  1. You're listening to a message to go from ax Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. My message today is not about the lion, the witch

  4. and the Lord wardrobe. When it's about the gift, the

  5. giver and the gifted. Okay, cool, And just to just

  6. give us a little yeah, just to open our hearts.

  7. And not only just that one time giving, but anytime

  8. when God speaks to you, or when you want to

  9. prepare something for the lot, just something to a spin

  10. inspiration for you. So if you are okay, do you

  11. mind we read God's work today?

  12. Yeah, we'll read it. I'll read it together.

  13. You read with your eyes, you can read it, We'll

  14. believe you want vocally, but with sound. Boone bolet Okay,

  15. I'm reading today Second Corinthians, chapter eight, verse one to fifteen.

  16. Second Corinthians, chapter nine, verse one to fourteen, from the

  17. New Living Translation. Okay, so you can follow through with

  18. me in your own Bible versions or you can see

  19. that watched the screen because XTV helped me put the

  20. scriptures on slights this morning.

  21. Amen.

  22. So let's read and if you would just follow me,

  23. you will discover the story here. We're going to be

  24. reading Second Corintiance, chapter eight. Now this is Paul writing

  25. to the church that he planted, the church that he planted,

  26. and now he's writing letters to them to remind them

  27. about God's call on their lives.

  28. All right, here we go.

  29. Now, I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters,

  30. what God, in his kindness has done through the churches

  31. in Macedonia. They are being tested by many troubles, and

  32. they are very poor, but they are also filled with

  33. abundant joy which has overflowed in rich generosity.

  34. For I can testify that they gave.

  35. Not only what they could afford, but far more, and

  36. they did it of their own free will. They begged

  37. us again and again for the privilege for sharing in

  38. the gift for the believers in Jerusalem. They even did

  39. more than we had hoped for. Their first action was

  40. to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just

  41. as God wanted them to do. So we urged Titus,

  42. who encouraged your giving in the first place, to return

  43. to you and encourage you to finish this ministry of giving.

  44. A man wow, a ministry of giving.

  45. We have ministry of hospitality, ministry of ushers, and now

  46. we're a ministry of giving. Since you excel in so

  47. many ways in your faith, in your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your.

  48. Enthusiasm, and your love from.

  49. Us, I want you to excel also in this gracious

  50. acts of giving Verse eight. I am not commanding you

  51. to do this, but I am testing how genuine your

  52. love is by comparing it with the eagerness of the

  53. other churches.

  54. Verse nine. You know the generous grace of our Lord

  55. Jesus Christ.

  56. Though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor,

  57. so that by his poverty he could make you rich.

  58. Amen. Here is my advice.

  59. It would be good for you to finish what you

  60. started a year ago. Last year, you were the first

  61. who wanted to give, and you were the first to

  62. begin doing it.

  63. Now you should finish what you started.

  64. Let the eagerness you showed in the beginning be matched

  65. now by your giving. Give in proportion to what you have.

  66. Whatever you give is excel if you give it eagerly

  67. and give it according to what you have, not what

  68. you don't have.

  69. Of course, I.

  70. Don't mean your giving should make life easy for others

  71. and hard for yourselves.

  72. I only mean that there should be some equality.

  73. Right now, you have plenty, and you can help those

  74. who are in need. Later they will have plenty and

  75. can share with you when you need it. In this

  76. way things will be equal, as the scripture says, those

  77. who gathered a lot had nothing left over, and those

  78. who gathered only little had enough.

  79. Amen, hallelujah.

  80. The last you know scripture there those who gathered a

  81. lot and nothing left over. It comes from Exodus chapter sixteen,

  82. where the children of Israel gathered manner. They if they

  83. had more, nothing left, if they had less, just.

  84. Enough, always enough. Amen.

  85. Now we move to Second Corinthience, chapter nine, verse one

  86. to fourteen. Try to follow me, Amen, and or read

  87. through So nine chapter nine, verse one. Paul says, Yeah,

  88. I really don't need to write to you about this

  89. ministry of giving for the believers in Jerusalem, for I

  90. know how eager you are to help. And I've been

  91. boasting to the churches in Macedonia that you in Greece

  92. were ready to send an offering a year ago. In fact,

  93. it was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of the

  94. Macedonian believers to begin giving.

  95. But I'm sending you these.

  96. Brothers to be sure you really are ready, as I've

  97. been telling them, and that your money is all collected.

  98. I don't want to be wrong in my boasting about you.

  99. We could be embarrassed. Not to mention your own embarrassment

  100. if some Macedonian believers came with me and found that

  101. you weren't ready after all that I had told them.

  102. So I thought I should send these brothers ahead of

  103. me to make sure the gift you promise is ready.

  104. But I want it to be a willing gift, not

  105. one given grudgingly.

  106. Verse six.

  107. Remember this, a farmer who plans only a few seats

  108. will get a small crop, but the one who plans

  109. generously will get a generous crop. You must decide in

  110. your heart how much how much to give, and don't

  111. give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves

  112. a person who gives cheerfully, and God will generously provide

  113. all that you need. Then you will always have everything

  114. you need and plenty left over to share with others.

  115. As the scripture says, they share freely and give generously

  116. to the poor, their good deeds will be remembered forever

  117. Verse ten. For God is the one who provides seed

  118. for the farmer, and then bread to eat. In the

  119. same way, He will provide and increase your resources and

  120. then produce a great harvest of generosity in you verse eleven. Yes,

  121. you will be enriched in every way so that you

  122. can always be generous. And when you take your gifts

  123. to those who need them, they will thank God. So

  124. two good things will result from this ministry of giving.

  125. The needs of the believers in Jerusalem will be met,

  126. and they will joyfully express that thanks to God verse thirteen.

  127. As a result of your ministry, they will give glory

  128. to God for your generosity to them and to all believers.

  129. Will prove that you are obedient to the good News

  130. of Christ. And they will pray for you with deep

  131. affection because of the overflowing grace God is given to you.

  132. Thank God for this.

  133. Gift, too wonderful for words to the reading of God's Word.

  134. Amen. All right, if you've never read chapter eight and nine,

  135. now you read it with me.

  136. This is a portion of Second Corinthians. Now the background

  137. of the Corinthian Church. Said, as I said, Paul planted

  138. the Corinthian church. He was the pastor there, and then

  139. he handed it over like how we do here. We

  140. planned the church in Pasidor Pasadenia, and then he went

  141. away to plant other churches, and he heard about some

  142. stuff that was happening in the Corinthian Church that was

  143. not good. People were doing things like, you know, marrying

  144. their brothers sister something like that. Not so good, not

  145. so healthy. And then there was gossip bickering. So he

  146. wrote to the church. He almost fell I have to

  147. write this hard letter. But then there's this section where

  148. he was reminding them about their their their eagerness, the

  149. enthusiasm to support the church in Jerusalem, the believers who actually,

  150. if you know by history that the believers in Jerusalem

  151. were highly persecuted because they did not believe that Jesus

  152. is the King of kings and the Lord of laws,

  153. that he's the savior. They don't judaism, amen, all right,

  154. And so they were raising funds to send to Jerusalem

  155. to help the believers because they were under much persecution.

  156. And so the church in Korin said yes, we will

  157. do it, but then they forgot. So early year they

  158. said yes, and later they forgot. So the following year

  159. Paul writes this and to remind them. So I'm just

  160. going to draw out my thoughts and my own readings

  161. of what it can reflect on us just from scripture.

  162. Is that?

  163. Okay, Church, you're very quiet. Come on stand forty five service.

  164. You should be alive. Amen.

  165. All right, no time, no time, finish quickly sent Okay,

  166. I finish quickly, all right?

  167. Okay.

  168. So the gift, the giver, and the gifted. My encouragement

  169. to you Church, as we prepare for not only our

  170. aniversary giving, but just to understand the heart of giving,

  171. as the Lord will speak to you over the year

  172. whatever God would speak to you, that you'll be ready

  173. whatever time God speaks.

  174. Okay. So I first start with the gift. Amen. So

  175. the gift.

  176. The gift is like seed, Amen, seed that you will sew.

  177. So I think you all have a seat. Whatever that

  178. you have in your hand is a seat, the seed

  179. that you will sow.

  180. And what is the seed?

  181. It's your money, all right, I said it. Okay, don't

  182. stone me. I have to talk about money in judgment.

  183. But then Bible, God talk a lot about it. Seed

  184. during your soul. What is it your money? It's a

  185. sacrifice of your love. It's a willing and generous gift.

  186. This gift needs to be a willing gift. It needs

  187. to be a generous gift that you give out of

  188. much sacrifice, and you're going to sow this Amen. So

  189. as you prepare and you think, why am I giving

  190. this gift? What is this gift? This gift, according to Paul,

  191. is like seed that you sew.

  192. Amen.

  193. So I want to encourage us. Perhaps you have not

  194. been along with us? And how do you do this?

  195. How does God would speak to you?

  196. For me?

  197. When I prepare the gift, I give from my own

  198. heart by desire. This is what I want to give

  199. to the Lord. And many times it could be more

  200. than what I might have. But of course, as we

  201. read scripture, he says, you know, give what you have,

  202. give in proportion to what you have in chapter eight, right,

  203. and and give accordingly. Give Give whatever you give is acceptable,

  204. and may you give it eager?

  205. All right? So give from what you have, not what

  206. you don't have.

  207. So you know, one is no one can tell you

  208. how much or whatever you give and don't so this

  209. gift that you're on your hand, don't feel like it's competition, No,

  210. sh I say earlier, Hey, Richard, how a much you giving? Alma,

  211. I don't have that much to give? Then you feel pressured,

  212. and you actually give so much you little or you know,

  213. then you get so I give so much?

  214. Pressure again, how come I'm here should give less? So

  215. the pa you say, don't feel pressure.

  216. Whatever you give, you give according to the proportion that

  217. you have and how God is speaking to you. So

  218. two ways you can go about it. You can tell

  219. God like I do. I say, Lord, I'm blessed by you.

  220. So I have this gift I desire to give. Lord,

  221. help me meet that amount of seed that I want

  222. to give. Some of you will say Lord, how much

  223. should I give? You can also ask that and then

  224. let the Lord speak to you. So for me, I

  225. just am I feel so blessed, I'm saved, I've been

  226. here delivered. I just say, Loh, whatever I have is yours.

  227. So I want to give you a gift, and and

  228. for most times the Lord provides. I'm amazed at how

  229. God provides the gift that I want to give, and

  230. and it comes in different forms.

  231. How does it come?

  232. So this year praying, praying about it, and decided to

  233. set aside the number and.

  234. Then guess what government give me back? Money? Two years?

  235. Two years one? I'm like.

  236. In fact, it's called it what you give me back?

  237. Money you give me once, when do you give me

  238. a second?

  239. One?

  240. Then found out, oh, during the pandemic, I still paid.

  241. We put in our what do you got it our

  242. he is in come text? Yeah PCB.

  243. But they didn't read fund back our funds.

  244. Oh, very quickly they gave me back all our two

  245. years worth of texts.

  246. And and so there's funds now whoa okay, and there's

  247. another halb that know whatever? And I want to give.

  248. So God gives as you desire to give to him.

  249. You and ask him, you pray about it. You know,

  250. you put yourself out there with a lot to experience

  251. God's provision.

  252. Amen.

  253. So now I'm ready with the seed and I want

  254. to sow that seed.

  255. Amen. So seed is in our hands. We need to

  256. sew it.

  257. And when we sew it, it will go further from

  258. when we first started.

  259. Hallelujah. Amen.

  260. We may have sown a lot in Singapore back in

  261. two thousand and nine. There's a long time ago, but

  262. we're gone further.

  263. Than sing Upore.

  264. Now. As a church, we've had the opportunity not only

  265. to plant jas, but to touch many other lives, other ministries.

  266. So even the context of church. Your money you're giving,

  267. your hard work has gone further than where you are.

  268. Somebody's going to meet you in heaven one day and

  269. shake your hand and say hey, thank.

  270. You, Daniel. And you're like, who are you? I don't

  271. know you?

  272. Is it?

  273. I know you?

  274. Just like the Macedonian Church was poor, they were persecuted,

  275. but they wanted to give to the believers in Jerusalem.

  276. And they maybe Macedonian don't even know their names, don't

  277. even know their face, but one day in heaven they

  278. will say, hey, thank you because the gospel reached me.

  279. Thank you Daniel.

  280. And you're like, whoa, I didn't go to Siberia, but

  281. the funds reached me. So there's always seat in our

  282. hands on and encourage us. Whenever you give to the law,

  283. always look at it as seat that God has given

  284. to you. It's a generous seed, it's a willing seat.

  285. It's a sacrificial seed of love that you're going to sow. Amen.

  286. If you can look.

  287. At it as seed and it's not departing from you,

  288. it is extending yourself.

  289. Amen.

  290. Yeah, it's hard work. You work very very hard, and

  291. you earn it. It's your blood, sweat, and tears every

  292. day you work. Okay, it's your gift. Someone gave it

  293. to you. Whatever you know, it's seed in your hands.

  294. And you know that your life, actually your life is

  295. your money because you work very hard for it. You do,

  296. and God some of you. God has given you power

  297. to make money. That's what Deuteronomy it says, God give

  298. you power to make money. You're so good at doing business.

  299. So whatever God has given to you is a real blessing.

  300. How do you want to sow that seat that's in

  301. your hand? They will go further than your hands and

  302. feet can ever take you. This is how the Lord does,

  303. and his economy never runs dry. God never forgets you.

  304. He's so good and this is what He's done. Here

  305. for the challenge of Paul speaking to the church in

  306. corinth to the believer, saying, Corinthian, you forgot, but you

  307. better continue to give.

  308. Why because the Macedonian.

  309. Church, who's poor, persecuted, in trouble, hurt that you want

  310. to give all. Wow, they so inspired, not pressured, inspired

  311. to give, and so pausing. It's okay, it's okay, Macedonian brothers.

  312. You already persecuted. You really don't have you don't have

  313. to give your poor don't call me poor, don't rob.

  314. Me or my blessing from heaven. We want to give

  315. to go and now no, we want to keep giving.

  316. That's why it says that they gave more than they

  317. could have.

  318. They just that they I have every set I give

  319. you because the believers in.

  320. Jerusalem, who are under greater.

  321. Persecution need our support. WHOA they said, don't stop me,

  322. let me give. And so Paul was just encouraging the

  323. Korean church. The Korinthian Church was a very The people

  324. in Korine were very you know, eloquent, They were very rich.

  325. They were very well off people there and the church

  326. where he planted, they wanted to give. But then they forgot.

  327. I think somewhere along the line. The church problems. So

  328. see problems everywhere, okay, but Paul had to address the issue,

  329. and he was encouraging.

  330. Them to give. Amen.

  331. So you have the gift, and you hold that gift,

  332. don't hold it too hard. Also, don't tell please let

  333. go the gifts where they can fly, because.

  334. Sometimes we give it. Tell me where no, cannot do this, No, you.

  335. Gotta let me let them have wings to fly and

  336. to perform that which God wants it to perform. Amen,

  337. let it go. Let it go, and he will go far.

  338. Then the giver to the giver.

  339. Amen. Well, the giver is the willing, willing vessel. Amen.

  340. Guys, you're the carrier. Yeah, praise God. Don't carry disease,

  341. carry blessing. Okay, you're a carrier. You're the carrier. You're

  342. the generous sower. The giver is the one that sows.

  343. You're the sower.

  344. And every time you sew, there's overflowing grace on your life.

  345. God a bounds to you. Have you experienced this church?

  346. I hope you have because you give. You give your

  347. not only your tithes. You give your offerings, you give pledges,

  348. You give to different needs around you, as the Lord

  349. ministers to you.

  350. So you give. Right. Have you given at times when

  351. you didn't have enough, but you gave?

  352. Have your experienced God's over flowing, abounding towards you are

  353. kind of provision?

  354. Amen?

  355. And that's what he's saying. Paul is encouraging the church

  356. in Corinth In chapter nine. He says, you must each

  357. decide in your heart how much to give. Please don't

  358. give reluctantly or in response to pressure don't because God

  359. loves the cheerfulgiver, and God generously provide all you need.

  360. I pray you have experienced this one way or another.

  361. Then you always have everything you need, plenty life over

  362. to share with others. And as the scripture says, you

  363. know you chef freely and give generously to the poor,

  364. their good deeds will be remembered forever. Or give to

  365. whatever they need, not not just the poor. Maybe there

  366. are needs people, family friends. We try, our best women

  367. is here we see. Then there's usual wisdom discernmined depending

  368. on the different circums census. I just have to say,

  369. as God brings people to our myths, especially in our church,

  370. we we do get a lot of needs from refugees,

  371. We get needs from different organizations, and we pray and

  372. decide who and how to sew in and so you're

  373. giving always goes further. It touches many lives. It helps

  374. others to do the job, to do the work. Recently,

  375. we I don't know whether you know this, that we

  376. have a deaf ministry and recently the the some of

  377. one of our defly leaders of who works for it?

  378. Who works for a I don't know say translation Bible translation,

  379. but they translate silent translation.

  380. Okay, silent yeah for the deaf.

  381. The Bible for the dea. Have you seen the Bible

  382. for the death sign signing. It's actually a video. So

  383. when I preach, I say, here's verse so and so

  384. versus John Da da, and then I go like that

  385. and they're signing.

  386. Everybody silent. I also have to be silent.

  387. So they're signing, and then the whole chapter John chapter

  388. three wherever.

  389. They understand that.

  390. But if I read the Bible to them, they can't

  391. because the English is not their language, but Hasa is

  392. not the language.

  393. Signing is their language.

  394. So when I started using the Bible signing Bible, then

  395. they were very appreciative and they said, now I understand

  396. the scripture because I'm reading this life. I don't know

  397. what you're talking about because it's hard to sign, but

  398. they can and then from there break down the message. Right.

  399. So someone who works in that line, that whole organization

  400. is an arm of Weekliffe.

  401. But America pulled out, so.

  402. Now they have no funding and so everybody gotta go

  403. and drive grab. Not no problem driving grab. They do

  404. that most of their definitely drive grab.

  405. Have you thought about that.

  406. Wow, right, they're definitely drive grab and so one of

  407. our guys see very very important role in places.

  408. So they wrote to.

  409. Us it can be right to extra sure, right to us.

  410. They said, we're raising funds so that we can have

  411. this fund that was pulled out, so that we can

  412. pay us stuff to keep the translation of the Bible.

  413. Now they got like only a very short number like

  414. Genesis mark here, and they're no, they don't have the

  415. full Bible in sign language yet. So I'm being educated

  416. as I'm going a lot though they already had it.

  417. Oh sorry, no, only so much just started five years ago.

  418. But funds have been pulled out, and so wee Cliff,

  419. which is a Bible translation organization Christian they now are

  420. taking you know, they got different answers Southeast Asia, US, whatever,

  421. and so now they say we'll try to fund you,

  422. but not enough. So they have raised their own funds

  423. so they can have full time workers. So they asked us,

  424. would you fund since Chris works Chris worships at your church,

  425. would you consider So we thought yeah, sure. They were

  426. to raise a certain amount, so together KL and London

  427. Combiner to support him for I don't know a year.

  428. They want three years. I can't, come on, I can't

  429. go fort with three years. Yeah, so I said, give

  430. you a year's salary so that he can keep the

  431. job and don't have to do it part time, but

  432. do it full time to quickly translate the Bible. So

  433. your funds have gone further. Two then then you you

  434. will know, I will know. Right then the opportunity comes.

  435. We have the funds and I combine it with the

  436. UK because they also wanted to be a part of it.

  437. So we shay and to support them. It's not like

  438. a lot, but it's still their bread and butter. Praise

  439. God right that your gift, as you carried it was

  440. sold now into the deaf community so they can have

  441. a Bible.

  442. Amen.

  443. And I pray that as you prepare and pray, pray

  444. and ask a lot of you desire and your heart

  445. to give, that you would also experience the generosity of

  446. God for you and so that you can give and experience.

  447. The abounding grace of the Lord. Amen. Amen.

  448. And I want to I just want to say that

  449. I not we're not gone money, you're not asking you

  450. please give it free will to any time, anytime there's

  451. anything that involves funding this us. Just do it out

  452. of free will, willingness love. It's your sacrifice. You give

  453. your the carrier, and you're going to give towards whatever

  454. God is speaking to you, especially through the church, because

  455. the church is still God's answer.

  456. To the world.

  457. As much as we're a lot of issues in the church,

  458. but the church is still the answer to the world.

  459. Mind you, if Jesus comes, don't believe what all these

  460. speakers says, he'll be found not in the church. He'll

  461. be you know, he'll be found in the church first.

  462. They never read their Bible. That's why the speakers and

  463. for years I listened to if Jesus comewed, you think

  464. you'll be out defeating the poor.

  465. No, no, no, He'll be in.

  466. The church first speaking to us, and then you go out.

  467. So the church is the answer for all things, his bride,

  468. don't you forget that.

  469. And man, we're the carriers.

  470. Let's be willing vessels to carry to sow and to

  471. expect earns the abounding grace of God.

  472. Amen. Amen, Amen, Oh, come on, any carries in the

  473. house today? Who amen? Right?

  474. I I'm not used to silence, so you must think

  475. my house will be saying, right, my husband is an introvert.

  476. He's an introvert. Yeah, yeah, yeah, in the house is silent.

  477. Mm hmm, yeah, so I make a noise, all right.

  478. So moving on, moving on the gifted, the gift that

  479. the one who receives. Wow, when the when the need

  480. is met, they are rejoicing. That's gratefulness. Somebody hurt my cry.

  481. There's joyful thanksgiving and then a scripture says you met

  482. the need, and then they pray for you when they

  483. remember that somebody got.

  484. Sent to pass to give this to us. Do you

  485. know what we do?

  486. Almost sometimes I struggle with isla, but there you just

  487. so you know, mission past a not easy job. We

  488. got a lot of people request save for money. I

  489. have to discern who I give to. But I know

  490. I give as a change that we have to do,

  491. so I don't mind sewing. But the Pakistani refugee is,

  492. oh my, I don't know. They have five children each

  493. family and then they're still pregnant, so supor.

  494. So super. They're like, please help. I'm saying, why you

  495. have not a baby?

  496. No, I say that they're not myself in there in

  497. one of ours all they say, and they just need help.

  498. And really I always say I will provide the funds.

  499. We will give towards your you need to feed your family,

  500. but I can't pay your hospital bills because that's a

  501. way above.

  502. We have.

  503. We set a budget and that's the way above. But

  504. we make sure we feed you. So we really try.

  505. And it's not it's many. You're the old company and

  506. we already noted in Pakistani. Ready say if you go

  507. to Malaysia and nobody helps you, there's this church called

  508. ex Church. God, I don't know dey find us? So

  509. we finished one gang left radio. Now another gangame another

  510. new gangler so like how you know us? So I

  511. heard they ready called Radar So it's us or the

  512. church next door to us. So we work together with

  513. the other church.

  514. And we thought, all, I say, how if we've got funds,

  515. we give.

  516. Honestly, we have supported one family really closely and they've

  517. got they got to be placed. What you've got the

  518. repatriation there.

  519. Now this family is in Canada.

  520. Our former our former team member, our church member now now.

  521. Moved on Radiolar.

  522. So because of this positive story, they all think we

  523. can make miracles to send them to Canada. You know,

  524. because they successfully repatriated to Canada, and they said, we

  525. didn't do anything.

  526. It's God thing. They found a way.

  527. We just we just took care of one family. This

  528. family was especially.

  529. Somebody form from Kadjak, and the church say, we have

  530. a Pakistani family. He got no job. He was okay

  531. as a guard or some security. Got no job.

  532. Now he has to move to Subank. You can find

  533. all people in Suba. So they are just leaving behind

  534. our summit. Can the church in Subank tack then?

  535. Okay? One man? Yeah forever?

  536. Yeah. The other churches say, but you just think. So

  537. I say, for your contributing sola, but not for long.

  538. And so now X is known. So there's some radar

  539. there in Pakistan and Kama and nobody helps you. You

  540. go to ex church, Yo, I have to figure out.

  541. I mean, this is the money of the church, the

  542. missions or whatever not. All your university goes to dead

  543. like other things to support. So I want to say

  544. the alien the foreigner. The Bible talks about the alien

  545. and foreigner. Don't don't because one day we might be

  546. alien somewhere. Right, we pray people be kind to us,

  547. so at least feed them, feed them, feed them, they

  548. come to church, they come to our service, and yeah,

  549. just I seem to balance this out. But we gave

  550. towards whatever that we can help to support. So we

  551. gave and and and and it says that you know,

  552. God will provide for us, that we always have plenty

  553. leftover to share with others. And the service that they

  554. attend our church members, partners or ex they are super

  555. also very very generous. So they took up the six

  556. thousand dollars of hospital bill. I see you, crazy man.

  557. You're gonna do it again? Is it? No? Cannot, cannot, okay,

  558. But they took it up to help this family, our partners,

  559. and we paid for some things help them, but they

  560. took up They say their mind may help. So I'm

  561. partners in one particular service, Hooper kind. We are going

  562. to find them next time we need help.

  563. So because they say, but we can.

  564. They're all working adults and family, So they say, so,

  565. I just see the one who received is then blessed,

  566. comforted at the time of need. They're joyful and me

  567. they always remember you in prayer Amen, that they will

  568. give thanks to the Lord. And we've we've gone further

  569. than when we began and so my encouragement to all

  570. of us is as we maybe we as a church,

  571. we do many things, we do different things. We're always

  572. out in the community, we're doing missions or you know,

  573. just here. We're busy with our lives.

  574. We're just so much.

  575. There's one area and time when while we're busy in

  576. our lives, there's this one time we get to give

  577. a gift back to the Lord and let the Lord

  578. teach us and show us.

  579. Where to give. And if you look at all my pictures,

  580. they all have hands in it. They're hands in it.

  581. Because even as past I mean pastor has been living

  582. by faith for these thirty years, as much as he tells.

  583. Us about the story.

  584. But a monkey pull, not chicking the bag from the

  585. coconut tree.

  586. We've never experienced that.

  587. But sometimes it's supernaturally, like I don't know who, but most.

  588. Times God uses brothers and sisters.

  589. And even who are non believers sometimes but brother and

  590. sisters to support the need or to give to anything.

  591. It's so amazing. It's surprising.

  592. I don't have the kind of faith that my husband

  593. has because I really look at him judging Leno.

  594. You know, like where are you getting it?

  595. Because I kin't of afford the sponsor or something something,

  596. And sometimes he just gives, But then it comes back again,

  597. pressed down, shaken together, running over. If you've never experienced that,

  598. you got to And then I slowly learned as well,

  599. and and and just seeing how God continues to supply

  600. all our needs. But I have to humbly say, it's

  601. not like it fell from heaven.

  602. It didn't. It needn't turn out at my doorsteps.

  603. Sometimes it does, but most times I have to say

  604. thank you to somebody and and and look at them

  605. in the eye and say thank you and receive it

  606. with humility. That God would choose someone a person to

  607. bless us. That's that some people can't handle this. It's

  608. like no way, like it's too hard to receive from people.

  609. But it's an act of humility, those the act of

  610. to accept people that you.

  611. Might not know or might not have met, and they

  612. are strangers that God sends to you. Wow.

  613. Is that amazing that God still uses you and I

  614. to bless people.

  615. And we cannot judge them as what you need to.

  616. He asked that God speak to you you give you

  617. wanna let it go, so that whatever the need is,

  618. they will need to use it, and they're answerable to

  619. the Lord for what has been given to them. Whatever

  620. we give to the Lord, we've given to the Lord.

  621. As the Church, we're also responsible how we use it

  622. them means I have to answer to the Lord.

  623. Amen. So hands are still the way to go.

  624. Meaning the Lord always provides through the people of God.

  625. Amen.

  626. Amen, if you've read through the Bible, even in the

  627. even in the building of the temple in Moses time,

  628. God could have just breathed it because he owns the

  629. kettle of a thousand years.

  630. The gold and the silver is his. But who provided

  631. for a temple? Who? Church?

  632. Jappa, no answer anybody who provided for the building of

  633. the temple. In the In the Book of Yeah, people

  634. respond la respond less even say something people, thank you,

  635. thank you.

  636. I need some voice. Yeah people.

  637. Right. He used his own people, his children, and he said,

  638. if you want to give, give, give willingly, and and

  639. got touched them and they gave willingly for the building

  640. of the temper until it was too much.

  641. Amen.

  642. And then Moses is say please stop, you stop can

  643. already because the artisans, the people building said OK, no

  644. place really, no place to pull your gold, your silver,

  645. your purple you're blue. You know your rocks and all

  646. that you can't put ready, So please stop short. Wow wow,

  647. I tell you what believers beloved of the Lord. I

  648. believe God really blesses his people, the church. It's just

  649. how we're going to give the gift. When do we

  650. give the gift? And how generous can we be? La? Okay, Well,

  651. we're just so thankful to the Lord that he never

  652. never shot changes. I prayed you you will experience that

  653. not shot changing, your experience the abundant, overflowing gifts of

  654. God in your lives.

  655. Amen. So I just want to encourage.

  656. Us that it's not just for for our anybody giving.

  657. I just the concept of giving. It is really the

  658. power of your heart and your hands. Because Paul says,

  659. please don't give grudgingly. Please don't give under pressure or

  660. reluctantly like you ask me that attitude will not get

  661. anything pressed down? Sha could together running over. Okay, you're give,

  662. but you're reluctant. You feel false?

  663. Are your idea? I feel false? I'm under pressure. It's

  664. better not to give give because you really believe in it.

  665. You want to for the Lord, you like, you trust

  666. a lot and even you don't have much. You give

  667. it says, when you give, give it because it's pressed down,

  668. shaking together, running over. If we if you never experience that,

  669. you've got to experience it, Amen, because the Lord really

  670. wants to give you that experience of when you generously,

  671. so you will get a generous crop. How whichever way

  672. you experience it.

  673. Amen. And again, there are a lot of things in life.

  674. Money can't buy.

  675. Money can't buy you sleep, Money can't buy you joy,

  676. money can't buy you health.

  677. Right, money can't buy you peace. But Jesus is your

  678. prince of peace. Amen. He's the one who gives you sleep.

  679. That is sweet.

  680. You ask him, he gives you. You know, he's the

  681. one who who's kind to you through people. You can't

  682. buy with money. You can't buy your health. You can

  683. have a lot of money. A lot of people with

  684. a lot of.

  685. Money have no health. So you say, Lord, you are

  686. my health, and I better give you what I have.

  687. And you've given to me so that Lord, I know

  688. you will go further for eternity.

  689. Amen. Praise God.

  690. So the gift, the giver, and the gifted, Halleluijah.

  691. Did the Lord.

  692. Bless you as you take time to if you're participating,

  693. and encourage you to want to participate with all of

  694. us in our aniversary gift. May the Lord give you

  695. really your heart as you seek him. Then you give

  696. to the lot the best that you can give, without

  697. any pressure or any forcing, not commanding command.

  698. You don't do it, no pressure, But it's such a joy.

  699. And this is what I've experienced over the twenty five

  700. twenty six years counting this year. Already the Lord has

  701. provided half the amount, and then the other half came

  702. from another source. The God just blessed, blessed, and I'm saying, Wow, God,

  703. you never failed to help me. Since the time I

  704. decided this was the figure that I want to give.

  705. The Lord has just keep providing, just providing and providing.

  706. So may you experience he's giving to you back to you.

  707. Because God is no debt of any man. Trust him,

  708. experience him in a deeper way.

  709. Amen. Money is very much part of our lives.

  710. You can't live your walk in Christ without talking about money,

  711. because that He also would touch your pocket. All right,

  712. touch my heart touched hardly to touch your pocket because

  713. money is your life.

  714. Really, you work very hard.

  715. It is your life, So give it to the Lord,

  716. and he will always give it back, pressed down, shack

  717. it together, running over it says, you always have something

  718. left over to share with others you might not have.

  719. The verse says you might not have anything, like you

  720. gather a lot but had nothing to left over to waste.

  721. And if you didn't gather too much you are only little,

  722. you would have enough. And it's amazing how you live

  723. life like that. Amen, I don't know how many I

  724. have grandma's or my grandma. My grandma is not it's

  725. not rich. My mom just hated it, my grandma's house.

  726. And I was talking to Jessica Kong, her mom, her

  727. grandma can remember my grandma's house was open to everybody

  728. all the time. My mom had nine brother and sisters,

  729. but grandma opened a house to anyone who would want

  730. to come and have a meal. And the children just

  731. hated it because that was never alone time, ride like peace.

  732. But the house was filled with people. Stomachs were always filled.

  733. And my they went towards when my grandma lived here

  734. in Malaysia, and then she they migrated. My grandfather is British,

  735. so he had to leave Malaysia. He chose to go

  736. to Australia and even in Australia.

  737. Plus he's in armed forces.

  738. All the army boys would come to my grandma's house

  739. and they'll say, you know, Millie, cook us your curry,

  740. you know, and she'll cook them a curry and they

  741. love eating. So the only place to get curried back

  742. in the seventies was go to Mellie Monk's house and

  743. there will be curry. It's all these Ausy Army boys

  744. would have curry in my grandma's house. In a house

  745. it's always open. She never had more, but she never

  746. had less. She just had people who really appreciated her

  747. for loving them, for giving them a meal. I never

  748. got to experience that because you know, I didn't I

  749. don't live in Australia. But but in her when she could,

  750. when she was younger, she always had the doors open

  751. and the little that she had she would just cook,

  752. just come and eat. You know, my mama was just

  753. hated it. She said, everybody is in the house every day.

  754. But I heard that by Jessica comes Grandma as well,

  755. and it's just generosity. It's just it's so hard to find.

  756. Now you ask me open my house every day. I

  757. don't have my pink son because I can cook. I'll

  758. cook the same thing every day, right, But if I

  759. could do it, I think I would love to.

  760. My life's different.

  761. But grandma reminded me that she didn't have a lot,

  762. but she gave. And every time my husband would take

  763. me to see my grandma.

  764. Every year.

  765. We had no money, but he would make a point

  766. that he would take me to Melbourne when he got me,

  767. when he married me. The first year and from the

  768. first year till my grandma passed away in two thousand

  769. and eight, he would fly me every year, We'll go

  770. and visit Grandma again. My grandma's really old and she

  771. don't have much. You know, Aussie lifestyles that children don't really.

  772. Care about you.

  773. My mom's here is difficult, but she would cook me

  774. my favorite whatever, and she would just say, come and

  775. have lunch.

  776. I say I'll take you out to say no, I'm

  777. going to cook for you, and she would cook for me.

  778. It's hard to find that kind of heart and generosity.

  779. In the busy world.

  780. I pray that we can learn from our grandparents. We

  781. can learn from aunties and uncles who.

  782. Who have given so much of themselves. I believe God

  783. will never forget them. Amen.

  784. So let's pray, Amen, and just allow God to use

  785. your gift and use you so that the one who's

  786. going to be blessed will overflow with thanksgiving and you

  787. too will experience this abounding grace.

  788. We stand. Thank you Jesus. Let's look unto Jesus.

  789. He's the author and the finisher of our faith. Amen,

  790. And you want to see your faith grow, Let the

  791. author of your faith work in you.

  792. Amen. Surrender to him, and he does amazingly in our hearts. Amen,

  793. Thank you Jesus. Let's pray Halleluiah.

  794. Thank you Lord, Thank you Jesus, Father, you are the

  795. god of everything.

  796. We sing. We sang it. We said that there will

  797. be less of us and have more of you, And

  798. we're learning this lot.

  799. We're daily learning to surrender our own self and then

  800. lifting our hearts to you that you may have more

  801. of us, Lord, and we like It's like we will

  802. own less of ourselves so that we don't make decisions

  803. because we want it, but we want to live because

  804. you own us. You are the master of our lives.

  805. You are the owner of everything that we have, and

  806. that God, you would make a way so even right now,

  807. in the name of Jesus, Perhaps there are different ones

  808. in this room that you also have a need.

  809. Can I pray with you? I don't know what your

  810. need is, but this is my Father.

  811. He's a God that sees your need, your prayer, your

  812. You know you're desiring for something. You could be at

  813. the crossroads. It could be a health issue, it could

  814. be a family issue. But I'm gonna call my heavenly Father,

  815. who never forgets, he always remembers you. He is the

  816. Father who eyes much across to and fro the earth,

  817. looking at who he can help. I just want to

  818. ask for God's miracle, God's open door for you so

  819. that you would be at the right place, at the

  820. right time, the right favor.

  821. Maybe it's the right doctors.

  822. Maybe it's just just him touching you and filling your life. Amen,

  823. that's you. Why don't you look to the Lord. You

  824. know what that need is. You want to raise your hand,

  825. go ahead. It just takes just us for us to

  826. trust in him. In the name of Jesus, Father, this morning,

  827. even as we look to you, I remembered and just

  828. reminded that Father, you are good, good God, You're good

  829. father to us, and you see your son and daughters,

  830. sons and daughters here who.

  831. Have a heart cry, who have a need in their lives.

  832. And Father, no man can open that door except you.

  833. You are the God who opens doors for us. You

  834. are the Lord who is able to lift us up

  835. out of our Marrie Clay. You are the Lord who

  836. can carry us through our storms and our mountains.

  837. And even when there's no way, you make away for us.

  838. You make away in the desert, and you cause streams

  839. to flow in the desert. And you will feed your

  840. children in the desert. That's what you did for the

  841. children of Israel. More miracles happen in the desert than

  842. after Lord, because you are Father who provides, who.

  843. Generously lavishes on your children. Father, stretch forth.

  844. Your hand and touch the hearts and lives and bodies

  845. of those who need your touch today, who need the

  846. makeaway for me, Lord, for you are the Way, the truth,

  847. and the life. I speak truth to those of you

  848. need truth. And if you need a way, God needs

  849. to make a way. I speak away the way who

  850. lead you into that higher ground for you, and he
