I just want to title the message as you know,

before the firefalls, okay, and as I was preparing, you know,

I think I'll be doing it in different series, but

I'm gonna start with this vers before revival happens, all right,

you know, before we you know, sometimes you know, we

hear revival and we may have a certain concept or

an idea or a picture of what revival is. But today,

you know, I'm gonna bring us to the Word of

God so that it can help us define a little

bit more, to know a little bit more, and also

that we can get ourselves ready. All right, So I'm

gonna turn us to some chapter eighty five verse six. Okay,

if you have your Bible so you can turn with me. Okays,

eighty five verse six be a digital physical but just

today decided to be a little bit generous, so the

verses on screen as well, because usually usually my encouragement

is for all of us to turn together to the

world of God.

All right, Uh, all right.

Some eighty five or six, so let us read together

and my or three one, two and three will you

not revive us again that your people may rejoice in you?

All right?

So the word revival in Hebrew, okay, which is in

the Old Testament. Later you're gonna look at a New

Testament as well. It's called kaya all right. Uh yeah,

yah yah.

But actually is pronounced as.

Kaya kkh a w cayr call your not call your

h the ones Chinese used as well to stick when

you have you know, paint and whatever not not uh

koya all right.

Uh. And it actually means okay, to leave, to be

made alive, to restore to life, and to bring back

from death, all right. And ReViral is actually not you know,

sometimes believers mating. Okay, this is you know, not for us.

It is for those who do not know christis. It's

actually not just for the pre believers. It's not a

new life for them, but it's for us. Actually, I'm

speaking to us, believe us here today we may come,

may come, you know, even date all right. But when

God fire revivor sweeps true every death, every date areas

in our life, every date, believers will become alive again,

not physically date, but spiritually all right. So the second

part I'm will bring us to to understand it in Greek.

Now is in Second Timothy, chapter one, verse six. Okay,

Second Timothy, chapter one, verse six, Okay, shall we read

it together, all right? In one two entry. For this reason,

I remind you to fan into flame the gift of

God which is in you, to the lay on yeah,

off my hands, yes, all right. So the Greek word,

all right for revival is actually this word. It's anzo

borrell okay, uh yeah, So it's in Greek. If you

how it's pronounced.

Okay, I might not might not pronounce it correctly, okay.

So so it is actually if you look at second

one six, it's actually from these tree words fan into flame.

All right. So what does this Greek word mean then?

All right? When it speaks of revival.

When revival happens, you know there will be rekindling, to

stir back into flame, to gnite again. It refers to

our faith, right, our faith being rekindled, our faith being

stirred back to flame and be reignited. All right, So

how does that apply to us? You know, you know

when fire is slow. Our fire for the Lord, our

zeal for the Lord is slow. You know, when revival happens,

you know, it burns again. Right, it gets brighter. Uh,

Sometimes our hearts can go cold. All right, Even in Malaysia,

in this hot weather, our hearts can still get cold.

I came back from Chinese New York with a lot

of sunburn. Uh, Militia is hot.

But our hearts can be really really really cool.

But when revival happens, we can become hot and on

fire again.

All right. Passion can fait.

But when revival happens, you know, if it turns and

become a more passionate person again.

All right.

So revival is actually not just a hip or not

just an emotion or a feeling. It's just not like

you know, I can continuously sing worship songs forever. But

revival is actually a resurrection that happens inside every single believer.

All right.

So I pray today you know, as we as we

we are in church here today, we may come in

you out of a routine, or you're come in you're

just hungry for the Lord. I hope that all of us,

you know, we made alive again and and we'll be transform.

All right.

So before the fire falls, I broke it into two parts.

Let's see how much I can actually recover today.

So part one involves ourselves, our personal preparation, okay, And

why do we want to personally prepare because we are

telling God, God make me alive again. You know, we

do go through different challenges in life and sometimes you're like, okay,

like God, I'm taking a chill pill. But you know,

daily we should come to God. God make me alive again.

I desire for more of you.

Okay.

So the first part on how we could personally prepare

is in the area of repentance. Okay, some hundred and

fifty one verse ten. Let's look at what the Bible says. Okay,

some fifty one ten, let's read it together. One two

and she creates in me a clean heart, or God

and renew a step fast spirit within me. All right,

create in me a clean heart. You know I actually

put that a clean altar. We need to be purified.

You know what does fire do When fire happens? Are

any material right when you put through fire purif purification happens,

all right, and there will be cleansing involved. And when

you know when in order days.

Now, we do not sacrifice any animals. Uh.

You know in Old Testament, that's a lot if you read,

you know how the different practices and rituals they go

through just you know, foreseen to be forgiven, they have

to prepare the altar, prepare you know, the best lamp,

best bull uh and offering up to God.

And and the altar has to be really really clean.

And and that.

It self speaks of the preparation. U now is the

preparation of our heart?

Uh? Are we daily you know or every hourly?

Because you know, as human beings we can sing even

every minute or every second as all right, You're like,

oh no, I'm so angry about towards this person. Okay,

we have seen already against the Lord. Right in our

kinder nature, we can sin. So you know, have we

been asking and coming to God and saying God, you know,

forgive me, uh for seen against you?

Uh?

And and different ones of us, you know, we we

we desire for transformation to happen. But let's begin with

repenting first. We repent not because we are guilty. We

are not repenting because you know, I'm a shamed of

what I did last summer. I'm a shamed of what

I did yesterday. But repentance speaks about leaving whatever that is.

You know, we were stuck in that does not glorify.

God, leaving it behind and turning back, turning ourselves back

towards the Lord. Okay, I'm gonna give us a story.

How many of you have heard about the Welsh Revival? No?

Yes, so yeah, how many of you around already? Then?

Too long ago? Okay? So not all right? It happened

in nineteen zero four.

Okay, So it actually swept across true Wales, Okay, in

the Great Bitton, all right. And that was a really strong,

powerful spiritual awakening then.

And when you know we talked about.

The Welsh Revival, it's actually closely related to this preacher

called Evan Roberts. Okay, so what happened during a Welsh Revival?

You know, church services started to last for many, many

hours without any formal structure because people were just really

touched by God. They were weeping, they were repenting, they

were praying, you know, they you know, kept worshiping God.

Uh, you know, true true songs. And what happened was right.

It the repentance itself, you know, and what doing doing

that revival, the whole period of revival, different ones, uh,

you know, just publicly confessing their scenes, uh and repenting.

How many of us here, you know, a bot enough

to stand and say, you know, I have done this,

I've seen against the Lord, you know. But when revival happens,

there is a deep conviction or scene that leads us

to public confession. And that happened for the people then,

and they were intense. Your gatherings, the were intense intercession

that happened.

Uh.

There are a lot of spontaneous worship. Uh.

And you know, the presence of God was just strong

and was evident. It was manifesting just throughout the whole

of wills. And what happened, you know, they're not just

contained within the believers, but it actually went beyond church.

You know. They saw pubs, you know, closed down, clubs

becoming more and more empty, and you know, every drinking

place becoming empty because people were just there uh in church,

those who are not yet believers, they were just drawn

to the church. And what happened as well, you know,

so this was all actually reported. Crime rates actually dropped tremendously. Uh.

That a lot of that's uh d E b t

s a right will actually repaid. People came of a

place like, oh I oll one pound to this person.

I think I didn't know for one pound is actually

a lot Manila. Al right, time to return. Many broken

families were actually restored, and the communities itself they experienced

a moral transformation.

Imagine that happening even for so many.

Or slangor the state where semone is in the whole

Malaysia as well, you know, and it was estimated right

just within a month, around one hundred thousand other people

came to know the lot?

All right? Why could the revivals spread? Okay? Why did

revivals spread? Then? In Wales? It spread because pride died?

Okay, we cannot okay, if you want to be bearers

of revival, we want to experience revival. We cannot have

hidden compromises in our life, right, you know what God says? Right,

we are in swell, but not off this wall, and

and it'll compromise us. It all can be of different things, right,

as simple as are we double leaving as believe us

do we have a double standards of living? We can

be Christians in church on a Sunday or maybe okay,

Christian in prayer service on a Tuesday, and and it

all Christian and homes on.

A Friday, Saturday and some Monday.

But we are a totally different person in our campus

when we are with our social group of friends. That's

why you know, the whole term of like social drinkers

as social smokers.

Come in.

Right, because we we're on fire God, we will just

be in smokes right, right, smokes.

It's not fire but never okay.

But you know, are different in our family, auray different

on Monday to Friday, in our office in our neighborhood,

you know, or you know, we could be doing our

devotion in the morning and then once we walk into

the office, you know, were cursing away.

Or you could we.

Wish it being God at night and then you all

secret scenes happened after that midnight onwards.

You know when the altar is they God cannot pour

out fresh fire on it all right?

Why because double living standards right, actually dilutes spiritual authority,

making it really challenging even for us believers right to

stand for our faith and in truth because you know

secret scenes itself, right, you know, all of us, you

know we have to come to God daily and ask

God to search our hearts, right, to examine our hearts

to see whether you know, if there are areas that

we have you know, you know hidden it away from

the Lord secret since itself, you know, extinguishes actually spiritual

hunger uh, and it prevents us from pursuing deeper into

mercy with God.

And that's why, you know, sometimes we just don't.

Have desire, uh to go after everything that is of God.

Or sometimes when you read the word I'm like so borrowing,

so dry.

After these seconds, we just get distracted.

Perhaps you know the areas in our life that we

have to check, you know, God, have I been dead

in this areas? Have I you know, not repented? Have

I been living in a double standard life?

You know.

The word choya, all right, make me alive again? And

we know that before we can come alive in Christ,

we have to die to ourselves. Right, death has to happen,

die for some of us could be dying to our ego,

dying to last, dying to bitterness, dying to pride secret pride,

or her dying to spiritual laziness as well. Okay, revival

will start when our excuse us and when our butts

and right God, God.

But but but can I first?

You know, you know God will challenge us, but every

dime before we say yes, there's always a butt. Revival

can only start when our excuse us? And all right, okay.

Second part, how do we prepare ourselves? Is in the

area of hunger? All right, Matthew, Chapter five, verse six,

let's read it together.

In one two entry.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for

days shall be filled.

All right?

So hungry? How can we prepare ourselves is to be hungry?

And how can we be hungry? Is to have that

secret place with the Lord?

Okay? Uh?

And you know Jesus, you know, when he was about

and busy doing his ministry a lot of times the

Bible has accounted he will withdraw himself to the secret place,

and in that secret place he spends his time with

his father. Now, how how many of us you know,

we'll withdraw ourselves from business? Uh, you know, wedraw ourselves

from writing the crazy this is and you know all

the experiments that you have to do withdraw from it.

Uh. Let the bacterias be.

And and you know, just going to the secret place

and maybe you come back, you know, you just respond

to what you want. You want, I wanted to do

all right, and I'm not sure you know SuperNature can

still happen, right because yeah, yeah, bacterias are still God's creation. Anyways,

you retracting ourselves to the secret place.

And have that solid time with.

The lot because like revivals, you know, we always see like,

okay revivals, Okay, what else revivals? You know, uh, you know,

hours and hours of worship. But if you read history

and so, it died off really fast, and so you know,

revival cannot just be sustained by bye just you know,

endless worship. It cannot be just sustained Sometimes when we

go for camps, you know, we get.

All on fire and charge up and come out like I'm.

Gonna take down on this world. No, I'm gonna take

on the world. Revival is just not that, and it

cannot be sustained by that. It can only be sustained

in the secret place, you know, or some of you.

You know, when you come to the church, you get

all like wow, charge.

Up and fire up.

You love the atmosphere, and then you know when they

leave the hall, suddenly, phew, everything just dies down. You know, Uh,

does that actually equate to a revived person. Uh maybe

maybe you know are revived here, but what were sustained that,

what were prolonged and what will help you to continue

to be revived is coming back to that place.

With the lot all right? Uh? I wrote it, that

wrote this down.

Revival Ready believers are not the event dependent?

Got some people?

Right?

They just sick after all these days. They call it

the hype sick after the experience.

Sick after Uh, you know, the goosebum moments. Uh?

You all, people who are you don't believe us or

a revival ready? We're not just event dependent. We are

Holy Spirit dependent. We are Father dependent, all right, the

Big Father? All right, our Father in heaven?

All right? So do we spend more time? Do we

spend more time?

You know, I'm going to challenge a little bit more

because I've gone through that as well.

Uh do you know spend more time scrolling? Now? They

call doom scrolling?

Right?

More than we pray? All right? Uh?

Checking ourselves? Do I binge more than I read the

Word of God? Do I talk more about God? Then

I talk to him? Right? Sometimes like okay, I've done

my Christian do this and all I've a prettyciate about him.

I've shared about God's love. I've done my life to

everybody else but God. Then we'll be asking, like, but

you're not talking to me. Hello, You're busy going around

about my work. But you know I desire that personal intermate,

you know, time and relationship with you.

You know O.

God desires that with us, all right. So, and the

in a secret in the personal space of us with

the Lord is when the flame can continue to be fat.

All right, gos, we start any fire without adding charcoal,

wood or any burning correct mediums.

It was very fast, you'll just go off right.

So the secret place helps to keep that fire going,

all right. So the third area that we have to

prepare ourselves is the area of obedience. Wow, difficult, all right, John,

Chapter fourteen, verse fifteen.

Let's read it.

It should be on screen as well, okay, and ready one,

two and three. If you love me, you commanments. Okay,

you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep

my commandments, all right. So what does obedion do. It

means that we are removing our delayed Yes, you know

there is such things either we have delayed obedience or

radical obedience.

Okay. The two contrasts. What is delayed obedience?

You know, we hesitate no whenever God challenges, you know,

we hesitate to act upon God's instructions.

Uh.

And and you know, sometimes to the extent of undermining

our trust and a commitment to Him.

But what is radical obedience?

You know, following God's commandments, you know, showing our love

for him, and that actually strengthens our faith.

So are we delaying? Uh? Our yes is to him?

Because God, you know, Jesus clearly said already, right, if

you love me, just keep my commandments as simple as that, uh,

you know, just not as it. But then a lot

of times you still have our butts in our life.

Revival can only spread when we are obedient towards the lot.

And and that itself is a very very important medium,

all right, because later I'm going to come into the community.

Part of revival.

When revival happens, right, we cannot just contain it in ourselves,

right and and we cannot also continue like, okay, God,

it's just all for me and myself, but you know

it is for other people, all right.

And and if.

God tells us it will very experienced revival. God tells

us to forgive. You know, we talk about the Welsh

revival just now that's paid off. I'm sure God challenged

them to, like, okay, settle all your that's direct console

with your family to stop going to pubs and pubbing away.

Right.

If you don't obey that, you know, there won't be

any change. So if God tells us to forgive, forgive,

who If God challenges us to end that unhealthy relationship,

just ended, like all right? If God tells us to

delete that app in our devices that does stop belim

that please him?

Then deleted? Uh?

And if God challenges us and tells us to share

the gospel, then just do it. You know, if God

challenges us start small groups as well, just do it

because every single obedience, you know, sometimes we say, okay,

it's just small obedience, but every small obedience as well

prepares us for that big outpouring. And and you know,

we're gonna look at another revival that actually happened in

Malaysia sometime back, and and it was just small obedience,

but it created such a huge impact in Malaysia. Okay,

So if we ignores small convictions, God will not be

able to trust us with revival.

Uh.

And if he ignores small convictions, how can he trust

us with the bigger things that he wants to do

in and through our life?

All right?

Revival starts personal and I'll look to that again, but

it never stops and stays personal. When a believer, when

all of us are revived, it spreads, Okay, fire spreads, okay,

wild fire.

You know you've seen a lot of lot of forwers. Fire.

It spreads really really fast.

And you know, as a church, you know, as believers,

you know, we have our duties to do personally to

prepare ourselves. But how then, you know, can we together

collectively as this community of Christ, you know, as this

body of Christ prepare the community?

All right? First, really really really.

Important area is unity, all right, because you know comparison

will kill all right, community revival, right, So, there is.

Personal fire. We talk about that.

It begins with individuals and in NICs, our passion for

the Lord, and then it flows into corporate where different

sparks of fire now unites together and with this unity, right,

it creates a powerful and a collective influence that will

bring transformation to our communities. You know, won't you want

to see that?

It?

All?

You know, exceremney when we experienced revival. Every bad devices right, ha,

devices correct?

Right?

Uh?

Why do I? Okay? Devices is correct?

Ill it all social stuff in in somoney, you know,

just gets burn away, okay, because the Christians are now

on fire, okay, and we are impacting the community X

Chapter two, verse one. Night it says, yeah, they were

all together in one place.

That was when the penticos happened.

Right, And let's let's read the fool vers okay X

Chapter two, verse one. So when the day of Pentecost

had come, had fully come, they were all with one

accord in one place, all right. So before the day

of Pentecosts happened, there was already unity. The believers all

came together in one spirit. Are we united together as

a church? Our our of one hat?

Uh?

One? My?

So you're saying, oh, God, pour out your spirit, okay,

get us ready it all God, you know, we are

ready for the second coming of Jesus, you know, riding on.

The clouds, you know, and what a white horse.

You know.

There's a lot of prophecies and revelations about that.

But it all got pour out, poor out.

But we are not united as one you know, when

the believers are united in one, there is powerful transformation.

And that's where God's presence can dwell.

All right, When through or tree I gathered together togetherness

speaks of unity, and God says, I just need to

a tree. His presence is already there and hedells, and

then you know, revival can happen, all right, and revival

cannot survive.

You know, I want to touch on this.

You know, does not talk about you know, comparison cues

because revival cannot survive jealousy, right, sometimes you're just jealous.

You know, we compare human nature or Asians. There's is

what we call it soonness. Right, does what happened to Malaysia? Now, okay,

it's just our neighboring country the gas comparison kills, okay,

but when we are united together, unity itself will actually

kill comparison.

And I don't know what we compare ourselves against.

Inferiority, uh, And sometimes we feel that we're not enough.

And sometimes you know that's how marketplace, our workplace, gossip happens.

Backstepping happened so that you know, some people are like, okay,

I need a backstep so that I can climb up

the corporate letter, faster put another person down. That really

really destroys not the person's reputation only, but it destroys

unity and trust, and it creates a really toxic atmosphere.

All right.

So or competitions itself. We're like, wow, he can play

through five instruments. I can only play one. Or you

know I can sing. You know I have called it

perfect piece. You know I can sing better than you.

You know that's his whole comparison and competition that goes on.

It will kill the church, all right, and it will

kill us as well. So and the most important thing,

it will actually kill revival. It'll cruench the fire revival.

And God cannot work in insecure hearts when we're always insecure. Uh,

that's not much room that God can actually work in

our lives, all right. So you needed itself will attract

God's glory. And and how do we then work on

our on our insecurities.

In that secret place? All right?

So you see the Corey relation. Yeah, second part, how

can we actually prepare each other? Prepare this community? Prepare

your small group in your campus. I know that I

think in Nottingham now there are three small groups happening

is it for three small groups happening? You know, how

do we prepare ourself is to have prayer as a culture,

intercession as the culture. If you look at the history

of revivals, right, they call it the Great Awakening, and

it happened in the eighteenth and the nineteenth century. How

come we don't hear much of that these days? There's

a question to us. Maybe the more common ones we

hear now, you know it's the Ashbury Revival. Yes, it

happened I think a few times already, but the great

Great Awakening, just this period of time, it was preceded

by actually intense intercession.

Prayer became a culture, and.

You know, all for anything to change and transform, it

starts with prayer. Has that been intense prayers zoned into

this community and intense prayer itself, you know with in

night passion and transform hearts, it will transform community. Or

you know that's a small good when we come together

like okay, small good. Time again it's time to pray

or you know sometimes family has prayer autors. That's really

important as well. It's not like it's time again. We

do this as a family. It's just a commitment. Our

children are like Okay, just honor my parents. We have

prayer authors together. Not it's just not that you know,

uh intense prayer intersection.

Uh. You know, we are moving, you know, from just.

Programmed culture right to encounter culture, you know, moving from

entertainment to encountering and fostering genuine connections with the Lord,

and that would create lasting spiritual impact on our lives.

Revival follows prayer, all right. Revival happened and does not

follow any branding at all. Some people are just really

good at branding and marketing. Revival does not follow your

creative posters. Revival does not follow lights, not your amazing

sound system, not music. But Revival follows prayer in nineteen

seventy three, okay, but before that, you know, in Malaysia,

let's look at this map the Barroial revival happened and

this map itself. You know, between nineteen thirty eight to

nineteen fifty we saw revival happening, especially in the people group,

the DIACs Okay and the lumb Ones across there's five

different locations in Malaysia, and you know, we saw a

lot of transformation happening as well. But I want to

highlight the Barrial Revival. Okay, Barrio Uh is in the highlands.

It's close to Kalimantan Aadi, which is Indonesia, but it's

in the district of Lawas. So to go to Barrio,

you're to fly into Lawas and then you take the

jipman truck in and then you Yeah, so it's a

long drive. But it happened in nineteen seventy two. Okay,

in this how many of you have heard of the

barrio revival before? Yeah, and they you know, if you can,

you know, you have trips there as well.

It's amazing.

And they have prayer mountains there as well, and yeah,

go there one day. But it actually happened in a

really remote village in the Colabbit among the Calabbic community.

So Colabbit is one of the tribal groups in Malaysia. Okay,

we have many many tribes in Malaysia, So Colabbit among

the Colobbit people. And guess what it actually starts with students, right,

and you know I would just read because I said

that I won't miss any point. So it was a

student led movement. It was a student led revival. A

key sign of the approaching revival was the student's commitment

to spending nights in prayer and fellowship, a new love

for each other also emerged. You know, as the students

did that, along with an intense desire to evangelize the loss.

This passion led them to unite into fifteen teams of

fifteen small groups that traveled from village to village. And

I'm sure in nineteen seven d T I've think, okay,

it's not your nice two I've been to allow us.

I've been through like four hours jeep right away, it's

not your nice ground law, it's really really bumpy, right,

but they brought the gospel. Fifteen teams went up from

village to really, but before the revival happened in nineteen

seventy three, how many of you know that revivable does

not just happen like that. A lot homework has to

be done right, preparation needs to happen. So in June

nineteen seventy two, Bible College students began to pray every evening.

So there was a targeted prayer every evening and they

start at ninety t pm.

Okay.

As more people gradually joined, they eventually divided into multiple groups. Okay,

four groups for boys and two groups of girls all

praying and studying the Bible together. So what happened, you know,

there was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on Burial

High School. Okay, so it is a Scolakabanksa and Barrio.

On Thursday, October fourth. This teacher okay, his name is

Solomon bulan male teacher. So he was teaching at the

high school. And he's also the CF advisor okay to

the group of students they called the Intel School Christian

Fellowship all right, i CF or some sometimes they called ICSL.

So and being the advisor that he felt that he

wasn't competent enough to be the advisor anymore.

And what he did was he confessed his.

Hip hypo or hippo critical lifestyle that made him unworthy

to serve in his position. Imagine a teacher confessing the

students of his lifestyle. And what happened was after his confession,

he actually led to a series of confessions from the

group of twelve student leaders. And at that moment, suddenly,

you know, there was a strong presence of the Spirit

of God and they felt the presence descending on them.

And then what happened was this led to three hour

pray meetings in all which the students present were engulfed

in God's presence. And what happened the following day in

the school canteen, right during a prayer gathering in the

same school as well, there was another outpouring of the

Holy Spirit that took place. The students that gathered there,

they were just enraptured by God's presence that it filled

the hall, filled the whole canteen. Students stopped eating and

there was just a loud wailing, you know, loud crying.

And as the boys and the girls in the school,

they were convicted of their sins. And after that, what happens,

you know, there was a fresh evangelistic power. So following

the outpawings among the students and teachers they found and

as they shared with people in the dorms, in the

classroom and homes along the roads, there was a transference

of power leading to the revivals spread.

Okay.

This led to listeners to experience the convictions of their

scenes and to pray prayers of repentance. So it moved on, Okay,

out powering out the spirit moved two weeks already okay

after it started. So it took place in the secondary school,

but it also moved into the primary school as well.

And then you know, one eyewitness actually reported almost simultaneously,

this person say, the whole school of about two hundred

students just burst into wailings and everybody was just repenting,

you know, two hundred students coming together, repenting and saying,

Lord Jesus, I am a singer, I am sorry, Jesus.

And not you know, in Malitia, that's a lot.

His hysteria, hysteria, hysterical breakouts, especially in the interiors.

But this is not hysteria.

It was people just consciously knowing and saying God, forgive me,

all right. And what happened after that, you know, which

I'm gonna share my own personal experience of what I've

witnessed as all the reports started coming in in like

this centually say that alcohol abuse has decreased, and and

if we go to the interior parts of Malaysia, we

could one very evident thing that we see today as

well is the fatherless generation. But back then, what God

did was he restored every broken relationship, the morrals standards

uh in the school and in the community actually shifted

and became better, all right.

And a lot of young people were committed to ministry

and missions. Okay.

So I was there, you know, I told you I

was that Lawas and I ran so happened. I was

there when there was Harvardst Festival, Okay. In Malaysia, we

know the Howards festival. It is only celebrated in Sarahwat

and sabah Uh Sarah the gagay Uh and they quite

harry Amatan. So they actually they prayed to the God

of the hours, thanking you know for a good year

of hours and you know, they look forward to the

next one. And what was closely linked every time, so

it's actually pagan worship. So they actually do sacrifice a

lot of blood, animal blood and stuff like that. But

what's closely linked to it as well, it's crazy alcohol parties.

And it's not your normal alcohol and get from the store.

They make their own alcohol ring alcohol and time can

be up to eighteen ninety percent of concentrated alcohol okay

in the drinks. So it's crazy. So I was that Allawas.

They decided to not call it ga way okay. So

they had a Best Stars pasta in English, a festival okay,

open air festival in a state in the stadium. Everyone

came and they call it Thanksgiving festival and and so

so I'm like, okay, let's go. And and I was

looking forward to just experience the culture there because I've

not experienced how the Lumbas and the clubs uh celebrate

even the Harvards festival. So so I thought, okay, as

peninsular Malaysian, this wow the world. So I was then,

you know, educated a little bit more because I went

around like there were many stars, a.

Lot of park.

Uh.

So that was good, but I was I was really surprised.

I'm like, there wasn't any single drip of alcohol so there,

because what I know is there will be alcohol and

it's normal among their culture. Uh, it's normal to drink.

But I'm like, no alcohol, no, no, okay. Two things,

I didn't see people smoking there. No one was smoking

in public as I know, and no no alcohol so

or drinking as well. So after that, I started asking

my friend who is Lumbawang. Okay, Lumbawas and the colubs

are the one that experienced the barrial revival and the

revival across the different five areas that are shown you

on the map just now, uh and He said that

the forefathers and until now, uh, they refuse to allow

alcohol and and smoking happened during their festivals because God

has delivered them from it. It was a broken couch.

It was a broken habit and a broken culture that

greeted the people.

Uh.

And and when revival happened in Barrial, they repented. And

until now it has been passed on for generations that

they will not drink or smoke.

Uh.

And I thought like, wow, you know God in private,

I'm not sure, but ellis there is a public stand uh.

And and that causes people to really want and desire God.

You know, I want to be holy and righteous before

you Uh. If you know, we can talk about drinking.

Uh.

You know, creatures, but because of experienced the deliverance of God,

why do you want to go back to it? Right?

You know?

Only dogs so go back to their own vomit. I

have my own pat dog. She has it back her

WMIC counselors. Of times I don't understand, but it all

uh not of also bout own vomit. But sometimes after

God delivers us or something, after we have experienced the

transformation and revival.

In all the time we revisit that, we visit.

That old woman, and you know, start nursing that old wood,

all right, And I hope you know, when revival happens, uh,

there will be a permanent transformation in the community. And

and you know James Chapter five, verse sixteen, the NIV

version says, right, the pray of a righteous person is

powerful and effective.

Know that it all.

Our prayer is powerful and effective.

Uh, you all if you know God worked with that

students in that highlands, in that dumb bone area, not

in the city, you know, And and God.

Worked with them, how much more uh, he can actually

work with us as well? All right?

And the world God already promises the prayer of a

righteous person is powerful and effective. So if you want

to see an effective change in the community, we want

to see an effective transformation in the community. Let's start

inter ceding. Let's start praying intensely.

All right.

If our campus, you know, if our church, if exe money,

or you know, if if our family, you know, just

praise a little. You know, maybe revival will not happen,

or maybe it just happened a little. But if that's

deep intercession, I'm sure the fire arrival will just slip

across this land, and we are able to stand, you know,

and testify. I have seen this, and I've experienced this,

and and and I hope that you know, in the

days to come as well, that we will desire that

you know, as believe us, that we're not just come

to church to just fulfil our.

I don't know.

Weekly duty as believers, but it all from Monday to Friday,

Monday to Saturday, to live up, uh, you know, attracting

God's presence. I don't know know when Revival World will

sit across this land, but I believe you know, when

we prepare the vessel enough, uh you know, God will

just move.
