  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Even as we unpacked the vision. All right, here we go.

  4. So the reason why we are unpacking the vision is

  5. because we are preparing for our team next year.

  6. Anybody knows our team for next year?

  7. Yes, Reviver okay or something along the lines of Reviver

  8. okay and Revival in simple terms basically just means returning

  9. to the way it was meant to be.

  10. Okay.

  11. I think Passa knnot give an anology one of the

  12. videos that he was she shared here about you know,

  13. like when the doctors say that they managed to revive

  14. a person, you know, it's like bringing them back to life,

  15. you know, or bringing them back to the state that

  16. they were they used to be, you know. And so

  17. that is one way in simple terms, that we can

  18. look at Revival, which is coming back to the place

  19. it was meant to be. Uh, you know, back to basics,

  20. you know, back to how God intended it to be,

  21. how it was meant to be and uh. And then's

  22. why we need to bring the entire church on this series,

  23. you know, because I would say that X Church is

  24. not small in the sense of numbers anymore. We're about

  25. a thousand plus in Malaysia alone. But we had many locations,

  26. you know, and so we want to make sure every

  27. single one of us in every of our locations, I

  28. think about thirteen locations or so, that we are all

  29. on the same page. Is that Okay, we're all on

  30. the same page with one heart, one vision, one mind,

  31. one spirit. Uh, that we are united even as we

  32. go where the Lord is leading us.

  33. Okay.

  34. Hence, it's very important that we unpacked this vision so

  35. that we are we can all be on the same page.

  36. Okay, are you following me? All right?

  37. So the reason we unpacked is to understand, okay. And

  38. of course you can open your book. All of the

  39. most of the things that I would say are in

  40. your book, and there will be some blanks which you

  41. will be able to fill up, uh, you know, blank

  42. spaces that you can feel out.

  43. Okay, all right, So we unpacked to understand. Okay.

  44. So we unpacked the vision in in order for us

  45. to understand.

  46. And that is what unpacking is for, you know.

  47. It's about breaking it down, making it simpler so that

  48. everyone can understand and we will do our very best.

  49. Okay. Uh, that is why we need to unpack.

  50. And when we understand, Uh, it's not just for us

  51. to tickle our ears, but it's so that we can undertake.

  52. So that is three us for you unpack, to understand

  53. and to understand, to undertake, or to to carry on

  54. with it or to take on the responsibility.

  55. You know.

  56. And you know when when you unpack your your luggage

  57. at home, let's say you're going where you went for

  58. a trip and you got back home and you unpack

  59. the luggage, you know there's a place for everything, right,

  60. you know, your yourtology goes into your toilet. You know,

  61. maybe I don't know if if you're if you have

  62. a photo fame, it goes on to the wall.

  63. Maybe your dirty clothes goes to the laundry.

  64. There's a place for everything, right when you unpack your

  65. your your things, right, they need to go somewhere. And

  66. so for us, you know that there's a place for everything.

  67. And the unpacking will leaders to seven things. Okay, they're

  68. all in peace, okay, uh, and as they should be

  69. on the screen, okay.

  70. And so the unpacking were leaders to prayer. Okay. Prayer

  71. comes first.

  72. You know, we we seek the Lord the passion, purpose, practice,

  73. prepare or you can call it preparation.

  74. Uh. And plan, you know, plan or plans, imployer.

  75. Uh. You know. So in the weeks to come, in

  76. the months to come, you will here some strategies. You

  77. will hear some numbers. Okay, don't be alarmed. Okay, don't

  78. be afraid, you know, because God is with us.

  79. Amen.

  80. And uh, you know there's a same saying that if

  81. we fail to plan, we plan to fail.

  82. Okay.

  83. So no, we don't want to fail, Okay, especially we

  84. don't want to fail in the things of God. We

  85. want to do well because God is with us, and

  86. he gives us the power.

  87. Amen.

  88. He gives us power of the Holy Spirit to do

  89. all that He has called us as a church to do.

  90. If you believe it, say amen.

  91. All right, okay, so let me begin with the first one,

  92. which is prayer. And today I believe I'm coming just

  93. the five piece because the other parts will come along

  94. the weeks, now, okay, So let's begin with prayer. So

  95. as we unpack, there may be things that we are

  96. not fully clear yet. Okay, because as you know, when

  97. God gives you know a direction, you know, if you

  98. can see in the Bible. So when he led Abram,

  99. he won't tell you everything exactly a to see because

  100. sometimes when we hear it right, we'd be so scared

  101. we say.

  102. God, no, thank you. But you know what, we need prayer.

  103. Because God take us step by step, and if there

  104. is anything that is unclear, or if there's anything that

  105. we have doubt, maybe seek the Lord for an answer.

  106. Amen. That's what prayer is important.

  107. And we need to constantly seek the Lord throughout the

  108. sessions for every answer to the questions in our hearts.

  109. And I believe even as we seek the Lord, he

  110. will give us clarity.

  111. Amen.

  112. With every clarity comes confidence. With confidence, there will be courage.

  113. So maybe some of us you know, I haven't even started,

  114. maybe or a scard, but I pray that you will

  115. be encourage. You know, you know, God is here with us,

  116. and don't be afraid, don't be scared, don't don't be doubtful,

  117. because we can.

  118. We can always pray and we will seek the Lord

  119. for direction. Amen.

  120. So as we unpacked, we are going to start firstly

  121. with the why. Okay, don't you agree with me that

  122. it's very important to understand the why? Okay, the why Okay.

  123. Why we do what we do and say what we

  124. say very important? Okay, So let me begin with passion.

  125. And passion is the word. Okay, Passion is the word. Okay,

  126. follow me, Okay. A vision will never come to pass

  127. if we don't have passion, okay, because we can start right,

  128. but we won't be able to finish and go for

  129. long or go far if we don't have passion in

  130. our hearts.

  131. Passion is what keeps us going, is what fans.

  132. The flame gives us, Fire gives us excitement, you know,

  133. and so many of us, your leaders and partners as well.

  134. You have been serving the Lord, you know almost every week.

  135. What drives you?

  136. You know?

  137. And I believe one of it is passion for the Lord.

  138. And that is why we can do it every week.

  139. We can week out of course we do it as

  140. unto the Lord. But passion is the fire, the excitement

  141. that keeps us going.

  142. And a passion that we have is simple. Listen to this.

  143. I believe, or we believe, that God only has the

  144. best for all of you.

  145. We believe it.

  146. Say amen, God has only the best for all of us,

  147. the best blessings, the best breakthroughs that He has for us.

  148. In fact, he says in John ten ten that I've

  149. come to give them life and life more abundantly, and

  150. write that down John ten ten, I think another version says,

  151. and give them life to the full. And so that

  152. is what God desires for us and He wants for us.

  153. And we truly believe that God has the best for

  154. every one of you. See that here, John ten ten.

  155. And our passion is also that you and I will

  156. live our life to the full, or another way of

  157. saying it is to the possibilities, to the possibilities, because

  158. we want to see every possible thing that God has

  159. plan for us come to pass in our lives. Don't

  160. you want that God has great plans for us. He

  161. has a future and hope for us. And He is

  162. the God of the impossible. So even if you think

  163. that you look at a plan and say, God, I

  164. think it's too bigger, I think it's not possible for me.

  165. I wanted you to know that in God it is possible.

  166. He is a God of possibilities. God is the God

  167. of the impossible. And so we want to see you

  168. live your life to the full, to every possibility that

  169. God has opened for you and for me and Mark.

  170. Chapter nine, verse Trainy Tree says, all things are possible

  171. to those who to those who believe. All things are

  172. possible to those who believe. Amen, And so we believe.

  173. That's our passion. We want to see the impossible done

  174. in your life. Heavy break too. So the next question says,

  175. do you desire a breakthrough life? You know, we don't

  176. just want to believe, but we want to live it out.

  177. We want to leave out the possibilities that God has

  178. for us to discover the things of God and his kingdom,

  179. because the Bible tells us in Matthew six thirty three,

  180. to seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness,

  181. and all these things shall be added unto you. And

  182. the Bible tells us that the secrets belong to those

  183. who fear the Lord. Some twenty five fourteen, Some twenty

  184. five fourteen. And so regardless of how all we become,

  185. you know, we are aging. I have people that you know,

  186. I'm growing older. All of us are growing older. But

  187. I'm too young. And many of you here are also,

  188. you know, of older and age, and I think majority

  189. of you are younger than me. You know, so we're growing.

  190. But the point is that we don't ever want to

  191. stop growing.

  192. Do you agree?

  193. We don't ever want to stop growing, because regardless of

  194. how old or how much we grow in our age,

  195. we can always say, God, I believe there's so much more,

  196. because you are the God of so much more.

  197. There is more to come, There's greater days to come ahead. Amen.

  198. And we must never grow over on the Lord, you know.

  199. But we must continue to press on in the Lord

  200. because there will always be more. And we don't ever

  201. want to grow stagnant in our life, in a personal life,

  202. or even in church. Don't ever stop growing, don't ever

  203. stop learning. And that is our passion and desire for

  204. every single one of you here that you will live

  205. a victorious life because God has given us a break truth,

  206. He has given us every blessing.

  207. Amen. But then we realize.

  208. That it's not just about living a life of possibilities,

  209. but the real reason we do that is because we

  210. want to please God. We want please God. God wants

  211. this for you and for me, He wants every possibility.

  212. But for us it is because we do it because

  213. we want to please God and He has only the

  214. best for us.

  215. This is our purpose. We live to please God. Amen.

  216. And that's the next point, which is purpose, the real

  217. why behind what we do, which is the purpose. So

  218. God wants this for you, He wants the best for you.

  219. In fact, the Bible tells us taste and see that

  220. the Lord is good. Taste and see that the Lord

  221. is good Psalm chapter thirty four, verse eight. You know,

  222. and God has great things to thought for us and policies.

  223. I press on toward the goal for the price of

  224. the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, Philippians three fourteen,

  225. Philippins three fourteen.

  226. So Paul knew.

  227. Paul knew that there was so much more in starting God,

  228. not just for the now, but even for the days

  229. to come, for the future. But we don't have to

  230. wait to taste heaven when you get there, because how

  231. many of you know we can taste heaven here here

  232. on earth. That's why we say God, that you will

  233. be done here on earth as it is in heaven.

  234. We want a little bit, a little taste of heaven

  235. here on earth. And that's why we pray a man.

  236. There's so much more that He has in stought for us.

  237. And so the what is the passion, the why is

  238. the purpose we do it because we want to please

  239. my father and God has the best for us. In

  240. three John chapter the third John, chapter one, verse two says, believed,

  241. I pray that you may prosper in all things and

  242. be in health just as your soul fast. But what

  243. the wonderful verse and I declare it over you right now,

  244. you know, Third John chapter one, verse two, Believe what

  245. I pray, that you may prosper in all things and

  246. be in health just as your soul purpose possible?

  247. Say amen, amen? And so we've done the what.

  248. I've covered the why, and the next part, which is

  249. very important, is the how okay.

  250. Because we want to practice. We want to do what

  251. we learn. Amen.

  252. We don't just want to be here what's of the word,

  253. but we want to be doers of the world. And

  254. so that's the practice, which is the how. Okay, So

  255. let me read it.

  256. First. Passion is the what.

  257. Purpose is the why why we do what we do,

  258. And the practice is the how.

  259. Okay, what will you do with what you know and

  260. what you hear? Okay? That's the practice.

  261. And the best way I can think of is to

  262. break it down, okay, is to.

  263. Is to do it practically. Okay.

  264. The practice of it by breaking it down. And number

  265. one is by applying the word of God and the

  266. promises of God in our lives.

  267. Do you believe that apply the word of God?

  268. Because the Word of God is alive, it is living,

  269. it's active, sharpened any double a sword, and when you

  270. apply it.

  271. You're being transformation into your lives. Amen. Apply the word

  272. of God, claim his promises. There are yes and Amen.

  273. So it's not just about knowing the word in your mind,

  274. in your heart, but it's practicing it, doing what you know,

  275. what you heard from the Bible, what you memorize in

  276. the Bible.

  277. Amen.

  278. Applying the word of God and the promises into our

  279. life and from it you and I will get stories,

  280. real life stories and testimonies that we'll be able to

  281. share with others. And so if there was an equation

  282. to it, this is what the equation will look like.

  283. Truth E goals to testimony. Truth E goes to testimony

  284. because when we know the truth, the Bible says, the

  285. truth will set you free. Do you know that when

  286. you know the truth, the truth will set you free.

  287. So there has got to be transformation, and all the

  288. truth that we know in our lives must turn and

  289. be coming to testimonies in our life. Otherwise the truth

  290. will just remain in your in your mind and it

  291. will just be a truth, right, but it may not

  292. do anything to your life. And that is why when

  293. we apply the truth, of course, we need to first

  294. know the truth and apply the truth in our life.

  295. And then there will be testimony.

  296. There will be a story, There will be an experienced

  297. that you go to that you experience the truth to

  298. be true.

  299. Made it up? You experience the truth to be true?

  300. You know? And then why you hear us sharing testimonies

  301. in church?

  302. You know? I I am glad to hear the testimony

  303. of not too earlier and as well as the oh

  304. the testimony on the on the screen just now, Eleine Elaine, right, yeah,

  305. our prayer I can't remember the name, sorry, but yeah,

  306. you know whereby we share the testimonies?

  307. Because how do you know that your prayer works? Right?

  308. We know it as a as a truth, right, But

  309. when you share the testimony, it becomes alive a man,

  310. it becomes alive. And the thing I love about testimony

  311. is that it allows that miracle or that breakthrough to

  312. be replicated.

  313. Did you know that?

  314. Do you know why because when someone comes up and

  315. shares the testimony you and I, You or I may

  316. have a similar situation. And as you hear the testimony,

  317. fave is activated. You know, you see it happened. You

  318. know that it's possible. Someone has tried it, you know,

  319. and God came to for them. And then you say, Lord,

  320. if you can do it for this brother or this sister.

  321. You're the same God in the past, in the Bible

  322. or two thousand years ago. You heal back then, you

  323. still heal today, and you will still continue to heal.

  324. And so you and I will exercise our faith and

  325. then the miracle happens again. That's why I love it

  326. when you share testimonies. A man, we should always share

  327. our testimonies, and that's how our faith really comes alive,

  328. the truth becomes reality in our lives. And so you know,

  329. continue to ask a lot for fresh testimony, testimonies, you know,

  330. because we don't want to keep only sharing testimonies of

  331. you know, five years ago, ten years ago. Of course

  332. they are great testimonies, right. God remembers them. And you know,

  333. when the time of risers, we use the right testimony

  334. to edify someone or to bless someone. But I pray

  335. that you will continue to ask God to give me

  336. a fresh testimony. You know, every week of the every week,

  337. every month, every year, ask God for a fresh testimony.

  338. Because God is alive. And as we continue to put

  339. the word of God into application and the truth from

  340. the Bible, it would turn into test timonies, it would

  341. turn into testimonies. So do we kept what is the passion?

  342. Why is the purpose? How is the practice? So whenever

  343. people ask us or you know, the way how train

  344. our preachers is that whenever we preach on the word

  345. of God, we will always give you practical application, you know,

  346. because it is true that the word of God can

  347. be practiced. And we want to moderate out in our

  348. lives every day of our lives. And so our mission

  349. and our motto the slide will say, our mission and

  350. our motto is helping people believe. Everybody say helping people believe.

  351. Come on, may we as extra help people believe. And

  352. it could be just happening to believe a little bit more,

  353. or maybe they have not believed at all, Maybe happen

  354. to believe just a little bit more, you know, just

  355. a little bit closer to the Lord. Maybe they've already believed,

  356. But we can happen to believe more, can we We

  357. can do that and that's what we're called to do.

  358. You know, we can never transform another person. We can

  359. never convert another person. Our part is to help them

  360. to believe. And it's the work of the Holy Spirit

  361. that were transformed their hearts and their minds, because that

  362. is the work of the Holy Spirit. Our part to

  363. play is to help people to believe. And how do

  364. we do it by sharing practical truths from the Bible.

  365. There you go and coming back to the practical part

  366. of it again, tell them your real life stories and testimonies.

  367. And I believe every single person here has a story

  368. to tell. You have a story to tell of how

  369. you came to know the Lord. You know, we call

  370. it a salvation story. You may have a story of

  371. how you overcame your studies, how you got a job,

  372. how the Lord healed your mom, your dad, how the

  373. Lord heal you. You know, how the Lord brought your

  374. family into salvation. So everyone of us have a story.

  375. And I want to say, you know that story is

  376. your own right, is God's work in your life, and

  377. it is the Word of God made flesh. You know,

  378. because the Bible tells us that Jesus is the Word

  379. made flesh.

  380. That's what the Bible tells us.

  381. But how many of you know that you and I

  382. we also have an opportunity to be the Word of

  383. God made flesh in a sense, whereby what I mean

  384. by that is that sometimes your friends may never open

  385. the Bible to read it. They may never read the Bible.

  386. But when they see your life, when they read your life,

  387. when they hear your words that you speak, when they

  388. see how you react to things, in some sense, they

  389. are reading your life and the Word made flesh. And

  390. so every single one o us here today have an

  391. opportunity to bring the reality of God and the Word

  392. of God to our friends, our families, our marketplace, to

  393. people in our neighborhood around us, because you may be

  394. the only walking Bible that someone may read. And perhaps

  395. after they read your life, they will be willing to

  396. read your Bible. I pray they will be after they

  397. see your life.

  398. Amen.

  399. So remember, our lives may be a living testimony, a

  400. walking miracle of God's goodness, God's faithfulness, his love for

  401. you and for me. So every testimony has got to

  402. be powerful. Few more peace powerful personal and practical. Every

  403. test something it's got to be powerful because God is

  404. involved in it. God's work in your life, God's hand,

  405. his miracle, He's break too, at work in your life.

  406. It's got to be powerful. It's got to be personal.

  407. That's why I encourage you to have your own story,

  408. because it's different when we tell a story of another person. Right,

  409. of course, it's powerful. It's still a miracle, it's still

  410. a testimony. But it's different when it's your own story.

  411. It's personal because people can argue about theology with you,

  412. but they can never argue about your personal story unless

  413. you're lying love, you know, wish that's within you and God, right,

  414. but they can't argue with your story. It's your encounter,

  415. your personal story with the Lord. It's got to be personal,

  416. and everyone of us must desire to have a personal testimony.

  417. It's got to be practical. It's got to be practical.

  418. When you share your story, someone is able to listen

  419. to it and their faith is activated, and that they

  420. will also glorified the Lord, and they also put their

  421. faith to the test. They will apply what they hear

  422. from the word of God and from your testimony. So remember,

  423. if I am a reflection of walking by What are

  424. people reading about me? That's what the question in your

  425. book says, and you can write that on your own.

  426. I don't have an answer for you, because that is

  427. about you, right, it's me. It's your personal story.

  428. Amen. Are you okay? So far? Are you following me

  429. so far? All right?

  430. Now let's go to the next peek, which is prepared

  431. or another way I can say is preparation. So as

  432. you know, if as we hear the vision, there needs

  433. to be preparation, right, There need to be preparation of

  434. our heart, preparation of our minds, you know, our trying,

  435. our will so that we can fulfill the vision that

  436. God has given to us. And today we are focusing

  437. mainly on the vision, okay.

  438. On the vision. Vision is what you see, okay.

  439. And in the weeks to come we will hear more things,

  440. and next week you will here on the mission. Mission

  441. is what you do, okay, what you do. Vision is

  442. what you what you see.

  443. Okay.

  444. So today we're covering on a vision path, okay. So

  445. as you continue to shaw the vision, there needs to

  446. be a preparation okay. And on the screen you will

  447. see a sign okay, or you know, on a book,

  448. so they should be the sign there. And this is

  449. a sign of a button, you know. Let me ask

  450. you a question. Is this button the start or the stop?

  451. Start? Oh?

  452. Wow? Okay, I like your answer. I like your optimism.

  453. The button is the start. But did you know that

  454. I have this button in my car and it is

  455. both a start and a stop button.

  456. Okay?

  457. Okay, So I like the optimism, and I say what

  458. button is it? You say, start, praise the Lord. Okay,

  459. so maybe all click the start button okay, not the

  460. stop button, even though on my car is a start

  461. slash stop.

  462. Okay. So the point.

  463. Is that this button is it's a start or a

  464. stop button. And the thing about unpacking a vision is

  465. that you know, as we unpacked, right, some of us

  466. will be excited to say, let's go, bastard. Come on,

  467. I'm ready to conquer the world. I'm ready to serve

  468. the Lord. I'm ready to be used by the Lord.

  469. I'll click the start button. But there may be one

  470. or two of us that may press the opposite, which

  471. is a stop button, because after you hear it, maybe

  472. you're afraid. Maybe you say, look, God, I don't want this.

  473. I don't want to be out of it on no way,

  474. But I pray today, come on that every single one

  475. of us were pressed the start button. Come on, we

  476. pressed the start button instead of the stop button. So

  477. even as we hear today the vision made the spirit

  478. give us strength and grace. You know, the Bible says

  479. those who have ears, maybe hear what the spirit of

  480. the lot is saying to you and to me, to

  481. us a man. So the question is are you pressing

  482. the start or the stop button? As you hear the

  483. vision of X, press the start button and not the

  484. stop even though it's the same button. Let us hear

  485. what the spirit of the lot is saying to us.

  486. And so the next slide will say who is a leader?

  487. Now?

  488. The reason why there's this question is because as we

  489. are unpacking the vision, some of you here that here

  490. made think in your mind that look past it sounds

  491. like whatever I'm sharing right is for leaders or for partners.

  492. Maybe I'm you know, I'm new here.

  493. I maybe I don't believe it in a vision it

  494. sounds like it's just for the leaders I wound.

  495. Let you know, the question is who is a leader? Right?

  496. Did you know that all of us here are leaders

  497. in one way or another, because what is a leader.

  498. A leader is actually a person who first leads himself

  499. or herself before they lead others. Now, suddenly everyone who

  500. has sound like leaders. Right, Because in order for you

  501. to come to churche today, you had to lead your

  502. body to wake up from your annoying alarm, get out

  503. of your bait and make it the choice today? Right,

  504. So you had to make a choice, You had to

  505. make a decision. You had to lead your heart, your mind,

  506. your body, your soul. So, in one way or another,

  507. all of us here are leaders. Everyone can be a leader.

  508. The statement says, you know, so whatever they were sharing today,

  509. it's not just for leaders. But I want to say,

  510. I want to say to you, think of yourself as

  511. a leader. You know, you may not be leading others

  512. behind you around you, but you are first leading yourself.

  513. Come on, we're first leading ourselves, and eventually you will

  514. get a chance and our desires that you will also

  515. lead others. That's called making disciples. Amen, Being a disciple

  516. and also making disciples by discipling others.

  517. But all of us can lead ourselves first. Amen.

  518. All right, So let's do a quick devotion. God makes

  519. no mistakes. If you believe it, say amen, God makes

  520. no mistakes. And so if God makes no mistakes, that

  521. will mean the question is who has God given to

  522. you or to us? You know? Why do you think

  523. He's given us him, her, or them, whichever capacity you're

  524. serving in, you know, And so we really believe that

  525. God makes no mistakes. There is no coincidence even every

  526. single person of you sitting here. You're here for a reason.

  527. God has a plan, you know, He has ordained or

  528. allowed you to be here. He's not a coincidence. The

  529. friend invited you, So no one hears by coincidence. Even

  530. those who came and have left, they are also not

  531. a coincidence because it is your choice. It's their own decision.

  532. But God makes no mistakes. So I believe that everyone

  533. in your homes, everyone in your family, everyone in your classroom,

  534. everyone in your workplace, in your office, in your neighborhood

  535. is not by accident. So ask the question, who has

  536. God given to you? Who has God given to me?

  537. And what has He called us to do with who

  538. He has put in our lives? Because it's no accident.

  539. Remember it's not accident. You could be the only one

  540. they could reach your family, You could be the only

  541. one they could reach a friend.

  542. What are you doing about it? And so as a church,

  543. we believe that.

  544. Not a single one of you here are here by accident,

  545. and our job is to give you our best so

  546. that we can draw out the best.

  547. From each and every one of you. Really, that's our

  548. hearts desire.

  549. There's a passion to see the best in every single

  550. one of you see here this morning. And this is

  551. why you often hear us push you a little bit,

  552. you know, when people tell us, you know what, I

  553. can't serve in homes or I can't serve in church,

  554. or I can't make it a Sunday. I believe and

  555. I hope that my leaders will always tell you, come on,

  556. you can do it. Don't skip chures on your exam times,

  557. because the know the Lord will honor you. And I

  558. remember still seeing Caleb when he was having his expim

  559. he came to church, you know, And so we get

  560. honor the Lord, and so our desires to draw the

  561. best in you, and so their days that we will

  562. challenge you, and I pray you won't be offended, you know,

  563. because we want to draw out the best from you

  564. that God has installed for you and for me.

  565. Amen.

  566. So there's a question there, what is the best that

  567. you can bring to bring out the best in him

  568. or her or them in whichever capacity that you are

  569. serving in the Lord.

  570. Amen.

  571. And so God is at work in X. He is

  572. in the midst of preparing X. I call it God's

  573. preparation work in X. And so the slide was saying

  574. God has been consistently and faithfully at work to make

  575. EX church pandemic of persecution equipped for the past ten years.

  576. I really believe that now because I've been in the

  577. ex for more than ten years, I think about fourteen

  578. or fifteen years and counting, by the grace of God.

  579. And if you've been an AX long enough, you will

  580. know that we have this thing called the worship at homes.

  581. Can I see a shure hence harmony of you have

  582. been to worship at homes?

  583. Let me see your hands, see let me your okay okay,

  584. raised high? Okay. Wow. So there's actually more than half

  585. of you.

  586. So at least at least fifty percent of words, yere

  587. already you know, persecution and pandemic proof or we are equipped,

  588. we are ready.

  589. And that is what a lot is bepatn us.

  590. You know our church was so it is small in

  591. the sense of the numbers, right, but they'll all say,

  592. go smaller, go through the numbers of tens, fifteen's in

  593. the houses. And so we do this every year. We

  594. call it a fire drill. Okay, So if you've been

  595. an around you will hear us explain this ten times already. Okay,

  596. I think I've explained it one hundred times. It's called

  597. a fire drill. And you know you have fire drill, right,

  598. Sometimes we will do fire you you feel like it's useless,

  599. heav You know, I did a fire due in my office, right,

  600. and I'm like, oh again, why must we practice this

  601. fire duil? But you know what, the fire drill is

  602. only important right when the emergency happens, right, And when

  603. the emergency happens, you know what to do, right, because

  604. if that was the first time the emergency happened and

  605. you never practiced it, we were panning, we were penning.

  606. There's another people you we're penning. So that's what the

  607. purpose of a fire due is. And so when actually

  608. did this, you know, worship at homes for every year

  609. we will do it at least once or some years

  610. we did it twice.

  611. Some years we did it three times.

  612. Whereby we will close our Sunday worship set survey setting,

  613. and we will go into the homes you know, or

  614. the small groups to do our worship. And they're so

  615. powerful because instead of one preacher standing in front here,

  616. suddenly in some money, we've got six features because there's

  617. six diven homes. And you know we have we have

  618. about eighty homes in actions. I think about seventy seven.

  619. But the numbers keep changing. It becomes more and more

  620. and less and more and less. I lost count how

  621. many numbers, but it's almost eighty homes. Can you imagine

  622. for the Sunday that eighty preachers. That is why when

  623. the pandemic hit.

  624. We were ready. We were ready.

  625. God knew even before the pandemic hit. You know, we

  626. didn't know that the pandemic will come. Of course, the

  627. Bible does tell us that pastidients will come. But you know,

  628. when you know, we were preparing for persecution when pandemic came.

  629. But yet I must say we were prepared because of

  630. God's preparation work in the actions.

  631. If you believe it, say amen.

  632. So not just pandemic proof, not just persecution ready, but

  633. also poverty ready. What I mean by that is that

  634. not that we will be poor. But you know, when

  635. the pandemic hit, the nation went down in the sense

  636. of economy. Businesses shut down, people needed help. There was

  637. eight they needed to be going around. And what I

  638. mean by poverty ready in a sense where by God

  639. would bless us enough and put enough blessing in our

  640. storehouses so that we'll be able to meet the needs

  641. of those around us. And so even during the pandemic

  642. we went out to help those in need. God will

  643. continue to provide for us. We will continue to give

  644. unto the Lord and unto others as God continues to

  645. give unto us, because it is more blessed to give

  646. than to receive.

  647. Amen.

  648. God is Jehovah driver, God our provider. You know, poverty

  649. not in the sense of money only, but also in spirit.

  650. Sometimes we can be poor in spirit. Sometimes we can

  651. be poor in the Word of God. And so I

  652. want to say to you, all of us extras, let

  653. us continue to be equipped with the Word of God.

  654. Let us contu to strengthen our spirit, feed our spirit

  655. with the Word of.

  656. God with faith.

  657. So that when the times of testing come, you and

  658. I were then strong as a church. Whatever that happens,

  659. we will continue to focus on the law and the

  660. author and finish it of our faith.

  661. Amen.

  662. God has been preparing us and he will continue to

  663. prepare us for the years to come.

  664. I've got to run running out of time, okay.

  665. So God is calling us to prepare, just like how

  666. uh John the Baptist, I sf you know John the

  667. Baptist was called you know, he was sent ahead of

  668. Jesus to prepare the way of the Lord for the

  669. coming of the Messiah. So God is preparing us. You

  670. and I need to need to prepare just like Noah

  671. and they are. You know, even though Noah has not

  672. seen I don't know seen rain or for a long time,

  673. or maybe he has. I'm sure he's not seen the

  674. arc that size, but God gave him specific instructions. People

  675. thought he was crazy, but yet Noah believed, he trusted

  676. the Lord. He did preparation as God instructed him. And

  677. so sometimes we may not have seen something that's yet

  678. to come, that does not mean that we don't prepare

  679. for it. That's exactly what a fire you is for

  680. you prepare for the uncertainty or for emergency, even though

  681. you have not seen it, but you prepare for it.

  682. So God is calling us to prepare, just like Peter

  683. and the miraculous catch. You know, Peter said, we have

  684. toiled all night. We've done all we could, you know,

  685. but we've caught nothing. And so sometimes you and I

  686. can be in a place of discouragement of the past.

  687. We've done everything we could. God, I given him my best.

  688. We have tall all.

  689. Night, Peter said.

  690. But after that he said this, nevertheless, at your word, nevertheless,

  691. at your word. So Peter Obeth, even though he and

  692. the discipers are told all night and the Bible, she

  693. tells us they're washing the washing the nets, know, and

  694. you know it's not easy to wash nets, because he's

  695. not washing his nets are with fish in the nets.

  696. You know, he's probably washing his nets with rubbish in

  697. the nets because you know you will catch shells and

  698. every other thing, you know, a CV whatever it is,

  699. you know, to pick up the CV. You know, it's

  700. not easy to wash nets, you know. And he must

  701. be thinking, Jesus, I'm washing it. It's probably clean by now.

  702. But God is saying, yes, with the clean nets would

  703. give you a mimickle, you know, he's And then Peters saying,

  704. you know, it's not time to fish, it's not the

  705. right time. I'm good at this. He's a fisherman. But

  706. it's not about the time to fish. Listen, it's and

  707. it's about God's time. It's about God's time. When it's

  708. God's time, even the impossible world be possible to those

  709. who believe. Nevertheless, at your word.

  710. Peter said, and he let down his net for a catch.

  711. And so I want to say to us, it is

  712. God who adds daily to the church.

  713. You know the subscription the Bible that tells us, unless

  714. the Lord builds a house, the laborers, the labor in vain.

  715. And that's why we pray. That's why we ask of

  716. the Lord. That's why we seek the Lord. You know,

  717. at the time of the Pentacost, you know, in the

  718. Bible and the extra too, I think you know, it

  719. says that the Lord added daily to the church, you know,

  720. those who are being saved. I think also says they

  721. know he added how many thousand there I can't remember

  722. it exact suddenly, but he added to the church. It

  723. is God who adds to the church. Those who are

  724. being saved. And so he's the one that drew the

  725. fish into the nets, not the disciples. But it is God,

  726. it is He is the one who did it, did

  727. the miracle. By your job and my job. Our job

  728. is to launch out into the deep. That's what Jesus

  729. asked Peter to do, launch out into the deep and

  730. let down the nets for a catch.

  731. And when he.

  732. Obeyed the Lord, the catch was so big that the

  733. nets began to break. So the third point is strengthened

  734. the nets, the nets for breaking. And it can mean

  735. our attitude, it can mean our spirit, it can mean

  736. our faith. That is what we need to strengthen because

  737. God has going to bring us a big harvest. But

  738. we believe it. Say, Amen, He's going to bring us harvest.

  739. But we need to be prepared because if we are

  740. not prepared, sometimes even the blessing of God can sink.

  741. You know, That's what happened to the story, right, It

  742. was the next not the next fish was so much

  743. that the boats began to sink. So we don't want

  744. to sing and go and not allow us to sink.

  745. But he wants us to prepare, to be prepared. Amen,

  746. and latne the boats ready the partners. That's what Peter

  747. did he call his partners. I think it was James

  748. and John, come and help. So every single one of

  749. you that are called partners of extras, we need to

  750. be ready for what God has in start for us.

  751. Amen. Isaiah fifty four, verse two.

  752. The three says, and large the place of your tent,

  753. Come on and larne, let them stretch out the curtains

  754. of your dwellings. Do not spare lengthen your cords. Can

  755. you see all these words? Do not spare lengthen your cords,

  756. and strengthen your sticks, for you shall expand. Come on,

  757. you shall expand to the right and to the left,

  758. and your descendants will inherit the nations and make the

  759. desolate cities inhabitant. Come on, This is our part to do,

  760. and God will bring the harvest. That's his part. Our

  761. part is to obedient, to be obedient, to be ready,

  762. to allow the lot to prepare us, so when the

  763. time comes, we will be ready for the revival of God.

  764. Amen.

  765. And so the next part is very important. It's called

  766. a vision of ex church. Now, if you've been in

  767. Excich long enough, you would have seen these table or

  768. this diagram. Okay, for the first twenty years, the Lord

  769. has called us to be a Joseph church. Twenty years

  770. are from year two thousand when we were founded and

  771. to year twenty twenty.

  772. A Joseph church. So we were a dreamer back then.

  773. Really, you know, when we were such a small church,

  774. we used to dream big.

  775. We brought in big bands. I think it's called delirious.

  776. You know, we had rallies in defer nations, itation, even cities,

  777. different states.

  778. We were verdy, a dreamer, a pastor.

  779. We were still young and still small as the church

  780. went around to share a dream Malaysia. We were a dreamer.

  781. There was a time for that. Not to say that

  782. we're not a dreamer. Now we're still dreaming, but that

  783. was a time. Twenty years the first twenty years and

  784. the second twenty years is the Daniel. God is raising

  785. out a Daniel generation from year twenty twenty to year

  786. twenty forty. But in this span of forty years, there

  787. are two particular years that have very significant meaning and

  788. not going to bring it to you. Follow me here.

  789. In year twenty to fifteen, God gave us this vision

  790. of from the Book of no from Hezekiah from the

  791. story of Hezekiah. Okay I think his time was up,

  792. you know, but God, you know, he pleaded for mercy

  793. and God gave him fifteen more years. And the tag

  794. line was said, your house in order.

  795. Fifteen years.

  796. God extended his life and asked him to set your

  797. house in order. So twenty to fifteen. He told us

  798. that in twenty eighteen it was nahi maya. You remember,

  799. some of you who are around we had just it

  800. should be the nahi maya. It's called rebuild, Rice and

  801. re build right, Rice and rebuild. There was nahimaya in

  802. twenty eighteen and for twelve years.

  803. Nahim I.

  804. If you build the walls and hang up the gates,

  805. and walls will speak about identity.

  806. We speak about purpose, speak about.

  807. Who we are, you know, knowing who we are, security,

  808. what they're called to do, What is our purpose?

  809. That's what walls talk about.

  810. And so if you do the math, some of you

  811. who are good math, twenty fifteen plus fifteen is twenty thirty.

  812. Twenty eighteen plus shelf years of naimaya is twenty thirty.

  813. So if again use the word loosely, magic number or

  814. the golden number they were looking at is twenty thirty,

  815. twenty thirty. I'm gonna use use that loosely, Okay, twenty thirty.

  816. God is preparing us for something great in twenty thirty.

  817. He has set his eyes on twenty thirty, so that

  818. we are prepared to be stronger, to know who we are,

  819. and to build our next generation. And if you do

  820. a math, you will know that's about seven more years

  821. to come. Of seven five more years to come. Okay,

  822. even I lost them the math. Five more years okay,

  823. twenty thirty towards the finishing line.

  824. So God is preparing us.

  825. We need to set our house in order get back

  826. to basics, to where it was meant to be, to

  827. keep the main thing the main thing before God brings

  828. us a great harvest.

  829. Amen.

  830. In twenty twenty, we celebrated our twentyeth anniversary with a

  831. clear vision. He began with kingdom, purpose and priority. That's

  832. why the Lord's prayer tells us, let your kingdom come

  833. and your will be done. And if you look at

  834. a sequence of the Lord's prayer, it comes first right,

  835. and we've got his priority is his kingdom, that his

  836. kingdom will come and his will be done here on earth.

  837. So God has declared Daniel as our vision for the

  838. next twenty Somebody say Daniel, Daniel, for the next twenty years.

  839. He will raise up Daniels in our means there will

  840. be ten times better out there in the marketplace, in

  841. our schools, in our campuses, wherever He has called us

  842. to be. So this is what it means for us

  843. as a church. Listen to this. This is the big

  844. vision for ext church, and it's taken from scripture in

  845. the HYPERCUK chapter two, verse fourteen.

  846. If you can please memorize this verse.

  847. For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of

  848. the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Come,

  849. let's all say that together, one, two three, For the

  850. earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory

  851. of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

  852. Amen.

  853. That is the big vision, or the overarching vision. Remember

  854. that wherever God has placed you and placed me, he

  855. wants you.

  856. To feel it with the knowledge of the glory of

  857. the Lord. For the earth, for the earth.

  858. So wherever you are at your earth, there could be

  859. your marketplace, your school, your campus, is your neighborhood, your family,

  860. you name it.

  861. Feed in the blanks.

  862. That is where you are called to be at no coincidence.

  863. But God wants us to do our part to fill

  864. the earth with the knowledge of the glory of the

  865. Lord as the waters cover the sea.

  866. Genesis one, verse twenty eight.

  867. I'm coming to a close, and I'm going to invite

  868. the worship team to come up very quickly. Genesis chapter one,

  869. verse twenty AD. Then God bless them and say to them,

  870. be fruitful and multiply.

  871. Feel the earth and subdue it.

  872. Have the dominion over the fish of the sea, over

  873. the birds of the air, and every living thing that

  874. moves on the earth.

  875. So three things that we can.

  876. Draw from this passage Genesis chapter one, verse TWENTYD. What

  877. is it feel the earth? What are we to do?

  878. Feel the earth? How to be fruitful and to multiply?

  879. That's how, which also means be fruitful and multiply. I'm

  880. not just referring to making babies by referring to making disciples.

  881. Really it's about making disciples, and the why is to

  882. have dominion, to have dominion, or that other word for

  883. that is influence, influence, to be a blessing, to be

  884. stout and light, to rob off God's goodness, his blessing,

  885. his faithfulness unto others, and to have the truth in

  886. our lives, to be transformed, to become testimonies, so that

  887. we will have dominion. So that's why we can draw

  888. from the Book of Genesis chapter one, verse twenty eight.

  889. So the question for us today is this, what excuse

  890. us am I thinking about?

  891. Now? Remember I told you earlier.

  892. Then when you see the button, you can either press

  893. the button to start, press the button to stop. Are we.

  894. Having any excuses or any fear in our minds? Right now?

  895. What are you thinking about?

  896. I want to remind us we've got there are no excuses,

  897. only great exploits.

  898. No excuses, only exploits.

  899. And Dine chapter eleven, verse thirty two tells us, but

  900. they who.

  901. Know their God shall be strong.

  902. Come on, they who know their God shall be strong

  903. and do great exploits.

  904. So let's not have excuse every one of us. We

  905. have a part to play.

  906. And remember I said to you earlier that you know

  907. as you continue to hear the vision and the mission

  908. and you hear the numbers, when you hear the strategies

  909. the plans, it may scare us, but be encouraged that

  910. God has the best for us. And if you know,

  911. if the dream doesn't scare you enough, it's not big enough.

  912. Have we had the statement before, you know? But he

  913. is the God of so much more, and he has

  914. the best install for us. He has so much more

  915. install for us. So don't be afraid, don't be fearful,

  916. be strong and very courageous. That's my encouragement, my encouragement

  917. to all of us here this morning, because we know

  918. our God, and we shall be strong and we shall

  919. do great exploits.

  920. Amen, Harley Lujah.
