You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your teath.
-
Okay, let's let's get right right to it. All right,
-
I lost my voice in the week or so. I
-
rarely used to lose my voice. In fact, I think
-
this was the first time ever in my life that
-
I lost my voice to a certain extent. My wife
-
was also unwell, but by the grace of God, we
-
are both made well in Jesus name a man. And
-
there was once I remember during youth cam that my
-
wife also lost a voice youth cam. There was I
-
think last year. If I'm not to take on a
-
year before, I'm not sure. But the way she lose
-
her voice is that she will have a very deep
-
and very like low thought and hello, yeah, very deep.
-
I cannot replicate. But when I lost my voice, I
-
sounded like a cheap monk. Okay, I sounded like a
-
cheap monk. And the funny thing was that right after
-
worship survey last Sunday, we had an amazing Niacary celebration.
-
Some of the kids were having their their time of
-
their life with us, right with me, so they look
-
at me, they hear my voice they're going to take
-
the helium balloon in heally, and then they make fun
-
of me. Look, I say, yeah, praise the Lord. Good
-
that you have a voice. Make sure you use it
-
for the right reason. Amen. But voice is important, It's
-
really important. I was visiting my favorite chicken rice patron, right,
-
you know. By now you should know I love chicken rice, right,
-
And I was trying to order chicken rice, the one
-
that I like from this patron. And I was just
-
in so much pain because I cannot communicate this person. Yeah.
-
I was trying to say, yeah, call kay fun right,
-
and I asked for kai pei. Hey what let me
-
stick away the bonon? And then I want to chast
-
you and I want to pull face out. This is
-
my order, you know, very long one. And then the
-
sauce must be said, I pray so because I don't
-
like the sauce to be mixed in together the chicken.
-
You know, it gets all soggy, not nice. I could
-
be separate, but the chance your sauce I like to love. Now,
-
how am I going to replicate that without voice? So
-
I was trying my best to order the worst part
-
of it is that on that day, the main guide
-
is I didn't know to come. So it was the maid.
-
It was a cut helper, and she could couldn't understand Mendraine.
-
To save her life. She can't understand Barasa. So I
-
had to type. I had to type in Mandarin to
-
type in Bahasa what I wanted. Yeah, And it was
-
such a really, such a torrid experience because I couldn't
-
get my order. And upon the time time, I just
-
looked down and I almost started sobbing in my heart.
-
I just wanted my chicken rice. I just wanted to
-
eat my favorite kaifan. It was so sad, right, I
-
tell you what. The moment my voice returned partially on Thursday,
-
I rushed back to the same chicken rice shop and
-
I had my chicken rice praised a lot, you know,
-
that day when I wanted to order chicken rice, I
-
couldn't because she just couldn't understand me. So I ordered,
-
I got my chicken rice, but what I got was
-
guy home fun, dry and not nice, not tender, praise
-
the Lord. So voice is very important, you know, voice
-
is very important. And I just want to just give
-
glory to God and we have the opportunity to speak.
-
I was I had a little bit of an experience
-
of how the death and blind you know what, the death,
-
the one that cannot speak, the muted ones. It's such
-
a experience, you know, it's such a and yet we
-
look at them, and we look at them praising God
-
giving your best. Look at brothers and sisters and expert feels,
-
they give their best. Now they're not they're not mute,
-
they're deaf, but they used our language to communicate. So
-
I was just practicing my sign language and the past
-
big alone and I want I want to show you
-
something and I don't know whether it will come across
-
correct or not, but it should be Lah. So I
-
don't know how many you understand SID language. So what
-
is this? Yeah? What is this? You know I'm doing
-
it right? Yeah? So everywhere I go, I was doing this?
-
Loves you? Yeah? Correct? Right? Am I doing correctly? Why?
-
Or you? Yeah? Praise the Lord. God loves each and
-
every one of us. And I have the title for
-
us today. I'm going to speak from my heart. Is
-
that okay? Say? Okay? Church? Yeah all right? Can I
-
have the first slight up today? Yeah? We are in
-
the in the team of Revival, d R. E. A. M.
-
And The title that I have for us this morning
-
is revived our Hearts, Oh lot. Now, I pray that
-
after we end today, it will no longer just be
-
a title that you go and say, passidam preach. Was
-
this sermon title Revive our hearts? A Lord, I pray
-
that by the end of this message, it will be
-
your crime. Amen. I prayed that by the end of
-
this message, or even by the center in the midpoint,
-
it will be your cry. It's a cry to our
-
Lord to revive our hearts. You know, I'm not sure
-
how I will get this across. But except the fact that,
-
let's say, for example, you have a love one in
-
front of you and the love one is no longer breathing.
-
Now that same cry that you'll alter the Lord, revive
-
this young child, or Lord, or revive this person or
-
Lord give him breath once again, that he can breathe
-
and he can live normally, revive his walking condition. I
-
don't know how much of you have been struggling with
-
caring for a love one that is unwell. You would one.
-
It paints a heart, right, I know, children, brother, children
-
is going through that right now. And Roy, I just
-
want to encourage you and Ettor and Nancy or wherever
-
she is, and to encourage you this family that you
-
can just continue to press on, give your dad the
-
best that you can, and we pray. We're all in
-
prayer with you. You know, everyone in this room is
-
in prayer with you, Roy, and I just want to
-
encourage you. You know, don't lose heart, but it is a
-
cry when you see someone that is not well, not
-
even your love one. Maybe someone here you would have
-
the heart empathy to ask God, hey, I pray that
-
it would get better. Yeah. So I pray that at
-
the end of this message, this will become your crime. Right.
-
I pray that if you look at this right now
-
and nothing is stirring in your heart, I pray that
-
by the end of this message, something will stirn in
-
your heart because it is important. It is important to
-
have a heart that is alive. I don't know how
-
many of you walk around thinking that it's okay to
-
have a heart that's dead, because in the days to come,
-
and the scripture says this, that it would be more
-
and more barren, that we will lose, start to lose
-
love for one another. It'll be more and more barent.
-
That means what we think that we used to have
-
that certain love. Now I'm not talking about romantic love.
-
I'm talking about a love, a care that for good,
-
so love this world. You walk around and you go like, hey, brother,
-
I love for you, and that's why I care for you,
-
and that's why whatever you're doing is wrong. Therefore come back.
-
But they will come a point in time where we
-
will start going to that same person and even though
-
he's wasting his life away, we will go, like I
-
tell you want that's his own business, and we feel
-
that no, no longer feel the need to communicate that anymore.
-
Friends and family that needs revival, right, friends and family,
-
Our hearts need revival. I pray that we will never
-
come to a point where we will pass by someone
-
in need and we'll go like I got to go
-
to church, pass by someone in me and say, oh
-
I got to go and you know, go for this meeting.
-
I pray that we'll never reach that point. Amen. You know,
-
there was so many times in Kazas Highway. I just
-
want to tell you a real story. I was driving
-
on the way to work. This was when I was
-
still in Sunway working for Sunway, and on the opposite
-
side of Kasas Highway. I saw this young lady right
-
stranded beside the road and can clearly see that her
-
tire or spongela right Becasus. Now, if you're not Casus, you
-
know you'll get to the other side one as you
-
do a big fat EU turn right all the way. Now,
-
as I was driving to work, I was just looking
-
at the leader. I'm in my mind. The first thing
-
that I thought is someone will help her. So in
-
my mind I couldn't try drive, try and try all
-
the way that my heart was stirring, like I think,
-
better go and Checkla, better go and check help my mind.
-
But then I just passed the gem. You know you
-
know then jam, Now I have to you turn back
-
then if I have to get back to work. Gone
-
a day, one hour gone. So I went all the
-
way to the Uthan and my heart I really cannot
-
be So it was either you turn after you turn,
-
turn left, go up the Sunway ram and turn back
-
into Banasaway. So you don't know Casas Away. I'm sorry,
-
but there is a ram that used to take I
-
was telling myself, Okayla, tell you what someone will go.
-
I went straight, said to go straight, listen to the
-
inner voice of my heart went straight all the way
-
there to the shell, which is right behind the shell,
-
and went there, and I look, someone was helping Herdy,
-
someone was helping her. In my mind, I thought, I
-
told myself to see then I told you already you
-
shouldn't have done that. Why can't you just listen? You
-
know why you waste the time? Now your boss is
-
going to call you because you're late to work, and
-
everything is going to just spiral our control. And then Sally,
-
the Holy Spirit, I remember very clearly, just ministered to
-
my heart. Hey, at least now you know the length
-
that I had to go to to reach those that
-
perhaps think that they need help. But the moment I
-
have arrived, they no longer look to me. Some of us,
-
sometimes we are at the place of dependence to God.
-
Your child sick, she say in the hospital. Bit you pray,
-
you pray, you pray, you pray, something happens, the person
-
gets healed, and then now the pray is gone. God
-
is there. In fact, perhaps it's perhaps it's the Holy
-
Spirit that allowed this person to experience their breakthrough or
-
their healing. But when you are at a position where
-
you've already received what you wanted for you're no longer
-
talking to God anymore, and God is just there. The
-
Holy Spirit is just ministering to men and say, perhaps
-
this is something that you would feel now you put
-
yourself in the shoes. You know, I'm omnipresent, I'm there
-
all the time. But yet when people receive their breakthrough,
-
more often than not, they shut the door to God.
-
That's just something that I just wanted to just share
-
with you. It's not about you actually fulfiling what you
-
need to do, which is to help them urben change
-
a dire. It's about you being there, and it's about
-
your heart being stirred to do the right thing. And
-
I pray for all of us this morning. Do not
-
feel that maybe because God has called you to a
-
certain someone and you reach that place and you see,
-
oh there's already someone, there is already done. It doesn't
-
mean that you waste your time because God is not
-
in there for you and your actions towards the thing
-
that needs help. God is in there for your heart.
-
God is saying, will you obey, will you obey me?
-
Will you bring the isaac up to the altar to
-
be sacrificed. Amen? And a lot of us needs our
-
heart to revive. And I pray that this message is
-
in time for the CNY that is about to happen. Yeah,
-
because this is the time. More often than not, this
-
is where you need bondness because many friends and family
-
out there needs to hear the gospel. Amen. And you
-
can't do so without the baldness in your heart. So
-
I pray that this for touch the inner parts of
-
your heart this morning, and I pray that from a title,
-
it will become a cry, your cry revive our hearts
-
all on a call to revival. A call to a
-
heart revival is a subtitle or a revival of the heart.
-
Can I have the next slight? Very quickly? Got to
-
show you a picture of what perhaps many young people
-
think revival look like. Although I would kind of understand.
-
But we see these in a Daylor Swift concert as well.
-
We say, we see this in a K pop concert
-
as well. We see this in I tell you what.
-
Sometimes if you want to know what Christianity looks like
-
or sounds like, go to and feel Yeah, go to
-
Liverpool Football Stadium. I tell you what. All hands lifted up,
-
scarves all in the air, right, I tell you what,
-
And worshiping, worshiping, you'll never walk alone. That's like a cathedularity.
-
You know, you go over there and it's nothing special.
-
But look at that hearts cry out? Are they really
-
worshiping God? There? Yeah? Maybe perhaps? But I saw something
-
that kind of wrote recently on his Facebook. If you
-
haven't been following him, show me a young person worshiping
-
God in the church service. I am unimpressed because it's
-
more important than what that person, what the young person
-
does from Monday to Friday, because what's the point. Because
-
I tell you what this where you are right now,
-
it says a tone. Don't get me wrong, don't go
-
use this example there and say it. Come to church, actually,
-
don't need to raise u pans on, don't need to
-
worship God, just don't come. Don't come at all. Now.
-
It sets a tone, right, But imagine if you are
-
set apart to God, you're you're you're smiling like the
-
little girl that the girl that is smiling, or mouth
-
open shouting there the lungs out right in God. And
-
the next moment you go back home and you forget
-
about who you are, and you're rute to your parents,
-
You're rute to your children, not just during the parents
-
are parents sure' as well? Rude to one another? You're
-
rude to the waiter. You didn't say thank you to
-
the waiter. Is this signs that, hey, this is a
-
transformed heart or is the hard man to be revived
-
only on Sunday alone. If that's the case, you would
-
die because the heart needs to continue beating for the
-
rest of your life until there's no more breath. Amen.
-
Now I'm going to show you in that picture and
-
h this may not mean a lot to you many
-
of you here, but it means a lot to me.
-
Next light, how many of you know who? These two
-
young gentlemen are same age, one much taller than the other.
-
One is first the mess child, the one in green.
-
That's Nathan Nathan Chung. I call him the smallest uncle
-
that I know. He's also a walking g I found out.
-
The other one is Timmy. Sounds familiar Timmy, Megan and
-
uh Sylvia works for Timmy. Right. And then the work
-
that they're doing over there is amazing special and this
-
organization is named after Buster Elvin's eldest child. Now, let
-
me demonstrate to you how he was chairing so he
-
what they're doing there is they're chairing day like what
-
Rachelle did, amazing job, but this is what he did morning,
-
and welcome to Exten's. Uh, this is time to worship God.
-
Let's lift up a shot of praise and worship him. Okay,
-
so you may look at that and you go like
-
what in the world, But if you know he's background
-
him to stand in that position, for him to put
-
that mic to his mouth, that is a revived hut
-
a man, a boy that used to cost so much.
-
Hevo at home. For some of you who may not
-
know this TM is diagnosed, what is the exact diagnosis?
-
Do you know, Megan? Sorry? Sorry, s T one SD
-
one is part of the autism spectrum. Yeah, is it
-
quite mal Yeah? But many of you, Megan may not
-
know timmy brighter. You know. But when I first knew Play,
-
I knew that they was struggling. They had a lot
-
of struggles. Another child that I don't have a picture
-
over here is Jerome. Jerome I have the privilege to
-
teach him piano, and tell you what many of us
-
would give. I felt like giving up because he can't count.
-
Now he can count, but he just doesn't want to
-
because he can distracted by. There was one time I
-
was just teaching him, teaching him, teaching him, and then
-
an end start crawling and he was like He literally
-
got up his seat and followed the end. I was like, you, who,
-
what are you doing? I got to catch this end.
-
But now he's playing. In the mighty name of Jesus,
-
he's playing. He tells me, Then I want to serve
-
on extreme when I hear these stories as compared to
-
the picture prior, because perhaps the picture prior is Yeah,
-
I'm not denying that lives are changed, But when I
-
hear these stories, it gives me a greater purpose of
-
the reason why I'm doing what I'm doing. Nathan thirteen
-
years old about to hit the growth spurt very soon,
-
I believe if he follows after past the man. But Nathan,
-
Nathan memorizes thirty five Bible verses. How many of you
-
here can memorize one? Don't put our hands thirty five
-
Bible versus. Nathan reads a lot. The team asked me,
-
who shall we put up the chair for the upcoming extines?
-
Should we get Laisha? Nothing about Elias, great great chairer.
-
You know everyone knows that good CG Raced up very well,
-
and Jordan looked at me and asked, who are the
-
older ones that we would like to put up the chair?
-
Give me names in this list? None of them? None
-
of them. Body is two. I look at that. I say,
-
since XPJ is hosting this, can we consider some of
-
the teenagers from XPJ. But what's the dad. We don't
-
have anyone that is enthusiastic and able to carry the service.
-
I say, what do you mean? Because Jesus wrote in
-
on a donkey. Because Jesus, although he was gone, when
-
you walk past him, you won't even recognize that that
-
is him. Here's nothing. He has no features that a
-
woman will go like wow. No scripture says that you
-
may think that I'm doing bleashem me. No, he says
-
in scripture, nothing to be desired of. Jesus was a
-
normal man. So I told the team just put them on.
-
Sometimes as leaders, as parents, we're just going to do
-
the right thing. I start the probleming my heart or
-
his spirit spring. Put this two young gentlemen on, and
-
I say, go for it. And it did so well.
-
Praise the Lord. Amen. There was Nathan's first time praying
-
for Jerusalem loud in using a mic. If we don't
-
give them the opportunity, if we don't give ourselves the opportunity,
-
we will never be able to experience the fullness of
-
what God has insolved us. Amen. Some of us here,
-
seated in this place, needs your hearts revived. All right,
-
some of us seated here in this place, Perhaps you
-
are at ninety nine percent blockage already. Now, I'm not
-
talking about your physical heart yet, because if so you are,
-
please go and get yourself checked. Okay, don't play a fool,
-
don't play a fool. But some of us is spiritually.
-
We are in a place where we are in dire
-
need of heart surgery. I'm not going to ask you
-
to lift up your hands. I'm not gonna do that
-
this morning. But those of you, you know, when we pray,
-
we say to those of you who believe, say, amen,
-
what does that mean? It means that you have faith
-
in Christ Jesus. You believe that He is the author
-
and perfector of your faith. I want to ask all
-
of you this question this morning. Let me linger in
-
your heart before I move on. What was that feeling
-
when you first accepted Jesus Christ in your hearts? What
-
was that first love experience that you had when he
-
took you out of that Marie Clay, you give glory
-
to God. You put it on your Instagram, you put
-
it on your social media posts, and you go like, God,
-
you took me out. Now, question is that man just
-
for social media or do you really mean it? Do
-
you really mean it for the bottom of your hearts,
-
because some of us here now I'm just sensing it
-
in my heart because it happened to me as well.
-
You have lost a little bit of this. That spark
-
that once got you so excited to come to church,
-
now it's being replaced by something else. The spark that
-
got you so really excited to have worship nights with
-
your family now is replaced by something else. So friends
-
and family, very livingly. I just want to encourage all
-
of us here that if you need CPR, I pray
-
that this message gives you CPR. All right. Christ prioritizes,
-
prioritize in your life, brings about revival CPR all right. Next,
-
it's like for you this morning, change lives now. The
-
church exists for change lives now. I want to just
-
quickly recap what we went through as leaders in the
-
ex Leaders Conference retreat pas the canev share with us
-
that you know what. There was a question that came up,
-
and uh, you should ask my wife this about me.
-
And I really really love the topic of end Times.
-
I love it. I like to you know, my name
-
is Daniel, So the last seven chapters of Daniel, it's
-
all about end Times. Yeah, it points back to revelation.
-
I like to do study, book study. I like to
-
do so many things, you know, like sometimes I want
-
a question like why can't we hear more about this
-
in church? True enough, someone from the crowd asked the
-
question of us and bus. His response was this, there's
-
knowing about the end times change who you are today.
-
You may be equipped with the doctrine, Yeah, but does
-
it actually change the way you live? Because in X
-
there is a space, there's a time for that. Go
-
and sign up for X class. Pus I met. There's
-
a good job at the Book of Revelations and study
-
because if you really want to know, if you really
-
want to go deeper in end Times, sign up for
-
the cost six weeks. Go for it. If you want
-
to know more about the Book of XTS, sign up
-
for the course. It's right there. Do not say that
-
we are not offering this to you. We are, but
-
when you come to church in the Sunday morning, we
-
are interested in your lives being changed. It means we
-
are interested in seeing that. I tell you what, if
-
you leave this place, if your life is changed a little,
-
even a little bit, that's our objective. Yeah, and that's
-
why you rarely hear. You rarely hear. And it's a
-
mandate given to the speakers. Yeah, speak about change lives.
-
That's church. We all celebrate one another where we see
-
someone going through their break through. We celebrate because we
-
see change lives. Amen, What else are we after the
-
the next light? We grow small, to grow big, only
-
to be sent out again and again and again. I
-
remember when I was in Monash as a young Kemper student.
-
I got so close to my homies right and I
-
just didn't want to leave the homes. And whenever my
-
home leaders speak about multiplication, I often cringe. Again. Man,
-
I just got to know one another and then now
-
multiply again. I couldn't understand. I couldn't comprehend it. But
-
now as I grow up a little bit more and
-
I'm mature a little bit more, I realized that perhaps
-
in this life is not just about us. The world
-
doesn't revolve around us. I love being in company of
-
friends and family, but we don't have to always be
-
in the same homes, because what's the purpose of homes.
-
We wouldn't be where we are this morning if we
-
didn't grow small. We wouldn't see share on the keyboard,
-
if we didn't grow small to be sent out again
-
and again and again. This is some context for you.
-
I'll go straight into it. Okay, let's go next to
-
me next night. Some definitions. This is from the Harvard
-
Dictionary of the word revive. Yeah. Oxford Dictionary, Harvard Dictionary.
-
I don't think that exist. Welcome, come, come, you see
-
it all right? It says to become or to make
-
somebody or something become conscious or healthy and strong again.
-
How many do you like to do that this morning? Yeah?
-
How many like to be healthy in this place? Yeah?
-
Something to make something start being used or done again?
-
How many of you is something in your house that
-
hasn't been used in a long time? Fenty? Rachelle is
-
so loud because I'm a horder. She's a trower. One day,
-
one day, I tell you, Rachelle, one day you won't
-
realize it. But one day that screw will be very
-
useful to you. Okay, very useful. Right, that light bumb
-
that is not working anymore? One day, one day, one
-
day it will be used. This is according to the
-
Oxford Dictionary. Right, let's let's go through some some Greek
-
or some Hebrew. Let's go next light very quickly. Revive
-
in Hebrew is chaia. Right, it means too sorry, I've
-
got some Chinese exxon O there chaia, but I'm pretty
-
sure it's not chaia something else. But it means to
-
bring back to life, to restore. It implies that revival
-
is not creating something new, and repeat, revival is not
-
creating something new because some of us look at the
-
word revival and they go like wow, this word is
-
too big for me, because I I am not ready
-
for something new in my life. So it implies the
-
revival it is not creating something new, about bringing life
-
back to something that was once alife. You mean that
-
has become weak, sick, or spiritually dead. The relationship that
-
you had, we've got once was a life. Now it's
-
starting to become a little weak. Because initially you were
-
bringing this everywhere you go and now because it weighs
-
an extra europe in trees CAGs, there's even right way
-
that much. Now it becomes an ornament in your house.
-
You no longer carrying it around because it's a hassle.
-
Now do you still love God? Yes, you claim that
-
you still love him, But now things are starting to
-
show it has become a little bit weak, some of
-
us even sick. Oh I need a break. I need
-
a break from God. I need MC from God. God.
-
Can you issue Angel, Gabriel? Can you issue me empsy
-
from God? I need three days to recover. I don't
-
want to be in the presence of God for three
-
days or even though it's spiritually dead. Let's go to
-
some great next light, I believe, and to recover life
-
or to live again. I shall not attempt to pronounce
-
the second one also sounds like anazo, but there's a
-
pyro behind there. That's why it's to rekindle, pyro right,
-
to rekindle, to stir up or to fan into flame.
-
How many of you barbecue before? Yeah? Fire stutter? Who's
-
good at stutting fires? Yeah? Rogers, good at stutting fire?
-
No rogers. I shall not tell the story of what
-
happened a few years ago. So funny like you? How funny? Oh,
-
my goodness? Should I tell it? Just? Should I? Should
-
I tell it? I? No? It's really yeah, Billy? Should
-
I tell it? No? Just say if you're the blushes,
-
it's okay, okay? Fire startter? You know you you want
-
to start a fire. You want to start a fire.
-
What do you have to do? Right? Put the fire? Startter?
-
Put in the cold any expatience, but you have to
-
fan it. And you can't find it too heart either.
-
There's an angle to fan in the flame. Some of
-
us here rekindle. Wow, rekindle more often used in love. Right.
-
This couple needs to rEFInd their love, need to rekindle
-
their love for one another. There's a spark that comes
-
into their eyes again. Another word for revival also means cooling,
-
a refreshing touch from the lord or revival. Amen. Just
-
giving you some some meanings of the word revival before
-
we go into it. Palms eighty five six. It's not
-
in a slight bay. It says, will you not revive
-
us again? That your people may rejoice in you? Palms
-
eighty five you're taking notes Somes eighty five six. You'll
-
notice that revival is requested. It's a request. Yeah, some
-
of us here, Perhaps you have not experienced your passion
-
being stood up again, because maybe let me just give
-
you're an argument. Maybe you are seated there and you're
-
waiting for God to do something for you. Maybe you're saying,
-
is why we haven't experienced revival yet? A buzzard, dan,
-
why are some of the chairs still empty? Now? Question
-
back to you by the Holy Spirit is what the
-
Holy Spirit is prompting me? Did you ask for it? Now?
-
First question? Do you ask? Second question, did you do
-
anything about it? Did you do anything about it? Revival
-
in Psalms eighty five six was requested by God's people?
-
And what is the result? It results in? Joy? Amen.
-
I don't know if actually you can put that verse
-
ut very quickly. It says, word you not revive us again,
-
that your people may rejoice in you your results, enjoy.
-
It also implies that perhaps your previous life and whatever
-
that you have lived has now faded away, right because
-
you're being revived from what you used to do. You
-
used to go into every meeting with a sour face,
-
but now because you ask God, God, give me a
-
face that's not sour. And now you enter to the
-
ind his course, thanksgiving, and be praised wherever you go,
-
all the abundance of your heart. And you're now smiling
-
and now joy. It just feels every part of the
-
room and now that life that you once used to
-
live is now gone because you're not revived from Amen,
-
but not over there. It starts with a request, so
-
stop sitting around waiting for God to revive you requests.
-
Let your requests be made known to God Amen. Psums
-
is a book that very often use the word revive. Yeah,
-
revive me, oh Lord, according to your word. Revive me
-
in your ways, revive me in your righteousness. Actually, I'm
-
not sure if there's a slight for that, but if
-
there is, then you can put it on. I say
-
fifty seven and fifteen. I'm just going to give you
-
some verses this morning. For that says the high and
-
lofty one who inhabit eternity, whose name is holy. I
-
dwell in the pigh and holy place with him who
-
has a contract and humble spirit. To revive the spirit
-
of the humble, to revive the hearts of the contract
-
ones Luke fifteen twenty four. For this is my son
-
was there, and it's alive again. He was lost and
-
is found alive again, alive again. I'm just gonna take
-
a break now to pray finding the name of Jesus
-
before we go on to the mid of this morning's message,
-
which is just a simple six point structure. Lord, I
-
pray that right now in the name of Jesus, those
-
a few those I said, I see that in this
-
room this morning, I pray that something begins to stir
-
in their hearts there will result in them crying out
-
to you, Lord. Revive my heart this morning. Revive my
-
heart for your people. Revive my heart for my family.
-
Revive my heart that the next moment I travel back
-
to wherever I'm going, God, if there is an opportunity,
-
If there is an opportunity, lo God to present or
-
to share the good news. May my lips not remain silent.
-
May my lips open up with the bonus that comes
-
from You God, and may you receive all the glory. Amen. Next,
-
like the first point for you this morning is that
-
revive will begins with the heart. Amen. Revival begins with
-
the heart. Can I have here a good Amen? Ephesians
-
one eighteen. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that
-
you may know what is the hope of His calling,
-
what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance
-
in the Saints. As I was struggling in the past
-
week to speak, this message came to me because a
-
lot of us sometimes we choose not to speak. But
-
when the ability to speak was taken away from me,
-
I understood. I understood that whatever God has given to us,
-
we have to put it into practice, we have to
-
put it into good use. Amen. The eyes of your heart,
-
says another version Ephesians one, eighteen years v version says,
-
the eyes of your heart and enlightened. It means your
-
hearts now light up again, that you may know what
-
is the hope, because if your hearts are dark, you
-
may not know the hope in which He has caught you. Too.
-
You're not seeing, you're not opening up your eyes. And
-
sometimes you can see your eyes, but you're not seeing
-
your heart. And that's why you do not know or
-
you do not know that at the end of the
-
road there is a glorious inheritance that is waiting away.
-
So I was here, what's the point I share the
-
good news to my uncle ten thousand times he asked
-
me to go a fly. Guy. What's the point. Now,
-
It's not about Remember, it's not about action, It's about
-
your heart. God sees the heart, He sees the willingness
-
to even open your mouth, because did you not know
-
these friends and family. It is not you who saves. Amen.
-
It's not you who saves. If that person does not
-
accept Jesus, it is not on you, because it's the
-
Holy Spirit that convicts. But it's you who opens the door. Amen.
-
But one verse before it says this that the God
-
of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may
-
give you the spirit of wisdom and of all revelation
-
in the knowledge of him. Now, Paul is the one
-
who wrote the Book of Phssions, and he is writing
-
to the believers. Yeah. He is not writing to those
-
that are not in the faith follow us of the way.
-
He is writing to those that miss all of us,
-
those of you who believe. Amen. Therefore this is important. Yeah.
-
You know when Paul writes, you know it's important. He
-
writes with no filter. Yeah. And in this particle context,
-
he is not praying for the conversion of Sinus. Paul
-
was not praying for the conversion of Sinus. He was
-
praying for what he was praying for, what is on
-
the slide. He was praying for the awakening of the saints.
-
That means, in this point of time, there was a
-
dying and urgent need for the saints to be awakened.
-
Now it brings a little bit more context. Right, Why
-
is it that sometimes when we walk past someone in need,
-
we do not act? Do we see? We saw that
-
personally need? Why is it that we need not act?
-
Because perhaps in our hearts we are asleep. We're not
-
even aware of what's happening. We're not opening our eyes
-
of our hearts to understand what's happening. So therefore we
-
need to wake up. All right, believe us we need.
-
It's time. It's time to wake up. Yeah, it's time
-
to wake up. Wherever there we are, it's time to
-
get up again. I know how many of you still
-
still praying and still asking God, God, please give me
-
more meat. God is saying, do do and I will
-
reward you with even more more than you can even
-
ask or imagine. But do wake up, Daniel, wake up
-
enough next light, Because although it is God's desire that
-
all are safe, Amen, is this that desire that all
-
are saved and come to the saving grace of knowledge
-
of Jesus Christ. That is God's part. Yeah, God desires
-
all to be safe, and it's for us to accept
-
him or not. But the second part over there is
-
important for all of us. It is our part to play.
-
Is awakening of the saints. And what does the saints mean.
-
It means the laborers, Amen, the laborers to be sent out.
-
Matthew nine thirty five to thirty eighth says this. Then
-
Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in
-
their synagogue, reaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing
-
every sickness and every disease among the people. But when
-
he saw the multitudes, he was more compassion for them,
-
because they were very and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.
-
That he said to his disciples, the harvest truly is plentiful,
-
but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of
-
harvest send out laborers into his harvest, into his harvest.
-
The phrase the eye of your understanding in Greek it
-
means the eyes of the heart. I'm going back to
-
Ephesians one eighteen. The eyes of your understanding. It means
-
the eyes of your heart, which can tell us something
-
very profound. Yeah, he tells something very profund. I think
-
it's in the next like, Yeah, you can have physical
-
sight but be spiritually blind. You can have doctrine. Many
-
of you know that Jesus is coming back again, but
-
yet you lack the revelation you made at then church,
-
but yet fail to see Jesus. This really hurts me
-
sometimes because I prayed and I and it's one of
-
my prayer, break my heart for what breaks yours, and
-
try to say that prayer as much as I can,
-
because I just asked myself, you know, what would Jesus
-
do in this place? People used to carry their sacrifices
-
to church. People used to bring by then they reach church,
-
they're all sweaty. But yet now it becomes so easy
-
because we can just come to church and revel Store
-
sells a Bible, and we can acquire State Scripture from
-
rail store without having to brave the jam all the
-
way to Salvation bookstore. This it still exists. We go
-
around having the form of Godliness, but yet we deny
-
its power. It's just a form that we have, and
-
it hurts we no longer operate by the giftings of
-
the Holy Spirit. We no longer pray, we no longer
-
seek the Lord. It hurts. It hurts me sometimes whenever
-
I go through it myself and I can just look
-
around and and just my pray is that, Lord, forgive them,
-
forgive me, forgive me, for I really do not know
-
what I'm doing. Reveal more to me, revive my heart. Lord,
-
allow me to see again what you want me to see,
-
because when we do that, we will start to realize that, hey,
-
there's so much more. It's tough for us. Amen, there's
-
so much stop more, it's tough for us. Next night,
-
very quickly. This was the first that I said earlier.
-
Let's keep this. Revival starts when God reopens the eyes
-
of the heart, so we remember who he is, what
-
he has done, and why we even fell in love
-
with him in the first place. Yeah, I'm not sure.
-
Married couples here, when you look at one another in
-
the eye, are you reminded? You really start to look
-
at Rachel. Ay, Hello, that's my wife. A joky, just jokey.
-
You look at one another again, and do we realize, Hey,
-
this is the person that you were catting for then
-
your entire life, you know, and now just because she's
-
your wife, you no longer have to wash the clothes,
-
you no longer to do the dishes. You no longer
-
have to get her flowers on Valentine's Day, Yeah, I didn't.
-
I was showing Rachelle a picture of a bouquet of
-
a Franklin takeable, so I was like, I'll much prefer that. Ah,
-
Praise the Lord. Why why we fell in love with
-
God in the first place. I pray that everyone in
-
this room your eyes will be open again and you'll
-
leave this place knowing that, Hey, I tell you what.
-
God took me out of my weekly. He took me out,
-
he picked me up, He turned my life around. I
-
used to struggle. I used to have no money, but
-
yet now I am filled with money. Praise the Lord.
-
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. You're filled with money now,
-
so much in your bank account. Now it gets harder
-
to give. It gets hard to take out that one gift.
-
But when you were lacking at the time, when you
-
will only had two ring it in your wallet, so
-
easy to give to ring it? Why because you are
-
nothing mhm. But now when you have everything. That's where
-
God touches you. Will you give? It's not about whether
-
God needs it, you know? And many of us like
-
to liken it to money, and and and and say, oh,
-
why the church are we talk about money? Because money
-
touches you. That's why we speak about money. I'm not
-
going to shy away from the fact. Lea's time. I
-
used to like, you know what, Yeah, I'm just talking
-
about that. Learn I'm talking about your time. No, I'm
-
talking about your money. It's not that the church needs it. Yeah,
-
it's not that God needs it. It's about whether you
-
are willing to give. Now, don't even talk about exterercial life.
-
Don't even talk about extras. But you've got most of your
-
heart to give to some orphanage. Will you Nothing to
-
do with exchers, nothing to do with me, But will you?
-
Will you give? That's why in the only church, in
-
the first church, nobody had any lack. Nobody had any lack.
-
Why in the first place, my prayer again this morning
-
opened the eyes of your heart next night, very quickly.
-
Second thing I have for you is revival. Is God
-
reviving the lordly. Now it's not just our hearts need
-
to be revived. We also need to understand who which
-
prayer gets answered, which posture of the heart gets answered,
-
Because you may recite a prayer, you may ask God
-
for something, but God sees the depths of your heart.
-
And if your heart is one that is of a
-
very proud nature, then perhaps that's why your prayers doesn't
-
get answered. Because revive it's got reviving the lowly, not
-
the proud. Let's go to the scripture next verse, Isaiah
-
fifty seven fifteen. I read this very quickly earlier. I
-
think it's the next light TV. He's going to zoom
-
in into the last two sentences with him who has
-
a contract in humble spirit to revive the spirit of
-
the humble and to revive the heart of the contract once.
-
What does that even mean? It means that God does
-
not revive the self sufficient God does not. I don't
-
know if this was fake news or fake tweet or
-
something like that, but I saw recently Elon must tweet
-
something he did? It was it really him? Yeah? And
-
some of you who follow Elon masks, you know what
-
he is? It still called tweet or is it called
-
x he xd something? Uh? He says something along the
-
lines if no matter how much money I have, I
-
can't find happiness. Wow. Because if you know Elon mass
-
he was actually of the opinion that money can do
-
everything everything. You know. You know, he's upbringing and whatnot.
-
He came from a really self self brought up background
-
and then now he's one of the richest I think,
-
in fact, he is the richest man in the world.
-
And he shed this on his biggest platform. He said, money,
-
come buy and come by happiness and he was lonely.
-
He revised the lonely. I experienced this, uh, personally. I
-
experienced this very personally and in a very personal way
-
because the there was a period of time in my
-
life where I felt that I was climbing the career letter.
-
You know, I was doing well in my work, and
-
I still had that prayer. God opened my eyes to
-
see those that needs you break my heart for what
-
breaks yours. But nothing happens but the moment I lost
-
my dad, and I will say that place of really
-
brokenness and sadness, God started to open my eyes towards
-
those who perhaps are struggling or going through loss themselves
-
as well. It wasn't until I experienced loss that I
-
knew what it really felt like and sometimes God places
-
is true that I want to encourage all of you,
-
you know, especially when you're going through a tough time
-
in your life. Do not think that that is because
-
God has forsaken you. He's still there, imen, He's still
-
there no matter what happens. But it makes a little
-
bit more sense three four months down the road why
-
you had to go through what you're going through, Because actually,
-
if you think about it now, for all of us
-
who believers, experiencing laws is not a sad thing for
-
the person. The person is sparting. If Jesus up there
-
in heaven, I'm pretty sure my dad doesn't want to
-
come back here, man, I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty sure
-
my dad doesn't want to come back to this place
-
that is John's that I don't. I don't think sola
-
right if you give them a second chance. Hey, you
-
want to come back to Blanet Earth? Hello? No? Thanks, Okay,
-
I'm good, I'm good. Why I am so? I don't
-
think it's very good, jump or very mean of our
-
God to take someone home when it's their time. But
-
some we feel that way because we are the one
-
that is hurting. We are the one that is in sorrow.
-
We are the one that is in pain. But yet,
-
if we see it from a different perspective, God allowed
-
that to happen, took him up by his grace and
-
his mercy, and now he's having a good time up there.
-
But yet he's putting you through this season because someone
-
else is going through something. Someone else is about to
-
lose your father, and the only person that someone else
-
could listen to it is you. And sometimes we say, God,
-
please please let that happen to a person a down
-
the street. Don't let that happen to me. I want
-
to outlive my parent. You know, sometimes we say these
-
kind of things and we don't know what we're saying.
-
So God, let's not say that. He doesn't revive those
-
who say, I'm fine spiritually. How many if you feel
-
that you're fine spiritually, I'm fine. God, Yeah, I've read
-
the Bible three times now, I can memorize thirty five
-
five b B verses. I'm fine. I'm good, not Church now,
-
I'm good. I'm good. I can recite you cannot. I
-
can recite you know, the entire genealogy of from Adam
-
and do Jesus. I can't. You cannot the entire two
-
Chapter one. I can, I can memorize.
-
Can.
-
I'm fine, Yeah, you can be fine. God will say,
-
you take that fine, you take that genealogy and you
-
and you keep it. But God will revive those that
-
is whispering, whispering, you know, too afraid, too afraid to
-
speak out loud because perhaps people look at at them funny,
-
but in their hearts they're going, God, I don't know.
-
I don't know how to be a good husband anymore.
-
I tried everything. I don't know how to be a
-
good dad anymore. I don't know how to be a
-
good Christian. I don't know how to be your child.
-
Because nothing of me resembles you God, nothing of me
-
resembles who you are. You know, those are the people
-
that God will revive. Those are the ones Lord, something
-
in me has gone quiet. Holy Spirit will come and
-
feel you. He'll come and encourage you, and the eyes
-
of your understanding, your heart will begin to open again,
-
and you will now see what you have left to
-
see and enjoy. Will feel your heart Amen, next, Light
-
revival is not God making strong Christians stronger. Yeah, yeah,
-
built from a position of strength. That's the term that
-
the world uses nowadays, right, But that's not what revives
-
about you know, the stronger you are, the more He
-
wouldn't be with you. The stronger you feel you are
-
no longer need to depend on him anymore. It's about
-
God breeding life into weary, bruised and honest hearts. You know,
-
I had a revelation one day that if your life
-
is all well, perhaps you're not really living the fullness
-
of His glory. If someone asks you, Rachelle, how can
-
I pray for you this morning? And you answer to
-
that person and say, are all good? Life's good? Man,
-
l G. Buy me a fridge. That's all I need.
-
But it's time to start considering that because scripture says
-
those that desire to live a godly Christian life will
-
go to persecution. So if you have nothing to be
-
prayed for, are you leaving a godly Christian life? Are
-
you living a life that is what God has meant
-
for you to live? Not talking to just the young
-
people here, I'm talking to all of you, full of experience,
-
full of knowledge. Are we living that life? You may
-
think that, Oh I tell you what, I'm eighty one
-
already this year. I'm eighty one ready. Hello, Abraham God
-
Isaac at eighty okay, one hundred, got the prophecy at eighty.
-
If to you you're wondering or perhaps this is not
-
this is not for me. I'm done. I'm waiting for
-
Jesus taking me home. There's the reason why she's says
-
that't taken you home yet. That's why you're here. You're
-
still here. God brave life into those that are weary,
-
those in this place that you are in a place
-
of desperation. The name of Jesus made the breath of
-
God be upon you this morning, next light. Revival also
-
restores the voice of the heart. Amen. So you start
-
from a place where it's a cry. You don't go
-
to a place where you realize that, hey, I tell
-
you what. It's not about being prideful. It's not even
-
about being fine. It's not even about being good. It's
-
about understanding that it is from a position of humility
-
that God revives you, and that heart that now is
-
unable to speak, all this wild now gains its police
-
once again. That's what revival does. So I'm giving you pointers.
-
You know by step if you're going to revival, this
-
is the symptoms of what you're facing, because if you
-
are a revived person, you can't help but speak. I
-
can't help. I can't wait to go back to the
-
same chicken rice store to order my Gui bai Hey,
-
God charge you fun God on the day. Because I
-
went for a tournament and I've lost all of my games.
-
The only thing I wanted to do was to eat
-
my chicken rice after that, in silence and alone. But
-
I enjoyed it very much. Revival restores, restores the voice
-
of the heart. Next light very quickly, Let you twelve
-
to be four, very very famous verse. For out of
-
the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. For out
-
of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. When
-
the heart is alive, praise flows naturally. Amen. When the
-
heart is revived, praise flows naturally. You can't help but pray,
-
praise God. You can't help to come up to prayer
-
service and to share your test of money because God
-
is good. Amen. And if God can do it for me,
-
he can do it for you too. Amen. Praise the Lord.
-
He can and he will because I experienced him taking
-
me out from the Marie Clay, a place of no hope,
-
no future, desperation, and he transformed into a place where
-
now I have a hope in the future. Now I
-
can't wait to share this with you because I know
-
that God has the same in stuff for you. A
-
revived hard will do that. Now, am I saying all
-
of you are not revived? No, all of us need
-
more of God. Amen. That's why, that's why we are
-
focusing on revival of this year. It's not just about
-
the big cathedrals. You know. I went to Korea. I
-
saw the harps and I got a whoa. This is revival, right, No,
-
it's not. It's about the change lives. It's about that.
-
It's about that young chap saying to the Ajuma Ajuma,
-
I say you go up there with the beast, vers
-
you or not? I hold it off for you. No,
-
it's about dead, right, It's about the young gent that
-
is on the train station getting up offering your seat
-
to a pregnant woman. It's about dead because what's the
-
point singing all praise to Christ the King in church,
-
and then after that in the in the in the
-
in the kt M, it's all praise to my phone
-
and my legs. A pregnant woman comes in and you're
-
in you're not Jesus, Why should I give you the seat?
-
If Jesus walks in the room, I will gladly give
-
up my seat for Jesus. Are you sure, Because at
-
the rate you are going, you may not even recognize
-
that that is Jesus. He's the least of least. You know,
-
he's the he's the he's the last. He's he hears
-
the beginning, but he's also the last seas of the first.
-
He's the last. He's everywhere. And if you can't even
-
enjoy God in his fullness, how will you recognize him
-
when he comes in with rags, saddled with with with
-
cloth that nobody desires of? How would you even recognize him?
-
Because Jesus recognizes even the you know, was he was walking?
-
He was walking and Sally, who touched me? So many
-
people here, Jesus, which one you're talking about? He recognized
-
that one person that was desperate. Yeah, the rest touching him?
-
Are they not desperate? Well? He recognized that one, and
-
that person receives hur revival, amen, praise, food sactually testimony
-
all those friends and family. Are you in the third
-
state of revival? Prayer becomes desperate and real when Rachel
-
and issues the call for the altar to come up?
-
Is your mind again or the steps coming down the
-
Legacy studios, Because I tell you what, if I was
-
seated up there, I'm not pointing to anyone, Okay, in
-
case your thing, I am. But if I was sitting
-
up seated up there, and I rewind the clock to
-
June twenty twenty twenty five, I will be running down
-
the steps. Of course, I'm desperate, desperate for God to
-
heal my dad. If your SPM result is coming up
-
tomorrow and you know you messed up, you will come
-
up here for prayer no matter what. Trust me, I've
-
seen enough. I've seen enough to know that it's desperation
-
that brings us forwards. But did you know that revival
-
means that you are always desperate for God. You're always
-
desperate for God to move in your life wherever you are.
-
You're desperate for the opportunity to speak for God. Of
-
the abundance of the heart. The month will speak next,
-
like very quickly when the heart is now. So this
-
is the opposite. Worship becomes silent, faith becomes private, and
-
some smart alect will caote scriptures saying, I tell you
-
what must the dan Whatever I do in secret, Lord
-
will reward publicly. So therefore my faith also must be
-
in secret. You know what this faith becomes private means
-
to me? Yeah, it is. It means right when you're
-
asked who is Jesus, and I don't know how many
-
you will catch the reference, he'll say, I do not know.
-
You really do not know. You have been fooling him
-
all this while who am I talking about? And I
-
know I don't know you all know this? Right? Who's Jesus?
-
H But I just saw you with him yesterday, but
-
I don't know who this person is. That is faith
-
in private, because in private, when you are with Jesus,
-
you'll be said, Jesus, if that's the case, right, don't
-
just wash my feet, wash from here to toe, please
-
wash me, because initially you started by saying, now, don't
-
touch me, don't touch me. God, You're God all mighty.
-
You know why would I even want you to wash
-
my feet? I don't about better. But then faith becomes
-
private means you are only worshiping God in private, where
-
you should. But out of the abundance of the heart,
-
evil show. A revived faith will show in public. Amen. Faith,
-
exercise it, and then bonus starts to disappear. This is
-
the one boness starts to disappear. Now you wonder why
-
or why when you're faced with an opportunity to share
-
the gospel, nothing comes out from your mouth because I
-
tell you what. The thing that comes up is not
-
a simple task. You know, it requires boldness and it
-
will touch on that very quickly. Let's go next, like,
-
when was the last time we use social platforms to
-
give glory to God? This is some reflection for us.
-
What is stopping us from doing? So? Yeah, my Instagram recap?
-
What was it? But chet GBT recap? I don't know what.
-
There was something, There was a there was a trend
-
going around that I didn't really agree with that if
-
you did it, it's okay, but it's fine because you're
-
putting your pictures online and then they show you the
-
decent net. So I just without uploading my picture and
-
I said that, hey, do a recap of me. The
-
recap that I got was cats Liverpool, how to surf,
-
how to return, nothing about Jesus what that means. I
-
didn't ask JGBT about versus la. I did actually sometimes,
-
but not enough fler. I ask him more about cats.
-
It is ingesting cat fur bed for health. Yeah, what's
-
stopping us from doing so? Next weight the ending rason,
-
fourth stage or revival revived. Hearts cannot stay silent, Non
-
stopped talking on none stopped talking. Let's go X for
-
eighteen to twenty. This is Peter and John. He was arrested,
-
threatened and commanded to stop. To speak of Jesus is
-
the context? Yeah? Do I have the verse on the slight?
-
Next four eighteen twenty. So they called them and commanded
-
them not to speak at all, nor teach in the
-
name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said
-
to them, whatever it is right in the sight of
-
God to listen to you more than to God, you judge,
-
For we cannot but speak the things which we have
-
seen and heard. We cannot but speak the things we
-
have seen and heard. Not this very carefully. They did
-
not say we have studied. They did not say we
-
have trained. That means essentially coming to church, receiving the gospel,
-
studied about it, read about it, train. No, they say
-
it in which things that they have seen. Now, friends,
-
and let me ask you a question this morning. Have
-
you seen or heard of God's goodness in your life?
-
Just spending across have you seen or heard about God's
-
goodness in your life but in life of artists? Because
-
I'm pretty sure people have been sharing. So please do
-
not say I have not heard that. We cannot but speak.
-
You remember they were threatener it. If you do not
-
stop speaking her, you might be in prisoned, even worse die. Yeah, next, like, yeah,
-
just say that next night. Revival produces witnesses, not just knowledge.
-
How many of you here filled with knowledge? So it's
-
not just knowledge that you get when you come to church.
-
It's not just knowledge when you get when you will
-
do your quiet time. No, it produces witness if you
-
are revived. Fourth stage and revival. These were men whose
-
hearts had been broken by failure, restored by the resurrection,
-
and filled by the Holy Spirit and man. And once
-
a heart this revived, silence becomes impossible. I think I
-
have this on the slidest well. They didn't speak because
-
it was safe. They spoke because it was overflowing. Peter
-
and John, not Peter and Jane. Peter and John didn't
-
speak because it was safe. Friends and family. How many
-
of us wait for a safe environment before we start speaking.
-
In the Tuesday SBO, the pastors were given a warning
-
that in the days to come, and uh, it's getting
-
a bit real now that at any given time authorities
-
may be able to storm in this place and take
-
me away. Because I'm standing here when they come here
-
and ask who's the buzzer of this church? Was your answer?
-
Did you know that they can do that? Are they
-
right to do that? Nah? I don't think. I don't
-
think it's legal, but it can and it's happening. It
-
happened in the future just already our our chest planning
-
x D lie he went through it. So it's a
-
bit close to home now because you may be thinking
-
maybe they went all the way and is yeah the
-
place that place life just happened the other day and
-
forces came in, so ronson was questioned. So it's getting
-
a bit real. I don't know how many of you
-
are jumping from me and brought that mela see you guys,
-
why Richard and all over to you raised the Lord man.
-
It's it's scary right at any given time, it may
-
be your last opportunity to give glory to God. But
-
they did not speak because it was safe they spoke
-
because it was all flowing. They will already threaten. You know,
-
you better keep your mouth silk or else you know
-
what's going to happen. Nah, I cannot help, but speak
-
of what I've seen. It hurt. You can't. But let's
-
see how they get there next. Like Fifth Station Revival,
-
the Early Church prayed for boldness, not comfort. Oh Lord,
-
I pray for a comfortable house. I pray that I
-
don't have to worry for my electricity bill. Ever again,
-
I pray God that you know do these do that?
-
Do these do that? But yeah, all good, all good prayers. Yeah,
-
and God will reward those of yours are faithful. He will,
-
he will, And you guys are testify. That's the maning
-
for that blessed. He will bless you. But let the
-
Early Church prayed for bondness, not for comfort. After being
-
threatened the church Gadet. Do you know that? Did you
-
know that after being threatened the church actually getet, not
-
just be there and John the church Gaddet x four
-
twenty ninety thirty one. Now Lord, look on their treads
-
and grant to your servants that with all bondness they
-
will speak your word. It's like the church coming together
-
after just hearing the news that the authorities will come
-
in and taking pusson then away. Rachelle can stay. Yeah,
-
I hope you will take care of her if that
-
ever happens to me. And struggles as well, Please take
-
care of struggles. She likes to eat kebbles, he loves
-
pets and rooms. Church gaddet pray, it's not Lord protects there.
-
You know it's not Lord protect Daniel. Keep him, keep
-
the fiery that's away from him. No, the church gathered
-
and said give but then or give us the bonus
-
to speak exactly what they're asking us not to speak.
-
That's what a revived hard nurse stage five. Give me
-
the boness because if I don't have your boness, nothing
-
comes down. So when you are in the family table,
-
reunion table, and you're about to speak a gospel, ask yourself,
-
are you praying for that bonness because you think that
-
you can do it by your own strength? But Hallelujah
-
praised the Lord. You can't hm hm new spirit, new splash,
-
you can't. How many of you have tried and failed.
-
I have tried and failed many times. And then this
-
is what happens after that, and when they had prayed,
-
the place where they were assembled together was shaken. Can
-
you see that they were filled with the Holy Spirit,
-
and they spoke the Word of God with bondness. They
-
didn't ask for protection escape easier circumstances. They ask for
-
boness and courage. When the Spirit filled them again, their
-
voices returned. So Peter and John don't say that they
-
were not afraid. They were. They are like us. Oh,
-
they are at the apostle. They are the disciples of
-
Costler can Hello, Hello, hello, friends. This is the follow
-
that denied Jesus three times before the rooster crode next like,
-
this is the last stage of revival, or at least
-
what I have for you this morning. What does a
-
revived heart look like today? Heart revival doesn't always look dramatic. Yeah,
-
it's not very dramatic. But the revived heart is deeply transformational.
-
It transforms, Amen, It is transformed, be renewed by the
-
transformation of your mind. Amen. Let me just show you
-
some words that what it looks like the next light
-
very quickly. Revival looks like tears returning to prayer. When
-
was the last time you actually cried when you pray?
-
Think about it. The revival looks like when you're reading scripture,
-
you're hungry. How many of us here have went hungry before?
-
No food on the table. There was a period in
-
my life where my dad was earning, the only one earning,
-
and my mom was of course, I found out later
-
that the reason why she couldn't withdraw the money was
-
because it didn't make sense, so of all out. For
-
the longest time, we were just eating food that my
-
dad brought back. And there was one day I remember,
-
in particular, he didn't bring back any food. There was
-
no food on the table. I was a spoiled bread.
-
So I started complaining, like, hey, where's my chicken rice?
-
Because he always brings my chicken rice, the same one
-
with the same shop. Where's my chicken rice? Dad? He
-
looked like me and he said, son, sorry, today really
-
got no money, and he really didn't have any money.
-
It was like, I think the end of the month
-
and Bay even came in yet, and we were just
-
living on living on Detla. My mom had FT to withdraw,
-
but friends, it doesn't make sense to withdraw FT for
-
the chicken rice land, Okay, So then just look at
-
me and say, sorry, son, no chicken rice for you
-
drink water at least what next day came steal, no
-
chicken rice. Third day came steal, no chicken rice. All
-
we had was bread and egg still got braaingg still
-
got bread, eggs, just egges proteen. Fourth day came no
-
chicken rice. On the fifth day. Finally, the next month,
-
fifth of the following month, his pay came in. He
-
came back home and he bought me five packs of
-
chicken rice. And I finished it. I finished it. Hunger, hunger.
-
You're desperate. You're hungry. Whenever you read scripture, you're hungry.
-
You're hungry to see what God has in store for you. You're
-
hungry to see to see the verse that says trust
-
in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not
-
on your own understanding in all your ways. Acknowledge she
-
mean he's your direct paths. You're hungry. You're hungry to
-
know which path to take. Revival looks like joy, returning
-
to salvation, bonus, returning to testimony, love, returning to people.
-
Revelations to forty five is the last verse I have
-
for you this morning. Nevertheless, I have this against you. Actually,
-
we can count right now that if you have left
-
your first love. Remember therefore, from where you have fallen,
-
repent and do the first works when we give you
-
three simple steps in order for you to get back
-
on the path of a revived heart. First, remember, yeah, remember,
-
he says, remember there for from where you have fallen,
-
that Marie Clay, that God took you out from that
-
place of desperation, that place of five days without chicken rice.
-
You're a laughing because yogaa, five days not chickenized. I
-
suffered more. It was yeah, yeah, yeah, you did. So
-
remember those days. Remember those days where all you had
-
was your voice. Secondly, repent because revival it's not about
-
something that wasn't there. Revival is about bringing back to
-
life something that was there, Amen, And that's repenting as well.
-
Repenting is like returning to the father. You have tried everything,
-
like the prodigal son, you no discovered what this world
-
has to offer. And when you have nothing left, you
-
remember that, Hey, my father is at home waiting for me,
-
and I'm coming back to him. And you're saying, God,
-
I don't know how to be a good husband, but
-
Lord help me. And he helps you. He helps you,
-
not just with expectations. I tell you what. You come
-
back here again, I tell you the next time you leave,
-
you're no longer coming home. No, he comes running to
-
you with open arms, and he looks to his other son,
-
which is someone worse here in this room, that has
-
experienced the fullness of his glory. They say, go and
-
prepare the best male ever. Because I come home already.
-
I mean, have you go back? I come back, and
-
he finally I come back, Go and cook. Wow, my
-
grandma used to cook the best male ever whenever sarways
-
come back home. Now she can't cook anymore. Memory loss.
-
It's that there, you know. Sometimes you watch these you
-
think like, oh, I can't relate because God not Asian. Hello,
-
Hello to some. To him, bib are like his precious children.
-
And when he sees you going out there experiencing everything
-
that is not of him, and finally your eyes open
-
and you come back, you remember him and you will
-
come back to him. He won't go like and tell
-
you what. You try this again, I'll never ever accept
-
you again. No, he will help. He will welcome you. James
-
fall it says, drawn near to him, And he will
-
draw near to you. So as long as you think
-
the first step God were drawn near to you, he meant.
-
The final part, the last hour, is to he says,
-
repent and do the first works. Do the first works. Return,
-
return back to the place of which you have discovered
-
Jesus Amen.
