  1. You're listening to a passage to go from AXTS church.

  2. We hope this message will light.

  3. Up your tea new wine, new wine skins. Okay, new wine,

  4. new wine skins. Let's let's have a look at the

  5. scripture here first, and then we'll elaborate further. So mark

  6. chapter two and verse eighteen to twenty two.

  7. This is how it reads.

  8. I'll read it and follow me with your eyes if

  9. you have your bibles turned to Mark chapter two, verse

  10. eighteen to twenty two.

  11. So here we go.

  12. The disciples of John and of the Pharisees, they were fasting,

  13. and then they came and said to Jesus, Hey, Jesus,

  14. why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast?

  15. But your disciples do not fast. They're always eating?

  16. Okay, if you recall the sorry, so Jesus, he always eating? Right, Hey,

  17. God fish, I gook for you, and let's have a

  18. meal God bread.

  19. Now let's fit everybody.

  20. Right?

  21. He is so Malaysian, right, okay? All right?

  22. And so then Jesus, it can the friends of the

  23. Brightgroom fast while the Brightgroom is with them?

  24. What is he saying?

  25. Here is the bridegroom is here, and as long as

  26. they have the bright groom, then they cannot fast verse twenty.

  27. But the days will come when the bridegroom will be

  28. taken away from them, and then they will fast in

  29. those days.

  30. Then verse twenty one.

  31. And sunny he switches on to say that, hey, no

  32. one sows a piece of unshrunk cloth a new piece

  33. of cloth on an old garment, or else the new

  34. piece will falls away from the old and the tear

  35. is made worse verse twenty two. And no one puts

  36. new wine into new into old wine skins, or else

  37. the new wine will worst the wine skins. The wine

  38. is spilled, and the wine skins are ruined. But new

  39. wine must be put into new wine skins. I manage

  40. reading of God's word this background. Just give you the

  41. background first.

  42. First of all, just for knowledge.

  43. In the Old Testament, the Lord had only given one

  44. mandate for fasting, which was an annual fast called the

  45. day of Atonement, which happens in the month of September

  46. or October.

  47. This this is called the day of.

  48. Atonement, and sometimes you hear it as yumkeepor yum keepre

  49. in the Hebrew means the day of Atonement. Where once

  50. a year all the children of Israel will come back

  51. in Old Testament, they will bring the ramp order, lamb

  52. or the gold, and they give it to the high priest,

  53. and the high priest will we'll stand in the gap

  54. for the people, put his hands on the head of

  55. the life Ram. While the eyes were looking at he,

  56. were you doing it?

  57. And then they will confessed all the sins of the people.

  58. Whatever the sin you name, it is going to be

  59. put on the head of that ram, and that ram

  60. or that lamb or that gold will be sacrificed, okay,

  61. and then the forgiven once a year only. This is

  62. what was given by the Lord, to fast only annually

  63. one time. But we move forward to the time of Jesus,

  64. and so over time tradition was set in where the

  65. Pharisees they set up fasting. And the first thing was

  66. not wrong to fast, but it wasn't just on the

  67. young people. It was certain days of the week or

  68. the year, and they would all the month, and so

  69. they would fast. Now Jesus is not against fasting, because

  70. in Mark chapter six, verse sixteen, he says, when you fast,

  71. go into the secret place, not if you fast, means

  72. we do fast when you fast, So nothing wrong with fasting.

  73. But then because they're asking Jesus, you guys are always

  74. eating terrible and then he says, well, the bridegroom is

  75. still around, so people don't fast.

  76. Was he saying that? So in their mind? And like,

  77. I'm the bright groop? What is what bread groom?

  78. Right?

  79. What bright groom?

  80. And then and then we know that the church is

  81. the bride of Christ and Christ is the bridegroom, the

  82. coming brdgroom to get his church's he gave his life

  83. for the church.

  84. Amen. So so so he's saying, I'm the bridegroom.

  85. And then from from bridegroom he talks about new wine,

  86. skin and new wine. So the background, the color of it,

  87. the story is that Old Testament. They were following, Hey,

  88. why you're not fasting the New Testament? You walk forward.

  89. And then Jesus is saying, here's the bridegroom. As you know,

  90. that was sacrificed. That was one once a year confession

  91. of your sins. And we know that Jesus came as

  92. that lamb without sin to take our sin. And he

  93. was the high priest who took all of our sins.

  94. And so he was preparing for us the New Covenant,

  95. the New Covenant written in his blood to once and

  96. for all set us free from sin and death. And

  97. so my encouragement to all of us is, as we

  98. remember Jesus this coming Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, as

  99. we walked through the Holy weeks, Palm Sunday. Today, as

  100. we journey through our time of seeking the Lord, it's

  101. a good reminder that at the Cross, he took all

  102. of our pain, he took all of our shame, he

  103. took everything our disappointments, and he took our debt which

  104. we couldn't pay.

  105. Amen. And you know in.

  106. John chapter fourteen, verse twenty three, remember where Jesus said, Hey,

  107. if you love me and if you keep my word,

  108. my father will come, will love you, and we will

  109. come and live in you. We will make our home

  110. with you. So we don't always remember this, we don't

  111. always speak to ourselves and say, wow, actually, the Kingdom

  112. of God is living in us. Aveen, Wow, the kings

  113. is I'm coming to live in you. And when the

  114. day you said yes to Jesus, when you love Jesus

  115. and you said I want to follow you Christ, whole

  116. kingdom made their home with you. So the Father is yeah,

  117. the Son and the Holy Spirit is living in us.

  118. It's powerful.

  119. Amen.

  120. Amen.

  121. Yo, look at your friend nighbor, Your neighbors say whoa,

  122. the Kingdom of God.

  123. Is in you. Amen.

  124. Yeah, look at you're the neighbor and say, hey, you're

  125. a king's kid.

  126. Nobody's doing that this church.

  127. I'm barney la oh daman dangan dam sang ah.

  128. Okay, all right? That so quiet? Not so quiet, okay.

  129. So it helps you with receiving the word. Amen. So

  130. the Kingdom of God.

  131. Imagine you are full of Christ only because the Kingdom

  132. is in you. God one of the Kingdom, and he

  133. hadn't and he came and became your king.

  134. And has dominion over our lives. Amen.

  135. And so that's your assurance that you know that Christ

  136. has done it all for us.

  137. Amen.

  138. And so Jesus so confident to say that I'm the

  139. bridegroom because I'm coming from my bride. So all of

  140. us are brides, even the male male. The church is

  141. the bride of Christ. You know, Jesus loves his church.

  142. Don't ever say anything bad about his bride because he

  143. will come and bunch.

  144. You imagine if you say bad things about me to

  145. my husband. Now, if it's true, he'll say, sorry, but

  146. I'm sorry my wife misbehaved. But if it's not true,

  147. he's like, hey, it's my wife you're talking about, right.

  148. All our husbands will protect and defend their wife. But

  149. of course if she did the wrong thing, she bedmouthed

  150. you or you know, she yeah, toss the something and

  151. then I'm so sorry.

  152. Please forgive my Wif I'm sorry, please forgive my wife. Okay,

  153. so baah.

  154. Ways, the husband or the bridegroom will always defend the bride.

  155. Don't forget the church no matter what.

  156. The church never speak bad about the bride of Christ

  157. because you don't want to girn now one on the Lord.

  158. Amen, okay.

  159. And So drawing from this, as we enter into our

  160. final week to the Cross and remembrance of what Christ

  161. is done, I would like to draw the thought of us,

  162. you know, seeking the lot in this time, to draw

  163. out from some fifty one, verse ten to thirteen, some

  164. fifty one, I would like to draw out our journey

  165. to the cross or journey to the remembrance of the Cross,

  166. and as we ourselves are seeking the lot in the

  167. next few days.

  168. Now again the.

  169. Twenty one days of praying fast. You know some of

  170. you can't do twenty one days, so you might try

  171. one day. But every day you can still read the

  172. Bible reading. We're in the Book of Joel now Joel

  173. chapter two reading, and just I know it's like very

  174. difficult to read Hosea Joel and Habakuk, Wow, like very

  175. hard to read. It's so much, so much wrong that

  176. the children is just done. But yet that's God's word.

  177. So as you're reading or even if you are reading

  178. the Journey to the Cross in the Gospels, it's a

  179. good reminder of what I wanted to share about new

  180. wine and new wine skins. Now, in case you don't

  181. know what a wine skin looks like, we have a picture,

  182. all right, for our young people, the little people. That's

  183. a wine skin. It's made of leather, all right, and

  184. they would keep wine in these leather wine skins and

  185. leather wh as they grow all it will expand. And

  186. so when the new wine is poured in, the new

  187. wine is numa, so it's still bubbling, it still has

  188. a life, and it will push on the skin and

  189. it could burst the skin if it's thinned out, so

  190. that those are wine skins.

  191. If we have no idea. I have no idea.

  192. I don't live in that time, so I don't own

  193. the wine skin, all right, So I.

  194. Thought we have a picture, all right.

  195. So my word, my encouragement to us is new wine,

  196. new wine skins. God, the Holy Spirit is the new wine.

  197. We can prepare ourselves to be the new wine skin.

  198. Amen. So we don't want to be the old wine

  199. skin line.

  200. You know all you know, shiveled up and and dry.

  201. Don't be a dry old wine skin. Let's be new fresh, right.

  202. You don't need to have ring girls. What's that word?

  203. They say?

  204. Collagen? Collagen ah, aunties and uncles. Yeah, collagent, not enough

  205. collagen all right. So we want to be new new

  206. wine skin to carry the new wines, the new wine.

  207. So new wine speaks of the Holy Spirit. He's always

  208. ever ready to poor you know, he's in filling us

  209. with his presence, and he speaks about reviving us revival. Amen, Church,

  210. all right, are you with me, guys who give me

  211. away at the top, Yes, hallelujah.

  212. Amen.

  213. So I think all of us are walking towards taking

  214. this time to remember Christ.

  215. Amen.

  216. Is good to remember so as I draw from some

  217. fifty one, remember that some fifty one came out of

  218. King David, who had who had broken God's heart terribly

  219. because he, uh, he saw Bathsheba having a bath.

  220. Then that's what her name is, Basheba. All right.

  221. So Bahsheba was having a bath, and there was not

  222. supposed to be any men in the house or in

  223. the city, because they're all supposed to go for war.

  224. But King David, being king, decided, I'm not gonna go

  225. for war. I'm just gonna hang out and hang out.

  226. He did looking at the bath Sheba, all right, so

  227. I won't go further anyway. He took bath Feba and

  228. then later made her pregnant, and then later he was

  229. he was already insane.

  230. He's gonna deeper.

  231. He digged deeper by taking his her husband Uriah and

  232. sent him to war. Tried to make all kinds of

  233. excuses by Indian or I was such a godly man.

  234. He wouldn't do anything wrong. He's just said's king, I'm

  235. here to serve you. And so he sent him to

  236. the right to the battlefield, right the front lines. He died,

  237. And so this is going on probably for two years

  238. or so, I don't.

  239. Know how many years, and he knew.

  240. I think he was suffering with guilt ler, but he cannot.

  241. Bring himself out to confess to the Lord.

  242. So the Lord gave him time and then and then

  243. when he didn't confess, because God loves him. Friends, when

  244. we are found out, do not say God, you hit me, Okay,

  245. don't say that when.

  246. You are found out.

  247. If you are in an affair with another man's wife

  248. and not.

  249. A man's not a woman's husband.

  250. If you are in a court in an affair, if

  251. you are cheating, if you're stealing, if you I don't

  252. know why law and you get found out, you just

  253. say it was God's time.

  254. You know why? You know why?

  255. Because God loves us and he doesn't want us to

  256. further ourselves into the depths, the depth and the depths

  257. of our sin. He wants to help us get out

  258. of it and get a line with him, get right

  259. with the Lord. It's not the worst thing. When we

  260. get found out. It's very malu what to do. Uncle

  261. King David was supposed to have known better. He was

  262. a man of the God's or hut, but he just

  263. couldn't bring him. So I think I had the guilt

  264. or whatever. And so the Lord had to bring Prophet

  265. Nathan to him, and and Nathan had to.

  266. Tell us story.

  267. If those of you who speak Cantonese, this is how

  268. he had to do it. By hi, yeah, ah him guy,

  269. because he who cur y minbai ah what Salah?

  270. I did you know? What is my sin?

  271. You know? I don't draw a picture, We said, wacome timing,

  272. draw a picture for you.

  273. Look, he's gamba gamba. Then, of course he was confronted

  274. with the truth, and he said, I have sinned. It

  275. is I. I have sinned against the Lord.

  276. I repent because he was His heart is actually very softened,

  277. but he was probably dealing with guilt. So he repents immediately.

  278. And we get the picture of it in some fifty one. Now,

  279. as we draw from some fifty one, I'm not saying

  280. anyone here has sin or whatever.

  281. I'm not.

  282. I'm just drawing the elements that I find so helpful

  283. for us to walk in it in this time as

  284. we prepare ourselves to really just celebrate and give thanks

  285. for God's work at the cross for us.

  286. Amen.

  287. So are we new wineskins people? Are we making ourselves

  288. ready to be new wine skins a man. We want

  289. to prepare our hearts. And I tell this to the

  290. Lot on a daily basis. You know, I mean, I'm

  291. also guilty. You've always doing some wrong things, say the

  292. wrong thing, thing, the wrong thing that quickly go yo.

  293. Jesus, please forgive me.

  294. You know, just sometimes you get you get so upset

  295. with certain things and then you feel that. But you know,

  296. keeping short accounts with the Lot helps us to to

  297. be renewed daily. And the Holy Spirit is always ready

  298. because the Holy Spirit lives with me, because the Kingdom

  299. of God lives in me.

  300. The Holy Spirit does convict.

  301. When he convicts, I repent or I search, and then

  302. I have to get it right aligned back with the Lot.

  303. So are we making ourselves ready to be new wine skins? Church?

  304. Let's wandula one tula, don't be all wine skin law? Okay? Care?

  305. So I tell the Auntie angle here, Auntie ready right Anti, And.

  306. I say this in not tour Servicelam. But okay, when

  307. I get there, I say it, okay, CA say your listener, okay, okay.

  308. So Psalm fifty one, right, where do we start from?

  309. We want to start from creating me a clean heart.

  310. Let's start from the heart, and that's what David said,

  311. from my heart lot.

  312. Creating me a clean heart.

  313. Oh God, so the condition of our heart is always

  314. going to be the basis from where we start at

  315. ground zero. Amen, how is our heart condition? Let us

  316. check our hearts? Okay, because nobody can see our hearts.

  317. Only the Lord can. Whether I'm I, whether you go

  318. through something, you know, people don't understand. That's why I

  319. also want to say, you know, when we go through things,

  320. we don't always we must give cut some slack, you

  321. get your not because maybe that day you had a

  322. bad day, but you'll turn it around. You just had

  323. a bad day. But on that bad day, everybody judge

  324. you or there undear Yeah, llah very brother, she'd a smiler,

  325. but she just had a bad day.

  326. So we learned.

  327. I also learned to cut some slack and say, okay,

  328. maybe that sister had a bad day. Okay, she got

  329. pain in her knee joined, so pain you cannot understand

  330. how pain her knee joined, her bad ache, her heart condition,

  331. her head condition, okay, whatever. Health wise, Oh, they had

  332. a bad day, fought with the husband, had a misunderstanding

  333. all with their adult child, I don't know.

  334. All right, So people have bad days and.

  335. We cut some slack, cannot judge, don't always quickly go

  336. and judge them.

  337. You oh, you say, O a Christian yo, but you

  338. don't know.

  339. Maybe something happened in the family, somebody you know, said

  340. something that broke her spirit, his spirit, or a job

  341. was difficult that day, the boss fired the persons older him.

  342. He feels so down, and we add more make him

  343. down by saying you are evil. So I remember if

  344. the world can be kind. Sometimes they're not always kind,

  345. but sometimes they can. People cut slack one No, we

  346. as church of we have children of God.

  347. Maybe can learn.

  348. I just want to learn. Got some sat some slag. Okay,

  349. I'm not always I have to cut to cut right.

  350. We have to because we're only human.

  351. Uncle King David gave us a picture of how human

  352. it is for someone to fall. Then yet God gave

  353. him time. God did not judge him immediately. He was

  354. given time. So we people need some space. Let's give

  355. them some space so that they can breathe. And then

  356. they were in soft insult. They know that Salahan or

  357. the Kurang, and they know their mistake. They know the

  358. la and then they get better later they're like, I'm

  359. so sorry, or they get better, like just give them

  360. a chance. So we gotta check our hearts. Where where

  361. really is our hearts? Are we just upset? Because upset,

  362. we're just angry all the time. We just we're judging everybody.

  363. Every you feel everybody's judging you. Don't go there clear

  364. the heart, amen, heart check just how you go and

  365. see the doctor for the medical check out. They tell

  366. you've got block block block three blocks. Then you're enogram

  367. off the angrogram and your plus c right, thank God

  368. can do? And your plus you can and your plus

  369. You got open hearts, Joe Ry, Now you got exacts

  370. exact right in the middle. Okay, got a zipper alright,

  371. it's not easy.

  372. So before you go ahead, get a zipper on your chest.

  373. Let's go ahead. Check our hearts with the Lord first. Amen.

  374. So I answer to check for heart. Amen.

  375. So ask the Lord creating me a clean heart, creating

  376. me a clean heart. I don't want to keep anything

  377. that will make me said, make me burdened, because it

  378. leads you to the next thing. If you keep your

  379. heart clean, you're saying Lord and renew a step fast

  380. spirit within me and renew a right spirit within me,

  381. A clean spirit, a right spirit, A right spirit so important.

  382. Now in nine my line of work, I deal with

  383. many kinds or many situations, and I realized when a

  384. person is constantly angry, it's constantly upset. I have to

  385. tell that person this. You need to calm down, and

  386. you need I think you need to forgive some people,

  387. or you need to stop speaking negative because this right

  388. spirit is very important to have, otherwise unclean spirit will coming.

  389. Do you know what? Unclean spirit's just not clean love,

  390. clean spirit.

  391. Unclean spirit so unclean means you're complaining every little thing

  392. you find wrong with everybody you want.

  393. To fight with. ANTI said that right I did wrong.

  394. I was like, you do I give me cheaper five

  395. cent cheaper play you please?

  396. I pay five cent for you, I pay one dollar

  397. for you. It's okay.

  398. Don't get angry people because you don't give you the

  399. five cents right. Some people let it, and I suppose

  400. what they get angry right, and then it makes your

  401. heart heavy and it makes your countenance go down, and

  402. you're not in the right spirit. When you are not

  403. in the right spirit, people cannot connect and you are

  404. a child of God. When we don't have a right spirit,

  405. it's hard to be around that person. People don't like

  406. being around you, don't like or not more like not

  407. like I scared to be around you after you scold me.

  408. You're not scolding again. Now of course they will run

  409. away from you like only when I need to see you.

  410. I don't know you know? So where's the right spirit?

  411. Because a steadfast spirit, a humble spirit, a spirit that

  412. is clean is what God comes into. And you know what, guys,

  413. the Lord is a holy spirit. He lives in us.

  414. We need to keep this temple holy, holy clean.

  415. Amen. Now now, so now I want to say the right.

  416. Spirit right, create me a clean heart and the right spirit.

  417. So I toot like VJ the last time because I'm

  418. getting there as all right, I know we're losing collagen.

  419. So to all the ladies in the house, try and smile,

  420. because the complaint is that the auntie don't want to

  421. smile at me. I said, I know I got the

  422. same treatment too. She didn't smile. I got scared. But

  423. this person is in my discipleship. I shouldn't be scared.

  424. But then he had a bad day and the muscle

  425. couldn't smile. You just had a bad day, so Auntie

  426. Collagen could be the problem. But if you have a

  427. right spirit, listen, listener, you can smile. Smile because you

  428. have a beautiful smile. You smile and people feel like

  429. a door is open they can approach you. Amen, I

  430. thought could not sound Auntie Zynajadga. I look at them

  431. like they're gonna kill me. Really, I'm like, what did

  432. I do?

  433. You know? I've just been your bostard as a why?

  434. Because the brain's thinking a lot. Women have a highway

  435. up here. Men is empty but anyway, not not empty.

  436. They're thinking, they're thinking, but they're not so complicated.

  437. It's complicated.

  438. Women are complicated a bit. Love So sisters and sisters

  439. and this and this. Please remember when you're thinking a

  440. lot in your head, because I do that too.

  441. Damn like this and my husband looks at me and

  442. your face like that, like what like like this? Look

  443. like that?

  444. Man.

  445. The right spirit is checking.

  446. Our hearts to make sure whoever says hello to you

  447. just stop for one and say hello back, especially in

  448. the body of Christ, because we already have a bad day.

  449. In the office, I had a very good working environment.

  450. I had fabulous working everybody you know, loves everybody.

  451. Once in a while they get funny people, but.

  452. Most times, okay, I woke up prod okay, serious, serious

  453. people can scream it you anytime one right, but you

  454. just take it like you just ta killer.

  455. Right.

  456. But in the church, I think we all learn like

  457. can remind me of okay, Daniel can remind me. And

  458. see that's a smiler.

  459. No collagen. I cannot go up, cannot go up. Okay.

  460. The right spirit means I know we're thinking a lot

  461. for women. It's a highwayman, if you don't understand your wife,

  462. because there's a highway here. She's thinking about nineteen seventy

  463. two while we are two two to six now. But

  464. she's still doing here in nineteen seventy two what you

  465. didn't do for her, all right, and so she remembers

  466. all this and then she's like, right, and now I

  467. want to tell the sisters in the house we have

  468. the right spirit because we were clean heart and we

  469. have the right spirit.

  470. You take a breath.

  471. Because I've noticed it in different plans, people say good morning,

  472. all these ladies are they look better? You know?

  473. And I'm like, hey, sail ah, good morning. Yeah, because

  474. you're thinking where's the envelop for the titsand offering where's

  475. the name tag? Good morning? What I'm thinking?

  476. Okay, So I want to I want to say to

  477. the sisters and brethren in the house sometimes you we

  478. must stop for a while. It's okay to not think

  479. so hard. But it's just an envelope. Seriously, it's just

  480. an envelope. I just tell myself, it's just an envelope.

  481. Not there yet, okay, hello, quit one ning, praise the lot. Okay,

  482. envelope okay, because we don't want to come to the

  483. House of God and not being able to welcome each other.

  484. But we also if we do get it like this treatment,

  485. you just cut some slack and say, you know what,

  486. she had a bad day and I'll give her some time.

  487. But in next Sunday she does the same thing with

  488. you then and the third Sunday, and I think it's time.

  489. Don't talk behind the back. You just go up there

  490. and go on day. Did I did I offend you?

  491. Did I offend you?

  492. I did? When? Oh, I'm so sorry.

  493. So that's why I did with somebody I said, did

  494. I offend you?

  495. I no? Okay, in change that a bit. Yeah, So

  496. we go up.

  497. To that person, we awn it and we ask them

  498. because I want to have a right spirit and I

  499. want to have a state first spirit.

  500. Amen. We we're taking our fasting time.

  501. It will be a joke that we're fasting and pray

  502. and then we're having problems by not able to forgive,

  503. not able to smile.

  504. You have a heart problem, you have a headache, you

  505. have a flu. Okay, I give you a start.

  506. You had a bad day, but tomorrow you need to smile, amen,

  507. because nobody knows what's going on in your mind. Crying

  508. out loud asn't as I think my mom now she

  509. thinks we all know.

  510. What's going on.

  511. Uncles even know she thinks we all know what's going

  512. on in her mind, Like she don't know because this

  513. one's empty, right, the one thing so hot my father

  514. is empty.

  515. And then she's like getting angry there. I'm like, whoa,

  516. get calm down, please, what are you thinking? Stop screaming?

  517. Take easy?

  518. Come on, Oh so you busted? Yes, I think we're

  519. growing older and we're very short time to live. So

  520. if you want to live life to your full, take

  521. the bad day, turn it around.

  522. Come on, come on, go play pickup ball. Oka it

  523. breaks the bones.

  524. I don't know whatever, Okay, and be happy and be

  525. happy because no, no.

  526. No, you are to say it in the air. I

  527. had a bad day and I'll turn it around.

  528. Create a clean heart, check our hearts, have a right spirit,

  529. get a step fast spirit. Align ourselves because the third

  530. point comes to us as we need to hunger God's presence.

  531. That's what Uncle David said.

  532. He said, Lord, cast me not away from your presence,

  533. take not your Holy Spirit from me.

  534. Amen.

  535. Because he was so close with the Lord until he

  536. was separated by sin, by misunderstanding, by offenses, by I

  537. don't know why you don't like me, separated instead of

  538. approaching the person and say did I offend you? Please

  539. forgive me? Those things were building up and it separated

  540. him from the presence of God. And so he says

  541. in verse eleven, cast me not away.

  542. From thy presence, take not your Holy.

  543. Spirit from me, meaning I'm hungry Lord for your presence.

  544. I'm hungry Lord to be filled with your spirit.

  545. Amen. And I tell you we just said the Kingdom

  546. of God is living in you. Amen. So quick testimony.

  547. Again. I shad this all the time because I want

  548. to inspire you and encourage you. And you may have

  549. remembered this story. You might remember the story of my

  550. encounter with the French lady's fostage. Can sir that doctor

  551. Jen and I got to visit when Sunway Hospital called

  552. me to say, Passa, can you come and visit this lady?

  553. She is end stage of life.

  554. But she just just wanted to say can I know God?

  555. And the doctor couldn't share based on just you know,

  556. professional Yeah, you have to have some ethical stuff. So

  557. she said, could you come? So we went and we

  558. met This French lady married an American, lives in Malaysia.

  559. They love Malaysia. They've been living in Putchajaya for the

  560. longest time. See Malaysias are good, right, all right? And

  561. then she's in first stage cancer and she says to me,

  562. so can you tell me how I can know God?

  563. Between her broken French and my little French sibu play

  564. so broken broken little French. A lot of French, small

  565. English American has I don't know how they talk, get

  566. a dog, I don't know.

  567. Married for many years.

  568. They're in their eighties, right, eighties, going to be eighty eighties,

  569. like and so we share. I said, you share your story,

  570. We'll share my story. You'll share a story. We share,

  571. Share Share. Then she said, do you know I've been

  572. so rude to God. I've been cold, I've rejected him.

  573. I don't care who he is. But just at this time,

  574. I suddenly have this desire to know God. She said,

  575. do you think God will accept me? And I said,

  576. I think her name is Maria. I say, Mary, do

  577. you know the fact that I'm here is because God

  578. heard your cry? See God hears your cry when you

  579. say God, Lord, Jesus help me. He's already dead ten

  580. steps to you. This woman rejected Christ, never lived a

  581. day in the life of the Lord. But when she said,

  582. can I know God? And I said, the fact that

  583. I'm here, I don't know you from Adam and I'm

  584. standing in front of you.

  585. We're here. I think God has an appointment with you.

  586. We shared the story how we got.

  587. Saved jail myself and then and then I asked her,

  588. would you want to accept Jesus as your personal Lord?

  589. And say, if that's how he comes and live in

  590. your life, how do I do that? I said, You're

  591. just a prayer away from heaven. She said, if that's it.

  592. I'll do it. I want to. I want to, she said,

  593. she heard our stories. She are so amazed. But she

  594. still said, but I'm a bad person. I rejected God.

  595. I said, no, I do am a bad person, but

  596. the Lord has accepted me.

  597. And so we said a prayer.

  598. We took her through the salvation prayer and she prayed

  599. it with us, very slowly because she actually can't breathe well,

  600. so with every breath she prayed very difficult. She prayed,

  601. and then as we sit, amen, silence Because quite a

  602. while silence silens. I panic because I thought she died

  603. or something. I look at you, because she's the doctor, right,

  604. she should feel a pouse love. She didn't do anything,

  605. so I'm like, so I came close eyes and look

  606. at her husband.

  607. He's crying. But God's presence was in that room.

  608. In a couple of seconds, she finally responded with it amen,

  609. and she opened her eyes slowly. I want to tell

  610. you don't ever miss that chance, if you ever get

  611. to pray with someone in a condition like that. I

  612. came in a very with a person with a very

  613. dark shadow over her, just hopelessness.

  614. But as we prayed, I could see.

  615. Something changing, changing changing, and suddenly lifted up light and

  616. she felt that and she said, is steady? I said, yes,

  617. Jesus lives in you now. And you know what's the

  618. first thing she said to me that broke my heart

  619. still breaks my heart. She said, take me to church?

  620. Can I go to church? And I well, like, when

  621. you get well, I'll take you to church. In Cyberjaya,

  622. we have a church next door to you. She said,

  623. I want to go to church.

  624. You see.

  625. That touched me because when we can go to church,

  626. we don't go right. I have to be busy like

  627. other plans, like church is not a priority in many

  628. of people's lives. But when when the hunger of God

  629. comes in, because the spiritual feels you, the first thing

  630. most of us respond is like, how can I serve God?

  631. When we when we when we've been vexed leader, we

  632. come back to Jesus. First thing is how can I

  633. serve God? Can I be usher?

  634. Oh?

  635. Can I?

  636. Can I even just hold your bag? Can I just

  637. carry a cout water for you?

  638. You know?

  639. Can I do something or you know whatever? I can?

  640. I just want to do I can I do? Excuse?

  641. I just want to serve She first thing she asks

  642. was can I go to church?

  643. She related, the faith and the church. Man. You know

  644. so many believes some times don't even think.

  645. Of church because it's not the most important thing. It's

  646. a non negotiable for me and my husband. We will

  647. be at church. I've not missed church since I'd been

  648. a Christian, only that one time when I had a miscarriage,

  649. I couldn't go to church. But wherever nation we were,

  650. where if we were on a holiday, even if I

  651. couldn't understand the language, I'll just sit Spanish, Greek, just

  652. sit there and worship. She coined it together, and I said,

  653. when you get well, Marie will take you to church. Okay,

  654. I just want to go to church. I said, I

  655. can't take you to church now because you can't walk

  656. and you're not moveable. She said okay. And then I

  657. told the husband, said, hey, you know, Skip, do you

  658. know the Lord's prayer? You know, being American, they should

  659. know something. And he said, I kind of remember the

  660. Catholic background. I say, okay, I'm gonna lead you in

  661. the Lord's prayer. Let them in the Lord's Prayer, repeat

  662. after me. He's balling. He's just tell you why it's

  663. not his natural So I think God holy spirits just

  664. touching him because he loves his wife. He wants her. Well,

  665. we're praying for her. Next day I visit her again.

  666. I buy the Bible, spend a lot of money on it,

  667. giant print so that she can see, giant praint, very expensive,

  668. and bring some books called Exclaim. These are the testimonies

  669. from our church. Your testimony is. I bring it to them.

  670. I say, here's some material and say do I pay you?

  671. I said, no, skip, it's a gift from me. Just

  672. take it.

  673. So wow.

  674. Then then she says, I can't sleep. I'm seeing shadows.

  675. So when you know people are at the end stage,

  676. they do get disturbances, darkness. I said, no crisis in you.

  677. Let me pray for you so that you can sleep

  678. well at night. Prayed for her, cast out all the disturbances.

  679. Then she was fine, and then he said, you know

  680. he cried again. He said, is this your job to

  681. make me cry?

  682. No? No, I don't. It's the Holy Spirit.

  683. I said, you know, God's presence. And she was happy,

  684. and she asked me again can I go to church?

  685. Second time? Ask me go to church? Are you like

  686. not take you to chuch.

  687. Noao, lah, I'll be judged to you, right, So I

  688. say no, I'm Marie get well, you know, we'll we'll

  689. get you to church.

  690. We p part ways. I don't see her for two weeks.

  691. I'm busy. My life's gotten busy back again. Not in

  692. the country. I come home. Me and Jill are somewhere

  693. in some far away place having a meeting. Get the

  694. call says Marius has passed on. I believe she really

  695. accepted Christ, because nobody asked to go to church if

  696. you weren't truly converted.

  697. Just transform, right, can see the transformation.

  698. I go, we go, we visit them, we take a grab,

  699. We go there, and then we meet Skip and then

  700. I say sorry, and then Skip says, oh, before you go,

  701. can I just tell you something. I'm talking about hunger.

  702. I'm talking about presence of God. And she said, do

  703. you know what, guess what was her favorite book. I'm

  704. like Bible, and like her favorite book was the book

  705. with all your pictures in it.

  706. So sometimes I like, really, sweat and blood do that exclaim?

  707. You know, sweat and blurred?

  708. No writers, I'm like, oh whatdy? Help me sweat and

  709. blurt that dare like, thank you Jesus. Our testimony is

  710. every testament, Aram Joanne. Maybe it was your testimony. You know,

  711. it's your testiny's been to exclaimed as well, and different

  712. people's stories.

  713. And she just kept looking.

  714. He said, she just had a desire to go to church,

  715. and those pictures represented church was your stories. So when

  716. I asked you to share testimony, don't be so proud

  717. and going like no I need please, It's okay. One

  718. day you'll get printed somewhere somewhere. Because this lady looked

  719. at the faces, looked at the group pictures, and he said,

  720. she kept looking and went through it and read it

  721. over and over. Get you just wanted to go to church. Guys,

  722. stop bonding, Judge cannot he single, So I come to church.

  723. You know, if I care what, I want to come

  724. to church. Unless I'm getting a disease day, I won't come.

  725. But you don't know how important the Bride of Christ

  726. is the church that it matters to some people, maybe

  727. to us who are so used to it like as

  728. just another day.

  729. Now, bro, it ain't just another day. It means something

  730. I'm not saying. Only here you can meet sister can

  731. be She sus in your office.

  732. But there's the concept of being a believer and going

  733. to church to worship together, the hunger, the God's Holy Spirit,

  734. anointing on our lives, the presence of God.

  735. Amen. And I've got to run. And you know what

  736. what we need to ask the Lord.

  737. For is restore his joy of our salvation. The joy

  738. of God's salvation in our lives needs to be restored.

  739. As you journey to the cross, remembrance of the Cross.

  740. Remember the joy of your salvation. Now, what a precious

  741. thing you have, the Kingdom of God living in us.

  742. When you're alone, when you when you're driving, when you're

  743. in your quiet time, I always reflect, you know, the

  744. Lord is with me.

  745. He's so good, He's so kind to me. And so

  746. the restoration of the joy of god salvation in our lives. Amen. Amen,

  747. you know I was.

  748. I was so touched to have had the opportunity to

  749. lead this woman together with Jill, to know Christ. And

  750. and something edged in my heart that whenever we encounter Christ,

  751. the first thing people's first thing we do is I

  752. want to go to something that is connected to faith,

  753. to gathering. This lady never one day went to church,

  754. not one day I saw all the photos. I stood there,

  755. me and Jill looking oh wild wild, all right, nothing nothing.

  756. The husband's very thankful. The children, like the daughters are

  757. like inviting me. Come if you're in Australia, come withsy.

  758. If you're in America, come busy, da da da, like,

  759. thank you for helping my mom through her They don't

  760. believe in Christ. But this is what we brought to

  761. the table. That joy came over her life. She experienced something.

  762. So for us it doesn't have to be that nineteen

  763. seventy two it, you know, okay, none of you born

  764. nine seventy two, okay, twenty all right, that joy of

  765. your salvation, the knowing of Christ, when you got that,

  766. you know, Honestly, after having lived only so many years

  767. of my life, I just appreciate the fact that God's

  768. got money in his hands. He's just got me in

  769. his hands, and he knows where I should be, what

  770. I should be doing. And so I rejoice in his salvation.

  771. And finally David says that Lord restored me the joy

  772. of salvation and uphold me by your generous spirit.

  773. I think God is so generous to all of us,

  774. each of us. He's so generous.

  775. If you count, you could count your thanksgiving or blessings

  776. in your life. You don't have to compare your life

  777. to your neighbor, or to that neighbor, or to that

  778. person or your brother's sister. But your life God has

  779. generously lavished you with his amazing goodness. Never compare yourself

  780. because this is where you're at. This is what you

  781. need to have from Him. And he continues to bless

  782. you because finally David says, Wow, you know God, I'm

  783. just remembering how good you are. Then he says in

  784. verse thirteen, as I'm restored, then I will teach transgresses

  785. your ways, and sinners shall be converted to you. In

  786. a simpler word, is just being a witnessler wherever I go,

  787. I just want to testify what God has done for me. Shine,

  788. show up, share wherever you are, Amen. Wherever you are,

  789. you carry God's presents with you. The peace of christis

  790. in you.

  791. Amen.

  792. Your home should be a home of filled with the

  793. peace and the love of Christ. People come into your home,

  794. you know, and they feel peace, not chaos. And I

  795. created there's peace in your home.

  796. Amen.

  797. Again, the story reminding to all of you and Rachel

  798. during the pandemic. Her colleague had such a difficult time

  799. with delivering a baby, having the baby, and then and

  800. then the baby wouldn't stop crying the whole time. The

  801. new the mom would just give birth, give birth, new mom.

  802. You know, got all kinds of what I don't know

  803. what happened pour spotum okay.

  804. It's not spartan, but it's post spotum okay. And and

  805. they're like, you know, going to so much.

  806. Husband, all these guys, the other seventy other sixty five

  807. majority of our nation, and they call Rachel. A husband says,

  808. I don't know what to do. She wants to take

  809. a life, do something Rachel. Because the wife speaks about

  810. Rachel all the time that this woman praise. So the

  811. husband sarmad or whatever.

  812. Whatever. Hey God, okay. So she says, you come over

  813. to my house, just come, just come.

  814. They brought the baby. They entered her house. The testimony

  815. is the child stopped crying. That's what you want to

  816. happen in your life. When the world comes in, they

  817. find peace. The mom had peace. The child stopped crying,

  818. the child slept, the lady could rest. The husband looked

  819. in awe because the husbands was suffering, right, don't do anything.

  820. Peace came upon them. That's why allies should be that

  821. people walk into our homes, they should sense the peace

  822. when you walk into a space. Tests you just gotta

  823. have that confidence and then the confidence. And that's what

  824. I see in our Pastor that he just really humbles

  825. himself before the Lord. People can say what what ever

  826. about him? He just hides himself in Christ. And that

  827. confidence only because of Christ, whether hard times or good

  828. times or challenging times, that confidence, that peace rangs. And

  829. so when he walks and talks to people, that there's

  830. an influence, there's something is.

  831. Passed on to them. Then they ask, you know, hey,

  832. you know what's this you know? And he gets to

  833. share that.

  834. I know. Pastor really just seeks the Lord daily. Daily,

  835. he prays for for our church. He does very faithfully pray.

  836. That's why it takes very long time. I have to
