  1. You're listening to a message to go from Axs Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. So the title of the message this morning is the

  4. Life Saving Station, The Life Saving Station. And before we

  5. go into that, we're gonna turn to Luke chapter nineteen. Okay,

  6. Luke chapter nineteen. You got a Bible's review. Can turn

  7. there and if you are there, say yeah, much louder

  8. than PJ or the PJ with more people. Yeah, people

  9. were quietly. I don't know why. So anyway, Okay, we're

  10. gonna read. Okay, let's read. So he says. Here, then

  11. Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. Now behold, there was

  12. a man named Zachias who was a chief text collector,

  13. and he was rich, and he sought to see who

  14. Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for

  15. he was of short stature. Everybody says short stature. Okay,

  16. it means his short. Lah, he's short. The Bible is

  17. ready descriptive when they say something. There's a reason to even. Okay,

  18. and imagine now if the Bible write about you and

  19. say you're shot. Wow, I tell you. Um. So it continues.

  20. So he ran ahead and climb up into a sycamore

  21. tree to see him, for he was going to pass

  22. that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he

  23. looked up and saw him and said to him, zac years,

  24. make haste and come down, for today I must stay

  25. at your house. So he made hayes and came down

  26. and received him joyfully. Okay, I'm gonna pause here. You know,

  27. sometimes when we read the Bible, it's very difficult for

  28. us to imagine, you know, because because how many of

  29. you here know a text collector? Nobody? Right, No, I

  30. don't know nobody. I mean I think if you are

  31. text colector, so you won't admit right, Uh you know

  32. what sycamore tree looks like? No? Right, No, no, so's

  33. it's something's very difficult to connect the thoughts when you read,

  34. you know, and sometimes you can read this as a storybook.

  35. But I want to let you know that it's historical fact.

  36. The Bible is not a storyable, no matter what you

  37. might think it is. It is not a storybook. It's

  38. not a legend, it's not a myth. It's a historical fact.

  39. And the way the Bible was written, it was not

  40. written as a factual book. It was written as a

  41. literature that is towards us people in the future that

  42. will want to follow who Christ is. So it's not

  43. meant to be a science book and people are science. No, No,

  44. it's not meant to be that. It's not meant to

  45. be a storyable I feel good. No, it's meant to

  46. be like autobiography, a diary. It is meant to be

  47. a way to live your cash that. You know some

  48. speakers who say it is like Christ's love story to us,

  49. It's like God's love story to as well. In a way. Yes,

  50. I guess if you Every time I think about when

  51. people say that, I think. I think if you're girls,

  52. then you connect more if your guys your hard love story, Yeah,

  53. you know, for guys, maybe you can say it's a

  54. la or instruction or tip. You know, you want to

  55. be successful in life, read the Bible, right, you want

  56. to be successful in your marriage? Read the Bible. You

  57. want to you know it's true. You know for guys,

  58. maybe that connects with us small focus. Oh, it's God's

  59. love love story to me. So so I want to

  60. stretch it a little bit to help us to try

  61. to put ourselves in that situation. Okay, so let's talk

  62. a bit about zach Yeas. Okay, I've got some names,

  63. but I don't want to name the names famous people

  64. you know that I can say, like Zac Yias. But

  65. imagine someone in your life today. Imagine someone in your

  66. life that you really don't like, one like you really like,

  67. really you don't like on someone that probably borrow your

  68. money and didn't return it. Okay, there here, Please forgive them. Okay,

  69. don't point fingers on no no or maybe always say no,

  70. I will help you and I but but canno keep

  71. the promise. One image someone like that, think, think about it.

  72. Think about that person for now, right, and imagine that

  73. this person is really young, so you on, really not

  74. handsome and all short. You know, hey, if it's handsome, o,

  75. soa you can steal forgive, you know, like if passus

  76. Steven you know, borrow my money and they returned I

  77. It's okay, it's okay, I he you know, it's okay,

  78. it pretty, it's okay. But this isn't really like short,

  79. you know, yeah, it's like, oh my goodness, like I

  80. really did imagine that person. Can imagine imagine this person's

  81. day job is a scammer. Now got a scam case.

  82. See scammer, your your affiliated scammer. Because that was what

  83. the text collectors were. You know why people didn't like

  84. text colllectors then because they collected more than what they

  85. need and you cannot go against them because they are

  86. entrusted by the room. And then see now we got

  87. we got uh, we got what what's the word? Past chodla?

  88. We got check and balanced, we got you know all

  89. these last time don't have one? Last time is between

  90. you and me. Right, don't write lost the paper. That's it.

  91. So it's my word against your word, right, think about

  92. it that way? That was then, right, So of course

  93. these guys, of course nobody liked him. Nobody liked him

  94. because you know, he said, well, Zakiers, make haste and

  95. come down. So he made hayes and came down and

  96. receive him joyfully. But when they saw it, they all complained,

  97. saying he has gone to be a guest with a

  98. man who is a sinner. Think about it there for

  99. a moment, Zakiaza, Zakiazza, think about a person you really

  100. don't like in your office. Maybe it's a friend, Maybe

  101. he's a friendly member. This fellow every time borrow money,

  102. no return, every time say you're gonna turn a new leaf,

  103. not gonna over a new leaf. Not just that a scammer. No,

  104. you cannot trust he can not trust son, cannot trust son.

  105. But Jesus said, Zakiers, make haste and come down for today,

  106. I must dine in your house. How many of you

  107. here will go well done Jesus' best decision ever? Or

  108. will react the same way? And again, I'm not saying

  109. this to guilt trip. You know, I think most of us,

  110. even me, I'll be like, hey, Jesus, sure, not sure,

  111. not Jesus, this guy's a scammer. No, he cheat everybody. Hey,

  112. you know this person's mother had to go hospital her

  113. he could cheat her money. You know now she's sicking

  114. and she died. You know you want to go to

  115. his house? Jesus, are you sure? Not? Right? Then Zakiah

  116. stood up and said to the lord. Look, Lord, I'll

  117. give half of my goods to the poor. And I

  118. have taken anything from anyone by false accusation. I restore

  119. for for war scam people. Do you want to give

  120. back money? How many of you will go show bo?

  121. I did? I'm like, hey, please, show me, show me,

  122. show me, then I believe sure not for many many

  123. years you already scamming people, do all kinds of things.

  124. You know you you sure no, you're not male character.

  125. Now just Jesus. You know everybod Jesus is superstar going

  126. and then now you are you know, now you want

  127. to improve yourself also probably think that way right, and

  128. he's not wrong. But look at how Jesus responds. And

  129. Jesus said to him today, Salvation has come to this

  130. house because he also is a son of Abraham. For

  131. the Son of Man has come to seek and to

  132. save that which was lost. Okay, let's let's try and

  133. unpack what we just read a little bit. Men, Jesus

  134. coming to this place, Can I not hear? La? We're

  135. all hanging out with Jesus and Sonny. He sees his

  136. scammer or this person that hurt us, or this person

  137. that betrayed us. And Jesus said, I want to go

  138. to your house, friends, not your house. Are not John

  139. Chung's hauser, not Paster Steven's hauser, that guy's house. How

  140. you feel? And he responded, for the son of Man

  141. has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Okay,

  142. unpecking r. Okay. Let me ask you a question, okay.

  143. And it's not a true question, Okay, it's a very

  144. direct question. All of you here are lost? Anybody here lost,

  145. still lost? Don't know Christ yet? Still lost? Are you

  146. still lost? Or most? I think most know Jesus. So

  147. you're not lost. So did Jesus come for you? Did

  148. Jesus come for you? No? Ma, we all seen the steel, Ma.

  149. Yes he came for us. Yes, because we were once lost,

  150. but now we are found, right, Yeah, but you're found ready, Ma,

  151. you're found ready? So must he still go to your house?

  152. Think about it? Okay, let me stretch it a little bit.

  153. Now I'm stretching it, and I'm stretching it, okay, and we

  154. are searching it. Why didn't he say I will go

  155. to Peter's house, I will go to John's house. Why

  156. didn't he say that? Someone said, because they are with him, La,

  157. they are with him? Do they? They are really with him?

  158. They are already going everywhere with Christ? Do they? Does

  159. he need to go to your house? No? He he

  160. came to meet people that he's not met yet, right,

  161. because the disciples were ready there with him all the time. Okay,

  162. let me stretch it now. So if they are ready

  163. with Jesus all the time, then he don't really need

  164. to go to your house. Last makes sense, right? So

  165. if I stretched to you all, if you are ready

  166. with Jesus all the time, then He is ready with

  167. you all the time. Unless we only meet Jesus once

  168. a week on a Sunday in Emerald Hotel. But from

  169. Monday to Friday we are not with him. That's why

  170. we get angry when he don't come to a house.

  171. Think about it, requite suddenly, think about it. I want

  172. to challenge your top process. Right. Are we with Christ

  173. all the time? Or is Christ? Someone said this very

  174. funny thing I heard before force in christianize it four season?

  175. Not four season? What for? What for events a year? No? No,

  176. two events a year? Two events a year? Eastern Christmas? Okay,

  177. he's there in Christmas. I'm not trying, not anybody here.

  178. I'm just trying to give us some revelation. Christ came

  179. to sit and save the loss. So then how should

  180. we respond? Let me read a partial scripture, sorry not scripture.

  181. Let me give you a background a little bit. So

  182. I'm going to read you a story from the experience.

  183. You guys went through this, right, homes, you went through this.

  184. I'm sure you went through the The last my homes

  185. was last week only. I know you had homes last

  186. last week. I don't know it was it the last one?

  187. Was it that one? That chapter? So anyway, my homes

  188. was last week only more like last Friday. So I

  189. only just read this and you spoke to me about something,

  190. and I'm going to share it with you today. Okay.

  191. So I'm gonna try it. I'm gonna try my best

  192. to present it in you know, the most entertaining way possible. Okay.

  193. I tried to try my narrative voice. Okay. So, the

  194. life saving station on a dangerous sea coast where shipwrecks

  195. often occur, there was once a crude, little life saving station.

  196. The building was just a hut and there was only

  197. one boat, but a few devoted members kept a constant

  198. watch over the sea, and we've no thought of themselves,

  199. went out day and tirestly searching for the loss. Right,

  200. many lines were saved by this wonderful little station, so

  201. it became famous. Many lives were safe. Right we started

  202. the homes because you didn't reach out Bandama and then

  203. you know, we have more me things because you have

  204. to have mom me things, right, you know how you're

  205. gonna plan, how you're gonna brave, you don't have more

  206. me things. So but it was only a few people.

  207. It was only a little bit of people. There was

  208. not much resources, there was no building yet it was

  209. just zoom during pandemic. Some who were saved and various

  210. others in the surrounding area wanted to become associated with

  211. the station and give of their time and money and

  212. effort for the support of it. What makes sense, right

  213. like oh established a the ex banal Dama. Then different

  214. wants to come o exp so happening income, I want

  215. to help out, I want to serve, I want to

  216. do stuff. I want to be part of it. Right,

  217. so then they contribute, you know why, let me help.

  218. So new boats were bought, a new cruise trained, and

  219. the life saving station crew, more homes while we shifted

  220. from one world to now M world, from one to

  221. M now one M one Malaysia. Anyway, can I let

  222. you know that X Banodama is one of the nicest

  223. church plans in terms of venue. We ever had sex

  224. right pass even knows that. Okay, so nice under sea,

  225. so so comfortable. But some of the members of the

  226. life saving stations were unhappy that the building was so

  227. crude and fully equipped. You're you're definitely not a happy la.

  228. This doesn't apply to your doesn't apply to your all okay, right,

  229. so and poorly equipped. Right. They felt a more comfortable

  230. place should be provided for the first refuge of those

  231. safe from the sea, so they replaced the emergency costs

  232. with bits and put better furniture in their large building.

  233. Now got reception, right, Now, we got you know, I

  234. don't know, like, I don't know whatever, whatever, that will

  235. upgrade the experience. Experience right, coffee machine, PJ. You got

  236. coffee machine? Someone donated that. Okay, don't worry, it's kepture one.

  237. It's not the barista and too expensive, so they replaced

  238. not nice enough the chance, it's not nice enough the acon.

  239. Now the live saving station became a popular gathering place

  240. for its members, and they decorated it beautifully and furnished

  241. it so exclusively. Because they used it as a sort

  242. of a club, Fewer members were now interested in going

  243. to see on live saving missions, so they hired lifeboard

  244. crews to do its work. Yeah, let the full time

  245. workers do it, lah, God called them. Man. We're all

  246. very busy work, right, we need to we need to

  247. be uh you know, out in the marketplace so that

  248. we can you know, support the work. Not wrong, not wrong, okay,

  249. but so busy right. I'm not interested this missions missions thing,

  250. not my thing, la. So they hired lifeboard crews to

  251. do this work. They hired got money rima, hi, la,

  252. want to do themselves for what we all big time

  253. see orima, No need to work on just do sit

  254. down there and you know, don't let the people do.

  255. We're still doing our job, right, and the life saving

  256. motive still prevailed in this club's decoration. Yeah yeah, yeah,

  257. I got the still still got the motive. You know,

  258. you know what's our techline? Bassis steven Oh that all

  259. may know? Right, got tech line? No, got tech line,

  260. mission and vision. Everything's still there, right. There was even

  261. a liturgical lifeboard in the room where the club initiations

  262. were held. You're not that means not the first ever

  263. liveboard that they use when they got the money. Now

  264. is become museum. Look look look at our history, friends,

  265. look at our history. Look at the lifeboard that once

  266. saved people look at a wonderful history. About this time,

  267. a large ship was wrecked off the coast and the

  268. high crews brought in boatloads of coal, wet half drowned people.

  269. They were dirty and sick, and someone that had black skin,

  270. some yellow skin. The beautiful Meal club was in kios Ah.

  271. Crazy man. So the property committee property com media, you've

  272. got property committee here immediately had a shower house built

  273. outside better outside. Okay, no, no, no, this place too clean,

  274. cannot cannot cant after the hotel don't like us. So

  275. let's have another church plan and other service plan in

  276. a place where everybody can go on because here it's

  277. too nice. Okay, too nice, So where the victims of

  278. shipwreck could be cleaned up before coming inside. They okay,

  279. you need to come At the next meeting. There was

  280. a split in the club membership. Oh no. Most of

  281. the members wanted to stop the club's life saving activities

  282. as being unpleasant and the hindrance to the normal social

  283. life for club passes steven. We need to have more retreats.

  284. Why want to go missions for no need. We need

  285. to build the church inside so that we because we

  286. have a good time, so that we can be connected

  287. more and more passes yearn right, so that we can

  288. connect to homes and enjoy ourselves. That's where the family

  289. of God, right, we should do that, okay, huh. But

  290. then some members insisted about life upon life saving as

  291. their primary purpose and pointed out they were still called

  292. a life saviization. Hello, Puss Steven all ask him missions?

  293. Why you never go in mobilizer missions? Huh, Masma, we

  294. must save the loss. No need to do all these

  295. other gathering and not important. Actually it's still important. No, no, no,

  296. no mass missions, you have those, right. But they finally

  297. voted down comfort over text everything ah and told that

  298. if they wanted to save the lives of all the

  299. various kinds of people who were shipwrecked in those squatters,

  300. they could be gain their own life saving station down

  301. the coastla. And they did. Plancha shaw huh, plancha shaw

  302. xbu SD right, so plan ex kota Damasara. Finally now

  303. all right, can plant Xsara, going plant. We will still

  304. support you, We will still pray for you, grand plant. Okay.

  305. As the years went by, the new station experienced the

  306. same changes that had occurred in the old, it evolved

  307. into a club, and yet another life saving station was founded.

  308. History continued to repeat itself, and if you visit that

  309. sea coast today, you will find a number of exclusive

  310. clubs along that shore. Shipwrecks are frequent in those waters,

  311. but unfortunately most people drown. So of course it's just

  312. a story, La, Please don't feel anything. This is a

  313. fake story. It is Bible different design is just a story.

  314. Let me share with you what goes spoke to me.

  315. So my homes is PJA A. Hi, my name is Elvin.

  316. I'm from PJ eight homes. Right. My homes we planted

  317. out my homes so I used to be in PG

  318. three homes, right, and then we planted out from their homes,

  319. and my homes were very very comfortable with guys, my

  320. home is super happening. Why of course I meet in

  321. this wonderful family's place called the Limb family, and Vonica

  322. can really cool. So imagine every time I go home,

  323. the food so good. We really miss homes, right, and

  324. then with all our families come and we're all, you know,

  325. enjoying fellowship and everything right, And I don't know why

  326. can I know why I are? Because here we believe

  327. in five four minutestry. And I think I've shared a

  328. few times, and I think different ones I have recognized.

  329. We recognize different means, different gift things. So one of

  330. it is for me is apostelic means I cannotee still

  331. And there's my problem. Okay, can I say still cannot

  332. but really enjoy homestone homes is good so much, so

  333. I pasted. I don't have to do anything, you know

  334. in the homes, I don't have to do anything. I

  335. just come, you know, pray some prayers, say some word,

  336. then can go back. Oh, no need to stress because

  337. I busy, My friends, you understand I'm busy. I got

  338. two kids. Logistically very difficult. Right, I want to go

  339. plant home some more? May I really already know? I

  340. did my Dew's already, friends, I did my jews. Ready

  341. let the young ones like passes you and go and suffer. Anyway,

  342. we went planned. Of course, it was too comfortable. Something

  343. had to happen. My home setters were going on to the

  344. people nice right, wow, big, we enjoy ourselves. We fellowship

  345. by much. We planted so I and I didn't want

  346. to plan alone, and so I spoke to my wife.

  347. I have to check a wife first. I don't set

  348. marry better check your wife erst a. I checked my idea.

  349. I think it's asking to do these can or not right?

  350. Because we wanted to go and wanted to reach out

  351. to campers students, there was the call and I thought, hey,

  352. you know what, my family go, so at least I die.

  353. My family, me and my wife, my two kids, drag

  354. them along, you know, And a pastial experiment is like,

  355. hey can I can? I also like impart to them

  356. to serve the lot when they're young? Can they plant

  357. or home? See me? Rather than I go alone normally?

  358. Last time I go myself, then my wife. Now it's

  359. like no, we go together. I said, yeah, sure, let's

  360. do it. And then I open up to my homemies

  361. and say, hey, guys, you know I want you to

  362. pray and ask a lot if any of you will

  363. follow me, thinking in my mind, thinking that those under

  364. my huddle and those that are close to me will say, comes,

  365. I'll join you. At least half the home sead you

  366. know you know that, like we will already Taima. But

  367. nobody said yes, they will come and join me. In fact,

  368. there was one family that I was hoping that will come,

  369. didn't say and left it, or maybe they were expecting

  370. Pastor Elvin to ask them, but I didn't want to

  371. because God has to speak to them, not me. I'm

  372. not God, because if I speak to them, anything goes wrong.

  373. They were pointing, I say, you asked us to do this. However,

  374. there was a family that I knew and they were

  375. not like full on, but I said, you know what,

  376. maybe so I asked and they said, yeah, wherever you go,

  377. I'll follow. I'm not okay, great at least one family,

  378. so me this other family and Michelle you know, came up.

  379. Miche line came out right and and we and we

  380. planted a homesa you know, and it's eight months city

  381. and uh, I wish I could say, you know. And

  382. then after that the campers suitors are coming. Then we

  383. started hitting more young students because God opened the door.

  384. So the past eight months right one campus student let

  385. me clarify, one master's international camper student only fit fully coming.

  386. We faithfully fetching him. Michelle can't fetch coss you me

  387. in the house. And we had to meet homes on

  388. the other Friday because we are homeless see how smart

  389. right pass nice homes do one plan out now no

  390. bendic ready got no place to meet, have to meet

  391. because out of the kindness of you know, I think

  392. feel like my daughter go up plan homes can all

  393. let her alone. So I better, you know, open my house.

  394. So we meet all Turner Friday. You know how hard

  395. that is. Everybody meet homes meeting homes know can quite

  396. lonely and know everybody meeting that we are we are

  397. meeting the other week and we are like meeting one

  398. week later. So eight man, so dulo ulo dula? What

  399. am I sharing to you? So last week we did

  400. this and God spoke to me. Let me let me

  401. try to present it for Beulah. Is XBU a life

  402. saving station or his XBU just a club? I mean,

  403. I'm not saying this to make people feel bad now.

  404. I think we just gotta be We gotta know the truth.

  405. If it's a club, it's a club pass. If it's

  406. a club, just take club membership and people feel great

  407. and that's it. Okay, But if XBU is a life

  408. saving station, you gotta think about it. La Okay. Let

  409. me let me go back to BJ. So when I

  410. read that I ask myself, is XPJ a life saving

  411. station or we just a club? Can I give you

  412. a live tip? You know, I give you a tip

  413. that will work in your life. Okay, generally, I know

  414. I'm not right all, but I think I've given you

  415. some form of wisdom. When you are unsure about your

  416. crossroads in your life, or when you are not sure

  417. about certain things, always go back to the original intention

  418. of why it started in the first place. Your catch that,

  419. I know it's a mouthful, Always go back to the

  420. origin in attention because a lot of times in life

  421. we will do something, have fun, go and you know,

  422. it always starts well, but later down the road now

  423. when things go don't go, something has changed, and most

  424. of the time the original intention has changed or the

  425. objective has changed. You know said no, no, no, it's still

  426. like that. But actually, if you study properly, it is

  427. not so. I asked myself the question, why was x

  428. Church planted in Battaling Jaya on the nine of September

  429. twenty twelve, thirteen years ago. Why was XPJ birth? Was

  430. it just so that we can have another gathering of

  431. believers here in PJ? Was it? Let me if you're

  432. familiar with America. There is a place in America that

  433. is called the Bible Belt of America. You know what

  434. it means. I think it's even on my second it's

  435. somewhere in Texas, Tennessee. Why because our day is where

  436. a lot of church ran, a lot by God chish

  437. Do you know that where XPJ meets, they were a

  438. lot of just there already big I wouldn't name names that,

  439. but they were in fact in Jaya one right, just

  440. I think two three months ago a good friend planted

  441. service or so there but reaching out to the Indonesia,

  442. and I didn't even know about. I'm like, hey, when

  443. say you know, like Sailah you know, but then we

  444. can work together. But I didn't even know. Why? Why

  445. why planet just there? So many people? Why why xbu?

  446. Why planet just here so that you're nearer to people

  447. so that they can attend easier? Is that the reason?

  448. I mean, I don't know. Again, if there's a reason,

  449. don't be judged, although I know you're probably feeling judged

  450. right now, But there has to be something more right,

  451. There has to be something more. I mean, it's not

  452. wrong to I mean I would love to attn x

  453. KK you know, I'm praying Lord actually not thinking one

  454. take aver from Pasidica. No, No, it's okay, a very

  455. happy way. I'm ready. Was it so that we can

  456. have another gathering or was it so that we can

  457. have a lighthouse be a lighthouse to the people here?

  458. What was the intention? Let me share a bit more

  459. on the intention. But you know, because this might benefit

  460. you in your own life. I remember one of the

  461. leaders in Bja and of course having challenges your homes

  462. and and how you know, my Homi is not the

  463. easiest people and very difficult. I'm like, hey, you're the

  464. home leader. You wanted to talk to up to you la, right,

  465. you know, but then where my homies go pastore hard

  466. whay my homies go, I'm like, well, it's up to you.

  467. And then he's like, oh yeah, you know I really

  468. feel the sense like yeah, we might have to do

  469. that and then just channel people in different homes and

  470. so that at least we can start a fresh you know,

  471. and stuff like that. I mean, And I said, well,

  472. up to you if you feel that too, And then

  473. he said, oh, but I don't know how to share them.

  474. I said, well, it's not very difficult. Go back to

  475. the original intention of why we do homes in the

  476. first place. Is it just a social gathering or is

  477. it meant for something bigger? Because I understand homes in

  478. acts is to be fruitful and multiply. And if the

  479. homes is not multiplying or it's not being fruitful, you're

  480. not fruitful. It's not we got this ten cash I

  481. some homemeaders, or I hear the two. Yeah, the traumati.

  482. You know, it's not traumatic. It's not bad. Basically ten indicators,

  483. whether homes is healthy or not. That is truefulness, right,

  484. go back to that and then they will know that. Yeah,

  485. maybe it's time to close because it's not frueful nowither

  486. is it multiplying. In fact, it is just a social

  487. getting for us to come and complain about what church

  488. is doing wrong. It's always good to check. You know,

  489. where has it reached? Then you know the true intention

  490. of the heart. So always check whether it's your relationship.

  491. You know, something's marriages, married couples. Can I encourage you

  492. remember again why you got married in the first place,

  493. then maybe you will fight less. How you fall in

  494. love with the girl, how you find love with the guy.

  495. Always think about it. You know, that's why you are

  496. how you start relationing very important. We are very I

  497. mean I break for me. I knew that no matter how

  498. bad things get, with me and my wife, I know

  499. God brothers together. So I can't deny that, right and

  500. I hold on to that. And however bad things get,

  501. just sila, you know, so always think about how it started.

  502. I remember the day when we were praying and seeking

  503. God before he planted XPJ six months we prayed, right,

  504. and you know, we prayed for six months. And then

  505. now of course now you're on blanches, they're more you know,

  506. it's more clearer. Okay, last time, we all like, can

  507. I just see where it goes? Do we even know

  508. we're gonna meean Jivan? No, we didn't know. We didn't

  509. know it all. You know, do we even know we're

  510. gonna be here? No? No, we don't know. Only God letters.

  511. And we prayed and we prayed and and and you

  512. know what we do is okay, we pray, we pray

  513. and then after we asked us everybody, hey, everyone, do

  514. you catch anything from the lot and any difference? Once

  515. we share and remember a few people shirt that we

  516. receive a word that we will be the lighthouse to

  517. the people in BJ. A lighthouse, you know, lighthouse does right,

  518. lighthouse are is ship gonna crash it and say hey, hello, hello,

  519. Loo got roxy here? Please I don't crash our Please

  520. you don't go somewhere else. Show people the way. We

  521. also pray now very clearly for the spirit of materialism,

  522. so so spiritual and I'm like, sounds funny, but no,

  523. because we know that BJ is very affluent and unfortunately,

  524. whether we like it or not, sometimes our hearts, things

  525. are more important than people. Money is more important than family,

  526. you know, so you can get there. Unfortunately we don't

  527. like it, but it's a spirit. Sorry. May we prayed

  528. against the spirit. We also prayed we also prayed against

  529. the spirit of well, I'm not against, but we also

  530. pray for families, that families who need or need to

  531. experience God will find God, find hope. It's not easy,

  532. you know, to start a family. It's not easy to

  533. do all these things. Prayed for all these things. Then

  534. you know, when we started off, right, we were all

  535. like young adults and we were like oh, x change campers, student,

  536. we never even think about family. And then God brought

  537. young kiadabs to BJ. My goodness, seventy young adults. Before that,

  538. we thought we actually only reach out to camera students. No,

  539. seventy younger, begin old. The now family is ready. Now

  540. we come to BJ, you'll see something like be all

  541. like that, very very nice mix, got young and got old. Right.

  542. We prayed for all these things. We were sent here

  543. for a bigger purpose, not just to start a club. So, friends,

  544. I confidently tell you this morning that if you're here

  545. interested to join a club, I'm so sorry. We are

  546. not going to be a club. We are not called

  547. to be a club. That also means that you might

  548. get pushed, and I hope you're okay with that. You

  549. might get pushed because club just sit down, come here,

  550. pay fee, and then okay, puss, pay feeler and take

  551. membership fee. And then what are the benefits pasted Steven

  552. Mary Berry and hospital visitation? Right, that's the benefit, right,

  553. because you bay fee's right? Is that how we live life? Yeah?

  554. I know I'm a main crew love x twenty twenty

  555. four says, but my life is worth nothing to me

  556. unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me

  557. by the Lord Jesus, the work of telling others the

  558. good news about the wonderful grace of God. So I

  559. think the son is a bit more close. So my

  560. shared is in PJA early on. Maybe I'll start with this.

  561. One of the Sundays, I asked a team was charing.

  562. Team was charing, and I asked him to pray for

  563. the youth. And then he said, past anything specific, And

  564. I told him, I said, well, bro, I'll just share

  565. it this whaler. I believe that the Holy Spirit will

  566. speak to you on what to pray for for the youth,

  567. because as a church we to pray what's happening. What's

  568. happening especially, I mean, things are happening in your backyard

  569. right and it's not I mean as a church, we

  570. know that it's spiritual as well. And I told team this,

  571. I said, I truly believe in my heart of hearts

  572. that if the young person knew Christ the way we

  573. knew Christ, not just no Christ or no but the

  574. way some of us here you understand what I'm talking about.

  575. If he well, I wouldn't be so specific. If the

  576. young person knew Christ the way we knew Christ, I

  577. don't think what happened would have happened that I truly

  578. believe and it's said that it happened. But think about it.

  579. If people really knew Christ the way we knew Christ,

  580. not just no Christ as Jesus or oh I'm a

  581. Christian name, but you know, come on Sunday and then

  582. that there's no relationship. I think they really knew Christ

  583. the way some of us understand what I'm trying to say.

  584. I think, not the world a better place, but I

  585. think I don't think young people lose their lives. I

  586. don't think things like this will be happening in schools.

  587. That's my firm belief. Friends, we've got something precious with

  588. us that other people need to experience. Let me show

  589. you this picture. There's his picture. When I was preparing

  590. for this message, I got his picture. So what's this lifeboard? Right?

  591. So this this x bola? Okay, xbo what's a small

  592. little life raft? You see smaller life raft? Okay? Well,

  593. these are your homes are One home is going to

  594. I mean a bit hard for a whole ship to

  595. go there, right, but one homes is going to save

  596. the I don't know why he's holding a briefcase in

  597. the scene. Maybe he's drowning in debt or something. I

  598. don't know, it's so weird anyway, and this guy is

  599. holding briefcase just not can already see nicely. So these

  600. homes went out to save these people. And then these

  601. homes came to save this guy who is born and bearded,

  602. and then the homes just true life raft to that

  603. the lido there and then and then sometimes sometimes sound

  604. was here, Sound's here, La might have fallen off the

  605. ship ourselves, right, that's reality. Nobody's perfect. What right you follow?

  606. You need saving? Right? Then someone you go and save

  607. you La. I mean, if you're not assume you can

  608. save yourself love. But anyway, it's a sealer. Just now

  609. I got I don't know what's happening in Beulah, know,

  610. but I give you this example. But just my PJ

  611. is how to explain it now? Because today in PJ,

  612. two homes went out for missions. So I joked during

  613. per your Service like wow, ch don's gonna drop O

  614. this weekend, which is true, I dropping someone like no,

  615. but we will pray for fifteen new commercial cars like

  616. that's I'm not going to say what happened, But two

  617. homes also passa man and linstones went out to save people.

  618. And then the teen's homes went for another mission trip

  619. and then these homes I claim, I claim it's my homes.

  620. Because later after church, the campus team is organizing this

  621. thing called the Field to Fuel. You know who came

  622. out the named michell la Uh and she's she's preparing,

  623. she's cooking a storm for them. When I heard them,

  624. like it's very busy, like what are you doing? It's

  625. like cooking roasting chicken line and I'm like, hey, I

  626. cannot go. So she's really cooking a storm for them.

  627. We've got some chemis. Students made four or five of them,

  628. and what they're gonna do is that they're actually gonna

  629. pack startup packs fifty start packs or more like welcome

  630. packs for their freshies. And what we're gonna do is

  631. you're gonna take this welcome packs and they're gonna pass

  632. it on to people. We're not gonna put brnding nothing.

  633. The students are gonna take responsibility to say who I

  634. want to pass this to, to bless them and if

  635. people are curious, they asked, then we see you ready

  636. s goes last. But they're coming together. We're coming together

  637. to save someone. We're doing small things like this it'sn't

  638. have to be big. You know, we're doing small things.

  639. I need to say something because someone needs to be connected.

  640. Someone is a life raft, someone is prayer. Maybe it

  641. doesn't have to be a big thing. Friends, No, no, no, no,

  642. but straightway bring the registration form and straightway sign your

  643. life to XBU. No. Friends, some people just need a prayer.

  644. We can do that. No no, no must be pastor

  645. first past this event or ne pastes can go out.

  646. Only LSBO can go out. No anyone, anybody who knows

  647. this picture came to my mind and and okay, let's

  648. read Luke chapter five vers one. Are you guys? Okay?

  649. Luke Chapter five US one to nine. Okay, I hope

  650. you're catching something out of this. If you're feeling out,

  651. it's not me. It's definitely Holy spirit. Yeah, okay, look

  652. chapter five Okay, and then we're close. Okay. So he

  653. says here so it works as the multitude press about

  654. him to hear the word of God, that he stood

  655. by the lake of Ganessaret and saw two boats standing

  656. by the lake, but the fishermen had gone from them,

  657. and they were washing their nets. Then he got into

  658. one of the boats, which was Simon's and asked him

  659. to put out a little from the land, and he

  660. sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When

  661. he had stopped speaking, he said to Simon, launched out

  662. into the deep and let your nets, let down your

  663. nets walk catch. But Simon answered and said to him, Master,

  664. we have told all night and caught nothing. Nevertheless, at

  665. your word, I will let down the net. Passa steven.

  666. We want to organize another our reach. We tried ready

  667. so many times. Plan homes again. Hey, nobody, come now,

  668. we're all enjoyed fellowship and homes. Go ahead and do

  669. all this kind of thing again. Ha, another prayer service.

  670. A Okay, I'm joking. I'm joking. I'm joking. But Simon

  671. answered and said to him, Master, see but no signs

  672. we can do. But I'm I'm also talking to leaders here.

  673. We tried so much ready, papase Alvin, I really pray

  674. for all of the people who did. I keep getting rejected.

  675. But I tried so long, really, so many years I've

  676. been praying for my my you know, my family members

  677. who do not believe, so many years and they haven't

  678. even In fact, now I'm being persecuted. You mean do again,

  679. do again, try again. I'm so tired. So to it. Master.

  680. We have to all night and caught nothing. Hello, I

  681. know what I'm doing, eh, I know what I'm doing. Jesus,

  682. I did it. Really, I'm the fisherman, not you. I

  683. did really. Nevertheless, at your word, I will let down

  684. the net. So they signaled, and when he had done this,

  685. they caught a great number of fish and their net

  686. was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the

  687. other board to come and help them, and they came

  688. and filled both the boats so that they begin to sink. Friends,

  689. this morning, I believe that Christ wants xbu to launch

  690. out into the deep. And when I say that, I'm

  691. not saying like, Okay, come on, everybody, cue your job

  692. and become food. No no, no, no, that's not what I'm saying.

  693. Launch out into the deed, whatever it may mean to you. Right.

  694. But the one thing I'm beginning to realize is that

  695. launching out into the deep takes obedience and submission. Obedience

  696. to no obedience to the pastor or obedience to Christ. Okay,

  697. it takes obedience at submission he does. I'm actually developing

  698. a message on submission because I think it's something that really,

  699. if we really want to experience the more of God

  700. in our lives, are that it only takes two things,

  701. obedience and submission. It only takes two things. You know why,

  702. because when we take that step of faith, then we

  703. will experience God's hand in our lives because God is

  704. pleased with faith. I'm not just saying this out of

  705. you know, the air. For those of you who are

  706. believer us for a long time, you understand this that

  707. when you step out in faith's the one is steping on.

  708. Faith means God says something. You obey most of the time,

  709. and God says something and asks us to do it right.

  710. We can't see the front partner, We can't see the

  711. later power. It takes faith one, because in the Bible

  712. it says, but without faith, it is impossible to please him.

  713. For he who comes to God must believe that he

  714. is and that He is a rewarder of those who

  715. diligiently seek him Hebrews eleven six. It takes faith first,

  716. and with the stepping out in faith, then God will

  717. reward you. That's how it works. Friends. It's not the

  718. way I intended it, but I've experienced it myself, so

  719. I understand how it works different ones. I've understand how

  720. it works, how faith works, but it does require us

  721. to step out into the deep, not playing the shallows.

  722. Shallows is easier, Shallows is me hang out in my

  723. homes was in the shadow. Now I'm really in the deep.

  724. Let me let me share you how deep I am.

  725. Right yesterday, so yesterday we had a homes meeting. We

  726. hardly have homes, we think, because it's just three of us,

  727. Me and Michaell and my wife that I just described,

  728. my wife described Michelle. But yesterday we're a home meeting.

  729. And then we said, you know what I think, prior

  730. to this, maybe it's been a little bit more chill, right,

  731. but I think let's let's start taking it seriously a

  732. little bit more. Not to say we've not been, So

  733. we say, you know what, I think what will help

  734. is that, you know, so we're going to change our

  735. homes day to a Thursday, same week with everybody else,

  736. so we're not like like some splinter cell thing. Not

  737. to say we are la, but you know, and we

  738. will meet on a Thursday. And and and we thought, okay,

  739. because I don't want to burden you know, Michelle and Bonica.

  740. I'm going to try to ask my lsbo if anybody

  741. can offer up their home, not permanently, but maybe once

  742. off right once and we're going to be no medic

  743. for a while. It's gonna be tough. We're gonna be

  744. no for all. We're going to try. And then I said, hey,

  745. you know what, home's greater place enough, right, maybe let's

  746. start bringing back teams. Huh, teams are it's just my family,

  747. Michelle and that one Camper student want to do teams?

  748. Real weird right? No, go all out, prepare, invite card

  749. do teams that can prepare, invite car Mark got designed,

  750. and then we invite people. Let's go out, Lah, know

  751. me comfortable, go out La. And we and as we're

  752. talking and let me tell you how real it was.

  753. And so we're talking, my wife brought up like, hey,

  754. you know, our kids school next day, so she's not

  755. keen on Thursday because next day our kids got school.

  756. Sometimes we finished homestet ten tenth ten to travel back late. Okay,

  757. parents who understand this, right? So she said, maybe the

  758. only way we can navigate these logistics because you know,

  759. we still we still have to fash a camera. Student

  760. no transport, right, so we say we drive to Kasa.

  761. She sattled against I fetch a camera students. Are we

  762. agreed that we should do that to build this okay sacrifice,

  763. but it drive to cars from kickin no, not from

  764. PJ no. And then I was like, you know what,

  765. Let's do homes earlier so that we can end earlier

  766. for the consideration of the kids. Right, maybe you can

  767. meet at seven o'clock anthy and we are like, yeah,

  768. let's try and do that. And then we just need

  769. to be chop chop. Why am I sharing you all

  770. these details, our friends? It's not easy, but it's necessary.

  771. It's not going to be convenient. But let me give

  772. you the picture. We have experienced so much goodness here

  773. in church, with our relationship with God, with Christ. Maybe

  774. some of us here we have come out of a

  775. dark place. Can you imagine this person? Can you go

  776. back to the picture, this person that used to be

  777. where you're at, but God not there for them because

  778. they don't know him. We have God. So however deep

  779. a hole we are, we can bounce back because we

  780. know who our God is, We know crisis, we understand

  781. our faith. You don't have to be a passador to

  782. do that. You know, you know what I mean. You

  783. have the community of believers, but think about those that

  784. don't have that. We should go and save them. Think

  785. about it five years ago, three years ago, what that

  786. call were you in? You are out of it right,

  787. Praise God. Now think about the person that is in

  788. the same that hole. But God, no church, no community

  789. know you. This is why we do what we do,

  790. not just to be a club. So x B you

  791. it's time to step out in faith and not be fearful.

  792. It is time. It is also time to obey the

  793. call of God and stop playing in the shadows. Stop it.

  794. You know, if we want to be fruitful, then we

  795. need to obey and submit and trust God. And can

  796. I show you one last time at the end of

  797. the day. I don't know what you will think. Okay,

  798. I passed away, He passed them. He must encourage us

  799. this way, ma, I mean, I don't know what you

  800. will think. Okay, if you think that way, then well

  801. that's how you think. Then up to you. I don't

  802. know what you will do after this message. But the

  803. one thing I know with the clarity is that every

  804. one of us here have responsibility over our own faith,

  805. and we have responsibility over what God gives us and

  806. what we have, and how we steward it is up

  807. to us. That's the reality. You stewart your family, you

  808. stow it your life, you stow your faith. That's the reality.

  809. And we all have to answer God one day. You know, everybody,

  810. I know for a fact that my kids, my two kids,

  811. my two wonderful kids, have to accept Jesus in their

  812. own No, they're not born a Christian. Friends, I'm sorry.

  813. If you're here and you think you're born a Christian.

  814. After this, you need to accept Christ okay for the

  815. first time, because there's no such thing as okay. I'm ething.

  816. It's all I see change Christian, No such thing. Friends,

  817. I'm so sorry. Everyone here who is a believer, you

  818. understand this, that you have to make that call yourself

  819. and choose Christ yourself and how you live your life

  820. is your own responsibility. The wonderful thing about that is

  821. you're not doing it the Lord. That's why we have

  822. the church, That's why we have homes, That's why we

  823. have message, that's why we encourage each others, that's why

  824. we challenge each other This is a challenge. That's why

  825. it's not play play one, it's real friends. But we

  826. all have that responsibility and we all have to decide

  827. what you want, what you subscribe to, how you want

  828. to live your life, how you want to serve the Lord.

  829. You have to decide. Yes, there might be a call

  830. of God. That's why I will say many a call,

  831. but if you're chosen, well, I would change it a

  832. little bit. Many a call, but only if you chose,

  833. only if you chose to go the next step. And

  834. it's the choice, that is what I'm clear about. So

  835. my encouragement really is time to step up. What that

  836. means I don't know. You know, don't do it alone

  837. and talk to your home leader, talk to you everything,

  838. star power you know, and maybe more button is a

  839. scolar Lord. What is the thing that I need to

  840. do to step up? Because you want to see everybody

  841. move forward? And can I share this? You know we

  842. want to say people right, but do you know that

  843. it's very difficult for you to say people if you

  844. are in trouble? That makes sense? Right? How how is

  845. this going to say? Cannot? So the other cool thing

  846. about God is that you need to cult him yourself

  847. as sir, you need to be okay first. You need

  848. to be a first. You need to be stable first,

  849. crying on because after you're stable, then you can go

  850. help other people. Because if you're not stable, very hard.

  851. So get stable, overcome, be fruitful, grow mature, and then

  852. God will use you. Amen.
