We hope this message will light up your day.

The title for the sermon today is called Revive Us. Okay,

revive us?

Right. So when you hear the word revive, you know,

have you seen shows.

Where someone has fainted, someone has fainted, or someone is

has probably very sick and on the verge of dying,

and then the doctors come in and then they try

and revive that person. They use some electrical electrical current

to sort of try and awaken that person.

Right.

And for us, what revive means is that, okay, we

need to something in us to awaken. There is something

in us that needs to awaken. Okay, So that that

is the title. So I wanted us to even as

I go to the next slide.

Okay.

So twenty twenty five was the year of discipleship, right,

year of discipleship. So this was the year that we

learned a lot about following Jesus, learning about Jesus, living

like Jesus, and telling others about Jesus. So there was

twenty twenty five we wanted to learn get our foundations right.

Once we get our foundations right, twenty twenty six then

is when we are poised for We are saying that God,

we are ready for you to move. We are ready

for you to move. So that's why it's the year

of Revival. So it's a spiritual release, you know, That's why.

And the Holy Spirit comes and takes over and for

his glory.

So you see twenty twenty seven nine.

If you look at the acronym, right, it stands for dream,

D is for discipleship, R is for revival, E is

for evangelism, A is for action, and M is for missions.

So that would lead us all the way to twenty

twenty nine. Remember, and we had the Unpacking series. We

were we were going the vision for twenty thirty. So

all this is in preparation for that. So we have

learned about discipleship, covered it in exhaustive last year. So

this year we're talking about revival and after revival, what

happens evangelism? Dre right, how many of y'all think evangelism

is easy? Anyone thinks evangelism is easy, Okay, one hand,

X and Jared, all right, so y'all thing is easy.

But for the majority of us, evangelism is not easy, right,

because there's a lot of fear. You're not sure whether

you say the right thing or you will You're afraid

that you'll get rejected. That's why we need revival before evangelism,

because when revival comes, it takes away all our fear,

It takes away all our doubts. And that is what

we will learn today. Okay, So next light. So this

was disciple ship, right, Learn, Live and tell? Do you

all remember this? Learn, Live and tell discipleship? That's a

this learns from Jesus, lives like Jesus and tells others

about Jesus. Okay, So before I go to the next light, right,

I wanted to ask you all this question before, when

Jesus was with the disciples, did the disciples have.

God in them?

When when Jesus was with the disciples, did the disciples

have God in them?

One person says yes, anyone else? Trick question, Not trick question.

Think about it.

Jesus was with them, so God was with them, But

was God in.

Them anyone else?

So that is a good question, right, because to the point,

Jesus was with them, so they learned from Jesus, they

lived like Jesus, and they told others about Jesus. But

God was not yet in them, because the Holy Spirit

came only after Jesus ascended.

That was when God was in them.

Right, they believed in Jesus, but the God, the Holy

Spirit was in them only after Jesus ascended to heaven.

So the next light.

So it transitioned from God with us, you know, if

God with us, to God in us. So that's why

you can see the disciples before Jesus went up to heaven. Right,

the disciples, many of them ran away. When Jesus was

taken to the cross, many of them denied him. And

even when he rose up from the dead, many of

them did not believe in him. Many of them did

not believe that he rose to the dead from the dead. Right,

Jesus was with them. But when we see in the

book of Acts, when revival happens, was when the Holy

Spirit came upon them and God lived in them. Okay,

so let's look at some verses.

Next line.

So this is from Acts chapter one.

So Acts chapter one.

This was forty days after Jesus rose from the dead.

Forty days after Jesus rose from the dead, he was

talking to the disciples, and this is what he told them.

He assembled them together. He assembled together with them. So

Jesus was together with the disciples. He command them not

to depart from Jerusalem. So I told them, the disciples,

make sure you stay in Jerusalem and wait for the

promise of the Father, which he said, you have heard

from me. For John truly baptized with water. But you

shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days

from now.

So that is verse five and verse eight.

You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come

upon you, and you shall be witnesses to me in

Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to.

The ends of the earth.

Okay, so this is Acts chapter one, verse eight, the

famous verse. So you think about it, right. All the

disciples they learn from Jesus. They heard all the sermons

that Jesus preached. They heard the Sermon on the Mound,

they heard the different parables. They saw Jesus raise the

dead to life. They saw Jesus heal the sick, heal

the blind. And they saw all this, but they still

did not have the power which Jesus says that the

Father will give to them. Okay, Jesus gave them authority

to cast out demons, to heal the sick.

You can see that in the gospel.

But the moment Jesus ascended to heaven, they were suddenly

felt that they were powerless, you know, and that's why

they were all waiting God. Jesus told them wait in Jerusalem.

And you see here right act the one verse eight,

it says you shall receive power. You know, this power

talks about dynamite, power, dynamite. You all know what's dynamite.

So the closest you have to dynamite is what you're

seeing when you're celebrating Chinese the year.

Fireworks.

Okay, so fireworks, right, you're going in, how many of

your plate fireworks?

Maybe you don't put up your hands.

Out some plate fireworks? You know, you know fireworks, right,

and you go to the shop, you go to the

stalls that are selling fireworks. There is a lot of

fireworks there, you know, so much of fireworks. And all

these fireworks, some of them have are very explosive, right,

they are very explosive.

But all these people who are selling it, they are

not afraid.

You know, although there is so much of explosive power there.

Why do you think they are not afraid of selling it?

Because it is not lit yet, right, it is just

in a box. It has all the material, it has everything,

it has all the potential, but unless you light it,

it will never realize its full potential. It will never explode.

So the disciples right when it came to discipleship, they

learned everything about Jesus, so they had every They had

all the hit knowledge, they had all the Hitte knowledge.

They know Jesus is Lord, they know Jesus rose from

the dead. They knew everything, and so did the Pharisees.

The Pharisees they knew everything. They've memorized the whole Old Testament,

they knew the laws, they knew everything. What they were

missing was the spark, was the power. So you can

have you can memorize the whole Bible, but unless you

have the power, when the Holy Spirit comes upon us,

we will not just explode, you know, and explode. This

way is in a good way, Okay, so think about it.

So let's see next verse. When the day of Pentecost

had fully come, they were all with one accord in

one place.

Okay, So think of it this way.

There were one hundred and twenty believers, one hundred and

twenty believers and then Jesus says that.

Don't leave Jerusalem. Don't leave Jerusalem.

Make sure you stay in Jerusalem until the power comes

upon you, the Holy Spirit comes upon you. So this

one hundred and twenty. Imagine they were believing in Jesus

and then they see Jesus go up to heaven. They'll

be oh, man, suddenly we are alone. You know, this

is the Messiah who is supposed to come and save us.

He has left us. But all of them still had

faith in Jesus. They still had faith in Jesus. They

still met together, and they were still in one accord.

They were all in one accord in the same place.

You know, as one accord, one accord means they were united.

They were all in unity. They all were. There was

no fighting. But you remember the twelve Disciples. When Jesus

was around, the twelve Disciples were always fighting who is

the greatest. Peter wanted to be James and John wanted

to be seated at the right and left hand.

You know, all the.

Disciples were always struggling for power. But the moment Jesus ascended,

all of them were connected and they were united. All right, Okay,

there's a sidetrack here, right, So what was the car

that the disciples used? What was the car that the

disciples used? It's a Honda Accord. Okay, it's a name joke,

but this is the only place in the Bible where

the car was mentioned. So now you'll remember, right, they

were all in one card. It must be a very

big car. One andy of them in one car. Okay.

But anyway, they were waiting. They were waiting for the

spirit next light.

What were they waiting for? They were waiting for the

power of the Holy Spirit. John baptized with water, but

just in a few days, they were you will be

baptized with the Holy Spirit. So they were waiting, and

they were waiting. Do you know the time from Jesus

ascended to heaven until the Pentecosts. The Pentecost is the

day when the Holy Spirit came down. How many days

was that?

Ten days? Correct? Well done, Jared ten days? It was

ten days.

So can you imagine Jesus ascended to heaven and these disciples,

one hundred and twenty of them, they continuously gathered every

day together, praying and seeking God in one accord. They

were seeking God and will. They were waiting and believing

some of us. We wait for one day, we wait

for one hour. We wait Jesus went up to heaven.

You're like, okay, what's happening. Next day you wake up,

nothing seems to be happening. They waited ten days and

they were continuously praying, Okay.

Next light.

So they were waiting. And most of the time when

waiting we think it is passive. But waiting they were

waiting and seeking God. So one hundred and twenty of them,

they were all together. They were in absolute unity, and

they were praying, and they were asking God, seeking God.

That's what supplication is, right. And they were waiting for

the promise of the Father because Jesus told them that

you will receive the Holy Spirit. You will receive the

Holy Spirit, and so they were waiting for the promise.

This is actually when the first revival of the Holy

Spirit broke out. And this is something that we can

learn because every time in the Bible we go back

to the law of first mention. If we want a revival,

we have to see how the revival broke out. In

the Book of Acts, they all gathered together.

They were all.

United in one mind. They were not uniform. Okay, don't

think about it this way. You're not uniform, but you

are united. Uniform means all of us must look the same,

must act the same, must be the same. The disciples

were not. They were united. That means they believed in

the same God. They had the same vision they wanted,

and they were believing God for his promise, and that's

why they were seeking God. And they continuously prayed. So

most of the time. Right when I was preparing this,

we're saying that this is the year of revival. Now,

I was thinking, how many times revival broke forth during

a concert? How many times revival broke forth during a conference?

How many times revival broke forth when there was a

band who was prayed, who was sold out playing worship.

Songs? Not many.

When you look at revival, right, all the times the

revival broke forth is during prayer meetings. Every time revival

broke forth, it was purely when people were coming together

and they were seeking God above all else. They were

seeking God for God. They were not seeking God for

their needs. Have you all heard about the Ashbury Revival.

So that's a revival that happened in US recently, I

think one two years ago. So that revival happened during

a prayer service. It happened they were in prayer service.

They didn't have the best bands, they didn't have anything.

It was just a Bible's college. And they started having

a prayer service. And what happened is the prayer service

didn't stop. It just continued on and on and on

and on, and suddenly the whole town everyone there was

a traffic gem going into the town because everyone wanted

to experience God. And that is very similar to what

happened in Acts two. Okay, let's see the next verse

x two. When the day of Pentecost had fully come,

they were all with one accord in one place, and

suddenly there was a sound from heaven as of a rushing,

mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they

were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues as

of fire, and one sat upon each of them, and

they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they

began to speak with tongues with other tongues as the.

Spirit gave them utterance. This is what happened.

Suddenly, when you pray and you're seeking God for God,

you're seeking God for God most of the time.

That's why I was saying this message.

It convicted me because I'm like, hey, when we pray,

we have a list of items that check place that

we want God to bless us. But the disciples were

seeking God for who he was, and they were seeking God.

They were seeking God for the Holy Spirit. And suddenly

the Holy Spirit came. And you know that this one

hundred and twenty, right, they were native people who stayed

in Jerusalem. That means that's their hometown. So highly likely

they didn't know any other language. Okay, how many languages

do you know?

Two? Three, three?

Some people know three, four, you know four, all right,

But you know that this one hundred and twenty, when

the Holy Spirit came upon them, they spoke so many

languages that you know that the time of Pentecost was

the time when the Jews from all around the world

came back to celebrate Pentecosts and they heard their own

language being spoken.

You know what was being spoken.

Each one of them were glorifying God and saying God,

how good God is in their own languages. And that's

when the Holy Spirit came upon them and there were

tongues of fire upon them. That was the manifestation of

the Holy Spirit. So what can we learn from this?

What can we learn from this? This was how the

revival broke forth in the First Church, the power of

the Holy Spirit. What can we learn from this next line?

If we want the Holy Spirit? There's a few things

that we can learn from this. First thing is that

God is sovereign. Means why did the Holy Spirit come

ten days after Jesus ascended? Because that's when he wants

to come. The Holy Spirit dictates when he wants to come.

He will come when he thinks you are ready. We

cannot force him to come whenever we want him to come.

I say, God, we want revival, and revival must only

happen on a Sunday service or revival must only happen

in our homes or prayer service. Revival comes when people

are ready and people are hungry.

So God is sovereign.

He comes as he wills, often defying our expectations. That's

why right we can plan for huge conferences, we can

plan for stadium events, we can plan for everything. But

if God does not feel that he is the number one,

he is the center there, he will not appear. You know,

he needs He will appear when the people are ready

and it defies our expectation of how revivals should look like.

So how does revival look like?

Because right now you can manu a lot of people

try and manufacture revivals. You know, you will have the lights,

you have the sounds, you have the best speaker, you

have everything, but you do not have the power. You

do not have the power. It's like a firework without

any fire. It's useless. A firework without any fire, right,

no matter how powerful it is, without that spark, it

cannot light up the world. So first thing is sovereign.

The second thing is community. You know that in most

of the revivals, it happened in communities. It happened in Asbury,

it happened in the community there. In China, China does

not look like a place where revival happens. They do

not have the conferences, they do not even have Bibles.

But revival happens there because there's a community of believers

that's saying God, we need you more than anything. And

that's how revival happened. There's a community that's saying God,

we need you above everything else. The community of believers

was one hundred and twenty. We have close to about

one hundred here, if all of us are in one

card and say God, we need you and we can

seek God, the Holy Spirit will see.

And he will appear.

Right and the next one is transformative, So revival comes,

there must be a change. So you look at their disciples.

From being people who were very scared, they were suddenly transformed.

Suddenly you look at them. Wow, Why how come this

pellet is so brave? How come he can speak so

many languages? How come he has so much authority? Everything

that they learned suddenly was ignited by fire the Holy Spirit.

So everything that they learned from the word of God

suddenly came to life, and Peter began to preach. So

the gift given as we deal with the flesh and experience,

are dying to self. That's when. That's why. Right, you

can say that, wow, revival has happened. Are you sure

revival has happened?

Have you changed? Have I changed?

We cannot say that revival has happened and we haven't changed.

Anything that fire touches changes. So if the fire of

the Holy Spirit has touched us, we should have changed.

If we haven't changed, then we might not have experienced.

A real revival.

Right. Next, So what the power of the Holy Spirit

is not. So we talked about the Holy Spirit the revival, right,

so what it is not. The common misconception is the

Spirit follows a human formula. You get the right sound,

you get the right speaker, you get the right venue,

you get everything formula, then you can get the Holy

Spirit to come. It is not a magic potion. The

Holy Spirit does not come. Is not a magic potion.

The Holy Spirit is God. He is God. He moves

like the wind, and he's unpredictable, and he is free.

God does as he wills. Second thing is we earn

the power by seeking. Just because we say that, hey God,

we want to seek you, then we earn the power.

It's not about earning the power, but it is a

promise that we receive.

We cannot earn it.

That's why you know the Sons of Skiva in the

Book of Acts, they saw the Disciples doing miracles. Because

the disciples are filled with the Holy Spirit, they say, hey,

I want that. So they decided to use the name

of Jesus in vain and the Holy Spirit what the

demons did not recognize them, and then strip them naked

and send them running away. So we earned the it

is we can't earn the power by seeking God. It

is a promise received by faith. Faith meaning that God

I believe in you come true and we seek God.

Right.

And the third point, revival is purely emotional hype. That

means just because sometimes right when it's very emotional, you

can start crying. You know, you watch Korean drama or

so you can cry on. You can feel touched, you

can feel moved. But revival is more than emotions. Revival

is a change of heart after watching a Korean drama?

Do you change? Not necessarily?

Okay, you might be more depressed, or you might you

might change your dressing to become more Korean.

But the heart, there's your heart. Change. Are you a

different person?

A real revival is a radical read dedication rooted in truth. Actually,

the main thing is looking at Peter. So let's look

at the next verse. So Acts chapter two. You know

Peter was the one that denied Jesus. Peter, it's quite funny.

In a one minute, he's very brave. When the soldiers

came to arrest Peter, what did he do? He took

the sword and cut off the year. They were saying

his aim was really bad. Lad maybe when they cut

the neck, but then he cut the year. The aim

was really bad. So at that time I'm very bold.

But then right he was probably very impulsive. The moment

it sat in that Jesus was caught, suddenly all his

impulsivity ran away and he became a coward. He denied

Jesus three times. He ran away and after the but

you see, after the Holy Spirit came upon him, after

the fire of the Holy Spirit, the power of the

Holy Spirit.

Came upon him.

Wen a split second, this was Peter, Peter standing up

with the eleven. He raised his voice. Last time, he

was trying to hide away. He's trying to cover and

say there's not want anything to do with Jesus. Right now,

he comes out in front of the whole crowd. He

stands up and he raises his voice. He's like, look

at me, I've got something to say. You got such

a spear of boldness that only can happen through revival,

That change from feeling fear to full of faith can

only come true revival. And he says, men of Judea

and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known

to you, and heed my words, men of Israel, Verse

twenty two, hear these words, Jesus of Nazareth, a man

attested by God to your miracles and wonders and science,

which God did through him in your midst as you

yourself also know him, being delivered by the determined purpose

and fond knowledge of God. You have taken by your

lawless hands, have crucified and put to death whom God

raised up, and lose the pains of death, because it

is not possible that he should be held by it.

So to paraphrase this right, Peter stood up and he

told everyone, guys.

This is Jesus. You know who he is. He did miracles,

he raised the death.

You saw what he has done. But you went and

put him to death. You know how much courage it

takes to do that, because the same people that put

Jesus to death can put him to death. But he

stood up boldly and said, you are the ones that

put him to death. And Church, it's not just the

Israelites that put him to death. Our sins, both your

sins and my sins are also the one sins that

put Jesus on the cross. So he is telling everyone, guys,

this Jesus, our sins put him on the cross. But

God raised him up from the dead. All right, next

light and Peter went on to preach in summary right,

he shared the message of the cross that all have

sinned and falls shot of the glory of God, and

we need to believe in Jesus. So the message of

the cross was that God raised up these Jesus. He

poured out this which you now see and hear. Let

all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has

made these Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.

Christ is our savior. So all right, can you imagine this?

This is a new message, This is a new message

that most of them have never heard before.

How do you think they will respond?

If you were there, how do you think you would

respond that somebody is a preacher, Peter is talking to

you and says that, hey, your sin has put Jesus

on the cross and the only way that we will

have eternal life right now is to believe in Jesus.

How would you respond? Some of us will think that

are you sure or not? But do you know that

the first sermon that Peter preached, how many people were safe?

Three thousand, three thousand people, and that can only be

because of the power of the Holy Spirit. It was

not because Peter was very eloquent. It is not because

Peter was a disciple. It was because of the power

of the Holy Spirit that drew all men to him.

So what can we learn from Peter next? So when

the Holy Spirit comes upon us, right, there's a transformation

of Peter from denial to boldness. He was spontaneous, yet prepared.

So do you know how many of us have grown

up in Bible school, Bible school, Sunday school. You've grown

up in Sunday school, You've been in chess for a

long time.

Do you know.

That the Holy Spirit can use what you have learned

in Sunday school to preach the gospel? Because it seems

that Peter was spontaneous, but actually everything that he has learned,

the Holy Spirit used what he has learned to come

up with that sermon to glorify God. So that's why

we need to continuously equip ourself, continuously read the Word

of God.

Then the Holy Spirit, you know, we need to start.

It's like whatever we are learning right from God and

the Bible is like firewood. When the Holy Spirit comes

and sets the flame, we need to have enough firewood.

If not, we will burn out, you know.

So we continuously need to equip ourselves with God and

his word, and then He can use us for his glory.

And Peter was led by the spirit's power. So Peter

didn't prepare a sermon that morning. His life was with Jesus.

Was the preparation. Same for us, Revival is just igniting

our life that we have prepared with Jesus. Whatever Jesus

has done in our life, when revival comes, he will

then ignite it in fire, and then there will be

a change. That's what That's what brings forth transformation. So

what happened after Peter preached next line? So what shall

we do? You see, a lot of us are very

scared to preach the gospel. First of all, we are

scared to preach the gospel because we do not have

the We do not have the fresh fire of the

Holy Spirit. That's why I say I was convicted as like, Wow,

if I really have the fresh fire of the Holy Spirit,

I will be so bold, I'll be so courageous. And

Peter was not afraid of denial. He denied Jesus, but

right now he was not scared of being denied scared

of being the people rebuking him instead. When he preached

that sermon, what did the people do? The people asked,

what shall we do? They were cut to their heart.

They were convicted, and only the Holy Spirit can convict hearts.

It's not my words that can convict hearts. It's not

your words, it's not Peter's words. It's only a holy

spirit that can convict heart. So Peter told them turn

to repent, turn from their sins, to baptize, publicly, acknowledge,

identify Jesus for the remission of sin. So remission of

sin meaning that Jesus will take away the price of sin,

which is death, and only Jesus can pay that price

and then accept the gift of the Holy Spirit. And

as a result of that, next night, this is the

first harvest, this is the first revival of the Holy Spirit.

We want to measure, we should measure against this one sermon,

three thousand souls were saved, and there was fellowship. They

not only were saved on Sunday, fellowship is Monday till Saturday.

They were doing life together. Suddenly there was no need.

There was nobody who was poor anymore, because everyone off

took care of each other. The poor were taken care of,

the hungry were taken care of, the widows were taken

care of. That's what fellowship is, because the Holy Spirit

is the one that can change hearts.

It's the same people, the three thousand people.

One day before the Revival, they had the same resources,

but after the Revival, the transformation caused them to meet

everybody's needs and draw all men unto them. And because

of that right, there were so many signs and wonders,

There were so many miracles and testimonies. So this is

what revival is. If this is what revival is, are

we ready for it? Are we ready for it? Do

we want the power of the Holy Spirit? Because the

power of the Holy Spirit will change your life? Are

you happy with who you are right now? Because it's

be uncomfortable, you know. It will force you to suddenly,

cause you to rise up and declare that Jesus Christ

is Lord. It will force you to pray for people

who are sick and they get healed. It will force

you to open your eyes and see those who have

need and help those. And the Holy Spirit is again

not mocked. He will come when we are ready. So

even as I draw towards its close. Next night, I

wanted to share how many of y'all have heard about

the Barrial Revival. So the Barrial Revival. Barrio is a

place in Saba is a village in Sabah. So a

bit of history, right. The villagers, all these villagers, they

were actually head hunters, not hint hunters they find job

for you, heat hunters, as they really go and look

for your head. They were head hunters. They will go

so to become to show how powerful you are. The

more skulls you have at the outside your house, the

more powerful you are. So they were actually really violent people,

you know. But in the early nineteen hundreds Australian missionaries

came and preached the gospel, and soon all the villagers

there all became Christians.

They accepted Jesus.

But in nineteen seventy three there was a group of students,

I think they were around fourteen or fifteen years old,

together with their teacher. So the teacher was head of

the Christian fellowship in that school, the village school, and

the teacher was suddenly had such an urge within him

to confess to his students that hey, I am not

worthy to continue this Christian Fellowship because I get drunk,

because I have so many hidden sin. And he says that, hey,

I have to step down. And as he started confessing

his sin, one by one, all the students started confessing

their sins, and they started repenting before God, and they

started crying before God. And slowly, more and more started repenting.

And there was such a move of the Holy Spirit

that soon the whole village everyone was confessing to each other.

You know, this whole village, all of them were into

they were alcoholics, they were into rice, wine, liquor, and

there was so much of adultery. There was murder, there

was fhnication, there's so many things.

But the Holy Spirit just came upon this.

Village and one by one, each of them started confessing

to each other their sins. And suddenly everyone started forgiving

each other. And the courts were empty, you know, there

were so many court cases going on. Suddenly everyone decided

to drop. They said, hey, we forgive each other. And

all these students, right the students that were first revived,

they said that, hey, we have to spread the gospel.

So they went they divided themselves into fifteen groups, and

they went into the interior to preach the gospel to

the different villages. And when they preached, when they went,

you know, it's pitched black in the middle of the night.

Suddenly there were fireballs in the sky. There was so

many miracles. Their pathway was lit and they were protected.

And soon there was another revival that was called the

bak Lalan Revival. It was the next village and more

and more people started experiencing God. And you know, right

these students that first experienced the revival, although they preached,

they went out to preach the gospel up till today,

they have scored the highest academic results in their school.

And all the farms in barrio in Baklalan, all their

fields were right with harvest. God healed their land. God

provided for their needs. And they such a move of God.

And that happened here in Malaysia. That was close to

fifty years ago, you know.

And right now there is a there is a move

in is Malaysia for revival.

And here right now in kl we have the most

equipped churches. We have the best speakers, we have the

best music, but do we have the Holy Spirit? Because

if not, we are just putting on a performance. Because

we need revival. And man, even as I get the

band up, we need the touch of the Holy Spirit.

So even as I draw towards the close right, I

started with the question what is revival?

What is revival?

So this is a definition that a working definition that

I mean, I am using right now, and is this

next revival is the release of the Holy Spirit where

his people remember the power of the resurrection, leading to

a radical rededication of their lives to him.

This is what revival is.

A revival is when the Holy Spirit shows up, convicts

our hearts, causes us to remember that what Jesus has

done for us, causes us to say, God, I forgive me,

forgive me.

For all my sins. I only repent before you.

Less of me, more of you. You know, sometimes revival

doesn't happen because we think, actually, we are not so bad. Actually,

if you compare, if I compare my sins with other people,

it's small. And because of that we think we need

less of God because we are not as bad as sinner.

But revival is that all of us have seen. It

causes us to remember that Jesus, all of us have seinned,

all of us have fallen shot of your glory. All

of us need you, and Holy Spirit, we need a

new fire from you this morning. So Church, I have

come to the end of a sermon right now, Holy Spirit,

we need you to move by my eloquence. It's not

by my slides, since not by what I've said. But Lord,

we need you. We need you because only you are

the fire that can ignite us, that can change our lives,

that can bring us closer to You, that can we

draw all men to You, that can meet the needs

of the world, that have signs and wonders. Their lives

will be changed. So let's arise even as we just

seek the Holy Spring and ask him to do a

new work in our lives.
