You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
The title for today is perfect peace. Let's see where
-
it comes from. Are you ready? Isaiah twenty six, verse three, parsidentically,
-
just have the bottle of use water already? Yeah, thank you?
-
Just to Yeah, I don't know. I've been eating so
-
much this past Chinese year.
-
What is this?
-
Oh?
-
Oh, thank you very much? Thank you? Pass day? Okay?
-
Are you ready re read God's word? You will keep
-
him in perfect peace? Whose mind is stayed on you
-
because he trusts in you. Isaiah twenty six, verse three.
-
I want to encourage you to try to memorize this verse.
-
This is a wonderful verse for those of us who
-
go through difficulties and challenges. I've memorized it by the
-
grace of God, and so every morning I use it,
-
I will say, you will keep it in perfect peace.
-
Whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.
-
And I think some of you in this room really
-
need God's peace, or you know somebody who needs God's peace.
-
As I was looking into the scripture, the Lord told
-
me do a little bit of study of what perfect
-
peace means in the Hebrew. So I look into the Hebrew,
-
and this is what perfect peace means. It means shalom shalom.
-
So those of you who know shalom, it means peace.
-
But this is shalom shalom, perfect peace. When you say
-
perfect peace, do you mean that there can be imperfect peace?
-
Think about that for a moment. Imperfect peace means a
-
peace that is there but not sufficient for what you're
-
going through, a peace that's there but not sufficient for
-
what you're going through. So God introduced this in his
-
word and he is it perfect piece, or rather in
-
the original Hebrew, is shalom shalom, double shalom.
-
What does it really mean?
-
It means a complete peace that covers all areas of
-
life spiritual, mental, emotional, spirit, soul and body.
-
All right, it's a whole piece.
-
Not just part piece, ninety piece, but a whole. You know,
-
some of you could be rich but sick, that's not whole.
-
Whole means every part of you is blessed, every part
-
of you is well, every part of you is healthy.
-
God wants to give you shalom shalom, a complete piece.
-
All right.
-
You know some of you are at peace spiritually, but
-
maybe not mentally. Why maybe because last you hurt that
-
somebody you like or somebody you love is not well.
-
Maybe uh, you know.
-
I went to my family reunion and I heard that
-
my cousin, who definitely looks much healthier than me, fainted
-
in the mall.
-
And when he fainted them all, I said, when do
-
you faint? The moll ut come?
-
You know, sometimes the only a Chinese neal reunion we
-
find out what happened to our family. Though he is
-
my closest cousin, but obviously not that closer, because he
-
said to me, I fainted in the mall two years ago,
-
two years ago, and I went to check out and
-
realized that my heart is not good. He's fifty eight
-
years old. My heart is not good. And I looked
-
at him. You know, I'm like, wow, you should have
-
told me. I can pray for you. You know, my
-
heart is not good. Fifty eight and not sure. His
-
father passed on at about fifty nine because of a
-
heart attack, So of course he jokes that, oh, my
-
father left me many things, and.
-
He also left me a heart as week. And you know, we.
-
Want to love, but we don't have to love it.
-
All is like, Okay, he's making a joke. He's trying
-
to make light of his situation. But maybe you just
-
heard about something. Maybe you just got a medical report.
-
Maybe you just hurt, you know something that has caused
-
you to be mentally not at peace.
-
You sleep, you.
-
Think about it, you wake up, you think about it,
-
you eat, you think about it. Okay, So spiritual peace
-
but not mental peace, how come because it's not complete?
-
Or you have spiritual mental but not emotional because something
-
has just happened. Maybe you just argue with your wife,
-
and so I have peace. God is my God. I
-
have the Prince of Peace living in me. My mental peace. Yeah,
-
so far, so good, But emotionally I'm not as happy
-
this morning as I should be. So the kind of
-
peace that God wants to give us is a complete peace.
-
Somebody say, amen, God wants to give us this peace.
-
And it's full, complete, whole spirit, soul body. It's a deep, unshakable,
-
all encompassing calm that comes from God. A steadiness of mind.
-
Oh steady, we like to say here religious steady, steadier.
-
Not just when you know when you see a good
-
looking girl, steady you know, no, no, no, or see
-
a look good looking guy. Oh steady stay, No, no,
-
not that cars steady. This is steady. Because the world
-
is so full of bad news and it shakes us.
-
But when God gives us this peace, it's very deep, unshakable.
-
There's a calm even in the midst of a storm.
-
It's not the absence of problems or pressure, but the
-
answer for them.
-
In fact, can I tell you this.
-
The more problems or pressure we face, the more we
-
need this peace.
-
It's going to be okay.
-
Turn to your neighbor right now, and with faith, look
-
at look at me in the eyes, say it's going
-
to be okay. It's going to be okay. Anyone here
-
want to get married, You don't have to put up
-
your hands. Haven't found a boyfriend yet? You know, at
-
thirty two, it's going to be.
-
You know.
-
The funny thing is that those who want to be
-
married are desperate, you know, to be married, and those
-
who have been married are desperate. Should I finish the
-
center's no, weis should not because it's Chinese. Yere's a
-
good day Sunday. And I wanted to say, those who
-
are married want to remain married. Hallely, I'm man Amen, Yeah,
-
some people are like looking like, yeah, sure, no, I
-
pray in Jesus name lor bless every marriage. He Amen,
-
it's going to be okay. We're going to get through this.
-
Those of you are going to We're gonna get through this.
-
Yeah.
-
Those of you who are playing pick a ball and
-
you are wanting to, you know, play the finals and win,
-
We're gonna get through this. Huh Amen. Only two amens
-
so far. One step at a time, one day at
-
a time. What does complete whole mean?
-
All right? It means happy.
-
And healthy because I've seen people are happy but not healthy.
-
Have you seen that happy because maybe got money, a
-
lot of money in the bank account. Oh, they can't
-
buy anything that has to hire, but not healthy. I've
-
seen rich people in the hospital. You know, rich people
-
in the hospital look like poor people. Meaning to say that,
-
when you put a rich man and a poor man
-
on the on the bed in the hospital, they look
-
the same. I've seen a rich man's scream because he
-
can't go to the toilet. I've seen a poor man
-
scream as because he goes.
-
Ah. No, I've scined.
-
I said, you know, at the end of the day,
-
they're the same. But when God moves with perfect peace.
-
He wants to give us both happiness and healthy. Because
-
both happiness and health, I should say, because you can.
-
Be healthy and also not happy. All right, how about this?
-
Have you ever heard about this prayer?
-
I heard it many many years ago, this prayer that
-
this man said, giving thanks for food. I like that prayer.
-
I remembered it until today. I think I heard it
-
twenty years ago. The man said. He says, oh, please,
-
please give thanks for the food. He says, yes, I will.
-
He says, Lord. Some have food but no appetite. Some
-
have appetite but no food. Lord, I thank you today
-
I have both.
-
Amen. Isn't that true? However, you know that a lot
-
of food but can't.
-
Eat there's no epetite. I used to take my father
-
in law eighty three years and I s he was
-
eighty two. I used to take him to buffe when
-
I got married thirty one years ago. When I got
-
married and my father in law was only fifty plus.
-
When I took him to buffe, he who up everything.
-
He like me is we are sweet tooth people. So
-
we go to buffets. We start with the dessert. Come on,
-
anybody feeling me here? We start with dessert, and then
-
we go to the main meal, and then we end
-
with dessert. Hallelujah. That's the way you do it. Okay,
-
those of you who don't do it that away, I'll
-
pray for your thirds. The revelation haven't come my father
-
in law. But when he became seventy seventy five, seventy
-
seven eighty, I thought, don't bother the game to Buffei
-
because he takes one plate, three different things on his plate.
-
He comes, he eats, he says, Oh, Paula, right, you
-
don't want to think a man like that to buffet.
-
In fact, I never took him Buffey after that already,
-
because you know he there's a lot of food, but
-
no appetite. Some people are very hungry, very hungry, but
-
no food, and be thankful for both. That's called complete,
-
that's called whole. We want that kind of life, don't we.
-
We want that kind of life. And God gives you
-
not just peace shalom, but chalom shalom, the whole, the
-
complete kind of shalom.
-
Yeah.
-
How if a father here gave a tesla to his daughter,
-
Oh huh, do you know.
-
What tesla is? Ah?
-
She don't know what she thought, she thought, Tesla. God,
-
she's always in the test, so huh, yeah, he gave
-
me a testla, test me lie and see, okay, you know,
-
give you a Tesla, but not the battery. What is
-
a Tesla without battery? That's that's just that's just tesla
-
testing me? And ah yeah, how about you gave your
-
you know, your your your wife a BMW that not
-
buss Beanie will like but you know.
-
BMW.
-
Huh but not the keys o killers.
-
She will really kill you.
-
How if you gave a Shay iPhone eighteen Cotachia on
-
the way, on the way, on the way, on the way,
-
So you gave iPhone eighteen, but no data is in
-
life right now? We we we get this, but not that.
-
What does it profit if a man gains the whole
-
world but lose his soul? Bibles very clear, that's not whole,
-
that's not complete. Everybody still with me? How about when
-
Jesus said in John ten ten the thief does not
-
come but to still kill and destroy. I have come
-
that you may have life, and lie more bodily so
-
life even non Christians have. If whatever you look at
-
an unbeliever, you know who have yet to come to
-
know Jesus. He looks like he's living the life, but
-
not abundant life, not yet. So Jesus don't just want
-
to give you life. He wants to give you life
-
and life more abundantly. When I went to Meidan Meydan,
-
because they follow Israel so much, this particular church called GBI,
-
they gave me the theme to speak on. That's why
-
I couldn't use any of my messages. And the theme
-
is an Israel theme the Israel. Israel goes with a
-
yearly theme according to their year. So the year of
-
Israel now is five seven eighty six, and for every
-
ten years they have a general theme. So pay pe
-
y is their theme. For ten years before pay was
-
I een a y i nd which is ice. So
-
I guess you gotta see first the vision and then
-
speak the vision with your mouth. So I in is eyes,
-
pay is mouth, so mouth paypey means to declare. So
-
for ten years, Israel is in a posture of declaring
-
the word of God. Pay mouth declare okay, So they
-
gave me the theme. As you study what pay is?
-
I ready knew what pay is, but I didn't know
-
what twenty twenty six exact theme.
-
Of Israel was and it's valv v a v valve.
-
And so the Israel year starts in September, so they
-
started edding. They started September and then they end in September,
-
so that one year is pay vav. Vav means hook
-
in literal word, a hook or a nail. Vav also
-
means connection or the connection. And vav also means in
-
one word and a and d. And so when God comes,
-
he wants to give you pay vav. Pay valv means
-
he speaks on your life and vav and hooks you
-
in to his will. He speaks a word and valve
-
you into his will, his word, his way, his wisdom.
-
Are you with me?
-
And so when I studied pay valve, which is the
-
general theme that Gbi Maydan gave me, I had to
-
prepare the message. And I realized that God had already
-
given me a message. And I said, God wants to
-
make you happy and valve and connect and healthy. So
-
this year, if you are linked with Israel in your spirit,
-
and we are as a church linked with Israel in
-
our spirit, we can declare the promise of this year,
-
which is pay speak the valve, the end of God.
-
So not just will I be healthy this year, but
-
I also believe I can be wealthy this year and
-
come on, not only happy but healthy, not only life,
-
but life more. I want you, I want you to
-
be able to speak with your mouth.
-
God. Don't just give me this, but give me that,
-
this and that.
-
Don't just only make half of my family safe but
-
the other Halflet come on, amen, so we can pay
-
valve and then only completement, not just parents Christian children. Lord,
-
I declare, it's not my year. I did declare pay valve.
-
Pay Valve is a year that Israel declared. And because
-
we are linked, intertwined with the destiny of Israel, Payva.
-
We will speak until the end happens. Parents and children saved,
-
children and parents safe. Your stay with me. This is
-
very powerful life and life more abundantly. Everyboy, okay, one
-
Shalom is fine. Life goes on, ministry continues, but there's
-
something that still bothers, something that holds us back, and
-
we're not completely free, not completely at rest. So I
-
met this pastor who is doing very well. He is
-
a lay pastor, so he has a business outside and
-
his business.
-
Has been doing very very well.
-
And he said to me, the desire that he has
-
to do business is so that he can make money,
-
so that he can give.
-
More to the church. Okay. Cool.
-
And this pastor when he speaks, very good speaker.
-
All right.
-
So I thought, from the outside, you see, sometimes you
-
look at people from the outsider. We all look fine,
-
all look fine, some look sleepy. As I scanned through there,
-
I realized how many eyes are closed. Okay, one more
-
time scanning or or the eyes a phrase? God, we
-
should do scanning and now and then across. Okay, now,
-
why maybe you're tired. Okay, but here we go. So. Uh,
-
when I look at him, he looks like he has
-
an amazing life. Sometimes when we look at our neighbor,
-
what I want the life he has. But you don't know, No,
-
you don't know. You don't know what life your neighbor
-
really has. So I sat down with this brother who
-
was very kind to come and see me. Because I
-
say kind, because he must have believed that I had
-
something to offer him, he said, Pastor Kenneth. And by
-
this time he was in tears. And I said, what's wrong?
-
He says, I feel like giving up everything. I say why,
-
I said, your life looks so good. He says, yeah,
-
my wife thinks it's good. My children think it's good.
-
Even my wife thinks it's good. Because he's not shared
-
it with his wife, he says, cut a long story short.
-
He says, I am so stuck in pornography. It's eating
-
me up like cancer inside. Every time I prepare a message,
-
I've either found myself preparing it after I watched a
-
pornography or before. He says, I am so. I said, yeah,
-
but you sound like that a good preacher, He said, yeah,
-
pass Candeth. I think I have enough just to go
-
through every week. You know, some people live just enough.
-
They have enough peace just to do business. You have
-
enough peace just to go to work and say everybody,
-
how's everybody fine?
-
Good?
-
And you have enough peace just to finish your work.
-
But you go back home feeling like I don't want
-
to go back home because only you know what's eating
-
up inside. And sometimes that's all we have. We have
-
enough just to carry on going to school, going to work,
-
or even doing ministry, preaching from one Sunday after the other.
-
But nobody so worse still, right when you look like
-
you're doing well but you're not, and you know you're
-
not right. That's when it really eats you up, because
-
it's like living a life of hypocrisy. And after a while,
-
people just can't stand it. They themselves looking into the
-
mirror and they can't look at it at themselves anymore
-
because it's like it's so bad. And so I had
-
to tell this brother. I say, look, I want to
-
tell you about my story. And I told him how
-
I was stuck in pornography for ten years while serving
-
as a youth leader. And I thought I was doing
-
a great job, but sometimes really we only have enough
-
just to get through the day, and then we hit
-
ourselves on the head saying what am I doing? How
-
long can I live this lie? The pressure is great,
-
the stress is mounting. And I told this brother, I said,
-
you are not completely alone, and if you allow me,
-
I will walk with you. If you allow me, I
-
will call you now and then. And the Holy Spirit
-
one time, the Holy Spirit led me to call him
-
while he was in the act, and he said, pa,
-
I said, remember I told you, then I'll call you,
-
And you say, yes, I can call you anytime. So
-
I said, sometimes the Holy Spirit will call me.
-
To call you.
-
And so he said to me, pass I was afraid
-
when you will call me, So every time I turn
-
on that internet or whatever it is, possily going to
-
call me right now, you know. So that helped because
-
the fear of God came into his life. I have
-
got good news to you to tell you that after
-
six months, he had so much victory that he felt. Yeah,
-
he said, Passive, I'm not totally out of it. Sometimes
-
I still like get them to do. But he said,
-
it's much better. I've got much more victory today, much
-
more control today than I've ever had before. You know
-
what he got from the Lord not just peace to
-
get through the day. He got perfect peace, a shalom
-
shalom that put his heart at rest, you know, because
-
at the end of the day, if you don't, you
-
will find yourself wanting to give up. Just throw in
-
the towel, because no one in this room can live
-
a lie for too long.
-
You can't. You just can't do it. So you want
-
to be.
-
Free, amen, You want to be free, and all God
-
can set you free. Jesus, you will know the truth,
-
and the truth will set you free. We're running sometimes
-
closer to empty than we are running at full.
-
And I want to speak this to you because I.
-
Really sense the Holy Spirit in this room wanting to
-
set his people free and wanting to fill you again
-
until you're so full that you got enough to spare
-
to give to others. All right, those of you who
-
are running on empty, You've done your job, you finish
-
whatever you're big held to do, but.
-
You have nothing left at the end.
-
You can't even smile at your wife, and you get
-
back home because I believe leave me alone. I just
-
I just want to sleep because you're just running on
-
to cop and for those of you watching in other
-
countries to cos been enough.
-
To cook enough.
-
So chalom shalom, I want to declare over all of
-
you receive it in Jesus name, Shalom shalom.
-
Now I want to.
-
Say to you that the Bible is very clear that
-
this is not without condition. Okay, let me just bring
-
you to the next light. The Bible says he will
-
keep us. Now, the reason why you keep anything is
-
because you don't want it to be lost.
-
You don't want it to be stolen.
-
So can I just declare to you this morning that
-
God doesn't want to lose you, and he doesn't want
-
anyone to steal you. And who is here to steal us?
-
Of course the devil John ten ten. Again, the thief
-
does not come except to steal, kill, and destroy. So
-
why do you keep anything you don't wanted to be lost?
-
Right? Right? If it doesn't matter to you, are you
-
just put it outside? Right?
-
Because it's like yo takla. In fact, some of you
-
will go, please take right, cause it's rubbish to you.
-
But I want to say this that you are not
-
rubbish to God. You are precious and you are valuable.
-
Now I'm gonna show you one other verse is found
-
in Romans sixteen twenty, and I want to see. I
-
want to let you see how it's written. The Bible says,
-
and the God of Peace will crush Shatan on your
-
feet shortly, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be
-
with you.
-
Amen.
-
Just in case you think that the peace of God
-
is weak, I want to declare to you this morning
-
that the peace of God is very powerful, is very strong. Now,
-
if I wrote this scripture, if I wrote this scripture.
-
I will say, and the God of war.
-
And the God of power, and the God of greatness,
-
and the God who is warrior. Right, But the Bible
-
doesn't read like this. The Bible reads the God of Peace.
-
So if Satan is bothering you, your health, your finances,
-
your family, you know what's going to crush him. Come on,
-
you know what's gonna crush him. Peace, the God of
-
Peace will crush Satan under whose feet? Not under God's feet,
-
under your feet, not many years from now, shortly, as
-
shortly as before this service ends.
-
Do you believe it? The grace of our Lord Jesus
-
Christ be with you.
-
Amen, we need this peace. What do you keep? You
-
only keep important and precious things.
-
Amen.
-
Now, before I close this morning, I want to remind
-
you this is a conditional promise from Isaiah twenty six,
-
verse three. A conditional promise means you get this promise
-
of Shalom shalom from God who wants to keep you
-
in his perfect peace on condition. What is the condition?
-
The Bible says, whose mind is stayed on you? Whose
-
mind is stayed on you? Do you know what that means?
-
Do you know what stay means means? Say means, live
-
means you are found in the address. Yes means there
-
is permanency. Yes means that I can more often find
-
you there than not.
-
Yes, Sonny, I know you play pickerball more often.
-
Than not, But I don't think I'll be able to
-
find you on the basket on the pickleball court all
-
the time. Your wife just says no. Wife also say almost,
-
I don't think so. I don't think so. Maybe maybe
-
maybe the chances are higher, but I don't think it's
-
a permanent place for you. People won't say a sunny
-
stays in the pick ah also saying almost, Daniel, is
-
that true? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, But you'll understand what
-
stay means. Right, Stay, where do you stay? Where do
-
you live?
-
Just with in got the co mooning? Well done, Albert.
-
Where do you say ever? Want to say? In the gym?
-
Sleeping with his boaster? Yeah?
-
The waits you know, but you understand what I'm saying, right, Stay,
-
stay where I can find you most of the time. Stay,
-
Stay where I will be visiting you. If I come
-
and visit visit you for ties year. Yes, you won't
-
invite me to the basketball court. You know you won't
-
be having cookies there? Yeah, stay eye under saying this
-
This is not rocket science. Whose mind is stayed on you?
-
The mind that's where the real battle is agreed. That's
-
where the real battle is, that's where it must be worn.
-
So that's that's why your mind and my mind must
-
be stayed on Christ. If we want his perfect piece,
-
his perfect piece will not come to us if our
-
mind mind is not stayed now, if our mind is
-
not stayed on the Lord, I guarantee you you'll be
-
stayed on something else. How many of you have ever
-
got a bad medical report? Let me see your head,
-
bad medical report before last, not now, in the past.
-
Let me see your hands anyone, Okay, thank you so much,
-
Thank you so much. Anyone like bad Choles's wrong, like
-
bad sugar or whatever. Or you know somebody who's ever
-
had a bad report in your family?
-
Yeah, bad report.
-
Now, I tell you one thing about health, bad health
-
is that it stays on you, and it stays on you.
-
It stays on you every time you eat.
-
Can I eat this? Every time you think your supplement,
-
you know whatever, it just stays on you.
-
He said, God is asking you to have your mind
-
stayed on Him, even if you have something else your mind.
-
Can be occupied with.
-
Be anxious for nothing Philippines for six or seven, but
-
in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. Let your
-
request we may known to God. Then the peace of God,
-
which surpasses all understanding. Well, God, your hearts and mind
-
is true Christ Jesus. The peace of God I told
-
you earlier is very strong, is very powerful. But I
-
want to tell you right now and remind you is
-
the God. It's the God. Most of us are living
-
in guarded communities. Yes, no, No, anyone in this room
-
not living in the garded community. I think almost all,
-
almost all because everyone is rich in this room. Hallelujah,
-
praise God, rich in God. So I have a God, right,
-
thank God. You know it's not high security because you
-
know what high security is. They just come and say hi,
-
and then the God says God. Right, So thank God,
-
no more high security for me. Yeah, this is what
-
actually have to ask.
-
What I see you?
-
And right?
-
How many else here?
-
You know? The God? Thank God for gods, good gods.
-
Do you know what the the goodness with the God
-
the best? Or so he's with the God. No, the
-
the answer is with the God. The problem was always
-
with the God. You want to said that because the
-
God will stop or allow, Yes, singing your house?
-
Od? Got right?
-
I remember? Yeah, hey this one this area here the God? Really,
-
I thought, I know when I go to Sharon's house.
-
You know, sister Sharon, why invite me come to my house?
-
You know the god?
-
Wow? Really, few gods, few gods? You know? Who are you?
-
I don't. I don't tell them anything else. I just say, Sharon.
-
You know what I say? No address, Oh, auntie, Sharon, so ah,
-
give me, give me, give me diversis. I don't have.
-
I see if I give you my divers I said
-
to kill you. One time I told the god. They said,
-
mind didn't give me a wife.
-
Wine. So as you do who you are? Do you
-
look like policeman, so I said, Sharon. Oh no, no, no, no, no.
-
No no, ask you for drivers. So you have a god.
-
Now listen, the peace of God is your god. So
-
the God stands at the door of your heart, at
-
the door of your mind. And when words from Satan comes.
-
You are lousy, You are good for nothing. You're the
-
worst mother I've ever seen. Right, you're the worst business man.
-
You can't make money, you always lose money. Right, You're
-
a failure. Right, you will never have a pretty girlfriend.
-
You never have a good looking boyfriend. I don't know. Okay,
-
whatever the devil. You know your grandfather was a failure.
-
Your father was a failure. You are a failure right,
-
all these words coming from Satan. And you know who
-
says stop right now, thank you very much. Not spice girls,
-
but peace, The peace of God stands God there, Hello,
-
who are you?
-
I see? Please? Driver?
-
So I says, no, I just want to attack the family.
-
No way, You stop here and you go. So you
-
know who gods your heart and mind is the peace?
-
I told you this before, I'll tell you again. It's
-
really true. Peace has got that power.
-
Though.
-
You know you will never be able to be healthy
-
again because you're whole soul. Someone has cancer in your
-
family and someone else has canceled. So you are going
-
to And you know sometimes we allow these thoughts.
-
You know why we up to the top?
-
Okay, hit somebody's had no so you know you know
-
why we allow these thoughts. We didn't really allow it.
-
The peace of God wasn't there. The peace of God
-
wasn't there.
-
Are you with me?
-
So when the peace of God is there, the peace
-
will stand and the words of God will come.
-
It might be impossible, but with God all things are possible.
-
Walking you have been wonderfully and fearfully made, even though
-
you don't think so when you look in the mirror.
-
Come in with God, all things are possible. Come in.
-
By his stripes, you are healed. Coming.
-
God is good. Come in, He's good all the time.
-
Come in even more amen. By his blood, you are
-
washed and cleanse. Your sins are forgiven.
-
Come in. You may have been a rascal in your past,
-
but with Jesus you are safe. Come in.
-
Because the God only got two d man. Stop or
-
come stop? Come yeah, stop or enter? Stop or enter?
-
Are you with me? With me? When you don't have.
-
The peace of God, that God's your heart and mind,
-
true Christ Jesus, that's when it becomes troublesome because you
-
allow thoughts they're not supposed to come in to come in,
-
and thoughts that are supposed to come in. You kick
-
it up because can he be true? Can God's would
-
be true? You know?
-
So Let me now draw towards the close.
-
The Bible says Second Corinthians ten four to five says,
-
for the weapons of our warfare are not connel. You
-
must remember this, but mighty in God for pulling down.
-
So you see this pulling down because there are in
-
your thoughts right now, things.
-
That are high and lifted up. You gotta cast.
-
Down every high thing that exorts itself against the knowledge
-
of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience
-
of Christ.
-
How many of you in this room have ever fallen
-
in love?
-
And now I won't I won't embarrass you. You don't
-
have to put up your hands. But how many of
-
you in this room has ever fallen in love? Okay? Wonderful?
-
Oh very nice. I can see couples trying to force
-
their husband's hands to go up. Okay, I understand how
-
it works. I understand how it works. Yeah, yeah, all right.
-
Some husbands are looking down a day because, like more,
-
I can't even remember what love is how you spell.
-
But I think all of you, all of you, otherwise
-
you won't be married unless it was an arranged marriage, sir.
-
Arranged marriage is married first, love later, right, It's okay,
-
it's okay, it works those times. But all of us,
-
especially those of us who have been married before, they've
-
been married before all are married, I think we have
-
fallen in love. Do you all still remember how to
-
fall in love? Do you all still remember how it
-
was when you fell in love? Some of the guys
-
going up, but the pie don't ask any boy. You know,
-
my wife's gonna ask you many questions where I go. Well,
-
I tell you are you think about the person quite often?
-
Quite often, even when a person said no to you
-
those you still think about her.
-
You know, I like you? Do you like me?
-
No?
-
Not in that way.
-
We are in the friend zone, friend zone, and you
-
just to keep us friends one you want to write
-
a song?
-
Friend zone? How do I get out of this friend zone?
-
It's good for merry couples here to think about how
-
you fell in love and how this woman was everything
-
to you. You just can't wait to get married to her.
-
But you know, our mind was stayed. It's some silly
-
things you do when you're in love. No, have you
-
heard of guys that passed by the classroom just to
-
see her one more time?
-
Huh? Passed by the classroom.
-
You know, and the teacher said, hey, hello, why are
-
you passing by this classroom all the time? No, no, no, no,
-
just passing by, you know, wanting to go to the toilet.
-
And then the teacher said, yeah, but you're from the
-
other school. Use not a toilet near the school, you know?
-
Trying to say you do ridiculous things on your love,
-
ridiculous things you go to second mile, third mile, can't
-
stop thinking about you. This is the condition that those
-
of us who want perfect peace need to have with God.
-
I can't stop thinking about you, Jesus.
-
So I'm gonna encourage all of you before I close it,
-
before I pray that there will be a fresh love
-
that will stir up in our hearts today for the Lord.
-
Because I tell you what, it's easier to think about
-
trouble and problems than to think about the Lord. But
-
I pray that all of you here in this room
-
will come to a place whereby I can't stop thinking
-
about you.
-
The kind of thinking that changes of countenance.
-
You know, when you're in love, you think about the
-
girl and you're ooh, he's smiling right in the middle
-
of exam and your pray Are you smiling? Man's examiner? Well,
-
you're so confident in her? No, no, sorry, sorry, because
-
you just think about her or you think about him.
-
He's six packs. Yeah, now on one pack because I
-
believe in unity. So the six pecks became one man.
-
Now I have a mobile pullpit. I can just rest
-
my my Bible here mobile pulpit. The kind of thinking
-
that changes our countenance while you think about her, think
-
about him. Oh, times can be bad, but you think, Oh,
-
I smile, smile, No matter asks you.
-
Why is smiling? More? Mosy? Mosy? Nothing? Nothing? Nothing? And
-
this is what God does.
-
Where we think about Him every time, even when our
-
body is in pain, and we think about Jesus, think
-
about his goodness. That's why Sums forty three, Verse five says,
-
why are you cast out?
-
Know my soul? And why are you disquite it? Within me?
-
Hoping God for I shall yet praise him? Is what
-
is he? He is the help of my countenance. When
-
I think about him, my sadness turns into gladness, my
-
tears and sorrow.
-
Into joy. He is the help of my countenance.
-
Without him, I can't smile, especially when my family is
-
in trouble, especially when my loved one has cancer, especially
-
when I have a bill I cannot pay.
-
How can I smile? Smile?
-
But when I can't stop thinking about God, he will
-
change my countenance.
-
That's the ProBiS.
-
There's nothing like pressure, problem and pain that keeps our
-
minds stayed on him. Do you know there's a purpose
-
of problems and purpose for pressure and pain, because it's
-
not easier to think about God when.
-
The times are good. It takes practice.
-
Very few of us I think about God where we
-
don't need him.
-
It takes practice.
-
Now, by the grace of God, I recoup when I
-
think about Jesus because the Lord helped me to do that.
-
Before I recop, so I think about him. Sure my
-
eyes open, and it opened about four forty five this morning.
-
I opened you eyes. I don't know why the Lord
-
has trained me. So I opened up my eyes in
-
good morning, Lord, and I know it's not me. It's
-
just a training because I've always desired Lord. May I
-
think about you so often, even without trouble, because most
-
of us think about him only when there's trouble.
-
When times are good, he's the last on our list.
-
That's why God allows pain, pressure and problems so that
-
we will.
-
Turn to Him again and again and again again and again.
-
And it's a good thing because then he promises perfect.
-
Okay, finally, so remember what the Bible says Isaiah twenty six,
-
verse three. What this is, you will keep him in
-
perfect peace. Shalom shalom. Whose mind is staying on you
-
because he trusts in you. So the because he trust
-
in you is another condition. No, just think about him,
-
trust in him, trust in him. Okay, before I go
-
to the next slide, don't go to the next slight yet.
-
Just stay on this slide for now. Can I tell
-
you very quickly that there is a there's a difference
-
between trust God and trust in God. Albert, if I
-
say to you now, right now, trust God, what do
-
you think of immediately? I think you. I think you
-
will think of that God will solve my problems. Because
-
nobody says trust God unless there is a problem. Do
-
you simply go to your friend say trust God. No,
-
it's because you hurt. That's a problem. You hurt, there's
-
a need you hurt. There's a difficulty. Right then you
-
say trust God right now.
-
So the.
-
Phrase trust God is contingent or dependent on your problem
-
being fixed. The question is how if your problem is
-
not fixed?
-
Okay? See, so this is way a lot.
-
Of Christians stumble and fall and get frustrated and want
-
to give in, give up, don't come to church anymore.
-
Because this God I waited on him for six months
-
a year. People time me will trust him. But see
-
my problems to there. See, your eyes are still on
-
your problem. So trust in God is very different. Trust
-
in God. The next I can come out now is
-
trust in who God is, in his love. That means
-
that even if my prayers answered, I still believe He
-
is a God who loves me. Even in my prayers
-
no answered, I still believe that He is a merciful God.
-
Even if my you know, the money hasn't come in yet,
-
I believe that his grace is a faith sian. Even
-
if you know my my, my family member is not
-
here yet, you believe he is good, and He's good
-
all the.
-
Very different.
-
Trust God and trust in him. I remember watching a
-
movie one time. No, the lady says, don't you trust me?
-
And the guy says, I don't trust you, I trust
-
in you. He melted the girl's heart.
-
No, Like.
-
You know, I'm try to say no, not just trust God,
-
but I trust in you God that no matter what
-
happens from my problem, no matter what happens to my trouble,
-
is in you.
-
Everybody, Okay, in you.
-
So the secret of success is get to know him,
-
get to know him better.
-
Can I hear good? Amen?
-
Do not get to know the formula of how to overcome.
-
Don't you get to know the secrets of how to
-
break through? Know? Get to know him. He is a
-
secret EVERYBODY'SAI. Okay, he is the healer. Trust in him,
-
trust in God. That's why the Bible says, trust in
-
the Lord with all your heart. It dons it trusts
-
the Lord. Trust in the Lord. And in all other
-
scriptures that you will find the word in is there?
-
There are many more.
-
There are many more scriptures that you can you can
-
think of that has trust in. Not just trust the Lord,
-
but trust in with all your heart, all your heart,
-
trust in his character.
-
Trust in his unfailing love.
-
Because some of you are Your prayer will not be
-
answered in the next three days, maybe no answer in
-
the last three months, but he is still come on
-
good in all your ways. Acknowledge him and he shall
-
direct your path. Finally, trust is surrender. A lot of
-
us say we trust God, but Heaven surrendered. We must
-
learn to surrender. You can surrender without trusting, but you
-
can't trust without surrendering. How do you surrender without trusting?
-
Somebody just put a gun to your headler, put a
-
gun to your head. Of course you surrender it you
-
need to trust. You need to trust a guy who
-
put a gun on your head. Know it so to
-
surrender easy, No need trust me, but to trust you
-
need to surrender. And I find that too many people
-
haven't seen their breakthrough because they say, I trust you.
-
Those who are.
-
Taking care of my microphone I will finish in the
-
next two three minutes. Thank you so much, guys, Thank
-
you so much for helping me. I'm just kidding. I'm
-
just kidding. Okay, I'm not sure whether I'm really kidding,
-
but I'm just kidding.
-
Okay.
-
You can't surrender without trusting, but you can't trust without surrendering.
-
I want to lead you to surrender this morning because
-
we say, God, I trust you. But then we have,
-
you know, a whole book of context that we can
-
call you know.
-
Can you help me? Can you help me? Can you
-
help me? Can you help me?
-
I remember last time, you know, and I was. I
-
started in ministry. I knew nobody, I knew nobody, and
-
I trusting Jesus was so easy because all I had
-
was him. And then when I went on years of ministry,
-
you know, I knew this Dato, I knew this Dato.
-
Three I knew this done three I knew I knew
-
people in money who told me, Kenneth, if you ever
-
have problem, just call us. And I have been recipient
-
of thousands and thousands and thousands of ringedd to be
-
able to do this ministry. But then the Law said
-
to me one day, Kenneth, would you surrender all to me?
-
And I remember surrendering all to the Lord. It was painful, painful,
-
but true trust is when you surrender, said God, I
-
don't want to be in control. Maybe the musician can
-
start coming up, maybe the keybodies can start playing. I
-
want a minister right now, and I know it's eleven fourteen.
-
We started at nine thirty and we were close in
-
the next five minutes.
-
I just want a minister to you right now.
-
Because there are people in this room that has to
-
learn how to surrender, because surrendering is the hardest thing,
-
especially when you are in control, when you you know,
-
have the power to be in control, when you have
-
the names you can call on your phone that that
-
thought and then boundstreet that you can call the people
-
who have promised you that they will do this and
-
do that for you. But you know, I want you
-
to learn twenty twenty six. The Bible says, you will
-
keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on
-
you because he trusts in you, because he trusted you.
-
Thank you, Jesus, Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah.
-
Oh the Rimocras say to her, thank you for your
-
presence in this place.
-
Thank you the Lord Lord, your promise. They are yes
-
and amen.
-
And I know that God, you want to give everyone
-
here in this room, not just shalom, but shalom shalom.
-
There are people here in this.
-
Room who might not have the strength to be able
-
to continue doing what they're doing for the rest of
-
the year.
-
Some are thinking of giving up.
-
Some are thinking of retiring before their years are done.
-
Some are thinking of just stopping.
-
You know, just it's just too hard, too heavy.
-
Now. What you really need is not to give up.
-
What you really need is another another level of peace,
-
a deeper level of peace, a peace that can only
-
come from God who's perfect. So I just want to
-
minister to you right now, perfect peace. God will keep you.
-
Why is he keeping you because you're precious, because you're valuable,
-
Because he doesn't want to lose you to the world.
-
He doesn't want the devil to come and steal, kill
-
and destroy. So you keep something so that you will
-
not be stolen. God keeps you so that you will
-
not be stolen. God keeps you because you're precious. But
-
the condition is your mind must be stayed on him.
-
You say, God, I've got so much trouble, so much
-
illness in my body.
-
It's hard for me to think about you.
-
Well, make a choice today, because thinking about God is
-
a choice.
-
It's not a feeling. Thinking about God is not a feeling.
-
It's a choice.
-
Say Lord, I will turn all my worries into thinking
-
about you. I would turn all my anxiety into thinking
-
about you. I would turn all my pain into calling
-
upon your name. When I feel pain, I would just
-
say Jesus. When I feel down, I say Lord, help me.
-
And I'm feeling, you know, just uncomfortable. I said, God,
-
I know that you're there, and I trust you. I
-
trust in you.
-
Because you are. You're the God of love.
-
You're the God of mercy, and your mercies are you
-
every morning. You're the God whose grace is more than
-
sufficient for me. I trust in you for the seal
-
vision of my family, for the self, vision of my love.
-
Was I trust in you for my healing. I trust
-
in you. You will never leave me nor forsake me.
-
You're a good God. Is there anyone who wants the peace,
-
the shalom shalom of God.
-
You need it.
-
You need it for your decisions. Some of you are
-
making wrong decisions because there's no peace. Shalom shalom. The
-
peace of God will God your heart and mind through
-
Christ Jesus. And when the peace of God Gods, you
-
know what will happen. You will make good decisions. You
-
know why, because you will only be fed with good thoughts,
-
good decisions. Because you're fed with good thought. You will
-
make bad decisions because you're being fed with thoughts that
-
are not right, thoughts of fear, and so you make
-
decisions out of fear instead of out of faith. That's
-
how it happens. But with the peace of God, God's
-
your heart and mind. It will stop thoughts that don't
-
belong from coming into your system, and it will allow
-
thoughts that come from God.
-
And you know what happens.
-
You will meditate on the word of God and you
-
will do what it's right. You will have wisdom, you
-
will make good decisions. Yeah, that's right. That's how it works.
