  1. You're listening to a message to go from at church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. Taken first, the Book of John. All right, the Book

  4. of John.

  5. Every year every year, and I don't know if I

  6. said it last week, but every years, as we have

  7. our twenty one day prayer and fast and also what

  8. we call Lent, which is forty days towards Good Friday,

  9. I make it a point to read the whole week

  10. that Jesus, the whole week of the last week of Jesus,

  11. you know, before he went to the Cross. And I

  12. read it again this year from the Book of Luke,

  13. and wow, there were again new revelation, no, well, new

  14. verses that popped up to me that I read it before.

  15. And then it just so flipping right, And this time

  16. I was popping up and jumping up at me on

  17. what Christ did for me going through the cross.

  18. So anyways, here we go.

  19. The Lord is risen. Why amen? Not very convincing, lad Church.

  20. Are you a.

  21. Man? Yeah?

  22. I give you exercise, local exercise.

  23. Amen, Amen? Amen? Amen, all right, local exercises so that

  24. your lungs get bigger. Amen. So we're so grateful for

  25. an empty tomb Okay, if you didn't already know, yeah,

  26. he didn't just hang on the cross and stayed there.

  27. But when they buried him in this tomb in the garden,

  28. when they came on Sunday to food spices and you

  29. know the ladies, yeah, women, No, women were the first

  30. at the tomb.

  31. Women were the last at the cross.

  32. I don't know.

  33. You know, girls, you're blessed.

  34. Amen. You know Jesus was the you know, he talked

  35. to the woman first. I don't know something about the women. Amen.

  36. Hearts are soft, always ready to just you know, hear

  37. from the Lord. So and the men too, until they

  38. came after after ye, So find a good woman, lessons.

  39. You'll find a good woman who will always be at

  40. the feet of Jesus.

  41. All right, John chapter twenty.

  42. And we're gonna read an account here, John chapter twenty,

  43. verse eleven to eighteen. So if you if your Bible,

  44. you can turn to John chapter twenty, verse eleven to eighteen.

  45. Oh see that woman there, Yeah, okay, let's read. Okay,

  46. verse eleven. Hey, maen, are you with me? Praise the Lord? Okay,

  47. So here we go. But Mary stood outside by the

  48. tomb weeping.

  49. That's the picture that I had.

  50. And as she wept, she stooped down and she looked

  51. into the tomb, and then she saw two angels in

  52. white sitting, one at the head and the other at

  53. the feet, where the body of Jesus had.

  54. Past tense ad lane. Wow.

  55. And then they said to her, woman, why are you weeping?

  56. And she said to them because they have taken away

  57. my lord, and I do not know where they have

  58. laid him verse fourteen.

  59. Now, when she had said this, she turned around and.

  60. Saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it

  61. was Jesus. Why Jesus said to her, woman, why are

  62. you weeping? Are you seeking? And she's supposing him to

  63. be the gardener because the tomb was in a garden,

  64. Remember a garden tomb. She said to him, sir, if

  65. you have carried him away, tell me where you have

  66. laid him, and I will take him away. Wow. Mary

  67. was going to carry Jesus away. She must be a

  68. very strong woman, all right. Maybe she's a heavy lifter, yeah, powerlifter.

  69. Then Jesus said to her, no, no, Then Jesus said

  70. to her Mary, She turned and said to him rabboni,

  71. which is.

  72. To say, teacher.

  73. And then Jesus said to her, do not cling to me,

  74. for I have not yet ascended.

  75. To my father.

  76. But go to my brethren and say to them I

  77. am ascending to my father and your father, and to

  78. my God, your God. Amen. And then Mary Magdalene went

  79. off to tell the disciples she had seen the Lord

  80. and that he had spoken these things to her. The

  81. point that we want to capture was that when Jesus

  82. was standing next to her and spoke to her, she

  83. supposing him to be a gardener, said to him, sir,

  84. you have carried him away while weeping and crying. Sir,

  85. if you've carried him away, tell me. And then when

  86. Jesus called her name, she turned and then only recognized

  87. and said, teacher, all right, let's go to the next verse.

  88. John twenty one. It's just the next chapter. John twenty one,

  89. verse four to thirteen. All right, Oh, this is a

  90. good one. Anyone up for breakfast this morning?

  91. Okay?

  92. Fish the LaPier is a lot of that in the

  93. Galilee Lake Lord of Tlapier. Yeah, I don't know. Some

  94. people don't like Delapier anyway, John twenty one, verse four. Now,

  95. now before before verse four, Peter, you know he had been,

  96. you know, he like had the night Jesus. Right, So

  97. he's already feeling low, really low. If your surname is low.

  98. His surname was Peter loaded. Hey yeah, not you John

  99. now ye low as he was low, and he was

  100. feeling really down, and you know, what do we do?

  101. And I feel really down? And everybody's hopeless. They're all scared,

  102. you know, of all the Jewish leaders. I don't know

  103. if they're gonna come and catch us because we were

  104. followers of Christ. So they were all worried and they're all,

  105. you know, just together. And then Peter like, that's it.

  106. I'm just I can't do this anyway. I can't just

  107. do I can't. So said, I'm going fishing. I'm going fishing.

  108. What is it? He's going back to his trade. The

  109. thing that he knew. He was sure that was what

  110. he knew, because right at that moment, they didn't know

  111. what was truth anymore? Where Where where's Jesus? What happened?

  112. He died? Man?

  113. All this going on and then we heard that the

  114. tomb's empty.

  115. Can't believe these women, you know women, they talk a lot,

  116. and so they like don't know what's going on, right,

  117. and so.

  118. He goes back fishing.

  119. And sometimes in our lives we're like that, when we're

  120. not sure, we go back to this. We just go

  121. back to things that were familiar. And sometimes that can

  122. not always be good, you know. Uh sometimes and I'm

  123. heard worries of how some girls and it really down

  124. and not did they go back to the familiar god

  125. old boyfriend.

  126. Oh man, that's tough. That's tough. There's tough. Yeah yeah, yeah,

  127. yeah yeah, not so good, oh man?

  128. So you know what do we do? Go back to

  129. the things that were familiar with Sometimes it's okay because

  130. we need to.

  131. Find to make sense of what's not clear. So they

  132. go back fishing, right and.

  133. Then verse four, so so what happened in the last thing?

  134. They says okay, like the rest of them said we're

  135. going with you. And they went out and immediately got

  136. into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

  137. That's verse three. It was night on Saturday night.

  138. It's not it's really after the resurrection, right, So they

  139. go out at night nothing. So but when the morning

  140. had now come, Jesus stood on the shore. Yet the disciples.

  141. You can say it with me, everybody read one more time.

  142. The disciples, Hey did not know if you ever thought

  143. about that? What happened? Then Jesus said to them, children,

  144. have you any food?

  145. And they answered him no.

  146. So he said to them, hey, cast the net on

  147. the right side of the boat and you will find some.

  148. And so they cast Remember all night long no fish.

  149. So they cast it on the right side.

  150. Of the boat.

  151. And now they were not able to draw it in

  152. because of the multitude of fish. So therefore that disciple

  153. whom Jesus loved, said to Peter, so the disciples right

  154. thing is actually Jordna. Jesus loves me so much. Yeah,

  155. so John said to Peter, it is the Lord. He recognized.

  156. And now and then now when Simon Peter that it

  157. was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for

  158. he had removed it, and he plunged into the sea

  159. as you would expect of Peter.

  160. Just rash right, just jump into the sea, swam.

  161. But the other disciples came in the little boat, for

  162. they were not far from the land, but about two

  163. hundred two hundred cubits. Can I even counter in kilow

  164. meters two hundred yards, I don't know one hundred meters, Okay,

  165. I didn't get the calculation for that anyway. But the

  166. other disciples they came in, dragging the net with the fish.

  167. One hundred meters. That's one hundred meter run right, okay,

  168. so one hundred meters. How far from here to it? Wow? Today?

  169. Maybe where the TV is, or be further, maybe me

  170. further where the pantry is one hundred meters okay, a

  171. little bit more, a little bit more like okay, right

  172. outside there, okay, jump and you go, all right. So

  173. so they dragged in the fish. Then as soon as

  174. they had come to land, they came to land, and

  175. they saw a fire of coals there and the fish laid.

  176. On it and bread.

  177. And then Jesus said to them, bring some of the

  178. fish which you have just hot. Simon Peter went up

  179. and dragged the net to land full of large fish

  180. one hundred and fifty tree. And although there was so many,

  181. the net was not broken. Jesus said to them, come

  182. and eat breakfast. It was barbecue fish and maybe pokasha bread, ah, okay.

  183. Flat bread.

  184. And yet none of the disciples, none of them. Dad

  185. say to him, who are you knowing that it was

  186. the Lord? And then Jesus then came took the bread

  187. gave it to them likewise the fish. And it was

  188. now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his

  189. disciples after he was raised from the dead.

  190. Amen, do you like my picture?

  191. Thank?

  192. You can show my picture XU.

  193. Yeah, okay, see barbecue fish, Yeah, fish jumping out of

  194. the net.

  195. And that was Jesus that morning. Okay, all right?

  196. Is it was that?

  197. Okay? Anyway, there was Peter.

  198. Oh sorry, I thought it was a fish. Okay, Peter

  199. was jumping in. All right, Peter was jumping in. Okay,

  200. two accounts for you. I'm not sure if you've ever

  201. thought about it, but this is Jesus resurrected, and he

  202. was among among the people for about fifty days, visiting, visiting,

  203. turning up suddenly, you know. And then another story which

  204. I didn't put it up here, was the one in

  205. the book of Luke where I remember the two guys

  206. Cleoppers and his friend, and they were walking away from

  207. Jerusalem to Emmaeus, the road to Emmaeus, and then they

  208. were discussing stuff like what law is this Jesus real one?

  209. How come last stable? What a death?

  210. What a death?

  211. Do you really work? They were talking, right, and then

  212. and then suddenly Jesus, like some movies, we don't know

  213. if he had on like a dancer there, like a

  214. theon a cloak, we don't know. But he walked with

  215. them and then he said, so, what are you guys

  216. talking about? And they're like, are you some bordo? You

  217. just came to Jerusalem? Did you not hear the big

  218. thing that happened? No?

  219. What was it?

  220. Tell me? And so they began to tell Jesus and

  221. then they went further further and they still couldn't recognize him,

  222. and then until they came to almost Amaeas and they say, oh,

  223. I think I gotta go. Jesus, say is and they

  224. go like, no, it's won you hang out with us.

  225. They still don't know who he is. And yeah, now

  226. I need you to imagine a little bit like what's

  227. going on. They don't know the stranger. And they're like, hey,

  228. comes stay with us.

  229. Now?

  230. How am I having tea with us? Let's have coffee bean,

  231. come on, and let's you know, just come. And then

  232. I said, okay, I'll go, because they said would you

  233. would you stay? And they say, okay, I'll stay. When

  234. you invite Jesus, he stays and he stayed with them,

  235. and then as they broke bread, their eyes were open,

  236. and then they and then he disappeared. And then they said,

  237. did our hearts not burn? Because he began to open

  238. scripture to them, tell them about the prophets and the

  239. law and in shad. And then they said, did our

  240. hearts not burn? You can read that in the last

  241. chapter of Look. And yet they couldn't recognize him. We

  242. are not sure now, club Us. If you do a study,

  243. they say there was. His name was mentioned actually clock

  244. Bus in another part of the gospel in Mark, so

  245. now she of the same person.

  246. But they were obviously people who knew Jesus.

  247. Mary Magdalene was so definitely would have known Jesus. We

  248. have known your we'd have known your face. How come

  249. she didn't recognize Have you ever asked the question? I

  250. read it many times? I said, oh, come, you didn't

  251. recognize Jesus. And then these guys like one hundred meters,

  252. so a few assumptions. One hundred meters it's early morning,

  253. maybe he was six still dark, very hard to recognize.

  254. If Eunis was standing one hundred meters and it's six

  255. o'clock in the morning, I'm standing.

  256. There trying to look.

  257. You cannot recognize her maybe hundred meters maybe ice not

  258. good or four eyes so okaynot okay? So uh, you know.

  259. And then and then and then this lady, but but

  260. Jesus was next to her. But she was crying.

  261. She's weeping, this girl, this woman really loved Jesus because

  262. he set her free from several demons that had taken

  263. over her life. The she's so grateful. Now she's lost

  264. the savior, right, so she's crying. Maybe in between all

  265. the tears and the snort and you know, blood already,

  266. how maybe maybe cannot recognize. I'm more dark, some more

  267. early morning, still cannot recognize. But then when when they

  268. when he said Mary, and then she turned and recognized him. Amen.

  269. So I'm trying to put some thoughts together with this

  270. and why could they not recognize search the commentaries and

  271. different commentaries say have different thoughts about this. But I'd

  272. like to if you wouldn't allow if you would allow

  273. me to suggest this next few points, that that maybe

  274. when Jesus was resurrected, remember what was the last scene

  275. they saw of Jesus? What was the last thing they

  276. saw of Jesus? Anybody crucified? What what did he look like? Bloody? Injured?

  277. Maybe how you say, swollen the face because he was

  278. whipped right and and the whip were like this and pulled,

  279. so all his skin was ripped. He's bleeding, right, his

  280. back was ripped. The whole body was just ripped with

  281. these some little uh the metal and the and the

  282. and the bones.

  283. Right there's shop.

  284. So he's he's bleeding. And I said, fifty three says

  285. he was beyond recognition. He was so just this figured

  286. that it just you couldn't you couldn't tell it was Jesus.

  287. But even when he was alive, they didn't even know

  288. who was Jesus, because I've said here many times, he

  289. didn't look anything like the picture that you know, the

  290. ex kids had that day with the superheroes, Jesus with

  291. the specs on and like muscular. I mean, that is

  292. a gorgeous man. But Jesus didn't look anything like that

  293. man with the specs. I asked the designers, I said,

  294. you sure Jesus was specs? He said, you know, he

  295. might have god dact lets. I don't know what.

  296. They had very good eyesight.

  297. So Jesus in scripture if you read Isaiah the whole chapter,

  298. he says he had nothing comely.

  299. That means he was not go looking on.

  300. He's not like Sharrow Khane, you know, he even looked

  301. anything like I don't.

  302. Know, Middle Eastern. You know, Albert Ling's nothing.

  303. You know, because Albert Lingo saw you can recognize, right,

  304. but when you walk around you we might recognize. But

  305. Jesus walked around the people every day, and yet he

  306. was betrayed by a kiss. Because they could recognize Jesus,

  307. they needed someone to show them who Jesus was.

  308. So we've got to use imagination.

  309. We got to think when Jesus walked on the earth,

  310. would anyone have followed him? Would not have been for

  311. his looks. Okay, it would not have been for his looks.

  312. It had to be his spirit and the way he

  313. knew people and connected with people that they followed Christ.

  314. And so after the resurrection, you know, if you read

  315. Corinthians and you read Thessalonians, they say that when we

  316. are when we get resurrected, when God, you know, in

  317. the second Coming, takes up all the bodies that are dead,

  318. and then we'll be changed in the twinkle of an eye,

  319. and then we'll have a new body, right, and and

  320. that'll be your new heavens and new earth. We have

  321. no idea what all this means because we never experienced

  322. it before.

  323. But some of us are like, yes, all my fans

  324. will be gone. Okay, that's it.

  325. That's it. Oh no, I'll go back haird everything. If

  326. you lost hair, you know, all the men will lose hair. Yeah,

  327. oh my hair will come back, and then you know.

  328. According to one story, the book called Heaven is so

  329. Real by this little the parents of this little boy

  330. who wrote it, when he saw his grandfather in heaven, right,

  331. he said, who did you see? And then he said this,

  332. he saw people, but he didn't know who until he

  333. saw the picture of his grandfather when his grandfather was

  334. twenty one years old, and he said, I saw that man.

  335. And then they go like, wow, Grandpa's gonna We're all

  336. gonna look to anyone forever. Twenty one is it's it's

  337. not just a label.

  338. It might be true.

  339. Okay, all right. If you today I look at my

  340. old pictures, I cry cry, Oh my good I could

  341. wear size as now cannot.

  342. Okay, all right, So I don't know the new.

  343. Body, God says you will, the dead will rise, they'll

  344. have new body if we are still around and got

  345. raptures as well, Da da da, and then all our sickness,

  346. all our tears, you know, gone. So so maybe when

  347. Jesus was resurrected, not just maybe it looks like something changed.

  348. I don't know what it is because I wasn't there.

  349. And then the scripture here that's in John chapter twenty,

  350. verse verse thirty thirty one, it says, yeah, and truly

  351. Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples,

  352. which are not written in this book, but these are

  353. written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ,

  354. the Son of God, and that believing you may have

  355. life in his name, that you may have eternal life

  356. in his name. We have not seen Christ. Honestly, I

  357. don't know what he looks like except for what pictures

  358. show us. It may not even look like that. But

  359. you know, will recognize him. How how so that's why

  360. I ask what you indulge me in in what I'm

  361. suggesting today in our faith, that they couldn't recognize him

  362. until until there was a familiar a pattern. Throw your

  363. nets on the right. Where did that happen before right

  364. right in look, you can read that they were fishing.

  365. And then this guy goes there and looks at him. Hello,

  366. your carpenter, we had a fisherman. You're telling us that

  367. we should throw our nets on the other side. And

  368. then they say, okay, we did this the whole night,

  369. but if you say so, boom, and then the whole

  370. net is filled with fish. And then Mary, she she

  371. was delivered by the Lord, set her free. I guess

  372. when he called her, Mary, you know something open up

  373. and she recognized the voice. Amen, and she she said, immediately, teacher.

  374. So maybe we might not always be able to see

  375. so clearly. Maybe cannot recognize. Maybe I had a face lift,

  376. all right, but maybe you would recognize the familiar what

  377. we have been used to. The voice read, you can't

  378. see my heart, but you would feel my heart. So

  379. I suggest to you this morning as we walk, I

  380. also thought about it. When the Lord Jesus comes again.

  381. They say he's gonna come in this in the clouds,

  382. and it'll be so bright the whole world will see

  383. that he's coming on this chariot. You read that in Caesssalonians.

  384. And the whole world will see and I'm wondering, then again,

  385. we've never seen Jesus. How will I know that's Jesus.

  386. But Scripture tells us also, if you read it, that

  387. if we're walking, he says, those who have ears hear

  388. what the spirit of God is saying. It tells us

  389. to watch and pray and look at the times and seasons,

  390. and that you'll know that you'll hear a word prompted

  391. in your heart that the Lord is coming. So I

  392. suggest to you this morning, even though today most of

  393. us have never seen I've never seen Jesus, I've heard

  394. of him. I heard the transformation of what he'd done

  395. to the lives of so many, and then I was transformed.

  396. How did I receive Christ? I've never seen him, but

  397. I heard about him, and I sensed him. I had

  398. an ear to hear, I had an encounter with him,

  399. and then I entered into a relationship. And my fourth

  400. e is that I experienced him. That's all I have

  401. of him, not a face, but his spirit lives in me. Amen.

  402. So as we walk on earth today, as we continue

  403. with our walking Jesus, I want to encourage us. Sometimes

  404. we may not because he says people will go like

  405. here's the Christ. There's the Christ, here's the Christ. Jesus

  406. acond coming coming now now tomorrow. You know, remember year

  407. two thousand, Jesus coming didn't happen, all right? Others will

  408. say this, so how will you know? How will you know?

  409. And I'm thinking the first thing is because you are

  410. walking with the Lord, because you are seeking him, you

  411. have your quiet time you talk to him. The first

  412. thing is that you would recognize his voice. Now the

  413. voice is not hello, Evelyn, but it's a voice in

  414. your spirit. Because you've been talking to the Lord and

  415. he speaks with you through the stirring in your heart,

  416. in your spirit, you recognize his voice. So many times

  417. I hear testimonies from you that you didn't see something,

  418. but you heard your sense in your spirit. So there's

  419. a recognition. But this recognition comes because of the every day,

  420. because of the consistency, because you've been talking and you've

  421. been listening, and then you know, you get being used

  422. to this voice.

  423. At first, not used to it. You know, you get used.

  424. To it used, and you get more and more familiar

  425. with that voice. So sometimes when you're you're busy with

  426. life and you may forget that you can actually talk

  427. to Jesus. And then that voice that's stirring, that says, hey,

  428. you didn't lock your car. Then you're like, huh what

  429. you didn't lock your car because I had that you

  430. didn't lock your car? Like what I didn't? I didn't

  431. border right this some years ago. It wasn't even my

  432. car was the boyfriend's car.

  433. Haha.

  434. My boyfriend was studying in Singapore Bible School. So I

  435. didn't lock my car. The car and next morning, lo

  436. and behold, someone robbed my car right took all.

  437. The whatever CD player, da da da whatever was that time?

  438. Oh, do tell boyfriends, are your car got broken into?

  439. But that voice, actually we can recognize it. Amen, be

  440. assured that as you walk with the low and you

  441. are getting used to him. Just this past week, one

  442. of the sisters in our church, Sunny, said, passively spray

  443. for me. I've I just got out and I can't walk.

  444. Looks like I pulled the muscle and she needed crutches.

  445. And then I said, okay, we'll pays. Say what happened?

  446. How did this?

  447. I don't know it just boo, you know.

  448. And then she wrote to the next day she said, basta,

  449. I was just going to watch TV like rest my leg,

  450. and I felt this. I sensed the voice saying, spend

  451. time with me, and I really wanted to watch TV.

  452. But then I recognized it was the voice of the

  453. Lord saying spend time with me. So I shut everything

  454. out and I just worshiped the Lord and I read

  455. the scriptures. And as she did that, she spent that hour,

  456. whatever time that she spent. As she was done, she said,

  457. as I stood up, the pain was no more. Wow. Amen.

  458. Amen, Amen, when.

  459. The Lord calls to you, take time, even if you

  460. feel like I just want to sleep or I just

  461. want to know I have an empty empty brain, right

  462. empty box, and just watch TV or something, or watch

  463. my favorite movie, all play the game or just scroll.

  464. And the Lord just says stop. Would you just spend

  465. time with me? And she said, okay, recognize his voice, Amen, Church,

  466. we can recognize this stirring. The voice is not hello,

  467. is it me? You're looking?

  468. Oh, it's not. It's a voice that is a stirring

  469. in your heart. And that's what.

  470. Many of you experience. And and then that voice tells

  471. you don't you know? You know that watch out you know?

  472. And then you turn or you you know you, you

  473. go back home and somebody an Another one of our

  474. leaders told me on Friday, she said, passa, you know what,

  475. I really took a break to that.

  476. I said, what happened?

  477. I got ready as my usual. And she's a very

  478. she's a very systematic person. The coffee is here, the beard,

  479. the bag, the computer. And then she gets into the

  480. car and she's so society. She she doesn't like us

  481. who are not systematic and organized. She doesn't, she doesn't.

  482. She just really hates us, like you blowsy people. But

  483. so she's so organized. And then she she goes off

  484. to work, driving halfway the lot, says, you didn't take

  485. your laptop or your note book?

  486. Muh can be begs behind. I don't care.

  487. I'm just driving around. Get to the office right. She

  488. looks there, there ain't no bag. Whoa no bag, no

  489. laptop cannot work right, And then she said, Cela, the

  490. Holy Spirit on me, and I just didn't want to listen.

  491. So there is the voice when you walk with Jesus,

  492. and sometimes we tend to make it. Keep quiet, keep quiet, right.

  493. Sometimes he gives you a red flag.

  494. Don't go there, don't go there? Why what just go?

  495. Just go there Alama, wrong place, or don't get into

  496. that relationship. Don't get into that business connection because it's

  497. not good for you. He's warning us, come on, right,

  498. He's showing you all the signs but you can see.

  499. And then you say, God, please speak to me. But

  500. he's speaking to you. Remember old movie called Bruce Almighty? Right,

  501. then what's his name? The actor Jim Gary. He's like, God,

  502. speak to me, and then the arrow is showing him

  503. here everything still drives and do it? So, yeah, God

  504. speaks to you, but in ways that you will recognize

  505. you just you, just you, and I sometimes just push

  506. it behind. So I want to suggest to you, could

  507. it be that maybe we'll not recognize his face. We

  508. don't know how Jesus looks like, but we know his

  509. heart for us.

  510. We know that he went all the way to the

  511. cross for us.

  512. He before he was crucified, he refused to take the

  513. sour wine mixed with mrk or God, because that was

  514. a sedation drink to let you not feel the pain.

  515. But he said, no, I'm gonna take that pain for

  516. all of mankind. You and I have never been nailed

  517. to any cross like we probably nailed our finger and

  518. never staple our finger. How pain right, it is painful,

  519. but this is nails nailing to the cross.

  520. Jesus did not take any sedation.

  521. No numbness.

  522. He every shooting pain he felt.

  523. So you and I can trust him to see us

  524. through because he didn't.

  525. Take a shortcut. He didn't come one day.

  526. God could just send him one day, one day to

  527. you know, just come and set us free. But he didn't.

  528. He came for thirty three years so that he could.

  529. Feel what we feel, our loss, our hurt, our pain,

  530. our betrayals, the mockings in our lives are failures, our regrets.

  531. Everything Jesus has gone through.

  532. If whatever you felt and off have felt and will feel,

  533. he has gone through simply to say to you you

  534. can come, Just come, because I have taken it for you.

  535. We don't understand a lot of things. A lot of

  536. things happen. I don't understand. I pray that as you

  537. walk with Jesus, recognize his voice that speaks to you

  538. in a man right here he speaks to us.

  539. So number one, recognize his voice.

  540. Secondly, I suggest to you and encourage you, would you

  541. continue to grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Grow

  542. in that knowledge and the only way to grow Number

  543. one is to have a word of God as you

  544. read it. As you read and just read, you know

  545. and in different.

  546. Days, different verses will speak to your heart.

  547. It may not you ready two years ago, but today

  548. it means something to you. The knowledge of God is

  549. what people. People need to know the Lord. How can

  550. I know the Lord by reading what he's saying to me?

  551. Reading who is Jesus? Maybe maybe I asked you, do

  552. you really know the life of Jesus? Do you know him?

  553. Have we really taken time to know the lot as

  554. we read?

  555. I want to do that and continue to know the Lord. Amen,

  556. grow in your knowledge, because when the Lord speaks or

  557. when the Lord comes again, because you have read and

  558. you've married NATed your meditator, you will have a sense

  559. in your spirit that this is the word of the

  560. Lord for me, This is the word for that person.

  561. God uses you to speak and it will set someone free.

  562. God calls you at a time that you says, sudden,

  563. you know, have you felt those times you're just meditating

  564. on the Lord? And then the Lord says, Christina, call Joel.

  565. Now You're like why, but you do it? And then

  566. and then the Lord gives you the word to speak

  567. to your son or to a friend or Yeah. Why

  568. because as you grow in your knowledge, the Lord releases

  569. his words and his thoughts to you. Amen, And so

  570. we want to grow. Thirdly, I want to ask us

  571. all to expect experience the grace of God.

  572. Experience it? How can I experience it?

  573. And this is how I I I interpret this for myself.

  574. Like I said, my four years earlier, I knew Christ

  575. because someone spoke to me. So I heard it and

  576. then I encountered Christ for myself and then I entered

  577. into a relationship with Sheesus. Thank you, and then I

  578. experienced transformation in my life, my testimony. So the experience

  579. of the grace of God is the things that you

  580. and I are going through that we need the grace.

  581. But sometimes I feel we might just carry on, you know, close,

  582. and we Forgod that there's the grace of God to

  583. carry us through. So if you would ask the Lord,

  584. he would come with you in that situation. It's not

  585. that he but he knows he should know what to do, right,

  586. and he does know and he knows what to do.

  587. Remember last week I said, God extended my what time

  588. the submission timing from five pm last last Sunday to

  589. eleven pm.

  590. I didn't even have to ask the Lord for that.

  591. He just did it for me.

  592. So God does give us, you know, beautiful surprises right there.

  593. But there are times when you are going through don't

  594. be too shy, too scared, too proud to just speak

  595. to the Lord and say, God, I just want to

  596. experience your deliverance in this issue.

  597. I want to experience your guidance.

  598. I believe you will. You will enter into that experience

  599. of the fullness of God's working his word, his direction.

  600. There are just people in this room that have shared testimony.

  601. Is how God is you just experience is Him guiding

  602. you every step of the way and on this way

  603. to do the business.

  604. Okay, do this, go this, meet this person, You experience it,

  605. experiencing the.

  606. Grace of God in your life. Amen, see this doctor.

  607. Go to that hospital. Yeah, move today, you need that

  608. paper sign go to this office this time.

  609. You're like, why you know? And then but then you're

  610. in land and.

  611. You're okay, okay, I believe it's the Lord, and you

  612. do it, and then you meet the right officer and

  613. then your document gets you know, stamped and approved. I

  614. think we all need a little bit more of that

  615. experience of this grace of God in our lives, especially

  616. in the midst of your challenge and that storm that

  617. you don't know what's going on.

  618. Then you ask get into the experience.

  619. So why because we're going to learn to recognize God's

  620. leading God's boys, growing in our knowledge that he does

  621. things not the same pattern every time, but he does

  622. it in various amazing examples to us. Amen, So experience

  623. the grace of God that way. I think you've heard

  624. past the chef. You haven't for the sake of others.

  625. How many many years ago and my father in law

  626. had a stroke and we had to take care of

  627. my father in law and that's how I ended up

  628. in Quota, Kamonning twenty six years ago. How did I

  629. come to Quota because of my father in law who

  630. had a stroke and then we had to take care

  631. of him, and we had to find the right house

  632. so that he would have an en suite, toilet and

  633. the robe. And we found the house that I'm staying

  634. now with no money. Right we had no money to

  635. pay that kind of rent. But but we couldn't personally

  636. take care because I still had to work. I had

  637. to work right past us to work. And then we said, okay,

  638. we'll go get a helper. But you all a right

  639. to get a helper. I must earn a certain amount.

  640. Both of us have to have a certain amount of earnings,

  641. which he has no earnings and mine was just so little,

  642. all right. So but he felt that he would just

  643. go fill up the papers, go. There was passes on

  644. personal experience that I put. I myself was not with

  645. him in that journey. I was just I just had

  646. to take care of the ministry. So I had to

  647. go every day do the stuff. But he had to

  648. walk this journey by himself to go and sit in

  649. front of the officer. And when they said, where is

  650. your documents, your KWSB, your EPF, your salary that is

  651. I don't have, then you can't. Then the lord says

  652. sit back there. So he sits back there and then

  653. a lady walks in.

  654. If you heard.

  655. Kick CLICKLUCKI clup cick club with a handbag, you know, hi,

  656. heues kick cluck cy cluckyck club mana Orantu sana jumper

  657. manatu you need to And then they're like, hey, he

  658. got a meet.

  659. He got me. T no, no, no no, I said

  660. a bangadier.

  661. I got my run.

  662. And the Lord said follow her, follow her. You can

  663. imagine that voice. Follow her, okay, follow and uh. The

  664. lady gets something done with the main officer and then

  665. the doors open. Bust just peeps in and he goes like,

  666. what do you want? And he said, sir, I just

  667. have these documents. I need your approval, but you should

  668. do it outside.

  669. But I'm here. Here's the document. And God moves.

  670. This is impossible. It's impossible for us. We have no papers,

  671. we have no that kind of salary. They turn the

  672. pages and then he goes, hey, that's Mike Bernie. Who

  673. is he?

  674. It's my dad, so.

  675. Oh my money, young lapper. He's got stroke ogus. So

  676. how what do you need me? I said, we just

  677. need your sickney. I just need a stamp so that

  678. I can get a helper. The guy just stamped in.

  679. Then he click, club goes to the officer.

  680. Nah ganada Jacab, you need that paper. There's a bit

  681. so I know. Amen.

  682. Amen, you need an experience.

  683. You need to come on, give God praise. Come on people,

  684. we gotta have some energy, got some expectation of what

  685. the Holy Spirit can do and will do. We live.

  686. You're not called to live a normal life. You're called

  687. to live supernatural.

  688. You and I, You and I, You and I called

  689. to live supernatural. And and this is what I had

  690. to live for the last.

  691. Four weeks, supernatural.

  692. I'm like and have to write the DCS like I

  693. can't do this law, you know, like why do I

  694. do this? But then you have to call on the

  695. law loud. Okay, Jesus, I need your help, right. We

  696. need an experience, amen, we need an experience. So that's

  697. how you begin to exercise that listening and that recognizing

  698. of the voice of God, the direction. Why would you

  699. follow antick law? You follow me? Right? But that's what

  700. the Lord said, do it, and he did it. That's

  701. an experience that takes experience. Never let something like not

  702. enough money.

  703. That door not open.

  704. Sohow No, there are people here in this room waiting

  705. for a door to open. And you just need that

  706. one word from the Lord, that one voice of the

  707. Holy Spirit saying this is the way to go, and

  708. then you are assured that is the way you need

  709. that I need that experience of the grace of God.

  710. It's powerful church.

  711. The Church is filled with the grace of God, but

  712. the church refuses to engage in that grace because it

  713. feels funny, it feels silly to ask for such things.

  714. If pastors did not follow the lady, he would not

  715. have met the officer or the boss, and it would

  716. not have got me if he thought it was so

  717. silly to follow the lady.

  718. Right, but he did. That's childlike faith.

  719. That's faith and bracing the grace that God gives to us. Amen,

  720. Come on, judge, be encouraged. You know, it's really not

  721. what you can see. It's what you can't see, but

  722. you sense in your heart the Lord is for you.

  723. He's not against you. He's for you. You trust him. And

  724. then the next one is when you can't understand, then

  725. what you say, His ways are higher and his thoughts

  726. are higher. His ways are always higher. We cannot beat

  727. his plans. His ways are higher and his thoughts are higher,

  728. and we rely and then we surrender to that plan

  729. of God that we couldn't understand why it happened. Amen.

  730. So there's a higher way the Lord will lead you.

  731. And maybe nobody else has done that pathway, but you're

  732. taking it. You're saying it sounds so nobody to reference. Lave,

  733. you be the reference law. God has told you this

  734. way to go, you take it because his ways are higher,

  735. his thoughts are higher. Maybe you've been through something, a loss,

  736. a lack, a complication, something that, No, it's so tough.

  737. But as you begin to surrender and you tell the

  738. Lord your ways are higher than mine and your thoughts

  739. are higher, Lord, you take over and allow the Holy

  740. Spirit to lead you. I have to say many times

  741. when we have done that, the road has been different

  742. from what I expected, but it was a better road,

  743. and it just opened doors that I would never have

  744. seen that.

  745. But the Lord knows.

  746. Amen.

  747. So that's my my again, my suggestion to us at Wow.

  748. We can't always recognize the face because I have not

  749. met Jesus, but there's this spirit of God that works

  750. in us, and my experience of him brings that, you know,

  751. the assurance that God is not gonna let us go. Amen.

  752. And all that He's done at the cross, he did

  753. not get numbing medication. He took the stripes, the whipping,

  754. the crown of thorns, the crucifixion to experience our loss

  755. and our pain and our shame. Remember, Jesus hung there naked, naked,

  756. Our Lord was naked. He went all the way so

  757. that you would come. You can trust in Jesus. You

  758. can trust. That's my last point. You can trust in

  759. Jesus because no other man has ever gone through what

  760. he has done to die, almost humiliate death, but to

  761. have walked a journey of both the good, the rejoicing,

  762. but also the humiliation the losses. He did it so

  763. that you and I could come that he has walked

  764. in the path that we will walk.

  765. And someone wrote and said the last word that he said.

  766. Was I thirst.

  767. I thirst.

  768. First, you don't want to drink this our point, because

  769. he wants to take all the pain. And then now

  770. he says I But when did he say I thirst?

  771. He said it and you read it in the Gospels,

  772. when everything that scripture has written was done, all accomplished.

  773. And then he said I. First they took the sponge

  774. of sour wine, no gall no more.

  775. They touched his lips.

  776. You can imagine if I ask you when was the

  777. last time Jesus had a drink?

  778. This is Friday.

  779. On Thursday they had to pass over supper, right, and

  780. he said, this is the cup that I will drink

  781. no other time except when you come into my kingdom,

  782. when you see each other again. That was the last

  783. time he had a drink. And from that time till

  784. the hanging on the cross, there was no water to drink.

  785. So with all that he went through, probably having fever.

  786. And I don't know. Medical doctors will know better when

  787. you get beaten like this and you know, woundered, you know,

  788. just I think fever will be the first thing that happens,

  789. because open wound, that lips are dry, throat, this dry,

  790. probably not much voice. And yet he settles everything, you know,

  791. like John, this is your mom, Now take care of

  792. my mom. Right, And then he goes forgive them lord,

  793. because they don't know what they do.

  794. And then he goes, I thirst, why of all things

  795. earlier wandry? Now you see you dress. I think it

  796. was just human.

  797. That he would thirst.

  798. He was sleepy before he got angry. He was hungry.

  799. He thirst.

  800. So we could come, so we could come. And then

  801. he breath breathes last, and he went so the Roman

  802. soldiers didn't kill him, they didn't take his life. When

  803. everything was done, you breathe this last, and then he went.

  804. He laid his life down according to his time. So

  805. all was done so you could come, All of this

  806. could all was done for us so that we could

  807. come a man church. So really we do have a

  808. very victorious entry into heaven to serve the Lord, to

  809. live for him, to live every day with these thoughts

  810. in your mind, that you would recognize his voice, the

  811. familiar sound of his voice to you. How you'll sound

  812. to me will be different now how he sounds to you.

  813. Maybe he'll call you Ariel. Maybe he'll call you a sweetheart.

  814. Maybe he'll call your daughter. Maybe you'll call your son.

  815. Maybe you'll call you Jai. Maybe you'll call you I

  816. don't know reason he has a secret Christian name. I

  817. don't know. I don't know. Maybe he'll call you and

  818. you would recognize it, and then you grow in your

  819. knowledge of him. You just keep you know, how do

  820. we read biographies, don't we? And we get to know

  821. about this person right, and oh he did this, and

  822. he did that. Oh that's what he liked to do.

  823. And that's how we know the stories of men of

  824. old have conquered and done great things. We read about them.

  825. Now we have the Bible, read about Jesus, about our

  826. father heavenly Father, we read. Amen, So we grow in

  827. our knowledge. We experience the grace of God. As you

  828. experience him, know that his ways are higher, his thoughts

  829. are higher than your thoughts. And you can't trust him

  830. because He's done everything. So you would come, you could come, Amen, Amen,

  831. Church to this morning, may you establish this thoughts, this

  832. thoughts for your own walking Christ as we remember the

  833. finished work at the cross. So remember today the tomb

  834. that was, the tomb that is empty. Amen. Nobody's dead,

  835. their body lie nothing there. And if you're still looking

  836. for Jesus, there's there.

  841. a church, as we speak to one another, we are

  842. living in very difficult times, very very trying times, and

  843. maybe it'll get worse. But don't just get caught up

  844. with what the news is. Get caught up with that

  845. voice that is going to come you and speak with

  846. you about the needs that you have. That the Lord

  847. would speak to you and direct you. Some of you

  848. will get you know, even ways of what to do

  849. and how to do it and how to you know,

  850. I don't know, jugger your wealth or whatever. I don't know,

  851. take care of this or the But I want to say,

  852. we want to be anchored in our faith in Christ,

  853. in a faith that no other has been able to

  854. confirm and say to us, he is risen and he

  855. has gone through all things for us so that we

  856. might have life and life more abundantly. Amen. And we

  857. do not have to fear what the news brings each day.

  858. It will trouble us, that's normal, but may fear not

  859. grip your heart and say that's grip you, grit your

  860. how my children's education are you how? We have to

  861. just say, Lord, I don't know how, but you know.

  862. And we will have to trust God in these last

  863. last days. We're not yet really at there, but it's

  864. getting there. So whatever that's gonna sway your faith today

  865. is still the day of grace for us to learn

  866. to recognize.

  867. His voice, as I repeat myself, to grow in.

  868. Your knowledge of the Lord. Come on, don't let the

  869. Bible carry us. You opened the Bible daily, don't make

  870. it like your library. Take it, flip it, open, realy

  876. so that you know and you can testify the people

  877. in this room who experienced God's provision. You didn't know

  878. what was happening, how it was going to take place,

  879. but the Lord opened away for you and you are

  880. experiencing his higher ways, his higher thoughts. I just want

  881. to say, you can trust Jesus over and over again.
