You're listening to a message to go from acts church.
-
We hope this message will light up your team.
-
So I want to speak about revival. All right.
-
What the thing is is that what's holding you back
-
from giving you all? What's holding you back from giving
-
you all? It's important for us to realize, to understand,
-
to know our part as believers for a long time already,
-
after a while, we can hold back.
-
After a while we can. The word is that.
-
We're not too excited, or rather, the first thing that
-
comes up in our mouth is a more know than
-
the yes. And you know, it's never easy. I under said,
-
it's never easy to serve the Lord. But yeah, the
-
same though, it's always challenging you and me friends to
-
serve him, to say yes to him. So I'm fifty
-
one this year. I am fifty one. I know I
-
don't look like fifty one. By I'm fifty one. I'm sorry,
-
I'm fifty one this year and serving the young people friends, Uh,
-
it's never easy. So we have a few enterprises that
-
we run, right, one of them is a ca fake
-
corner that we run. And I told you to some
-
one or two people that. So we have a school.
-
Our school do taking different growth students, and one of
-
them happened to be sort of a child uh slow learner,
-
and she couldn't retain new information new knowledge very easily.
-
So she's supposed to graduate about two years ago. But
-
she deferred and defer and defer. The mom just spoke
-
to us and just say to us, hey, it's okay,
-
I understand my brand. My daughter is at. I just
-
want her to graduate her friends, right, she won't do that.
-
She may not graduate with the ig SID so, but
-
I just want her graduate with her friends. And uh,
-
if you can allow her to do different attachment so
-
she can learn some skills to prepare her for the world.
-
If not, I have to pull out and maybe send
-
it to a vocational classes. So imagine, So I ready
-
heard about the thing I just poked at. The teachers
-
do not know a single thing about anything, and all
-
just say yes, we would help, yes we would extend,
-
or well, we'll do our best to make sure that
-
she feels so welcome, so love and able to pick
-
up a skill lo and behold first, I really don't
-
know what I was saying yes to because the day
-
she came and now my team exhausted every avenue taught
-
her how to see flower, how to big cookies, how
-
to clean the table. She was cutting cherry. She took
-
about thirty minutes to cut one cherry. Okay, And so
-
I didn't know what I was seating myself out for.
-
And I say yes, after my team say we have
-
done everything we did. This week is your turn? This
-
week is your turn to teach her. I just thought, okay,
-
two hours today, how hard could it be? Right, It's
-
only two hours, you know, time with just five past,
-
so quickly, friends, I want to let you know. After
-
the two hours, I told my team I'm a sabbatica.
-
I'm a sabbatica for one month. Okay, because really, I said,
-
I give up everything for two hours. And I just
-
told my My team was laughing at me, because you
-
know they all know me. Me and fifteen sixteen. I
-
really don't know how to communicate with them. I can
-
relate a bit more the capacitm, but with teenagers of
-
the age or so challenging.
-
I went like, hello you, okay, is it too difficult?
-
Too hard?
-
And my team members all laughing the at one corner there,
-
look at elder. He's becoming so friendly After a while, right.
-
And the thing here is is that I'm not sure
-
how many of us when you look at this situation,
-
go like no, I mean it's like my time is
-
for something else. So my team, I'm she's coming back
-
next year. You want to teach how to make coffee? You?
-
I just keep saying that it's a lot hot water here,
-
very dangerous, a lot hot water here, very dangerous. I'm
-
sharing this you, you're because many times when we look
-
at that, simon, we keep saying like, no, not me,
-
maybe someone else.
-
You know, who is this girl of people called campus student? Right?
-
Who are this girl of people called campus is always
-
sending your time? When I was asked to be so yes,
-
yesterday I think yesterday or the day before that, a
-
group of the elder group of leaders will asked to
-
be on the panel for a boy girl relationship. The
-
tighter was this the Lulu versus discermon after asks if
-
to ask a committee was the lulu?
-
What on earth is the Lulu?
-
Oh?
-
There is?
-
I thought it was the ice cream red or something
-
like that, right, And they explained to me that I was
-
looking through the question and there was an acrinica.
-
I think it's short form is s O S as
-
the slash.
-
Oh. I was like, what what is this short firm?
-
You don't know, man, It's called significant other.
-
Friends. I'm telling you I felt.
-
So our place, so our place, red ministry, the campus student.
-
But I do not know why I say yes to
-
the assignment. Yes, I remember when we when when our
-
campus pastor graduated and past character asked me, could you
-
step in it as an interim campus pastor for a
-
short season, short season of the church. Probably look for
-
the next one, friends, I told past this pastor. One
-
look for my face. Half of them do not want
-
to join campus ministry. One look from my face. They
-
would run to another passer's arms.
-
All right.
-
And say no, I believe right now God has caught
-
you for the assignment and stuff like that.
-
So I say yes. I say yes.
-
But I did not know what I was setting myself
-
up in two because I get caught at eleven thirty PM, elder.
-
Are you free to meet up? Are you free to
-
meet up?
-
I got something urgent to tell you in level today,
-
I was saying insurance. Back then, this person was happened
-
to stay right smack a bookie bin talk area.
-
In Level the DPM.
-
I read like, okay, Betther, I told my wife should
-
I go before that?
-
Should I even as the call.
-
Because you say yes, the siment is yes correct in lowered,
-
that they come on a level that it is the
-
best of their attitudes. You know, back then, right, I
-
wish I've turned out my phone into this mode. But anyway,
-
I went there when they met up with his brother,
-
talking talking, talking, and you know, after thirty minutes of conversation,
-
it's not going anywhere. You know there is a problem,
-
but do not know how to share. Come on, cap
-
so there is a problem, but you do not know
-
how to share. So you're taking one food journey. I'm
-
sitting in front of him. I'm so tired. I'm abusing
-
my body with sugar from Tatar ray.
-
I'm looking any better.
-
I do not know why, because you say yes, sir,
-
holish empower you, and I just look at him. I say, Brett,
-
please don't tell me you got someone pregnant. Please do
-
not tell me you got someone pregnant. He got shot.
-
I saw opened up.
-
How the hell you know? The how do you know?
-
Oh?
-
Then this thing happened and like m and were like God, why.
-
I didn't want not because it's all just what I
-
was like, I'll pray for you.
-
And that's it. Then you you know what I mean.
-
It's not you.
-
I'm my mind saying that you have to marry the girl. Okay,
-
please don't tell me you want to do abortion? Whatever
-
the is? Okay, I don't. I don't have I don't
-
have enough energy conversation from the mama table. We went
-
to our car because he started crying, right you have
-
because in front Mama had to had to cry that
-
a man had to cry. He started crying such a
-
char see what do you want to do? What do
-
you want to do? I think I'll have to marry
-
the girl. I say, okay, great cry and this stuff
-
like that. They ended ended, you know, ended was hugging
-
each other in the car because I was trying to
-
console him, trying to like encourage him, so hugging him.
-
I'm praying. I'm praying that no policeman with a tosh
-
sight will shine in, will shine into the car and
-
just say, why do two guys do it here? What's
-
big size the other guys? The other guy is skiddy?
-
And what's crying?
-
What is like?
-
I want you to know the image. I'm like, of course,
-
when you say yes to God. Come on, when you
-
say yes to him, he opens that door, the assignment door,
-
which sometimes maybe be out of your comfort zone, out
-
of your comfort zone, and you go like, what did
-
I say yes to? And maybe because we had the
-
bad experience that's why we hold back. Maybe because we
-
we didn't we didn't, we didn't like what we experienced,
-
we didn't enjoy the moment, we didn't enjoy the ride,
-
and therefore we keep saying maybe not Mila, this is
-
for the young people.
-
Maybe someone else will answer. Is that easy? So we
-
have to sit down with the campus team, look through
-
the budget.
-
Friends, campus suits are very good with planning, excitement, planning
-
the atmost, I said, how you're going to finance this
-
campus conference?
-
Outthough we're charging them eighty ringit? Oh good?
-
So as an adult, when you look to the budget,
-
you forgot the factor in transport. Oh maybe they can
-
pay their own I say, you want people to pay
-
for a conference fee, and I'm saying to pay for
-
their own transport?
-
Uh uh.
-
God will provide temper student way where they do not
-
know the ansiy thing. God will provide. God will come
-
to one I said, brother, you know, go that way
-
went all right? What about dinner? Uh, they can look
-
for their own dinner. God will provide dinner for them.
-
I say, brother, I tell you what. Let's let's let's
-
re look at the budget. The church will cover. The
-
church will cover, We will find it. There they were
-
the definite about six thousand ring it. I just want
-
you to know that we went to sit down way there.
-
I say, we'll cover it. And sure enough, when the
-
dinner came, it was buffet. The team was just texting
-
each other. You know what when the chempus do so,
-
it was buffree, right, they scream, They scream, finally got
-
hurt out cry we can go for a second round
-
about sure friends, what have your experienced been so far?
-
When you keep saying yes to God? And maybe it
-
wasn't good. Maybe you felt like take it for a right.
-
Maybe you go like like it's always you like that
-
by pray this money, you open your heart. So the
-
Bible Metal chapter nineteen was sixteen. Let me it read
-
for me. See we're gonna Mattew Chapter nineteen was sixteen.
-
Next night, now behold, one came and said to him,
-
good teacher, what good teacher, I do that I may
-
inherit eternal life Verse seventeen. So he said to him,
-
why do you call me good? No one is good
-
but the one that is God. Only God is good.
-
But if you want to enter into life hip the
-
commandments of course, he being young, which one you just say?
-
Do not murder, do not commit a doubt tree, do
-
not steal, shall not bad false witness. Honor your father
-
and your mother, and you and you shall love your
-
neighbor as yourself. And the young man said, all the
-
things I've kept from youth, what do I still like?
-
What do I still like? I kept all this? Lord,
-
I've been serving Lord, I've been doing everything you asked
-
me to. But what do I still like? And? Friends,
-
God will always put a light in our life to
-
search out for him. God will always create a space
-
in your heart so that you will search for Him,
-
so that you would engage sheep, so that you be asked.
-
You can't ask him God, I kept all this, You
-
know what do I still like? I kept all this?
-
What do I I was? What am I misic out on?
-
In my years of doing campus work? Friends, I remember
-
one time whereby we had to organize uh a sort
-
of a gathering drink and the one point in time, friends,
-
we were we thought that because you know we're action,
-
people will come. So we set up buses one point
-
in time to let you know. And there was a
-
point in time. Our transportation per month hiring buses was
-
about eleven thousand ringits. We said about eleven to twelve
-
buses to different universes to pick students up. Well, how
-
many of you know, friends even sending the buses out friends,
-
somethings could be I would say discouraging because there was
-
one bus that we sent the university Patania, Malaysia. You
-
pm only four sitter bus only very back one student.
-
Ferry back one student.
-
Friends, I'm not sure as a leader, your men of
-
faith in front in front of the bus that we're
-
coming anyone else, anyone else. The bus driver was laughing
-
at the student. So the students you can go at
-
the bed and sleep. Okay, if you don't like this,
-
check a change any check. There's for the four chance
-
here for you to change too. I'm not sure, friends,
-
because many times you we we tend to keep the commandments,
-
but then afterwards, when when something happens, go like hey,
-
what do I do wrong?
-
I thought I served the lot. Friends, I thought I
-
served the lot.
-
But yet God put you in a place whereby this
-
coouragement comes in.
-
So what do you still like?
-
And this is what Jesus said, If you want to
-
be perfect next, if you want to be perfect, If
-
you want to be perfect, go sell all you have
-
and give the poor, and you have treasure in heaven.
-
Come and follow me. If you want to be perfect.
-
Go give, come follow, Go give, come, follow, follow me.
-
At the end of the day, Jesus is encouraging the
-
young man, come follow me, Come follow me for an adventure.
-
And this is what the young man said.
-
When the young man heard the saying, went away sorrowful
-
or he had great possession.
-
He went away.
-
Because he's thinking that Jesus was all after his possession.
-
Help me if you know that it was not just
-
the young man who went away sorrowful. I truly believe
-
that Jesus looked at the young young man's life and
-
just say that so much potential, you know, as being
-
the leader for the church for some time. Ready, when
-
we talk to campus student, we know everyone got such
-
an amazing potential. Amazing potential. Every one of them. But
-
yet at the same time, with so much potential, the
-
enemy also knows. Enemy knows as well. And that's why
-
discursion will come. Relationship that's not honoring will come. Different
-
things to come to Your life will rob, the future
-
will rob, the joy will rob their destiny. I truly
-
believed not only the young men ran away saw who
-
but Jesus looked at a life of potential life and
-
just say, come on, come on, come on. Then this
-
is what Jesus said to the disciples. Surely I said
-
to you, it's hard for Richmond to enter the Kingdom
-
of Heaven. And again I say to you, it's easier
-
for camera to go to the eye of the Needer
-
than for Richmond to enter the Kingdom of God. When
-
his disciples heard it, they were really astonished, saying, who
-
then can be saved? Just like James said, just now,
-
Jesus came to the savior of the world to appreciate
-
good news worse twenty six. But Jesus look at them,
-
saying to them, with man, this is impossible, but we've
-
got all things are possible. And someone say amen. Number one.
-
When it comes to the things of God, the focus
-
of our conversations should be about Him and not about us.
-
Come on, when it comes to the things of God. Friends,
-
when it comes to about the things of God, the
-
focus of our conversation should be about Him and not us,
-
because many times our conversation reveals really what in our
-
hearts we talk about. Let's say, for example, conference or
-
events and stuff like that. After the world, friends, is
-
no longer about God in the event anymore. It's about
-
the event itself. We spend a lot of time talking
-
about the games rather than the encounter. You know what,
-
if you're trying the water war, friends, who know many
-
teas who sign up one you try the water wall,
-
you try the water games? Are many teas who sign
-
because they love water. Water and teas are best friends.
-
Where's where is the composition about God? About the encounter
-
with God? Because when something happens in their life rest
-
they ain't gonna take a batter water and they say
-
save me, save me. Because our conversation reviews, Friends, what
-
are we focusing on that we reached out with the
-
conversation with Jesus was all about him and what he
-
could better fit from Jesus, why he could benefit from Jesus.
-
Have you ever got to a place whereby you ask
-
yourself like what benefits me? And sometimes the modern day
-
church before on this trap hatred. For every possible scenario.
-
We create timing so that people could come. We make
-
sure the eircons of a certain temperatures so it's comfortable,
-
and different things we create so that it's a good experience,
-
which is all right, which is good, But we shouldn't
-
replace that, replace that, because after all, we come to
-
church because we want God's presence more than anything else, right,
-
more than anything else. Because the rich young ruler was
-
focusing upon this God, Jesus, what must I do to
-
inherit eternal life?
-
What can these do for me?
-
And you go up to Pasadaniel and you say, what
-
can you do for me? What can you do for me?
-
After a while you go, you go the differentias, what
-
can you do for me? And after all, friends, if
-
you notice, if you notice that we we we we
-
go from one thing to another day because we want
-
to benefit more.
-
They want gift, and Jesus.
-
Always encourages us to focus.
-
In on him.
-
It says the danger of making decisions only based on
-
what you can benefit is that we can drive away
-
from our destiny. We can't because we change. We change things,
-
occupation and everything like that because of what we benefit.
-
There was a there was a young kay that came
-
up to me and just say, Elder, I'm thinking of
-
working in Singapore. I say, oh great, good, I said,
-
then I have to bring in in God. I say,
-
what did What did God have to say about your employment?
-
Because you God can call you anywhere. Friends to you
-
understand that God can call you anywhere. It has to
-
be God that calls you in for the employment. It
-
must be God that calls you in for the occupation,
-
not just because they say three times sold. Then you
-
go there and you and you stop serving in church,
-
stop going to church. We have seen many are working adults, friends,
-
many many young working adults. They actually take up employment,
-
but forsake God, leaders, they actually take up employment but
-
for seeking God.
-
Don't even want to come to church anymore.
-
One of the sad story I've heard is that one
-
guy came, used to come to our church, but stop coming,
-
stop believing, stop believing, stop coming, not even another just
-
stop believing. Stop coming because of employment because other gods
-
can give him more.
-
And what are we really after?
-
You know, there's a character the Bible called Lord in
-
Genesis chapter thirteen, verse ten to thirteen. And Lord lifted
-
up his eyes and saw the place of Jordan. It
-
was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the Lord
-
and the land of Egypt. We should go out of
-
the Zord. And Lord chose for himself the place of Jordan.
-
Lord journey is they separated from each other. Abram did
-
the land of Canaan, and Lord in the cities in
-
the plane and pitches ten even as far as saw them.
-
But the man of so there was exceedingly wicked, see
-
ful against the Lord. Here's the situation, friends, Lord chose
-
for himself, no prayer, no seeking the Lord.
-
And that's what happens.
-
Friends, if we choose for ourself, we always choose the
-
best one. We will always choose what suits our physical needs,
-
what suits our eyes. You know, when we first move
-
in this place, I'm telling me, or may not know,
-
we be in this building for almost two and a
-
half years, two and a half years in this building,
-
two and a half years, so two and a half
-
years of this whole journey of legacy and stuff like that.
-
Pastor came in here, you know, way past. The dream
-
is not a normal dream. It's not like you just
-
put the chairs out here. Maybe can build bleachers. I'm like, okay, pasta,
-
we can We can do anything in Christ, who strengthens me, right,
-
maybe we can do it. I'm like looking at the
-
ceiling and we're like, okay, this is really high because
-
I could imagine if any light seer needs to be replaced.
-
It's not as simple. Right, you need scaffolding. We should
-
be in fact, we have all right, So all these friends,
-
all these, all these all these right may not be
-
the most perfect and ideal place because it's a lot
-
to do.
-
A lot.
-
If given your us, we rather choose something that's already
-
already now, then have you do.
-
Something from scratch.
-
A few months ago we met up with a property
-
developer looking at the particular place of rent and stuff
-
like that. He was showing uslf He's a place, you know,
-
if you want to do something right, you can build
-
something in front of in front of a lake. In
-
front of a lake, there's a huge park there. You
-
can do something all fantastic. I did to pass the
-
paid Wow, this is a very nice place. You know,
-
you know, if I was if our staff moved in
-
here and guarantee they love it. They love coming to
-
work every day because afterwork they can run around at
-
the park, can fit the darks right, and stuff like that.
-
When you call them there, they're not in the office,
-
the outside at the ministry, or sleeping under the tree
-
somewhere walking outside. It's just stuff like that. I say,
-
possibly be perfect. And we were deliberating, you know, thinking
-
about it. The more we thought about it, the more
-
uncomfortable we got. The more we thought about it, the
-
more uncomfortable we got. Because although the place was beautiful,
-
very nice, very central and suman jaya and say that
-
it's not a colic. God has now ask us to
-
occupy a beautiful place. God is always God has always
-
asked us to turn things around, turn things around. That's
-
the story of Christ, turning lies around, turning lies around.
-
Life is not perfect, but turning around for the glory
-
of God. That's what.
-
That's the reason why we occupy something because something is
-
not here one shopping more, you know, but we turn
-
it around because this is our God. So we told
-
the person they say, don't think solar. As much as
-
we want to say, yes, but I don't think we'll
-
go down the path, but it's still.
-
A nice lace. We just see how the lot leads
-
by the moment is a no.
-
I think many times if we choose things for ourselves,
-
what happened is this that we'll miss out on the
-
destiny next light like the oh and soon when we
-
focus on ourselves, we close the door, stopping us from expiency.
-
More of him, close the door first, close the door
-
FORX say more of him, close the door, friends, and
-
he need us to become more like Christ.
-
Why do I say that?
-
Is because you know when luck calls you to serve
-
for example, right, I'm not here to solely see you
-
to serf. I'm just sharing my own personal experience and
-
more journey passa. Daniel did not ask me to speak
-
to your Please do to excot too commoning. Okay, get
-
everybody saf No, he did not tell me. He didn't
-
ask me to say that to you. The moment we
-
start serving. For example, you would need to work with people.
-
Work with people, right, Working with people may not be
-
the most pleasant experience, even in church.
-
And we say this, can we all agree? Yes?
-
Hallelujah. Press The author is going to be opened afterwards
-
for healing. Or prayer for you know, quere consolation, bitterness
-
be gone in Jesus name. Anyway, So what happened is
-
this that when the moment we say yes, the moment
-
we say yes, fiction happened. Frictional fiction happened. Disagreement happened.
-
Why we chose for ourselves? I've rather not I read
-
a white I rather a white I rather a white serving,
-
so that I don't have to be in a place
-
of fiction. We close the door for discipleship number one.
-
We close the door to learn to what it means
-
to one another.
-
We close the door.
-
Friends of a break show in the old spirit, because
-
you keep choosing for ourselves. Don't serve in campus ministry
-
because temper students are constantly poor and you have to
-
buy them lunch afterwards.
-
That was what told to me, And it's quite true.
-
A friends.
-
Don't serve them, you have to send them back after church.
-
They're always going to be in your house. It is true.
-
Pu'ster, David and ex London friends the hub over there
-
after ch come out after Chilter is the best time
-
to sleep crying not right right, but the campus students.
-
But we will come to the hub. We will hang
-
out there and that was a place of refuge. There's
-
a place of the red day. They get refreshed and past.
-
The cat got the choice about to lock herself in
-
the room. There's earlier days of church, but now they're
-
much better. Little and people could you imagine right now
-
after after the service, right and the campus will say hey,
-
we crash at your at your house, you go like, okay, hell,
-
we need to really ten, We needs really time to
-
go home. Okay, And you try to give signal. Ah,
-
you try to give signal like what time?
-
Really? Oh two forty really a long day, a long day.
-
Woke up for the first service and the kembo sooner
-
go like, yes, be the long day?
-
Yep, quite anyway after this one to play game or not?
-
Right? Come on, don't you feel stretch? Don't you feel like,
-
let's see, I don't do it anymore. I'm not saying
-
this forever there's going to be like that. No, for
-
every every Sundays could be like that. No, but the
-
one day that you say yes to God opens up
-
the door.
-
You go like I cannot take it.
-
Did you know the elder terrace and neighbor, you know
-
they are in their sixty sixty four, sixty five.
-
They open up their homes for teens. One time.
-
Teens one time, I think the teen's the great Rachel
-
rachel Or one night at the home, I think, Johnson,
-
you open up your homos are right.
-
Friends, I'm not that brave. I want you to know that.
-
As much a I'm younger to be younger than that,
-
I'm not that brave.
-
I told my wife, if they do come in, I'm
-
going to sleep immediately. You have to entertain them oput
-
out the home. I look at old terrants, no elder terrants.
-
Friends.
-
He was born in the era whereby his only reference
-
to music was in the sixties and seventies. Sixties and
-
seventies reference to music. Anything after that, he says, no
-
longer music. Could you imagine him talking to a teen.
-
His daughters are all grown up ready, but he tried
-
impress them with what he knows.
-
They love it.
-
They say they want to come back, and they say enough.
-
He must increase an eye decrease. The Bible says God
-
has to be first in all that we do, so
-
then we can express all of him. Come on, God
-
has to be first in all we do, so we
-
can experience all of him next night, the next night. Yes,
-
it has to be first. It's all we do to
-
make experience all of Him. We say that we want
-
to experience God, but we keep saying no how to
-
experience him. So some of you know that we recently
-
went the quarter Baro right to the barrel. Recently you
-
saw passes Facebook. I need assume that majority of the
-
excoto comning people for the passes Facebook anyway on the
-
journey there, before the journey, before the journey right, make
-
sure the cow was in the good cold condition, everything
-
like that.
-
So I was the main driver. I drove all the
-
way there. It took us about We.
-
Left ut come morning about five forty five am. We
-
got to Quotabaro about four thirty pm because the copbo
-
the halfway two hours anyway. Anyway, it broke out the
-
place between Gua Musam and qutter Baro. We are about
-
like half an hour to forty five minutes to Quotabaro
-
in the middle of nowhere. I felt so discouraged, really discouraged, God.
-
Why we do your assignment this car break down, that
-
break out another time in thank really or something like
-
that easier in the middle of nowhere, no open plantation whatsoever.
-
It's not even houses. No, there's no house nothing at all.
-
It's in the middle of nowhere. I've read. I went
-
my heart, my heart sang, sang, because I got like,
-
if if it was yourself, it's okay when you've got
-
a passenger. And of all time it broke down. It
-
was twelve ten in the afternoon half then in the afternoon,
-
in the in the blazing sun, I was there, opening
-
up the whole. I got like, why revival requires faive? Next,
-
like revival requires faith, and you're there on the faith assignment.
-
Thank god passed the very good research. There's a bookshop
-
just just hang on meters away.
-
Sure enough, the workshop was there, all right.
-
We've got everything done up by a miraculous price of
-
SETI firing it right. And if I it in the
-
middle of nowhere, literally, I tell you how nowhere it
-
is okay. The only the only other shop that's opened
-
was another hardware shop, and.
-
But nest.
-
Office on top. That's it anyway. I remember just looking
-
at them, looking at the engine. I'm going like, of
-
all times better, why you break down this time? Why
-
I drove? I've driven you for the longest time, but
-
why now? And just passing Canada had to say this,
-
this this statement. Yep, God did not send you out
-
on an assignment to fail. God did not send you
-
out on an assignment to fail you. I want you to
-
know that God did not send you out. You're you're
-
you're almost there, almost there. And every assignment requires come on, faith,
-
Every assignment requires faith. This faith is not just faith
-
in the Son of God, but faith that believes that
-
you know, God will come true for you. I remember
-
going in there like, oh, you know you heard stories
-
before you you can imagine the worst of the worst.
-
You're there from from Tildlon all the way until like
-
six pm. No parts, God came true. But I want
-
to let you know the other part of the storage
-
pass a Facebook. I got back to We got back cleverly, safe,
-
came back, gave me left, got at two pm, right
-
back here at eleven to t right the tannel that
-
to to Tannel Lane became one bucketing you all the
-
way to the tunnel. Got the car checked out, I said,
-
I want I want everybody the host to be replaced,
-
because I cannot afford, cannot afford, cannot afford for another
-
trip to go out come break down somewhere.
-
You understand what we understand.
-
You rather just pay the price anyway, So the people
-
removed that the replacing better, you can make it better.
-
See why.
-
One there's one more particular host crack ready, there's one
-
more host that was cracked. In other words, when it's
-
cracked right, first, what the pressure? No more water sipping out? Right?
-
So your engine, your engine will come hot. And there
-
was a traffic jam going up he will get going
-
up here. Ah like that, But the grace of God
-
be coming back here truly the lordler I saw the crack.
-
So I don't think we have confidence. If I knew
-
there was a cracker, I would not take the car.
-
If you come on, isn't it true if you knew
-
there was something wrong with the car? You want to
-
keep right? But we all travel by faith. We all
-
really like we beat and I looked back and look
-
back into the thing right, friends, this is the Lord Reviver.
-
Requires faith? Come on? When was the last time? Next night?
-
When was the last time? If we push the things
-
of God? Have we been pushing the things of God
-
without faith?
-
Come on?
-
Serving requires faith, giving, requirest faith on the journey for
-
missus requires faith. But many times what happens our faith
-
journey is only only like, uh, I'll pray for you.
-
By there, I'll pray for you. I shared this with
-
the earlier survey. So my wife lists a mandrid service community.
-
It's not the easiest to reach because a lot of distractions,
-
a lot of different things. But they weren't growing. The
-
church was not growing. The church was not great. The
-
church was not growing. They were tagnant with it. The
-
defy to forty people for the longest time right in fact,
-
one by one started living.
-
Wasn't great. Pass said down with her.
-
I was in the conversation, say something must happen, because
-
as a believer, we say me a faith something my
-
chief friends. The moment we are stuck, our friends in
-
your journey, in your in your in your journey, God
-
was to show you something, review something to you, and
-
pass just say this to her.
-
It's expanding.
-
A campus friendly church, not asking us to change the
-
way we dress. Forget about the shirt, the tie, go
-
color hem although my wife study has got no hair,
-
sometuff like that. No, the sound, not the lights, But
-
are you a campus friendly church? They meet on campus.
-
Taylor's college right, very nice place on top of their campus.
-
To there about twenty four thousands campus students. Oh for me,
-
I think seven thousand on campus. Not a single one
-
of them came to church. So, you know, friends, when
-
you're a challenger, there's two responds to the Either you
-
give up too hard to difficult.
-
Keep saying no.
-
Always say Lord, thank you so much for this challenge.
-
Right now, I will seek your face. I will seek
-
your face. Come on, have we been approaching the things
-
of God without faith? So the team the X me
-
and your team decide to take up the challenge ship
-
pass will pray.
-
Ask God.
-
So they started changing the way they run church, meaning
-
they say that we've got to pray a bit longer
-
in the morning, ask God for ideas. God, pray for
-
students here go to remember, call them out, say God,
-
they're here right now, right above us. They will come
-
to church. There was three weeks during the twenty one
-
days they started praying. They got this initiative maybe maybe
-
we would write Christian scripture and asked them to come
-
to church and put it in some kind of like
-
contraption and put it at the foot court. About sixty
-
to I think about hungry, and twenty were not already
-
and people are just taking it.
-
And sure it our friends. Two students came.
-
One halfway during the service just wanted to come to church,
-
and another person the parents, came to the church a
-
week later.
-
Another student came. First.
-
I want to let you know, friends, you cannot do
-
the things of God without faith.
-
You can't.
-
It is spirit. Sure it is. The Next time you're
-
stuck in your journey, first ask yourself this. First, ask
-
yourself this. When was the last time you exercise faith?
-
When was the last time you exercise faith? He Wills
-
elevel Worth six says that without faith, Come on, is
-
it possible to please him? For he who comes to
-
God must believe. Come on, you must believe, friends, that
-
he is. He's a reward for those who diligiently sick him.
-
When we come before God, we need to believe that
-
he is. We need to friends, We need to So
-
let me I share this for at this morning service.
-
I'm gonna share this here the second service. So two
-
and a half years of journey with Legacy, we started
-
applying for license back then, really licens that so to
-
be here you need MPKL. You know that these magic
-
Kala langan right. Cold is very different from MPSG, very different.
-
MPHG is rare, very corporate. You must take a number,
-
you must queue up. It's huge, right, very different. You
-
go in there first difference, don't need to pay for parking,
-
emper packing. You go up to the office to appay
-
for the license. The button to apply for license you
-
can you need to remove shoe Seela tang right, and
-
don't need to take Q number. Yeah, there is really
-
any table that's empty place the officer will attend to you.
-
My first meeting there, my first meeting their friends, I
-
brought five people with me, ah the mess around. Five
-
were grade to show them we got strength, frighten them
-
a bit, they got shot.
-
Can I put you both? Why do you be so
-
many people here?
-
To do?
-
To apply for one license? For all these people? Oh stuff?
-
Megan was one of them, you know mega those power
-
very agree with what was with me? What's good?
-
Because you know I asked you dressing though, but the
-
old but the RTM like the RTM news Castle at
-
the butty it looks like that. Like that, I say,
-
you can't be dressing the butty. Okay, I was dressed
-
like that okay, so you show that I got I
-
got back in here. So I went to apply first,
-
first time applied, got rejected from not complete, from not complete.
-
Documents are complete if I first time, okay, we don't
-
get all this credit the first go give the second
-
time from complete document was not complete. I said that
-
I came this my second time. I did what you
-
asked me to do. Now min how the third time?
-
Now you must say did third time?
-
Media? So the form has you need to change a
-
b really firm needs to change.
-
Too many mistakes already documents not complete, whether honestly you
-
if you if you read first content contents that love
-
his patient, of his kind of friends, all of out
-
the window, all of an out of the window, because
-
you know what it is frustrating. Hey, I came and
-
approached you. You told me document A, you brought document A.
-
You did tell me you want to document me. If not,
-
take it for you, right, some of you understand. So anyway,
-
I say, now, my let me buy the phone, let
-
me believe the form. Okay, Now can.
-
I sell to you?
-
I say why counter byron to counter buyer, I say,
-
it's four o'clock. I'm sitting in front of you must
-
be open right, I'm sorry, sir. Our department closes at
-
for the tea. The paper closed at fall. Come on,
-
be honest here, Christians at the very moment, are you
-
looking for scriptures? They say lost by avenger? Isn't it true?
-
You're looking at you look at scriptures? They say lords
-
arrange you and stuff like that. You look at You
-
got no choice as a Christian because if they followed
-
you are a church. If you're if you show any
-
like oh see this pleasure right, you're not representing Christ
-
and you know, expot to commany pussy, then you will
-
get a lot of visitation from them. So I went, okay,
-
so much money? Try to download online online this dagh.
-
So I literally went online to search for the form.
-
They say download here. I went the download, No for one,
-
No for the download anyway I searched as found it
-
pages two and the two is the more about it
-
is the instruction, the actual one you need to write
-
the details is not there.
-
So I look at her.
-
You mean I have to drive all the way from
-
Suba super enough, I've been there so many times Radia
-
Subuan to Bunting is about one hour?
-
You mean? I so I have to put on my face.
-
I had to put at the most saidest face.
-
I could you mean I have to drive all the
-
way here that the sub banker bunting yaho, no car yao,
-
very far, very far.
-
One hour's drive just to buy the form.
-
Just to buy the form and go back to suba
-
there another hour, two hours so that my director can sign.
-
Then come back to the hour I said, I said,
-
Singapore already. By then I can go to Singapore already
-
three hours come in to submit the form to you know,
-
it's very far. Three hours. You thought she d have compassion.
-
She listened to you put things and stuff like that. Right, No,
-
come back tomorrow, just by the film me and pass it.
-
And we left the place. We were like, we do
-
not know what to say. We left the place about
-
four fifteen. Worse steal friends, it started raining, worse steal
-
traffic jam one. I told you one hour write because
-
we live a four fifteen to get back to submit.
-
Two hours you are they're just driving your friends asking
-
yourself like, God, I have faith?
-
Why are you doing this to be number one? Got?
-
I have faith?
-
Like? Where is there so many obstacles? Well, we must
-
understand how God works on friends, he gets the glory
-
at the end.
-
Of the day.
-
Anyway, I bought the I bought the farm. I went
-
back a couple of times, stuff like that. I thought,
-
this time I'll be God on my site because I
-
feel all the form already for all the firm, all
-
the documents ever wanted.
-
I went the six times. You know, friends, six times?
-
Now be right?
-
The seven times number perfect, man, sir, form not complete.
-
Documents are complete. Cuban is not complete. Friends, say, what
-
what other document you want? Where is the CF for
-
the whole building? You asked the developer? Why ask me?
-
I say that I give you the CF for the
-
for this lot. The Redeemer go right, because that's what
-
your the other officer wanted. No, I want the whole
-
building CF. I'm like a callow you bully CF this lot.
-
I'm sure the whole building or CFO. No, I need
-
to see the whole CF. I look at her. You're
-
the only officer that asked of it. I saw six
-
other officers. Really, they asked why are you? But you
-
asked the right now? Anyway, called called the leasing people.
-
They sent it to me right straight to her. Okay,
-
this is why I want this is why I wanna
-
or bully, printer, can you punt out the can you
-
punt out the document.
-
For being not? I say, sit at the printer, bully,
-
can I can?
-
I can? I can?
-
I send this from to you?
-
I see the print the bully, ye come on, come
-
on some of us here. You know that you said
-
you're a bolly like like I want to print talks
-
in front about the frighten her ready as well, always
-
the newest printer just five minutes outside just to pretty
-
much shit of paper when there's a everything. Sir, you
-
have the actual tendency with you, not the new Tennessee.
-
I say, is the lawyers. I have to explain it
-
to seven time? Every seven time the I say, the
-
officer say, okay, but no problem. If we'll give a
-
temporate license right when you're Tennessee is all side and
-
stem ready will give you the full license to a
-
problem explain seven times? So you need to, bully, I
-
say the other guys it can the guy who can
-
look at me? I don't know, did I see it?
-
Have I met you before the kind of look like okay, okay,
-
I said, up with the officer. Another officers say yes
-
you're in because you know, not full license. I tell
-
how God move?
-
Okay.
-
When I went into the office and very dear, there
-
was a guy that came up to me. He asked
-
me a question. I couldn't answer properly because I was like, so,
-
you know when you go there seven time, you just
-
want to get a license to go out? Right?
-
Yes, say what license do you want? I could ask,
-
I just want license and just give me a license.
-
What what kind of license do you want?
-
Uh?
-
Any license you just give to me, I'll be happy.
-
He was very jovial, very nice to me, and explain
-
to me, you look at my form I'll give you.
-
I'll give you.
-
I'll give you a walk that a training license because
-
you have all trainingay fantasy, whyever license a gay training
-
because you're training center. Anyway, Later I found out that
-
he is a pagaway. I need that has a financy,
-
he say. He looked at me. I'll tell you what
-
I'm going to give a temporaizusre right now, because I
-
know you came a lot of times. Really, but when
-
you have your full tendency right, please come come back
-
to me. I'll give you one your license. I wan't
-
to let you know God is in control because of
-
the process of seven times going to them are friends.
-
I know almost every pagaway there every day. It's okay,
-
I know almost every one of them. First revival requires
-
if he who comes to God must believe that he is.
-
Come on, he is a rewarded for those who diligedly sick.
-
Kim Pasta and I we'll be texting each other before
-
they say that, Yeah, let's pray for this license we
-
release release, release in a credit time. We're praying release, release,
-
and sure enough the time we have the temporaizes. Next
-
going to go to show the tendency agreement hopefully no more,
-
no more other about bonding it. Yes, how I'm going
-
to end, and this part the final thing. So therefore
-
what's holding you back? But the last point, what's really
-
holding you back? You know, because I believe it's so
-
strong friends that the enemy wants to discourage you, and
-
you go the sixth time rereadly you know, six time,
-
six time, one hour, six hours. You can go to
-
Singapore and come back, right, can discourage you, can discourage you.
-
Sometimes you're believe us, believe us interest can discourage you.
-
Why sir, don't need just your faith is important. Really,
-
it's if you think you and God right. I don't know,
-
maybe you don't like the preacher today, right and maybe
-
step on your toes or something that maybe you felt targeted.
-
Don't go.
-
It happens to friends want let you know that passic
-
enough right even though it's preaching on preaching for conference.
-
Uh.
-
Anyway, they there was a command that came in your
-
senior past your your founding pastor is not preaching the
-
right theology, not preaching the right theology. So I said,
-
who's this person? Who's this person? Because what the prayers?
-
Who is this person?
-
Don't even come to church? Seriously?
-
Someone out said, don't even come to church because there's
-
nothing wrong with the theology. If you know, a past
-
side is always asking us to depend more on God.
-
I say, there's nothing wrong with the theology. But the
-
question is a wise she.
-
So a demon to change?
-
As to change where you don't even serve the Lord.
-
We have a lot of keyboard warriors, and I'm not
-
saying you are, but shave you. We can become discouraged
-
because of that. Come on, someone just commented or today
-
you see thing very well, maybe you open up your
-
homes and after homes, friends, a lot of hair on
-
the floor. If if I go to your homestreands, I
-
can't guarantee you it's not me. All right, it's not me.
-
But you saw the floor like oh sup messy, sup messy?
-
Then you o put up the toddlet door like yellow
-
stings over like, oh my world, this guy need to
-
come off for all the has got to help them
-
to improperly. It's true. I've been to one home, so
-
I'm serious, this true story. Wasn't the big business now
-
flush and went in there to use I went like,
-
homes are still happen. I look at the person like
-
who was the last on? Who wre the last? And
-
though it could be dead first and you're the home
-
as a homeowner go like, what's the point? You keep
-
telling them they don't want to change? You keep telling
-
them you don't know they don't want to change. It
-
becomes discouraged and become like killer.
-
I'd rather than not believeing. It's so powerful. It is
-
when you believe all things are possible.
-
But you stop believing friends, when you don't believe in homes,
-
they so you don't go to homes anymore. But we
-
don't believe in the church. You stop going to church.
-
You don't believe in your assignment, you stop doing the assignment.
-
I took past passa the next last lap of our life.
-
Let's go all the way from Malaysia. All the way
-
from Malaysia. We're gonna make some trips up up north
-
to visit a pastor who's burn out. Who's burnout? I
-
want encourage sheep. We're gonna visit a place, a town
-
called Trono. Maybe it's someway from Toronto, but there's a
-
university there, right. So while I was driving away from Citiawan,
-
there's a youth leader, youth leader there in Torono that's
-
making weekly chips from Trono to Citiawan. Because Swan has
-
a navy base, a lot of is Malaysian. There is
-
Malaysian there, but no leader. So this leader takes upon
-
herself to travel to Sitaowan, travel to citia Wan to
-
encourage to pray with them is Malaysian. When another pass
-
of Analog heard about it, the pass says the passager said,
-
I will send teams on a money basis, trying to
-
help you to our best of ability, as like close
-
friends It may be inconvenient, it may be tough. It
-
may be one of those things whereby you go like, oh,
-
I'm too old for this. I'm too old for this.
-
First I can feel now fifty one, I do ask
-
my wife a question here I'm on the talk show.
-
Can I just wear this ship? Put me so? Uncle?
-
Cannot tolt me so ancle. I don't know why your
-
faces out now?
-
You want you want? You look so shocked. Ton't be so,
-
uncle cannot? I said, what are my uncle?
-
You just like uncle?
-
Can you just a bit more like this? Student can
-
be related? Bit, I see what you want? My shirt
-
is either white or black? One?
-
Okay that I thought I thought I thought you was.
-
A hip sh I go one from Zarah flower flower Flower, Okay, I.
-
Go on really flower one. I wear this sort do
-
that pedal Fowler.
-
She said that, She said she knows like one of those,
-
like one of those like what but you a someone
-
trying to say you like a fish out of water?
-
Letter you wear that you like you're trying to be hip,
-
trying to be in, but you're not. You're trying to
-
blend in, but you're sticking out like a sault time
-
like that it's hard. This is some of you understand that. Okay,
-
if those are your young ones, when you reach our
-
age a look back. I got the close friends, I
-
got the close believer. It is very powerful. But you
-
know what, the enemy also knows that. So being discouragement,
-
disagreement with one another, delay in your brick, though of
-
course you stop believing, delay your brick to with us,
-
remember and that it stops you. So what's really stopping
-
us is like closing my extra amount of stage. You know,
-
when we talk about the rich young ruler of friends,
-
I'm not applying. I'm not targeting rich people in expot
-
the company. No, you know what else can we be reaching?
-
We also can be reached in reasons why we cannot
-
always say cannot want You're so reaching that you know cannot, cannot, cannot,
-
cannot would you no, no, no, no no, we are
-
very rich in those reasons cannot. And because of that, friend,
-
you know what happens the door or put you off
-
for us to grow mature. Closes thoses are because it's norma.
-
Whereas God has a plan for you, has a plan
-
for you. That's why I say, if you want to
-
be perfect, if you want to be mature. Come follow me.
-
If I'm mature, come follow me. That's why the people
-
say yes to the Lord. Friends say yes to the Lord.
-
It's it's not as a smooth fery, but God breaches
-
you to a journey. It's not forever. Come on, it's
-
not forever.
-
I say it.
-
For my first or second mission trip, I got closed
-
with this story. Sorry, a lot of stories. When mission
-
trip to part one Philippines, so I let the team.
-
There got two campus students with me. Supposed to four
-
of us, but one person, a guy, got I think
-
a dangye or something there, so you couldn't come. So
-
I'm stuck with two campus girls. I'm the only a
-
doubt there. I went like, God, can we just can
-
ser this.
-
Just go on? Right?
-
So back then by jet we flew air Asia Asia,
-
So back then, friends, we did. We couldn't fly to
-
Manila because at the Asia they have fled Manila yet.
-
So we flew into this town call Clark City is
-
a US Navy base, and we have to take a
-
text sea at two to th in the morning to
-
Manila because our flight was first in the morning to Palawan.
-
I tell you why, but I think all the research
-
I thought it was okay by whatever. We got there.
-
It was one of those like you know wild Town,
-
really wild Town's okay. Got into the hotel room, I thought, okay,
-
like this hotel looks decent, but though and behold friends,
-
it was one of those most dodgers hotel I ever booked.
-
It is the most dodgeous hotel. The weabsite looks okay
-
and no friends.
-
It looks like I was sweitch lodged like that, friends,
-
But the rooms are different story altogether.
-
There was a huge mirror next to the bait. Yeah
-
leave it that.
-
So one of the kempers to the well, come next
-
to do they have such a big mirror next to
-
the bit on that? So I say, but you make
-
can see your face. I was there, friends, I'm like,
-
back of my mind, back of my mind, seriously better
-
my mind thinking that, God, I don't want to do this.
-
If you go, if you if you fly solo f
-
it's so much easier, quicker you can can. But if
-
anything happens girls under my watch, the hotel was so dodgy.
-
I we checked out at two thirteen in the morning.
-
Incomes the incomes a party. One guy with fogus. That's
-
how dodgy it is while we're on, while we're on,
-
or the TEXTI to Manila.
-
I didn't, I couldn't.
-
I didn't want to fall asleep because I do not
-
know where you might wear my Lena.
-
In the end.
-
Got to Pala on friends, got the flu to Pala
-
one min the street time and the passer over there, Yeah,
-
would you preach? Were about a thousand youths? Would you preach?
-
I stood there, friends, I went like, I call past
-
the pass to preach. Guys say no, okay, your myself preacher.
-
Because standing in front of a crowd like this is
-
easy because family, you know each other, familiar face. But
-
standing in front of a thousand youth she got out
-
there gangsters if she got there again. Some of them
-
actually a school drivers at the back of their pocket
-
to step people on.
-
Friends.
-
One of them used to be a major distributor of
-
drugs in Palawancing itself.
-
Was so afraid. But we say yes to go now
-
because of vulnerability as like close.
-
We don't say yes to God because I got all
-
the potential, but we just say yes to God because
-
we've got all things are possible. Come on, we've got
-
all things are possible. When you go to disagreement, We've
-
got all things are possible. Discouragement, We've got all things
-
are possible. Come, don't say no, and and and we
-
hold back, only discover that this holding back is the
-
rich possession that we have.
-
Allow God to speak to you. Friends.
