  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. The title of message today is a surrendered Heart, okay.

  4. And of course we just came out of Uton, right,

  5. so we can turn to Isaiah fifty eight. We just

  6. came out of Uturn, and I kind of did a

  7. study on Isaiah fifty eight. And although we finish Uton,

  8. and we will finish the first thing in a way,

  9. I mean, you can stay fast if you want to.

  10. I thought what God gave me in terms of message

  11. was quite relevant that I think you know, can even

  12. share it now. You know, you'll know what our team

  13. this year is revival, right, Okay? Revival, And I'm sure

  14. you're learning about it. We learn in homes about not

  15. hearing from God. You know, how many will you hear

  16. from God? How many of you here have heard from

  17. God before? Just say, if your ends God, you think

  18. you've heard from God, even if you think it's finer.

  19. I think I think I'm not sure God right, God right,

  20. at least I see some I'm not sure.

  21. Some God La right? Got la? Definitely?

  22. One thing you know, Lord, I heard that you say,

  23. I you marry this girl? Okay, maybe some of you

  24. guys hear from God, you know anyway.

  25. We can joke right in churish.

  26. Yeah, so it's good to hear from God, and it's

  27. good to understand his word. Let me just read Isaiah

  28. fifty eight. Okay, it says here, cry aloud, spare not

  29. lift up your voice like a trumpet. Tell my people

  30. their transgressions. You know what it means. Transgressions means all

  31. the bad stuff you did. Okay, tell them their transgressions,

  32. and the House of Jacob their sins.

  33. Right.

  34. Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways.

  35. As a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake

  36. the ordinance of their God. They ask of me the

  37. ordinances of justice.

  38. They take the light. In approaching God sounds correct, not right.

  39. First you say, hey, tell all the people what they're

  40. doing wrong. And then after that it says, hey, and

  41. they are doing the right thing.

  42. Ma.

  43. You know, they come to church, they dress up, they

  44. say amen, you know, they look the part right. But

  45. then God continues inverse tree saying why have we faster?

  46. They say, and you have not seen Oh okay, that's interesting.

  47. Why have we afflicted our souls? And you have you

  48. take not notice. In fact, in the day of your

  49. fast you find pleasure and exploit all labors. Who who's

  50. going deeper? Now, he's going a little bit deeper. Now

  51. let's read on. Now, indeed you fast for strife and debate,

  52. and to strike with the fast of weakness. You will

  53. not fast as you do this day to make your

  54. voice hurt on high. Mmkay, let's pause you a moment

  55. so interesting context. Let's you're okay, do be a Bible study?

  56. Can I hope you you'll be blessed as we do

  57. the Bible study. So it started, we say, hey, tell

  58. the people they are doing wrong, okay, and then uh,

  59. then after that do wrong lima.

  60. Then in condenies we say, how for you love right? Ah?

  61. Better, you know, be remuseful and repent for your since

  62. and then they're doing the right thing, they say. Then

  63. they seek him daily, do quiet time. Then they like

  64. know in his ways as a nation that did righteousness

  65. and did not forsake the audience of God. They asked

  66. me the ordinesses of God. Right, But then it goes

  67. to say why have you fastered?

  68. So they did the right.

  69. Things, but somehow the result didn't come out. Somehow although

  70. they did all the correct things, not I guess, not

  71. correct because it didn't it didn't garner what they.

  72. Expected, right.

  73. How many of you have been there before you You

  74. did all the right things, but somehow, just somehow, it's

  75. not coming out the way you hope for. In fact,

  76. you feel like you've been I don't know, wronged even more,

  77. or you feel like God.

  78. Didn't hear you, never listen to you.

  79. You feel you feel like you're in a place where like, hey,

  80. I pray so hard, I fast so much steel nothing God.

  81. You real or not.

  82. Then you're shaken a little bit ready, like not sure,

  83. a little bit ready okay, And in fact God talks

  84. about what he talks about the condition of their heart

  85. because he said, in fact, in the day of your fast,

  86. you find pleasure and exploit all your laborers. Indeed you

  87. fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the

  88. face of weakness. You will not fast as you do

  89. this day to make your voice hurt on high. This

  90. tells me that you can actually do the right thing

  91. with the wrong intentions. You can actually do the right thing,

  92. but your heart is not there one right and God

  93. is more interested in what in the action or in

  94. the heart. In the heart, he wants the heart change.

  95. He is looking out for you. He doesn't really care

  96. about the en reason can can I be honest?

  97. You?

  98. God cares more about the condition of your heart more

  99. than the condition of your blank. He cares about the

  100. condition or your heart more than the condition of your bank.

  101. He cares about the condition heard more than the condition

  102. because you see, all these other things are he can

  103. settle like that or no.

  104. But what is the one thing that very hard to settle?

  105. Our hearts?

  106. Corno metters of the heart? Right, we get discouraged to

  107. get metals?

  108. How ready we go? Right? We all know that, you know,

  109. we all know that.

  110. Okay, So the people fasted as an act. They were

  111. just acting like right, they were just acting. I pray

  112. none of us here are just acting, you know. I

  113. know that's a famous saying, ficked that we make it.

  114. I don't think it applies to your faith. Right, your

  115. faith is not faked to make it. Your faith is

  116. have faith and believe and help my unbelief, you know,

  117. and God will help you.

  118. You know. See they suffered, and they say they actually suffered. No,

  119. they sacrifice.

  120. If you study the Bible about fasting, you will know

  121. that first thing is a very serious thing that they do, right, like,

  122. of course we fast, not as quad young as.

  123. Them, not as drama as them.

  124. Drama whet may they fast because they fast for a

  125. few reasons. They fast to repent, They fast to mourn,

  126. very specific and you know what they do. They will

  127. wear sack cloth change by joke, right, so you will

  128. know that they're fasting one They will wear seck cloth,

  129. and they will throw acious okay, throw ashes right dirty

  130. throw ashes. Wearsid cloth and they will not eat difficult

  131. formulations to do. We just fast one meal? Do Daniel fast?

  132. So anybody Dan you hey.

  133. You.

  134. Imagine, I just imagine one day I'm gonna do there fast.

  135. I'm gonna know to see you for thirty one days.

  136. I don't know people like that, right, cop out. So

  137. it's a very dramatic thing. It's a very serious thing

  138. that they fast, and they normally fast to turn God's heart,

  139. that's what they they do. So they actually suffered, but

  140. there was no surrender heart outside all changed everything, all change.

  141. I suffer. How mean you feel the way I suffer? Right?

  142. I surf? I wake up earlier. I suffer?

  143. But why God you know what, friends, God is not transactional.

  144. You're like the cow of relationship, right, all in that

  145. relationship you need to be transactional. Right, No, God is

  146. not trying section. Your business relationship is transactional. Your work

  147. is transactional. I give you pay than you even that.

  148. Sometimes so people see not happy, right, pay a lot

  149. of money, then work hard. They're not happy, especially certain

  150. generation right always tell about this. I say, hey, you

  151. know what, it's great that you're getting a good job

  152. that's paying you a lot. But they do you know

  153. that their money means it's your time and effort. It's

  154. a translation of that. No, there's no such thing as

  155. free lunch or no friends.

  156. Right.

  157. So see, they did it for the sake of doing it.

  158. Yet their hearts, well what God saw it was true.

  159. And for God saw their hearts, he didn't look at

  160. the outside. He looked at the insight and say, hey,

  161. you're complaining right. Let me tell you why what have

  162. you been doing?

  163. Right? And complaining right? Right? And and and and and

  164. what was he looking for? Okay, let let's let's read

  165. on now. Is it is it.

  166. A fast that I have chosen for a day for

  167. a man to afflict his soul. Is it to bow

  168. down his head like a bulrush, and to spread out

  169. sack cloth and ashes? Would you call this a fast

  170. as an acceptable day of the Lord?

  171. Well?

  172. When God say and accept, do you think I accept

  173. this faster? Do you think I accept this.

  174. Right? Do you think I accept this very strong? No?

  175. Imagina you You work so hard, you sacrifice your time,

  176. and then God rejected what I will feel it man like, Hey,

  177. I give so much offering it, e ich it, but

  178. you can reject it or painful?

  179. Painful? Right? No, God says, is this not the fast?

  180. I've chosen to lose the bonds of wakenness, to undo

  181. the heavy burdens, to let the oppress go free, and

  182. that you break every yelk? Is it not to share

  183. your break with the hungry? And that you bring to

  184. your house the work who are cast out? When you

  185. see the naked, that you cover him and not hide

  186. yourself from your own flesh. Then your light shall break

  187. forth like the morning you're healing, shall spring forth speedily,

  188. and your righteousness shall go before you. The glory of

  189. the Lord shall be your regard. What is God looking for?

  190. He is looking for heart, surrender to him that is

  191. what God is looking for. Right, That's why you'll know

  192. how to receive crisis, your personal law and savior.

  193. How anyway you want to try? What the steps? Every week?

  194. You hear this in chesh huh ABC, Right, admit that

  195. you need Jesus, believe that he died for in seas

  196. and call me your life to isn't it surrender? Isn't

  197. it surrender? We are reminded of that every week. Surrender

  198. to the Lord. Strender to the Lord. Right, Okay, let's

  199. think about what is a strender heart. Let's think a

  200. little bit. What does it mean a surrender heart?

  201. Okay?

  202. What does it mean to surrender to someone? Okay, let's

  203. try and understand you a little bit. Let me think,

  204. let me think.

  205. Okay, maybe maybe just something that.

  206. Okay, if you are I guess, if you are still single,

  207. no love interest, or still young, then you might not

  208. fully understand this part. Let's just use the example of

  209. like a married couple. Don't you think that the husband

  210. surrendered to the wife?

  211. You're not sure?

  212. Don't you think that the wife also surrendered to the husband.

  213. I give you some examples. Are of course, we say

  214. the vowels right, right, then you still remember your vows. Okay,

  215. there's some key things. Remember are right in sickness and

  216. in health, for richer or poorer, some say for richer

  217. or richer, for richer or poorer. Right till death do

  218. us part? Right A commreself to it. This is my

  219. solemn vowel. You're surrendering your life to to your sponsor. Okay,

  220. what does that mean? Well, that means that you are

  221. tied together lout.

  222. Okay.

  223. The joke that I don't really like is that they

  224. say that the ring is the smallest cuffling, cuffling, the smallest.

  225. What's the word handcuff in the world? Right.

  226. They also say that the ring symbolizes suffering. Right that

  227. I don't like these jokes because I'm having such a

  228. great time in my wedding, so I cannot relate at all,

  229. you know, all every time someone do sharing and those

  230. old school pasta okay working o school past as old

  231. school you know, joke about like marriage, it's like, you know,

  232. I'm like, dude, can you please not share the cow

  233. word in wedding?

  234. You know? So? You know, Okay, I give you an example.

  235. We joke about it, la when you married, when you're

  236. singler and then your friends. Let's say you go Macca

  237. and Mama and then your friends, Hey, let's go hang out?

  238. Right easy for you to say, can let's go? You know,

  239. even if your girlfriend you're like, yeah, let's go. You

  240. can decide your your own man, min can decidem. But

  241. after you're married, you have to ask for permission. Right, Okay, okay.

  242. Very loud. I heard that.

  243. Let me rephrase that. Let me pray that it's not

  244. it's not a skin for permission. It's because you are

  245. surrendered to the other person. Really, do you remember your vow? Well,

  246. you're getting a lot of response. Yeah, yeah, No, I

  247. know it's a joke, you know, because you're like, hey,

  248. I am committed to this person. You mean, if you're committed,

  249. then you just do whatever you want to know, you

  250. have to check, you have to there could be logistical

  251. issues you you know, you it's not a permission issue, no, right,

  252. it is.

  253. Uh, you are ready surrendered to the person. Isn't that

  254. what you should be doing?

  255. I mean I'll be very worried if a husband said, yeah, whatever,

  256. you know, I don't care, you know, then they're like, oh,

  257. you're very worried for your marriage.

  258. Is it really a marriageer? Right?

  259. Do you know that likewise is the same for the

  260. girl as well for the wife as well? It's surrendered together, ma.

  261. Right.

  262. Okay, so that's one example of surrender. Okay, let me

  263. give another one another example, because a lot of you

  264. hear young adults. Okay, when you sign the appointment letter,

  265. don't you think you have surrendered your life to the company?

  266. Show me anopus selling? Yeah, you sign war? No?

  267. No, I didn't surrender. Yeah, but nine to five you

  268. have to clock in war if you let then how

  269. don't you think you willingly sign the letter equal exchange

  270. my transactional?

  271. Ma? But you surrender, Ma? You surrender your nine to

  272. five to the company. But ry not? Okay?

  273. For some of you, you might have also surrendered your

  274. life to your family. Family first family, first, bloody sticker

  275. and water? Right, So you were surrendering. Am I saying

  276. all these things are wrong? And no, I'm not saying

  277. all these things wrong. I want us to have an

  278. understanding of what strender means. Right, So you could strender

  279. your life to your family?

  280. Okay?

  281. For different ones here, and we've also seen it. I

  282. have kids, so I can also say it. Some people

  283. actually surrender their life.

  284. To their kids.

  285. Suddenly, yeah, suddenly, suddenly suddenly can I do a lot

  286. of things?

  287. Now?

  288. Cannot eat? Is cost my kid only? It is cannot

  289. go this time cause my kids have to sleep with us. See,

  290. am I saying all this thing around? I'm not saying.

  291. But have we surrendered our life to it? That is

  292. a question because there's a difference or not. There's the

  293. difference with doing certain things. And surrender means no choice,

  294. a ready right, no other choice.

  295. Ready, you are surrendered.

  296. Some people surrender themselves to the situation, right, surrendered to

  297. the situation.

  298. What does that mean?

  299. Actually, as I counseled people, and as I realized that

  300. a lot of persons and I said myself, also, we

  301. have this problem that when we experience something, or when

  302. we do something in our lives and something changes and

  303. we feel powerless, we feel like we cannot do anything,

  304. but in actual fact, you can actually do something about it.

  305. Let's say, for example, your job suddenly your job not

  306. so good for different reasons, okay, change your management or whatever,

  307. and then you're like, oh, I'm stamp strended, okay.

  308. Or people who are stressed out with their job.

  309. Maybe maybe suddenly they have a horrible boss, or maybe

  310. suddenly the boss very nice and then became not so nice,

  311. you know, and then and then people live under that circumstance. Okay, right,

  312. I've I've talked too many people. They're in that boat,

  313. and I will tell thembs. I said, you know, all

  314. the stress that you're having, all the stress that you're having,

  315. are do you know that after you tender your resignation,

  316. it's not your problem anymore?

  317. So you feel like doing it today? After you tend

  318. it on your problem? You mama, you mean you see

  319. your problem? No, huh know your company?

  320. What I mean, if it's your company, then too bad, Lie,

  321. it's your problem now you I tend the resignation myself,

  322. and I accept the resignation again.

  323. I mean, right, you actually have a choice. Think about it.

  324. In life, you actually have a choice. Right. But we

  325. surrendered to the situation. We surrendered to the circumstance.

  326. Oh, it's like that, is that there is a creation

  327. of this narrative that I don't know. Sometimes, no, sometimes

  328. the narrative can be true. It could even be true.

  329. But let me tell you another thing that's true. Isn't

  330. God in control, but everything.

  331. That's true. That's true as well.

  332. Oh, you know, the patrol and the diesel and whatever.

  333. Blank feeling the blanks. Friends, we've heard the news since COVID,

  334. since before COVID, since why two K.

  335. You don't remember why two K? And why two K?

  336. Twenty six years ago?

  337. I remember very clearly we were all waiting at home,

  338. waiting for the world to end because of White two K.

  339. I got a computer, I was looking at the screen

  340. and then it just hit midnight and then it was

  341. like nothing exploded, right.

  342. Nothing explored.

  343. That was That's a letdown, you know, right, We all thought,

  344. you know, the commune is gonna crash it.

  345. No, but then now now it's different, not a I.

  346. It's gonna take all the world yeast as why do

  347. get back?

  348. Now?

  349. Say what else? A friends?

  350. Will always be something like, But have we surrendered ourselves

  351. to the situation? Got to think about it, Gotta think

  352. a little bit about it, so we actually understand what

  353. strender is? We actually do do Do you also know

  354. that surrender is a willing thing. Nobody can take your strender? No,

  355. you can give your strender.

  356. No.

  357. Right, people don want strender, they do want strengder. No, right,

  358. people there are people who don't st until they that happens.

  359. But strender is a willing thing. We give it, We

  360. give our will when we strender. So, friends, since we

  361. understand what strender is, and I just gave some example

  362. of strender, right, why not strender to God? Why not

  363. that strender to God? First, I'm not saying don't strender

  364. to other things. Guys, if you're married, don't come and

  365. use this says srender to God. So don't you said okay?

  366. Don't you said, okay, you're married under God. Yes, your

  367. wife is not your God, but God requires you to

  368. still take care of your wife and husband.

  369. But surrender, surrender to God.

  370. We also share in marriage counseling and acts that God

  371. is the third.

  372. Court in your marriage.

  373. Right, it is still strendered to God when you when

  374. you get married, people do the wedding.

  375. You know, Yes, a lot of people talk about rom

  376. and all.

  377. But as Christians, we should recognize the vowels taken unto God.

  378. That's the important part. No, it's not just a ceremony

  379. of friends.

  380. The meaning of the vowel is very important now, and

  381. I say a lot of our you know, recently, I

  382. had a collecque. I want to say, who also shared

  383. It's like, wow, very nice right on Vova. But he's

  384. like man one or two things I cannot fulfill. Why

  385. did I even vow that? Because it's vow un to God? Know,

  386. and the Bible says, don't see me take vowels. We

  387. treated so flippantly bad, that's meaning. Right, So strender to God? Friends,

  388. Why not surrender to God and trust him?

  389. Why not consider that? Right? Why strender to other things? No,

  390. strender to God.

  391. You're concerned about your kids, surrender your child to the

  392. Lord God with the care of your kids. I am very,

  393. very thankful that God has taken care of my kids.

  394. Right. I got no control, right, but God has.

  395. And when God takes care of it, it is above

  396. and beyond what you can ever imagine.

  397. Serious a lot of things.

  398. I know for me, it's maybe no choice, no full

  399. time worker, No, I got a choice.

  400. Just don't be full time with color. Yeah, that's the choice.

  401. That right. They were like God asked it and like

  402. how you know? But yeah, that's thing.

  403. Think about it. Think about it. What is the all

  404. the the thief? That's another thing that always challenge people.

  405. Now you either we shant you rather strender to strender

  406. to your family or strender to God? Thinking about it,

  407. strender to the circumstances of strender. Look, God your your decider.

  408. We shouldn't you think will benefit your more? Strender to

  409. the market or strender to God. Got to decide because

  410. when you strengder to God, then you have to follow

  411. what he say, you know, and a lot of times

  412. what he says also not easy, right, because when you're

  413. in need, God say give huh, but I'm in need

  414. or I should keep more?

  415. Right?

  416. No gif gif Luke chapter six vers today gif right,

  417. what did you say?

  418. Let me?

  419. Let me turn to that one of my favorite verses.

  420. Okay just came, just came on it Luke chapter six,

  421. verse he says, give and they were given to you

  422. good measure pressed down, chicken together and running over be

  423. put into your bosom, for with the same measure that

  424. you use, it will be measure back to you.

  425. I learned this lesson a long time ago when I

  426. was a young adult. Right, oh, you know, growing.

  427. So whole hold we hold, we hold, we foll with

  428. all tides before because I know enough of God, I

  429. know enough. But I tell you the moment I started

  430. practicing tidying suddenly enough don't make sense on how I got.

  431. There was one man I remember clearly, Oh I coplate

  432. so much, you know, and I'm like, definitely not enough

  433. this one definitely have to either no choice, have to

  434. really and far more fun.

  435. You're not that it is right? Right?

  436. I even planner iven't planner. There was once ather week

  437. I went, planner, Okay, I have this amount of money

  438. I can buy how many MEGIMMI because maybe a cheap month,

  439. thank god?

  440. Maybe? And then in morning that time was people out.

  441. Now it's not cheap now, it's during that time was

  442. like wondering gate okay, every day, firing gate every day,

  443. one in another one ring gate, cocklate nor complate.

  444. Right, but give ties to it.

  445. Friends, I didn't eat one that day and I didn't

  446. have a lot of begimes and I survived and I

  447. was very fat, well fed that week.

  448. Ask me how.

  449. I also don't know the Lord provided? So who you

  450. want to trust more? It is a supernatural thing. Friends,

  451. you explain to me, you conculate. I also don't know

  452. to explain to you. All I can say is when

  453. you give tides, you will provide. But when you don't.

  454. There was one man another man I learned testing not testing.

  455. One man give, one man don't give right the one

  456. man don't give. Got more money, but actually don't know.

  457. I suddenly got less money because a lot of thing

  458. happened a month, and I'm like, what's so interesting? This

  459. whole tiding thing is so interesting. So I will always

  460. encourage you able to tithe. You don't have enough tithe,

  461. Then you'll see it happen. Then you have the testimony.

  462. God has never shot changed anybody, right, So strender to God,

  463. okay and trust him.

  464. Let's read on. Okay.

  465. It says, yeah, okay, is it not to share your

  466. break with the hungry and to bring your house the

  467. poor who are cast out? When you see the naked,

  468. that you cover him and not tight yourself from your flesh.

  469. Then you're light shall break forth like the morning you're healing,

  470. shall spring forths redly fans sound, You're not way better.

  471. Claim this, and your righteousness shall go before you. The

  472. glory of the Lord shall be your regard. Then you

  473. shall call and the Lord will answer. You shall cry

  474. and he will say, here I am. If you take

  475. away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the

  476. finger and the speaking of wakeness. If you extend your

  477. soul to the hungry and satisfy the flicktor's soul, then

  478. your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness

  479. shall be like noonday.

  480. Okay, So when you read is fifty.

  481. It tells us that the fast that God has chosen,

  482. it's not the fast that we should like. Sorry, it's

  483. not the fast that you know, not the fast about ourselves.

  484. Because you look at the first it's all it's all

  485. best selfishon right. But it is a fast that we

  486. align to God's heart and character. When you read that,

  487. don't you think that God is always about other people.

  488. He's always thinking about others. He's always thinking about us,

  489. not self for others. What are the two greatest commandments?

  490. Very important?

  491. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul,

  492. mind and strength. Right.

  493. What's the second one? Love yourself self care? No second

  494. one is love your neighbor as yourself. Love your neighbor

  495. first as yourself. Don't because God knows that we know

  496. how to love ourselves, so he don't you teach us that.

  497. But you want a life of fulfillment, do these two

  498. things and you'll be fulfilled. Then you will have love

  499. for yourself. He gave you a secret. But are we

  500. doing it? Are we doing it? That's the question, right,

  501. not self, but others. God always wants to meet the

  502. needs of his children. Right, and when the heart is

  503. surrendered to the Lord, what happens? There is a transformation

  504. that happens, friends, And the transformation is that our heart

  505. will start displaying God's character and desires.

  506. That is a transformation. Surrendering.

  507. Surrendering our heart to the Lord now will not make

  508. a small selfish know in fact, he will do the opposite.

  509. It will make us less selfish because we share the

  510. heart of the Father. That is strender, That is strender right.

  511. And there are many promises. If you read on the

  512. scriptures we read until verse eleven.

  513. I'll finish it later.

  514. There are many scriptures that of God's promises that what

  515. will happen after we strender an aligned to him? Because

  516. it is a strendered heart that he's looking for today.

  517. He's looking for strender hearts. Have we surrendered our heart

  518. to other things? Or are we continuously surrendering our heart

  519. to the Lord. Last week when we had homes, my homies,

  520. we asked that you know the question of which of

  521. these ground are you in this season? A lot of

  522. them said, I'm in tony ground, and that was very true.

  523. You know, I used to understand good guy. It's like, oh,

  524. you can be Google all the time. But actually, if

  525. you think about it, sometimes we are all in twenty

  526. ground because the cares of the world chocks the word.

  527. Right.

  528. You might be listening to this and go amen, amen,

  529. but then you might go to your car and then

  530. you get a texta and then you will chalk the word.

  531. Even though the word it's true, it will chock it

  532. out because suddenly got more important thing to more important

  533. thing to think about. And we can be in tony ground,

  534. but we have to choose to be in good ground.

  535. And sometimes you gotta fight to be in good ground.

  536. Say hey, I get this, but I remember again Matthew

  537. sixty three sicky for secure out God and all share

  538. added on to you. It is a choice that we

  539. have to take. So the strendering process is a continuous process,

  540. right your cash that it is a continuous process.

  541. It's not a one and done thing.

  542. You know, we are continuously perfected in our faith day

  543. and day. Every day have to make decisions every day.

  544. Have to make decisions every day, have the right, make

  545. the right decision right? How many are you here in

  546. a health journey health journey just wave health journey meaning running,

  547. lah bouldering La Charles, I see health journey. Okay, let

  548. me ask those in health journey whanna. Every week have

  549. to decide, right, whether you want to go to the

  550. gym or not?

  551. Right? Does it get easier? No?

  552. Right, no, right, it's easy, it's easy. Say it's easier, liars,

  553. don't no, no, no, no, no, you're right, it does

  554. get easier, but you still have to make the decision. Okay,

  555. be honest. Are are there days where you are lazy

  556. and you skip and are got right? And then sunny

  557. you feel not so healthy and then you're more on fire?

  558. To do it correct? Every day? Have to decide I

  559. want to do quite that every day? Have to decide.

  560. Of course, if you develop a habit, it becomes easier

  561. with the habit, but you have to decide right, unless

  562. you don't give yourself choicer like how some of the

  563. leaders here, I'm sure all those at are extreme. You

  564. have no choice because you have surrendered, Corona, you have surrendered.

  565. But if you have not surrendered, you always have a

  566. choice if you if not fully surrendered, you will always

  567. have a choice, right, And you just need to be

  568. very careful that it doesn't become like the ground in

  569. the pathway where the devil will come and steal the word.

  570. Away from your life.

  571. Not to say no where God, no, but then the

  572. devil come and steal it away because no full surrender yet.

  573. So it is a daily decision. Friends.

  574. Let's talk a little bit about the promises, okay, encourage

  575. you a little bit. So if fifty eight it says,

  576. then your light shall break forth like morning, your healing

  577. shall spring forth, your righteousness shall go before you, and

  578. the glory of the Lord shall be your regger. I

  579. kind of like this the thing about uh the you know,

  580. it's red pot take those we like literary or rep

  581. pot you take. But let me give you this perspective. Right,

  582. it just means that you will be fulfilled and all

  583. your needs to be met.

  584. Just that hah. You mean if I surrendered to God,

  585. all my knees we met? Yep? Is it the simple yep?

  586. But the stander part not easier co strender but not easy, right,

  587. And and the other thing that I like about. This

  588. is the last line he says, The glory of the

  589. Lord shall be your real God.

  590. You know what I mean.

  591. You're not a real God means a real God means

  592. you have a bodyguard behind your back of all times.

  593. Now, okay, how many of you here?

  594. Oh, actually you can answer this question because your mom's

  595. moms have eyes at the back of your their head. Okay,

  596. if you're a mom, you don't answer this question. How

  597. many of you here can see behind your head? Moms

  598. don't answer? I know you can. You can send so on.

  599. I got very funny story last time. You know, growing up,

  600. I was quite naughty, right, My mom said, don't go out,

  601. stay at home, right, But I will go to my

  602. friend's house and then come back home. And then you'll

  603. prepare everything, and you'll arrange the sleeper, you adjust everything,

  604. you do everything, and then mom come back or faster,

  605. God says, and do homework.

  606. Right.

  607. She opened the door a few seconds past elvin you

  608. and I'm how you know?

  609. So I feel actually just asking you when I arrest

  610. I caught you red. God means that.

  611. In the problems and the perils that you are not

  612. aware about, God will take care of you. Do you

  613. have stuff? Somebody plotting against you? You will know behind man

  614. how to see. You can only only see it. What's

  615. in front?

  616. Right?

  617. Is someone plotting against you? In your work, in your business?

  618. The Lord be your record? You worry so much for what?

  619. If you don't strender to God, then God cannot be

  620. your record, right because you'll be making decisions without his consultation.

  621. But if you consult God, don't you think he will

  622. warn you? No? Good idea, listen, better not get in business.

  623. It is for the no.

  624. But he's such a good Sorry I use this word,

  625. such a good Christian?

  626. Can I be honest you?

  627. Every time someone say he's a Christian, I kind of

  628. get goose bounce a little bit, not to say I don't.

  629. I'm like, Okay, I don't think that's a good qualifier

  630. for me. I want to know that the person is

  631. a man of character. Sorry, I'm gonna be honest and

  632. say this. Unfortunately, some people who are not believers have

  633. more character.

  634. Right.

  635. Unfortunately I use that word, but actually Christians you are

  636. more character, So I don't use it as qualifier. And

  637. I was like, let's see how first you know red God?

  638. That's so amazing. Okay, what's the second one? Right, Isaiah?

  639. If theyd verse time, I like this, so he says,

  640. then you shall call and the Lord will answer.

  641. You shall cry and he will say, here I am.

  642. If you take away the yoke from your midst the

  643. pointing of the finger and speaking of weakness, weakness, what

  644. does that tell you? Ish, well, it's just sorry, I

  645. say nine. It means that you're able to speak to

  646. God and he will answer you. Come here with you

  647. like that?

  648. Right? He will answer you. What does he speak of?

  649. It speaks of a relationship. Friends.

  650. If you don't know how God's sounds a bit hard, right,

  651. imagine imagina, okay, imagine something you okay, you're imagine you're married.

  652. You are okay, but you've got no relationship with your wife.

  653. Don't know how she sounds, but you're married.

  654. She called you. You're like, who's this wrong number? Right? Actually?

  655. Your wife no?

  656. But you forgot the because they never thought never. We

  657. laugh about it. But the sad thing is some of

  658. our relationships we've got, saidad h oo, ouch man. Do

  659. you recognize God's words in your life? Do you recognize

  660. God working in your life? We profess oh, by married

  661. I'm married, but never never spend time, never have Monday,

  662. pass Monday making that famous now, never have date, never

  663. don't know what she likes, don't know you know, I

  664. go a funny story. I got a funny story. I organize.

  665. It's not a bit better, but I just.

  666. Know I I will.

  667. I will share it as a warning for those who

  668. you are getting married. Okay, are going to have a

  669. stag night. So so we had a stag night for

  670. one of my guys. I won't say who, not reason

  671. quite a while back. And uh, because if I say reason,

  672. you will know some of them, right, No, not reason

  673. and uh. And you know, for fun ma, we're like, okay,

  674. we prepare some games, you know. Then we asked the

  675. girl ten questions. Simple questions are like you know where

  676. you want to go in travel for your honeymoon, you

  677. know what color you lie and stuff like that, right

  678. and uh and and then we of course we were like, oh,

  679. some of the things, he will, he will, he'll give.

  680. Us guess, right, you should guess, my you should know what. Right.

  681. We didn't make it difficult. And then we say, okay,

  682. if you don't guess, then you will. You know, we'll

  683. do some punishment. Now put put shaving cream ler, you know,

  684. wear something fanila, just for fun, just have fun over dinner,

  685. nothing too crazy, right, And then we ask questions because

  686. and of course I got the answers from the girlas

  687. so then we played the game as the game progressed.

  688. So it was like, first question, got it wrong? Okay,

  689. ill maybe no? No, no, second question.

  690. Got it wrong?

  691. Friends, the question like what's your favorite color? What kind

  692. of flowers you like? Those that are having good?

  693. Friend? You better asker if you want to live in

  694. one one country in the world, where will you go?

  695. This kind of question? No, what's your dream job? You know?

  696. Where do you you know? It's first question?

  697. Fail no, failure, okay, wrong, secon question wrong, the question

  698. I tell you I reached the fourth question always like cringing,

  699. and you're like, oh, I did, You're better start the

  700. cute he.

  701. Doesn't know at all and you're gonna get married.

  702. And then we're like nothing to say that. I'm like,

  703. this is my guy, I like, I had to tell

  704. all my head I said, you're better, not like that

  705. you'd Then it's so funny because one of the guys

  706. after that, one of the guys, uh, yeah, he was there,

  707. so then he also got in a relationship ye for fun?

  708. See you know, yeah, I know, I know, I know,

  709. I know color I know.

  710. Just in case, just in case, Like okay, I thought

  711. this is like basic stuff. The wor has changed, Daniel,

  712. the wor has changed. They say chivalry is that Maybe

  713. they're right. Relationship friends, relationship with Got is very important.

  714. People don't.

  715. Yeah, this might be a bit outshine, But we don't

  716. really know God's voices because maybe we don't really have

  717. a close enough relationship yet.

  718. I used to work yet, because you can have a

  719. close relationship with him. Right.

  720. My encouragement for all of us here, why don't you

  721. desire a closer relationship with God? Then you were here

  722. his voice, then you would recognized voice?

  723. Right?

  724. Can I give you another kicker relationship we've got? Will

  725. also understand submission to leadership because I also hear people

  726. say things like, oh, God spoke to me?

  727. Can I say anything?

  728. Do you know that if you go to Basadaniel and

  729. and uh, you know.

  730. Just say God has spoken to me? We cannot say anything.

  731. Okay, God speak to you are whether correct or not,

  732. I cannot verify you.

  733. Can't you say God speak to you any what, but.

  734. The danger of friends? Can I give you a fair warning?

  735. The danger is right if you just say stuff like

  736. that as a kapapa, you are putting yourself in danger.

  737. Because I've got really and speak to you then, because

  738. you've come.

  739. Out of the coverage.

  740. So I believe that that if you have relationships got

  741. you will recognized authority in your life. You recognize that

  742. God plays authority and God believes in authority. That's why

  743. he even asked the people you read. You read the

  744. scripture aboututhority. Right, you know, honor your bosses, right, doesn't

  745. matter about that. Honor your your your mother and father.

  746. It's very clear in the Bible. Friends, so we gotta

  747. understand that they give you all some fair warning. So

  748. the point is f fifty eight ten pm. Okay, that's right.

  749. If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy

  750. afflict the soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness,

  751. and your darkness shall be like no, they're quite cool.

  752. Right.

  753. That means how dark your situation now is as bright

  754. as afternoon? Right, let's read the Lord will guide you

  755. continually and satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones.

  756. You shall be like water garden, and like a spring

  757. of water whose waters not fail. So when we surrendered

  758. to God, it doesn't mean that we will not have

  759. any problems. If we don't have any problems, the scripture

  760. sums to any tree will not need to be there.

  761. Do I walk through the value of the shadow, that

  762. I will fear no evil? For your lot and your

  763. stuff they comfort me. It tells you and indicates to

  764. you that life is hard.

  765. You will go through challenging times.

  766. But if you work, we've got you'll be fine.

  767. Right, If you work we've got, you'll be fine. You'll

  768. catch there not.

  769. Yes you'll be difficult, Yes you will cry, Yes you'll

  770. feel pain. But if God is with you, you're gonna

  771. be okay, because He's wrought in his stuff will comfort you.

  772. You're not rotten.

  773. And staff means I think it was preached before. I

  774. think second past the Cannols the one to appreach it.

  775. The shepherd hold a staff and every time and their

  776. staff is like their diary, their journal, because every time

  777. something good happens, they will market and when they look

  778. at their staff, they know God is me because a

  779. lot marks That's how you know, right, and God can

  780. change your situation from that to light, especially.

  781. When you do the things that God wants to care for.

  782. God with the care of you.

  783. It's worth surrendering to God because he will take care

  784. of you. Okay, let me speed it up a little bit.

  785. Isaiah twelve. Let's read on those from among you shall

  786. build always places. You shall rise up from the foundations

  787. of many generations. And you shall call be called the

  788. repair of the breach, the restore, or straight to dwell.

  789. And it sounds like some dungeons and draggers title for

  790. those that laugh. You know, you know, you know. Okay,

  791. what does that mean?

  792. Let me let me phrase it this way.

  793. God will establish us in our purpose for him, because

  794. it says here those.

  795. Shall among you shall build the old waste places.

  796. You know, a waste place is right like rubbish area

  797. means that you're gonna turn a rubbish area to a

  798. not rubbish area. Right, You're gonna rise the foundations of

  799. many generations. That's quite cool, No, because rising the foundations

  800. of many generations means it goes beyond you. God will

  801. use you to bless other generations, not just you. Focus

  802. Some of you can translate to say all my kids

  803. like yes, true, but also others also different generations right

  804. through the faithfulness of pasta Kenna and the leadership through

  805. you know, some of us who walked in those days.

  806. Don't you think a lot of things that we're enjoying

  807. now is because of the sacrifices of the past that

  808. the future generations are benefiting. It is, No, we don't

  809. think about that one, right, The investment of the past

  810. best route today one.

  811. No, actually, you think about it right. A lot of

  812. us here we are.

  813. Benefiting from our situation because of our parents, and life

  814. will get better.

  815. Yeah. In e wil leaders to destiny as well.

  816. That's what the Lord says, you know, he says repair

  817. of the breach right, restore of streets to dwell in.

  818. When you think about streets, right, you think about the homeless,

  819. streets to drill in, homeless poor, no house.

  820. Imagine that if.

  821. You will be used by God right to be able

  822. to make an unlive up a place livable.

  823. Again. I'm still speaking in in a little bit poetryla.

  824. Okay, think about your situation, Well, this company are uh

  825. table jallan ready.

  826. Or these places are very horrible already?

  827. Do you know that you have the power within you

  828. as the sort and the light of this earth, to

  829. affect the situation.

  830. No no, no, no, no, just change the nhama. You know.

  831. Do you know that if Christians really understood the call

  832. that God has all their life, they can make the

  833. difference in the place where everything is no hope, no hope,

  834. no hope, no hope. Christians, you can I'll share it.

  835. That's when you're at the end. Okay, So let's finish it. Isaiah,

  836. if d the thing four things says, if you turn

  837. your foot away from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure

  838. on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight,

  839. the holy day of the Lord honorable, and shall honor him,

  840. not doing your own ways, not finding your own pleasure,

  841. not speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself

  842. in the Lord. And I will cause you to write

  843. on the high heels of the earth and feed you

  844. with the heritage of Jacob your father.

  845. The mouth of the Lord has spoken.

  846. See God reminds us again to not strength our hearts

  847. to ourselves, but to Him and to honor Him.

  848. Talks about the Sabbath.

  849. Right turn, if you on your way, your fruit and

  850. turn your way, your food from doing your own pleasure,

  851. and you're honored a lot. The promises will come after

  852. God's promises will come. Oh, Parcel, you mean that I

  853. have to, you know, repent first journey, I'll be blessed.

  854. Yeah kind of. Oh but isn't God good? Wouldn't he

  855. just let me give you this perspective? After I read this,

  856. I can't understand because sometimes, right we might be sharing

  857. about the goodness of God so much that we think

  858. that we can take you for granted this morning, elder,

  859. can you share in PJ he gave a very good

  860. perspective about how you know, a lot of times I'm

  861. not saying you guys are a lot of times sometimes

  862. Christians we get use words like you know, God will

  863. understand right because he's so good. Right, he will understand right.

  864. He understand right why I have to miss church. He

  865. understand right why I have to do this. He understands

  866. right because he's got the father right. But do you

  867. understand God? We expect God to understand our situation, But

  868. do you understand what?

  869. Do you understand what God wants to do in your life?

  870. Do you understand we don't flip the script. Care, I

  871. give you.

  872. Another perspective from that, this one whether or not your

  873. father or not a father? I think you understand this.

  874. Her father rewards his children after his child follows his instruction.

  875. Correct. How many of you are will do the opposite.

  876. The child don't follow the instruction, But yet you reward

  877. the child correct or not good?

  878. Or not good? To what? Good? Father? What's going to

  879. happen to the child? What will happen to the child?

  880. Friends, when you do that, you'll know the way, right,

  881. Rosa such a strong one to use.

  882. The child is spoiled where we broke him because don't understand?

  883. But then why when it comes to God and us,

  884. we can uh, we can use that card.

  885. Funny you think about that? Do you awnly respond? Right?

  886. God is not interested in just blessing. You know.

  887. God is interested in transforming us. And if we are

  888. going to be called God's children, then we should look

  889. like him. Coronel, What is God's heart? Do we understand

  890. God's heart? Do we know God's heart? Does God want

  891. you to have? But but they're like, yes, he wants to,

  892. he does. He wants you to do well. No father

  893. will want his kid to to fail and nobody how

  894. bad your child, So you still want him to survive,

  895. to not survive, but triph, you know that's the desire

  896. of every parent coronal. Yes, so the desire is there, right,

  897. But then when you want to teach your kids lessons,

  898. you will have to not to say, be cruel, but

  899. you have to teach your kids lessons are So how

  900. can you, in good favor reward a child when they misbehave? However,

  901. when the child does the right thing, make the right decision,

  902. don't you think the parent will over celebrate. I think

  903. a parent will celebrate, you know, to reinforce the point.

  904. So who is God to us? We've got to think

  905. about that, right, Why is it important that we strengthered

  906. to him? And I think he made it very easy, falsity,

  907. He made it very easy. Falsity, he made it very easy. Falsity.

  908. Let me share with you a little bit about what

  909. I shared just now, the slight testimony. So I mentioned

  910. about sort and light. Right, Like, when you're a believer,

  911. a few things happen. One is we commit ourselves to God,

  912. we strender to him, right, and then after that there

  913. is transformation that happens in a life. Because again a

  914. lot of us here have challenges, and I mean I'm

  915. messed up, man, if I think about it myself.

  916. You know a lot of things. Have to undo a

  917. lot of stuff.

  918. When I experienced when I was young, I had to

  919. undo right and again I wish it'd be better.

  920. But Keiller this life right.

  921. But that doesn't mean that I have to continue the

  922. make and Nola, you know we make better decisions. God

  923. is good, he said, he'll be the father of the

  924. fatherless right, and God is good. But when God transformed

  925. your lives, like I said, the heart of the Father

  926. is always for others, the heart of the Father because

  927. he created you. Last week, Pastor Met shared this in PJ.

  928. Good Friday's Away. He said this, God never created you

  929. with the intention for you to die. You know why,

  930. I think doctrinally he's correct when he shut up, like, oh,

  931. think about it. Yeah, because when God created man, he

  932. had the tree of life and the tree of going evil.

  933. Of course, he said, don't touch that, Butler, but I

  934. didn't listen. But He never created his creation to die

  935. or no, and why the creation had to die because

  936. of sin?

  937. Because sin came picture.

  938. And the punishment scene is death right, But God never

  939. intended for all this to happen.

  940. We say, oh, God is, how can God allow evil?

  941. Well, unfortunately, unfortunately evil came, and who's evil?

  942. All of us long? We have that problem now? Right.

  943. However, when Christ come in your life, there is a

  944. transformation right from the dark side, you become the light

  945. side now already. But the cool thing about God and

  946. how he uses earth is that you can't if the

  947. light is so brighter, you cannot hide it on, it

  948. will come on, you know. That's why the example of

  949. sort and light is very important to believe. Means that

  950. however dark the situation is, because you are there, you

  951. will come to life. That's the power that is within

  952. your friends. That's the power of Christ within you, the

  953. power of the Holy Spirit within you.

  954. Right.

  955. And one of the dark places that I find myself

  956. in and La last time was in this whole thing

  957. about passionates. It's red dark. There was no church involved

  958. in any work. Well, godlad MC, I think it.

  959. Was doing a bit.

  960. I know Kingdom City has because Joseph bad you know,

  961. she's in EAP and they do be all work right

  962. Pastor Isaac's wife, right, I know she does. But Hall

  963. here and then of course Malaysian Kare also is Christian,

  964. but you don't really hear much stuff one right, but

  965. it's a red dark place, red dark place, a very

  966. hopeless place during that time, not much things required. Also

  967. because we are Asians, so we don't really like to

  968. talk about stuff like this.

  969. And then there's a lot of misconception.

  970. Like you know, sometimes I feel sometimes the old spiritual

  971. thing when something that happens. Your line means you're saying,

  972. sometimes people have that come mindset. I don't think that's

  973. a good mindset to a hefla. Okay, and it was

  974. a red dark place. But you know, God, through his

  975. grace and mercy, firstly change me first that the transformations

  976. do happen here first.

  977. And then it happens here.

  978. From here it flows out right because the it was

  979. as simple, the thought was as simple as this, our friends,

  980. Why was there nothing done for spassionists in churches? It

  981. doesn't see it well with me, because if Jesus is

  982. here to say, if the laws you mean, spassionists cannot

  983. because just open drug rehabilitation center, just just open halfway

  984. home thinking about it, just do a lot of things.

  985. You know, My xpression is no new sona so that

  986. got me on the journey to where we are today, right,

  987. And I tell you it has been a very interesting

  988. journey because the one thing that I realized that people

  989. need is not necessarily more money. I mean, money is good.

  990. It's not necessarily more therapy our friends. Not necessarily Okay,

  991. it's not necessarily more information. Let me tell you what

  992. is the one thing that I realize a lot of

  993. people need.

  994. Hope?

  995. Because I've met people who got a lot of money,

  996. a lot of in a lot of therapy, no hope.

  997. Then they give up.

  998. And then you hear a story of the tall adults

  999. who cannot take care of themselves at home because they

1000. gave up hope. Quite and I've spoken to so many people.

  1001. I see, I'm not a trained person. I am just

1002. a father. I you know, so happened to Gilla society,

1003. like very big down there. Actually, Like you know, I

1004. feel like, you know, not trained. I'm not a clinical psychologist.

1005. I'm not none of that. But I've spoken to parents

1006. as a believer. I've spoken to parents on all backgrounds, Chinese, Indian, Malay,

1007. all backgrounds, and all it takes is to say you're

1008. doing good, keep it up, whatever you're trying. Sounds that

1009. it's working, go for it, and then they start balling

  1010. it from me.

1011. Really can it really? Can my kid? Really?

1012. Don't you think that it's being sort in line. I'm

1013. not trying to boast of what I'm doing. I'm trying

1014. to tell you that God will use you to encourage people. Right, God,

1015. will you use you in your challenges? He was out

1016. of a challenge, trends. It was out of a challenge.

1017. And most of the time for those of us word challenges,

1018. we have the well I would say authority maybe because

1019. you went through it to be able to speak life

  1020. in that situation.

1021. Con that's the power that God has for you.

1022. But it starts with a strender heart. Amen, let's pray Hall. Yeah,

1023. maybe Extreme team can come up. Be ready to minister.

  1024. Hall.

1025. Thank you, Lord, Praise you Jesus Holy Spirit. I pray

1026. that you will continue this work in our livestock. Farther,

1027. I pray that today, Lord Father, your children or we

1028. will to experience breakthrough in their livestock.

  1029. Father.

1030. If we've been stuck in something for many, many years,

1031. I pray all God there today it will be different

1032. because we will surrendered to you, Lord, help us slot fathers,

1033. to stop being ignorant, to stop being a stubborn lot father,

1034. but to just surrender to you and say, Lord, you

  1035. take over.

1036. Take over this area of my life.

1037. Take over this anxiety that have take over, this worry

1038. that have take over, this.

1039. Pride that I have. I think that I know everything.

1040. Lord take over this thd Lord, take over this unwillingness.

1041. Lod Father, take over this hurts some of you. Hear

1042. you've had hurts in the past. Maybe someone wrong you,

1043. maybe someone said the wrong thing, someone you know unintentionally

1044. something maybe a churchleader did it. Who knows? You need

1045. to forgive. You need to forgive. And I tell you

1046. the moment you forgive, you'll be set free. The moment

1047. you forgive, you'll be set free. Matthew five fourteen says,

1048. for if you forgive men their trespassers, your heavenly Father

1049. will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men,

1050. they're trust past us. Neither will your father forgive your

1051. trespass You want to be said free, friends, forgive, forgive,

1052. surrender to him. Stranded a hurt, stranded at bitterness. God

1053. wants to use you. God wants to maybe this person

1054. that wrong you. You're going to see them tomorrow and

1055. you know that they're not gonna change, They're gonna repeat

1056. the same thing again. Wait, it doesn't matter. It doesn't

1057. matter because it's not about them. It's about you. It's

1058. about you surrendering that unforgiveness and bitterness in your life

1059. and saying, Lord take over. Maybe that is the one

1060. thing that's causing you to be stuck. Friends, God wants

1061. us to really adopt his heart because we're his children.

1062. He wants us to be set free. He wants us

1063. to experience him in another way, in another level. Are

1064. you believing for something today? Are you believing for God

1065. to come true for you? Maybe you're in a crossroad.

1066. You're not sure what to do, what to pray for,

1067. but you're feeling very anxious. All I can say is

1068. surrender that to the Lord and he will direct your path.

1069. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1070. information on our church, please visit as Church Org. We

1071. are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing that

1072. this week is going to be a good week, a

1073. hit for you. God bless
