Two messages went actually for you, two messages, and I

was weighing our weaying away denseritly the Lord gave me

the confirmation last night or maybe even this morning. You

know that. Okay, this one, this one. Choose this one

for us, save the other one for another time whenever

they invite you back, if they invite you back. Uh.

Then I got confirmation early on when Joe your last song,

there was one confirmation. And then of course when Albert

came up and you used a scripture there that used

the word confident, I thought of myself, Wow, So every

Sunday we hear the word confident. No. But my question

here for us on this slide is where's your confidence? Okay,

quickly now because the technician is coming. Holy Spirit, Please,

I don't want to rush you. Okay, you just work

with me. You know, where there is lay, there is

there will be confidence. Where there is confidence, there will

be courage. This is a statement that God gave me

many years ago. Because I work with people so much,

I realized that when people are not confident about something,

it's maybe because they're not clear. It's like you tell

the worship team, right, Joe, I'm sure you have to

be very clear. I think I heard you say all

eyes on me. Okay, just just you know, I think

a good worship reader is like saying, like, hey, watch Mila,

watch Mila, because I'm going to give you signals. Right

if you're thinking about, you know what the beautif I

hear what they be, you'd be like lost. So so

you've got to be clear. Come on, guys, clear four

songs whatever you know. Okay, I'm gonna, you know, be

jumping here. Uh uh, you know, work with me. I'm gonna,

you know, play this so clear. Now, why are we

also confident? Why was it such a confident worship time

that's now because everybody was clear. Why is your staff

confident to do that work you send him because you

were clear with him. When you don't give clean instructions

to your staff and expect him to be confident, we

are the ones to be blamed. Now. Finally, of course

you get courage. So courage even of studying this church

ex church, came from being confident that God will be

with me. But it came from clarity that God will

definitely honor his word when he says go we go,

and he will bless us. Amen. So I want to

talk about confidence. So the next slight says, confidence is powerful.

It's really powerful. There's a lot that you can do.

I'm studying for my doctorate in business administration and dba's

a lot of people ask me, why don't you do theology.

I thought to myself, you know theology. I just asked

the Lord Loud to help me. You know, say yeah,

but I was offered to do this by a doctor

Go Chileong from Help, the CEO of Help. He says,

you want to study some honor. I said, I'm studying

the word of God every day. He says, yeah. But

you know, this is something that you could do because

when you write your thesis, it doesn't have to be

on business. It can be on the business of God's work.

It can be on the business of a ya, the

business of the organization. So having led a YA for

thirty years, you know they only allow people with twenty

five years and above to do this. DBA. And Tan

kun Swan, the former MCA president eighty five years old,

just did this and he just got his doctorate in

April eighty five. Wow. Okay, so I think he wrote

about something that he did that collapse. I think it

was multipurpose that that company collapse. So he says, I'm

going to write about why it collapse. It's amazing, Gostess,

It's found in no other book. So he's going to

write the book and then get a DBA for that. Okay.

So why why am I able to do this? Because

first of all, I had to ask God, God, is

it you? Are you with me? You know? Are you

going to be with me as I do this? Because

I don't need this, but if you a sense that

I need to do it, I will do it. And

then Lord told me it's not just a paper, is

the people. And so I would be working with a

lot of people in my age group K fifty five

and above and sixty and sixty five and eighty five okay,

and all these corporate giants and top in their field,

and many of them non Christian. So this give me

an open door because I got a stand up and share,

I've got a proposal defense, i've got to viva, I've

got to do all these things in front of all

these non believing professors. So I thought of myself, Wow,

what an opportunity, because I'm writing on and my theoretical framework.

If any of you understand what this is, you have

to have a theoretical framework to support orp. The foundation

of your thesis is the Bible. So I'm putting the

Bible down and then of course a few more secular

theoretical frameworks. But you know, doctor Gouchilong said, are you

using the Bible as your third I said yeah. I said,

You're probably the only one. And I would tell them

that the last thirty five years of doing this, you know,

the Bible has been my guide. And towards the end

I share about a YA and X as an organization.

I'm going to show them some scriptures. So this thesis

will be quite heavy on scripture. But it's not enough

that you have to still present some secular points. And okay, fine,

no problem. I'm a lending also. But confidence is so

powerful that you can do things that you never thought

you could do as long as you're confident enough. But

of force, it comes from from clarity. But when you

have confidence, a lot you can do. And the Lord

wants his people to be confident and you will see

dreams come true. You will see the impossible become possible

because of confidence that comes from the Lord. In the

fear of the Lord, says the Bible, there is strong

confidence Proverbs fourteen, verse twenty six. And his children will

have a place of refuge. A place of refuge means

a place of safety. All right. So sometimes you think

you're confident, and then but you'll fall. You're confident, and

then you will, you know, be scammed. You're confident, and

then you will be shot down. No, at the end

of the day, when your confidence come from the Lord,

he will make sure as a child of God, you

will have a place of refuge. Amen, all of us

will be safe at the end of the day. If

you believe it, Say amen, Philippines one six, being confident

of this very thing, that he who has begun a

good work in you will complete it until the day

of Jesus Christ. All right, very important. Next flight says

discipleship is not a competition, but a consciousness. All right.

What does that mean? Next light one is based on

what we do. Competition. Now, I know that discipleship sometimes

can be very stressful because we think is a competition.

Now we don't always think it's a competition. But the

way we think like I haven't prayed enough, I haven't

given enough, I haven't fast enough, or Passasandra seems to

have done more than I have done. I think if

I can only do more, God will accept me. If

I can only do more, God will love me more.

And sometimes if if we're not careful. I don't think

we are taught like they're in church. But somebodys you

can come into our minds that doing is actually discipleship.

But I want to say that being is discipleship, being

first before doing. And my leading of Spo Vision Retreat

come and of September I'm going to be sharing with

all the Passes and all the elders who will be

there the Speo Retreat, please pray for us. And of

September it will be our Spuo Vision Retreat. I'm going

to tell them that for twenty twenty six, I'm going

to lead ex Church to focus more on being than doing,

because when you focus on being, the doing is natural.

If you just do and forget about being, if you

just do and don't have fire, if you just do

and don't have fuel, don't have energy inside of you

don't have revival in your heart. I'll tell you, what

you're doing will be just one of those you know,

chores and you drag your feet. Brother, I don't think

you're just doing worship. I think you are being worship

and that's why you're doing comes out like that. It

comes from your heart. And I think everybody else, including Albert,

I don't think he's just doing because really being the

only one doing this and carrying all these equipment, I

think of myself. Yeah, a long time or so I

would have given up, but there's something within and God

wants to reach deep inside of us and continue to

stir up fire and faith and revival. So I want

to ask church, you know, not just to do do do. Yeah,

we will still do because that's part of discipleship, but

part of doing must come out of being. So I

want to focus more on teaching the word, you know,

a praying for people, asking for revival, fire to come

into our hearts. Everybody on fire for God, you know.

And then I tell you what, when people are on fire,

you don't even have to ask to do. They will

sign up. They will say, hey, how come you know

asking me? Because fire cannot be contained one. Okay, it

has to be. It has to have a channel, otherwise

you burn up. Okay, don't not burn out, but burn

up because too much fire. So fire need channel and

you will asked for that channel. Please involve me past.

I want to go for missions, I want to give

you know, but sometimes the doing overtakes and then we forget. Oh,

then we know we don't have any more juice, you

know in us. So may the Lord give us more juice,

more fuel, more fire, and so the doing will be natural,

but the being must be disciples. Okay. So one is

based on what we do. Competition, competition, competition. We don't

we don't want to fight or race with one another. Okay.

You might do your quiet time one hour. I do

mine maybe one and a half hours. It doesn't matter.

You know, you understand My pres is between us and God,

and what works for you works for you. Great. We

don't want to compete, No, but we want to s

that Jesus has already done it all for us. Okay.

So consciousness means you are conscious of the truth that

your Christianity is based on what He has done, not

what you will do. Are you all saying to me

and so when you sang that last song, I speak Jesus.

It was confirmed that today the Lord gave me a

message that he wants us to remember that it's all

about him, Him, not denomination, not even church name. Although

all of us love acts church is not even our

church name. Our church didn't die for us. Jesus died

for us, all right. I mean, the Catholics respect the

Pope a lot, and you know they should, but the

Pope didn't die for you. Jesus is the only one

that died for us. So the next slight says, all

of Christianity is found in one name, Jesus, every thing,

And I hope you just think about it. Although it's

so simple, you just think about it for a moment.

Did you come here because of him? Yeah? Did you

worship because of him? Did you give because of him?

Are you serving as a homes leader because of him?

Are you giving to tithes and offer it because of him? Aven?

So it's simple, I know, but sometimes forgotten when it

becomes so complicated, right that we just get so so tired.

You know, complication actually can bring tiredness to our hearts.

Then God had to come again and give clarity and

then comes confidence, and then comes courage, and then you

know it goes to the cycle again. All right, Jesus,

sow Jesus from the mountain. I love that. I love that. Wow.

You know I've come here today and the Lord us

to remind us all that every single thing about Christianity,

it's not even church, it's not denomination, it's not nothing.

It's Jesus. All right. Now, let me share with you

my favorite Oh sometimes we shouldn't say favorite, la, because

every verse should be our favorite lae. But you know, okay, La,

and the more excellent it is, the better. Let's be

very honest. I'm not sure if Apostle Paul walk in

I'm just not sure if you didn't introduce himself as

I am Apostle Paul, the one that wrote all the epistles. Uh,

you know, the Paul epistles and the Pli Epistle is

the his letters, not his wife. Okay.

Someone wants said that the wife of an apostle is

a piece of No, it's it's his letters, okay, and

you hold on to the epistle, right, uh and uh

and and and he apostle Paul comes to you right

have to look good. Word because how can I pray

get I'm trying to say, because we are not used

to that. We're used to preachers at the front looking good.

because I want you to check your own mind and heart.

What creature are you really looking for? And I think

a lot of people are. You know, somebody's even changing

church up because they're just looking at creature or looking

at worship. Be there, Thank God, we have one that's

The Bible also says in Isaiah, when you look at Jesus,

people who pass him by. You know, have you ever

read Isaiah there is nothing to look at? Basically it's

your confidence? So he said, I am the way the

truth of life. No one comes with Father except through me.

Jesus is saying me, me, I Jesus, I am your way,

your truth, your life. Okay, no one comes with the

Father except through me. Now next life, the devil is

not afraid of any other name but the name of Jesus.

Do you know that? Do you know that? No? Serious?

Do you really know that? Because sometimes I think when

we are casting out demons, I don't know how many

of you do that on a daily basis. Uh. Sometimes

you have to cast out demons from yourself, though, But

we use a lot of other names, not just name,

not of people's names, but names as in like I

learned from Bible school, or I learned from that training.

You've got to do this and that, and then you

list down a whole list of how to pray right,

and then we pray a long prayer to cast out

the demon, and then we end in the name of Jesus.

The shortest part of that whole prayer is in the

name of Jesus. And that's the only name. That's the

only sentence that works. Without that sentence in the name

of Jesus or the other prayer before, it doesn't work.

Do you also understand I don't have time to do

it today. But when I look at scripture, oh one,

I just give you one. I think we're gonna read

it later, but I'll give you one now in advance.

Peter and I think it's Peter. And is it James

and you know how he prayed. He says, in the

name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk. I

don't know why we have changed it to leaving his

name last. Just think for a moment, because almost all Christians.

not the name of Jesus there. But we pray long

prayer language, in your eloquency. That's why a lot of

people are scart to pray, you know, most people who

I don't know how to pray like him or her

people are scared because they think they have to reach

the truth, then that's your confidence. And we think that

to being confident in one name. There is a new

this place in your life. Everything the devil wants to

say to you has to go through Jesus first. I

learned this from the Lord because the devil whispers to

me quite often. I don't know why. I know when

I was in jeder he whispered to me, and somebody

he's whispered very Lola said, huh, serve Godsama, serve Godsomre.

He'd even protect you from this injury. Ah, serve Godzoma.

He likes to whisper, especially when we're downt you know,

when we are downer, he likes to kick us. I

don't know when I will ever see you again in

terms of speeching to you, so I'll give I'll give

you one thought. There is a scripture where Jesus was tempted.

Matthew four. Your member is Meanthew Chapter four, three temptations. Right.

You know when the devil finally left Jesus. You know

what the Bible she says, he left Jesus for an

opportune time. That means for another time he will come

and attack Jesus again. Do you know what I learned

about opportunity time? Even in my injury. This is fourth

manner of recovering her. So all my quiet time has

been deep. There has not been one day or in

this last four months that my quiet time has not

has been shortened in two hours. So if you tell

the most high. You think the devil want to come

and affect you the time, wasting his time because he

knows you were flicking with your finger because of your faith.

He comes when we are down, and he whispers, anyone

here give up when you're up. No one here in

this room gives up when you are up. No one

here gives up when you have money in your pocket.

No one gives up about when you have energy. No

when you're tired. Nobody appreciates you like the flyer that

the fly. You know what the Bible calls h the

devil bears about and bearls about, meaning is lord of

the flies flies. And that's why every time you see

pictures of the poor and the down and the depressed,

flies are everywhere on their eyes and the nose, their poverty,

stricken and they're dying. And you know, because the devil's

domain is there and flies are everywhere. You don't see

flies where the area is clean because the blood of

lamb just clear cleansed you, and you are clean, and

the fly doesn't want to come near. But when you're down,

and when you're entertaining depressing thoughts and I want to

kill myself thoughts, it becomes unclean. You entertain unclean thoughts.

I want to divorce. Not that you are bad, but

you entertain them. And so now the flies come and

he's the lord of the flies, bears about. But there's

a new esopoenaw when Jesus comes and become lord of

your life. He is lord in your heart. He's master

of your life. He says to me. No, you know

what Jesus said to me when I was really down,

He says, Kenneth, tell the devil to see me. He

spoke to me at that. So the next time we

speake to my ear the devil shut up. Go and

see my new boss. You're not allowed to speak to

me directly, you know, officer. People know the salesman will

come to the office. No, no, no, go into the

other room. You are not allowed to come to this floor.

You're not allowed to come to the office. This is off.

This is only staph on me. So right here, only

Christians believers are okay. If you want to sell anything

to me, selling to my boss for us. My boss

says yes, then you come. And how many are you

think that Jesus will say yes to the devil? Yeah?

You know no. And even if Jesus ever said yes

to the devil, you can, devil, you can test my son.

But you think Jesus will leave us a lord? He

will come with that, he would be besides testament see testament.

See And yes, the devil has tested me many times,

but the Lord has been glorified because Jesus is right

by my side. He would never leave us. All there's

a new sop in town. Please remember that. And whatever

the devil's trying to whisper into a ear, say, be quiet.

You're not allowed to speak to me directly. Go to

my boss speak to Himah amen. Just I'll just review

something that was very close to my heart. Maybe you

say it passed away to find in the scripture. I'm

sure you find that somewhere, right, Because Jesus is now

Lord of our lives, and all that Satan ever had

in charge of you, he's no longer in charge. Now

Now I want you to think for a moment about

the Holy Communion. What do you know about holy communion

every time you take it. There's a scripture, right, there's

a scripture that says in the first Corindians up to eleven,

verse twenty three to twenty six, I received from the Lord, right,

I delivered to you that which I also received from

So the bottom line of communion, the bottom line purpose

for communion is to remember Jesus. Okay, now think about

it for a moment. Now do you think that? Now?

He said, as often as you take it. So I

take it every morning, Okay. I get Elder Shirley, who's

three years now, so I can't be that bad a

bossa twenty three years my pa. And so every time

I need something, I just actually I need communion as

are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

But if you're not careful, a lot of us are

surviving in our Christianity by the worship songs we're listening,

and that worship songs or pray songs is stimulating your faith.

And if you don't have that, your faith is down

or stimulating your faith by the church you go to. Also. Now,

of course you say you're very bold to say that,

because some people go, oh, therefore axes second reader, Jesus first,

I'd rather you do that. Hi, Rather you forget about

acts and make sure that Jesus is on the throne

of your heart. But a lot of people, oh, you know,

Just answer me one question. The angel says, what gives

you the right to enter heaven? It's not a trick question,

it's not a hard question. I pray that you will

be able to answer. Answer like the man who was

hung on the cross next to Jesus. That man said, Lord,

remember me when you come into your glory. And Jesus

said to that man, that criminal who was hanging on

the cross, Surely, I say to you today you will

be with me in Paradise. I hope that you answer

like that man. What did that man answer? I think

he's going to answer like this, he's going to answer

the angel Angel. I wasn't even baptized. I didn't have

time to I was hanging on the cross next to Jesus. Angel.

I didn't even know Jesus before he was there on

I saw that he was a righteous man. I saw
