  1. You're listening to a message to go from Axs Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. So I want to share with you on this topic.

  4. Actually the topic is just building a strong spiritual resilience. Okay,

  5. building strong, being resilient. We are walking in days that

  6. are just really you know, more challenging, more and more challenging.

  7. Life is going to be more challenging, not only for us,

  8. for our children. Even in universities now, education educators now

  9. are looking into developing our our students not only in

  10. the academic but in being able to face the changing,

  11. evolving world that's just changing really quickly. Now, can we

  12. send our young graduates out who will be not just

  13. you know, having all the a's, but not having the

  14. character to take it, not having the values, not being

  15. able to be a just adaptable. They're not They're not resilient.

  16. And so universities have noticed this and many of our

  17. schools and universities are now introducing what they call twenty

  18. first century learning skills to help the children develop and

  19. we want them to be more than just you know,

  20. very clever. So parents, don't just think about the a's

  21. and scholl your teacher for you want my children to

  22. get a you do life with more than an a

  23. you do life because of good character, good values, and

  24. strong emotionally. This is what we're building in students today

  25. in school good schools at least. Yeah. There, that's that's

  26. the focus now. So I'm able to say it because

  27. I'm studying master's in education and these are I'm not

  28. even a teacher, so I'm quite quite quiet most of

  29. the time. I'm just listening to other people. And I

  30. realized that's what we've been doing as a church. That's

  31. what we've been talking about building character, men and women

  32. of character and having But for us, we have Christ

  33. in us, amen. And and so the challenge for all

  34. of us, while we have Christ, we sometimes might forget

  35. that we do have the edge, and we must, you know,

  36. take up the cross, and we have to learn what

  37. God has given to us so that we can be resilient.

  38. We're all families, all our individuals, we all as young people,

  39. as older people, we will have different, different challenges. So

  40. in order to bring this message to you and so

  41. that you can remember it for a lifetime, I'm so

  42. hopefully that you remember for a lifetime, I bring you

  43. the humble tofu. We wrong direction, a kopagie, I bring

  44. you the humble tofo. Do we like tofu? People?

  45. Now?

  46. Some people like tofu, however, you know form, they cook

  47. it in put whatever. This is the silken tofu, and

  48. sometimes we eat it like this the next picture you know,

  49. just yah, see how and oil and then we you're

  50. hungry already I'm very hungry. So that's the silken. And

  51. you know it's very very soft, right, it's just like

  52. you know you you will it will break into pieces, right,

  53. but it's by itself. It's lovely. And if you like

  54. tofula if you're like, you know, this is soy and

  55. so one of the things about tofu is that in

  56. its natural form when you buy it, it is as

  57. it's like it's full of water. It's soft, and it

  58. will break very easily. So we candle it quite gently,

  59. so quite put trilli liant. But have you ever frozen

  60. your tofu? Have you? Have you cooked frozen tofu? So

  61. some people have never some people have. But you can

  62. freeze your tofu? Not Oh if you freeze your do

  63. what will it turn out like? After that? So I

  64. learned that since I buy tofu and I don't cook

  65. it on time because I'm too busy, but an hour

  66. I have to stay at home and cook three meals.

  67. So throw it into the freezer, all right. And something

  68. happens to your tofu and you throw it into the freeze.

  69. So there's some scientific thing that happens to it. But anyway,

  70. after you freeze your tour food is what you get

  71. to dang frozen tofo all right, So yeah, look at

  72. all can you see the little holes? Yeah, it looks

  73. like a like a sponge right the front. Yeah, that's

  74. what happens your tofu after you freeze it. So the

  75. so what happens is when you freeze your tofu, the

  76. tofu has water inside, right, so the water becomes ice crystals.

  77. So they so they become ice crystals. Then the crystals

  78. will push all these protein fat structures and all the protein.

  79. Your chemistry to draw the line all these protein structure,

  80. so they push push, push, and and it changes the

  81. slightly the structure. And what happens is once it thurs out,

  82. the holes come about because the ice crystals already melted.

  83. Then it and then and then it becomes more two

  84. years and and you can even sqush the water out.

  85. So I've done this, So I get the press and

  86. press and press and all the water comes out, and

  87. then you can fry it. You can boil it, you

  88. can barbecue, you can make curry with it. It won't

  89. break so easily. This is the silken to for the

  90. softer fool. There's hard to food, the harder ones. There's

  91. tought food pop. But I'm not just taking today. This

  92. kind of soft ful, softer, not the hat to. There's

  93. a hat to fool. So there's a softer fool. So

  94. so something happens to the tofu. The structure slightly changes,

  95. and then it's not so delicate ready long and it's

  96. more resilient. You know. You can fry it around and

  97. it can, it can, it cannot. It can the hand

  98. and it can absorb more flavor, so it's more flavor ful. Yeah,

  99. I can try it. I tried it all right, so

  100. it's fit for frying, for grilling. You make salad. Ah, okay, okay,

  101. you're gonna try it a few times something you get

  102. the hang of it. Any try ones. But I like

  103. to food that is frozen and then pause out can

  104. chew a yeah it's nice, right, So I so this Tofo.

  105. When you think about it, something changed the result of

  106. it stop. It stops being so delicate. And they say

  107. that some little bit of structure changes, La. I mean

  108. it doesn't change that the fact it is still soy based,

  109. but it becomes a bit more resilient, resilient, and it

  110. takes a now can take Mola can take more challenge

  111. Lave than a Frank challenge, Bubecula grilling, laming in the

  112. super so it won't break, Okay. So I feel like

  113. our lives are like that. Amen, So I bring you

  114. the Tofu. I bring you Tofu to bring you a

  115. message of resilience, all right, so that you can remember

  116. when you go through your challenges. But how do I

  117. how will I bring this message to you? So let's

  118. look first at the scripture in which I want to

  119. base it on, and then we'll go to Tofu, all right.

  120. Matthew chapter seven, Matthew chapter seven, verse twenty four to

  121. twenty seven, or just verse twenty four twenty five. Yeah,

  122. we want to look at what Jesus said. Now, Jesus

  123. said here in Matthew twenty So if you're got your Bible,

  124. we're still promoting printed bibles by the way, I haven't

  125. been here to promote this. By your bibles. By your bibles.

  126. One day you won't have a bible and normal WiFi.

  127. You cannot use your Bible on your phone. So anyway,

  128. by your bibles, bi bibles, all right, something to give

  129. to your children one day. Okay, all right, if you

  130. have bibles, turn to the scripture, or you have your

  131. e bibles. Turn the scripture and let's look at it.

  132. It says, yeah, Jesus is. Therefore, whoever hears these sayings

  133. of mine or these words of mine and does them,

  134. everybody say, does them? Okay, when you do them, I

  135. will liken him to a wise man. Tell your neighbor,

  136. wise man, wise man, all right, you're a wise man

  137. when you do. You're a wise man who built his

  138. house on the rock. And the rock is not Dane Johnson.

  139. The rock is Jesus, by the way, all right, No done, Johnson,

  140. The rock is Jesus. Here. And the rain descended, and

  141. the floods came, and the wind's blue the tree little

  142. pig's house. No, and the rain descended, The floods came,

  143. the wind's blue, and the bit on that house, and

  144. it did not fall for it was founded on the rock. Amen,

  145. on the rock. So if you don't hear the words,

  146. and when the winds come, the house will fall because

  147. you built it on sandy ground. But today I want

  148. to look at the rock, Amen, which is Jesus. We

  149. want to be able to see how we can build.

  150. Listen is one thing to do, is another thing to apply. Amen.

  151. So if you apply God's word, if you listen and

  152. you apply, you're a wise man. Amen, and you have

  153. your wise man, you will build your life on the

  154. solid rock Jesus Christ. Too many times we might build

  155. our lives and teach our children to build their lives

  156. on their career, and so you're focusing on their career paths.

  157. Please go here, go there, change his job. Change the

  158. job that is not solid. The only thing that is

  159. solid and will never change is Jesus. We just sang,

  160. We just worship and told the Lord that you are

  161. the one who is faithful. Amen, you Lord, We praise

  162. you because we overcome all the time. Amen. So Jesus,

  163. this is our solid rock, your life being built. Just

  164. just planting like that is not good enough. We gotta

  165. dig deep. And how do we dig deep in our lives?

  166. Is when you go through challenges two or not? Which

  167. parent here has a baby? You have a baby before? Okay, Karen,

  168. you have two children? Really right? I think when first

  169. time parenter first timer and geed your your child? Shit? Opinion?

  170. Are you are? You? Are you do? Fool like? Are you? Don't?

  171. Don't don't let no, don't don't don't let them eat

  172. sand of course not let them eat sand. I know

  173. because I have a friend like that. Don't don't the

  174. leg at the beach. Hello, you took to the beach.

  175. It's gonna have touched sand. Ride don't touch it? And

  176. what what half walking with? Ut? What? Don't touch? I

  177. cannot say. After she eats and eat sand? La, your

  178. child grows strong. You know a child that's kept clean

  179. for it. Don't touch here, Wipe here a hundred times,

  180. wipe sanitary sanitars. There is no way he's gonna build

  181. his immunity. Come on, you are you want a very

  182. good strong stomach? Go to India. You go to India

  183. one time. I went in there one time, like everyone

  184. who's been in there, diarrhea. I don't know what is

  185. in the water. I really don't know. You drinking when

  186. you got that water water. No, I guess our host,

  187. why what still can get diarrheal? But I tell you

  188. the bacteria in the diet that causes you diarrheal. No

  189. medication outside of India can heal you. Uhha. Only medicine

  190. in India can heal you. I tell you a law

  191. of medication is made the generic. It's made in India.

  192. Ha ha ha. So once you canna in there, you cannot

  193. already that say you'll be strong forever. See I went

  194. on Nepar came like no dirreea no. Every day eat

  195. Albert Dulbert Dulbert every day, eat the rice and friends.

  196. Life cannot be lived like we're all just to fool,

  197. you know, delicate, because then your child grow up like tofoola.

  198. I am not that kind of parent, although I'm not parented,

  199. but parented your teens. Okay, No, I don't give face one.

  200. I don't give Okay, you don't get some hard times,

  201. you will become to fool. You don't let your child

  202. get dirty. How are you sick? Sick? It's not a

  203. bad thing, Thank God. Your body tell you you're sick.

  204. Now you can get better. And then some bacteria because

  205. I don't know how immunity your system and your body

  206. begins to grow those I don't know, good bacteria. I

  207. don't know. I'm not a doctor. Okay, all these things happen.

  208. Your body gets strong immunity. So life is like that.

  209. We will go through that, same for our children, same

  210. as adults. I just find people who want your baby

  211. to be so clean forever. I don't know. No immunity,

  212. No immunity, isn't it forever sick? So now forever sick

  213. then can be immunity. So we have to be patient, patient,

  214. patient are you? Because I got stuff every day? But

  215. the emergency live one hundred times? You Emergency live. You

  216. need to work my full time and to work every time.

  217. My child sicken? Leave okay, next day, is still sick

  218. next day? And mind you, I hire them by person

  219. or no husband, my husband and my husband. No work done. No,

  220. these are your pastor's lam. Okay. But what to do?

  221. Gonna seek means build strong immunity. No, it's okay, it's okay,

  222. all right. I think we all have to go through

  223. this in life. So when we be on the rock,

  224. to go deeper, you have to dig deep. Yeah, and

  225. to dig deep in your life. You have to go

  226. to challenges. No challenge, no gain lay right, same same.

  227. You don't take exams. You don't know what it is

  228. to study. Really, you don't take exactly. You don't know

  229. how well you know. You don't get some challenge of

  230. you know, making how to make friends? Oh, these are

  231. life skills. You cannot protect your child forever, you cannot

  232. protect yourself whatever. You just have to go and face

  233. hitler and then all that's within you is gonna rise up.

  234. It's gonna show you what you have or what you

  235. don't have. And if you don't have it, you just

  236. learn it, and you learn it, you get through it. Amen. Amen.

  237. So in teaching, if you're teaching, say no, I said

  238. Bible rent teachers. You want to have an end product.

  239. You have to have a process, and a lot of

  240. us want to run away from the process. Right, you

  241. want to have a since how I tell them girls,

  242. you're marry y'all? I want a ten? Men? Oh yeah,

  243. you think you get a ten? Now, no way. You

  244. may be a two. But you know if he's gonna

  245. be a ten, he'll get that because of you. Your

  246. marriage builds each other arm. Then you become the ten. Intent,

  247. and he won't ten Maybe now's ten are not then

  248. I also don't know it. But when you build, you

  249. go through the hard knocks, you grow. The process is painful,

  250. but there will be an outcome. In our prayers, believers

  251. in Christ follow us of Christ. That outcome is that

  252. there will be a change. And when that changes, we

  253. know we've learned something. We've learned to be forgiving. We've

  254. learned to be patient. In the process of doing marriage.

  255. We learn to say sorry so hard, that the process

  256. very hot all but no process, no outcome. In education,

  257. the same thing. You don't take your students through it.

  258. What kind of product you want to a you can

  259. don't get an ala. You don't go through this, you

  260. don't learn, you don't do the projects, you don't have

  261. that No, no change. They still don't know. But if

  262. you want to know whether you've learned patience, men go

  263. through the process. So cheers to all the moms and

  264. dad's husbands and wives here haha, welcome to your world. Amen,

  265. this is your heavenly will, your dream will ha? Well,

  266. marriage like that one like that? Look yeah, then you're

  267. in the same are fifty years after a while, you

  268. just close two ice before marriage. I tell all of them, No,

  269. I know, ex cherch you Alsa passes and better like

  270. you think what I want to save you from your

  271. graveleg you marry wrong men, wrong woman. That's it. You

  272. tell me marriage is like hell, I know because you

  273. don't listen. I'm not being strict. I'm being caring. Open eyes,

  274. see see everything, pray, go into it right because you

  275. don't go in like tofu looking very nice on the outside.

  276. Then suddenly when hard times come, no need need to

  277. go through some freezing, go through some freezing ridge freezing

  278. because we want to grow. See, in order to grow,

  279. we have a process. Our child born to get to

  280. be able to walk, you have to crawl, and you

  281. know they will fall down sometimes. How come in life

  282. you can take the natural. How about your spiritual is parallel.

  283. If you are baby, you start to walk, you crawl first,

  284. and then you fall a bit and you start walking.

  285. Then it looks like they're going from here to here,

  286. you know, and they're gonna drop. But they drop. They're

  287. not the head you see, you do, not here or

  288. your panic. Right now, we used to take care of

  289. my god daughter of our fall down pound husbands say

  290. why you drop the girl. I didn't drop the god.

  291. She drops child math your god child you right. So

  292. there's this process. There is the building up and strengthening

  293. of the natural person. You're spiritual also like that. We

  294. want you and I to be resilient. Spiritual resilience is

  295. so that we can take the long marathon and not

  296. die halfway and say I give up my faith. I

  297. didn't say I do want Jesus anymore. It's too hard.

  298. I want the way that this way is so much easier.

  299. Easy doesn't mean eternity. White road doesn't mean eternal life.

  300. Narrow road tough. Are you facing the same person? Give

  301. me a hard time, but you persevere, perseverance, going through

  302. the process. Let the process take its time, Let it go.

  303. Let the process go through that. The tofu has to

  304. go through the freezing. Only we can see the holes

  305. later and then it becomes nice and spongy and absorb

  306. the flavor and can fry and barbecue and grill and

  307. make sell it. Yay. That's who we want to be

  308. resilient in the times when it's tough. Amen. So the

  309. rock our resilience can only come because we take root,

  310. we listen, and then we do God's what we listen

  311. and we do and we go deeper. That's why discipleship

  312. this year when we launch, not that we haven't been

  313. doing discipleship all these twenty five years in x we

  314. have been the reason why we have the leaders that

  315. we have is because they have just given themselves to

  316. be disciples. If we did not disciple, we let anything.

  317. You wan't do anything, no rules, nor routine, nothing not,

  318. we will become dau fu silkn thaufu. The church will

  319. not function. We can't plant the way we plant churches.

  320. We send out sons and daughters to plant churches all

  321. across the globe. There are sons and daughters. We didn't

  322. send somebody we don't know, and we said no, And

  323. when we did, we got into trouble. Because you go deep.

  324. Your life is taking the depth as you are discipled.

  325. Jesus said, follow me. I will make you fishes of men.

  326. But before you become the fishes of men you are

  327. you follow him. Oh that's how you fish. Oh that's

  328. how you do it, Jesus. Oh, Jesus, that's harsh. Get

  329. deep behind me, Satan. He's calling, Peter, get deep behind me, Satan.

  330. My word, you would have left your ready, do not,

  331. Daniel Radley, I come and say, get deep behind me.

  332. What are you calling me? What? Wow? Jesus is harsh man,

  333. he's your pastor. You and I did really we're like,

  334. forget you man. But they were resilient, and they had

  335. to grow resilience because they looked at him at the

  336. cross and went, liar, you said you're going to give

  337. us back the kingdom. You lie, Jesus, you lie. You're weak.

  338. The thoughts that went through everybody's mind the day Jesus

  339. hung on the cross. Nobody understood, no one, no one

  340. all scattered because we couldn't understand there it is just

  341. hung not just because he was weak. It was because

  342. he was strong, because he could say, for the sake

  343. of all mankind, I will take the cross, I will hang,

  344. I will take the sin. But everyone at that time

  345. couldn't believe it. Right. But after that they remembered, and

  346. the lot strengthened them. They turned the They turned the

  347. world right side up, probably shifted it upside down. But

  348. you know, it's hard. There will be tough times in life.

  349. But in order to dig deep on your own sometimes

  350. it's tough. But when someone comes along you and speak

  351. life out of love, kindness and sometimes the discipline to

  352. tell you, a girl, you gotta do your quiet time,

  353. what are you doing? Or oh? You know, we walk

  354. with young people with so love. We always put some

  355. you know, guidelines for them, and as you grow older,

  356. you know you don't need them anymore. You can do

  357. other stuff. Amen. But then there will be other areas

  358. in your life that will be challenge. Being more learning

  359. to be more generous, being more present, all these things,

  360. you know, getting involved in missions. You're scared. Come with

  361. me to Nepal Jing Jing Jing not that bad, but

  362. we made it home. Resilience in the midst of whatever

  363. that child might be. Now, what could that challenge be?

  364. Different ones of us will go to different circumstances. The

  365. death of a loved one too soon, parents who pass away,

  366. loss of a job, loss of a child. It's painful.

  367. Some people cannot rise up again. You know they are down.

  368. What to do? Our best support to them is prayer,

  369. love on them. But these are challenges in life. When

  370. we lose our job is very difficult for men to

  371. lose his job to look for a new job. Wow,

  372. it's tough. These are times we need to be resilient

  373. and just keep going and say, Lord, we trust you.

  374. What is it? Maybe I have to drive, gread, maybe silama, whatever,

  375. just to make them the ends meet for now? But God,

  376. what do you have next for me? Lord? I come

  377. to the altar and I surrender. Seriously, you sang that

  378. can you live it? Can you live it? You come

  379. to the altar? Come on, surrender your pride, surrender your weakness.

  380. Surrender then the Lord will raise you up. But if

  381. you refuse, then your resilience is not being built up.

  382. You're not building up. God wants us to build. That's

  383. why we dig deep so that we can grow strong.

  384. Tak Amen Jesus, say, if you hear my word, do

  385. it now? As I speak to you, I'm not speaking

  386. like that, you know, I'm speaking to my own heart.

  387. How am I being resilient in tough times? How have

  388. I dug deep? How have I allowed a lot of

  389. people to speak into my life? You know, who's your

  390. mentor who's your heart earleader husband in this case, but

  391. also my elders. While I'm your minister, they're also my elders.

  392. So if they see something, they will sometimes just one there,

  393. all right, but they tell you then you okay, life,

  394. it's true. Change change right, change? Okay, I change. I

  395. must learn to change, humble yourself and change. So that's

  396. why I want to build this with you Church. We

  397. are going to go through various tough times. The days

  398. are at our we are at our last days in

  399. a sense that we are coming to a time when

  400. as you watch Israel, that's the clock, that's your clock.

  401. You watch Israel, whatever's happening there. Wherever they go through

  402. this timing is going to shift and you want to

  403. watch that. Because resilience and times when you cannot trade

  404. with your money then how oh never mind, I just

  405. take credit card now, grega also no more take the

  406. chip than how yo? My wife no food? My child

  407. just born, no food. This is when the resilience and

  408. the trust in the lot. This is what as church

  409. we need to encourage you and teach you experience some

  410. of those things. Now, how have you prayed and say

  411. the Lord, I don't I don't have this. Would you

  412. provide for me? Lord, what's the next career change? I

  413. don't ever have you experienced that? Or are you talking

  414. to so many people? Can find your me, can find

  415. your can you recommend me. Have you said, and be

  416. still at the altar, surrender your heart, surrender and say, Lord,

  417. help me, show me, guide me, Lord, and I will

  418. wait upon the lot and give time to the Lot

  419. to teach us. Amen. So now, so this is Jesus base,

  420. is our base, our foundation. Amen. So I tot for

  421. you today, my team, My tofu is to say to you,

  422. tough times will come, but tough times won't last. Tough

  423. people do turn on. Tough times will come. Which person

  424. in our life, in our lifetime, in our people, we

  425. know they've gone through times, but they're still standing. They're

  426. still here, whether they are believe it or not believe it.

  427. Just saying that people have gone through life tough times.

  428. When I'm speaking to the beloved of the Lord this morning,

  429. to all of you, beloved of the Lord, tough times

  430. will come. So many tough times can come through your life.

  431. But will you say to yourself, Hey, it's tough, but

  432. I'm tougher because of the strength of Christ in me.

  433. I want to encourage you. Tough times will come. How

  434. do you go? My father lost everything, We lost our home,

  435. we lost all our money. He could not put me

  436. into university. Nothing I really stand that think, what do

  437. I do? I want to have a future. I can't

  438. go to union anymore. All that is gone. There was

  439. tough time for me. I'm sure it was even tougher

  440. for my dad, who could not fund me. I think

  441. he just went into depression. And maybe we don't have

  442. that word those days, no such word just lost. Yeah no,

  443. but nobody knew that word the vocabulary. When me say

  444. as a joke, you're so DeBras singly, they sn't. We

  445. never men tough times? How did we last? How did

  446. I get through in an education? Do I just cry?

  447. Sit there and there's no money and do no? We know?

  448. Let rich kids stay there and cry. We get up,

  449. We go and work worker after pm sis, just going

  450. worker work and put myself to college. No universities those days,

  451. two days or universe stilla, But is just a little

  452. thing do distant learning. Tough times will come, but tough

  453. times don't last. You are tough cookie. You are a

  454. firm tofo telling him about you are a firm tofu. Yeah.

  455. We don't want to be silken tofful of eperty on

  456. the outside and functioning right. We want to be a

  457. firm tofo tough times won't last. Tough people last. And

  458. I want to tell you how tough people can be,

  459. how you how tough you can be. My trip to Nepal,

  460. hearing and hearing from Suria old about the children and

  461. and this, and that I'm actually meeting them now, and

  462. I stand in awe that a child at six would

  463. have been given into sex trafficking, used by men, abused.

  464. Sometimes it's just abused, it's not even used. The abuse

  465. is meaning do you just burn the kid? Not just

  466. burn burn? That is good? Yeah, I feel great. So

  467. there are six. Thank God for God sends people who

  468. can save to do something right, to make a change.

  469. And the children that we met are no longer children.

  470. They are now teenagers, younger getting into twenties already. Did

  471. they go to tough times? Yes? Your body? How much

  472. abuse can it take a young girl six? Your daughter?

  473. Imagine a man another man just using that body today

  474. she's sixteen, seventeen, eighteen. Some of these faces that you saw,

  475. they're pursuing the university now, but some years back used

  476. and abused. Tell me because if it was me, if

  477. someone used my body like I think, I would rather die.

  478. But they didn't die. Tough people continue tough times for them.

  479. Imagine our children, so pressures our daughters, and they two

  480. are somebody's daughter, you know, they two are somebody's son.

  481. Seventeen eighteen. The faces that you saw never been hugged

  482. in a in the right way, in a right way.

  483. Some have had abortions. It's tough, but they're still here.

  484. They're pursuing their education. They want to have a future.

  485. All their past is what we minister too. We pray

  486. for them, We minister to them, the pastors who are

  487. working among them, the organization or the home that works

  488. with them, and keep saving, keep trying to save young

  489. people at the borders of Nepal and India. Men are evil.

  490. People are evil, The world is evil. But Jesus still

  491. came as light to bring light. So the tough times

  492. are coming. The tough times will be part of our lives.

  493. While I'm walking in the night eleven at night, as

  494. we do ministry, we come back little ones as young

  495. as as long as they can walk. Already they are

  496. still on the street, and you're thinking, why are they

  497. on the street, because they have no mom and dad.

  498. The mom and dad is probably a dog a day

  499. or lass or somewhere, and I'm thinking a young child

  500. of five and six, just hair mattered, just whatever. He's

  501. walking around talking. Then people give them not to sleep,

  502. by them whatever, But that can be taken advantage of

  503. and used. But she will survive and she will become

  504. a young adult with a very bad pass. So the

  505. work that happens in the church just there, in that

  506. particular work that we're in, is to heal them, is

  507. to bring Christ's love to them and to give them

  508. a future and a hope. So if you ask me,

  509. are you sure you're talking the right thing? Yes, Dutch.

  510. I've just seen these girls. They had tough lives, but

  511. they're still saying I want to become a teacher, I

  512. want to become an engineer. I want to study further,

  513. of course. And I gave them a pep talk on

  514. sorry life. I give on nationalism. Spirit of Nationalismam never

  515. tell me the pastor if I wants to leave the country.

  516. And I said, bro, if you got a calling, you

  517. meant to be here, stop swaying. And I told the boys,

  518. I say, boys, stop getting the girls pregnant. Just keep

  519. your little John to yourself, okay, because that's where we

  520. are at in this country. You've got so many children

  521. running around without father's fatherless generation, and then you want

  522. to leave the country and says God forsaken, And I said,

  523. this is what happened to Malaysia. Is well, I can

  524. speak with all conviction why am I still in Malaysia?

  525. Because I believe I can make a change in a

  526. small way if you leave. All the churches have lost members,

  527. you know, lost a whey because they've gone to Malaysia, America, Canada.

  528. This is all where they want to perish. My eight

  529. year old, see, what do you want to do when

  530. your I want to go to Paris? Paris? Why, oh,

  531. my cousin is there it? Your old future is Paris

  532. because money is scuss Let's go. So I can't understand

  533. the need I had to give a pepta on nationalism,

  534. a passa say you're slapping me here? I know you

  535. ask me a anceeula. I believe in God's call for you.

  536. If you're meant to be here, you're meant to be here.

  537. But if God wants you out, then he will also

  538. make a way for you. But if everyone leaves the church,

  539. no wonder the country is in that state. Who is

  540. praying for your nation. Who is building this nation? No,

  541. you're not joining politics, but what are you praying and

  542. breaking strongholds? Tough times will come, but they ain't gonna last.

  543. They ain't gonna last. And if you if you are

  544. very good at singing the song, I'm trading my sorrows.

  545. It's a great song. John, Can you say, I am

  546. pressed but not crushed, persecuted, not abandoned, strapped down but

  547. not destroyed. I am blessed me on the curse, for

  548. this promise will endure. His joy is gonna be my strength.

  549. Great song. Friends, when you sing it the next time,

  550. put yourself in a position and say, will I stand

  551. strong and resilient in the midst of the tough times.

  552. Some of our moms have stayed in a marriage that's abusive,

  553. getting real, we don't know nothing. She was crushed, she

  554. was persecuted. Some moms they stay in that marriage. I

  555. don't know. Some of the children tell me I told

  556. my mom just leave my dad lack tough times. Why

  557. don't you think that the human spirit has such a resilience.

  558. Don't you think that your spirit is so strong you

  559. don't even have time to be depressed? Friend, you tell depression,

  560. get out, Get off me. You don't have a right

  561. on my life. Get off me. I'm gonna work, even

  562. if I have to sell Nasilla mar wash plates. I

  563. will work. Get off me, depression just because I don't

  564. have a job. Get off me. Tough times will come,

  565. but I'm tougher by the grace of God, Jesus, our

  566. strong foundation. Begin to open up your hearts to the

  567. Lord and say, I am tair. I am going to

  568. a tough time lote. I don't know where to turn to. Brothers, sisters,

  569. turn first to the Lord, and let the Lord lead

  570. you to the people that will walk with you. We

  571. need to be walked with, not do life alone. These

  572. children were saved. They're not doing life alone. They have

  573. each other. You saort or if you were observing those photos,

  574. they look like happy young people, but I tell you

  575. the tears that were behind them. But because someone believed

  576. and God used them to start an orphanage, they have

  577. new lives. Some haves that ba HIV aids. But they're

  578. just living every day. And as long as I can live,

  579. I will live. But so needy, you know, always wanting

  580. to be hugged, always coming looking for attentions on of

  581. your door and say we so needy. But then I

  582. understand I'm left with aids for my God, for saken.

  583. Parents just left me. I'm like this, They're gonna tell

  584. around here, I'm my aid. I have to live, So

  585. I ask you friends. Physically people can be tough, but

  586. spiritual is what we need to be even more resilian.

  587. The spirit of your the person must be resilient. You

  588. go through the freezing, you come out. You have got

  589. a layer, layers of flexibility, a depth. You just flex yourselves.

  590. You're not Lord, okay, cannot this way. I go to Isuela.

  591. Tough people, you last, not for any other reason, but

  592. because you're founded on Christ the rock. On Christ the rock,

  593. you dip deep. Amen. Come on people, the tea on

  594. your tofos. Tough times don't last, Tough people do some

  595. one to one verse one to two sounds a little

  596. bit like what past the Julian red with us before.

  597. I don't give you a scripture anything. This person never

  598. tells me about scripture. Someone to one and one to two,

  599. he says, I will lift up my eyes to the

  600. hills for winds comes my help. My help comes from

  601. the Lord who made heaven and earth. You lift up

  602. your eyes to the heels. We lift our eyes to people,

  603. will lift our eyes to governments. Well, lift our eyes

  604. to our jobs. Where does your help come from? M

  605. I tell you none of them will help you. The

  606. Lord who made the heavens and the earth. He will

  607. lift you up. He will open away for you. He

  608. is the Lord who heals us. He is the one

  609. who will carry us through no matter what. But you

  610. need to at least give yourself chance and time to

  611. let the Lord lift you up. Amen, you lift up

  612. your eyes. When does your help come from? You? Look

  613. up to the Lord, because he is the one who

  614. makes you not only brave courageous, but trust him. I

  615. say to you, we've all been to hot times, been

  616. to hard times. What we just say on the rock

  617. and the Lord lead me, strengthen me. Amen, if you

  618. heaven't open up your eyes to see it is the

  619. Lord that I ask you, open up your eyes, your

  620. spiritual eyes, and say, Lord, help me, I am weak,

  621. I am lost. Show me how to get that help

  622. I need. Amen. The tough times will come, and I

  623. want to say to you, it's in different formats. I

  624. don't know, all right, but we want to build a

  625. firm spirit of resilience. Your tea in your tofu. Remember

  626. you are tougher than you think you are. Amen. On

  627. the o on your tofu is overcomers. We are more

  628. than overcomers. Hallelujah. We're more than conquerous. Oh. I tell you,

  629. the human spirit will always find a way. But with

  630. Christ in the vessel, you will smile at your storm.

  631. Thank God for Jesus. Amen. Every time you have a Friday,

  632. you say, thank God it's Friday, because it was a Friday.

  633. Then Jesus went to the gross and on a Sunday

  634. there was resurrection. Amen. You going through the cross, you say,

  635. never mind a Sunday, Sunday is coming. Your sound black,

  636. A Sunday is a coming. We're more than overcomers. Amen.

  637. Romans eight thirty seven gives us even that background here

  638. which says Romans eight thirty seven says, yet, so above

  639. when you read the verse, he gotta read the verses

  640. above about how you know if God is for us,

  641. who can be against us? Paul Wrights, And then verse

  642. thirty seven it says, yet in all these things we

  643. are more than conquerous. More than I needed a Oh

  644. so I use overcomers through Him who loved us. Amen,

  645. we are more than overcomers. We are more than conquerors

  646. to Him who loved us. Again, I want to say,

  647. when crisis in your life there is there is His

  648. spirit within us that makes us given us. He already

  649. done it for us. That's why he says, through Christ

  650. who loved us, we are more than conquerous. If we

  651. are going to really challenging times, we who are in

  652. Christ must cassa eye on Jesus. And my other point later,

  653. but know that you can overcome. Amen, whatever it is.

  654. I know sometimes I make it sound so light, but

  655. I'm not always in the same shoes as you are.

  656. As what you're going through. I can imagine people are

  657. going through illness that seems to be a long time there,

  658. people who have lost. My dad never got back on

  659. his feet, you know, to the back to business. He couldn't.

  660. He was very, very upset. But he served the lot.

  661. He served the lot the the day he went home

  662. to Jesus. He just served the lot and he trusted.

  663. I know he had a lot of flaws, but there

  664. was his faith. I was served the lot. He never

  665. got back. We never got back nothing. So the children

  666. had to we had to provide for our parents. But

  667. we are more than overcomers, because what is more important?

  668. My dad came to no Christ so salvation and riches,

  669. salvation and a career. Rather he come to Christ like

  670. because he was so not believing God at all. You

  671. make the choice right. We are more than overcomers. God

  672. will make the way. God will show up for us.

  673. He've done it for so many of us. But I

  674. can understand when you are going through the tough time,

  675. when you're going to how am I going to overcome this?

  676. I've got enemies on all my side, you know, the

  677. al you don't go to a long o, the bank

  678. and everything. The Lord turned it around. My father going

  679. to become a guarante, so silly he became a guarante

  680. or whatever. My mom, we just became Christian, pray and prayed,

  681. and you know, finally the never turned my dad into

  682. a bankrupt. They just lifted up the thing. If it's

  683. not for the Lord, how would we have overcome this

  684. guarantor for someone you know, so trusting my dad so trusting,

  685. could have been a bankrupt make it life more worse,

  686. La than just worset ler cannot go down and go down, Samola, right,

  687. But the Lord turn it around trying to say, we

  688. are already and overcomer. Maybe you not just see the overcoming,

  689. but you are already and overcomer. Overcome mine your heart,

  690. your body. Amen, Praise the Lord. God is indeed good,

  691. and he's good all the time. Amen. There's a verse

  692. in our First Corinthians, fifteen, verse fifty seven to fifty eight.

  693. This is Paul telling his story, and that's where the

  694. song comes from. Mactually, fifteen verse, even in verse second. Okay, Now,

  695. my First Corinthians fifteen verse what does he say here? Yeah,

  696. thanks be to God who gives us the victory through

  697. our Lord Jesus Christ. Okay, First Corinthians fifty fifteen, verse

  698. fifty seven to fifty eight. Thanks be to God. All right,

  699. it says, but thanks thanks be to God who gives

  700. us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore,

  701. my beloved brethren, be stepfast, immovable, always abounding in the

  702. work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not

  703. in vain. Amen. So my dad never got back the business,

  704. never got back to work. But he worked, but not

  705. the way he used to but you know, he served

  706. the lot fervently, went to prison ministry from the day

  707. he became started prison minstry. My father in law was

  708. involved as well. They went to prison and I said,

  709. where's your father? Every Sunday prison? Where's your dad gone

  710. to prison? Ah? My father, that ministry grew on him

  711. that when the pandemic happened, dad in My dad was

  712. in his eighties and he couldn't go to prison to minister.

  713. He was so sad. And when the door finally opened,

  714. he got to go one last time. And then they said, uncle,

  715. you know you have to pass on your ministry to

  716. other people. You can't go. You're going to get a

  717. few people to go, let the younger ones go. My

  718. dad just said, that's it. I lived for the Lord

  719. to serve him. If I can't serve the Lord, then

  720. there's no point. So my father served the Lord till

  721. the last day that he could walk. Maybe we never

  722. saw the business coming back again. But thanks be to God,

  723. Thanks be to go who gives us the victory. The

  724. victories that my trust and faith that my dad is

  725. in the Lord, he abound. He was. His faith was stepfast, immovable,

  726. always serving the Lord. Never made an excuse. My dad

  727. in his eighties was the first uncle went back to

  728. church when the church opened. And on his church, they

  729. took very long time to open law. So I think,

  730. old auntie uncle, where's I cannot come? So he said,

  731. where's all the auntie uncles? He was there and so

  732. the church. I didn't know the honor that they gave

  733. to my dad when he passed down, because this uncle

  734. was there shaking their hands, the only uncle in his

  735. above eighty. They say, you shure you're captured. He said,

  736. don't stop me from coming to church. I can't stand

  737. it anymore. Sitting at home watching the online again, not

  738. the hand. I want to go because our church open. Ler,

  739. but I said, don't come, please, don't give you trouble.

  740. But but I want to go to church. I want

  741. to go to church. And all you want to do

  742. is serve us. Show in the house of the Lord.

  743. Serve I mean, if you've seen my dad, tall, good

  744. looking in his eighties, looking younger than his eighties, he

  745. served all the way. Friends, we are more than overcome us.

  746. We have to because Christ is in us that they're

  747. your favor. There has this has this milestones that you

  748. go to life one. No, then you pass one, you

  749. go to the next one, You go to the next one.

  750. Then you look at dank. God there was tough already

  751. had not one. Jesus says, I'll be there with you.

  752. He says, what can separate us from the God's love? Amen? Well,

  753. God is there with us. We have to no matter

  754. what happens, whenever you go through what if God is

  755. for us, who can be against us? Go for Amen, Church.

  756. All our lives being saved is to serve the Lord.

  757. Are you serving the Lord? I don't know what you

  758. want to serve. Serve the Lord one way or another.

  759. Serve him. It is good. That is it makes you

  760. immovable and steadfast. Serve the Lord. Serve him until you

  761. go home. Don't stop serving the Lord because that is

  762. how you overcome. You overcome the enemy by the testimony

  763. of your faith. Amen. Don't get tired on yourself. Just

  764. serve the Lord. Whatever it is like. When are you're

  765. cooking for somebody, when you share the door, whether you

  766. are doing something that you serve the Lord. Don't serve yourself.

  767. Don't just for your own comfort. Friends, That won't bring

  768. you the tough life that will overcome the tough days

  769. come on, Hallelujah, overcome us, amen. And then the f

  770. in the tough wo is well, I have so many

  771. f's there I put the full armor and then stand full,

  772. full and from all right, full armor. Thank you Jesus

  773. for the full armor. So if you're going out there,

  774. like if you go out to war, you know of

  775. your soldier right, that's what they give you, the gun rights,

  776. anapug or whatever. I don't want to got any breastplate

  777. or righteousness, lad, but there is a full armor that

  778. God promises. It's spiritual and that's what we need. We

  779. are spirit being. We are spirit men, and all our

  780. warfare is in the spirit. My enemy is not energy man,

  781. it's a spiritual things. The devil will throw at us

  782. a lot of faery dots, and then you think, are

  783. you it's Jullian, No, it's not. You don't smile at me.

  784. They ain't too bad, all right, that's not a fairy do.

  785. The enemy will put those dots and say it's But

  786. then the Lord say, I gave you the full armor

  787. and the full armor, so that you fully equip her.

  788. You stand from amidst challenging times, because it's always spiritual

  789. in that sense. A lot of times, the things we

  790. face it is spiritual. It comes against us because the

  791. more you take ground for Jesus, the more you live

  792. for him, you're so relevant. He cannot take it. You

  793. can't take it. You you taking claim for Jesus. Yes,

  794. so he gives you all the indurance society's not ella.

  795. He give you the full almor. Beloved of the Lord,

  796. God has given you the full almor. You don't use it,

  797. you use it is there right. Ephesian chapter six. Ephesian

  798. Chapter six, eleven thirteen. Paul reminds us, Yeah, put on

  799. the full armor of God, that you may be able

  800. to stand against the wiles of the devil because verse twelve,

  801. we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. Friends, If you're

  802. going to something and he keeps coming, I stopped for

  803. a while. It's maybe it's not physical anymore. It is spiritual. Amen.

  804. You must pray, you must ask for prey covering. I

  805. think our mentality is that don't tell anyone what we're

  806. going through, because it's too shameful. But our beloved in Christ,

  807. whatever we're going through. Last few Sundays back and was

  808. preaching in KK and one of our brothers came up

  809. to share testimony. It is for I think uh or

  810. he maybe feel very shy to share, but I thought

  811. he was very courageous to share that they lost everything,

  812. made wrong choices and we had to step up to help.

  813. We all put money to help because got three children

  814. just born. One whife was old wife. You quit your job,

  815. take another job and a good job. But you know,

  816. things just got messy, and he almost took his life.

  817. I thank god when we reach out, the body of

  818. Christ comes around. He said that, thank God for my disciple.

  819. My other leader spoke to me and I stopped to

  820. share like that in churchia normal, we're Chinese. Are you

  821. sailing Boka? I ain't gone ready. I said thank you

  822. because you shared, someone in the crowd here will feel that, Wow,

  823. I'm going to this. Also, maybe I can speak to

  824. someone no, like we're going to give you money, and

  825. nobody will give you money when we have to be

  826. we'll see whether we can help you and allah. But

  827. you know or someone went from miscarriage. Why do you

  828. think I wrote the book gouse, I'm so proud I miscarriage. No,

  829. I wrote it because too many people keep quiet about

  830. the women and me at least when I had it. No,

  831. I don't know who what is this? I don't even

  832. know what it's called. I told my husband what is this?

  833. He said, I think you went to a misk because

  834. nobody speaks about it. We're always so shy, and that's

  835. what there were. Just keeps our mouth shut. The more

  836. you keep your mouth shut, the more others are going

  837. to be taken advantage of someone going through for women,

  838. I'm talking to you, really, you have warm problem. Nobody

  839. don't tell Mebody, don't tell me. You don't tell anybody?

  840. Then who want to share testimony with you? I know

  841. when I share my bleeding issue, all the men like

  842. d M I, d M I. It's TMI for you.

  843. But very well, I'll tell you every woman will go

  844. through this sickness. But when you hear another person's testiment

  845. how God heal me, then you say that's hope. We've

  846. got to be very very assured. We have full armor.

  847. We can stand firm and we can be brave in

  848. the Lord. Amen, the all in our toes, another f

  849. in our is stand firm amidst the testing. God has

  850. equipped us with a full armor. Amen, you got prayer.

  851. You got the word of God, the sword of the Spirit,

  852. Word of God. Amen. You've got the full armor, the

  853. breastplate of righteousness, your helmet of salvation, your shoes, your

  854. feet shot on the shoe of faith to go and

  855. speak the Gospel. Amen. The belt of truth. Your Wow.

  856. Your belt puts your waists intact. You stand having done

  857. all things. You stand. Wow the God where you you

  858. stand because he says, this is your full armor against

  859. the not flesh and blood, against spiritual forces and thekness.

  860. So after a while, when you are going to something,

  861. don't think it's your it's just natural. Earlier it's not.

  862. It is it is spiritually tight. You pray, you break

  863. the yokes that bind you in the name of Jesus.

  864. The power of using the name of Jesus. That's why

  865. we don't take the name of Jesus lightly. Because there's

  866. power to heal, power to save, power to deliver. That's

  867. why we don't. First of all, walk out movies. They

  868. waste time. Watch movie we did because China say Jesus bye,

  869. we all get on go. I just paid thirty dollars

  870. for the thing you walk already now you know then,

  871. how But there's a standing made because he said, if

  872. I'm gonna pray in that name for people to be healed,

  873. then I will not stand against in the midst of

  874. people who use his name in vain. So we've decided

  875. not to watch movies anymore unless it's Chinese movie. Now again,

  876. Watchuli acting, not all the Chinese movie. Don't have I

  877. look like the Chinese movie. They cannot say. I cannot

  878. say what I cannot say. Then may say Buddha. Nobody

  879. to use Buddha. Oh no, you say so unless we

  880. watch Chinese kung fu show, then maybe don't have because

  881. if they start saying that name, yeah, so then I,

  882. oh see, the world has really gone outside. So that's

  883. the name, the full armor, the whole fact is Christ.

  884. And that's why he's so particular about why I cannot

  885. stand and watch the movie constantly calling my Lord's name.

  886. Not because it's Jesus healed me. It's because Jesus, you know.

  887. So that's las we decided, no, I don't watch any

  888. movies anymore unless it's on the plane and they're on

  889. the plane or so. Once we hear dude, change change

  890. in my favorite movie, change and watch some Gina movie,

  891. Oh silo like lo boom poo bender. All right, So

  892. stand farm friends, full armor of God, God's grace on

  893. your life. You need this church. You need this message

  894. because you will have to be resilient, even resilient against

  895. people who say, Hi, are you Christiana? Ha? How are

  896. you so shy Christian? Wow? I think I was away

  897. brave So I was not so brave yet. But we'll

  898. be brave. So as you're my Master's the posside Tarbet

  899. the most is the mister cooler, that's the jack. He's

  900. always so cool. I wrote and told the teachers are

  901. very cool. Doesn't help us and he doesn't answer my

  902. evaluate evaluation. But but he always talks about God in

  903. his writings because you always share his theseus's very sharing

  904. one because I do. I don't know anything share Thank

  905. you you say I'm going to talk about God? Who

  906. starting God from whoo? It's just it's just what you know,

  907. what do you believe in? Stand for? So stand la, stand,

  908. stand firm, Stand for what you believe in, Stand firm,

  909. and and say the Lord is for me, not against me. Amen.

  910. So resilience. You may go to a lot of people

  911. may chachy. You know Mine's a word in English for

  912. chadchy insult you up for the fact you are Christian. No, no,

  913. but I prayed out. Our lives live bigger than the

  914. words that use, bigger than what we're trying to prove.

  915. I don't think we need to say much, but I

  916. think we can do. We become the doers of the wordler,

  917. then they can see the difference. Amen, You stand firm, friends,

  918. stand firm because God has equipped you and flying. Finally,

  919. the you in the Tovu you you is just unwavering faith.

  920. We need an unwaving faith. The only reason why we

  921. have an unfavor and waving faith in Christ is because

  922. He's our firm foundation. Amen. He's the rock. He's your

  923. solid rock. Ah Leelujah. Amen, you build your house on

  924. the solid rock. And you know, I want to say

  925. to us, dad's in the house, what would you what

  926. would you give to your children? What was that one

  927. thing that they're gonna remember from your dad's I prey

  928. that you will tell them that Jesus is the solid

  929. rock and you've experienced him as the solid rock in

  930. your life. Have an unwavering faith that everyone who sees

  931. you will also one that same thing you have. But

  932. we must go through now but one the tough times.

  933. Then you can test whether you have unwavering faith. Amen.

  934. We there's this spiritual resilience. You know this. Uh, the

  935. storm is gonna come. Let's say the storm is gonna come.

  936. So your resilience is while the world win is really

  937. you have to stand unwavingly in the middle of the

  938. eye of the storm and just let it pass you.

  939. Just wait, just wait on the lot, Just wait on

  940. the lot in the in the midst of the storm,

  941. instead of going, hey, why you're trying to get help

  942. from everyone. It is the Lord who helps us. Amen.

  943. And so the verse that you so familiarly know, familiarly know,

  944. said he Brew chapter twelve, verse two. And then everyone,

  945. you've heard this verse in undated in next church, we

  946. use it all the time. Is he Brew chapter twelve

  947. and verse two. He says, looking unto Jesus, as you're

  948. running this race of faith, looking unto Jesus, looking at everybody, say,

  949. looking unto unto all right, looking onto Jesus, the author

  950. and finisher of our faith. All right, he took he

  951. took the first blow for us. He was not shame,

  952. He was not a shamed to go on the cross

  953. for us. He was naked. His mother to look at

  954. him naked now in picture pain when he got nine

  955. little loincloth. But actually he was naked. He was not

  956. well to be pierced, I'm sure, and beaten and unfamiliar

  957. and cannot see your face anymore. I'm sure he had fever.

  958. I'm sure he had all kinds of whatever come brief

  959. and then nail. He despising the shame. No, that means

  960. I don't care about the shame. I take it for you.

  961. But why when you are going to all that you

  962. look on to Jesus. Another you there looking unto not

  963. look at Jesus. Huh, don't look at the cross. Let

  964. the cross hang on your neck on lye. Hello. Looking

  965. unto Jesus means you're looking for encouragement. You're looking unto

  966. not can just pass you by no observation. But looking

  967. into Jesus is too is to to to look deep,

  968. as they say, to have a focus, you rely on

  969. that strength. I'm looking unto you Lord to show me

  970. the way. Amen. I'm not just looking at you like

  971. like okay, hi, bye, go, but I'm looking and you

  972. show me the way. Oh this is how you play guitar. Okay,

  973. you know, oh this are so you're looking unto not

  974. looking at you look deeply, you look intensely. You look

  975. to rely on this Lord, the Lord who has gone

  976. before us. So then our faith becomes unwavering as we

  977. put our trust in the Lord. Amen, we put our

  978. trust in the Lord. Amen. We we we we remember constantly.

  979. What are the pictures in the Bible that reminds us

  980. King David before he was king? Remember, everybody was going

  981. to stone him when Ziglag was burned down. There's a

  982. little town or little place that they were all hiding

  983. in or made it as their home while Saul King

  984. Saul was chasing David. And then they after they they

  985. raided somewhere and you know, overcame some enemies. They came

  986. back to zig It's like coming back to Clang we

  987. burned down. Well, oh all my kids, no more, wife gone, Joe,

  988. everybody got cowsho gone ready. Oh I came back to

  989. a burned downtown and all the men who fought for him,

  990. they said, David, what are you? What did you do

  991. to us? We're gonna stone you because we lost everything

  992. and we were for you and David. I mean, it's

  993. very depressing and very painful and very I think you

  994. come to the end of yourself. No what am I

  995. going to? Everybody wanted to get get him and get

  996. rid of him. But he's the verse says David in

  997. our first Semuel thirty, verse one to six. If you read,

  998. David strengthened himself in the Lord. I really don't know

  999. how he did it, but he did it. End of

1000. the rope, his own family gone, his strong men all

1001. want to kill him because look, David, we are at

1002. lost now. I think I don't think you're worth even No, Look,

1003. we fought for you. Why is this happening to us?

1004. Then we right now? In your life you go to

1005. every bad thing, the first thing asks why Lord? Why me?

1006. How come not my neighbor? Why me? There's no time

1007. to ask why because they just say, David, we're gonna

1008. kill you, We're gonna stone you, because you're just rubbish.

1009. David had to strengthen himself. I can't imagine, because when

1010. I go to tough times sometimes I'm like I need

1011. to talk to somebody. I need to tell somebody. We

1012. din't nobody to tell. He had to tell Jesus. He

1013. had to tell the Lord then, So he says, he

1014. strengthened himself in the Lord in the midst of the storm,

1015. and the Lord just turned it around for him. But

1016. if turnaround doesn't mean like like it wasn't just like

1017. I feel as I do life. Now, I realized that

1018. I can pray in the midst of my storm, but

1019. I also have to action. No, the means I have

1020. to go up front and say, man, hold on, let

1021. me have to talk to them. You know, I have

1022. to tell them something. Wait, the Lord is with us,

1023. will you once again trust me? Wow, you have to

1024. do something. Everything that we do in the lords as

1025. you read Jerry Gowall and everything. Yes, the Lord said,

1026. I will go with you, but they all had to go.

1027. Have you read have you read vibrationally? Okay, have you

1028. read the Joshua or the Exodus? And then God will say,

1029. go into the land and get rid of all the land,

1030. the people, the cannon kites. Just destroy them because I'm

1031. giving you the promised land. I've ready given a victory.

  1032. Then they're like, my God, they're so big, I can't

1033. do it. So some of the tribes never destroyed. Never

1034. they left them there. And when they left them there,

1035. and now you have Iran shooting there. God had a

1036. beautiful plan, but they never listen. Meaning God promise you.

1037. You still have to get up and go, and then

1038. you see the lot going with you. You cannot sit

1039. there and just say God's not your servant, he's your master,

1040. and he's the miracle worker. Miracle workers song, don't sing

1041. an now you must do so. I realized even when

1042. you say God forgive me, I just made ANGI angry.

1043. After I say it, and the loss says I forgive you,

1044. it'll be okay. Do you know how it's going to

1045. be okay? It's gonna be okay when I go to

1046. ang and say and g please forgive me. Now Angie

1047. can choose to forgive me or not. But I have

1048. to walk up bravely with my head hander and don't

1049. look at her because she's take good and like, sorry, Angie,

1050. please forgive me. I'm sorry I did this, okay, yeah, yeah, okay, hallelujah,

1051. and I skip and I go up right now really,

1052. And then on Angie side, she will have to deal

1053. with it too, meaning do I really forgive her? And

1054. if she doesn't it's not my business. Take it up

1055. with the Lord. So it's a two. All of us

1056. learn one. Every one of us will learn. I've made

1057. the wrong mistake. I heard you. I have to say

1058. sorry Allah. Then I put the thing on you. So

1059. now no, you make me have to forgive you. And

1060. so you have to be resilient to forgive. And I

1061. have to be residient to ask to be forgiven. And

1062. then I have to forgive myself for the mistake that

1063. I made. See see how you dig deep me your rock,

1064. the rock Jesus Christ, who is helping you learn these lessons,

1065. so your unwaving faith is always on the rock, your

1066. firm foundation. Come on, people say I'm a firm tofo.

1067. You don't say that you're believe in la firm tofo. Yeah,

1068. I'm just saying, I'm just using tofu just to help

1069. you remember a message on Lee. I don't need to

1070. remember because I'm saying you will go through some really

1071. tough times. I want all of us to overcome. You

1072. should want me to overcome also my tough times. But

1073. it's the firm. So you think to fu, You think

1074. this message, and then all right, I was I was

1075. reaching this message another service. I'm just developing it. And

1076. then I said, hey, you don't listen, I'll take you

1077. down to Chinatown. I don't know why people always say

1078. take you down to Chinatown. And then somebody in the

1079. back they said, be good, Chinatown got tofu so funny.

1080. Somebody hurting it, and it told me I didn't hear

1081. it because everyone is laughing and say China tun to fu. Okay, yes,

1082. but that that's where we're at as we close this

1083. this morning. Not because I think though for whatever, I'm

1084. just thinking of words for you to remember when you're

1085. going through that resil the time that you need to

1086. be resilient. You need to be resilient. You must be

1087. resilient and don't despite whatever that comes away, because it's

1088. going to build your spiritual muscle. And one of your

1089. spiritual muscles is about being resilient. Another spiritual muscle is

1090. about being forgiving. Another spiritual muscles about being generous. These

1091. are all muscles that we build. You don't use it,

  1092. it won't work. I'm sure you'll have a message for

1093. you later because dad muscles, but not using the muscle

1094. is dead. Now not do visio. Same thing in our

1095. faith must exercise the different areas of our spirit so

1096. that it becomes strong, and so that we are on

1097. the rock. We must know we have we are listening

1098. to God's word, but we must act on it. Amen,

1099. we must act on it. So we're gonna pray church

1100. and and really be firm torfus for the Lord. For yourself? Amen,

1101. are you blessing this money? Well, I think it's a

1102. great message love by myself. I can encourage myself. I

1103. think God and thank God, it's so good. You always

1104. choose ways to help us to grow. Amen. And and

1105. I want to encourage you. And I also go to

1106. tough times. It could be, as I say, I may

1107. not know what you are going through. As I said,

1108. some people have loss of a loved one, a sickness

1109. that has been you know, really bugging them, a family situation,

1110. a financial breakdown. You know you're trying to understand what's

1111. going on your marriage. Oh your child, that's difficult, Oh

1112. oh my business, don't know why ladd my partner? Lad this? Wow.

1113. Sometimes it's a stormer come together and no storm of

1114. no money. Then storms they all come together. They are

1115. all friends. So you yeah, Sonny, if you'll come fear, honey,

1116. come then hunger, so come then and hunger come then?

1117. Are you no money or so come there all come together? No,

1118. Then you think what is going on rey this when

1119. you say this is not natural anymore. This is not

1120. flesh and blood. This is spiritual and it is from

1121. the pit of hell, and I'm not going to receive it.

1122. I'm gonna tell depression, I'm gonna tell fear get off

1123. my back. Get off my back, because you cannot take

1124. over my life. Jesus is in control of my life.

1125. If you remember and know that Jesus is in control

1126. of your life, friends, then you will not be shaken.

1127. Then you don't have to ask why. Stop asking why?

1128. Enough ready, because nobody gonna answer you. Who can answer you? No,

1129. no answer? Why? Just say praise the Lord, Praise. I

1130. don't need a reason. But my life is in the

1131. hands of the Lord. Therefore He will have to make

1132. a way for me. Amen. Amen, and our friends. You

1133. just got to take God at his word. Hallelujah. I

1134. don't know how to tell you that God is dependable,

1135. that you have to be resilient. God gives you that

1136. spirit to be resilient. Hallelujah. I have to say to

1137. you one of our sisters and not just she lost

1138. her father and her mother. And then I said, how girl,

1139. And you know what she told me, only child fast.

1140. God has to take care of me. I said, really, so,

1141. what are you gonna do? He'll take care of me. Well,

1142. God's taken care of her mm hmm, help her settle

1143. her debts, got her job. I won't say, moll, tell

1144. you what it is. What I can see God taking

1145. care of this offer. Wow, you said, eating stand and

1146. graveling there and saying, oh, I want to eat some worms.

1147. She just said God's gonna have to take care of me.

1148. She knew the word amen. So you must believe that

1149. your life is in God's hand. So whether you get

1150. the promotion or not, you have to believe that God

1151. knows when n issue could come, whether we you know,

1152. if it's something I can do, Yes, improve all that

1153. we can do. But at the end of the day,

1154. who are you really anchoring your life? Who's your firm foundation?

1155. I praise Jesus loved Amen.

1156. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1157. information on our church, please visit as Church Org. We

1159. this week is going to be a good week ahead

  1160. for you.

  1161. God bless
