You're listening to a Message to Go from X Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
Theme revival for twenty and twenty six by going back
-
to what was shared in twenty and one, so.
-
That everyone, not just my leaders, but.
-
Everyone in ex church will understand, we'll be able to
-
We call it the Unpacking Series, So we want to
-
unpack the vision with you, unpack the mission of this
-
church with you, so that we can understand it.
-
And when we understand it, we can.
-
Undertake to do the will of God in and through
-
and for this church.
-
We're all still on the same page, all right, So.
-
Let's if you have this booklet, you can go ahead
-
and turn to page number thirty nine. I believe it's
-
part five, the second last part of this Unpacking series.
-
For those of you who are new, you.
-
Can get the videos that I think was has been
-
recorded already. Emptyg's right, there should be at least four
-
mptgs now, EMPTG just means message to go. You know,
-
we've got burgers to go, we've got French fries to go,
-
we've got milkshake to go. So I thought to myself,
-
why not have message to go as well? Which will
-
really encourage you more than French Fries could ever do.
-
So message to go.
-
Four messages now in the last four weeks will have
-
the four parts. Then of course today we will record
-
the fifth part and so you can watch all five parts,
-
but you know, probably within a week or two, and
-
I think we will put up the QR code at
-
the end of this service so that you can QR
-
and get the other messages, so that you can if
-
you're new, if you're not new to this church, that
-
you would have known already what we've been talking about. Now,
-
can I just very quickly review some things with you? However,
-
if you remember the tree, l's the tree else.
-
Is is this? Or ah? These excuse my English? The
-
three ls? Are these? The loss, the leaders, the eleven.
-
So I've just got to review with you so that
-
you understand and you can follow part five easily. So
-
so we have this vision that includes numbers, numbers of
-
souls saved, numbers of disciples made.
-
And uh again I want.
-
To just remind you that all that was shared in
-
the last four Sundays and uh. Part of what was
-
shared was that the challenge to this vision, the challenge
-
meaning to say that what could stop this vision from
-
happening is three l's or the lack of tree ls,
-
meaning to say that the first L is lost, the
-
loss right once said before that the church that does
-
not reach the lost is lost it's health. So the
-
loss is very important in seeing the vision of X
-
Church come to pass. We will not get to the
-
ten thousand people, we will not get to the many
-
churches planted. Now we are in eleven countries EX Church
-
including Malaysia, and I think the latest count is about
-
sixty churches around the world. By the grace of God,
-
we give him all the glory. But what God is
-
after is not just numbers. He loves people. He loves
-
the loss. And so EX Church will never be able
-
to see our vision come to pass if we don't
-
have a heart for the Okay, Number two is you
-
have to have leaders leading this vision. And the leaders
-
must have a heart for the loss, and they must
-
also be desirous discipline to be able to carry out
-
God's work.
-
And so that's why the last L, the third L
-
is eleven.
-
And what eleven means if you don't understand, is you
-
know when you the Bible talks about putting heaven into
-
the door and then the door just expands. Do you
-
know that the door was never asked permission, as in
-
when the lady, the woman in the Bible put the
-
leaven in or the yeast in like some of you
-
women who you know, or maybe men who probably make
-
bread or bake bread, and you know the power of
-
the yeast that the yeast or the leaven never asks permission.
-
It just goes in and it does the work.
-
And this is what we need in our lives because
-
you know, there's a scripture in the Bible where Jesus
-
says pray to the Lord of the harvest to send
-
out laborers. Do you know the words send in the
-
Greek is egg ballow. Egg balllow means kick out. Another
-
word is tear out. It's like, you know, tearing someone's
-
hair out. Ah, kicking somebody out, nor permission needed. Uh,
-
it's it's it's almost like an ect of violence. But
-
that is the actual meaning when Jesus says pray to
-
the lot of hars to egg barlow, to send out,
-
to kick out, to push out. Why is this word
-
so violent is because many of us, if not all
-
of us in this room, are creatures of comfort.
-
We like comfort.
-
We like to sit on our lazy chair, watch TV,
-
do our gardening. Well that's not too bad, but you know,
-
just just just we like to do things ourselves.
-
What we like.
-
We like ice cream, we like food, We like to
-
go out on the holiday. We like the beach pasadeniel.
-
We like the rays shining on our face. We like
-
celebrating birthdays. We like you know, comfort. We are creatures
-
of comfort. So when the Bible says, or when Jesus says,
-
go out and make disciples, it's very hard for us
-
to do that because we don't like to be rejected.
-
We don't like to be uh what's the other word, Yeah,
-
just just people not paying attention to us.
-
It's a tough job to make disciples.
-
So, because we are very comfortable, if I went around
-
this room right now and ask how many have you
-
shared the gospel this last week, I think most of
-
you will say.
-
That we didn't.
-
If I asked us how about this whole month, I
-
think most of us will say we didn't.
-
Do you understand?
-
Uh, it is not the easy. But if I ask
-
how many of you had ice cream? Maybe most of
-
you will say, yes, how many? How many of you
-
had dessert. Most of you say, yes, how have you
-
went on a holiday this one last thirty days?
-
Yes? How many have you went on the plane? Yes?
-
How many of you went to your favorite restaurant? Yes?
-
How many have you made a disciple? No? How many
-
have you made? You know? And it's a very command
-
of Christ.
-
So do you understand that when Jesus says pray to
-
the Lord of the harvest to send out, do you
-
know why it has to be violent? He has to
-
be violent because we won't move unless we won't move
-
unless we go to our favorite restaurant in time and
-
time again for the last ten years, and the same
-
waiter waits on us.
-
In fact, we are, you know, so familiar with the
-
waiter the witnesses.
-
I don't even need to know your order because I
-
know what drink you want and I know what food
-
you want. But that waiter has never been witnessed to,
-
not once.
-
You know. But but we are very happy and way
-
for milliarus. Do you understand?
-
I mean, I have to tell myself every time I
-
go to a restaurant that that waiter will go to
-
a christless eternity. Hell, And yet I've seen him for
-
ten years and he's waited on me. Now I know
-
he's very past the early morning scholars. So no, no,
-
I'm not schooling. I'm just telling facts. You understand, you
-
under staying. It's very easy for us to do easy things.
-
But the Lord says, send out egg ballow that, my Lord,
-
they've gotta be kicked out of their comfort zone. Yeah,
-
so that's what leven is. Leven just means he's going
-
to force something to happen so.
-
That this door will rise.
-
And no, it doesn't rise because someone asks its permission.
-
It just rises because there's eleven, and Leven does its job.
-
Now we need leven in our lives. We do.
-
We need some discipline, We need some reminder, and not
-
just from the pastor on a Sunday. We need to
-
go to the restaurant and go like, oh, what did
-
Jesus tell me to do again?
-
Eat as much as you can. No, no, he did tell
-
me that. What do you tell me to do again? Yeah?
-
All your favorite hes. No, he didn't tell me the
-
whold on minute? What did he tell me again? Go
-
and make disciples, go and preach the gospel. Okay, okay,
-
Lord help me. Now this is a new year. I
-
don't want to go to my favorite restaurant. We lot
-
at least showing the waiter that I'm saying grace.
-
At least that start with that. Lie.
-
You know, some course some of us saying grace or
-
so we ma alou a shame. But maybe we start
-
with that. Maybe you find it hard to tell the waiter, hey, waiter,
-
where you're from? Oh myan Ma ma and ma, oh,
-
jesuiting my day. You know, maybe you learn their language.
-
Jesuiting my day means thank you. Oh the reader say
-
how you know my language? Or because I have a
-
church in Meyama. Do you know I have a church
-
in Mayan maa, oh, you have a church in Miyama own.
-
And then we go into the Sometimes I joke so
-
because I love them, are Chin and Catchin. You know,
-
there's their tribe. So they say, oh, we're Chein. I said,
-
I'm Chined too. You know I've kend thet cheened okay,
-
And then you know that we get the joe. There's
-
ex church Mayan ma And then I go on and
-
I go on and actually most of them cart Chins
-
and Chins are Christian, but they don't get to go
-
to church so I you know, I've got to egg
-
balow myself. Maybe that's why God put so many churches
-
extras everywhere, so that you can meet somebody and say, oh, yeah,
-
there's also ex Thailand, you know, check my you know,
-
uh somebody.
-
You know and copcom craft yeah, and and and they go,
-
oh you looked high. Oh yeah.
-
And when I when I, when I meet uh the Filipinos,
-
I love it. No, uh slama polama. You know, I
-
even know whole song in Taalo. You know that, you
-
know that the whole song is boo hi boo hi
-
boo hi live, live, live forever more. The Filipinos who
-
asked me how you know that's all? We used to
-
have a church in acts in philip in Philippines in Palawan.
-
Oh really or really? Yes? How long ago? Five years ago? Okay?
-
No, so so so you know it's it's really really
-
you know, I have to egg ballow.
-
So the loss, the leaders and the eleven mm hmm okay.
-
By time is pointing to the notes and reminding me
-
to finish, because I get so excited talking to you,
-
you know, because I haven't I haven't preached you a
-
long time, so I want to I want to spend
-
some time with you.
-
But it is my wife's birthday and I am thinking
-
her out.
-
So yeah yeah, yeah yeah, Christmas and my wife's birthday
-
is so close, you know, so close. I just get
-
really bankrupt and this God time. Yeah, but it's okay,
-
God provides. Yeah, then anniversary coming. Yeah anyway, okay, hallah,
-
praise God.
-
Last week you should have learned this.
-
Okay, so so so we have a vision from the Lord.
-
We need to have a heart for the loss. We
-
need to have leaders that will lead the way. We
-
need to have leven because after we listen to this message,
-
we might just go home and go like forget it.
-
I pray you won't forget it. I pray that there
-
will be eleven in your heart to go like expand
-
you cause you to rise like dough is. But we
-
we learned something last week. I think I wasn't here
-
last week.
-
I was where was? I said you? Yeah, my wife
-
and I were Okay, God's diet. Remember God's diet.
-
God's diet just means God's way. You know, when the
-
king was going to serve all his men, right, the.
-
King's delicacies steak you.
-
Woh you beef Okay, what did Daniel and his friends
-
choose to live on? Vegetables and water? Vegetables and water,
-
they wanted God's diet. God's diet is really very different
-
from man's diet. So man's diet could be, Oh, let's
-
build a church, and let's have beautiful lights.
-
How much are the lights.
-
It's gonna take us a million ring it to buy
-
really beautiful lights. And then let's have a big band,
-
let's have all the sound, and let's have all this,
-
and and and you go from one place to another place,
-
and sometimes you could see a diet away that may
-
draw people, and then you get tempted to do it
-
that way, to eat that kind of diet. And then
-
the Lord speaks and he says, Kenneth, you will not
-
do it that way.
-
And and you say, what way do you want me
-
to do it? God?
-
Because that way seems to be working. They're drawing thousands
-
of people. And God says, no, no, no, no, Hold
-
on a minute. I know the ice cream and the
-
cakes are looking good, and the steaks. But I'm going
-
to ask you right now to go on my diet.
-
I said, God, your diets, what's your diet? I'm going
-
to ask you to do it this way vegetables and water.
-
But God, it doesn't make sense. How many of you
-
know that when God speaks to you are it doesn't
-
always make sense. And sometimes it's the total opposite from
-
what the world does.
-
You understand, total opposite.
-
And the Lord also spoke to me, he says Kenneth,
-
I gave you a heart for Malaysia. I gave you
-
a heart to make sure that the churches in Clanton
-
are doing well, the churches in Turgano are doing well,
-
the churches in Police are doing well. Many churches are
-
closing down in Malaysia. I'm so sorry to say. I've
-
got a friend who is the head of the Baptist
-
church who says, if there's nothing done this year, at
-
least ten more Baptist churches will close. Not enough young
-
people are answering the call to serve God. Not enough
-
young people are going to Bible school. People are not interested.
-
So the church in Malaysia is really under attack. And
-
I don't want to go to a church in Clanton
-
to say you need to have one hundred thousand rings
-
it to do up all you know, to make sure
-
everything is lighted up and your sound system is great
-
before you can do church. I just can't get myself
-
to tell them you need to do this before you
-
can get people. I want to be able to go
-
to the churches, the small churches they only have fifty people,
-
forty one hundred, and tell them there is a diet
-
called a God's diet, and if you have it, it's as
-
cheap as vegetables and water. You don't need a huge
-
budget to see God move in your land. My heart
-
is really for East Coast, you know, I've been talking
-
to the pasts.
-
How much more can we do? What more can we do.
-
For East Coast, for East Malaysia, for Prelice up North,
-
maybe even for Joho that it's facing some challenges. So
-
I want you to understand I'm not looking for man's diet.
-
I'm looking for God and God's diet, God's way. So
-
we interpret the vision that God gives through the knowing
-
of God's diet. What is God's diet for ex Church?
-
So that you don't go around saying, you know, why
-
don't we have this pastor why don't we have that?
-
We want to do it God's way what God has
-
said to us the diet, But listen to me. After
-
ten days of eating vegetables and drinking water, Daniel and
-
his three friends were stronger, better looking, fatter, the Bible says,
-
and healthier than all the other men that ate the
-
diet of the world.
-
Are you also doing with me?
-
If you dare, by faith take up God's challenge to
-
do it God's way, I guarantee you we are going
-
to prosper all right, not just us, but all these
-
other churches that talk about in different parts of Malaysia.
-
They don't need another format that they can't afford, you know,
-
talking about young people.
-
Let's just talk about this for a moment. When I
-
go and visit.
-
Past us in Alostar in different places in Malaysia that
-
are small and you know, just you know, I said
-
to them, how about your youth group?
-
Right? Do you have youth leaders?
-
You know what most of them tell me, Pastor, we
-
lose our young people already after form five. We don't
-
have young people. After form five. They go to kl
-
they go to Pinang, they go to Singapore. We don't
-
have a future because when they go after form five,
-
they don't come back. That's why churches in Malaysia don't
-
have a future. So we're praying for God's diet. God,
-
give us a diet, Give us a plan, you know,
-
talking about diet planner. Give us a plan, your plan
-
from heaven how we can make a difference for Malaysia.
-
Otherwise Malaysia will not have a future as far as.
-
The Church is concerned. Eybody, okay with this?
-
We want God's diet, the way to do it that
-
does not cause an arm in the leg, that doesn't
-
have to have you know, PhDs and and and all
-
that comes. No, no, no, no, we can do it
-
with whatever and whoever God gives us.
-
Can I hear good? Amen?
-
Then flowing from God's diet, we need the daily Bread.
-
So if God's diet is God's way, or let's let's
-
use the word will. If God's diet is God's will,
-
this is God's will for Malaysia, This God's will for
-
ex Church. Then what's God's way. God's way comes from
-
what we call the daily bread. So when we look
-
at the daily Bread, we need to start making a checklist.
-
That's what you learned last week.
-
Make a list, Make a list of what God is
-
saying to you and me that we need to do.
-
So if If winning souls is important to ex church,
-
then you know.
-
How will we do it?
-
Is important? The next thing that you learned last week
-
is tithing. So God will give you the idea and
-
God will give you the initiative tithing. If if daily
-
bread is downloadading from the Lord, tithing is uploading.
-
What will we give to the Lord? What will we do?
-
And finally you learn the word leven, which is important.
-
Okay, So I just want to close this part by
-
reminding you what happened last week. We want to moving forward.
-
Make a checklist, make a checklist, like for example, if
-
you really are serious about reaching the loss, then why
-
don't you go home today and start saying, Okay, what
-
is the what is the daily bread? The daily bread
-
is the download? What checklist must I make? So you
-
go home and you say the waiter that I see
-
every week when I go to my favorite restaurant, I
-
hope that I can reach that guy.
-
What's his name? I don't know, Samuel? Okay? Uh? Then
-
you say tithes? What will I do? What will I
-
commit too?
-
So the first word is checklist, the second word is commit,
-
and the third word is make it count.
-
So make a checklist.
-
This the three people I want to reach in the
-
minds of Fabruary, coming Fabruary.
-
Then make a commitment.
-
I will go to this restaurant and I will start
-
to make a composition and then make that composition count
-
its leven, all right, So I hope that is a
-
good summary of what we have been doing. Now let's
-
move to today's lesson. Today we want to start with
-
the tithe ladies and gentlemen, brothers.
-
This is here.
-
I want to reveal something to you that you might
-
or might not know about your pastor and how I
-
have been living the abundant life and the life. Not
-
to say that I don't have trouble, not to say
-
that I know I problems I have, Not to say
-
I don't have challenges.
-
I have sometimes more than.
-
Usual because I serve the Lord. But I want to
-
tell you that I have a great wife, I have
-
a great home. I have a family that has been
-
coming to church after twenty years of being lost in
-
the world because twenty years I was praying for them,
-
and now they have come back to the Lord. They
-
have been coming to this church. But I think now
-
they're going to go to the submit church in Subang.
-
I've been blessed, I've traveled the world, and.
-
So on and so forth.
-
I want to tell you that if you look at
-
my life and you think I'm blessed, I want to
-
tell you one of the most amazing secrets.
-
Of my life. Some of you know it, some of
-
you are living. Some of you might not know it.
-
One of the greatest secrets in my life is the
-
secret of tithing.
-
Tithing.
-
This has been on my heart since the early days
-
of my Christianity, which is now probably close to forty
-
years ago, actually forty years ago exactly. And the Law
-
taught me from the early age that tithing is not
-
just about money.
-
It's about obedience. It's about putting God first.
-
And so in all my forty years of serving the Lord,
-
and and and and and following the Lord, I have
-
not missed, not once tithing. And this comes from a
-
man that doesn't get a salary. You say, pastor, how
-
do you tie? I just tithe whatever I have I
-
just tied in a way that I want.
-
To please God. See, tithing.
-
Is a statement of who is first in your life.
-
I find that when many Christians suffer and struggle, especially
-
through finances, I usually will sit them down if they
-
allow me to sit them down and I will talk
-
to them about tithing. I often know because the Bible
-
says that if you don't, then the devour will come.
-
So you know why, even though we are earning ten thousand,
-
we end up with nothing, Even though we are earning
-
twenty thousands, we end up with nothing. Even though we
-
just got a bonus ten times you know our salary,
-
we end up with nothing because the devour keeps coming.
-
And it's not just devouring of money, devouring of health,
-
et cetera. Piruse you know why, if he touches your health,
-
you have to spend money touches your health. Spend money
-
touches your health. Supplement touches your health. Medication touches your health.
-
Doctor touches your health. Surgery touches your You understand, it's
-
not to say that once it why you cannot go
-
to the hospital. And I'm just talking about the ones
-
that like every month, every week, all the time for
-
the last ten twenty years.
-
Listen, there's nothing wrong with you, nothing bad, nothing evil
-
about you.
-
But I want you to learn something and I tell you,
-
if you can get this, you will prosper, and not
-
just about money. Because the Lord said, his promise is
-
in Malachi. I will rebuild the divour. I will call him.
-
You know, hey, you count get out of my.
-
Son's life, Get out of my daughter's life, you.
-
Know, because of the tithe. But it's not just because
-
we give money. This is not a club. This is
-
the fact that we put God first all the time.
-
I'm gonna challenge even housewives. Oh but I don't get
-
very very much. Put in whatever it is that is
-
on your heart. God is looking at your heart. Remember
-
the woman with two copper coins, she gave her all. Please, please,
-
If there's nothing else I can teach you, for the
-
rest of my days, I want to tell you put
-
God first.
-
So this notes here you can read it for yourself.
-
The only line there that doesn't have a word is
-
giving God what belongs to him. Giving so you can
-
write that giving God what belongs to him. So I
-
want to tell you a story of what and how
-
the Lord taught me. This tithing began in the guard
-
of Eden, where no money was involved. God said, you see,
-
he put a tree in the midst of the garden.
-
A tree.
-
Now, first of all, the Bible says God created everything,
-
and he said He was all good, including.
-
The tree that should not be eaten. Even that tree
-
is good. Can I hear good? Amen?
-
Because he didn't say I made ninety nine percent good.
-
And then there one tree that's bad. No, the tree
-
itself is not bad. God made it. Everybody see with me.
-
So he made all things, and all things was good.
-
And then he said to the man, don't touch. Can
-
I just be very less? You use some common sense
-
for now, because all of you got common sense, use
-
some commentence for nour where you say, don't touch?
-
Who is master the one who said don't touch?
-
And who's the one who's supposed to follow the one
-
who has been given the induction?
-
Don't touch now?
-
As soon as you can touch, all right, whatever it
-
is that your heart's desires to touch, then you become master.
-
I'm talking common sense now, common sense. Everything in your
-
house right now. If it's yours, you can touch. If
-
it's not yours, you can't. And by not touching something,
-
you are declaring, even without your mouth, you are declaring
-
that I am not God.
-
There is a God bigger than me. I always say
-
with me.
-
So the real issue in the garden is that God
-
wanted to make sure that Adam and Eve always had
-
a reminder that there is a god bigger than them. Hey,
-
Adam was like a god. You know that Adam named
-
all the animals. He named all the animal will come.
-
You know, long neck. You know it was me. I'll
-
just call it long neck animal.
-
You know, something like the Red Indians and you know
-
those days you just call it, say see it long
-
neck neck and uh, big buffalo whatever. But you know
-
this is Adam. Adam was like a god. He was
-
like a god. He was a son of God. He
-
was He was the first one ever created, and God
-
gave him wisdom. And there was one tree. There's one
-
tree God says, don't touch. And there is something called
-
the tithe, the ten percent in our salary which is
-
not supposed to touch because it's not ours. And if
-
every man you get a thousand ringit and the first
-
thing you do is to put one hundred aside. Do
-
you know what you're saying? There is a God who's
-
bigger than that desert I want. There's a God who's
-
bigger than that new pair of shoes I want. Do
-
you know when you set something aside and not touch it,
-
you are not just saying with your mouth. You're saying
-
with your actions, there is something in life I cannot
-
touch because it belongs to.
-
See. People will argue you until cows come home about
-
the tithe.
-
Is he really ten percent? Is he old Testament? Is
-
he new Testament? I just get a little bit tired
-
because you don't understand the real Do you think God
-
even needs your ten percent?
-
Do you really think that God needs your money?
-
Allo, he needs your loyalty, he needs your heart, he
-
needs your obedience, He needs you to make sure that
-
He's always first. And so in your life you just
-
think about it now, are you in your life? You
-
think about it now every day you're living, and you say,
-
I can't touch this, Why, mummy, because this belongs to God.
-
You know why?
-
I get up in the morning and I try not
-
to look at my phone first, because my first hour
-
belongs to God. And when I go into my handphone first,
-
I'm giving somebody else my first hour. So I know
-
sometimes I do follow because I look at it as
-
an emergency. Oh God, this hour is yours, and I'm
-
taking five minutes of your type of your time. I'm
-
thinking five minutes of your time to answer somebody else.
-
Oh God. Sorry, it looks like he is God. I'm
-
so sorry.
-
I just I just answer for the Okay, you're dying,
-
I know, but I'm praying for you, okay. And I
-
will come to the hospital one hour after after this
-
message because I got to spend time with God. You know,
-
you know what I mean. If his emergency, go go
-
to the hospital. But but you know what brand to say.
-
It is like if if that one hour was for
-
your wife, you don't want to give you to any
-
other women.
-
If that one hour was for your husband, you don't
-
want to give you any other man. This is God.
-
Everyone're okay with this. It's very very important.
-
And so Adam and Eve for God, and it took
-
what is God's you know, I mean, the tree was good,
-
tree wasn't bad, and they ate and God, you know,
-
of course they saw they were naked, and you know
-
the rest is history.
-
So I want to I want to encourage you. I
-
want to really encourage you.
-
And and sometimes the richer we get, the more stingy we get.
-
Because giving one ring git out of ten ring git
-
is easy. One hundreds of thousands is easy. Thousands of
-
ten thousand, one hundred thousand, that's got ranging so much.
-
But I'm telling you this, sir, if you take this
-
challenge this morning, I want to say to you, so
-
much more is in store. And please please don't go
-
out of here saying that, well this past I come
-
this morning. I'm talking about money. No, I'm not just
-
talking about money. I'm talking about.
-
Everything in our lives, including your health, your family. A
-
man who is God. He is the god who in
-
your life.
-
You don't want to touch the things that belong to
-
him a man, because if you can touch it, then
-
you are God. All right, so very very important. We
-
want to tie to the Lot now, souls, and we
-
want to tie to the Lord now our obedience to
-
fulfill the vision.
-
I try to tithe.
-
To the Lot every day two point four hours, because
-
it's twenty four hours a day.
-
So I try to tithe to the Lord my time,
-
not just my money.
-
I say, Lord, if twenty four hours you give me,
-
then two point four hours must belong to you.
-
So I try. I try to do my quiet time
-
for about two hours, but sometime I can't finish. Somebody.
-
I do want to have hours.
-
This morning, I need it one hour because I had
-
to come here by seven, so you know, in my mind,
-
I'm still owing God what I half hours. But I
-
try in different ways to you know, pray, I try
-
in different ways to minister. I try in different ways
-
come to church or so one hour, two hours, okay, So,
-
but every day I try to tithe. I want you
-
to think about that every day in your life. Lord,
-
whatever you give me, ten percent belongs to you. If
-
you give me this health, then ten percent of.
-
My health belongs to you. And if I keep if
-
I keep using.
-
My health only to play golf, I use my health
-
only to go on holiday, then maybe in one day
-
I might not be able to go on holiday anymore
-
because I'll be in the hospital. Because you know, if
-
you keep robbing God, why do my people rob me?
-
If you keep robbing God, then one day our body
-
will have to pay back. But let me let me
-
just remind you that you know, tithing is not just
-
about money, is about whatever God gives you. Tithe that
-
to the Lord. Can I hear a good amen?
-
All right? So with.
-
Tithing, let's move on. Now what can you tithe? You
-
can tithe in prayer. Look at all your nice drawings there.
-
You can tithe in serving. So there are some people
-
in this room, maybe not many, because Pasadenia told me
-
Pasadena there's about fifty percent serving in the house. So
-
let's say one hundred and eighty people come, fifty percent serve.
-
Ninety people are serving, but I'm wondering where the other
-
ninety people are. So can you please this year twenty
-
twenty six, choose something to serve?
-
Please?
-
Tithe your time when you're coming to church. You're coming
-
to change for two hours. Tithe that that two hours.
-
Tie that time to the Lord by serving him. How
-
about sharing the gospel? Tithe your time at the restaurant.
-
You're going to eat in the restaurant for one hour?
-
Tithe hours tenor was one hour ten ten percent?
-
Or one hour six minutes?
-
Can you just have a conversation with the wait for
-
six minutes, not all at one goal because he has
-
to work us all. You know, everythime he comes back,
-
you know, Jesu with him my day or whatever. You know, Hey, myanma, whatever,
-
you know, my church, you know whatever. Okay, talk talk
-
to some people about Jesus.
-
Make disciples? Are you making disciples? You should? You should
-
take on leadership.
-
Yeah, some of you are very scared of leadership, leadership
-
I do or like like.
-
Like some curse word.
-
No, some play her leader can okay, I will never
-
be a leader.
-
No no, no, take on leadership.
-
Do something, guys, Okay, give because because because you are talented,
-
you are gifted, you are trained already, right, So don't
-
take your leadership and put it into the basket. Take
-
the leadership and use it for the glory of the Lord.
-
Tithe your leader skills, tithe, community work. Yeah, Erin and John,
-
thank you every time you go to the carry Carry Island. Yeah,
-
they're tithing because check go Erin, she's check. Oh you know,
-
she's a teacher and even though she's real, she will
-
always be teacher, and she's tithing her teacher skills very good.
-
And those of you are.
-
Teachers here please, you know, and those of you want
-
to be teachers here, Yeah, go ahead, tie tithe, tithe,
-
otherwise you know you're gonna be throwing into the the drain.
-
Missions missions work everybody, Okay, yeah, this is just you know,
-
how you can tithe?
-
How can I redeem my time for the Lord? Uh?
-
Now uh?
-
Some people say past is not is not money is
-
not a problem. Time time is Yeah, how many have
-
you say that. Even the students will say that, yeah,
-
money no problem. But money no problem. You know, I
-
I give, I give, But time are your time. Time
-
is money. Time is precious. I know, I understand, I understand.
-
Actually we can find my new I know, but just
-
can't find time. So I give you a testimonial. When
-
I went to Indonesia, I met a guy. I think
-
I told you before, but I'll tell you again.
-
Uh.
-
So this guy is the owner of one of the
-
largest toothpaste company in uh either Jakata or Indonesia.
-
Okay.
-
He hires about I don't know, one two thousand staff.
-
Uh and so his father left him. This company makes millions.
-
But he's he's a believer. He goes to church, goes
-
to a very good church. I think it's jack Kata JPCC,
-
Jakata Praise. Yeah, where Sydney Mohidi is. You know, we
-
went to the church before. So but this guy, there's
-
a race.
-
He looks like Albert. Albert. This guy, you know, uh yeah.
-
He's just he just looks like a million dollars, you
-
know what I'm saying. Just looks like Albert. Yeah, but
-
by his size, you know, and his look just like
-
you by.
-
He was wearing bay.
-
So I went for morning breakfast with him because he
-
was at that time the head of the Jagata Praise Church.
-
Businessman Fellowship, and.
-
That church is about maybe fifteen thousand people or twenty
-
thousand people. And I think this is the businessman itself,
-
like a thousand or two thousand, okay, and they give
-
to the Lord very very generously, and they talk about
-
different things that businessmen go through. So he was the chairman,
-
and so I wanted to also build a very strong
-
businessman ministry here in Malaysia for our church.
-
Okay.
-
That's why we call it abc X Business Community, abc
-
X Business Community.
-
So we have that. But I wanted to learn from
-
this guy.
-
And as he's sharing, he said to me, Past Kenneth,
-
you know with us business people are time is the
-
most precious commodity. And I had no time with about
-
two thousand stuff under me, making millions every month and
-
wanting to break into different markets in Indonesia. I don't
-
think it's cogate cogate, but is one Indonesian ban't remember? Uh?
-
And then he said to me, this is what God
-
taught me. I said, what do you teach you, he said,
-
you know, I had a desire. You know, I love
-
my dad so much and I have I had a
-
desire to take him out for a holiday.
-
But my dad was saying, son, you never have any time.
-
You know, I regret giving the company to you because
-
you're busier than me. And he said, Dad, you know
-
I want to do better than you. You know, I
-
hope you'll be proud of me. I want to do
-
better than you. I want to make if you made
-
ten million, I want to make one hundred million.
-
You know, Dad, I'm so sorry.
-
But in his heart, he said, you know, I really
-
want to spend time with my dad before he dies.
-
I want to spend as much time with my dad
-
he said time. He doesn't have the time. He doesn't
-
have time. You know what his challenge was, You know,
-
his challenge was when he came to church every week,
-
he didn't serve because he's business man. And then even
-
the pastors should expect that business man no time. So
-
don't catch out the business maller, don't go to the
-
business personna and made them feel worse. You know, hey,
-
why aren't you serving the lords. I'm making millions out
-
there and I have a lot of staff. Just let
-
me just let me give la. My my calling is giving.
-
Then what my colleague pastor's calling only givra? I actually have
-
to give it. All of us have to give. Yes, amen,
-
my calling is giving, you know. So we tend not
-
to touch business people. Don't touch them sensitive because he
-
works so hard to get money. But this man, he
-
was challenged by the Lord.
-
And by his master.
-
He says, Canlisa Bisaladong b Sa be a.
-
Malayani too hard? Serve God? This is his house.
-
Remember the Bible says I, I'd rather be a dog
-
keeper in the house of the Lord than to be
-
in the tens of the wicked, you know, than to
-
make millions. I want to be a doorkeeper. David or
-
King David said, So, he said, a door keeper. And
-
then he said, but I know time past. He says,
-
I tell you what the Bible says, so and you
-
shall reap.
-
So I want you to start sewing. So you know
-
what he did.
-
He started doing, ushering, multi millionaire, owner of a big company,
-
two thousand stuff under him. But he give bulletin at
-
the door. Okay, give bulletin a the door driver drove him.
-
Bodyguard wa think him, but bulletin at the door because
-
I'd rather be a dog keeper in the house of
-
the Lord.
-
You know what happened As he gave.
-
I know, ten minutes, twenty minutes, thirty minutes to the
-
Lord on a Sunday.
-
You know what happened.
-
The Lord gave him one good manager, very good manager,
-
he says, Pastor even money came out bout his manager.
-
I said, why this goes?
-
His manager loves my company as much as I do,
-
and he will take care of my company like he
-
was his.
-
And then uh, I said, oh, very good. So what
-
what has what has that helped you?
-
He said, now I can not be in the office
-
for a few hours because of this manager. And then
-
go gave me two managers, and then go give me three.
-
They give me ten, then give me give me twenty.
-
And now, Basca, I don't even need to go to
-
the office because the Lord gave me amazing managers. I
-
don't even have to worry. They are making money for
-
me and Barseken. Just to let you know, Jess, this
-
was some years ago. Yeah, I think I talked to
-
him ten years ago.
-
He said.
-
Just recently, I took my father for a one month
-
Europe trip just me and my dad. You know, we
-
hired a car and I drove my dad everywhere in Europe,
-
and that it was my heart desire.
-
I always wanted to spend time my dad. See.
-
The thing is, the Bible says, what you show you
-
a rep do you believe it or not? Do you
-
believe it or not?
-
All right? All you can continue living twenty twenty six
-
like you live twenty twenty five and has the same problems,
-
same challenges.
-
If you want to see a breakthrough, I pray that
-
you will begin to redeem the time. Every Okay, all right?
-
Give to Caesar what is caeesars? And to God what
-
is God's? Oh, Jesus, should we give text Jesus is
-
bring a coin?
-
Right, bring a coin? Whose face is on this coin? Caesar?
-
Give to Caesar what is caesars?
-
But when you look at each other, whose face are you?
-
You are made in the image of God. So give
-
to Caesar what is esars? And give to God what
-
is God's? Who is God's you? Because the coin has
-
Caesar's face, but your life has his face. So better
-
give to God what belongs to him.
-
Amen, Praise the Lord. Ay do you okay, all right.
-
So what action am I going to take to give
-
God what belongs to him?
-
Ah? You decide, Ah, you decide. Okay, what is the
-
significance of twenty years? Now? Let me move now into
-
something very prophetic. Okay.
-
Twenty twenty was the year God gave us the diet.
-
The diet was given in twenty twenty. This is the
-
way Exs Church will do it? And can you imagine
-
this in twenty twenty? I gotta read this with you.
-
Do you have it on your notes, sir?
-
Twenty twenty? Way? Is it a yeah? Page forty one? Right?
-
Okay, So in twenty twenty it was so significant. The
-
Lord told me that we will become a Daniel Church
-
twenty twenty.
-
Twenty twenty is perfect vision. Yeah.
-
When you say do you have twenty twenty vision? Means
-
you have perfect vision?
-
All right? When we approach twenty twenty, God gave me
-
the vision.
-
God had brought us through twenty years faithfully using the
-
Joseph dream, and then twenty years in the future using
-
the Daniel vision. Twenty twenty is perfect vision. Even Malaysia
-
experienced a government change in twenty twenty. Do you know
-
that Daniels served four kings, and God showed me that
-
each king was like a government. So in Malaysia, right,
-
every five years, one government, every five years, one government
-
at least elections, at least elections. So in twenty years
-
time there should be about four governments. And that's exactly
-
what Daniels served. He served four kings. So that's prophetic
-
that in twenty years we will see movements in at
-
least four governments. Even if I know I brought him
-
is still the Prime Minister, there will still be movements.
-
There will still be changes, all right.
-
And God is asking ex church to, especially in Malaysia,
-
be ready to serve four elections within twenty years, twenty
-
twenty to twenty forty.
-
Thank you, thank you, Oh praise God. Amen. I don't
-
need the Okay, I can have it. I can have
-
it just in case. Thank you, Praise God. Even Micaelphone
-
must have bellowcase.
-
So let's get excited. Okay, there's a prophetic thing, all right. Now,
-
let's let's move on. So we need to break it down.
-
Everything is about breaking down. If you want to lose weight,
-
you gotta break it down to how much weight you
-
want to lose, how many days you want to use
-
to lose weight. Every plan, every vision must be broken down,
-
and it must be broken down into bite size, smaller pieces. Okay,
-
And what my leaders told me a few years ago
-
was passing. This is how we're gonna break it down.
-
We're gonna make sure that every huddle gets very clear.
-
You can see in your notes. We want to make
-
sure that every one of the one thousand. At that
-
time in twenty twenty one, we at least had one
-
thousand people coming to church.
-
Today we have more than that.
-
But we want to make sure that everyone that God
-
brings to us is accounted for. Okay, so let's just
-
talk about x KK now before I draw to a close.
-
XKK, Puss Daniel, how many people do we have here? Yeah?
-
Okay, hundred and sixty and seventy hundred and eighty Okay, at max.
-
The challenge is this even one ex church to go
-
in one accord in unity to a destination. We want
-
to make sure that everybody goes along. We don't want
-
we don't want a situation whereby only half goes and
-
half get left behind, only half understands the vision and
-
is unclear. So it's very important when Jesus says, to
-
make disciples of everyone.
-
We want to make sure that everyone here is in
-
a discipleship relationship.
-
It cannot be that when God brings people to this
-
church that they are left alone, left aside, they're only
-
warming the seats on Sunday.
-
Cannot be. It must be there.
-
We must have relationship here so that after a year,
-
I can say I know everybody's name in this room,
-
after two years, I can say I've visited everybody's house.
-
There must be something.
-
No one has come to this church by mistake, everyone
-
by divine appointment. We want to get close. We want
-
to make sure that every single person is accounted for.
-
I just asked Billy there day, I said where, Hey,
-
Oh you're wearing masterday. Who's going to recognize you? I said,
-
Billy can come to your house. Of course his house
-
is new, not so new anymore. Ah, but I haven't been,
-
so it's new to me. And you said, come buster
-
any time you know, wow wow yeah. And Rachel also
-
say that. Rachel, you say there, I want to go.
-
I want to go because uh, their their homes here.
-
I want to make sure that nobody gets left behind.
-
There's no one who is a stranger in this church, even.
-
After one year of coming. Very important, very important.
-
So if you get into your face, if you ask
-
you can we come to your house, please say yes, okay,
-
but you say I can't cook past that, I'm so sorry.
-
I won't be able to give you any food or
-
any drink. Don't worry.
-
We bring, we bring, unless, of course it's a Subin's house.
-
Sub will bring the whole klang to a house. Have
-
you been to Supin's house before? Subin?
-
She she's a klang champion and we get to eat
-
Klang's food. For others, you can line up in the
-
most famous klang stalls. You gotta line up half an
-
hour for the food. Subin just calls to me and
-
they said, Subin, all right, let's let's draw to a close.
-
Uh now, Level one, level two, level three. You see
-
in your notes. This is how it's done. Whenever you
-
got a vision from God or vision for your life,
-
you can.
-
Use this or so.
-
You don't even have to be spiritual about this. You
-
can be very natural about this. You have to know
-
what the diet is. The diet is for us, for example,
-
the first column, fill the earth and have dominion, right,
-
over things of the earth. You can write the word
-
dominion on page forty two. That's the first column. Now
-
how do you do that? So you go into daily bread.
-
Daily Bread tells you you got to make disciples. So
-
to be able to fulfill that big vision called God's diet,
-
you have to make sure it becomes smaller. Small means
-
you and I, everyone in this church must begin to
-
make disciples.
-
Our tithe means what are we giving to the Lord.
-
We had to start with who we are, what we have,
-
where we are.
-
If you're going to the restaurant again this week, remember
-
what is God's diet that everybody knows Jesus?
-
What is my daily bread?
-
That I'm going to try to make disciples wherever I go,
-
wherever I am.
-
You know, even in my own company.
-
If my own company has got ten staff, what am
-
I doing with my staff? How am I rubbing off
-
my testimony or my staff? Please tithe to the Lord
-
and you got ten staff. I pray that one will
-
come to know Jesus this year. That means you tithe one. Amen,
-
Praise God. It's not rocket science. I'm not forcing you.
-
I'm just asking that the Holy Spirit will touch your heart.
-
And that you will begin to live a life of tithing.
-
I pray that you be a tither and you will
-
see the blessing of God flow like never before.
-
I know some of you are very.
-
Rich readly in this room, but you can be richer really,
-
and riches is not just about money the leaven.
-
What would you do?
-
Well, you gotta be sent out, egg blow. You gotta
-
discipline yourself, yourself, your heart. Don't just order your favorite
-
food and then sit there. No, no, no finish, you know,
-
and then bye see you next week. No, you know,
-
you gotta egg blow yourself. You gotta try and try.
-
I try to make a conversation. Okay, level number two,
-
it's not it's not really level. As example, Okay, what
-
is God's diet? Well, God's diet to us is one
-
thousand times one thousand, So what.
-
Is his daily bread?
-
His daily braain is that we've got to take stop
-
of the of the first one thousand.
-
Okay.
-
Now for example, if I say, ex got the comding
-
by the end of this year, we'll have three hundred people. Amen,
-
that's diet.
-
Okay.
-
The diet is this is this is God's will. The
-
daily braain is that hold on a minute, Why should
-
three hundred people come even if you can't even take
-
care of one hundred and fifty.
-
So that's what daily break is. I've got to be resports.
-
Don't ask don't ask God for a six bedroom house
-
when you haven't used four bedrooms. I live by the
-
principal one. Don't ask God for a nicer car when
-
you haven't even treated this car well. Don't ask God
-
for twelve kids when you can't handle two. Don't ask
-
God for more people in this church if you can't
-
even handle the people they come our daily bread, our
-
tithe is Okay, now that I can see it, what
-
will I do about it?
-
Okay?
-
After this church service, I've got to look around and
-
go like, who can I think out for lunch? Of course,
-
maybe you're going out for lunch every Sunday? Who the
-
same people.
-
No agree agree? Maybe you're going out with your family.
-
But maybe after servicea look around and saying, maybe I
-
can in write one more, Hey, that that teenager or
-
not that that campus student looks like he's eating alone.
-
I think I can take him out, spend him, you know,
-
I mean.
-
Can you do that?
-
Just just just tithe, take a little bit of your
-
time and just tithe and then finally eleven, just do it,
-
Just do it all right. God's died is ten thousand.
-
By twenty thirty, his daily bread is that ninety percent
-
will be new believers. That's right because one thousand more.
-
We are only one thousand, so ten thousand means nine
-
thousand more to be saved, so ninety percent will be new.
-
Our tithes that every.
-
One of the one thousand in extras now must try
-
to reach one in the year. And eleven is start
-
looking around. Okay, last page, last page, and it's a
-
really ten oh one, but I hope that you're getting
-
something all right. Number one, start looking into numbers, breaking down,
-
breaking down. But numbers is not just numbers. Numbers are names.
-
Numbers are names. I was blessed with a club membership,
-
not just recently. Someone gave me a club membership, me
-
and my wife a freak club membership. Transferred the club
-
membership to me and my wife. And it's in quote
-
the PERMAI. So I took my wife for our very
-
first meal toquot to per my clubhouse.
-
Yes, two days ago, two days ago. I wanted to eat.
-
I want to try, so we ate chicken, grill grilled chicken.
-
All right, we shed we shard because both of us
-
was quite full. Okay, And I want to let you know.
-
There is a waitress there called nin No no, no, no,
-
what's her name again? Nina is another person?
-
Was it was it? Uh? Dia Dia? She spelled her name.
-
My name is d i y a, I said the
-
I y no no d I y d i y a.
-
I said Ida like like like Priya and uh and
-
I'm so first day, first day, get to know her name?
-
And I asked for is very important, very important because
-
if titar is good, I'll be there for.
-
Often meetings, meetings. Uh.
-
And then so that my tatar came and he tasted
-
like coffee, so you know, so, I said, Dia.
-
Then she.
-
I said, your tatar is really special. It's really yeah,
-
because it tastes like coffee. And said, oh, I knew
-
when the guy was making I can smell coffee. Sold
-
you don't worry. Your coffee is so good. I don't
-
drink coffee. But did she take you back?
-
So I hope this was.
-
Nice, you know. And I hope that I can I
-
hope I can witness to the year. So it's all
-
his numbers, it's names.
-
Who was Nin? Said? Oh? Nin was the Chinese restaurant.
-
So I walked into the Chinese restaurant and there was
-
one person there who said Oh. I said, yeah, I
-
would like to do my company's Chinese to year. How
-
can you? I got forty stuff? You have four tables
-
for me to bring my forty stuff? She said yes,
-
I said, what's your name?
-
Nin? Okay, Nin, I'll see you soon, Chase suiting by day?
-
Oh you know me? And Ma?
-
Yes, I know man Ma, But I'll tell you more later.
-
You got to get some ideas, get some ideas today
-
to get there and invest your time. Okay, last one,
-
then we go. Okay the warning. The warning is.
-
Found in Luke thirteen ver. Six to nine. Let's do it.
-
He also spoke this parable. A certain man had a
-
fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking
-
fruit on it and found none. Then so he said
-
to the keeper of his vineyard, look for three years,
-
I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and
-
found none.
-
Cut it down.
-
Oh, I pray the Lord doesn't say that to any
-
of us. Why does it use up the ground? That means,
-
why is any human being called a Christian breathing air
-
when it's better that you go back to heaven. Why
-
are you using up ground Christian? Why use breathe every
-
day only for yourself?
-
Cut it down?
-
But he answered and said to him, sir, sir, sir, sir,
-
let it alone this year also twenty twenty six.
-
I repent. I repent this year. Please. I would dig ground.
-
I would try my best. I would. I would our
-
egg balow I was fertalized. I would try to get
-
this Christian alive.
-
And if it bears fruit, well, if not, twenty twenty
-
seven curried down. I know how you're laughing very nervously,
-
because no one wants to be cut down here.
-
Now listen, the Master.
-
Said he's been coming for three years, found no fruit.
-
Do you understand that God is very patient, very patient
-
with all of us in this room, very kind, but
-
he wants us to bear fruit. And there is no
-
no what, no way we can get out of. There's
-
no other option. It's a choice, but no option. So
-
Father is the name of Jesus. I want to say
-
thank you. Time is up about maybe ten minutes ago,
-
but I pray God that it's just not notes. I
-
don't want people coming all the way to church on
-
Sunday just getting notes.
-
I want them to get your word.
-
I want everyone here in this room to download something
-
from the Holy Spirit. He loves you. He loves you,
-
He loves you, He loves you. God has blessed you
-
for a reason. God has blessed you. Not he didn't
-
just bless you with money. Bless you with talent. Bless
-
you with time, Bless you with administrative skills, Bless you
-
with leadership skills. Bless you with prayer. Your prayer is powerful.
-
Every time you pray for people, you know people's prayers
-
get answered. Why aren't you praying for more people? Then
-
He blessed you with a smile so that you can
-
shake people's hands at the front of the church. He
-
blessed you with a beautiful countenance so that when you
-
go to the restaurant, you know people are attracted to
-
you and they will come to your table. Is it
-
just about you? Is it just about your good looks?
-
Or is it about Jesus?
-
Yeah? God wants everyone.
-
In this room to be fruitful. So for three years now,
-
he's come and he's gone. He's come and he's gone.
-
He's come and he's gone found nothing, no fruit. Maybe
-
you have been part of X the community for three
-
years now, but not much fruit. God is very patient.
-
God is very kind. I don't ask that he cuts
-
you down. I don't ask that he cuts me down.
-
Let this be the last thing on our mind. God
-
is God is good.
-
But he's been patient.
-
If he's waited three years for you to respond, I
-
don't know whether he's gonna wait three more years. But
-
why don't you take the very first month January of
-
training six and just think about life for a moment?
-
Think about life? Why did God bless you? Maybe you're
-
here and you're much older. Maybe it's all pastor you're
-
talking to the younger people. I'm eighty five. Hey hello,
-
If you are eighty five, dear uncle, If you are
-
eighty five, dear auntie.
-
Why did God keep you alive?
-
If he doesn't have a plan to use you while
-
you're alive here on earth? Do you think he kept
-
you alive just to do gardening? Do you think he
-
kept you alive just to do gardening? No, your life
-
is precious. Your life has got so much to offer.
-
You are a precious commodity. Don't give up so easily.
-
Don't give up so fast. Maybe you're eighty five, but
-
as long as you have breath to breathe, let your
-
pastor encourage you. Right now, do something for the Lord,
-
Do something for the Church, do something for the Kingdom
-
of God. If he's done with you, you will be
-
home in heaven in just a split second. If he's
-
done with you, he doesn't need you anymore, you will
-
be back in heaven. But if you're here on earth,
-
there is a plan and a purpose.
-
For you to live.
-
People here who businesses, people who are business people earning money,
-
praise God for that. But I think there's more, and
-
I want to bless you. I want to pray for
-
you that you will respond.
-
Amen.
-
Ties to the Lord be a tith, not just money,
-
but time, talent, treasure. Halley, would you send to your
-
feet as part sender leads us in a song, and
-
let's just recommit our lives. Everybody here, lift up both
-
your hands.
-
Okay. I don't know what exactly you're gonna say to God.
-
I don't know what exactly you're gonna do after.
-
This service, but let's just lift up our hands to
-
surrender our lives afresh. This is January and before February comes,
-
Let's give our lives afresh to the Lord. Go ahead,
-
Pilsendra lead us in a song.
