  1. Listening to a message to go from at church. We

  2. hope this message will lighten.

  3. It's called Postcards of Heaven. Postcards of Heaven. Wow, you know,

  4. postcuts of Heaven. Just we're saying, you feel like, ah,

  5. you know, sounds like a love song, sounds like a

  6. country song.

  7. I don't know, you know, postcards of Heaven. What does

  8. that mean?

  9. I'll go into that a little bit, but let's start

  10. with some scripture. Is that okay, Let's turn to John

  11. chapter twenty one, verse fifteen to nineteen. We're gonna look

  12. at John twenty one, fifteen to nineteen, and this Olivia background.

  13. This is Jesus.

  14. Going to find Peter again, after Peter had abandoned him,

  15. after Peter had denied him, and after Peter had just,

  16. you know, just just ran away from God.

  17. And this is the heart of our God.

  18. The heart of our God is not that he's so

  19. holy he's waiting people to draw near to him. But

  20. he is so holy, and yet he is so hungry

  21. for our suvation that he draws near to us. The whole,

  22. you know, idea of Christianity is that we were never

  23. good enough to reach God, so God had to come

  24. and reach us.

  25. Amen, you know John three sixteen.

  26. Is this for God soul love the world, that he

  27. not we, that he sent his only son, that whoever

  28. that's us, whoever. Your education background doesn't matter, your skin

  29. color doesn't matter, your age doesn't matter, your finances don't matter.

  30. You know, nothing matters, your past doesn't matter. Whoever who believes,

  31. shall not perish. God's heart is that we don't perish,

  32. that we don't get destroyed, that we don't get lost.

  33. None of us perish, but receive eternal life. So let's

  34. read on jump turne one, verse fifteen to nineteen. If

  35. your dad can't hear a good amen of cos XTV

  36. has it very coolly put it on the screen for

  37. those of us who might not have a Bible.

  38. So let's read together.

  39. So when they had eaten breakfast, so Jesus had gone

  40. to find him and.

  41. Recreated a miracle.

  42. Uh, you know, recreated the moment they first met, and

  43. the Jesus first met Peter through the miracle catch. You know,

  44. they were fishing and then there was a miraculous catch

  45. of fish, and Jesus, in running to reach him again,

  46. recreated that first moment, and then they caught the fish.

  47. They had that that really they reconnected.

  48. And they were eating breakfast, and Jesus said to Simon Peter, Simon,

  49. son of Jonah, do you love me more than these?

  50. And he said to him, yes, Lord, you know that

  51. I love you. He said to him, feed my lambs.

  52. Let's read on. He said to him again the second time, Simon,

  53. son of Jonnah, do you love me? He said to him, yes, Lord,

  54. you know that I love you. And he said to him,

  55. tend my sheep. And then he said to him the

  56. third time, Simon's son of Jonah, do you love me?

  57. And Peter was grieved because he said to him the

  58. third time, Jesus will keep asking me. Do you not

  59. trust me? Do you love me? And he said to him, Lord,

  60. you know all things. You know my heart. You keep

  61. asking me this. You know that I love you. And

  62. Jesus said to him, feed my sheep. Let's keep reading on.

  63. Most so surely I said to you, when you were younger,

  64. you gird at yourself and walked where you wish. But

  65. when you're old, you will stretch out your hands, and

  66. now that will get you and carry you where you

  67. do not wish. This he spoke, signifying by what death

  68. he Peter would glorify God. And when he had spoken this,

  69. he said to him, follow me, follow me. You know,

  70. as Christians, if I'm not careful, we can fall into

  71. this pattern that's very similar to the part of Peter.

  72. We found Jesus or Jesus found us. We're following Jesus,

  73. We're being changed by Jesus, We're experiencing Jesus. We partner

  74. with Jesus in various ministries and various dream teams. And

  75. then there comes moments in our lives wherefore one thing

  76. or the other we abandon Jesus. We leave Jesus, not

  77. just leave him, but leave his teaching, live his principles,

  78. leave his values. You know, we deny him. We we

  79. fall I don't know, you know, we're tempted to maybe

  80. have nothing to do with him, and then we run

  81. away from him. We try to hide away from him.

  82. But God is so good. He comes and he finds us,

  83. and then he blesses us, and then he restores us,

  84. and then he revives us, and then we go from

  85. denying Christ to loving Christ again. And if you're not careful,

  86. if we don't follow through, as Jesus asked Peter to say, that, okay,

  87. all say and done, now follow me? Many times, what

  88. we do is that we miss the follow me part

  89. and we then go back to conflight being with Jesus,

  90. and then before we know it, we fall back into

  91. the same cycle again, you know.

  92. And and I don't mean a big bad.

  93. Uh betrayals of Jesus or denials of Jesus like we

  94. read in the Gospels. You know, you don't have to

  95. you know, Jesus didn't have to be captured for you

  96. to deny him three times. So you know, because some

  97. of you reading, is it not best Peter one, not

  98. as best judas one pasta you know, But.

  99. But we all have moments like that.

  100. Now every time we go through our lives and we

  101. we we take a detour away from the values the

  102. principles of God. You know. That's a denial that you know,

  103. I'm not sure about you, Jesus, you know, And we

  104. do that at work sometimes it's okay, I've not been

  105. stalking you, but I'm just not prophesying. But you know,

  106. assuming you know, we're all humans. We all have moments

  107. and sometimes at work it's hard to live for Christ.

  108. And sometimes at work, you know, we I don't know,

  109. we we know what Jesus stands for.

  110. But then at what maybe our temper.

  111. Gets the best of us, our jealousy gets the better

  112. of us. We join into gossip when we know that

  113. this is not what Jesus we wanted.

  114. We we we we I don't know.

  115. We join into you know, still credit when we know

  116. that that's not what Jesus wanted. You know, and in life,

  117. you know that the same continues. You know, you know,

  118. I deal with a lot with people who are younger

  119. in age, but it is not necessarily something that the

  120. only young people struggle with. But you know, in life,

  121. you know, we we are pressured to follow trends, were

  122. pressure to follow the pressure that comes from our peers.

  123. Uh And and sometimes you know, what's popular the world

  124. might not be popular with Jesus. But sometimes we feel like,

  125. oh maybe Jesus, you understand right, you understand right, you know,

  126. And and and why I'm saying is this, we have

  127. we have pockets of that, We have pockets of that right.

  128. We have pockets of denial, pockets of running away from

  129. the Lord, pockets of disobedience, pockets are falling into sin,

  130. pockets of the flesh taking over you know and maybe

  131. some of us here, you know, the Malaysian traffic has

  132. a way to bring the flesh out sometimes, you know.

  133. So maybe on the way driving to church today, you know,

  134. like you know, you you it's differentile praise that came

  135. up from you, you know, and so Jesus loves you.

  136. Is something else that ends with you. Uh, you know

  137. it was holy hands lift in worship. It's uh, your

  138. hands were definitely lifted up, you know. And maybe one

  139. thing that was lifted higher birth. But but what I'm

  140. saying is this that you know, we God doesn't want

  141. us to just have this cycle. You know a lot

  142. of us, and and you see that this cycle is

  143. very tricky. On one hand, in this cycle, we're doing

  144. our best. He's saying to God, God, I'm doing my best.

  145. And in this cycle, you are experiencing the blessing of God.

  146. You are experiencing the grace of God. And and the

  147. blessing grace of God is is is very nice. But

  148. but God wants more for us. Turn to your neighbor, says,

  149. God wants.

  150. More for you. God wants more for you.

  151. Amen, and a lot of us we are just happy

  152. and content with our little Christian cycle, a cycle of

  153. blessing and grace, blessing and grace, blessing and grace, you know,

  154. and then we go like, oh, you know, I'm so

  155. glad that you just loves me just the way that

  156. I am. Uh, you know, I'm so glad that you

  157. know he's patient with me, and and yes he is,

  158. but God wants so much more, you know, just coming back.

  159. You know, this is August, yikes, and of August, coming

  160. to the end of August, and so both myself and

  161. Cat we've been back since maybe June. So this is

  162. count of like our third month in Malaysia again. And

  163. after living away from Malaysia for so long, you know,

  164. it's very funny you come back as a tourist.

  165. You know.

  166. I had to learn a lot of things again, learn

  167. how to drive and then all these kind of things,

  168. you know. Uh. And but it was besides relearning you know,

  169. Malaysian road ethics and different things, you know, rediscovering Malaysian food,

  170. Praise Lord, it was also a lot of reconnecting, reconnecting,

  171. reconnecting with people, reconnecting with friends, old friends, and.

  172. Just catching up with people.

  173. And and in my catching up, I'm discovering that there's

  174. so much brokenness in the world. I'm talking to people

  175. and words like divorce comes up. Oh, oh, you didn't

  176. know I got divorced. I'm sorry, did you know that?

  177. Oh you didn't know. But my wife had a miscarriage. Oh,

  178. oh sorry, I didn't know that. Oh you didn't know.

  179. But last year we had a cancer scare. Oh cancer,

  180. Oh sorry, I didn't know that.

  181. Or you didn't know.

  182. But my my my child, you know, is going through

  183. a bit trouble at school and and or my husband

  184. lost a job, or I had to close down my company,

  185. I had to send my mom to a care home.

  186. Uh.

  187. Or we're trying IVF and we're failing. I'm not quite

  188. sure about the future. Oh, I'm thinking of migrating our

  189. Malaysia because there's just no prospects here. And as I'm

  190. catching up with different ones, both in church and outside

  191. of church, I'm reminded again what.

  192. What a broken way.

  193. We live in, where the effects and the curse of

  194. sin is destroying people left, right and center, both directly

  195. and indirectly. And and I'm certainly struck to the core

  196. of my being by the fact that you know, gosh,

  197. I I I didn't know, you know I've ever been

  198. there before. You you You you go up to someone,

  199. you talk, and then they certainly get very real. Praise

  200. you got, They got very real man. You know, you

  201. go up to them thinking, I just go, hey, how

  202. are you? How's life? And then they instead of going

  203. like it's okay and then you smile and you move on,

  204. they just go, oh, thanks for asking. She's not being good,

  205. and they get more real than you were expecting them

  206. to get real. It's okay, you know, I mean church, right.

  207. If we can't get real in church, where can we

  208. get real? Right? So so don't be afraid to get

  209. rid in church. I'm not getting step what I was.

  210. You know what I look back with those things is

  211. that I go like, man, I should prayed more. You know,

  212. if only I knew that, you know what I'm saying, Christians,

  213. you know, like like I didn't know that that dinner

  214. catch up was gonna lead to some real stuff. And

  215. and of course I was there and I tried my

  216. best to encourage them to maybe even off the prey

  217. for them. But looking back, you know, I go like, man,

  218. if only I knew I I we prayed a little

  219. bit more, you know, what I'm saying, you know, like

  220. like you know, well, if only I knew you were

  221. going to do some heavy counseling, I would like faster

  222. and prayed, you know, like like like everything you know,

  223. not just Daniel Fast, every fast you know, Edward Fast,

  224. Joe fast than you fast, Ali Fast, moved too fast. No,

  225. just just all the names that mean I'm just joking,

  226. but you get what I'm saying. Like I would been

  227. like man extra spiritual, I were memori small scriptures, So

  228. I go yo that Halleylujah first say it's the law

  229. of pump pum pump, you know, like like I will

  230. have you know what I'm saying.

  231. And and but that's.

  232. The thing like God says that, but you know it's

  233. it's we don't know with hindsight, it's always twenty twenty.

  234. But what God wanted me to know is that Dave,

  235. there are needs out there, and sometimes my people and

  236. Christians and myself included in that category.

  237. We can be so stuck in our own cycle.

  238. That we forget that God has called us to serve

  239. other people. You see, Salvation is not an afterlife insurance policy.

  240. You know, It's not like in case I die today,

  241. because I know some of us here we were asked

  242. that question, you know, in our youth groups, by all

  243. our Sunday school teachers.

  244. If you die today, Joe at where would you go?

  245. I don't know?

  246. And then you know, out of that fear and trembling, okay,

  247. by the Ansians policy called Jesus Christ LLC.

  248. No, it's not God.

  249. God is not an after you know in case I

  250. die after life insurance policy.

  251. He's the way, the.

  252. Truth and the life, and and and being a Christian

  253. being saved. It's not about surviving until we get to heaven.

  254. It's about bringing Heaven to earth. That's why when the

  255. Lord taught us to pray, he says, our Father, who

  256. is in heaven, your kingdom, Come, Your will be done.

  257. Let earth right on earth. Let you know on earth

  258. as it is in heaven. It's basically saying that let

  259. earth look more like Heaven. And I don't know about you,

  260. but in heaven, I'm pretty sure there's no cancer in heaven.

  261. That won't be death in heaven.

  262. That won't be tears in heaven, that won't be miscarried

  263. in heaven, that there won't be broken marriages, and in

  264. heaven that won't be financial let in heaven, that won't

  265. be health problems, and in heaven, that won't be hate

  266. in heaven.

  267. That won't be hurt in heaven, that in heaven. And

  268. so this is what I mean.

  269. Friends, we need to break out of this pattern. And

  270. how do we break out of this pattern? It's not

  271. just about being revived, it's not just about reconnecting with Jesus.

  272. It's about reaching others. And you see that Jesus was

  273. ministering to Peter. He wasn't just trying to get him

  274. back for like, oh you deny me three times? Are

  275. so I'll make it really awkward for you, Peter, And

  276. I'm gonna ask you the same question three times and

  277. then I'm gonna stare you eyeball to eyeball and see

  278. you flinch. And that was probably what Peter was feeling

  279. asking me a third time. This is he getting back

  280. of me for the three times.

  281. And then but you see Jesus says, do you love me? Yes?

  282. I do, he mediately, and I don't want you and

  283. I love you too, Peter, and I don't want you

  284. to fall back to that pattern again because I know you, Peter.

  285. And we look at Peter's time with Jesus even there

  286. was a mini pattern of that.

  287. Right, he was always the outspoken one.

  288. He was always the one who, you know, acted first

  289. and then thought second, wait, touch my Jesus kept your year,

  290. and then she just gonna let Peter stop it, you know,

  291. you know, he was the one that go like, wow, Jesus,

  292. you've been transfigured. I know we're gonna build you a

  293. monument here, or build you a monument for most is

  294. gonna build your money.

  295. You know, he's he's and Peter's and Jesus like Peter.

  296. No, and then he's going like, you know, hey, hey,

  297. do don't why wash my feet if you do? You know,

  298. if you don't wash my feet, you know you gotta

  299. wash my home. My Peter's not about that. Hey, Jesus,

  300. what's this you talking about?

  301. Dying? Dying? Dying? You know we're gonna bring Heaven to earth? Right,

  302. Why how can you die? Peter? Yet be behind me? Satan?

  303. So you see, God knows of our patterns, and he's

  304. trying to help Peter to break his pattern by saying

  305. it's about reaching others. Peter, do you love me?

  306. Yes? I do. I don't want to be the old

  307. Peter again and.

  308. Goes like, no, Peter, I know, and I don't want

  309. you to be the old man too. Feed my laps,

  310. ten my sheep, take care of other people, follow me.

  311. And I'm not sure about you, but some of us

  312. who were there in Missions conference yesterday and just me

  313. and my wife were talking and a passing cat was

  314. saying that I don't know how to say this, but

  315. I feel like I need to repent all over again

  316. and have an auto call by myself the law. I

  317. just need to repent and just for God, of the

  318. needs out there and and how good we have it

  319. as Malaysians. When we heard the speaker go like I

  320. was in the war torn country and I came back

  321. to Malaysia was too quiet, and yeah, we're complaining Malaysia

  322. too noisy, when when you know what I'm saying.

  323. And and and and and and.

  324. When I went my workshop, I went to the one

  325. that is reaching out to the indigenous people of Malaysia

  326. and of all the needs and they know they lack,

  327. and how we need to bless them and help them

  328. not just spiritually but also education and economically and and

  329. and and you know, socially and all these things, and

  330. I'm not thinking like, man, you know, I came out

  331. going like, there's so much need out there's so much

  332. need out there.

  333. And I go like, I think some of us urban

  334. Christians we gotta repent. Man.

  335. You know, in there they got we don't have a

  336. church to me, We don't have a Bible to read,

  337. you know, it's not fully translated in their sub dialect yet.

  338. And here we have Bibles to spare, you know, in

  339. our homes, in our apps, you know, in that they

  340. don't have a place to worship. And urban Christians we

  341. can choose which service to go to. And even then

  342. we choose which service go to based on our need.

  343. Tomorrow.

  344. Tomorrow, I got pick up on in the morning, so

  345. I'll go to one thirty, and I hope that you're

  346. not here because you got pick up on.

  347. If you are, that wasn't me, And that's God. Okay,

  348. that's God, all right. I didn't.

  349. I didn't know you were pickball, you know, And I

  350. pray that you're at one thirty. You're actually not because

  351. you're looking for church to satisfy your needs. But you're

  352. here to worship Jesus. You're here to serve others. You're here,

  353. you know, because they're their souls to reach and and

  354. and every time when we live for ourselves, we go

  355. back to the same cycle. But God wants us to

  356. break that cycle. I know some of you are thinking, like,

  357. you know, the last time he tricked us, he gave

  358. us a very bad title. But then he was very

  359. light and easy. This gave us a hard a nice title.

  360. Now he is like gunning for us. No, no, no, no no.

  361. You might be thinking, Okaya, where does this lead? Why

  362. post cards of hellning? You know, I also want us

  363. to break this, not just pat them, but this mindset,

  364. that that that makes us think that missional work is

  365. for the select fuel and that missionary is a mission

  366. trip is something that we sign up when we have

  367. the time and resources to do. So.

  368. Don't get me wrong.

  369. Every time the church organizes a big team effort, get involved, man,

  370. get involved. If you never got on the mission trip,

  371. go you know, it could be local, could be could

  372. be cross cultural. Go go get involved. It's a great

  373. way to grow your faith. It's a great way to

  374. count your blessings. It's a great way to get to

  375. know it other as well. Friendships really deepened. But but

  376. I want to go and live more deeper than that,

  377. because God's idea was not that a select few gets

  378. sent out.

  379. God's idea was.

  380. Not that, you know, only apostle Paul gets sent out

  381. to become this church planter and and letter writing guy

  382. is so much more than that.

  383. So let's let's go to the apostle Paul.

  384. Right, So let's turn to Second Curritans, chapter three, verse

  385. two to three.

  386. Second Curriatians, Chapter three, verse two to three.

  387. Right, and then this is the apostle who's very good,

  388. everything like this, and him saying that you know, you know,

  389. you know, I'm paraphrasing, but I can imagine it's like

  390. you know me, I write letters. But you know what

  391. you know, because today right, right, we we revere the

  392. different letters right, not the word epistle. It's just an

  393. ancient English word for letter, you know. And so if

  394. some of your Bible, if you're from like in the NKJV,

  395. you'll be like the epistle of you know, uh, you know,

  396. you know. So today we go there as a first Courtian,

  397. second Courriagers. But it was epistles. It was letters written

  398. to the church in Corinth, written to the church in

  399. Philippi that we now know as Philippians and stuff like that.

  400. So right, sorry, English, lesson over. You are our letters.

  401. Let's put it that way. You are our letters, epistles

  402. written in our hearts, known and read by all men.

  403. All right, clearly you know. And he builds on that.

  404. You guys, you're not just here surviving in this city,

  405. in this nation.

  406. Chur just to get by the apostle Paul saying.

  407. That you are letters written from his heart to be

  408. read and seen by all men. And this is where

  409. we get the idea of like that. People might not

  410. read the Bible yet, but they can read you. They

  411. can read your face, they can read your heart, they

  412. can read your life.

  413. And so then it goes on.

  414. Not just let us written from our hearts, because he

  415. was writing specifically to the church in Corinth, you know,

  416. which is very close this heart. But you are letters

  417. epistles of Christ, ministered by us, but written not with ink,

  418. but with the but by the spirit of the Living God.

  419. Not on tablets of stone. But then they use tablets

  420. of stone. Now we use tablets, and so not they're

  421. far but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

  422. And the apostle pulse trying to tell us that you,

  423. guys are letters. Whether you realize it or not, people

  424. are reading you. And more than just letters of our ministry,

  425. you are letters of the Most High God, sent by.

  426. God into the world.

  427. And and and and yeah, you're minister too by us.

  428. But your life and what God is doing, your salvation

  429. and your testimonies, it's inks by the Holy Spirit on

  430. the tablet of your heart. That's why my message today

  431. is called postcards of Heaven, because that's what we are

  432. just incause letters of heaven doesn't ring quite true. Postcards

  433. and and and and because postcards always have that right,

  434. you know, you send out you look at Oh wow,

  435. wish you were here, right, wish you were here, you

  436. sent out you know. Postcasts are sent out to really

  437. as act of love, to capture a moment, you know.

  438. So so sometimes people travel all the far away places

  439. and then they sent me postcards, you know, from Greece.

  440. I'm like, wow, wow, what is this place to send me?

  441. Postcars from Spain, spending postcasts from America, send me poscasts

  442. from South America, and and postcards all have basically this premise,

  443. wish you were here, wish you could see this because

  444. I'm seeing this and I can't wait to for you

  445. to see this. So I'm sending you a copy of

  446. this via postcard. And that is the heart of God

  447. as well. God's idea and expressed by the postle pause,

  448. is that when we go out, we will be like

  449. postcards or heaven, that when people see you, it's as

  450. if Heaven go like, wish you were here too, wish you.

  451. Know, like like if you are.

  452. Uh, that's the Ivans colleague, and then you don't know

  453. what Jesus, but but you read his life, by the.

  454. Grace of God, it's gonna look like this. You know.

  455. The Holy Spirit's won't be like, hey, wish you were

  456. here too, wish you knew me, like how Ivan knows

  457. me to wish you could let me work in your life,

  458. like how Ivan is letting me work in his life

  459. to sign the Holy Spirit int with the blood of Christ.

  460. That's God's hard for us and friends. I'm telling you

  461. this because unless you begin to view your life like this,

  462. it's just gonna be cycle after cycle of typical church

  463. going and a form of Christianity having a form of

  464. godliness but lacking power. Because what I wish was that man,

  465. if only I knew. And so as God's gonna lead

  466. us to times and conversations to wake us up to

  467. go there are needs out there that's bigger than you,

  468. bigger than what.

  469. You're going through.

  470. Yes, you're going through stuff, but there are other people

  471. who have you worse than you, who need my grace,

  472. who need my love, who need my peace. And would

  473. you be my mouthpiece? Would you be my hands and

  474. my feet? Would you be my postcard? And if we

  475. have that thought, we don't have to wait, you know,

  476. for a deep conversation to happen. To wish that we

  477. have prayed a little bit more every day, we would

  478. have been like God, I want to be prayed up.

  479. I want to read up, and I want to and

  480. I want to lift up other people and standing together

  481. and lift up their burdens to you, because that's what

  482. you saved me for.

  483. Amen.

  484. And so I just got three points to help us

  485. to make this more practical.

  486. I hope that.

  487. God is beginning to geminate the idea of postcarts being

  488. a postcut, being his postcard to a broken world, being

  489. a postcart of heaven. But this is how we can

  490. make that a greater reality. Point number one. Right, if

  491. you want to be a postcut of heaven, if you

  492. want God to send you out point number one, let

  493. God have you. You see, God can't send what he

  494. doesn't have. You See, if God did have a son,

  495. he couldn't send a son. But because he had Jesus,

  496. he could send Jesus. The question is are you letting

  497. God have you? Are you letting God have all of you?

  498. You know?

  499. How many here you love celebrities? He love?

  500. No, true question, not like his He's gonna he's gonna

  501. preach something against idols and no, no, no, no, no, how many

  502. you not? You have a fandom, you have a right?

  503. How many into like K pop?

  504. K pop? Right? It's okay, okay, hey you know hey,

  505. I mean you know kop? Yeah? Right?

  506. And uh know you you man, if you see them,

  507. you want to give them something to sign, right, right,

  508. just just being real? Yeah, how many of you buy?

  509. You guys into sports? You know sports? I know some

  510. guys are really into footballers. Right if favorite footballer went

  511. to you know, I don't know if if you happen

  512. to be at FROTH and your favorite footballer happened to be.

  513. Visiting summit, Uh do ask why.

  514. Just yeah and ordering coffee from for You'll be like,

  515. right you you I don't know you were offered to

  516. buy him coffee? Right, you might try to find something

  517. to give.

  518. Him the sign? Right? How man you hear like movies? Movies?

  519. How do you have a favorite movie actor, actress? Right?

  520. Yeah, you know? Living living in London, you know the

  521. place I want my dog. I don't know why, but

  522. I often bump into celebrities there. I just remember, like

  523. one time, but but they're not that famous or so

  524. like the famous to me, maybe because it really depends

  525. on what movies you're you're into, right, uh So, so

  526. I know there's one time I just had to go like, like,

  527. you know, because sometimes it's so funny, like you don't

  528. know celebrities and but your brain recognizes them because you

  529. watch movie and read says that this is something with

  530. someone famous. So when you walk past, right, it's very

  531. bizarre because it feels your brain is saying that you

  532. know this person, but your your other brain goes that

  533. I don't know this person, right, And then there's this

  534. and then makes you do a second take.

  535. Right.

  536. So I remember one time when I was at the park,

  537. I was walking my dog and I saw this actor

  538. that looked a lot like the person who played Loki

  539. in uh No Avengers thor you know, Tom Hiddlestern and

  540. stuff like that. And I just remember, you know, he

  541. was wearing a cat walking my dog. He was walking

  542. his dog, and walked past each other. And then my

  543. brain just had like a you know, like and like,

  544. hey him, like it looks like the guy, you know.

  545. So I thought nothing about it. Then the next day,

  546. I want my daughter, I walked past him again. Uh

  547. it's the guy, you know. So in I walk past

  548. this guy three times, and so by by the second time,

  549. I go like, hey, I think I saw this guy.

  550. And by the third time, I'm like, oh, should I

  551. do something right for selfie whatever? So I didn't. I

  552. just I just tipped my hat. I just I just

  553. walked past him and go like sorry, do you know,

  554. because I was afraid I'll scare him away out No,

  555. I you know, I'm not play cool, not just in

  556. case you don't want other people. No, no, I don't

  557. want to hear and then other people swarm him and

  558. then he would hate me, you know. You know. Also,

  559. I just you know, tip had tip his hat back,

  560. like yeah, and that was one time, you know, bumm

  561. into one of the Jonas brothers. So I wasn't yeah

  562. sounded girls here almost fainted. We were out. We were

  563. out celebrating the birthday. We were out celebrating the birthday

  564. of one of our church members. It's a funny story,

  565. like we wanted to this church member's birthday, but we

  566. didn't know how. And a want of Cat's friends had

  567. a booking in this fancy restaurant, but she couldn't go

  568. for so but but if you don't go, if you

  569. cancel the booking, then they'll take your money. So she

  570. was asked around. So he said, oh, okay, table for four,

  571. let's go. British re member out brought another church member

  572. and then as well, there this this Tuman god that.

  573. That's a Jona's brother. That's a Jonas brother.

  574. Because I don't follow that fandom, you see, celebrity. It's

  575. very subjective, right, I know some of you like like

  576. I don't do football even I know ironic, right, They

  577. send you know, like paster Joe vij who's really into football,

  578. say that you know he he misses watching football because

  579. in Australia it's so hard to catch live matches and

  580. then he said that what a joke. Man, God send

  581. the guy who's not interested in the football to go

  582. through UK. I can watch it in real time in

  583. in in you know, normal hours, and so football is go.

  584. I got past and I wouldn't know. So this jone's

  585. brother walked past. I didn't know, member, what are the brothers?

  586. And they're not not just one of the jus brothers,

  587. but it was something he's dating. So he was dating.

  588. I think now they're divorce already. So sorry, but this

  589. girl called Sophie Turner, Sophie Turner. So Sophie turnersund you,

  590. it's not the older people, is that?

  591. What is that? Google?

  592. You can google the day. You can google those. So

  593. who wants like a celebrity? She was in some movies

  594. and some famous and so they were dating for a

  595. while and they were married and they unfortunately, uh separated.

  596. But but when we bumm into them, they were dating,

  597. and so I thought, you know, typical past energy. I thought,

  598. after we finish our meal, they look like they're about

  599. to go, So I say, hey, we go. Then as

  600. we collect our jackets outside because it's a fancy place.

  601. When they take your jackets from you you know, uh

  602. and uh, I can't ask them for selfia And then

  603. they were like please mauster.

  604. Dawn, don't embarrass no h.

  605. And then you know things, don't tell your pastor no,

  606. you know you you know if you if you ever

  607. want your pastor to not do something to tell him? Yes, yes,

  608. but great idea. You should plan five more services, plan

  609. five more services. If you say don't plan, no, he'll

  610. plan anyway you're talking. And so we went there. Long

  611. story short, we I cheekily asked, oh, we're.

  612. Such big fans. So yeah.

  613. I had a moment where I was like, Peter, so

  614. I you know, I lied I didn't know him from Adam.

  615. Oh, well, big fans.

  616. We give it their pictures my friend's birthday a little

  617. and and so they were like, oh yeah, sure, okay,

  618. but then they will count dating. Don't paparazy to know. Okay,

  619. we don't mind taking a picture, but maybe is it

  620. okay if we take separately?

  621. So I'm like, okay, no mind. You know.

  622. So we had a group picture with one a Jonas

  623. system on a group picture with the girlfriend and then

  624. we then I don't know why. In the end, I

  625. think we was having such a good time. They decided

  626. to do one group picture of everybody in the praise

  627. a lot. Now you might be thinking, what on earth, Okay,

  628. I just got to do with what we just talked about. No,

  629. that's just my my encounter. I'll tell you my encounter

  630. with Spider Man and that time, uh and so and so,

  631. if you were to certainly meet the person, could be

  632. could be superstar, could be could be athletes, could be singer,

  633. could be actor, could be you know, because we got

  634. some phdcre could be an academic or Nobel Piece price professor,

  635. so and so. For us, it's like, you know, but

  636. enough for for people who are into that, they're drooling

  637. all over. You know, like.

  638. If you if you had a chance to meet.

  639. Some of these people, wouldn't you give them something to sign?

  640. And and and if you didn't have something to sign,

  641. you would you would go sign my hand right, sign

  642. sign my You take out your wallet and need to

  643. find that you're carrying pharmacy receipt and then you go,

  644. like you sign the back of this. You just try

  645. to find any piece of paper on material that can

  646. hold ink, right, and for this person to sign. You

  647. try to capture that moment forever to tell your friends

  648. about it. What more, God, when we say, let God

  649. have you, and and this is the thing, right, that

  650. thing might be My start off is life as you're

  651. all Unicorde T shirt equest start off your life as

  652. like you know, like if you meet a football star

  653. and the only ball you have it's a Biger ball,

  654. you're getting him to sign it. And so do you

  655. understand when you let God have you? And God is

  656. He's above every celebrity. You know, Celebrities come and go.

  657. Celebrities come and go. No, they are only as good

  658. as their last movie, their last achievement. But but you know,

  659. nothing can ever tarnish the name of Jesus. His name

  660. is above any other celebrity name, and and and so

  661. we understand when a celebrity signs my caring pharmacy received.

  662. After the celebrity signs it, that no longer becomes just

  663. a receipt, that becomes an artifact, that becomes something you

  664. can sell on eBay, that becomes something you can frame,

  665. that becomes something you can pass on to your next

  666. generation and become a family and loom right, you know,

  667. like like if a favor footballer signs your soccer ball.

  668. You're not gonna use that soccer ball for You're gonna

  669. frame it up, put in a glass case, and it's

  670. gonna be passed on to your children and your children's children,

  671. et cetera.

  672. Let God have you.

  673. Many times you think that we don't have anything to offer,

  674. and you might not have. But all it takes is

  675. it being in the hands of God for it to

  676. be immediately transformed into something far more precious, far more powerful,

  677. far more meaningful than what it started with. See, God

  678. wants to send us out. He says that we are

  679. his letters. Would you give him something to write on?

  680. Would you be that someone that he can write on?

  681. Would you give yourself to him? Give him everything right,

  682. give him your heart, give him your mind, give him

  683. your job right, and don't mean like give up your job.

  684. Give him your job and say that God, I am

  685. a letter. Everything attached is a letter of you. So

  686. how can I be a lawyer? That is your letter?

  687. How can I be an engineer? There's your letter? How

  688. can I be a teacher? There's also your letter? How

  689. can I be a housewife? There's also your letter? How

  690. can I be a businessman? Who is also your letter?

  691. How can I be a mother, A full time mom

  692. doesn't matter. How can I be a mother who is

  693. also your letter? How can I be a father who's

  694. also your letter? How can I be a retire who's

  695. also your letter? How can I be a neighbor who

  696. is also your letter? How can I be a young

  697. fifty year old boy who is also your letter?

  698. God?

  699. How how can I be? But the first step is

  700. when you give yourself to him. And for some of

  701. us here, we maybe like Peter, God had to reach

  702. out to Peter and recreate that first moment again and

  703. tell Peter do you love me more than these? And

  704. maybe what Peter was thinking, do you love me more

  705. than this? It's not just about the fish, but it was.

  706. The fish also represented not just his comfort zone, but

  707. it was also how he met Jesus.

  708. And maybe some of us.

  709. Here you are on fire, but you're resting. You're resting

  710. on past glory. And you said that, Oh now that

  711. I'm young, Wyrda, no time is precious now?

  712. But uh, where was a student? Now?

  713. I served a lot every day when I was a studenter,

  714. I was in church every weekend. When a student, Now

  715. I serve all the service. When I was a student.

  716. I volunteer in excisus. When I was a student. I

  717. took the bus to missions when I.

  718. Was a student.

  719. Now they're not a student, or now they're not you

  720. know stufferent Now no, they'm not a student. I don't

  721. have time, and so PRIs Scott. You still love Jesus,

  722. but you're resting on past glory, and Jesus is asking

  723. the same thing again. Do you love me more than

  724. your past glory? Do you love me more than your

  725. youth group experience? Do you love me more than your

  726. overseas experience? Do you love me more than last year?

  727. Do you love me more? Can I have you again?

  728. Because maybe for someone us here, you did give yourself

  729. to Jesus and he wrote a beautiful letter, but that

  730. letter has expired. That letter needs to be updated, and

  731. he's asking would you come out of retirement?

  732. Would you come out of rest and let me have

  733. you again?

  734. Maybe if someone us here, it's not past glory but

  735. past hurt. You know, you go like, ah, I join

  736. one thirty because the people all here very friendly, because

  737. I've been hurt by people before, hurt by Christians before.

  738. Or I really like the kngs. You know, they ride

  739. down to earth. They open up your place for prayer,

  740. so nice, let me pack their cat. And but but

  741. you know, I don't know, you know, I don't know

  742. whether I can trust leaders the way I trust it again,

  743. and going saying that, would you come out of your

  744. hurt and let him have you again? Point number two

  745. is this that God has you? Let God write? You See,

  746. a postcard doesn't get to right itself. You need somebody

  747. else to write the postcard. Right, it's very beautiful. Right,

  748. somebody has to pay for the postcard. So we're all

  749. here because Jesus paid for us, and so now we

  750. let him write. Would you let God be the author

  751. of your faith? Some of us are like, okay, fine,

  752. God have me, but don't touch, don't write, you know.

  753. Some of us, you know, some of us were scared

  754. to even go for Missions conference or anything like that,

  755. because we're like, if I go, got my semi out,

  756. so I love God, I'll go to church, but missions,

  757. no way, jose And because he might send me to

  758. the country that I really I'm afraid of.

  759. And I don't know why.

  760. Every time you say timbak to timbak, do you know

  761. maybe one day will meet meeping Tibaktu and go like,

  762. w it's achally very nice, you know, like you know,

  763. you go there, realize it's modern day Wakanda or something.

  764. And then and they realized, shocks, I shuld have come

  765. to Timbuktu. But but but the areas of our faith.

  766. Maybe maybe it's not missions. Maybe maybe it's how you

  767. spend your free time. Maybe it's how you spend your money.

  768. God was to use you, you know. And and maybe

  769. you're in a position where you can financially be a blessing,

  770. but you're not a millionnaire.

  771. It's easy to go to God.

  772. Please save Jeff Bezos, the owner of Amazon, the second

  773. richest person in the.

  774. World, and and and and and.

  775. And save him and make him like a modern day

  776. you know, Zacharias or something or that, you know, where

  777. he will come down from his tree and he will

  778. sell half of Amazon shares and give to the poor. God,

  779. please do that. But that's you dictating how God will write.

  780. But God oftentimes would not write the story where the

  781. millionaire gives half its possession away. But God in the

  782. Bible has written where it was the nameless young boy

  783. who gave his lunch away so that God could use

  784. that five floors and two fish to feed five thousand people.

  785. Do you understand? Sometimes we want God to move, but

  786. we don't want him to write. We don't want him

  787. to have control. We don't want him to have final say,

  788. we don't want him to have the right to add it.

  789. You go like, this is my story, Please don't touch

  790. it by God. I say, I'm the author, I'm the editor,

  791. I'm the publisher. Let me edit. You think that's a

  792. good ending. I have a better ending. You think that's

  793. a sad ending. But actually it's a good ending. And

  794. you can see this. When Peter was talking to Jesus,

  795. he says that one day you're gonna go where you

  796. don't wanna go. You're gonna be led. And the Bible

  797. says very clearly, and Jesus is describing, hinting, telegraphing the

  798. final moments of Peter's life and how he would die.

  799. But he says that his death will glorify him. How

  800. would you want to die peaceful death that doesn't glorify God,

  801. or a tragic death that glorifies him. Of course you'd

  802. be like, past, don't don't be so extremely don't Maybe

  803. choose can be only this two outcome.

  804. Right, But what if God desires that.

  805. Yesterday a missions conference we learn of the missionary, right, Jimilien.

  806. Right.

  807. I'm sure he would have loved to start a mission's

  808. outreach to the Amazonians and and and and and.

  809. You know, build them a church and disciple them.

  810. But but God's plan was that he would give his life.

  811. And in the giving of his life, God is glorified,

  812. but an entire generation is mobilized. Will you let God

  813. write your life?

  814. Every day?

  815. Would you boldly pray this prayer? God, I give my

  816. life to you today. God, please write my story today.

  817. I have my plans, I have my purposes, I have

  818. my appointments, I have my meetings. All right, so please

  819. don't misunderstand and think this is an excuse to be lazy. Okay,

  820. every day you just wake up there, you know, you

  821. know this. This is not like like Christian fortune telling.

  822. You know, it's not like you wake up and you

  823. go like, I'm just brainless, I'm just nothing.

  824. God use me.

  825. You throw your Bible to the floor and whatever page

  826. it lands on, is you all like? Then you have

  827. a board that says that number one means what color?

  828. Number two and and and no, no, no, it's not like that.

  829. It means that God give me. I'm I'm You're giving

  830. me an opportunity to to to work here, to study here,

  831. to live here. I have my appointments today, I have

  832. stuff to do today. But God, right, God added, God

  833. please add, God please subtract, and and the literally helps

  834. us because if certainly that day doesn't go exactly how

  835. imagine it, you don't have to be frustrated, because go,

  836. maybe God's editing something, you know, Oh I missed that

  837. business steal. Oh my boss is gonna be so angry.

  838. But maybe God's writing something. Maybe maybe that's the start

  839. of a plot twist, you know. And so would you

  840. let God write you? Would you let him right over you?

  841. Because for some of us here it's our past, you know,

  842. our hurts, our excuses, And would you God, would you

  843. let God just you know, I'm old. So we have

  844. this thing called liquid paper, you know, so like you know,

  845. this thing where you go and then you you.

  846. Know, and then wait for you dry.

  847. Right, would you let God liquid not paper over you,

  848. but liquid his grace over you?

  849. Right? You know? Would you let God highlight.

  850. God while you highlighting these areas I want to keep

  851. them secret.

  852. You know, God, why you? Why are you exposing me?

  853. And and but yet when we visit I don't know,

  854. the Japanese Museum or something. You are blessed enough to

  855. visit Japan itself, you know, you visit the place and

  856. go like, oh, this is the ancient earth firm of

  857. kid Tsunagi, where we crack the busselin and we put

  858. it back together in gold.

  859. And then you'll be like, ah, so smart people.

  860. But like God's doing the same thing, and God's saying that, Yeah,

  861. I'm the potter, you're the clay, and I put you

  862. together again, and the cracks in your life, I can

  863. use the goal of my grace.

  864. And I'm highlighting your cracks. Don't expose me. I'm hiring

  865. your crest. Don't expose me.

  866. But I'm highlighting them so that they are no longer

  867. something to be a shame of. You See, if it's

  868. a crack, you want to hide it, you turn the

  869. company other way around. If it's a chip, you want

  870. to hide it, turn it. But if it's cover in gold,

  871. you want to feature it. And so for some of

  872. us here we go like, God, you know my past,

  873. it's ugly and God saying that, let me add it,

  874. let me revisese. Let me highlight what I need to highlight.

  875. Let me wipe over what I need to wipe over.

  876. Let me add it. Would you let God add it?

  877. They see the world needs Jesus, and God is looking

  878. for people that can send out. He's looking for vessels.

  879. And after you say yes to being a vessel, you're

  880. gonna let God fill the vessel. Fill it with what

  881. he wants to feel, right, what he wants to write.

  882. Some of you here, maybe the law has challenged you

  883. to start something, get involved in something. But I don't

  884. think I can. But if God says you can, you can. God,

  885. you know your stir might have to give to a

  886. family in need.

  887. I don't have. I don't have.

  888. I have some savings. I'm saving up for my wedding.

  889. I'm saving up for my dream car. I'm saving up

  890. for all that that break that I really need. God,

  891. why don't you ask somebody else's richer? God says, I'm

  892. asking you, and I don't know right this part of

  893. your life?

  894. Would you let him right?

  895. Some of us here we have different hopes and dreams

  896. in our life. Some of us here we you know

  897. we we we dream of just just just no random example.

  898. As I'm saying this, I don't want to hurt anyone,

  899. but you know, we all have dreams. Know we want

  900. to you know, get a job, find someone, get married,

  901. have kids, settled down you know, or set them down,

  902. have kids in that sequence. And about what if I'm

  903. saying this lovingly, but what if That's not God's plan

  904. for you? Would you hate him or would you serve him?

  905. You know?

  906. We we live in a culture where we glorify relationships

  907. and we make the single people feel like they are less,

  908. We make them feel cursed. And single people come to

  909. church and every time they go to a wedding day

  910. they feel like they are reminded I'm still alone. Every

  911. year past they feel like my eggs are drying up,

  912. you know. And there's nothing wrong with a desire to

  913. have children and to start a family, to be with somebody.

  914. But but God aways are higher. Don't get me wrong.

  915. You know, God can use families for missions. God can

  916. also use single people for missions. But what I'm saying

  917. is that, you know, can we let God write because sometimes,

  918. you know what the disappointments that we go through in

  919. life is self inflicted.

  920. It's self inflicted. You know.

  921. Let's say, for example, you're single, and God never find

  922. me anywhere in the Bible that says that if you're single,

  923. your cursed. But it says that, you know, be fruitful,

  924. multi blood. Yeah, but where does it say if you're

  925. single your curse. Show me where Jesus is said, you know,

  926. I wish that none of you are single. No, in fact,

  927. he says the opposite. Somebody asks Jesus, the way you

  928. describe marriage just like man, So isn't it better if

  929. you don't get married? And Jesus not a lot of

  930. people can handle that, and you stop talking and stop

  931. teaching that. But you know, the most blessed person in

  932. all creation is Jesus. And he was single, he had

  933. no biological children, he had no wife, and yet he's blessed.

  934. So it's self inflicted, self our disappointments, self inflicted, you know. Yeah,

  935. in the Old Testament before full multiplier, But in the

  936. New Testament it says that go and make disciples, and

  937. Jesus is saying that I'm doing a new thing in me.

  938. Even the single can have children, it's called spiritual children.

  939. And then when you have a chance to invest into

  940. people and see them saved, see them discover Jesus both

  941. can I marry. We've had, you know, an opportunity to

  942. really see one young girl's life transformed.

  943. She was radically saved by Jesus.

  944. And then we had the opportunity to disciple her, do

  945. life with her and don't see her baptized, see her

  946. get trained up as a as a leader. And then

  947. can I say, all this is like a spiritual child.

  948. And then we were like, oh, this is better because

  949. we don't need to give birth to her like Kat

  950. didn't have to.

  951. You know.

  952. Now now we have our own child, so that's different.

  953. Now I didn't have to change a know, the kind

  954. of thing. You know, I can just work through youth

  955. ministry and have somebody see.

  956. Me like a spiritual parent. Right.

  957. But what I'm saying is this that it can be

  958. a similar blessing. You know, you don't you don't have

  959. to self inflict. You don't, like, let God write. If

  960. God is writing this season of your life, you know,

  961. enjoy what God is writing, don't fight against it, right

  962. and and let let God be glorified. And maybe someone

  963. was here, you know, it's the same. Maybe you're praying

  964. God to heal you of a certain disease, and maybe

  965. God's not writing healing. God's writing persevering you persevere or

  966. would you give up? See a lot of times we

  967. give up our faith. We get angry with God when

  968. we don't have the right to. When God has always

  969. been there. He's the one that actually has right to

  970. be anger and disappointed.

  971. Yet he is.

  972. Anger is never long, and he's never disappointed, and it's

  973. always there, you know, Like the Father and the Parable

  974. of the Lost Son. The moment he sees the prodigal

  975. come back, he runs and covers, and nowhere in the

  976. Parable says that what did you do your inheritance? He

  977. gave him a ring, restores him. That's the God we serve.

  978. And so, friends, if God is asking to persevere, persevere.

  979. If God is asking to hang on, hang on and surrender,

  980. surrender your career maybe for someone us here. I know

  981. you're thinking, Man, I hate this job. It doesn't pay well.

  982. I hit this place.

  983. I want to know. My friends say, if you move

  984. to Singapore, you earn more money. If you move to

  985. that company, earn more money.

  986. If you move through this, you know you you get

  987. all of your dreams come true.

  988. That's what people say. But what about God? What is

  989. God saying?

  990. And maybe God is maybe your heart is crying for

  991. Singapore or whatever country, and God is writing Malaysia. You're

  992. crying off for marriage and God and saying them be single.

  993. And you go like, why am I ugly?

  994. God?

  995. And God says you're beautiful? If I'm beautiful, why my single?

  996. Because the story hasn't ended yet, Because maybe getting together,

  997. being married, the idea of a family is a good thing,

  998. but it's become an idol in your life. And if

  999. I give it to you, I will lose you, and

1000. I don't want to lose you. Let him write point

1001. out of three and the end of this, let God

1002. send you. See a postcard is not fun. If you

1003. have it, have you been there before? I definitely have

1004. been guilty. I can go traveling, I buy a postcar,

1005. Oh all right for my friend, and then I forget

  1006. to send it out?

1007. Have been there before? You know?

1008. You only send out or you return to your native country.

1009. Then the stem they get is from Malaysia. You know,

1010. wish you were here Colorado, USA? Why is the stem

1011. like good dad, a buddy? It's like what is this

1012. I mean, I mean those of you who you stamping,

1013. that's how you are like stamp is that you know?

1014. You know? Now you just I don't know tag them

1015. on Instagram. But I let God send you. Let God

1016. send you right and and if God's going to send you,

1017. let us send you everywhere. And if you're going to

1018. send you, then learn to see where you are placed.

1019. It's not just where you are, but where you are sent.

1020. Once you see your office as where you have been sent,

1021. it changes your perspective. Once you see your family as

1022. where you have been sent, it.

  1023. Changes your perspective.

1024. You know, I'll come from a broken family, but you've

1025. been sent there by God so that you can be

1026. light in the darkest of places.

1027. Well, I hate my company.

1028. My boss is a tyrant, and that's where you're being sent,

1029. not to be punished, so that you can be sought

1030. and light, so that that whole place can come to

1031. know Jesus. But you don't understand my boss is a tyrant.

1032. If Joseph can change the heart of the Pharaoh and

1033. Daniel and his friends never canzza I'm pretty sure your

  1034. boss is not.

  1035. As bad as that.

1036. If if if Daniel and his friends can change the

1037. heart of a person who at a whim can throw

  1038. people into the fire.

  1039. You know esself.

1040. You might be thinking that you have my boss. At

1041. a whim, he can fire me. Then you're in good

1042. company because because you know similar. No do you not

1043. see how similar you know? And it's now suddenly you

1044. go like, ah, I thought I'm working for you know something,

1045. something is in younger heart.

1046. It feels like it's some young Babylon. It's good.

1047. Then then if you feel like you're in a Babylon,

1048. then the Book of Danny becomes even more real and

1049. applicable to you. And God is merely showing you that

1050. it can be done. The giants in life can be defeated,

1051. the tyrants can be thrown down, and people can change.

1052. Would you see your school as where you're sent? Would

1053. you see your work as where you're sent? Would you

1054. see your church as where you've been sent? Would you

1055. see your postcode? Would you see Subanja as where you've

1056. been sent? Hey, man, let God send you, because like

1057. I said, the world, the world out there is desperate

1058. to know that there is hope. People are going through

1059. so much brokenness and they need to know that there

1060. is a God who can fix it.

  1061. People are.

1062. Being choked up by the opinions of others, and they

1063. need to know that there is a word that can

1064. set them free, that is better than the opinion of others,

1065. and it's the word of our Christ who loves them

1066. very much. But we got to be sent out because

1067. if we don't go, how would they know? No, yes,

1068. they want the workshops. I ask somebody, oh you went

1069. for the workshop, you know, because now I'm older, my

1070. eyesight is failing me and go like, oh I saw

1071. there's an acronym, not bl eess, no marketplace? What's beers say?

  1072. I don't know, they're jokingly, I say, be employed, is it?

1073. You know, like you know, or be at work?

  1074. You know.

1075. But you know, allchos deside maybe we need to be

1076. at work, you know, like like really be present at

1077. work and not just go there, you know. I know,

1078. yesterday I was having a conversation with my cousin and

1079. it's telling me how good he has it. I can

1080. work from home every day or do not have an

1081. office to go to God Lab. But then they allow

1082. me to work from home and they go like, why

1083. you know, where did you go? You can't love your

1084. neighbor if you're working from home, right, you can't know

1085. your colleague. If you're working from home, you can be

1086. a blessing if you're working from home. Now, the thing

1087. against working from home when you need to work from home,

1088. but think about it. If your work is where God

1089. has sent you, is working from home the best way

1090. to be sent. You're gotta ask yourself that. And it's

1091. God writing your day. You're writing today, I will work

  1092. from home.

1093. Haha. Would you let God have the final idea of that?

1094. And right, you see, unless we go out there, unless

1095. we have those conversations, unless we have that you know,

1096. cause sometimes this conversation had it wasn't like I didn't

1097. pry it out from them, you know, I didn't go.

  1098. Like, so how's your marriage? I didn't.

1099. And maybe there is already a certain grace when we

1100. carry the peace of God that when we end that

1101. when we sit down, there is something that glows from

1102. us that puts people at ease and they're just waiting

1103. for the right person to ask them. And you could

1104. be that right person. You could be that listening ear,

1105. you could be that mouthpiece. And sometimes what people need

1106. is not like oh no, what wor scripture to recite.

1107. Sometimes what people need is just a listening ear, just

1108. a hug, just a pet, or if you're so touched

1109. and so hurt by what they're going through, tears and

  1110. they will go like, I don't know whether there's a God,

1111. but all I know that is in my deepest and

1112. darkest moments, it was the Christians who cried with me.

  1113. I don't know if there's a God, but I know

1114. that in my loneliest moments, when I feel so unloved,

1115. when everyone is trying to cancel me, it was the

1116. Christians who stood with me. I don't know whether there's

1117. a God, but all I know is that when I

1118. was hungry and and and had nothing, it was the

1119. Christians who invited me over for a meal.

1120. It was a Christians who blessed me, or the Christians

  1121. who who? Who? Who?

1122. Who paid for my bill? And then then they meet

1123. another letter they see. They meet letter one, Christian number

1124. one that sits with. Then then they meet Christian number

1125. two that christ if. Then then they meet Christian number

1126. three that comforts, and they meet Christian number four who

1127. maybe shares the gospel. They meet Christian number five who

1128. invites them to church and meet Christian number six who who?

1129. And the story goes on.

1130. You know, if you get sent five postcards from the

1131. same place, don't you think that it's a sign you

1132. gotta visit? Right, it's only all five friends of yours

1133. start sending you postcards. You got to visit ePol. You're

1134. gonna be like, maybe I should visit Epo. You see,

1135. we just need to give God. Say God, use me

1136. God right over my life, over right. Help me to

1137. forgive those I need to forgive. Help me to let

1138. go what I need to let go. Help me not

1139. to become my own stumbling block to what you want

1140. to move this because that's what the devil wants. He

1141. wants us to inflict our own wound, get ourselves disappointed

1142. when God never disappointed us, so that it stops us

1143. from hearing and being sensitive to where God wants us

1144. to be, where God wants us to go. Some of

1145. us here, Maybe you're thinking of changing a job. Is

1146. it you who want or is it something that God

1147. wants some of us here? Maybe you're thinking of I

1148. don't know, God for a bid, change church or whatever.

1149. But is that something you want? Is that something once.

1150. Amen, Because at the end of the day, it's not

1151. about living for ourselves. We are letters of the Most

1152. High God, written in ink by His Holy Spirit.

  1153. There are hearts.

1154. No longer be tablets of stone, but tablets of flesh

1155. and blood that the world can see. Let's pray. Thank you, Lord, Lord,

1156. We thank you Lord, and we just asked Lord, would

  1157. you change us?

  1158. Lord?

1159. Every time you open up your word, let it be

1160. like a mirror that that shines in. And Lord, help

1161. us to change and help us to be transformed according

1162. to your word. And right now today I just want

1163. to pray and that my brother sister here. Then maybe

1164. they have been, you know, previously revived, but right now

1165. they are resting. Right now they are look warm. Friends,

1166. don't be look warm anymore? Friends, don't you know your

1167. past glory? Cannot say if you God's not done with

1168. you yet? Would you let him have you again? Or

1169. would you let him have all of you? Some of

1170. us here you say God has me, but friends, he

  1171. maybe he doesn't have.

  1172. All of you.

1173. Would you surrender and learn to surrender all of your life?

1174. Would you learn to surrender your relationship? Would you learn

1175. to surrender your family life? Would you learn to surrender

1176. your financers who learn to surrender not to men but

  1177. to God.

  1178. Amen?

1179. If your house, if if your life is like a house,

1180. what you know? Does Jesus have all access or does

1181. he have a basement that you say is don't touch?

1182. Or does he have a wardrobe that you say don't touch?

1183. Or does he have do you have a garage that

1184. it says don't touch? Or would you say, God, come

1185. and have it all? And those of us who have

1186. given God are all? Would you let him write and

1187. let him continue to write? Maybe some of you here

1188. you are struggling to understand why you know. You're saying, God,

  1189. I've been faithful, but I don't feel blessed.

  1190. God.

1191. I love you, but how come other people who don't

1192. know you seem to be overtaking me in career, overtaking

1193. me in life? And and Lord, I feel left behind God,

1194. I've been so faithful. Yeah, I feel left behind. I

1195. feel forgotten. Friends. I'm here to tell you lad, God right,

1196. and stop getting in the way, and and and and

1197. learn to live according to God's pace Because we serve

1198. for God, who says that the first shall be last

1199. and last shall be first. He works on a different

1200. his time line than us. He works from eternity.

  1201. He he he.

1202. He has a different point of view than us. He

1203. has Heaven's view of all of creation. To let him write.

1204. God knows what we need. Let him write, and also

1205. let him overwrite your plans and your purposes. Let him

1206. over write, let him add it. Let him highlight what

1207. he needs to highlight. Let him cross out what you

1208. need to cross out. Let him turn the page that

1209. you don't want to turn.

1210. Let him close the chapter.

1211. That you don't want to close, and so that he

1212. can open a new chapter for you. But let him

1213. write last one, not only after he's surrendered life. You're

1214. You're his writing on you. Then, friends begin to see

1215. where you are at as where you have been sent.

1216. You're in Malaysia because you've been sent here, not just

1217. born here, sent here. You're not just working there. You're

1218. sent there. It's more than the paycheck. You've been sent there.

1219. You know your neighborhood, your postcode. You're there not because

1220. you kind of thought better housing or whatever. You've been

1221. sent there. It's a rough street. You've been sent there.

1222. Why God, why would you send me? Don't you love me?

1223. I love you. That's why I'm sending you there, so

1224. that other people can be loved by me. Lord, have

1225. your way today, have your way, and forgive us of

1226. the many times where we've been so engrossed with our

1227. own routine and by own ones and needs, that we

1228. forget that you saved us, not so that we can

1229. collect us to heaven, but you saved us so that

1230. we can bring Heaven down to earth. And Lord, the

1231. world we need. The world right now does not look

1232. like Heaven. The world right now, Lord, there's so much

1233. undercurrents of sickness and disease, undercurrents of divorce, undercurrents of

1234. bodily pain, and and and and and sickness and and

1235. and Lord, the world needs you.

1236. The world needs you. The world needs your deliverance.

1237. The world needs your miracles now more than ever before.

1238. The world needs you. So, Lord, help us to be

1239. sent by you. And Lord, knowing that we are sent

1240. by you, help us to live a lifestyle of clean

1241. hands and pure heart, because you never know when you

1242. might just use us to speak, and you might use

1243. us to pray. And so Lord, help us to always

1244. be ready for your glory. In Jesus Na me pray.

  1245. Amen.

1246. Right, why don't we all stand and let's worship God

1247. a little bit more? Amen, hallelujah, Thank you Jesus, Thank

  1248. you Lord.

  1249. Amen.

1250. Amen, Let's ask God to just wash us clean as

1251. in the part is holy fire upon us again.

1252. Your path, you have me time come.

1253. That's why this is white.

1254. It's about jeezus cries spread.

1255. We need your holy spirit. Would you feel us a

  1256. fresh lawn?

1257. Lord, have your way over our lives, your times and geez,

  1258. says Criss, hallelujah.

1259. Let's just say and let your fire fall down. Hallelujah.

1260. That God wants sir, burn away the past eleves. We

1261. need your revival. Long, touch us again.

1262. Long. We don't want to be seeing go gone. We

1263. don't want to be selfish.

1264. Law, give us a new hearts, give us new eyes

  1265. to see.

1266. You, give us a new heart to feel. And you

  1267. have your were.

1268. We need you, holy spiral, that your fine holly.

  1269. Were five.

  1270. Money and fire.

1271. That's your speed fall fondness and your will being.

  1272. And your brill.

  1273. Till every time.

1274. Till every time con fast that gus, till every time

1275. con fast that geeze one more time till li every

1276. time come fast that Gesus cries.

1277. That's why it's about till every time confess as the

  1278. waters covers the.

1279. Sea and the earth. So Lord, we want people to

1280. know of your glory. Friends.

1281. Before we close this service, I pray that we will

1282. not only leave this place more open to what God

1283. wants to do in our lives, more surrendered, more submitted,

1284. tearing the old page of our own lifestyle and saying, God,

1285. write a new story. But I also just want to

1286. give people here who don't know Jesus the opportunity to

1287. know him. You see, like we said today, the world

1288. is broken, so much messed up stuff going out there.

1289. We're just even just scraping the tip of the iceberg.

1290. Crime, you know, corruption, poverty, just just you know, oppression, wars, family.

1291. Natural you know, you name it. The world. The world

  1292. is broken.

1293. It's not because of greenhouse effects or environmental reasons only.

1294. But there is a curse. The Bible says there is

1295. a curse upon this earth, a curse that came from

1296. our word disobedience to God. As humanity, we are living

1297. in disobedience against the Creator, and that's causing a malfunction

1298. to happen in all of creation. The Bible cause that

1299. a curse, and from that curse comes all forms of

1300. corruptions and mutations and all these things. God doesn't want

1301. us to perish. God doesn't want us to live under

1302. this curse. God wants to set us free. Christianity is

1303. not for people who think they can make it on

1304. their own. Is for people who realize that compared to

1305. God and his holiness, we are nothing but sinners. We

1306. cannot save ourselves. We are not smart enough, we're not

1307. clean enough, we're not pure enough.

  1308. We just can't.

1309. We can't even with the best intentions. We are not

1310. driven enough to save ourselves.

  1311. We need God.

1312. And so how you become a Christian simple as abc A.

1313. Admit that you need God, Admit that you are a sinner.

1314. Admit that I can't save myself. I need him. The

1315. problem with the world today it's me. It starts with me,

1316. it's all of us. But the solution also starts with me.

1317. So admit that you need God, and then believe in Jesus.

1318. Put your faith in him, not in the world, not

1319. on money, not on yourself, but put your faith in Jesus,

1320. the Son of God, Jesus who God, who was God.

  1321. But he came in.

1322. Human form, and he absorbed all the sin and and

1323. everything wrong that we've ever done. And then he went

1324. to the cross more than two thousand years ago and

1325. was crucified in our place. Believe in that, and not

1326. only believe in that man and his teaching, but believe

1327. in the fact that after he was crucified, he died

1328. and he rose again. We believe because Jesus rose again.

1329. If Jesus didn't rise, there's nothing he would just be

1330. in another man. But because he rose again, only God

1331. can overcome death. When he rose again, he was saying

1332. that I am God who made no way for you.

1333. So believe in him and then commit your life to him.

1334. Commit your life to follow him. That's what Christianity is.

1335. We're getting better each day, We're getting more healed each day.

1336. We're changed day by day, season by season. We just

1337. need to keep following Jesus.

1338. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
