  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Two messages went actually for you, two messages, and I

  4. was weighing our weaying away denseritly the Lord gave me

  5. the confirmation last night or maybe even this morning. You

  6. know that. Okay, this one, this one. Choose this one

  7. for us, save the other one for another time whenever

  8. they invite you back, if they invite you back. Uh.

  9. Then I got confirmation early on when Joe your last song,

  10. there was one confirmation. And then of course when Albert

  11. came up and you used a scripture there that used

  12. the word confident, I thought of myself, Wow, So every

  13. Sunday we hear the word confident. No. But my question

  14. here for us on this slide is where's your confidence? Okay,

  15. quickly now because the technician is coming. Holy Spirit, Please,

  16. I don't want to rush you. Okay, you just work

  17. with me. You know, where there is lay, there is

  18. there will be confidence. Where there is confidence, there will

  19. be courage. This is a statement that God gave me

  20. many years ago. Because I work with people so much,

  21. I realized that when people are not confident about something,

  22. it's maybe because they're not clear. It's like you tell

  23. the worship team, right, Joe, I'm sure you have to

  24. be very clear. I think I heard you say all

  25. eyes on me. Okay, just just you know, I think

  26. a good worship reader is like saying, like, hey, watch Mila,

  27. watch Mila, because I'm going to give you signals. Right

  28. if you're thinking about, you know what the beautif I

  29. hear what they be, you'd be like lost. So so

  30. you've got to be clear. Come on, guys, clear four

  31. songs whatever you know. Okay, I'm gonna, you know, be

  32. jumping here. Uh uh, you know, work with me. I'm gonna,

  33. you know, play this so clear. Now, why are we

  34. also confident? Why was it such a confident worship time

  35. that's now because everybody was clear. Why is your staff

  36. confident to do that work you send him because you

  37. were clear with him. When you don't give clean instructions

  38. to your staff and expect him to be confident, we

  39. are the ones to be blamed. Now. Finally, of course

  40. you get courage. So courage even of studying this church

  41. ex church, came from being confident that God will be

  42. with me. But it came from clarity that God will

  43. definitely honor his word when he says go we go,

  44. and he will bless us. Amen. So I want to

  45. talk about confidence. So the next slight says, confidence is powerful.

  46. It's really powerful. There's a lot that you can do.

  47. I'm studying for my doctorate in business administration and dba's

  48. a lot of people ask me, why don't you do theology.

  49. I thought to myself, you know theology. I just asked

  50. the Lord Loud to help me. You know, say yeah,

  51. but I was offered to do this by a doctor

  52. Go Chileong from Help, the CEO of Help. He says,

  53. you want to study some honor. I said, I'm studying

  54. the word of God every day. He says, yeah. But

  55. you know, this is something that you could do because

  56. when you write your thesis, it doesn't have to be

  57. on business. It can be on the business of God's work.

  58. It can be on the business of a ya, the

  59. business of the organization. So having led a YA for

  60. thirty years, you know they only allow people with twenty

  61. five years and above to do this. DBA. And Tan

  62. kun Swan, the former MCA president eighty five years old,

  63. just did this and he just got his doctorate in

  64. April eighty five. Wow. Okay, so I think he wrote

  65. about something that he did that collapse. I think it

  66. was multipurpose that that company collapse. So he says, I'm

  67. going to write about why it collapse. It's amazing, Gostess,

  68. It's found in no other book. So he's going to

  69. write the book and then get a DBA for that. Okay.

  70. So why why am I able to do this? Because

  71. first of all, I had to ask God, God, is

  72. it you? Are you with me? You know? Are you

  73. going to be with me as I do this? Because

  74. I don't need this, but if you a sense that

  75. I need to do it, I will do it. And

  76. then Lord told me it's not just a paper, is

  77. the people. And so I would be working with a

  78. lot of people in my age group K fifty five

  79. and above and sixty and sixty five and eighty five okay,

  80. and all these corporate giants and top in their field,

  81. and many of them non Christian. So this give me

  82. an open door because I got a stand up and share,

  83. I've got a proposal defense, i've got to viva, I've

  84. got to do all these things in front of all

  85. these non believing professors. So I thought of myself, Wow,

  86. what an opportunity, because I'm writing on and my theoretical framework.

  87. If any of you understand what this is, you have

  88. to have a theoretical framework to support orp. The foundation

  89. of your thesis is the Bible. So I'm putting the

  90. Bible down and then of course a few more secular

  91. theoretical frameworks. But you know, doctor Gouchilong said, are you

  92. using the Bible as your third I said yeah. I said,

  93. You're probably the only one. And I would tell them

  94. that the last thirty five years of doing this, you know,

  95. the Bible has been my guide. And towards the end

  96. I share about a YA and X as an organization.

  97. I'm going to show them some scriptures. So this thesis

  98. will be quite heavy on scripture. But it's not enough

  99. that you have to still present some secular points. And okay, fine,

  100. no problem. I'm a lending also. But confidence is so

  101. powerful that you can do things that you never thought

  102. you could do as long as you're confident enough. But

  103. of force, it comes from from clarity. But when you

  104. have confidence, a lot you can do. And the Lord

  105. wants his people to be confident and you will see

  106. dreams come true. You will see the impossible become possible

  107. because of confidence that comes from the Lord. In the

  108. fear of the Lord, says the Bible, there is strong

  109. confidence Proverbs fourteen, verse twenty six. And his children will

  110. have a place of refuge. A place of refuge means

  111. a place of safety. All right. So sometimes you think

  112. you're confident, and then but you'll fall. You're confident, and

  113. then you will, you know, be scammed. You're confident, and

  114. then you will be shot down. No, at the end

  115. of the day, when your confidence come from the Lord,

  116. he will make sure as a child of God, you

  117. will have a place of refuge. Amen, all of us

  118. will be safe at the end of the day. If

  119. you believe it, Say amen, Philippines one six, being confident

  120. of this very thing, that he who has begun a

  121. good work in you will complete it until the day

  122. of Jesus Christ. All right, very important. Next flight says

  123. discipleship is not a competition, but a consciousness. All right.

  124. What does that mean? Next light one is based on

  125. what we do. Competition. Now, I know that discipleship sometimes

  126. can be very stressful because we think is a competition.

  127. Now we don't always think it's a competition. But the

  128. way we think like I haven't prayed enough, I haven't

  129. given enough, I haven't fast enough, or Passasandra seems to

  130. have done more than I have done. I think if

  131. I can only do more, God will accept me. If

  132. I can only do more, God will love me more.

  133. And sometimes if if we're not careful. I don't think

  134. we are taught like they're in church. But somebodys you

  135. can come into our minds that doing is actually discipleship.

  136. But I want to say that being is discipleship, being

  137. first before doing. And my leading of Spo Vision Retreat

  138. come and of September I'm going to be sharing with

  139. all the Passes and all the elders who will be

  140. there the Speo Retreat, please pray for us. And of

  141. September it will be our Spuo Vision Retreat. I'm going

  142. to tell them that for twenty twenty six, I'm going

  143. to lead ex Church to focus more on being than doing,

  144. because when you focus on being, the doing is natural.

  145. If you just do and forget about being, if you

  146. just do and don't have fire, if you just do

  147. and don't have fuel, don't have energy inside of you

  148. don't have revival in your heart. I'll tell you, what

  149. you're doing will be just one of those you know,

  150. chores and you drag your feet. Brother, I don't think

  151. you're just doing worship. I think you are being worship

  152. and that's why you're doing comes out like that. It

  153. comes from your heart. And I think everybody else, including Albert,

  154. I don't think he's just doing because really being the

  155. only one doing this and carrying all these equipment, I

  156. think of myself. Yeah, a long time or so I

  157. would have given up, but there's something within and God

  158. wants to reach deep inside of us and continue to

  159. stir up fire and faith and revival. So I want

  160. to ask church, you know, not just to do do do. Yeah,

  161. we will still do because that's part of discipleship, but

  162. part of doing must come out of being. So I

  163. want to focus more on teaching the word, you know,

  164. a praying for people, asking for revival, fire to come

  165. into our hearts. Everybody on fire for God, you know.

  166. And then I tell you what, when people are on fire,

  167. you don't even have to ask to do. They will

  168. sign up. They will say, hey, how come you know

  169. asking me? Because fire cannot be contained one. Okay, it

  170. has to be. It has to have a channel, otherwise

  171. you burn up. Okay, don't not burn out, but burn

  172. up because too much fire. So fire need channel and

  173. you will asked for that channel. Please involve me past.

  174. I want to go for missions, I want to give

  175. you know, but sometimes the doing overtakes and then we forget. Oh,

  176. then we know we don't have any more juice, you

  177. know in us. So may the Lord give us more juice,

  178. more fuel, more fire, and so the doing will be natural,

  179. but the being must be disciples. Okay. So one is

  180. based on what we do. Competition, competition, competition. We don't

  181. we don't want to fight or race with one another. Okay.

  182. You might do your quiet time one hour. I do

  183. mine maybe one and a half hours. It doesn't matter.

  184. You know, you understand My pres is between us and God,

  185. and what works for you works for you. Great. We

  186. don't want to compete, No, but we want to s

  187. that Jesus has already done it all for us. Okay.

  188. So consciousness means you are conscious of the truth that

  189. your Christianity is based on what He has done, not

  190. what you will do. Are you all saying to me

  191. and so when you sang that last song, I speak Jesus.

  192. It was confirmed that today the Lord gave me a

  193. message that he wants us to remember that it's all

  194. about him, Him, not denomination, not even church name. Although

  195. all of us love acts church is not even our

  196. church name. Our church didn't die for us. Jesus died

  197. for us, all right. I mean, the Catholics respect the

  198. Pope a lot, and you know they should, but the

  199. Pope didn't die for you. Jesus is the only one

  200. that died for us. So the next slight says, all

  201. of Christianity is found in one name, Jesus, every thing,

  202. And I hope you just think about it. Although it's

  203. so simple, you just think about it for a moment.

  204. Did you come here because of him? Yeah? Did you

  205. worship because of him? Did you give because of him?

  206. Are you serving as a homes leader because of him?

  207. Are you giving to tithes and offer it because of him? Aven?

  208. So it's simple, I know, but sometimes forgotten when it

  209. becomes so complicated, right that we just get so so tired.

  210. You know, complication actually can bring tiredness to our hearts.

  211. Then God had to come again and give clarity and

  212. then comes confidence, and then comes courage, and then you

  213. know it goes to the cycle again. All right, Jesus,

  214. sow Jesus from the mountain. I love that. I love that. Wow.

  215. You know I've come here today and the Lord us

  216. to remind us all that every single thing about Christianity,

  217. it's not even church, it's not denomination, it's not nothing.

  218. It's Jesus. All right. Now, let me share with you

  219. my favorite Oh sometimes we shouldn't say favorite, la, because

  220. every verse should be our favorite lae. But you know, okay, La,

  221. Let's also not be overly sp spiritual. We do have

  222. my favorite versus right, my one of my favorite ones.

  223. And if if ever I go to home to be

  224. with the Lord, before you do my prayer every day?

  225. Is that if my prayer every day almost every day,

  226. not every daya once a week, I will pray Lord,

  227. if between my wife and I, if one of us

  228. have to go home to be with you first, please

  229. let it be me. Okay, because my wife is very strong,

  230. she can exist herself. I will melt without my wife,

  231. I will melt. I will know. Yeah, what a way

  232. to score points? Right, shout Jesus from the mountain. Jesus. Yeah, yeah,

  233. I cover back where where Albert Phield I cover back.

  234. We cover each other up. So I said, Lord, you know,

  235. uh take me home first, you know, and then leave

  236. all the money for my wife. All right, Okay, okay,

  237. first Corinthians two one to five. And I, brethren, when

  238. I came to you did not come with excellence of speech.

  239. This is Paul the Apostle talking, all right. Not with

  240. excellence of speech. Huh. Now, this is Paul the Apostle talking,

  241. and he's saying to us that he did not come

  242. with excellence of speech. And I think a lot of

  243. us are. Uh. Let's be honest. We like good preaching,

  244. and the more excellent it is, the better. Let's be

  245. very honest. I'm not sure if Apostle Paul walk in

  246. here this afternoon, whether you like his preaching or no.

  247. I'm just not sure if you didn't introduce himself as

  248. I am Apostle Paul, the one that wrote all the epistles. Uh,

  249. you know, the Paul epistles and the Pli Epistle is

  250. the his letters, not his wife. Okay.

  251. Uh.

  252. Someone wants said that the wife of an apostle is

  253. a piece of No, it's it's his letters, okay, and

  254. you hold on to the epistle, right, uh and uh

  255. and and and he apostle Paul comes to you right

  256. and his ball he's he he's he's his he's his

  257. weak looking uh and his small size and now he

  258. he's preaching. Is ha hi, hi everyone. My name is Paul. Yeah.

  259. I used to be sore, and you know, so you were,

  260. you know, look at your watch. He's saying, do you

  261. are no excellence of speech, no wisdom, declaring to you

  262. the testiny of God. Then I underline this one. This

  263. is my favorite part of it, for I determined not

  264. to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.

  265. This is this is, this is hey. I don't think

  266. he's bluffing when he's saying that he's he's just saying

  267. to you, I got a lot I can tell you.

  268. And there are a lot of good pictures out there.

  269. I think they call Apollos preacher. He was eloquent, he

  270. was an orator, all right. But Paul is saying, I

  271. don't have all that. I've got power that comes from

  272. the Holy Spirit, but I don't have presentation. But today

  273. we celebrate presentation A lot yeah, I know you will

  274. give maybe two over ten for my slights. I know

  275. what you love? He us what slids? What is this?

  276. This is a sneeze? Truly need thing came out? You

  277. know like that? Right, there's no like okay, passender's like different.

  278. Oh you should have seen her side to doay. Oh

  279. my word, that's how you use kenva right? Huh kenva.

  280. I don't even know how spelled it. But he said

  281. I determine not to know. So that means that, let's

  282. be honest, Paul was a boring preacher, so boring that

  283. when he was preaching up people fell off the window

  284. and then died downstairs. You know. Yeah, so I guess

  285. I don't mind being a broad boring preacher. But more importantly,

  286. that you catch something from the Lord before we go.

  287. I don't need us to say anything else, just just this, Paul,

  288. all right? And of course you went on to say

  289. I was with you in weakness, in fear and in

  290. might friendly. Can you imagine not apostle Paul in weakness?

  291. That's like me today. Have you ever seen a preature

  292. anytime come to extrage with a crutch? No, because preachers

  293. have to look good. Word because how can I pray

  294. for your healing if I'm my myself not heal? Am

  295. I right now? Am I right? So like that so

  296. you will be like, hey, Nolah, please, if you have

  297. a wheelchair, don't come. I appreciate that, right because you

  298. get I'm trying to say, because we are not used

  299. to that. We're used to preachers at the front looking good.

  300. In fact, they work out at the gym, right, A

  301. lot of preachers they work out. The gym is getting

  302. tighter and tighter when the hold microphone, the hold tight

  303. one now, so the bicyber is continuously flex. I don't

  304. have a say A covered goes my my by severer

  305. has gone down. Okay, all right, I think that's enough.

  306. So you're vomited, okay, he says. Apostle is in fear.

  307. I think you will probably advise a possible way. He's

  308. walking on the brother. Don't fear that, you know, because

  309. God hasn't given you a spirit of you. I think

  310. you were some of you were, not advice pastor Paul, Yeah,

  311. a possible and much trembling. Have you ever seen apostle treble? Ah?

  312. I wanted to big your poll because I tremble you know,

  313. and I want you want you to see my my

  314. legs having close fellowship, and my speech and my pitching

  315. were not with persuasive words. Well he's not persuading. No,

  316. that means he didn't go for pitching class. How to

  317. persuade direct selling? No, h huh, No human wisdom, but

  318. in demonstration of spirit and of power. That your faith

  319. should not be in the wisdom of men, but in

  320. the power of God. Next night, where is our confidence? Really?

  321. I just brought you through a few of these thoughts

  322. because I want you to check your own mind and heart.

  323. What creature are you really looking for? And I think

  324. a lot of people are. You know, somebody's even changing

  325. church up because they're just looking at creature or looking

  326. at worship. Be there, Thank God, we have one that's

  327. so good here. Ned, you are also very good. Not seriously,

  328. there's a gift. There's a gift on you net seriously. Yeah.

  329. Some people call you Net. Some people got Nate. I

  330. just you call you net lark use Net is nice.

  331. Nate is like Nate. You know, none, Yeah, you know,

  332. I mean, I mean, I mean, thank God, because so

  333. when people come to Wow, this worship is great and

  334. I'll stay back. But otherwise I they're going for you know,

  335. bigger is better? Light? Sound or what? What are What

  336. are people really looking for? Now? Listen, listen very carefully,

  337. and it's very important. What you actually look for is

  338. also where your confidence is. Come on, come on, be honest.

  339. What you're actually looking out for is where you place

  340. your confidence. A lot of people like white skin pictures. Right,

  341. I be just way honest with you, I just be

  342. Can I be honest with you today? Right? Because as

  343. long as they're whit, they're gonna be good that you

  344. say like like white is always right? Hello, that you're

  345. quite white as well? Actually, hey you you you sorry

  346. lie bro Hey, but once you go black, you never

  347. go back. Now? Sure where is your confidence? Yeah? So

  348. if you saw Paul coming in here, you probably walk out? Now?

  349. He started, he started messaging afternoon, how with fear and

  350. trembling he came. So all of you walk out from

  351. the greatest preacher the world has ever known because of

  352. his image? Where is yr really? Jesus said to him,

  353. next life, I am the Way, the truth and the life. Now.

  354. The Bible also says in Isaiah, when you look at Jesus,

  355. there is nothing to look at. No, do you understand Isaiah,

  356. there is no he does. He's not good looking at all.

  357. He's like any normal guy. That's why a lot of

  358. people if he didn't have size and won, there's a

  359. people who pass him by. You know, have you ever

  360. read Isaiah there is nothing to look at? Basically it's

  361. a paraphrase. You you thought that Jesus is six foot four,

  362. you know, really really muscles, No, no muscles. But you

  363. know what, I think my wife likes to see Jesus

  364. with muscles. I don't know why. From from from before

  365. I married earlier, Jesus had muscles. I also had master's

  366. eye before we married. Hello, I had six specs. No, seriously,

  367. now I'll become one, but you know the six specs anyway. Uh,

  368. let's come back away, come back Jesus. Yeah, but she's

  369. right now. He was a carpenter, so you know, he

  370. must have been quite fit. But you know, I think

  371. he was more skinny myssels like you know, but whatever

  372. it is, like, whatever it is, that was this his

  373. human body, his human body, long hair, right, nazarene. Uh.

  374. So you know there's one guy who told me when

  375. when I said, I think Jesus was probably about five

  376. seven five six, you know, because those days there was

  377. not no one, no one so tall, the tallest ever

  378. in those days, the early early days. I was Saul,

  379. and they say that he was so tad, that he

  380. was one hit and shoulder above the rest. Why because

  381. the rest was four feet five. So I'm just kidding.

  382. I don't say so Jesus. And this friend of mine

  383. said that I cannot imagine a Jesus who is not

  384. at least six. He just cannot, because your mind cannot

  385. comprehend that Jesus is shotted at you. Are you assuming

  386. you cannot? That's why when they paint Jesus on the

  387. picture blue eyes, because because even the painter have got

  388. to have this is this is the look I need

  389. to worship. Come on, think about it. I'm getting all

  390. of you to think. Now, think of the ugliest person

  391. you ever thought. No, no, please, don't, don't, don't put

  392. up your hand, don't point I think of the ugliest

  393. person you've ever seen in Malaysia. No, no, no, I

  394. know my wife is saying, hey, no, you know why

  395. my wife tried to be politically god regular. I just

  396. try to be truthful. Okay, okay, and I'm not asking

  397. you to put up your head down point, but you

  398. know you know what I'm talking about. You know what

  399. I'm talking about. Okay, So think about the art clearest

  400. person you've ever known and put that photo and then

  401. long hair. That's serious. So then you go like now, now,

  402. now you're probably saying, I don't know. I find it

  403. very hard to worship that. How if he was that?

  404. So I you know, so very be very careful, but

  405. be very thoughtful. But be taking that question I gave

  406. you earlier, and just think about it. Where really is

  407. your confidence? So he said, I am the way the

  408. truth of life. No one comes with Father except through me.

  409. Jesus is saying me, me, I Jesus, I am your way,

  410. your truth, your life. Okay, no one comes with the

  411. Father except through me. Now next life, the devil is

  412. not afraid of any other name but the name of Jesus.

  413. Do you know that? Do you know that? No? Serious?

  414. Do you really know that? Because sometimes I think when

  415. we are casting out demons, I don't know how many

  416. of you do that on a daily basis. Uh. Sometimes

  417. you have to cast out demons from yourself, though, But

  418. we use a lot of other names, not just name,

  419. not of people's names, but names as in like I

  420. learned from Bible school, or I learned from that training.

  421. You've got to do this and that, and then you

  422. list down a whole list of how to pray right,

  423. and then we pray a long prayer to cast out

  424. the demon, and then we end in the name of Jesus.

  425. The shortest part of that whole prayer is in the

  426. name of Jesus. And that's the only name. That's the

  427. only sentence that works. Without that sentence in the name

  428. of Jesus or the other prayer before, it doesn't work.

  429. Do you also understand I don't have time to do

  430. it today. But when I look at scripture, oh one,

  431. I just give you one. I think we're gonna read

  432. it later, but I'll give you one now in advance.

  433. Peter and I think it's Peter. And is it James

  434. or John? They went to the to the gate called beautiful,

  435. and you know how he prayed. He says, in the

  436. name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk. I

  437. don't know why we have changed it to leaving his

  438. name last. Just think for a moment, because almost all Christians.

  439. I know incling myself. But I want to say to

  440. you before that it's not wrong, it's not wrong. That's

  441. not the name of Jesus there. But we pray long

  442. prayers and then we we what shots that name? Something?

  443. You know? What can you hear it?

  444. Oh?

  445. Lord? We pray Malaysia five ten minutes, fifteen minutes injured

  446. name amen, I mean, so you know, and something we

  447. don't have that name of Soo, you understand. So where

  448. is our confidence in the chunguiness, the eloquentness, the excellence

  449. of our prayer language, or in that name? Because they

  450. started by saying in the start first, let the devil

  451. know who you're talking about first, and then you can

  452. say whatever you want to say. In fact, if you

  453. see in the name of Jesus first, your prayer can

  454. be even shorter. Because they said, in the name of

  455. Jesus Christ of Nursrus, rise up and walk. You see

  456. how the rise work? Just short one and then pulled

  457. him up. I just want, I just want to give

  458. us some thought today. Where is a confidence in your

  459. prayer language, in your eloquency. That's why a lot of

  460. people are scart to pray, you know, most people who

  461. are scart to pray, You ask him why because I

  462. don't know how to pray, you know why? They don't

  463. know how to pray. Actually they know, but they already

  464. heard someone else pray for five minutes, so they say,

  465. I don't know how to pray like him or her

  466. or like past her. And then if pastes it like

  467. you know, they no, no, no no, because their prayers

  468. only Jesus, thank you for the food. Amen. Right, But

  469. that's okay, that's all right. But the fact is that

  470. people are scared because they think they have to reach

  471. a certain vocabulary. If that's the truth, if that's really

  472. the truth, then that's your confidence. And we think that

  473. that person will be heal of cancer because how long

  474. you pray no hanya dalam nama, Yes, since his medeka

  475. speak some Bahasa. And also I just came up from me,

  476. so you know, yeah, yeah, I'm going to be a

  477. bit more not to Sarah these days, so I have

  478. to brush out on my basa. Yeah, I think you're

  479. basa bro. Noah oh yah, eat in tend okay that's

  480. what there was his answer. If you didn't hear I

  481. said your basawa eat in ten No he didn't say that.

  482. The devil is adly afraid of the name of Jesus.

  483. He flees at the name of Jesus. He bows at

  484. the name of Jesus. He trembles at the name of Jesus,

  485. not at our prayer language. Not how long or how short.

  486. I want to bring us back, all of us back

  487. to being confident in one name. There is a new

  488. SOP standard operating procedures. Don't want a new SOP in

  489. this place in your life. Everything the devil wants to

  490. say to you has to go through Jesus first. I

  491. learned this from the Lord because the devil whispers to

  492. me quite often. I don't know why. I know when

  493. I was in jeder he whispered to me, and somebody

  494. he's whispered very Lola said, huh, serve Godsama, serve Godsomre.

  495. He'd even protect you from this injury. Ah, serve Godzoma.

  496. He likes to whisper, especially when we're downt you know,

  497. when we are downer, he likes to kick us. I

  498. don't know when I will ever see you again in

  499. terms of speeching to you, so I'll give I'll give

  500. you one thought. There is a scripture where Jesus was tempted.

  501. Matthew four. Your member is Meanthew Chapter four, three temptations. Right.

  502. You know when the devil finally left Jesus. You know

  503. what the Bible she says, he left Jesus for an

  504. opportune time. That means for another time he will come

  505. and attack Jesus again. Do you know what I learned

  506. about opportunity time? Even in my injury. This is fourth

  507. manner of recovering her. So all my quiet time has

  508. been deep. There has not been one day or in

  509. this last four months that my quiet time has not

  510. has been shortened in two hours. So if you tell

  511. me that there is something I have to do at

  512. seven o'clock, I'll be up at four because the minimum

  513. now is two hours with the lot. So it's deep. Really,

  514. the Lord takes me deep and deep, and deep and deep,

  515. and he says, Kenneth, I want to teach you something

  516. about open timer. Opportune time like this opportune time in Matthew,

  517. for was when Jesus fast forty days and he was hungry,

  518. he was weak. Opportune time for the devil is always

  519. when we are the weakest, when we are high after

  520. Sunday service and we got the word. We got, you know,

  521. Joe leading us in worship, and we are high on

  522. the most high. You think the devil want to come

  523. and affect you the time, wasting his time because he

  524. knows you were flicking with your finger because of your faith.

  525. He comes when we are down, and he whispers, anyone

  526. here give up when you're up. No one here in

  527. this room gives up when you are up. No one

  528. here gives up when you have money in your pocket.

  529. No one gives up about when you have energy. No

  530. when you're tired. Nobody appreciates you like the flyer that

  531. the fly. You know what the Bible calls h the

  532. devil bears about and bearls about, meaning is lord of

  533. the flies flies. And that's why every time you see

  534. pictures of the poor and the down and the depressed,

  535. flies are everywhere on their eyes and the nose, their poverty,

  536. stricken and they're dying. And you know, because the devil's

  537. domain is there and flies are everywhere. You don't see

  538. flies where the area is clean because the blood of

  539. lamb just clear cleansed you, and you are clean, and

  540. the fly doesn't want to come near. But when you're down,

  541. and when you're entertaining depressing thoughts and I want to

  542. kill myself thoughts, it becomes unclean. You entertain unclean thoughts.

  543. I want to divorce. Not that you are bad, but

  544. you entertain them. And so now the flies come and

  545. he's the lord of the flies, bears about. But there's

  546. a new esopoenaw when Jesus comes and become lord of

  547. your life. He is lord in your heart. He's master

  548. of your life. He says to me. No, you know

  549. what Jesus said to me when I was really down,

  550. He says, Kenneth, tell the devil to see me. He

  551. spoke to me at that. So the next time we

  552. speake to my ear the devil shut up. Go and

  553. see my new boss. You're not allowed to speak to

  554. me directly, you know, officer. People know the salesman will

  555. come to the office. No, no, no, go into the

  556. other room. You are not allowed to come to this floor.

  557. You're not allowed to come to the office. This is off.

  558. This is only staph on me. So right here, only

  559. Christians believers are okay. If you want to sell anything

  560. to me, selling to my boss for us. My boss

  561. says yes, then you come. And how many are you

  562. think that Jesus will say yes to the devil? Yeah?

  563. You know no. And even if Jesus ever said yes

  564. to the devil, you can, devil, you can test my son.

  565. But you think Jesus will leave us a lord? He

  566. will come with that, he would be besides testament see testament.

  567. See And yes, the devil has tested me many times,

  568. but the Lord has been glorified because Jesus is right

  569. by my side. He would never leave us. All there's

  570. a new sop in town. Please remember that. And whatever

  571. the devil's trying to whisper into a ear, say, be quiet.

  572. You're not allowed to speak to me directly. Go to

  573. my boss speak to Himah amen. Just I'll just review

  574. something that was very close to my heart. Maybe you

  575. say it passed away to find in the scripture. I'm

  576. sure you find that somewhere, right, Because Jesus is now

  577. Lord of our lives, and all that Satan ever had

  578. in charge of you, he's no longer in charge. Now

  579. next one, I'm going to draw towards a last lap.

  580. Now I want you to think for a moment about

  581. the Holy Communion. What do you know about holy communion

  582. every time you take it. There's a scripture, right, there's

  583. a scripture that says in the first Corindians up to eleven,

  584. verse twenty three to twenty six, I received from the Lord, right,

  585. I delivered to you that which I also received from

  586. the Lord. And he goes on and goes on and

  587. goes on. But there's two things he repeated. Can anybody

  588. repeat it to me? He said, do this in do this? Okay,

  589. So the bottom line of communion, the bottom line purpose

  590. for communion is to remember Jesus. Okay, now think about

  591. it for a moment. Now do you think that? Now?

  592. He said, as often as you take it. So I

  593. take it every morning, Okay. I get Elder Shirley, who's

  594. my pa. Elder Shelley might be my PA for twenty

  595. three years now, so I can't be that bad a

  596. bossa twenty three years my pa. And so every time

  597. I need something, I just actually I need communion as

  598. so she every month she give me the three communion cups,

  599. small one and I'll take it with me. I took

  600. one with me to me. So every morning I opened

  601. the communion, I I've done it for I don't know,

  602. maybe fifteen years now every morning and so I opened,

  603. but but I will hold onto communion. And and I

  604. thought to myself a lot. One morning I thought to myself,

  605. this is this revelation just came to me two months ago.

  606. So as I would do my quiet time, I said, Lord,

  607. I come before you, I take communion. And you said

  608. to remember you right then? Suddenly I once thought came

  609. to my mind. No way, he always asks us to

  610. remember him. It's like Jesus thought that you and I

  611. will have amnesia. You know, like every morning we got amnesia.

  612. So who are you again? Lord? Oh communion? Jesus? You

  613. know the next morning you get, next morning you get

  614. why am I Christian again? Communion? You know that makes

  615. it worse because some of you need to take it

  616. once a month or twice a month, because it homes

  617. so twice a month you remember Jesus. All other times

  618. you think you know it's your or Ned or doctor

  619. Daniel Kong or I'm kidding, I'm kidding, but just I'm

  620. giving you a lot of food for thought today, a

  621. lot of food for thought. No, Jesus didn't think that

  622. we would have amnesia. I think Jesus thought, and this

  623. is what he revealed to me that we would be

  624. tempted listen now very carefully, we would be tempted to

  625. rely on something else. Do you know that Jesus the

  626. salvation that we have is Jesus alone. But in our lives,

  627. if you're not careful, we always want to Jesus. Plus,

  628. that's why a lot of people do a lot of

  629. good works because they think that Jesus, Yeah, wonderful, but

  630. just in case. Do you know a lot of Christians

  631. are going around just in case? And that shouldn't be

  632. your motivation for giving. Your motivation, my motivation vision for

  633. giving should be because Jesus and Jesus alone. So we

  634. have this thing called Christ alone, Sola christos or soli

  635. crystal in the Latin, and you've got a solid faith alone,

  636. and then of course you've got grace alone. So we

  637. are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

  638. But if you're not careful, a lot of us are

  639. surviving in our Christianity by the worship songs we're listening,

  640. and that worship songs or pray songs is stimulating your faith.

  641. And if you don't have that, your faith is down

  642. or stimulating your faith by the church you go to. Also. Now,

  643. of course you say you're very bold to say that,

  644. because some people go, oh, therefore axes second reader, Jesus first,

  645. I'd rather you do that. Hi, Rather you forget about

  646. acts and make sure that Jesus is on the throne

  647. of your heart. But a lot of people, oh, you know,

  648. the first thing they want to say, I come from

  649. this church. So what you know, it's just attend that

  650. church didn't die for you. Hello, And when you go

  651. up to see the Lord and have you wire not

  652. with your membership of the church. Hello, Peter said, Hi,

  653. welcome to the polygates. Why are you allowed here? Hold,

  654. let me take my church cart coming, let me take

  655. my church cutter acts or whatever, you know, whatever other

  656. church name. But people, now, I'm all proud about their

  657. church affiliation, more proud about their church affiliation than the

  658. one who is the lord of that church. I know.

  659. It's very quiet now, maybe because you're thinking, which is

  660. a good sign Jesus saying, remember me, Canneth, it's not

  661. the church, because yesterday I thought it was, and once

  662. upon a time it was heel songs, right, you know,

  663. I gets a bit upset that people might miss our conference,

  664. but go to a Hillsong's conference that last five days.

  665. So quiet, okay, very quiet, because maybe a quite few

  666. people didn't go for a conference. Here is okay, fine, okay, okay, everybody,

  667. just slow down. We repent after this again, I opened

  668. the auto call. Okay, very quiet, but listen. It is true.

  669. It's true. So she gets up. I say never mind

  670. saying it's okay, don't worry about it. The Holy Spirit

  671. will move people's hearts. And we don't go to conference

  672. because of a speaker. We go to a conference because

  673. we feel let to go, and because we are family.

  674. Now I know I'm digging the hole deeper. It's okay, right,

  675. it's okay for us to die to self. Okay, get

  676. buried in the rot today. Remember me. Then we go

  677. to another thing. Remember me. Then we go to another

  678. lit reme. Hello everything you think Covenian? Okay, do you

  679. get it again? It's not that this or the other.

  680. It's me. I think you would do this better. Like

  681. course you when you shout up there and I tell

  682. you shout it from the mountain. Me. Oh, I gave

  683. one million ring it to the church building. Final. No, no, no,

  684. not that that won't save you me. It's not amnesia.

  685. It's the fact that a lot of us keep wanting

  686. to depend on other things. We have Jesus, but that

  687. to go. Please, it's not good words, it's me. Do

  688. you understand that every time we open bread and cup, Lord,

  689. forgive me. If I thought it's something else, that's what

  690. you should should say. Sorry for Lord, forgive me. If

  691. I thought it was church affiliation, forgive me. If I

  692. thought it was Bible school, forgive me, if I thought

  693. it was you know, anything else but you, because it's

  694. really all about you, Father, in the name of Jesus. Sorry, guys,

  695. I got about seven slights left, but I don't want

  696. to go there. I just want to pray and I

  697. want to finish halleayh. You know, preaching is not about

  698. finishing slights. Preaching is about getting the word of God

  699. out so that the word does not return to Him void.

  700. If all you caught today is that Jesus is the Way,

  701. the Truth, and the life. If all you caught today

  702. is Lord, forgive me for putting my confidence in anything else.

  703. If all you caught today was Lord, help me to

  704. come back to the cross I speak. Jesus is a song.

  705. Confidence is in that one name. One day you and

  706. I will meet with Peter the Apostle, I believe, maybe

  707. not maybe another angel at the Pearly gates, Hallelujah, and

  708. they might ask you the question. Just answer me one question.

  709. Just answer me one question. The angel says, what gives

  710. you the right to enter heaven? It's not a trick question,

  711. it's not a hard question. I pray that you will

  712. be able to answer. Answer like the man who was

  713. hung on the cross next to Jesus. That man said, Lord,

  714. remember me when you come into your glory. And Jesus

  715. said to that man, that criminal who was hanging on

  716. the cross, Surely, I say to you today you will

  717. be with me in Paradise. I hope that you answer

  718. like that man. What did that man answer? I think

  719. he's going to answer like this, he's going to answer

  720. the angel Angel. I wasn't even baptized. I didn't have

  721. time to I was hanging on the cross next to Jesus. Angel.

  722. I didn't even know Jesus before he was there on

  723. the cross. But I saw that he was a good man.

  724. I saw that he was a righteous man. I saw

  725. that there was something about him I saw that he

  726. may be the son of God and I and I

  727. heard him say. I heard this man called Jesus say

  728. today you will be with me in paradise. And Angel,

  729. I just want to let you know that that's all

  730. I have. You mean you didn't go to Bible class,

  731. and the bed will say, I was hanging on the cross.

  732. I never knew there was a church. I never knew

  733. there was a Bible class. You mean you never took communion.

  734. Angel listened to me. I never even knew there was

  735. as a communion before that. You mean you never give

  736. your tits and offering. Angel, please listen to my defense.

  737. I didn't even know there was such a thing as

  738. titsan offering. I only know this one thing. The man

  739. in the middle between two criminals said today you will

  740. be with me in paradise. And that's how That's all

  741. I got. That's all I got. And the Angel says,

  742. welcome in, because that's all you need.

  743. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  744. information on our church, please visit as church dot org.

  745. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing

  746. that this week is going to be a good week.

  747. I hit for you, godless,
