  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. You know, I want to tell you a story, and

  4. this is how it began. And he starts off with

  5. He starts off with Zacharias, all right, and the Angel

  6. appearing to Zachariast, the Angel announcing the what's going to come,

  7. that John was going to be born, and what was

  8. John's purpose? Preparation? So you see, when when Jesus came,

  9. God had already prepared the world to receive him. You see,

  10. when God does things, he doesn't do things flippantly. He

  11. prepares way in advance. He in fact, the pre preparation

  12. for Jesus coming was not when the Angel appeared to Zacharias.

  13. In fact, the preparation for Jesus coming was announced in

  14. Genesis chapter two. I believe, is that right? I will

  15. put enmity between you between your seed and he. Let

  16. me just turn to that. Let me get the correct verse. Yes,

  17. it's chapter three, verse fifteen, and says I will put

  18. enmity between you and the woman, between your seed and

  19. her seed, the seed her seed. The word is in

  20. the capital letters because it is referring to Jesus. So

  21. God began by preparing the world to receive his gift

  22. almost immediately when we needed it. God doesn't wait. Now

  23. you may think God waits because it took like about

  24. what four thousand and five thousand and six thousand years

  25. before Jesus was born after that incident. But you've got

  26. to understand one thing. As far as God was concerned,

  27. it was only a week. The Bible says that with God,

  28. one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand

  29. years as one day. So you know, imagine that that

  30. God actually acted quite fast. Unfortunately for us, we don't

  31. have the length of years like God, not yet any way.

  32. So I want to tell you something about preparation with

  33. with the testimony. God is interested in your life and

  34. my life, and the lives or the lives of our

  35. our loved ones, and sometimes he prepares us for pretty

  36. tough stuff. I'm going to share you a testimony about

  37. my daughter, My daughter Ashley, she is a teacher in

  38. an international school in Kazakhstan, and over there she she

  39. was having a medical issue, and the medical issue was goiter.

  40. Goiter is the tyroid gland becoming larger, and so she

  41. went for checkups. And when she told me, when she

  42. told us, actually because she communicates bya she talks and

  43. she writes, and you know, praise God for technology, right,

  44. we get we get the information. So she wrote and

  45. she says, I, I'm going to go for this biopsy

  46. and this test. At the moment she said those words,

  47. God spoke to both Elder Mabel and myself. He spoke

  48. one thing to Elder Mabel. He spoke one thing to me.

  49. To El Mabel, he told her Operation. Now that actually

  50. didn't know all this. Okay, God had already spoken to

  51. my wife Operation, and then he spoke to me and

  52. he said cancer. So we did not share this with

  53. each other because you know, sometimes when God reveals things,

  54. it's not for us to, you know, go and talk

  55. about it, for us to pray about it, for us

  56. to believe him for something. So now the fact that

  57. God said this man that it was going to happen.

  58. Look what would you do when you hear bad news?

  59. Well you have to start confessing the things that God

  60. tells you to confess. So anyway, she went for this

  61. test and all that, and I was in my room

  62. at work when she gave a call and the strange

  63. part about it is when she called to talk to me,

  64. she talked to me first and not to Elde Mabel,

  65. because of course I'm the one who can encourage her,

  66. and of course eld Mabel does encourage her. But you know,

  67. the bad news will come to me first, all right.

  68. So she calls me and at the time she called me,

  69. Pastor passed in front of my door. He never passes

  70. my door ever. And you know, if he passes the door, okay,

  71. he'll pass and he'll walk off you because he passes

  72. very busier past the kennet. He's very busy. He's got

  73. a lot of you know, time is very precious. And

  74. what's amazing is all through this phone call that I

  75. was talking with my daughter, he stayed there in front.

  76. And then she told me that they said there's a

  77. matter of concern and I had been advised to have

  78. the tyroid removed completely, both left and right. And she

  79. says that it is a really concerned situation and it's

  80. been sent to the US for a second opinion, and

  81. the top doctor endochronologists confirmed that it was concerning and

  82. it had to be removed. And in the words in

  83. the report, immediately do not wait the moment you put

  84. down a call Pastor, it's amazing. Here can I talk

  85. to you? So I talked to him and I shared

  86. with him. He said the past I said, don't worry.

  87. We'll pray about it. You know what's the first thing

  88. that came to mind. Don't worry about it. It's not

  89. only just what Pastor said, but that was what is

  90. in my heart and what was it on the Mable's heart.

  91. If you remember a couple of weeks ago, or maybe

  92. a couple of months ago, what does the message I

  93. shared with you. It's going to be okay. It's going

  94. to be okay. And the scripture was that with prayer

  95. and supplication, make known your prayers, your petitions before the Lord,

  96. and the peace of God, which passes all understanding. Will

  97. God your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus peace. Word

  98. peace means much more than quiet, okay. It means healing,

  99. It means prosperity. It means a freedom from chaos, freedom

  100. from a distraught mind. This word piece is loaded. So

  101. this word remained in my heart. And you know, Elder Mable,

  102. in myself were nothing but encouragement to a daughter. And

  103. our words to her was don't worry. It's gonna be okay,

  104. don't worry, it's all taken care of. You believe in Jesus,

  105. it's gonna be It's gonna happen. It's gonna be fine.

  106. This was our encouragement to her. So that was step

  107. number one. Step number two was the insurers in Kazakhstan said,

  108. you know what this operation, you better go back and

  109. do it. So you got people around you to support you.

  110. So that means it had to be done here right,

  111. finding the surgeon who knows how to do this operation.

  112. So I prayed and I say, God, lead me to

  113. the right person. In case you don't know, it's not

  114. just a simple case of removing removing the tyroid, because

  115. when you remove the thyroid, if one wrong slip, you

  116. can't a nerve, the person will not be able to talk,

  117. or if the person talks, they will talk like a frog.

  118. All right, So it's a very delicate operation. A lot

  119. of sensitive stuff going on there. The Lord led me

  120. to a surgeon and I called him, and guess what,

  121. I could not get him. I could not get him

  122. because somehow the hospital was a nightmare to work with.

  123. So you know what I did, I said, I'm not

  124. going to wait for you guys. As far as I know,

  125. this is what the Lord has led me to. I'm going.

  126. I went to the hospital. I sat in front of

  127. the doctor's door, and I said, I'm not moving till

  128. the doctor sees me. So I saw the doctor. He

  129. was so nice. Everything all arranged. My daughter came down,

  130. she did the operation, and all the time while this

  131. was going on, we were telling her it's going to

  132. be okay because God had prepared us. You see, why

  133. couldn't I confess, you'll be healed. Oh, you don't need

  134. the operation, it's it's gone the goiters. Why didn't I

  135. confess that? Well, simply because that's not what God told

  136. me to do. Now, if I had confessed that and

  137. said that and told her no need to go for operation,

  138. what a disaster it would have been. I don't know.

  139. Maybe some people, or some preachers or some men of

  140. God will be able to tell that. But that's not

  141. what God told me. God told my wife operation. He

  142. told me cancer. So what did we pray? Of course,

  143. we prayed for healing, But how does healing come? Well,

  144. the operation took place. My daughter has a cut on

  145. her neck, from this side to decide at least six

  146. inches you can see. And it's very cute because the

  147. teachers have got to beat here and beat here, so

  148. it looks like jewelry, you know. So the thing is

  149. they removed the tyroid. They did the test on it,

  150. and there was a Peppillori carcinoma. There was cancer, and

  151. Praise the Lord, the doctor said, completely removed blood tests.

  152. She's completely okay, she's absolutely fine. I want you to

  153. know that sometimes some stuff happens and we don't realize.

  154. She would never have realized what the real problem was

  155. if she didn't have a goiter. Goiter is the allarging

  156. of the thyroid, which is words unrelated to the tumor

  157. that was found. But you see, the tumor would not

  158. have been found if she did not go and check

  159. up for the goiter. So God in his mercy helped

  160. her and helped us the right confession preparation. So God

  161. was preparing for the birth of Jesus. Okay, all that

  162. from you know, So there you go. Okay, now let's

  163. get back to Luke. Okay. So in in Luke we

  164. find that he that God ministered through the Angel to Zacharias,

  165. and you know that. Of course John was born right,

  166. John was the one who was to make the way

  167. for Jesus, is gonna announce who Jesus was. And of

  168. course John didn't believe. And you know the story. The

  169. angel said, how dare you not believe? Do you know

  170. who I am? When he said I am Gabriel? You

  171. gotta traumatize it. You gotta understand exactly how it was.

  172. You know, the angel was quite do you know who

  173. I am? How dare you disbelieve me? I am Gabriel?

  174. And because you don't believe me, you don't speak? No,

  175. why you don't speak? You don't spread your disbelief. Man,

  176. if you're not gonna say anything, good, don't say anything

  177. at all. You know the song you say it best

  178. when you say nothing at all. I always think that

  179. tell me. But she says, you are you know? So anyway, Yeah,

  180. there you go. So now Gabriel was quite a busy angel,

  181. all right. God had prepared a lot of things for

  182. him to do to prepare his people for the coming

  183. of Jesus. So the next thing he does is he

  184. appears to Mary. And let's see where that is. Yeah,

  185. that is in Chapter one, Chapter one, verse twenty six.

  186. He says, now in the sixth month, the Angel Gabriel

  187. was sent by God to a certain to a city

  188. of Galilee name Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a

  189. man whose name was Joseph of the house of David.

  190. The virgin's name was Mary, And having come in, the

  191. Angel said to her, rejoice, highly favored one. The Lord

  192. is with you. Blessed are you among women. When she

  193. saw him, she was troubled at his saying and considered

  194. what manner of greeting this was. Then the Angel said

  195. to her, do not be afraid, Mary, for you have

  196. found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in

  197. your womb and bring forth a son, and shall call

  198. his name Jesus. And he will be great, and he

  199. will be called a son of the Highest. The Lord

  200. God will give him the throne of his father David,

  201. and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever,

  202. and of his kingdom there will be no end. And

  203. then Mary said, but how can this be? I have

  204. not known a man, I'm a virgin. I haven't slept

  205. with any man. How can this take place? I am

  206. glad there are no young ones, so you understand exactly

  207. what I mean. Then the Angel said, the Holy Spirit

  208. come upon you in the power of the highest will

  209. overshadow you. And therefore also the Holy One who's to

  210. be born will be called the Son of God. Then,

  211. of course, in verse thirty eight, Mary said, behold the

  212. maid servant the Lord. Let it be to me according

  213. to your word. And the Angel departed from her. Now

  214. do you know a that Mary was betrothed to a

  215. man named Joseph. Now when Joseph, Joseph was a just man,

  216. he was a good man. And I want to tell

  217. you something about Mary. Do you realize why it took

  218. so long between I will put an enmity between you

  219. and her seat six thousand years. See, God believes in

  220. getting the situation right, getting everything ready. When you receive

  221. a gift, if somebody gives it to you wrapped in

  222. a newspaper, you like her, what kind of concern do

  223. you think the person gave your gift give you in

  224. wrapping a newspaper. Now, I know guys do not know

  225. how to remove wrapping paper. If you ask me to

  226. remove wrapping paper, it is off the package in two seconds. Wait,

  227. I become the hawk. But if you give a gift

  228. to a lady, you kind of get irritated. I can

  229. go and have a make a cup of coffee. Come

  230. back to wrapping, underpping the paper. No, that's just how

  231. we are. Right. If you're a guy and that's how

  232. you remove wrapping paper, have a talk with me later on. Okay,

  233. because guys don't do that. They rip it off, all right,

  234. But a lady takes time. So the thing is this,

  235. God took time with the wrapping. You know who was

  236. the rapping. You know who wrapped that gift? You know

  237. what was the rapping that gift was in? What was

  238. the gift box? It was Mary. It took God a

  239. few thousand years to find the right candidate. So those

  240. of you that think the rapping is unimportant, God did

  241. not believe. So God believed that the rapping was also

  242. important because he was giving you a precious gift. I mean,

  243. how terrible if Jesus is born through a donkey. You're

  244. not right. The rapping has got to be perfect. And

  245. who did God choose? The Bible says someone who was

  246. highly favored of the Lord. What do you think brings

  247. favor of the Lord? Hey, guys, do you worship the

  248. Lord every day? Worship is the one thing that can

  249. help you solve a lot of issues in your life.

  250. You just have to get down and worship. And you

  251. know what, in the presence of the Lord, what problem

  252. can stay? What problem can remain unresolved if you are

  253. worshiping the Lord every day to preach to give you

  254. this message, I walk for three hours. I walk for

  255. two hours in the morning. You know why, because I

  256. got to get the preparation right. I got to bring

  257. down the presence of the Lord. So it is God

  258. that's speaking and not me. Because if I am the

  259. one speaking, I'm wasting your time. But if you're getting

  260. something that you can use, God is speaking to you,

  261. and it is through the worship. The Lord tells me

  262. what to say. That testimony I gave you just now,

  263. the Lord said to give it to you this morning.

  264. That's why I shed, although I was preparing for a

  265. different message, But that was a testimony that God said

  266. you go share, you know why. So you know that

  267. when tough situations come in your life, firstly, don't panic. Secondly,

  268. realize it's going to be okay. Thirdly, realize that when

  269. you worship the Lord. When you trust God, when you pray,

  270. when you confess the right things, when you realize what

  271. scripture says about the situation, you'll realize it's going to

  272. be okay. So now God send this gift through his

  273. very special rapping called Mary. Now, Mary was betrothed to

  274. a guy by the name of Joseph. Joseph was a

  275. good man. You know. One of the songs that I wrote,

  276. which completed, I let some friends listen to it. They

  277. like it, but you know, it's a love song from

  278. Joseph to Mary? Is it? Because the Lord spoke to me?

  279. The Lord, you know, when how he ministers to me.

  280. I appreciate. I appreciate that Joseph loved Mary. And imagine

  281. what a horrible thing it must have been to realize

  282. that she was expecting. Until that time, no one had

  283. heard of a virgin birth. So if he realized that

  284. Mary was expecting, it was only right for him to

  285. believe that she was fooling around. Mary, where's this child

  286. in you? From both of us? We did nothing wrong,

  287. and that's the worse from the song, you know, and

  288. it troubled him. So you see, there were many aspects

  289. to Jesus coming. So God took care of Mary. Now

  290. he takes chareof Joseph. Joseph was troubled. Did God want

  291. Joseph trouble or one one? Did God want Joseph troubled?

  292. Or did God want Joseph happy and blessed, Happy and blessed.

  293. So he appears to Joseph in a dream and say,

  294. don't worry Joseph. You know Mary of the crop, she's

  295. the cream. That's another verse from the song. All right,

  296. so she was something special. So God told him it's okay,

  297. she's going to bear someone special, and that somebody special

  298. was going to be someone who was going to bear

  299. the countenance of God all the time in his face

  300. and through what he was going to do. He was

  301. going to save the world. So Joseph said, fine, let's

  302. do this. Let's do this, and he took maryes his wife.

  303. The scripture says, did not know her. You gotta understand

  304. what this word means. No, did not know her until

  305. Jesus was born. So now God takes care of Joseph.

  306. Do you realize that God is in the business of

  307. setting things right, and it takes care of every single

  308. issue If you allow him to. Can you imagine if

  309. Joseph said, ah, this is a nightmare instead of a

  310. dream and say no, I will not. Do you think

  311. Jesus would have still been born? Yes, would Joseph. Would

  312. Joseph have been involved? Know who would have missed out

  313. of a blessing? Would have been Joseph. Guys, you and

  314. I got to realize that Jesus coming is really really special.

  315. There's going to be something for everybody. There's going to

  316. be a change for everyone. He's coming impacted people from

  317. the start, even before he made an appearance on earth,

  318. and it continued to make an impact after. So they

  319. had to he married. He married Mary. So as the

  320. story goes on, miss Sea, where was the census? Now

  321. Mary rose in to day city, so magnifies the name

  322. of the lord. So it was in the Eight Day

  323. Child they came. Okay, chapter two, it's going to chapter two.

  324. It came to pass some days of Caesar. Caesar Augustus

  325. called out a census. What's a census counting off the people?

  326. How happy are we nowadays when they come and do

  327. a census? They come to our house. Can you imagine

  328. if you were born somewhere else and they say, oh,

  329. we have to go for a census. You have to

  330. go back to where you were born. It's gonna be tough, man.

  331. Can you imagine the whole country will be crisscrossing everybody

  332. leftic gym. I cannot imagine. All those donkeys must have

  333. been really you know, and then you think what the

  334. road was cleaner? Can you imagine how many hundreds of

  335. donkeys because it would have been really booby trapped, right yeah,

  336. and then the smell would have been terrible. But anyway,

  337. a census was called and Mary and Joseph had to

  338. go back to Bethlehem. And how do you know what?

  339. I was saying that there was a lot of stuff

  340. going on because Hilton and shangri La were full. The

  341. Bible says that every inn was full. Jesus was born

  342. in a parking lot. That's another song. Okay, it's true.

  343. Jesus is born in a parking lot in the stable

  344. was what a parking lot? Pucking lot for donkeys, parking

  345. lot for horses. That's where Jesus was born. It wasn't

  346. the money, not the costs. They couldn't find a decent

  347. place to stay among horses and the cows. Smell of

  348. pooh and not perfume. Jesus was born in a parking lot.

  349. It's a country in Western song. So the thing is this,

  350. you know, the savior of the universe, the sorry, the

  351. savior of mankind, the maker of the universe, the one

  352. who created the universe, humbled himself to be born in

  353. a lowly manger. And you and I we find it

  354. beneath ourselves to go to a church that doesn't have

  355. all the splashy screens, fantastic music and drum sets and

  356. lights flashing everywhere, and we say, oh, if this church

  357. is just one cahna, I don't want to come. But

  358. you see, look at Jesus. Did Jesus despise where he

  359. was born? And you know the ending of that song is,

  360. if you're a child of destiny, it doesn't matter where

  361. you'll be, if your life gets in a twist, just

  362. join everyone who's got a list. It's not the end,

  363. it's just the beginning of the plot. Okay, I'm not

  364. that's not scripture, Okay, But what I'm saying is I'm

  365. saying that it really doesn't matter if you've got a destiny.

  366. This is what Jesus telling us even from his birth.

  367. If you have a destiny, these things don't matter. It

  368. doesn't matter whether you're born in a stable, because I'm

  369. still gonna save this world, whether I'm born in a

  370. stable or born in the hotel. If you've gotta be fussy,

  371. be fussy about the right things, don't be fussy about

  372. the wrong things. What are the fussy about? The right things?

  373. Put God first. You're gonna be fussy, be fussy about

  374. I have to honor the Lord. If you're gonna be fussy,

  375. be fussy about I cannot be late. See. If you're

  376. gonna be fussy, be fussy about the right things, don't

  377. be fussy about the things that don't matter. Whether you've

  378. got a drum set or you got a box, whether

  379. you've got an electric guitar acoustic guitar, whether you got

  380. uh P A or no. Pat all I trust, I'm

  381. telling you the p doesn't work. I'll be talking yes.

  382. So what is it about? What do we have to

  383. be worried about? Nothing? You just trust God, and wherever

  384. your eye it's gonna be okay. Jesus showed us that

  385. did Jesus suffer because he was born among horses and

  386. cows and in the manger did he suffer? No. Mary

  387. and Joseph are quite okay, you know how you know

  388. kind okay because the Bible says the next thing, What

  389. does the Bible say? The Bible says that angels appeared

  390. in the heavens, singing, what glory to God in the

  391. highest and peace to his people. Who did he tell?

  392. Who did they appear to? They appeared to the shepherds.

  393. You know why they didn't appear to the rich men

  394. because the problem with rich men is they tried to

  395. take over. I can't imagine they would have taken over

  396. the sea. They would have charged people for entrance fee

  397. to see the glory that was going on in the sky.

  398. They would have found a way to make money, found

  399. a way to take control. You laugh, but it's true.

  400. How many rich people You don't go to a church

  401. and expect to sweep the floor the moment they go

  402. into church, they expect to be given positions of leadership.

  403. I am now forty seven years as a believer, Yes,

  404. forty seven years. In my forty seven years, I've seen

  405. rotten men try to be leaders in church when they

  406. have not earned that position through service for the Lord

  407. because they want the accolades. But I have also seen

  408. rich men who come and sweep the church themselves. Do

  409. you know that's the way you and I should be.

  410. Have you heard this singer, mylon Lea Fev? I'm sure

  411. you haven't, because he was my time, all right. Mylon

  412. le Fever is a guy who wrote a great Christian song.

  413. Without him, I can't do nothing without him. I surely

  414. fail without him. I'd sure be drifting like a ship

  415. without a sail. Jesus, So Jesus, it's a song that

  416. Elvis sang. Please tell me you know who Elvis is? Now?

  417. This guy he had hair up to hear. Serious, he

  418. had hair up to hear, and he was a drug addict,

  419. but he had a heart that he wrote songs about

  420. Jesus until his wife prayed for him and prayed for him,

  421. and he gave his life over to the Lord. He

  422. gave his life to the Lord. He confessed Jesus Christ,

  423. and after that he changed. This guy was a very

  424. very rich man. In his pocket he takes out bundles

  425. of money. Okay, you know what he did after he

  426. got saved. I am not worth to share the stage

  427. and the mic. I will sweep the church. He became

  428. the church janitor, the richest church janitor you can ever see.

  429. Because hundreds of singers recorded that song. He was making millions.

  430. This was in the seventies the eighties. He was so

  431. in his pocket bundles of money. But he was a

  432. janitor in the church. That is how you know the

  433. heart has changed. I got nothing against rich people, because

  434. you know that there are poor people who also got

  435. a chip on their shoulder. They are poor people who

  436. are also very, very proud, and they use that as

  437. a strength and a crutch with God. No crutches, Okay,

  438. don't stand on ceremony with him except to love him

  439. and worship him. So the angels appeared in the heavens

  440. and in the sky and shine and give glory all,

  441. give God all kinds of glory. I want you to

  442. know that God was excited about the birth of Jesus Christ.

  443. Are you and I excited about the birth of Jesus Christ.

  444. Do you have any idea why we decorate the house.

  445. Do you have any idea why we put lights here

  446. and lights there? Do you understand it is a celebration

  447. that the world knows is the birth of Jesus Christ. Hey,

  448. it's not the real day was born. Okay, it's the

  449. commemorative birth day of Jesus Christ. It's okay because as

  450. far as the whole world is concerned, that's the day

  451. that honors the birth of Jesus. So you and I,

  452. he said, ah, it's not the birthday of Jesus Christ.

  453. So I don't want to decorate. I don't do it

  454. any And you know who is happy that you don't decorate?

  455. You know, I'm not telling you must decorate, okay, but

  456. what I'm saying the attitude. You know who's happy. Guys,

  457. you got children, understand this. I speak this with conviction.

  458. If you decide that you don't want to do anything,

  459. you know who's going to suffer. It's your kids. Do

  460. you know what just happened in Malecca? Have you been reading?

  461. Cannot decorate? Don't decorate. All those with a certain kind

  462. of sign cannot decorate. And then they had to come

  463. on and when they were called out on it, when

  464. the when the government was called out of what did

  465. they say? Oh, no, no, no, no, only the food preparation places.

  466. Who in their right mind decorates the place where you

  467. make food do you think the dummies or what don't

  468. understand you gonna put Christmas tree where oil and all

  469. that going to be come on the reason they were

  470. called out, they had to backtrack. Save face. You and I.

  471. When we don't decorate, when we don't make a big

  472. deal about Christmas, one day somebody will say you cannot

  473. celebrate anymore behind closed doors. Be like BRUNEI are you

  474. and I prepared for that? We are? Okay? You and

  475. I will go. Who do we live that with? We

  476. live there with our kids. We live there with our kids.

  477. My house, we have two trees this year, one inside

  478. one a little bit no the mystery, the mystery I got.

  479. I go one hall there's one tree, and then the

  480. main hall there's another tree. And outside there's a tree

  481. which I made out of pipes and lights and a star.

  482. This tone down, okay, because now I cannot climb so much,

  483. can not so physically active, because those days I put

  484. laser lights and shine on the hill. You know what

  485. I call it? Making a noise? Making a noise. I

  486. want that because my whole row are all cousins, so

  487. I want them to know who I am and what

  488. I do. I make a noise. Now I'm too old

  489. to climb up and put this leg, so I don't

  490. put the laser. But still we decorate. You know what happened?

  491. All the Christians in the neighborhood started to decorate in

  492. a wild way. Guys, it's important. If you think it's

  493. not important, why did God go through all the trouble

  494. of putting out lights in the sky with his angels

  495. singing praises to God. You want to know something. God

  496. made a big deal about Christmas. Do you know that

  497. there were so many things happening during Christmas? So many

  498. things happening about Christmas? Wow, sending angels to tell shepherds,

  499. go and see this great thing, and making a big

  500. deal in the sky when Easter took place, when Jesus

  501. resurrected from the dead, was there this kind of fanfare?

  502. I ask you, was there a fanfare of fantastic things

  503. happening in the sky. One thing is different Christmas. The

  504. birth of Jesus was God's gift to all of mankind.

  505. For God so loved the world that whosoever believes in

  506. him should not perish but have everlasting life. It's the gift.

  507. But Easter, the resurrection is something that you and I

  508. can only experience on a personal basis. It is personally appropriated.

  509. And Jesus was such a great gift that when he

  510. was given, God could not contain his joy. And you

  511. and I we argue over the word Mary. So hard

  512. for us to say Mary Christmas. Look, I'm not I'm

  513. not trying to put I just want us to put

  514. things in proper context and perspective. Don't get caught up

  515. over all these kind of insignificant issues. If you want

  516. to talk about the word Mary, I can tell you

  517. what scripture says about Mary. Mary is an emmy rry.

  518. In Proverbs seventeen twenty two, it says a merry heart

  519. doeth good like a medicine, not a blessed heart. So

  520. those who say blessed Christmas, it's okay, it's fine, you're

  521. wishing a blessing upon somebody. But let me tell you.

  522. The scripture did not say a blessed a blessed heart

  523. doeth good like a medicine. What does it say a

  524. merry heart? You want to you want to have a

  525. medicine from God? Be happy, be joy? Why fool? That's

  526. what scripture says. But a broken spirit. What does it do?

  527. It dries your bones for those of us who grow older,

  528. you know what I mean, as the bones become drier,

  529. becomes harder to move. I mean the time my shoelace

  530. I have to get down my knee and I cannot

  531. bring my foot up. Yeah, I mean, it just happens again.

  532. You young guys are now you know why we wear

  533. those kinds of shoes. This kind of shoeser troublesome. This

  534. is the last time I'm going to buy a pair

  535. of shoes with laces. But anyway, you get what I'm saying. Then,

  536. Remember I said that the world knows what December twenty

  537. fifth is. Do you know that the world is aware,

  538. so the world tries to shut it down. We know

  539. that in certain more in slang or there isn't even

  540. a tree, they're not allowed to do it. You know

  541. what happens to places like this when when when they

  542. do this, you know what, because they feel that they

  543. are doing something against Jesus. You know, you and I

  544. don't understand it. The non Christian understands it that when

  545. they hit out against against Christmas, they're not hitting out

  546. against Santa Claus or Rudolph the red nose Reindia. When

  547. they hit out, who are they hitting out against? You?

  548. Guys gotta know, we gotta know, we gotta be We

  549. are looking after this for our kids, our children, because

  550. they know whom we are celebrating. Me the moment I

  551. know that, I don't go to the malls, those malls

  552. that have a thing against Christmas. I don't go. Why

  553. should I? Do you realize that God is really wise

  554. in what he does? Don't knock the economy of Christmas?

  555. Do you realize that during Christmas season people are blessed

  556. financially because that is the one time in a year

  557. that all over the world economy is bustling. Do you

  558. know that because people are busy buying gifts one So

  559. what if they're buying gifts for one another? Isn't it

  560. good to give a gift to somebody? Yes, you could

  561. say you can give a gift every day, but we're

  562. not like that, isn't it We need a reason? So

  563. what do we do? Christmas is the one time that

  564. people will give gifts to one another. It's okay, let's

  565. not get caught up on the wrong things. So what

  566. if it's helping the economy? Praise the Lord. We all

  567. thank you. We all get blessed. Don't we get blessed

  568. when the economy is blessed? We do. Do you think

  569. any other time of year gets this kind of economic push.

  570. I can tell you it does not. So I I'm

  571. just giving you a different perspectives, Okay, different perspectives. So,

  572. and of course Jesus was born, and I cannot end

  573. without this. You see, the spreading of the knowledge of

  574. Jesus coming was not only centered around Battlehem, all right.

  575. It was also broadcast in the east with a star.

  576. We're off to see the baby in the sky. We

  577. saw the star, quickly jumped on camels because we had

  578. no car. Okay, that's another song I wrote, all right,

  579. because it's Christmas. I've actually did the whole story written

  580. in song, and all this week. I wrote the whole

  581. thing this week. That's how I said. I've actually been

  582. preparing for this message. I did not know bagone you,

  583. because every morning I'd wake up and the song is

  584. in my head. So I go to my computer and

  585. write the song down. All right, Oh way, hurry up,

  586. hurry up, oh way, hurry up, hurry up, oh way,

  587. hurry up, oh way. Oh we off to see the Okay,

  588. So anyway, so the thing is this, all right? The

  589. fact of the matter was that these wise men saw star,

  590. and what did they do. They decided to go and

  591. see him, and they brought gifts gold Frankinson's and muh,

  592. they brought gifts. Uh. They won three wise men. Okay,

  593. there were three kinds of gifts, but they were three

  594. wise men. They were much more. You checked the scripture.

  595. Scripture never says three men, three kings of the east.

  596. There was a whole caravan of them, so much so

  597. that Herod was Herod was shaking. You read the scripture.

  598. So these people came, what did they come to do

  599. to worship? You know? What was the idea? Jesus was

  600. as powerful and worthy of worship as a child as

  601. he is today. That's the that's the message we take

  602. away because people say, oh, Jesus no longer baby. Have

  603. you heard that one before? Why make so much of

  604. us about the songs that sing about when Jesus Mary's boy,

  605. jour Jesus Christ. Why The fact that the matter was

  606. that he was worshiped as a baby, as a child,

  607. even as his worshiped when he grew up. That's the

  608. message we take, and we take that people from so

  609. far away can travel lands to come in worship Jesus,

  610. and we find it so hard to get up out

  611. of bed to come to church on a Sunday morning. Guys,

  612. I'm not here to tell you this is not a

  613. fairy tale. Okay, these are real life lessons from the

  614. Christmas story. Jesus came to show us a new way,

  615. and not only with the things he said, but everything

  616. around him spoke of the kind of attitude and behavior

  617. we are to have towards him. They brought him treasures

  618. of gold, frankincense, and mine. Do you think Jesus was

  619. poor Jesus, don't mistake the fact that Jesus was born

  620. in a manger and that Jesus was poor. Jesus was

  621. not poor, and Joseph was not a beggar. Joseph was

  622. a man of means. He had a successful business. Jesus

  623. had enough of finance put into his hands to take

  624. him through. Guys, what do we learn from that? You

  625. and I we're so concerned about how are we going

  626. to survive, whether we're going to live, whether we're going

  627. to make it. Look at us, take a good look

  628. at us. Are any one of us skinny or not?

  629. Is there anyone who's skinny? Put up her hands. I'm

  630. looking all right, No one, you're skinnier. Okay, we've gotta

  631. work on you. The rest of us are not skinny.

  632. You know why, because God provides you're not skinny. I'll

  633. show you a picture of skinny people. God has been

  634. providing for us the same way he provided for Jesus

  635. when Jesus came. And the Bible says God loves us,

  636. will he not provide a different Christmas story, a different

  637. Christmas message, one that I hope speaks to our hearts.

  638. God doesn't leave us. He provides. He has from the

  639. moment he said, between he said and the woman said,

  640. and in those few godly days he got his plan done. Prepared.

  641. Took a few thousand years for us, but in God's

  642. godly days he was quick. And so when we think

  643. about Christmas, maybe look at all those decorations, the places,

  644. and everything that people do, even in the shopping complexes

  645. or in the hotels. You know what comes to mind,

  646. what should come to our mind? Just how much God

  647. was excited to give this gift. The message to us

  648. is get excited. More people come to the Lord during

  649. Christmas than any other time in the year. You know why,

  650. because Christmas is the time the explosion of God's love. Guys,

  651. there's any one of you here who doesn't know Jesus

  652. Christ as Lord and Savior. Can I speak to you?

  653. Can I tell you that Jesus loves you? And afterwards

  654. I'm gonna ask if you want to receive him. God

  655. had you in mind, He had me in mine when

  656. Jesus gave we hope.

  657. You've been blessed by this message. For more information on
