But it is a reminder to all of us that

we are ought to move forward in Christ. Amen. Amen,

I don't know how many of you here are happy

in your jobs to remain stagnant. Hey, let's talk about

jobs first and foremost, even today on my leaving example, Right,

would you like to work for a company and not

receive a pay salary high for ten years?

No?

If you did not receive a pay salary high even

for one year, you start the question already, right, boss?

How come no? You know? How come no increement? How

come no bonus? Yeah? But if you didn't perform well,

then to belah. Right, but if you really give your best,

I don't know if you really try your best. And

some of you are business owners here, right, you see

your staff doing well, you will also like to reward

what Scripture thinks about the word stagnant and what the

scripture says about moving forwards. If you have your Bibles

of what God did. Okay, many believers, including myself, we

live off the films of what God did rather than

the fire of what God is doing. We often reminisce

about past revivals, past obedience, even past miracles. While God

my leg. God delivered me from cancer, fourth stage cancer.

Now where am I getting it? Whenever we read this

scripture Hebrews eleven one, it is directed to the he

that's directed to the she is directed to the it is.

That means it's directed to you, each general one of us.

Because the English part does not have the word st

in front of now. But if you open the Greek

Bible you will read st now. So next light you

will see the definition and the rewording of the scripture

as but the original Greek meaning it says, at this

present moment, faith is a substance of things hopeful, the

evidence of things not seen? Now does it? Does it say?

the writer of Hebrews says, now faith is, he's not

merely describing when faith operates. He's declaring how faith exists.

So if you want faith to exist in your life,

you got to grabs this concept that faith operates in

the now. Amen, faith operates in the now. Faith exists

in the present tense because God exists in the eternal present.

That's who our God is. He exists in the eternal present.

What does that even mean. It's like a paradox right,

present but eternal. Yeah, Because he is the same yesterday,

today and forever now. He exists yesterday, today and forevermore.

He's the beginning, he's the end, he's the Alpha, he's

the Omega, he is the first, and he is the last. Amen.

So that's who our God is. And that's why faith

exists in the present tense. Because when even when God

revealed himself to Moses, he said, he did not say

I was, he did not say I will be, But

he introduced himself as I am who I am. God

is not just that I was or just that I

will be. He is the I Am. That means he

exists in the now in your life. He is walking

with you, Amen, all the step of the way. He

is with you yesterday, he is with you today, and

he will be with you forevermore. But it's important for

all of us to grab this concept. Amen. Blessed a

those who have seen, who have not seen and yet

have believed. Blessed aduls who have not seen and yet believed.

That is the substance of faith. The more forward in Christ.

We must discern that God is a progressive God. Do

we believe that? Amen? If we want to move forward,

glory to glory, from faith to faith, and from strength

to glory, from faith to faith, and from strength to strength,

that is what God is after. Amen. Faith was never

meant to stay still. State moment number two. Faith was

never meant to stay still Philippins' three verse thirteen the

forties stays, But one thing I do forgetting those things

which are behind, and reaching forward to those things which

are ahead. I press towards the goal for the price

of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Wow,

can you imagine Paul writing this. He's saying that whatever

accolades that he have achieved, whatever salvations that he have,

you know, brought unto the Lord, then the Lord saved

those people. He's saying that you've got to forget of

those things, forget of those things which are behind. But

content he knew to reach forwards testimony after testimony, daily

bread after daily bread, and he presses forwards towards the

goal for the price of the upward call in God

in Christ Jesus. You know, we live in a time

where many Christians. I hope that's not all of us,

But if it is, I pray that the world of

God is like a double a just thought. It's there

to convict our hearts. Amen, Holy Spirit, I pray will

continue to convict your hearts as well as he does me.

He does. But many of us today we live in

a time where Christians perhaps are satisfied with what was

past faith, past encounters, past miracles. Next like Stevie friends,

And what author does is he writes. And he's not

just only the author, he's also the finisher there is,

he's about to finish your story. In his eyes, he's

done already. He knows how it's going to end. But

we here on this earth, we are living. We don't

know what's going to happen tomorrow. We don't know what's

going to happen the day after tomorrow. When we start

celebrating past miracles as monuments and we just keep looking

at that, we stop moving. And when we stop moving,

it gets very dangerous, all right, especially as believers, It

gets very very dangerous when you stop moving. If our

greatest stories of faith I always from back then, you know,

sometimes your children will ask you, daddy, diddy, tell me,
