  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Today's one. The next couple of weeks you'll hear from

  4. I think Pas, Daniel, Pus Kenneth as well. Okay, so

  5. we spend quite a bit of time on preparing right.

  6. If you go back, maybe something you need some bit

  7. of a refresher. If you look at your part one,

  8. we spoke about what unpecking leads us to right, and

  9. there's prayer, there's passion, there's purpose, there's practice. And then

  10. zero point five that's on your first page is prepared

  11. and most of it is about preparing right, about preparing us.

  12. And today we're still gonna talk about preparing Any of

  13. you remember the vision? What is the vision? Can open book,

  14. open book, exam can can read what's our vision? Anyone

  15. want to shout it out? What is the vision of

  16. X Church for the Earth? Only this ronie, but earth

  17. should we feel with her knowledge of the glory of

  18. the lords as the waters cover the sea? Okay, go

  19. back and memorize that, Hypergok chapter two, verse fourteen. You

  20. have to memorize that this year, Okay, this week can

  21. also very short. You know, I'm amazed by the kids,

  22. and I'm amazed by my daughter. Last week was it

  23. last week? Last week was family Sunday. So the kids

  24. set in right, and then they were redeeming their points

  25. to exchange for gifts, and so we said, okay, if

  26. anyone can remember any of the memory versus that we taught,

  27. you know, the past month or a few months, you

  28. get extra points. And my daughter actually remembered one that

  29. even I can't remember, and I was, yeah, I was

  30. really surprised that they remember. It's like weeks back. It's

  31. not even the previous week. It's probably a few weeks back.

  32. Memory verse during our Christmas series from Matthew, see I

  33. can remember you to No. Twenty one, See I can't remember,

  34. but she remembered it about you know, Jesus. Jesus is

  35. the time when they say Jesus should be born and

  36. his name his name is Jesus because he will say

  37. he's here to save our sins. But anyway, kids can

  38. really memorize Mary versus. I know it's a bit harder

  39. for those of us who are a bit older. The

  40. memory a bit everything, yeah, goes out very quickly, right,

  41. but try to remember this one, verse Hypercook chapter two,

  42. verse fourteen. Okay, is there in your book and you

  43. can also write it down to help you remember. And

  44. then we we also talk about the mission right in

  45. the past few weeks. One is our mission? What's our mission?

  46. Yeah?

  47. Making disciples last whole year, Right, we're talking about disciples.

  48. And it's not just making disciples, but making disciples that

  49. make the difference. Yeah, and we do that by helping

  50. people believe. Okay, So yeah, go through your book again, recap,

  51. and today we're gonna talk about gave your turn to

  52. part three with me. Are you there? Yay? Okay, We're

  53. gonna talk about Daniel.

  54. Wow.

  55. But Daniel has a really powerful name. No pressure, Yeah,

  56. big name, big name. Okay, So Daniel chapter two. How

  57. many of you know you've read through the book of

  58. Daniel if you haven't encouraged you to. It is so powerful.

  59. I mean, Daniel, he's so inspiring. You read him about

  60. him and his friends. And I don't know about you,

  61. but when I read it, I'm like, God, that's what

  62. I want to be in my marketplace. Like that's the

  63. kind of leader or a b that's the kind of

  64. believer I want to be in the marketplace. So let's

  65. read chapter two, verse twenty seven, twenty eight. We'll just

  66. read that, but I'll give you a bit of a

  67. background after that. Okay, So yeah, these is that Daniel

  68. answered in the presence of the king and said, the

  69. secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers,

  70. the magicians, the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. But

  71. there is a god in heaven who reveals secrets, and

  72. he has made known to king nebu kanza. Yes, so

  73. what what is Onnesday? Susanna aja? Okay nebka? What will

  74. be in the latter days? And if you read that

  75. whole chapter, you know is is really mind blowing. All

  76. the wise men, all the astrologers, the magicians at that time,

  77. right thought the king was crazy and unreasonable. Why because

  78. he said he had a dream, and he said, can

  79. you interpret the dream? Then they okay, King, tell us

  80. your dream. He said, no, I will not tell you

  81. the dream. You tell me what I dreamed. Everyone's like,

  82. what are you crazy? How can we tell you what

  83. you dreamed? Right? And they kept saying, no, King, that

  84. is crazy. If you read have it opened verse verse eleven. Yeah,

  85. in chapter two, verse eleven, right. It is a difficult

  86. thing that the king requests, and there is no other

  87. who can tell it to the king except the gods

  88. whose dwelling is not with flesh. So then like, are

  89. you crazy? Only the gods can tell you what you dream.

  90. You will know what you dream. But that made the

  91. king really furious. So what did he command? I mean,

  92. this king, this king is quite you know, crazy, you know,

  93. So he said, okay, kill all the wise men, all

  94. the wise men in Babylon. You'll be cut in pieces

  95. and your house is burned. Not just kill, no, cut

  96. in pieces. No, I mean, yeah, that's over, totally over.

  97. But that was his command. And Daniel and his friends

  98. at the time were also, you know, part of the

  99. wise men, and they heard about it. So the King's

  100. going around collecting all the wise men in Babylon to

  101. get ready to cut them in pieces. And Daniel say, hey, King, wait,

  102. give us some time. I'll ask God what your dream is. Right,

  103. That's that's Daniel. And so they got together, Daniel and

  104. his friends, they prayed, and what they got to the

  105. God of Heaven can not just any god. The God

  106. of Heaven revealed the dream to him in a vision

  107. in the night vision. Hey, you can read the chapter

  108. for himself. It's very excit thing on the book of Daniel.

  109. So many things. It's you know, continually things happening and

  110. revealed to him that, yeah, the dream in the night vision.

  111. And so because of him, the wise man were sped. Right,

  112. So he went to the king. Obviously, he told the

  113. king King, this is your dream and this is what

  114. it means. Okay, you can read the whole thing. You know,

  115. a lot of things happened a vision, and he interpreted it,

  116. and Daniel and his friends they were not only promoted,

  117. but you know what this king said. He said, Daniel,

  118. your God is the God of gods. He's the Lord

  119. of kings. He's the revealer of secrets. So this king,

  120. who obviously is not a believer in Jehovah or who

  121. we know now is you know, Jesus Christ, he is saying,

  122. your God is the God of gods, because there's no other.

  123. None of the wise men could tell me. Their gods

  124. couldn't tell, but your God could tell me my dream. Right,

  125. that is the supernatural god that we believe in. Come

  126. on this the same God. It's the same god, right,

  127. and we're worshiping I hope we're not serving a different God.

  128. Is the same God. And yeah, but I believe right

  129. if we want to experience this supernatural and talking about

  130. this a bit, because in twenty two and one, this

  131. is what passed the court that this prophecy, prophesy is

  132. what is supernatural. Only God can do it, right, and Daniel,

  133. Daniel had that gift and he was doing it. But

  134. I believe that if we want to work in a

  135. supernatural and experience the supernatural, we have a part to play, right.

  136. Daniel and his friends had to do their part. Firstly,

  137. of course, they believed. They didn't pending the moment they heard,

  138. oh no, Al was gonna get cut in pieces. No,

  139. they just believe that God could do it. Didn't even

  140. there's no way think time know then you just went, King,

  141. give us time and God will tell you the dream.

  142. And they prayed. They ask God, pray specifically reveal to

  143. us this dream that the King had. So do you

  144. really believe that God can do the supernatural for you

  145. and through you? This year? You know, I really spend

  146. a bit of time on this because I really want

  147. us to take this, catch this. If you forget everything else,

  148. it's lost things in the booklet. Just remember this. This

  149. is our God that use and you can experience the same. Okay,

  150. So prophety can only come from God. You know, this

  151. is impossible for manner. It's only possible for God. And

  152. from this year, actually from twenty twenty one, this is

  153. what Pasta declared to the church, that it will be

  154. the year off and years off, the supernatural, the miraculous,

  155. the Spirit of God moving like never before, and the

  156. gifts of the Spirit manifest and come to pass. You know,

  157. there's so many gifts ur gifts of the spirit as

  158. nine correct, maybe not as gifts for the spirit God

  159. nine gives, yeah, but interpretation of dreams, of tongues, you know,

  160. all these kind of things that usually when we ask

  161. for gives of the spirit that we asked for. God

  162. give us the gift of maybe faith, gift of healing.

  163. Not many of us ask for gift of prophecy. Scared

  164. s get through the future. God, don't tell me things

  165. that you don'tant to know. Yeah, don't want to know,

  166. but He's powerful. Give the prophecy, give the tongues. Okay,

  167. all of us can speak in tongues, but to interpret

  168. tongues that's another thing. But what don't we desire, desire

  169. the gifts of the spirit, because it's true, this right

  170. to the power. It's not just preaching of the word,

  171. but it's God's power. When it's evident, you know, people

  172. cannot deny this. This is the true living God. Okay,

  173. so we see that Daniel, he was a vessel, right,

  174. he opened his mouth, he spoke up, and he was

  175. that mouthpiece of God to speak his word. And so

  176. this team prophesy was downloaded in twenty twenty one and

  177. this how many years now? Five years ago already, okay,

  178. in twenty twenty one. But all of us need to

  179. catch this and we need to be ready to speak

  180. the word of the Lord. We're not speaking God's language,

  181. not speaking his word, then we're not going to see

  182. these miracles. You know, we're going to experience the testimonies.

  183. But we need to learn to speak his word in

  184. the right and proper time. So what kind of words? Yeah,

  185. I don't don't think so far. I don't prophesie like

  186. I need to see your vision and prophesy. No, why

  187. do we start off speak words of life? You have

  188. a book of life here right, everything that you read

  189. every day in the Bible. Speak that over your own life,

  190. over your family, over your friends, over your workplace, over

  191. your school. Speak what's of life? What's a blessing? Encouragement?

  192. I think we can be the most encouraging people in

  193. the world. We wanted to. You know, at our workplaces,

  194. we are the ones everyone is complaining. Everyone is, you know,

  195. talking about doom and companies not doing well. It's you know,

  196. unstable people losing jobs, so much insecurity. But you can

  197. be that encouragement. Be that encouragement. Can speak words of

  198. peace or faith or healing, deliverance, breakthrough, Yes, prophecy as well.

  199. Some of you may have the gifts of prophecy. Exercise it,

  200. declare words of discernment. Ask God for discernment. Right when

  201. you speak with people, ask God, what is it that

  202. this person needs? What do they need to hear? Today

  203. we met someone who used to come and speak in

  204. our church back in Subang and he said, no, every

  205. time he's speaking with someone, can be a stranger, can

  206. be a friend. He's asking the Holy Spirit. God, revealed

  207. to me what's this person going through? You know doesn't

  208. have been detailed, but reveal to me what does he need? Now,

  209. and so he's very sensitive. He's always like, immediately, can

  210. I just say the right thing or pray the right

  211. thing over you know the person? And Albert I experienced that.

  212. He was so on point. Now first by me, think

  213. us and whatever his It was like, okay, definitely revealed

  214. from God because he doesn't know us, but all of us. Again,

  215. we always think, okay, that's for that person, but no,

  216. all of us can have that. We just need to ask, right,

  217. ask the Holy Spirit, give me that discernment. What's this

  218. person going through? How can I help? How can I

  219. release that word to encourage them, or you know, just

  220. to speak life over them, wisdom we are named them.

  221. Ask the Lord for wisdom. And we can also speak

  222. and release wisdom to others. Okay, and God will show

  223. off his power. But I hope we want to be

  224. that mouthpiece. We need to first begin speaking it and

  225. then we see God work. God do the rest. Right,

  226. we declare for us in faith and God will do

  227. the rest. So God is calling us to prepare. If

  228. you have your pants, you can write there. God is

  229. calling us to prepare, and he's not He's not expecting

  230. us to bring the rain. There is not a responsibility. Right,

  231. we just need to bring the umbrella. We just need

  232. to bring the umbrella. Even as Daniel and his friends,

  233. they just brought their prayer, their faith before the Lord,

  234. and he's the one that reveal the dream. Right, it's

  235. not them. God's not expecting them to interpret the dream

  236. by themselves or even tell the dream. He did that

  237. same thing. Okay, he just wants us to bring the umbrella.

  238. He would bring the rain. And he's telling us not

  239. to worry about the numbers. Don't be concerned, sorry, but

  240. be concerned and be focused on doing our part. So

  241. even when I think about when we started XKK, we

  242. didn't know who would come. We don't know you would come, right,

  243. We didn't know anyone as a few of us that

  244. started off the prayer group, and then we say, yeah,

  245. let's just plan in KK because they're I mean, there

  246. are so many people in and if we didn't do

  247. our part in doing that, we wouldn't have seen. You know,

  248. I'm thinking of people like sister Sharon. I mean those

  249. that came to mind with those that recently got baptized

  250. to Sharon, how did she come? Because we started ex kids.

  251. You know, Bastar had shared before he said it's okay,

  252. don't need to start. Excuse first it no not teachers,

  253. but John Laura myself. We said, yeah, let's just let's

  254. just start, and we started. Ex kids, these four kids,

  255. two girls, two boys. Their parents wanted their auntie grandaunt

  256. actually to get about the house so that they can have,

  257. you know, their own time. And sister Sharon was the

  258. grandmann and brought these four kids, two ex kids, you know,

  259. right when we started in key Side, Keyside, mar alone

  260. and they came week after week and then they stopped coming.

  261. But guess what she continued coming, right, She gave her

  262. life to the Lord. She got baptized here, she's growing.

  263. So if we didn't do that, we may not have

  264. seen this life. Right, there's so many more Cecilia in

  265. our homes. It's kennon Ethan also just recently got aater baptized.

  266. But if we didn't start, would they be here. Maybe

  267. God have led them to another church maybe, but we

  268. got to be a part of this and see these

  269. lives come to the Lord. So so yeah, we just

  270. bring umbrella, just do our part. God will bring the rein. Amen. Amen, Okay,

  271. let's see. We want to the next pagere contin you

  272. to talk about preparation for the journey hit and what

  273. we need to prepare is Pastor caught these five seas.

  274. So I'm gonna share this with you, right, because again,

  275. a vision and a mission is pointless if it remains

  276. on a banner, on a screensaver in this book. So nice,

  277. I mean they went to law we dissecting Buster's message

  278. and putting it all here for us. But this is

  279. for us to catch it together, okay, So for us

  280. to prepare, these are the five seas. The first thing conviction,

  281. everyone say conviction. If we don't believe it, how do

  282. you even start? How do we even begin? It'd just

  283. be something cool it Passa came out with and then

  284. none of the church call it cat out. We need

  285. we need to first catch it together. Right. And this

  286. this vision, you know, I want to say, it's not

  287. just it's not just for church. You know, everything that

  288. we share here in case some of you already switching off,

  289. I really believe it's also for our own personal lives.

  290. Over the years that I've been in extra everything that

  291. every year, the vision, every year that God gives this

  292. direction to the church, I take it for myself and

  293. I apply in my own personal life, and I see

  294. how God works in my mark a place in my

  295. personal life. It's not just ministry and in church per

  296. se within the four walls, but in your own personal life,

  297. you can see God working that way. Yeah. Yeah, and

  298. I can see myself prospering. I see God's power at work. Okay,

  299. so let's catch it together. And it starts with believing.

  300. Our motto is helping people believe. Skin write that down

  301. in your book as well. Helping people believe. And so

  302. many of us here standing. I think you speak to

  303. any of us leaders who are here. We're here because

  304. we believe. And you know, I don't know anywhere else

  305. that has helped me believe as much as I have

  306. in my journey this twenty twenty three years, twenty three

  307. years here in acts just really believing, not blind believing,

  308. you know, but really believing in what God can do,

  309. so believing in the impossible, believing in the supernatural. But

  310. it starts believing, and we need to catch this vision.

  311. Yeah.

  312. It cannot just be taught like now in telling right,

  313. teaching saying some words, you're filling up some playings. No,

  314. you need to catch it in your spirit. That's my prayer.

  315. We all catch it in our spirit, and we also

  316. catch things through observing, observing others, seeing what our leaders

  317. are doing. A lot of things that we catch. We

  318. see our our spiritual father, spiritual mother, how they do right.

  319. I mean the faith that sours had is because we

  320. are we see how passic Kenneth operates, and he always

  321. operates out of faith, and so we catch that. Okay,

  322. So so number one is what's the first point? See yeah,

  323. first see conviction number two. Condition, everyone say condition. In

  324. Judges chapter twenty one, verse twenty five, it says, in

  325. those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did

  326. what was right in his own eyes. Now as a church,

  327. even as a family, and any organization, the companies that

  328. were with if we are not united, that's the word

  329. in the blank that if you're not united, you cannot

  330. move forward. Right in my company, my my new ceo,

  331. I mean he took he took his position in n

  332. twenty twenty two, and ever since then he's been what's

  333. the word, sifting through the company, removing, but you know,

  334. in a in a very good way, humane way, removing

  335. people that are not with him, that don't believe in

  336. his vision that don't you know that are just tired, jaded,

  337. can't see the way forward, you know, don't want to

  338. pull the weight together with him? He said to do

  339. that because if not, he can move the company forward.

  340. And it's still going on. It is still going on,

  341. and this year we still need to do some work.

  342. But what more in the church, in a company, the

  343. same those of you who own businesses, you know that

  344. if people are not with you and not on the

  345. same page and not united with you, it's very hard

  346. to advance your company, right, And in church, the same thing.

  347. If we don't see the same things, if we don't

  348. believe in the same things, if we don't catch the

  349. same things together. So as eraon, come for our anniversary service,

  350. because you know that's past the casting the vision to

  351. the whole church, and you hear it from the Father

  352. of the house to the whole church, right, and then

  353. of course you'll be hearing it here as well. But

  354. when we catch it together, then we can run together.

  355. So it is important, you know, this condition is important

  356. to still centralize and set conditions of how things should

  357. be done. There needs to be some structure that if not,

  358. like Judges says, right. Everyone just did what was right

  359. in his own nice not that it's wrong. We're not

  360. saying anyone else's is wrong. But if anyone's doing things differently,

  361. then you be all walking in different directions. Then you

  362. still be one one spot cannot go forward. Okay. So

  363. we want to centralize. We want to set conditions so

  364. that we are clear, we understand the same thing, we

  365. know how to do things, and we won't be left

  366. behind and not also not left to everyone's understanding their

  367. own understanding. Oh, this is what I interpreted or it

  368. or that, but eli interpreted differently, even interpreted differently. No,

  369. let's all interpret it together the same way.

  370. Man.

  371. So you know, God has appointed passed Kenna as the

  372. father of this house, and so he sets the vision.

  373. He sees God gives him the vision and then we

  374. run with it together with him. Man. Okay, So number

  375. one conviction, number two, Condition number three cooperation or commitment.

  376. Everyone say cooperation, co operation. So conviction comes from the Lord,

  377. all right, God gives us that conviction and it's not

  378. it's not coming from us, like we cannot convict you,

  379. but the Canada we cannot convict you. That when the

  380. Lord has to has to bring that conviction for all

  381. of us, not the CPCs. CPC cannot. We can just share,

  382. but the lot has to convict you. The condition and

  383. the centralizing that comes from the leaders. So we help, right,

  384. we have a we have a senior passes office, local

  385. senior passes office. We help set those structures in place

  386. or to help people understand this. How do we do this?

  387. How do we run homes? How do we run our service?

  388. How do we disciple so that there's some structure and

  389. we can all move in the same direction. But even

  390. if that's conviction as conditions, but no commitment and no

  391. cooperation from the rest of earth, from everyone else, then

  392. we have nothing. Right again, it's we have a conviction

  393. and then we set things in place, but no one's

  394. doing anything. Oh so cannot just not going anywhere. Also,

  395. so a vision is nothing without provision. And guess what

  396. God's provision is always by providing people, not just money,

  397. not resources, not programs. But his plan is always you

  398. and me. Yes, yes you can, yes you can talk.

  399. You and I we are God's planning. God brought God

  400. brought you to this church. Right, none of us, none

  401. of us forced you in, pulled you in. How did

  402. you end up here? It was God? So you are

  403. a provision. You are a provision to this church. You know,

  404. God brought you here. And we're so blessed, so blessed

  405. by each and every one of you. All of you

  406. have a part to play in building this church and

  407. building God's Kingdom overall. Right, this church, we were just

  408. part of a larger, a wider family and the body

  409. of Christ. All right, Oh God, that okay, Just remember

  410. you are the provision people, people, okay, number four, number four.

  411. So initially you know, got downloaded and gave past the three,

  412. but then there were another two. So these are the

  413. other two. First one is community, and I say community.

  414. You know, many of us stayed on in church because

  415. we found community. Right if you have like no friends

  416. at all, nobody knows you can. I know some people

  417. who want to be like that largest sneak in church.

  418. Nobody knows you sneak out again. But most of us

  419. one that community. I shed I shed before with some

  420. of you that when when we started Xkking This community

  421. refreshed me. But I was tired. We had done. We

  422. ran homes and led church for so many years, and

  423. you know we got hurt, we got disappointed, we got

  424. let down. But when we started Xkking and then we

  425. found this new community, you refreshed me. I was revived.

  426. I was, you know, refired, Yes really, and I shared

  427. with with you know, my my huddle girls and all

  428. who are in other church plans now as well, like

  429. there was House K like you know the first few years,

  430. I was telling that. I remember the first year, I

  431. was saying, I'm really refreshed being here. So thank you

  432. all of you who have refreshed me. And then I

  433. also have my older community and like yesterday we met

  434. up you know, my huddle and those of you who

  435. don't know, we have all these huddles with names. You know,

  436. so we are diamond white. We shined bright like a diamond.

  437. If we say we have the best name, yeah, diamond white.

  438. And it's taken. Okay, you're wondering why why these names? No,

  439. it's taken from the stones, the pressure stones twelve right,

  440. the twelve tribes. Right, they each have a representative of

  441. the stones. Okay, anyway, you can go and ask us

  442. the oldest sunny then and wert ask them what was there?

  443. I don't name huh, guys different changing you. Yeah, yeah,

  444. tribes correct. So the girls got the precious stones and

  445. the guys got the twelve tribes. So we so I

  446. saw still had the community had had? We met up

  447. us ladies. We're all, you know, all of us leading

  448. in our different chips, we're all from different church plans.

  449. We're all leading in our different church plans. And we've

  450. been through so many seasons together, the success, the exciting times,

  451. but also the discouraging times, the challenging times, times we

  452. wanted to give up, times we've lost people, times people

  453. let us down. And we've been through all the times

  454. where we have questions ourselves, questioning things. But we're still standing.

  455. How many of us were there? Six seven of us

  456. still standing, still loving God, still living, the church, still

  457. living the people that God has entrusted to us. And

  458. you know what I think about the church. You'll not

  459. like the new generation, new generation, and you know the

  460. questions will you also whether the seasons were only three

  461. years old XKK, many more seasons hours, two decades? Really? Who?

  462. But we weather the seasons as a community. We need

  463. the support of one another. It feel it's very hard

  464. to go through challenging times. We need each other we

  465. also weather the seasons and us all these we say,

  466. we are here to journey with you. We're here to

  467. share our experiences. We're here to encourage you and you

  468. go through your ups and downs. But yeah, no one

  469. goes alone. We need to go and grow together. Okay,

  470. if and and God doesn't want us to move a

  471. hit alone as well. God wants us to work together,

  472. not in isolation. Right, even those of you who ah,

  473. pick a ball alone? Not fun? Right? Huh? You can't

  474. play alone. Yeah, can't play alone, play the wall on

  475. his question. But there's a community, right, it's fun because

  476. there's a community. Those who work out also, except my husband,

  477. like maybe, but the rest of you go gym. You

  478. want to you need that, Yeah, like a gym, Boddy,

  479. someone to inspire. You need some inspiration, some encouragement and

  480. for them there because training for competition are no choice. Yeah. Yeah,

  481. And we need each other. We really need each other.

  482. I need you. You need me. I think I'm just

  483. saying it, but I need you definitely. I need you.

  484. We have our homes, we have our homies, we have

  485. our huddle. For me, I have my girlfriends, we have

  486. a I have a close group of girlfriends. We're from

  487. CF in Uni and until now we're all from like

  488. a different year, different bachelor from like my first year

  489. to someone from the last year. But there's a group

  490. of us. They're still stay in that share of you

  491. you people, uh and and we also go through the

  492. seasons together and they are my community. At work, I

  493. have my prayer huddle now, I call it a prayer huddle,

  494. and we encourage one another because work hasn't been easy.

  495. Company times haven't be easy, but we get together, we pray,

  496. we encourage one another. I hope you all have your

  497. community and and just remember that, Yeah, we need each other,

  498. so let's look out for one another. Yeah. Yeah. A

  499. community that truly cares is a community that is true

  500. safe And a big part of community is communication. Communication.

  501. Those of us who went through pre marriage counseling in extras,

  502. the first topic is communication and many of us spent

  503. many weeks on communication because that is the most important thing,

  504. right in marriage and in anything I tell you, in

  505. a in a company as well, communication is so key,

  506. so so key. Last week I met one of my

  507. how girls you know, from Subang, and we're talking about communication,

  508. like how we can get better at this, the church

  509. can get better at this as well. And I realized, right,

  510. because how if you know the personality traits d S,

  511. So how you had done it right? Dominant, influential, steady,

  512. compliant or some put it as colors, So dominant is red,

  513. red people, then it's the influential yellow, yellow people. Then

  514. it's the steady. And a lot of us fall in

  515. this group, the green group, steady, a lot of Asians,

  516. a lot of Malaysians. Actually Malaysia as a as a

  517. nation also looks more green if they if they they

  518. were to categorize the nation countries, that UK would be

  519. a red, Netherlands would be a red rare direct just

  520. tell it as it is. For us, we like to

  521. be around a Bussia peckish nicely first you know, sorry,

  522. and then complaint is blue. But the steady what I

  523. learned about steady, So I'm a green, yellow, steady influential.

  524. But the steady people we had a supportive, empathetic But

  525. I tell you what the weakness is. Because we don't

  526. know hurt people's feelings, then we don't there to speak

  527. the truth or tell it as it is. So we

  528. try to say nicely, but the message doesn't even get

  529. through all worse still the worst thing, right, And when

  530. we're doing our leadership training, they pointed out, do you

  531. know who are the gossipers in your company? The greed,

  532. the steady? Why because they don't dare to tell you

  533. to your face, so they tell who someone else? Ou Yeah,

  534. So I'm like, oh there was reflecting. I'm like, yeah, Actually,

  535. all those that are very you know, they're the ones

  536. that actually build a community and ones that uh you

  537. know seem seem to they build. They do build good friendships,

  538. you know, and and empathetic and all that, but they're

  539. also the ones that talk sometimes not not on purpersonal

  540. like not not to harm someone, but it's just because

  541. we shy away from telling someone straight to the point.

  542. So like actually, yeah, and you tell someone else and

  543. then what it gets around? So yeah, being honest I'm

  544. front with people sometimes a bit tough. So for us

  545. as a church, let's not let's let's get better at

  546. our communication. I think we can get better at that.

  547. Let's you know, God's what also says, right, speak the

  548. truth in love. Let's tell one another if someone is

  549. getting out of line, walking out a little bit, Let's

  550. try to bring that person back in love. I can

  551. speak in love, but can still be direct. Don't beat

  552. around the bush too much. And then when I'm going

  553. through the training and so on giving feedback so hard,

  554. I tell you the trainer tell me, like, you know,

  555. your warmth is already there one. Now you just need

  556. to be more what's the word assertive? Yes, you need

  557. to up on your assertiveness and directness because the warmth

  558. are okay, do you but you just need to get

  559. to point. Don't like, you know, kind of a little bit,

  560. you know, you add all these like things to soften okay,

  561. also my weakness. But yeah, let's learn to really just help,

  562. you know, guide each other, bring each other back, tell

  563. the person not tell someone else. Let's love one another

  564. and you don't really be that community that's safer. Yeah,

  565. a man, and the motivation of community is love. It

  566. is love. Look chatter ten. Verse twenty seven says, so

  567. he answered and said, you shall love the Lord your

  568. God with all your heart, with all your soul, with

  569. all your strength, and with all your mind. And does

  570. it end there? And your neighbor as yourself. You will

  571. read that also in Matthew chapter twenty two, verse thirty

  572. seven to thirty eight. And what is the great commandment?

  573. The first and the great commandment Jesus says, is this

  574. the Lord your God with all, and love your neighbor

  575. as yourself. So I think with that guidance, you know,

  576. that's what community is, loving one another as ourselves. So

  577. if you were to follow the Great Commandment, first and

  578. great commandment, let's look at love. The five things that

  579. we can learn about love. Number one is look we

  580. look out for each other. Are we looking at each

  581. other's thoughts or we're looking out for each other. Let's

  582. look out for each other. Yeah, put out any gossips,

  583. any ill talk, bring it to the person themselves. You know,

  584. if there are any misunderstandings, conflicts, let's talk it out.

  585. Let's talk it out and look out for anyone who's

  586. you know, maybe you can see they're struggling, tired, it's okay,

  587. want to ask, Okay, how can I pray for you? Yeah?

  588. Number two is listen, listen and not just take turns

  589. to speak. Why do you think God give us two

  590. years and one moth? But the problem in this world

  591. right is that everyone wants to say something. Everyone wants

  592. to speak, and even in leadership we always learn listening

  593. is that you is a skill that is it's hard

  594. to find and it's also hard to acquire. And even

  595. when we're undergoing these cow trainings, right, giving feedback and

  596. coaching and all that, everyone struggles with the listening part.

  597. Why because we're already thinking what do I need to

  598. say next? What advice can I give? You're already thinking, a, hey,

  599. you didn't even hear what a person say? No, but

  600. the moner persons start. You already have a picture of

  601. actually what I want to say, but we're actually not

  602. really listening. Can we listen more? Yeah, it's it's a

  603. crucial skill. Now those gonna start working on that or

  604. actually does already in the working skill. It is a

  605. crucial skill in leadership to listen first, don't need to

  606. be so quick to speak and just listen us listen

  607. to understand. Then you will know what to say. Yeah,

  608. how many of us? How many? Is like speaking to

  609. people who they asked you one question then before you

  610. gave it answered the really talking about something else, or

  611. while you're explaining, they are I don't know cutting in right.

  612. I mean, we've all we've all had those kind of

  613. conversations and maybe we are those people. Some time to

  614. reflect a bit and yeah, let's let's listen a bit

  615. more this year. Number three lens love is also lending.

  616. Ready to lend a helping hand can be anywhere here

  617. in church, in your workplace, in your schools. Look out

  618. there's someone need help. Yeah, just learn a hand. D

  619. So the fourth point is leads. You know. The reason

  620. I say yes to leading my team the first time

  621. I say yes to the manager's position was not because

  622. I wanted the position I don't like because I don't

  623. like delaving conflicts and I don't like confrontation. Again, I'm

  624. a green, steady, so management position is you know, it

  625. will it will test me, it will stretch me. So

  626. I didn't want to take it. But the reason why

  627. I say yes is because I loved the people the team,

  628. and some of you eve heard that story is because

  629. there was a toxic leader and that person left. But

  630. I was afraid that if I let someone else again

  631. from outside, come in, it's going to be the same thing,

  632. someone who brings in politics, and so I said yes.

  633. I mean, that wasn't the only reason, because God also

  634. said just take it up. But the main motivation of overcoming.

  635. My fear was, Yeah, I love these people and I

  636. don't want them to have to go through all that

  637. politics and toxicity again, and so I, God, I just

  638. do this. So if you love, you will lead. You

  639. lead consistently, You lead confidently and courageously by example. Right,

  640. those of you love your families, You lead your families.

  641. You love your homies. You lead your homies because you

  642. want to lead them to the right place, in the

  643. right direction. Men. And lastly, but not least, the fifth

  644. point is leaves. Not leave the church or leave, not

  645. leave your family, leave a legacy worth following and continuing

  646. without compoulsion. The question is will the people miss you

  647. and you're not around. I always ask this to my staff,

  648. and please work in such a way that when you leave,

  649. we will miss you. Don't when you leave, andyone like, yes,

  650. good readers, it's gone. No you want them, you know

  651. you want to be missed, right, you know people are like,

  652. oh my god, thank god, it's gone. No, like, please stay.

  653. So there's there's something that I mean, is I don't know,

  654. you know, it is fifty to fifty is probably less

  655. than that. Most people don't leave. On a very good

  656. note from my experience at my workplace. I don't know

  657. about yours. But those that really leave on a good note,

  658. you can tell when people miss them. We're still in touch.

  659. But those who don't, Yeah, things goes around. On what

  660. comes around, people will still come back referral. Right, something

  661. is to check that with the company. So I encourage

  662. my stuff please leave well. And you know, don't just

  663. leave well, but throughout your whole working time life, just

  664. work so that people will miss you when you're gone.

  665. All right, only cover how many okay tree pages? Okay,

  666. we'll be enter the next page. In Zachariah chapter seven,

  667. verse nine to ten, sais that says a lot of

  668. hosts execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to

  669. his brother. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless,

  670. the alien, or the poor. Let none of you plan

  671. evil in his heart against his brother. God is always

  672. looking at community, looking at the needs around. Right, there's

  673. there's the needy, and he wants us to show more

  674. see and compassion to one another, and to eron out

  675. there as well. And if you look at the ten commandments,

  676. you know and memorize the ten commandments the kids probably have.

  677. I know there are songs at all, but adults, something's

  678. gonna remember. But if you reach her. The tank commanments

  679. the first four. First four are about God, right, should

  680. have no other gods, no idols, don't use the name

  681. of God in vain and the Sabbath. But the other

  682. six are what Yeah, it's all about people. How do

  683. you treat your neighbor? I do not lie to a murder,

  684. don't steal, do not covered. It's all how do we

  685. live with each other in community? Six has a majority

  686. of the ten commments is how do we live in community?

  687. Are we living that out? I wanted to say so

  688. before I go to the next point on training communication.

  689. I really believe the the enemy knows that if he

  690. can break down communication, he can break community. And if

  691. he can break community, he can break the church. Right

  692. do you agree? If it destroys communication, break down all

  693. of us miscommunication thing all the time, then we don't

  694. want to be friends. Ready, then we've lost community and

  695. that's it. There's no watch and so let's not get

  696. caught off God. My encouragement to us this year, don't

  697. be surprised now when our friendships are tested, when we

  698. sometimes step on each other's toes get on each other's

  699. nerves and we do like together that that will happen.

  700. And we get close enough they can smell that other

  701. person's breath. But these things may happen, will happen. Actually,

  702. I think the enemy does use this to break us down.

  703. So let's not. Let's not let him have his way. Yeah,

  704. we're better than that. Let's stick to God's way. Let's

  705. always use love, all right. So I'm going to the

  706. fifth C, which is college. Everyone's in college. Who wants

  707. to go back to college? No thanks even for saying

  708. no thanks, universitys. But training, Okay, we need training, and

  709. this is part of the preparation. Okay, we want to

  710. emphasize on training like never before. We of course, we

  711. have apps, we have our X Pioneers Preparations schools, and

  712. we have been through the classes. If you have not

  713. signed up for one, now okay, pick up, pick up.

  714. Our class get equipped. Because the more people are trained,

  715. the more that we are equipped, then we are you know,

  716. we also get excited and confident to do what God

  717. has called you to do. It's when we are not

  718. equipped we are we know, we're not confident to do it,

  719. then they cannot be doing it to step out. But

  720. when you're confident, then you get excited to do it right.

  721. You get excited to test out your new skill. And

  722. we don't want to send anyone out before training them.

  723. I mean, I know we can get better this. Sometimes

  724. we just trust people like can hit the ground running,

  725. but we do. We do want to train. We do

  726. want to train you because the end goal of training

  727. is number one, to make disciples, number two producing leaders,

  728. and number three to raise and release Daniel's into the marketplace. Again,

  729. you talk about Daniel just now, just the supernatural, each

  730. of you in your marketplace. That's the way the supernatural

  731. is going to happen. And how can we But how

  732. can we be a Daniel if we are not firstly

  733. discipled and we are not taught to lead. Daniel was

  734. a leader, really a leader. I mean he was put

  735. right after that after he interpreted the dream. We told

  736. the dream interpreted, then he was put He's in the

  737. King's thats really, He's like the hit the main wise

  738. person there to give advice to the king. So how

  739. many of us want to believe for that, You in

  740. your marketplace, you in your universities, God can put you

  741. in that place of influence and authority. Man back. First,

  742. be a disciple, learn to lead, and then yeah, we

  743. will release you into the marketplace a man. Okay, the

  744. last lap ingredients of discipleship, who are on page twenty five,

  745. So still talking about preparation and what are ingredients of discipleship?

  746. So the question is how do we make disciples? Can

  747. we talk about it all year? But maybe like everything's

  748. just like can I remember the whole last year? Okay?

  749. I give you three ingredients. The first is follow me, yeah,

  750. or Paul says, imitate me. It's that imitate Christ. Jesus

  751. said follow me. Discipleship is not about following a program, right,

  752. but it's people following people. That is how Jesus did it.

  753. That is how Paul did it. That is how we

  754. want to do it. We know how to do something

  755. because we have seen others do it right a lot

  756. of times. We see how some of you who have

  757. taken up charing in your homes, you know how to

  758. check us. You saw your homes leader chair, then now

  759. you can chare right. You see how someone worship leads

  760. and then you learn to worship lead. You see you

  761. see how others care for someone I remember when I

  762. was newer, new and X. I just saw how my

  763. heart leader cared for us, looked out for us, and

  764. then I just do the same, just repeat, follow, imitate,

  765. just did as she did. You see how your leaders teach,

  766. how they pray, how they serve, how they preach. I mean,

  767. I'm a I'm a new preacher, right, so I'm observing

  768. all the other preachers to learn learn from them. What

  769. can I pick up? What the good things I can

  770. pick up? What not to do? But yeah, we learn.

  771. We learn from observing others. And we we also learn

  772. how to have faith. Right, Seeing others have faith encourages

  773. us to have faith. So follow me. Number two, Feed

  774. my sheep. Jesus asked Peter right three times do you

  775. love me? And three times he said, feed my sheep,

  776. feed my lambs. So let's continue to feed our sheep. Yeah,

  777. we are also we are feeding you. We are feeding

  778. you not just with knowledge, you know, but with truth,

  779. with experiences. And we hope that you all will feed

  780. others as well. Can not enough, right, one person feed

  781. all the sheep. Need more people feeding the sheep, then

  782. more sheep can come, more people can come into the

  783. h and become sheep. But yeah, let's continue, because that

  784. is really what it's after Jesus. I mean, you think

  785. about it. Why would he ask Pitter that so many times?

  786. Do you love me?

  787. Yes?

  788. Feed my sheep? Do you love me?

  789. Yes? Fed my sheep?

  790. Do you love me?

  791. Yes?

  792. Lord, I already said I love you, feed my sheep.

  793. So if you love Jesus, you love our father. Let's

  794. feed the sheep. Amen. And the third one fishes off men,

  795. fishes of men. So first we follow, we follow Jesus,

  796. we follow Paul as poor followed Christ. Then we feed

  797. the sheep. But doesn't stop there. We don't want to

  798. just keep getting fed also, right, because you get fat.

  799. You keep getting fed, you get fat when we're on

  800. the receiving end. But let's exercise faith by giving through

  801. making disciples. We want to make more disciples. It's my

  802. fishes of men. Right, Jesus has told all these disciples

  803. you will be fisius of men. And they are two basically,

  804. you know the five ws. Right, we've gone through the ws.

  805. And what's the fifth one? Witness? Witness is the fifth one.

  806. It's also been a weakest one, yeah, but is one

  807. of the most important ones. And I hope you'll double

  808. down this year to look at witnessing, to really ask

  809. God for it, courage that that boldness and men.

  810. So that.

  811. There are two foundations that we must know as disciples

  812. of Christ. One is the Great Commandment. Okay, what does

  813. it say, Read this with me March at the twelve

  814. or thirty. Love the Lord your God, with all your heart,

  815. with all your soul, with all your mind, and with

  816. all your strength. That's the Great commandment. And then the

  817. Great Commission, reading with me as well, make disciples of

  818. all nations Matthew twenty eight, verse nineteen. And both of

  819. these have the word all yeah, right in there, all

  820. all past I came out with this. Well, God gave

  821. uster this phrase. Right from small to mall, will take all.

  822. This was bettin one. Right from small to mall, we'll

  823. take all. And what this means is just growing small

  824. right from your homes, growing small to bing, from our

  825. homes to Sanctuary mall, from our church to Sactary Mare,

  826. s tre mall actually very small, more than you know.

  827. They're bigger malls. But have we even have weone gotten

  828. these small?

  829. Have we do? We know?

  830. All the people here I'm speaking to myself. So do

  831. we know all the vendors, have we you know, made

  832. friends with them at least know their name because we're

  833. here every week, but we go. We should try to,

  834. you know, get to know some the people working here.

  835. And I was really encouraged when I heard in Subang Subang,

  836. same thing, right the bell in Summit another small mall,

  837. but Summit more. But there's one one lady who has

  838. been making friends and reaching out to all the different

  839. shop owners. I can't remember her name now, but I

  840. know she's been doing that, and so she's made friends

  841. with different ones. I think saw them, you know, visit

  842. church even if they can because they have to open

  843. a shop, right, but they will at least come in

  844. sing two worship songs and then going go and work.

  845. But they just still want to make it for the

  846. eight am so's anyway, they just can be in God's

  847. presents for a while. But she's been reaching out to

  848. the people in Summit, and yeah, let's do that in

  849. Sexuary mall as well. I know that this one lady

  850. was doing it. And then they taught on the homes

  851. I mean as a church and they say, hey cannot

  852. be her Alonela. All of a sudden need to come.

  853. So they did. They came around her. You know, they

  854. had different things I think leading up to Christmas, et cetera.

  855. But but yeah, we can do more. We can reach

  856. this mall as well. But it's not just the mall, right,

  857. it's it's the message is growing small to grow big,

  858. and to do that we need everyone. We need all people,

  859. all your talents, all your time, all your resources, and

  860. really let's encouragement is, let's give out all use everything

  861. we have to make sure that everyone we have is

  862. on board. Right, We want everyone to be on board

  863. because you can reach someone that I can't, right, Soney

  864. and John reaching pickupboor community. I can't because I can't

  865. really play play little bit Kiddence Chloe Jan can reach

  866. the key pop community, dance community out there. I can't

  867. to already go there, who's his auntie? But all of

  868. you can reach a community, a community that I can't.

  869. So we need every one of you. All of you

  870. count and we don't want anyone left out. Not one

  871. person should be missed out. Okay, all of you can't,

  872. and if you didn't, we wouldn't bother share sharing this

  873. with all of you, right, We know that each of

  874. you can't you have a part to play. God has

  875. a plan for you this year, you know. Just let's

  876. let's take hold and let's picture this year. God has

  877. a plan for you. But how do we do it?

  878. We joined to a close soonerady, how do we do it?

  879. Number one? Educate? Educate? Right, we say, I do you watch?

  880. So I'm telling all of you now when your homes leader,

  881. cherry leading communions, sharing the word, observe, look, see, watch,

  882. watch how they do it, because one day you might

  883. be in those shoes. Right. Second leads to equip. So

  884. now I do and you help? So we bring you in,

  885. bring into help, get some hands on, hands on training,

  886. and then we encourage. Now we asked you to do

  887. you chair? What do you just pray for the offering? Right?

  888. Start off with that? You do? I help? What do

  889. you lead? Comunion? Okay? I give you guide lines what

  890. to say, and then empower. Now you do I watch

  891. if you do anything wrong, like I give you feedback,

  892. I tell you I guide you. So those are the fourties.

  893. And you see, Peter, he did the same thing as Jesus. Right,

  894. Jesus raised someone from the date little on Peter did

  895. the same thing. He just we make whatever Jesus did

  896. when he was on earth and then petered it the

  897. same thing. Okay, so we want to do and teach.

  898. We don't want to just teach and don't do. We

  899. also don't want to just do and not teach. So

  900. we want to do both of this. And why it's

  901. an investment, that's the last word. The investment. I see

  902. in even my workplace, those that I see are observing

  903. and then following. They watch, and then I encourage them

  904. to do the same, even in the marketplace, right, it's

  905. not even in church. In the marketplace, those that take

  906. up that I see potential to become leader, I do

  907. the same with them, and then I see them become successful.

  908. I share in my head yesterday because I have a

  909. prayer prayer huddle, right, I started a prayer prayer group

  910. and at the beginning, and none of them wanted to

  911. pray out loud on or shy some a Catholics, so

  912. you know, it's not normal for them to do that.

  913. But as the months have gone past, slowly, one by

  914. one start at least seeing short press. I encourage them

  915. try and try, and even once I think one I

  916. did didn't. I didn't even ask her to, but she didn't. Like, Hey,

  917. your first time praying out loud. But yeah, we want

  918. to do that for everyone around us. Yeah. Amen, So

  919. it's an investment, you know, if we say we tithe

  920. our time, ten percent, our time, our talent, our treasure.

  921. You know, let's do that together this year. Amen. Amen,

  922. extreme can come can come up there of course, some

  923. reflection questions for you there to check your heart, just reflect.

  924. I mean, we don't want this year to pass us

  925. by and just another year. Let's really take hold of

  926. what God has for us. Prophesy speak into your into

  927. your life, into your ministry, into your marketplace, you know,

  928. speak into it.

  929. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
