  1. You're listening to a message to go from AX Church.

  2. We cook this message will light up your tea.

  3. In session four, which is the plan. But before I

  4. go any further, let us recap the vision of X Church. Okay,

  5. and this is the big vision. Can anybody tell me

  6. what's the big vision? Say loud, come on, have a

  7. cook two fourteen. Okay, have a cook two fourteen. Maybe

  8. can put the verse up. Let's all say this verse together.

  9. Here we go one, two, and three. For the earth

  10. will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of

  11. the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Amen. So

  12. this is the big vision of ex Church. Have a

  13. cook two fourteen. If you forgot everything or anything we

  14. said throughout the entire four sessions, make sure you at

  15. least remember this. Okay, this is the big vision of

  16. ex Church. For the earth will be filled with the

  17. knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters

  18. cover the sea. That is what we want to see,

  19. and that is what God has thought, that he is.

  20. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord will feel

  21. the earth. Every corner of the earth needs to hear

  22. about the Knowledge of the Glory of the Lord or

  23. the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen. And another verse that

  24. we also be kept in our homes is found in

  25. Genesis chapter one, verse twenty eight. Okay, I'm going to

  26. read it to you. It says, then God bless them,

  27. and God said to them, be fruitful and multiply feel

  28. the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish

  29. of the sea, over the birds of the earth, and

  30. over every living thing that moves on the earth. Okay.

  31. So that is Genesis chapter one, verse twenty eight. And

  32. of course we are saying that not just be food

  33. for multiply in terms of physically with babies, but by

  34. making disciples. Amen, by making disciples. But the keybord is

  35. is to fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion.

  36. Have dominion. And if you remember that we mentioned about dominion,

  37. it speaks about influence, okay, is to have influence over

  38. the earth. And in our case, is in Malaysia, okay.

  39. Or if I can break it down even smaller, is

  40. in some Mania. Okay, It could be in some Manya.

  41. It could be in your marketplace, it could be in

  42. your house, your family. You know, your school, your campus

  43. is your classroom. Okay. If you break it down even

  44. smaller and smaller and smaller. Okay, all right, So I'm

  45. gonna now recap the part three okay, Part three which

  46. is last week, which was done by Passor Ronson. And

  47. so now we are preparing for the for the next

  48. twenty years. Okay. How are we preparing for the next

  49. twenty years? And he gave you five seas? You remember that. Okay.

  50. If you open your book right now, you will see

  51. the five seas there. Okay. Can you tell me what

  52. the five seas? Conviction, condition, cooperation, community, and college. Okay.

  53. So these are the five seas in which we need

  54. to prepare for the next twenty years. Okay. So the

  55. reason why we say twenty years because the first twenty

  56. years was year two thousand to year twenty twenty, whereby

  57. we were a Joseph Church. You remember that we were

  58. Joseph Church. We were really dreamers back then. You know,

  59. we had very little, but yet we dreamt a lot.

  60. And you know, we were small, but yet God did

  61. great things, you know, in and through our church. And

  62. the next twenty years is the Daniel generation or the

  63. Daniel Church, which is from year twenty twenty to year

  64. twenty forty. Okay. So this is what you're referring to

  65. about the next twenty years, the five seas. Okay, so

  66. let me be kept quickly. Conviction speaks about what we

  67. believe in, okay, what we believe in. And you may

  68. have heard us say before that the vision is caught,

  69. not taught. Okay. You gotta see it, you gotta believe it,

  70. and you believe it by catching it, okay, because we

  71. can't really teach it. You know, you can teach it,

  72. you can. You may or may not understand it, but

  73. you may walk away not believing it in it, and

  74. you will not do you any good. But a conviction

  75. is powerful when you actually believe it, and when you

  76. actually catch it and see it being possible, you see

  77. it done, you know. And a vision will never come

  78. to pass if we do not believe, okay, if there

  79. is no conviction okay. And that is why the motto

  80. that we have in the extra is called helping people Believe.

  81. Somebody say event helping people believe. And you actually can

  82. find the motto at the back of the book if

  83. you actually look at the logo behind okay. And that

  84. is our motto okay, and sometimes you share it as

  85. our mission, which is to help people believe. So that's

  86. the first see conviction, we must believe in order to

  87. see a vision come to pass event. The second thing

  88. is this condition okay. Condition actually also means sensualized. So

  89. we need to set a condition in which everyone needs

  90. to be on the same page, okay, so that everyone

  91. understands the same thing, we speak the same lingo, you know,

  92. and so that we are on the same page. Because

  93. if you look back in the Book of Judges, the

  94. Bible actually says that everyone did what was right in

  95. their own eyes. And even though that that sentence sounds

  96. doesn't sound so bad. Right, everyone did what was right.

  97. But did you know that right and wrong? It's very subjective,

  98. you know. Did you know that in different generations, certain

  99. kind of cultures may be right, but in Malaysia it

  100. doesn't seem so right, you know. So where do you

  101. define the moral standard? How do you define it? You know?

  102. It's very subjective. Of course, you and I know that

  103. we have the moral compass, which is the Bible that

  104. is unchanging. It never never changes, right, It's it's immovable,

  105. you know, And but for the world it's it's very subjective.

  106. So we need to be on the same page. You know,

  107. we don't want to have a church whereby everyone does

  108. what is right in their own eyes, otherwise we will

  109. get in trouble. So we need good condition. We need

  110. to be sent for lives. Amen, there's a second sea condition.

  111. The third sea is cooperation or another word for that

  112. is commitment. So many, if you know, without corporation and

  113. without commitment from everyone, we have nothing. We will go nowhere,

  114. we can share all we want and share our hearts out,

  115. but without cooperation and commitment we have nothing. A vision

  116. is nothing without provision. Let me say that again. A

  117. vision is nothing without provision. And I have to say

  118. the provision that God has given us is people, people,

  119. you and me. That's why we are part of this vision.

  120. And we need to cooperate and commit to this vision

  121. so that we can see the vision come to pass.

  122. And what is the vision again? That the earth will

  123. be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the

  124. Lord as the waters cover the sea. So can you

  125. see that every one of us here has a part

  126. to play in this big vision. Amen. The fourth sea

  127. is community. And you and I know that we are

  128. not made as creatures to be solo. Right, None of

  129. us love to be alone, even though some of us

  130. are introverts. And even then, we still like to have

  131. some friends now, right, you know, maybe we don't like

  132. to have friends in a big circle, but you will

  133. love having one or two very close friends one okay,

  134. And I know someone's insurance may be maybe you know, smiling,

  135. you know, and I was. I was also insured in

  136. the past, but after being an access for almost fifteen years,

  137. I would say I'm more extra worted now. We can change,

  138. you know. But yeah, the point is we are not

  139. made to be alone, to be solow. In fact, a

  140. Bible actually says that it's not good that man should

  141. be alone, you know that starting Genesis. Okay, So God

  142. does not want us to move forward alone, but to

  143. go together. We all need each other, do we we do.

  144. We all need each other. I need you and you

  145. need me. We all need each other. We need the

  146. Lord in our lives. And you know that communication is

  147. a big part of community. You know. We can only

  148. understand each other or work together if we have good communication,

  149. you know. And that's why we love having small groups,

  150. because in small groups we have better communication. You know.

  151. I always shay people. I love the power of the

  152. small groups, because in a small group setting in homes,

  153. you should know that we get to have two way conversations.

  154. Did you know that? But in a church setting, very

  155. seldom we get a two week complication unless I come

  156. down to you and give the maac to you and

  157. ask for a response, which is unlikely to happen. Right.

  158. So that's why we believe in the power of the

  159. small and so as the saying, if you want to

  160. go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far,

  161. go together, right, And so we need community in order

  162. to go far together and to see the vision come

  163. to pass. Even the fifth CE is college or another

  164. word for that is training. Okay, training, uh, And we

  165. want to emphasize on our training like never before. I

  166. think that is why you have noticed that we started

  167. to do a little more teaching in our Of course,

  168. we did our fewers get away in our in our

  169. messages because we believe in the power of training that

  170. even as we are equipped, we will be effective witnesses,

  171. effective laborers for him. Amen. Okay. And so how do

  172. we make disciples? There are three ingredients for us to

  173. make disciples, and they're all in letter f's Three f's Okay,

  174. as you can tell, our past academy's very good with

  175. the wordplay. Let me change my again. Okay, all right, okay,

  176. So what is Mike? Sounds different now, okay, okay, all right.

  177. So the three ingredients to make disciples are found in

  178. three f's. The first F is follow me. Okay, follow me,

  179. And so we know that discipleship is not a program. Okay,

  180. listen to this discipleship. It's not a program, but it's

  181. about following people. In fact, if you look at the Bible,

  182. even the disciples who follow Jesus saw how he thought,

  183. saw how he prayed, so how he ministered to people,

  184. and that's how they learned, right, because they followed Jesus closely.

  185. In fact, he had an inner circle, if you if

  186. you read it carefully, you or not he had an

  187. inner circle. There was certain miracles that he only brought

  188. a few people with him the inner circle. You know,

  189. I think it was Peter, James and John and a

  190. few other miracles. He brought some of the inner circle.

  191. But really the disciples learn by watching him closely. Okay,

  192. they didn't sign up for a program, they didn't sign

  193. up for a course. But it's about follow me. That

  194. me is a person which is Jesus Christ, and of

  195. course in our church today is a past us right

  196. or your leaders. So as even as we imitate Christ,

  197. you also should imitate us. So that is what the

  198. first ingredient that we need, which is follow me. The

  199. second one is to feed my sheep. And so our

  200. role and our responsibility is to continue to feed our sheep,

  201. those under our care. That is what is my role,

  202. you know, that's what we as leaders, we are tasked

  203. to do. And then we need to continue to feed

  204. our sheep. And I pray it you will also receive

  205. your daily break from the Lord you know, and not

  206. just wait to be fed in church. Because if you

  207. only wait to be fed in church on a Sunday morning,

  208. I would say to you, it's not enough. Uh. And

  209. I pray that you will continue to read your word

  210. and also uh to to receive your daily bread every

  211. day on your own at home. Amen. And the third

  212. elf is to be vicius of men. And the way

  213. how I understand this is to simply practice what we

  214. have learned, right, because we don't want, we don't ever

  215. want to be spiritually fed. Okay, whereby we hear the

  216. word so much it comes into into into our into

  217. our minds, our soul, our spirit, but we don't exercise it,

  218. you know. And you know that the Word of God

  219. says that faithor that works is so we've got to

  220. exercise it. You know. How do you know that you

  221. really have faith unless exercise it, right, And so we

  222. want to be viciures of men, and that is why

  223. discipleship has this team called do and teach, do and teach.

  224. Sometimes the world can get it mixed up. They tend

  225. to teach and then do. But in actions, we believe

  226. that the man came before the manual. Let me say

  227. that again, the man came before the manual. So we

  228. have to do first, and in our doing we learn

  229. how to do it as the Lord teaches us by

  230. his grace, by his Holy Spirit, and then we manualize

  231. it so that we can pass on from one generation

  232. to another. That's why it's called do and teach, Do

  233. and teach. And so the summary of the mission of

  234. discipleship is simply this, and you can find in a book.

  235. It is to always give only our best to God.

  236. Somebody say amen, always and only give our best to God.

  237. That is what we truly believe. Is the heart of

  238. discipleship in our church. And that's why you always hear

  239. us say to you and to me, you know, give

  240. only your best to God in whatever you do, not

  241. just on Sunday, not just in church, but even your

  242. in your classroom, in your marketplace, in your in your workplace,

  243. in your families at home. That's that's how we can

  244. be a Daniel generation, to be ten times better. Amen.

  245. It is when we always give our best and to

  246. the Lord. Amen. And so I'm gonna now move into

  247. part four, which is the part of supposed to cover today.

  248. And so the question that is posted there in the

  249. book is this, So what makes this different? Okay? You've

  250. heard us share about this discipleship for many, many times, right,

  251. for many weeks. Maybe if you've been an extra long enough,

  252. it's not the first time you're hearing about discipleship. And

  253. so the question is what's the difference, right? What makes

  254. this different from the other? And these next three questions

  255. is what makes it different? The first question is what

  256. is God saying to you or to me? What is

  257. God saying? Okay? And what is God saying speaks about

  258. our conviction? Okay? Even as God speaks to you and

  259. to me, we've got to hear the voice of God.

  260. We've got to believe it and got to we've got

  261. to keep it in our hearts. So that's the first part,

  262. what is God saying to us? Right? And secondly is

  263. to hear what your leaders are saying to you? Okay?

  264. Of course there are blanks in your book, right, But

  265. there's no specific answer to that. Okay, So I know

  266. some of you are telling me in like what's answer?

  267. So there's no specific answer to it. You can write

  268. whatever you you felt let to write, okay. The second

  269. question is what is or what are your leaders saying

  270. to you? And that's a condition because as your leaders

  271. download from the Lord, or I use the example as

  272. pass the kennel downloads from the Lord, he has got

  273. to give us conditions, right, He's got to set the

  274. church on a path, on a direction towards where God

  275. is leading us as a church. Right. And so that's

  276. the second question to you, what is your leaders saying

  277. to you? And the third part I find is very important.

  278. Of course, the first part is the most important what's

  279. God saying to you? But the third part is very

  280. important to you and me, which is what are you saying.

  281. The reason why that is so import is because that

  282. speaks about our part, our commitment, our cooperation. What are

  283. we going to do about it? Because the word of

  284. God will always demand a response. And every single time

  285. we hear the word of God being preached, you know,

  286. whether on a Sunday or whether it's to a quiet

  287. time that the Lord downloads into your spirit, to your

  288. daily break, the word of God always demands the response.

  289. And the question is what are you saying about it?

  290. Because it's not just about knowing what God is saying

  291. or what the leaders are saying to you and not

  292. having anything to say, you know. And so I've seen

  293. I've said in many of the vision castings with Pasa

  294. Kenov in our top leadership, and when he shares you know,

  295. a vision or a direction, he will always pause at

  296. the end of it, and for half an hour, for

  297. a good half enough, right, he will ask this question

  298. to the top leaders right now, I want to hear

  299. some feedback. I want to hear some feedback, and in

  300. then half an hour, right, you get to hear leaders

  301. to respond back to Pasta Kenough saying that, yes, past

  302. I I resonate with that, or I hear you or

  303. I've been reading the world and I also send this

  304. leading in the same direction and you get a response, right,

  305. And that is where I find it. A vision becomes

  306. powerful because it is not just shared to the people,

  307. but you actually get a response back. What are you

  308. actually feeling, what are you actually hearing? You know, and

  309. what is your response to it? Maybe someone words can say, yes,

  310. come on, pasta, I'm ready to run with it, you know,

  311. let's go. How high do we jump? You know? How

  312. far do you want me to run? You know? Or

  313. maybe some words someone are saying no, like I'm not ready,

  314. maybe I need more time, or maybe past can you

  315. explain further what you mean by dad? You know, maybe

  316. I don't understand this part. You know, it's important for

  317. us to have a response. It's important for us to

  318. know whether are you running with a vision or not?

  319. Are you with us? Are you on board with the vision?

  320. Because if you look at the scripture, there is a

  321. story in the Bible whereby Jesus turned to his disciples

  322. and asked his discipers, who do they say I am?

  323. You know, you remember that the scripture or the passage.

  324. It's found in Matthew chapter sixteen. Get write it down.

  325. It's not in your book, Matthew, Chapter sixteen, verse thirteen

  326. to sixteen. I'm going to read it to you, okay.

  327. When Jesus came to the region of Cicia Philippi, he

  328. asked his disciples, saying, who do men say that I

  329. the son of Men am? So they say, some say

  330. John the Baptist, some Elijah, others Jeremiah and one of

  331. the prophets. And he said to them, Esus are. Jesus

  332. said to them, but who do you say I am?

  333. Come on, do you see that? But who do you

  334. say I am? Jesus was not satisfied with the answer

  335. of what other people say who he is, although it's

  336. a good answer, sounds like sounds like a good answer,

  337. but it's not satisfied the answer. The question is who

  338. do you say I am? There it was the powerful

  339. part when Simon Peter answered and said, you are the Christ,

  340. the son of the Living God. Did you see the response?

  341. What a powerful response. And Jesus actually said to him

  342. that men and fast did not reveal this to you,

  343. but God himself, you know. And there's the power in that.

  344. So the question to you and to me is what

  345. are we saying? What are you saying? You know, the

  346. success of a vision. It's not just knowing what God

  347. is saying to us. It's not just knowing what the

  348. leaders are saying to us. But what are we saying

  349. in return? Even as we hear the vision? Are you

  350. catching something this morning? Amen? What are we saying to

  351. the vision? So I encourage you. I pray it. Everyone

  352. here will say, yes, Lord, we catch the vision. We

  353. want to see the whole field with the knowledge of

  354. the glory of the Lord. Help us, Lord help me.

  355. I may not have enough. I'm very small, I'm fearful,

  356. I'm worried. But Lord help me, Lord help my unbelief.

  357. But at least we are moving forward. Amen. At least

  358. we agree with the vision. At least we believe in

  359. the vision. At least we are running with the vision. Amen.

  360. So the next part is very important. It is the

  361. tree els that we're gonna talk a lot about today.

  362. The three l's are this, the lost, the leaders, and

  363. the eleven. Okay, those are the blanks that you can

  364. feel in the lost first one, the second one is

  365. the leaders, and the third one is the eleven. Okay,

  366. those are the three l's. That you can feel in

  367. in the blanks. So the first one is this the loss.

  368. The vision of ex Church has always been about the loss.

  369. Listen to this. It's not been about having a big

  370. sound system or big lights, or big stage or big equipment,

  371. having a private jet. You will find that ex Church

  372. is not none of that. Okay. In fact, all of

  373. our church services, our systems are very basic. Okay, I

  374. will say we are blessed, very very blessed by the

  375. grace of God. But we don't have very elaborate systems. Okay,

  376. many of our systems actually some whatever even we see

  377. from others for free, you know, people give to us

  378. things like that. Yeah, Gary's pointing at the drums. The

  379. drums came from our favorite service in Subang Jaya. And

  380. if a service needs uh you know or I wrong? Right?

  381. You know? You wrong? Yes, you wrong? Yeah, I think

  382. part of the jums came from Irong. Actually he he

  383. gave to us, shipped all the way from East Malaysia, right, yes,

  384. shifted all the way from East Malaysia. I don't, I don't.

  385. I don't know how much it costs. I think it

  386. gave me like curtains, you know, big curtains. Yeah, so

  387. it's a combination of his set together with our church set,

  388. and we've got our church drum set going around. You know.

  389. If a Cyberga needs to say, we send his head

  390. over to them. If Kneli needs to set, we sent

  391. one set to them. You know. So again, the whole

  392. point is that it's not about how big, how grand

  393. our church is. Listen, the vision has always been about

  394. the lost. And I remember this saying, you know, but

  395. I think it was Whinehart Bonk you say this. If

  396. the church does not reach the lost, we are lost ourselves.

  397. Think about it, and that's the very mission and the

  398. reason why the church exists. It is to reach the

  399. laws and thens why I need you to understand why

  400. sometimes our church spends a lot of money on missions.

  401. We spend a lot of money on planting churches. We

  402. spend a lot of money on sending missionaries abroad. You know,

  403. it's not easy and not cheap to plant churches in London, Like,

  404. no one in the right mind will plan the church

  405. in the currency that it's five times their size, no one.

  406. But we don't do it for fun, and no, we

  407. do it because there's a call of God. In our

  408. lives on our church. We are our church planting church.

  409. We are a movement, and our goal is to spread

  410. the gospel as far and as wide as we can,

  411. and that we believe that every street and every corner

  412. must have a church. I don't think so. We can

  413. ever have too many churches. I don't think so, because

  414. if the entire militia comes to church, we don't have

  415. enough churches. I think there's a lot of room. There's

  416. plenty of room. We believe it. So remember the vision

  417. has always been about the lost. And by the way,

  418. in your book, there's one line that says everyone can

  419. be a leader. You can actually cross out the line.

  420. It's not meant to be there. There was a there

  421. was a typing error. That line is supposed to be

  422. in the next point. Okay, so just for your information,

  423. you can cross out the line everyone can be a

  424. leader under the lost item. Okay, all right, Okay. The

  425. second point is the leaders. We need the leaders to

  426. rise up, and we truly believe that every single person

  427. here can be a leader. Event they believe that event

  428. not very convincing because maybe you're scared of shicking or

  429. when I don't think so, I can you're a leader.

  430. But really, I believe that everyone can be a leader.

  431. In fact, you and I we are already a leader

  432. in one capacity or another, because you heard me say

  433. that we we first need to lead ourselves. The fact

  434. that you are in church today, you had to lead

  435. yourself out of your bit and to come to church.

  436. You made a choice, you made a decision to be

  437. in the house of God. And so in one way

  438. or another, you're already a leader of yourself. And we

  439. can only lead others when we have first led ourselves.

  440. Does that make sense right? So I believe that we

  441. all have the capacity to be a leader. You know, leaders,

  442. I don't think they're born per se. You know, it

  443. can be raised, It can be raised and betraying now

  444. to be a leader, and we already have one thousand

  445. people in our church, we do, and I believe that

  446. every single person of this one thousand people should be

  447. a disciple, not just a disciple, but eventually a leader

  448. to raise another disciple after them. Amen. So we need

  449. every leader to rise up. And if you're not yet

  450. the leader, I want to encourage you to be willing, uh,

  451. you know, to be to be open. You know, we

  452. have a lot of trainings these days for leadership, and

  453. of course first of all to be disciple and eventually

  454. to be raised as a leader, because we need every

  455. available hand and leader that we need to see this

  456. vision come to pass and man, so the leaders need

  457. to rise up. And the third one is this, It

  458. is the eleven, the eleven. Jesus said this. The Kingdom

  459. of Heaven is like leven. Of Heaven is like leven.

  460. And so leven, right is when you you know, you

  461. know what leven is when you put if if for

  462. those of you who are bakers, but you know what

  463. this really is. When you put eleven or years into

  464. the door, it begins to rise, right, it begins to rise.

  465. And just picture leven like a force, you know, or

  466. like a like a push, you know, whereby we need

  467. some discipline or we need some some movement or some

  468. reaction to cause the door to rise. And this, you know,

  469. without the leaven, the door will not rise, and you

  470. may just get flat bread. I don't know what do

  471. you call it? Is that correct? Okay? Okay, oh okay, okay,

  472. that's that's what you get. I didn't know that. So apparently,

  473. according to the Liners, if you don't put leven you

  474. get uh you know, and sometimes you and I our

  475. lives are like that.

  476. Uh.

  477. We we are made of We are creatures of comfort,

  478. you know. We we tend to lace a lot. We

  479. we tend to be lazy. I'm not sure where you're

  480. like that, but I am like that. You know, after

  481. a long day on a Sunday, right when I go

  482. back home, we can ask my wife. I'll be on

  483. the couch, right, I'm just like flat, I want a couch.

  484. I'm on a couch. And I'm like, I will just

  485. kof for like I don't know, half an hour, one hour,

  486. because if I when I gave my best one hundred

  487. percent in church, right I go back. I'm just I

  488. just knock off, you know, and so and and and

  489. sometimes on on on a daily basis. But also like that,

  490. we tend to be lazy, right because we are creatures

  491. of comfort. And so Leopard gets the disciples and he

  492. just kicked out of their comfort zone. You know. That's

  493. what the says, you know, send out laborers into the

  494. harvest field. Send out labors into the harvest field. I'll

  495. give you the scripture later because it is on the

  496. later part. But did you know that word send out

  497. labors into the harvest field actually means kicked out, kicked

  498. out or another word is pushed out. You know, if

  499. we if we actually use that word in church, you

  500. may leave church. If I kick you out though another

  501. church ran to plan at church, we may leave church.

  502. But did you know that's actually what the word means.

  503. I'll show you later, okay, because I don't want to

  504. jump my head of the notes. Okay, barby me. I'll

  505. come to that again. Okay. So the secret to real

  506. growth is radical obedience to God. The secret to real

  507. growth is radical obedience to God. I must say, in

  508. the past twenty years of ex Church, the past twenty

  509. years past, the cannel and the leadership ex Church have

  510. always built the foundation of Exchurch on these three radical things.

  511. Number one radical obedience, Number two radical unity, and number

  512. three radical generosity. How have you know without radical obedience,

  513. a vision will fail if you'll not come to past.

  514. And when I look back at the history of ex Church,

  515. I really do believe that we have radicals because we

  516. have planted wherever and anywhere that God has called us

  517. to plan only by obedience. And I've always thought about

  518. this point you know, how many of you know that

  519. we are called to live a medical life of Jesus Christ,

  520. and I always wrestle. We just thought sometimes on my

  521. own or when I when I discuss my wife, you know,

  522. when we wake up early in the morning and travel

  523. one hour away for worship service and then travel back,

  524. and sometimes we have this random conversation or we were

  525. discussed by saying, you know what there, how I wisha

  526. if you could just leave some normal life. I wonder

  527. whether it's not of my leadership asked the question before.

  528. They're not in their hates, So I asked the question

  529. for no, I wonder if I can just leave a

  530. normal life. And then I realized in my quiet time,

  531. and then the lort ministers to me, and also when

  532. I talk to my wife, I realized one thing, you

  533. know that God didn't I should say, Jesus didn't come

  534. to the earth to die on the cross, so you

  535. and I can live a normal life. Think about it.

  536. We are not called to live a normal life, because

  537. even the scripture says we are called to be more

  538. than overcomers, more than conquers. Doesn't look like a normal

  539. life to me, and you will only experience the more

  540. than overcomer, the more than conquers, when you really live

  541. your life by faith, when you live a life radically

  542. in obedience to Him. And so I say, Lord, thank

  543. you Lord, that I'm able to live radically for you.

  544. But one of my prayers, my deepest prayers, I always

  545. ask God, Lord, the journey is not easy. I pray

  546. for grace to run the marathon race until he's finished. Amen,

  547. to run until he's finished. Because as I sit with

  548. some of my other Okay, I see my boss. My

  549. boss is a so a Christian. He's the chairman of

  550. hair Guy International. If you know, hey guy, that's that's

  551. my boss. Uh. So, he likes to sit down with

  552. me and we like to talk talk about faith. We

  553. talk about faith in the office, you know. Uh And

  554. here then tell me, you know, like, remember it's a marathon.

  555. It's not a spin race. And I see, yeah, I

  556. remember that. I remember always all the time. It's not

  557. a spin race. So help us lot, help us lot,

  558. help all of us. Hear an experts to live a

  559. radical life. Listen to me, not as a spin race,

  560. but as a marathon. By God's grace, You'll be able

  561. to do it. Amen, Radical obedience. Without obedience, a vision

  562. will fail. Without obedience of vision will fail. Radical obedience

  563. number two, radical unity. We need to unite like never before.

  564. An extra has been to his ups and downs. Whereby

  565. we have some challenges. Whereby they were gossip, they were

  566. bad things, they were said about us. You know, the

  567. church had to not to say split. But we had

  568. some people who left, you know. But we always remind

  569. the church to guard the unity like never before, because

  570. if you give a foothold to the enemy, the enemy

  571. were attacked from the inside and where and when the

  572. attacks on the inside is the worst. It's the most painful.

  573. Medical generosity and I really really believed that act Church

  574. has verdical generosity. You know, we built this church starting

  575. with campus students. And if you've been in the Actress

  576. long enough, I still remember the early days. Uh did

  577. you know a fun fact? Right the chance that you're

  578. sitting on right now, Actually many of the chairs were

  579. sponsored by campus students. Fun factor. In the early days

  580. of our church, we didn't have money, no money, right,

  581. most we had got we had faith. And so when

  582. we had to start a church, when we had a

  583. bigger building, bigger space, we needed to raise money to

  584. buy chess, and we had this program called buy a

  585. seat s e A t I buy a seat by

  586. a child or buy a seat right, and we encourage

  587. every person to buy your own seat in church. First

  588. of all, buy your own seat first, and if you

  589. can afford it, if you have extra, buy another seat

  590. for someone else. So that's what happened in the early

  591. days campus students, and of course those days church was

  592. very very young. A lot of campus students, many campus

  593. students that you was seat that here today gave to

  594. the cost and so the very chair you're sitting on

  595. is a miracle of that campus students with verdical generosity

  596. who gave unto the Lord and bought a seat for

  597. themselves and for others. Praise the Lord. That is what

  598. brought us to the last twenty years. But friends, we

  599. cannot stop there. You need to keep moving, right, So,

  600. these are the requirements for the next twenty years of growth,

  601. Radical ideas, radical initiatives, and radical implementation. That's the word

  602. you need to write down, verdical implementation. This is what

  603. we need for the next twenty years of growth, radical ideas.

  604. And another word for that in record is daily bread.

  605. Because we can continue to do all we want in

  606. our human wisdom, and we won't grow. We need godly ideas,

  607. so we need to download from the Lord ideas, radical

  608. ideas through our daily break as the Lord leads our

  609. church moving forward. And the second part is verdical initiatives

  610. and is the part that we give back and to

  611. the Lord. So we call it esther Tithe, the tithe.

  612. I pray you will come next week because next week

  613. in the part three there is a part whereby it's

  614. going to be on the power of the Type. And

  615. it's really really very powerful if you can really please

  616. don't turn it now, look at it later. But next

  617. week we're gonna talk about the power of the Type.

  618. And this is the verdical initiated whereby this is our

  619. part that we give back onto the Lord, even as

  620. we download from the Lord radical ideas and our daily break.

  621. This is the part where we upload and give it

  622. back on to the Lord, to our tithe. And the

  623. third one is our radical implementation, which is eleven, nothing

  624. will come to pass. And as you and I take

  625. action and put our hands and our works to the

  626. and our hands to the plow, nothing will come to

  627. pass until and unness, we implement the vision. And so

  628. we're gonna go back to the three l's that I

  629. spoke about earlier. Remember to year by the three els.

  630. The challenge to our vision in these three ls. The

  631. greatest challenge to our vision is that we cannot achieve

  632. it without winning the lost. Did you hear that? Let

  633. me say it again. The greatest challenge to our vision

  634. is that we cannot achieve it without winning the lost,

  635. lots of them. Because the Church is not here in

  636. Malaysia just to serve the ten percent. What I mean

  637. by the ten percent is that if you look at

  638. the stats today, the Christian population makes up about ten

  639. percent in Malaysia. According to the census. That's always about

  640. twenty twenty one, I think, Okay, sometime back it's about

  641. nine point two percent roughly. If you round it up,

  642. it's about ten percent. And by the way, more than so.

  643. I think it's East nature makes up majority of it, Okay.

  644. Easplanation has more than fifty percent, okay, of Christian population.

  645. We didn't Inspilacia itself their majority. Okay. So the point

  646. is this, the Church is not here to look after

  647. the ten percent. Come on, I pray it as believers, right,

  648. we will learn how to take ownership of our own

  649. faith because the responsibility of the church is to eleven

  650. the ninety percent that has not hurt the gospel of

  651. Jesus Christ. And that is why you and I as believers,

  652. we need to be equipped, We need to be trained,

  653. and we need to be raised as leaders so that

  654. we can be elevened and forced and kicked out of

  655. our comfort zone to do what God has caused us

  656. to do. You see, even Jesus himself knew exactly what

  657. was his purpose and mission on earth. Luke Chapter nineteen,

  658. verse ten says, for the son of Man has come

  659. to seek and to save that which was lost. So

  660. Jesus had thirty three years on earth to be exact,

  661. and he knew exactly what was his purpose. What was

  662. his mission which is two sick and save the loss.

  663. And if we are his disciples, that very mission of

  664. Jesus Christ should also be ours, which is to seek

  665. and save the loss. So I pray that it will be

  666. re aligned to that. So here had asks, we also

  667. know it as the fifth w And what is the

  668. fifth w? Weaitness? The fifth dou w is witness, that

  669. is the is the part whereby we need to shift

  670. our gear in this year to witness more than ever before,

  671. to create a momentum, and to push forward so that

  672. we can see the vision come to pass with nurse

  673. amen witness. So remember this is the greatest challenge in

  674. our vision, is that we can't achieve it without winning

  675. the loss and many, many, many of them. And I mean,

  676. I'm pleased to share with you that we actually have

  677. quite a number of salvations last year in so manyay

  678. I think it was three salvations and maybe about four

  679. or five dedications in so many itself. Praise the Lord,

  680. and you want to you want to win more souls

  681. for Jesus, Amen. And there's our mission to win more

  682. souls for him, hallelujah. The second els is leaders. The

  683. second greatest challenge is that we can't do it without eleven,

  684. which is the sending out or another word for it

  685. is the leaders or laborers. What does the scripture say

  686. about this? Matt threw Chapter nine, verse thirty seven says,

  687. then he said to his disciples, the harvest fully is plentiful,

  688. but the laborers are feel Therefore, pray the Lord of

  689. the horvest to send out laborers into the harvest. What

  690. does the scripture say, pray the Lord of the house

  691. to send out labors into the horvest. And the word

  692. here send out actually means actually in Greek is eg balow.

  693. Somebody say egg balow, and eg borlow actually means to

  694. drive out, to cast out, to expel, to draw out

  695. with force. Well, did you know if I use those

  696. words in church right, someone words may leave church. But

  697. that's what it actually means. You know, if you're gonna

  698. look back at the Greek word blow to drive out,

  699. and the scripture is very clear, know that God never

  700. asked right to pray for the harvest. You should know that.

  701. What did the scripture say, pray for the horvest? No,

  702. the scripture actually starts by saying the harvest is plentiful,

  703. but the labors are few. And then the pray becus comes,

  704. you know, pray the lot of the hours to send

  705. out lay borders. Come on, say to your feet. While

  706. now I'm a laborer, I'm a labor for Jesus Christ.

  707. The scripture says, pray the lot of the hours to

  708. send out labors into the horvest. It didn't say pray

  709. that the hours were coming to the church think about it.

  710. And so the second greatest challenge to our vision is

  711. that we can't accomplish it without having labors and leaders

  712. who are willing to be leavened. And the word leaven

  713. again is to is to rise right, is to rise out,

  714. and to be sent out. Send out is to be

  715. driven out, to be cast out, to be pushed out

  716. into the harvest field as laborers for him. How many

  717. of us here would say that we are ready for that?

  718. Come on, I paid our spirit will be quickened, then

  719. we'll be ready. And so if you look at page

  720. page thirty or thirty two, page thirty two in a book,

  721. that word is laborers. The problem has never been with

  722. the harvest by the house does We were never taught

  723. to pray for the harvest, but to pray for the laborers.

  724. Come on, I'm looking at a whole bunch of laborers

  725. in this room right now. You and I we are

  726. part of this vision. Amen. God has counted us part

  727. of this vision that we want to see come to pass. Amen.

  728. The third one is eleven. And the third greatest challenge

  729. is that we can't do it without eleven, which is

  730. a sending out Romans Chapter ten verse thirteen to fifteen

  731. in page thirty two. Let's all read these together. One two,

  732. and let's go. For whoever calls on the name of

  733. the Lord shall be saved. How then, shall they call

  734. on him in whom they have not believed? And how

  735. shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?

  736. And how shall they hear without a preacher? How shall

  737. they preach unless they are sent? As it is written,

  738. how beautiful out of feet of those who preach the

  739. Gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things. Amen.

  740. So if you're if you want to have good feet

  741. or beautiful feet, be a preacher, be a labor to

  742. be sent out. Amen. And so this is another way

  743. of you know, of writing as a labor is to

  744. be sent out. That's why we see in this verse,

  745. how shall they preach unless they are sent? And did

  746. you notice that this word sent actually in Greek is

  747. a postelo, a postelo which means to send forth or

  748. the away, or to send out on a mission. That's

  749. what it means to be sent. Fourth, all right, the

  750. next part is leven is the discipline, that is what

  751. you need to write in a book. Leven is the discipline.

  752. You know, even as we are laborers, it takes a

  753. lot of discipline, because leven is very much in the doing,

  754. you know, and in the doing we will need a

  755. lot of discipline. And that's why the scripture in first

  756. Covindence nine, verse twenty six day is therefore I run

  757. thus not the uncertainty. Thus I fight not as one

  758. who beats the air. But I discipline my body. Come on,

  759. I discipline my body and bring it into subjection. Less

  760. when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

  761. So the leaven is the discipline. Eleven is the discipline,

  762. and the next point we're also say eleven is the doing,

  763. because in the doing you and I will need a

  764. lot and a lot of discipline in order for us

  765. to continue to be effective laborers and leaders to be

  766. used by God. Amen. So leven is the discipline, leven

  767. is the doing, and the doing is simply this the execution.

  768. Every vision will only come to pass if there is execution,

  769. if there is implementation. We need to execute the plan.

  770. We need to implement the vision. And how many of

  771. you know, the more we continue to implement the vision,

  772. we will gain traction. We will gain momentum, we get

  773. better at doing something. For example, if you have never

  774. shared the gospel to a free believer before, I encourage

  775. you to try it because that will truly challenge you

  776. how much you really know about the gospel. When your

  777. friends ask you more questions, you know, and the more

  778. you do it, you get better. It did, right, It

  779. makes sense, So we continue again. Momentum, we gain a habit,

  780. we gain custom and culture, and momentum is the ingredient

  781. to miracles. Let me say that again. Momentum is the

  782. ingredient to miracles. Even as we continue to pray and

  783. continue to do keep on doing it again and again

  784. and again, we will continue to see God's miracles everything

  785. in our lives and the many things you do in church.

  786. Right that we have done it and it's become a culture.

  787. I give you some examples. You hear us saying, oh,

  788. yes and amen's doing the message. Amen. You know, I

  789. remember in those early days right in our church, we

  790. use we used to have a lot of excitement. We

  791. used to do those play cards, and we have the

  792. yes and amen preach it faster. You know, I remember

  793. what else are there? Or what what's fabulous? You know,

  794. so on and so forth right, And the reason why

  795. we do it is because we are claiming the word

  796. for ourselves. We say yes, not I believe it. Yes,

  797. and amen, I believe it. You're claiming the word for yourself.

  798. And it creates excitement in church. And that's why we

  799. say in the ext church is we are never a

  800. day church. You know you will find it. We have

  801. a lot to celebrate about. And your excitement is contagious

  802. because when other people who are new coming to our church,

  803. they realize that we're very exciting. We're very exciting people,

  804. and we're excited but things of God. Amen. And I

  805. prayed that this culture will continue to go on for many,

  806. many years and generations to come. Amen. Remember that there's

  807. the reason why we do it. And so may our

  808. practices become momentum, become habit, become customs. If we do

  809. it time and time and time again, it's a discipline.

  810. Imagine the day when witnessing, soul, winning disciple making leader

  811. for using Daniel releasing becomes momentum, habit, culture, and custom.

  812. That's where God wants to get us too. That's where

  813. he wants to position us. That's getting our house in

  814. order as rebuilding the walls and hanging up the gates.

  815. That's what we want to leave for our next generation.

  816. That's the road to twenty thirty. And that is twenty thirty.

  817. And by the way, this sentence of this phase that

  818. was said or written was given in twenty twenty one.

  819. We're in twenty twenty six. No and Friends has never changed.

  820. It is still the same vision. We're still on the

  821. road to twenty thirty. When I watched this video's twenty

  822. and one, No, and we are still preparing towards twenty

  823. thirty twenty thirty. So the last part for today is

  824. the implementation part. Now you may be wondering, right, you're

  825. talking a lot about plans and making disciples, but you

  826. haven't gone to numbers. Don't worry, You're getting into it

  827. next week, okay, next week, next week almost there are

  828. some numbers, okay, and some plans they need to write down. Okay.

  829. So this is the last part for today, which is

  830. the implementation. And another way to write it is God's diet.

  831. God's diet. Now, if you read the Book of Daniel,

  832. you will realize that Daniel and his three fans, Micheck

  833. and I've been a goo. They lived on vegetables. They

  834. refuse to take on the delicacies or the king's delicacies.

  835. But they lived on vegetables and water for ten days.

  836. They say to the kings, na try us for ten days,

  837. you know, and just feed us, just vegetables and water.

  838. And if you read the scripture, you will know that

  839. they were found to be better. Oh, I think the

  840. scripture says fatter. Wow, so you want to be fatter? Apparently,

  841. eat vegetables. Okay, stronger and fatter. You know. They became

  842. stronger and fatter as they lived on vegetables and water

  843. for ten days. And this is what God wants to

  844. once as to fulfill our purpose. This is the way

  845. how God wants to fear a purpose. It's used to

  846. live on God's diet. To live on God's diet. So

  847. now allow me to break down God's dialectically as as

  848. I close number one, which is daily bread, which is

  849. the radical ideas you heard me say earlier, daily bread.

  850. Make a list now, even as download FM the Lord,

  851. make a list. Write down who you want to reach

  852. out to, who God has put on your heart right now,

  853. a friend that you have lost touch with, that you

  854. may need to reconnect. You know, you can do it

  855. at home or any other time. I think there's small

  856. space in your book and the pages behind. But make

  857. a list, even as you do a quiet time, as

  858. you read the word, cause you receive a daily break

  859. down from the Lord, make a list. The second one

  860. is tithe, which is our initiative, make a commitment. This

  861. is our upload to the Lord. And even as you

  862. have made a list, you said to the Lord Lord,

  863. this is all the time I have, this is all

  864. the money I have, this is all the energy I have.

  865. I want to make a commitment to see it come

  866. to pass. This is my tithe. This is my upload

  867. to the Lord. Remember from the Lord. First, make a list,

  868. and then we play and set it as a commitment

  869. and we upload back to the Lord. And the third

  870. one is eleven, which is the implementation. Make it count.

  871. Make it count. Another word for that is accountability. Accountability

  872. and to make it count is to really get our

  873. hands dirty, to get down to it, to really do it.

  874. You know, where the rubber meets the road, you know,

  875. and malay we call it. You know, just just do it.

  876. Come on, get your hands dirty, make it count. And

  877. the word accountability has the word count in it. That's

  878. why it says make it count. We want to be

  879. accountable for all the time and the resources that God

  880. has given and trusted us with. Amen. The five steps

  881. of God's dire is this, Make a list who want

  882. to reach out to hoo on the disciple, who do

  883. on invite? Number two, make a comedy mon pray about

  884. the list, commit it to the Lord, tipe it to

  885. the Lord. Number three, make it count. We live live

  886. by the power of the tithe Again. We'll share that.

  887. More about that next week. I pay you'll come and

  888. join us next week and before make time to help others.

  889. And number five, make sure you always remember the vision

  890. so that we don't get distracted. And I remember that

  891. the vision is always about the lost. It's not about us,

  892. but it's about the lost. Amen. Allow me to recap

  893. as I finished my last leap, my last lap thirty

  894. more seconds. Vision is the vision is to have dominion

  895. the last like okay, vision is to have dominion. Vision

  896. is for us to have dominion, to subdue the earth,

  897. to have influence, for the earth to be filled with

  898. the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. That's the

  899. vision and how do we get there to make disciples?

  900. We get there. Our mission is to make disciples. The direction,

  901. what do we want to be like Daniels? That's a direction.

  902. What do you want to be like Daniel's to be

  903. ten times better? To carry God's spirit in us with

  904. the excellent spirit. The focus is diet, God's diet. We

  905. can only accomplish this if we have focused and if

  906. we take on God's diet. That's the only way we

  907. can run and fulfill this vision. And last but not least,

  908. it will cost us, and that cost is discipline. It

  909. will cost us discipline, much discipline to run this race

  910. and this vision to see it come to pass. Amen, hallelujah.

  911. You know, I really believe there's a Lord shared today,

  912. even in such a short time. But I pray that

  913. you will catch something this morning, that all of us

  914. are part of this big vision and this big, big

  915. plan that God has for ex chearch, for you and

  916. for me. Amen.
