You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your tea.
-
So we talked about this in the last session. All right,
-
So taking stock is very important for us to take
-
stock of all the people God has given us and
-
to give a best to the people. Guys, do you
-
think it is so difficult to help somebody believe? Maybe
-
not all of us are called to go up on
-
the stage and preach. That's okay, you say, ah, I
-
can't preach. I don't have it in me to preach.
-
But do you realize that we are preaching by our action?
-
Do you realize our whole life is preaching when we
-
are living a life? What are we doing? We are
-
preaching because people are looking at us and they're seeing
-
these guys. I see them in church all the time.
-
They look so tired, but at the end of the day, something,
-
some miracle is always taking place. They always seem to
-
be blessed. Have you seen people like that and noted
-
that or not? Can I see a show hands? Have
-
you seen nobody here? Let's try that again. Have you
-
looked at people and seen how that they have been
-
living their life? And you notice that God's hands on
-
them and they have been blessed.
-
Have you seen that? Do you know why?
-
You notice that? Because their life is preaching to you guys.
-
Did they go up there and say, my life is
-
like this, like this, like this. No, not all of
-
us can do that, if you ask me. Sharing standing
-
up here and sharing with you, I look at all
-
the other people who come up and preach.
-
Eld the king Yard Elder rose Uh.
-
Pastor Kenneth and Pass said, look at all them. They do
-
it with such ease. What they You know when you
-
listen to them. Also, you can sense the love flowing
-
up from me. I don't know whether you can send
-
love flowing up from me or not. I tell God, God,
-
I don't. I don't know that, you know, I don't
-
see that. But el the Mabel said, God did not
-
call you to be like them. He called you to
-
share away. You share because God's not about you. Know.
-
Everybody's got their part to play. So that's what we
-
need to do. We take stock. And Pastor was sharing
-
a testimony about Laura. I don't know whether it's our
-
Laura or some other Laura about about her homes that
-
she wanted to close because it didn't seem that she
-
was making any hid way. When she went to the Lord,
-
and the Lord asked her one question, did you really
-
do your best? Then she thought to herself, I did
-
a lot, but maybe I didn't do my best. So
-
she resolved to do her best. And what she did
-
was she made sure she came to home. She was excited.
-
She you know, prepared food, made preparation, prayed for it,
-
and without forcing anything, her homies began to respond. Her
-
homies began to do their best. Her homies began to
-
give God their best. And do you know what happened
-
from the homes which felt so stressed and pushed and hard,
-
everybody was looking forward to coming to homes. What made
-
the difference was it that she did anything extra? What
-
she did was she realized that perhaps before I make
-
any decisions, I have to be sure that I give
-
it my best.
-
And God honored.
-
So, guys, I want you to know that there is
-
a difference many of the things we've heard before. We've
-
heard so many things over the last few weeks, over
-
the last few years about you know, the plans and
-
purposes of the church. You know, thank God, we have
-
a plan. Yeah, really, thank God, because I'll tell you this,
-
I would rather follow than lead. But we all leaders,
-
you know why we leaders because we learn to follow.
-
So when you learn to follow someone, in the process
-
of learning to follow someone, you're actually learning to lead.
-
And I can tell.
-
You all of us, all of you here are leaders.
-
Would you believe that? How many of you have children?
-
Raise your hands? I mean higher leaders, man.
-
Leaders?
-
You think one, you're not leading your kids? Taln go
-
near the edge, You'll fall in. What are you doing
-
your teaching them? Look left, look right, look left before
-
you cross the road. You know, my parents never taught
-
me that. That's why I got knock down. I had
-
to figure that out the hard way. I mean at two,
-
at eight years older. Who teaches at that time? And
-
nobody teach you how to cross the road? Okay, ah no, no, no, no, no.
-
Klang road a lot of cars.
-
Okay, this is it? What is that main road that
-
goes to port? What is it called now?
-
Before it used to be known as Jalon Togado. Now
-
it's Raja Muda.
-
It used to be known.
-
I think it's Jalon Galangado. Hey, there was a busy road. Okay,
-
one way, this way, one way, that way. Trust me,
-
I know.
-
Busy road. Nobody taught me look left, look right. I
-
just look one side cross Maybe I look the wrong side.
-
That's why not.
-
You know, I probably look the wrong sideler because it's
-
one way.
-
It's it's it's you know, like that head.
-
So you tend to forget that the traffic is moving way,
-
it's right or on. I remember once I was crossing
-
the road near Tanne and Tan building. You know that
-
is in care Okay, so in town is a tall building.
-
It's near it's near Jenan Mpang the cross road there. Anyway,
-
The thing is this, it's a it's two way too way.
-
The roads are going uh this way, and then you
-
cross and then the road goes the other way.
-
Right. So this time I did the right thing.
-
I learned how to cross the road after when I
-
said and again, so I looked beside, no car, I
-
crossed one motorcycle.
-
Boom, just buy me. The guy was going the wrong way.
-
Praise the Lord saved. So what's the difference?
-
You know, when we talk about this unpacking, what really
-
is God telling us? Why is God speaking to us
-
about the plans for the church.
-
Hey, guys, when you.
-
Okay, most of us know how to drive a petrol car, right,
-
So how many of us will actually look through the manual?
-
Craig now?
-
But certainly you buy yourself an electric car where you
-
have to plug in. The thing tells you got three
-
hundred kilometers left to go, but it doesn't tell you
-
if you push the engine hard and fast, maybe not
-
three hundred kilometers as some people. They will tell you.
-
Send me the car ran out of juice halfway on
-
the highway. You know why because they thought, wow, electric car,
-
two hundred kilometers became one hundred kilometers. What happens next?
-
The car has to be taught. But I promise you
-
if they read the manual, they would have realized. So
-
we are in the manual series now. It's actually helping us,
-
all right. It's putting our thoughts together, it's putting our
-
life together, so we know how to live for the
-
next ten years. What is God's saying? That's conviction. You're
-
convicted by what God tells you? Is it really?
-
Is it not? What are your leaders saying? Leaders?
-
What is the condition? Because what the the leaders do?
-
The leaders get along with the plan. This is what
-
I'm doing now, I'm helping you with the condition, all right,
-
And what.
-
Are you saying?
-
This is where you cooperate without cooperation nothing most you
-
know you must go away saying yes or no? Are
-
you running with the vision or not? Remember Jesus, after
-
hearing his disciples about him, asked.
-
Peter, what do you say I have?
-
Jesus is concerned with our personal impression or desire for him.
-
I got to tell you this that if we are
-
interrusted in God's things, God takes care of our things.
-
You know, we're so afraid. Oh, we got to do this.
-
We got to do this. So much of time, effort, energy.
-
When you are going through struggles with your own that's
-
the time you took onndamental.
-
Of being CPC. Was it easy?
-
There are a lot of sacrifices you had to make right.
-
Some of the sacrifices drove you crazy or not they did,
-
but you stuck through it, and all of a sudden
-
a miracle happened. I got to share with you at testimony.
-
Why does Elder mable and myself do the things that
-
we do.
-
I can tell you for me.
-
When I get up of bed in the morning, I'm
-
aching from head to foot my back hurts.
-
Now.
-
My latest thing is my knee is giving me trouble.
-
You know, it's pain. My body's in pain all the time.
-
But why do I do what I do?
-
You see?
-
Because at the end of the day, if I'm busy
-
doing God's things, if I'm still honoring God by what
-
I do, he takes care of my issues.
-
Yeah, I give you a testimony.
-
My daughter, Ashley, she called. She's a teacher in Kazakhstan.
-
She called Mabel and myself and said, I have a
-
growth in my neck and I'm going to get it
-
checked out. It was goiter. Goiter usually occurs as a
-
result of white ide in deficiency. The thyroid gland will
-
will swell, so when you look at her you can
-
actually see the swelling, and the swelling was beginning to
-
interfere with swallowing and her speaking. As a teacher, you
-
need to be able to speak freely, right. So what
-
happened was she said, I'm going for her. I'm going
-
for a medical examination. When she told us that, she
-
told Ala members, we said, don't worry, we will pray
-
for you. When we prayed for her, God spoke to
-
me and said cancer. God spoke to Eldemibel and said operation.
-
So she went for her test and she called me
-
one morning while I was in the office. And when
-
she called me, she said, they found something. They found something,
-
and it's very strange. A pastor never comes to my
-
office again, never passes because it's very it's got a
-
lot of things to do, you know.
-
But he was. He came.
-
He was just walking and he stood in front of
-
the door and he was talking to someone. But I
-
thought to myself, hey, he's not going away, he's still
-
standing there. And the Lord said, whatever you hear, talk
-
to him about it, okay. So she called me, my
-
daughter and she said, they found a growth. So the
-
first thing that I did was I told her get
-
a second opinion, get a second opinion. They went ahead
-
and they did it the second opinion. The results of
-
all the tests and the testings were sent to the
-
United States. The endochronologist, top professor in one of the
-
high highly known universities, went over the findings and concurred
-
with the original medal report. Get an operation immediately and
-
remove it.
-
Don't wait.
-
So the insurance company said, get it done here in
-
Malaysia so that you have your family around you. To
-
help you during the recovery stage. So she came back.
-
She came back at the end of November. She came
-
back at the end of November, and in the meantime
-
when the second result came, they said, it was very concerning.
-
Do it straight away, don't wait, do it straight away.
-
I had to sign. I had to find a surgeon right.
-
So we prayed and ask the Lord Lord leaders to
-
the correct person. So we asked all the doctors we know,
-
doctor Jerild, all the other doctors, can you help us
-
find a surgeon who knows this. So they came back
-
with surgeons. But these surgeons were not at experts in
-
this field. My daughter had to do a thyroid deck
-
to me, a complete removal of the thyroid glen which
-
is covering both sides with neck. So I went researching
-
and after going over many issues, I found a name
-
this doctor and he is a Subang Gai medical center.
-
I called him and cut a long story shot. I
-
got through and I found out that he is probably
-
one of the premius surgeons of this.
-
Kind of issue.
-
And he was telling us that. So anyway, he went
-
over the records and the reports and all that, and
-
I said this cannot wait. Can you do the operation?
-
He said, yes, when she comes, I need to examine
-
her first, but we will schedule for the opera. So
-
in December third, at three am in the morning, they
-
did the operation. The reason why it was supposed to
-
be the day before, but they did no operation because
-
another person was being operated on. The cancer was not
-
discovered and had spread from the neck all the way
-
to behind the ear, so that one went on for
-
so long. Decision was too tired.
-
So he.
-
Did the operation at three am in the morning. So
-
if you look my daughter, she's got a scar from
-
this side of the neck to six inches across the neck.
-
And when we met him the next day, so he said,
-
you know, got the whole thyroid out and the limb
-
notes around that area, and we will send it for examination.
-
So the next day when I saw him, so, I said,
-
was it benign? He said no, it was malignant, malignant cancer.
-
But he said, we got it all. There is nothing left.
-
She is completely okay. Praise the Lord. When God told
-
us these things, my daughter came back with that issue.
-
With the results, we were able to comfort her so
-
well because God had already told us.
-
What was going to happen.
-
So we weren't stressed out like most would be.
-
Almost might be.
-
Understandably in a situation like that, because God had prepared us.
-
You know why, because no matter how tired we are,
-
no matter how aching we are, we try to do
-
what the Lord tells us to do, be concerned about
-
somebody else, and God took care of our issue. So
-
I had time to joke in my daughter. She had
-
one bead here and one beat here. Two beats looks
-
like jewelry. I'm wondering why two beads, I said, don't
-
worry when they have to remove the stitches, all they're
-
gonna do is cut one.
-
Side and pull.
-
True enough, when it came to renewing the stitches, she said, Hi,
-
oh Dad, you cut one side and pull. All the
-
stitches came on one go. Was it painful?
-
Yeah? So you live. Yes.
-
Guys, Now, you may say, oh, but why couldn't God heal?
-
I don't know.
-
Maybe my level of faith is not enough to see
-
it that way. But my fate was enough to come
-
through the situation where she would still be better, she
-
would still be okay. God is still in control. I'm
-
not gonna question that. I'm not gonna be ungrateful God,
-
you could have done it this way you can. I'm
-
not gonna tell God how he could have done it.
-
I'm just thankful that he did it. Guys, you and
-
I have got to realize God, God has a life
-
in order to get with the program, so that he
-
you open a door for him to help you.
-
Okay, let's move on. So the three l's the lost.
-
The vision of the Act of Access always been about
-
the lost.
-
Do you know?
-
Like I said earlier on, every one of us can
-
help disciple. So are we worried about the lost?
-
Guys?
-
If you cannot preach to them, invite them to church,
-
that's all. So somebody else who knows how to share
-
can share. Do you play a part? Do you have
-
a part in their salvation?
-
Absolutely? Why?
-
Because you love them enough to call them or to
-
a place where they can.
-
Hear about Jesus.
-
Do you know most of the people who came to
-
the Lord under my ministry came unto the Law when
-
I knew nothing. Seriously, all I knew was Jesus saves.
-
I went around telling people Jesus saved. Jesus is more
-
people came to the Lord at that time than now.
-
When I have all this knowledge eschatology, all the you
-
know eschatology, the study of Jesus. If I'm not mistaken
-
all this, how should I say theory and all these
-
deep studies. Then it gets in the way of the
-
simplicity of the gospel, which is Jesus loves you.
-
He has come to save you.
-
So the vision of extrach has been always about the lost.
-
Every one of you can be a leader. And I
-
show you what a leader is. What is a leader?
-
Living your life for Jesus life. You're already leading, ma.
-
It's not rocket science. Another word for seven you and
-
I prefer that word seven of the Lord. But God
-
says leader? You know why follow me as I follow him?
-
What does that make you?
-
H leader? Okay?
-
The leaders we need to rise up. We believe that
-
everyone can be a leader and is true. Approve it
-
to you. All of you are parents, A lot of
-
your parents, not all of you.
-
A lot of you. Some of you go to school,
-
right are you prefer? Yes? There you go leading somebody?
-
Life is like dad, how many we can drive a car?
-
Do you realize that you're a leader? What do you
-
mean when you put the signal to turn right? Are
-
you not leading the people behind you?
-
Be careful. I'm turning right? True or not? What are
-
you doing?
-
You are leading them into the right decision, which is
-
slow down and let the guy go right. I mean
-
it seems like a ridiculous example, but it's true. It's
-
true breaking the myth that we cannot be leaders. The
-
devil would like us to believe that we cannot be leaders.
-
But guys, you and I, in our daily life, we
-
are doing that. So a thousand. We already have a thousand.
-
So everyone should be a disciple, and everyone should eventually
-
lead someone.
-
To the Lord.
-
Like I said, if you can't say Jesus loves you,
-
can you at least say come to church and learn
-
about someone who can help you with your problem. What's
-
so difficult about that? The worst that the person can
-
say is no. The best that the person can say
-
is yes, true, not.
-
Believing.
-
What is the living Jesus is the Kingdom of Heaven
-
is like living, And that's in Matthew thirteen thirty three. Okay,
-
living a yeast is put into a door and it
-
begins to rise. You know, if you have lousy living
-
and the bread won't rise, I know because I learned
-
to bake bread during the pandemic. Some living I put
-
in the bread did not rise. But then I bought
-
new living put it in all perfect bread. So the
-
thing about living is it's got to be what do
-
you have, what's your truth, what's your belief?
-
What's in your heart? Okay?
-
So when living a yeast is put in the door,
-
it begins to rise. Without the living, the door will
-
not rise. Trust me, it will not rise. Without the
-
living in our lives, we will remain stagnant. What is
-
the Bible saying is living in our lives? It's the
-
Kingdom of God. See the Kingdom of Heaven. Sorry, the
-
Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is like eleven
-
living eleven okay, the Kingdom of Heaven? What is it
-
without leaven? The door will not rise. So we need
-
the Kingdom of Heaven.
-
In the hearts?
-
What's the Kingdom of heaven? And the hearts believe that
-
Jesus Lord, he died in rows, he has the best
-
things in life, the best plans for you. So living
-
gets disciples, Leven gets disciples and leaders out of their
-
comfort zone.
-
Send out the laborers into the harvest. Field.
-
The word send out is more like kicked out. You know.
-
The thing is this, if you realize scripture is always
-
praying and not for the people to get save. You
-
know what is the scripture praying well for the laborers
-
to get out there and save them? Because the people
-
are already there wanting to be saved. They need somebody
-
to tell them. They need somebody to reach them. You
-
know what's the problem with Christianity. Sometimes we don't tell them.
-
We try and force them. I cannot force anybody to
-
receive the law. I can tell them because you see,
-
I'm not the power of conviction.
-
Who's the power of conviction?
-
The Holy Spirit. I just opened my mouth and tell God,
-
you told me to tell them. I've told them.
-
Hallelujah. What happens next?
-
Holy Spirit convict them. The secret to real growth is
-
radical obedience to God. You know, in ex Church, the
-
foundation has always been for the first twenty years, radical obedience.
-
God says, turn left and left, turn right, turn right,
-
go for go forward. Radical unity. Unity is a tough one.
-
But unity, you see, it's not unity to any it's
-
not a unity to characters, unity of God's plan, unity,
-
unity towards God, because if we have this unity towards God,
-
we won't be fight among ourselves. Radical unity, And I
-
love about ex Church. You know what I love about
-
ex Church. We're willing to help other churches, be there
-
for other churches, work with other churches. You know, when
-
we were growing up in the seventies and we just
-
became the Christians, every church was for itself, you know, unless,
-
of course it was the same denomination. Other than that,
-
it wasn't really together. But I love what I see
-
now that Baptists are working with Pentecostals, that Methodists are
-
working with Lutherans. Why because there's unity in the church,
-
and Devil hates that radical unity in acts radical generosity.
-
People were generous. That was in the past, is it now?
-
It doesn't have to be different, it can be the same.
-
It can still continue. So the requirements for the next
-
twenty years of growth. Radical ideas is a daily bread
-
coming from God. So what is God telling us to do?
-
Radical initiatives from us? It's more than just a plan
-
we need God. This isn't a Bible, says past Us,
-
saying that radical ideas is like the daily bread. Radical
-
initiatives is like the tide. Your time, your effort, your money,
-
your ideas, your thoughts being available and radical implementation.
-
This is the leven. This is the leven.
-
We have so many initiatives, and sometimes it seems like
-
there's so much. The latest one is the extine right
-
extenso one someone going from plant to plant. I want
-
to see all go to so many. Yesterday we had
-
we had, we had the leaders you know meeting, and
-
the leader's meeting was in Health University in Subang Suwangtu,
-
which is in Sunai below right.
-
So I heard some people say, wha, so far I
-
had to travel so far? I say you one time
-
you have to travel so far? You know.
-
I have to come to Klank forteen minutes. I have
-
to go to Sevenut one hour, fifteen minutes. I have
-
to go to Nila one hour, Cyberjaya fifteen minutes. And
-
I have to do this every Sunday. I'm Punk fifteen minutes. Guys,
-
It's okay. Now, once in a while you come in.
-
I'm only eighteen minutes from the place.
-
Praise the Lord. God is kind. It's okay. Go if
-
you need to go.
-
You know what you do during that as you are
-
going that long distance to send that teen to that function.
-
You know what God is seeing. God is seeing effort,
-
He's seeing leven in your lives. And what happens when
-
there's leven in your life? Growth starts to take place.
-
I mean, it's so easy to say it's too far,
-
it's way too far. But I want you to know
-
there are people who walk to church three hours, walk
-
to church because no money to buy bus ticket, and
-
after church walk three hours back and here we are
-
we can drive. One hour is too tough. I when
-
I first became a Christian, I travel to church one
-
and a half to two hours every Sunday for easily
-
ten years because I lived in Klang, but the church
-
was in care and I had no car. It's bus
-
bus fifty one. Why one and a half hours? You
-
think the bus is there when you're ready to go, No,
-
you have to wei and sometimes the bus comes. But
-
twenty thousand people trying to get on there one bus
-
which can only hold fifty.
-
You hope you get in.
-
Such a way where people automatically push you up and
-
not push you off. That was how it was, but
-
we did it. And guess what God has blessed us?
-
If I were to look at my life. Now i'd
-
see how much God has blessed us. I won't tell
-
you how, but I got a free car, brand new.
-
Because God.
-
Is blessing me for all the things that I've done
-
in the past. God is in control. The greatest challenge
-
to our vision is we cannot believe we can't achieve
-
it without winning the loss lots of them. We need
-
to go out there and we need to win the loss.
-
The church isn't here in Malaysia just to look after
-
the ten percent. Hey, we are always under the impression
-
that what are we coming to church for? We're coming
-
to church for maintenance? Is that why we come to
-
We come to church to praise the Lord. Never forget
-
this because the scripture says that when we lift up
-
the name of Jesus, what does he do? He draws
-
all men unto him. I got a message that's coming,
-
you know what it's this message. This message is about
-
people who tell you, hey, after all, you can go
-
to any church, man, why need come to this church?
-
God is everywhere. Have you heard people say that I
-
don't want to come to this church today. I can't.
-
I'll go to that church and they say it's okay.
-
What God is there? God is true, God is everywhere.
-
God is in that church, God is in this church.
-
What is the difference? Do you realize if you read
-
scripture that God gave the talents to whom? He gave
-
the talents to the servants one, three and five talents?
-
Did he give it to the visitors? Yeah, one of
-
them didn't do anything with it. That's okay, that's that
-
one person. But whom did God give the talents to?
-
He gave the talents to the servants. What are the servants?
-
People who come and serve the Lord, not the people
-
who take God as a cook. What's on the menu today?
-
I'll go here, I'll get there. So what did they
-
bear making God there?
-
Seven?
-
You don't understand we sometimes we miss it. Hey, there
-
are serious things in God as well. You want God
-
to take care of your life, be serious about his things.
-
So the thing is this, Uh, the church isn't here
-
just to look after ninety percent. For the son of
-
Man came to seek and to say which was lost
-
here in acts we also know it is the fifth witness.
-
God is encouraging us to engage the fifth gear. Go
-
maximum speed, maximum distance, call them in invite them in
-
Why when you come in church, it's not about you
-
getting fed. It is it is yeah, yeah, yeah, you receive,
-
you get fed, your spirit grows. Yeah, it's that as well.
-
But what is the reason you come to church. You
-
come to church to lift up the name of Jesus.
-
Because what happens when you lift up the name of Jesus.
-
He draws all men unto him and you figure out.
-
You think, wow, it's so difficult to grow. No, it's
-
not difficult to grow. You want to grow the church.
-
Worship the Lord. When you are together, lift him up.
-
Come together with that purpose. Yeah that in that you
-
will get fed. But while you're.
-
Here, you've come here with a purpose lifted up to
-
Nemo Jesus. Okay, the leaders.
-
The second greatest challenge is we cannot do it with
-
our leaders or laborers. We are laborers servants. Matthew nine
-
thirty seven thirty eight says. Then he said to his disciples,
-
the harvest is truty plenty four, But the laborers are few. Therefore,
-
pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out
-
laborers into the harvest. God is already telling you, hey,
-
we are worried about the wrong thing. Were worried about
-
the people getting safe. He says, you let me worry
-
about that. What you do is go out there. Did
-
he say, pray for the harvest? He said, pray to
-
the Lord of the harvest. So the Lord is already
-
taking care of that issue. The Lord is already taking
-
care of the issue, because he is the lord of it.
-
What is he telling.
-
Pray that he sends more laborers you and I into
-
the field. The problem has never been with the harvest,
-
but the harvesters. We were never taught to pray for
-
the harvest, but for the labor. Verse Matthew for nineteen says,
-
then he said to them, follow me, and I will
-
make you fishes of men. He didn't say follow me,
-
and you know he says, I will make you fishes
-
of men. I will make you receive that which encourages you.
-
Let me tell you you want to take this step further.
-
The lord of the fish, if you want to call
-
him that. Now, he says, you toil all night, take
-
your net through the other side. I mean, what is
-
the difference between decide the boat and decide the boat?
-
What two hundred feet? No?
-
No, how why do you think the boat is Okay,
-
how many of you here know about boats?
-
Is what you think a fishing boat is? Ten feet? What?
-
Ten feet? Here?
-
Nothing here?
-
One hundred and fifty seven fish.
-
God can just tell you get into the net. That's
-
why you want God to say, bring people in. We
-
and I have got to learn to throw the net
-
where God tells us to throw the net, because he
-
can just say fish, come in. I mean, it's ridiculous, right,
-
doesn't make sense here? No fish here? Go fish? If
-
you tell me you go to port, clang of fish here.
-
And clang down. No fish.
-
I can understand five kilume difference, But here are we're
-
talking about left and right? The eleven the third challenges.
-
We can't do it without eleven, which is the sending out.
-
Okay.
-
Romans Tan thirteen to fifteen says, for whoever calls upon
-
the name the Lord shall be saved. How then shall
-
we call on him who we have not believed? And
-
how shall we believe in him whom they have not heard?
-
And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how
-
should they preach without? And unless they are sent? As
-
it is written? How beautiful are the feet of those
-
who preach the Gospel of peace and will bring good tidings,
-
glad tidings.
-
Of good things again. Oh wa and over?
-
What is scripture telling us we are so worried about
-
the fish, we're so worried about the people, that we
-
don't realize there's only one thing preventing the two from
-
taking preventing it from taking.
-
Place us us.
-
It's just telling us to do something, and we always
-
start with this. Oh, I'm not a preacher. Oh I
-
do not know how to share. One of the greatest
-
lies that the devil has caused us to believe is
-
that we are unable to speak. Guys, if you were
-
unable to speak, how did you marry your spouse?
-
You go up to her and you get married her?
-
No way, You went up to her and say how's
-
your dear? Okay, good good? Then you walk away. Then
-
the next time you see her, are you thirsty? Can
-
I get you a drink? When you walk away? Next
-
time you come and say, yeah, I bought you a kick?
-
You go away next time? You know, actually I've been
-
looking at you. I really like you. You move your hair, Okay, okay,
-
I know what you're thinking.
-
Don't go there, but you.
-
Give what I'm saying you think you cannot talk. For
-
those of you who got married, how did you get married?
-
You had to open your mouth, isn't in?
-
Why not?
-
You had to make some kind of connection. You can
-
do it. You are able to even How many of
-
you are quiet?
-
People? Really quiet?
-
You know?
-
Introverts? Are they any introverts here? Okay? Introvert? Right? Quiet
-
by nature?
-
But still when you're interested in your spouse to be here,
-
you found a way to talk to them?
-
Why not?
-
So what I'm trying to say is you can rise
-
above your circumstance.
-
You can rise above your issue. Okay.
-
Leven is also the discipline. Okay, nothing can be done
-
without discipline. In one Condians nine twenty six twenty seven said,
-
therefore I run, I run thus not with uncertainty.
-
That's a fight. Not with one who.
-
Beats the air. You see when you were a boxer.
-
He's boxing, right, So he's boxing, he is boxing the air.
-
The other guy worried or not?
-
No? Not?
-
The other guy will only be worried if he connects.
-
That's what scripture is saying. Scripture is saying this, But
-
I discipline my body and bringing the subjection less that
-
I appreach to others, I myself become disqualified.
-
It means do what you say, say.
-
What you do, do what you say, say what you do,
-
mean what you say, say what you mean. Guys, if
-
we we we we focus on the impossible. Actually, life
-
is really possible. You know, when I got over the
-
fear of telling people about Jesus Christ, people started coming
-
to the Lord again. When I could go up to
-
the man and say, do you know you're dying? Yes,
-
say would you like to receive Jesus?
-
Yes?
-
Because at sixty sixty plus years old, why I care
-
whether I'm hurt or not? Eve He says, no, it's
-
not my problem. Yeay, I've come with something good. You
-
do want to receive? Whose problem? Your problem or my problem?
-
It's your problem. But of course we go with the prayerer,
-
say Lord, help me do the right thing, annoying the
-
words that I say, that this person's.
-
Life may be touched.
-
You do your part when you just go and say, hey,
-
you know Jesus loves you. Can I tell you you're
-
not alone? Can I tell you that there's somebody who's
-
waiting for you. He wants to receive you as a friend.
-
You know, I have now given this invitation to anybody
-
who's got a problem, you know, with sharing with old
-
people or sharing with people they wanted to and they're
-
not receiving the I will go and.
-
I'll talk to them. Why, because I'm not afraid anymore.
-
So what if the guy says I don't want to
-
hear what you have to say, Well, I shrink and
-
shrivel up and die.
-
No, I won't.
-
The skin has become very thick, you know, when you
-
grow older, skin becomes thicker, y'allah. That's the way it is.
-
So it has freed me. I want you to know
-
that Levin is the doing.
-
It's the execution.
-
Not not the execution, you know, but it is the
-
doing of something. It's the performing or something, all right,
-
It's the implementation, all right, so many things. Yeah, Like
-
I said, the teens once a month, you know, it's
-
the implementation. It's the press service once four times a year,
-
and we say, no, I cannot.
-
Go for that.
-
Sometimes I wonder why should God ever answer any of
-
our press.
-
Have you ever wondered that?
-
Why should God be concerned to answer our prayers when
-
we have this lack of concern to maybe once in
-
a while do what he wants us to do. I mean, okay,
-
you got prayer four times. You cannot make it four
-
times a year.
-
At least make it once a year.
-
You know how many we went for the combined press
-
service on the first of January? Was it extraordinary? Was
-
it powerful?
-
It was.
-
What made it powerful? You know what makes prayer powerful?
-
Not that there are fifteen hundred thousand people. You know
-
what makes prayer and powerful the fact that they didn't
-
need to come on the day, but they came to
-
Dick together on the day to pray. And God appreciates that.
-
Do you know why prayers?
-
Ah?
-
Do you know why prayers? How many of you experienced
-
a lot of prayers at homes being answered?
-
Can I see it? Show heads? It's true? Right?
-
But do you know do you know why it seems
-
easy for prayers to be answered because of Holmes? Because
-
it's it's not in scripture. Scripture says do not forsake
-
the gathering, or say is talking about the Sabbatha. But
-
Holmes is something extra and you make the point to
-
go for it. You mean to say God doesn't appreciate it.
-
He does.
-
God is looking for avenues to appreciate us. He is
-
not looking for avenues to stick it to us, unlike
-
so many other faiths. You know, one thing you do wrong,
-
you get hammered. Christ is not about that. He's looking
-
for avenues to bless us momentum. So when you start
-
to implement slowly momentum.
-
Starts to build.
-
You know what happens. When momentum starts to build, it
-
becomes habit. It becomes habit, and as it becomes heavy,
-
it becomes a custom and a culture. Why is this
-
important Because when things that we do right become custom
-
and become culture, it's no longer difficult to do. It's
-
not difficult to do. It's difficult to do the first time,
-
but the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
-
There was once a pastor who said, Pastor told us,
-
you went to go and see God, it's so difficult
-
to do a quiet time. You know what was the
-
Lord's answer, do too? Huh doesn't make sense, man, so
-
difficult to do one quiet time?
-
And day?
-
Now you tell me to do tour. But you see
-
he obeyed. In doing the too, it became easy to
-
do the one every day. God's wisdomer reflect so one
-
as some of the habits and customs. We like to
-
make effective as a laborer. Imagine the day. Imagine the day. Okay,
-
when witnessing so winning, disciple making, leadership producing, Daniel releasing Daniel?
-
What is Daniel releasing? You go into the market place. Hey,
-
I keep saying that we're not marketplace Christians. We are
-
Christians in the marketplace. It's not the market that influences us.
-
It's we who influence the market. Okay, witnessing so soul winning. Wow,
-
when this becomes normal? And do you know that it can.
-
If we will let it.
-
The only thing stopping this from happening is we ourselves.
-
Do we see it?
-
So the implementation implementation is like we're talking about.
-
God's diet.
-
You know that Daniel lived on vegetables and water for
-
ten days and became stronger and fatter. How is this
-
even possible? He must have been eating sugarcane. If sugar
-
cane is a vegetable. No, no, no, I guess no, I
-
have no idea. You know, I love vegetables. When I
-
eat vegetables, I lose weight. So if you look at
-
me now, it means I've not been eating a lot
-
of vegetables. Okay, But Daniel Daniel lived on vegetables. This
-
is the way God wants X to fulfill the provinces
-
to live on God's diet. What is God's diet? Doing
-
it God's way, doing it God's way, guys. For the
-
next six weeks, for the last for the last four weeks.
-
In the next two weeks, we are we are breaking
-
down this plan. Why is it so important? Do you
-
know that the world is coming closer and closer and
-
closer to the return of Jesus Christ.
-
It's so frightening. It's so frightening.
-
I remember telling you that the year twenty thirty is
-
in the charter of the United Nations to make the
-
world the government of the world. Won Did you know
-
that it's in their chatter, which is one of the
-
prophecies of in time scripture. Guys, Let's not be sleeping,
-
Let's be awake. So breaking down God's die daily bread.
-
You know what does God tell us to do?
-
Daily?
-
Daily bread? That's why we do it daily? Quiet me
-
so that God will He will tell us in advance,
-
just like He told my wife and me cancer operation preparation,
-
because He was preparing us to be an encouragement to
-
our daughter, so that fear would not get into a life,
-
but faith and faith would produce a miracle. Guys, you
-
and I we are beacons of this ability to put
-
faith in somebody else's life by being there for them,
-
listening to what God tells us to do. God will
-
tell you today, go and see this person, and you
-
never know, that's the day that person can get saved.
-
I told you what once when God said go and
-
see this person. When I saw this person and I shadn't,
-
the person said no.
-
I was so shocked.
-
I said, God, but you told me to go and
-
witness and the person said no. He said, I told
-
you to go. You went, okay, I left it. Two
-
weeks later he said go again, and this time the
-
person received the Lord.
-
So we don't know, We don't know how things are work.
-
We just need to be obedient, all right, deliberate, tie
-
the initiative, make a commitment, make a commitment to us.
-
So you know, it also means uploading to God. Love
-
uploading God God. Yeah, I'll do it. Yeah God, here
-
I am here, I am. That's uploading to God. God says,
-
go here, I am download, go upload here I am.
-
We are so worried that God will tell us to
-
go to salm place out in the wilderness to share
-
the gospel. Okay, those days are India was the bad name.
-
Lo When I say India is the bad name, they'll
-
always say, I'll send you to India.
-
You know, what's the word?
-
Because it's all this mental things where people play, you know,
-
in your minds and you think, oh, yeah, I become
-
a Christian and say, yes, Lord, he will send me
-
to India.
-
So keep quiet? Why not?
-
It could be other places, you know. But what I'm
-
saying is, these are the things that we need to overcome,
-
we need to get you know, realize God is not
-
a mean god. Okay, he will send you to the
-
place you don't want to go. There are sometimes he
-
will send you to the place you don't want to go.
-
He will tell you to do the things you don't
-
want to do.
-
You know. That's okay.
-
If he tells you, that means he's got a good
-
plan for you, you know, but.
-
It's not always that way.
-
It can be that way, but it's not always that way,
-
all right, So implementation they're doing. Make it count, accountability
-
your time and money, Make it count, make it comet
-
The five steps of God's died. Make a list. What
-
is God wanted to do? Make a commitment. Lord, I'll
-
do it. Make it, come, do it, do the best
-
that you can. Make time to help others, and make
-
sure you remember the vision always.
-
Guys, this is exciting. Okay. Vision, I think there's a
-
slight next one. Yeah. Vision is the dominion mission. The vision.
-
The vision is God says, going into the world, and
-
in Genesis it says, and have dominion. Okay, the vision
-
was for us to have dominion. The mission? What is
-
the mission going into the world and preache?
-
What is that?
-
That is the mission? What is the direction? God's diet?
-
Doing what he tells you? What is the focus? The
-
focus is the actual diet, the actual substance of what
-
it is God has told you to do?
-
All right? And lastly, the cost? What is the cost?
-
The cost is discipline. In other words, stick with it.
-
So he says, Yah, what is my heart for the lost?
-
What are my challenged for being called to lead others?
-
And what is the one discipline I want to walk on?
-
You know, what is my heart for the lost? If
-
we don't care about people getting saved, we are on
-
very dangerous ground. I would say we are on quicksand,
-
all right, or quicksand I know we can.
-
Get out of.
-
We're on a sinkhole. We're standing on the surface where
-
the sinkhole can just appear. If we don't care for
-
the lost, because that means our heart and God's heart
-
are not in sync. Because God's heart is for the lost,
-
we have to have If you do not have a
-
heart for the lost, all is not lost.
-
You know what you do?
-
Pray to the Lord of Harvest. Lord, you are the
-
Lord of Harvest. You know there are people that are lost?
-
Why don't I feel that way? Can you help me?
-
If you're honest before the Lord? Don't you think he
-
will help you? That's when he will send you to India.
-
I'm just kidding, Okay, what are my challenges? Are being
-
called to meet others? What are your challenges?
-
I cannot speak? So what.
-
A lot of people that I have come to the
-
Lord just by watching somebody else and say.
-
Wow, what is this? Why day like that? It's because
-
of Jesus. I want that Jesus's It's not so much
-
about So what are the challenges? You will know? What
-
are the challenges?
-
Maybe it's time, Maybe you say you don't have the time,
-
but you suffer through it. Never mind, I'll do it
-
now whether I agree or I don't. For my wife
-
and me, it's pain. I tell you, growing old is
-
not fund I used to and I think this is payback.
-
I used to look at some people in this secy
-
say why are you moving so slower? Now I'm sixty,
-
I know, so be very carefuler. You look at me
-
and say, why are the fellow walking like that?
-
So it slow?
-
Be careful, okay, because you may be inviting in on yourself,
-
don't okay. So the thing is, what are your challenges?
-
God can help you overcome those challenges? And what is
-
the discipline that I want.
-
To work on? Gosh?
-
What did I Maybe it's it's the quiet time. Maybe
-
I need to work on spending time with the Lord.
-
Because when you spend time with the Lord, what happens?
-
He talks to you. La. Some people don't want to
-
spend time with God because he talks to them. I
-
know that's weird, but it's true. How do you notice?
-
You know one fellow who ran away from the Lord
-
because the Lord was talking to him. Jonah, God was
-
go and talk to them. He thought he could not
-
listen to the Lord.
-
He went the other way.
-
Why because he don't want to hear God talking. But
-
praise God, God is so kind to him. God still
-
continued talking to him. Say you want to run away, okay,
-
you run into the belly of the whale. I'll talk
-
to you there. You think it was fun being in
-
the belley of the whaler. The schastric juices must have
-
been already working on him. And there was no light, okay,
-
not like the cartoons where he got light. He said,
-
no light, darkness. And then you know how stomach. You know,
-
your stomach rumbles, right, so it must you think you
-
could stand up? No wonder fool has been tossed in turn?
-
Can you mention three days? He must have been very
-
dizzy when he came out. Guys, let's not get in.
-
Let's not be tossed to and fro and burned with
-
gastric juices in the belly of the whale. Let's just,
-
you know, do what the Lord tells us to do. So, guys,
-
with that, I hope you have enjoyed Session four. Got
-
you going, got you prepared, got you excited, got you
-
believing you can do it? And you know what you
-
can do it, because what are you doing? You're just
-
doing what the Lord tells you to do. So who
-
is the one who's actually doing it?
-
God?
-
Yeah, God is the one who's actually doing it. Okay,
-
with that, let's rise and we can go into a
-
song praise because the Lord is spoken to us today.
-
God is good. I hope you have caught something today.
-
I was telling Jason yesterday, it's so good to be
-
able to do this series because God is actually giving
-
us a clear preparation of what to do. I'm one
-
who likes manuals. I prove you to be told what
-
to do, then try and figure it out myself, you know.
-
So when everything is laid out, it becomes so nice,
-
so easy follow follow, do you know? And God's been
-
kind to us that way.
-
We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
