You're listening to a message to go from Axs Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
So I want to share with you on this topic.
-
Actually the topic is just building a strong spiritual resilience. Okay,
-
building strong, being resilient. We are walking in days that
-
are just really you know, more challenging, more and more challenging.
-
Life is going to be more challenging, not only for us,
-
for our children. Even in universities now, education educators now
-
are looking into developing our our students not only in
-
the academic but in being able to face the changing,
-
evolving world that's just changing really quickly. Now, can we
-
send our young graduates out who will be not just
-
you know, having all the a's, but not having the
-
character to take it, not having the values, not being
-
able to be a just adaptable. They're not They're not resilient.
-
And so universities have noticed this and many of our
-
schools and universities are now introducing what they call twenty
-
first century learning skills to help the children develop and
-
we want them to be more than just you know,
-
very clever. So parents, don't just think about the a's
-
and scholl your teacher for you want my children to
-
get a you do life with more than an a
-
you do life because of good character, good values, and
-
strong emotionally. This is what we're building in students today
-
in school good schools at least. Yeah. There, that's that's
-
the focus now. So I'm able to say it because
-
I'm studying master's in education and these are I'm not
-
even a teacher, so I'm quite quite quiet most of
-
the time. I'm just listening to other people. And I
-
realized that's what we've been doing as a church. That's
-
what we've been talking about building character, men and women
-
of character and having But for us, we have Christ
-
in us, amen. And and so the challenge for all
-
of us, while we have Christ, we sometimes might forget
-
that we do have the edge, and we must, you know,
-
take up the cross, and we have to learn what
-
God has given to us so that we can be resilient.
-
We're all families, all our individuals, we all as young people,
-
as older people, we will have different, different challenges. So
-
in order to bring this message to you and so
-
that you can remember it for a lifetime, I'm so
-
hopefully that you remember for a lifetime, I bring you
-
the humble tofu. We wrong direction, a kopagie, I bring
-
you the humble tofo. Do we like tofu? People?
-
Now?
-
Some people like tofu, however, you know form, they cook
-
it in put whatever. This is the silken tofu, and
-
sometimes we eat it like this the next picture you know,
-
just yah, see how and oil and then we you're
-
hungry already I'm very hungry. So that's the silken. And
-
you know it's very very soft, right, it's just like
-
you know you you will it will break into pieces, right,
-
but it's by itself. It's lovely. And if you like
-
tofula if you're like, you know, this is soy and
-
so one of the things about tofu is that in
-
its natural form when you buy it, it is as
-
it's like it's full of water. It's soft, and it
-
will break very easily. So we candle it quite gently,
-
so quite put trilli liant. But have you ever frozen
-
your tofu? Have you? Have you cooked frozen tofu? So
-
some people have never some people have. But you can
-
freeze your tofu? Not Oh if you freeze your do
-
what will it turn out like? After that? So I
-
learned that since I buy tofu and I don't cook
-
it on time because I'm too busy, but an hour
-
I have to stay at home and cook three meals.
-
So throw it into the freezer, all right. And something
-
happens to your tofu and you throw it into the freeze.
-
So there's some scientific thing that happens to it. But anyway,
-
after you freeze your tour food is what you get
-
to dang frozen tofo all right, So yeah, look at
-
all can you see the little holes? Yeah, it looks
-
like a like a sponge right the front. Yeah, that's
-
what happens your tofu after you freeze it. So the
-
so what happens is when you freeze your tofu, the
-
tofu has water inside, right, so the water becomes ice crystals.
-
So they so they become ice crystals. Then the crystals
-
will push all these protein fat structures and all the protein.
-
Your chemistry to draw the line all these protein structure,
-
so they push push, push, and and it changes the
-
slightly the structure. And what happens is once it thurs out,
-
the holes come about because the ice crystals already melted.
-
Then it and then and then it becomes more two
-
years and and you can even sqush the water out.
-
So I've done this, So I get the press and
-
press and press and all the water comes out, and
-
then you can fry it. You can boil it, you
-
can barbecue, you can make curry with it. It won't
-
break so easily. This is the silken to for the
-
softer fool. There's hard to food, the harder ones. There's
-
tought food pop. But I'm not just taking today. This
-
kind of soft ful, softer, not the hat to. There's
-
a hat to fool. So there's a softer fool. So
-
so something happens to the tofu. The structure slightly changes,
-
and then it's not so delicate ready long and it's
-
more resilient. You know. You can fry it around and
-
it can, it can, it cannot. It can the hand
-
and it can absorb more flavor, so it's more flavor ful. Yeah,
-
I can try it. I tried it all right, so
-
it's fit for frying, for grilling. You make salad. Ah, okay, okay,
-
you're gonna try it a few times something you get
-
the hang of it. Any try ones. But I like
-
to food that is frozen and then pause out can
-
chew a yeah it's nice, right, So I so this Tofo.
-
When you think about it, something changed the result of
-
it stop. It stops being so delicate. And they say
-
that some little bit of structure changes, La. I mean
-
it doesn't change that the fact it is still soy based,
-
but it becomes a bit more resilient, resilient, and it
-
takes a now can take Mola can take more challenge
-
Lave than a Frank challenge, Bubecula grilling, laming in the
-
super so it won't break, Okay. So I feel like
-
our lives are like that. Amen, So I bring you
-
the Tofu. I bring you Tofu to bring you a
-
message of resilience, all right, so that you can remember
-
when you go through your challenges. But how do I
-
how will I bring this message to you? So let's
-
look first at the scripture in which I want to
-
base it on, and then we'll go to Tofu, all right.
-
Matthew chapter seven, Matthew chapter seven, verse twenty four to
-
twenty seven, or just verse twenty four twenty five. Yeah,
-
we want to look at what Jesus said. Now, Jesus
-
said here in Matthew twenty So if you're got your Bible,
-
we're still promoting printed bibles by the way, I haven't
-
been here to promote this. By your bibles. By your bibles.
-
One day you won't have a bible and normal WiFi.
-
You cannot use your Bible on your phone. So anyway,
-
by your bibles, bi bibles, all right, something to give
-
to your children one day. Okay, all right, if you
-
have bibles, turn to the scripture, or you have your
-
e bibles. Turn the scripture and let's look at it.
-
It says, yeah, Jesus is. Therefore, whoever hears these sayings
-
of mine or these words of mine and does them,
-
everybody say, does them? Okay, when you do them, I
-
will liken him to a wise man. Tell your neighbor,
-
wise man, wise man, all right, you're a wise man
-
when you do. You're a wise man who built his
-
house on the rock. And the rock is not Dane Johnson.
-
The rock is Jesus, by the way, all right, No done, Johnson,
-
The rock is Jesus. Here. And the rain descended, and
-
the floods came, and the wind's blue the tree little
-
pig's house. No, and the rain descended, The floods came,
-
the wind's blue, and the bit on that house, and
-
it did not fall for it was founded on the rock. Amen,
-
on the rock. So if you don't hear the words,
-
and when the winds come, the house will fall because
-
you built it on sandy ground. But today I want
-
to look at the rock, Amen, which is Jesus. We
-
want to be able to see how we can build.
-
Listen is one thing to do, is another thing to apply. Amen.
-
So if you apply God's word, if you listen and
-
you apply, you're a wise man. Amen, and you have
-
your wise man, you will build your life on the
-
solid rock Jesus Christ. Too many times we might build
-
our lives and teach our children to build their lives
-
on their career, and so you're focusing on their career paths.
-
Please go here, go there, change his job. Change the
-
job that is not solid. The only thing that is
-
solid and will never change is Jesus. We just sang,
-
We just worship and told the Lord that you are
-
the one who is faithful. Amen, you Lord, We praise
-
you because we overcome all the time. Amen. So Jesus,
-
this is our solid rock, your life being built. Just
-
just planting like that is not good enough. We gotta
-
dig deep. And how do we dig deep in our lives?
-
Is when you go through challenges two or not? Which
-
parent here has a baby? You have a baby before? Okay, Karen,
-
you have two children? Really right? I think when first
-
time parenter first timer and geed your your child? Shit? Opinion?
-
Are you are? You? Are you do? Fool like? Are you? Don't?
-
Don't don't let no, don't don't don't let them eat
-
sand of course not let them eat sand. I know
-
because I have a friend like that. Don't don't the
-
leg at the beach. Hello, you took to the beach.
-
It's gonna have touched sand. Ride don't touch it? And
-
what what half walking with? Ut? What? Don't touch? I
-
cannot say. After she eats and eat sand? La, your
-
child grows strong. You know a child that's kept clean
-
for it. Don't touch here, Wipe here a hundred times,
-
wipe sanitary sanitars. There is no way he's gonna build
-
his immunity. Come on, you are you want a very
-
good strong stomach? Go to India. You go to India
-
one time. I went in there one time, like everyone
-
who's been in there, diarrhea. I don't know what is
-
in the water. I really don't know. You drinking when
-
you got that water water. No, I guess our host,
-
why what still can get diarrheal? But I tell you
-
the bacteria in the diet that causes you diarrheal. No
-
medication outside of India can heal you. Uhha. Only medicine
-
in India can heal you. I tell you a law
-
of medication is made the generic. It's made in India.
-
Ha ha ha. So once you canna in there, you cannot
-
already that say you'll be strong forever. See I went
-
on Nepar came like no dirreea no. Every day eat
-
Albert Dulbert Dulbert every day, eat the rice and friends.
-
Life cannot be lived like we're all just to fool,
-
you know, delicate, because then your child grow up like tofoola.
-
I am not that kind of parent, although I'm not parented,
-
but parented your teens. Okay, No, I don't give face one.
-
I don't give Okay, you don't get some hard times,
-
you will become to fool. You don't let your child
-
get dirty. How are you sick? Sick? It's not a
-
bad thing, Thank God. Your body tell you you're sick.
-
Now you can get better. And then some bacteria because
-
I don't know how immunity your system and your body
-
begins to grow those I don't know, good bacteria. I
-
don't know. I'm not a doctor. Okay, all these things happen.
-
Your body gets strong immunity. So life is like that.
-
We will go through that, same for our children, same
-
as adults. I just find people who want your baby
-
to be so clean forever. I don't know. No immunity,
-
No immunity, isn't it forever sick? So now forever sick
-
then can be immunity. So we have to be patient, patient,
-
patient are you? Because I got stuff every day? But
-
the emergency live one hundred times? You Emergency live. You
-
need to work my full time and to work every time.
-
My child sicken? Leave okay, next day, is still sick
-
next day? And mind you, I hire them by person
-
or no husband, my husband and my husband. No work done. No,
-
these are your pastor's lam. Okay. But what to do?
-
Gonna seek means build strong immunity. No, it's okay, it's okay,
-
all right. I think we all have to go through
-
this in life. So when we be on the rock,
-
to go deeper, you have to dig deep. Yeah, and
-
to dig deep in your life. You have to go
-
to challenges. No challenge, no gain lay right, same same.
-
You don't take exams. You don't know what it is
-
to study. Really, you don't take exactly. You don't know
-
how well you know. You don't get some challenge of
-
you know, making how to make friends? Oh, these are
-
life skills. You cannot protect your child forever, you cannot
-
protect yourself whatever. You just have to go and face
-
hitler and then all that's within you is gonna rise up.
-
It's gonna show you what you have or what you
-
don't have. And if you don't have it, you just
-
learn it, and you learn it, you get through it. Amen. Amen.
-
So in teaching, if you're teaching, say no, I said
-
Bible rent teachers. You want to have an end product.
-
You have to have a process, and a lot of
-
us want to run away from the process. Right, you
-
want to have a since how I tell them girls,
-
you're marry y'all? I want a ten? Men? Oh yeah,
-
you think you get a ten? Now, no way. You
-
may be a two. But you know if he's gonna
-
be a ten, he'll get that because of you. Your
-
marriage builds each other arm. Then you become the ten. Intent,
-
and he won't ten Maybe now's ten are not then
-
I also don't know it. But when you build, you
-
go through the hard knocks, you grow. The process is painful,
-
but there will be an outcome. In our prayers, believers
-
in Christ follow us of Christ. That outcome is that
-
there will be a change. And when that changes, we
-
know we've learned something. We've learned to be forgiving. We've
-
learned to be patient. In the process of doing marriage.
-
We learn to say sorry so hard, that the process
-
very hot all but no process, no outcome. In education,
-
the same thing. You don't take your students through it.
-
What kind of product you want to a you can
-
don't get an ala. You don't go through this, you
-
don't learn, you don't do the projects, you don't have
-
that No, no change. They still don't know. But if
-
you want to know whether you've learned patience, men go
-
through the process. So cheers to all the moms and
-
dad's husbands and wives here haha, welcome to your world. Amen,
-
this is your heavenly will, your dream will ha? Well,
-
marriage like that one like that? Look yeah, then you're
-
in the same are fifty years after a while, you
-
just close two ice before marriage. I tell all of them, No,
-
I know, ex cherch you Alsa passes and better like
-
you think what I want to save you from your
-
graveleg you marry wrong men, wrong woman. That's it. You
-
tell me marriage is like hell, I know because you
-
don't listen. I'm not being strict. I'm being caring. Open eyes,
-
see see everything, pray, go into it right because you
-
don't go in like tofu looking very nice on the outside.
-
Then suddenly when hard times come, no need need to
-
go through some freezing, go through some freezing ridge freezing
-
because we want to grow. See, in order to grow,
-
we have a process. Our child born to get to
-
be able to walk, you have to crawl, and you
-
know they will fall down sometimes. How come in life
-
you can take the natural. How about your spiritual is parallel.
-
If you are baby, you start to walk, you crawl first,
-
and then you fall a bit and you start walking.
-
Then it looks like they're going from here to here,
-
you know, and they're gonna drop. But they drop. They're
-
not the head you see, you do, not here or
-
your panic. Right now, we used to take care of
-
my god daughter of our fall down pound husbands say
-
why you drop the girl. I didn't drop the god.
-
She drops child math your god child you right. So
-
there's this process. There is the building up and strengthening
-
of the natural person. You're spiritual also like that. We
-
want you and I to be resilient. Spiritual resilience is
-
so that we can take the long marathon and not
-
die halfway and say I give up my faith. I
-
didn't say I do want Jesus anymore. It's too hard.
-
I want the way that this way is so much easier.
-
Easy doesn't mean eternity. White road doesn't mean eternal life.
-
Narrow road tough. Are you facing the same person? Give
-
me a hard time, but you persevere, perseverance, going through
-
the process. Let the process take its time, Let it go.
-
Let the process go through that. The tofu has to
-
go through the freezing. Only we can see the holes
-
later and then it becomes nice and spongy and absorb
-
the flavor and can fry and barbecue and grill and
-
make sell it. Yay. That's who we want to be
-
resilient in the times when it's tough. Amen. So the
-
rock our resilience can only come because we take root,
-
we listen, and then we do God's what we listen
-
and we do and we go deeper. That's why discipleship
-
this year when we launch, not that we haven't been
-
doing discipleship all these twenty five years in x we
-
have been the reason why we have the leaders that
-
we have is because they have just given themselves to
-
be disciples. If we did not disciple, we let anything.
-
You wan't do anything, no rules, nor routine, nothing not,
-
we will become dau fu silkn thaufu. The church will
-
not function. We can't plant the way we plant churches.
-
We send out sons and daughters to plant churches all
-
across the globe. There are sons and daughters. We didn't
-
send somebody we don't know, and we said no, And
-
when we did, we got into trouble. Because you go deep.
-
Your life is taking the depth as you are discipled.
-
Jesus said, follow me. I will make you fishes of men.
-
But before you become the fishes of men you are
-
you follow him. Oh that's how you fish. Oh that's
-
how you do it, Jesus. Oh, Jesus, that's harsh. Get
-
deep behind me, Satan. He's calling, Peter, get deep behind me, Satan.
-
My word, you would have left your ready, do not,
-
Daniel Radley, I come and say, get deep behind me.
-
What are you calling me? What? Wow? Jesus is harsh man,
-
he's your pastor. You and I did really we're like,
-
forget you man. But they were resilient, and they had
-
to grow resilience because they looked at him at the
-
cross and went, liar, you said you're going to give
-
us back the kingdom. You lie, Jesus, you lie. You're weak.
-
The thoughts that went through everybody's mind the day Jesus
-
hung on the cross. Nobody understood, no one, no one
-
all scattered because we couldn't understand there it is just
-
hung not just because he was weak. It was because
-
he was strong, because he could say, for the sake
-
of all mankind, I will take the cross, I will hang,
-
I will take the sin. But everyone at that time
-
couldn't believe it. Right. But after that they remembered, and
-
the lot strengthened them. They turned the They turned the
-
world right side up, probably shifted it upside down. But
-
you know, it's hard. There will be tough times in life.
-
But in order to dig deep on your own sometimes
-
it's tough. But when someone comes along you and speak
-
life out of love, kindness and sometimes the discipline to
-
tell you, a girl, you gotta do your quiet time,
-
what are you doing? Or oh? You know, we walk
-
with young people with so love. We always put some
-
you know, guidelines for them, and as you grow older,
-
you know you don't need them anymore. You can do
-
other stuff. Amen. But then there will be other areas
-
in your life that will be challenge. Being more learning
-
to be more generous, being more present, all these things,
-
you know, getting involved in missions. You're scared. Come with
-
me to Nepal Jing Jing Jing not that bad, but
-
we made it home. Resilience in the midst of whatever
-
that child might be. Now, what could that challenge be?
-
Different ones of us will go to different circumstances. The
-
death of a loved one too soon, parents who pass away,
-
loss of a job, loss of a child. It's painful.
-
Some people cannot rise up again. You know they are down.
-
What to do? Our best support to them is prayer,
-
love on them. But these are challenges in life. When
-
we lose our job is very difficult for men to
-
lose his job to look for a new job. Wow,
-
it's tough. These are times we need to be resilient
-
and just keep going and say, Lord, we trust you.
-
What is it? Maybe I have to drive, gread, maybe silama, whatever,
-
just to make them the ends meet for now? But God,
-
what do you have next for me? Lord? I come
-
to the altar and I surrender. Seriously, you sang that
-
can you live it? Can you live it? You come
-
to the altar? Come on, surrender your pride, surrender your weakness.
-
Surrender then the Lord will raise you up. But if
-
you refuse, then your resilience is not being built up.
-
You're not building up. God wants us to build. That's
-
why we dig deep so that we can grow strong.
-
Tak Amen Jesus, say, if you hear my word, do
-
it now? As I speak to you, I'm not speaking
-
like that, you know, I'm speaking to my own heart.
-
How am I being resilient in tough times? How have
-
I dug deep? How have I allowed a lot of
-
people to speak into my life? You know, who's your
-
mentor who's your heart earleader husband in this case, but
-
also my elders. While I'm your minister, they're also my elders.
-
So if they see something, they will sometimes just one there,
-
all right, but they tell you then you okay, life,
-
it's true. Change change right, change? Okay, I change. I
-
must learn to change, humble yourself and change. So that's
-
why I want to build this with you Church. We
-
are going to go through various tough times. The days
-
are at our we are at our last days in
-
a sense that we are coming to a time when
-
as you watch Israel, that's the clock, that's your clock.
-
You watch Israel, whatever's happening there. Wherever they go through
-
this timing is going to shift and you want to
-
watch that. Because resilience and times when you cannot trade
-
with your money then how oh never mind, I just
-
take credit card now, grega also no more take the
-
chip than how yo? My wife no food? My child
-
just born, no food. This is when the resilience and
-
the trust in the lot. This is what as church
-
we need to encourage you and teach you experience some
-
of those things. Now, how have you prayed and say
-
the Lord, I don't I don't have this. Would you
-
provide for me? Lord, what's the next career change? I
-
don't ever have you experienced that? Or are you talking
-
to so many people? Can find your me, can find
-
your can you recommend me. Have you said, and be
-
still at the altar, surrender your heart, surrender and say, Lord,
-
help me, show me, guide me, Lord, and I will
-
wait upon the lot and give time to the Lot
-
to teach us. Amen. So now, so this is Jesus base,
-
is our base, our foundation. Amen. So I tot for
-
you today, my team, My tofu is to say to you,
-
tough times will come, but tough times won't last. Tough
-
people do turn on. Tough times will come. Which person
-
in our life, in our lifetime, in our people, we
-
know they've gone through times, but they're still standing. They're
-
still here, whether they are believe it or not believe it.
-
Just saying that people have gone through life tough times.
-
When I'm speaking to the beloved of the Lord this morning,
-
to all of you, beloved of the Lord, tough times
-
will come. So many tough times can come through your life.
-
But will you say to yourself, Hey, it's tough, but
-
I'm tougher because of the strength of Christ in me.
-
I want to encourage you. Tough times will come. How
-
do you go? My father lost everything, We lost our home,
-
we lost all our money. He could not put me
-
into university. Nothing I really stand that think, what do
-
I do? I want to have a future. I can't
-
go to union anymore. All that is gone. There was
-
tough time for me. I'm sure it was even tougher
-
for my dad, who could not fund me. I think
-
he just went into depression. And maybe we don't have
-
that word those days, no such word just lost. Yeah no,
-
but nobody knew that word the vocabulary. When me say
-
as a joke, you're so DeBras singly, they sn't. We
-
never men tough times? How did we last? How did
-
I get through in an education? Do I just cry?
-
Sit there and there's no money and do no? We know?
-
Let rich kids stay there and cry. We get up,
-
We go and work worker after pm sis, just going
-
worker work and put myself to college. No universities those days,
-
two days or universe stilla, But is just a little
-
thing do distant learning. Tough times will come, but tough
-
times don't last. You are tough cookie. You are a
-
firm tofo telling him about you are a firm tofu. Yeah.
-
We don't want to be silken tofful of eperty on
-
the outside and functioning right. We want to be a
-
firm tofo tough times won't last. Tough people last. And
-
I want to tell you how tough people can be,
-
how you how tough you can be. My trip to Nepal,
-
hearing and hearing from Suria old about the children and
-
and this, and that I'm actually meeting them now, and
-
I stand in awe that a child at six would
-
have been given into sex trafficking, used by men, abused.
-
Sometimes it's just abused, it's not even used. The abuse
-
is meaning do you just burn the kid? Not just
-
burn burn? That is good? Yeah, I feel great. So
-
there are six. Thank God for God sends people who
-
can save to do something right, to make a change.
-
And the children that we met are no longer children.
-
They are now teenagers, younger getting into twenties already. Did
-
they go to tough times? Yes? Your body? How much
-
abuse can it take a young girl six? Your daughter?
-
Imagine a man another man just using that body today
-
she's sixteen, seventeen, eighteen. Some of these faces that you saw,
-
they're pursuing the university now, but some years back used
-
and abused. Tell me because if it was me, if
-
someone used my body like I think, I would rather die.
-
But they didn't die. Tough people continue tough times for them.
-
Imagine our children, so pressures our daughters, and they two
-
are somebody's daughter, you know, they two are somebody's son.
-
Seventeen eighteen. The faces that you saw never been hugged
-
in a in the right way, in a right way.
-
Some have had abortions. It's tough, but they're still here.
-
They're pursuing their education. They want to have a future.
-
All their past is what we minister too. We pray
-
for them, We minister to them, the pastors who are
-
working among them, the organization or the home that works
-
with them, and keep saving, keep trying to save young
-
people at the borders of Nepal and India. Men are evil.
-
People are evil, The world is evil. But Jesus still
-
came as light to bring light. So the tough times
-
are coming. The tough times will be part of our lives.
-
While I'm walking in the night eleven at night, as
-
we do ministry, we come back little ones as young
-
as as long as they can walk. Already they are
-
still on the street, and you're thinking, why are they
-
on the street, because they have no mom and dad.
-
The mom and dad is probably a dog a day
-
or lass or somewhere, and I'm thinking a young child
-
of five and six, just hair mattered, just whatever. He's
-
walking around talking. Then people give them not to sleep,
-
by them whatever, But that can be taken advantage of
-
and used. But she will survive and she will become
-
a young adult with a very bad pass. So the
-
work that happens in the church just there, in that
-
particular work that we're in, is to heal them, is
-
to bring Christ's love to them and to give them
-
a future and a hope. So if you ask me,
-
are you sure you're talking the right thing? Yes, Dutch.
-
I've just seen these girls. They had tough lives, but
-
they're still saying I want to become a teacher, I
-
want to become an engineer. I want to study further,
-
of course. And I gave them a pep talk on
-
sorry life. I give on nationalism. Spirit of Nationalismam never
-
tell me the pastor if I wants to leave the country.
-
And I said, bro, if you got a calling, you
-
meant to be here, stop swaying. And I told the boys,
-
I say, boys, stop getting the girls pregnant. Just keep
-
your little John to yourself, okay, because that's where we
-
are at in this country. You've got so many children
-
running around without father's fatherless generation, and then you want
-
to leave the country and says God forsaken, And I said,
-
this is what happened to Malaysia. Is well, I can
-
speak with all conviction why am I still in Malaysia?
-
Because I believe I can make a change in a
-
small way if you leave. All the churches have lost members,
-
you know, lost a whey because they've gone to Malaysia, America, Canada.
-
This is all where they want to perish. My eight
-
year old, see, what do you want to do when
-
your I want to go to Paris? Paris? Why, oh,
-
my cousin is there it? Your old future is Paris
-
because money is scuss Let's go. So I can't understand
-
the need I had to give a pepta on nationalism,
-
a passa say you're slapping me here? I know you
-
ask me a anceeula. I believe in God's call for you.
-
If you're meant to be here, you're meant to be here.
-
But if God wants you out, then he will also
-
make a way for you. But if everyone leaves the church,
-
no wonder the country is in that state. Who is
-
praying for your nation. Who is building this nation? No,
-
you're not joining politics, but what are you praying and
-
breaking strongholds? Tough times will come, but they ain't gonna last.
-
They ain't gonna last. And if you if you are
-
very good at singing the song, I'm trading my sorrows.
-
It's a great song. John, Can you say, I am
-
pressed but not crushed, persecuted, not abandoned, strapped down but
-
not destroyed. I am blessed me on the curse, for
-
this promise will endure. His joy is gonna be my strength.
-
Great song. Friends, when you sing it the next time,
-
put yourself in a position and say, will I stand
-
strong and resilient in the midst of the tough times.
-
Some of our moms have stayed in a marriage that's abusive,
-
getting real, we don't know nothing. She was crushed, she
-
was persecuted. Some moms they stay in that marriage. I
-
don't know. Some of the children tell me I told
-
my mom just leave my dad lack tough times. Why
-
don't you think that the human spirit has such a resilience.
-
Don't you think that your spirit is so strong you
-
don't even have time to be depressed? Friend, you tell depression,
-
get out, Get off me. You don't have a right
-
on my life. Get off me. I'm gonna work, even
-
if I have to sell Nasilla mar wash plates. I
-
will work. Get off me, depression just because I don't
-
have a job. Get off me. Tough times will come,
-
but I'm tougher by the grace of God, Jesus, our
-
strong foundation. Begin to open up your hearts to the
-
Lord and say, I am tair. I am going to
-
a tough time lote. I don't know where to turn to. Brothers, sisters,
-
turn first to the Lord, and let the Lord lead
-
you to the people that will walk with you. We
-
need to be walked with, not do life alone. These
-
children were saved. They're not doing life alone. They have
-
each other. You saort or if you were observing those photos,
-
they look like happy young people, but I tell you
-
the tears that were behind them. But because someone believed
-
and God used them to start an orphanage, they have
-
new lives. Some haves that ba HIV aids. But they're
-
just living every day. And as long as I can live,
-
I will live. But so needy, you know, always wanting
-
to be hugged, always coming looking for attentions on of
-
your door and say we so needy. But then I
-
understand I'm left with aids for my God, for saken.
-
Parents just left me. I'm like this, They're gonna tell
-
around here, I'm my aid. I have to live, So
-
I ask you friends. Physically people can be tough, but
-
spiritual is what we need to be even more resilian.
-
The spirit of your the person must be resilient. You
-
go through the freezing, you come out. You have got
-
a layer, layers of flexibility, a depth. You just flex yourselves.
-
You're not Lord, okay, cannot this way. I go to Isuela.
-
Tough people, you last, not for any other reason, but
-
because you're founded on Christ the rock. On Christ the rock,
-
you dip deep. Amen. Come on people, the tea on
-
your tofos. Tough times don't last, Tough people do some
-
one to one verse one to two sounds a little
-
bit like what past the Julian red with us before.
-
I don't give you a scripture anything. This person never
-
tells me about scripture. Someone to one and one to two,
-
he says, I will lift up my eyes to the
-
hills for winds comes my help. My help comes from
-
the Lord who made heaven and earth. You lift up
-
your eyes to the heels. We lift our eyes to people,
-
will lift our eyes to governments. Well, lift our eyes
-
to our jobs. Where does your help come from? M
-
I tell you none of them will help you. The
-
Lord who made the heavens and the earth. He will
-
lift you up. He will open away for you. He
-
is the Lord who heals us. He is the one
-
who will carry us through no matter what. But you
-
need to at least give yourself chance and time to
-
let the Lord lift you up. Amen, you lift up
-
your eyes. When does your help come from? You? Look
-
up to the Lord, because he is the one who
-
makes you not only brave courageous, but trust him. I
-
say to you, we've all been to hot times, been
-
to hard times. What we just say on the rock
-
and the Lord lead me, strengthen me. Amen, if you
-
heaven't open up your eyes to see it is the
-
Lord that I ask you, open up your eyes, your
-
spiritual eyes, and say, Lord, help me, I am weak,
-
I am lost. Show me how to get that help
-
I need. Amen. The tough times will come, and I
-
want to say to you, it's in different formats. I
-
don't know, all right, but we want to build a
-
firm spirit of resilience. Your tea in your tofu. Remember
-
you are tougher than you think you are. Amen. On
-
the o on your tofu is overcomers. We are more
-
than overcomers. Hallelujah. We're more than conquerous. Oh. I tell you,
-
the human spirit will always find a way. But with
-
Christ in the vessel, you will smile at your storm.
-
Thank God for Jesus. Amen. Every time you have a Friday,
-
you say, thank God it's Friday, because it was a Friday.
-
Then Jesus went to the gross and on a Sunday
-
there was resurrection. Amen. You going through the cross, you say,
-
never mind a Sunday, Sunday is coming. Your sound black,
-
A Sunday is a coming. We're more than overcomers. Amen.
-
Romans eight thirty seven gives us even that background here
-
which says Romans eight thirty seven says, yet, so above
-
when you read the verse, he gotta read the verses
-
above about how you know if God is for us,
-
who can be against us? Paul Wrights, And then verse
-
thirty seven it says, yet in all these things we
-
are more than conquerous. More than I needed a Oh
-
so I use overcomers through Him who loved us. Amen,
-
we are more than overcomers. We are more than conquerors
-
to Him who loved us. Again, I want to say,
-
when crisis in your life there is there is His
-
spirit within us that makes us given us. He already
-
done it for us. That's why he says, through Christ
-
who loved us, we are more than conquerous. If we
-
are going to really challenging times, we who are in
-
Christ must cassa eye on Jesus. And my other point later,
-
but know that you can overcome. Amen, whatever it is.
-
I know sometimes I make it sound so light, but
-
I'm not always in the same shoes as you are.
-
As what you're going through. I can imagine people are
-
going through illness that seems to be a long time there,
-
people who have lost. My dad never got back on
-
his feet, you know, to the back to business. He couldn't.
-
He was very, very upset. But he served the lot.
-
He served the lot the the day he went home
-
to Jesus. He just served the lot and he trusted.
-
I know he had a lot of flaws, but there
-
was his faith. I was served the lot. He never
-
got back. We never got back nothing. So the children
-
had to we had to provide for our parents. But
-
we are more than overcomers, because what is more important?
-
My dad came to no Christ so salvation and riches,
-
salvation and a career. Rather he come to Christ like
-
because he was so not believing God at all. You
-
make the choice right. We are more than overcomers. God
-
will make the way. God will show up for us.
-
He've done it for so many of us. But I
-
can understand when you are going through the tough time,
-
when you're going to how am I going to overcome this?
-
I've got enemies on all my side, you know, the
-
al you don't go to a long o, the bank
-
and everything. The Lord turned it around. My father going
-
to become a guarante, so silly he became a guarante
-
or whatever. My mom, we just became Christian, pray and prayed,
-
and you know, finally the never turned my dad into
-
a bankrupt. They just lifted up the thing. If it's
-
not for the Lord, how would we have overcome this
-
guarantor for someone you know, so trusting my dad so trusting,
-
could have been a bankrupt make it life more worse,
-
La than just worset ler cannot go down and go down, Samola, right,
-
But the Lord turn it around trying to say, we
-
are already and overcomer. Maybe you not just see the overcoming,
-
but you are already and overcomer. Overcome mine your heart,
-
your body. Amen, Praise the Lord. God is indeed good,
-
and he's good all the time. Amen. There's a verse
-
in our First Corinthians, fifteen, verse fifty seven to fifty eight.
-
This is Paul telling his story, and that's where the
-
song comes from. Mactually, fifteen verse, even in verse second. Okay, Now,
-
my First Corinthians fifteen verse what does he say here? Yeah,
-
thanks be to God who gives us the victory through
-
our Lord Jesus Christ. Okay, First Corinthians fifty fifteen, verse
-
fifty seven to fifty eight. Thanks be to God. All right,
-
it says, but thanks thanks be to God who gives
-
us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And therefore,
-
my beloved brethren, be stepfast, immovable, always abounding in the
-
work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not
-
in vain. Amen. So my dad never got back the business,
-
never got back to work. But he worked, but not
-
the way he used to but you know, he served
-
the lot fervently, went to prison ministry from the day
-
he became started prison minstry. My father in law was
-
involved as well. They went to prison and I said,
-
where's your father? Every Sunday prison? Where's your dad gone
-
to prison? Ah? My father, that ministry grew on him
-
that when the pandemic happened, dad in My dad was
-
in his eighties and he couldn't go to prison to minister.
-
He was so sad. And when the door finally opened,
-
he got to go one last time. And then they said, uncle,
-
you know you have to pass on your ministry to
-
other people. You can't go. You're going to get a
-
few people to go, let the younger ones go. My
-
dad just said, that's it. I lived for the Lord
-
to serve him. If I can't serve the Lord, then
-
there's no point. So my father served the Lord till
-
the last day that he could walk. Maybe we never
-
saw the business coming back again. But thanks be to God,
-
Thanks be to go who gives us the victory. The
-
victories that my trust and faith that my dad is
-
in the Lord, he abound. He was. His faith was stepfast, immovable,
-
always serving the Lord. Never made an excuse. My dad
-
in his eighties was the first uncle went back to
-
church when the church opened. And on his church, they
-
took very long time to open law. So I think,
-
old auntie uncle, where's I cannot come? So he said,
-
where's all the auntie uncles? He was there and so
-
the church. I didn't know the honor that they gave
-
to my dad when he passed down, because this uncle
-
was there shaking their hands, the only uncle in his
-
above eighty. They say, you shure you're captured. He said,
-
don't stop me from coming to church. I can't stand
-
it anymore. Sitting at home watching the online again, not
-
the hand. I want to go because our church open. Ler,
-
but I said, don't come, please, don't give you trouble.
-
But but I want to go to church. I want
-
to go to church. And all you want to do
-
is serve us. Show in the house of the Lord.
-
Serve I mean, if you've seen my dad, tall, good
-
looking in his eighties, looking younger than his eighties, he
-
served all the way. Friends, we are more than overcome us.
-
We have to because Christ is in us that they're
-
your favor. There has this has this milestones that you
-
go to life one. No, then you pass one, you
-
go to the next one, You go to the next one.
-
Then you look at dank. God there was tough already
-
had not one. Jesus says, I'll be there with you.
-
He says, what can separate us from the God's love? Amen? Well,
-
God is there with us. We have to no matter
-
what happens, whenever you go through what if God is
-
for us, who can be against us? Go for Amen, Church.
-
All our lives being saved is to serve the Lord.
-
Are you serving the Lord? I don't know what you
-
want to serve. Serve the Lord one way or another.
-
Serve him. It is good. That is it makes you
-
immovable and steadfast. Serve the Lord. Serve him until you
-
go home. Don't stop serving the Lord because that is
-
how you overcome. You overcome the enemy by the testimony
-
of your faith. Amen. Don't get tired on yourself. Just
-
serve the Lord. Whatever it is like. When are you're
-
cooking for somebody, when you share the door, whether you
-
are doing something that you serve the Lord. Don't serve yourself.
-
Don't just for your own comfort. Friends, That won't bring
-
you the tough life that will overcome the tough days
-
come on, Hallelujah, overcome us, amen. And then the f
-
in the tough wo is well, I have so many
-
f's there I put the full armor and then stand full,
-
full and from all right, full armor. Thank you Jesus
-
for the full armor. So if you're going out there,
-
like if you go out to war, you know of
-
your soldier right, that's what they give you, the gun rights,
-
anapug or whatever. I don't want to got any breastplate
-
or righteousness, lad, but there is a full armor that
-
God promises. It's spiritual and that's what we need. We
-
are spirit being. We are spirit men, and all our
-
warfare is in the spirit. My enemy is not energy man,
-
it's a spiritual things. The devil will throw at us
-
a lot of faery dots, and then you think, are
-
you it's Jullian, No, it's not. You don't smile at me.
-
They ain't too bad, all right, that's not a fairy do.
-
The enemy will put those dots and say it's But
-
then the Lord say, I gave you the full armor
-
and the full armor, so that you fully equip her.
-
You stand from amidst challenging times, because it's always spiritual
-
in that sense. A lot of times, the things we
-
face it is spiritual. It comes against us because the
-
more you take ground for Jesus, the more you live
-
for him, you're so relevant. He cannot take it. You
-
can't take it. You you taking claim for Jesus. Yes,
-
so he gives you all the indurance society's not ella.
-
He give you the full almor. Beloved of the Lord,
-
God has given you the full almor. You don't use it,
-
you use it is there right. Ephesian chapter six. Ephesian
-
Chapter six, eleven thirteen. Paul reminds us, Yeah, put on
-
the full armor of God, that you may be able
-
to stand against the wiles of the devil because verse twelve,
-
we don't wrestle against flesh and blood. Friends, If you're
-
going to something and he keeps coming, I stopped for
-
a while. It's maybe it's not physical anymore. It is spiritual. Amen.
-
You must pray, you must ask for prey covering. I
-
think our mentality is that don't tell anyone what we're
-
going through, because it's too shameful. But our beloved in Christ,
-
whatever we're going through. Last few Sundays back and was
-
preaching in KK and one of our brothers came up
-
to share testimony. It is for I think uh or
-
he maybe feel very shy to share, but I thought
-
he was very courageous to share that they lost everything,
-
made wrong choices and we had to step up to help.
-
We all put money to help because got three children
-
just born. One whife was old wife. You quit your job,
-
take another job and a good job. But you know,
-
things just got messy, and he almost took his life.
-
I thank god when we reach out, the body of
-
Christ comes around. He said that, thank God for my disciple.
-
My other leader spoke to me and I stopped to
-
share like that in churchia normal, we're Chinese. Are you
-
sailing Boka? I ain't gone ready. I said thank you
-
because you shared, someone in the crowd here will feel that, Wow,
-
I'm going to this. Also, maybe I can speak to
-
someone no, like we're going to give you money, and
-
nobody will give you money when we have to be
-
we'll see whether we can help you and allah. But
-
you know or someone went from miscarriage. Why do you
-
think I wrote the book gouse, I'm so proud I miscarriage. No,
-
I wrote it because too many people keep quiet about
-
the women and me at least when I had it. No,
-
I don't know who what is this? I don't even
-
know what it's called. I told my husband what is this?
-
He said, I think you went to a misk because
-
nobody speaks about it. We're always so shy, and that's
-
what there were. Just keeps our mouth shut. The more
-
you keep your mouth shut, the more others are going
-
to be taken advantage of someone going through for women,
-
I'm talking to you, really, you have warm problem. Nobody
-
don't tell Mebody, don't tell me. You don't tell anybody?
-
Then who want to share testimony with you? I know
-
when I share my bleeding issue, all the men like
-
d M I, d M I. It's TMI for you.
-
But very well, I'll tell you every woman will go
-
through this sickness. But when you hear another person's testiment
-
how God heal me, then you say that's hope. We've
-
got to be very very assured. We have full armor.
-
We can stand firm and we can be brave in
-
the Lord. Amen, the all in our toes, another f
-
in our is stand firm amidst the testing. God has
-
equipped us with a full armor. Amen, you got prayer.
-
You got the word of God, the sword of the Spirit,
-
Word of God. Amen. You've got the full armor, the
-
breastplate of righteousness, your helmet of salvation, your shoes, your
-
feet shot on the shoe of faith to go and
-
speak the Gospel. Amen. The belt of truth. Your Wow.
-
Your belt puts your waists intact. You stand having done
-
all things. You stand. Wow the God where you you
-
stand because he says, this is your full armor against
-
the not flesh and blood, against spiritual forces and thekness.
-
So after a while, when you are going to something,
-
don't think it's your it's just natural. Earlier it's not.
-
It is it is spiritually tight. You pray, you break
-
the yokes that bind you in the name of Jesus.
-
The power of using the name of Jesus. That's why
-
we don't take the name of Jesus lightly. Because there's
-
power to heal, power to save, power to deliver. That's
-
why we don't. First of all, walk out movies. They
-
waste time. Watch movie we did because China say Jesus bye,
-
we all get on go. I just paid thirty dollars
-
for the thing you walk already now you know then,
-
how But there's a standing made because he said, if
-
I'm gonna pray in that name for people to be healed,
-
then I will not stand against in the midst of
-
people who use his name in vain. So we've decided
-
not to watch movies anymore unless it's Chinese movie. Now again,
-
Watchuli acting, not all the Chinese movie. Don't have I
-
look like the Chinese movie. They cannot say. I cannot
-
say what I cannot say. Then may say Buddha. Nobody
-
to use Buddha. Oh no, you say so unless we
-
watch Chinese kung fu show, then maybe don't have because
-
if they start saying that name, yeah, so then I,
-
oh see, the world has really gone outside. So that's
-
the name, the full armor, the whole fact is Christ.
-
And that's why he's so particular about why I cannot
-
stand and watch the movie constantly calling my Lord's name.
-
Not because it's Jesus healed me. It's because Jesus, you know.
-
So that's las we decided, no, I don't watch any
-
movies anymore unless it's on the plane and they're on
-
the plane or so. Once we hear dude, change change
-
in my favorite movie, change and watch some Gina movie,
-
Oh silo like lo boom poo bender. All right, So
-
stand farm friends, full armor of God, God's grace on
-
your life. You need this church. You need this message
-
because you will have to be resilient, even resilient against
-
people who say, Hi, are you Christiana? Ha? How are
-
you so shy Christian? Wow? I think I was away
-
brave So I was not so brave yet. But we'll
-
be brave. So as you're my Master's the posside Tarbet
-
the most is the mister cooler, that's the jack. He's
-
always so cool. I wrote and told the teachers are
-
very cool. Doesn't help us and he doesn't answer my
-
evaluate evaluation. But but he always talks about God in
-
his writings because you always share his theseus's very sharing
-
one because I do. I don't know anything share Thank
-
you you say I'm going to talk about God? Who
-
starting God from whoo? It's just it's just what you know,
-
what do you believe in? Stand for? So stand la, stand,
-
stand firm, Stand for what you believe in, Stand firm,
-
and and say the Lord is for me, not against me. Amen.
-
So resilience. You may go to a lot of people
-
may chachy. You know Mine's a word in English for
-
chadchy insult you up for the fact you are Christian. No, no,
-
but I prayed out. Our lives live bigger than the
-
words that use, bigger than what we're trying to prove.
-
I don't think we need to say much, but I
-
think we can do. We become the doers of the wordler,
-
then they can see the difference. Amen, You stand firm, friends,
-
stand firm because God has equipped you and flying. Finally,
-
the you in the Tovu you you is just unwavering faith.
-
We need an unwaving faith. The only reason why we
-
have an unfavor and waving faith in Christ is because
-
He's our firm foundation. Amen. He's the rock. He's your
-
solid rock. Ah Leelujah. Amen, you build your house on
-
the solid rock. And you know, I want to say
-
to us, dad's in the house, what would you what
-
would you give to your children? What was that one
-
thing that they're gonna remember from your dad's I prey
-
that you will tell them that Jesus is the solid
-
rock and you've experienced him as the solid rock in
-
your life. Have an unwavering faith that everyone who sees
-
you will also one that same thing you have. But
-
we must go through now but one the tough times.
-
Then you can test whether you have unwavering faith. Amen.
-
We there's this spiritual resilience. You know this. Uh, the
-
storm is gonna come. Let's say the storm is gonna come.
-
So your resilience is while the world win is really
-
you have to stand unwavingly in the middle of the
-
eye of the storm and just let it pass you.
-
Just wait, just wait on the lot, Just wait on
-
the lot in the in the midst of the storm,
-
instead of going, hey, why you're trying to get help
-
from everyone. It is the Lord who helps us. Amen.
-
And so the verse that you so familiarly know, familiarly know,
-
said he Brew chapter twelve, verse two. And then everyone,
-
you've heard this verse in undated in next church, we
-
use it all the time. Is he Brew chapter twelve
-
and verse two. He says, looking unto Jesus, as you're
-
running this race of faith, looking unto Jesus, looking at everybody, say,
-
looking unto unto all right, looking onto Jesus, the author
-
and finisher of our faith. All right, he took he
-
took the first blow for us. He was not shame,
-
He was not a shamed to go on the cross
-
for us. He was naked. His mother to look at
-
him naked now in picture pain when he got nine
-
little loincloth. But actually he was naked. He was not
-
well to be pierced, I'm sure, and beaten and unfamiliar
-
and cannot see your face anymore. I'm sure he had fever.
-
I'm sure he had all kinds of whatever come brief
-
and then nail. He despising the shame. No, that means
-
I don't care about the shame. I take it for you.
-
But why when you are going to all that you
-
look on to Jesus. Another you there looking unto not
-
look at Jesus. Huh, don't look at the cross. Let
-
the cross hang on your neck on lye. Hello. Looking
-
unto Jesus means you're looking for encouragement. You're looking unto
-
not can just pass you by no observation. But looking
-
into Jesus is too is to to to look deep,
-
as they say, to have a focus, you rely on
-
that strength. I'm looking unto you Lord to show me
-
the way. Amen. I'm not just looking at you like
-
like okay, hi, bye, go, but I'm looking and you
-
show me the way. Oh this is how you play guitar. Okay,
-
you know, oh this are so you're looking unto not
-
looking at you look deeply, you look intensely. You look
-
to rely on this Lord, the Lord who has gone
-
before us. So then our faith becomes unwavering as we
-
put our trust in the Lord. Amen, we put our
-
trust in the Lord. Amen. We we we we remember constantly.
-
What are the pictures in the Bible that reminds us
-
King David before he was king? Remember, everybody was going
-
to stone him when Ziglag was burned down. There's a
-
little town or little place that they were all hiding
-
in or made it as their home while Saul King
-
Saul was chasing David. And then they after they they
-
raided somewhere and you know, overcame some enemies. They came
-
back to zig It's like coming back to Clang we
-
burned down. Well, oh all my kids, no more, wife gone, Joe,
-
everybody got cowsho gone ready. Oh I came back to
-
a burned downtown and all the men who fought for him,
-
they said, David, what are you? What did you do
-
to us? We're gonna stone you because we lost everything
-
and we were for you and David. I mean, it's
-
very depressing and very painful and very I think you
-
come to the end of yourself. No what am I
-
going to? Everybody wanted to get get him and get
-
rid of him. But he's the verse says David in
-
our first Semuel thirty, verse one to six. If you read,
-
David strengthened himself in the Lord. I really don't know
-
how he did it, but he did it. End of
-
the rope, his own family gone, his strong men all
-
want to kill him because look, David, we are at
-
lost now. I think I don't think you're worth even No, Look,
-
we fought for you. Why is this happening to us?
-
Then we right now? In your life you go to
-
every bad thing, the first thing asks why Lord? Why me?
-
How come not my neighbor? Why me? There's no time
-
to ask why because they just say, David, we're gonna
-
kill you, We're gonna stone you, because you're just rubbish.
-
David had to strengthen himself. I can't imagine, because when
-
I go to tough times sometimes I'm like I need
-
to talk to somebody. I need to tell somebody. We
-
din't nobody to tell. He had to tell Jesus. He
-
had to tell the Lord then, So he says, he
-
strengthened himself in the Lord in the midst of the storm,
-
and the Lord just turned it around for him. But
-
if turnaround doesn't mean like like it wasn't just like
-
I feel as I do life. Now, I realized that
-
I can pray in the midst of my storm, but
-
I also have to action. No, the means I have
-
to go up front and say, man, hold on, let
-
me have to talk to them. You know, I have
-
to tell them something. Wait, the Lord is with us,
-
will you once again trust me? Wow, you have to
-
do something. Everything that we do in the lords as
-
you read Jerry Gowall and everything. Yes, the Lord said,
-
I will go with you, but they all had to go.
-
Have you read have you read vibrationally? Okay, have you
-
read the Joshua or the Exodus? And then God will say,
-
go into the land and get rid of all the land,
-
the people, the cannon kites. Just destroy them because I'm
-
giving you the promised land. I've ready given a victory.
-
Then they're like, my God, they're so big, I can't
-
do it. So some of the tribes never destroyed. Never
-
they left them there. And when they left them there,
-
and now you have Iran shooting there. God had a
-
beautiful plan, but they never listen. Meaning God promise you.
-
You still have to get up and go, and then
-
you see the lot going with you. You cannot sit
-
there and just say God's not your servant, he's your master,
-
and he's the miracle worker. Miracle workers song, don't sing
-
an now you must do so. I realized even when
-
you say God forgive me, I just made ANGI angry.
-
After I say it, and the loss says I forgive you,
-
it'll be okay. Do you know how it's going to
-
be okay? It's gonna be okay when I go to
-
ang and say and g please forgive me. Now Angie
-
can choose to forgive me or not. But I have
-
to walk up bravely with my head hander and don't
-
look at her because she's take good and like, sorry, Angie,
-
please forgive me. I'm sorry I did this, okay, yeah, yeah, okay, hallelujah,
-
and I skip and I go up right now really,
-
And then on Angie side, she will have to deal
-
with it too, meaning do I really forgive her? And
-
if she doesn't it's not my business. Take it up
-
with the Lord. So it's a two. All of us
-
learn one. Every one of us will learn. I've made
-
the wrong mistake. I heard you. I have to say
-
sorry Allah. Then I put the thing on you. So
-
now no, you make me have to forgive you. And
-
so you have to be resilient to forgive. And I
-
have to be residient to ask to be forgiven. And
-
then I have to forgive myself for the mistake that
-
I made. See see how you dig deep me your rock,
-
the rock Jesus Christ, who is helping you learn these lessons,
-
so your unwaving faith is always on the rock, your
-
firm foundation. Come on, people say I'm a firm tofo.
-
You don't say that you're believe in la firm tofo. Yeah,
-
I'm just saying, I'm just using tofu just to help
-
you remember a message on Lee. I don't need to
-
remember because I'm saying you will go through some really
-
tough times. I want all of us to overcome. You
-
should want me to overcome also my tough times. But
-
it's the firm. So you think to fu, You think
-
this message, and then all right, I was I was
-
reaching this message another service. I'm just developing it. And
-
then I said, hey, you don't listen, I'll take you
-
down to Chinatown. I don't know why people always say
-
take you down to Chinatown. And then somebody in the
-
back they said, be good, Chinatown got tofu so funny.
-
Somebody hurting it, and it told me I didn't hear
-
it because everyone is laughing and say China tun to fu. Okay, yes,
-
but that that's where we're at as we close this
-
this morning. Not because I think though for whatever, I'm
-
just thinking of words for you to remember when you're
-
going through that resil the time that you need to
-
be resilient. You need to be resilient. You must be
-
resilient and don't despite whatever that comes away, because it's
-
going to build your spiritual muscle. And one of your
-
spiritual muscles is about being resilient. Another spiritual muscle is
-
about being forgiving. Another spiritual muscles about being generous. These
-
are all muscles that we build. You don't use it,
-
it won't work. I'm sure you'll have a message for
-
you later because dad muscles, but not using the muscle
-
is dead. Now not do visio. Same thing in our
-
faith must exercise the different areas of our spirit so
-
that it becomes strong, and so that we are on
-
the rock. We must know we have we are listening
-
to God's word, but we must act on it. Amen,
-
we must act on it. So we're gonna pray church
-
and and really be firm torfus for the Lord. For yourself? Amen,
-
are you blessing this money? Well, I think it's a
-
great message love by myself. I can encourage myself. I
-
think God and thank God, it's so good. You always
-
choose ways to help us to grow. Amen. And and
-
I want to encourage you. And I also go to
-
tough times. It could be, as I say, I may
-
not know what you are going through. As I said,
-
some people have loss of a loved one, a sickness
-
that has been you know, really bugging them, a family situation,
-
a financial breakdown. You know you're trying to understand what's
-
going on your marriage. Oh your child, that's difficult, Oh
-
oh my business, don't know why ladd my partner? Lad this? Wow.
-
Sometimes it's a stormer come together and no storm of
-
no money. Then storms they all come together. They are
-
all friends. So you yeah, Sonny, if you'll come fear, honey,
-
come then hunger, so come then and hunger come then?
-
Are you no money or so come there all come together? No,
-
Then you think what is going on rey this when
-
you say this is not natural anymore. This is not
-
flesh and blood. This is spiritual and it is from
-
the pit of hell, and I'm not going to receive it.
-
I'm gonna tell depression, I'm gonna tell fear get off
-
my back. Get off my back, because you cannot take
-
over my life. Jesus is in control of my life.
-
If you remember and know that Jesus is in control
-
of your life, friends, then you will not be shaken.
-
Then you don't have to ask why. Stop asking why?
-
Enough ready, because nobody gonna answer you. Who can answer you? No,
-
no answer? Why? Just say praise the Lord, Praise. I
-
don't need a reason. But my life is in the
-
hands of the Lord. Therefore He will have to make
-
a way for me. Amen. Amen, and our friends. You
-
just got to take God at his word. Hallelujah. I
-
don't know how to tell you that God is dependable,
-
that you have to be resilient. God gives you that
-
spirit to be resilient. Hallelujah. I have to say to
-
you one of our sisters and not just she lost
-
her father and her mother. And then I said, how girl,
-
And you know what she told me, only child fast.
-
God has to take care of me. I said, really, so,
-
what are you gonna do? He'll take care of me. Well,
-
God's taken care of her mm hmm, help her settle
-
her debts, got her job. I won't say, moll, tell
-
you what it is. What I can see God taking
-
care of this offer. Wow, you said, eating stand and
-
graveling there and saying, oh, I want to eat some worms.
-
She just said God's gonna have to take care of me.
-
She knew the word amen. So you must believe that
-
your life is in God's hand. So whether you get
-
the promotion or not, you have to believe that God
-
knows when n issue could come, whether we you know,
-
if it's something I can do, Yes, improve all that
-
we can do. But at the end of the day,
-
who are you really anchoring your life? Who's your firm foundation?
-
I praise Jesus loved Amen.
