  1. You're listening to a message to go from EX Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So today we're gonna do series three. Now, why this

  4. is important is because that's kind of felt the leading

  5. from the Holy Spirit to bring the church in alignment together.

  6. And if you're going to be part of ex Church

  7. or you have been part of ex Church, it is

  8. very important for you to understand the vision that God

  9. has given to this church and the mandate He required

  10. us to be in this church. Now we all need

  11. to have a plan for our life. Likewise, everyone needs

  12. to have a plan if you're going to be part

  13. of this church. God has a plan for this church

  14. if you believe it's say amen, and his plan is

  15. for us to be a disciple. His plan is for

  16. Earth to take dominion, to be of good influence where

  17. God has places to be. And that you know, if

  18. I've been in this church for twenty one years, now

  19. you know it's twenty two years. Oh my twenty six,

  20. twenty two years I've been in this church. I was

  21. born here in this church in a sense that I

  22. found Christ here in his church. And I always tell

  23. people that ACTS is my first church and will be

  24. my last church. It's not the easiest thing to say,

  25. because no church is perfect. There is a fair share

  26. of celebration, there is a fair share of challenges. Nevertheless,

  27. I believe that it is no coincidence that God has

  28. birthed me and planted me here in acts and likewise

  29. for you, regardless of wherever you come from. Right, God

  30. has a plan for you in this church. And in

  31. the first Unpacking series, UH, we shed about why is

  32. it important for us to unpack the vision? So when

  33. you unpack the vision, you will understand the vision. And

  34. when you begin to understand, you will then undertake the vision.

  35. I must say that we are not going to settle

  36. for a status quo. UH. The church wants God's best

  37. for your life, and we shed that in the first session,

  38. where our passion is to see you living life to

  39. your fullest potential in God, and that as we desire

  40. God's best to manifest upon your life, you should believe

  41. God for when things that are impossible amen. So the

  42. overarching vision is Hapercook two fourteen. For the earth shall

  43. be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,

  44. as water cows the sea. That's the over acting vision.

  45. Wherever God places you, whether you're in the marketplace, in

  46. a particular community, or even in your campus. We are

  47. always always guided by this. How can I be an

  48. extension of God's kingdom? How can I be an extension

  49. of God's blessing? How can I fulfill even hab two fourteen?

  50. Wherever God has placed me in you? See, the greatest

  51. purpose I believe in life is to discover God's purpose

  52. for you. Anything outside of that will lead to a

  53. form of frustration. Anything outside that will lead to a

  54. form of non fulfillment. True fulfillment can only come when

  55. you fully understand what you are made for. Now made

  56. no mistake. We're all wired differently. God has given us

  57. different talents, different skill different gifting. But all gifting, when

  58. used for God's glory, should be able to be used

  59. to fulfill Habakuk two fourteen. Now in the two series,

  60. we also sad about how the church is called to

  61. make disciples, So we take disciples ship seriously and literally.

  62. This church is big in discipleship. I look at Sam,

  63. I look at Zubin, I look at as a Steven,

  64. I look at all the people in the front row here.

  65. These are all disciples of the church, there's all disciples

  66. of Christ. And when people come to be part of

  67. ex church, the plan of the church is so that

  68. you become a disciple and in turn you invest your

  69. life to others, meaning you disciple others as well. Discipleship

  70. may sound unique to X, but it is not unique

  71. to X. It is biblical. So whenever we have people

  72. visiting from other churches. Why I say this is because

  73. in our years of ministry in Semonia, we do have

  74. students coming from out station, and they do come from

  75. a different denomination, different churches and all. And when the

  76. pastor asked them out, let's go for a meal, just

  77. to catch up, just to connect. When the church leaders

  78. ask them up, they feel like a bit like it's

  79. a big thing because back in the church where they

  80. come from, there's not much intentionality pulled into investing into life,

  81. into relational discipleship. So this church, whether you are young,

  82. you are senior like me without gray hair yet, or

  83. whether you are full of wisdom meaning you're a lot

  84. of gray hairs already, God has a plan for you.

  85. And discipleship is for everyone. Amen. So a mandate is

  86. to make disciples. So I'm just doing a very quick

  87. recap before we enter into today's series. The first twenty years,

  88. God has called us to be a Joseph Church. Why

  89. a Joseph Church is because if you know our funding,

  90. Senior Pastor, here is a man of dream as well.

  91. A lot of social enterprises that Aya has today, a

  92. lot of church plans, a lot of things that we do,

  93. is a result of the dream that God have put

  94. into Pastcano's heart. And why are Joseph Church also is

  95. because we are called to be storehouses wherever God has

  96. places to be, because the day will come where there

  97. will be a famine of the wit. The day will

  98. come where people will run to you and ask you

  99. to share the word of God to them. So as

  100. we begin to plant churches, we are also planting storehousers.

  101. So the first twenty years, from twenty to twenty twenty,

  102. we are known as the Joseph Church. But in twenty

  103. twenty God gave past the leading to read Daniel chapter one,

  104. where we are called to be in the next twenty

  105. years to be a Daniel's Church. That means to make

  106. an impact in the marketplaces, to make greater impact in

  107. the community as well. So as you begin to hear

  108. this vision. Understand that the vision is not just fulfilled

  109. in the church. The region is fulfilled through the church

  110. with a lasting impact in the community. A church that

  111. doesn't impact the community, a Christian that doesn't impact the

  112. community is like a salt that has loses its flavor.

  113. And you know what Jesus say is if a salt

  114. has los its flavor, it is worth nothing. It is

  115. better than nothing. So as a Christian, you have to

  116. understand that when we share the vision, the region is

  117. not just for the church. The vision is for your

  118. personal life, is for your family as well. So it

  119. was also during these years where two things you need

  120. to understand. In twenty fifteen, God also told us to

  121. get our house in order. This is taken from the

  122. life of King has a Kaya where King Hazeikaya's life

  123. was extended for fifteen years. So in twenty fifteen to

  124. twenty thirty, God wants AXD Church to get our house

  125. in order. What does it mean? Go back to the basic.

  126. If things needs correction, it needs to be corrected now.

  127. If the foundation needs to be repaired, need to be

  128. polished a bit, we need to get our house in order. Amen.

  129. Now today we're going to do the third section, and

  130. the keyword is preparation. All right, preparation Daniel Chapter two.

  131. We're going to read verses twenty seven to twenty eight. Amen,

  132. So let's go in Daniel two twenty sevens. Daniel answered

  133. in the presence of the king and said the secret

  134. which the king has demanded. The wise men, the astrologists,

  135. the magicians, and the sayers cannot declare to the king.

  136. But there is a god in heaven who reveals secrets,

  137. and he has made known the king Nabuccanesa what will

  138. be in the later days. When you read the book

  139. of Daniel. In chapter two, you will understand that the

  140. king had a dream. And this context is very different

  141. from Joseph. When Pharaoh, in a time of Joseph, had

  142. a dream, he shared his dream and he asked for

  143. an interpretation. No one can interpret it except Joseph. So

  144. the dream was known, and therefore the interpretation came. Daniel

  145. faced a challenge like no other. It was very different

  146. from what Joseph has had faced. In fact, when Nabukeniza

  147. had a dream, he did not share the dream with anyone.

  148. What he requires of his astrologists his sayers was this.

  149. I had a dream. Tell me the dream and tell

  150. me its interpretation. Now, let me contectualize this. Many of you,

  151. if you've studied, you have been to an exam before.

  152. Is equivalent to your lecturer telling you I'm giving you

  153. an exam. Tell me the question and tell me the answer.

  154. It is im Paul saying Bull's impossible. So but I

  155. felt that for ex Church in a coming twenty years,

  156. there will be a higher level of challenge that we

  157. will have to go through. But rest assured, REGD, nothing

  158. is impossible. We are people of faith. Our faith is

  159. anchored in God, and for the past twenty six years

  160. we have seen the hand of God upon this church.

  161. We have done things that only by the grace of

  162. God we're able to do. So when you look at

  163. even EXE money, I'm trying to contextualize now, when you

  164. look at this building many years ago, it may seem impossible.

  165. We used to meet at the library down there. I

  166. remember those days. We used to me at the library

  167. down there. Then we came up here, and it was

  168. always on a rant little basis in a sense, it

  169. ran on a weekly rental basis. But to rent it

  170. monthly almost sam impossible. Back then but today, when you

  171. look around, you will see the fingerprints of God testifying

  172. that what may seem impossible, He will make it possible.

  173. So it was impossible for Daniel and friends should there

  174. Michigago to interpret that dream without knowing that dream In fact,

  175. Nabaka Chief Astrologists and Sayers says, no, King, it is impossible.

  176. Why don't you tell us the dream first? But thank

  177. God for verse twenty eight. But there is a God

  178. in heaven who reveals secrets as you go through your

  179. life this year, and as a church, as you come

  180. to plan your homes, as you come to you to

  181. move forward in your ministry. I pray we will also

  182. say this, though the challenges are ahead of us, there

  183. is a God in heaven. Have the church saying this,

  184. There is a God in heaven. So Daniel had to

  185. tell what the dream was. And then the interpretation of

  186. the dream which was impossible for men but only possible

  187. for God, which speaks about room for the supernatural, room

  188. for the supernatural. This year, we believe it will be

  189. a year of a supernatural for you and me. You're

  190. going to see the supernatural move of God in your family.

  191. You're going to see the supernatural move of God in

  192. your marketplace. You're going to see the supernatural move of

  193. God in your ministry. In fact, for the past two

  194. weeks now, I have been praying for families. The last

  195. Sunday of the year, I pray for the families in Eli.

  196. I think in pray I was led to pray for

  197. the families as well. This year. I want to encourage

  198. all of my adult friends here. If you have been

  199. praying for your children, You're going to see the supernatural

  200. move of God to come upon your children. And I

  201. sense the burden of parents calling back their children to

  202. the Lord, because there are some children who have perhaps

  203. went a bit waved from the Lord. And your heart

  204. cry and your desire is for your son, for your

  205. daughter to come back to the Lord. And this year

  206. we want to believe for you for supernatural intervention. Likewise,

  207. I hear the heart cries of children as well, for

  208. parents to come back to the Lord, or for parents

  209. to come to know the Lord. Remember, God is a

  210. God of possibilities, and he is a miracle worker. He

  211. is a miracle working God. It will be a year

  212. of the miraculous power of God. It will be a

  213. year where the spirit of God will move like never before.

  214. It will be a year where the GIFs of the

  215. Spirit will manifest. In fact, I would like to proclaim

  216. also that it will be a year where the fruit

  217. of the Spirit should be evident in you and I,

  218. because there's no point having the power of God without

  219. the character, without the fruit of God to give us

  220. a sense of routing. So even as we desire for

  221. the supernatural working of God in our situation, we should

  222. also desire for the supernatural working of God in our life.

  223. So the fruit of a spirit, love, kindness, patience, gentleness, love, suffering,

  224. self control, etc. Will prevail in our life. So Daniel

  225. opened his mouth and became a vessel, a mouthpiece of

  226. God to speak the words of God. You see Daniel

  227. and Franscraft remain silent, but the moment he spoke, something happened.

  228. So it was in year two O two one where

  229. passed downloaded from the Lord that the team back then

  230. was prophesy. Prophesy basically means to speak God's word, to

  231. speak God's truth and all this must learn and be

  232. ready to speak the word of the Lord in its

  233. right and proper time. Remember, the power of death and

  234. life lies where with the tongue. Where our mouth go,

  235. our destiny will go. Where our mouth go, our life

  236. will go. And as people of God, we must learn

  237. to prophesy. We must learn to speak the word of life.

  238. Speak blessing, speak encouragement, speak peace, speak faith, speak healings,

  239. speak deliverance, breakthrough, and speak truth, the word of knowledge

  240. and wisdom. God will show off his power, but it

  241. will have to begain with us speaking. Fourth, we must

  242. align to God's word. So God is calling us to prepare.

  243. God is calling us to prepare. So it's not our

  244. responsibility to bring the ring. It is our responsibility to

  245. bring the umbrella. You know, this year, we really believe

  246. that revival will come. Even o'clock agrees, and he agrees

  247. for eleven times because it's eleven o'clock. We're preparing for

  248. revival and the church must be found ready. You must

  249. be found ready. Many are believing that Christ's return. Of course,

  250. it's it's going to be soon, but when you follow

  251. news around, it will be really soon as well. There'll

  252. be more challenges. I hit, I think this has been

  253. fore told. I wish I could start the new year

  254. telling you all good things. I think there will be

  255. room for good things, but it will also be room

  256. for challenges that are probably unheard of, challenges that are

  257. probably mankind I have never faced before. And all these

  258. things have been foretold in the Bible that in the

  259. last days there will be rumors of war, there'll be

  260. greater economical challenges, greater health crisis, more earthquake. For example,

  261. you read the news yesterday, you know that the United

  262. States decided to just enter into Venezuela. Take the president

  263. out out as in like transport to the States. Yeah,

  264. not out as in like out. So he's going to

  265. face trials in the States. You think about it, ten

  266. fifteen years, twenty years ago, no one would have imagined

  267. this to have taken place. So how would the geopolitics

  268. looks like in this South Caribbean, in South America? Nobody knows.

  269. How would it impact world economy? Nobody knows yet because

  270. Venezuela has a lot of oil, and you know what,

  271. I will affect the oil effects day economy. But one

  272. thing I know, God is in control. But it doesn't

  273. mean when God is in throw his people are immune

  274. from challenges. It just means, as his people, we got

  275. to be prepare ring. How should we prepare what should

  276. we prepare? Right, so the preparation for the genial hit person.

  277. I've encourage us with this five c's some one conviction.

  278. Conviction is very important. If we are going to believe

  279. something that is worth believing, you've got to believe with

  280. all your heart. And conviction is something that it comes

  281. from the Lord. If we don't believe, how would we

  282. even begin. Belief is a very powerful thing, you know.

  283. Conviction is a very powerful thing. To enjoy a great marriage,

  284. you need to have that conviction in that marriage. To

  285. enjoy your work, You've gotta have a conviction that you

  286. are there for the season to enjoy all that God

  287. has for you. Even in this church, you've got to

  288. be convinced that this is the church for you, because

  289. otherwise time passed by very fast. Ten years we are

  290. still found doing nothing. Fifteen years we are still found

  291. not being a disciple or not discipling artists. Time is

  292. flitting very fast. So we got to decide. You know,

  293. I sensed that maybe some of us we are like

  294. Mount Carmel, We are like the Israelites where Elijah need

  295. to confront us and say, if the Lord is Lord,

  296. follow him, If Baal follow him. The people didn't answer

  297. because in their heart they knew it has to be

  298. the Lord, but they were stubborn. So this year, we

  299. cannot waver between two opinion because people who waver in

  300. two opinion usually will invite a form of tagnancy in

  301. their life. When we are stagnant in our faith, we

  302. can't grow. We want us to grow, and the place

  303. for us to grow is definitely out of the comfort zone.

  304. So recently I watched a video where it talks about

  305. the comfort zone. This Malaysians chef here we know Cairo

  306. a Ming right, he sells his product online within seventeen

  307. seconds one million ringeta so his special rundown special Samba,

  308. I don't know what, and he's got to open up

  309. a restaurant in Rembayon in kl right, very popular chef.

  310. So I remember looking at his story, his video and

  311. then there's a tech line. You know, the comfort zone

  312. is a beautiful place and nothing grows. So this year

  313. I felt very strongly then the Lord is asking us

  314. to also deal with our comfort zone because the only

  315. way for us to grow is to put our faith

  316. into practice, and you can only practice faith outside of

  317. your comfort zone. When you are in your comfort zone,

  318. everything is so nice, everything is so well. Honestly, how

  319. do you practice faith? So you gotta practice faith outside

  320. of conference zon. If you have never weaknessed to someone before,

  321. maybe outside of comfort zone will put you into a

  322. place where you share the love of Jesus. Maybe you've

  323. never prayed for your coliques before, you've never prayed for

  324. someone outside of church before. Maybe outside of a comfort

  325. zone is to be praying for people. Maybe we have

  326. never served before in this church despite being here for

  327. one year, two years, three years. Maybe alsode of a

  328. comfort zone is two self being that whatever capacity that

  329. the Lord will show you to serve and be part

  330. of this church. Because our motto is helping people believe.

  331. That has always been the core of what we do

  332. to help people believe. This church is always positive. It's

  333. always why because we want people to believe that we

  334. got all things are possible. So we've got to believe

  335. in the vision. We've got to be convicted of the

  336. vision that God has given to you and I. The

  337. church exists to be an extension of God's Kingdom, to

  338. be a blessing to people. Now, second is conditioned or

  339. centralized Judges twenty one twenty five. In those days, there

  340. was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right

  341. in his own eyes. You know, unity is very important.

  342. Right if you follow football, you know that you can

  343. buy all the expensive players in the world. If they

  344. are not united, they won't win championship for you. You

  345. know this for families as well, their husband and wife.

  346. You guys got to be united. One cannot say, okay,

  347. let's send my kids to Chinese school and the other

  348. one say Nola International School better. So you're going to

  349. be be united agree on something. So unity it is

  350. important if we want to move forward. You cannot grow

  351. a church without unity. You cannot grow a church when

  352. there is no sense of moving forward together because a church,

  353. family or organization cannot move forward if we are not united,

  354. if we don't see the same things, if we don't

  355. believe the same things, if we don't catch the same thing.

  356. For example, we are called to be a church planting church.

  357. Do we really believe this that we are called to

  358. be a church planting church? Or do we say that?

  359. Why is is planner? You know we really don't have enough.

  360. Why still go out and plan person? I've always discipled

  361. us where if we think we have enough, then we plan.

  362. Why do we need God? Is when you don't have enough,

  363. you hear the voice of God, you go plan. That's

  364. when you need God. God will never lead us to

  365. a place where we depend on him less. God will

  366. always lead us to a place where we depend on

  367. him more more. No in judges. In those days there

  368. was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right

  369. in his own eyes. That means different people will have

  370. different standards. Different people will live their life as though

  371. it is right. We cannot afford to run a church

  372. where everyone is doing things their own way. Otherwise the

  373. church will be a place where it is confusing. The

  374. church will be in a place where there's no leadership.

  375. So leadership is important. This church belief in leadership. This

  376. church belief in not just discipleship, in submission as well.

  377. That whatever I've downloaded from the Lord, we will run

  378. with it for twenty one years. I can tell you

  379. we are not a coup. Yeah, because I look at

  380. some of your eyes, you're like, this is a cut

  381. or water? Why? Everyone were like almost the same way.

  382. I can tell you we're not a coup. Okay, Uh,

  383. so we've got to be in the same condition. Let

  384. me share with you that why we wear what weware

  385. is past. I've always disciples us to give God our

  386. best in whatever capacity you have. Right, if you can

  387. wear your best on a Sunday for the Lord, we

  388. will wear for the Lord. Now the best is when

  389. you open up your wardrop. If you this is your best,

  390. you wear your best all right. Let me give you

  391. another condition is like we believe in the power of

  392. small group. That means we encourage people to plan small

  393. group prayer group wherever they are because that's how we

  394. want to also fulfill have Agook two fourteen. So go

  395. campus revel and whatnot songs as well. For example, right

  396. whenever you go to ex Sneeli, it's going to be

  397. the same pool of songs, saying here, you go to xampound,

  398. it's going to be the same pool of songs, and

  399. fifty percent of the songs will be written in house.

  400. Another fifty we will let the worship leader pray and

  401. according to the song pool as well. You see, we

  402. cannot run a church where you go to xneeli then

  403. all the time we sing hymns. Then you go to

  404. XPG all the time you do praise song. Then you

  405. go to X clang all the time X church songs.

  406. Then you go to another church plan ibisha are not named.

  407. Watch YouTube and you praise and worship in YouTube, then

  408. that is not x so, which means centralization is also

  409. important for conditioning, meaning there should be a central communication

  410. to all of our ex churches to say that this

  411. is how the Lord is encouraging us to do it,

  412. and this is how we will be doing it. In fact,

  413. to unpack the series is the same you go to

  414. x Cybergia today, They're going to listen to the same notes.

  415. They're going to listen to the same message because we

  416. want to bring the church back to the place of unity,

  417. to a place of alignment. And for twenty one years here,

  418. I can tell you this is not controller. In case

  419. you're wondering what these church are very controlling, No, it's not.

  420. It is about albeying what the Lord has required us

  421. to do. I've seen all this life as I mentioned

  422. these power couples, and of course but Stephen and Ben

  423. and different lives here as well. They are your church

  424. leaders here. Talk to them, find out from them why

  425. they do what they do. They are conditions and when

  426. you're aligned to that conditions, everyone will grow together. Amen.

  427. But you say conviction comes from the Lord. Conviction comes

  428. from the Lord. I cannot convict your heart. But cit

  429. even cannot convict your heart, because when it comes to

  430. the matter of the heart, no man can convict you

  431. and I because the matter of the heart is usually

  432. it is true the work of the Holy Spirit. Only

  433. the Holy Spirit can convict your heart. Likewise for salvation.

  434. You know, like when I reflect back twenty years old,

  435. it's the Holy Spirit that convicts my heart to follow Christ.

  436. Likewise is the Holy Spirit that convicts your heart to

  437. follow Christ. So conviction comes from the Lord condition and

  438. centralizing comes from our leaders. That's why when you come

  439. to acts as leaders, we give our best. Remember the

  440. first series. We give our best so that we can

  441. draw the best from others. We give our best so

  442. that we become a role model to others. We give

  443. our best in the marketplace, be a best example, so

  444. that when people look at our lives, it's God can

  445. do it for me. God can do it for you.

  446. If I can slay this giant, God can slay your

  447. giant as well. Say because David, remember David, David slay Golia,

  448. and subsequently more giants fell after that. So condition and

  449. centralization comes from the leaders. However, even if they are

  450. conviction and condition, if there is no cooperation and commitment

  451. from everyone, we have nothing. We have nothing, really, So

  452. you and I need each other. Really, a vision is

  453. nothing without provision, and the best provision God has always

  454. been giving to asks is the provision of his people.

  455. It's a provision of you and I. So His plan

  456. has always been you and I. So we need corporation,

  457. We need the church to reach to a place where

  458. you want to be part of this revision. You want

  459. to be part of the plan for this church. Remember,

  460. God has a plan for you. God wants his best

  461. in and through you, and God often uses the church

  462. to fulfill that in your life as well. Now, the

  463. fourth sea is community in community. So God didn't create

  464. us to be an isolated being somewhere. God has always

  465. birth his church to be social with each other. In fact,

  466. when you read Corinthians, when you read I believe his

  467. efficients as well that Paul illustrate the church. Like a body.

  468. The lake cannot say to the hand, I don't need you.

  469. The eyes cannot say to the mouth I don't need you.

  470. We need each other, and God doesn't want us to

  471. move forward alone or work in isolation. They say, if

  472. you want to go far, wait job. They say, if

  473. you want to go fast, you go alone. If you

  474. want to go far, you go together. So I look

  475. at Pascade Rights Academy is a man of faith. Honestly,

  476. if he wants to go faster, I would have been

  477. left behind long time ago, you know. But because Pastor

  478. believed in me, you go and plan you like you

  479. do this, you do that. We are able to see

  480. the fruit out of Kneeline today, and you guys are

  481. one of the fruit from from kneeline. We need each other.

  482. It's fun doing things together. Last year, you guys just

  483. came back from your getaway not too long ago, a

  484. couple of months ago. You enjoy doing things together, play

  485. games together and such. It's fun, you know. Excess is

  486. a fun place to be in. Seriously, it's not just

  487. all about serious matters. Other it's serious, but seriously, we

  488. can have serious fun as well, all right. So to

  489. be part of a community is to be able to

  490. also enjoy each other's company, enjoy serving the lot together,

  491. enjoy doing life together. Investing in each other, going and

  492. growing together. One goes alone. We take our follow up.

  493. We take building relationship seriously as well, because every life

  494. that comes to an AX church is not a mistake,

  495. is it's divine and the church must do our part

  496. to contrue build this community. So community that truly cares

  497. is a community that is truly safely, the church has

  498. to be the most caring. Lie right, the church would

  499. be the most caring. It will be very set if

  500. anyone comes to an AX church and they are not remembered,

  501. it'll be very set. So we must make it a

  502. point that it is every body's business to remember someone.

  503. So it's not just the ashes, it's not just the leaders.

  504. But if we are part of acts, you make people

  505. feel well. Come. If you're a part of acts, you'll

  506. make them be connected to the homes. If you're a

  507. part of as, you will also be there. Because I

  508. have to tell you that X is not a one

  509. man's church. It's not everything go to the pastor and

  510. everything go to a pasta. These days when people call

  511. me a I give you an example. The last time

  512. something happened in a schooler. Okay, so people from AX,

  513. you like call me, pasta, can you come and pray

  514. for this person? The person is spiritually oppressed. It's almost demonic.

  515. I say, I'm not going you pray for them, because otherwise,

  516. if everything goes to the pastor, where is the opportunity

  517. for you to practice your faith? The past will only

  518. just grow in the faith. La. But what about you?

  519. There is always an opportunity to be part of a

  520. community to practice faith. Right. So a big part of

  521. community is communication, very important as anyone who is in

  522. a relationship, communication is important, right. You have to communicate.

  523. So the motivation has to be driven by love. Remember,

  524. the greatest of this is love and in you ten

  525. twenty seven. So he answered and said, you shall love

  526. the Lord your God with all your heart, with all

  527. your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,

  528. and your neighbor as yourself. Five things that we can

  529. learn about love, because it was just encouraging us. Number one,

  530. we must look up for one another. You must look

  531. up for one another. Second, must also learn to listen

  532. to one another and not just take them to speak. LA.

  533. If you go to corporate courses, your teach you five

  534. level of listening. Some people they listen to reply Some

  535. people practice active listening. Some people they are they're just

  536. not listening, but you think they're listening. But the highest

  537. level is always you listen to understand and to feel

  538. all right. So sometimes we also need to listen to

  539. news about people around. When you hear someone is not well,

  540. when you hear that someone is having a hard time,

  541. when you hear that someone don't have enough food to eat,

  542. what do you do? Do you just send them to pass? Steven,

  543. here's all people to feed, you know? Ah, we must,

  544. We must actually step up and rise to the occasion

  545. and to meet their needs. Land always ready to stop

  546. and be a helping hand and lead right, You must

  547. always lead by example and leave a legacy. The greatest

  548. gift you and I can give to each other is

  549. our legacy. It's just that I know we have parents

  550. here as well. Let me say that again. The gate

  551. greatest gift you can give to your children is the

  552. gift of legacy, which is your relationship with the lot,

  553. your testimony in the Lord. One day, if exemoney is

  554. no longer in existence, what would the community in Semonie

  555. remember you for is as a good gage? One day,

  556. if actually life is no longer around. Would people in

  557. the community actually remember us. I will be remember us

  558. for the things that we have done. But it's a good,

  559. good gig. What is the purpose of the church, you know,

  560. so leave a legacy. Zachariah seventh nine to ten says, says,

  561. a lot of hosts execute true justice, show mercy and

  562. compassion everyone to his broad Do not oppress the widow

  563. or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. Let none

  564. of you plan evil in his heart against his brother.

  565. The last say is this, we want to spend this

  566. year also more time on training. Right, many of you

  567. are aware of Ex Pioneers Preparation School, which is our

  568. Bible school. Sign up for these courses, sign up for

  569. the module. What we want to do is to see

  570. more people equip because on one hand, people can say

  571. share the gospel, share about Jesus. On the other hand,

  572. if people are not equipped, they won't be able to

  573. share it confidently. On one hand, we want people to

  574. do small group, but if we are not equipping them

  575. to do small group, they won't be able to do

  576. small group. So I think training should continue to take

  577. place in a greater scalable manner because the goal of

  578. training is to make disciples, produce leaders, raise and release

  579. Daniels into the marketplace. If we don't teach people to

  580. witness in the marketplace, they don't know how. If we

  581. don't teach people to work under bad bosses like King

  582. the Bulcanesa, they don't know how. In fact, the only

  583. way most people know how is to quit their job

  584. and move on to the next job. But what if

  585. we teach people what does it meant to be resilient

  586. in the marketplace? What if we teach people that through

  587. your resiliency, God will open doors for the gospel to flourish.

  588. I expect this because most of you know in my

  589. company for eighteen years. Really now this year I can

  590. say eighteen years am I company. So we've got to

  591. focus on training because a lot of people they don't

  592. know how because they are not trained to know. They

  593. are not trained to do right. So it spoken about discipleship.

  594. Three things about discipleship before I end, three ingredients. The

  595. first one, discipleship is not a programmed Discipleship is follow me.

  596. Discipleship is follow me. So discipleship is not about following

  597. a program, but about people following people. Dicipe paul In

  598. first Corinthians eleven. One says follow me as I follow Christ,

  599. and there are very good examples here. Look at ussas Stephen,

  600. I look at Samuel. We share similar things. Yeah, we

  601. share very similar thing because I disciple them. All right,

  602. We're in the same company for X number of years.

  603. We travel long distance from ministry. I visited Sam recently

  604. because Holy Spirit told me to go visit him. So

  605. I took a flight down to jb last Monday. And

  606. you know, I understand the price you're paying because JB

  607. in is Kanada to do ministry the land is quite wise.

  608. So to travel one point to that point thirty minutes

  609. forty minutes. And Sam is working very hard for his

  610. company and for him to travel to his company and

  611. back his long distance as well. But I see that,

  612. I see that model. I see whatever I'm doing, you're

  613. doing as well, because I travel long distance as well.

  614. From Subang Neili this death. I'm gonna tell you that

  615. it's not easy. It's not easy. Discipleship is not easy,

  616. and without a model, it will be difficult. All of

  617. us need a role model. I'm not here to say

  618. that I'm the best role model. Far from it. I

  619. have my own flaws. You haven't seen my data side,

  620. which is reserved for the lot Ah. But all of

  621. us need a role model, So follow me as I

  622. follow Christ. Second, fit my ship. We should continue to

  623. fitfully fit the people that God has given to us.

  624. Fit them with the God of God, fit them with faith,

  625. fit them with testimonies, fit them with belief. Third, features

  626. of men. You know we cannot be affought to be,

  627. not going out and weakness to people. The best test

  628. of faith is always weaknessing. So let's not get spiritually

  629. fat and and only be on the receiving end, but

  630. exercise our faith by giving true making disciples. Two scriptures

  631. here before I end. The first one is the Great commandment,

  632. Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul,

  633. and with all your mind, and with all your strength.

  634. Second the Great commission, make disciples of all nations. You

  635. see the word all in these two scriptures, All basically

  636. means everyone. So many years ago God gave Paster this

  637. word from small to more. It takes all. What it

  638. meant is basically means to grow big. We have to

  639. grow small, okay, and it takes everyone to do it

  640. because we can't grow too big if we don't give

  641. our all, and we need to be ready to give

  642. God all, use everything that we have to make sure

  643. that everyone we have is on board. So when we

  644. talk about discipleship, is how we do it as well. Adquate,

  645. equip encourage and empower. So I do you watch the

  646. discipleship is also about passing on. Discipleship is about role modeling,

  647. passing on. And many of you who are part of

  648. our homes before or you have never shared the word

  649. in homes. You realize that most of the time you

  650. observe your home leader teaching. Subsequently, when you're appointed, you

  651. will teach fifty percent. Your homes leader will teach fifty percent,

  652. and going forward you'll be on your own. Why is

  653. because I do you watch? I do you help you do?

  654. I help you do I watch? Likewise, when it comes

  655. to preaching as well, I remember when Passus Stevens first

  656. started preaching. It's the same you were sent to NIELI

  657. we go through that process as well. You see. And

  658. by saying this, when we are in church or when

  659. we are doing ministry together, it's important for us to

  660. open our eyes. It's important for us to open our

  661. eyes and observe and learn because the day will come

  662. where the Lord will open doors for you. And you

  663. cannot say that I don't know how to teach in

  664. a home. I mean, for the past five years, Heaven,

  665. you've been observing your homes leader, I cannot worship. I

  666. mean like for the past ten years you have been

  667. worshiping here have wn you observe the worship leader. So

  668. nobody can say I don't know. Nobody. Everyone must be observing,

  669. and the best person you should observe is the Lord himself.

  670. And to observe the Lord is to observe his word.

  671. Discipleship is easy when you keep God's word in your heart.

  672. Discipleship is easy when you align your purpose to God's word. Amen.

  673. So when I say extreme comes up as I end

  674. Part three, it's an investment, la friends, Discipleship is an

  675. investment of life. Pass a chat before that. The greatest

  676. investment you and I can make. It's not in dollars

  677. and cents, but it is really in life. The greatest

  678. fulfillment is when you begin to see the very life

  679. you invest in grow and they do better than you.

  680. You see them having that personal relationship with God, you

  681. see them taking the call of God. Upon their life

  682. and grow. I'm a recipient of passes investment into my life,

  683. eldest investment in my life. And I want to end

  684. by saying this is there. If you can't remember everything

  685. that I sad today, the nose are in the book.

  686. Just remember this. We take discipleship seriously. No one is perfect. Friends,

  687. you don't have to wait for the perfect man or

  688. to show up. And then you say that okay, only

  689. you can disciple me. I say, if you're a part

  690. of as God has a plan for you, you've got

  691. to be part of that plan. Because if you're not

  692. part of a plan, you have not coming on board

  693. with a plan. Five years can come and go, ten

  694. years can come and go, and the question is what

  695. have you been doing with your life? Because this church

  696. is not going to settle for anything less than what

  697. God has asked us to do. It will cost us something, friends, us,

  698. It cosses our time, it causes our talent, it causes

  699. even our treasure. But remember the Lord says obedience is

  700. better than sacrifice. And this church we were disciple to

  701. whatever the Spirit of God tells us to do, we

  702. will do. Of course, he has to be with godly counsel.

  703. You have to be aligned with God's word. There is

  704. submission assent.

  705. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  706. information on our church, please visit as church org. We

  707. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

  708. this week is going to be a good week. I

  709. hit for you. God bless
