We're gonna read X chapter two, verse seventeen to twenty one. Okay,

think majority of you don't know me, because I was

I'm not joking, just to let you know that I'm

X Chapter two, verse seventeen to twenty one. What does

it say in God's Word? Okay, he says here, Okay,

maybe I'll give you a bit of context. So when

you read Extchapter two, in the beginning, it talks about

the coming of the Holy Spirit. Okay, and it is

something as extras we believe in that the day of

Pentecosts have come and through the Holy Spirit, uh, you know,

the spirit that Jesus promised us. He said, I have

to go, so that you know I will, because if

I don't go, the helper cannot come. But when I leave,

there will be a helper, you know, because Jesus is

fresh and blood. He is he is a man, you know,

he's God in man form by his pression. But he

can only be in one place at one time. But

when he left, he gave us the Holy Spirit right,

and the Holy Spirit. The wonderful thing about God's presence

is that he can be everywhere at any time. Does

all of us believe if you become a believer right,

you have God Spirit residing in you. A man only

shared a sermon, and this is part of his sermon.

He says here and he quotes the prophet Dwell. And

it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,

that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh.

Your sons and daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall

see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on

my men servants, and on my maid servants. I will

pour out my spirit in those days, and they shall prophesy.

I will show wonders in heaven, a birth, and signs

in the earth. Beneath blood and fire and vapor were smoke.

The sun shall be turned into darkness and the milk

into blood before the coming of the great, awesome and

awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to

pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord

shall be saved. Do you realize some of these things

that I'm sharing right now is very significant to us

because it says that whoever calls on the name of

remember the early days of X when I was here.

And of course he was exciting. We are campus students

or more like you know, fresh young adults, like a

lot of you here I see young faces and then

you know, we follow past her, you know, And there

were different things happening, different challenges, different things, and we're

all excited because God was really moving in X. And

I do still believe that God is still moving in X,

you know, instead of one place now is in many places.

But the sway of God is still here with us,

right And of course, you know, for those of you

who have been in X for a while, and you

would also see that our church has gone through different challenges.

You know, I have a lot of friends that you know,

we builcha together and all.

And maybe they're not here today, you know, because where

they're called elsewhere or whatever you want to say. And

there are a lot of things that happened. And of course,

when you experience discouragement and you experience different challenges in life,

sometimes you will come to a place where I are,

you know, so much pain. Now I don't want to

do really right, I don't want to believe really, I

don't want to do anything ready, but friends this day today,

I mean, whether you are in exts for like twenty

years like me, or whether you are just you just

joined us in the past year and maybe you know

your journey we've got right, whether it's like a few

months on me. You know, I don't know whether any

of you are fresh believers, right, or you're a Christian

for many years and you've become cynical, You've become like, ah,

you know, maybe this is it for life?

Have you given up on your dreams? Have you lost hope?

Whatever? Capacity? I really do believe that God wants us

to dream again. Do you know that there is a

recipe to experience abandoned life? Do you know that there

is a recipe? You know? The interesting thing about recipes

is that you know, of course when you are Chinese

recipes or by FeelA, but when you want to break something,

you have to be accurate, right, have to be exact accurate.

I think it's more like Chinese child cookingla in terms

of recipe, right, because we all want to know that

what's the ten step? But in christ there's no ten

step exact, but there are principles that we have to follow.

There is a recipe for certain things, and I want

to share with you the recipe that I believe will

lead us to abandoned life will lead us to dreaming again. Okay,

to the Old Testament Joel chapter two. We go back

to the scripture that you know Peter quoted, right, So

first point Joel chapter Twoards one says, blow the trumpet

in sion and sound and alarm in my holy mountain.

Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the

day of the Lord is coming, for it is at hand. Okay,

how does this apply to us? Well, I think we

need to remember that God is coming. And some of

course say, Jeus came ready, he came ready, Yes, but

is coming back?

Right?

But the day of the Lord is coming. There will

be a day of reckoning, you know. There will be

a day where we have to account for our lives.

There will be a day where we have to come

for everything we did.

You know.

That's that's the reality, right, There's something we believe in us,

believe us. So if we live our life flippantly, if

we live our lives and so there's no consequence. If

we live our lives just you know, fulfilling our canal desires.

If I use some of these Christian words. You know,

just do whatever you want, do whatever you like. You

know you don't like this, you don't like that, don't

do you like? Decide to go for it? Right, be

very careful because the day of the Lord is coming,

you know, So how passe Alvin? Since I know that

God says coming, how what do I do now? Well,

there is a call to repentance Joel two US twelfter thirteen.

If you read on it talks about now that forces

the Lord turn to me with all your heart, with

fasting and weeping and with mourning. So rent your heart

and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God.

For he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and

of great kindness, and he relents from doing harm. See,

God is the one is in charge of friends. It

is not the church leadership. It is not the pastor,

it is not the organization. God is in charge. And

if there's one thing that I know about church, we

you know Pastor Kenna has said many times that the

Holy Spirit is the one in charge of our church.

So a lot of things we do, it's not relying

on the man's relying on where is God leading us?

And we have seen the fruit of where God is leading.

doing conference. Did I know myself a believer, a follow

of God? Did I know in twenty fifteen when I

got the diagnosis that my one of my kids, right

has autism level one or my autism? Did I know

that I'll be leading a society and helping people who

are not believers. I didn't know. But it was a

time where everything fell apart. It was a time where I,

you know, one of the one of deala No, I

wouldn't say deal Okay. I have a lot of low

times in my life, but one of the lowest time

in my life.

Right, so much sure, I say, God, why me?

You know, find a richer person because very expensive center

for therapy I cannot afford.

Right? Did I know? I don't know?

Right?

A lot of times in our lives we go through

downsides that we don't know where the lot will lead us,

but we experienced it down there. We give up, we

give up on our dreams, we give them our hope. Right,

we give up, or we get angry, or we point fingers. Friends.

The day of the law is coming however you see it.

God Day will come. But there is a call for

us to repent, to repent. What does repenting mean? Turn

away from our wicked ways, right, Turn away from wicked ways, right,

and go to Him with all our hearts.

Right, rend your heart, not your garments.

significant because God says, I want your heart. I don't

want your money, I don't want your house. I want

your heart. That is what God is saying to us here.

But what do we offer to him? Do we just

offer to him two hours on a Sunday? Do we

offer to him?

Because it says that He is gracious and merciful, slow

And in Joel chapter two, verse eighteen to twenty seven,

the scripture.

Do you know that if you don't repent, God come

come and save you, because you will still be in

So there has to be a repentance first. Friends, there

has to be repentance first. And then we repent. We

go to God and we say, oh God, okay, it's surrender.

Do you know that God will come and save you?

Do you know that He will come and restore? Do

It says in Jelgh chapter two, he will pour out

his sprint all flesh. Let's go to that judge chapter two,

verse twenty eight. It says, and it shall come to

pass afterward that will pour out my spirit all flesh.

Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men

shall dream dreams. Your young men shall see visions, and

also on my men servants and my maid servants. I

will pour up my spirit in those days, and I'll

show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood

and fire and feels smoke. The sun shall be turned

into darkness. And it shall come to pass that whoever

calls and the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Amen.

For in mount sience in Jerusalem, there shall be deliverance,

as the Lord has said, among the remnants, whom the

Lord calls among the remnants. Science, we feel like we're

the remnant. So God said, He'll pour out his spirit. Okay,

remember first point, God's stay will come. So let's be

very aware. We can't live the way we live because

God's stay is going to come.

Second, what do we do? Repent? Repent? The wonderful thing

I tell you about God.

He said, no matter how bad you are, no matter

how horrible things you think you've done, all you need

to do is repent and God receive you. That's the

wonderful thing about faith, you know. And there's no penance.

Know that when need pay do you know that because

the penants have been paid by Jesus, right, So we

shouldn't live flipping lives. We shouldn't live lives in the flesh. Right,

we don't catch that right? And then when you repent,

God said, I will restore. I will restore to you.

Don't worry. I will restore to you, and I will

pour out my spirit on you. So let's learn a

little bit. Who is this spirit? Who is this spirit?

And why is this significant? Oh God, you pour it

your spirit so that can become past. Right, Oh Lord,

you pour a spirit so that I.

it's deeper than that. It's deeven than that. Right.

Who is the spirit? Acts Chapter two, verse one of four.

it's not just Holy Spirit, I speak in tongues, I

feel good. No, it's deeper. Let's learn again the significance

of the Holy Spirit. So the Holy Spirit, who was

promised by Christ came on this earth. The Holy Spirit

is who Spirit of God, Spirit of God. He is

the presence of God. So you say, oh, I feel

God's presence Holy Spirit? Do you know that God's presence

is not just limited to worship only, It's not just

limited to conferences only, camps only, not just limited to

Is it just about the goose bumps? Or is God's

Spirit transformation. He is our helper and he is a person,

the Spirit of God, part of the Trinity, Father, Son,

Holy Spirit. Do you do you realize that every time

we do the benediction, it's not just for sake for

the communion of God the Father. When you're leaving, everybody,

raise up your hands for communion of God the Father

and after Son, Jesus Christ and off.

What were we saying? Words?

Are lip services it? No, we're sending you out. We've

got's spirit because we know out there. We're here in

the you know, in in in the community of believers, right,

we're all very nice. We're not say halleluia, ah Amen,

we don't forgive each other I call black hole. But

out there it's different. Now, out there got people who

don't know God. They're not going to be as nice

to you. They're not going to give you hope. They're

not going to know the word of God. So are

we influenced more by here or out there? Said, we

don't understand when we go out there. We have to

you know, you know what they say right when you're

wrong to be like the Romans. But yet, if you

read the scripture, he said, we are but so journ

us in this place.

We're just travelers. We're here for a while. Need this

Don't so fast call this place your home. Are you

because I go to my father and you see me

no more. Of judgment, because the ruler of this world

is judged. So the spirit convicts our hearts, friends, of sin.

It's not Pastor Daniel that convicts your hearts. If something

you're feeling outs right now, it's not me, because my

word is not power one. But so holy Spirit in

your life that convicts you, right you know? That's why

do you know that the responsiblity or someone getting safe,

he's not a responsibility. We are just called to preach

the word. We're just called to share Jesus how people

receive it. It is the conviction of the Holy Spirit. It's

not my problem. But see, if I don't preach the word,

if I don't share my friends who Christ is, there's

nothing to be done. But when I operate in that

right partnering in the spirit, he's the one that convicts.

He's the one that leads right. So that's one point.

Second point, the Spirit transforms us by being born again.

The spirit gives us new life. John three five Days

says Jesus answered, most assuredly, I say to you, unless

one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot

enter the King of God. That which is born of

the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of

the spirit Spirit. Do not marvel that I say to you,

you must be born again. The wind blows where the wishous,

and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell

where it comes from and where it goes. So it's

everyone who is born of the spirit. So you know

he's a where Christian lingo. Okay, oh, you're born again.

You'll catch what that means or not. It means that

you die to self, die to your old But Alvin,

I grew up like that. My family is like that.

I am like that. My parents are like that. Today,

I tell you don't have to be anymore because you're

born again. Yes, do we still fall in the flesh.

Yes? Do we still experience things?

You know, Christians, sometimes we say this, the generational stops here.

Your catch there. We don't just pray no, we are

I tell myself, I grew up in a family that's dysfunctional,

but I try my best to give my kids a

functional family. I remember having this conversation with someone's very

very funny because I was just like, oh, you know,

dysfunctional family law decide all these like card in my

lot of things that I'm not proud of at all.

And this person who is someone well maybe not someone

and I think to myself, I'm not perfect, but why

can my kids experience something different because I got Christ

in my life, because Christ teach me to say sorry

to my son, because Christ teach me to forgive, because

Christ teach me to control my anger, and the Holy

Street helps me so I can be a better person.

Right, A lot of people know me. I mean, y'all

don't know me that well.

But there are people who are close to me that

know me right from the first time I come to

next and then now I'm ready different person. It's not

that I would say, yes, it's the sapship, theur, but

I really believe it's God There's made me a better person.

There has to be a transformation. Friends, it cannot be

this is my life and it's like that. Then we

are using the flesh as and excuse. We shouldn't right,

we should recognize that, hey, I have a new life. Really,

Paul says, I do the things I don't want to do.

I don't do the things I want to do. All

of us are in the same boat. The postle builds sours,

you see, have that problem. So it's very normal for

us to have this problem. However, we've got to remember

Holy Spirit. You transform our lives. I can be a

better person because of you. Do you know that the

spirit leads us to live for God, to live a

different life as children of God.

That's what the Holy Spirit does right.

Romans eight seventeen to Tielve seventeen says, therefore, brethren, were

adapt us not to the flesh, to live according to

the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh,

you will die. But if by the spirit you put

to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,

these are sons of God. For you do not receive

the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you receive

the spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out Abah, Father,

the Spirit himself bed witness with our spirit. There we

are children of God. And if children, then heirs errors

of God and join errors with Christ. If indeed we

suffer with him, we may also be glorified together. The

Bible doesn't means it's words. Did they tell you that

you're going to suffer? Yes, you are, because the way

you live as people who are led by the spirit

will be scorned a outside from this space, the way

you live will be a better way. But people are

gonna say, how are you one? How are you going

to do this one? Why are you so clean?

One?

Because that God uses me? Thats whyla why? So you

know fill in the blanks. But you see, the Spirit

teaches us and leads us. I don't know whether any

of you have experiences before where you were faced with

a decision to make, but you're convicted to make the

heart decision because it was the right decision.

Friends, that is the Holy Spirit.

I pray that you listen to him more and more

to make those decisions because if not, you're going to

reject him. And after a while, it's going to be

very easy to make the other decision, very easy.

Okay.

So the Spirit also teaches us and reminds us of

Christ's teachings John twenty sixes. But the helper, the Holy Spirit,

whom the Father will send in my name, he will

teach you all things and bring to your members of

things all things that I say to you.

That's what the Holy Spirit does. You know. I don't

know any of you have experienced before.

Maybe you've been a believer for a while already, and

something happens you know in your life. You know, have

you ever experienced before that when you're doing your quiet

time the word speaks to you.

Or maybe one day you were.

Experiencing something and then suddenly the scripture came to you

and you remember it and encourage you. That's the Holy Spirit.

That is the Holy Spirit reminding you of Christ's teachings.

That's what's happening. It is a SuperNature thing that's happening.

It is not a natural thing. Your cash there not

this one. I like romans A. Likewise, the Spirit also

helps in our weaknesses. Love this, for we do not

know what we should pray for as we ought, but

the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which

cannot be uttered. So the Spirit interceeds for us in

But in our weaknesses God helps us. God helps us

as long as we're humble and we want to learn,

and we are not too proud to say this is

my way or the highway. As long as we're humble,

is so big for us in acts because no man

is greater and we trust the Bible says right to uh,

don't give me a hard time, because I recognize my

role as your shepherd.

bit more of because I want to do your teaching.

So let me talk about myself a little bit. Okay.

So I think in acts, we in the leadership, we

are one thing to operate like how the church or

or I think we learned recently want to administrate the

church according to the five four ministry. You'll understand five

four ministry right, apostle okay, used to apostle. Why apostle

tumb because can touch all the other gift things.

Right. Then you have what's the finger.

Apostle profit right, cost, pointing and people, and that says

the Lord, that says the lot. And then the middle

finger is the evangelist, cost reaches out the furst. And

then the fourth finger is pastor married to the church,

ring finger right, and then passor shepherda and then of

course the final finger is teacher because can go into

your ear Okay, So the five four ministry. Okay, you're

digging inside the ear ma because you're not listening. So

the five four ministry. So God gives us the church.

God gives us the five four ministry to administerate the church.

You can share, not, okay. So let me talk a

little bit about myself, Okay, understanding this, doing the there's

some assessment that we have to do and all that

kind of stuff. I have two gift things, that's very clear.

One is apostle and another one is teacher. Right, and

and uh, before this, I will do things without realizing

that I'm operating in my gifting and not just that

other people will not realize that this is a gift thing.

But now as we recognize the gifting, we allow each

other to go according to the gifting. Okay, right, that's

why I thought about myself. You might not know me,

but I thought about myself. Those who have the postolic

gift thing moves the church forward, okay, moves the church

forward the people with a postelic gift thing. But but

I must also let you know that in one church

there's one key a postla most of the time one

it right, is wasted.

and you know, and I'm like, wow, okay, I see

the gifting in play. Right. She will probably be the

first to think about, Oh, who else can I talk

to you to invite to church this week? That's how

Evangelis sings. The question is friends, may be a surprise

because you've never functioned that way before. Maybe you need

to start. Do you know that the wonderful thing about

the five four ministry that God gave us is that

when you have the gift, it is the most easiest

way to function for you. Trying to see what's the

right way to say it. For example, not everyone here

will plant a homes not everyone here you will think

about ten thousand things you hold. You're on a plant homes. Okay,

if you're a pastoral you won't think so fast about

planting homes. But someone with a positive gifting, no problem.

you know, you evangelize to people about the letters, chocolate

now that you had, or the latest movie or watch,

and you're a very good teacher. But then I ask him,

why are you not operating the gifting that got giving

you in church? Oh?

I don't know.

Lah, I scared I sacan or wrong line. I scared

I lead them astray, I teach the wrong thing because

that you're already operating in your evangelistic gifting? That's why

provoking one another, enving one another. The Spirit produces fruit

that you become a new person, not so fast, angry,

There is a reason why when people know your believer

that they expect you a higher standard.

Do you know that?

Do you know that only Christians are placed on a

higher standard why? I also don't understand though, at the

same time, we also get a lot of flag for

a lot of things. Well, I believe that we are

placed on a higher standard because there are people who

really live out their faith and there is a transformation.

But the transformation only happens if we allow God to

transform us. That's why the repentance have to come. Because

God is in the business of restoration. Remember it starts

with saying God wants us to dream again. God wants

us to dream again. I don't know what dreams you

have for your life, but I believe that God wants

us to restore our dreams, but not restore our dreams

on our terms. He wants to restore our dreams on

his terms. That's the one thing that's very difficult for men.

I think it's very hard for us to submit. And

I will go as far as to say this, If

we cannot even submit to the authorities in our lives,

how sure are we we can submit to God, the

authority of all authorities decide. The Bible even teaches us

to submit. We've got to submit to the government, something

to the leader, your boss, Oh but my boss don't believer. Yes,

submit because God plays the person over you. Oh, I

cannot submit to passa Daniel. I think all of you

here canna because he's a very nice guy. Right, but

you give me or not? There has to be submission.

You are under the leadership of extras. No, it's not

a just plants or let's be rebel please donor friends.

For whatever reason, I know this person was called to

do kiss ministry. But for whatever reason, now discourage went

through major discouragement. So drop kiss ministry, don't do kiss

mystry the moon come yourself, but still want a self God,

still have heard. So choose campus ministry because seemingly more happening, okay,

perception wise. So when they did that for a while,

no fruit, no fruit, friends, no fruit. One year, two year,

no fruit. And I told this verson, I said, you

know what, I'm gonna play the disciple role and say

stop it.

tell you how I found out that kids me you

see wasting. One day we have a casual conversation. So actually,

you know what, No, I don't really like to eat

brocoli and I don't like itt broccoli, but I will

eat broccoli if a kid is here because I want

to make sure they know that vegetables is important. Damn Like,

nobody will do that. You think about it. It's something funny, right.

But nobody will do that unless they really love kids. Damn.

Like, maybe campus is not your thing now, you know

how you see people's gifting?

Right?

wants to restore our dreams. He wants to restore what

is lost or what has been lost, the excitement lost.

He wants to restore that. But we've got to get

according to the program. We got to get according some

things you cannot move move away from, right, the understanding

of repentance, the understanding that we're under God, the understanding

of the understanding of authority and discipleship.

We can't run away from that.

And the more you fight it, the more frustrated and

miserable we're going to become. Don't There is a recipe,

and It's God's recipe, Papas Alvin. If God loves me

so much, and if God wants the best for me,

why am I going through all this struggle?

Well, I got just something to share with you on that.

John Tantan says, the thief does not come except to

steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come

that they may have life, and that they may have

it more abundantly. The Bible also says the highway to

hell is why and everybody is looking for it. But

the path to eternal life is narrow, and it's very hard.

To find. So, yes, you have struggle.

The easy things are not always the best things, but

there will be struggle. Let me share with you my

personal experience on something like this, and I don't know

how you will impact you. So I remember two thousand

and five, I think two five, Yeah, two years ago we.

Were good.

up I always like to be second person, not top,

I always I'm very comfortable playing the second role.

I'm very very comfortable. You know.

I was the vice president for my librarian, right. I

didn't fight for the president. I just like, Okay, I

can be a viceist. I'm fine because you still get

some form of authority, but you don't have to worry

about the responsibility.

So this problem, lah, So I have that.

And and the reason why I'm involved in in uh

like plays, and it's because of my background. You know,

I do video I do video production, so I'm familiar

with it. Okay, So of course you get people who

are familiar to do, right, and from then on, uh,

you know, for a long time, I decided to be

the producer instead of the director because you know, when

you place, everybody want a director, you know, like fame

and what I mean whatever, And I'm like, nah, I

don'tant to do it, you know, I'll just support support

I will always play the supportive role. And I was

playing the supportive row for a very long time, you know.

And somehow theater was something very close to my heart

as well. You know, I did it in college. It

was you know, I know, Paster Kennet, you also shared

about creative evangelism where we really reach out and I

really do believe in sound the things that we have

because when you do things like this, a lot of

young people will come. A lot of young people be excited.

It's very excited. You want to do place right. But

but as we did it, it got better and better

and better, you know, extra splace. We I think there

were one or two people that came to church because

of our place right. One of them was John put

I think came saw impressed with x TV and then stayed.

You know.

So our place brought a lot of people to church,

you know, and we got so good right that we thought, okay, hey,

maybe people pay to watch it because you got comments lad.

So actually attempted right and I remember we shifted from

Christmas play to meet, you know, because we didn't a

lot of the churches doing Christmas play, so we don't

have five m so we did you know, Christmas in

the middle of the year. And then from that we

did place and we actually attempted, you know, once to

do the play outside right, uh and cell tickets and

we did it. I think some I don't under sound

you hear we're involved with that.

So we did that.

But the thing about drama and the people in drama

is that it's a lot of drama. Good or bed

I don't know. And unfortunately, because I will say that

maybe we're all young, A lot of us are young.

Some of us couldn't manage the drama. And I will

be very honest with you to tell you that we

did lose some people along the way with all the drama.

You know, the as I think about it, right, I

realize reading John ten ten that sometimes it's not people know,

and sometimes we put the blame and get angry and

get offenser at the wrong things, not recognizing that the

teeth is the one that comes to still can't destroy.

You think about it.

Do you think we benefit by Do you think I

will benefit if I just want to mess with Pasa Daniel,

I don't benefit anything. You know, the chiche doesn't benefit

when the people inside don't learn how to forgive each other.

And you know, But but I'll be very honest with you.

That happened.

And I remember our last big play was twenty sixteen.

I was stay involved, and then after that a lot

of drama happened. Then we didn't have people we try

to revive it once or twice didn't happen, right, So Okayler,

good dream bury you ready bury the dream? And then

church grew and then we just do all these different things.

But there is something close to my heart, right uh.

And and the interesting thing I feel about how I

reignited was true work through my own work, because last

year va or So went through something and then passed

to say, let's do a play. And since we have Aya,

let's get a hy people on board. And then he

shared the vision and they were like, okay, you know,

bossay do doula right. But I'll be very honest with you.

I'm not the freest person in the world. This is

another job. I was not very happy La doing it. Okay,

different emotions, lad. So finally we did it. It was good, right,

the script for our first ever play in Acts two

We modify a bit, and we changed I can't even

bit and then we did that, and then after that

we were like, okay, let's just do it. Yay, done,

and then come this year. And I'll be very honest

and say that again, not the freest percent in the

world trying to manage world in all. I was on

the verge of even saying, you know what, I'm not

gonna participate this year because I have valid reason why

I don't want to do. Okay, Okay, I'm very honest

because anyway, my bosses all this, so I can't share openly.

Ah, not not very happy la Okay.

Of course, of course I can just imagine, oh no,

the stress and the trauma that is gonna come again. Okay,

all these different things right and again our friends, can

I be honest, Working with adults is one thing. Working

with primary kids and secondary is a whole new ball game.

Working in primary and second secondary kids that there's no

idea about theater is really challenging, okay, okay, and we

are supposed to deliver a good show.

So I was readily and.

I was like, okay, you know I'm gonna write this

It was a busy week for me.

That week. I can remember this week.

I can't remember exactly when, but it was a two

week period and it was a two week period of

like there was a holiday in between. Yeah, I can't

remember holiday, but there was two week period. Somehow, the

let's just say that the idea for the script was

looming the deadline, and at the same time, I was like,

you know, I'm just gonna write a script and say

here's the script.

I've done my part. I don't you know.

I was gonna do that, but somehow I didn't have

time at all. No, you know, you know, have you

ever been to a situation where you pushed the kriiffer

and you're pushed so near to the cliff that you like,

I do not what to do. So it came to

the point that I really don't want to do any

form of doing will be a bit rash. So it

came to a point, right I can k you not

now that I was like, okay, now whatever, Okay, So

some people okay, whatever will be. I give up on everything, right,

my okay, whatever was totally different my okay, whatever, however,

I just got to bulldoze.

My way to it. Okay. Right.

You got to remember when you're in those situations that

God is with you. So I said, God, I don't

know what you're doing. I don't like it, but I

would just submit. And then He changed my heart. So

I like, okay, you know what I'm just gonna ask

two days. Sorry, bit close to me, okay, So two

days I said, two days I will rush out the script.

Thank God for chaibt. I rush out of screaming two days.

Okay. If you came for the play, you'll know that

where you're like, yeah, actually, yeah, where else can I Yeah,

it's more work, it's more whatever.

If I want to get involved in my kids plaining,

if let's say there and now school, I have to

take leave.

I have to. It's harder. No.

So I'm like, Okay, Lord, I will embrace this challenge.

I will embrace this stress that's coming. I will embrace it.

And I tell you, the thing that's super interesting about

God is something that you think is giving you grief

and stress can give you so much joy. Okay, I

the Everything. I fast forward one week before the play

uh PJ because we did the play in pjl A

and one of the actors main actors came because the

dad went to check the sound system. So the actor

came to see the play. The stage right and this person,

I mean broken family and all right, this person came

look at the stage. I was like, oh, hey, you're here,

you know to feel the place? Say yeah, yeah, yeah, excited.

I'm like okay, okay, great. Then I'm like, why don't

you go on stage? Then the person said, huh can

And then as a person was standing there, that young

person was standing there looking at the crowd, the person

told this to me.

You know, Elvin, I'm very excited. I'm like, okay, he said.

You know, I used to sit there to watch plays

on stage because my mom used to work for the

theater company and this dater company.

Actually we work with them in the.

Early days of BJ Life Arts, right when they were

renting the Best Words and I know the owner and all.

My mom used to work with them part time. And

because the couple had no kids, they always give her

free tickets to bring us. So it felt like we

were their kids, and me and my brother will come

and watch the place.

And now next week I'm going to be here presenting.

Wow, almost cried, Where can you get this kind of

experience for a young life? You see, maybe I'm overthinking it,

but if I can give a little bit of hope

to this young person who may have experienced many hopeless

days due to different challenges with family and all, if

they were so was something that they can look forward

to in their life, why not it be this my

perspective change, God changed my perspective.

Okay. Was it still stressful, yes?

Did I still have sleep last nights some days, yes,

But it was a good presentation and the amount of

testimonies that came out of that amazing. I tell you

one more. There was a young girl always wear masks

on but she was dancing on stage and her mom

because she's very shy. Okay, I don't know why now

young people shy wear mask Okay, that's thema Okay. Her

mom came for the play, saw her daughter on stage

dancing without the mask in front of everybody. She cried

through out the play, and she says that this is

the best Sending her to v A is the best

decision I've ever made.

And I'm like, wow, Lord.

Amazing, amazing that you can use a play to impact

the lives of people. So friends, I'm segueing to the

dream again. Before this My conversation is, hey, Bassa, a

postaly giftinger, I think we need to do something for

expression slah. It's like two years back, lack, but because

my heart was still like that, and I say, I'm

not the three est personal I say, Pasta, you know what,

I'm willing to help out for two years, raise up

someone to take it on because I'm not young already

send new blood to do this, you know, right and

now of Coura just like, okay, whatever are okay. So

then we said, let's plan after this VA production. I thought, Passa,

I said, Basta, I'm committed to this as so as

it takes. But yes, I will still raise to the

next generation. I really want to see because I remember

looking together. I remember the days where we really broke

just so amazed at how God can you see it again?

It's just a play, but it was God leading us.

to the Lord.

I have got my railer right. But now I know

my way was not God's la right. There was a

all these different things. But because the heart has changed,

I'm really thinking about Christmas next yeary And someone recently

told me and I started again, not planning, planning, planning, right, okay,

because to me, it's like read it and wait until

this is done, think about the future art right. So

I got recD script. Someone gave me a script. I'm like, okay, great,
