You're listening to a message to go from X Church.
-
We hope this message will light up your day.
-
So we will be continuing on a series that we've
-
been doing in church. It's called the Unpacking series, where
-
we unpack what the vision of X church is. All right, so,
-
how many of y'all brought your books? Hopefully you brought
-
your books. If you if you have not received the book,
-
you can raise your hand. You can get it as well.
-
And so why is it important to uh go through
-
this unpacking of the vision of X church?
-
Okay, even as I was preparing.
-
This this yesterday this morning and just reflecting, so you'll
-
be thinking that, hey, this is the vision of X church.
-
What does that have to do with me personally? And
-
especially at the start of the year, what does that
-
have to do with me personally? You know because usually
-
start of the year, you if you when I check
-
my YouTube play not playlist, YouTube feed, I think yesterday
-
two days ago. Right, everything is about yes your twenty
-
twenty six goals, about how you're going to achieve your goals,
-
how to do well? You know, I think the algorithm
-
just kicked in new place. And then you come to church,
-
you also will be expecting that, Hey, what does God
-
have in Stall for me? You know, even as a
-
take on this year, what are his promises? And you
-
know that going through this unpacking series directly has an
-
impact on you as well personally, has an impact on
-
you and me personally, especially if we call ACT Church
-
our church, because the reason why we call ACT Church
-
our church is we believe that God has brought us here.
-
And when God has brought us here, it means that
-
the words that are shared here, the vision that is
-
shared here, has direct implications in our lives, not only
-
in church, but also in our marketplace, in our families,
-
in our homes. So we shouldn't compartmentalize whatever we learn
-
in church and just say, Okay, the vision of the
-
church is just for church, just important for Sunday. But
-
actually the vision of the church is what God has
-
in Stall for church corporately as well as us individually.
-
So that's why it's very important because if you are here,
-
if we believe that God has placed you here in
-
this church, and we miss out on what God's promises
-
or direction is for the church, and then we will
-
miss it for our lives individually as well, and then
-
it will be quite. It will be quite sad if
-
we missed the boat. So that's why it's very important
-
in terms of it. So that's just a bit of context.
-
So when I realized that, I realized that, ay, there
-
is so much more.
-
That we can experience God in this year. Okay.
-
So the first two sharings were done on early December.
-
How many of y'all remember, you know, start of the year.
-
Don't start with Liza. Okay. But okay, it's tough, okay,
-
because the first two weeks of the December seems so
-
long ago.
-
You know.
-
Then you had Christmas, you had New Year's so so
-
many things going on. So I thought I would do
-
just a brief refresher, So the unpacking the Vision of
-
X Church.
-
So this is the third session, okay, so next light.
-
Okay, Actually there was another slide which I sent earlier,
-
I mean after that as well. Uh now mine, let
-
me let me read us through this, okay, So unpacking
-
the Church the vision. First of all, we need to
-
know what is the vision? Do you'll remember what is
-
the vision? So the vision if you go into.
-
Your book. Okay, so the book here is, let me
-
see okay, page nine. Let's look at page nine.
-
So the big vision of X Church is on page
-
nine and it is there. Maybe somebody can just read
-
it up if you see it, page nine.
-
The big vision.
-
Yep, So that is the big vision of actions. Okay,
-
that's the big vision. So in for me to paraphrase
-
it is that we want everyone to know God and
-
to experience His glory.
-
So Haber Cooke two fourteen.
-
That's the big vision for the earth to be filled
-
with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as
-
the waters cover the sea.
-
Okay. So that's the big vision.
-
And then you know, after we have the big vision,
-
we have the mission. So that's the vision, right, So
-
next is the mission. So is the mission of AC church.
-
You can turn to page thirteen. So this I think
-
pasta Julian shared on this on the second week. So
-
what is the mission of EXT Church? Anyone can read
-
that out. It's in the orange box. Yeah, making disciples
-
that make the difference. That is the mission. Okay, there
-
is the mission of action. So the vision is Haber
-
Cook two fourteen. And the mission is to make disciples. Okay,
-
so even as we are that is the vision and
-
the mission. So to unpack the vision, if you turn
-
to page five.
-
There were the.
-
Seven piece, the seven piece at the top there, so
-
it was prayer, passion, purpose, practice.
-
Prepare, plan and power.
-
Right, so those were the seven piece on how we
-
are going to unpack the vision and the mission because
-
the vision seems very very big. The vision that God
-
has given the act Church, it seems very very big.
-
And the vision that God has given to each of
-
us individually seems very very big. That means to make
-
God famous on earth. In a nutshell, that's the whole vision.
-
So we need to unpack it because you know, when
-
you go to work, right, how many of y'all have
-
already started work this year?
-
Y'all started ready? How many of y'all are starting tomorrow?
-
Okay, so you start tomorrow right, you go into office
-
and then you might be having a town hall or
-
you might be having some management meeting anytime this month
-
where they say that, hey, the vision of this year
-
is to hit this number.
-
And you look at the number.
-
Every year the number gets bigger and bigger, right, the number,
-
the big number is shed there and then the management
-
says that, okay, this is the number. Now is how
-
are we going to achieve that number? So to achieve
-
that number, we need to unpack. We need to know, Okay,
-
what do we need to achieve? First, second, third, and
-
then slowly we will work towards reaching that big goal.
-
Similar to this vision, the vision here is to make
-
Jesus famous on all the earth. It seems like a
-
very very big vision. How we're going to do it
-
is through the mission, which is to make disciples, and
-
then from there we need to then break it down further.
-
Okay, So today we'll.
-
Be touching on one of the piece, you know, the
-
seven piece you're just now mentioned in page five Prayer, Passion, Purpose, Practice.
-
So now we will be touching on prepare. Okay, prepare,
-
so prepare. It is taken from Daniel, chapter two, and
-
it is about a display of God's power.
-
Okay, So can I go to the next slide. So
-
for those of us.
-
Who are probably familiar, Daniel was actually a prisoner of war.
-
He was captured by the Baby Unions. He and his
-
friends were captured by the baby Unions. And because they
-
were one of the wisest and smartest people of the Jews,
-
they were captured by the baby Unions and they were
-
called to serve the king because they are very smart,
-
they are strong, and they were also good looking. So
-
they wanted the best of the Israelites to serve the Babyloons.
-
So that is who Daniel was, and he became very.
-
Wise that he served as one of the wise men
-
to the king. But unfortunately, this king is very unreasonable. Okay,
-
the Babylonian king is very unreasonable. How unreasonable was he?
-
He had a dream and then he asked all his
-
wise men, tell me what my dream is and tell
-
me what it means.
-
That is how.
-
Unreasonable King Nebukeneza was. So can you imagine? Are you
-
able to tell somebody what their dreams were? You know
-
you can't. Sometimes you don't even remember your own dreams. Right,
-
But now this king is saying, you tell me what
-
my dream was first, and then you tell me what's
-
the meaning. If not, all of you will be put
-
to death. That's crazy. You think you want to hit
-
your kpi? Very difficult? This kpi like it difficult if
-
the KPI was one or zero. You either tell me
-
my dream and what it means, or you die. There's
-
no in between.
-
Okay.
-
So what did Daniel do? Daniel he decided to pray.
-
He did what he did best, which was seek God. Okay,
-
so this is something you can learn from Daniel. And
-
when he seek, when he sought God, God actually revealed
-
to him the dream. So it's written here in Daniel
-
two twenty seven twenty eight. Daniel answered in the presence
-
of the king and said, the secret which the king
-
has demanded, the wise man, the astrologers, and the magicians
-
and the zoothsayers cannot declare to the king.
-
But there is a God.
-
In heaven who reveals secrets, and he has made known
-
to King Nebukanessa what will be in the latter days.
-
And then David revealed to King Nebukana his whole dream
-
and what it actually meant. And because of that, King
-
Nebukanesa worshiped God and say that, hey, everyone needs to
-
worship this God, because only this God revealed the true.
-
Meaning of my dream. So what is important here is
-
in Daniel right the word.
-
The key word which Daniel spoke to the king is
-
he spoke the word of God. He spoke the words
-
that God gave him.
-
Not fear, not doubt, not worry.
-
But he thought God God gave him the right words
-
to speak, and he spoke it. So in other words,
-
Daniel prophesie. So that is what you call as prophecy.
-
Daniel prophesied, you know, and prophesying.
-
Is basically speaking what God has said out loud. Okay,
-
So next.
-
Line, Daniel had to tell what the dream was, and
-
then the interpretation of the dream, which was impossible for
-
men but only possible for God the supernatural. So even
-
as Daniel prophesied, God was glorified right, and of course
-
all the other wise men who even did not other
-
wise men as well, you know, all the other wise
-
men also would be put to death if the dream
-
was not revealed. But because of Daniel, because he thought God,
-
God gave him the right words to say, and Daniel prophesied,
-
there was a miraculous deliverance. All of them didn't have
-
to die, but instead Daniel was even given more favor
-
from men as well. So when we prophesy, there will
-
be next line, there will be a supernatural move of God.
-
There will be miracles that will take place.
-
There will be the.
-
Spirit of God moving like never before, and the gift
-
of the Spirit will manifest and come to pass. So
-
how does this again, the word prophesy right was actually
-
the team in ext Church in twenty twenty one. If
-
y'all were around at that time, it was actually the
-
team in ex Church in twenty twenty one. But it
-
does not mean that now in twenty twenty six. This
-
is not relevant because every year when we have a
-
team in church, we.
-
Grow more and more.
-
That means, right, we learn it and then we apply
-
it for the years to come. So when we learn
-
this in twenty twenty one, this prophesy. And when we prophesy,
-
we see God's supernatural work in us. We see the
-
miracles of God, we see the Spirit of God moving,
-
and we see the gift of the Spirit manifest and
-
come the past. This can happen in your life as well,
-
not only in church, because in the natural right when
-
it is all of us are prophesying. Do you believe
-
that all of us are prophesying? It depends what you're prophesying.
-
You're either prophesying God's goodness or you're prophesying death. You know,
-
like for example, you get was this, Wow, the price
-
of things are going up? Dala, that's prophesying as well.
-
You know, I guess this traffic jamma is going to
-
be really bad tomorrow Monday. It's going to be really
-
just now. I just came into chest as I saw
-
somebody holding her bag. I hate Mondays. I'm like, why
-
are you prophesy? It's Sunday? You know you it's Sunday.
-
It's a great day, but you're carrying a back. I
-
hate Monday. You're like, you already foresee what is going
-
to happen. And you know right that there is a
-
saying whether you can or you can't, you are right.
-
Whether you think you can or you think you can't,
-
you are right because what you prophesy, well then dictate
-
whether the direction that you're moving in. So it's very
-
important all of us are prophesying. It's just what are
-
we prophesying? And that's why the vision of ext church,
-
then God has given to us one of it.
-
When we prepare.
-
To execute the vision and also the mission, we need
-
to prophesy and speak life, not only here in church,
-
but in your families, in your marketplace, in sickness and
-
in health, in all circumstances. And when we prophesy God's promises,
-
this is what happens.
-
The supernatural will move, you know, right when.
-
We prophesize prophesied death means we are prophesying unbelief. You know,
-
when we prophesy unbelief, it means there is no faith.
-
When there is no faith, God will not move. So
-
when we prophesy is we are speaking it into life.
-
And this is not wishful thinking. You know.
-
Sometimes you have the one where you I've got what's
-
the word you have to Yeah, it is the power
-
of positive thinking. You know, you call it into existence. Yeah,
-
you manifest are the word manifest? You manifested. You want
-
to be rich, you manifested you.
-
You you have your vision board, you have your all.
-
This is not wrong, you know, but it needs to
-
be based on the word of God. You know, what
-
are God's promises? What is God's direction for you? You know,
-
if we are going through difficult situations, different challenges, what
-
is God's word?
-
And then you take that and you prophesy.
-
And you say, God, you said that all things are
-
possible to Christ, who strengthens me. I can do all
-
things through Christ who strengthens me. That's what I'm going
-
to prophesy on my Monday. On my Monday, I'm going
-
to say I am more than a conqueror, you know,
-
over my finances I'm going to prophesy God, you will
-
supply all my needs according to your richest in glory.
-
When you prophesy that you are speaking fourth life and
-
you are saying, God, I need you to move and
-
only then God will be pleased and faith will arise
-
in you, and then there will be a breakthrough. So
-
how this is If we get this right in the
-
first week of the year, we speak fourth life starting
-
from the start of the year.
-
How powerful is that?
-
Because this is the type of thing that we need
-
to learn when things are good. Because when things go bad,
-
you can recall this. You know, when you go for
-
an exam, right, you don't study during the exam. You
-
study before the exam, so when the exam comes, you
-
are able to excel in the exam. Same thing goes
-
for this. When we learn about this thing about prophesying.
-
We should learn this at the start because we know
-
that the year is going to go up, down, left, right, everywhere.
-
But God's promises are yes and email right. So when
-
we prophesy, Okay, next line, Daniel opened his mouth and
-
became a vessel, a mouthpiece of God to speak the
-
words of God. Use our mouth to become a mouthpiece
-
of God. Where do you need to be a mouthpiece
-
of God? Do you need to be a mouthpiece of
-
God in church? You need to be a mouthpiece of
-
God where God's presence needs to be invited into, which
-
is outside of church. Daniel prophesied Daniel.
-
Who was Daniel?
-
He's a prisoner of war and that and he was
-
prophesying life in the prison in while he was a prisoner,
-
and he spoke the words of God. And even through
-
the worst circumstances, God was still favoring him. So wherever
-
God has placed you, wherever you are right now. That's
-
why I say, take Monday, you know, take Monday, Take tomorrow.
-
I also told myself that, hey, Monday is going to
-
be a good day. Monday should be our favorite day. Wow,
-
you know, can we can we be that kind of radical?
-
You know everyone because Friday is everyone's favorite day.
-
Okay, But if we really want to be radical, and
-
you say that, hey, all of us are how many
-
of us are serving in church full time?
-
None? Right here? None? All of us.
-
All of us have jobs in the marketplace or your homemakers.
-
None of us are serving in the church full time.
-
So it means God has placed us in wherever we
-
need to be, and the mission that He has given
-
us starts on a Monday. If we say we hate Monday,
-
were like, man, you like? That means we are poised
-
for failure instead of success.
-
So instead we should say, wow, Monday, bring it on.
-
That's radical, but it requires a shift, and the shift
-
comes from prophesying. So find a few verses in the
-
Bible that says that speaks forth life into our spirit,
-
you know, and say that God, you have a plan
-
and purpose for me, and your plans and purposes are good.
-
Declare that take one or two promises of God. When
-
you're driving to work and you're stuck in the gym,
-
I think I'm going to do that. Take a few
-
verses and just con youre declare that speak fourth life.
-
So when when you go into your workplace, you are ready.
-
You are ready to do what to become the mouth
-
peace of God and to speak the words of God,
-
and then there will be supernatural, miraculous moving in your
-
marketplace or wherever your schools, wherever it is. So I
-
think I will I wanted to teach this to my
-
kids as well, because my kids have been on a
-
holiday for so long and then you're.
-
Like, oh, Monday back to school.
-
But then I'm like, if we can teach our kids there,
-
They're like, hey, Monday back to school means you're back
-
on mission. You know you have a purpose and you're
-
going there to achieve God's purposes for you, and you
-
speak for life. Wow, then you will forward to every Monday. Right, Okay,
-
next light, So the theme prophecy was downloaded from the Lord,
-
and all of us must learn and speak. Be ready
-
to speak the word of God in its right and
-
proper time. This is key, right and proper time. But
-
if we do not know the word of God, we can't.
-
So we have to.
-
That's why I continuously read the Word of God claim
-
his promises. And then when we are going through different
-
trials and tribulations, challenges, we can speak it. Okay, what
-
kind of words? Words of life, words of blessing, words
-
of encouragement, words of peace, words of way, healing, deliverance, breakthrough, prophecy, discernment,
-
knowledge and wisdom. Why do you need all these kind
-
of what kind of words? Because the offices opposite of
-
this is what you know. Maybe you're having lunch with
-
your colleagues, there will be words of death. There might
-
be words of curse speaking bad about other people. There
-
might be words of discouragement you didn't do a good job.
-
There might be.
-
Words of hatred in a war, you know, instead of peace,
-
there might be words of sickness, bad reports that there
-
would be words of instead of breakthrough, words that will
-
break cause us to be chained down. And sometimes and
-
all the time, we need knowledge and wisdom. So especially
-
when we are going through tough times, we need knowledge
-
and wisdom. When there is lack of knowledge and lack
-
of wisdom, what do we need to do? We need
-
to prophesy. So anytime there's a lack of peace, there's
-
a lack of joy, lack of knowledge, lack of discernment,
-
lack of faith, what do we do? We don't affirm it.
-
We prophesy instead God's promises. Okay, and then God will
-
show off his power. But will it begins with us
-
speaking it? For can you imagine this if if your
-
kids spoke like this? Wow, I mean as a parenter,
-
you know, like right now, we were.
-
Our kids.
-
So we're trying to trying to win them off some
-
of the screen time stuff like that, you know, some
-
of the shows and because we feel that not very good.
-
But then they are speaking for uh.
-
Death, It's like I'm going to die. It's so boring.
-
I can't do anything, you know, and stuff like that
-
because they're going through different for them, this is the biggest.
-
Challenge that they have right now in their life, you know.
-
But then, for example, if they we told them that, hey,
-
we're doing this, it's for your own good. You know,
-
all of us have heard that from our parents, Like
-
what do you mean for own good? We don't really
-
understand it. Okay, But if we understand that, hey, our
-
parents mean one the best for us, you know. And
-
and then you say, God, mom and dad, I don't understand,
-
but I believe that you have the best in store
-
for me. I believe you want what is good for
-
me any man. My kid tells me that I give
-
him everything. Really what more God? You know, because they
-
are view.
-
It's the same. Do we view God as God?
-
I believe that you are good, and I believe you
-
have the best in store for me. I may not understand,
-
but I will prophesy your goodness.
-
When you do that.
-
Wow, God will move mightily because it is who we
-
view God as.
-
Okay, next.
-
So God is calling us to prepare. It's not our
-
responsibility to bring the rain. It is our responsibility to
-
bring the umbrella. So we can't bring the rain, right.
-
But the Malay saying is what Sadia Khan bayomblum Hujan.
-
You know, you get your umbrella ready before it rains.
-
But when it rains and we are not, we do
-
not have an umbrella. What happens We get wet. So
-
we need to always right now is the time to prepare.
-
If twenty twenty six the team is supposed to be
-
a revival, we are supposed to prepare because when revival happens,
-
when it rains, it palls, and if we are not ready,
-
we will be soaked, you know. But we have to
-
be prepared. So God is telling us not to worry
-
about the numbers. Numbers here being the number of people
-
in church, or even in your workplace, even in your marketplace,
-
even at your home, but be concerned and focused on
-
doing our part.
-
Don't worry about God doing his part.
-
We need to do our part, and our part is
-
to speak fourth life. And in order to speak forth life,
-
we need to know God. We need to read his word.
-
We need to draw closer to him. Okay, So next,
-
so preparation for the journey ahead? What will we need
-
for the journey ahead? We need the five seas? Okay,
-
so the five seas. The first sea is conviction, next life.
-
So the first c is conviction. If we don't believe,
-
how will we even begin?
-
Okay?
-
So what does this mean? How many believe that eating
-
healthy is good?
-
How many belief? How many are convicted?
-
You know, all of us believe, all of us believe,
-
but convicted, right, you know, conviction the word here conviction
-
is a deeper meaning. So the first line is if
-
we don't believe, how will we even begin?
-
Okay?
-
You know when a lot so right now at our
-
current stage, right, all of our friends are like forties
-
and stuff like that, right, all of us suddenly going
-
for medical checkup and then medical checkup, you know, and
-
and then suddenly I see a lot of my friends
-
suddenly getting very healthy, suddenly into workout, eating healthy.
-
Yeah, like, why what happened? Medical report?
-
So before medical report, you don't believe, it's important, say
-
I believe, but not strong enough. There is no motivation
-
strong enough. But the medical report, the doctors said, if
-
you do not change your lifestyle, you cannot see your grandkids.
-
You know, some of them they said, if you do
-
not change your lifestyle, you cannot see your grandkids. That
-
suddenly gave them a conviction. They're like, wow, I am
-
convicted in my heart of I believe that I need
-
to change my lifestyle.
-
And then right from.
-
Living an unhealthy life, right suddenly they are super healthy,
-
super fit because they have conviction and it needs to
-
be internalized. We look for external motivations, but you know,
-
external motivations come and go, but if it's internal, that
-
is the thing that keeps us going. So it starts
-
with believing, and our motto is helping people believe. Hence
-
we need to catch this vision. So vision can't be thought,
-
it must be caught. So our vision again for experts,
-
is to make Jesus famous. Why because we believe that
-
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There's
-
no way to the Father except through him. And if
-
we believe that, are we convicted, then we will make
-
that vision happen.
-
You know.
-
So conviction is very important. It is more than hate.
-
Knowledge is more than hate knowledge. The second part is condition. Next,
-
so conditions is centralized. So this is from Judges twenty one,
-
verse twenty five. In those days, there were no king
-
in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
-
So if we have a conviction, then we need to
-
move together, you know, centralized. So in Judges right, in
-
Israel there was no king. Everyone did what was right
-
in his own eyes. So everyone has its own interpretation.
-
This is my version of truth. This is my truth.
-
You know, it's quite funny. There is no more the
-
truth anymore. This is my truth. That is your truth.
-
That's how people are speaking nowadays. But we need to
-
centralize it. Okay, thanks, So a church, family or organization
-
cannot move forward if we are not united, if we
-
don't see the same things, if we don't believe the
-
same things, if we don't catch the same things. It's
-
important to centralize and set the conditions of how things
-
should be done so that we are all clear and
-
understand the same thing, not to be left to everyone's
-
understanding of what is right in their own eyes. So
-
why we're doing this is just to get hey, everyone,
-
this is a common understanding, same as a company. Once
-
the goal is clear and we get everyone, hey guys,
-
this is what we are all committed to we all agree,
-
then it is very easy to move forward.
-
Okay, next cooperation.
-
So the third one is commitment. So centralized is when okay,
-
the information is passed down, everyone gets a common understanding,
-
everyone agreed. Then we need to cooperate. So conviction comes
-
from the Lord. Again, conviction comes from God. I cannot force.
-
Nobody can force, you know, convictions come from God. Condition
-
and centralizing come from the leaders. So that's why the
-
management will pass the information down and say that hey,
-
this is the standardized this is what we agree upon
-
and stuff. However, even if there are convictions and conditions,
-
if there is no co operation and commitment from everyone,
-
we have nothing.
-
This is where all of us come into play. We
-
need to cooperate.
-
Right.
-
It's the same.
-
As a unit in the army. If you watched war movies,
-
you know a unit in an army. You have the
-
medic you have the communications experts, you have the sniper,
-
you have the infantry. Each of them has their role
-
to play. If one does not play the role, the
-
squad or that unit will die. In the same way,
-
all of us has our part to play, and we
-
need to cooperate to make this happen.
-
So a vision is nothing without provision.
-
God always provides by providing the people, and His plan
-
has always been you and me.
-
So that's why all of us and in being here,
-
we catching the vision.
-
And by prophesizing, we are enhancing the talents that God
-
has given to us. God has given all of us talents,
-
and we need to enhance that talents and use it
-
for His glory. And that's how.
-
The whole earth will be full of the knowledge of God.
-
Okay, next, community, So God does not want us to
-
move forward alone or we work in isolation. So for example,
-
the example giving here is losing weight together with others.
-
You know, if you do it together, right, it's easier. Right,
-
You're going to work out together, you go and play together,
-
eat together.
-
You know.
-
You know, there's this thing called trauma bonding.
-
Have you heard of trauma bonding?
-
When you're going through tough times together, it's easier also,
-
and you draw people closer because of a shared experience,
-
a shared vision, a shat goal.
-
So don't do it alone.
-
So that's why here in Exclaim we are a community,
-
and we are part of a bigger community with is
-
ex Chra. So sometimes when you are going through tough times, Hey,
-
leverage on community.
-
And when you are going through a good time or
-
you are.
-
Riding high on God's promises, then you can help those
-
who are in need as well. And that's how a
-
community and community everyone in that community.
-
Like all ships rise with the tide.
-
Have you heard that saying? So when the tide rises,
-
all the ships rise. Same as a community. If a community,
-
the whole community builds together, everyone in that community grows.
-
So community equals support and we need each other, I
-
need you and you need. A community that truly cares
-
is a community that.
-
Is truly safe.
-
So a big part of community is communication. And let's
-
get better at this, okay. So, and the motivation of
-
community is love.
-
Next.
-
Yeah, the motivation of community is love. So you do
-
all these things not for selfish ambition. But if you
-
do this for everyone's benefit, if everyone gives, everyone gets.
-
You've heard this right.
-
But if everyone gets nobody and nobody gives, then it's
-
it's not a community.
-
Okay.
-
Next, So the five things we can learn about love
-
is love looks, listens, lens, leads, and leaves. So leaves,
-
meaning that what's your legacy worth following?
-
Okay, so and moving on so it's easier.
-
Have you experienced the next line? Have you experienced this
-
kind of love before?
-
So this is something we.
-
Aspire to as extra to build a community that builds each.
-
Other up, and it is built with love.
-
Right, we have the best intentions for everyone and because
-
God loved, so the commandments is to love God and
-
love people. So that's what our community is based on.
-
Right. And the final see is next.
-
So college or training, because it's written in five seats,
-
so that's why you put their college.
-
So it is to equip each of us.
-
So we have a vision, we have a mission, but
-
we need to equip each other, equip one another as well,
-
so those who know can teach and then those who
-
teach can do. Okay, So make disciples, produce leaders, raise
-
and release daniels into the marketplace. So that's very important.
-
We need to raise and release daniels into the marketplace
-
because that's where.
-
We make God famous. Okay.
-
So next, so this is so even as I draw
-
to us the end, right, it's the ingredients of discipleship.
-
So what do we make? How do we make disciples?
-
So there's three So the first one is next, follow me,
-
so follow me. It's not about following a program, but
-
it's about people following people. So we're not following following ideas.
-
If we don't practice what we preach, we can't ask
-
people to follow us. So we only can't ask people
-
follow us if we are following God. Right, so we
-
know how to do something because we have seen others
-
do it, for example, how they worship, lead, how they chair,
-
and then then we can then ask people to like, hey,
-
follow me even as I follow Christ.
-
Next one is feed my sheep. So feed my sheep is.
-
We need to continuously, even as Jesus told Peter, feed
-
my sheep, So that is we need to tell, preach
-
the word, equip people with the promises of God so
-
that they know that they will continue to grow. Why
-
do you feed somebody? You feed somebody so that they grow? Okay,
-
And the final one is fishes of men. So once
-
we feed someone, that person can in turn in turn
-
become fishes of men and lead others as well. So
-
let's not get spiritually fat and only be on the
-
receiving end. But let's exercise our faith by giving true
-
making disciples.
-
Right, so probably can go to the second last light.
-
So in summarya right, it's like this, how do we
-
disciple or how do we do discipleship? You educate first
-
of all, I do you watch? Then you equip, I
-
do you help? Third one you do I help? And
-
the last one is you do I watch? We do
-
this with our kids as well. First of all, I
-
do you watch? For example, you wash the car with them?
-
I do?
-
First you watch, then you tell, okay, I do you help?
-
You know they'll be like, okay, you spray the water.
-
Next is okay, you go and do it. I will
-
come and help you. And finally, if you do it successfully,
-
you'll get your kid washing your car for you. But
-
I mean that's just an example. But that's how it
-
is that we raise other people up so that you
-
get to learn more and you're able to grow and
-
do more as well. Okay, So the last slide is this,
-
so do plass teach? Don't just teach, and don't do
-
practice what we preach. We need to practice what we preach,
-
all right, So it's very easy that you just tell
-
people what to do just teach, but we ourselves don't
-
do it. You know, have you gone to a gym before?
-
And then you want to hire a PT. And then
-
you look at the PT like, are you sure you're
-
a PT? Of course you don't. You don't practice what
-
you preach because he doesn't look like super fit. You
-
know you won't hire that PT, right, you want to
-
hire somebody who like, wow, you look like super fit. Okay,
-
I think I will spend my money and hire you
-
because you know what you're talking about out because I
-
can see the results.
-
And that's the same way that we have to do it.
-
When we teach. We have to make sure that we
-
are doing.
-
We practice what we preach. Okay, but it's an investment.
-
It's ten percent of our time and talent. So even
-
as we draw towards the close, I get the band up.
-
So this morning, I think the main thing that we
-
have to take away from from this is that we
-
have to prophesy. We have the prophesy and of course
-
the five seas, which is it starts.
-
With commitment.
-
And then we go into the different conditions that's required.
-
We need to cooperate with each other, and we do
-
it in a community and finally college which we train.
-
We continuously improve by training and learning, and that's how
-
God's vision for the church God's vision for you and
-
me can come to pass right. So this morning, even
-
if I invite us to stand.
-
