You're listening to a message to go from ex church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
All right, so we want to recap from last week.
-
Come on, church, are you with me? Do you have
-
your notebooks? Okay, it's too quiet for me, and I've
-
lost my voice, so I cannot shout and scream and
-
say Amen Hallelujah. You gotta do it for me. Okay,
-
promise can can Sharon? Can? Amen? My brother they lost
-
his voice, but okay, we're two people lost boys still
-
saying Amen. All right, we want to recap, So you
-
all just recap from last week. We unpack. We are
-
unpacking to understand and to undertake what God has given
-
to ex church. Amen. The reminder of the big vision?
-
What is the big vision? When someone asks you what's
-
your church vision? Well, our church vision is based on
-
Haberkak chapter two, verse fourteen, Genesis one twenty eight Hyperca
-
chapter two, verse fourteen says anybody, anybody the ex church
-
members come on. Amen. Okay, thank you for the leaders
-
who have memorized this. Now partners, come on. What is it?
-
Hypergod Chapter two, verse fourteen says bah earth shall be
-
filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.
-
As the waters cover the sea. It means everybody, everybody,
-
And how would that happen? Genesis one twenty eight. The
-
Lord said, go be fruitful, be foodful, and multiply. That's
-
how you're gonna feel the earth. Amen. So what is
-
it about? It is to fill the earth. How be
-
fruitful and multiply. Multiply means make disciples. We are called
-
to make disciples. Why why? Because God, once you have
-
dominion over the earth, wants you and I to have
-
an influence in our community on the earth. Amen. Okay,
-
So why are we doing this? Why has God given us?
-
What has God given to us about? This? Whole vision
-
is to prepare us. Amen. So while the vision is
-
to see the whole earth filled with the knowledge of
-
the glory of the Lord. A man. The mission is anybody,
-
last week? What is the mission? Thank you? Anybody else
-
want to say? Say lauda la? Yes? Making disciples? Oh?
-
That make the difference? Okay, the difference? All right, So
-
make disciples. This is our mission. And this comes out
-
of Matthew chapter twenty eight. All right, he says, go
-
ye into all the world and make disciples. We didn't
-
coin it up. We didn't cook it up. No, it's
-
not passing. Kenada came up and it's in the Bible.
-
So don't curse us when we say make disciples, say
-
I don't want to be disciples. He said the Bible.
-
You have to be disciples a man. It's what God
-
has come unded, not Kenneth cheat. All right, So we
-
may not be able to fulfill the big vision of
-
filling the earth with the knowledge of the glory of
-
the Lord. But what we could do is to be
-
fruitful and multiply, meaning be fruitful, reach another person, one person,
-
another person. Right, so what would this look like? Three
-
thoughts for us? Number One, we make disciples, all right,
-
we make disciples that make the difference. I don't. We're
-
not in the business or making disciples who make a difference.
-
The difference he has to impact the person's life or
-
the community's life. And we can do this together. We
-
want to say to you that Jesus. We want to
-
tell people when we make disciples, Jesus is the only way.
-
That's no other way. Jesus is the only way to
-
have eternal life. Right. Number Two, we produce leaders. Leaders
-
are are pioneers, pioneers are leaders because the statement that
-
we had last week was turning every pre believer to
-
be a partner, every partner to be a pioneer, and
-
every pioneer to be a parent even you know, the
-
question was given the Doctor Daniel home past the Doctor
-
Daniel Home and said, if you had to do it again,
-
he was he was as he was the senior pastor
-
of UMC. He's retired now he is doing other ministry.
-
So what would what would you if you had to
-
do it again? What would you do? You know what
-
he said? He said, if I were to do it again,
-
I would start a church with nobody, and I would
-
reach the loss and disciple them one by one. Not
-
church transfers, not take people from anywhere else, start from scratch.
-
That's what it is to turn every pre believer we
-
reach to be a partner. Why a partner, Because partners
-
put their hands to the plow, partner with the Lord
-
and get the work done. Partners become pioneers. We don't
-
have time and space for church pew warmers. Okay, okay,
-
no church pure warmers. We don't have time for that.
-
I don't you and I don't have time for that.
-
For warming the seeds. They don't need the warming. The
-
people need the warmth of Jesus love. Amen. The seats
-
don't warming. So that's what it means. No, no church,
-
pure warming. Turn every pre believe it to a partner,
-
and you partner together with the Lord. Together we partner,
-
and this partner you can be a pioneer. You can
-
be a leader, and this leader will become a parent. Okay,
-
why parent? So what does the what does the The
-
key thing here is the pioneer is a leader. All right.
-
We want to start anything for God. We want to
-
send God's the person who has been a disciple. We
-
raise Daniels. We talked about Daniels. And then as you
-
have been a good disciple, you experience discipleship, you in
-
turn can become a good parent because now you can
-
can do the job of you do the whole cycle again.
-
You understand, Amen, the reason why we plant churches. Friends,
-
if you people want to plant churches, we already have
-
the mechanism at hand and we plan. But I never
-
planned a church with just anybody. People can walk up
-
to us. We could be an x KKX or wherever.
-
Oh I want to plan a church. Sorry, I don't
-
send anybody. We only send people who are disciples, who
-
are pioneers, who are leaders. For example, we plan a disciple,
-
we produce a leader passor doctor Lazarus, who was once
-
a student who came to study in Eli, and he
-
was at our camp and he sat there and I thought,
-
oh my gosh, this is a gangster. There was his
-
six foot four and he's sitting there and laughing. I'm
-
thinking he's saved or what? And he was he is
-
a believer, he was, he's a believer. But I tell
-
you what, anyone who comes into ex doesn't just become
-
a believer. You can be on a fire. This young
-
man became on fire for the Lord and from that
-
position to become a part a partner to a pioneer
-
and then now a parent. Why because he went to
-
England to study his final year and then he said,
-
I guess it's me. When Pasta talked about planting a
-
church in London, we don't know who, he said, I
-
think it's me. And one person by himself went to London.
-
We didn't know who was going to be there. And
-
then two musketeers turned up from our church who happened
-
to be studying there and then three of them helped
-
start the church. Amen. But he alone we planned, We
-
always planned a leader, and they will lead the church.
-
We don't plant anybody, just anybody, anyone. I need you
-
first to be a disciple. Amen. So we see that
-
in Lazraus, we see that in Benji. We see that
-
pass Joel in Melbourne. Benji was fourteen years old when
-
I met him in Kotakina Balu playing drums. Young boy.
-
Then years later he came to Kl's family, moved back
-
to pj and there again you know, all come nowhere
-
on fire. Oh, I say, experience the Holy Spirit there
-
on fire. And then leaving his job to say yes
-
to planting in Japan, God put that in his heart.
-
We send our pine, our pioneers, our disciples. We raise
-
the disciples and they plant and then you grow. Pass
-
Joel as well. Planting. We don't just send anybody, not anybody.
-
And we also learn from this when we send anybody
-
in trouble, all right, so we must send disciples. All right.
-
We plant the seed of a good disciple, and in
-
a good soil we get thirty four sixty four, one
-
hundred and four. So what we get when we planted.
-
Is what we get when we plant the disciple or
-
the seed, is that we produce a leader. Okay, we disciple,
-
we send a disciple. Plunder disciple, you groom up a leader. Amen,
-
Praise the Lord. So this is what it is about
-
for us. We really want to raise daniels out of
-
these leaders. Amen. So moving forward, moving on, Yeah, we
-
also raise and release the Daniels into the marketplace. So
-
we are keep being reminded we can have a church,
-
we can have many partners. We serve you, we serve together,
-
we work, we do the work of the Lord. But
-
we're a reminder we're not just about keeping people in
-
the church. When we know something and it's an important message,
-
we want to tell somebody, that's why we need to
-
release them into the marketplace, your marketplace, wherever you are,
-
your school, your office, your neighborhood, or your family, or
-
wherever God has planted you. We release you as daniels
-
into the marketplace. Amen. You know, Daniel had his challenge.
-
Daniel had his mountain when he went to Babylon as
-
a captive and he had to be destined. Yeah, he
-
had his mountain, but he went through that test. If
-
you have a mountain this year, Take it for the Lord.
-
He could be a family members yet to know Christ.
-
Take it for the Lord. Claim that life for Jesus.
-
It could be a difficult boss. You know that's a
-
mount's standing before you. We're talking about different challenges that
-
you might be facing. We don't always understand and know
-
what your challenge is. The Lord knows you can stand
-
on the Lord promises to take that mountain and ask
-
the Lord for his grace? And man, what is that challenge?
-
See God move in your midst. God wants us to
-
focus on growing deep roots to produce good fruit. And
-
how to do that root is always about going deeper
-
the roots. Your faith fruits is going deeper into God's words. Now,
-
God's word is like water. Water washes us and it
-
just cleanses us. Amen. Right, So the more you read
-
of God's word, then there will be washing and cleansing.
-
All right. If we if we you know that church
-
for so long, we can tell you a lot. Why
-
did I start the campaign bring your own Bible, by
-
your own Bible because I want you to read the Bible.
-
Ay Ah, Lord believe us not reading the Bible. And
-
the reason we give iss many reasons. But we have
-
time to scroll. We're reading word. We're reading word. He's
-
like you read by Boll. You asked a lot to
-
help you to read. Only the word of God will
-
give us deep roots. Yeah, so that we can grow
-
tall and be a strong structure. KLCC was not built
-
in one day. I worked in that area. I would
-
walk across chaos see to my office. I don't know
-
how many years IM looking at the hole I left
-
my company. The whole was still there. I mean it
-
was a whole. I couldn't see what was happening inside.
-
It didn't take one day. It took five years or
-
so a froum the time that I started working, and
-
then I left. Still a hole day and I left,
-
and then I came back to care. Oh, structure can
-
sway some more. Okay, you need to go deep church.
-
Ask God to help you to have a hunger and
-
just be able to read the word. God's word is
-
his love letter to us. The word of God is
-
like water. It washes us. I want to say, you
-
know we said earlier, he plans lives to gain lives.
-
It's always about people reaching people. God will not use
-
a donkey to reach you unless you're so stubborn the
-
the donkey has the dog to you. Oh hey, people
-
reach people. God wants to partner, inviting you to partner
-
so that you can work with him. However it is.
-
You know, sister Sharon, she wants to fly here downstairs.
-
You know downstairs fly You don't forget I remember, So
-
we need to give up flyers. Fly here, flyer, flyer.
-
You never know who you catch. You can don't say
-
waste money, you have the fly her. You never catch
-
one person, you might catch two persons. You never know. Right.
-
People reach people, and it's usually by the one or
-
one friendships. God doesn't use an animal, doesn't use a car,
-
doesn't use the cockroach, uses people because you understand people. Amen,
-
He wants to involve us. So remember, yes, last week
-
you had a start button. Please don't stop the button.
-
Leave it on. Leave it on, all right. And why
-
we're going through this or taking us to that unpacking
-
is because for the first ten years God was just
-
building internally, putting the word becoming a storehouse. And now
-
the next ten years or whatever we call the next
-
ten year season is to whatever has been stored is
-
ready to feed. But we also need to be sent
-
up release into the marketplace. Amen. Okay, cool. So the
-
overall picture, people remember there are a lot of lost people.
-
They're not inside the church, they're outside the church. You
-
cannot be here and tell me your loss. If you're lost,
-
you need to engage with Jesus. You need to be discipled.
-
That is the problem with the church today. Many people
-
don't want to be disciple. You cannot be lone rangers.
-
All of us have disciple, one way or another, whether
-
we're accountable to someone, whether we open our hearts to
-
somebody can speak into our lives. And even if the
-
word is hard, sometimes we have to say it. You see,
-
if every time we only say nice things to you,
-
you better watch. You should say why my person never
-
say anything that's true. I should not be lying to you,
-
you know, I should be speaking the truth. But because
-
we're so afraid to offend you, we never say anything.
-
It's okay, thank you, yes, okay, thank you. We can't
-
Sometimes we have to say the truth. It seems hard.
-
But that if you say, but we only do that
-
to disciples, so I can only speak to Herbut this
-
way you should go. You doing when you were when
-
you were your student life. He didn't do anything. He
-
didn't do anything. I know. Now you're married, I said,
-
do friend, we all disciples, we all disciple or disciple.
-
We can only speak to them, and you cannot always
-
take things to be offended. Your whole life will be offended.
-
Disciplesh it, it's so important. This is Jesus' way. He's
-
not can the Jean's way a schoolar complain about ex
-
church always talking about Discipleshi, you go ahead and complain.
-
You're not complaining against us, You're kicking against God. Beware,
-
stop complaining about discipleship. It's not my idea. Do you
-
think I owe so much time to count decide for
-
you or to give up everything. I'll decide for you.
-
But we're willing because we know that it works. Because
-
this Jesus said to us, follow me, follow me, and
-
now we have to imitate Christ. Follow Christ, and you
-
follow me. Right, So we need to make disciples so important.
-
So the overall picture is that we talked yes last week,
-
vision dominion. What is the vision we take dominion? Let
-
the whole earth be filled with the knowledge of the
-
glory of the law. Dominion. Influence. Are you an influence
-
in your marketplace. Are you an influence in your school,
-
in your office, in your neighborhood. How can we be
-
an influence if we haven't been, It's okay, start now.
-
We can start now. Amen. So take dominion. That's the
-
vision where we talk. That's not a big vision. The
-
big vision is take dominion. Feel the earth a man
-
feel the earth by how The mission is to do discipleship.
-
So question is are you disciple? Have you been disciples
-
and who are you discipling? This whole year we were
-
talking about discipleship at least to your other groups and
-
you know, the small groups, And how do we do
-
this discipleship? The direction is to raise the daniels, to
-
raise daniels so that they can be released into the marketplace. Amen. Okay,
-
you know God doesn't want us to be ex church
-
as a brand. Next, like please, God doesn't want us
-
to be an ex church that is like a brand.
-
Oh I'm from ex church. Oh we throw church names,
-
you know, just because I'm from this church. Oh, very great.
-
That should be our last last focus. He wants us
-
to be a lifestyle, a lifestyle of reaching, discipling, raising, releasing,
-
because there are a lot of lost people outside the church.
-
He wants us to live out our ex live out
-
our acts, our action. That will rich pre believers who
-
may not understand what church is. But people understand practical love, peace, care, thanksgiving, friendship, grace, joy.
-
People understand these things. Isn't it We came out with this. This
-
is a picture that passed ahead in his mind and
-
one of our designers came out with this year a
-
few years back. It starts with acts of acts of kindness,
-
ects of love, acts of grace, acts of thankfulness, ects
-
of care, acts of trust, et cetera, et cetera. You
-
see that in your welcome back. If you're a newcomer,
-
before you would have had a bag. What will X
-
church become? What will we be known for? Just the name?
-
Just a church that has see games, sportsman, sportswomen. It's
-
quite a privilege to be able to serve them, to
-
be discipling them. But that's not The focus is in
-
the navy disciples and they will be able to reach others.
-
We need to bear fruit the fruit of Christ. Amen.
-
Pre Believers don't understand church. They've never stepped in the church.
-
They have a picture from the movies they watch so
-
that's that's an idea. They might have a picture of
-
church around the different types of movies that portray Christianity,
-
and it's it's sometimes it's a bit wrongler, Okay, they
-
don't understand. They might have a bad perception by personal
-
experience or just a bad perception. So just for a moment,
-
sometimes just for a moment, let's not talk about the
-
word church. That's for a moment, act focus on the
-
act of love, being reminded love by reminding myself. I
-
think in your workplace, if you saw someone in trouble
-
and you just say, could I pray for you? The
-
act of love I remember should leave. When she was
-
teaching in Malaysia when a student, the teacher died a
-
paston because of COVID, everybody was silent because he was
-
COVID don't tell anybody or died of COVID, and the
-
students wondering what happened to the teacher. Nobody talked, and
-
she was churched to them by not saying, Hey, I'm church.
-
She did like a little site, a website kind of
-
thing and ask people to write words about the remembrance
-
of this teacher, and you know, just say what do
-
you remember to go so and so, you know, And
-
people began to pour in and some were crying and
-
daring just to remember this person. Don't be silent. It
-
helped people process their feelings. What's going on? What happened
-
to the teacher? People were silent. We were so afraid
-
in COVID time, we didn't We all thought we would die. Right, well,
-
I'm a life still. At that time, all of us
-
were highly loered. Oh don't meet other people who don't
-
go out of the house, we might die, okay, and
-
so we don't even talk. And the students were suffering.
-
What was happening? What was that act? It was an
-
act of care in kindness to just remember. And then
-
I think you bought something as a collection. Yeah. Yeah,
-
every time something happens, we get the people. Let's let's
-
raise some funds for the knee. And they raise it
-
and they brought a hamper or the gift for the family.
-
There was a life still. I'm sure he had a
-
wife and some money and just to encourage because people
-
are alone, right, So that's what she did. Where was
-
she to them? She was she was Christ to them
-
just so they won't see church. But they saw love
-
in action. What can you do? Too many times we're
-
so slow or we're just too involved in ourselves. We
-
want to be that picture right and got once the
-
Daniels right to move out into the marketplace and start
-
connecting with the world. And the question is to connect,
-
to connect, is to make sense even before we make disciples,
-
because people don't know church. I did Church Christianity. Don't
-
think that everybody knows who Jesus. What the name Jesus,
-
Coca Cola? They know in the desert, they know Coca Cola.
-
Jesus said, don't know those those watch all movie called
-
the Gods must be crazy many years ago, and aeroplane
-
flew and threw a Coca Cola bottle in the desert
-
of Kalahari in Botswana, and they picked up Coca cola.
-
Jesus don't know. So, you know, we need to make
-
him known. So, but how we need to make sense
-
to people. Don't straight away say I want to make
-
disciple of you that you're calling I'm gonna disciple you. No,
-
it's not that way, right. We got to make sense
-
meaning what is their need? What are they going to
-
be a friend? Be the hand to them, make a
-
first connection, and as you begin to make sense in time,
-
in fact, you will be making disciples. You will be
-
because they're watching you, experiencing you, and then they want
-
what you have, and then they ask you what's this difference? Right?
-
It's very important? So what kind of sense am I
-
going to make this week? Example? Are you punctual at work?
-
Do you finish all your work projects? Do you finish
-
or your assignment? And you do group work? Now? Do
-
you have an excellent spirit? Are you kind and love
-
your patient? If we fail at different points, but we
-
can pick ourselves up again and learn again. If we
-
fail some days because we are weak, but God is strong,
-
he will help us. How can we make sense to people?
-
And nobody will reject your kindness? Nobody will reject your prayer,
-
especially in a time of need. Amen? Amen, I told
-
the first of these. I really I have to tell
-
you because I don't hope that any of you are
-
like Lieza. Somebody you know said there came from x
-
KL and went to ex London. Some thirty year old
-
person don't know I want to work there or something.
-
So we're welcome, law they welcome you know. Our church
-
is full of students and young adults. We don't know
-
this person, thank god, because if I know, I will
-
hunt that person down. So they came and then so
-
we make me very welcome. Then so the students always
-
go for lunch on Sunday, So they went for lunch.
-
But this person has health issues, not a problem like
-
all of us. We go to McDonald's. What do we say,
-
please leave the pickles out, leave the mayor out or
-
something like that. It's okay, right, got right? Sure, you
-
say that, it's okay, yeah, and then you pay the
-
bill and you go this person when it came to
-
pay the bill, why you judge me full bill? H
-
what you ordered? But no, but I don't want the sauce.
-
I'm not paying for the sauce. I'm not paying for
-
the ketchup. And then the person like, no, but you
-
ordered the thing, and I did what you want, but
-
it comes as a package. I'm sure you all know this.
-
This person argued and argued on that same table on
-
that very Sunday. Our church member's elder brother was not
-
a believer, decided to come to church that day and
-
he experienced this, and he went, is this how Christians behaved?
-
Not coming back to church. I mean he doesn't have
-
to make decisions like that. But that was his first experience.
-
He enjoyed our church and enjoyed the service. He loved
-
the warm and but that he paent for lunch and
-
this in the same group, and he thought, this is
-
how your behave. I don't want to have a part
-
of it. Students say I pay, I pay. You know
-
that the person running and say, no, I don't want
-
your money. Just just go, And they wouldn't. They wouldn't
-
receive our team in for months past. He saying, this
-
is your church before behavior that. Please don't come how
-
people reading you? So I told the morning morning service,
-
I hope y'all not like that. Now calculate, calculate gait
-
yet some long something go wrong and calculate how can
-
like that? Don't mean like that. Don't get rich on
-
a few cents because it's just terrible. Can you imagine
-
God calculate with you, Steven. You can't imagine go asking
-
you that day the fight sans where you like said, yeah,
-
you pay your fightcens right, giggle something yo. Then you
-
calculate like that, you know that's what that person did.
-
I don't know what the background is the cold people,
-
because the charge you for the sauce. I delive if
-
I were there, I really what the come on? Because
-
but I have seen people like that haggling over brace
-
lay please lave just you got money? Just paying? What
-
will bless you back? One? I don't need to calculate
-
and later then Jesus loves you to look at you.
-
Jesus love me. Don't come to my shower. Yeah, for
-
weeks they could not go. RELISSI please don't come to
-
our shop. You are like that. We lost one soul.
-
You know all this woman's behavior. I tell you, Auntie, y'all,
-
don't do this. Calculates go people yours? I scared? I
-
get I get it. Slept me. Okay, you a mission?
-
Wake wake up? What are people sensing about you? Are
-
you a complainer? Are you calculated? Every day? Oh my god?
-
Stay tomorrow? Can make back the money man? Seriously, you
-
get rich on this few cents. The rich will always
-
get richer and the poor will always be wor because
-
we're always giving. No, you'll be rich in your generosity,
-
acts of generosity, kindness of words. Calculate every cent. I
-
cannot live like that. I cannot live like that, are you?
-
I see people anti antiola. I don't know what to do. No,
-
I stand there and ask me. I don't know how
-
much for tier run away? I don't know. I cannot
-
because that person is making a living, he has a
-
family to feed. Is he cheating me? He is cheating me.
-
I don't buy la no need to him? On and
-
on and need all right? I hello, helloall in Thailand?
-
Can you go with them every time? The auntie uncle?
-
How much neat? All? Right? After Auntie dinking? It's only ten?
-
But how much low am I gonna fit? You would after? Or? Please?
-
Thank you Jesus? Hey, you don't use Jesus name way
-
way which one comes first? I so don't know. Ah, pracha,
-
God bless you. If we're not thinking what God you're serving? Oh? Please? People?
-
All right? What is people said thing about you? Be
-
very careful. I also have to remember this, what do
-
people seeing me? You know? What do they think about me?
-
And a smiling person? Always my long face? Every day? Emo? Hey,
-
get that bad world the emo out of your spirit.
-
Man that listen, unclean spirit. Stop being emo. It's the
-
worst thing people can experience of you. Enough are you?
-
The world is dying. What are you and I doing?
-
We are emoing, emoing, We're not making sense to people.
-
We're giving problem to people. Come on, the Lord say
-
I come to give you life, and lie more abundantly.
-
A man hahman allehah. So Church, it's just you have
-
no time to waste time to you know, we're not here,
-
a babysit. You were here. The raised up soldiers for Jesus. Amen,
-
serve the Lord. Serve the Lord. That's all we're gonna
-
say today. Okay, reviewing some numbers, the Lord answered me
-
and said, write the vision. Make it plain on tablets,
-
then that he may run who reads it? Okay. This
-
is from Haberka chapter two, verse two, So this was
-
the Lord spoke to us as well. Past Lord said
-
write the vision. So we caught the vision. Fill the
-
earth with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.
-
Make it plain. Okay, so we got it on recorded.
-
I'm bridging it here. We got a booklet for you,
-
all right, Then make it plain on tablet, tablot, tablot, tablet,
-
tribleot tribloot, all right, that he may run, who reads it,
-
who watches it, who hears it, So that we can
-
run with the vision. We don't want you to just
-
know the vision, but run with the vision. Would you
-
run with us church? Ten the focus for the next
-
ten years, between twenty twenty to twenty thirty. So the
-
first ten years we before a lot of you join
-
our church because ex got the commonings only three years old.
-
From twenty from year two thousand when we planted to
-
twenty twenty, those first twenty years or so, we were
-
really building internal, growing, growing, putting deep roots. Now the
-
next ten years we want to get ready to go
-
out right. We call it the Daniel. The Daniel chapter
-
of our lives all right now in between that, in
-
twenty fifteen, the Lord revealed the Buster from the story
-
of Hezekiah the Book of Kings, and the word that
-
you will read about Hezekiah is that the Lord said
-
to him, get your house in order, because things were
-
not happening right in his family. The Lord said, get
-
your house in order. So from twenty fifteen to twenty thirteen,
-
we started twenty fifteen, we were trying to get the
-
house in order, put things in order, get our lives right,
-
you know, do things that will please the Lord. If
-
God was moving things, okay, we let the Lord, move
-
you whatever God wanted to do with us, clean the
-
house up. Then from twenty eighteen we had another a word,
-
which was from the book of Nihimaya, to rebuild. So
-
we started rebuilding the walls and the gates. Now rebuilding
-
the walls last week is one to rebuild your identity.
-
We need to know who we are and what we do,
-
and then rebuild the gates. We need to rebuild our authority.
-
Gates represents a authority. Why authority is important for us
-
as we move out this in the next few years,
-
is that the authority, when you pray in the name
-
of Jesus, expect them supernatural to happen, that people be healed,
-
that unclean spirits be come out of people, that those
-
who are down will be lifted up. That as you
-
pray in the authority of Jesus, name those that is
-
your faith in the Lord to see God move in
-
our wits. But you need to rebuild that authority. Sometimes
-
we forgot whose child we are. We may forget what
-
we are called to do, we may forget all things.
-
But the Lord wants to rebuild us. So twenty eighteen
-
we took that that rebuilding. So we're still in that
-
journey because the hazard Kiawan is fifteen years and the
-
Nihimaya took twelve years, so all of it is headed
-
to twenty thirty. So we are now saying for us
-
from twenty twenty twenty thirty, ten years is our focus,
-
all right. So in the Daniel he said to them
-
in Daniel chapter one, test us for ten days. So
-
I'm only recapping her to ten days? Am I recapping? This?
-
Is not okay? New one ready? So tests us for
-
ten days with vegetables and water. Why because they were
-
going to eat the very very fantastic food from the
-
king's table, but the daha lala da hall da hallal,
-
so they cannot eat all this food all right, So
-
they said, why don't we don't think certain types of food.
-
But they say, okay, test us for ten days. So
-
the vision that passed the interpretation was that ten days
-
was to ten years. That we have ten years to prepare,
-
to prepare ten days for ex church implies ten years
-
to set a house in order to rebuild our identity
-
and our gates, our authority. We are what we are?
-
What do we do? God doesn't want to just test us,
-
but also to strengthen us and ready us. A man
-
to ready us ten years down to twenty thirty. I
-
remember it for shed. People say so after twenty thirty,
-
what happened and Jesus come back radio. No, we stand out.
-
We are ready, meaning we are doing equipping now, putting
-
our house in order, now, building our identity, getting ready, prepare,
-
and then there will be a going out release into
-
the marketplace. So this is the thing it is to
-
strengthen us. We may be to test us because after
-
the tests of eating reggia and water, they were more
-
plump and more stronger. They didn't look weak because they
-
didn't eat chicken or not chicken. Bob Okay, okay, God's diet.
-
It's the only way to go, all right. God's way
-
is the only way, all right, And we will be
-
found to be strong ready for greater things hit. So
-
we move on to this world. Or this number called
-
one thousand, one thousand times one thousand, what is this
-
all about? Don't panic? Okay? Long time agoing Beadlehem ex
-
Church in twenty ten wanted to buy a building because
-
we were growing very very quickly, rapidly. We were using
-
Sunway Pyramid convention Center, were one of the first churches
-
to take the Convention Center every Sunday, taking two halls
-
and there we said we need a building, so we
-
went to buy a building. The whole church raised the funds,
-
many of our longtime partners here. We raised the money.
-
It was really impossible because we were mainly students and
-
some young working adults. We raised the money, but obviously
-
we cannot meet the sale of the building price was
-
fourteen million. We raised the depot sit how he couldn't
-
get the full amount, so we asked for time and
-
then we had to pay interests. We finally found someone
-
who would loaness the money, but in the end said no,
-
I'll buy it for you fourteen million. So we had
-
fourteen million to give to the owner. And the owner
-
were people that I used to work for in my
-
contacts of my work, but the father had passed on.
-
So I just really I went all the way back
-
to my bosses to ask them, make the connection, to
-
ask them, please please sell us this place. They refuse.
-
In fact, they put up the price of sixteen million.
-
It's been three d right, because I was going to
-
give fourteen million it's here. But when they saw who
-
the donor was or the supporter. They would raise the price.
-
So we lost the building. One day we were saying, yeah, hallelujah.
-
I remember that moment, everybody dearing. We got the fourteen million.
-
Next day we were crying because we lost everything. I think,
-
my husband, just what do I do? You know? Give up,
-
give up, don't be busted. Just washed floor, and they
-
pay by everybody's pay back. You know how so many
-
people gave up their first car money, their honeymoon money,
-
they're wedding money, they sold their car, they sold this.
-
They put in money. But not one of our partners
-
ever complained or how we went together. We were not
-
so big a church, yet we were growing. Students gave money,
-
mothers gave money, couples gave money. We all gave, were
-
all put in. We lost it. God said, don't build
-
me a cathedral, but spread out. What a disappointment became
-
an appointment for us one church, one speaker. Today we
-
have churches across the globe and many many speakers, all
-
growing and developing their gifting. So God said, spread out.
-
He's saying, if Kennachin, an ordering man, can be used
-
by God to build a thousand people, he can do
-
it again with every person he brings to X And
-
you have seen this through all the other church plants
-
in Kal. You've seen this in the global church. Kenachin
-
is not there, but our disciples are there and they
-
are building, building and riching. What was a disappointment became
-
an appointment. Hence the word one thousand times one thousand.
-
What does it mean? We have one thousand people. We
-
wanted to help each one believe. We dream that God
-
will use every person in acts. God can do this
-
again and again. He used Kenneth, but he Kenneth's not
-
a special person. He was just available. He was just obedient.
-
Any of us will be just available and obedient. Allow
-
God to use you as you partner with him. You
-
can't do what God wants us to do. Amen. Have
-
you ever experienced a challenging time in your life? What
-
seemed to be a disappointment initially only to see how
-
God turned it around for the better heart check question
-
for you. Think about it. Have you ever experienced it?
-
We have? We really did, and God turned it around
-
for us. Amen, and that's why we have excota gammoning
-
and we are now family. I didn't know you Nis
-
Tang three years before. But you know Rogers, although Rogers
-
might have known us when he was only ten, he
-
received Christ and or thirteen went past to preach a message.
-
My husband isn't doing youth ministry for a long time.
-
But it's just not cana Chin alone. Any one of
-
us here can continue to do this work. Hence the
-
one thousand God gave us one thousand. Even currently we
-
have we have on paper ler thousand and five, but
-
we take a very small what you call it here?
-
What's the accounting for word for it? You told me
-
just what conservative figure A thousand, one thousand partners. But
-
the one thousand partners cannot just remain as they are.
-
They have to be made two disciples, and then leaders
-
and finally daniels. Daniels that will go to the marketplace,
-
send out to fill the earth with the knowledge of
-
the glory of the lot. Amen. One thousand partners who
-
can become disciples, who can then become leaders, leaders will
-
make more disciples. It's not our formula. This is formula
-
found in the Bible. So that's why I say a
-
lot of people never read their Bible. So whenever we
-
preach about discipleship, you almost show daggers at us. What
-
is this post bridging. He's in the Bible, Go and
-
make disciples follow me, pass down to faithful men and
-
to others cell discipleship. Okay, so we already have one thousand.
-
They had to make another thousand. God will do the
-
miraculous with the other one thousand. So we have to
-
accountable for the one thousand we have. There we one
-
at times one thousand, meaning every one of us reach
-
one person, we will have one thousand, one thousand times
-
one thousand of new disciples who will become new pioneers,
-
who are leaders. Amen. And and so what we do
-
is we need to focus on taking care of the
-
one thousand that we already have, and we believe that
-
God will bring the miraculous next one thousand. Amen. Can
-
not we It's it's challenging, it's it's impossible in the
-
human strength. But actually, if you reach one person in
-
one year and every year we reach it can be
-
a goal. And a prayer doesn't mean basically, don't get
-
hung out one are you? I have to reach one?
-
Are you? Maybe got U five? Le don't get hung
-
out with the number. The whole point that you focus
-
on is riching whoever God brings to you or puts
-
on your heart. Amen. So we want to be taking
-
care of what we have. What he wants to do
-
is don't get hung up about the equation and the numbers.
-
But the spirit of one thousand times one thousand is
-
to keep going. That's the next The next line yet
-
you fill up, is to keep going. Yeah, or before that,
-
the bottom line is the bottom line of disciple. She
-
used to follow me as I follow Christ? You got that?
-
What it be right? Follow me as I follow Christ.
-
We cannot be your shame to say follow me. You
-
needs follow me as I follow Christ? You needs my
-
look at you, go, lie, I can't see imperfection in you. Yeah,
-
but I'm also a working progress But I am following
-
Christ and I want to do what he does. Follow
-
me as I follow Christ, and we change, we continue
-
to transform. So that's bottom line. Yeah, And then he
-
says follow me, So see, don't worry about the extra
-
one thousand that's going to come. You focus by keep going,
-
keep going, keep going. Yeah. Next like yeah, keep going,
-
keep making disciples, keep planting churches, keep producing leaders, keep
-
raising daniels. It takes time. It takes time. But together
-
we can do this. Amen. God is just you know,
-
He's the one who will take care of the supernatural.
-
We must at least say yes to him. Daniel one
-
twenty says Daniel was found to be ten times better
-
than the rest, ten times better. So we want to
-
take this promise that this ten years we're going to
-
do as best as God has for us. Now a man,
-
so you look at this picture here for us being
-
at about one thousand now now one thousand times ten
-
years is equal to ten thousand in ten years. I
-
can't see a glimpse away like Hardler. So we ninety
-
percent new believers because we are the one thousand, ten
-
thousand minus one thousand is nine thousand. We are believing
-
God for nine thousand new believers. We're not focused on
-
church transfers. The laws are outside. Please don't evangelize your
-
friend from another church. Okay, don't do that. The parson
-
can't catch me. Okay, don't do that. Your friend other
-
church already saved. Go to the people who have yet
-
to know Christ. As I always say, sometimes the church
-
got it wrong. Why are you always fishing in other
-
people's garden, which is the church? All the outside church
-
transfers got more problem with the you. But I've God
-
transfer you to this church. I will take care of you.
-
As a purpose. We all look for those who have
-
yet to know Christ. And let's your family members, our neighbors,
-
are friends. I also scre loer how to share God's pool.
-
But we just said right, let's not start with the
-
picture of church in mind. Let's start with the act
-
of kindness, act of love, things that we can do
-
that relate to people. Let them then ask you, why
-
are you doing this? Why are you so kind? Why
-
are you so caring? Why you so friendly? Okay, the
-
ninety percent of new believers is what we're looking for.
-
It looks like an impossible figure. But we're gonna trust
-
God that we say yes, he will give that to us.
-
So if we plan a disciple, we're going to produce
-
a leader. Just keep tell ourselves plan the disciple, produce
-
a leader. So we just gotta keep doing that. Yeah,
-
but it's best to fish where people haven't fish before.
-
Don't fish in other people's God didn't soon our fish
-
and ready fishmen not yet fish. Okay. Yeah, to ask
-
you bring your friend to Christmas, I'm bringing my friend
-
he's from that church next door. Don't just next don't
-
got program he said, Oh no, no, they don't have programs. Okay,
-
no fish where the person hasn't had a chance to
-
hear the good news. Okay, some people have never heard
-
the good news Jesus one time, but most of us
-
get more than one time. But you know, we're still
-
struggling to follow Christ. So friends, focus for the year,
-
the new year that's coming up. Let's take stock. Let's
-
take account of all that God has given us and
-
do our best to draw out their best. Okay, focus
-
for the year. Take stock, or take account of all
-
that can already has given us and draw out their best.
-
How many accountants in the room finance people must take stock? Right?
-
Five four? Life? Which one first in first out last
-
invers out right? We have to take stock? Take stock.
-
The worst thing to do in accounting is this takes stock.
-
You cannot find this book solo or LOSSU take stock? Amen?
-
What has God given to us? Why has He given
-
it to us? What am I going to do help
-
us to help them be the best that they can? Amen?
-
Who who has God given to us in our church?
-
Who has God given to you in your workplace. Why
-
do you think He has given us this person? What
-
is the best we or you can do to bring
-
out the best in him or them? Why do you
-
think God has given us this person? And what the
-
best that we can do for that person? Takes time? Church?
-
God is calling us to partner with him. The whole
-
year we've been talking about disciple first, introducing to us
-
about discipleship. And I'm sure your home leaders have been
-
asking you are you in a discipleship relationship? Some people say,
-
wait loud, wait ten years old, they still no one disciple?
-
Are one discipleship? You know you don't want to be
-
disciples It's not my problem. You are fighting against God
-
because it's God's idea. So don't be so stubborn. Some
-
mean to Jesus and be discipled. I have a discipleship relationship.
-
It starts with connecting and building Relationshipmen. God will not
-
give us more if we have not been faithful with
-
what He had already given to us. So we have
-
one thousand. We need to be faithful to find out
-
what can I bring out the best in you. I'm
-
so blessed to see some of you serving Katrina. I
-
have not seen you place. So I know it's played
-
for homes for us those days. But you're in church today,
-
thank you. Yeah. Others are serving different parts, different things
-
using your talent. What is it that you have? Our
-
express So while I was away, the sending forhotose to
-
be torturing me. You know, look at our beautiful food,
-
look at our decoration, gipsy are I was having fish
-
and chips here? Oh what talent do we have? Use it?
-
So this morning here, if you have a talent, use
-
it for the Lord. Use all your talents. Don't hide
-
someone under your chair or dig a hole and throw
-
it inside there. God, do you want to use my talent?
-
Don't because if you throw your talent and hide it, God,
-
we'll think it away there gonna te learn how Elder
-
Shirley's mother chi how I used to do this approciate
-
with her when she first came to Jesus. And she'll
-
tell me, no tlen, no talent. I cannot do anything.
-
I can't do anything. She's leading our ex kids in
-
extra us now ex kids, yes, yeah, from I don't
-
know what to do. I don't know how to know
-
to make sandwich me. She don't know how to make sandwich.
-
She just don't want to cook. So the daughters who
-
cannot cook these days, our girls all cannot cook. Oh
-
my hunther, one man can cook very well. You can
-
go on, Vincent can go whatever. She'll say, I cannot
-
allah you teach me how to make sandwich? Okay, I
-
did you how to make this? How you mean? But
-
someone will say I can't. She stepped up to it
-
over the years from mere excus teacher helping her pay
-
her being. I heard these days she hates up ex
-
kids in excuris. Oh my word, she is sixty overcoming
-
the seventy, all right, and she she is an ex
-
kids teacher. I'm really proud of her. So you use
-
your talent. Okay, you got five talent, please use all.
-
After you use all, God will grow some more. Hey,
-
when you got Telenner, you never free already. God will
-
keep giving you adding. Remember he took the fellow with
-
the five talent. He got more the one way, the
-
two he got more, the one way I wanted buried in.
-
He was taking away. So one day you say you
-
can go very well, but you do want to serve
-
EXPRESSOA next day you find out you can a cooler
-
I four go out to cool Ah, you can go away.
-
Don't use your talent, not just for ourselves, not to
-
do this. So then again, now we're not a branding
-
bill or I from X church. I'm not. I'm very
-
proud of the fact that we have this church. But
-
thank God that He allowed me to serve here and
-
be able to surf you here by a lifestyle, the
-
X Book of X Holy Spirit working to us, turning
-
our lives around, transforming our lives, learning to be better parents,
-
learning to be a better husband, a better wife, the
-
best that we can be, a better sister, a brother,
-
a daughter, a son, a friend, a church member, grandfather, whatever,
-
Being better by applying the principles where we go deep
-
into God's word, being obedient to his word. All of
-
this is a package of what I have to be
-
accountable for. This package. So when we speak to you
-
and direct you and share with you what are some
-
steps you need to take, it's not being harsh. It's
-
telling you the truth. If you want to grow, you
-
need to anchor into a homes all of you going
-
to home. So nor someone told me this morning pasta
-
you very go wrong. Only when I'm in this position
-
after you're out there. I'm mild. Are you joining ames
-
if you want to participate in the things of the church,
-
be part of our homes and be regular. Don't be
-
irregular right now, I must be regular. I know why
-
it is a poor home leader alone, no waiting for you.
-
Then you never come? Why you never come? Yeah? Why
-
you never come? Right? Come on? Discipleship, That's how it begins,
-
from your homes, working with people you know, growing together,
-
and they're having your discipleship relationship. Want to learn more? Okay,
-
so quickly, quickly must end already do the possible. Let
-
God do the impossible. Amen, do what you can do. Okay,
-
if you can be a smiling person, you do that,
-
God will do the impossible for you. He will double it.
-
So Chai, how could only do nothing? She said? But
-
then later we said you can do this today it's impossible.
-
Imagine I see her say, you cannot do anything. How
-
come now you leading ex kids because God did impossible
-
for child. Okay, moving on, Let's start with the first
-
one thousand. Okay, this is like a tithe to the Lord.
-
Ten percent of ten thousand gous the ten verse ten thousand.
-
So we have one thousand people. You and I are
-
part of that one thousand. Let us offer ourselves to
-
the Lord as a tithe tie it to the Lord.
-
I belong to you lot, we are yours, Use me
-
lot ten percent the nine thousand God will bring. Who
-
are the souls out there that He wants us to reach.
-
Let's maximize the one thousand before the times the extra
-
one thousand comes. Okay, don't ask for more if we
-
haven't done.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
