So a relations Chapter three, I just give you a

bit of introduct introduction very quick. One is that it's

about the seven churches. Okay, So Jesus writes a letter

to the seven churches. You're like, how does Jesus write

letter to the seven churches? Does Jesus have a Gmail

or all? You know? He has not as a Gmail.

He has more something more powerful. Okay. He doesn't use

the Google server. Okay, he used his own server. Okay,

his servant. Okay. The server is his servant, John the Apostle. Okay. Oh,

they just came out, right, they just came out. Okay.

He doesn't use any server. He used his servant. Use

people directly, okay. So the servant is John the Apostle. Okay,

John received direct from Jesus. Okay, you can't go through

any server. Sometimes think a disconnect one. Okay, John the

Apostle was in the island of pet Moss and he

receives a vision okay from Jesus. Okay, and Jesus of

all things he could talk about. You could talk about

world politics, you could talk about different things. You talk

about his life, but Jesus choose to talk about the

churches they are around in UH in Asia minor uh,

the old churches they are planting, okay, and so as

it gives uh them these uh letters. When we read it,

you start to realize that it's quite I would say,

I want to say the world. I want to say

it's scary. But when I say it's scary, doesn't mean

to scare you in a way that you run away,

but to scare you that there is to know that

there is a heavenly reality in your life. You don't

say what I'm saying. No, it's like not sometimes when

you go through very difficult things or very shocking things

are that you start, whoa, there's more to life. I

might see, like, you know, when we're hearing the testimony

about you know, hey, accidents happened two weeks ago. I'm sure,

like everything happens so fast right order the car accidents,

and I was like, whoa, this could have been very bad.

You know, really, by God's grace that Lord has preserved

you and all the passengers in the chis by really

by God's grace. And then when you thinks like that happened.

Now you start to really realize that, wow, what is

this all meaning? It always takes things like that to

shake us, you know, and you start to realize whoa

what is it? You are terrified, But it also wakes

you up to a reality that you never really emphasize

about as well. And so when Jesus writes this letter,

it's also a warning and also a wake up call

to the churches as well. Imagine if Jesus is here

and he writes a letter to you individually, what do

you think Jesus would write to you about. By the way,

the prayer that you asked from me, you know, to

so and so, the prayer that you ask for me.

You want to buy a new tesla, you know that

one will be delayed. Oh, By the way, you've been

prayed a lot that because you haven't studied. You want

to pass this exam. By the way, my advice is

that you better start studying, you know, you know what

I mean. Right By the way that you've been praying

that your parent will give you a higher allowance. I

think you better not watch your finances, you know, things

like that. You know, you know, what do you think

that Jesus will write to you about what do you

really really believe? Do you really believe that Jesus will

write to you. Actually, Jesus don't have to write to you. You know,

He has given us the Holy Spirit. You know, you

know what I'm saying now. He has given us the

Holy Spirit so that he can speak to you. Okay,

so more than just hen speak to you, so that

you can hear from him. Instead, you're hearing too much

from your handphone. Okay, so let's read okay X Chapters Revelations,

chapter three, verse one till verse six. Now, verse one says,

and to the Angel. Oh sorry, verse seven, let's read

verse seven seven. Okay, we start with the other church. Okay,

verse seven and to the Angel of the church in Philadelphia. Right,

these things says He who is holy, he who is true,

he who has the key of David, he who opens

and no one shuts and shuts and no one opens. Wow,

look at it, It's like what this is so deep man,

so twisting and winding. Just bear with me, Okay, I

know your works. See I've set before you and open

door and no one can shut it. For you have

a little strength. Have kept my word and have did not,

have not denied my name. Indeed, I will make those

of the Synagogue of Satan. Okay, underlying that, those of

the Synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews and

are not but lie, Indeed, I will make them come

and worship before your feet, and to know that I

have loved you because you have kept my command to persevere.

I also will keep you from the hour trial which

come upon the whole world to test those who dwell

on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly. Hold fast

what you have, that no one may take your crown.

He who overcomes, I will make him appeller in the

temple of my God, and he shall go out no more.

I will write on him the name of my God

and the name of the city of my God, the

New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God.

And I will write on him my new name. He

who is an ear, let him hear what the Spirit

says to the churches. Wow, how many of you find

it a bit confusing? Be honest, Yeah, there's a lot

of things. Okay, how many of you want to understand

it a bit better? Yeah, okay, let's let's understand this. Wait, better,

let's unpack this a bit more. Okay, Now, the city

of Philadelphia is not in America. Okay, how many of

you when you think about what was the first thing

that comes to your mind when you think about Philadelphia? Cheese? Cheese?

Is that all? What else? What else? Basketball? Sixers? What else?

What else? What else? Many think of Philadelphia? Baseball? What

else do you think about? She? Do you know that

the first Bible was printed there? The major food Bible

was actually printed there. The Gutuham Bible here actually not

the first Bible. I mean say, they actually have the

first Bible museum. The first Bible museum actually was there

and in the Gutenham in the Gutaham Library there. So

they have they many many Bibles there in Philadelphia. But

that is not the Philadelphia we were talking about. There's

another Philadelphia okay, up in Europe there. Okay, it's a

Turkey area. Okay, Now, what does Philadelphia actually mean? What

does Phililadelphia? I mean? It's not cheese, Please don't think please,

it's not cheese. Okay. Philadelphia comes from the root word filo. Okay,

much you heard of the word filo before? Sounds so miniliar, really, right,

why it's philo. Philo is one of the loves. Okay,

you have different loves. You know, it's not just people

just say I love you. But if you go into

a study of languages, right love, actually they are you know,

they will actually subcategory categorize different types of love. Okay, Uh,

there is like, for example, phileo love. Sorry, ah, there's

one kind of uh eros love. Have you heard eros love?

So that's where you get the word erotic which is

sensual love, the love based on a person's sensus on it.

It's called eroslove, erotic love. Then you have the philo.

Phileo is friendship love. It's not related to sensual but

I care, I know, I know, I know the brotherlyder

We are bonded by a common value or a goal

or your maybe you're a teammates, maybe you went to war,

maybe you're buind together. You have a love and your

sense of committee. Then the other love is a got

pei love, a got pet love, which is the love

that only comes from God, which is the unconditional love.

You get what I'm saying, unconditional love. That is the

kind of love that you only can give when someone

belongs to you. You get mean right. It's like my

love for my son is not any kind of love,

but it is a love that a father can have.

It is not because my children, when before they came out,

I take a bit of a long check list. You know,

I want my son to be brown hair, big eyes,

past all my SPM results. You know, when he come out,

he become a doctor. When I when I'm fifty sixty

or old, he will give me passive incoming or already.

Then he become my son. How many of you qualified

to become your father's or mother's children? Did you think?

And you that no, right, you just popped out right?

But hi mom, Hi dad the other day, and then

they become a mini testmin and dev He didn't do

anything to deserve to come out. It's it. But yet,

when you came out, your parents loved you except for

who you are, and they will never trade you for

anyone else. Some parents might do that, but never trade

you for anyone else. You know why, because there is

no replacement for who you are, how good you are,

how big you are, You are only you, and be

more importantly is because you belong to them. He's my son,

my daughter. No one else can replace you give me

the smartest boy, smartest girl. I don't care. I want

my son because that son belongs to you. It's amazing,

isn't it that there's no other reason. It's not because

my son is smarter. My somn is more, you know, No,

he's my son. And so we all have this sense

of belonging that that receives these loves from our parents.

But more importantly, this love came from God. God loves

you not because you are smarter, not because you came

out and woke up in the morning to hear. God

loves you simply because you belong to him. Makes sense

or not? So if you never believe that whether God

loves you because you're a bad boy and already God

loves you because you belong to him. Nothing you ever

did deserve his love, but He created you. He loves

you now. He loves you, But whether you please him

is another thing you don't say. I'm saying, ah, that's

why sometimes you have children and have children. I have

two kids, okay, I have an older daughter fifteen year

old and a twelve year old son. I love them,

but do I get displeased with them? Of course, like

for example, last time they eat dinner, they forgot to

clean up that. This pleases me very much, you get

away my love. But on the daily is they can

do things that displease me very much. So don't confuse

God's love and whether He's pleased with you. If ever

you come and say I don't want to come because

I feel not love by God. That's the lie of

he still wants you in his house. And that's what

I'm saying. Not so a lot of people believe in

the wrong lie. Okay, Okay, now it's a very important thing.

Oh right now, So I was talking talking about Okay, Philadelphia.

So Philadelphia comes from the word Philo. Okay, so it

means brotherly love. Is the city of brotherly love. Okay.

Now I need to explain a bit about the city

of Philadelphia, Okay, a bit more so that when you

read through the letter it gives a bit more context.

Philadelphia is a very powerful city, okay. And the economy

of the city was driven by one thing. And you

know what is it? You know, every city is driven

by something. What is so Minian known for? Bind me?

How are you you people come for Parma? Is that

the thing that drives economy? Durian Duriana coconut shore? What

is why it's so million known for? I know nee

light is industry? Okay? Huh lend the house? Uh okay,

backbone economy of Philadelphia? Grapes? Grapes. They have beautiful vineyards, vignyards.

Do you know another city also has also beautiful grapes.

You know which city was there nearby that place? The

city of Rome. Rome also had very beautiful grapes. In fact,

if you go to some high and supermarkets, some they

might sell Roman grapes. Have you heard before? Very big bright,

not the Japanese kind of one. Now they say Roman grapes,

you know, a big, faded but big one or some

of You're gonna go online and check. Ready, Roman grapes

already huge, big ones in all they are known for it, okay.

And so Rome and Philadelphia were actually fighting, you know,

to be so people are to be to be the

best grape producer, the great best vinyards as well. Okay.

So Rome has a lot of vineyards. They were known

for it. And then one day Rome decided to tell Philadelphia,

I want you to pluck out take away all your

vineyards so that people will never fight confused who is better?

Rome will always be better. And so because of that,

and they felt very rejected and betrayed, very betrayed by

the emperor. There was one of the main histories. Okay,

So that and because of that they felt very betrayed

by the emperor. They harder together. You see what I'm saying.

You know, when you when a girl, people feel betrayed

by somebody, they get tighter because they are bonded by

the common hate, common betrayal as well. So be very

careful as well. Sometimes people want to get closer. You

are tighten you, not because they're like you, but because

they want you to be in the same common cause

with them as well. So they are very very tight together. Now,

so the community was very tight. Nobody can get in

and get out very very very easily. Okay, And so

now let us go a bit further. Okay, then it's sayasier.

In the following verse, these things says he who is holy,

he who is true, he who has the key of davy,

he who opens and one shots and shots and no

one opens. Let's stop there. So who is Jesus talking about? He?

Jesus is talking about him? Now, why did Jesus says

he who he is holy, he who is the key?

Because this is the format of a letter, you say.

When you write a letter, or when you write an agreement,

you need to declare who you are. And that's what

I am Jesus. No, he declares because Jesus is divine.

He's not human. He's not just a name. He is

the manifestation of a lot of power and authority. He

is not just about the past. He is about the

present and also the future. So when God reveals himself,

he cannot just reveal like a human being. He reveals

himself as a divine being. You get what I'm saying now.

And so when you write a letter or when you

write agreement, especially when you're right rental agreement, purchase agreement,

you will see like oh maybe like uh ben saw

and so I see number you stay in this place

in all bam bam bumpu, and then you buy the

purchaser you got there. Always must declare mine who you are, okay,

So that you declare yourself to the authority, I am

this and that. And when you declare that you are,

you are calling whoever the lawyer or the judge as

the witness. Okay. But when Jesus declares that, he's not

just saying, oh, by the way, I have a title.

He is saying that it is witnessed by God as well.

He's declaring to his disciple, and it is witnessed by God.

And Jesus is revealing himself through a few things. He's

revealing himself that he is holy. Holy doesn't mean that

he is not doing anything wrong or no holy means

what a lot of people don't understand why it's holy,

Why it's holy. When you think about holy whites, holy,

you think about holy is you think of a men

in the mountains. That's what Chinese people say. No, no,

God does so many and broke out hells there and

then you're living in the mountain there one month to

become holy man? Is it is that what holy means? No,

holy means this, holy means set a part distinct. How

distinct it is. It's like oil against water, sky and

the sea and even more. We think like human beings,

but God is not a human being. God is a

divine being. We think of time. God doesn't even live

in time. You know, if I want to explain things,

and I know I'm going a bit you guys, okay,

so far you catch what I'm saying. I'm teaching a

lot of very important things, especially some kids here. You know,

when we think of time, right, I used to teach

people about God ra. When you think about timer, you

think of time like this, isn't it like a straight line?

This is your past, this is your prey where you

are right now, and you think about future, isn't it

where your eyes here right now in the middle Corna.

You think about, oh no, I'm twenty two years old.

I'm thinking about the future. And you think about God

is somewhere very far away, infinite, isn't it. Why if

I tell you that God doesn't exist like that, because

this is where humans walk. And then when you think

about Marvel or whatever character, you think that, oh, he's timeless,

he's very far aware. God doesn't exist on the same

dimension as us. God doesn't look at time, past, present,

and future like that. What if God looks at time

like this a single dot. He exists out of time,

that he is both present, that he is in the past, present,

and the future all at the same time. You come saying,

you know, we look at times, we look at life

like this, but God doesn't look at life like that.

Look at but you said, how can it be possible?

It's not possible for human beings because God is not

a human being. He is a divine being. That is

why he says he is holy. You cannot imagine you

think like that, But he is another dimension. You cat.

I'm saying, now you know that we are more then

there are more than three dimensions in this life right there,

are four dimensions that it's even possible. Eleven dimensions. You

can't see it, but it's it's there. But it doesn't

mean you cannot see it doesn't mean it's not real.

You get I'm saying, you know, if you learn physics,

are you will know what actually there's for eleven dimension

you canno see, but it's true. One it's scientifically proven,

but you cannot see it because you are human being.

God doesn't exist like that. You look at space like this,

or I am here in some mania, i am here

in PJ, or now I'm here in kl We look

at space like that. But God does not look at

space like that. Oh God look at space possibly like

a single dot. He is there, here and everywhere, all

at the same time. So there is why we say

there is none like him. That is why the only

thing you can call God is holy Holy. He is

not like just one person in a mountain. He is

totally another being. That is why they are any angels.

When they sow God, they only say holy, Holy, Holy.

There is none like him. There is none beside him.

You cannot carve God out of an image. It is idolatry.

I'm saying not it is completely holy. Anything you do

you try to put God into your mindset so that

you can understand that is sacrilegious. You have to take

God as who he is, even you don't understand, but

you believe by faith. That is why Bible says only

without faith, it is impossible to please God. The only

way we can touch a holy God and to connect

with him communities by faith. And that is why when

when God since Jesus to connects, it is mind blowing

to the angels, said, God, who is holy, will be

willing to become a human being to suddenly take from

this into this. He's willing. It's mind blowing. You know,

I'm saying no, It's like taking a three D object

to become two dimensional. I'm saying, no, taking a three

dimension to a two dimension object. God is holy. Okay,

I'm taking a lot of time. Everybody understands so far.

I know, I know you won't be able to fully grasp.

But the idea that I want to leave behind is

that God is holy. God is beyond our comprehension, but

he's real. Okay, don say. Jesus says that he is holy,

he who is true, and he who has the key

of David. I want you to underline that he who

has the key of Davy, he who opens and no

one shuts and shuts and no one opens. Okay, now,

is in Philadelphia there are men any groups of people.

There are Greeks, there are Romans, and they are Jews,

and they are Christians. Now, Christians are not a race.

Romans are raised, Greeks are erased, the Jews were erased.

But out of the Jews most of the time, ninety

nine point nine nine nine percent of the Jews actually

believe in the same religion, Judaism. Okay, you know what's Judaism? Right,

They believe in Abraham, they believe in Moses. Ninety nine

nine nine percent all believe in that. But suddenly, out

of nowhere, there's this guy who came out called Jesus.

Came out from the Jews, and Jesus says, I'm the Way,

the Truth, and the Life. He was crucified by who,

by the Romans, by the Greeks, or by the Jews.

The Jews. The Jews crucified him, although they didn't nail him,

but they delivered him for punishment. Do you see a

Jesus never blame conscious pilot, you know, never born mind.

It is the Jews who and bush him at night.

It is the Jews who who's that you got caught.

It's like someone go go to your house at nine

o'clock at night now to drag you with a police

at at twelve o'clock already send you to go to

meet a trial at night. Do you think that's fair

twelve o'clock in the midnight to go and see a judger. Normally,

even if a police detain you, they will never give

you twenty four forty eight hours are to call your lawyer.

One and all. They didn't even give you a chance

to get sentenced already tomorrow morning, punishment ready. Why do

you think they want to do that because they want

to get it done quickly in the night, so that

no one has a chance. I'm saying, no, no police report, nothing.

Can you immediately get a sentence tomorrow morning? You're gonna

be hungry, That's what they wanted to do. Okay, and

so now so Jesus came out from the Jews there

and then he starts to preach that I am the Way,

the Truth, and the life. He didn't point to God,

he points to him. But they say, if you don't

believe me, why is it? All the things that I

do are miracles? And in not just what I do

a miracles. Instead, I can show you all the scriptures

talked about me and all the miracles that I do.

None of you did it. In fact, all the poor,

all the rejected, all the pe ones love me and

the follow me. So I'm not just witnessing to myself.

My works, my miracles witness to my power, and the

scriptures witness to me. But you reject me. So who

is more powerful, my works, the scripture or you? So

maybe I am not wrong, maybe you are wrong, and

maybe you are blind all this. Wow, you see what

I'm saying now, So a lot of us I want

to be accepted one and all. But more importantly, she said,

whether you accept me, it's another thing. But more importantly,

I am doing the will of the Father. All these

miracles that I performed, where do they come from? Where

are the powers you can, I'm saying not, because they

know that miracles only come from God. Miracles are assigned

from God. If I can do all this, and the

scripture talked about it, why is it that I do

so much you still don't believe, and yet at the

very end you decide to kill me. That's what happened

in us right now, isn't it, Charlie. I tell you,

if Jesus was here, he will be the first to

be murdered. I'll tell you straight, You'll be the first.

You won't read Jesus like the Gospel one, Oh Jesus Holy.

I tell you, if Jesus was here, all the labels

that will put all of him he's anti, these anti,

they antdes anty, They all the labels will be put

until all the young men when they scroll through the

social media, they will hate Jesus because they label you labor, labor, labor, labor, labor, labor, labor,

so that you cannot really understand. Hear Jesus for yourself.

So the disciples when they will walk with him, he

not like that. That is why it's important not to hear,

not to have your your your your relationship with Jesus

your faithor based on another person, based on what you

hear from another fellow. You must have a personal work

with Jesus, that Jesus is really in your life and all.

You cannot come to church because your parents come. You

cannot come to church because or someone is gonna be

here with me. You'll be a there where no one

will be here with you. Will you still come to church?

Will you still believe in God? Or not? You cannot

have a secondhand faith in not you come saying or not?

There is there is very scary one. There's one thing

I scare more. There must must gare their parents than

anything else. That my children are will just follow anything

and everything else. It's not a coincidence. A lot of

these violence are committed by young people. Not a coincidence

because the enemy targets them, targets them. They want things

to happen now now now now now change now now

now now now doesn't happen. Come out my family, doesn't happen,

I change jobs, doesn't happen. I think I forced I

use violence because they want it now now now. But

they don't not have the breath of experience to wait

and to see and to persevere things. Why very strong

with it? Why saying what I'm saying? You not, but

it's true. But it's very very true. So you cannot

be afraid to be rejected by the World war and all.

You cannot cannot be afraid. So Jesus says, here, he said,

he who, he who is holy, he who is true,

he who has the key of David. Now, so the

Christians came out from the Jews, okay, and the Christians,

who are small minority of people now in Europe, mostly

most of the places are conquered by the Romans. Okay,

the Romans, they are the most powerful one, okay. And

they have a problem and they have a requirement for

most of the citizens. They will require you to worship

the emperor. Okay, worship the Emperor. How you worship the Emperor?

You take an incense and you're burning in the You

take a powder like an incense, and the incense is

not the Chinese incent you know, the incese is powdered one.

So now that you open the ball, you take an

incense and there'll be a chuck all there. They will

ask you to take drop it there and then there

will be a smell, and then you say, Caesar is Lord. Okay,

if you watch the movies carefully, you can see it

happening as well. You know some of that, there's some

if you watch the Gladiators that you can see them

they will do that. It's called an imperial cup. If

you study a history. Emperial cup means worshiping Caesar as God.

The Hebrews, the Jews, they cannot do it because the

religion prohibit them. There's only one God, and the Romans

have a problem. Maybe then leness can come up. It's

easier so that you're illustrated. Okay, you are the Romans,

so you face them. You are the Romans, okay, and

then you're here, you are the Jews. Okay, huh okay.

So the Romans have a problem with the Jews because

they don't follow what they want worship season. But the

Jews cannot do it because there's only one god to them,

the God of Abraham. Okay, they worsh it, the God

of Abraham. They only follow the laws of Moses. And

so because it they cannot do it, they strike agreement

with the Romans. Okay. They strike agreement because they are

quite a lot. Well, because the Romans. One thing they

don't want is they don't want civil war because they

conquer a law places. They don't want civil war once

it at erupts a lot of problems. So they want

to keep the peace. Okay, So what is the agreement

between them? Say, you don't have to worship, but I

can collect money from you. Ah, money is always a

very good incentive. Okay, can give the me first, I

chat transaction fee. What money can collect? They can collect

temple money. They can collect temper money. Okay, but you

don't have to know too much about it. They can

collect temper money. So there's an agreement. Now there is

another problem because now the Jews can go into the world,

can go to the marketplace. They don't have to do

the worship to buy things, to buy food, to buy water,

to sell things to feed their household. They don't have

to do that anymore. But the problem is you come out.

The Jews have an offshoot of people called the Christians.

They came out here. They are from the Jews. They

have mostly start up with the Jews. They are also

come out here. They are Jews also by rays, but

they believe in Jesus, but they do not want to

worship the Romans as well. But the problem is this

guy hates her, hates the Christians. In fact, they were

the one who crucified their leader, and they want to

be part of them. So what happens is that in

every city there is a synagogue. You know, it's a synagogue,

it's a temple. Imagine you guys are the synagogue synagogue

of some man. Yeah, you call it church, Okay, it's

called a synagogue. Okay. So in Philadelphia there is a

synagogue for the Jews. Whoa you come here every Sunday. Yeah,

you place you and go as kids. And most of

the time the synagogue is not just a synagogue, is

really their daily life one and all, okay, really their

day leader. When they say daily life are means they

meet their fellowship, they have their education, their school. You know,

they get their fine potential husband and wives from here. Everything.

They're really harder together because they're not a lot. The

synagogue is everything for them, you know, everything for them.

So to get included in the synagogue is the number

if you if you are a Jew, if I come

to Philadelphia, the number one thing I must do is

to find the synagogue. You know what I'm saying. Now,

that is why last time, in ancient times, in all

the times, we have h what do you call it? Clubs?

Fu Child club, h a Cantonese club, hock can society.

You know what I'm saying, All these societies. You know,

because with the hoddle together and you look at hey,

how can this society got so much big building, got

so much money because the community they come together as

a community to support one another. That was what it

meant to them. Last now different now not but nobody

go to club anymore. Last time the club gotsuming all

these things want to know, but the club was very

important to them. But there's a problem. Every time you

go into the club. Okay, like going to the club,

there will be a person at the front here okay,

there'll be a person who wants a seal. Maybe can

see here. I'm illustraining to that. You remember, Okay, so

you will come to the club. And then the first

thing before you enter, what do they do? Not Manila? Okay,

I know they like money, but everybody likes money, but

no Manilla. So the first thing is identification. Because Jews

are special growth people of course Rome has given them

a special assumption Truna truna, And so how do they

how many of you have joined a club before you
