  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. But today's my message is choose God and choose life. Okay,

  4. and I want us to read this verse together.

  5. How many have you got your bibles? Any Sharon got

  6. new bible already?

  7. Ah, pasisenda, give you a new bible.

  8. Okay, show me your bibles.

  9. Come on, we still want to bring your own bible

  10. to church because if at home, you don't have chance

  11. to flip your bible, at least on Sunday.

  12. Once you get to flip your bible.

  13. Okay, let's turn to Deuteronomy, chapter thirty, verse eleven to twenty.

  14. Once your day can say, Amen, eron still with me?

  15. You are you encouraged.

  16. By what you hear what's happening in our other churches?

  17. I mean God is, God is working, God is moved.

  18. I mean I also encouraged to hear about what IPG

  19. is doing is amazing the teachers. I mean you hear

  20. from like Qui more quiet to meet girls like Angeli.

  21. One of the girls that Angeli. I tell you she's

  22. she's really making waves where she is Whaila Pila, I

  23. don't even know where that is, okay, very far away.

  24. But her students she's a teacher now, she's a graduate

  25. from IPG and students are like knocking on her door

  26. a now soon, like they want to know about her. God,

  27. that's the latest testimony. She was like, she's so tired,

  28. she doesn't want her to come, but she's looking. They

  29. invited the bright Kentucky. She can all come to her

  30. house to hear from her, to spend time with her,

  31. and one thing to know about Christ. Because she shit,

  32. I don't know they hurt her testimony somewhere. But yeah,

  33. these are our teachers. Okay, are you there? I give

  34. you some time to find Yeah, all right, let's read it, amen.

  35. But eleven says, for this commandment which I command you

  36. today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it

  37. far off. It is not in heaven that you should say,

  38. who will ascend into heaven for us and bring it

  39. to us that we may hear it and do it?

  40. Nor is it beyond the.

  41. Sea that you should say, who will go over the

  42. sea for us and bring it to us that we

  43. may hear it and do it. But the word is

  44. very near you, in your mouth and in your heart.

  45. That you may do it Verse fifteen. Sea I said

  46. before you today life and good, death and evil. In

  47. that I command you today to love the Lord your God,

  48. to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments,

  49. his statues, his judgments, and you may live and multiply,

  50. And the Lord your God will bless you in the

  51. land which you go to possess verse seventeen. But if

  52. your heart turns away so that you do not hear,

  53. and are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them,

  54. I announce to you today that you shall surely perish.

  55. You should not prolong your days in the land which

  56. you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.

  57. Nine.

  58. I call Heaven and Earth as witnesses today against you

  59. that I've set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore,

  60. choose life, that both you and your descendants may live,

  61. that you may love the Lord your God, that you

  62. may obey his voice, and that you may cling to

  63. him for his your life and the length of your days.

  64. And that you may dwell in the land.

  65. Which the Lord swore to your father's to Abraham, Isaac

  66. and Jacob, and give them Man God bless the reading

  67. of his world. Now I shows this passage because I

  68. want us to hear. You know, I shared a bit

  69. of Chiang Mai and a lot of testimonies that came

  70. out from me, But this one that's very significant and

  71. one that's very close to my heart is well, I

  72. want you to hear the testimony from this precious person.

  73. Actually a couple of testimony, but the wife will be

  74. sharing because they went through one of the most painful

  75. and challenging times of their lives.

  76. That's far Is it right to say that?

  77. Yeah?

  78. This year especially, the wife gave away the picture spoiler,

  79. and yet in the pain in the grief, it's okay

  80. ken can can can't put a picture.

  81. And yet in the pain in the grief, in.

  82. The unplanned expenditure expenses that they come up with, they

  83. chose to choose God, they chose life. And I want

  84. you to hear because there's nothing more powerful than hearing

  85. a personal testimony. I can share, you know, I can

  86. read the Bible verses on and on, but he hear

  87. it from someone who's experienced God, experienced life.

  88. So come on, at all, why don't you share your story?

  89. Whom?

  90. Hi?

  91. Everyone, I'm at all from KK seven Richard and Albert

  92. so happened to be my homes leader. So in December

  93. last year, after Christmas, my husband and my husband Roy

  94. and I were we found out that we were expecting

  95. our first child. And for me, it was a little

  96. bit unexpected because we only started trying for a short while.

  97. We were not us but we're happy and joyful for

  98. this precious gift that God has given to us. So

  99. I thought it was the best Christmas gift I've ever

  100. received in my whole life. So for the first trimester

  101. I went to the clinic for prenatal checks or was okay.

  102. But in March, at week thirteen of my pregnancy, right

  103. after my first trimester, I went to a hospital for

  104. my first prenatal check. The guyany, the Guyanny noticed something

  105. was wrong and immediately sent us to a Fitter medicine specialist.

  106. So the specialist told us that our baby has a

  107. condition known as hydrops. Fitter lists so it's a severe

  108. feather condition where fluid is accumulated in the baby's body

  109. making it swell up and upon further checking, it is

  110. shown that the baby's heart was not formed properly, among

  111. other issues. So all these are due to most likely

  112. due to genetic issues, so as such, I would most

  113. likely not be able to carry my baby to futum.

  114. Even if I did, the baby will likely not survive

  115. long after birth or it will be a severely disabled child.

  116. So due to.

  117. The poor prognosis, we were told to terminate the pregnancy.

  118. Of course, our hearts broke. We share the news with

  119. our parents as well as our homes leader Rachel Albert

  120. and Pastor Sandra, and of course everyone prayed for us.

  121. We talk about a week to pray and I was

  122. begging God to heal my child. In the meantime, we

  123. consulted another Guyanea, and she also gave the same unservices

  124. to terminate. So after a week we went back to

  125. see my first guyane I was praying my heart that

  126. you know my child is healed the ultrasound. But then

  127. also at the same time, I told God that if

  128. the ultrasound scanced you show the same issue, then I'll

  129. follow the doctor's recommendation to we of Coursa. I was

  130. hoping for something else. Unfortunately, the scans still show the

  131. same result, so with an extremely havy heart, we chose

  132. to terminate the pregnancy. So on March ten this year,

  133. I lost my first chart. When I received the bad

  134. news from the specialist, I was devastated, but at the

  135. same time, I put my trust in God. In my heart,

  136. two words kept repeating itself. Choose God. Whatever the choice

  137. is to terminate or not to terminate, choose God. So

  138. even though the whole medical termination termination was rather brutal

  139. and traumatic, I will spare you the gory details, I

  140. have to kind of naturally give birth to the baby.

  141. But then, even though it was bad, but I believe

  142. that God sustained us and we were rather calm and

  143. to a certain extent peaceful. After the medical procedure, I

  144. went through the wildest color coaster right of my life.

  145. Even though I choose God, I still went through many

  146. chi others. I had to deal with a huge mixture

  147. of negative emotions pain, grief, hurt, guilt, and confusion. I

  148. was also feeling hopeless and broken by the choice I

  149. had to make. I was so ashamed because I felt

  150. like I murdered my own child, the gift that God

  151. gave me. I couldn't face God and I wanted to

  152. hide myself away. But my homes and harder leader Richard

  153. n told me not to run away from God. The

  154. more we feel like running away, the more we should

  155. run towards Him. And so I came before God and

  156. I pour out my heart to him. I told him

  157. how I felt, and I asked for forgiveness for the

  158. choice I had to make, which is to terminate the pregnancy.

  159. This whole year, in different stages and seasons, God actually

  160. taught me many valuable lessons, which each lessons has his

  161. own mini story. So it's a long story which I

  162. hope I get to share with you another day hopefully.

  163. But in summary, throughout this year, I felt God's love

  164. for me. He brought me to a journey of experiencing

  165. his love, faithfulness, hope, and grace. He also taught me

  166. to summit and surrender to Him and trust him completely

  167. with my life. It hasn't been an easy journey. I

  168. was very depressed for a very long time, to the

  169. point where I refused to get out of the house

  170. unless it is absolutely necessary, and I was even considering

  171. seeking professional counseling. Many times I questioned God and doubted him.

  172. I often wonder why this whole incident has to happen

  173. to me, But oh God is gracious, and over and

  174. over again I experienced his patient teaching and guidance in

  175. my life. Through this journey, I see that my faith

  176. in God is deepened and my relationship with Him is closer.

  177. So how does this tie into Changmi? So shortly after

  178. my medical procedure in March, Roy saw the registration form

  179. for various mission trips. He noticed that the trip to

  180. Changmi coincided with my year end school holiday. For context,

  181. I'm a teacher, so I can only travel during school holiday,

  182. So it happened that the trip was at the beginning

  183. of my school holiday, so he wanted to sign up

  184. for it. Oh, at the same time, our homes actually

  185. adopted Chiang Mai uh. So he wanted to sign up

  186. for it. But I was a bit hesitant because at

  187. the time I felt I wasn't in the right place

  188. to go and minister to people because I was still

  189. very depressed. Actually, throughout the whole year. Right after we

  190. sign up, a lot of time I wanted to pull out.

  191. Then I remember I told Rachel Albert about it. Then

  192. I didn't there already. I scared Albert throw his dumble

  193. me kidding, kidding, king, But yes, I didn't. So anyways,

  194. we sign up, I mean he he convinced me to

  195. sign up last, so eventually I did, so we sign

  196. up in the end. So around October, during our first

  197. mission meeting, we were told to prepare a testimony to share,

  198. and immediately I felt a strong prompting from God to

  199. share this story. Our shock horrified even and I started

  200. arguing with God. It didn't make sense to me. Who

  201. wants to hear such a sad story? Right? And at

  202. the same time, it was a very personal and painful

  203. journey for me, and it was and still is hard

  204. for me to talk about it. So I had a

  205. very long argument with God, and the Gideon in me

  206. is asking God for confirmation. After confirmation, he gave it

  207. again and again through various people, and so, of course,

  208. without much surprise, I lost the argument, of course, and

  209. I submitted to God's instruction to tell the story. So

  210. up until the day I was due to share the testimony,

  211. which was during the service Sunday service in Chang Mai,

  212. I was very nervous and I was still questioning God.

  213. I was afraid that the prompting I felt was forced

  214. and it was all just my imagination. Moreover, I taught

  215. sharing such a sad story is a taboo and a discouragement. Somehow, somehow,

  216. somewhere did in my heart. I just felt that someone

  217. needed to be reminded of God's great love, hope, faithfulness

  218. and grace for us, even in the midst of a

  219. huge storm. And so I pluck up all my courage

  220. and I shared my testimony. So after the service, we

  221. had a session with the young families there, and one

  222. of the sisters open up and shared about her struggles

  223. of one thing to serve God, but illness was preventing

  224. her from doing so. She shared about how she felt

  225. so lost and hopeless about being ill and in pain.

  226. As she shared, I heard the Lord say to me,

  227. this is the reason why I wanted you to share

  228. your story right there. And then I thank God with

  229. all my heart that I obeyed. Later on that night,

  230. during the barbecue party which Rachel showed us now at

  231. one of the partner's house, I had the opportunity to

  232. encourage her using my story and reminding her of God's

  233. love for us, and we pray for her, and I

  234. praise God again and again that I was given the

  235. opportunity to minister to her. I'm not perfect. Of course,

  236. I still question God. I still argue with him obviously

  237. until today. I still grieve for the child that I lost.

  238. So Roy and I have been trying for some time

  239. to have another child, and the journey hasn't been easy either.

  240. I would get impatient and at times I wanted to

  241. give up, but I would hear God challenge me to

  242. trust in him completely and to turn my eyes upon him.

  243. I also learned to be content with my current life

  244. and live in the present instead of the past. In

  245. Philippins chapter four, the oppostle Paul reminded us to be

  246. content in every situation through the strength provided by God.

  247. I'm surrounded by many people who love me. They celebrate

  248. with me when the days are good, and they pray

  249. for me and encourage me when the day days are hard.

  250. As such, I am content. So instead of listening to

  251. the world, God is challenging me to listen to Him,

  252. abide in him, and wait upon Him. In Ecclesiasts, chapter three,

  253. verse eleven, I got it right, I got it wrong.

  254. In Changmi Okay, it says that God has made everything

  255. beautiful in its time. I see these in various lessons

  256. he patiently taught me throughout this year, and his divine

  257. arrangement for me to go to Changmi and minister to

  258. that one sister there. I marveled at how God turned

  259. my battles into blessings for others. As such, I continue

  260. to choose to trust God and He's perfect timing, and

  261. when the time is right and everything comes together, I

  262. know that it will be beautiful. Going on the mission

  263. trip was really eye opening. I was preparing myself to

  264. minister to the people in chiang Mai. Who knows it

  265. was the other way around. I felt I was ministered

  266. to buy them more than I minister to them. I

  267. see the passion and the love that have for good

  268. and the community around them, and it was so inspiring

  269. to see how they put in there all to spread

  270. God's word and love. Whatever they have they gave, just

  271. like the first church in the Book of Acts. I

  272. was so touched by the work they were doing, and

  273. I thank God for sending me there to see all

  274. these And somehow this trip has also become part of

  275. my healing journey. And so in conclusion, all that is

  276. said and done is to choose God and trust God

  277. in every season of your life, good or bad, whether

  278. it makes sense or not, always choose God, trust him

  279. and obey him because nothing will go wrong when you

  280. choose God and go in the direction that he tells

  281. you to go. You may not see the big picture now,

  282. but when you do trust me, it is going to

  283. be so beautiful. And also sign up for missions public

  284. service announcement. You will be blessed more than you can

  285. ever imagine when you step off your comfort zone and

  286. do God's work.

  287. May all go already onto God. Thank you, Yeah, man,

  288. a man is so good. Thank you for sharing. Thought

  289. I didn't get to hear it. There's a testimony in

  290. Changwai when she shared because I was with the kids,

  291. of because I read it beforehand. But it's it's so God.

  292. It's so good, isn't it. God knows. God knows before

  293. we do anything. Ah, And he's yeah, he's just out

  294. to to minister to us, to bless us, to heal us.

  295. And like she said, you know, I mean she said, yeah,

  296. she's more minister too. But hey, the lady there was

  297. also minister to the church. Was also encouraged because you know,

  298. they have every right and every excuse to not even

  299. go right going through this, but yeah, it's so good.

  300. And I told her after she shared as many ature,

  301. I can do auto call and close the services here,

  302. y'all go for lunch.

  303. No, but I will just close us with four points?

  304. Is that? Okay?

  305. Drawing from her story and from from God's word and

  306. these four points is really on how do we choose

  307. God daily and in every moment of our lives?

  308. You know?

  309. And and I think these points are so basic. You know,

  310. it's our words who have been in the faith. I

  311. know all this ready, Rachel, don't need to tell me,

  312. but we sometimes you know it, but we don't live it.

  313. We need to live it.

  314. And I want to remind us to live it. And

  315. we can't get the fundamentals right right? How do we

  316. how do we move on to greater things? Okay, so

  317. let's start off with the first point? How do we

  318. choose God? Number one simple? Love the Lord your God.

  319. It says in verse fifteen. Right. See, I said before

  320. you today life and good, death and evil, and then

  321. I command you today to love the Lord your God,

  322. to walk in his ways. The first thing is to love,

  323. to love God? And how do we love him? It

  324. really is in that next part of the verse, love

  325. the Lord your God, to walk in his ways and

  326. to keep his commandments. I think when we love, when

  327. we love someone, not those of you who are I

  328. don't think anyone your dating are mostly marriedly, those are

  329. Marriadly you remember days when you or maybe we don't know, Yeah,

  330. maybe we don't know. Get those are day thing. Those

  331. who used to date hopefully still day thing.

  332. You're married.

  333. But when you love someone, you want to hear from them, right,

  334. You want to hear what they have to say. Those

  335. you remember those days, like checking messages or someone's.

  336. Way back checking.

  337. Oh what did he say in the email? Or snail mail?

  338. It's not maybe snail mail writ thing Passengerys say you

  339. used to write letters? Oh yeah, you guys now writes

  340. what's a letter? The only time you write is actually

  341. in school, So I don't know whether you're writing now.

  342. Everything left up really stems and stems. But we want

  343. to hear from our love one. Right, someone we love,

  344. we want to hear what they have to say. So

  345. excited message coming or what do they say? Nixt And

  346. I believe it's the same for God. Right do we

  347. love his words? We say, bring your own Bible.

  348. Do we love his word? This is his love letter

  349. to us church.

  350. Everything about our lives, everything that He thinks of us,

  351. is all in here. And if we really love him,

  352. if we really love our God, we will love his word.

  353. It's not a natural thing. I know, it's tough. It's

  354. probably the toughest thing for all of us. It's believe

  355. us to set the saight time to read his word daily.

  356. It is so hard. Why because this this is spiritual warfare.

  357. This is this is the world and the enemy trying

  358. to steal the gift that God has given us his word,

  359. and everything around us will district us from this. By

  360. my encouragement as to enter into the new year as well,

  361. can we really love him and love his word. I

  362. want all of us to go deep. Don't just depend

  363. on what you hear here. That's why it's not enough.

  364. It's not enough.

  365. Whatever you hear from the pulpit, whatever you hear online

  366. is it's just not enough.

  367. You need to discover God's word on your own, okay,

  368. and to not only love his word, but to really

  369. keep his commandments.

  370. Everything is in here, amen. I hope you're excited to

  371. read it every day.

  372. Uh?

  373. And really ask God, Lord, reveal, make make your word

  374. exciting to me.

  375. Yeah? Amen, And tell you what.

  376. Ever, since I started needing to preach, and also actually

  377. since I started, you know, really wanting to reach out

  378. to my colleagues, et cetera, then his word actually becomes

  379. even more because now it's not just for me. I

  380. need a double portion for me, Lord, and then for

  381. someone else. What can I draw from your word for

  382. someone else? And I think if you take that approach

  383. and you're thinking about the people you love, you know,

  384. then God's work becomes even more excited. Think, O, God,

  385. I need something for that person who's hurting. I need

  386. something for that person who's unwell, who is hopeless. Okay,

  387. that's point number one. Love the Lord your God, keep

  388. his commandments.

  389. Number two.

  390. It's the next part of that verse, in verse nineteen

  391. and twenty. I call heaven and Earth as witnesses today

  392. against you that I've said before you, life and death again,

  393. blessing and cursing there for truse life, that both you

  394. and your descendants may live, that you may again love

  395. the Lord your God, that you may obey his voice.

  396. Are we even hearing his voice?

  397. Right?

  398. Can come in different forms, reading his word through that

  399. still small voice. Like Ethelshad, she had that Oka is

  400. a strong prompting, but it's that still small voice of

  401. God telling her to do this, and she still got

  402. a confirmations through other people through I think pastors pacedoniel

  403. they're speaking something was confirmation for her, and then me

  404. also prompting her, Hey, maybe I think you should share

  405. that testimony was another confirmation.

  406. So God uses people around us to also speak to us.

  407. Right, sometimes we don't know they I really hear God correctly,

  408. but his word will confirming.

  409. Your leaders will confirm it.

  410. People around you, your your wife's counsel, godly counsel around

  411. you will confirm it. Someone's get visions, someone's getting impressions.

  412. You know, something's just gentle assurance. God, I know you

  413. love me, You're here from me, It's gonna be okay.

  414. And in fact, many times He will confirm things to

  415. us by different different means, several means. We just need

  416. to to look out for it and be sensitive and yeah,

  417. and after that it's whether we'll walk in obedience. Right,

  418. we hear his voice, and I think I spoke quite

  419. some time ago, many months ago, about the word hearing.

  420. Shamah.

  421. If I remember the Hebrew hearing his voice, It's not

  422. just oh, here I heard a sound, but it's here,

  423. and do here, and do the Hebrew words here and

  424. do so you hear it, you obeyed. It has to

  425. come together. It cannot be I just hear and then

  426. I walk away. Now I hear and obey his voice.

  427. And you know, Eta had no clue, right, she said,

  428. she didn't know why, why is this even important? Who

  429. wants to hear my set depressing story? But someone needed

  430. to hear it. God at least showed her one lady

  431. who needed to hear it. But I'm sure there were

  432. many more in the church that you know didn't speak

  433. out or didn't have the opportunity to say it.

  434. But she had.

  435. And even through that night, I said, we had.

  436. Patty barbecue, eating really good food.

  437. But we also had a time of ministry.

  438. And it was even through that that Ethel got to

  439. share even more because we started, I don't know, we

  440. start worshiping and then and then it was like almost

  441. like okay, let's start cleaning up. But the Holy Spirit

  442. also prompted me to encourage the church. So I had

  443. a word for the church and then Pace also had

  444. a word bag. And then suddenly it was like, okay,

  445. Holy Spirit gave me a second chance. Now I need

  446. to say it, because again Holy Spirit was speaking to

  447. her right prompting her to say something and encourage the lady.

  448. But a lot of times we were like maybe not,

  449. maybe I hurt only or you know, a bit scared.

  450. But since we were already like in a circle and

  451. in different wentces of was sharing and She's like, okay,

  452. now's my time. God, I know you want me to speak,

  453. and so she she shared again another word of encouragement

  454. for the lady, and the whole church all of us

  455. just came around her and prayed over her life. But yeah,

  456. being hearing his voice and then we see how God

  457. works through us and in us.

  458. Amen.

  459. And Ethel said it was also part of her healing process.

  460. She's releasing healing to others and God is also healing her.

  461. How beautiful is that?

  462. Right?

  463. But it took her obedience and trust in Him to

  464. do it. My third point verse twenty right, verse twenty

  465. what did they say? Yeah, you have it highlighted there

  466. and the Lord oh sorry wrong wrong? Verse twenty twenty

  467. that you may love the Lord, your God, that you

  468. may obey his voice, and that you may cling to

  469. him as my third point, cling to him. Just as

  470. Eta Roy clung to God in a painful and desperate situation,

  471. we can also do the same. And we think about it, Actually,

  472. who else can weaking to? Our spouse, our parents, our kids,

  473. our best friends, our friends, our jobs, our ministry, nothing,

  474. there's nothing. There's no one else that we can cling

  475. to that will never fail us. Right, He's the only one.

  476. When we cling to, we'll never be disappointed. Yeah, maybe

  477. there's a season of waiting, maybe there is some waiting,

  478. but he will never fail us. And even though when

  479. we think he is or God, are you late?

  480. Are you being slow?

  481. But he knows, he sees the whole picture. Really right,

  482. time is nothing to him. He's just he already knows

  483. the beginning and the end, and he knows what he's doing. So,

  484. you know, he knows our future we don't, and he

  485. knows what we need, and he knows, you know, in

  486. all those seasons, he knows the exact thing that we

  487. need to grow, to grow in our faith, to get

  488. closer to Him. He reveals things in our hearts through

  489. the situations, so I want to say so, I guarantee

  490. you you will experience life and life more budantly if

  491. you cling to God.

  492. Amen. Amen. And my fourth point.

  493. Joshua chapter twenty four, I want us to go to

  494. the Joshua twenty four, verse fifteen.

  495. Yeah, you can read it there.

  496. And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord,

  497. choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. Some

  498. of you noticed was whether the gods which your father

  499. serve that we're on the other side of the river,

  500. or the gods of the emirates in whose land you dwell.

  501. But for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Amen.

  502. Weirs declare that right when we do house blessing, and

  503. you know things like that, it's for me and my house.

  504. We will serve the Lord. How do we choose him?

  505. How do we choose life?

  506. Life?

  507. Is by serving him? And you know when when royn

  508. Etta told us, hey, we sign up for all missions,

  509. it was right after they got the news from the

  510. doctors to terminate. It was the very I came remember

  511. a very next week or the very next few days,

  512. like that weekend, and I'm like, what it'll be the

  513. last thing on your mind, you know, going for missions,

  514. but within mails overjoyed and encourage because I know that

  515. God is working even in that situation.

  516. And as a family unit, they chose to serve God

  517. even when.

  518. They were disappointed, they were let down, they were mourning,

  519. they were grieving, but they chose to serve God no

  520. matter the circumstance. How many of us can do the same,

  521. you know. Yeah, it's not easy, but it helps when

  522. you have the community around you. You have your homies,

  523. you have your leaders just to encourage you and don't

  524. spur you on.

  525. But we didn't.

  526. We didn't.

  527. We didn't ask them, probably wouldn't cross I might even

  528. do ask them, you know, but they would ones like, hey,

  529. we sign up, you have yours. We haven't even signed

  530. up yet at that time, and we usually go every year,

  531. but we hadn't yet, but they said, yeah, you want

  532. to come with us, Like okay, let's go, you know,

  533. and yeah, it's really ron at though. It's a legacy

  534. that you get to share with your future children. And

  535. and you know, your child in heaven as well will

  536. hear this story when we get there. We will meet

  537. that child in heaven.

  538. Amen.

  539. That's the hope we have in Christ.

  540. And when you choose to serve God, it's not uh,

  541. it's not about just about serving human is convenient when

  542. we have plenty right, when we have everyone that you

  543. need to interact with, you can click with the nice

  544. and easy to work with all of our serving say amen,

  545. we all have had our frictions, our disagreements, our misunderstandings.

  546. But yeah, it shouldn't be the onlyest have got. When

  547. it's easy to work with everybody. What if I have

  548. the most difficult team to work with, all different from me,

  549. different personality, DSc different.

  550. Yeah, and you know right after again, it's not just grieving.

  551. It's a lot of money spent. I had to ask

  552. I to confirm it. I thought yesterday, how much did

  553. she spend? I'm telling you is thousands? Okay, the medical bills,

  554. the confinement. I'm not talking to three thousands. I'm talking

  555. about more than ten thousands. And you would think in

  556. the natural, it's like, okay, now and you start saving

  557. up again, don't go anywhere, don't travel, stay home.

  558. Save up.

  559. But the first thing they did after the news is

  560. signed up for missions. And this is one of the

  561. most more expens mission trips compared to you know that,

  562. not the local ones. Me and mind sang one of

  563. the more expensive trips. That's why I was so encouraged.

  564. While you're really not looking at your situation at all.

  565. You're just trusting God because you heard his voice and

  566. you have a heart light of desire, you know, to.

  567. Do God's work.

  568. Yeah, so why doesn't make any sense?

  569. Right?

  570. Doesn't make any sense.

  571. They should be resting at home, they should be saving

  572. up again what they lost, but they still choose to

  573. serve their God and they didn't hesitate at all. And

  574. I believe the reward is even greater than what they

  575. can ask or imagine and think about it. This is

  576. just on earth, on earth, so God gives us these

  577. little rewards and you all blessings. But in heaven, in heaven,

  578. it's going to be even more glorious and beautiful. We

  579. can't even imagine it now. But choose, choose God, Choose

  580. to serve him, Choose to love him, Choose to cling

  581. to him no matter what you're going through.

  582. And I'll just and I think with this it won't

  583. take it too long.

  584. But in Matthew chapter six, verse twenty four, it says

  585. no one can serve two masters. This is talking about

  586. serving God right. No one can serve two masters. For

  587. slave will either hate the one and love the other,

  588. or be devoted to the one and despise the other.

  589. You cannot serve God and wealth. We are quite like

  590. well when we hear this verse on because it's one

  591. of the things that you know can really hit us.

  592. It's only one master. We cannot be enslaved by the

  593. God of money. And if we serve God wholeheartedly right,

  594. money will not have a hole on our hearts. The

  595. decisions we make will not be based on money. We

  596. will not depend on how much we have or how

  597. much we don't have. And sometimes for some of us

  598. who have been in the faith longer, sunless that's that

  599. is one of the hindrances from experiencing God's fullness and

  600. that abundant life is because there's still that, it's that

  601. whole we sometimes you don't want to admit it, but

  602. it's there. But if we really love God and trust

  603. him and cling to him, right, your money is just

  604. I think that God can he can give any time he.

  605. Can, You'll get it back.

  606. It will come back the last week person and also

  607. was like, don't need to coplate last what was it Coley? What?

  608. Oh burgirl?

  609. Right?

  610. The sauce dough to pay for ketchup? But yeah, one master.

  611. Let's all have just one master. Let's just God. I mean,

  612. when we go to heaven, what's money and what's goal?

  613. Right?

  614. We all know goal would be what you're stepping on.

  615. It's the least least valuable thing in heaven. The gates

  616. are pulls, everything are precious stones. God's currency is different,

  617. you know. It's obedience is serving him. Man. Sorry, prayer

  618. as a church, well when it comes to topic of money,

  619. I pray we move on from there. We leave any

  620. baggage and hurts behind as well, focus on what's important.

  621. Let's serve God with all our hearts. Amen.

  622. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
