  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your.

  3. Day, all right, So we're gonna just jump straight into

  4. it because that's quite a bit to cover today.

  5. And a quick show of hands.

  6. How many of you have been here throughout the.

  7. Vision the Unpacking of the Vision series? Everyone? Most? Okay?

  8. Yeah, So we've gone through four sessions, right, two sessions

  9. in December and then we had two in January. I

  10. think Jason did the one that was before, and then

  11. other terrans did last week. So we are at week

  12. number five, okay, week number five, and there's one more week,

  13. which is week six, and next week we'lieve you on

  14. Jason will close us off, So that'll be very important

  15. to wrap things up. If you have your little booklet

  16. Unpacking the Vision of ex Church booklet, it will help

  17. to help us follow. If you don't have one, there

  18. are printed copies for today. If you're visiting us from

  19. Perth or from somewhere else, you can just grab one

  20. and that will help you follow along as well. So

  21. turn to chapter number five, right, and that's how we

  22. will start today, yep. And we also have slights to

  23. help us follow through thank you David for helping with that.

  24. All right, So Jason asked, Alia, do you remember what

  25. the vision of X church is? I think after four sessions,

  26. if you can't, we should know that we should know

  27. the answer again, the vision comes from Hapercook to fourteen, right,

  28. for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of

  29. the glory of God as the waters covered the seas.

  30. So so we asked the question previously, how what is

  31. the what's vision?

  32. What is vision? Right? You know, a vision is your

  33. dream or what do you see the future? To be right?

  34. So for us as ex church, we see the future,

  35. we see the coming days. We see at the point

  36. in where God is leading us as a church that

  37. we may fulfill this calling of feeling the earth with

  38. the glory of the knowledge of the glory of Gods.

  39. What has covered disease?

  40. Right? So how is that going to happen? You know,

  41. it's really taking place. Right.

  42. We've got you know, service plants all across the globe,

  43. We've got services all across across Malaysia. People are going

  44. out to bring the glory of God to different areas,

  45. to different lives.

  46. Right.

  47. So that's the vision, right, that's the vision and the

  48. mission is how do we get there?

  49. Right? So what does it take to go there?

  50. You know, the last time I was I was preaching

  51. or sharing here on session two, I gave this illustration

  52. of what vision and mission is, right, you remember, right?

  53. So if so, the illustration is this, if I want

  54. to go to Chili Panmi for lunch. So I have

  55. this vision already of Okay, today, all of x plent's

  56. gonna fill up the restaurant, right, We're all.

  57. Gonna be there.

  58. I have that dream of all of us enjoying a

  59. nice hot ball of everyone's gonna get hungry, you know,

  60. of noodles. Right, having fellowship, we're gonna bring our business.

  61. There be patrons there to there's the vision. Then the

  62. mission would be how do we get there? So we've

  63. gotta plan of Okay, maybe we've got to go into

  64. whose car to get there?

  65. Which route are we taking there? Right?

  66. So that's the mission, the making the vision come true.

  67. We need to put things in place, right. And the

  68. mission of X is really from jener six one twenty eight,

  69. and it's from the words be fruitful and multiply, and

  70. make dominion, take dominion, And it comes.

  71. From making disciples. So so we have.

  72. We want to have influence, we want to be salt

  73. and like, and we do that by making disciples. So

  74. that's just a quick recap again about the vision emission

  75. and hopefully after six weeks we can internalize it and

  76. remember and memorize it.

  77. Right, So today we will go to.

  78. Another pe or one of the piece which is planned

  79. was also covered last week, but we're going to focus

  80. more on the implementation. The implementation of hey there's a

  81. picture missing, don't know how it works, okay, the implementation

  82. of what carrying out the vision will be okay. So

  83. implementation basically means the process of putting a plan in

  84. effect is execution. So a plan cannot be just a

  85. plan on paper we have. It has to be executed right,

  86. has to be has to be done, has to be

  87. we have to put work into it. So that's what

  88. I'm going to focus on today. Okay, next night here

  89. we go, quick recap of the previous sessions or just

  90. the previous session, and I'll just focus a bit more

  91. on especially the first part and it says, yeah, there's

  92. there's two different questions in your book and three on

  93. the you know, three statements here on the slide with

  94. the unpacking of the Vision series so far, what are

  95. you saying? What are you saying? Let's stop here for

  96. a while. I think this is very very important. What

  97. are you saying? This question, what are you saying? It

  98. really comes from Matthew Matthew, Chapter sixteen. Okay, so you

  99. remember the story of how Jesus asked his disciples who

  100. do the people say I am?

  101. Who do the people say I am right?

  102. And then the disciples gave answers like John the Baptist,

  103. Elijah one of the prophets, but we all know that.

  104. Then Jesus went to the next question, but who do

  105. you say I am right?

  106. What about you? What about you? Who do you say

  107. I am?

  108. And we all know Jesus didn't need validation of who

  109. he was, right, He didn't need to be told what

  110. his calling was. He knew it was very clear to

  111. him he himself who he was and what his calling was. Okay, right,

  112. But why Jesus asked these two questions is he really

  113. wanted to lead the disciples to revelation, right. He wanted

  114. them to realize for themselves how important it is for

  115. the disciples to have a revelation of who Jesus is

  116. and worse in their lives.

  117. Okay.

  118. So remember Jesus wasn't asking these questions to get validation

  119. of who he was or is, but he wanted them,

  120. the disciples, to come to revelation of who Jesus is.

  121. Okay, I think this is very important.

  122. You know, we had prayer service on Tuesday, just a

  123. few days ago, and then this morning I had the

  124. chance to prayer Ancle Alex. And sometimes when we do

  125. prayer time, right, like, it's quite hard to describe the

  126. complexity of our problems to someone in like thirty seconds,

  127. and then we then after that pray and ask God

  128. for his intervention. Right. So on Tuesday, you know, I

  129. had a pretty leage of praying with Eugene, our host,

  130. and also this morning, and then they ask you, okay,

  131. how's your life?

  132. What pray you need do you have? Then you're like,

  133. you know, everything is really going very well.

  134. Or like you have this huge complex issue in your life,

  135. which how do I want to describe this in thirty seconds?

  136. And and I think what I did with Eugene was like,

  137. you know, I've got these challenges. I can't really describe

  138. all the different nuances or what's going on? But I

  139. need Jesus in this situation, right, And then Eugene understand,

  140. it's okay, okay, there's actually me I know, I know,

  141. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.

  142. All you need to do is just call upon the

  143. name of Jesus. Call upon the name of Jesus in

  144. that situation, and it's gonna be okay, right, because who

  145. do we see Jesus as? Who do you say I am?

  146. Who do you see I am? What about you? Who

  147. do you say I am? And that's what he did

  148. on Tuesday, and so this morning, like we just asked

  149. Jesus to come into this situation, ask Jesus to come

  150. into this challenge. Do we see Jesus as just a

  151. prophet or do we see Jesus as our healer? Do

  152. we see Jesus as the master of breakthrough in our lives?

  153. Do we see Jesus as the prince of peace that

  154. can bring peace in our families? Who do we see Jesus?

  155. It starts there because with the revelation. With revelation, we

  156. will internalize and understand and take ownership right, and then

  157. only we can move on to implementation. So this question

  158. is very important. Who do we see Jesus this morning?

  159. And to a further extension of that question, what are

  160. you saying about the vision today? What is your revelation?

  161. What is your what is your conviction of the vision

  162. of ext church? That's a very important question to us.

  163. We need to be convinced, We need to believe, you

  164. need to see, you need to live out the vision

  165. that has been casted in our lives. In other words,

  166. it's not it's not the faith of our leaders, right,

  167. or the faith of our parents that will bring us.

  168. It's not the faith of you know, just Jason Martin

  169. and Jazz for that will bring us to the vision.

  170. It needs to be our faith. It needs to be

  171. what we say. It needs to be what we see,

  172. then we will see it accomplish. Okay, So that first

  173. question is very important. What are you saying? What are

  174. you seeing? Then we also went to the tree l's

  175. I think other terrants brought us true, we've got lost leaders.

  176. So we are a church that's all about the lost.

  177. We are a church that needs to focus on the loss. Right,

  178. Then there are leaders, a church that's raising up leaders

  179. and eleven, how do we work it out?

  180. Okay?

  181. And the next question is what are we doing to

  182. live on God's diet for us as ex church. Remember

  183. that God gave Daniel and his friends a very different diet, right,

  184. not one that the Babylonians had, Right. He had a

  185. diet of vegetables and fruits. So he did it God's way. Okay,

  186. So let's jump into it today. We have to go

  187. through quickly four parts, and I'll focus a bit more

  188. on the first and the last one.

  189. Okay.

  190. So the first part we're gonna talk about tithe okay,

  191. the power of living by the Tithe.

  192. Okay. So that's the first part Tithe.

  193. And then you're gonna look at what that number twenty

  194. means to us. Okay, So that's a bit of like

  195. just where we are in terms of that twenty year vision.

  196. Okay.

  197. Then we're gonna number three talk about how things are

  198. then broken down, okay. And then at the end there's

  199. a warning. There's a warning and a calling uh to

  200. call to action at the end. Okay, let's go through

  201. this first part first, and the title here is living

  202. by the Power of the Tithe. Living by the Power

  203. of the Tithe. So a question was posted to pass

  204. Kenneth or he asked himself a question, what is the

  205. one secret to pastor for his success?

  206. Right?

  207. So he founded the church, he led the church to

  208. where it is today. What is the one secret to success? Right?

  209. Is a very interesting.

  210. Question because it shows the most important thing you think

  211. in your life that you hold as a principle. Okay.

  212. And the answer that Pastor gave was this, living by

  213. the power of the tithe. Living by the power of

  214. the tithe. Okay, what is the tithe? So you're going

  215. to talk about money today at the start the tie

  216. I've never done this here before on this Yeah, but

  217. the tithe basically means this one tenth, one tenth, right,

  218. So if you know mats, it means ten percent.

  219. Okay.

  220. The tithe just means ten percent, okay, of whatever? Ten percent.

  221. And to help us talk about money, I've got a joke,

  222. which is the first time'm going to share a joke

  223. as well. So this is this is not from the Bible.

  224. It's not a Bible verse. It's just a lame joke.

  225. Actual it's quite lame. But let me try. So one day,

  226. one day, a guy, a guy had a chance to

  227. talk to God. Okay, get a chance to talk to

  228. God one on one, and he asked God this question, Okay,

  229. what is a billion years to you? God? What is

  230. a billionaires to you? Then God obviously answered, a billion

  231. years is like one second to me? Right, that's biblical, right.

  232. Our timing is different from what god timing is. So

  233. God answered the billionaires is like one second. Then the

  234. guy thinks about it, and he then ask the next question, So,

  235. if a billion years is one second, what is the

  236. billion dollars to you?

  237. Got?

  238. What's the billion dollars to you? And then God answers

  239. straight away, well, a billion dollars is like one cent

  240. to me.

  241. Right.

  242. He's a god of in finite resources, so what we

  243. deem as so much a billion dollars on need like

  244. one cent to him. So the guy thinks again, hmmm,

  245. he's trying to be smart enough, and he asks God,

  246. can I then have one cent?

  247. Right?

  248. And then God answers, yes, you can give me one second. Okay,

  249. let's go. Let's talk about money a little bit. Yeah,

  250. I told you was lame. The tithe the tithe means

  251. ten percent, it means one tenth. And we don't see

  252. this just we see this all through the Bible.

  253. Okay.

  254. So The earliest word the tights mentioned actually in Genesis already.

  255. Genesis chapter fourteen, is when Abraham offered a tenth of

  256. his spoils of war to the priests malkiz Dek.

  257. Okay.

  258. So Abraham, after having worn and he hit all the

  259. spoils of war, he gained a lot. Right, he gave

  260. one tenth to Malchizedek, the priest. So that's in Genesis fourteen.

  261. We also see that in the Mosaic Law, when the

  262. issue lights were required to give a tenth of their

  263. crops in livestock and income as offerings to the lord.

  264. That's in Leve Tickets twenty seven. There's different nuancewers.

  265. To the tithe.

  266. That's whether it really means ten percent, because back then

  267. the issue lites were actually required more ten percent will

  268. be given to the levites, another ten percent for a festival,

  269. and then every three years another ten percent, so it

  270. could be like twenty three point three percent, you know.

  271. But essentially the tithe just means one ten, okay, And

  272. it's what we.

  273. Hold onto as X and Pastor reminds us.

  274. Beyond those two different examples in the early earlier books

  275. of the Bible, Jandersen leveatickers. He also sees the tithe

  276. at the start, at the start meaning Adam and Eve. Okay,

  277. so this is the principle.

  278. Next light.

  279. Tidings started in the garden of Eden. When God says,

  280. don't touch the tree. It shows us that in everything

  281. in life, there is one thing that we cannot touch. Okay,

  282. God says, don't touch that tree. You can eat of

  283. every fruit in the garden, but don't touch that one

  284. tree and don't eat that one fruit.

  285. Right.

  286. It shows us that in everything in life, that is

  287. one thing that we cannot touch. If we can touch

  288. anything and everything in life, then we become like God.

  289. Right.

  290. And that was the deception from the serpent Satan to

  291. Eve that moment when she's sin right, take this fruit

  292. from this tree, you say, God told us not to

  293. touch this fruit. But Satan said, take this fruit and

  294. you will become like God and you can see good

  295. and evil. Right. So the tide yes is about our

  296. resources and money, but it's.

  297. More than that.

  298. It's having the principle and revelation that if we cannot

  299. touch that one thing, if we can touch everything in

  300. our lives, right, then we become like God. So I'm saying,

  301. every part of my life. I decide everything in my life,

  302. the decisions I make, I make the call. No one

  303. can tell me what to do. No one can tell

  304. me how it goes. I decide what I eat. I

  305. decide how I spend my money. I decide where I

  306. spend my time. I decide who I spend my time with.

  307. You know, then you become God of your life. You

  308. become like God. But past is reminding us from the

  309. start again. The question is what is the one thing

  310. that makes you successful? And the reminder is tiding, tiding. Okay,

  311. if we can touch anything and everything in life, we

  312. become like God. Title is the title is something we

  313. don't touch. The title is something we don't mess around with,

  314. right because it gives. Then it tells ourselves and it

  315. reflects on our heart of what we actually truly believe. Okay,

  316. so maybe I'll just say this here quickly. There's no

  317. condemnation in the room. Now, there's no I don't know

  318. why I feel like say this are but I mean,

  319. there's no condemnation in the room. There's no If you're

  320. not there yet, we will get there because we try

  321. to understand how God wants to live our lives right.

  322. So so so I'm not perfect as well. I'm not perfect.

  323. None of us are perfect. We're all called sinners in

  324. the Bible already. But if we cannot see before today,

  325. we want to see how God is calling us to

  326. live as Christians. And one of the very important things

  327. in our lives is is allowing God to have full

  328. every part of our lives law right. And the one

  329. thing we see in the Bible all the way from

  330. Adam and Eve, from Abraham, from Moses, is that God

  331. wants the tithe belongs to God. The tithe belongs to God. Okay,

  332. So the tithe is not just about the money, but

  333. about acknowledging God as God, Okay, that we would set

  334. aside our money, our time, and everything else for him.

  335. It's not law but the spirit of putting God first. Okay,

  336. it's not law, but the spirit of putting God first.

  337. That's why when.

  338. The people were instructed to bring that tithe to God,

  339. it will always be the first fruits and the best Okay,

  340. next nighte So a few statements here when God says

  341. don't touch this or God got one. When God says

  342. don't touch this or don't do that, and we hear

  343. and obey, we acknowledge him as God right, because when

  344. we when we when we hear God say something and

  345. we go against it, then God is not God right.

  346. The tide is not about the money I just mentioned this,

  347. but about acknowledging, acknowledging God as God that we would

  348. set aside money, time, and everything else for him. So

  349. it's not law but the spirit of putting God first,

  350. giving God what belongs to him. So the principle is

  351. this belongs to God and we will not touch this.

  352. And that's the ten percent. Okay, Uh, So let's just

  353. move away a bit away from money. So it's not

  354. just about the money, but it's also about our resources.

  355. And one of the most important resources we have is time.

  356. Right time?

  357. How do we spend our time? Right? If you take

  358. the one tenth or ten percent as a tide in

  359. terms of our time, so we have twenty four hours

  360. a day, so about two and a half hours a

  361. day should be tied to God. Okay, yeah, two and

  362. a half hours of our day should be tied to God.

  363. Given to God? Is God right? And are we there yet?

  364. Are we there? Uh?

  365. How how can we live out more like that?

  366. So? Even if you're not there yet, how can we

  367. get there? How can we get there? How can we

  368. carve out more time to be set aside for God? Right? Okay,

  369. So there's a there's a few suggestions here in the

  370. next light, also in your book. Ye yep, God on

  371. one okay. All things are possible with the tithe. So

  372. these are some ways we can tithe our time to God.

  373. Right.

  374. Other than, of course, in the mornings, when we set

  375. a side time to be with God one on one,

  376. our prayer time and our reading of the Bible, our

  377. devotion to Him, that's very important. These are other ways

  378. we can also set a side time tithing to God. Okay.

  379. We can pray, right, we can pray. We can pray

  380. for every need we've agreed to pray for. Maybe someone

  381. asks will pray that day and he said, yes, I'll pray.

  382. That's the time we can tithe to God. Praying for

  383. that person or that situation and bringing that situation to God.

  384. We can serve. So all of us are here. Most

  385. of us are here today. Jane, she had a very

  386. inspirational devotion this morning about serving. She's been serving for

  387. twenty years in ex hosts. Yeah. Well, come on, give

  388. give her a handman. She's turns x host. That is

  389. a true testimony of how a life that is set

  390. aside to also serve. Right, despite the different seasons, despite

  391. the different situations, I will still set aside time to

  392. serve God. Okay, we can share. We can share with

  393. those who don't have the gospel or generosity. So so

  394. tiding our time is also sharing, right, Uh, whether sharing

  395. our resources of money or food or also sharing our

  396. time being with that person. We can make disciples, turning

  397. pre pre believers into partners. Right, make disciples is reaching

  398. out to different ones in your your workplace, in you know,

  399. in your families. We can take on leadership, turn every

  400. partner into a pioneer.

  401. Right.

  402. So, one way we can also tide our time and

  403. our resources is being responsible, being stewards. We can do

  404. community work, so you know, set aside time on a

  405. yearly basis to also go to missions, go to carry island.

  406. That's tiding our time to God. And finally missions, so

  407. going to every part of the world right to live

  408. out the vision of filling the earth with the knowledge

  409. of the glory of God. So these are some suggestions

  410. of how we can do it out tide, and just

  411. two more thoughts about the tide. The next light will

  412. show this question, how can I redeem my time for

  413. the Lord? How can I redeem my time for the Lord?

  414. So this question comes from Ephesians five sixteen. See then

  415. that you walk circumspectly. That basically means cautiously. So the

  416. Bible is asking us to walk our lives with carefulness

  417. and consciousness. Okay, not as fools, but as wise redeeming

  418. the time because the days are evil. So the reminder

  419. this morning is if you find yourself having not enough time,

  420. because we all have twenty four hours a day, how

  421. can we redeem my time for the Lord?

  422. Let me explain this a little bit more.

  423. The enemy will come and try and like robbers about time, okay,

  424. or different things can robbers about time? Especially in this

  425. day and age, we can waste time very easily, right right?

  426. I found myself this week or so like a few

  427. times where I picked up my phone then I just

  428. went through this doom scrolling session and then half an

  429. hour later, what happened? Where was I? Where was I

  430. for the last thirty minutes? Man? Someone robbed me?

  431. Or thirty minutes of that day?

  432. Uh, you're going to like looking at pictures of videos

  433. of like rap towels. I don't know, I've been getting

  434. a lot of that, lizards and rep towels of like

  435. people feeding feeding rep towels like worms or I don't

  436. know whatever they're into now. And then you've been robbed

  437. of your time twenty minutes on the phone here, I

  438. don't know, half an hour and shoppy Suddenly you get

  439. that shoppy like multification and it sounds like a coin, right,

  440. and then you're go impressing it, and then thirty minutes

  441. state they're like, hey, where was I the last thirty minutes?

  442. Or like one hour binge watching on something, or it

  443. could be like thirty minutes come plaining about someone you're

  444. at work, and then like you know, you saw someone

  445. at the water cooler and then suddenly, oh the words

  446. all started coming on and oh, it's so frustrated. And

  447. then thirty minutes later you're like, oh, man, what whateppen?

  448. Or gossiping about someone right, or sometimes like maybe two

  449. hours worrying about something ooh, just thought circulating in your

  450. mind or woke up in the meal of the night

  451. and then like suddenly this thought came to you and like,

  452. I'm so worried, and then it tossed in a bit

  453. for two hours. You've been robbed after two hours of

  454. your time. Right, So the question is how can I

  455. redeem my time for the Lord? We need to not

  456. allow this to happen in our lives.

  457. Right.

  458. It takes discipline, It takes surrendering to Jesus every situation

  459. and redeem our time for the Lord that we may

  460. fulfill the tithe. Okay, let's redeem my time. The last

  461. thought about this is part C. Give to Caesar what

  462. is caesars? And to God what is God's? So this

  463. is a I believe it's a very good teaching from

  464. passer Kenneth. Right, if you live by this principle, I

  465. believe we will all be happier, healthier, wealthier, we have

  466. more joy in our lives.

  467. Okay.

  468. So remember when they were trying to test Jesus and

  469. then Jesus about whether they should pay text to the government, right,

  470. And Jesus gave this very wise answer. He said, take

  471. your coin. Whose face is on the coin? And they

  472. say it caesars? And then Jesus then replies, give to

  473. Caesar what is caesars. Give to God? What is God's

  474. image of Christ? So in our lives, who is Caesar?

  475. Right?

  476. So thinking about this, in my life, my Caesar is Jaden,

  477. Mike and LEVI give the Caesar? What is caesars? Yes,

  478. I'm a dad. I'm responsible to provide and bev them.

  479. So my time is allocated them? Right, give to Caesar?

  480. What is who else is your caesar? Your employee?

  481. Right?

  482. Uh? Sorry, your employer, your employer, your boss, your company,

  483. the one that pays your salary.

  484. Give to Caesar? What is caesars?

  485. So give your best when you're at work, or your

  486. caesar should be your spousals, right, so give your best

  487. to that and give to God what is God's? So

  488. we are not called to brush away our responsibilities. We

  489. shouldn't cheat Caesar. If you're not called to brush away

  490. our responsibilities in life. We are called to be responsible.

  491. But we also need to remember to give to God

  492. what is God? And that is the tithe? Okay, all right,

  493. we're don't talking about money, so remember that the guiding

  494. principle of how we can be successful is to put

  495. God first. Right, don't touch what God has callless not

  496. to touch, and that is the tithe both in our resources, money, finances,

  497. and also in our time.

  498. Okay, but two, let's go.

  499. What is the significance of twenty years? So Jane has

  500. been serving for twenty years. X Church is twenty six

  501. years in February. So X Church was founded in the

  502. year two thousand. We're on February, right, So we are

  503. coming to twenty twenty, the end of twenty five years.

  504. So we're going to the twenty six year mark. Okay,

  505. So so what so what's the significance of we are

  506. actually we are there?

  507. There was a can go to the next light.

  508. There's a few statements here, but I think for this part,

  509. how we should understand it is to know where we

  510. are now. Okay, So we just understand a little bit

  511. of what has happened before, but what is more important

  512. is what's happening now. Right, So it just gives us

  513. a little timescale of where we are at now and

  514. where we are hitting. Okay, So twenty years is now

  515. we are at year twenty five, right. The first twenty

  516. years for X the vision that God gave Pastor was

  517. that the twenty years was like a Joseph year. Joseph right,

  518. So you can see that is it that? Yeah, the

  519. first twenty years, Joseph, it's the dream, it's preparing. Joseph

  520. was prepared as a person to play out his role

  521. right as the prime minister of that of Egypt.

  522. So the first twenty years was preparation. That's where we were.

  523. And in year twenty twenty one onwards, we went into

  524. a time of ext church being called the Daniel church right.

  525. So Daniel means.

  526. The vision right and Daniel means being mean movers and

  527. shakers in the marketplace right, all of us playing our

  528. part in the marketplaces to make a difference. So that's

  529. the significance of twenty years. And to add to that,

  530. when when Pastor was sharing this to us in twenty

  531. twenty one, it was the year the government the government

  532. changed in Malaysia. And also twenty years so shows like

  533. because every cycle of government is five years so far

  534. times four twenty okay numbers, It's okay. Just to know

  535. that currently where I'm at is as I say yes

  536. to being part of ex church, I'm called to be

  537. a Daniel in the marketplace, which is great because it

  538. applies to all of us here in the room. All

  539. of us are people who are volunteers serving in church,

  540. but are also people in the marketplaces. And how can

  541. I be a Daniel in my marketplace? How can I

  542. be a Daniel to make the difference to stand up

  543. for my faith in this company which I mean, in

  544. this campus, in this school which I'm in. Okay, So

  545. that's the significance of twenty years. Let's get excited for

  546. the coming years. Yes, that's part two. Let's go to

  547. part three, next light. Part three is breaking down things

  548. into bite size. So remember when I started this morning,

  549. we were talking about implementation or execution. So how can

  550. I take what I've learned over the last five weeks

  551. and execute and implement this in my life?

  552. Okay?

  553. Yeah, next light. The message was originally also shared at ALDO,

  554. which is our act Leader's stay out in twenty twenty one,

  555. and some of the significant takeaways from the leaders is

  556. summarized here right of what the leaders take this vision

  557. and how am I going to leave it out? How

  558. am I going to break it down?

  559. Okay?

  560. So just very quickly, we want to make sure your

  561. huddle and huddle members are clear about their part of

  562. the wall to rebuilding the wall. We want to be

  563. sure that everyone of the one thousand is accounted for. Right,

  564. So we don't have one thousand people here in X claim,

  565. we have seventy or eighty, you know, on paper. So

  566. it's our role to also know everyone here. Is everyone

  567. accounted for? Is everyone connected to homes? It's our part

  568. to play to be good stewards or what God has

  569. given us. Now, then the next one thousand will come.

  570. Right.

  571. But see, make sure there's a plan and focus on

  572. winning souls. It's about the loss, making disciples, producing leaders,

  573. and releasing Daniels into the marketplace.

  574. Right.

  575. So if you remember, it's not X church as a brand,

  576. but it's X of So we is in homes, acts

  577. of kindness, acts of generosity, X of peace, CX of love.

  578. We do that so that we can reach and become

  579. Daniel's in the marketplace. Okay, so how can I break

  580. this down? Then to my own life? Right next light

  581. Ephesians for sixteen says this Ephesians four sixteen, from whom

  582. the whole body join and knit together by what every

  583. joint supplies, very similar to the scripture we also read

  584. in the devotion this morning. Everyone has a part to play.

  585. Everyone has a part to play. According to the effective

  586. working by which every part does its share and it

  587. causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself.

  588. In love, every part must do its share so that

  589. the body can grow. So how do I make it

  590. personal in the context of here in excls things very

  591. important to see what is my part to play to

  592. make an impact in ex claim? Right, So we've got

  593. you know, like we've got Chris on teams saying yes

  594. to to rising up to play that role to lead

  595. the teams, or Anty on extreme saying yes to leading

  596. the worship ministry, or Jane on host. So all of

  597. us have a part to play, and we need to

  598. know that part and make it personal and make sure

  599. that we are carrying out that part we are playing

  600. so that the whole body can grow. Okay, there are

  601. three examples given here on the slide about also in

  602. your booklets about how we can lift this out. Okay,

  603. I believe Elder Terrans went through this four four different things,

  604. God's diet, his daily break, our tithe and eleven. So

  605. these are some examples of what it looks like.

  606. Next light.

  607. Example one God has told us as as our diet

  608. is to fill the earth and have dominion over things

  609. of the earth.

  610. Right, that's God's way of doing it.

  611. Not man's way, and his daily bread given to us

  612. his method. The how is by making disciples and our

  613. tithe what we upload to God is we need to

  614. start with who we have, account for everyone, where we are,

  615. what we have, and then the level the working out

  616. is how do we make it work, send out disciples,

  617. keep doing it until it becomes momentum. Right, So there's

  618. a formula of how we want to do things, or

  619. another example, God's diet one thousand times one thousand. Right,

  620. we account for what's here. God will bring the rest.

  621. His daily break downloaded to us is we take stock

  622. of who we have here first, and then our tithe

  623. is to have leaders, making sure that the rest are disciples.

  624. So our tight ning klank could be making sure all

  625. the leaders are united, you know, we have everyone accounted for,

  626. and then eleven the working out could be making a list,

  627. coming up with a strategy, creating a system, or putting

  628. up a schedule, holding each and everyone accountable.

  629. Right.

  630. Another example God's diet example of a tree. So there's

  631. a vision of having ten twenty thirty, Right, it's in

  632. four years time. So his daily break, download tow us.

  633. He's ninety percent of new believers, right, and I'll tithe

  634. what we give to God or we upload to God's

  635. everyone reaches everyone of the one thousand new partners reaches

  636. to one person every year and eleven. The working out

  637. is look and pray for an opportunity to show God's love,

  638. display his power, and point to Jesus every day all

  639. week and share. So these three different things, three different

  640. examples showing the formula of God's diet, his daily break,

  641. our tide and eleven will come back to this at

  642. the end in reflection of your own life. Okay, so

  643. look at your own life. What do you say, what

  644. do you believe in? How does this apply to my life?

  645. And how can I write things down to account for it?

  646. Because when we account for something, we must first break

  647. it down. Okay, So next light the few points here

  648. we need to make sure we break it down. Who

  649. are the names God has given me? What is that

  650. one name that God has given me to reach out to?

  651. Who's that one person? Any ideas that I can reach

  652. out more to him? Cannot be just on a Sunday, right,

  653. Like if God has given me a name, someone that

  654. he wants me to disciple or reach out or build

  655. relationship with one of the ideas, how can I be

  656. generous to this person? And then finally to invest my time,

  657. redeem my time. Don't give my time away to everything else,

  658. but make sure that I tied it to what God

  659. has caught me to do. Okay, So we go on

  660. to the last part. And right here the title of

  661. this part is the warning. Okay, the warning, and we

  662. will read a parable in a Bible from the Book

  663. of Luke. So Luke, chapter thirteen, verses six to nine

  664. is on the screen of twenty of bibles as well.

  665. Let me read this verse. He also spoke this parable.

  666. A certain man had a victory planted in his vineyard,

  667. and he came seeking fruit on it and found So

  668. someone has a fig tree, and the person came to

  669. look for fruit on a fig tree, but there were

  670. no fruits. Then he said to the keeper of the vineyard,

  671. the person that keeps the vineyard, look for three years,

  672. I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and

  673. find none. So it wasn't one time, it wasn't two times.

  674. It was over a span of three years. They were

  675. looking for fruit on this fig tree, and they found none,

  676. and he then said cut it down. Why does it

  677. use up the ground? But he answered him. The keeper

  678. answered him and said to him, sir, let it alone

  679. this year also until I dig around it and fertilize

  680. it and.

  681. It bears fruit well.

  682. But if not, after that, you can cut it down.

  683. It's the parable in the Bible book of Luke. And

  684. the first thing we want to take note is how

  685. we see. How we see that Jesus finds it very

  686. important to be fruitful. Okay, Jesus finds it very important

  687. to be fruitful. Remember the other instance when Jesus was

  688. hungry like most of us are now, that he saw

  689. a vic tree from Afar, and he walked to the

  690. vic tree one thing to take fix from the tree

  691. to eat, But all the tree had was just leaves

  692. and no fruit. And then what do you do? He

  693. cursed the tree? Right, he cursed the tree. And then

  694. the next day when the disciples came back, they saw

  695. that the tree has all weaded up. Right, it shows

  696. that Jesus finds it very important for us to be fruitful.

  697. And we look at this parable. Now we see the

  698. same importance of fruit. Right, same thing if the tree

  699. is not producing fruit, we cut it down. But the

  700. other part of this parable is the idea of a

  701. second chance, right, a second chance. That God is the

  702. god of grace and mercy in our lives, and he

  703. has a standard for.

  704. Us to be fruitful.

  705. But he also gives us a second chance, and his

  706. and mercy is so evident, and in fact, his grace

  707. and mercy is the only way we can get to

  708. where we need to go. Right, So let's look at

  709. it from both sides. First of all, self reflection. Yes,

  710. God has given me people in my life which I

  711. need to account for. And when I say that means like,

  712. who has God given me right now that I need

  713. to disciple? Who has God given me right now? That

  714. I need to help point to Jesus or support All

  715. of us should have at least one name I believe, right,

  716. if not three or four or five? And am I

  717. being a good keeper of that tree? Am I bearing fruit?

  718. Okay?

  719. So that's the warning part. And if you look to

  720. the next slide, it also gives us the perspective of

  721. the people that we are discipling. Right, Perhaps that person

  722. that you are trying to reach out to has not

  723. been responsive for the last few years. Maybe it's three years,

  724. maybe it's five years. You keep on trying your best,

  725. but hasn't responded. So should we cut them off? Share

  726. away from this parable? What Jesus tells us is we

  727. need to do all we can do all we can uh.

  728. Fertilize the ground, dig around it, do the best, give

  729. one hundred percent, give it another chance, give it another chance.

  730. I'll share something a bit personal.

  731. I think on behalf of Laura last year for homes,

  732. she was getting a little bit, oh my homies that

  733. here I love my.

  734. Ex closing his ears. I think she was getting a

  735. bit frustrated with how things were.

  736. Very much so like how we write in a parable,

  737. like I can't see any fruits with with uh.

  738. With this thing, yeah, you know uh.

  739. And and I think she's like, I want to give up.

  740. I want to just I want to give up. And

  741. then I think Jason and Jazz and a Jane Vinson

  742. gave very wise counsel to give it another chance. And

  743. then we called more keepers to come. They called they.

  744. Their wisdom was, bring more keepers, bring more keepers. Let's

  745. make sure we dig around the tree fertilized. And you know,

  746. Jade came and help, and Debra came and help, and

  747. Julie came and help. And then I don't know, like

  748. guys from KG tree, like do you like being homes?

  749. I feel so revived and rejuvenated by this bunch of

  750. people now, Like there's so much fruit, and there's there's

  751. a support in prayer, there's support in in maybe here testimonies,

  752. and we like laugh together, we eat together. There was

  753. a second chance. There was a second chance. I think, uh,

  754. And and that the question is like, are we also

  755. giving one hundred percent to this right? Like the keeper

  756. seems to do something else on year number four after

  757. the three years of barrenness, that something else was digging

  758. around and fertilizing more.

  759. Right, So instead.

  760. Of just cutting it off straight away, cutting off that

  761. person or maybe that family member, we should ask ourselves

  762. the questions, are we giving one hundred percent?

  763. Whish?

  764. I mean for KG three? Probably, sorry, guys, maybe I

  765. wasn't giving one hundred percent. But when we did, when

  766. we did, the change was evident.

  767. We saw fruit. We saw fruit.

  768. But if it doesn't bad food after giving one hundred percent,

  769. then the Bible says cut it away.

  770. So it's okay it's okay.

  771. If we know that game one hundred percent, things still

  772. don't seems to be seems to be the way it's

  773. supposed to be. Then we move on, right, Then we

  774. move on. So let's end today with this last light

  775. and it's a call to action. So remember the formula.

  776. I love my homies. By the way, can't you treat

  777. you guys? Don't go for lunch anyone like man? This guy?

  778. We'll start another one. No, no, no, uh yeah yeah.

  779. Chili ban me? Okay.

  780. So so the last part is a call to action,

  781. and the formula is this, what is God's diet? What's

  782. his daily break? So what's God's diet means what's God's

  783. plan for me? It may not be like how the

  784. other Babylonian stated meat, drink wine, but maybe God's calling

  785. me to do this, do it this way right? And

  786. then his daily break what he has downloaded to me

  787. to help me or to help me put into action.

  788. And then my tithe what am I then giving to

  789. God as a commitment? And the eleven is the working out? Right?

  790. The leven is the working out? So what is your

  791. response this morning? As I just would like to invite

  792. the band to so to also come up to close

  793. this time. The leven is I'm not sure. I wasn't

  794. here last Sunday, but it was quite hard for me

  795. to crack my head and wrap around the eleven. But

  796. I want to end with that part because I feel

  797. it's very important. The eleven is eleven is yeas, yeas okay,

  798. And it comes from Matthew chapter thirteen, where where there's

  799. a very short illustration or parable, right, it says the kingdom.

  800. So Jesus then told them still another parable, and the

  801. parable is just this. The Kingdom of Heaven is like

  802. yeast or eleven that a woman took and mixed it

  803. into about sixty pounds of flow until it worked all

  804. through the door. That's all. It's the parable the leaven.

  805. The Kingdom of Heaven is like leaven. The Kingdom of heaven.

  806. So who God is his way of doing things. God

  807. being king is like leven is like yeas that a

  808. woman took and mixed it into about sixty pounds of.

  809. Flow until it worked all through the door.

  810. The thing about yeast, right, if you're a baker, is

  811. ye's there's something that we can't do. It makes it,

  812. It brings you through so it makes it more like fluffy.

  813. Right.

  814. So that shows you that we need God's spirit. We

  815. need the Holy Spirit in our working out of this vision, right,

  816. we need him to be part of our lives. We

  817. can't do it on our loan, we can't do it

  818. on our own. And only the Holy Spirit can convict hearts.

  819. So if there's someone that you are trying to reach

  820. out to for many, many years, only the Holy Spirit

  821. can do that. That is the eleventh. But more than

  822. that is the woman took it and mixed it to

  823. the thing about putting in yeas into a piece of

  824. door is you need to need the door after that. Right,

  825. there's a process that then it's connected with us working

  826. it out, right, So we can't just rely on the

  827. Holy Spirit. God, I'll leave it to you. It's in

  828. your hands. This church, these homes is in your hands.

  829. You say it only the spirit and convict hearts.

  830. And that's it.

  831. Oh God, I have a need in my life in work.

  832. I don't know how to settle it. You take care

  833. of it. Right, that's not the full picture. Yes, the

  834. Spirit of God will intervene and will bring a breakthrough,

  835. but we have our part to work and need the

  836. leaven into the door. Faith without action is dead. Yes,

  837. the leaven will do the work to make the door rise,

  838. but we also need to need and put it through

  839. and put our work in.

  840. After putting in the leaven.

  841. So the eleven gets disciples and leaders out of their

  842. comfort zone. The leven gets us out of our comfort zone.

  843. If you're comfortable, we're just chilling. The leaven doesn't mean

  844. just the spirit of God working, but it also means

  845. us putting action into our faith. What is the Book

  846. of Hebrews say? Without action without faith, without action, faith

  847. is dead. Right. And one of the biggest barriers of

  848. us not putting things into action, I believe is procrastination.

  849. And I want to just just say that this morning,

  850. as we are about to end procrastination, especially with challenging things. Right,

  851. So there's something that you know needs to be done,

  852. but just keep putting it aside because it's so difficult.

  853. Where do I start procrastination? So there's this statement which

  854. I've heard recently. We need to be able to avoid avoidance, right,

  855. avoid avoidance. We may have avoidance in our life, like

  856. something that God has called me to do. Maybe God

  857. has called me to just drop this person on WhatsApp,

  858. which I have last time had conflict with right, so challenging.

  859. How do I start? Or God asks me to go

  860. ahead visit this person? For many weeks by keep procrastinating,

  861. this is a barrier to us moving forward because the leaven,

  862. the leaven is not just the spirit of God working

  863. by earth, putting action through our faith. Right, So my

  864. call to you this morning or my my I want

  865. to just urge all of us today. What is it

  866. that God has been calling me to do? But I've

  867. been putting in a side. What is it that God?

  868. What is that act of obedience that God is calling

  869. me to put in place? But I've been procrastinating, And

  870. I think if I believe, if you just take that

  871. first step of working through your faith, you will start

  872. to see God's grace and mercy. It just takes that

  873. first step. Maybe it's half a step. Also, I have

  874. heard you, God, I know what you're calling me to do.

  875. Maybe you're calling it a serf. I don't know how

  876. to start. I don't have the confidence. The first step

  877. is just reaching out to someone asking a question. That

  878. first step puts you in the right track. What we

  879. don't want to do is just do nothing or put

  880. it aside. Right then we'll go nowhere. So this morning,

  881. let's just take this time to worship and to surrender

  882. every every part of our lives to God. After sharing

  883. the word of God, you want to put it into action.

  884. So can I just invite all of us to stand

  885. as we close this time, as we worship God.

  886. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  887. information on our church, please visit as church org. We

  888. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

  889. this week is going to be a good week. I

  890. hit for you. God bless
