  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. How are we preparing for the next twenty years? Okay,

  4. we're talking about twenty years. You know, why are we

  5. talking about in area of yars. Let me tell you

  6. a very simple reason. Past the Kenough has the annoying

  7. thing of the prophetic, a lot of things to share

  8. in the beginning, very radical, but he has come to pass. Right.

  9. He has come to us, not because we are very

  10. powerful or we've got a lot of money, but it's

  11. come to us because God wants it to happen. Right,

  12. That's why we're talking about in years forty okay, And

  13. all we need to do is just be faithful and

  14. then we will see it come to us. You don't

  15. have to do anything else, actually, because the thing about

  16. prophecy is that you know, I still remember someone asked

  17. it all like, oh, and I've asked this question before.

  18. How do you know that prophecy will happen? Well, it's

  19. very simple. It will happen. What happens are So when

  20. you know you just need to not do anything and

  21. let God do it. You don't have to go and

  22. help God know because if you read the Bible, everybody

  23. they try to help God in the prophecy create more problems,

  24. you know, and you shouldn't do that. Okay, So how

  25. are we preparing for the next two years? Last week?

  26. Who is the put right? W I'm sure you'll have

  27. a lot of notes. Stay up the right now joking?

  28. Five ways, five seas to the conviction conditions? You can remember?

  29. What else? Corporation college?

  30. Okay?

  31. And this is the college part. This is the college part.

  32. That's why you're doing this training. This is the college part. Right,

  33. And how do we make disciples? Today? We're going to

  34. talk about making disciples? How do we make disciples? Is

  35. very simple? Actually is The first one is yes the

  36. shampoo brand, second one is feed my sheep, right, and

  37. third one is so if you can remember it, just

  38. think shampoo, sheep, and fish. Okay, not so. The summary

  39. of the mission of the scipenship is to always give

  40. only our best God. You cannot remind anything, right, It's

  41. actually very simple. Want the heart of our church, and

  42. this is a parent in every other area. Right, is

  43. that we give God our best. God only deserves our best. Amen.

  44. You agree that God deserves our best? Not changed, not

  45. whatever our best. Okay, So let's go into it. So

  46. you've heard many things before. Actually, how many of you

  47. here are in X for the past one year? One year? Okay,

  48. ex chrach right, two years, three years, five years and

  49. above all? Right, Okay, you've heard it many times a

  50. day one you're still fresher okay, but you've heard it

  51. many times? Right? So what makes this round different? Well?

  52. Can I give you a challenge this morning? There are

  53. three things we need to consider? Friends? Firstly, what is

  54. God actually saying to you? I just established that we

  55. call extras our home? Right? We come because why? There

  56. could reasons why it come? But have you considered what

  57. is God saying to you? Why did God lead you here? Right?

  58. Is it just for fun? Is it just because he's

  59. near your house? Right? What is God saying to you? Well,

  60. maybe it's difficult to know what God is saying right now.

  61. Maybe the next thought is what is or are your

  62. leader saying? What is past Stephen saying every Sunday? What

  63. is he saying right about all that we are hearing about,

  64. the unpacking of the division? What is he saying? And finally,

  65. the question that is the most important is what are

  66. you saying about it? Actually, all these things all many

  67. times before the not gonna work right, not gonna happen, right,

  68. I remember I had one. Uh it's very funny one.

  69. I see you this story because it's very powerful story.

  70. You know, when we want to start X, no not X.

  71. But we wanted to start homes in Kota Damansara, right,

  72. and I had six college students, and I remember we

  73. saw the lot bring them to PJ in my miner. Actually,

  74. now if you're a build, then they will come here

  75. a lot in my miner. They will go to somewhere

  76. suban suba war happening PJ is like small chess plan.

  77. But I don't know why they travel all the way

  78. to PJ. No. And then got brought two, three, four, ten, eleven,

  79. and I'm like okay. And I remember used to said, hey,

  80. you know, you better do something, and I didn't. Not

  81. six months later he asked so and I was excited.

  82. Oh got testimonior. You know. Now I've got sixteen of them.

  83. Then he asked me, are you doing anything. I'm like, no, okay,

  84. I'm going to do something. And then we started homes

  85. and then I've got six of them came and I

  86. remember clearly one of them when I had the one

  87. on one conversation. You know, you try to get buy in,

  88. pus buy in, like, hey, we're gonna do this, you know, Pasen,

  89. I don't believe it. I don't believe in this chesch

  90. plannding thing. Right. I don't want to do it. You know.

  91. I look at this brother, and I say, it's okay.

  92. I believe for you, it's okay. I will do it

  93. because hey, hello, you don't believe Nama. I know I

  94. have to drive on a Wednesday, ask permission, leave early.

  95. I mean I cannot because I'm full time right right,

  96. bring my oven to go in big chicken for them

  97. to show them what it means by giving got your best.

  98. You know why I cannot handle so because the first

  99. time I cook for them in homes it took two

  100. hours because I was using their knife and boat and

  101. it was not shot, and it took me one and

  102. a half hours to cut onions. Friends, that is persecution

  103. for christ Man, and this I say, I don't believe

  104. in it. Ne'ama, I believe you're not a funny thing.

  105. As I tell you, I love for gay young people

  106. because you really tend to say I told you so,

  107. but you won't and you just listen to them and

  108. you got stories. I to hell because two months later

  109. after we consitantly, we have homes and it was really good.

  110. It was really good. We had a good home. Small

  111. wile came sunniest person say, I don't believe it. Come

  112. a person been. You know, we should have training. Let's train,

  113. you know, because last time we were training homes, greatest

  114. pace on earth. Let's do it. Now. I'm like, where

  115. where did this? I don't believe in it? Person? When now,

  116. of course I didn't say alah. A few years later, Yeah,

  117. I used the story eline, you know, and then the

  118. person remember and then she appreciated person you're talking about me?

  119. I said, no, no, no, no, no, another young person. So, friends,

  120. what are you saying? The one word that God is

  121. challenging me now? Is this thing about belief? Do I

  122. still believe? Do I still believe in the region of

  123. the church. Do I still believe that this is what

  124. God is calling us to do? You know, It's one

  125. thing when you have not walked the talk to talk

  126. and done it. It's another thing when you've done it

  127. for twenty years and then you get tired and you're like,

  128. do I still believe in it? So, friends, I asked

  129. you this question, what are you saying when we unpack

  130. the vision? Because the thing about what you're saying is that,

  131. can I be honest, you will come to pass what

  132. you are saying. If you are saying it's not gonna work, yes,

  133. it's not gonna work for you. But if you're saying

  134. it's gonna work, it will work for you because out

  135. of your confession it will come. That's what I've seen. Right,

  136. So what are you saying? So you must go away

  137. saying something. It has to be yes or no. Don't

  138. be in the middle. Right are we going to run

  139. with the vision or not? Right? Remember Jesus, after hearing

  140. what others said about him, asked with the who do

  141. you say? That's what they had to come. The disciples

  142. had to make a decision. Oh you know, some say

  143. you're join the Baptist some say you're Elijah, some say this,

  144. and I say it. Look, thank you for telling me

  145. what everybody is saying. What are you saying? Are you

  146. going to be sitting at the sidelines? You are the

  147. discipler and know what are you saying, friends, you just

  148. said that you're calling this your church. You're challenging us,

  149. is it? No? No, no, I'm not right. What are you saying?

  150. Let's talk about the tree. L's okay, there's a lot

  151. of acronyms. I hope you will catch it. So the

  152. vision of X has always been about the loss. It

  153. has always been about a loss, and we need leaders

  154. to rise up. Who are leaders? Well? In Acts, we

  155. believe that everybody can be a leader. I know sometimes

  156. when it comes to the word leader is like bad

  157. word leader, more responsibility. I remember talking to a leader

  158. and the leader tell me I don't want to be

  159. leading homes because I more work. Read day my mom, Like,

  160. you're a ready doing so much work. Really, it's not

  161. much difference. Actually, you're already a leader. Why are you

  162. worried about the title. Maybe because you want the responsibility

  163. or whatever. And again you might have another time person

  164. that say leadership, I want to take by person already. Okay,

  165. so yeah, both ways, But we believe in Acts that

  166. everybody can be a leader. And we're not just talking

  167. about church. I'm talking about leading another person. Isn't that discipleship?

  168. Jesus led So who are you leading? Right? If you

  169. become a parent, whether you're like you're not, you're leading

  170. your kids right. That's the reality of life. We are

  171. leading someone, right, and we need leaders to rise up.

  172. We already have a group of people. Yesterday we met

  173. the leaders met okay, the leaders of the church, people

  174. who are leading the church met about hundred plus two

  175. hundred right, the thousand that we have. Everyone should be

  176. a disciple, Corona should write and eventually lead someone to

  177. the Lord. That is what we should be doing. That

  178. isn't that our call? However, so we need the loss.

  179. All of us can agree that we need leaders. Maybe

  180. were green and some say I'm not ready and no,

  181. it's fine. However, can I can I let you know

  182. that we also need eleven seven? He is speaking King

  183. Jam's English. Well, let's read the word of God Matthew thirteen.

  184. Matthew chapter thirteen, verse thirty three says that the kingdom

  185. of heaven is like eleven. God's kingdom is eleven. We

  186. have we have the lost people who don't know God.

  187. Yet we have us here on earth, right, But then

  188. we need the eleven. Let Maybe we'll go to Matthew

  189. chapter thirteen and read what it says there, right, So

  190. it talks here about okay, the purpose of parables. Right,

  191. let's see thirteen thirty three. Okay, let me go. There

  192. are guys, okay, right, so let's talk about the parable

  193. and the mustard seed. Now another parable he pulls off

  194. to them, The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard

  195. seed which a man took and sowed in his field,

  196. which indeed is the least of all the seeds. But

  197. when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs

  198. and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the

  199. air come and nest in his branches. Right. And then

  200. it says another parable. He spoke to them, the Kingdom

  201. of Heaven is like eleven, which a woman took and

  202. hid in three measures of meal, did till it was

  203. all eleven. Right. So the secret sauce, friends, the secret

  204. sauce is the eleven. The secret sauce is God's Kingdom.

  205. Do you have God's Kingdom in your life? Matthew Sextredy

  206. Tree says, sick. If it's the king of God, and

  207. all shall be added to you, don't worry. Question is

  208. do you have God's kingdom? Pase wants there now well,

  209. don't just explain what it means. I prayed. I read

  210. the word I prayed, and something happened. God's kingdom is

  211. in effect, not men, not money, God's kingdom. He's in effect, right,

  212. so we need leven. When leven and years is put

  213. in two doors, it became to rise for those that

  214. know how to bake those that don't know a bit.

  215. You just need to take my word for it. You

  216. got no yeas, you got no sour door. Sour door

  217. is ye sir. I remember I wanted to do sour

  218. dough and I know a good friend that has you

  219. know that's really good. Sourdo goes to ex Hyberjaya androw

  220. and I asked him, Hey, I want to dola. Can

  221. you give me some of your starter? And no? He

  222. said sure. Then he said, are you sure? He's like

  223. taking care of a pet. No, I'm saying, what do

  224. you mean? He's like, you need to feed it like

  225. three times a day? Huh? I said, how you feed

  226. it three tis a day? You bring with you? He said, no,

  227. my mother helped me. I'm like, okay, I don't have

  228. mo day at home to help me. Okay, my mother's

  229. in heaven, not a joke, no joke, but anyway, nobody

  230. at home can help me, you know. So I'm like, oh, man, imagina,

  231. you see me start then I'll be like having a

  232. little thinking. Care what you're doing. I'm trying to feed

  233. the the sour door. We don't heaven. The door won't rise.

  234. Without levening our lives, we will remain stagnant and flat.

  235. Leven gets disciples and leaders out of their comfort zone.

  236. Send out labors into the harvest field, be kicked out.

  237. That's leven. Do you have leven in your life or not?

  238. Let me use other words. You have God's presence in

  239. your life? Do you have the Kingdom of God in

  240. your life? You want to experience victory in your own life?

  241. You gotta all have all these things. But the thing

  242. is the thing about following God is that it will

  243. not be comfortable. That's the reality that people don't share. Yes, yes,

  244. you will have peace, you have all these things. It

  245. will be awesome. Ask any of these leaders here who

  246. follow God, Sharon easy or not? Follow God? Not easy?

  247. Right?

  248. But is he fulfiling? Are you seeing the dreams of

  249. your life come to pass? The dreams of your life

  250. come to pass? Go out inside joke, okaret, answer about it? Okay,

  251. A lot, a lot, a lot lot right that fulfilling

  252. corent not not easy, definitely, nobody wants it one but

  253. fulfeeling worth it? Right, That's what leven is. So next

  254. point the secret to real growth? Do you want to

  255. grow up this year? Friends? Do you want to grow

  256. this year in the lot? Sorry? Do you want to

  257. grow this year in your own life? Do you want to? Well?

  258. The secret to real growth is radical obedience? Can or not? Not?

  259. Just obedience? Are radical obedience? And when we think radical

  260. obediences you mean you become radical? No, no, no, no, don't

  261. think of it in the extreme. Actually, radical obedience are

  262. It's not very difficult for us. It just means something

  263. that you won't normally do. Right, I don't normally go

  264. prayer service. Then you better radically obey this here by

  265. going prayer service. It's not very hard. No, actually, think

  266. about it because we think radical. Oh you mean I

  267. know you don't ask for the days? And friends? Chill lla?

  268. Do you say it was okay? I'll make time on

  269. a past story forty days. God's not dumb, you know

  270. what I mean? Where's the foolish is coming from right.

  271. Not everybody here is meant to do full time. No, seriously,

  272. every time someone come in and tell I got full

  273. time call, I would ask the person ten thousand questions

  274. first because I know how the figure is. And when

  275. you can't answer this question, I'm like, okayah, I can

  276. give you a child. Prover you was a wife. Right,

  277. But radical obedience that was the foundation of exches the

  278. first twenty years. Now we are in twenty twenty six, right,

  279. So twenty two thousand until twenty twenty twenty, we had

  280. radical obedience. It was crazy, right. There was radical unity,

  281. there was radical generosity. I share you one story, personal story.

  282. Right twenty ten, I still remember we were poised to

  283. get a building on our own. And that was the

  284. That was the trend. Okay, use this word. That was

  285. the trend of every church, get a big building. Always

  286. come together. We are a big you know, big everything,

  287. big big, big, big, big big. That was the plan.

  288. Why because we knew you meet people. We need to

  289. get all the people on board. It's not about numbers,

  290. it's about souls. Right, got the building we all gave.

  291. I sought my car, the only my first car. I sold, convicted, sold,

  292. my car, no nor money. It was a few thousand

  293. ring and second hand lime green. I don't know, lime green,

  294. lime green color proton is what I love that car.

  295. Convicted sell it? Right? Of course you hope like, oh,

  296. you know, then someone will come and say, Perselvin, since

  297. you saw your car, here here's the brand new Alpha Romeo. Friends,

  298. didn't happen until now, I have no nobody came. You know,

  299. I'm still waiting. I saw my car, gave to the building,

  300. and then we lost the building war. I'd be honest.

  301. You're a lot of story where things like this happened. Now.

  302. The church per ready by then, but redical obedience. I

  303. knew I was not giving to a man, and not

  304. just me. There were many many. I remember a friend

  305. during that time or so gave their kids education fund.

  306. Of course the Lord bless them, and you know, but

  307. we believed, and we lost the building and we didn't leave,

  308. and then God did other things. So in the first

  309. two years we had to go through the fire. Right,

  310. that's the friends, that is the legacy of your church

  311. and some of the leaders of your church. That's the legacy.

  312. You know, when you have a legacy, right, that's powerful. Right,

  313. you know that you're set for success one because someone

  314. has done the hard work. Ready, none say that now

  315. you don't lah. But now when you go hard work,

  316. don't don't shann la. Right now, when you go Howard,

  317. don't shut it because that's the legacy you have, right,

  318. So radical that is the first twenty years. Do we

  319. need to go back there again? Well, I don't know.

  320. I've got causes that maybe right, But what is the

  321. requirement for the next twenty years for our growth as

  322. a church? Radical ideas, deliberate, The foundation is set, redifference,

  323. the foundation is set, Radical initiatives tiding and I'm not

  324. just talking about money, your time and radical implementation. The

  325. level what else do we sow into that's gonna be

  326. from twenty twenty to twenty forty? And can I let

  327. you know the shift because the first time, the first

  328. twenty years, it was working out the details. It was

  329. getting the foundation right. It was the working out the

  330. family values five WS, the unpacking, the helping people believe,

  331. the proving whether this works or not. And it works

  332. it works. If not, you will not have continued proving

  333. whether the Bible works or not. That was the test,

  334. That was the experimentation that was the first twenty years

  335. and the next twenty years. Growth comes from the implementation

  336. of it. And do you know that you guys are

  337. part of the implementation. I asked some questions, sir, Okay,

  338. maybe Sharon again? Okay, Sharon, when you started coming xs? Right?

  339. Do you ever think that you were planning Chester? Huh no? No?

  340. When when was it you came to college?

  341. Twenty sixteen?

  342. So xbu How many years are tree years? Tree years? Okay? Right?

  343. You still quite young? Right?

  344. Yes?

  345. How are you twenty nine?

  346. Wait? Look at him? You don't know she did have

  347. to check him twenty nine? You probably didn't. I remember

  348. sharing when she was a Campis student. Know did I

  349. knew that she was going to plant chesh No, way,

  350. no way? Right. You see, if you look back where

  351. especially some of us here at where you were, John,

  352. will you ever will you ever be assistancy BC in

  353. your mind? He's right, He's right. Sorry, I have to

  354. double check, you know, I just giving out. You know,

  355. will you ever believe that you were gonna be the

  356. assistant church Bran church bran card?

  357. No, bro no, no, no, how long you've been extra

  358. sh D, I don't know thirty thirty years, two years.

  359. I know John for a very long time. Okay, will

  360. you ever never right?

  361. Never? No, John, actually since last time he really dreamed

  362. I'm gonna be pastor John one day. No, friends, you know,

  363. I know I'm using this sun, but I want you

  364. to see it. The implementation part. It is not man's job.

  365. It is God doing something. And these are people who

  366. have been faithful. These are people who say, yes, God

  367. sent me with fear and traveling right. The structure we

  368. have right now local senior passes office mana that last time,

  369. last time, just senior pastor Like you're worry about the

  370. problem everything, every problem you have, you throw at them

  371. right no now, any bu problemer, CPC assisting PC. Look

  372. as we are your cut team. Okay, what does that

  373. show you? Empowerment? What does that show you? We believe

  374. that everybody can, you know, every believer can. No, no, no, no,

  375. no no no. Josiah, you must go for a ten

  376. year geologic cause, get masters, become a bishop. Then only

  377. maybe your planner church by the time Jesus come back.

  378. You you know, we all laugh about it, but I'm

  379. trying to show you that it's happening. In front of

  380. your eyes? What will bring radical growth? Sorry, we'll bring

  381. growth in the next two nearest friends. As I'm reading this,

  382. I'm like, yeah, Lord, I never imagine I'll be planning

  383. to just honest to God. Honest, I thought I'll be

  384. happily doing XTV for the rest of my life. Never imagine.

  385. But God had other plans. Do you know that God

  386. has plans for you if you will say yes to him?

  387. Because all these people had to say yes. No, that's

  388. the thing. All have to say yes. You don't say

  389. yes and it won't happen. Have to say yes. So

  390. back to this what and then of course now we

  391. got global church lab Will we ever imagine? I tell

  392. you as I think regret. I cannot brain it sometimes,

  393. but it's so natural. Now we got a church plan

  394. in Mianma, we got a church plan in you know,

  395. Botswana is growing and bounds, right man, I tell you friends,

  396. it is only God that can do it. No where

  397. with our contact connection, money, no way. It has to

  398. be God. Do you recognize it? Friends? Do you recognize

  399. the XBU is part of something bigger, is beyond just

  400. this Sunday? Okay, with every big vision and everything and

  401. every good thing that's happening, there's always challenges. One, So

  402. let's talk about the challenges. Can we talk about challenges.

  403. Let's let's let's look at it realistically, because if we

  404. don't look at it realistically, you know, very hard light,

  405. you know, it cannot just be like I'm in the air,

  406. say you need but you know, but these are the challenge.

  407. First challenge, the loss. So the greatest challenge to the vision,

  408. and you'll know what the vision is that the earth

  409. may be failed with the noise of the glory of

  410. the Lord, as the water has covered the sea, right, okay?

  411. That for that, as that bundled Utama we filled with

  412. the knowledge of the glory of God as the world's

  413. see right, okay. So the greatest challenge to our vision

  414. is that we cannot achieve it without winning the loss.

  415. How is the whole of ex the whole of Bana Tama, No,

  416. the whole ex Banadama, yes, not done really, you'll know,

  417. the knowledge of the glory of Lot ready done. Really,

  418. but the whole of Bandama? How would it happen without

  419. us going out? How do you happen without the loss?

  420. The people who do not know about Christ yet the

  421. people who do not know yet. I mean, don't talk

  422. about those that ready, those I know already. The Christian

  423. know already enough? Ready, good? Ready? What about those that

  424. don't know? Right? So he cannot that's the challenge. So

  425. the church isn't here in Malaysia to just look after

  426. the ten percent. No, right, we have to have that mentality.

  427. We have to have that perspective because if not, we

  428. are going to get comfortable being in church. How do

  429. you That's it. There's no urgency. But we're here to

  430. leve even the ninety percent. For the Son of Man

  431. has come to see and save that which was lost.

  432. That was his goal. We were once lost, now we

  433. are found. There are many loss out there. So that's

  434. the first challenge. By the way, that scripture is from

  435. Luke nineteen verse ten. So here in our church, when

  436. we talk about the loss, we think about witness right

  437. and can be honest with you weakess, w weakeers right.

  438. God wants us to engage the fifth gear and take

  439. this vehicle up to a maximum speed with Mexican distance

  440. before he returns. Friends. The setting of the stage church

  441. now is small. Ready, we believe that you see the

  442. structure is there. Really the foundation is there. Now the

  443. work begins. Actually you think about it, because we don't

  444. have to argue about a lot of things that day.

  445. You don't have to argue about a lot of structure

  446. is being set ready, right, worship structure. There's the reason

  447. why you come. That's the homes. No need to argue ready.

  448. Homes is good, Church is good, Praser is good, worship

  449. is good. It works, friends, because it doesn't work, We're

  450. not gonna have multiplication, but we're multiplying church like no

  451. one's business. Because it works. If you go all the

  452. way to what Tswana, if you go all the way

  453. to it's the same or no. Sometimes I joke that

  454. x Becausie looks more like exchange us because they will

  455. actually put up all the you know, if you've been now,

  456. please go, please please friends this year, please go for

  457. mission trip. Go go go for mission trip. Go to

  458. another church plan half across around the world and see

  459. whether God is doing see whether there's any similarity or not.

  460. And then you're not Okay, God, you're real. I'm not

  461. just in my little bubble. Right, go go go mission

  462. trip organized organized organized mission trip. I think, yeah, a

  463. mission trip is happening, right, go for it. That's the challenge, right.

  464. The losses of a second challenge is the leaders. The

  465. greatest challenge that we can't do it without leader slash laborers. See,

  466. the harvest is plentiful by the labors. Are you? I

  467. used to not understand this. Now I fully understand it.

  468. So every time someone comes up to me and say,

  469. perse you know, we need to save people. We need

  470. to you know, all we need to, I say, great,

  471. can the harvest? I agree? Harvest is plentiful. You want

  472. to know us? The problem you have that chikok Oran

  473. the long because everybody expect full time for us to

  474. do it an so the only way you can reach

  475. out is to become full time.

  476. Right.

  477. But that's the mentality that's the problem. No, friends, we

  478. have to change the mindset. Everybody here can do something

  479. about it. Everybody here can pray for someone this week.

  480. Everybody here can talk to a friend and know that

  481. your The rejection lebl's going to be higher, our friends

  482. is going to be higher. Out of ten people to

  483. talk to, maybe one person says, okay, I allow you

  484. to pray for me here, but you got to keep

  485. doing it because once you get that one. You'll be

  486. encouraged once you hear that one testimony it thanks so much,

  487. and that for praying for me, because thanks so much passes,

  488. then you'll be like, wow, God, you're using me. But

  489. it has to have that one, right. So the leaders,

  490. he said to his disciples, the harvest is plentiful, but

  491. the laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of

  492. the harvest to send out laborers to his harvests. So

  493. now when people come to me and tell me a

  494. problem again, now after this, none of you will talk

  495. to me about needs. I said, great, thank you so

  496. much for that heart. Why don't you do something about it?

  497. That's the truth. You got a conviction, ma, Why not

  498. you believe that God will use you? Right, that's the reality.

  499. The problem was never being with the harvest but the harvesters.

  500. We were never thought to pray for the harvests, but

  501. for the laborers. Matthew four nineteen says that he said

  502. to them, follow me, and I'll make you facius for men. Friends,

  503. let me give you this challenge. If you're afraid or

  504. your concern about whether or not you are good enough

  505. to disciple someone to do something about it, let me

  506. give you a very simple answer. Follow Christ. He will

  507. make you vicious of men because it's not about you.

  508. It's not about me. It was about me. Right, I

  509. will be some guru like Tony Robbins sharing or Simon

  510. Sinek sharing the why of life and all and write

  511. a book and get rich. No, it's not about me, friends,

  512. it's not about me. It's not about any of the

  513. leaders here. Yes, thank you for the honor, but it's

  514. not about us. It's all about Christ. Amen. So that's

  515. the second challenge. The final challenge, which actually is also important.

  516. The greatest challenge, friends, is that maybe we have a

  517. perspective of the loss and then oh, yeah, we have enough.

  518. But let's say everybody, okay, everybody sign up for sign

  519. up to reach out. Okay, all kind of let's hold

  520. a plan less do it. The third greatest challenge is

  521. that we cannot do it without the leaven, the sending out.

  522. Roman Stentataine says, whatever calls on the name of the

  523. Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on

  524. him whom they have not believed? And how shall they

  525. believe in him whom they have not heard? How shall

  526. they hear without a preacher, How shall they preach unless

  527. they are sent as it is written? How beautiful are

  528. the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

  529. who bring glad tidings of good tidings. So what is leven? Friends, Well,

  530. leaven is the discipline. First Corinthians nine twenty six twenty

  531. seven says Therefore I run thats not with uncertainty. Does

  532. I fight not as one who beats the air. But

  533. I discipline my body and bring it into sub subjection.

  534. Less when I preach to others, I myself should become disqualified.

  535. So leven is the doing. It's the execution, is the implementation,

  536. the momentum, the habit, the custom, the culture. People who

  537. are in fitness, people who who are coaches understand this

  538. really well. People who coach you, who train people understandings

  539. really well. It is not the go on. No, oh

  540. you must have the biggest why. Yeah that's great. Right.

  541. Oh you must have a big goal. Yeah that's great.

  542. Do you know that nothing happens without the action? That's

  543. the reality, right. And I also realized that we can

  544. all know what's important to do, but won't do it.

  545. On for example, everybody here knows what it takes to

  546. be healthy. You know, exercise it properly, don't eat super sweets, right,

  547. all of us know? Are you doing it? That's eleven?

  548. Are you doing it? That's the reality. Oh, I know

  549. that I must sleep early? Are you doing it? I

  550. know Instagrams don't go for me. Reels are don't go

  551. for me. I know great knowledge is not the issue.

  552. Discipline is the issue. Co or not same. I think

  553. about this myself all the time. Let me tell you

  554. my mindset fast time. When you talk about fitness, right,

  555. sports is not for me. I'm not a sporty person.

  556. You know. When I developed this mindset when I was

  557. in school. From that time onwards, sports day was never

  558. a thing. I was skid sports day.

  559. Then.

  560. I remember once we had a joggaton. I'm talking about

  561. like primary school. No how convinced I am right, and

  562. no one encouraged me, No one taught me right. I

  563. will go for joggaton, put my attendance and run home.

  564. That's what I used to do all the way. The

  565. only time maybe I play sports is padminton when everybody

  566. likes bedminton and I play with it, and that's it.

  567. That's it. No sports, no fitness, nothing, never had any

  568. encouragement until I had to go and get a stand

  569. in my heart. Touch the heart now right one night

  570. in ic you not fun? Not fun? Right? How many

  571. more wake up calls we need to have before we

  572. start taking things seriously? You got to think about that,

  573. you know. And I realized that it is a mindset

  574. ship because I was just talking to someone yesterday about

  575. exercising and the persons shaking his head, no la, no la,

  576. no la. And I'm like, I used to be like you,

  577. exactly like you, and now I know different. Now I

  578. have a different mindset. Now. The top process is the

  579. more I want to know. And there are many reasons,

  580. wh oh I can't cause my schedule and again nothing

  581. nothing wrong with that. I told this person and another

  582. percise it. You know, you have a child now my

  583. perspective of choice, raising birth. If I can exercise more,

  584. I'm investing in the future because I know now right,

  585. I've got it. So it's it doesn't take a lot

  586. now to motivate myself, right, but we have to have

  587. the level. That's that's the reality, even though it's not

  588. gonna happen. I hope you guys are catching something from

  589. this so it is actually the doing. But the doing

  590. is hard. I know, I admit the doing is hard.

  591. That's why I will encourage you. But you gotta think

  592. of it this way. You got to force yourself. Sorry,

  593. no other way. You don't force yourself is not gonna happen.

  594. You don't push yourselfs not gonna happen. You don't discipline

  595. Yourself's not gonna happen. You expect some good feeling, No,

  596. you want to know when it's the good feeling going

  597. to come after you suffer. Then the good feeling will

  598. come only after you put effort and time in it

  599. and you're sweating and you're tired. Then you will feel good.

  600. Then you want to do it again after you put

  601. yourself to pain. That's how life works, right, So friends,

  602. something to think about. You can write on your own

  603. what are some of the habits or customs that will

  604. make you an effective laborer? And actually, this little thing

  605. is something that you can apply. This thought process is

  606. something that can apply in everything you want to do

  607. in life. What are the habits that you can do

  608. to make you a better blank can In the church context,

  609. we asked this question, what are the habits? Is it

  610. commit and don't think big thing, small incremental changes in

  611. your life. Right. The thing that I realized helped me

  612. as I started the finness journey was small, incremental. I

  613. didn't straight away Okay, every day I'm going to go exercise,

  614. I will fail, I will get discouraged and I won't

  615. do it. So it started with one day. First, push myself,

  616. push myself consistent, two days, push myself consistent, three days

  617. after that, exercise when holiday because holiday exercise, then stortally

  618. change other things. It's still changing. It's been three years,

  619. two years, two years, still making changes, right, still making

  620. now more discipline on different things. Yesterday, Oh I can

  621. tell you I owe it yesterday. Since then lost a birthday?

  622. Had you know, waffle with during ice creams laha bas right?

  623. So today fast one mela, no problem, I don't feel

  624. no nothing. Maybe last time incremental changes in your life.

  625. So in the area of faith, what the incremental changes

  626. can make? Read Bible for five minutes. Ne's only increase,

  627. right buontai yourself cannot because if you tellt her cannot, Yeah,

  628. you cannot. Maybe once a month, come for prayer service

  629. once a month. Huh No enough? Read once a month

  630. then later when becomes habit twice a man? Right, What

  631. are the incrementals of little incremental change that you can

  632. make in your life? Think about it? Think about it,

  633. and you only can make it in your life. No,

  634. no one can force you one. Right unless pastus Steven

  635. is your housemailer, then he will force you ala. If not,

  636. what is think about it this way because if you don't,

  637. then can I give you a sobering thought? You and

  638. twenty twenty six the same. That's the reality unless you

  639. start making small adjustments. If not not big small adjustments. Okay,

  640. so think about it. What are some habits or custom

  641. That's why we use the word custom. Custom is customary.

  642. It's customary to open it up, or girls, it's customary

  643. to say hello. It's custom We have been trained so much.

  644. I'm training my kid now. Every time you see someone

  645. say hello, Hi, no address, the name, it is customary.

  646. I was trained b like that when I was young.

  647. That's why I see someone who's say uncle, Auntie. Right,

  648. it's customary. It's becomes so I don't want to do so,

  649. I'll do it right. I don't like this, Auntie, but

  650. I will still wish it anyway. What is your custom

  651. that you can adjust, friends, if all of us can

  652. slowly adjust, adjust, adjust, right, let me give you this perspective.

  653. Imagine the day. Imagine, just imagine, imagine the day when

  654. witnessing so winning disciple, ship making leader, producing Daniel releasing.

  655. You're not Daniel. Any Daniel's here. Well, we're talking about

  656. the prophet Daniel. They mis released to the marketplace to

  657. be an influence, right becomes momentum becomes our habit becomes

  658. our culture, becomes our custom. Do you know that when

  659. we started church planting it was an alien concept when

  660. we did the and some you will here probably be

  661. affected by when we when we the not nice word

  662. we use is decentralized. I would say multiplier when we multiplied. Ha,

  663. send me so far we have? Some probably feel great

  664. now near my house, I don't have to travel so far.

  665. Some probably feel that way. Some probably feel some I

  666. feel my friends are all gone. You know that's how

  667. it felt, right, uncomfortable changes. Oh, I cannot see past

  668. us all the time? Right, that was dead. Look at

  669. where we've come now, Look at how things have changed.

  670. Look at how church planting is normal, normally right, normal?

  671. In fact, some of us are seeing the benefits of

  672. church planting. Now it's a close environment. You know, when

  673. I was in the two thousand church plan, nobody said

  674. hello to me. Nobody cares now, or I want to

  675. run away from pass the sea wars cannot He will

  676. definitely ask me how I'm doing, or pray for me.

  677. The benefit see a lot of things we do in life.

  678. You might not see it at first, right, but it's

  679. become normal now. Going and visiting church, the church planter's

  680. overseas is normal now when people go holiday. Last time

  681. it was a in huh. Now it's normal now. You

  682. actually see you have planning your holiday around around the

  683. church plan, which is very interesting. You think about it, right,

  684. this is where God wants to get us, friends, That's

  685. where he wants to position us. That's getting our house

  686. in order, rebuilding the walls, hanging the gates. That's what

  687. we want to live our next generation parents here, think

  688. about it this way. Imagine passing on faith to your kids.

  689. Think about it, passing on faith. The benefits you are

  690. experiencing right now, can we pass it on to them?

  691. Can it be so normal to them? Right? That's the

  692. road forward, friends, that's the road forward. How do we

  693. implement this? So I talked about the challenge, right, I

  694. talk about the different challenges, But let me give you

  695. the action plan which everybody can do it. How do

  696. we implement Well, we need to take in God's diet.

  697. What's God's diet, God's diret So Daniel, he lived on

  698. vegetables and water for ten days and became stronger and fatter.

  699. That's what happened to him, right, And this is the

  700. way that God wants us to fulfill our purpose, that

  701. we live on God's diet. Right now, I just heard

  702. that you asked, just change the pyramid now more protein.

  703. So all those guito people say, amen, you like rice

  704. and bread. Sorry for you. He has changed the balaity. Okay,

  705. So we got to break God's side. Now what's God's died? Well,

  706. first is daily bread? Do you have daily break from God?

  707. You know the devotion daily bread? Actually it's quite ap

  708. They name it daily bread because it is daily bread.

  709. In the morning when you wake up, do you ask God, morning, Lloyd,

  710. what's my daily bread today? What's my manner from heaven today?

  711. What are you saying today? All? Straight away? Like, huh,

  712. I need to do these these, these, these these I

  713. got this exam, I got have you asked? Got God?

  714. Can you help you my exam? What's your daily braid? Friends?

  715. Everybody can do, right? Do you need revel from heaven? No,

  716. everybody can do. What's your daily bread? What's the idea?

  717. What's God asking you to do to be a blessing?

  718. Can you make a list? Lord? How can I be

  719. effective as a labor today? Make a lista whatever it

  720. comes your way? You know, download from him? Do you

  721. know God speak? You know? The one thing that I

  722. will tell people this is that you know when you

  723. ask God, God actually say something. Side the scripture, Ask

  724. and you will get your answer. Seek and you will

  725. find not and the door be opened. It's very true. No,

  726. it's very rudimentary and elementary, but it's so true. You

  727. don't ask, you won't get law as la right, that's

  728. the daily bread. And then once we receive. Okay, God,

  729. thanks for the revelation, Thanks for giving me the download.

  730. What's the next step? Make a commitment your tithe? That's

  731. where you say, Lord, I tithe to you, I give

  732. to you, Thank you for this. I will I will

  733. do my part right, you know? Okay, God, everything on

  734. all you are, yes, all him. But we have to

  735. do our part. We have to obey. Once you receive

  736. the word. The greatest thing you can do is obedience.

  737. And do you know that when you obey, you please him.

  738. So it's your benefit that you obey him. And then

  739. after that it's where the leaven comes in, where we implement,

  740. where we make it count right, and we account right,

  741. you know, we got to account for things, you know,

  742. that's that's that's the thing about somethings when we come

  743. to you know, we we we count a lot of things.

  744. We keira a lot of things, right. You know. We

  745. always say like, don't kee it up, we've God la right,

  746. but actually we do. We cra God, I gave you

  747. this mount then I get you know, we kee it out.

  748. Maybe that's the Chinese insarvest. Must count everything one, you know,

  749. and we say God don't count. Actually know what I

  750. think he does count. You know, he's not gonna hold

  751. you to it, but I think he does count. Because

  752. we all have to take an account of what we

  753. have done. We all have to do that. That's a reality. Right.

  754. Are we gonna keep counting the blessings or the thanksgiving

  755. or are we gonna count now? God? Now you never

  756. answer no, I tell you whish one I don't know.

  757. Maybe ask you if you were God right and you've

  758. got your kids coming to you or those steps follow

  759. you coming to your who you like? You want the

  760. one that count? Lord? Thanks so much, Thanks for this

  761. you did for me. Thanks for this you did for me.

  762. Thanks or you're gonna Lord, I want to keep out

  763. of you. You never do this. You never do who

  764. you prefer to talk to? Think about it? Then you

  765. flip it? Which one are you? Wouldn't you want to

  766. give more to the ones that is more thankful? Think

  767. about it, think about it, just challenging that thought process. Okay,

  768. So let's make it count. Download from the Lord. Okay,

  769. daily bread can do every day? One okay? And then

  770. again incremental changes maybe difficult. Your schedule is hard. Five minutes,

  771. five minutes, one minute, pray one minute. I don't know, right,

  772. Maybe just do something to connect we've got and then

  773. after that upload to him and then implement. So there

  774. are five steps. I give you the five sets of

  775. God's diet. We've got to make a list, right, because

  776. a short pencer is But of course, now we got

  777. I pen and all. But please make a list. No

  778. we cannot remember. And once you have the list, commit

  779. to it. Okay, God, thank you for this. I want

  780. to commit. And then you got to make it count. Okay,

  781. revisit it. Maybe you've got the list ready. Maybe God

  782. has given you something but you've not acted on it

  783. for past twenty five. It's not too late. Revisit the least,

  784. just the least, yes, maybe, and make it count. Make

  785. time to help others.

  786. So so.

  787. Right, that was very encouraging. Pray God answered, come share,

  788. help others. Others are being helped. Now you'll know if

  789. you want to have extension for your landlord, you know

  790. you can asked because you got example. If it can happen,

  791. it canpen to me as well. Help others. And of

  792. course finally we remember the vision. What is it all about? Friends?

  793. It's about the loss, It's about helping people believe, it's

  794. about making disciples. Right what he's making disciples? Oh no,

  795. I must be you know, affiliated with pasta Steven? And

  796. then he must say his friends. It's not so complicated

  797. on cat no, can we can we simplify it a

  798. little bit. The moment you can influence someone to follow Jesus,

  799. you are discipling the person like how or some of

  800. you here, I'm really discipling you because you are listening

  801. to me at least la but they are one there,

  802. ones are like tuning off. I'm not discipling you. It's

  803. very simple. Maybe someone else can. Maybe you listen. He

  804. will disable you, but at least that's disabled happening. And

  805. of course here we go deeper. Don't just be discipled

  806. from a far because no accountability. I want to know, right,

  807. there's nocountability. Do you know that it's harder when it's

  808. close proximity because you got no choice for the cow right.

  809. That's why one of the one of the benefits I

  810. feel for me in my finest journey is that I

  811. have a coach. Until now I'm being you know, discipled

  812. by my coach right the day I went a coach

  813. shorea I know Freela today. Then he's like, take a

  814. photo of the work I do at home. I'm like, okay,

  815. cannot run away, but it's good for me, so I

  816. do it right. So, friends, I got three questions. Oh sorry,

  817. there's something that I'll just share with you is in

  818. a slide. So remember geat the vision. The vision is

  819. dominion influence. Does ex bundall Tama have influence in Banda Tama? God? Not? Right?

  820. And who's influence not just the influence of the church,

  821. the influence of God in this place? Right? And what

  822. is the mission disciple? Shape that more people are the same.

  823. And the direction that we have as a church is

  824. the Daniel direction. Where you are the influence where you

  825. are there where people recognize you as the believer in

  826. your marketplace. That's Daniel right. And the focus is God's died.

  827. Just break it down really simple for you. Actually everybody

  828. can do it right. But there's a cost to it.

  829. You know. The Bible says if we don't count the cost,

  830. that's that Sometimes we set up to do things for God, right,

  831. but we don't count the cost. No, friends, You've got

  832. to count the cost. That's why you The question is

  833. what are you saying? Is there a cost? The cost

  834. is disciplined, that's the cost. And if you don't do that,

  835. it's not going to happen. Right. So three reflection questions

  836. and you can go back and think about it and

  837. do it right. What is your heart for the loss?

  838. You got heart for loss of them? I wrote that

  839. easy even that is to myself is my heart for

  840. lost even there because it's you can. You can say

  841. a lot of slogans here, a lot of things, But

  842. do I really even care for people who do not

  843. know God? Yet? Do I really want to reach out

  844. to them? What are my challenges in being called to

  845. lead others? Well? I wrote here, I'm not good enough,

  846. but then the Lord has encouraged me and told me

  847. in Philippians for thirteen that I can do all things

  848. to Christ, who strengthens me. So it's not about me.

  849. There are a lot of people I know when we

  850. talk about this, especially, I'm not going get someone else,

  851. get someone else, get get pass to see you here

  852. all Anxi. You know, to disciple, I'm not lengthxyed enough.

  853. So when I thought people don't listen to me, it's

  854. not about me. I can do all things to Christ

  855. who strengthens friends. You can do all things to Christ

  856. who strengthens you. Your own definitely cannot, but through Christ can.

  857. And what is the one discipline that I want to

  858. work on? Well, I wrote here, meditating on God's word,

  859. this is myself lies. You know we talk about downloading

  860. from God. Joshua want It encourages us that the law

  861. and his commandments, of the commandments of God do not

  862. depart our mouth. That we will meditate it in our

  863. hearts and minds, day and night, and it shall be

  864. well with us. It will bring us prosperity. That's what

  865. happens when we meditate on God's world. That's the thing

  866. that sometimes we need more proof. But friends, I tell

  867. you so much, profety, so much profety. Don't know how

  868. much more to prove. Every time you hear peopleshap message

  869. about you know, following God and and and seeking away

  870. kingdom and then being in a place where the Lord

  871. has blessed, it's profety when you hear testimonies, it's proof

  872. God's word. What does God's worth say? Follow? It's as

  873. simple as that. There's no secret, right. That's why I

  874. want to end with maybe, extremely come up. So I

  875. hope that you've caught something. Yeah, try to make it

  876. as real as possible for your can I encourage you

  877. with this one thought? You know, when we you know,

  878. when we pursue after God and his kingdom, sometimes we

  879. think that we have to sacrifice our dreams, our desires.

  880. We have to sacrifice a lot of things. And yes,

  881. maybe at the start it may feel that way, the feeling,

  882. but our friends, I tell you, are God will surprise

  883. you one because he will bring all dreams that you

  884. think have died a long time ago, and he will

  885. just give it to you and make it come a

  886. life again. And the crazy thing is, you know, I've

  887. experienced these few times I pursue the something maybe I

  888. didn't consult God there and get it, and then I suffer.

  889. And the alternative is I surrender it to the Lord.

  890. I let the dream die, die, die to self, and

  891. I be faithful. And then suddenly when he comes back,

  892. and it's not even like I'm asking for it. When

  893. it comes back, it comes back in a place where

  894. it's more fulfilling and more at peace. Then when if

  895. I pursued it on my own in the beginning. I

  896. find it very interesting, this, this relationship, you know, because

  897. I believe that whatever desire he plays in your heart,

  898. it is from Him because He made us. So you

  899. don't shun the desire, but you submit it. You catch that,

  900. you know, you you either submit to God or you

  901. submit your dreams or your ambition or your fear or whatever.

  902. But I've come to realize that when we submit to God,

  903. he will short this thing out. Design meant you six.

  904. The tree is so real. So my encouragement today is, hey,

  905. can we submit to God? Can we surrender to him? Yes,

  906. there's desire, Yes, I know God, don't don't. Don't cut

  907. it off, laid to rest for now, leave it here first,

  908. say Lord. When it happens, I know it's going to

  909. be from you. Because the one other reminder that I

  910. got in the beginning of the year and can doing

  911. a devotion, is that you don't want to come to

  912. a place right when you can afford what God doesn't

  913. want for your life, because that's a very dangerous place

  914. to be at because if you can afford to do

  915. something that God doesn't want you to do, it might

  916. destroy you your cashtre no not too deep bla, you know.

  917. So I think sometimes even if we can and we

  918. feel like we cannot, maybe it's not for us, and

  919. we surrender it to the Lord because it's very dangerous

  920. when you can afford it. You get mean, but actually

  921. that's not what's God's plan for you know what's gonna happen.

  922. You're gonna destroy yourself, right, that's very dangerous. Amen.

  923. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
