  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. I'm gonna start off first with a joke. Oh no,

  4. some of you shaking your hat. Really?

  5. Oh, here we go again, Here we go again. All right,

  6. but let's let's let's let's let's try this. Okay, let's

  7. try this.

  8. Okay. Imagine yourself right now.

  9. You're in biblical times, okay, and in biblical times, we

  10. don't have that water, right, we don't have pipes, so

  11. people drew water from the well. Okay, So imagine yourself

  12. You're going to the well to draw water for your household.

  13. Okay, just just imagine.

  14. Get yourself into that, that that the environment, okay, and

  15. then you do this.

  16. Okay.

  17. Then let's start there the story begins. Okay, So you're

  18. drawing water, right, and then there's a person next in

  19. line waiting to draw water. Also, okay, what do you

  20. say to the person next in line after you've done

  21. drawing water from the well?

  22. Not really a good one. Maybe I'll at that. Yeah.

  23. So after the person finishes drawing water, so the person

  24. next in line, you know, I would say well done? Ah?

  25. Then okay, okay, what do you say?

  26. What do you say to the same person who asks you,

  27. how is the water?

  28. It is?

  29. Well, what happens when you see the same person the

  30. next day?

  31. Close? Well, well, well if it.

  32. Isn't, it's all you already say my next one? Oh

  33. but never mind. Uh what do you say to me

  34. after I delivered this joke? Well say, okay, do you

  35. want me to go on?

  36. Well?

  37. Okay, all right, that's it, alright, just start having that

  38. drill some cues into us. The title for the message

  39. today is living well. Actually it's not. It's living water. Yeah, okay,

  40. so hope that registers more okay the job job officially

  41. finishally and say okay, no more, all right?

  42. Some of you, yes, praise the Lord, no more, all right.

  43. So the title for the message today is this is

  44. living water. We sung about that just now, Living water. Now,

  45. if I can get your attention to John chapter four,

  46. all right, it's a story about the woman and the well.

  47. I think that probably is gonna get stuck in your head. Well, right,

  48. the woman at the well. Jesus met this Samaritan woman

  49. at the well. So can if you can flee open

  50. your scripture, We're gonna go through the story, or rather,

  51. we're gonna go through what happened that in those days

  52. when Jesus was there. Okay, right, so John chapter four,

  53. and we're gonna just read through verse one to eight.

  54. First, Are we there? Are we there? All right? So

  55. follow along.

  56. I'm gonna read from the NLT translation John chapter four,

  57. Verse one to eight. Jesus knew the Pharisees had heard

  58. that he was baptizing and making more disciples than John,

  59. though Jesus himself didn't baptize them.

  60. His disciples dead verse three. So he left.

  61. Judea and returned to Galilee. He had to go through

  62. some Maria on the way. I want you to highlight this.

  63. He had to go through some Maria on the way.

  64. Eventually he came to the Samaritan village of Sikar, near

  65. the field that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Jacob's

  66. wealth was there, and Jesus, tired from the long walk,

  67. sat warily beside the well.

  68. About noon time. I want you to highlight the time

  69. as well.

  70. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water, and Jesus

  71. said to her, please give me a drink. He was

  72. alone at the time because his disciples had gone into

  73. the village to buy some food. Now, when during that

  74. time you see Samaritans and Jews, they weren't friends. In fact,

  75. they view each other as enemies. Enemies to a point

  76. that when the Jews go through Samaria, the Samaritans may

  77. actually rob.

  78. Or kill them vice versa.

  79. All right, And if you do a little bit of study,

  80. it was because they don't quite agree that Jewish people

  81. don't quite agree with Samaritans in the way they believe

  82. in God because of obvious reasons, because there was a

  83. mixed part of cultures that so there was some pagan

  84. practices that they implemented in their own worship towards the

  85. Lord as well. So you can do a bit more

  86. studient and that I'm not going to dive into that,

  87. but basically they want friends. So when they travel and

  88. you can google, I didn't manage to put the map

  89. in here. You can google the map of basically Judaea, Samaria, Jerusalem.

  90. You realize that for and you see Jesus say, right,

  91. He's going to travel from Judea and to return to Galilee.

  92. Rights man in the middle is Samaria, and the Jewish

  93. people all the time will not go through Samaria. They

  94. will go around Samaria because they're not friends. They fear

  95. for their lives, right and all that. But and having

  96. that in mind, just not ask you to highlight this

  97. part of the scripture. Jesus said I had to go through.

  98. That means there was intention. Jesus was very intentional to

  99. go through Samaria. It's not by the way thing. It's

  100. not also happened I passed by, But Jesus had the

  101. intention to go through Samaria on the way right. It

  102. was also I highlighted I see highlighted the time as well.

  103. It was also noon time, the hottest time of the

  104. day that Jesus said at the well. It was also noontime,

  105. the hottest time of the day that the Samaritan woman

  106. decided to draw water.

  107. Some of you have heard this before.

  108. You notice people would draw water when the sun hasn't

  109. risen up yet, very early in the morning, so it's

  110. not hot.

  111. Because they have to walk very far to the well.

  112. They're traveling from different parts right of town to go

  113. to that well to draw water. But yet, interestingly, Jesus

  114. and the Samaritan women intersected in the most uncommon of times.

  115. The place where people draw water I want to talk

  116. about the well now. I hope he has drill into

  117. here really well, well, well, well, every time you say

  118. talk about well, hopefully you think about my joke.

  119. Okay, But.

  120. The well back in those days is a social social spot.

  121. That's where the women get it to draw water. I

  122. can't imagine. They probably gossiped, you know, the next door neighbor.

  123. You know, that's the spoiler. That's the spot, is the

  124. draw water? You know I heard this girl's the spot.

  125. I can't imagine. It's a social spot, right. It was

  126. also a spot where romance happened. If you look at scripture,

  127. all right, this is a place where Isaac when looking

  128. for a partner the servant red and met his future wife.

  129. Right is Isaac and Rebecca. There is also Isaac's son,

  130. Jacob and Rachel same story, met at the well.

  131. Moses. Do you know this? Moses met Zipporah at the well. Right.

  132. So it's a very social spot, right where people probably

  133. exchange information, catch up on each other. Right, draw water

  134. as they are drawing water. They did that. Oh, just

  135. I'm sharing this because so you know a little bit

  136. that this is not just a place where people just

  137. draw water. It's a social spot, right, And I want

  138. you to also think not again, that Jesus met the woman,

  139. the Samaritan woman, at the time where there was no

  140. one there noon time.

  141. Hot, right, the social spot was empty. Okay.

  142. And this point I want to bring across Jesus being

  143. there at that time at that place was not sheer

  144. coincidence or convenience. It was a divine appointment. Jesus had

  145. the plan. Probably at the time the disciples didanola, right,

  146. the disciples probably asking Jesus why you want to go

  147. through this route? And at that time, as you read,

  148. the disciples Aso went off to get food, so Jesus

  149. was alone. Hey, okay, we're gonna continue from verse ten

  150. to verse thirteen, Jesus replied, And I really skipped through

  151. some parts of really, but let's go to verse ten,

  152. Jesus replied to the woman. So during that time, okay, context,

  153. the woman was like, surprise, why is Jesus talking to me? First,

  154. she didn't even know it was Jesus. Why is this

  155. Jewish man talking to me. We're not supposed to be talking, right.

  156. She probably felt quite inferior, right, because that's how they

  157. are the Jews view.

  158. Themselves higher than the Samaritans? Right?

  159. Why are you talking to me? You know, a Jewish

  160. man talking to a Samaritan woman.

  161. We don't talk right, and you're asking me to draw

  162. water for you. What's going on? Right?

  163. And then Jesus said this verse ten, if you only

  164. knew the gift God has for you and who you

  165. are speaking to, you would ask me, and I will

  166. give you living water. Wan need to highlight the word

  167. living water. But sir, this is where the Samaritan woman replied,

  168. you don't have.

  169. A robe or a bucket, and this well is very deep.

  170. When would you get this living water?

  171. And besides, do you think you're greater than our ancestor Jacob,

  172. who gave us this well? How can you offer better

  173. water than he and his sons and his animals enjoyed?

  174. Jesus replied, any one who drinks this water will soon

  175. become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I

  176. gave you'll never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh

  177. bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life. Again, familiar

  178. scripture to many of us. I've got a question for us.

  179. Have you ever ever asked this question? What is this

  180. living water? Why is this living water. What do you

  181. think is Jesus talking about We sing that a lot,

  182. we say that a lot, we pray that a lot,

  183. But what is actually living water? Okay, they're actually Jesus

  184. answered this question. All right, We're gonna just flip through

  185. a few more chapters later. Let's look at John chapter seven,

  186. Verses they eight to thirty nine. Jesus answered this right,

  187. Jesus say, is anyone who believes in me may come

  188. and drink? For the scriptures declare revers of living water

  189. will flow from his heart verse thirty nine.

  190. This is where it is answered.

  191. When he said living water, he was speaking of the

  192. spirit who would be given to.

  193. Everyone believing in him.

  194. But the spirit had not yet been given because Jesus

  195. had not yet entered into his glory.

  196. Living water is the Holy Spirit.

  197. So when Jesus was talking to the Samaritan woman about

  198. getting this living water, Jesus was telling her that this

  199. is the gift that is prepared for you. The Holy

  200. Spirit contacts again. The Samaritans probably were thinking us. If

  201. you read more later, you'll find in the dialogue that

  202. Jesus also addressed how the Jewish people were the chosen people,

  203. but yet Jesus is now saying to a Samaritan that.

  204. The Holy Spirit is for you. Okay. A lot of

  205. a lot of things going on here, all right.

  206. And when Jesus spoke in scripture, I did a bit

  207. of study when he said, revers of living water will

  208. flow from his heart. Do you guys know where this

  209. is from? Okay, this is actually Jesus was quoting scripture.

  210. He was quoting Ezekiel forty seven. So if you can

  211. flee open to Ezekiel forty seven, we're going to go

  212. through some verses there, all right, Ezekiel forty seven, verse

  213. six to twelve. Ezekiel forty seven, Verse six to twelve.

  214. All right, okay, let's go two days together. He asked me,

  215. have you been watching Son of Men? Then he led

  216. me back along the river bank. Now verse one to five.

  217. You will see that actually he caught a vision. Is

  218. he con caught a vision of water rising up?

  219. Okay? Water rising up? Right?

  220. So you're talking about this? He asked me, have you

  221. been watching Son of Men? Then he led me back

  222. along the river bank. When I returned, I was surprised

  223. by the side of many trees growing on both sides

  224. of the river. Then he said to me, this river

  225. flows east through the desert into the valley of the

  226. Dead Sea. The waters of this stream will make the

  227. salty waters of the dead Sea fresh and pure. The

  228. Dead Sea is the saltiest water body of water in

  229. the world. All right again, contact, so when he said this,

  230. it's actually quite powerful. The waters of this stream will

  231. make the salty waters of the Dead Sea fresh and pure.

  232. There will be swarms of living things wherever the water

  233. of this river flows. Fish we're abound in the dead Sea. Now,

  234. if you guys know the dead sea, fish will only

  235. flow up to the surface. Basically, they can't survive as well.

  236. Right for its water will become fresh. Life will flourish

  237. whereever wherever this water flows. Fishermen will stand along the

  238. shores of the Dead Sea all the way from Engeddy

  239. to n Iglem. The shores will be covered with nets

  240. drying in the sun. Fish of every kind will fill

  241. the Dead Sea, just as they fill the Mediterranean, but

  242. the marshes and swamps will not be purified.

  243. They will still be salty.

  244. Fruit Trees of all kinds will grow along both sides

  245. of the river. The leaves of these trees will never

  246. turn brown and fall, and there will always be fruit

  247. on their branches. There will be a new crop every month,

  248. for they are watered by the river flowing from the temple.

  249. The fruit will be for food, and the leaves for healing.

  250. The vision that Ezekiel caught was water coming out of

  251. the temple, the place where the presence.

  252. Of God is right.

  253. And we of course know that back then, when people

  254. want to go and encounter the Lord, the priests will

  255. have to go into the temple, right, But how many

  256. of us know today the tabernacl is us.

  257. God is in us all right?

  258. So when he caught this vision of water flowing out

  259. of the temple, this water, as mentioned in here, could

  260. bring life. Something as dead as the dead sea could

  261. have fresh water again. Fishes and life could be within

  262. this body of water.

  263. Trees will grow along.

  264. The river banks with leaves that will not grow brown

  265. or fall.

  266. Right.

  267. So Jesus was quoting this scripture when he talked about

  268. the Holy Spirit, when he talked about the living water

  269. that he also promised will come when he assents to God,

  270. the Father's right hand side and friend, this living water.

  271. The time of the Holy Spirit is now, and it's here.

  272. You see, we talk about revival this year. That's our theme.

  273. God wants to bring revival. There is God's desire. He

  274. wants to bring restoration. God wants to revive what is

  275. dead in us. And you know how he does it.

  276. He does it through living water. He does it through

  277. the Holy Spirit. So friends, do you have the Holy

  278. Spirit with you today? Because you can't have revival without

  279. the Holy Spirit. We learn these true homes as well,

  280. we can't have revival. The Holy Spirit is the catalyst

  281. for revival. Without the Holy Spirit, that can be no revival.

  282. There can be no restoration. That can be no We

  283. need the Holy Spirit. That's why in Acts we talk

  284. about the baptism of the Holy Spirit a lot because

  285. it's important because it is also what was promised by

  286. Jesus that after he has sents the Holy spiritual come

  287. upon us. The moment we receive there is where John

  288. seventhey nine says, anyone who believes in me may come

  289. and drink. For the scriptures declare rivers of living water

  290. will throw from his heart, meaning to say, revers of

  291. living water will flow not from.

  292. Out to inn, but in outwards.

  293. And that can only happen when the Holy spirit resides

  294. with us within us.

  295. Are we okay? So far okay?

  296. I want to bring your attention to verse eleven of

  297. easy Quill forty seven Marshals, marshals and psalms will not

  298. be purified. This caught my attention because writes back in

  299. the middle of the Scripture of God saying, Oh.

  300. It's gonna be live.

  301. That's gonna be you know, uh, there's gonna be trees,

  302. there's gonna be a life of fishes.

  303. Of uh, you know, the they will be filled with

  304. live again.

  305. There in the middle is a scripture MUSHes and swamps

  306. shall not be purified for the and they shall remain salty.

  307. Does that mean why did God just allow everything to

  308. be purified, everything to have life except marshes and swamps.

  309. Marshes and swamps, if.

  310. You know a little bit about what they do, is

  311. they retain water. Marshes and swamps uh areas. But that's

  312. why you see, if people want to prevent uh, you know,

  313. uh flooding and all that, it's important for the swamps

  314. to be taken care of. Right, they cannot be removed, right,

  315. It's quite important. But you see, mushans and swamps, they

  316. retain water. And what I call from this is any

  317. time we choose to retain things from the Lord, any

  318. times we want to keep things in our life that

  319. God is asking us to let go to surrender. God

  320. cannot bring restoration. Living water cannot touch these places. It's

  321. not that living water doesn't want to or it's incapable,

  322. but because it's up to us, we have free will.

  323. We have to decide. So as long as we.

  324. Choose to retain certain things in our life, we choose

  325. to have things our way, the Holy Spirit will not

  326. be able to touch those.

  327. Areas of our lives.

  328. That's why in verse eleven it says, but the mushans

  329. and swamps will not be purified, they will still be salty.

  330. I'm gonna move back to the Samaritan woman. Jesus met

  331. the Samaritan woman. Get this, Jesus met the Samaritan woman

  332. while she was trying to hide. That is why she

  333. went during noon time.

  334. Nobody was there.

  335. She didn't have to talk about herself, she didn't have

  336. to talk about things. And you know in this scripture

  337. that Jesus actually ignored addresses the sin in her life.

  338. Right don't you think the community would know what the

  339. woman has been doing. So there was a lot of

  340. shame probably that a woman felt. I don't want to

  341. see anyone. I don't want to meet anyone. I just

  342. want to quietly go get the water, go back home.

  343. Jesus met the Samaritan woman while she was trying to hide.

  344. And actually that's what God does for us as well.

  345. In the same way. He meets us, not when we

  346. are prim and proper. He meets us, not when we

  347. are well and happy. He meets us when we also

  348. have things to hide, because those are the very things

  349. that cause brokenness. Those are the very things that let's

  350. not talk about it. Those are the things that deep

  351. within our hearts that only we know many times. But

  352. you see, God met the woman at the time when

  353. she was trying to hide. Are there things that you're

  354. hiding from the Lord? Are there things that you're hiding

  355. from people? All of us, I think, have something like that.

  356. Things are not too proud of, things are broken in

  357. our lives that we don't quite dare to acknowledge because

  358. acknowledging hurts. But Jesus wants to meet us in the

  359. places where we are trying to hide, just just like

  360. how in Genesis when Adam and Eve sinned. God came

  361. into the garden and said, where are you, Adam? But

  362. they were hiding. I think God knows where they are

  363. at are but God was reaching out to them with love.

  364. Where are you, Adam? And I believe that invitation is

  365. the same to us as well. Where are you Stephen?

  366. I want to meet you where you're hiding. I want

  367. to meet you where you're feeling shame, where you're feeling broken.

  368. And this is where it gets interesting. Notice the woman's

  369. response when Jesus pointed out her sin a very sore spot,

  370. the most broken, shameful part of the woman's life. Jesus

  371. pointed out, yes, you've had multiple husbands and the person

  372. you're staying with now is not even your husband.

  373. If you're in that woman's shoe, imagine what.

  374. Would your reaction be? Would it be self defense? Being

  375. very defensive?

  376. What do you know? Who are you? Again?

  377. Women didn't know of Jesus before that inkling of a

  378. This person's quite interesting Jewish men talking to me, But

  379. she didn't know who Jesus was. If anyone comes out

  380. to you and brings up something you're hiding, what would

  381. be your first reaction?

  382. It's a very source spot of our life. Think about that.

  383. For a woman, I think I will be quite angry.

  384. Who are you to say this to me?

  385. I don't even know you, right, But I want you

  386. to notice the woman's reaction. Not only did she not

  387. get angry, not only did she not get defensive. Not

  388. only she didn't deny, Because maybe there's many times our

  389. reaction as well when people pointings out, no, my god, no,

  390. I think it's okay, I'm okay. She this woman acknowledged

  391. what Jesus said was true, and she really received.

  392. What the Lord revealed.

  393. When the Lord revealed that this is a problem in

  394. your life, she responded by saying, Lord, you're right?

  395. Are you a prophet? Lord?

  396. And I think this is the word that is to

  397. encourage us, because I really believe, even as believers, that

  398. things we are hiding, sore spots, pain, brokenness, that sometimes

  399. we even hide it from ourselves and pretend we're okay,

  400. we're okay, okay, things that happened in our past. It's

  401. in the pascity, Okay, we're all right. But again, remember

  402. MUSHes and swamps, we'll not have living water. Are we

  403. retaining those things and not surrendering to the Lord. Revival

  404. and restoration will only come when we allow the most

  405. broken parts of ourselves to be uncovered and exposed.

  406. By staff. Right.

  407. It's painful, sometimes even shameful, but here's the thing. If

  408. we keep it covered, it will continue to rot and

  409. it will cause problems that will manifest elsewhere. You'll start

  410. to have Imagine for a moment, you have a wound

  411. that's not healing. You just pretend it's not there, put

  412. the plaster over it, put it right, pretend it's not there.

  413. And if the wound is not treated, you'll continue to rot.

  414. There will be infection. What happen is you start having fever.

  415. You may even start having body ache, and you'll start

  416. because the immune system is low, you'll start to invite

  417. other viruses.

  418. It will manifest.

  419. Anything that we any brokenness that we can't try to

  420. cover up or we try to pretend it's not there,

  421. it will not only continue to be there, but it

  422. will continue to become worse. And that's where the good

  423. news comes in. The Lord wants to restore the broken

  424. parts of our lives, but something has to happen first.

  425. You have to open up the bandit and look at

  426. the wound and it hurts her. Oh, man, they know

  427. it was this bad. Oh there, I have a problem,

  428. or that's very hard to acknowledge. Sometimes I have a problem.

  429. No longer pretending that it's not there. But Jesus with love,

  430. pointed out the woman's problem, And you know what was deeper.

  431. Jesus was actually answering to her, You'll be looking for

  432. fulfillment and love in all this men, But the answer

  433. is in the living water that's going to come to you.

  434. That's where you'll find true fulfillment. That was what Jesus

  435. was telling her. I'm giving you a solution. Not only

  436. did Jesus point out the issue, Jesus pointed out the solution.

  437. Right.

  438. The biggest step towards restoration is the humble, honest, acknowledgement

  439. that there is a problem. And sometimes it is the

  440. toughest thing for a Christian to do. I've got God

  441. in my life, everything is okay, right, And sometimes it

  442. becomes lipservice. You know, we just say it, how are

  443. you okay? God is good? How are things in your life?

  444. Okay? God is wayful?

  445. Nothing wrong in declaring God's goodness, But if you're not

  446. careful we may be hiding her, and the worst thing

  447. is we are hiding, but yet we don't even realize

  448. that we are doing that. Coming to an end now,

  449. John fort thirty nine forty two, many Samaritans from the

  450. village believe in Jesus because the woman had said, he

  451. told me everything I ever did. Now this is after

  452. Jesus has talked to her. Of course, they talked about

  453. the whole worshipingtain in the mountain or in Jerusalem, that

  454. one we won't be It's actually quite rich, a lot

  455. of things in there, but I won't be touching that

  456. because of time. So after the whole conversation, after being exposed,

  457. after the woman is like, oh no, this man talk

  458. about everything that I ever did. Exposed, this is what

  459. the woman did. The woman went to the village where

  460. she was hiding from, taking notre of that, went to

  461. the village the very people she was hiding from, and

  462. said this, he told me everything I ever did. When

  463. they came out to see him, they begged him to

  464. stay in their village. So he stayed for two days,

  465. long enough for many more to hear his message and believe.

  466. Then they say to the woman, now we believe, not

  467. just because of what you told us, but because we

  468. have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he's indeed

  469. the savior of the woman of the world. And the woman,

  470. having encountered God, get this. She has experienced a very,

  471. very deep transformation because from a place of being afraid

  472. of meeting people there, she was running to the village

  473. proclaiming that he has revealed everything I ever did. Do

  474. you think she's talking about drawing water, cooking day to

  475. day life. She's talking about the sin, the brokenness. From

  476. a place of fear and shame, she was able to

  477. then just declare, this man revealed everything I ever did.

  478. What happened here.

  479. When she encountered Jesus, a deep transformation took place. She

  480. acknowledged her sin, and when she encountered Jesus, shame was

  481. taken away and in its place was freedom. That's why

  482. she was able to go to very people that she

  483. was hiding from and say the very thing and admit

  484. the very thing that she was doing. Freedom and encourage

  485. to live came into her life. And it all started

  486. with allowing ourselves to be open to the lawn by revealing,

  487. already acknowledging the things that we're hiding. Jesus meets us

  488. where we are hiding. He doesn't meet us when we

  489. are trying to impress. He meets us at times where

  490. we don't want to meet him. How many of you

  491. have had that? Me many times. God confronts me many

  492. times I don't want to have anything to do with him,

  493. when I want to pretend nothing happened. But God meets

  494. us there because it's only true. Then we can experience restoration.

  495. When living water, holy Spirit can do a workinness where

  496. we no longer have these marshes and swamps to retain

  497. the things that we're hiding, but to release. Then this

  498. water of life can come into that area and bring restoration.

  499. I've had the privilege of journeying with different ones who

  500. I also resonate with, where there are things in the

  501. past that's happened, maybe in our lives, either causing us trauma,

  502. causing certain things to cause us to reac certain ways,

  503. and sometimes we don't even realize. You see, we think

  504. that I think, okay, well, there is in the past,

  505. I've recovered, I've healed, do anything about it. But in Manifest,

  506. right in Manifest, we respond reactions and that you heard

  507. me share this before. I like saying sorry, even though

  508. I didn't do anything wrong. When I preach a little stronger,

  509. I would say sorry, but I have to ask myself,

  510. why am I apologizing for preaching the truth. But I

  511. realized it is actually a trauma reaction, trauma response from

  512. my past, and I had to bring that before the Lord.

  513. I just say, God, is there something that that needs healing?

  514. And I needed to bring that rip off the band

  515. aid ouch say God, I have a problem. I thought

  516. I I have not, and it's causing problems right now.

  517. In other areas of my life, I have the privilege

  518. of journeying with people, talking to people who also have

  519. the same thing, and many times we don't even realize

  520. that we are covering up because we are so used

  521. to saying I'm okay, I'm fine, it's not an issue.

  522. But when you.

  523. Really start to dig deeper, you start to realize there

  524. are wounds in our past that has not been healed.

  525. And God never meant for those wounds to stay as

  526. wounds because God wants to make us whole, that is

  527. his heart. God wants to make us well. God wants

  528. to give living water to us, the Holy Spirit. I

  529. don't know how many of us here are the Samaritan

  530. women today where we are hiding.

  531. We're afraid.

  532. But why not take this opportunity to be vulnerable before

  533. God and say, Lord, you reveal this in me. Maybe

  534. you're confused about certain things? Why do I react like

  535. this all the time? Why do I respond this way?

  536. Let the Lord reveal to you. Because the Lord will

  537. do that. Just say how Jesus spoke to the woman. Yeah,

  538. you have this problem. The Lord will do the same

  539. for us too, and he'll reveal. But we must first

  540. be opened to not be swamps and Marcius, God, you

  541. cannot touch this, cannot cannot It's okay God, no need,

  542. no need. God wants to do a restoration work in you,

  543. if only you will open yourself up to Him.

  544. Amen.

  545. I pray that we will truly experience revival in our

  546. own lives, personal lives, because God is interested in that.

  547. God is not interested in our performance as a Christian

  548. in attendance.

  549. No. God wants to see.

  550. Us restored our relationship with Him, restored, our relationship with ourselves, restored,

  551. our relationship with our family, restored. That is God's business.

  552. He wants that for you. But do you want that

  553. for yourself.
