  1. You're listening to a message to go from X Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Let me say that, for we are going through a

  4. series called Unpacking the Vision of X Church. Unpacking the

  5. Vision of X Church, right, and this will be a

  6. six weekend series, and we are on weekend number two. Okay,

  7. So to help us, there is a booklet or a

  8. guide book which Joseph has just came past me. In

  9. the book for as it looks like this, right. So

  10. if you were not here last Sunday and you're a

  11. partner in church, I would encourage you to lift up

  12. your hands and the host will pass you a booklet.

  13. So I think that some here, probably those who are

  14. in KG three may not have received it. Can just

  15. raise up your hands and can I get the host

  16. to help. So it's important for us to have this

  17. booklet if you've not received it, and it will help

  18. us to take notes. There limited copies, so if you

  19. have taken one last Sunday, don't ask for another one.

  20. Now take notes and then go back and fill up

  21. the booklet. Okay, thanks yourself. Okay, sorry one Okay, if

  22. you need a booklet, raise up your hands.

  23. Post will help you.

  24. This booklet will help the structure what we need to understand.

  25. About the vision of X Church.

  26. So just to bring contexts, we are in the second

  27. part of a six series on unpacking the Vision of X.

  28. So there's four more. The next four will be in January. Okay,

  29. so next weekend, in the following weekend we will we

  30. will do Christmas and a team will be on Christmas.

  31. Then in January we'll come back to unpacking the vision.

  32. Okay. Session two.

  33. All right, if you guys were here last Sunday, give

  34. me a whoo if you had a good time. Okay, yeah,

  35. I guess people had a good time with Jason. Jason

  36. started it off. So all across ex Church, in every

  37. service plan or worship plan, ministry service that we have,

  38. everyone's doing the same thing at the same time.

  39. Okay.

  40. So we have this unity all across our even services

  41. better in Eilai or so Money or PJ or in Subang. Okay,

  42. So let's do a quick recap of what happened last Sunday.

  43. Last Sunday, we learned this we unpacked to understand and undertake.

  44. So we unpacked to understand. So okay, first of all,

  45. in your nose there are blanks, So we're all students

  46. again this morning. If you need a pen, can also

  47. raise your hands. And in general, the words that are

  48. raid on the slides will be things you need to

  49. fill up if they are blanks there. But I'm not

  50. gonna give you the answers. You guys just figure it

  51. out on your own Lotkay. I'll go through as best

  52. I can without having anyone fall asleep this morning. But

  53. for us to internalize unpeck and more than understand, we

  54. need to undertake. So it's for us to then bring

  55. these words into our own lives and bring it to

  56. a practical application.

  57. Okay.

  58. The two main verses we look at for the Big

  59. Vision of X is Harbercook two fourteen and Genesis.

  60. One twenty eight.

  61. Okay, I'll read those two verses now, it's not the screens.

  62. If you have your Bibles or your phones, you can

  63. also turn to this Bible verse. Harbercook two fourteen says this, for.

  64. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the

  65. glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

  66. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the

  67. glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

  68. Genesis one twenty eight says this, Then God bless them,

  69. and God say to them, be fruitful and multiply, fill

  70. the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish

  71. of the sea, over the birds of the air, and

  72. over every living thing that moves on the earth. So

  73. those are the two anchor versus in the Bible, which

  74. gives us the vision of what XS is like. Right,

  75. So as a recap let me say this verse, this

  76. word feel the earth, fill the earth.

  77. So what is earth for you? Guys? The world?

  78. The earth is so big, right, you know? But what

  79. is earth for you? I think this is how we

  80. can break it down, meaning to say, like your earth

  81. can be your campus or your school. Your earth can

  82. be ex clang, we're all in next tank. Now, this

  83. is our little earth. We need to be fruitful and

  84. multiply here, have dominion, have influence. The earth can be

  85. sol family, right, my family that I need to see

  86. to be to be filled with the knowledge the glory

  87. of God. So what is that earth for you this morning?

  88. And and the word dominion dominion? Right just now we

  89. heard that word dominion. What it actually means is influence.

  90. So you see that influence right. I take this to

  91. very similar to how the Bible calls us to be

  92. salt and light. Right, were called to be Christians are

  93. called to be salt and light. So we need to

  94. influence the earth that is around us, right, We need

  95. to be the agents that make that earth experience the

  96. knowledge of the glory of God have influence over the

  97. lives around us. When we live out the fullness and

  98. abundant life of God and with God, this will influence

  99. the people around us. So this is what I catch

  100. from this when we live out in that fullness. So

  101. when we actually live out the fullness of what God

  102. has caused us to do, we are fulfilling this scripture.

  103. When we live in the fullness of the abundance that

  104. God has called us to be. Right John ten ten,

  105. you know the enemy comes to still can't destroy, But

  106. I have come to give you an abundant life, an

  107. abundant life. So when we live that, we will influence

  108. the people around us. Okay, that's just a recap. So

  109. what are we going through today? So last Sunday, next

  110. night we went I think you guys went through four

  111. or five piece right, the mission of X Church. So

  112. today we will focus on p Number five, which is

  113. prepare everyone say prepare okay, Okay, so that's a lot

  114. of cover.

  115. I want to do this in three parts.

  116. Number one, I want to help us understand what is

  117. my or our role.

  118. In fulfilling the mission of X church.

  119. Right, okay, So we all of us here have said

  120. yes to be a partner in X.

  121. We call this our home. We call KG one, K

  122. you do KG three, exact? KG four? No? Right, Yeah,

  123. that's old man, It is so bad.

  124. Yeah, we could all right, I have nothing to say

  125. about it. Oh, these guys are our homies, right we

  126. call we call them sometimes you call it more than friends, right,

  127. people that walk through life with us. This is where

  128. we are, and if we say yes to that, we

  129. want to fulfill this united mission that we have in

  130. X Church. Okay, I'll do that in the first part. Okay,

  131. the second part I'll remind you again later. I want

  132. to re emphasize some numbers in X. Okay, So so

  133. this I know the next dog or some numbers thing

  134. going on? Right, they read numbers, and then so here's

  135. what we have. Numbers, but in a sense where the

  136. numbers gives us a picture of what the vision is

  137. X of X will look like. Okay, and number three,

  138. I will just summarize everything by reminding us how where

  139. to focus on. Okay, so let's get into it. The

  140. big mission of X next, like the big mission of X.

  141. The big vision vision of.

  142. X is what I read earlier, Fill the earth, be fruitful,

  143. and multiply have dominion. Okay, that was the recap.

  144. The big mission is to make disciples.

  145. So what's the difference between vision and mission? I'm like,

  146. does it even matter? I think it matters for us

  147. to just define it very briefly.

  148. Left, So vision is vision, right or I have this

  149. vision or this company Apple has this vision. The vision

  150. in a sense gives you an idea of where we

  151. are going. Okay, I have this vision of being marathon runner,

  152. you know, under three hours one day. So I have

  153. this vision in my mind, right then? Or for X,

  154. the vision is fill the earth, be fruitful, and multiply

  155. have the minion.

  156. Okay.

  157. The vision describes a future you hope to create or

  158. what does success look like in the future? Okay, So,

  159. as the Christian, what does God call me to be

  160. and what does it look like in the future. It's

  161. very important to first have this because without vision, the

  162. people perish if we can't imagine what the future is like,

  163. then we might not be going anywhere. So that's the vision.

  164. What is mission? Mission is how do we get there?

  165. What do we do to get there? Mission explains your

  166. purpose today and how you work towards the vision. So

  167. mission is what do we do every day right now

  168. to get to our vision? Right in summary? Vision is

  169. a destination. Mission is the path of getting there. Right So,

  170. after church today you want to go to Chili pan

  171. Me for lunch. The vision is going to enjoy the

  172. ball of Chilipan Me.

  173. Right.

  174. Wow.

  175. The mission is how do we get there? Make sure

  176. everyone gets into the car. Everyone has a place in

  177. the car. Which how do we drive? Is electric vehicle

  178. or you know, gas vehicle? How do we get to

  179. the destination?

  180. Okay?

  181. So how do we get to the vision of fill

  182. the earth? Be fruitful and multiply and have the minion.

  183. That's what we're going to cover today. And the mission

  184. is we get there by making disciples.

  185. Okay.

  186. So we may not be able to fulfill the big

  187. vision as an individual. I can't possibly as one person

  188. fulfill the big vision of filling the earth with the

  189. knowledge of the glory of the Lord, But what we

  190. could do is be fruitful and multiply where we are at.

  191. And what this looks like is three points. Okay, so

  192. a quick one, not fruitful and multiply. I think I

  193. feel like God has been asking me this question lately.

  194. Have I been fruitful?

  195. Huh? No? This guy he didn't. No, no fourth one coming. No.

  196. I think God has asking me this question lately, like

  197. have you been fruitful? And if you remember, if you remember,

  198. in a Book of Mark, there's this story where Jesus

  199. saw a fig tree and he was hungry.

  200. Jesus is hungry.

  201. He saw a fig tree from Afar, and then he

  202. wanted to go to the fig tree and take a

  203. fruit to eat.

  204. But he saw the.

  205. Fig tree full of green leaves. Looks so healthy, but

  206. the zero fruit. And what did Jesus.

  207. He cursed the He cursed the victory.

  208. You know, may may no one ever eat fruit from

  209. you ever again?

  210. Right?

  211. And then you know, the next day the disciples came back,

  212. they saw the victory.

  213. All shriveled up. Yeah.

  214. I think this shows that Jesus finds fruitfulness as very important. Okay,

  215. and to a certain extent, is showing what the Pharisees

  216. were Last time, the Pharisees looked like they were healthy.

  217. It looked like they were full of life, doing what

  218. is right in God's eyes.

  219. So green the leaves, very full, but no fruit.

  220. No fruit, but the key to Jesus, he wants to

  221. see the fruit. He wants to see the fruit. So

  222. it's a very sobering question to ask myself what is

  223. my fruit? And I'm asking that question to you guys

  224. today as well. So how do we fulfill that mission

  225. and vision of being fruitful and multiplying?

  226. So this, this.

  227. Bunch of notes came of course from past the Kenneth

  228. reminding Earth as X. This is our mission and I

  229. want to remind us this morning as well. How do

  230. we do this? Number one, We need to make disciples,

  231. need to make disciples. So this has been our focus

  232. for twenty twenty five. Our team this year is disciple first.

  233. So we all know this very very We know this

  234. very well now. But not only make disciples, making disciples

  235. that make the difference. Okay, So make the difference means

  236. what I said earlier, have dominion have influenced like salt

  237. and light of the earth.

  238. Right?

  239. Okay? So Number one, make disciples.

  240. Number two, produce leaders, produce leaders or pioneers. The fullness

  241. of the word discipleship or disciples is not only a follower, okay,

  242. is also a leader.

  243. I'll say that again.

  244. If we want to say yes, I'm a true disciple

  245. of Christ, I'm not only a follower of Christ. I

  246. will then be also a leader. So there's a statement

  247. here that says turning every pre believer to be a

  248. partner means you're committed to the process. Every partner to

  249. be a pioneer, which is a leader, and every pioneer

  250. to be a parent.

  251. So what does a parent do. A parent care and a.

  252. Parent also has the ability to multiply produce children.

  253. Right.

  254. So so that is the reminder today we are called

  255. to make disciples and making disciples also means producing leaders.

  256. Right.

  257. So let's break this break this down further to the

  258. next light. With this statement, plant a disciple produce a leader.

  259. Plant the disciples produce a leader. So you see a

  260. few names there. We got Pasta Lasius in Botswana, began

  261. Osaka Pasta Joel in Melbourne. And the reminder this morning

  262. is how this works is we need to remember that

  263. God works by.

  264. Planting seeds, so x Klang x Clang.

  265. Who was the first seed in x Clang, John Raj, Right,

  266. John Raj was the first seed in x Klang. And

  267. then of course now we have Jason and Jazz who

  268. are pioneering and being that seed. So they were planted

  269. into a town called Glang, which is now have grown

  270. to what we see today on a weekly basis all

  271. the lives here.

  272. Right.

  273. Similarly, Benji's planted in Osaka, right, He's see it went

  274. a bit furtherler right to another country, and he's planted

  275. as a person into this nation, and now we can

  276. see roots taking shape and the tree growing. We have

  277. seen three or four different lives who have been transformed

  278. by that planting of that person.

  279. Right.

  280. So the reminder is God plants lives to gain lives.

  281. I think it's important to understand this because if you

  282. remember a couple of weeks last month, we did a

  283. devotion in homes from the book the Five W's, and

  284. there was this statement the man before the manual, the

  285. man before the manual, meaning God has this great vision

  286. to fill the earth with his glory. Right, but he's

  287. not going to implement just a system, right, He's not

  288. going to say, follow this microsoftristis five system and the

  289. earth will be established. Right, But he uses a man

  290. to do that. And Jesus was that first seed that

  291. transformed the world. So God plants lives to gain lives.

  292. So we need to see us ourselves as seeds as well.

  293. Where and where and why is God planting me in

  294. this place where I am now? And how can I

  295. continue to grow and be a pioneer and be a

  296. leader in my position to have dominion and influence over

  297. the world and earth around me. Okay, it's people that

  298. reach out to other people. It's people that reach out

  299. to other people. So if we have a desire to

  300. see more of Malaysia saved and receiving Christ, receiving the gospel,

  301. hearing the good news, then we have to look at

  302. ourselves as seats.

  303. Right.

  304. So it just came to me like Angi and Mins

  305. and also being planted in Sydney, right. I don't know,

  306. maybe they'll continue on the legacy of living out this vision,

  307. feeling the earth, that little corner of the world Sydney,

  308. Australia where Nimo went to to to be a blessing

  309. there right, a seat being planted there and I'm sure

  310. they have many testaments of how God can.

  311. Do that in their lives.

  312. And another thing about this is when you plant a seed, right,

  313. it takes time to grow. When you plant a seed,

  314. it takes time to grow. I think it will be

  315. the next light, but the initial process is the roots

  316. taking shape, right, the roots going down, having a strong

  317. anchor before the tree continues to grow. So we need

  318. to remember that if we are seeing God using us

  319. in this scenario, right, I'll probably use Visiness NG as

  320. another example. I don't know when they are being planted

  321. in Sydney, as their lives are there. It will take

  322. a while to establish the roots, establish the foundation of

  323. who they are as a family there and the influence

  324. that they have. And it's okay, it's okay in that.

  325. I don't know how long it will take, but eventually

  326. they will need to be fruits. They'll need to be fruits.

  327. I saw this very clearly in the plants I plan

  328. in my own house. You know, I told it before

  329. my dad wanted My dad, who is a botanist, told me, okay,

  330. can plant this whole row of plants. He'll be very nice,

  331. You'll be boushy, will grow very tall. But he said,

  332. I will get you the plants. So I thought, it's

  333. going to come ready first day, come plant the plants

  334. is going to be like my height, I can block

  335. off the neighbors.

  336. Really, he came over to my house.

  337. He gave me little seedlings and they were like about

  338. this tall. So two years later, I'm still waiting. I mean,

  339. it's much taller than before. But that's a process in planting.

  340. And we need to remember when God plants a person, Yes,

  341. the initial stake is for roots to take root, establish

  342. his roots. So that's in the next light, the root

  343. is going deeper into the world. Okay, So going back

  344. to what we are doing now, we are talking about

  345. the mission of being fruitful and multiply, multiplying, and number one,

  346. we need to make disciples. Number two, we need to

  347. produce leaders. And number three, how we produce leaders. How

  348. we get there is by being a Daniel. Raise and

  349. released Daniels into the marketplace. Is there any Daniels here?

  350. All right?

  351. Oh yeah, it's Denzel, Danzel Daniels. So long, raise and

  352. released Daniels into the marketplace. What what are Daniels? Who

  353. was Daniel in the Bible? What are Daniels. What does

  354. Daniel represent. Daniels are actually kind of like all of

  355. us here. Right, Daniel was not a priest or profit

  356. working in a temple. Right, he was a senior government

  357. leader serving the public or marketplace, okay, of two kingdoms,

  358. Babylon and Pressia.

  359. So that's basically all of us are.

  360. We are not so called full time workers in church

  361. serving church on a daily basis, but we are in

  362. our in our own extent, agents in the marketplace, serving

  363. different kings and kingdoms.

  364. Right.

  365. And Daniel was taken to excel trained to work in

  366. the royal administration of Babylon, where he became a top

  367. and top administrator advisor under multiple kings.

  368. So that is what Daniel is.

  369. So when this this statement here raised and released Daniels

  370. into the marketplace, it's actually a calling for all of

  371. us to go out into the marketplace, be as effective

  372. as how Daniel was, and we'll go through more in

  373. his life in a short while. Be effective Daniels in

  374. the marketplace, become become like the high performers in our

  375. different marketplaces, and then bring influence of what God wants

  376. us to do there.

  377. Okay.

  378. So that's a summary of how fulfilling the mission will

  379. look like in our lives. So just a recap. The

  380. overall picture is this number one. The vision is to

  381. have dominion, become influencers, to fill the earth with the glory,

  382. the knowledge of the glory of God and the mission.

  383. How we get there is discipleship disciple first, and the

  384. outcome of doing it is actually that direction is being

  385. a Daniel in our lives. Okay, so I'm gonna close

  386. the first part surely, but I'll say a few more

  387. things next, Like God doesn't want us to be ex

  388. church as a brand. I think this is really important

  389. and we should remember this if you forget anything else.

  390. Let's come back here for a short while and focus.

  391. God doesn't want us to be ex church as a brand.

  392. He wants us to be a lifestyle. What that means, right,

  393. is this thing where pastor calls it X off X off. Okay,

  394. tracking me for a while, stay before. So instead of

  395. ex church, we should think about it as X off,

  396. X of what, XT of love, acts of care, ex

  397. of trust, act of grace, acts of service, kindness, thankfulness, friendship, joy.

  398. I just wrote all these words that are so good

  399. and will be a blessing to many people. If we

  400. become just an ex church, we move on to becoming

  401. ex of so to live out X that will reach

  402. pre believers in a sense where this morning we shouldn't

  403. be so focused on just X church here right on

  404. a Sunday, But we need to move to a place

  405. where it becomes X of kindness, X of love, act

  406. of joy, X of grace. Because if we don't do this,

  407. then people will not experience who Christ is in a marketplace. Right,

  408. So there is what being Daniels in a marketplace means.

  409. So move on from ex church to X off.

  410. Okay, and when we do that next like we will

  411. be able to connect connect with people because it makes

  412. sense to people when they experience this acts of love.

  413. Right.

  414. We have many jargons in church. Try sometimes we you

  415. know Holy Spirit, and and make grace be with you now,

  416. pray for you or have faith you know God bless you,

  417. which are all really good things. And sometimes people that

  418. have not been this in this environment they won't understand.

  419. So you told me to you told me God's grace

  420. be upon me today?

  421. Like what does it mean? Who is God? What is grace? Right?

  422. Is it a girl? Girl's names.

  423. But what people make sense of, what people understand is

  424. when they experience that acts of love. Right, So we

  425. need to make connections. And when we make connections, we

  426. make sense to them. So love makes sense to them,

  427. Generosity makes sense, punctuality makes sense.

  428. Right, Like if you're a student.

  429. Or a worker in a company and your testimony or

  430. your your track record shows excellence already, then everyone on

  431. a team really understand. Hey, why is this person like

  432. always on time and it's always happy. Why when the

  433. boss say, hey, you're gonna work on Saturday or so,

  434. it's like, heymen, yeah, we'll do.

  435. You know why?

  436. So then you start to ask why you like that?

  437. Why are you always joyful? Where does your source of

  438. happiness come from?

  439. You know? So it makes sense to them.

  440. Then when we share the gospel is because of Jesus,

  441. because of Christ. Right, So that is the reminder this morning,

  442. we need to connect to make sense.

  443. Got it? Okay, let's go.

  444. So that's the first part, a reminder that the vision

  445. is for us to feel the earth, to multiply, to

  446. have dominion. That's where we want to hit. That's where

  447. we are going and how we get there. The mission

  448. is to make disciples to produce leaders, right and to

  449. be Daniels in the marketplace.

  450. Cool.

  451. Next part, let's go reviewing some numbers. So this is

  452. where the numbers come in. And Hauberkook two to two

  453. says this. Then the Lord answered me and said, write

  454. the vision and make it plain on tablets that he

  455. may run who reads it. So what we're doing today

  456. right now in the six weeks is we are trying

  457. to write and re establish and remind us all about

  458. the vision of X.

  459. Okay.

  460. But more importantly we need to remember that we need

  461. to run with the vision.

  462. Right.

  463. So that statement down there, we don't want you to

  464. just know the vision, but run with the vision, okay,

  465. just a reminder. So so this is a I would say,

  466. another angle of what this vision is like.

  467. This is where the numbers come in. Okay, track with me.

  468. Number one, this number ten.

  469. Focus for next ten years. The focus for the next

  470. ten years from twenty twenty to twenty to thirty is

  471. we are in this era as a church of being Daniels.

  472. Okay.

  473. So we went from being a Joseph church dreaming maybe

  474. going through different challenges, going through a process of growing,

  475. to now going to a church of being a Daniel

  476. means being an effective leader in the marketplace. Okay, So

  477. what this is is next light These number ten comes

  478. from the story of Daniel and Daniel in the start

  479. of the of the book is he was asked to

  480. he was asked to eat food that was offered to idols, right,

  481. and in that day it was it goes against his

  482. convictions as a Jewish person, right, as a person of

  483. Jewish faith. So what Daniel did was very wise. He

  484. didn't just rebel against the leadership which he was serving,

  485. but he told the leaders of that day, baby long

  486. that he said, this test earth for ten days, Test

  487. Earth for ten days.

  488. So we are in that season now.

  489. Where so this is a bit prophetic, right, pastor speaking

  490. this over our church. We're in this season from twenty

  491. twenty to twenty thirty, where in these ten years God

  492. is asking us to not only be firm and stand

  493. up on our convictions as Christians, okay, but also be

  494. tested to be shown that we are strong and come

  495. out of the process being stronger. Because if you remember

  496. in Daniel, what happened after the ten days, he and

  497. his friends they fasted the Daniel Fast, so they did

  498. not eat food offered to idols and the meat and

  499. the drinks that everyone else had. But he came out

  500. looking The Bible says, they look fat, fatter.

  501. And more healthy and stronger.

  502. Right, So this is that prophetic word over us in

  503. twenty twenty five, twenty six, that in these ten days,

  504. which implies ten years for us, is for us to

  505. not only be tested and to get our house in order,

  506. our convictions in order, but in the process, after these

  507. ten years, we're going to come out looking better, fatter, plumb,

  508. and juicy and strong and shiny and amazing.

  509. That is in the spirit luck in the spirit. Okay,

  510. in spirit.

  511. That is the prophetic word over our lives in twenty thirty.

  512. So we can see that as a timeframe, right, you know,

  513. and we need to be aware of where we're and

  514. what is God doing now so we can follow along

  515. with him. Okay, So maybe in twenty thirty will look

  516. maybe or like and you can say, like, hey, don't

  517. recognize any of them, is so buffing, Like Oh yeah,

  518. that's the prophetic word over us in a spiritual sense.

  519. Okay.

  520. So yeah, next light, the next set of numbers will

  521. look at So there's a time frame ten years for

  522. us to be tested and be found being better. The

  523. next slide here is this number one thousand times one thousand, right,

  524. So what's one thousand times one thousand, one million?

  525. Six zeros? Right? Six zeros and one one.

  526. Let me say that this is not a mathematical equation first,

  527. but it's a vision that we have on where we're going. Okay,

  528. So just have that in mind. So one thousand times

  529. one thousand for today doesn't mean one million, okay, just

  530. like one plus one doesn't equal to To explain this,

  531. I will want to share the story of how this

  532. number came about. If you have been with X for

  533. many years, you might already know this story. If you

  534. are new, I think I will adults will share very

  535. openly what happened now because I was there.

  536. I was there during this process. I think many of

  537. you were there also.

  538. So this, this vision one thousand times one thousand, came

  539. when we lost the Glenn Mary building. Okay, So there

  540. was a time in X many many years ago whereas

  541. it was only one worship service in Subang, Okay, I

  542. can't really imagine that now, of course not.

  543. We're so spraad out right.

  544. And during that time it was probably thirteen to fourteen

  545. years ago.

  546. Okay, that's how long.

  547. Right, During that time, there were about one thousand people.

  548. That's where the first one thousand came from. And we

  549. as a church, we were in the process of pursuing

  550. a building in Glenn, Mary. It was an old factory

  551. that we want to convert to become our dream home, right,

  552. our dream home as a church, having nice stage, nice

  553. aircorn and lights and sound and excellent theater sitting. And

  554. I was there, and I also remember like on the

  555. first few times where we were like, okay, you know,

  556. we made the initial payment, everyone gave, We had faith

  557. giving into this dream that we had. And there was

  558. one night where they caught all of us to go

  559. and like clean the church or so.

  560. Yeah. So so we.

  561. All went there and I think I wasn't even married yet,

  562. that wasn't married yet. I remember chunko like uh like

  563. leaves and like weed on the ground to clear the place.

  564. H So, So I have those memories. And we actually

  565. met there so once or twice once right as leaders

  566. or church church, right, Yeah, we actually met there. So

  567. imagine like being an empty warehouse, super hot ground or

  568. dusty just being plastic chairs go and like have faith

  569. to have silvice there. Right, it was a very big place.

  570. I could imagine how nice it was after renovation. So

  571. we were there in that place, and then suddenly we

  572. lost the building. We lost the building, we lost the

  573. investment we put in, we lost the the dream. It

  574. was actually very painful, right because for for months and

  575. probably a year, we're building up to, Oh, God, it's

  576. going to give us this place. It's going to be

  577. so beautiful. We're going to be able to meet there,

  578. invite our friends, have Christmas parties there.

  579. And we lost the building.

  580. And I think I think Pastor Kenneth to keep the

  581. worse because he was leading us towards there. We only

  582. not just lose the building, we lost financially as well, right,

  583. And it was a disappointment. It was a massive disappointment

  584. to everyone in church, so painful. I think it sort

  585. of became news in among the churches in Malaysia, so like,

  586. allow this church, I don't know what they do then

  587. they lost the building?

  588. How you I mean from the outsideler.

  589. But the statement here is what was a disappointment was

  590. an appointment by God.

  591. Okay, so at that moment.

  592. God began to reveal that process of pain gave us

  593. the vision of one thousand times one thousand. Okay, struck

  594. me for a while. So instead of building this one monument,

  595. First of all, I'm not saying that having a very

  596. nice building as a church is a wrong thing. I

  597. know many other churches have that. It's like, it's just

  598. not who we are called to be as a church.

  599. Okay.

  600. So God has caught many a literatures to have that

  601. excellence and we totally support them.

  602. But for us, that process that.

  603. We went through birth out this vision that God has

  604. called us as X.

  605. Okay, so you go to the next light.

  606. The building was lost, but we found our vision and

  607. God said this, don't build a cathedral for me, but

  608. spread out right. So you can ask many questions that

  609. are like, why do we even have to lose the building,

  610. Why do we have to lose financially? You know, why

  611. did God bring us through that process? But the correct

  612. question to us is, actually, God, through this process of disappointment,

  613. what are you teaching us? And from that we got

  614. one thousand times one thousand, and essentially this is what

  615. it is. Don't build a cathedral, don't build a monument.

  616. Nothing wrong with that, But for us as X we

  617. are not called to build one monument, right. We are

  618. called to be a movement, a movement spread out scattered

  619. about this few weeks ago. We're called to be scattered

  620. and be sold in a light in many different places.

  621. So that is what one thousand times one thousand is

  622. right next light to Pasta Kenneth receiving that word from God.

  623. This is what we can see. If Pasta Kenneth can

  624. be used by God to build one thousand people at

  625. that time, then God can do it again with every

  626. person that was there.

  627. So that is the vision. You guys are part of

  628. this vision, right.

  629. I think now we are more than one thousand people,

  630. maybe thousand and five or more, spread across different places

  631. in Malaysia and across the globe. But it's Earth today

  632. in twenty twenty five, going to twenty twenty six, fulfilling

  633. that calling that God has given us. From that one

  634. thousand people, each one can then go and become like

  635. a Pastor Kenneth. So John Rach is fulfilling that I

  636. mean when he when he started exclaiming, and now Jason

  637. and Jazz are fulfilling that vision here past the Lazarus

  638. in Botswana. Right, he's fulfilling that vision. I'm going to

  639. become that agent in that earth and that world whereb

  640. I am over there.

  641. Right.

  642. You know, if you're a student in Taylor's you need

  643. you're gonna fulfill that vision as well. Right, Not just

  644. a cathedral, not just a monument, but I'll do a

  645. movement wherever I'm at.

  646. Okay, So that's the vision.

  647. So we want we dream that God will use every

  648. person in X the same way. Okay, next night, the

  649. one thousand that we already have cannot just remain as

  650. they are, but they are to be made disciples and

  651. then leaders and finally daniels that will be sent out

  652. to fill the earth with the knowledge of the globe

  653. of the Lord. So that is what one thousand times

  654. one thousand means. The next part about this is the

  655. next one thousand, right, So you see now the rid

  656. color being on the other side. So we are we are,

  657. we have the first one thousand ready and we're in

  658. the process of what the next one thousand will look like.

  659. And I just want to summarize by saying this that

  660. the next one thousand is what God can do. Okay,

  661. So if you really do the mathematical equation one k

  662. times one k be goes. The one million is a

  663. super big number, right. If I had that much money,

  664. I'll be quite happy.

  665. Right.

  666. But the first one thousand is our part. The next

  667. one thousand is what God can do miraculously.

  668. Okay. So our focus is just taking care of what

  669. we have already. Okay.

  670. So next light bottom line of discipleship is followed me

  671. as I follow Christ and next life, we will then

  672. see the next one thousand being fulfilled come to pass

  673. if we keep going. We keep going, making disciples, planting churches,

  674. producing leasers, leaders, and raising Daniels. Okay, So Daniel one

  675. twenty says this Daniel was found to be ten times

  676. better than the rest. Right, So this is also the

  677. same story we said earlier. Daniel chose to stand firm

  678. with his conviction as a Jewish believer, and what happened

  679. was after the ten days, he was not only found,

  680. he not only survived, but he was ten times better.

  681. So this is also a prophetic word for us that

  682. God is bringing us to a place of ten times

  683. abandon life ten acts right, from being just about one

  684. thousand to then being ten thousand and ten years in

  685. twenty thirty. That's the prophetic word that is being spoken

  686. over us.

  687. Amen.

  688. Okay, So I'm gonna end shortly. I've got three more

  689. slides and I want to wrap this up. And how

  690. we'll wrap it up today is after saying all that,

  691. so many things around the last two weekends, how do

  692. we focus and where do we focus?

  693. What are things we can do now? Okay? Next life?

  694. So the focus of the year looking into next year.

  695. Is we need to first of all, take stock of

  696. the first one thousand, take stock of all that God

  697. has already given to us, and draw their best. So

  698. there are three questions in your note, and it's really

  699. a self reflection question. What has God given us?

  700. Or you.

  701. Think about it in your own time, reflect in your

  702. own time? What has God given me.

  703. Already?

  704. What lives he has already given me? Who has He

  705. given in my care? What talents has God given me?

  706. What gift things has God given me?

  707. Right?

  708. The next question, why do you think He's given us

  709. him or her or them?

  710. Right?

  711. So, if you're a homes leader here, what has God

  712. given me? Who has God given me? And why are

  713. these people in my care? Question number three, what is

  714. the best we can do to bring out the best

  715. in them? What is the best we can do to

  716. bring out the best in them? So we can look

  717. at it at so many different angles, because all of

  718. us wear many different hats today. We're a parent in

  719. our families, we are leaders in our organizations. We could

  720. be a leader here in church as well. The focus

  721. is for us to take stock of what we have today. Okay,

  722. So an illustration of this is let's say you have

  723. not already have a house. God has given me a house,

  724. and I have four rooms in the house right, right,

  725. and then, so I need to be a good stord

  726. of that.

  727. But I want a bigger house. I want a house

  728. with ten rooms, right, six small rooms?

  729. But if I haven't fully utilized my space, I'm only

  730. using two rooms, you know, one for my kid.

  731. Want to host homes or something.

  732. It's just an illustration, right, And the other two rooms

  733. are left vacant.

  734. Not being used.

  735. Then my house is not fully utilize to its fullness.

  736. So why would God then give me more rooms?

  737. Right?

  738. We look at this pattern in scripture on and on.

  739. God will only give us more if we are faithful

  740. with what He has already given us before. Right, The

  741. parable of the talents. Each of them were faithful with

  742. their own talent one, three, or five. Right, So we

  743. need to be faithful with what we already have. Take stop,

  744. look at what God has given us today before the

  745. multiplication can happen.

  746. Next light. So this just repeats what I say.

  747. God will not give us more if we have not

  748. been faithful with what He has already given to us.

  749. We need to use all the talents God has given

  750. us and not bury it in the ground.

  751. Right, So when we do the possible, we take stuck.

  752. God will do the impossible. Man the last light for

  753. today and as I get the band to come up.

  754. So this is just a reminder that.

  755. At least at this second part of the series, having

  756. said all that was said, our mission is to make disciples,

  757. and God uses the man, not just a manual, not

  758. just a system. God uses me as a person to

  759. influence many. And didn't I then need to also produce

  760. leaders right and become Daniels in the marketplace. And to

  761. start off if we haven't been doing that, is to

  762. be faithful in what God has already given to me today,

  763. what God has already Who are the lives God has

  764. given to me today? What are the talents and gives

  765. that God has been given to me today, and I

  766. need to be faithful with the first one thousand and

  767. then God will do the rest and the multiplication. So

  768. that's where were at at this second part of the series.

  769. I think if you have been in asks for many years,

  770. all these vision statements are very familiar to us.

  771. So I want to say.

  772. That that the leadership and God has been very consistent

  773. in where He's leading us as a church. It hasn't

  774. changed for many years, and it will not change until

  775. we see God's word fulfill both in our lives and

  776. in the church. So He is a faithful God and

  777. we need to continue to do our own part in

  778. the bigger picture to be faithful stewards.

  779. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  780. information on our church, please visit aschurch do Org. We

  782. this week is going to be a good week. I
