Love your neighbor, Love your neighbor. I'm gonna bring us

through this scripture right where is this taken from Mark

twelve the the that you want it says this, And

if you have your Bibles, I'll encourage you to to

fill up on your Bible. It's just it just feels

different when when you're looking at it right in front

of you in your Bible, you're flipping it open, and

Mark twelve one says this, and you must love the

Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul,

all your mind, and all your strength. The second is

equally important. I want you to highlight that equally important.

The second is equally important. Love your neighbor as yourself.

No other commandment is greater than this. I don't know

if when we look at this scripture we actually do

we put like first place second place to what is

more important. I used to think love the Lord your

God is the most important. That love your neighbor, But

clearly scripture is telling us a different story. It is

equally important. We learn in homes right, maybe three homes

ago if I'm not mistaken. When we are going through

the Experience book, you know, we talked about how your

relationship vertically affects your relationship horizontally. So if you say

you love God, but yet you're not able to forgive people,

that means you don't really love God. And catching the

drift if you're saying that, oh, I devote my life

to God. I do all these things for God, but

yet we lash out at people every day. I'm talking

to myself, especially when I'm driving on the road. Okay,

our roads. You know what I mean. If I say

I love God, but yet I'm not able to love people,

I'm a hypocrite. I'm going right into it, and I

hope you guys are okay, Okay, no soft lending straight away,

all right. Loving our neighbors is equally important as loving God.

Not the words of Stephen, not the words of just

a multivational speech, but this from the world of God.

The second is equally important. And we're gonna look at

two types of neighbors today and litter. We'll go back

to that video later, all right, but we're gonna talk

about two types of neighbors today. The first one, I

want to talk to you about. Is love your neighbors within. Okay,

tell you all neighbors say love your neighbors within, and

then your other neighbors to say that's you. Yes, love

your neighbors within. Basically is gonna be talking about loving

our fellow Christian brothers and sisters. Okay. And then in

the second part, we're gonna talk about love your neighbors without. Okay,

that without it is not don't have that without Actually,

if you look at the definition, one of the one

of the definitions of without it is actually means outside

right outside the fold, without right within and without. So

the first one we're gonna talk about is love your

neighbors within. Okay, Mark Twelfe. Just we talked about it,

We're gonna look at the next one. Can you see

go to the next slight? Yes, John, the thirty five.

I wanted to pay attention to this verse. It says this,

So now I'm giving you a new commandment, familiar, similar

to what we just read. Right, love each other just

as I have loved you. This is Jesus saying this

love is each other just as I have loved you.

You should love each other. Say it twice the means

it must be important, and then the bolded words your

love for one another will prove to the world that

you are my disciples. Our ex Church this year our

theme is disciples First. We are emphasizing a lot on

discipleship because it is actually the blueprint to grow if

you want to grow in our faith, if we want

to grow closer to the Lord. The blueprint that Jesus

himself has showed us is discipleship. Therefore he had twelve

disciples right, and then you will see throughout the whole Bible,

and I shed this before. Since the Old Testament, you

see examples of discipleship happening. Elijah to Elijah, for example,

it was discipleship that happened. Right. You have Moses to

Joshua and Caleb. Discipleship right. Discipleship is key. Of course,

I won't talk too much about discipleship specifically today, but

I want to talk something about something that relates to that.

The s disciples is something we ought to do. We

also know about the great commission to go and make

disciples of all nations. Do you guys know the vision

of ex Church? Which scripture is that ah toy Hypercook

two fourteen that the knowledge of the glory of God

shall feel. Knowledge of the glory of God shall feel

the earth as water has covered the sea. There is

the vision of x Church, and that is really the

intention of ex Church. Whatever we do is to see

the knowledge of the glory of God, feel the earth,

knowledge of glory of God, feel your offices, your schools,

wherever the Lord has placed you, the glory of God

shines true. And there is how we make disciples. There

is how we share the gospel. There is where people

will see God through us. So that's why disciples first,

That's why we have this theme, because when we recognize

that we are disciples, first, the Lord's glory will come

to us wherever we're at. And then coming back to

this scripture, to show the world that we are Jesus disciples,

that we are true disciples. This is what we have

to do. Your love for one another will prove to

the world that you are My disciples. Why use the

word proof need to prove? Man I already say I'm

a discipoma. Why do I do we need to prove it?

Needing to prove basically also seems to suggest that there

are there is their opposing opinions on this. That's what

you need to prove, right. Just like when you say, hey,

I can do a triple backflip, what would your friends say,

prove it? Right? I can live to undred twenty seven

kilograms and they live, prove it. That means there's something

that is opposing this truth. And for us to verify

this truth that we are really disciples of Jesus. That's

only one way, loving one another. So simple, Not go bland,

judge man, not go a mission driven. Oh, your love

for one another will prove to the world that you

are my disciples. In a bit, we're gonna dive deep

what this love entails. Because love is such a broad word, right.

Is it the same love that I gave to my

cat I don't have a cat. Is it the same

love that I give us two video games? I love

video games. We're gonna explore that in a bit, all right. So,

loving your neighbors within is something that the Lord has

commanded us to do. And when I say within, I'm

talking about here, the church, the person sitting next to you,

in front of you, behind you, around you. Love your

neighbors within X Chapter two forty two to forty seven

famous scripture talking about the early Church. This is where

we see that all the believers devoted, devoted themselves to

the apostles teaching, and to fellowship and to sharing in males.

So if you can flay open your scripture, you can

go there. But yeah, it's over here as well. All right,

A deep sense of all came over them all, and

apostles performed many miraculous miraculous signs and wonders, and all

the believers mad together, familiar we are here in one place,

and shared everything they had. Oh, this one had shared everything.

All who here has a tesla? Want to share? Me? Kidding? Okay,

share everything. I recently got interest in ev cars. I've

been researching a lot. Anyways, I can dream. I can dream.

Dreaming is free. Okay, So mad together and share everything.

And you have to understand the context of the church.

Then the gospel was reaching all groups of people, including

the rich and the poor. And the poor were like

really poor to a point where they have no food

to eat. You're talking about widows back in the society.

Then widows were the ones that would really suffer because

if the husband dies and nobody none of the brother's

siblings brings this widow in to take care of the widow.

The widow will basically be begging for food oftens where

they get their food. There's no such thing as orphanages

back then, right. So, and these are the people that

were coming into you know, receiving the Gospel, accepting Jesus,

finding new life in God. But the church, because Jesus

is the head of the church, who loves everyone. The

church naturally, everyone who receives the Gospel receives Jesus. Everyone

naturally will also have that love for each other. And

that was the radical love. And even though I use

the word radical, I hope the radical would be the

new normal. Back now we see it as radical. They

shared everything, But they did that not out of compulsion,

not out of obligation. They did it out of compassion,

out of love for one another. And therefore they shared

everything they had. They sold their property, Oh my goodness,

how many of us would do that, and possessions and

shared the money with those in need. The scripture also

says that no one was in need or in lack.

Everyone had enough. Amazing, amazing. And the following scripture say

is the worship together at the temple each day met

it in homes for the Lord's Supper, come for worship

at homes. You get to experience that, okay, and share

their males with great joy and generosity, all the while

praising God and enjoying the good will of all the people.

And each day the lot added to their fellowship. Those

who were being safe pass. Kennev has a saying, and

I share this before, if everybody wants, nobody gets, But

if everybody gives, everybody gets. So imagine our church like this.

And I know, actually our church is quite generous. I

from why. I know. I know different ones have been

helping each other, supporting here and there. I may not

even know all the stories here, So good job, kudos,

keep going, because that's how the church is supposed to be,

to help one another, to support each other during difficult times.

I'm not just talking about material possessions over here. Why

do they talk so much about material possessions because it

was a real problem in the church. I think here

we are quite comfortable. Okay, maybe not the extent very rich,

but I would say we are not like that. But

here our needs could be different. Needs could be emotional,

could be social, community needs could be I don't know.

It could even be uh some of us. Yeah, like

I said's social needing a community. Many of us need

spiritual support. Are we giving that to one another? Are

we sharing that with one another? Are we're looking up

for each other? And that's a reminder I have to

tell myself every day as well. Do I just care

about how I feel today? The whole weay go past?

I just think about myself? Or is that someone that

if I prayed I would have noticed, Actually this person

needs a little bit of help, a little bit of encouragement.

I tell you one thing that the encouragement just meet

a lot. There will be moments where recently, I have

a someone in church that passed me a postcard. Right,

a person went for a trip and uh, just during

missions conference, I prayed for this person. I just, uh,

you know, caught up with this person pray and the

person was saying, our work has been tough. It's been

hard to manage my time, having to serve and work

and trying to do my best and herding. I got

to give the person a little bit of guidance, encouragement,

pray for him. Cried. That took me by surprise, but

I think the lot was working and it passed me

a postcard. And that postcard was just a simple It's

not an expensive postcut. It's a postcard from where he traveled.

And he wrote a very long message. He's more comfortable

specame Mandrid. But he wrote to me in English, so

when I read it, it took me about to understand

what he was writing. But it was okay, And you

know what, I felt so encouraged. It was it could

have been a long week, but when I read that,

I just felt so encouraged. Can you imagine if you

start doing that and not saying that you do this

every day? But let's let's keep our eyes and ears

open those around us who needs encouragement today. One simple

message makes a whole lot of difference. Can encourage you

one morning if you wake up you know not if

you wake up, please wake up when you wake up,

excuse me when you wake up during your quiet time?

Maybe can I encourage you to include this in your prayer? Lord,

who can I bless today? Simple prayer? Who can I

bless today? And sometimes God will give you a name.

And when God gives your name, drop the person text

he hey how are you today? Thought of you? Today,

pray for you. Do you know that goes a long way.

That goes a long way. Right, your colleagues in office,

Killer buy coffee, lay By, buy a cup of coffee. Hey,

why you buy me coffee? Nola, just want to bless

your life. See, you've been quite stressed. I hope there's

not much, but I hope this will cheer you up

a bit. Right, that's a prayer that I have to

remind myself to also pray and coming back neighbors within

first the church. This is family, guys. I know it's

very cliche. Uh. You know, there's a there's a there's

a joke that people say, any company that says that

we are family is a company you want to avoid. Uh,

there's a joke lit right right. The benefit is friendship

in the company, there's your benefit. But truly, in the

context of the church, we are family. I can tell

you this. If anything happens to you and you reach

out to this to your church, the church will come

around you. I guarantee you that. Sure we may not

be there in every single moment, but I can guarantee

you we'll do our best to support, we will pray.

I hope we have been having that tread recollar. As

much as we know the needs that we have, we

try right. We are family not by blood, but by

salvation because of Jesus. We all have the same lot

and savior. Right Galicians six one to three. Dear brothers

and sister says, if another believer is overcome by some sin,

you who are godly, should gently and humbly help that

person back onto the right path, and be careful not

to fall into the same temptation yourself. Share each other's burdens,

and in this way obey the law of Christ. Hold up,

what's the law of Christ? Think back about the commandment

that was mentioned earlier, and I'm going to repeat this

verse again. Share each other's burdens, and in this way

you obey the law of Christ. The law of love

no longer the law of judgment, because when Jesus came,

it was a law of love and of mercy. But

that doesn't mean we won't be judged. Right, We cannot

take salvation for granted. But here it says that when

you share each other's burdens, you obey the commandment of

what love your neighbor. You obey the law of Christ.

If you think oh this one, this I love this part.

This one stung me really hard. Verse three. If you

think you are too important to help someone, you're only

fooling yourself. You are not that important God, I thought

I'm your child. God. No. Over here, Paul tells the

Galician church, Hello, you think you're very important that No,

don't be so self absorbed that you can't see the

needs of others. Don't be so selfish that you think

that I already am in like there's nothing I can give.

We just learning homes. What's in your back? Right? Not

in homes. We learned that we all have something to

offer them and it doesn't have to be money. Guys

offering care, offering your time. Are we friends beyond Sunday Church?

I hope we are. Yesterday we just had our Saturday

afternoon leadership meeting with the leaders and were always saying this, man,

we need to start having fun again or sola. Yeah,

I know with me right pass Steven always talk a

heavy stuff on you wanna, but yeah, I also a

lot fun. I also want to have fun. Right? Are

we friends beyond Sunday Church? Meaning to say, are we

meeting needs a day to day basis? Or we just

saying hi by on a Sunday. Are we going deeper?

Are we building relationship? Because that's what That's not just

something nice to say, but that's what the lot wants,

that's what That's what the Lot wants for us. That

we have each other, that we look up for each other.

Are we involving ourselves in the life of others? And

and when you want to involve yourself in the life

of others, you will have to open up yourself. That's

the other way, right. That means you have to your

guard down, hang out with people. Are hey, got time

for mama and let's go mama, hang out, share, make friends.

Yeah again, I don't think this is very complicated. I

think all of us can do that, right. Yeah, as

somebody out here for male catch up, check in on

each other. Love your neighbors here, right, because I'm going

to tell you the truth. If you're not able to

love our neighbors here, we're not able to love neighbors

outside because in spurring each other on here that we're

able to spur each other on to do what needs

to be done outside. All right, So imagine if all

of us are looking up for each other and again.

So I feel like a broken record. I feel like

I appreciated it before. Let's do that. Let's do that,

all right. It doesn't take a past It's not only

the pastest job, it's not only the leader's job. All

of us have a part to play in this church. Right.

We're all pilots in body, but different parts, and therefore

we have different giftings, different talents, different things that the

law has given to us that we can use to

bless people. Amen, all right, So first point, love your

neighbors within. Second point, love your neighbors without you know,

there is another scripture that talks about loving God without

all and also loving our neighbors. Just now we mentioned

that one scripture by the Commandments. Really right, look ten

twenty five to the the seven. I want us to

go to this scripture one day. An expert in religious law.

It could be a pharisee, you see, we don't know,

but he is an expert in the religious law. He

stood up to test Jesus by asking him this question, Teacher,

what should I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus replied,

what does the law Moses say? How do you read it?

And the men very smart. He probably heard Jesus say this.

The man answered, you must love the Lord your God

with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength,

and all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself

for a very good hundred months. And then Jesus said, right,

do this and you will live Verse only nine. The

man wanted to justify his actions, so he asked Jesus,

and who is my neighbor? Where right is? I'm like,

what does the man have to justify? What did the

men do? And again, if you read the contexts of

the time, you talk about Pharisees, and you see it's

the religious leaders of the time. They believe salvation is

only for the Jews, not for the gentiles. I don't

know if you guys have been following for today prayer

and fast these few days, I've been talking about that, actually,

Paul having to defend why salvation is for the gentiles, right,

it's not just for the Jews. But I I'm glad

to believe that this religious man was trying to justify

his actions of not loving the gentles. I just know

selfish is what you. I just I've been loving the Jews.

That's my job. That's it. Don't tell me to do

anything more. So he was actually trying to justify that

by doing so, he's already loving his neighbor, and by

doing so, he already fulfills the law of God, and

by doing so he has inherited eternal life. Nothing to

do it. But yet, you know what is a story

that comes after that? And he guesses, if you have

your bible's open, it's going to be very easy to

see what's the next parable. Shout it out, Shout it out.

What's the next parable that happens after there? Look ten

five thirty seven. The Good Samaritan coincidence, I think not.

Jesus never worked in coincidences. Right after this was the

parable of the Good Samaritan. That was when Jesus shed

to these men about how it's not about Jews or gentiles.

By God is for all. We ought to love everyone.

And this comes to the point again the second point,

love your neighbors without it's just not enough. If you're

just loving the people in church. We are called to

love those that are outside of the four walls of

the church. Over here in this scripture, when you tie in,

look look ten twenty five to tenty seven with the

scripture later about the Good Samaritan. You see that loving

a neighbor crosses over people, groups, and religions. It's not

just loving Christians, living people of other faith showing us

that we ought to love our neighbors outside of the church.

Sometimes being in church, and especially if we're very involved

in church. And it's not a bad thing, right, being

involved in church. But the danger of that is we

are so occupied with church activities that we forgot about

God's come upment. Ironic, right, We're so busy with meetings

and this I have to remind myself as well, so

busy meetings, so busy I ministry, that we forgot the

simple principle behind why we need to do that is

to love our neighbors. Are we so involved in church

that we have no time for our pre believing friends? Oh?

That one for me? Or so hard because for me

my workplace is also all Christian because full time mostly Christian.

Actually we got we got two staffs that are not believers.

But sometimes I can if I'm not careful, I can

get so comfortable in the environment that I'm doing the

last work but actually not fulfilming the lot's commandment of

loving the neighbors around me. Right, and later, I would

like to share a little bit of stories as well

about how God convicted me. Right. I want to share

something that my friend did. Uh. There's this friend of mine.

I knew him in my internship. He used to be

a video director, film director, believer, so I saw in socials.

I was mind blown. He posted one day, he said,

and then he wrote, there is that his wife and

a few other friends in the condor organized in an

attempt to want to reach and know the neighbors in

the condo. How many of us you stay in a condor? Anyone? Anyone? Yeah? Yeah,

how many of you can say that you know your neighbors?

I know, I know. For me, I still like it. Also,

I also I go home, I don't last time, I

don't say hi, but got convicted my heart at least

say hello. And I actually walked around the neighborhood to

introduce myself, uh to some neighbors. But anyways, so yeah,

you guys probably know where I'm getting it ready, So

this pharre of mind. They had the same conundrum. If

we stay here, but we don't know the neighbors, the

neighborhood don't know us, but we are called to be

light where we are at. And you know what my

friend's wife did together a few others, they organized something

called neighbors Day for the condo and basically it's one

day they're all the every it's not compoulseriala, but those

who want to participate they open a stall in their

poor area and then some sell hot dogs, some cell stay,

you know, some cell cakes they bake. And true that

they built connection and they start to know each other.

And true that the light that was caught up in

one unit, God's light said that to spread because they

started to know each other. Such a simple idea. But

I'm like, well, this is brilliant organizing something like that.

Some of you stay in the London houses. You you

have community groups on right gola. When they organize stuff,

sometimes you feel like organized the Chinese New Year luncheon.

Old people don't go go. You know, there's someone here

is very good with that anti kut. You know what

blew my mind. We went to have lunch one time,

Josephine and I and her we went and then she

brought us somewhere not exactly neils or probably a few

kilometers away when we are walking, people can saying hi

to her, and why what tricky liters away the shop?

People knows Anti Katy in my hair. I'm like, what, Antikitty?

Very cool? You can't everyone knows. And here's the crazy thing.

When we were we were eating at uh at at

a Copitia and it's like malay stalls and all that

got to and and all that. Right we're eating there,

the the the lady, the lady who is that she

and the husband, they are basically the boss of that restaurant.

I think Copedia the lady can say Auntie very long,

they see you the next time. If you just want

to come here and hang out, we go and pick

you up and get you here. I wish Copia would

do that. But you know what, that's what this tells me.

I think it has made an impact. Did they remember her,

you know, walking down the back the car, walking down

stick and say hi to people? Like what? And this

is like a few kilometers away from her house and

the neighbors I can you can ask all the neighbors

know them all right, all the neighbors know them. And

I really aspire to be like Ndikitty and hope we

can't do that. If you're thinking about how how else

can I reach people? Who else can I reach? Start

with where you're at your neighbors. Start with a hallo

when you see that you park your car for those

lended for me. Don't just walk in ah, they say hey, hello,

good evening, how's your day? Okay, yeah, normal conversation. Simple,

But trust me, you start there, you'll be more in

other story. This one happened very recently. You remember when

I shared a testimony of how last time, you know,

when I go to the gym, I don't feel like

talking to people. I just want to do my own

thing right. And then got convicted my heart to tell me,

don't close your sh job. You cannot decide when and when,

when and when not to be a Christian. You're a

Christian Turing four seven. And then of course I got

to share a gospel with some basically long story shot,

I say, okay God, and then just like that, someone

came up to me, and long story shot, the person

actually say, I don't know how to explain this, but

I see her light when I see you. And I

got to share the gospel with that person, all right,

So there was April adding March of April and then

creature of old habit last month, last two months, I

go to gym, I closed my shot and I just

want to do my own workout. I'm very my time

is very tired. I got a night meeting, I finished work.

I got one hour fifteen minutes to do my workout.

Put on my earphones. I don't want to talk to anyone.

I just want to focus on my workout. Get it done,

go back home. Right. Last week two weeks ago, I said, Jim,

And then God spoke to me again Steven, Yes, Lord,

why are you close shop again? Oh? Let me off

the hook, Lord, Ih gospel with one person right, and

he made some friends. No, you don't get to decide

when you close up. You are my witness wherever you go.

And then I saw a guy and I know that

Holy Spirit probably, but that guy was scary. It's huge, really,

Bob dude, most touch and beard. I'm like God of

all people here that PERSONA yeah, okay God, Okay, after

I finished my set, I'll go talk to him. I

feel so tired. Okay, okay God, the last tie you guys,

remember right that the person came up to talk to me, right,

same story this time around, same thing. I finished my set.

This person we've seen each other at the gym for

so many times, just never said hi, I introduce ourself.

Right right after I say okay, God, okay, I'll talk

to this person, the person came up to me, Oh,

you tell me that you can make the kind of

story I'm not. I know it was got ready came

up to me, how long have you been working on

I've been here since February and but okay, this person

did one thing better than the previous person. This person

didn't say can I correct your form? Okay? Last time

the first thing the person came up to me is

like I was gonna say, hi, can I correct your form?

Twice he did that. But okay, it's okay. Got to share.

But it's good, it's good, it's good. I get to learn.

And this guy had a chat. Found out this person

was came from Paul Dixon, a small town, big city

college student twenty years old studying in Lincoln College and

got and became an open door because found out he's

in student council and a straight way offered. I say, hey,

I work at the ANGO. We look into youth development

let's talk more. And the person said, let me bring

whatever you have up to the management. And of course

beyond that. My prayer is that I get to reach

this person. You're gonna have my mouth hopefully with him soon.

In our daily sometimes it doesn't take a lot for

us to start loving the neighbors around us. And you know,

it starts with okay, I'm open, and again the Lord

knows me, and I'm like, I'm a gem diet. I

have very hard. Okay, God, bring the person to you.

But it starts with whether your heart is open for that.

It always starts with that, always always starts with that.

You know. The question I have for us is this.

We know trouble is common. All of us have problems

on that right, It's no secret, right, and it's the

same for everyone else out there. Everyone is going through something.

So what is our response when we see someone in need?

I'm gonna talks about something more direct? Okay, uh recently

quite inspired two homes ago, John, you remember your car? Yeah,

so for our homes. At seven something, I got a

call from John Percet even my get start record video,

let me see the despot. Oh Bettere died all right?

Better died, so he took grep over to homesirs and

after that, okay, let's go jump start your car. It

was yeah, in a in a shoplot area, a very

busy area. So we went over, all right, went over

and then uh, of all the places he parked, he

parked it the slope and it's the side pucking Taiwan.

So we cannot jump start the car. The car has

to be pushed out first and can jump start right.

So both of us asked Adrian Adenales steering the car

and both of us push, push the slop, got the latch,

the tires can go over her rest and I said

he drank price break press break first break arrests. And

then a lady came and just started pushing the car.

Didn't say hi, didn't started pushing a car with us,

and the car came out. The lady didn't have to

do anything. We did even manage to get her name.

She didn't even say hi, right, and then once we

pushed the car out, we say thank you so much,

no probably, and then she left and then I'm gonna

jumps out the car, right, So Induran's car came and

then we're gonna put and then so happened a Malay family.

A guy reached a car. They say, he don't retake

your time. We're blocking their car up basically, so say sorry,

I give us a few minutes to jumps that car.

And then he came out. And this is when I

found out there's such a thing as a power bank

for car to jumpstart. He took his power bank. He

say hey, come let me help you just put it

and then start ready. And then the guy just and

after that say hey, thank you so much. I didn't

have to help it. Cuda ballah. And I found out

about this banger. You know how much is it? Sixty

plus r git? And oh my gosh, I body for

myself so away that night. Serious, serious, I say, remain

all that. I'm like, man, don't need to go again? Jumpstart?

And you see the thing is I bought that so

that whenever I see people in trouble that I'm able

to just start right. It's very easy, small price to

pay sixty plus ring kit right, and that one you

can use to charge other stuff or so. But for me,

I just leave in a car. Right, you can jump

start the COVID. Oh why I'm sharing this is sometimes

people who are not believers are faster to respond to

needs than believers in the Church. And I think that's

the tragedy, you know, because back in those days, Christians

are the first responders to every need in society. You

don't have to go as far back as the Book

of Times of ball Acts, even as close as maybe

hundred two hundred, three hundred years ago. Christians are known

for being first responders. There's a village burned down, Christians

are the first to raise funds. I pray that we

It's true that the people know the love of the Lord.

You know for me, You remember the video I showed

you earlier. I guess which person I am. Last time

I was the lady, something happened. Watch It's not because

I'm very entertained, but in terms of fight or flight response,

I just get stunned when things happen. It's been like

that since I was a kid. And I'm sharing this

with a purpose, and hopefully it can become an encouragement

to you. It can be something you pray for. When

I grew up, I see things happen, right, Actually a

lot of people getting hurt. Lot in jed. My response

is always stund on you. And if I'm driving on

the road, I see accident happened. Now I stand, but

my leg is still on the accelerator. By the time

I came to my senses, Hey, I should go. I

have to Lady, drove too far A few times. It

happened when I drove back soft really, so I pray

this to God. I remember, I said, God cannot be that.

If I'm the light of You've caused me to be

the light where I'm at, But yet I'm not able

to help people. Lord, would you help me with this.

I won't tell you to be careful of what you

pray for because that happened a few years ago. It

was January twenty twenty two, I think Entry. I think

it's twenty twenty tw Ententree, twenty twenty Tree. January. We

were having a handdle meeting with pass away and group

in one of the leader's house Saturday. Halfway to true

neighbor came knocking on the door. Help. My husband has

collapsed in the toilet and and uh, basically that leader's

dad has been a mystery CPR. But no, certainly diiret really,

so they asked who here can help? I did, uh first,

it costs as ago, so I remember a little bit.

So I just say, okay, nobody else here is as quip,

even though in a little bit nobody else here knows anything.

I go though, and then I say, the first kiss

to the lips I ever gave to someone was a man.

So I did separ and but by the looks of it,

I knew that I think it's too late really because

it's all right really, so I did it anyways, and

I'm gonna give you some grossy details so you can

share my pain. So after a while, right, so it

looks like the man has collapsed for a while and

was only discovered much later. When a person's colesoto, while

every muscle will relax, that means when you press, the

fluid will come out. Yeah, there was a CPR. I

was doing right. Sadly the person they make it. But

I did CPR fo. I don't know how. I think

it's really strength from the Lord. I did it for

thirteen minute straight of compression and then the embillas arrived.

But yeah, he was pronounced that he was his past

honor that night itself. Then I caught myself a surprise.

I'm like, hey, I responded quite fast. I think, Lord

is an opportunity that you've given me. Same year again,

Prittney s prayer. Right, Lord, I want to be the

first responder. I was coming back from Thailand from missions

conference with Passa Daniel. We were at the airport and

then suddenly I heard somebody shout kobay Yashi. I still

remember the name by Ashibayashi. A few chats away we

were at the lobby was a collapsed Japanese man with

the French shouting and the man was having convulsions, and

immediately I knew it was epilepsy. Uh. So I didn't

even have time things. I was shocked. I immediately went

in to help. Uh. And of course the first thing

you have to do is to lay it us on

the side and then make sure the tongue is not

being beaten. So he started to chatter his teeth. Oh no,

and not enough time to take and put in. I

chated my finger in uh, and then he started biting down.

It was really painful. I had to scream for help

because people were just watching. Wow. I was there and

then people came to help Prior up in his mouth

and just put the cloth there for him to bite.

It was quite bad. Epilepsy, episodah, it was really bad.

It went on, but thankfully the responders that the medical

thing came quite fast and PASSA. Daniel after that told me, wow,

how do you respond to that? I was just stunned

in that moment and then the God me thinking, you know,

I'm like, hey, what change because last time I used

to not be able to and realize that it was

because of the prayer I prayed. God helped me to

be a first responder. I tell you, maybe, yes, I

may not be able to share the gospel, but I

hope true the actions people will be able to experience

God's love. So I want to encourage you. Maybe there

is something you can pray, pray for opportunities that you

get to help people. Oh last week I think, oh, no,

two saturd days ago. And with this story I wrap up.

Sharon and I we were at Keayside Mall in god

like morning. We were in the leaf you remember, in

the lead going up. Suddenly the live open halfway Jammo.

Then we heard a scream and we found out. A

boy's hand got stuck at the door, screaming, so in

mediate leave when wing to check, but the boy managed

to pull it. Thankfully, the boy hands small enough able

to pull out, but immediately it was of the majority

Fay family. But we were there just making sure they're okay,

all right. Last time I wouldn't have responded this way.

I would go a not my problem, don't call, don't

this the people. But now I think, by the help

the Holy Spirit, I'm able to respond differently right, to

try to help as much as I can. So this

is my encouragement to you. One of the ways for

you to care for people is to respond the needs.

That's how people will know you care. Get your hands

the tea. Get your hands the tea. Let's way you know,

if you see a MATCHI on the side the highway,

don't know what to do? If you know how to

change that, your help? Ah, stop the bit, just help

you know. Yes, you're gonna be all sweaty afterwards, but

you're helping someone in distress. And what better way to

share God's than to immediately meet the need. I don't know.

Could this be a prayer that you want to pray

that you'll be able to love your neighbors by meeting

their immediate needs. There's another part, but I'm not going

to share that. Basically, you know when the word that

is used for love your neighbors, right, you know there

are different definitions of love right in Hebrew, right, there's failure,

there's heros, and there's agape. Right, Failiure is like brotherly love.

Heros is romantic love, sexual love. And then there is

a gapet that is unconditional love that is used to

describe God's love to us. Do you know that in

this scripture where you say love your neighbor as yourself,

the love you see is not failure. It uses agape.

You know what does this tell me? Firstly stressed, I

can never do it. Lord? If you say agapet love

my neighbor, what more people? I don't know? And sometimes

you want to agape love the people you know so

very hard, especially hard. But yet Bible says that or

how And the Lord revealed to me this is to

tell you, Stephen, that you are to love with my love.

That means you need me in the picture. If you

want to I got better love for your neighbors. You

can't do this on your own. If you do this

on your own, you will feel you will burn out.

You need me in the picture. If you feel very

pressured and convicted, I have good news for you. The

pressure is not on you. You have the lot with you.

When you say, when God says, go and love your neighbors,

say Lord, I need your help, and the Lord will

help you. Just like how the law say God witness

to people in the gym. Lord, I heed the Lord.

How the Lord helper brought the people to me. Let

the Lord help you. I've got bad love. It's not

something we can do on our own. We need the Lord.

It is a bad that we can never achieve. It

can only be done by God and true God, which

is why we need to rely on Him to do it.

So my question to you, as I am, is this,

how can you exercise loving your brothers and sisters in

Christ in this week alone? Think about it? Trust me.

If you don't practice this this week, you'll forget. But

I want to challenge you to take up this this exercise.

Say someone, you don't have to do a lot, just

ask God what can I do? Secondly, how can you

exercise loving your neighbors pre believing neighbors, especially in this

following week. What can you do in your in your

office doesn't have to be much by a sandwich, write

a card, encourage your supervisor who's been stressed out supervisor

that you don't like. Hmm, I think this is for

someone here. I'm not joking. I really feel it's for

someone here. I don't know who are Just to clarify,

I'm not I really don't know who, but and just

sense that that could this from the Lord. Be the

first to initiate when it comes to reaching out to people,

caring for people meeting needs because believers, we are supposed

to be known for that. It's true, is that people

will come to know the Lord, will come to experience.

If not, people will always see Christians. You want to

know Christians already have bad rap. What you say can

convince them because our Christians are up lah very judgmental.

It's no surprise that we already have that reputation global here.

So then how do we then share God's love? Talking?

No use actions, Put actions into what you say. You

say God is love, then be God's love to someone

need the need.
