You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
So let's begin by doing a quick recap from the
-
session five. Okay, how many of you here were at
-
We're here for session five. Let me see your hands? Okay, okay,
-
that's at least half of you. Okay, that's good. Okay,
-
So let me just quickly recap session five before I
-
go into session six. Is okay? All right? Okay, because
-
we tend to forget, including myself. So part five we
-
talked about the plan or the implementation, okay, of the vision,
-
and let me just go back all the way to
-
part one. First, what is the vision? Okay? I heard
-
some time I say, help people believe me? Okay, what else?
-
What else? That's the Bible?
-
Worse?
-
Come on, good? Remember this Bible was okay, very good?
-
Hyper Cook two fourteen. Okay, if you forget everything, please
-
away and read Hypo two fourteen, which says for the
-
earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory
-
of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. You
-
should be able to memorize it by now, because I
-
think I've said it like like ten ten times or
-
twenty times for the last month, okay. So so you
-
should be able to memorize it. That is the vision.
-
You want to see the whole earth filled with the
-
knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters
-
cover the sea. Okay. And so last week of session
-
five we spoke about a plan. We spoke about the
-
implementation of this vision. Because it's big, right, somebody say big,
-
it's big, right, you think about it for the entire earth, okay,
-
don't know. I'm going to try to break it down, okay.
-
And so in order to see this vision come to pass,
-
first of all, we need to live by the power
-
of the type. Okay. We spoke about this last week.
-
It's called living by the power of the tithe okay.
-
And so if we are familiar with tiding, we will
-
go back all the way to the Old Testament. Right,
-
and someone uys may go back to the law of Moses,
-
which is not wrong, which is right. But did you
-
know that the principle of tiding and she began all
-
the way back in the book of Genesis in the
-
Garden of Eden, when God said you shall not eat
-
of this of the fruit of this tree, of the
-
tree and the name but it's the name of the
-
tree is called the tree of knowledge of good, good,
-
good and evil. Right, you can eat any other tree
-
except this one, okay. In other words, don't touch this tree, okay,
-
don't touch the fruit okay. And so in our lives
-
they should be certain things in our lives that we
-
cannot touch and that belongs to God. Only God can
-
because if we can touch everything in our lives, we
-
become God ourselves. You're gotta be very careful with that.
-
And so the time belongs to God, you know, it
-
comes on the Lord. It belongs to him, and he
-
must have the final say. He must have the first
-
say and the final say. And so this principle began
-
all the way in a book of Genesis when God
-
said you shall not touch this or you should not
-
eat of this fruit. And that gives us perspective that
-
God is bigger in our lives, and there is the
-
things that belongs to the Lord, and we must give
-
it back to him. And so the principle is not
-
just talking about money. You know. Of course, if you
-
if you tend to be very specific, you will tell me, Yeah,
-
the word tithe actually is ten. Right. If you try
-
to go more detail. It's true, but we're not. We're
-
not just talking about money by it's the principle whereby
-
we can live our live by the principle of the
-
tithe even with our time. If you know that, because
-
we can also tie of our time to the Lord.
-
And ten percent of our time is about if you
-
do the math is two point four hours per day
-
times by seven. I don't know what's the number. Chlcolate, Okay,
-
I don't want to try my math, but it's two
-
point four hours per day. And so I thought about it. Right, Wow,
-
if she got it's true. You know, if we were
-
just to tie ten percent of our time every day,
-
think about it. You will have enough time to do
-
everything that God has called you to do. You have
-
enough time to serve the lot. You have enough time
-
to read your Bible. You have enough time to pray,
-
You have enough time to worship. You have enough time
-
to spend in people. You have enough time to go
-
to missions. You have enough time to come to church,
-
to homes for service. Try and see if you can
-
create the time you have enough. I thought about it.
-
It's true. If we were to tie our time to
-
the Lord ten percent, there will be enough time to
-
do everything that God has called us to do, and
-
that is why we will be one step closer to
-
seeing the vision come to pass. It becomes a little
-
bit more possible, okay, But of course we're not doing
-
it that strength. That's just our commitment, our tithe back
-
to the Lord. But all I'm trying to say is
-
that is the principle. And even as we tie onto
-
the Lord, we will continue to stand to be blessed
-
because the Love will bless us back in return, even
-
as we get back unto him. Amen. All right, So
-
that's called living by the Prince, by the power of
-
the tithe. Okay. So I won't go too deep because
-
we already talked about it last week, but let me
-
move on. And we also talked about breaking down to
-
four levels for four parts, okay. And we spoke about
-
God's diet about we spoke about his daily bread, we
-
spoke about our tithe, and we spoke about the Leaven.
-
Remember that, okay, So let me just go to it briefly. Okay.
-
God's diet is the vision that we I shed to
-
you earlier, which is feel the earth and have dominion.
-
That is God's diet for extras in the years to come. Okay,
-
even as all the way until training the tea, feel
-
the earth and have dominion. And in simple words, to
-
feel the earth just means wherever you're at. Okay. That
-
means in your marketplace, in your school, in your campus,
-
in your office. That's what it means. To start there,
-
start wherever you are at, Okay. And to have dominion
-
just means to have influence. Somebody say influence. That's what
-
it means, to have influence, to have godly influence over
-
those around you. And so that's the diet that we
-
want to take on this year. And the daily bread
-
is what we download from the Lot every day, okay,
-
his daily braid, that's what we download from the Lord, right,
-
And so when we read the sentence, you know, feel
-
the earth and have dominion, it basically means to make disciples.
-
So that's why we're downloa from the Lot. We ought
-
to make disciples. To have influence, that's what it means, Okay.
-
And the time is our part out come event or
-
what I call it, I will upload to the Lord.
-
That is what we will commit to do. And the
-
commitment is simple. Start with those people whom you're already
-
close with Okay, go so far you go one or
-
two friends, two close friends, start with them. You know,
-
if you're not a believer yet, share the gospel with them.
-
You know, if they're already a believer, you know, have
-
have you know, godly conversations with them, you know, bring
-
them pointed back to the Lord. So that's why it is.
-
There's a commitment. Start with those around you, okay, who
-
has God given you? And finally is the eleven, which
-
is be accountable. Make a list because we are away
-
forgetful people. Do you agree, So make a list. And
-
when you make a list, actually go and do it.
-
Look at the list and do it. Pay and summit
-
to the Lord, and actually go and do it, and
-
see the leaven rise, and we will see the vision
-
come to pass. Amen, come on. So every one of
-
us got a part of play, and that brings us
-
to today's session, which is part six. Okay, So on
-
your books, page forty seven, for those of you look
-
at the books, page forty seven. Okay. So the slide
-
says final thoughts, okay, final thoughts. It should be the
-
vision should be the same for everyone across the broad
-
across the board, okay, same for everyone across the board.
-
That means everyone downloads God's Daily bread, okay. Uh, that
-
means that everyone has got a type, everyone's got a
-
part to play. Uh. You know, we're gonna be more
-
centralized than ever before. You've heard this saying that X
-
church is one church in many locations. You heard that before, right,
-
and so we've got to be more centralized than ever before.
-
So whatever they were saying here, whatever they were practicing here,
-
what is our culture, what is our DNA? Whatever we
-
do here in some money, it's going to be the
-
same if you go to Cyberjaya, if you go to Ampang,
-
and can I go further, even if you go to Australia,
-
even if you go to the UK, if you go
-
to Singapore, if you go to Thailand, it's going to
-
be the same, okay, because it's the DNA in our spirit.
-
It's got to be the same across the board. And
-
you know, in today's day in time, everyone is trying
-
to be more independent. Now I'm trying to be different,
-
do you know this? But I realized that the time
-
has come that the church has to be more united
-
than ever before. We actually have to because the days
-
of evil. You know, the days are more evil than before.
-
Uh you know. There are a lot of fake news
-
or false news, uh you know, and people are something,
-
are confused, they are in they're hungry for the truth.
-
And the church has to be more united than ever before.
-
And actually I see more churches from different denominations also
-
uniting more than ever before. One more excers. We need
-
to also unite more than ever before, because we cannot
-
afford to be like the people in a Book of Judges,
-
whereby everyone did what was right in their own eyes.
-
Think about it. We will be a lot of trouble.
-
Just imagine if you're driving on the road and the
-
law says do whatever you think is right in your eyes. Yeah,
-
I think we will stop driving, you know. So it
-
doesn't work right. So all of us got to be
-
got to be on the same page, same mind, same spirit.
-
We've got to be united to take on God's sire,
-
and it would be the same everywhere across the board.
-
So that's number one. It's got to be the same
-
because we are excers and this is where God is
-
taking us and leading us, and we've got to be
-
we gotta be united. Amen. Second thing is we gotta
-
support each other to get a job done. Now, even
-
though that in church, church is a community, We're never
-
meant to be alone. We can never walk our faith
-
journey alone because you know, if you look in the Bible,
-
in the Book and the Book of Acts, they will
-
tell you that they broke bread, they had fellowship from
-
house to house. You know, they pray for one another, right,
-
they supplied one another's needs. So in community is very
-
necessary in church. Otherwise you will only be praying for yourself, okay,
-
and they will not be anyone praying for you. That's
-
very sad. But in the community, we not only get
-
to pray for ourselves. Okay, nothing, I'm paying for ourselves.
-
Jesus are prayed, you know, for himself. Nothing we I'm
-
playing for ourselves. But we get to pray for one another.
-
How cool is that? And to support one another man
-
so that we can do this together. And so the
-
power of community will get us to places. Unity is
-
really really powerful. And all of us love to be
-
part of a winning team, don't we. When we're winning,
-
when we are thriving, when we're united, everyone loves to
-
be part of the team. And you know, we've got
-
and good friends. We can go far. Amen, we've God
-
and good friends in church, we can go very very far,
-
and we can see the vision come to pass. So
-
remember we're not doing this on our own. Don't go solo.
-
Even your faith journey is never meant to be alone.
-
Find a brother, find a sister. Of course, we encourage
-
male to male, female to female the journey in your
-
faith so that we can grow together and see the
-
job come to pass, or to get the job done.
-
As you say, amen, all right. The third one is
-
store new wine into new wine skin. So all over
-
us has got to have new wine skin. And do
-
you understand the concept of wine skin. When they pour
-
wine into the wine skin, you know, as it as
-
it ferments, it releases gas. Right, And if you pour
-
new wine into old wine skin, which is tough and rigid,
-
it may break, or it may explode or I don't
-
know what else will we do. It cannot contain the
-
new wine. And so you and I need to put
-
on new wine skin. In other words, you've got to
-
open our minds, got to have an open perspective to
-
the things that God is doing in our lives, because
-
there's gonna be a lot of new and radical ideas
-
that God will give to us in order to see
-
the vision come to pass. Remember I said, down over
-
the Lord our daily break. So it's got to give
-
to you and to me radical ideas that come from
-
the Lord on how to reach our neighbor. Maybe it's
-
to bake a cookie and give your neighbor, you know.
-
Maybe is to invite your colleague, uh, you know, and
-
and and maybe it's to get you put us out
-
your fear and you just invite them to come for
-
our anniversary. Whatever it is, the Lord is going to
-
give you vertical ideas and you've got to be open
-
to it. You know. Don't be too too quick to
-
say no, or don't be too quick to say it
-
can't be done. Come on, have new wine skin, because
-
remember God is going to give us the ideas, and
-
as we implement it, God will get all the glory
-
in return. It's not about us. It's not about how
-
smart we are. It's not about how good we are,
-
not how working, how hard working we are. It's all
-
about God and all the glory and praise goes back
-
to Him. So we must change our attitude. And this
-
is how we might change it. We must never say
-
it hasn't been done before this that sound familiar, or
-
it can't be done, Oh it's impossible, you know, or
-
sometimes we hear these things. Oh we hear people say
-
only the West can do it. But how many of
-
you know great things can come out Malaysia? You believe
-
you say? Amen? Come on, X Church was Burva in
-
Malaysia at the time we put it. They don't believe me,
-
you know. I'm like, oh, you're a little faith X
-
Church was birth in Malaysia, not from the UK, not
-
from America. You know. In fact, we are going into
-
Europe now to plan back into those places. And it's
-
not easy. But who said something that is not easy
-
can be done Because we've got all things are possible,
-
Great things and radical things can come out Malaysia. We've
-
got to believe it. We don't want to be history.
-
We want to be history makers so the others can
-
see a reference and follow. And so you heard us
-
say before an ex church, we have this thing called
-
a new normal. Ready becomes the new normal where young
-
people can be involved in church, young people can serve
-
the Lord. I still remember when I tell people that, uh,
-
you know, so many was birth ten years ago. By
-
the grace of God, myself, my twin brother, and two
-
more other girls in the in the core team, we'll
-
be prayed for at least two to three years. And
-
we started a church. When we first started the church,
-
I was twenty three years old. Twenty three years old.
-
As people say it's impossible, but we said, no, We've
-
got all things are possible. So come on, have new
-
wine skin because radical is going to be the new
-
normal for us. Amen, be a thermostat and not a thermometer.
-
We're going to change the atmosphere. We're going to change
-
the situation, turn things around, and remember to give all
-
the back to God. Amen. Philippians. Shepherd three, verse twelve
-
to sixteen says, not that I have already attained or
-
I am already perfected. But I press on that I
-
may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has
-
laid hold of me. Rather, and I do not count
-
myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do forgetting
-
those things which are behind, and reaching forward to those
-
things which are hit. I press toward the goal for
-
the price of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore,
-
let us as many as are mature, have this mind,
-
and if in anything you think otherwise, God will be
-
real even these to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that
-
we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule.
-
Let us be of the same mind. Even so as
-
you can see this verse, you know, it talks about
-
how we got to walk together. We got to do
-
it together. You know, I press on even as we're
-
moving forward. Let's not always be looking back, even as
-
we're moving forward, because you can never drive a car
-
looking at the real mirror. Got to look forward, right
-
And I always tell people that we only look back
-
to remember of God's goodness, his faithfulness, to remember who
-
He was to us and how he's he came to
-
for us during those tough times, because that reminder will
-
give you enough feel or enough guests to go, you know,
-
to act by favor, to live by favor, and to
-
continue to move forward. But we must always look forward
-
and not look behind. And so the phrase in your
-
book says, you're not telling you how to run your business,
-
but how we should run God's business his kingdom. And
-
as a pastor, this is my responsibility to tell you
-
this is how we're going to do it. In Church,
-
it is our responsibility to administer the ten percent that
-
you give unto the Lord. So if you got ten
-
percent of your time, ten percent of your treasure, ten
-
percent of your talent, that's where our job comes in.
-
We administer it not for ourselves, but for God's glory
-
and for his church and for his people. And so
-
we're here to administer the ten percent. The ninety percent
-
is yours. Now, those of you are sitting here and
-
very spiritually, tell me if I thought one hundred percent
-
belongs to Lord, well, yes, of course everything that comes
-
from Him belongs to him, and we are merely stewards. Yes,
-
but I won't go that far, but I'm saying that. Look,
-
we're here to administer the ten percent. Okay, you do
-
what you do with the ninety percent as God has
-
told you, or God has instructed you, or as you
-
felt led in your quiet time in your daily break.
-
You do what you need to do with the ninety percent.
-
We are here to administer the ten percent to be
-
accountable so that God's work will be done and his
-
business will be successful. Amen point, says heins for success.
-
We can be successful fulfilling this vision if we make
-
disciples and in your book, the blank there is make disciples.
-
It goes to follow me. Just in simple words, Okay,
-
make disciples, it goes to follow me. Because I think
-
about it this way. We can only make disciples if
-
we are first a good disciple. Does that make sense
-
to you, Because if we never learned how to be
-
a disciple, we will not be able to make another disciple.
-
So it's as simple as learn how to follow me
-
us like the follow me as Paul says, imitate me
-
as an immediate Christ. Right, So we need to learn
-
how to first be a good disciple. Then we will
-
be able to make disciples. And we're not talking about
-
doing it in big scale, right, Uh, break it down,
-
you know, to smaller groups. Think of the one thing
-
of the two people. You know, make it small in fact,
-
as you say, make it even smaller. You know, to
-
plan a church in every street, in every school. And
-
that is why we never stop planting homes in different
-
parts in semnyay. And actually this week itself, we are
-
launching out into a new homes uh in I think
-
it's called Makota Hills, right, Marcota Hills, right into new areas.
-
And so you know, for the rest of you. If
-
you have houses, you know, you want to open the
-
house in your in your in your neighborhood so that
-
we can break ground. You know, we can go. We
-
can bring church in the sense because it's not a building.
-
We're not we're not bringing the building. Bring the people
-
right into the neighborhood, into your compound, in your village.
-
And the closer it is to people is it is
-
to invite them, right. And so we want to see
-
a church in every street, every school. And sometimes we
-
may not be able to bring people to church, maybe
-
they don't want to travel too far. But if you know,
-
we can bring church to people, we can visit the homes,
-
we get near to them so that they will experienced
-
the Lord for themselves. And in ext church we don't
-
just plan a church. Actually, essentially we are planting a disciple.
-
Think of it this way. A church that is planted
-
for some reason may only be there for a season
-
of time. Because we have had some churches, you know, planted.
-
I think it's like Oxford or some of the other
-
churches whereby the church planter was there for a period
-
of time to three years, and after a while we
-
couldn't find a successor. So the church plan as itself
-
the building. We had to close the service. But if
-
you know, we didn't actually plant a church. We planted
-
a disciple. Because wherever the disciple goes there there will
-
be a church. It's a disciple. So we are planting
-
a disciple really because a disciple work produced leaders, and
-
the leaders will take out the church and eventually they
-
will be continuity. But what I want, I'm trying to
-
say is that we are planting disciples wherever we go,
-
not just a church. Or we are planting disciples two
-
Bible verses. For yous is there on the slide. But
-
Jesus look at them and say to them, with men,
-
this is impossible. But we've God. All things are possible.
-
Somebody say, amen, all things are possible. We've God. Then
-
he said to them, follow me, and I will make
-
you fishes of men. I will make you fiscures of men.
-
Look at a statement very carefully. Jesus says, follow me
-
and I will make you fiaciures of men. He didn't
-
say follow me and you will be features of men.
-
You should know that because it is the Lord himself,
-
God himself. Jesus is said, I will make you. I
-
will make you fires of men. So do not worry.
-
We're not on this alone because God were enaghbles. God
-
will help us to get a job done. God would
-
use us as his vessel to be fishes of men. Amen.
-
And so when you go fishing, how many of you
-
here love fishing? Let me see your hands? It. Don't
-
be shy, it don't be shy. Okay, you love fishing? Wow? Okay, okay,
-
if your hands go up? Okay, okay, how many of
-
you don't like fishing? I don't miss your hand now, Okay,
-
it's all right. Okay, but if okay, let me ask
-
Let me ask you this way. How many of you
-
have went fishing before? You went fishing before? Okay? At
-
least more hands go up? Okay, that's good. Okay. So
-
when you go fishing, right, what is one very important
-
element in your fishing? What do you need? You need
-
a rod? Okay? What else? Bait? Yes, very good, you
-
need a bait. And I remember when I went fishing
-
by my dad in a young age. Right, the bait
-
is very important. You know you need a good bait.
-
You need the right bit and a good bait. Because
-
I don't know requite me if I'm wrong. I'm not
-
expecting this, right, But I find that the days that
-
my dad uses braid as a bait, it's not as
-
successful as the woman touching. I don't know. Is that true?
-
Is it you? I don't know, Okay, So I find
-
it to be true. When I was young, I realized
-
even I used to bread as a bait, not so successful.
-
But when you use the touching right, which I'm very
-
scared off. So I don't do it, ask my father
-
to do it. I just show the word. You know,
-
it's very successful. So we understand it, right, we understand it.
-
The bit is important, and so even as we become
-
facious of men, listen to this, Even if you become
-
facius of men, the bait does not come from us.
-
It's actually the power of God. Come on, you have
-
the best bit on the face of the planet. She's
-
the power of God. What am I referring to you
-
refers to the supernatural, refirst to the anointing. You refirst
-
to signs and wonders and miracles, healings and deligence. That's
-
why I really love you. Know, A simple testimony that
-
JJ and shard because we little faith at such a
-
young age, you know, you can experience the power of God.
-
You know, imagine what he will be when he grows up,
-
you know, and so whenever we hear you know, but
-
the power of God. That's why you see in the
-
Bible that many of the people believed when a miracle
-
was performed, right because they saw it and they knew
-
that there's got to be a supernatural power involved. That
-
man cannot do this, It's impossible.
-
You know.
-
We have heard many, many testimonies, even in church. You know,
-
I think it was last week that the our prayers
-
shared the testimony, right that is, Lady I believe, you know,
-
had the injury and was supposed to go for a surgery,
-
very urgent surgery. Okay, I think apparently it's life shrettening.
-
But later on when he didn't need to go for
-
the surgery and the doctor said that it was, it
-
got gotten well by itself. Even the doctors cannot explain
-
what happened. So I'm gonna say to us, the supernatural
-
is the bait where when people experience the supernatural, they
-
know that God is real. God see heals today, God
-
loves them, and you've got to point them back to
-
the Lord, and God gets all the glory, not us.
-
But the point is is God has never left us alone.
-
He has given us the Holy Spirit and the power
-
of God. That's why in the Lord's prayer at the
-
end of the Lost prayer that you know Jesus prayer,
-
he says, for yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and
-
the glory forever and ever. Amen. So the Kingdom comes first,
-
His kingdom comes first. He gives us the power to
-
do what he has called us to do. And after
-
the miracle has happened, the salvation has happened, we give
-
him back. All the glory goes back to him. And
-
this is where we have an issue, many of us.
-
We have an issue of confidence. We have a lack
-
of confidence. So let me put it this way. How
-
do you feel when you hear of our partners who
-
are heal of cancer? What do you think? How do
-
you feel? You feel? Yeah, very excited? Right? You feel
-
we rife? You feel your favorite gone to none? That
-
another level, and we have actually heard partner's heat of cancer. Actually,
-
this testimony the past Shad in twenty twenty one actually
-
was sharing about two partners who were healed with cancer
-
at that season. And when you hear about a testimony
-
of someone being here of cancer, wouldn't your faith just spike,
-
you know, wouldn't you have someone say excited, or you
-
have a feeling. You know what a feeling is called confidence? Confidence, faith.
-
And so when we see a miracle or supernatural happen,
-
we will have confidence to continue to do it because
-
you've seen it happen again and again and again, and
-
you're very sure it will happen. There is confidence. However,
-
many of us, include myself, sometimes we struggle in this
-
area of confidence because maybe we have not seen the results,
-
or maybe we are not seeing it happen enough, you know,
-
And so we struggle with a confidence because you're not
-
really seen the results. So I want to point to
-
us on the slide. You will see it says conviction
-
comes with revive. And so I pray this year that
-
our hearts will be arrived like never before. We will
-
come to say, Lord, I believe you've called us to
-
be visis of men. You've never left us alone. You've
-
given us the power of God with the supernatural. And
-
I'm gonna start with conviction. I'm going to believe it.
-
I first need to believe it to be convinced. So
-
conviction comes with revival, Clarity comes with revelation. And so
-
that's why we are that's what we're doing today. We're
-
trying to break things down, make it easier to understand,
-
to unpack the vision, and with that revelation we will
-
have clarity. Remember everything that we do in church, it's
-
not for ourselves. It's to save the lost, right. I
-
told you, it's to save the loss, you know. And
-
the goal is to see the entire earth filled with
-
the knowledge of the Lord Right. And so even as
-
you become clear of the vision or the revelation, we
-
will be confident, which is the next point. Confidence comes
-
with results. And even as we continue to do it
-
again and again and again, as we see salvations happen,
-
as we see healings happen, as we see signs and
-
wonders happen in church, and it's possible God's still heals today.
-
You believe it. God still heals today. And when we
-
see the results, we will have confidence. Courage comes with
-
withs of you know, sometimes we may have doubt, we
-
may have things that are unsettled, we may have questions,
-
you know, don't live it to yourself, talk to somebody,
-
bring it to me, or bring it to one of
-
our leaders. And we were discussed. We will have closure.
-
Closures were important or another word is resolution vis of
-
and with resolution there will be courage to move on.
-
Conquer comes with reliance. That means we put our hands together,
-
everyone building their part of the wall. Everyone puts their
-
hands to the plow. We will be able to conquer.
-
We will be able to get the job done to
-
see the vision come to pass. And finally, celebration comes
-
with reward. Even as we continue to work. We will
-
celebrate every salvation, will celebrate every dedication, every life transform,
-
every healing. We give it all back to the Lord. Amen.
-
And so this is what confident leaders look like. Confident leaders.
-
Conviction leads to clarity. Clarity leads to confedence. That's the word.
-
You need to feel it in. Clarity leads to confidence.
-
The clearer we are with the vision. Come on, I'm
-
not just speaking to leaders, I'm speaking to all of
-
us here. The clearer we are with the vision, the
-
more confident we will be. And we're confident. It leads
-
to courage, with courage to conquering, and finally, conquering leads
-
to celebration, and the whole of heaven celebrates when even
-
one soul comes to know of the saving grace of
-
Jesus Christ. Amen, are we ready to be confident? Can
-
we be confident? Believers? Come on with clarity? You know
-
we of course, conviction leads to clarity and clarity to
-
confidence and confidence to courage, courage to conquering and conquering
-
to celebration. John chapter five, verse fourteen. Sorry, first, John
-
chapter five, verse fourteen says, Now, this is the confidence
-
that we have in him. This is the confidence that
-
we have in him. If we ask anything according to
-
his will, he hears us, he hears us. What an
-
amazing verse. This is the confidence that we have in
-
him if you ask anything in accordance to his will. So, friends,
-
how do we know his will? Again? To download the
-
daily pray? Then we'll know his will. Then we'll be
-
able to pray in accordance to his will. And the
-
Bible says that he hears us present tense not he
-
was here, not maybe, but he hears he hears us. Amen.
-
And so pre believers often struggle with conviction. Uh, you know,
-
they often struggle with trying to decide or trying to
-
be fully convinced. Believers were struggling with confidence, and leaders
-
will shrugged with courage. Does that make sense to you?
-
Were believers struggle with conviction? Believers struggle with confidence because
-
sometimes we're not very sure, as all leaders struggle with courage.
-
But I want to say to us show short. Chapter one,
-
verse nine says, be strong and very courageous to all
-
of us. Come on, be strong and very courageous. If
-
you're not sure, you're not confident yet as a believer,
-
make sure you read your Bible more, or make sure
-
you talk to someone, get a mentor get a discipler,
-
ask the right questions so that you will be clear
-
and that you will be convinced, and that you will
-
be confident and courageous. Amen, I pray and hope that
-
you're catching something this morning. And so the next point says,
-
we are not alone. Thanks be to God, we are
-
not alone. We have the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
And God has given us a helper, the best helper
-
that we could ever get, that we could ever have.
-
He is the Holy Spirit. And oftentimes I also when
-
I pray, I confess, I ask for forgiveness from the
-
Holy Spirit, because I think sometimes the Holy Spirit is
-
one of the loneliest persons on earth, because oftentimes you
-
are only praying to Jesus, paying to the Father. But
-
hew me, if you know the Holy Spirit lives in us.
-
He's our helper, our advocate, our comforter. So I'll say,
-
Holy Spirit, forgive me, help me, help me, Holy Spirit,
-
because he is our helper. God has never left us alone.
-
Second four six says, so he answered and said to me,
-
this is the word of the Lord to zah Barbara.
-
Not by mine, no by power, but by my spirit,
-
says the Lord of Hols. I'm going to give you
-
a whole bunch of scriptures. Is there, and you're in
-
your in your book or on the slides. Not by
-
power nor by mind, but by my spirit. The next
-
verse says, if a son asks for a bread from
-
it from any father among you, will he give him
-
a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will
-
he give him a serpent instead of a fish. Or
-
if he asks for an egg, will he offer him
-
a scorpion. If you, then, being evil, know how to
-
give good gifts to your children, how much more will
-
your father, your heavenly Father, give the Holy Spirit to
-
those who asks him. Well, So when I look at
-
this verse, it starts off by saying, if a son
-
asks for bread, okay, if if a son asks for bread,
-
and then he ends by saying, how much more will
-
your heaveny Father give the Holy Spirit to those who
-
ask him? So could it just be in that our
-
daily bread? Come on, are you listening our daily bread?
-
It's the Holy Spirit, because actually we have the Holy
-
Spirit with us every day. And I thought about it.
-
If you ask for our daily brain, it's not just
-
asking for provision, because God can provide for you for
-
a day, but He doesn't want you to just survive
-
for a day. He wants us to thrive. He wants
-
us to be more than a conqueror a man more
-
than overcome us with the help of the Holy Spirit.
-
So with the help of the Holy Spirit, we'll not
-
just get our daily bread for today, but with the
-
help of the Holy Spirit, we have it every day.
-
Holy Spirit will give you the ability and the power.
-
You know, Brain talks about provision, so I'm talking about
-
the Holy Spirit give you the ability to be able
-
to make wealth yourself, not just for ourselves. But we
-
are called we are we are blessed to be a
-
blessing and too others. Amen. So I thought about it
-
really is the power, the Holy Spirit that helps us
-
every day. So could it mean that our daily break
-
really is the Holy Spirit because he is able to
-
help us. Amen. Luke Chapter four, verse eighteen to nineteen, say,
-
it's the spirit of the Lord is upon me because
-
he has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor.
-
He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to became,
-
liberty to the captives, and recovery of side to the blind,
-
to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim
-
the acceptable year of the Lord. Come on, we are
-
anointed with the spirit of the Lord. To what preach
-
the Gospel to the poor. How wonderful is that? Worse
-
the worse preach the God spoke to the poor, healed
-
the broken hearted for king, liberty to the captives, recovery
-
of sight to the blind, and liberty to those who
-
are pressed. So remember, it's not about our own ability.
-
It's not our one power. We can never do any
-
of this with our own strength. The healing, the miracle,
-
the power comes from the Lord. And here were neighbors. Amen.
-
So Don't be afraid to pray for your clique. Don't
-
be afraid to ask your neighbor to pray for your neighbor.
-
Don't be afraid to say to your friend in your class,
-
Jesus loves you. You know God cares for you. Can
-
I pray for you? Don't be afraid, have the confidence,
-
be strong and very courageous. Amen. Act Chapter two, verse
-
sixteen says, but this is what was spoken by the
-
perfect Joe, and he shall come to pass in the
-
last days. Say God, that I will pour out my
-
spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters shall purphesy.
-
Your young man shall see visions, your old man shall
-
dream dreams. And on my man, on my men's men's
-
servants and my maid servants. I pour out my spirit
-
in those days, and they shall purthesize. I will show
-
wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth. Beneath
-
blood and fire and vapor or smoke. The sun shall
-
be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before
-
the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
-
And he shall come to pass that whoever calls on
-
the name of the Lord shall be saved. Whoever calls
-
the name of the Lord shall be saved. But what
-
this verse is basically telling us is that in the
-
last days, And how many have you know that? I
-
believe that we are in the last days more than
-
ever before. We are closer to the second coming of
-
Jesus Christ, more than ever before. Maybe you have heard
-
people say that for decades already, But yes, it's true.
-
We are closer to the coming, the second coming of
-
Jesus Christ. God is pouring out his spirit upon all flesh,
-
not some, not a few, but all that includes you
-
and me, every single person seated in this room. We
-
have the power of the Holy Spirit in us. Amen.
-
First Covintence fourteen, verse twenty four says, but if all
-
prophesy and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in,
-
he is convinced by all. He is convicted by all,
-
and thus the secrets of his heart are revealed, and
-
so falling down on his face, he will worship God
-
and report that God is truly among you. Actually, the
-
context of this verse talks about about the tongues. If
-
you're gonna read it, you know that they're saying that
-
if if unbeliever comes in or pre believer comes in
-
among us and we're purely speaking tongues. They may be
-
confused or they may think they're crazy. But Paul, she's
-
saying that if we all prophesy, come on, if you're
-
all prophesy, even an unbeliever or pre believer, when they
-
hear it, and when they see it happen, they'll be like,
-
God must surely be among you. They will be convinced.
-
They will they will believe. And you know, the probably
-
the question that they're asking in the entire life is
-
that it's God will. Is there God out there? And
-
when they come into our mize and they see us
-
prophesy into into day things. You know, the Bible tells
-
us to speak into things, as to speaking to things
-
to exist as do they did right, And even as
-
you prophesy, these people will see they will believe it
-
because they know that God truly has got to be
-
among us. That is the power. When you and I
-
were prophesied, the next word says Amos eight, verse eleven.
-
Behold the days are coming, says the Lord God, that
-
I was sent a famine on the land, not a
-
femine of bread, nor a turst of for water, but
-
of hearing the words of the Lord. So I want
-
to say to us, there will be a famine, not
-
of bread or food, but of the Word of God.
-
I think we're seeing it more and more these days.
-
There is a femine of the word of God. But
-
I pray that when somebody walks into extra or maybe
-
I should break it down smaller, when somebody meets you
-
in the marketplace, meets you in your classroom, they will
-
hear the word of God. They will not be starved
-
from the word of God, because you and I carry
-
the word of God with us, not just in church,
-
but wherever you are at, in your market base, in
-
your school, your campus, is your family. Come on, let
-
there not be a famine of the word of God
-
in exchers, I say to us, So we got to really,
-
you know, deepen our understanding of the word of God,
-
Deepen our knowledge of the Word of God, Deepen our
-
passion or hunger for the Word of God. We are
-
living in those days with you know that there is
-
a famine of the word of God. And maybe some
-
people have never even heard about the name of Jesus,
-
They never even heard about God who loves them, And
-
maybe they thought that they're forsaken for good, but they're
-
waiting for someone to tell them the truth that God
-
loves them and that God cares for them. Come on,
-
let it come from us, that it come from extras,
-
that it begins with us, and everyone of us have
-
a part to play. Amen. Now that we see this vision,
-
now that we can see, let us speak. I'm gonna
-
say that again. Now that we can see, let us speak.
-
So your book says chat, write, speak, preach, declare, suggests. Yeah,
-
maybe it suggests ideas of how we can speak the
-
word of God to some people. Speay the word of
-
God to someone to reach the more people proclaim the
-
word of God. Converse with your friend, have discussions, Encourage
-
a brother a sister who needs that encouragement. Don't just
-
bring your own words, but bring bring the word of God.
-
Bring the words of knowledge and wisdom from the Bible,
-
because there is plenty of it in the Bible. If
-
you read the Book of Proverbs, there's plenty of it.
-
So noway we can see the vision. Don't just see,
-
don't just hear, but let us speak. And I'm gonna
-
go deeper. We're not just talking about speaking in the
-
sense of talking about one another. But we're talking about prophesying.
-
Somebody say, prophesy, prophesy, because we don't just want to talk.
-
We want to start prophesying. Not that talking is bad, okay,
-
but sometimes when m okay, because talking sometimes if we
-
talk too much, if we discuss too much, we may
-
not get a job done. And what's even worse is
-
that sometimes we talk too much in a sense whereby
-
we gossip in Jewish and believe me, it happens. It
-
does happen. So let's not come to a place whereby
-
we are chatting about things that are you know, that
-
are not good, things are bad. You know, did you
-
hear what this brother did or what their sister did?
-
You know? Let's always give each other the benefit of
-
the doubt. Can we do that? Give each other the
-
benefit of the doubt? Okay? So we don't want to
-
just talk, okay, if but if you have to talk,
-
talk to the good talk the words of God, you know,
-
speak to all our clves of God. The Bible tells us,
-
you know, but we want to profstige and prophesying is
-
very powerful because we are foralthesighing the word of God,
-
and that something will come to pass, and in order
-
to purfect sie, we must know the word of God.
-
Protheside the word of God. Say to the value of
-
dry bones, live or breathe into the value of dry bones,
-
and they shall live again, you know. And so when
-
you hear somebody tell you about something that is difficult
-
or tough, they tell you that there's the situation there
-
in the day end, speak life into them, because life
-
and death is in the power of the tongue. Amen,
-
life and death is in the power of the tongue.
-
So you want to propose side into them. And so
-
I remember those in those days. I have a clique
-
that I'm very close with. He is seeking the Lord.
-
He has come to church many times. He went to
-
my my boss's church because that's nearer to care, something
-
that is quite far. And he brings his kids to church.
-
And oftentimes we check over over meals. Right, It's very common.
-
And then sometimes there are days that he feels discourage
-
or feels down, and I will the opportunity to share him,
-
to encourage him to prophecy into his life. And so
-
I want to just encourage you. We always have those opportunities. One,
-
you know, don't just talk, but learn how to prophesy
-
into their life, prophsize life into their situation. Amen, And
-
so five piece for you, even as we close purpose
-
prophesie or purpose every day, not just our purpose, but
-
prophesy God's purpose into our lives every single day. And
-
one way to do that is to pray the Lord's Prayer.
-
And so may I encourage us to pray the Lord's
-
Prayer every day daily. I think the teacher that executes
-
don day right, pray the Lord's Prayer every single day.
-
And sometimes as adults we also then to forget. You know,
-
I tried it. You know, sometimes I get momentum, I
-
get to pray for a couple of days, maybe a week,
-
and after all, after a while, you forget. So I
-
encourage us. Come on, if you if you want, if
-
you want one simple tic home point today, pray the
-
lords Prayer every day because in the Lord's Prayer it's
-
very complete. Our father who won in heaven, Hello, would
-
be your name, your kingdom. Come, you will be done
-
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this
-
day our daily prayed, and forgive us our debts. As
-
we forgive our debtors. Leaders tant into temptation, but deliver
-
us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom,
-
the Power, the glory forever and ever. Amen. So pray
-
it every day. Pray it every day, and protesize God's
-
purposes into our lives. Second piece power, he says, speak
-
that God is with me and all things are possible.
-
So if you're going to a challenging time, then propheside
-
into your situation. Furtheside the power of God into your situation.
-
So I like it when Jajon shed the testimony about
-
the finger that was injured, and the parents came and
-
prayed with him. So they prophesied the power of God
-
and God's healing power over his hand or his finger.
-
And that's why you and I need to do take
-
every opportunity to purposely and to speak healing to someone
-
else's life, and to be very honest with you. I
-
sometimes I'm very shy about that, especially with my cliques
-
who are pree believers sharing me. I got these sick
-
nurse and everything. I tend to say, you know, God
-
can hear you. Oh, I tend to say, I'll pray
-
for you, But I find it very difficult to pray
-
for them on the spot, very difficult so you're not alone.
-
I'm also similar like that. I want to encourage you
-
and encourage me and encourage all of us. We can
-
do it. Come on, we can at least try. All
-
things are possible. And I still remember, actually one of
-
my coliques needed to go to a surgery and when
-
he shared my boss, my boss actually prayed for her
-
in the office, and his prayer was very specific. His
-
prayer was that you would not need to go for
-
the surgery, and actually he did. He didn't have to
-
after that. And so really we need to be challenged
-
that way, you know. And so I pray to you
-
and I will have enough courage to pray and to
-
prophesye into the situations of those around us. Remember the
-
bait is the power of God, not not our own strength,
-
but the power of God. Amen. Plan is God's diet,
-
the daily break, the tithe and eleaven. As I shard
-
to you earlier, the diet our daily break as you
-
download on the Lord. Tithe is our commitment as we
-
upload to the Lord. And the eleven is make a list,
-
see it come to pass, take action, and just rise
-
to your call. The next piece is prosper prophesy, God's
-
blessing over our lives and over those around us. Praise.
-
And even as you experience his blessing, praise, give him thanks.
-
Don't keep it to yourself. And the last one is
-
pass on. Keep seeing it, keep saying it, keep doing it.
-
And so we started by saying that. We started these
-
vision by saying, we all need to see the same thing. Okay,
-
we all need to see the same thing, because seeing
-
is the key. Seeing is the key. We all need
-
to say the same thing because saying is a doll
-
And we all need to do the same thing because
-
doing is the entrance to the newness of God and
-
the miracles of God. So come on, extra, even as
-
we have seen the vision, even as we have heard
-
the vision, we got to say the same thing. And
-
even as we say the same thing. We don't want
-
just to talk in our mouths, but we want to
-
do it. We want to be do us of the
-
world of God, and not just hear us. Can I
-
hear good? Amen? We all need to be in one spirit,
-
in the same vision, wherever we are at. I reminded
-
in the verses A close when you invite a worship
-
team to come out, this is my last verse. I
-
think it's not under slide have a cook to Verse
-
two says right, write the vision and make it plain
-
on tablets that he may run who reads it. So
-
I'm got to put our challenge or encouragement to my
-
leaders or my church in eximoney, maybe we need to
-
start feeling some boards, signboards or walls with our vision,
-
our direction for a year so that everyone who sees
-
it and reads it, here's the vision, will run with it.
-
Don't you want that? I think we need that. I
-
think we need that. We really need it. And I say, Lord,
-
help us, Holy Spirit, help us, because it's going to
-
be work. I know some of my leaders are already laughing.
-
It's going to be work. But we can do this.
-
Even we've got all things are possible. So that wraps
-
up the Unpacking Division series. And remember, if you forgot
-
everything I just said, or if you forgot everything that
-
we see in the entire Unpacking series, you need to
-
remember the vision. The vision is to see the entire
-
earth filled with the knowledge of the glory of the
-
Lord as the waters cover the sea. In simple terms,
-
just look around you, who's around you, in your workplace,
-
in your office, in your school, in your campus. Everyone
-
needs to hear of the saving grays of Jesus Christ.
-
We're going to be accountable because we have one thousand
-
people in access today. And if every one thousand person
-
just brings one person to church, did you know we
-
were double? We were double And if you think about it,
-
bringing one person doesn't sound too difficult. It's possible. We've
-
got all things are possible. We have of the Holy Spirit.
-
And are you ready to see the vision come to pass?
-
Beginning with Malaysia, beginning with sermon YEA, beginning with the
-
villagers and you know the different neighborhoods in SEMONYA, beginning
-
with our campus just opposite us in Nottingham. Let it
-
begin here. Let Vivor begin here. Revivor begins with you
-
and with me. Even as our hearts have revived, we
-
will begin to do what God has called us to
-
do and to see His vision come to pass. Amen.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
-

-
that this week is going to be a good week,
-
a hit for you. God bless
