  1. You're listening to a message to go from ex Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. By grace, true faith for good works. Right, by grace,

  4. true faith for good works. And we're gonna read scripture together.

  5. I would like to encourage us to turn to Ephicients

  6. Chapter two, verse one to ten. Efficients Chapter two, verse

  7. one to ten. Okay, I'm going to be reading from

  8. the NKJV version for this one. I really love the

  9. NKJV version. I think it really encapsulates what God is

  10. trying to tell us in this translation. Of course, any

  11. other translation is fine. The important part is that you

  12. enjoy that translation. I always say this, when you read

  13. the Bible, find a Bible that you would like reading.

  14. Not to say that different versions of the Bible. There

  15. is a better one or not a better or worse one,

  16. but it helps to find a version that speaks to

  17. you in in sense or in terms of the language. Right.

  18. I'm pretty sure if I pass you a KJV version,

  19. you wouldn't read it where there's the time fee I know,

  20. or the traditional English. Right Like for me personally, I

  21. have an NLT version. I so have an NKJV NIV

  22. version back home, right, now I love to read the

  23. NLT version. I feel that it's very relatable in terms

  24. of the language. Right, So find a version that works

  25. for you, that would encourage you to read the Word

  26. of God. Okay, but for today's reading purposes, we're gonna

  27. look at I'm going to read from the NKJV. Okay,

  28. you can follow along, right, So if you're there, say

  29. I'm there. Fantastic, all right, Ephicients two one to ten.

  30. And this is why the apostle Paul wrote to the

  31. church in Ephesus. He says this, and you he made

  32. a life, he meaning Jesus, and you he made alive

  33. who were dead in trespasses and sins in which you

  34. once walk according to the cause of this world, according

  35. to the Prince of the powder air, that's the devil

  36. the spirit who now works in the sons of this

  37. obedience Verse three. Among whom also we all once conducted

  38. ourselves in lots of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of

  39. the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature

  40. children of wrath, just as the others. But God, God,

  41. who is rich in mercy because of his great love

  42. with which he loved us, even when we were dead

  43. in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. By grace

  44. you have been saved verse six, and raised us up together,

  45. and made us sit together in the heavenly places in

  46. Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come, he might

  47. show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness

  48. towards us in Christ Jesus verse eight. And want us

  49. to pay attention to this, for by grace you have

  50. been saved true faith, and that not of yourselves. It

  51. is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone

  52. should boast, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus,

  53. for good works which God prepared beforehand, that we should

  54. walk in them. A man. God blessed the reading of

  55. his word. Now a little bit of context. The Efficient Church.

  56. If you did a little bit of study about the church, ineficios,

  57. how they are, how they were, the Efficient Church was

  58. a model church. They were a great church. You can

  59. see this in chapter one the in many if any verses,

  60. commanding your church. While you are, you guys are amazing.

  61. You know, you guys have great works. You guys do

  62. a lot of good deeds. You guys are known in

  63. the community as a church that does good work. And

  64. Paul was just saying fantastic, you did great. But yet, interestingly,

  65. in one verse, verse four, Paul says, this, you did

  66. all of this, but one thing, one thing I just

  67. want to bring to you, my beloved Church of Ipicius,

  68. you have left your first love. Hold on a moment.

  69. Isn't this a model church that is known for good works,

  70. great deeds, that is known for doing amazing things, loving people,

  71. loving the community, making a difference. But yet in verse four,

  72. in chapter one, Paul says, you have left your first love.

  73. And let this be a first loving reminder to us.

  74. Let us remember as we continue to do church, as

  75. we continue to love our community, let us not forget

  76. to love God. Let us not forget that it is

  77. out of our love for the Lord that we are

  78. doing what we do. Because let me tell you this,

  79. as believers, as Christians, especially those of us here who

  80. faithfully serve the house, if we get don't do this right,

  81. if we just give and do good, these good works,

  82. loving community, living community, living community, and forget our first love,

  83. I'm gonna tell you this, You're gonna burn out and

  84. you're gonna hate the church. I've not been in ministry

  85. for long, but in these short few years I've seen

  86. how this has happened to people that out of the

  87. zealousness of serving the house but not being filled by

  88. the love of God, they burn out. And what happens

  89. The fingers are pointed at the church. The church did

  90. this to me. The church doesn't care. The church doesn't

  91. want me to do work, but never cares for my

  92. well being. So we have to be very careful church.

  93. Because that was where the efficient Church was hating too.

  94. They were doing a lot of great work, but they

  95. forgot their first love. This is very dangerous and this

  96. is exactly where the enemy wants to place us, to

  97. get us to be so busy with church that we

  98. have no time for devotion, to get so busy with

  99. doing administration. Sometimes, as leaders, we got a mean stuff

  100. to do. You know, we've got to some a after homes,

  101. we have to submit homes, report want do you know

  102. that friends appreciate your leaders. There's work to do. We

  103. have to submit share, But what went on in homes

  104. or when well, what could be improved? You know? After

  105. worship surveys, the LSBO, the locals in the passers office,

  106. the leaders of the church. We have to send reports

  107. every Sunday, right, the right to reflect what went. Now

  108. that's why first serving team. I want to speak to

  109. your serving team. Please give your feedback every week when

  110. we ask you know, hey, what when well, what can

  111. we improved? Let us not help your leaders out because

  112. we are not everywhere or at once. We don't know

  113. what happens sometimes, you know in certain parts of the service.

  114. Let us know. We give your feedback so that it

  115. helps the leaders to also give have a picture of

  116. what we're on during worship survey, so that we can

  117. we can improve. Right if there are any places of improvement.

  118. And note, if they are people who are saved, we

  119. need to know because we need to journey with them.

  120. We need to teach them the Bible, God's word. All right,

  121. So that's just something that I want to share. But anyways,

  122. what I'm trying to say is this that was happening

  123. to the Ephician church. They forgot their first love. They

  124. were doing everything well known as the model church. But

  125. yet at the same time they lost their first love.

  126. What a tragedy that means. To say, all the commendation

  127. that Paul gave in chapter one was notified in that

  128. one statement, you lost your first love. Let me translate

  129. that for you. That means we can do everything right,

  130. but if we have loved lost our love for God,

  131. it will be all for nothing. You guys call that.

  132. I hope that will be a reminder for us, all right.

  133. So that's a little bit of a context, right that.

  134. This is what ificious Church, efficient Church was going through.

  135. And just like how Paul needed to remind such a

  136. amazing church that he has planted and passed on, in

  137. the same way, I want to remind us to remember

  138. our first love and why we do what we do.

  139. I want us to remember what church is all about.

  140. That Jesus is the center, not good works. Good works

  141. is the result of Jesus being in the center. Amen.

  142. Good works is the result of us loving Jesus at

  143. the center, and naturally, out of and overflowing and out

  144. pouring of our hearts, we then do good works and

  145. good this. Oh wow, I actually went to my conclusion already.

  146. But anyways, I'm going ahead of myself. Wow, Amen, let

  147. us pray No, I'm kidding, okay. So I want to

  148. bring us to a first point. I want us again

  149. to ear my efficients. Chapter two verse eight, because this

  150. is a scripture that we'll keep coming back to, all right,

  151. just so if just put a finger there so that

  152. you can easily reference it. First point, we are saved

  153. by grace. You know, we say this a lot. We

  154. are saved by grace, true faithful, good works, but we

  155. sometimes don't really fully understand what it means. So I'm

  156. gonna deep dive into this with us today. You see,

  157. we are saved by grace. Who's grace, God's grace. That

  158. means it's not by our own doing.

  159. That.

  160. It means not amount of good work you do, not

  161. amount of nobel prize you win, it's gonna bring you

  162. to good standing with God. You catch that it is

  163. only by God's grace that we can or are saved.

  164. Remember the person that was crucified beside Jesus, the criminal,

  165. the thief. He by record isn't someone that should be saved.

  166. But you know what happened. He actually tells told Jesus

  167. Jesus remember me in Paradise. That means he acknowledged Jesus's lordship,

  168. and through that acknowledgement he received grace from Jesus. Because

  169. Jesus say, today you will be with me in paradise.

  170. So it is not by works, my friends, Because by

  171. works this criminals should not be going to heaven. I

  172. want you to think about someone so evil in our

  173. world today. I'm pretty sure somethings pop up, or someone

  174. who is no longer around. You know, some people even

  175. say the perpetrator of World War Two? All right, I

  176. want to tell you this. Do you know that Jesus

  177. also loves them? What evil men like this? Yeah? Do

  178. you know Jesus died for them? The politicians that we

  179. got said about, do you know Jesus died for them?

  180. Do you know that as long as they accept Jesus,

  181. they are safe? Can you accept that? You see? God

  182. doesn't work in a way. We think we are limited

  183. by our view of morality, but God views his creation differently.

  184. As long as you receive me, as long as you repent,

  185. you're saved. Therefore, we are saved not by good words.

  186. We are saved not by good deeds. But we are

  187. safe only by the grace of God. We are not

  188. able to save ourselves. My friends, I just want to

  189. take a moment for us to just just let this

  190. sink in for a little bit, that in our years

  191. of life on planet Earth. We can never save ourselves.

  192. Let that sink in. It's a very depressing thought. That means,

  193. by our own strength, by our own wisdom, by our

  194. own morality or sense of righteousness, we are beyond salvation.

  195. Very depressing if you think about it. But thank goodness,

  196. God is in the picture where God's grace come. I'm

  197. breaking it out further because sometimes as Christians this becomes

  198. very we are numb to these kind of words. Terminology is,

  199. but I want to really break it down. What does

  200. grace means? That means we're beyond salvation by our own

  201. means a God stepped in. God says I love you.

  202. I'm going to provide a way. And there is true Jesus,

  203. even if it means sacrificing my own son, going through

  204. all the pain and torment, but I'm going to do this.

  205. That is grace. Grace has the name. His name is Jesus.

  206. And you remember that. How many of you here when

  207. you buy a product from Shoppy or Lasada, or how

  208. about how many of you here if the product comes

  209. to you with a scratch, or an electronic comes to

  210. you that cannot turn on, how many of you here

  211. will just receive it and keep it and not say anything.

  212. How many of you will actually return it and asked

  213. a replacement. Those who don't raise your hand, You guys

  214. are lying, because I would do that. If I buy

  215. an electronic and it doesn't work, they better well send

  216. me a working one. Somehow I have to send back

  217. to them extra work I want. Asked an extra voucher

  218. for the extra work. But you see, when Jesus redeemed us,

  219. he was redeeming broken property. You know, Jesus know full

  220. well what he was redeeming broken property, but Jesus did

  221. it anyways, in our brokenness. Jesus said, I want this person,

  222. I want this, this broken thing, this broken pottery. Give

  223. it to me. And he bought it with blood, guys,

  224. not shopping coins. Blood cost them. That is grace. I

  225. want to look at the let's do a little bit

  226. or I love to do this. My one of my

  227. in terms of five foot ministry, my gifting is in teaching.

  228. So you notice that when I preach, I love to

  229. deep dive into root words, the original text. Now the

  230. grace that is in this text, Yeah, this is the

  231. word charity. Familiar came from this word, you know, grace.

  232. The root word is that you, Carris. Now you may

  233. have friends that is that has this name, that have

  234. this name, right Carris. And these are the definitions of

  235. basically the meaning of the word charity that's used here

  236. for the word grace. Okay, the original word Greek word

  237. that was used when the letter was written acceptable, benefit, favor, give, gracious, joy, liberality, pleasure, thanks, thanks,

  238. or thank worthy credit. I'm gonna throw a bomb statement

  239. here to us. If you look at these words and

  240. you and this means grace. You see the word pleasure,

  241. that means it brings God great pleasure to save you.

  242. It brings God joy to help you in your brokenness.

  243. That makes that we are not troubling God. You know,

  244. Oh yeah, I messed up again God. And then God

  245. is a hi again, need to help this fella. But

  246. God finds it a pleasure to save you. My friends.

  247. That means anytime you're in trouble, God is like, ah,

  248. I'm coming. I'm excited to help this person. My child.

  249. I want to help my child. I want to love

  250. on my child. I want my child to know that

  251. he has a he or she has a loving father

  252. ready to help. And this is the good news that

  253. bear to you. When we say we are saved by grace,

  254. that is what it means. That means in your brokenness.

  255. And I tell you this all of us. Let's be

  256. real here. We all go through brokenness, even as Christians,

  257. and sometimes even more so. In our brokenness, God finds

  258. pleasure to reach down to us and to bring us up.

  259. So whatever situations you're in, my friends, remember this truth

  260. that it pleasures God to help you and you're not

  261. on your own. So this is the first point and

  262. is the point of hope. All of us go through brokenness,

  263. acknowledge it and bring God in because God it brings

  264. God joy to save you, to help you, brings God

  265. joy to stop the rain for pickup ball so that

  266. his children can enjoy. Remember that that's what it means

  267. by we are safe by grace, that we are undeserving

  268. of it. We are broken, we are beyond help by

  269. our own means. But God says, I love this broken person,

  270. this is my child. I'll come and help. Parents. Here,

  271. you will know that your child, at any point, your

  272. child is in trouble and you and they reach out

  273. to you, you will without a shadow of adopt I

  274. hope without any delay. Help your child. Same thing, even

  275. more so for the God who loves us so much.

  276. Share a little story. I posted these are my socials.

  277. You may have read it. I recently watched this series

  278. called Adolescence, so you may have watched it. A man

  279. that struck deep for me because I'm not going to

  280. share the story, Like if guys want you, guys can

  281. go ahead watch it. It's a heavy watch, I must say.

  282. Have you watch a lot to ponder on. But after

  283. I finished watching, I just can't help but have a

  284. sense of like, God, thank you you're in my life,

  285. those of you who watch it, And I mean in

  286. recent events, you notice in our backyard in a school,

  287. a student was stepped to death by another student's heartbreaking

  288. just in the backyard five minutes away. And in my

  289. mind when that happened, I was like, what would have

  290. brought a young man to a point that he was

  291. able to do such an atrocious thing? And then when

  292. I watched at Holescence, I reflected on my own life

  293. and I can't help again but to be grateful to

  294. God that he is in my life because I don't

  295. know how I will turn out. You know, if it

  296. wasnt for God. If you talk to my parents, I

  297. think they would also say this. I went through a lot.

  298. I went through Buling growing up. Eleven years of my

  299. life seven to seventeen. I went to Buling. I went

  300. to buling In church as well. Wow, I could very

  301. well have hated the church, by the way, if that

  302. has happened a lot of things in my life. I

  303. tell you, if it wasn't by the grace of God,

  304. there's no way I'd be standing here preaching to you

  305. as a pastor. Let my life be an evidence that

  306. God exists. Because I can tell you this before if

  307. I have time, if we hang out, if I share

  308. with you the full extent of my story how I

  309. grew up, I think you wouldn't be able to deny that.

  310. There must be a higher power that's orchestrating everything. I

  311. reflect and I go like, Wow, God, thank you that

  312. you are in my life. And because you are in

  313. my life, that is grace. And because there's grace here,

  314. I am standing alive and well and more living an

  315. abundant life. That is the first point. We are safe

  316. by grace. I love how you guys are sitting there,

  317. lying there. I hope you guys are listening to me, preacher,

  318. So yeah, you know. First point, I just want to

  319. bring up this scripture Romans five eight. He says this,

  320. but God demonstrates his own love towards us in the

  321. wile we were still see us, Christ died for us.

  322. All right, the while we were still see us, Christ

  323. died for us. Yeah. Remember that before we even know

  324. of Christ, he died for us. Okay, that is God's grace. Okay,

  325. all right. Second point, so first point, we are saved

  326. by grace. Second point is this we are safe true

  327. faith efficients to it. I'm gonna read the NLT version now.

  328. So in the NKJV version it says for by grace

  329. you have been saved true faith. Right. In the NALTY version,

  330. it says God saved you by his grace when you believed,

  331. when you believed, meaning to say, God's redeeming work in

  332. our lives can only be done when you choose to

  333. believe in him. That means you there is an action

  334. you have to take, you know, friends, if you want

  335. God's grace to be in your life, there is a prerequisite.

  336. You have to believe. You have to believe. Now, the

  337. rule what you sea in Greek was pistis pistus for

  338. the word faith that's us here and when when you

  339. believe was used in the NLT version. The root word

  340. is pistus. It means faith, believe, trust, confidence, fidelity, pledge.

  341. If you see the word trust, confidence, pledge, that means

  342. that it's no longer when you pray for by faith

  343. for God to help you, it's longer God, if you

  344. may help me, God, maybe you will come true for

  345. me some of this. Some of us pray prayers like this.

  346. Let's be honest. I sometimes pray that God, maybe maybe

  347. you can help me in this. God. But when it

  348. comes to experiencing God's grace by faith, that means a.

  349. Your prayers should be God, I know you can do this. God.

  350. You are fully able and capable to come true for me. God,

  351. you are almighty or powerful. God. You love me. God,

  352. you will not allow me to remain in this state forever.

  353. You will help me through this. God. See the sheaf

  354. of prayer. Because when you say faith is full confidence,

  355. faith is trust, that means it's really trusting God will

  356. come true for you. Lah. It's not maybe God, you

  357. will do it like God, maybe maybe you will come

  358. true for me. I hope. This changes your perspective of

  359. prayer because when you pray, now you got to prayer

  360. and say, God, help me. Lord, I know you can't

  361. help me. Lord, lead me, Lord, reveal yourself to me. Lord,

  362. bring me through this. Lord, not God. Maybe maybe help

  363. me Lord. No, because when you talk about faith, this

  364. is what faith means. Pisses pledge. What a word to use.

  365. When I look at this word pledge. Basically what occurs

  366. to me is this right when you have faith in God,

  367. that means you're pledging your situation to God, saying God,

  368. I fully submit what I'm going true to you. I

  369. fully submit, I fully trust you'll take over. At the

  370. same time, you're pledging yourself to God and say, God,

  371. my life is yours. I pledge my life to you.

  372. You take over. I am in your mercy. And one

  373. of the things I've caught a few years back was this.

  374. God revealed this to me when I was in a

  375. really tough spot, when I knew that my hands, my

  376. life is completely in God's hands. I realized this. The

  377. revelation was this, that I am utterly completely in God's mercy.

  378. That means Ah. That means when when you say terms

  379. like I'm in my enemy's mercy. Here it sounds a

  380. very terrible thing, right, Oh no, the enemy can do

  381. to me whatever he or she wishes. But you see

  382. when you can say that that for me, it was,

  383. Oh God, I'm completely in your mercy. And he revealed

  384. to me this, What a beautiful place to be, What

  385. a safe place to be, to be completely in God's mercy.

  386. The mesa my life is completely God sends it. You know,

  387. not up to me anymore. Many times you think that

  388. that's a giving up of our rights. I want to

  389. tell you this. The moment you became a Christian, you

  390. already gave up your rights. Remember, God redeemed you. But

  391. when you know that God is a loving father, you

  392. willingly give up your rights to him. That God, you

  393. take over your control our God, you tell me where

  394. to go. God, piss this faith, believe. Mark nine, verse

  395. twenty three to twenty five says this. And as you

  396. flip up on this scripture, I want us to know

  397. that we are also as human beings, not always in

  398. a place where we can go God, I believe. Fully.

  399. Let's be real. Many times, it's hard to believe. Many

  400. times in the midst of our difficult situation. As we

  401. are in a very dark valley. It's very hard to

  402. go like God, God, I believe in you fully. It's tough.

  403. But you know in the Bible there is someone like

  404. that as well. Thank God, there's someone like that. Mark

  405. Chapter nine, Verse they three twenty five. Jesus said to him,

  406. if you can believe again, faith right here, pass this.

  407. If you can pass this, all things are possible. That

  408. means uh. The prerequisite is there. If you want all

  409. things will be possible in your life, you gotta believe.

  410. And then the father of the child cry out and

  411. say it with Piers in desperation. Lord, I believe, And

  412. then here a little bit skids O, Lord, I believe.

  413. Help my unbelief gone mayor one moment, believe one moment,

  414. don't believe. But don't you think this, This ironic saman

  415. is very human. I found myself in this saying this

  416. many times. Lord, I believe in you, but Lord, I

  417. still don't believe that you can come true. For my situation,

  418. I cannot see the Lord. I cannot see a way out. Lord. Oh,

  419. I find this person very relatable because I find myself

  420. in this saying this in many situations of my life.

  421. So he says this again. Let me make it simpler.

  422. Jesus says, if you believe, all things are possible. And

  423. then here comes this father that says, God in tears,

  424. I believe, but help me in my unbelief. You know

  425. what's a beautiful thing? Jesus did? I say, boohoo, too bad?

  426. So said you didn't believe. I won't come true for you,

  427. because he said, what only if you believe me. But

  428. then here's a man that says, I have unbelief. Shouldn't

  429. Jesus have said, sorry, too bad, Come again tomorrow when

  430. you believe. But you know what Jesus said, this is

  431. the beautiful thing. Jesus saw that the people came running together.

  432. He rebuilt the unclean spirit of the Father's child on

  433. the spot death and dumb spirit. I command you come

  434. out of him and enter him no more. And the

  435. rest of the scripture you will see that it was done.

  436. The miracle happened, the child was delivered. So this tells

  437. me that we can be in a state of unbelief,

  438. but as long as we reach out to Jesus, he

  439. will be there. Because that's exactly what the Father went through. Lord, Lord,

  440. you know I have unbelieved. Lord, you know I'm struggling

  441. to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lord,

  442. you know I struggled to see how I'm going to

  443. come out of this. Lord, you know I struggled to

  444. see this impossible situation in my family. But help my unbelief. Lord,

  445. my friends, that is pisti. That is also faith. When

  446. you pray to God and say help my unbelief, that

  447. is faith. Ironic right, That means you also have faith

  448. that God will help you live. Pissed this It started

  449. with by grace charity. Now we say true faith, pistus.

  450. So by grace we are safe, and true faith. We

  451. got to believe, believe in God. And when we struggle

  452. still and pray this prayer, God, help me to believe,

  453. Help me to believe, and then all things are possible,

  454. Jesus says. Third point. So first point, we are saved

  455. by grace. Second point we are saved true faith. Third point. Okay,

  456. there's action points here. Now we are saved for good words.

  457. And now the good words coming to the picture. Paul

  458. spoke to the efficient church and say, hey, you're great

  459. for doing good works, but let me bring you back

  460. to your first love. Remember that you're safe, not by

  461. your good works, by your bye bye bye, by God's

  462. grace and true faith. And now good work's coming to

  463. the picture. Now, only the good works wire coming to

  464. the picture. Ephesians two ten. For we are his workmanship

  465. created in Christ Jesus, for good works, which got prepared beforehand,

  466. that we should walk in them. So we've learned previously

  467. two great words. Was the first one charity or charity

  468. depending on the pronunciation. Second one, this says very good.

  469. The third one is this talking about works gone well?

  470. This sounds like some stars trek or star wars species. God,

  471. all right, and this is what it means really purely work.

  472. God means doing labor work. But I want us to

  473. pay attention to your last two words, action and behavior.

  474. That means when God says you're safe, you experience all

  475. of grace you did that, true faith. You're safe. You

  476. know fully while your first love, you're in touch with God,

  477. good standing, good relationship with God. Now I want you

  478. to go and do good works. And what does good

  479. works mean? We all know about doing charity right, doing

  480. good deeds, But I want us to pay attention to

  481. this behavior. That means having good works. It also means

  482. having good behavior. That means when people look at our life,

  483. do they see Jesus that is considered good works or so,

  484. my friends, According to scripture, it's not just about doing things,

  485. it's about being. It's about being. The follow of Jesus.

  486. That we are meant to be means the moment we

  487. follower disciples of Jesus. That means the way we live.

  488. Our lives should exude God's love, God's compassion, God's peace,

  489. God's hope, God's joy. I'm not saying that we should

  490. put on a mask all the time. I'm saying that

  491. it should be a being. It should come from within.

  492. So that means does our behavior reflect Christ. I have

  493. to remind myself every time I'm driving because the drivers

  494. on the road, be careful. When you pray for patients, Gods,

  495. God will send you testing to build your patients. For

  496. me is traffic on the road, and I have to

  497. remind myself, Hey, I know I don't have a Christian

  498. sticker on my car, but based on my driving, will

  499. people's your testimoney? Like, remind myself this that, Okay, I'm

  500. working progress, working in progress, but can we ask ourself

  501. this question? When people look at our people will know us? Okay,

  502. good lad. They can say that you're a Christian, But

  503. can people see that you're a Christian if they don't

  504. know you. Can people tell that, hey, this person very

  505. loving by the way you treat people who serve you drinks?

  506. Can people tell that you a believer by the by

  507. the way that you see if they are trash and

  508. all that you pick up, you clean up when you

  509. go to a place, you make sure you leave that

  510. place cleaner. I have a habita. I'm not saying you

  511. guys should do it, but it's something that that I

  512. think God is putting me that when I eat at

  513. a restaurant or any copya mkfa, whatever, I'll try to

  514. stack up the place proper believer us so it's easier

  515. for the server to just take. I'm not saying you

  516. guy should do. It's just something that I I I

  517. have a conviction to do. I always try to clean

  518. up after myself as much as I can. If I

  519. go to a fast food chain and I'm supposed to

  520. bring my own trade to dispose, I will do it. Right.

  521. Can people tell if they don't know you that there's

  522. something different about this person just by observing you. Okay,

  523. I'm not saying to put up and act. I'm saying

  524. that we got to be if we are, we call

  525. ourselves sons and daughters of the Living God. We got

  526. to be sons and daughters of the living Godlah right,

  527. and again good news. If you feel condemned, not here

  528. to condemn you. But the Lord is the one that

  529. convicts the hearts. If you feel that, God, these things

  530. are very hard for me to do. Have be ready

  531. like God again, ask God for help. Help me. Lord,

  532. I had to start somewhere. You think I born as

  533. a baby. I'm already keeping plates already, ask my parents.

  534. I don't do the dishes on growing up. I always

  535. complain on my mom, Always say boy, come, can you

  536. have watch place? I want to do homework. No, I'm

  537. not doing homework just right away, right, I do the

  538. easy whit whit whit white when white the place. I

  539. don't want to wash growing up like that. But hey,

  540. if we want to really be a true son and

  541. daughter of the leaving God, we gotta live it out.

  542. So when we talk about we are safe for good works,

  543. many times we think about just donation, give donation, give

  544. donation to people in need. But hey, it starts from

  545. being from the little things, From the little things, you see,

  546. when we truly understand how, then to what extent we

  547. are saved, taking action is second nature because you're in

  548. a place of constantly, in a place of thanks leaving God,

  549. thank you your grace, I'm here And with thanksgiving it

  550. is therefore also natural and easier for us to love

  551. on others, to help others, And no matter how much

  552. we are in lack or in need, there's always room

  553. to give. That is a sign that we truly understand

  554. what it means to be saved, truly know what it means,

  555. that of being in God's mercy. When you truly understand

  556. that you're saved by grace, true faith, you will naturally

  557. want to bring light to your surroundings. It's natural. So

  558. when if you find yourself struggling to be alike wherever

  559. you're placed, then you've got to backtrack a bit. Do

  560. I understand what it means to be saved by grace?

  561. Do I know to what extend Jesus has gone for me?

  562. And then when you go like by grace true faith,

  563. you check yourself. Where is my faith? Do I trust

  564. god fully and my fully pendent on the lot. Because

  565. once you sort this tow out, the good works will come.

  566. It'll become easier. Not to say it'll be very easy,

  567. like drinking water. It will still cost you, but it

  568. will become easier. I want to share about this. Right. So,

  569. a month ago or so you may have seen me

  570. wearing a brace on my wrists. So I injured my hand,

  571. quite a bad one, quite a bad one. I it was.

  572. It was in the gym. I had an injury. I

  573. couldn't really I have I hadn't. I couldn't grip things,

  574. even gripping a pan. I would have numbness that spread

  575. through my wrists. Uh. Quite concerning. I asked a doctor

  576. and she told me that it's potentially a couple of

  577. Dona syndrome based on all this, and I think, I

  578. think call TTF or something like that. Where the bone

  579. could be uh are could be a small bone, year

  580. could have cracked or something. I don't know, but I

  581. didn't go for X ray and all that stubborn me.

  582. But anyways, I injured myself and suddenly I is revelation, right,

  583. I'm like, hey, actually I've been working out. I think

  584. I am fairly okay in terms of strength, but it

  585. all does not matter because I couldn't even exert because

  586. of my race. No matter how strong I am, because

  587. of this connection, I cannot even release that strength. I

  588. cannot exert. I want to tell you these right friends,

  589. in the same way that revelation. Through that revelation, God

  590. taught me something that we can be very good in

  591. a lot of things that we do. We can be

  592. very gifted and talented, but without the Holy Spirit in

  593. our lives, right, we cannot exert influence, true influence in

  594. terms of bringing God's love into their lives, impacting their lives.

  595. We're talking about good worlds, right, good behavior and all that,

  596. and then true that, hopefully and prayerfully God's love is spread.

  597. So that means you need God in the picture. You

  598. will need God in the picture if you want to

  599. truly be light and sort where you're at, you need

  600. God in the picture because no matter how gifted, talented,

  601. wherever you are, how rich you are, without going in

  602. the picture, you can do a difference, but not eternal. Okay,

  603. remember that I'm gonna come to my end conclusion I'm

  604. just gonna do to wrap it all up. Give you

  605. guys an equation and I'll finish this already. Okay, all right,

  606. this is God's equation, grace by grace true faith. It's

  607. a multiplication. Grace times safe equals salvation and good works. Okay,

  608. hopefully that will help you remember it. Because when we

  609. say by grace truethath by grace true faith, it's like

  610. the English words are like playing with English words, a

  611. little bit hard to understan. And but grace, true faith

  612. salvation and good works. It is not grace times faith

  613. pluss good works equal salvation. You get the equation right,

  614. when you understand that you're saved by grace and you

  615. multiply that by faith. Why do I say multiply by faith?

  616. Because it is the Bible says this, right, You've got

  617. to believe it's an action. It's a multiplication. And why

  618. do I put multiplication because God is a god of multiplication,

  619. not just addition. With the little that we have, we

  620. add the God factor in. It multiplies Grace times faith

  621. equals salvation and good works. And it is not grace

  622. timesas plass good works. Then it is your salvation. Then

  623. we have gotten the whole equation wrong. And this is

  624. when we open up all right, because we be working

  625. for our salvation. We can't it's by grace right. But Lord,

  626. the Bible they tell us tell us that we have

  627. to work out our salvation, meaning to say, we've got

  628. to constantly leave out the truth of salvation. It's not

  629. like once and for all your safe, then we happily

  630. do whatever we want. Right. Remember that, Hey, are we

  631. all okay? And I want to end with this right

  632. For every single brother and sister you are sitting here,

  633. I just want to tell you this. God wants to

  634. work in and through you, every single one. If you're

  635. a believer of Jesus. This is the fact for us.

  636. God wants to work in you first and then through you.

  637. It never stops in you. That's why God never asked

  638. us to go and meditate in a monastery forever and ever.

  639. God actually asks you to go and make disciples, not

  640. just stay and mad it on his word. Important. But

  641. there's a result from that, There is an action God

  642. wants to work through us. Okay, I'm gonna do a

  643. little illustration. Okay, let me see who I can get

  644. to volunteer all looking away. They all looking away. Come, come, come,

  645. don't worry. I won't get to get you to do

  646. physical exercises. Okay, okay. I got this illustration from passa

  647. k net if you'd just stand here. I got this

  648. illustration from Passa K. I learned from him. What's this glove? Right?

  649. Big yellow glove? Right? You see the glove? What does

  650. it look like? Yellow? Yes? Yes, yes, yes. I don't

  651. know if there was a racist statement because I'm holding it,

  652. but kidding, kidding? What I look like? What does it resemble?

  653. A hand? Right hand? Now? I want you shake hands

  654. with ni gloff. Hey, you shake hand with ah? Correct? Oh,

  655. it feels good. Shaking his head? Why not? It's a

  656. shape over hand? Mah, it's it's lighter. It's that he's

  657. not doing anything, right, Hey, let me give you a message.

  658. I'm there. Wrong, you feel good? Ned you should not?

  659. The glove is working not good? Right? Why are shape

  660. over hand? What? Hey? Let me try now? Sorry, he asked.

  661. What the hands take a while of going? Okay, okay,

  662. now there is something inside the glove. Okay, now let's

  663. shake hands. Okay, good god, massage massage okay, feels good.

  664. Ah ah okay, but why is it different from the glove.

  665. It now feels like you're shaking a real hand, right Okay,

  666. Oh so I'm thinking that you can never see Let's

  667. give him a hand pun intended. Okay, some of you

  668. didn't catch it. Never mind, What does this illustration mean?

  669. I want to tell you this. Imagine that you are

  670. the glove on your own. There's really no power, no substance,

  671. but you see, Imagine that you are the vessel, the glove,

  672. and God comes in. Suddenly there's substance. Sally, that's strength

  673. and power. The grip is there. Sally, when you massage,

  674. people feel relieved, relaxed. I want to tell you this

  675. that even though the external what you see is the

  676. glurve and not my hand, isn't that the same with God?

  677. That people see us and not God. So that means

  678. that God if God, If we are the glove and

  679. God is the hand, that means God wants to work

  680. through us. And the good news is this, It is

  681. not our own strength, because the glove alone can't do anything,

  682. but it is the Lord's hand at work, and we

  683. are purely the vessel used by God to touch lives,

  684. to impact communities. This is what it means when we

  685. say we are saved for good works. It is not

  686. by our own strength, but it's in partnership with the

  687. Holy Spirit. Can you believe with this hand you can

  688. pray for healing and people get saved, get healed again,

  689. not by your own anointing or your own old strength

  690. of wisdom. It is true the Lord. Can you believe

  691. then when you when someone is down, you go and

  692. talk to the person that the Holy Spirit is walking

  693. through you and out of your self. Here comes world

  694. of life that's not of you, but of the Lord.

  695. And that's my encouragement to you friends. We're safe by

  696. grades true faith and what the privilege that we get

  697. to do good works for the Lord. And we are

  698. saved for good works. It's not for ourselves to keep.

  699. We are meant to make a difference.

  700. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
