Message For Acts Klang | Dr. Jill

You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

We hope this message will light up your day. So

he says. Ex Clang has been through a number of

challenging transitions the past few years, especially among your leadership

right and those of you who have been around you know,

but you have responded well, says God, starting with your

CPC Jason Martin. You desire to do what's right and

to be faithful even when many of you are stretched

with work and family. God sees, God knows, and God

is well pleased with you. Ex Clang. However, he says,

don't stop there. There is a restlessness within your hearts

to not settle for the Monday or the current status call.

God wants to lead you to your next breakthrough explain.

And so that's what I sense from God at this

season that yes, you've come true a lot, and you've

responded well, and you're in a good place right now. Okay,

your ex Clang is in a good place right now.

But God says, don't stay where you are at because

He's got more for you. Amen. And so today that's

what I'm going to share on three points on how

God is going to lead you into that next step

of breakthrough. And God's breakthrough is always a double aged sword.

Any of you you have done I don't know fencing before.

You know what. Fencing is not built fencer, it's a sport. Okay,

you have a very sharp sword that can ban one fencing.

Anyone has done fencing here? No? Okay? All right? Oh

do you know Daniel Lee, our brother from ex Ambang

who is on the wheelchair, He is now actually taking

up fencing. He's becoming a national Paralympic fencer. Yeah, Daniel

ly amazing. So he's the only person I know who

does fencing. Luck. Yeah. So God's breakthrough for us is

always a double aged sword. So you know, a good

sword has two ages, and so his breakthrough is definitely

for his church, but it will also spill over even

into your personal lives as well. So I believe God

really wants to bring ex Clang not just as a

church into your next level or breakthrough, but even your

own families. And I know x Clang is a very

family church here. I see a lot of families. Yeah.

I was just saying hi to Reuben. I thought you're

near one kid, because we did the antenatal class together.

He says, Oh, actually, I have a second kid already.

So yeah, it's a growing family church, right, and God

wants to give your family breakthroughs as well, and not

just the larger family of X. Okay. So honestly, I

don't have a fancy title for the message today, but

the three points from God are all in els. Okay,

So God's else that will lead you to that next breakthrough. Okay.

So I'm gonna start with the first L and let's

turn to Second Chronicles, so I'll get activities helped to

put up the scripture. Second Chronicles chapter twenty. Today we're

going to do blended Bible study. Yeah, we're gonna read

from the Old Testament. We're also going to read from

the New Testament. So let's turn to Second Chronicles chapter twenty.

If you have your physical Bibles, encourage you to turn

to it and read from it. Okay, are we at

Second Chronicles Chapter twenty. Yeah, Okay, let's run our fingers

down all the way to verse twenty nine, Second Chronicles twenty,

Verse twenty nine, Second Chronicles, Chapter twenty, Chapter twenty, Second Chronicles,

Chapter twenty. Okay, so we read from our bibles. Verse

verse twenty nine Okay, I'm going to read for us.

I'm reading from the ESV version. And the fear of

God came on all the kingdoms of the countries when

they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies

of Israel verse thirty So the real of Jehoshaffat was

quiet for God, his God gave him rest all around

verse thirty one. Thus Jehoshahfad reigned over Judah. He was

thirty five years old when he began to reign, and

he reigned twenty five years in Jerusalem. His mother's name

was Azuba, the daughter of Shildhi verse thirty two. He

walked in the way of Asa, his father, and did

not turn aside from it, doing what was right in

the sight of the Lord verse thirty three. The high places, however,

were not taken away. The people had not yet set

their hearts upon the God of their fathers. Okay, we'll

stop here, Thank you, thank you so much. Okay, so

we got that as we read it. Yeah, how many

of us here we are familiar with King Jehosha Fad

from the Bible. We know, we've heard of his name,

we know of his story. Just raise your hands. Yeah, Okay,

some okay, okay, all right? Is it a famous Bible character?

Not really, right, not as famous as King David La

Paul La all right, okay, but he is a real

guy who lived many years ago, King Jehoshah Fad And

actually funny thing so Jason, Jess and I we knew

each other since our teenage years. Ah. We were actually

from the same home church back in JB. Calvary Charismatic

Center cee ceec ah And and remember not we actually

did a musical, a public musical on Jehoshah Fad. Can

I remember it was so traumatic for Jason to remember. Yeah,

I think so. I think so so in our teenageers,

you know, churches normally, some churches will do public musicals

and what are the common typical public musicals that we

do Easter, Christmas, what else? But our church back then

decided to do a public production on King jehoshaa woa

or what to what to market and invite people so

that time don't know how to pronounce sound like bad word?

J oh wow. I remember, so I got involved. I

don't know whether Jason and Jes you got involved, but

I remember we did it. Like as a church, we

did it in a public hall. We invited the public

to come. And that was my first exposure to King Jehoshaad.

So I will forever remember his story. So just to

summarize very quickly, so King Jehosha Fad was actually a

good King of Judah. So, okay, who here knows King David? Okay,

Moss know, right, So King David was king over Judah, right.

And yes, although King David was a good king, but

he also made mistakes in his life. And God, although

he's a loving god, you know he will allow consequences

for our sin. Right. So after King David died, the

king his kingdom was divided into two. One son led

one kingdom, the Kingdom of Israel. The other son led

the Kingdom of Judah. So after King David, his family

split up into two divided kingdoms. And so King Jehosha

Fad was part of the lineage that let the Judah side. Okay,

and both sides right. The kings. If you read the

books of First King, Second King's first Chronicles, Second Chronicles,

you have a mixture of kings. You got good kings

that follow God's ways. You also got very bad kings

who totally went the other side against God. Now, King

Jehoshavad was on the Judah side, and he was considered

a good king, considered a good king. He also had

his fashion of mistakes, but we're not going to focus

on that today. What I want to focus is that

here we let's look at second Chronicles again verse thirty

two and thirty three. Yep. So the word of God

says he walked in the way of Asa his father

and did not turn aside from it. Asa was also

a good king, yeah, doing what was right in the

side of of the Lord. But verse thirty three there

is a butt. The high places, however, were not taken away.

The people had not yet set their hearts upon the

God of their fathers. So although King Jehoshaad was a

good king and God actually saved the nation of Judah

from being attacked by their enemies, even as he led

the nation to pray and to praise, there was a

butt in his life. There was an except in his

life which he didn't get the people of Judah to

take away the high places from their lives. What is

the symbolism of high places? Now, high places in those

days are places that are really on high places like

heels and rock clefts where the people used to worship

foreign gods. So high places are basically places of worship

for other gods. God commanded his people to worship him

in his temple, in his temple, but then all the

other gods are worshiped on the high places. So in

this it's like, imagine if we are married and yet

our ex girlfriend and boyfriend is still staying in the

same house. That's that's really like an analogy. So God

had called the children of you know, Israel, Judah too,

to be married to him, to worship him only and

not other gods. And they did that. They worship God,

but they didn't get rid of the high places. They

didn't get rid of the ex boyfriend, the ex girlfriend,

and they're still living under the same roof and g

can you imagine that? Can I imagine? I also can't

imagine or don't go there? Okay, okay, Oh yeah, so

that's that's how through it is basically. Okay, So there

were there were accepts, Yeah, there were. Actually, he had

the power to command all of Judah. Hey, come on,

let's get rid of the high places, because now we

worship this one true and living God. Yeah, but he

didn't have to say there wasn't discipleship, so joho. If

you read few chapters earlier, King Jehoshavat himself remove high places,

but probably that was around his area. He himself removed

high places, but looks like there wasn't strong discipleship going on.

Although King Jehoshavad removed his high places, the people of

Judah didn't follow suit. They still kept their high places.

So here we see the importance of discipleship. Are we

following you know, the disciple of God in our lives.

If that disciplo is removing his or her high place,

we're also removing our high places as well. High places

symbolizes the accepts in our lives. Like God, you can

touch everything in my life except for this one. This one,

this one. God just just let me have this Canna,

not God. All of us have our accepts. As I'm

preaching here, I'm also preaching to myself. This was not

an easy message to prepare because I had to allow

God to also check my heart a jail. What are

your accepts? And right now as I'm standing here, you

know I do like have some Okay, the area or

it's very very close to me, very sensitive, very hard

to let go of God. I also have my challenging

like accepts. Okay, so it's real. Okay, we all go

through it. But I'm here to share that God really

wants to touch our accepts. And that's the first L

that I want to show you. Okay, let's show the

first L. The first L is let's read together one

two tree, let God touch. Sorry it sounds very manglish,

but it's just really that's what God is saying. Where

we let God touch the accepts in our lives. The

accepts could be our isaacs, what are precious to us,

things that we have worked and waited so long for.

It could also be our fears, so it could be

both ways. But all of us, I believe, have our accepts,

so you know what they are. I'm not gonna list

them down. And question is where we let God touch

our accepts?

Yeah?

And I just want to at this point share just

a true story with which I think has already been

shared here in ex clang. So last Sunday you heard

your room share his testimony share share right, Yeah, and

then also Jazz also shared. So we had our missions conference,

like two weeks ago, two weeks ago Missions conference. And

so Jason, Jazz, myself, my husband, we're all good friends.

We are neighbors. We literally can hang out at the

park in the evenings together with our annas. And we're

also serving together as part of the ex Young Family

as well. And so we know that leading up to

the Missions conference, Jason and Jazz and family weren't able

to make it because I think Jason was planning to

go for a marathon run in Bali that was before

you know, the days for Missions conference came out, that

was already planned way in advance. Yeah. And then also

it was meant to be a family trip as well. Yeah,

So so there was like something precious to the Martins.

You know, wow, achievement marathon. How many of us here

have run a marathon? Right? That is a big achievement, right.

And then to go for a family trip that is

close to my heart. I'm big on family trips, you know. Yeah,

it's a time of just you know, focusing on each other,

bonding and all. So that was precious to them. But

leading up to the conference, just different things happened in

their lives and overall they didn't feel the peace to

go hit with the trip to Bali. And finally they

made a conscious choice to stay back and fully participate

and give them all admissions conference and lo and behold.

I think none of us expected that God really had

a special word and work for Jerome. So those of

us who were there the final day, you know, Jerome

responded to the call for missions and Passssandra release a word,

a prophetic word for Jerome. And I was standing right

at the back beyond hundreds of people, and I was

tearing at the back because I'm like, God, this is

why you called them to stay back and more and

you know, and I'm just sharing this story again because

I'm showing you that your CPC and his family had

their accepts. Hey, my personal achievement, my family time, you know, legit.

But they chose to let God touch their accepts. It

was tough, It was tough. It cost them money burn,

but they'd rather than money burn for a greater fire

of God to burn in their son's life. Amen. Amen,

And so Jason and Jess allowed God to touch their accepts.

They represent the King Jehosha Fah of ex Clang. They

are your leaders, King Jehoshavad remove his high places. He

let God touch his accepts. Now, question is will the

rest of Judah, will the rest of ex Klang allow

God to touch your accepts as well? Please do not

repeat the story of Jehoshavat and Judah. The leader did

the right thing, but the people didn't follow because maybe

there was lack of discipleship. But even as we are

growing in discipleship this year, ex clang, why don't you

also follow suit after the example of your leaders, your disciples,

how they let God touch their difficult and precious accepts,

You too can let God touch your accepts. Amen. Amen,

But we need the grace of the Holy Spirit. But

I'm here to say, right along, followed along this journey

where your leaders are going, your disciples are going. Don't

go a different path like the people of Judah. Okay,

So that's one. Okay, The next el that I want

to share with us, we're going to cross over now

to the New Testament. Let's turn to the Book of John.

The Book of John, chapter twenty one. Okay, we're gonna

read from verse one to verse eight verse Are we

there yet? John? Yep? Okay, cool, John twenty one, verse

one to verse eight. Here we go. After this, Jesus

revealed himself again to the disciples by the sea of Tiberius.

And he revealed himself in this way. Verse two. Simon

Peter Thomas called the twin Nathaniel of Cana in Galilee.

The sons of Zebadee and two other of his disciples

were together. Verse three. Simon Peter said to them, I'm

going fishing. They said to him, we will go with you.

They went out and got into the boat. But that

night they caught nothing. Verse four. Just as day was breaking,

Jesus stood on the shore. Yet the disciples did not

know that it was Jesus. Verse five. Jesus said to them, children,

do you have any fish? They answered him no. Verse six.

He said to them, cast the net on the right

side of the boat, and you will find some. So

they cast it, and now they were not able to

haul it in because of the quantity of fish. Verse seven.

That disciple whom Jesus loved, and therefore said to Peter,

it is the Lord. When Simon Peter heard that it

was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for

he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea.

Verse eight. The other disciples came into the boat dragging

the net full of fish, for they were not far

from the land, but about one hundred yards of okay,

or you stop here. So the second l that I

want to share with us how God is going to

lead x clang into your next step of breakthrough. Number

one is let God touch your excepts. Number two is

this simple but very difficult six letter word call everybody

repeat after me. Listen. Wow, so short the word, but

very difficult to do listen. Until now, there are so

many training courses that are teaching us to listen, Ryanald,

Laura Hris, Yeah, I tell you listening course soft skill

course is like one of the number one you know

causes that hrs love to train because it's very hard

to listen. Yeah, even when we do premier counseling. Right,

that's really one of the first things that we talk about.

Communication is number one, not even expectations are communications come first.

And in communication, it's not so much of how to

talk more is how to talk less and listen more.

So.

Listening is something that I think we all struggle with

as human beings. But really this is what God wants

us to do more so that we can break through.

So like in this passage right, we read in John

chapter twenty one, verse six, he said to them, cast

the net on the right side of the boat, and

you will find some. So they cast it, and now

they were not able to haul it in because of

the quantity of fish. This verse, verse six tells us

that Jesus the Disciple gave a direction, a leading to

his disciples, and they had a choice whether to listen

or not, And thank God, they chose to listen, even

though at that time, if you read the scriptures carefully,

they didn't know that it was Jesus giving them the instruction.

Just a few verses up it is written that the

disciples didn't know that it was Jesus that rose again,

So to them it was a stranger telling them, Hey,

have you caught anything or not? No yet? Now why

do you throw the net? Decide how many of us

would be willing to listen to strangers in our lives.

I know Malcolm Blackwell wrote a book talking to Strangers.

Any of you Malcolm Blackwell Fancier, Yeah, I see John

nodding his head, yeah, Jason, yeah, right. Our parents always

raise us, Hey, don't talk those strangers. Sah Yeah, others

you get into trouble, but they listened to a stranger

that told them to cast the net on the other

side because they trusted that it was God speaking true

that stranger, Lou and behold, later they discover it is

God himself. How many of us we are willing to

listen to voices that may seem a bit strange to

us and a bit far off, but we trust that

it is God speaking true them. Sometimes the voices of

our leaders and our disciples may see very far off.

I don't recognize this, this direction line seems so strange

and foreign. But are we going to trust that God

is leading us even in debt and later to discover

israelly God's plan? You know, Like when I've been in

X twenty three years, twenty three years, I came at

nineteen years old as a fresh faced medical student, and

that time church was about fifty people. We were meeting

in different hotels, different shop lots. And I've journeyed with

church to see, you know, go through his ups and downs,

his growth journey. And honestly, yeah, in the first I

would say maybe ten years of church life, we were

growing big. We were growing big. Yeah, from fifty when

I came. The first year or the growth was just exponential.

We became into hundreds, into a thousand over by the

tenth year, right, and we were just growing big. And

then suddenly God shook us and say, no, I do

want you to become a mega church. That's not my

plan for you. I do want you to be an elephant.

I want you to be like an end because elephant big,

but cannot go to the little corners, and the small

can go to the little corners. So God wants us

to be spread out through church plants, not one big

mega church. And at a time it seemed like a

strange voice, hah, break us up. Huh yeah, so comfortable together,

so fun to be one big, energetic group. There's something

about big crowds that attracts us humans. I mean, we

all can't deny like that's the energy right in a

big crowd that is just unexplainable. But yet that's not

God's plan for us. War He doesn't want us to

be a monument big church. Only he wants us to

be a movement so that more people can come to

know him, small churches, church plants. So it was a strange,

like a strange sounding voice at that time, but thank

God Pasa Kenna chose to listen and the rest of

us not easy, but we just follow Aniela, trusting that

God is in this and that's why today we have

ex clang. If if Passa Kennev and our church didn't

want to listen to that strange sounding voice, which is

actually from God, we you and I won't be here today. Yeah.

How many of you will be traveling to Subbang for

service every Sunday. I see some hates already. Yeah, honestly, right,

aren't you thankful for ex clang?

Yeah?

And that this is a fruit of obedience, even to

initially strange sounding direction. But actually it's God got through

the stranger.

Yeah.

And you know I want to tell you so this week,

I mean ex clang with y'all. Last week I was

in ex Melbourne. My family went for a holiday.

Uh.

The previous week we were in x Cybergia. Yeah, and

I had the privilege to visit different ex churches, whether

it's here in Malaysia or overseas. But I tell you

one thing remains the same. From the moment we start

praying and worshiping God, and God's presence comes down. I

recognize that same presence in every different ex church, whether

it's here in Malaysia or overseas. Last week we were

in Melbourne and the congregation of Melbourne is half this,

half your size maybe until the third row. That's it. Yeah,

congregation is half the size. Also very simple acoustic setup

as well. But God's presence came down so strongly, and

when I was there, I said, hey, you know, like

you smell a particular smell and you know, you know

what that smell is a familiar smell that was the

same when God's presence came felt so strong an X Melbourne,

like God, very familiar. This is the same smell of

your presence that we get back home in Malaysia. This morning,

as we were worshiping, you know the cool couple, the

ac couple was leading worship power, God's presence also came

down so strong and I sniff it again in my spirit.

I say, hey, this is the same smell of your

presence that I felt in Melbourne that I feel in

cyber I felt at our Missions conference, I felt on

day one day I stepped into Extra twenty three years ago.

It's the same smell of God's presence, and it's God

saying that I'm the same across all our extra plants.

So don't you worry, you are not missing out on anything.

God is here, just like how he was in Australia

last week when I was there and in many different

ex plants, and I just wanted to say, you know,

Andy and Connie, keep serving the Lord as a couple.

You know, don't worry about getting the cords and the

timing you know perfect. But as both of you were worshiping,

I just felt that God was really pleased with your worship. Really,

you know, you have a daviding spirit, a heart that

just purely, sincerely, genuinely wants to worship God with your all.

And even as King David dunes before the Lord in

just a loin cloth, right, very bad through the world,

it seems like, you know, like imperfect, but God was

well pleased with his worship. And so you know, yes,

continue to grow in the spirit of excellence, for sure,

but just to want to affirm both of you that

you have the right spirit of worship that is pleasing

before God. And when you when just now you say,

you know we're going to bring down walls through our worship.

That was God prophesying through you. So they had to

prophesy more for the Lord as you lead worship. Yeah,

that was powerful. Do more of that, Okay. So continue

to self faithfully as husband and wife because you've got

really a worshipful spirit, like a spirit of David that

pleases God. You give your best, yeah, and allow God

to prophesy even more true you as you lead worship,

because worship is not just giving thanks, it's not just

praising God, but it's actually paving the way for the future.

Prophesying is part of worship as well. So I want

to leave that with you. Yeah, okay, cool? Yeah, all right.

So where is God leading ex clang to or even

you as the head of your family? Where is God

leading you too to cast your net this season? Listen

and don't be afraid to try something new. Yeah, don't

be afraid to try something new. I'm saying this to

you as ex clang as families here, even as young

people here. Don't be afraid to try something new because

God is in this Amen. So I don't know what

it's going to look like for you. What is the

right side of the boat for you? As ex clang

as families. But I just want to encourage you to

listen and don't be afraid to listen to what seems

like something strange, but it's actually God that is speaking

to you. And don't be afraid to try something new

as well. Yeah, because then the harvests will come in. Okay,

let's read the second part. So we're going to the

third al already. Okay, we're still a John Chapter twenty one,

verse nine to fourteen. Okay. Verse nine. When they got

out on the land, they saw a chuckal fire in place.

We fish laid on it and break Verse ten. Jesus

said to them, bring some of the fish that you

have just caught. Verse eleven. So Simon Peter went aboard

and haul in the net ashore full of large fish.

Are not just fish, but large fish one hundred and

fie the tree of them. And although there were so many,

the net was not torn. Verse twelve. Jesus said to them,

come and have breakfast. Now none of the disciples dead.

Ask him, who are you? They knew it was the Lord.

Verse thirteen. Jesus came and took the braid and gave

it to them, and so with the fish. Verse fourteen

This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed

to the disciples after he was raised from the dead. Amen.

And here the third el that I want to introduce

to us is we can show it this beautiful four

letter word called live. Everybody say live. Love is so

beautiful for letter word na live. And I want to

draw our attention to verse eleven, the second Yeah. So

Simon Peter went aboard and hold the net ashore full

of large fish, one hundred and fifty tree of them. Okay,

I'm going to stop here for the first half of

this message. Have you wondered why the number is one

five tree? Why not one five two, one five, four

five five God's number? Sorry I speak Anthony's, but I

mean a hockey land right. Please don't stone me. Okay,

don't stone me. I don't know how to say all

these numbers in hocken. Why one five tree? Ah? Now,

there are many tiories why the number is one five tree,

not more, not less, But there is one particular tiory

that my heart resonates with. So at that point in time,

there were one hundred and fifty three fishes known to men.

At that point of time, the Jesus time by the lake.

At that time in civilization, men knew a total of

one hundred and fifty three species of fishes. Now, if

you Checchibiti way more in the thousands of species. But

at that time what was known to men is one

hundred and fifty three species of fishes. So God is

trying to say that by hauling in one five tree fishes,

he's got every type of fish at that time known

to men covered in the net, and the fish represents lives.

And so God is saying, if we dare to listen

to his leading, even though it may feel for to

us at first, it may seem new and uncomfortable, but

He will bring in the one five tree fishes of

Klang to ex Clang, all the different fishes in Klang,

all the different types of people in Klang you think

impossible to reach and bring into God's house. If you

choose to listen, God is able to bring the one

five tree types of people from Clang into x Clang.

And we say, amen, Amen, Amen. That's the symbolism of it.

And you know I want to end this message with

this point. We're still on this verse. Just keep it up.

The beautiful thing is that.

Wow.

God, sounds like you got a lot work for us

to do. Ah, wow, we have to let you touch

our excepts war Wow. We got to listen to you.

Why you know we got to carry the fish in.

Your know, it's not easy to bring in the harvest

from the sea last time. No hydraulics, backuatronics, whatever tronics

you call it, it's human tronics. Okay, human bear strength

to pull in the hall. Anyone of you have gone fishing.

No John has gone fishing. Oh, it's the biggest catch.

You caught this big? How many kilos is that? Don't know?

I think a few kilos are like a bag of rice.

I went fishing once and I caught this fish. Call

it can Lambu. I think very cute. Yeah, small little fish.

Only how many grams? John caught few kilos? But John

dead times one hundred and fifty three. But Julian, they're

all gym people doing the mess. Yeah, I think one

gym load of men so that you could to haul

it in. It's hard work. When yes, we get excited

for one hundred and fifty three fishes on plane coming

into explaining, but it's gonna take work. I won't deny it.

We work for our food. Oh so right. Yes, But

I want to encourage your brothers and sisters. I want

to leave this with you that your net will not

be broken. Your net will not be broken. God's gonna

preserve your net as a human being, as part of

a family that you lead, as part of the leadership

and partnership of this church. You may thank God, Wow,

you're calling us into deeper waters for you. Surely our

net will break. Cannot want God. We got limit as

human beings. But God is saying your net, exclaim will

not be broken. As God is calling you into deeper waters.

Your net will not be broken. As an individual, as

a father, as a mother, a husband, a wife, a servant,

a leader in his house. Your net will not be

broken because God's gonna sustain your net super naturally. So

don't be afraid to go deeper with God this year.

Don't pay, don't base saying yes to God on your

past experiences. We had the privilege in Melbourne to pray

for a dear couple. Uh And and so this couple

transitioned to Melbourne a while and previously they were from

other extra plans and they were faithfully serving and when

in Melbourne. They had their reservations to say yes to

serving God again, and God just released a word say,

don't base your today on yesterday's experience. Don't be afraid

to say yes today because of your experience in the past.

God will give you a new grace for a new season. Amen,

Vincent and energy as you hate to Sydney, a new

grace for a new season. And the rest of us too. Really,

so I just want to leave this with us that

our net will not be broken. Amen. Amen, I mean

I for me, I'm still here, right, I still look okay, right,

I still thought okay, right, ah, are you overy? Okay? Okay,

I was crying really, just not ding worship. Yeah, the runda,

the toilet to make sure I look okay. But so

I've had the privilege of knowing God and you know,

serving him for a number of years now. But he

has not allowed my net to be broken, even from

serving him as a young person a youth, to serving

him even when I was working as a busy doctor

in the hospital, to serving him even after getting married

having kid number one, number two, number three. The early

years are tough when you have children. No denial, It's

part of the life and growing process, but it won't

last forever. Yeah, and even now we have our own challenges.

But through all the seasons and steps of my life

and walking we've got and serving Him, he has not

allowed my net to be broken. I'm still standing here.

I'm still worshipping and serving God. Yes, I do have

my challenges. I do fall sick as well. I do

get tired, I do get frustrated, but ultimately my net

has never been broken. Put those end of me. No,

God has preserved me. And so I'm here to also

share with you that He will also preserve you. Exclaim

as you're dare to go deeper with Him, your net

will not be broken. Him mean, And I just want

to invite Judah up to just my son, my eldest son,

to share a quick testimony. So Judah got water baptized

a few months ago, and I just wanted him to

share his testimony with us before I wrap up this message.

Okay, So my war baptism testimony is when I first

found out about Jesus.

It was well, I.

Was probably I found out when I was like two

three because my prayer parents were pastors and all. Yeah, yeah,

I've been going to church since I was born, I guess.

And then I first accepted crist at teens camp when

I was eleven, and then I felt God's presence in

the room and it pushed me down. And then from

then on I kind of took God more seriously, like

praying to God for every small loathing or big loathing.

And then the day I realized God's true power was

when pastor kind of prayed for that deaf person and

she could hear. Then from then on I lifted every sickness,

paid what do you call it, temptation and all into

God's hands and he delivered.

Yeah, thank you Judah for sharing this. I just asked

him in the car and he said, mammte, there's a

bit random, right, I'd be spontaneous, suddenly asked me. So

he's a you know, the sea type mind. You must

give advance notice, cannot sally random. Yeah, okay, but thank

you Judah, well done. Well then, thank you for sharing that.

And when when I first heard his testimony for water

baptism a few months ago, I teared. La. I teared

on many accounts because I guess coming how to say,

both my husband and I we are fairly matured Christians.

We are leaders in church, so naturally we have this

expectation for our children to come to know Him at

a young age. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe it was

a subconscious expectation that we placed on our kids. Say, hey,

you know, we grew up in church, we are now

serving God, we're leaders. Our children should also come to

know Him from a young age. So I probably had

that subconscious expectation, you know, and they got to behave

fla and all lah. Right, but then that didn't happen. Yeah,

he Well, Judah came to know God personally two years

ago and not way younger when I expected him to.

But I'm here to say, parents, God has his own

clock for our children. Let's remember that. Yeah, sometimes we

subconsciously place our own expectations and clocks on our kids.

But this is God's kid, it's not even my kid.

And He has his timing for our children to experience

the salvation that break through, that growth. So let's continue

to be good stewards and let God, yeah, break through

with them at the right time. So I teared that

while God, when I lost I felt like I couldn't

do anything more to see my son get saved, that's

when you took over. When I came to my end

and I let go, then that's when you took over.

And I think that's what Jason and Jess will tell

you as well. Even with Jerome, when they came to

their end, then that's when he took over. And you

and all of us can witness the transformation, the miracle

that's happening in his life, right. And so I teared

on that account. But I also teared on another account

that when he said that he we really experienced God's

true power or realize God's true power when he followed

us to pray earlier this year. So pray is our

combined prayer rally four times a year, and I remember

early this year he followed us like usual, no choice. Yeah,

but I'm so glad that it wasn't a fruitless following

if you get what I'm mean. For parents here, I

know sometimes we feel like men, our kids have to

follow us as we worship and serve God. Are they

missing out on sleep, on time for work activities, on life?

But I want to say that when we dare to

bring our whole family along with us to worship and

serve Him God will add life to them as well.

And that's what he did for Judah. So because he

was at pray earlier this year, for those of you

who were there, Pastor Kenneff actually prayed for Deafhane. So

Deaphane is actually our death partner and she cannot hear

from birth, and God led past her to to just

call her out to lay hands on her, and true

that time or prayer and the whole church surrounded her,

she started to feel pain in her years. She started

to feel like something was unblocking and she could hear

like very faint, you know, like yeah sounds in her years,

which is never experienced before because she's been deaf from birth.

And even I was wild, and I didn't know. I

didn't know that Judah saw a new sight of God

that day until he showed me his water baptism testimony.

I was like, wow, God, you use even the so

called the mundane and the spiritual routines that we go

through to to meet our children. And and you know,

so God didn't allow our nets to be broken even

though we faith worship and serve Him, but instead he

added fish, He added live into our family. Amen. And

I just want to leave that with you ex clag

because I know there are many families here. Don't be

afraid to say yes. Together with your whole family, your

net will not be broken. He will add fish his

life into you and your household. Amen. We hope you've
