You're listening to a message to go from as church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
So we're gonna go into this just a recap of
-
the previous session before we go to this slide. Ah
-
quiz time. What did we talk about? Throw outwards?
-
You guys?
-
Remember what do you guys hear or true outwards? Throw
-
out just throw out words? Uh?
-
What was open book tesks? Open book tests?
-
You have the booklet in your hands, Joan join, Huh,
-
Leven I heard heaven for a moment, not wrong or
-
so Leven is bringing heaven down right ten percent for
-
the ninety Okay anymore anymore?
-
Anymore? What do we talk about tides? Yeah?
-
Very good?
-
Anymore God's diet?
-
All right?
-
What we saw.
-
We read? Very good? Okay, So just very quick recap
-
and go to I don't know if there's a slightness,
-
she says, yeah, there we go. Living with the power
-
of the tithe. When we talk about tithes a lot.
-
I know there's an argument out there that people say today,
-
do we still need to tithe? Because it's technically an
-
Old Testament thing. If you do the historical research and
-
what tithe is, it's a very old Testament thing. Right,
-
So then there is an argument right amongst religious scholars,
-
you know, theologians, judges, do we still need to do
-
the tithe and all that. Now, I'm not going to
-
go into that, although I'm very big on that. I
-
love going into understanding theology and all that and the
-
history of it.
-
But I just want to say this. I just want
-
to share for myself. I tithe.
-
Everything that I get ten percent goes a lot, without question.
-
That's me.
-
That's me, all right. I think I look quite healthy.
-
I think God has been good. God has been good.
-
Now the principle whether ten percent or not.
-
I think for us we believe ten percent, but it
-
has to be in your conviction. For me, I tie
-
ten percent and above that I give offering as well.
-
But know this, I don't give. I don't give these
-
to people. I don't just I don't see as I
-
give it to the church to do things.
-
I give it to God. That's the bottom line. I
-
give it to God. God.
-
This is my gift to you. This is what I am,
-
not even a gift. Actually, ten percent to me is
-
or is from the Lord. I give it back to
-
the Lord. Right, and God has been good. God has
-
been so good. If you are normal, I don't have
-
a time. I have so many times, so manays of
-
how God has came true for me. Right, And this
-
is what tithe is about. Okay, if you want to
-
listen Bagan, you can. You can go and listen to MPTG.
-
We went quite extensively into this last week. But given
-
to God what belongs to him. That is the heart
-
of tithe.
-
Right, And in tithing, when we saw, we reap.
-
There is a biblical principle, right, It's a principle of God.
-
What you saw, you will reap. Okay, you sold time,
-
you reap time. One of the things I've learned as
-
a leader is this. I always say I don't have time.
-
I got so many things to do, right, But I've
-
learned that when I sow into leaders I reap time.
-
It's a similar concept when you sow into something. When
-
you sow into relationships, you reap the relationship. You reap
-
the fruits of the relationship. Right, So what we saw,
-
we will reap. We also talk about the four levels,
-
God's diet, his deliberated our tithe and eleven. I'm just
-
give us a reminder. God's diet for us, not if,
-
but it's actually true. God's diet for us is to
-
feel the earth and have dominion.
-
Right, the thing of.
-
It, as steps, you have God's diet, and from God's
-
diet you have his daily bread. So God's diet is
-
feel the earth, have dominion. Then how do we do it?
-
The next sept make disciples, that is the daily bread.
-
Then talking about tithe, how do we make disciples? We
-
start with who we have, where we are, what we
-
have right, So whatever God has given to us, we
-
take account of it and we make sure we steward
-
them well. All right, disciples, those that God has already
-
given us. And then from there the leaven is the
-
next stage. Then we send them out them multiplication happens, right,
-
you send the disciples to make disciples. Okay, So that's
-
an easy way to just break it down to remind
-
us again what this is what we talked about the
-
last round. Now today it's actually going to be final
-
thoughts application. Now we've heard so much right condense into
-
the past five weeks, five rounds, five sessions, and now
-
we're entering the sixth session. Now when we talk about
-
this vision, when we talk about a vision of X,
-
the mission of ex Church and how we do things.
-
At the end of the day, it's about alignment because
-
when we work aligned, we will be able to move forward.
-
How many of you have done canoeing before? The two
-
person diament?
-
Have you tried?
-
Have you tried doing it without communicating with the person
-
behind or in front of you? Roll left, roll left
-
and the person roll right and end up you go
-
and hit the wall. Right, I have done canoeing before.
-
There needs to be alignment. With alignment, right comes to assignment.
-
You know what to do and then with assignment. It's
-
also one thing that we talk about is accountable. We
-
talk about what we do and we also have to
-
take note of what food we are burying. All right,
-
we don't just do doo doo doo do and then
-
we don't actually has it been achieving what we want
-
to achieve?
-
Right?
-
So alignment is important and we talk about the vision
-
of acts. We want to be aligned to the vision
-
of acts. We want to do things in the way
-
that we are all aligned. And that talks about you know,
-
it should be this. It has to be the same
-
for everyone across the board. Everyone downloads God's Daily Bread
-
everybody ties centralized in our spirit and lingo across the world,
-
not just Malaysia. We say not just Malaysia, because we
-
are planted across the world, so globally, all of ex church,
-
we all have a mandate from God.
-
We're going to move together, all right.
-
Doing the same thing, because when we don't align and
-
do the same thing, we will find ourselves going in circles,
-
right and end. We realize time is precious and we
-
will have wasted time. Okay, so that's number one. It
-
has to be the same for everyone across the board.
-
So thing for a moment, XVU are we aligned? There
-
can be different preferences. I'm not saying we all have
-
to have the same preference. Some people here like Beniegolocks,
-
are some people here like our old blocks our all right, Right,
-
preference is not an issue, but when we start making
-
preference the main thing, it becomes an issue. We have
-
to talk about principles and not preferences. Right, So principle,
-
are we on the same principle And if you're with
-
having the same principle, let's align and do things together
-
with that principle in mind, all right, So it has
-
to be the same so xbu can we do things together?
-
Can we work together? All right?
-
And number two supporting each other to get the job done.
-
Just now I mentioned about community. It's important. That's why
-
God established church so that no believer will be on
-
their own, because we are men to support each other,
-
all right, So to get the job done. Job of
-
course it's the vision, right, I as a CPC can't
-
do this alone. That's why I got a team of
-
leaders that work together. That we work together, support each
-
other to get the job done, to make sure church
-
is okay. We make sure we pray for the church,
-
because if the leaders don't pray, if the partners don't pray,
-
nobody is praying. So we pray, right, So we come together,
-
we support each other when one of us is dire.
-
And sometimes you know, the leaders do this for me.
-
It's very kind. Sometimes in usual fashion, I lose my
-
voice very fast. Right, Sometimes they'll come just like O
-
come to me. But even I help support you, like, oh,
-
I hope your worship leading this around, you know, or
-
share it? We do so so say hey, maybe you
-
take on worship leading, and maybe I'll take on worship leading,
-
and you take on sharing. And so we support each
-
other in the same way. Xbu Can we support one another?
-
All right? We are not alone.
-
Remember this is the power of community will get us
-
to places. Pasa kind of has this saying, we've got
-
and go good friends. Nothing is impossible. So there needs
-
to be two God and good friends. Good friends in
-
the sense of a community. So let's do this together,
-
all right. So again, the first one is it has
-
to be the same across the board. We have to
-
be aligned. The second one is we gotta support each other.
-
When you see someone struggling, please don't let the person drown.
-
Go ahead, check check in on that person. Hey, are
-
you okay? Do you need help? Can we support you?
-
I'm not just talking about Sunday church, Okay, I'm not
-
just talking about making this happen on a Sunday, but
-
the day today. Is there anything I can pray for you?
-
Is there anything I can help you with? Can I
-
help you babysit your kid? I think you need a break?
-
You know this kind of thing, right, Let's support one another.
-
Number three is this stall new wine into new wine skins.
-
I'm gonna spend a little bit of time here, Okay.
-
The Bible teaches about new wine in new wine skin.
-
And if you.
-
Read up about what this is all about.
-
All wine skin.
-
So wine skin back then was made of animal hide okay,
-
animal skin, leather okay. So the problem we're putting wine
-
back then, if they put new wine okay, freshly made
-
wine into all wine skin, the old wine skin will
-
break and burst. So to have new wine, they need
-
to create new wine skin to stall the new wine.
-
That is historically how it was done with wine, or
-
how they store wine into wine skins. In the same
-
way as the church. If we're asking God God new wine,
-
meaning to say, God, do a new thing. We want revival.
-
There is something we love to pray. The church has
-
been praying this for decades. We want revival, but we
-
don't offer new wine skin. We can never handle revival.
-
We can never handle the new things that God wants
-
to do, meaning to say, I give you an interpretation
-
of this. God wants to do a new thing. God
-
gives the idea many times to the leadership, often to
-
do it. But then we go, I cannot be done.
-
Try before. Other people never do it before.
-
Why we so patterned want to do this, oh wine skin,
-
We're not open to be new wine skins to receive
-
the new wine that God has installed for us.
-
So I want.
-
Challenges, ex church, Let's get ready for radical ideas. And
-
when I say radical ideas, you have to understand the
-
heart of it. We are not doing things for the
-
sake of it. We're not so free. Time is really precious.
-
But sometimes God will ask us to do radical things
-
so that revival will come, so that that one friend
-
of ours will get to know Jesus, so that that
-
one family of us get to experience God's healing. Oh God,
-
you want me to travel back to my hometown to
-
share the gospel with this family. You guys heard this
-
test of mein from me before I had to travel
-
back to Pinang, because God told me, I want you
-
to share the gospel in hockeyn, Oh my word hockey
-
and through a relative that is the hardest words the gospel.
-
Two months later, my cousin passed away. If I didn't,
-
I wasn't radical enough to obey as I got so Kayla,
-
I got timer. My cousin wouldn't have had the opportunity
-
to hear about Jesus. So we got to be ready
-
for radical things that God wants to tell us to.
-
If you're not open to it, God won't give us instead.
-
If you're not open to it, you end with frustration.
-
Why do we have to do this? Why do we
-
have to do that?
-
Again?
-
The heart of all this is ultimately to obey God,
-
to be open to what God wants to do in
-
and true us. Because God is a God of new things,
-
He wants to do new things.
-
He made us into new creation. His mercies are knew
-
every morning. God is a.
-
God that can do things new, make things new. So
-
we gotta be ready. Ex Church, we got to think
-
outside the box. When God gives us ideas, let's obey,
-
let's not reject.
-
All right.
-
Remember, it's not about us. It's not about what we
-
are comfortable with. It's not about what we are used to.
-
But it's about bringing God glory. He issus when does
-
new things and we are open, we are ready to
-
just flow with him. Amazing things take place, people get healed,
-
miracles take.
-
Place, things move. God wants to partner with us.
-
The Church is there, the body of Christ, to partner
-
with the hate, to bring the Gospel, the good News
-
to people around us, to bring signs and wonders of
-
the Living God. To those around us. Are we doing
-
okay so far? So let's never say it's never been
-
done before or ah, these only work in certain cultures
-
because there are sometimes the type of thing we will say, Ah,
-
this won't work in Asian country. Ana, how you want
-
me to go and pray for someone? Ah, this is
-
a Western thing. Asian with hasha shan, you do your thing,
-
I do my thing. We keep quiet in the office.
-
We don't talk about religious stuff. But if God is
-
asking us to do it, let's be open to it.
-
Be ready for radical things. Planting xbu is ready, girlfriends,
-
the leadership and God himself trusted a grow of inexperienced people,
-
no Bible school degree, no experience to plan. And if
-
we won't open to it, we won't have this. We
-
won't have people walking through our doors and getting safe
-
and this weekend getting baptized. Remember this, friends, We've got
-
to be new wine skins for the Lord to work.
-
So let's be radical and believe. Let's be history makers.
-
If it has never been done before. Good.
-
That means we will become the reference point.
-
What grow small church, planting supposed to grow big ma
-
other people doing that? Good we will be the reference
-
point for others. Again, it's not about bringing glory to us.
-
Remember that it's bringing glory to God. And we got
-
to also learn. There's something that I have to remind us.
-
We got to learn when we plan things forward, don't
-
plan looking back. Whatever has happened in the past, it
-
can be something that we take note off, but don't
-
just rely on things of the past to plan forward.
-
We got to learn to dream again. Ex Church, it's
-
a church of dreams.
-
I'm telling you there's a lot of things that we
-
do is really starting from dreaming. Dream is Freema right,
-
dream USA dreamler dream then we talk details right, so
-
be open to things like this dream. We have a
-
lot of things that will birth our dreams. Our Souceide
-
Prevention Society that is changing lives in schools, it.
-
Was birth out of a dream, right.
-
Our our Temy Society which is for you know, tutor
-
of special needs families or special needs was birth out
-
of a dream. And today's blessing families they are struggling
-
with children with special needs. So let's not forget the dream.
-
Ex Church, Let's dream, Let's dream God's dreams, and let's
-
be new wine Skins Philippines three twelve to sixteen says
-
this right, basically, this whole thing. I'm just going to
-
focus on one part of it that says this, brethren,
-
I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one
-
thing I do forgetting those things which are behind and
-
reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press
-
toward the goal for the price of the upward call
-
of God in Christ Jesus. That's why we got to
-
move forward, think forward, think ahead, to look back in
-
the past. Don't dwell in past glories last time. You know,
-
I used to be able to do this. Now it's like, oh,
-
don't the glory days are no, the glory days are ahead.
-
Better are the latter days than the former.
-
You got to believe that because God is a God
-
of new things, he wants to continue to bring us further, deeper,
-
higher than's the God that we serve. That's why we
-
are never called Christians Christians. We are never called to
-
be in comfort. If there's any gospel being taught to
-
you that Christians are meant to be comfortable, that's a lie.
-
Christians are called to have faith, and faith is not comfortable.
-
Friends.
-
But we all here know those who have walked by
-
faith and not by sight.
-
We have all.
-
Ripped the benefits of faith. You've seen God move, and
-
you've not only seen God move, you've seen.
-
God and you've grown deeper with the Lord. Amen.
-
And when we talk about tithe, is this a lot
-
of things we share in acts? You may say, why
-
so step by step so proper, they got a manual
-
to follow. What we are sharing with you is what
-
we call from the Lord, not ways of men, but
-
principles of heaven. And we are teaching you that ten
-
percent the tithe again, the principle of the tithe this
-
do this ten percent, well, the ninety percent will follow,
-
all right. So we're not telling you how to run
-
your business, how to run your things and things that
-
you want to do. We're telling you how to run
-
God's business. Right, That is why we are sharing what
-
we are sharing. We're talking about how we should, in
-
the next light, how we should run God's business. It's
-
a ten percent we need to administer. The ninety percent
-
is yours again, the principle of the time. What has
-
God called us to do with the ten percent? Le's
-
honor that? All right? How it's got us ex church
-
to run. Let's work together and run with the Lord,
-
the tithe, the ten percent God's business. Now, as we
-
wrap up, we also want to say this right hints
-
for success. We can be successful with fulfilling the vision.
-
The vision is there so that we will one day
-
fulfill it. Right, there's the goal?
-
Right?
-
If not, why have a vision? Why have mission? Vision
-
is there so that we can fulfill it? But to
-
be successful to fulfill that vision. It comes down to this,
-
as simple as Matthew twenty eight, make disciples, Make disciples.
-
And I'm going to say this to the leaders. You are leaders,
-
be both to say follow me. Leaders, when you are
-
discipling your disciples, be both to say follow me as
-
I follow Christ. It's a very scary thing to say.
-
I know it's a big responsibility. What if I give
-
the wrong advice? But remember this, you are reflecting God. Leaders,
-
You're reflecting God. And many times people cannot see God,
-
but they can see you, so they follow you first
-
and you lead them to God. So remember this, my
-
dear leaders, when you make disciples, you got to be
-
bold to say follow me, and let your track record
-
and testimony speak for itself. Because your disciples, you see
-
some things in your life that go like, Wow, you
-
did this discipline and this practice and God came true
-
for you. Can you teach me? Then you say, okay,
-
follow me. You want to experience God in this manner,
-
follow me. Follow me and to go and share gospel.
-
Follow me, to go and pray for someone, follow me
-
for hospital visitations. Right, follow me. That's one thing that
-
will lead us to success in the vision. And another
-
thing is to do it small. We are a church
-
that does things small homes, small groups. Don't think about
-
reaching a thousand people, don't think about just let's organize
-
a rally. Oh a lot work, you know, organize a rally.
-
If we wait and they organized, rarey, I think we
-
are wasting a lot of time. But think about that
-
one person that you can talk to, That one person
-
in the office that you can pray for all or
-
pray with. There one person that you can go and say, hey,
-
you're free for lunch, you have any lunch appointments, Let's
-
go have lunch and and then catch up with a person.
-
How are you doing? How things back home? How can
-
I pray for you? Think about that one and let's
-
not think so far so far outside here, because We
-
are called to love one another because Jesus says this,
-
people will know that you are my disciples through this,
-
that you love one another. That's in the Bible. So
-
we got to love one another, all right. So just
-
stretch a little bit out of your comfort zone. Instead
-
of just caring for the person one seat away from you,
-
think of the person treats away from you.
-
Right.
-
We are creatures of comfort. We will sit with people
-
we are comfortable with. I know, I know, But think
-
about people that you don't talk too often. Can you
-
go up to that person and care for that person too.
-
It's not about reaching the masters, but reaching the one
-
or the two that's around us.
-
In x we also talk about this.
-
We have this statement where we say, plan a church
-
on every street and in every school. Wow, sounds crazier,
-
sounds crazy. You mean we got the rent holes everywhere
-
we go. But hey, friends, in ex church, we believe
-
every individual here, every believer of Jesus is the church.
-
People may not step into a physical church, but you
-
are the church to them. They see Jesus through you,
-
They see God through you, how you live your life,
-
your principles, and here's the crazy bad friends. They see
-
the crazy things that God does for you, then they'll
-
go like w So one of my really good friends, Sharon,
-
I had dinner with him recently.
-
We had dinner with him.
-
He's gonna be our photographer for a pre wedding shirt
-
and we were talking about things, and Sharon is saying
-
to him, because we that friendly and I we are unimates,
-
really good friends. Right, he's not a believer. And Sharon asked,
-
can you tell me things about Stephen? Back then tell
-
me things about Stephen. How you with you know, yeah,
-
my impersonation of Sharon tell me Steve. No, no, she
-
doesn't talk like this. And then that friend of mine
-
started sharing my testimonies to her. She already knew that
-
because I shared with her before. You know, wha I
-
always remember and this one, you guys said, this says
-
testimony that time we will do shoot above access to
-
small at the rooftop. This guy go and pray and
-
the weather change aw and he shared that testimony to sharing.
-
Sharon already knew. Today he say this story I will
-
always carry with me. I will always carry with me
-
everywhere I go. Today he's still talking about that testimony
-
to people around him, and he's not even a believer,
-
but he said this.
-
Is He said, well this one.
-
Don't play play this one, Steven Scott, don't play play.
-
Be the church where you're at. That's how people will
-
encounter God. Inviting people to church is great, but now
-
this is a threshold. It's not easy for people to
-
step into church because again you have to understand, is
-
another religion, another belief system. It's a higher threashold right,
-
and don't blame it on people when they don't want
-
to come because in the same manner it'll be tough
-
for us or so right. Think about it. But if
-
God is real in your life, show that through your
-
daily life.
-
Be the church.
-
That's why in Acts we say we want to plan
-
the church on every corner, on every street, and in
-
every school, because we believe in planting disciples. You plan
-
a disciple wherever the person goes. Think God will moved.
-
Your plan a disciple wherever it could be the most
-
secluded ulu or places.
-
God We'll moved.
-
We believe that by planting disciples, we plan the church,
-
and planting a disciple produces a leader. If you think
-
I'm always like this, I'm able to lead the church.
-
I've always been like, this is not true. I was
-
planted as a disciple for xbu and true that God
-
grew me to become a leader, all right, to be
-
able to lead. So when we plant disciples, we produce leaders,
-
leaders of quality. Leaders, not just leaders in the church,
-
but leaders that can make a difference wherever they are.
-
All right, met you nineteen twenty six, say say, but
-
Jesus look at them and say to them with man,
-
this is impossible, but we've got all things are possible.
-
Met you for.
-
Nineteen Then he said to them, follow me and I
-
will make you fishes of men. So let's not worry, fans.
-
God will enabled us wherever we are. We just got
-
to be available. God, here, I am the new wine skin.
-
What do you want to do with me today? I
-
want you to go and share the gospel. Ah, God
-
cannot lie. The person won't listen to me or lae.
-
Remember new wines can be open. God is the God
-
of the impossible.
-
Right, Hey, go.
-
And uh this this, Uh this this restaurant that you
-
always go to for lunch, Go and get to know
-
the restaurant owner. A God, it's only my one hour
-
lunch break. Like God, I want to be by myself, Noah,
-
oh by God, and see how God will move.
-
God planted you there for a reason.
-
My friends. You are a disciple of Jesus. God planted
-
you there. You are the Church. So make the difference there.
-
And of course, when we go, it is important for
-
us to know that we're not going on our own.
-
We're going with the power of God. And this is
-
the part many of us forget. Many times you think
-
God asks us to do this. I do a lot
-
of me, my strength, my capability to talk well, me
-
being able to not offend people when.
-
I say, you know, Christian things right.
-
Sometimes we even struggle with saying grace Gray in front
-
of colleagues, say grace. You know, sometimes we just pretend
-
we die our shoelacer thank you love for food and
-
just then me pray amen. Right, how many of us
-
were there to go a sorry? Let me say grace
-
for a moment, prailla. Let me pause you for a moment, Braila.
-
Right.
-
Sometimes it's something as simple as this is difficult. I
-
understand because I was there, right, But think about this.
-
You can start doing it and know this again, God
-
enables you. You're not doing this by your own strength.
-
You just have to step up by faith. Just start first.
-
Then God will supply what you need. And we talk
-
about fishers of men, right, fishers of men means fishing, right,
-
so we gotta learn this. For those of you who
-
do fishing, I've never fished. I've done prawning before. Hey,
-
some of you. We went prowning before one hour, fly
-
by really fast and we only catch one. Sometimes that's
-
what what they ring it.
-
Oh my gosh, but it's fine.
-
We also had to put a bait, the bait with
-
a worm, to cut a worm, put on a live wormer,
-
put in the day, and then go and prawl.
-
Right.
-
So, in the same way, God doesn't send us out
-
to be fishers of men to when we say fishers
-
of men, basically to share the gospel, to bring God's
-
live to people. God needn't just send us out without bait, right.
-
God sends us out with a bait. And that bait,
-
my friends, is the power of God, the supernatural, the anointing,
-
the signs and wonders and miracles, the healings and the deliverance,
-
the praying for the weather and the weather change. God
-
sends us out to be fisius of men. To be
-
sought and light, not without power, not with our own power,
-
but with God's power. And we sometimes forget this that
-
we can call upon God's power. God, you gotta help
-
me this God, the person is not well.
-
You told me to just buy faith. Pray God, you
-
gotta do something, man and God.
-
Trust in your power God, and then declare God in
-
the name of Jesus, I pray for healing. That this
-
person's sickness is healed in Jesus name.
-
Amen. You gotta be.
-
Bold to do it. And remember you have God's power.
-
And that is debate on the fishing rod the Bibles.
-
You know, the Lord's Prayer says this, right, Matthew six
-
is thirteen. For yours is a kingdom, the power and
-
the glory forever and ever.
-
Amen.
-
The kingdom comes first. We got to remember it is
-
God's kingdom that we want, right, that this is God's kingdom.
-
We want to enlarge to those around us, to show
-
to the world around us. Right, God's kingdom, God's ways
-
of doing things, God's principle, and we faced kingdom. God
-
gives us that power, his power to be able to
-
exhibit His kingdom. And when we do that, God receives
-
the glory. God receives the glory.
-
Amen.
-
But then there is one issue, my friends. Yeah, we
-
get God's power. We know the trail, share gospel, make disciples.
-
We've heard this for years now. The issue lies in
-
this in you and I confidence. We can know in
-
our head God heals, God saves, God delivers, God helps.
-
But the issue is us, our confidence sometimes in two things,
-
one in God, sure not, God will do this, or
-
sometimes in us sure not, whether I pray my prayer
-
powerful enough or not, where I say the right words
-
or the wrong words. Confidence has always been the issue,
-
right But I want to ask you this question. You
-
just watched the testimony. How do you feel when you
-
hear about someone getting healed? Oh?
-
God did this? How do you feel when you suddenly
-
hear someone I tell you are well.
-
I pray for God to give me a break through
-
my finances, and suddenly this happened and I had a breakthrough.
-
How do you feel confident? Right?
-
You? Suddenly again the reality of God is made real
-
to you. That is confidence. But I think it's a
-
little bit unsustainable if every time we need to hear
-
a testimony before we do something. I think there's the
-
wrong feel to rely on not sustainable this feel. I
-
think we need to rely on favor. And sometimes here's
-
the thing. Also in our daily life, right, we talk
-
about confidence. We feel like we need to. If you're
-
trying something new, right, what will bring us confidence is
-
also results? Right? Hey, this works? Are I try for
-
experiment a bit? For all these works, we can do more, right,
-
and I want to encourage us with this right. God
-
is a god of results or so, God is not
-
the type of are you have fun doing it? I'm
-
not going to give you results. Aha, you're on your own.
-
I think God really is excited and ready to give
-
us results.
-
But we just got it by faith before we see
-
the results.
-
And trust that as you do, as you carry out
-
carry out again the DNA, the vision of ex Church
-
in your own daily life, as you carry that out,
-
believe that there will be results, and I think God
-
will given. I'm God confident. God will give you encouragementual results, right,
-
and with the results comes confidence. In the next part,
-
there's quite a few words you can you can look
-
at it. I won't dive too deep, but I'll just
-
talk about the confidence comes with results. So there is
-
convision comes with revival. Clarity comes with revelation, Courage comes
-
with resolves, conquer comes with reliant celebration come. But I
-
want to talk about confidence comes with results. That's something
-
that we want to talk about. You see, results only
-
happen after we saw. If you wait and be scared
-
and just keep asking sure, I'm not sure, I'm not
-
sure or not, there won't be results. Simple math, right
-
is on equation. Something needs to happen to generate results. Right,
-
So then the key is here, take action now the
-
way if God has already put into your heart to
-
go and share the gospel to your family. Scary, I know, scary, scary,
-
but du la, I.
-
Didn't trust God for the results that.
-
Oh, God is asking me to go and reconcile with
-
this person, this person that broke my heart, this person
-
that did wrong to me.
-
Just do it again.
-
It's not about you. God will supply you what you
-
need and then there will be results. Can we do
-
that more? Can we be a church of faith? I
-
find that a very funny statement. A church of faith?
-
A church should be a place of faith. Right. If
-
we are called a church, that means it should be
-
the place of faith.
-
Right. So Let's have faith.
-
Let's have faith to carry out what God has mandated
-
has asked us to do. Let's obey and God will
-
give us the results. And this one also in the
-
next one is for the leaders. Right confident leaders. We'll
-
speak to leaders as well. Right conviction leads to clarity.
-
Clarity leads to confidence, Confidently to courage, courrec leads to conquering.
-
Conquering leads to celebration. Many times for the leaders here
-
the tough part is courage. Maybe we feel that we're inadequate,
-
Maybe we feel that we cannot, we feel that we
-
cannot really speak into this person's life. I want to
-
tell us this, have courage, take courage, because the Bible
-
teaches us first John five fourteen. Now this is the
-
confidence that we have in him that if we ask
-
anything according to his will, he hears us. So your
-
confidence and your courage does not come from how good
-
you are. It comes from the Lord, how great he is.
-
We don't have confidence because of lack of results, It's true.
-
But then for results, you've got to do something, then
-
the confidence will come. If not, it's just you're going
-
to just stay in that pull off. Not being confident
-
because there are no results, but you got to do something,
-
all right, so the results will come as you begin
-
to So these are things that that some statements for
-
us to reflect on. Pre Believers struggle with conviction. Believers
-
struggle with confidence, leaders struggle with courage. But Joshu one
-
nine teachers us be strong and very courageous. So we
-
struggle with this, but we don't have to stay in
-
the struggle. We can take action to overcome. Right, and
-
know this, we are not alone. Thank God that he
-
has given us Holy Spirit. Okay, in our daily lives.
-
Whatever we do, know this, you are not alone again.
-
And God did not send you out on your own.
-
God has given you the Holy Spirit to be with you,
-
to help you, to support you. Zachariah for six says this,
-
I'm gonna zoom zoom a little bit here, so do
-
follow along. Zachariah for six. Not by mind nor by power,
-
but by my spirit, says the Lord of Host, meaning
-
to say, it's not by your own mind, not by
-
your own wisdom, not by your own power, but by
-
the power the Holy Spirit, that you'll be able to
-
carry out all these things. So don't rely on your
-
own strength. Don't go like I can't do this. Don't
-
go like I've never done this before. But hey, say God,
-
I've never done this before, but you are with me.
-
I trust you.
-
Oh God, I'm weak in this area. I have some
-
leaders who tell me stive, I cannot chair one. I
-
cannot chair one. I cannot I really cannot do they
-
they are sharing so well, don't you agree? Everyone who
-
chairs again, not by my not by your own talents,
-
but by the spirit of the Lord. And you've seen
-
it happen in our church, with the leaders taking the lead,
-
paving the path. You think leaders are not scared. He
-
is scared also, but they just choose to have favor. Tryer, try,
-
I feel never mind, I try again. Holy Spirit is
-
with us. Look eleven eleven to thirteen. Can look at
-
the last part. If you, then, being evil, know how
-
to give good gifts to your children. This is basically
-
what Jesus was saying about earthly fathers. How much more
-
will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those
-
who ask him? Now, Jesus is not saying that earthly
-
fathers are all evil, Okay, context is important. He's saying
-
that even as humans, we sin, we mess up. If
-
our children ask us of something. We will give good things,
-
we won't give bad things. Right, so, eve, earthly fathers
-
are already like that. What more Heavenly Father, our heavenly Father
-
who loves us, he will give.
-
Us so much more.
-
And you know what, it's not just so much more
-
that he said. Jesus said, how much more will your
-
heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?
-
Now?
-
Could it be we talk about daily bread, right, we
-
talk about the daily bread to do things that God
-
is asking us to do. Could it be that this
-
daily berate is actually need the Holy Spirit, that we
-
have the Holy Spirit every day to carry out what
-
we are called to do.
-
Look for eighteen to nineteen.
-
This is Jesus proclaiming from the Book of Isaiah coming
-
to pass right. The spirit of the Law is upon
-
me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel
-
to the poor. He has sent me to heal the
-
broken hearted, to proclaim liberty the captives, and recovery of
-
side to the blind, to set at liberty those who
-
are oppressed, to proclaim acceptable year of the Lord. Guys,
-
if this can be a court that you stick on
-
the wall, this is it.
-
I pray.
-
This is how we live our faith, that we will
-
go out to preach the gospel to the poor, to
-
heal the broken hearted, to be there for people in need,
-
to claim liberty to the captives, to set people free
-
through the recovery of side, to the blind, to pray
-
for healing for people. Can this be our lifestyle, to
-
set a liberty those who are oppressed? Can we do that?
-
Can we start being nicer people? Can we start to
-
care more for our surroundings?
-
Start there?
-
Because this is what we're called to do. And again
-
we are called to do this with the help of
-
the Holy Spirit. By our strength, we cannot really cannot
-
too many needs, but by the power the Holy Spirit,
-
we can. Let's rely on our daily bread the Holy
-
Spirit x two sixteen to twenty one. And it shall
-
come to pass in the last day, says God, that
-
I will pour out of my spirit on all flesh.
-
Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall
-
see visions, your old men, your dream dreams. I will
-
pause here. It shall come to pass in the last
-
days that I will pour out off my spirit on
-
all flesh. The Holy Spirit. This is happening. The Holy
-
Spirit has been poured out upon all of us believers
-
born again Christians.
-
That means these will happen.
-
Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, Your young man shall
-
see visions, your old man shall dream dreams.
-
We are living in times like this? Are we doing that?
-
I will show wonders in heaven, a birth and signs
-
in the earth beneath that whoever calls the name of
-
the Lord shall be saved. This is what we ought
-
to be doing. Are we dreaming dreams of the Lord?
-
Are we prophesying? Are we seeing visions? Some of us
-
here as give with dreams?
-
I know this. Do we hold onto that? Do we
-
remember that? Do we remember this what God has given us?
-
Are we living out these gifts for the benefit of others?
-
Some of us catch visions. All these things are not flucal.
-
This is the Holy Spirit.
-
There are many times, even as myself as CPC, because
-
of my role, God will give me insights on the
-
things that I didn't know. One I was like, it
-
comes to me in the weirdest ways, and I will
-
find out not to scare you, not to scare you.
-
This just God equipping me to know how to lead
-
the church, to how to help different individuals with their
-
struggles right how to navigate different ones. God will give
-
in And if I don't do anything with that insight,
-
I'm being irresponsible to you, guys, to the Body of Christ.
-
That God has placed me in past the title aside
-
CPC leader title, aside me being in this community. I
-
have a responsibility with whatever gifts that God has given
-
me to use those gifts to edify you, to support you,
-
to help you, to pray for healing for you guys,
-
to prophesy over your lives. That's the gift that God
-
has given me to teach. There's one of the highest.
-
There's my gift in the fiveful ministry, teaching to teach.
-
So are we doing this? My friends?
-
Some of you here wake up having dreams of certain individuals.
-
I pray you'll do something about it. I pray you'll pray.
-
I pray you'll call up that person. Hey, I dream
-
about this. I want you to know I'm praying for
-
you and some of you have God given you dreams
-
and visions about me, and you have done that, which
-
I'm so thankful. Thank you for doing that, because I
-
feel like, Wow, I feel supported.
-
Okay, I better pray.
-
Since another person dream about days about me, I better
-
start praying.
-
Can we do that?
-
We are living in such times where there needs to
-
be signs and wonderus friends, not from ourselves, but by
-
the power of the Holy Spirit. Are we practicing our faith?
-
God has given us the Holy Spirit. It's not just
-
for our own benefit, you know. For the Christian life
-
is as such. God has given us gifts, not for
-
ourselves and not for our gain. Is always for other people.
-
If God has blessed you with finances, harley lujah, but
-
know this, God has not blessed you with finances just
-
for your own enjoyment.
-
Is so that you can help someone in need if
-
we ever give off. I don't know.
-
Solving problems don't just solve your own problems. Are help
-
people solve their problems as well. Be a solution, because
-
that is what God has given the whole Holy Spirit
-
to us for, so that we can help those around us.
-
So that we can do this, so that it can
-
bring science and wonders to the world, so that the
-
last part that whoever calls the name of the Lord,
-
they see this, then they'll think of the Lord and
-
they'll call upon the name of the Lord, and when
-
they call upon the name of the Lord, what happens,
-
they shall be saved.
-
I'm gonna come to an end now.
-
I focus a little bit about prophesy because I think
-
there is something that we kind of lost a little
-
bit in the reacent two years. In XBO, we used
-
to be really good in this. We are very good
-
at prophesying.
-
The Word of God.
-
I want to encourage us to start doing that again,
-
right because you see, when the Holy Spirit comes upon us,
-
the first thing that changes in us is.
-
Out lingo the way we speak.
-
Do you realize when God comes upon you, you don't say
-
stuff like die Ella, Saylor, hel Goddela. Your lingal changes
-
to this happens is okay, God has a plan. All
-
bad things happened. It's all in God's plan. That means
-
a testimony is at hand.
-
This happened.
-
I'm going to prophesy and say that the weapons of
-
the enemy shall not prosper. When the Spirit of God
-
comes upon you, the first thing that changes is your lingo.
-
You see First Corinthians chapter fourteen, twenty four to twenty.
-
Five says this. But if all prophesy, I want you
-
to highlight that.
-
But if all prophesy and an unbeliever or an uninformed
-
person comes in, he is convinced by all. He is
-
convicted by all, and thus the secrets of his hearts
-
are revealed, and so falling down on his face, he
-
will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
-
I pray this is our community, that when they see us,
-
they see how we prophesy, they see the convictions of
-
our hearts, they see how we live our life. They
-
can't help but notice God is here. But you see
-
it takes all see the word. But if all prophesy
-
he and then an informal unbeliever that comes in, he
-
is convinced not by God himself, but by all that
-
are here. He's convicted not by his own self, but
-
by what he sees is happening around him. So, as
-
a community, I pray we will be that community of
-
faith that we walk the doglar. We don't just say
-
we are Christian, but then the words that come out
-
of our mouth very flower ear right. I pray that
-
we will live out faith where when we are faced
-
with impossible odds, we will overcome by the power of God,
-
and people cannot deny that there is a God in
-
your life. The greatest tragedy is I believe living as
-
a Christian but never really living with Christ. To the
-
end of life, we realize actually our faith was really
-
just superficial. We've never really encountered the power of God.
-
I pray that there will not be the story for us,
-
all of us week to week, day to day, month
-
to month, year to year. We'll get to prophesy and
-
say of God's goodness and testify of His works in
-
our lives. I'm still I'm not I'm telling this, I
-
myself am trying to walk the talk as well. I'm
-
trying not to talk about testimonies of the past. I'm
-
trying to have also live up by faith so that
-
I have testimonies today. Every time prayer service, I got
-
a new testimony to share. Oh no, I say this
-
cornity or the chapters say past even you say right
-
every prayer service. But most of the times I share,
-
I believe most of the times I do share. But
-
can we can this be for us? Can I encourage
-
your church that we have fresh testimonies. Not only will
-
you get to experience God for yourself, but people get
-
to experience God through you.
-
Isn't that beautiful coming to a close?
-
It must Eight eleven says that I will send a
-
famine on the land. And this is what we believe, friends,
-
and this is a prophetic word that is given to
-
ex church. There will come a time where the word
-
of God will be scars. We don't know how that
-
will look like I personally believed in d d will
-
be a pivotal year for the Christian faith. We don't
-
know how it's going to be like. There could be
-
persecution in other countries. He has shown Bibles are being
-
altered or confiscated, and people have been punished by being
-
jailed or even by death for owning a Bible. But
-
there will be a time there we are famine in
-
the land, famine of God's word. But let's pray that
-
it will always be found in next church, that when
-
people see you or see me, we will half the
-
world of God. That means we've got to start depositing
-
God's word in our hearts and in our lives every day.
-
Let's read the Word. You guys know this, I always
-
say this. Please read the Bible every day.
-
Deposit, deposit, deposit, because one day when we don't have
-
Let's say we don't. We are not able to have
-
a physical Bible or an e Bible. That means it's
-
all in us right, we are living it now, the
-
Word of God in our lives. And I end with this,
-
now that we see, now that we see the vision
-
of God, now that I hope we can start seeing
-
what God is trying to do through our church. We've
-
got to start speaking. We've got to start prophesying. We're
-
got to start declaring God's goodness. We've got to start proclaiming.
-
That means a thing about this In every conversation that
-
you have. Can you do a faith proclamation that means
-
when people tell you the hardship, let's not start with others.
-
When you're yourself going to a hardship. Can you start
-
proclaiming and prophesying over your own self first, that I
-
shall not be held down by my situation. I shall
-
not have my soul downcast just because I'm going to
-
Because God is good, and I proclaim his goodness over
-
my life and over my situation, I will not stay
-
where I'm at.
-
I shall overcome.
-
Can we start with us, and then when someone comes
-
to you, I just got this diagnosis from the doctor.
-
I don't know what to do. It's hopeless. Then what
-
do we do? Wedeclare hope. We say, in the name
-
of Jesus, you are healed, trusting Jesus, and you will
-
be well. Your soul will be well. There will be peace.
-
Now that we see, let's speak. Let's stop just talking,
-
but let's start prophesying.
-
Enough with empty words.
-
But let's declare truth, God's worth, God's word with love.
-
I close with this five peace, I know, I say
-
I close with three times Ready, five peace, purpose, power, plan,
-
prosper pass on prophesia or purpose, pray the Lord's prayer daily.
-
Can we do that? Because in the Lost Prayer it
-
says this, that your will be done here as it
-
is in heaven. Prophesie or purpose. God, you have asked
-
me to do this. I prophesy that you will come
-
to pass. Lord. You ask me to share the godspel
-
with this person. I pray, I prophesy you will come
-
to pass and the person will come to know you.
-
Can we start doing that in your morning prayers when
-
you pray when you wake up in the morning, Can
-
you pray this prayer? Lord? Wherever I'm at today in
-
the office or wherever go, Help me be the salt
-
and light that I may bring the Gospel to those
-
who have not heard. Bring the good news, Bring your
-
light to those that have not seen your life.
-
Power.
-
Speak that God is with me. Start saying that to.
-
Yourself, I'm not alone.
-
If you ever feel alone, know that the truth is
-
you are not because Holy Spirit is with you. Start
-
saying that God is with me. All things are possible
-
in Christ Jesus. Start prophesying that plan, the third pe
-
God's dire, the deliberate, the tide eleven. We talked about this,
-
so I won't dive too deep into this. Know the
-
plan all the purpose, then you know.
-
What to do.
-
Prosper propheside God's blessing. We are not prosperity Gospel are.
-
But we've got to prophesy that God we will provide
-
because that is his character. He never short changes his children.
-
You do it for the Lord.
-
You think God is gonna short change you?
-
Past homes we talk about giving, right, do you think
-
God will short change you if we give to him.
-
I'm saying this, are not giving to the church, not
-
giving to people. Let your conviction be I give it
-
unto the Lord and you think we talk about any
-
of us regive. Let's not tit out with God. Lad calculative.
-
I don't think God was calculative with us. If God
-
asked us to do something, know also this, and this
-
is the truth I've come to recognize. Many times we
-
think we're doing God is asking us to do it
-
for him. He's asking us to do it for ourselves.
-
It's for our own good. It's just that many times
-
you don't see it. So professy God's blessings. God, you
-
will provide. I will have a breakthrough. I will never
-
be in lack because I follow my good shepherd, who
-
leads me by steel waters that I may drink, my
-
green pastures that I may eat. That I will always
-
before praise God, even in times of suffering, and watch
-
Him come true for you pass on, keep seeing it,
-
keep saying it, keep doing it, keep doing it, and
-
then the rest the people around you will start doing it.
-
Can you imagine all of XBU we start doing this?
-
What an admisphere of faith? What wouldn't God do?
-
Amen?
-
Seeing is the key understanding that this is what God
-
wants to do in our church, and true us speaking
-
and prophesying is the door. Doing is the entry into
-
the new thing God wants to do, the new wine
-
to the new wine skin.
-
Friends.
-
One easy takeaway don't overthink, just do. Just leave out
-
your faith God ask you to do it. Do it.
-
If God has put something in your heart, pursue it.
-
Don't sweep it under the cupboard. Don't ignore that it's
-
not there. You won't see God in your life. Then
-
you got to leave it out what God has asked
-
you to do.
-
Amen.
-
If that we've come to the end of the unpacking
-
the vision of X church, The heart of the Vision
-
of X if I can bail it down, is to
-
do things Number one, to see every single believer prosper.
-
And when we talk about prospers, I'm not talking about
-
material wealth. I'm talking about living out God's purpose for
-
you to the very fullness. There's a vision that the
-
heart of the vision number one, okay, number two, it's
-
not for you to keep the As you live out
-
the purposes of God.
-
In your life, you are men to pass it on.
-
It's man for the world to see that there is
-
a God that loves them. That is the heart of
-
the vision of X. And I pray x Banaoa Tama.
-
We will carry out this vision together. You'll fight this
-
fight together. We'll run this race together. Don't struggle alone.
-
You're finding your heart to be a light in your office,
-
tell your homes. Can you please pray for me that
-
God will strengthen me in the midst of all this
-
temptation and the wrestle for my conviction. Let's do it together.
-
If you need someone to talk to, can you come
-
visit me? Uh oh, we go Macan for dinner. I
-
just need someone to talk to and let's end if
-
I wanted to and prophesy, prophesy.
-
Amen.
