  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your team.

  3. So I want to speak about revival. All right.

  4. What the thing is is that what's holding you back

  5. from giving you all? What's holding you back from giving

  6. you all? It's important for us to realize, to understand,

  7. to know our part as believers for a long time already,

  8. after a while, we can hold back.

  9. After a while we can. The word is that.

  10. We're not too excited, or rather, the first thing that

  11. comes up in our mouth is a more know than

  12. the yes. And you know, it's never easy. I under said,

  13. it's never easy to serve the Lord. But yeah, the

  14. same though, it's always challenging you and me friends to

  15. serve him, to say yes to him. So I'm fifty

  16. one this year. I am fifty one. I know I

  17. don't look like fifty one. By I'm fifty one. I'm sorry,

  18. I'm fifty one this year and serving the young people friends, Uh,

  19. it's never easy. So we have a few enterprises that

  20. we run, right, one of them is a ca fake

  21. corner that we run. And I told you to some

  22. one or two people that. So we have a school.

  23. Our school do taking different growth students, and one of

  24. them happened to be sort of a child uh slow learner,

  25. and she couldn't retain new information new knowledge very easily.

  26. So she's supposed to graduate about two years ago. But

  27. she deferred and defer and defer. The mom just spoke

  28. to us and just say to us, hey, it's okay,

  29. I understand my brand. My daughter is at. I just

  30. want her to graduate her friends, right, she won't do that.

  31. She may not graduate with the ig SID so, but

  32. I just want her graduate with her friends. And uh,

  33. if you can allow her to do different attachment so

  34. she can learn some skills to prepare her for the world.

  35. If not, I have to pull out and maybe send

  36. it to a vocational classes. So imagine, So I ready

  37. heard about the thing I just poked at. The teachers

  38. do not know a single thing about anything, and all

  39. just say yes, we would help, yes we would extend,

  40. or well, we'll do our best to make sure that

  41. she feels so welcome, so love and able to pick

  42. up a skill lo and behold first, I really don't

  43. know what I was saying yes to because the day

  44. she came and now my team exhausted every avenue taught

  45. her how to see flower, how to big cookies, how

  46. to clean the table. She was cutting cherry. She took

  47. about thirty minutes to cut one cherry. Okay, And so

  48. I didn't know what I was seating myself out for.

  49. And I say yes, after my team say we have

  50. done everything we did. This week is your turn? This

  51. week is your turn to teach her. I just thought, okay,

  52. two hours today, how hard could it be? Right, It's

  53. only two hours, you know, time with just five past,

  54. so quickly, friends, I want to let you know. After

  55. the two hours, I told my team I'm a sabbatica.

  56. I'm a sabbatica for one month. Okay, because really, I said,

  57. I give up everything for two hours. And I just

  58. told my My team was laughing at me, because you

  59. know they all know me. Me and fifteen sixteen. I

  60. really don't know how to communicate with them. I can

  61. relate a bit more the capacitm, but with teenagers of

  62. the age or so challenging.

  63. I went like, hello you, okay, is it too difficult?

  64. Too hard?

  65. And my team members all laughing the at one corner there,

  66. look at elder. He's becoming so friendly After a while, right.

  67. And the thing here is is that I'm not sure

  68. how many of us when you look at this situation,

  69. go like no, I mean it's like my time is

  70. for something else. So my team, I'm she's coming back

  71. next year. You want to teach how to make coffee? You?

  72. I just keep saying that it's a lot hot water here,

  73. very dangerous, a lot hot water here, very dangerous. I'm

  74. sharing this you, you're because many times when we look

  75. at that, simon, we keep saying like, no, not me,

  76. maybe someone else.

  77. You know, who is this girl of people called campus student? Right?

  78. Who are this girl of people called campus is always

  79. sending your time? When I was asked to be so yes,

  80. yesterday I think yesterday or the day before that, a

  81. group of the elder group of leaders will asked to

  82. be on the panel for a boy girl relationship. The

  83. tighter was this the Lulu versus discermon after asks if

  84. to ask a committee was the lulu?

  85. What on earth is the Lulu?

  86. Oh?

  87. There is?

  88. I thought it was the ice cream red or something

  89. like that, right, And they explained to me that I was

  90. looking through the question and there was an acrinica.

  91. I think it's short form is s O S as

  92. the slash.

  93. Oh. I was like, what what is this short firm?

  94. You don't know, man, It's called significant other.

  95. Friends. I'm telling you I felt.

  96. So our place, so our place, red ministry, the campus student.

  97. But I do not know why I say yes to

  98. the assignment. Yes, I remember when we when when our

  99. campus pastor graduated and past character asked me, could you

  100. step in it as an interim campus pastor for a

  101. short season, short season of the church. Probably look for

  102. the next one, friends, I told past this pastor. One

  103. look for my face. Half of them do not want

  104. to join campus ministry. One look from my face. They

  105. would run to another passer's arms.

  106. All right.

  107. And say no, I believe right now God has caught

  108. you for the assignment and stuff like that.

  109. So I say yes. I say yes.

  110. But I did not know what I was setting myself

  111. up in two because I get caught at eleven thirty PM, elder.

  112. Are you free to meet up? Are you free to

  113. meet up?

  114. I got something urgent to tell you in level today,

  115. I was saying insurance. Back then, this person was happened

  116. to stay right smack a bookie bin talk area.

  117. In Level the DPM.

  118. I read like, okay, Betther, I told my wife should

  119. I go before that?

  120. Should I even as the call.

  121. Because you say yes, the siment is yes correct in lowered,

  122. that they come on a level that it is the

  123. best of their attitudes. You know, back then, right, I

  124. wish I've turned out my phone into this mode. But anyway,

  125. I went there when they met up with his brother,

  126. talking talking, talking, and you know, after thirty minutes of conversation,

  127. it's not going anywhere. You know there is a problem,

  128. but do not know how to share. Come on, cap

  129. so there is a problem, but you do not know

  130. how to share. So you're taking one food journey. I'm

  131. sitting in front of him. I'm so tired. I'm abusing

  132. my body with sugar from Tatar ray.

  133. I'm looking any better.

  134. I do not know why, because you say yes, sir,

  135. holish empower you, and I just look at him. I say, Brett,

  136. please don't tell me you got someone pregnant. Please do

  137. not tell me you got someone pregnant. He got shot.

  138. I saw opened up.

  139. How the hell you know? The how do you know?

  140. Oh?

  141. Then this thing happened and like m and were like God, why.

  142. I didn't want not because it's all just what I

  143. was like, I'll pray for you.

  144. And that's it. Then you you know what I mean.

  145. It's not you.

  146. I'm my mind saying that you have to marry the girl. Okay,

  147. please don't tell me you want to do abortion? Whatever

  148. the is? Okay, I don't. I don't have I don't

  149. have enough energy conversation from the mama table. We went

  150. to our car because he started crying, right you have

  151. because in front Mama had to had to cry that

  152. a man had to cry. He started crying such a

  153. char see what do you want to do? What do

  154. you want to do? I think I'll have to marry

  155. the girl. I say, okay, great cry and this stuff

  156. like that. They ended ended, you know, ended was hugging

  157. each other in the car because I was trying to

  158. console him, trying to like encourage him, so hugging him.

  159. I'm praying. I'm praying that no policeman with a tosh

  160. sight will shine in, will shine into the car and

  161. just say, why do two guys do it here? What's

  162. big size the other guys? The other guy is skiddy?

  163. And what's crying?

  164. What is like?

  165. I want you to know the image. I'm like, of course,

  166. when you say yes to God. Come on, when you

  167. say yes to him, he opens that door, the assignment door,

  168. which sometimes maybe be out of your comfort zone, out

  169. of your comfort zone, and you go like, what did

  170. I say yes to? And maybe because we had the

  171. bad experience that's why we hold back. Maybe because we

  172. we didn't we didn't, we didn't like what we experienced,

  173. we didn't enjoy the moment, we didn't enjoy the ride,

  174. and therefore we keep saying maybe not Mila, this is

  175. for the young people.

  176. Maybe someone else will answer. Is that easy? So we

  177. have to sit down with the campus team, look through

  178. the budget.

  179. Friends, campus suits are very good with planning, excitement, planning

  180. the atmost, I said, how you're going to finance this

  181. campus conference?

  182. Outthough we're charging them eighty ringit? Oh good?

  183. So as an adult, when you look to the budget,

  184. you forgot the factor in transport. Oh maybe they can

  185. pay their own I say, you want people to pay

  186. for a conference fee, and I'm saying to pay for

  187. their own transport?

  188. Uh uh.

  189. God will provide temper student way where they do not

  190. know the ansiy thing. God will provide. God will come

  191. to one I said, brother, you know, go that way

  192. went all right? What about dinner? Uh, they can look

  193. for their own dinner. God will provide dinner for them.

  194. I say, brother, I tell you what. Let's let's let's

  195. re look at the budget. The church will cover. The

  196. church will cover, We will find it. There they were

  197. the definite about six thousand ring it. I just want

  198. you to know that we went to sit down way there.

  199. I say, we'll cover it. And sure enough, when the

  200. dinner came, it was buffet. The team was just texting

  201. each other. You know what when the chempus do so,

  202. it was buffree, right, they scream, They scream, finally got

  203. hurt out cry we can go for a second round

  204. about sure friends, what have your experienced been so far?

  205. When you keep saying yes to God? And maybe it

  206. wasn't good. Maybe you felt like take it for a right.

  207. Maybe you go like like it's always you like that

  208. by pray this money, you open your heart. So the

  209. Bible Metal chapter nineteen was sixteen. Let me it read

  210. for me. See we're gonna Mattew Chapter nineteen was sixteen.

  211. Next night, now behold, one came and said to him,

  212. good teacher, what good teacher, I do that I may

  213. inherit eternal life Verse seventeen. So he said to him,

  214. why do you call me good? No one is good

  215. but the one that is God. Only God is good.

  216. But if you want to enter into life hip the

  217. commandments of course, he being young, which one you just say?

  218. Do not murder, do not commit a doubt tree, do

  219. not steal, shall not bad false witness. Honor your father

  220. and your mother, and you and you shall love your

  221. neighbor as yourself. And the young man said, all the

  222. things I've kept from youth, what do I still like?

  223. What do I still like? I kept all this? Lord,

  224. I've been serving Lord, I've been doing everything you asked

  225. me to. But what do I still like? And? Friends,

  226. God will always put a light in our life to

  227. search out for him. God will always create a space

  228. in your heart so that you will search for Him,

  229. so that you would engage sheep, so that you be asked.

  230. You can't ask him God, I kept all this, You

  231. know what do I still like? I kept all this?

  232. What do I I was? What am I misic out on?

  233. In my years of doing campus work? Friends, I remember

  234. one time whereby we had to organize uh a sort

  235. of a gathering drink and the one point in time, friends,

  236. we were we thought that because you know we're action,

  237. people will come. So we set up buses one point

  238. in time to let you know. And there was a

  239. point in time. Our transportation per month hiring buses was

  240. about eleven thousand ringits. We said about eleven to twelve

  241. buses to different universes to pick students up. Well, how

  242. many of you know, friends even sending the buses out friends,

  243. somethings could be I would say discouraging because there was

  244. one bus that we sent the university Patania, Malaysia. You

  245. pm only four sitter bus only very back one student.

  246. Ferry back one student.

  247. Friends, I'm not sure as a leader, your men of

  248. faith in front in front of the bus that we're

  249. coming anyone else, anyone else. The bus driver was laughing

  250. at the student. So the students you can go at

  251. the bed and sleep. Okay, if you don't like this,

  252. check a change any check. There's for the four chance

  253. here for you to change too. I'm not sure, friends,

  254. because many times you we we tend to keep the commandments,

  255. but then afterwards, when when something happens, go like hey,

  256. what do I do wrong?

  257. I thought I served the lot. Friends, I thought I

  258. served the lot.

  259. But yet God put you in a place whereby this

  260. coouragement comes in.

  261. So what do you still like?

  262. And this is what Jesus said, If you want to

  263. be perfect next, if you want to be perfect, If

  264. you want to be perfect, go sell all you have

  265. and give the poor, and you have treasure in heaven.

  266. Come and follow me. If you want to be perfect.

  267. Go give, come follow, Go give, come, follow, follow me.

  268. At the end of the day, Jesus is encouraging the

  269. young man, come follow me, Come follow me for an adventure.

  270. And this is what the young man said.

  271. When the young man heard the saying, went away sorrowful

  272. or he had great possession.

  273. He went away.

  274. Because he's thinking that Jesus was all after his possession.

  275. Help me if you know that it was not just

  276. the young man who went away sorrowful. I truly believe

  277. that Jesus looked at the young young man's life and

  278. just say that so much potential, you know, as being

  279. the leader for the church for some time. Ready, when

  280. we talk to campus student, we know everyone got such

  281. an amazing potential. Amazing potential. Every one of them. But

  282. yet at the same time, with so much potential, the

  283. enemy also knows. Enemy knows as well. And that's why

  284. discursion will come. Relationship that's not honoring will come. Different

  285. things to come to Your life will rob, the future

  286. will rob, the joy will rob their destiny. I truly

  287. believed not only the young men ran away saw who

  288. but Jesus looked at a life of potential life and

  289. just say, come on, come on, come on. Then this

  290. is what Jesus said to the disciples. Surely I said

  291. to you, it's hard for Richmond to enter the Kingdom

  292. of Heaven. And again I say to you, it's easier

  293. for camera to go to the eye of the Needer

  294. than for Richmond to enter the Kingdom of God. When

  295. his disciples heard it, they were really astonished, saying, who

  296. then can be saved? Just like James said, just now,

  297. Jesus came to the savior of the world to appreciate

  298. good news worse twenty six. But Jesus look at them,

  299. saying to them, with man, this is impossible, but we've

  300. got all things are possible. And someone say amen. Number one.

  301. When it comes to the things of God, the focus

  302. of our conversations should be about Him and not about us.

  303. Come on, when it comes to the things of God. Friends,

  304. when it comes to about the things of God, the

  305. focus of our conversation should be about Him and not us,

  306. because many times our conversation reveals really what in our

  307. hearts we talk about. Let's say, for example, conference or

  308. events and stuff like that. After the world, friends, is

  309. no longer about God in the event anymore. It's about

  310. the event itself. We spend a lot of time talking

  311. about the games rather than the encounter. You know what,

  312. if you're trying the water war, friends, who know many

  313. teas who sign up one you try the water wall,

  314. you try the water games? Are many teas who sign

  315. because they love water. Water and teas are best friends.

  316. Where's where is the composition about God? About the encounter

  317. with God? Because when something happens in their life rest

  318. they ain't gonna take a batter water and they say

  319. save me, save me. Because our conversation reviews, Friends, what

  320. are we focusing on that we reached out with the

  321. conversation with Jesus was all about him and what he

  322. could better fit from Jesus, why he could benefit from Jesus.

  323. Have you ever got to a place whereby you ask

  324. yourself like what benefits me? And sometimes the modern day

  325. church before on this trap hatred. For every possible scenario.

  326. We create timing so that people could come. We make

  327. sure the eircons of a certain temperatures so it's comfortable,

  328. and different things we create so that it's a good experience,

  329. which is all right, which is good, But we shouldn't

  330. replace that, replace that, because after all, we come to

  331. church because we want God's presence more than anything else, right,

  332. more than anything else. Because the rich young ruler was

  333. focusing upon this God, Jesus, what must I do to

  334. inherit eternal life?

  335. What can these do for me?

  336. And you go up to Pasadaniel and you say, what

  337. can you do for me? What can you do for me?

  338. After a while you go, you go the differentias, what

  339. can you do for me? And after all, friends, if

  340. you notice, if you notice that we we we we

  341. go from one thing to another day because we want

  342. to benefit more.

  343. They want gift, and Jesus.

  344. Always encourages us to focus.

  345. In on him.

  346. It says the danger of making decisions only based on

  347. what you can benefit is that we can drive away

  348. from our destiny. We can't because we change. We change things,

  349. occupation and everything like that because of what we benefit.

  350. There was a there was a young kay that came

  351. up to me and just say, Elder, I'm thinking of

  352. working in Singapore. I say, oh great, good, I said,

  353. then I have to bring in in God. I say,

  354. what did What did God have to say about your employment?

  355. Because you God can call you anywhere. Friends to you

  356. understand that God can call you anywhere. It has to

  357. be God that calls you in for the employment. It

  358. must be God that calls you in for the occupation,

  359. not just because they say three times sold. Then you

  360. go there and you and you stop serving in church,

  361. stop going to church. We have seen many are working adults, friends,

  362. many many young working adults. They actually take up employment,

  363. but forsake God, leaders, they actually take up employment but

  364. for seeking God.

  365. Don't even want to come to church anymore.

  366. One of the sad story I've heard is that one

  367. guy came, used to come to our church, but stop coming,

  368. stop believing, stop believing, stop coming, not even another just

  369. stop believing. Stop coming because of employment because other gods

  370. can give him more.

  371. And what are we really after?

  372. You know, there's a character the Bible called Lord in

  373. Genesis chapter thirteen, verse ten to thirteen. And Lord lifted

  374. up his eyes and saw the place of Jordan. It

  375. was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the Lord

  376. and the land of Egypt. We should go out of

  377. the Zord. And Lord chose for himself the place of Jordan.

  378. Lord journey is they separated from each other. Abram did

  379. the land of Canaan, and Lord in the cities in

  380. the plane and pitches ten even as far as saw them.

  381. But the man of so there was exceedingly wicked, see

  382. ful against the Lord. Here's the situation, friends, Lord chose

  383. for himself, no prayer, no seeking the Lord.

  384. And that's what happens.

  385. Friends, if we choose for ourself, we always choose the

  386. best one. We will always choose what suits our physical needs,

  387. what suits our eyes. You know, when we first move

  388. in this place, I'm telling me, or may not know,

  389. we be in this building for almost two and a

  390. half years, two and a half years in this building,

  391. two and a half years, so two and a half

  392. years of this whole journey of legacy and stuff like that.

  393. Pastor came in here, you know, way past. The dream

  394. is not a normal dream. It's not like you just

  395. put the chairs out here. Maybe can build bleachers. I'm like, okay, pasta,

  396. we can We can do anything in Christ, who strengthens me, right,

  397. maybe we can do it. I'm like looking at the

  398. ceiling and we're like, okay, this is really high because

  399. I could imagine if any light seer needs to be replaced.

  400. It's not as simple. Right, you need scaffolding. We should

  401. be in fact, we have all right, So all these friends,

  402. all these, all these all these right may not be

  403. the most perfect and ideal place because it's a lot

  404. to do.

  405. A lot.

  406. If given your us, we rather choose something that's already

  407. already now, then have you do.

  408. Something from scratch.

  409. A few months ago we met up with a property

  410. developer looking at the particular place of rent and stuff

  411. like that. He was showing uslf He's a place, you know,

  412. if you want to do something right, you can build

  413. something in front of in front of a lake. In

  414. front of a lake, there's a huge park there. You

  415. can do something all fantastic. I did to pass the

  416. paid Wow, this is a very nice place. You know,

  417. you know, if I was if our staff moved in

  418. here and guarantee they love it. They love coming to

  419. work every day because afterwork they can run around at

  420. the park, can fit the darks right, and stuff like that.

  421. When you call them there, they're not in the office,

  422. the outside at the ministry, or sleeping under the tree

  423. somewhere walking outside. It's just stuff like that. I say,

  424. possibly be perfect. And we were deliberating, you know, thinking

  425. about it. The more we thought about it, the more

  426. uncomfortable we got. The more we thought about it, the

  427. more uncomfortable we got. Because although the place was beautiful,

  428. very nice, very central and suman jaya and say that

  429. it's not a colic. God has now ask us to

  430. occupy a beautiful place. God is always God has always

  431. asked us to turn things around, turn things around. That's

  432. the story of Christ, turning lies around, turning lies around.

  433. Life is not perfect, but turning around for the glory

  434. of God. That's what.

  435. That's the reason why we occupy something because something is

  436. not here one shopping more, you know, but we turn

  437. it around because this is our God. So we told

  438. the person they say, don't think solar. As much as

  439. we want to say, yes, but I don't think we'll

  440. go down the path, but it's still.

  441. A nice lace. We just see how the lot leads

  442. by the moment is a no.

  443. I think many times if we choose things for ourselves,

  444. what happened is this that we'll miss out on the

  445. destiny next light like the oh and soon when we

  446. focus on ourselves, we close the door, stopping us from expiency.

  447. More of him, close the door first, close the door

  448. FORX say more of him, close the door, friends, and

  449. he need us to become more like Christ.

  450. Why do I say that?

  451. Is because you know when luck calls you to serve

  452. for example, right, I'm not here to solely see you

  453. to serf. I'm just sharing my own personal experience and

  454. more journey passa. Daniel did not ask me to speak

  455. to your Please do to excot too commoning. Okay, get

  456. everybody saf No, he did not tell me. He didn't

  457. ask me to say that to you. The moment we

  458. start serving. For example, you would need to work with people.

  459. Work with people, right, Working with people may not be

  460. the most pleasant experience, even in church.

  461. And we say this, can we all agree? Yes?

  462. Hallelujah. Press The author is going to be opened afterwards

  463. for healing. Or prayer for you know, quere consolation, bitterness

  464. be gone in Jesus name. Anyway, So what happened is

  465. this that when the moment we say yes, the moment

  466. we say yes, fiction happened. Frictional fiction happened. Disagreement happened.

  467. Why we chose for ourselves? I've rather not I read

  468. a white I rather a white I rather a white serving,

  469. so that I don't have to be in a place

  470. of fiction. We close the door for discipleship number one.

  471. We close the door to learn to what it means

  472. to one another.

  473. We close the door.

  474. Friends of a break show in the old spirit, because

  475. you keep choosing for ourselves. Don't serve in campus ministry

  476. because temper students are constantly poor and you have to

  477. buy them lunch afterwards.

  478. That was what told to me, And it's quite true.

  479. A friends.

  480. Don't serve them, you have to send them back after church.

  481. They're always going to be in your house. It is true.

  482. Pu'ster, David and ex London friends the hub over there

  483. after ch come out after Chilter is the best time

  484. to sleep crying not right right, but the campus students.

  485. But we will come to the hub. We will hang

  486. out there and that was a place of refuge. There's

  487. a place of the red day. They get refreshed and past.

  488. The cat got the choice about to lock herself in

  489. the room. There's earlier days of church, but now they're

  490. much better. Little and people could you imagine right now

  491. after after the service, right and the campus will say hey,

  492. we crash at your at your house, you go like, okay, hell,

  493. we need to really ten, We needs really time to

  494. go home. Okay, And you try to give signal. Ah,

  495. you try to give signal like what time?

  496. Really? Oh two forty really a long day, a long day.

  497. Woke up for the first service and the kembo sooner

  498. go like, yes, be the long day?

  499. Yep, quite anyway after this one to play game or not?

  500. Right? Come on, don't you feel stretch? Don't you feel like,

  501. let's see, I don't do it anymore. I'm not saying

  502. this forever there's going to be like that. No, for

  503. every every Sundays could be like that. No, but the

  504. one day that you say yes to God opens up

  505. the door.

  506. You go like I cannot take it.

  507. Did you know the elder terrace and neighbor, you know

  508. they are in their sixty sixty four, sixty five.

  509. They open up their homes for teens. One time.

  510. Teens one time, I think the teen's the great Rachel

  511. rachel Or one night at the home, I think, Johnson,

  512. you open up your homos are right.

  513. Friends, I'm not that brave. I want you to know that.

  514. As much a I'm younger to be younger than that,

  515. I'm not that brave.

  516. I told my wife, if they do come in, I'm

  517. going to sleep immediately. You have to entertain them oput

  518. out the home. I look at old terrants, no elder terrants.

  519. Friends.

  520. He was born in the era whereby his only reference

  521. to music was in the sixties and seventies. Sixties and

  522. seventies reference to music. Anything after that, he says, no

  523. longer music. Could you imagine him talking to a teen.

  524. His daughters are all grown up ready, but he tried

  525. impress them with what he knows.

  526. They love it.

  527. They say they want to come back, and they say enough.

  528. He must increase an eye decrease. The Bible says God

  529. has to be first in all that we do, so

  530. then we can express all of him. Come on, God

  531. has to be first in all we do, so we

  532. can experience all of him next night, the next night. Yes,

  533. it has to be first. It's all we do to

  534. make experience all of Him. We say that we want

  535. to experience God, but we keep saying no how to

  536. experience him. So some of you know that we recently

  537. went the quarter Baro right to the barrel. Recently you

  538. saw passes Facebook. I need assume that majority of the

  539. excoto comning people for the passes Facebook anyway on the

  540. journey there, before the journey, before the journey right, make

  541. sure the cow was in the good cold condition, everything

  542. like that.

  543. So I was the main driver. I drove all the

  544. way there. It took us about We.

  545. Left ut come morning about five forty five am. We

  546. got to Quotabaro about four thirty pm because the copbo

  547. the halfway two hours anyway. Anyway, it broke out the

  548. place between Gua Musam and qutter Baro. We are about

  549. like half an hour to forty five minutes to Quotabaro

  550. in the middle of nowhere. I felt so discouraged, really discouraged, God.

  551. Why we do your assignment this car break down, that

  552. break out another time in thank really or something like

  553. that easier in the middle of nowhere, no open plantation whatsoever.

  554. It's not even houses. No, there's no house nothing at all.

  555. It's in the middle of nowhere. I've read. I went

  556. my heart, my heart sang, sang, because I got like,

  557. if if it was yourself, it's okay when you've got

  558. a passenger. And of all time it broke down. It

  559. was twelve ten in the afternoon half then in the afternoon,

  560. in the in the blazing sun, I was there, opening

  561. up the whole. I got like, why revival requires faive? Next,

  562. like revival requires faith, and you're there on the faith assignment.

  563. Thank god passed the very good research. There's a bookshop

  564. just just hang on meters away.

  565. Sure enough, the workshop was there, all right.

  566. We've got everything done up by a miraculous price of

  567. SETI firing it right. And if I it in the

  568. middle of nowhere, literally, I tell you how nowhere it

  569. is okay. The only the only other shop that's opened

  570. was another hardware shop, and.

  571. But nest.

  572. Office on top. That's it anyway. I remember just looking

  573. at them, looking at the engine. I'm going like, of

  574. all times better, why you break down this time? Why

  575. I drove? I've driven you for the longest time, but

  576. why now? And just passing Canada had to say this,

  577. this this statement. Yep, God did not send you out

  578. on an assignment to fail. God did not send you

  579. out on an assignment to fail you. I want you to

  580. know that God did not send you out. You're you're

  581. you're almost there, almost there. And every assignment requires come on, faith,

  582. Every assignment requires faith. This faith is not just faith

  583. in the Son of God, but faith that believes that

  584. you know, God will come true for you. I remember

  585. going in there like, oh, you know you heard stories

  586. before you you can imagine the worst of the worst.

  587. You're there from from Tildlon all the way until like

  588. six pm. No parts, God came true. But I want

  589. to let you know the other part of the storage

  590. pass a Facebook. I got back to We got back cleverly, safe,

  591. came back, gave me left, got at two pm, right

  592. back here at eleven to t right the tannel that

  593. to to Tannel Lane became one bucketing you all the

  594. way to the tunnel. Got the car checked out, I said,

  595. I want I want everybody the host to be replaced,

  596. because I cannot afford, cannot afford, cannot afford for another

  597. trip to go out come break down somewhere.

  598. You understand what we understand.

  599. You rather just pay the price anyway, So the people

  600. removed that the replacing better, you can make it better.

  601. See why.

  602. One there's one more particular host crack ready, there's one

  603. more host that was cracked. In other words, when it's

  604. cracked right, first, what the pressure? No more water sipping out? Right?

  605. So your engine, your engine will come hot. And there

  606. was a traffic jam going up he will get going

  607. up here. Ah like that, But the grace of God

  608. be coming back here truly the lordler I saw the crack.

  609. So I don't think we have confidence. If I knew

  610. there was a cracker, I would not take the car.

  611. If you come on, isn't it true if you knew

  612. there was something wrong with the car? You want to

  613. keep right? But we all travel by faith. We all

  614. really like we beat and I looked back and look

  615. back into the thing right, friends, this is the Lord Reviver.

  616. Requires faith? Come on? When was the last time? Next night?

  617. When was the last time? If we push the things

  618. of God? Have we been pushing the things of God

  619. without faith?

  620. Come on?

  621. Serving requires faith, giving, requirest faith on the journey for

  622. missus requires faith. But many times what happens our faith

  623. journey is only only like, uh, I'll pray for you.

  624. By there, I'll pray for you. I shared this with

  625. the earlier survey. So my wife lists a mandrid service community.

  626. It's not the easiest to reach because a lot of distractions,

  627. a lot of different things. But they weren't growing. The

  628. church was not growing. The church was not great. The

  629. church was not growing. They were tagnant with it. The

  630. defy to forty people for the longest time right in fact,

  631. one by one started living.

  632. Wasn't great. Pass said down with her.

  633. I was in the conversation, say something must happen, because

  634. as a believer, we say me a faith something my

  635. chief friends. The moment we are stuck, our friends in

  636. your journey, in your in your in your journey, God

  637. was to show you something, review something to you, and

  638. pass just say this to her.

  639. It's expanding.

  640. A campus friendly church, not asking us to change the

  641. way we dress. Forget about the shirt, the tie, go

  642. color hem although my wife study has got no hair,

  643. sometuff like that. No, the sound, not the lights, But

  644. are you a campus friendly church? They meet on campus.

  645. Taylor's college right, very nice place on top of their campus.

  646. To there about twenty four thousands campus students. Oh for me,

  647. I think seven thousand on campus. Not a single one

  648. of them came to church. So, you know, friends, when

  649. you're a challenger, there's two responds to the Either you

  650. give up too hard to difficult.

  651. Keep saying no.

  652. Always say Lord, thank you so much for this challenge.

  653. Right now, I will seek your face. I will seek

  654. your face. Come on, have we been approaching the things

  655. of God without faith? So the team the X me

  656. and your team decide to take up the challenge ship

  657. pass will pray.

  658. Ask God.

  659. So they started changing the way they run church, meaning

  660. they say that we've got to pray a bit longer

  661. in the morning, ask God for ideas. God, pray for

  662. students here go to remember, call them out, say God,

  663. they're here right now, right above us. They will come

  664. to church. There was three weeks during the twenty one

  665. days they started praying. They got this initiative maybe maybe

  666. we would write Christian scripture and asked them to come

  667. to church and put it in some kind of like

  668. contraption and put it at the foot court. About sixty

  669. to I think about hungry, and twenty were not already

  670. and people are just taking it.

  671. And sure it our friends. Two students came.

  672. One halfway during the service just wanted to come to church,

  673. and another person the parents, came to the church a

  674. week later.

  675. Another student came. First.

  676. I want to let you know, friends, you cannot do

  677. the things of God without faith.

  678. You can't.

  679. It is spirit. Sure it is. The Next time you're

  680. stuck in your journey, first ask yourself this. First, ask

  681. yourself this. When was the last time you exercise faith?

  682. When was the last time you exercise faith? He Wills

  683. elevel Worth six says that without faith, Come on, is

  684. it possible to please him? For he who comes to

  685. God must believe. Come on, you must believe, friends, that

  686. he is. He's a reward for those who diligiently sick him.

  687. When we come before God, we need to believe that

  688. he is. We need to friends, We need to So

  689. let me I share this for at this morning service.

  690. I'm gonna share this here the second service. So two

  691. and a half years of journey with Legacy, we started

  692. applying for license back then, really licens that so to

  693. be here you need MPKL. You know that these magic

  694. Kala langan right. Cold is very different from MPSG, very different.

  695. MPHG is rare, very corporate. You must take a number,

  696. you must queue up. It's huge, right, very different. You

  697. go in there first difference, don't need to pay for parking,

  698. emper packing. You go up to the office to appay

  699. for the license. The button to apply for license you

  700. can you need to remove shoe Seela tang right, and

  701. don't need to take Q number. Yeah, there is really

  702. any table that's empty place the officer will attend to you.

  703. My first meeting there, my first meeting their friends, I

  704. brought five people with me, ah the mess around. Five

  705. were grade to show them we got strength, frighten them

  706. a bit, they got shot.

  707. Can I put you both? Why do you be so

  708. many people here?

  709. To do?

  710. To apply for one license? For all these people? Oh stuff?

  711. Megan was one of them, you know mega those power

  712. very agree with what was with me? What's good?

  713. Because you know I asked you dressing though, but the

  714. old but the RTM like the RTM news Castle at

  715. the butty it looks like that. Like that, I say,

  716. you can't be dressing the butty. Okay, I was dressed

  717. like that okay, so you show that I got I

  718. got back in here. So I went to apply first,

  719. first time applied, got rejected from not complete, from not complete.

  720. Documents are complete if I first time, okay, we don't

  721. get all this credit the first go give the second

  722. time from complete document was not complete. I said that

  723. I came this my second time. I did what you

  724. asked me to do. Now min how the third time?

  725. Now you must say did third time?

  726. Media? So the form has you need to change a

  727. b really firm needs to change.

  728. Too many mistakes already documents not complete, whether honestly you

  729. if you if you read first content contents that love

  730. his patient, of his kind of friends, all of out

  731. the window, all of an out of the window, because

  732. you know what it is frustrating. Hey, I came and

  733. approached you. You told me document A, you brought document A.

  734. You did tell me you want to document me. If not,

  735. take it for you, right, some of you understand. So anyway,

  736. I say, now, my let me buy the phone, let

  737. me believe the form. Okay, Now can.

  738. I sell to you?

  739. I say why counter byron to counter buyer, I say,

  740. it's four o'clock. I'm sitting in front of you must

  741. be open right, I'm sorry, sir. Our department closes at

  742. for the tea. The paper closed at fall. Come on,

  743. be honest here, Christians at the very moment, are you

  744. looking for scriptures? They say lost by avenger? Isn't it true?

  745. You're looking at you look at scriptures? They say lords

  746. arrange you and stuff like that. You look at You

  747. got no choice as a Christian because if they followed

  748. you are a church. If you're if you show any

  749. like oh see this pleasure right, you're not representing Christ

  750. and you know, expot to commany pussy, then you will

  751. get a lot of visitation from them. So I went, okay,

  752. so much money? Try to download online online this dagh.

  753. So I literally went online to search for the form.

  754. They say download here. I went the download, No for one,

  755. No for the download anyway I searched as found it

  756. pages two and the two is the more about it

  757. is the instruction, the actual one you need to write

  758. the details is not there.

  759. So I look at her.

  760. You mean I have to drive all the way from

  761. Suba super enough, I've been there so many times Radia

  762. Subuan to Bunting is about one hour?

  763. You mean? I so I have to put on my face.

  764. I had to put at the most saidest face.

  765. I could you mean I have to drive all the

  766. way here that the sub banker bunting yaho, no car yao,

  767. very far, very far.

  768. One hour's drive just to buy the form.

  769. Just to buy the form and go back to suba

  770. there another hour, two hours so that my director can sign.

  771. Then come back to the hour I said, I said,

  772. Singapore already. By then I can go to Singapore already

  773. three hours come in to submit the form to you know,

  774. it's very far. Three hours. You thought she d have compassion.

  775. She listened to you put things and stuff like that. Right, No,

  776. come back tomorrow, just by the film me and pass it.

  777. And we left the place. We were like, we do

  778. not know what to say. We left the place about

  779. four fifteen. Worse steal friends, it started raining, worse steal

  780. traffic jam one. I told you one hour write because

  781. we live a four fifteen to get back to submit.

  782. Two hours you are they're just driving your friends asking

  783. yourself like, God, I have faith?

  784. Why are you doing this to be number one? Got?

  785. I have faith?

  786. Like? Where is there so many obstacles? Well, we must

  787. understand how God works on friends, he gets the glory

  788. at the end.

  789. Of the day.

  790. Anyway, I bought the I bought the farm. I went

  791. back a couple of times, stuff like that. I thought,

  792. this time I'll be God on my site because I

  793. feel all the form already for all the firm, all

  794. the documents ever wanted.

  795. I went the six times. You know, friends, six times?

  796. Now be right?

  797. The seven times number perfect, man, sir, form not complete.

  798. Documents are complete. Cuban is not complete. Friends, say, what

  799. what other document you want? Where is the CF for

  800. the whole building? You asked the developer? Why ask me?

  801. I say that I give you the CF for the

  802. for this lot. The Redeemer go right, because that's what

  803. your the other officer wanted. No, I want the whole

  804. building CF. I'm like a callow you bully CF this lot.

  805. I'm sure the whole building or CFO. No, I need

  806. to see the whole CF. I look at her. You're

  807. the only officer that asked of it. I saw six

  808. other officers. Really, they asked why are you? But you

  809. asked the right now? Anyway, called called the leasing people.

  810. They sent it to me right straight to her. Okay,

  811. this is why I want this is why I wanna

  812. or bully, printer, can you punt out the can you

  813. punt out the document.

  814. For being not? I say, sit at the printer, bully,

  815. can I can?

  816. I can? I can?

  817. I send this from to you?

  818. I see the print the bully, ye come on, come

  819. on some of us here. You know that you said

  820. you're a bolly like like I want to print talks

  821. in front about the frighten her ready as well, always

  822. the newest printer just five minutes outside just to pretty

  823. much shit of paper when there's a everything. Sir, you

  824. have the actual tendency with you, not the new Tennessee.

  825. I say, is the lawyers. I have to explain it

  826. to seven time? Every seven time the I say, the

  827. officer say, okay, but no problem. If we'll give a

  828. temporate license right when you're Tennessee is all side and

  829. stem ready will give you the full license to a

  830. problem explain seven times? So you need to, bully, I

  831. say the other guys it can the guy who can

  832. look at me? I don't know, did I see it?

  833. Have I met you before the kind of look like okay, okay,

  834. I said, up with the officer. Another officers say yes

  835. you're in because you know, not full license. I tell

  836. how God move?

  837. Okay.

  838. When I went into the office and very dear, there

  839. was a guy that came up to me. He asked

  840. me a question. I couldn't answer properly because I was like, so,

  841. you know when you go there seven time, you just

  842. want to get a license to go out? Right?

  843. Yes, say what license do you want? I could ask,

  844. I just want license and just give me a license.

  845. What what kind of license do you want?

  846. Uh?

  847. Any license you just give to me, I'll be happy.

  848. He was very jovial, very nice to me, and explain

  849. to me, you look at my form I'll give you.

  850. I'll give you.

  851. I'll give you a walk that a training license because

  852. you have all trainingay fantasy, whyever license a gay training

  853. because you're training center. Anyway, Later I found out that

  854. he is a pagaway. I need that has a financy,

  855. he say. He looked at me. I'll tell you what

  856. I'm going to give a temporaizusre right now, because I

  857. know you came a lot of times. Really, but when

  858. you have your full tendency right, please come come back

  859. to me. I'll give you one your license. I wan't

  860. to let you know God is in control because of

  861. the process of seven times going to them are friends.

  862. I know almost every pagaway there every day. It's okay,

  863. I know almost every one of them. First revival requires

  864. if he who comes to God must believe that he is.

  865. Come on, he is a rewarded for those who diligedly sick.

  866. Kim Pasta and I we'll be texting each other before

  867. they say that, Yeah, let's pray for this license we

  868. release release, release in a credit time. We're praying release, release,

  869. and sure enough the time we have the temporaizes. Next

  870. going to go to show the tendency agreement hopefully no more,

  871. no more other about bonding it. Yes, how I'm going

  872. to end, and this part the final thing. So therefore

  873. what's holding you back? But the last point, what's really

  874. holding you back? You know, because I believe it's so

  875. strong friends that the enemy wants to discourage you, and

  876. you go the sixth time rereadly you know, six time,

  877. six time, one hour, six hours. You can go to

  878. Singapore and come back, right, can discourage you, can discourage you.

  879. Sometimes you're believe us, believe us interest can discourage you.

  880. Why sir, don't need just your faith is important. Really,

  881. it's if you think you and God right. I don't know,

  882. maybe you don't like the preacher today, right and maybe

  883. step on your toes or something that maybe you felt targeted.

  884. Don't go.

  885. It happens to friends want let you know that passic

  886. enough right even though it's preaching on preaching for conference.

  887. Uh.

  888. Anyway, they there was a command that came in your

  889. senior past your your founding pastor is not preaching the

  890. right theology, not preaching the right theology. So I said,

  891. who's this person? Who's this person? Because what the prayers?

  892. Who is this person?

  893. Don't even come to church? Seriously?

  894. Someone out said, don't even come to church because there's

  895. nothing wrong with the theology. If you know, a past

  896. side is always asking us to depend more on God.

  897. I say, there's nothing wrong with the theology. But the

  898. question is a wise she.

  899. So a demon to change?

  900. As to change where you don't even serve the Lord.

  901. We have a lot of keyboard warriors, and I'm not

  902. saying you are, but shave you. We can become discouraged

  903. because of that. Come on, someone just commented or today

  904. you see thing very well, maybe you open up your

  905. homes and after homes, friends, a lot of hair on

  906. the floor. If if I go to your homestreands, I

  907. can't guarantee you it's not me. All right, it's not me.

  908. But you saw the floor like oh sup messy, sup messy?

  909. Then you o put up the toddlet door like yellow

  910. stings over like, oh my world, this guy need to

  911. come off for all the has got to help them

  912. to improperly. It's true. I've been to one home, so

  913. I'm serious, this true story. Wasn't the big business now

  914. flush and went in there to use I went like,

  915. homes are still happen. I look at the person like

  916. who was the last on? Who wre the last? And

  917. though it could be dead first and you're the home

  918. as a homeowner go like, what's the point? You keep

  919. telling them they don't want to change? You keep telling

  920. them you don't know they don't want to change. It

  921. becomes discouraged and become like killer.

  922. I'd rather than not believeing. It's so powerful. It is

  923. when you believe all things are possible.

  924. But you stop believing friends, when you don't believe in homes,

  925. they so you don't go to homes anymore. But we

  926. don't believe in the church. You stop going to church.

  927. You don't believe in your assignment, you stop doing the assignment.

  928. I took past passa the next last lap of our life.

  929. Let's go all the way from Malaysia. All the way

  930. from Malaysia. We're gonna make some trips up up north

  931. to visit a pastor who's burn out. Who's burnout? I

  932. want encourage sheep. We're gonna visit a place, a town

  933. called Trono. Maybe it's someway from Toronto, but there's a

  934. university there, right. So while I was driving away from Citiawan,

  935. there's a youth leader, youth leader there in Torono that's

  936. making weekly chips from Trono to Citiawan. Because Swan has

  937. a navy base, a lot of is Malaysian. There is

  938. Malaysian there, but no leader. So this leader takes upon

  939. herself to travel to Sitaowan, travel to citia Wan to

  940. encourage to pray with them is Malaysian. When another pass

  941. of Analog heard about it, the pass says the passager said,

  942. I will send teams on a money basis, trying to

  943. help you to our best of ability, as like close

  944. friends It may be inconvenient, it may be tough. It

  945. may be one of those things whereby you go like, oh,

  946. I'm too old for this. I'm too old for this.

  947. First I can feel now fifty one, I do ask

  948. my wife a question here I'm on the talk show.

  949. Can I just wear this ship? Put me so? Uncle?

  950. Cannot tolt me so ancle. I don't know why your

  951. faces out now?

  952. You want you want? You look so shocked. Ton't be so,

  953. uncle cannot? I said, what are my uncle?

  954. You just like uncle?

  955. Can you just a bit more like this? Student can

  956. be related? Bit, I see what you want? My shirt

  957. is either white or black? One?

  958. Okay that I thought I thought I thought you was.

  959. A hip sh I go one from Zarah flower flower Flower, Okay, I.

  960. Go on really flower one. I wear this sort do

  961. that pedal Fowler.

  962. She said that, She said she knows like one of those,

  963. like one of those like what but you a someone

  964. trying to say you like a fish out of water?

  965. Letter you wear that you like you're trying to be hip,

  966. trying to be in, but you're not. You're trying to

  967. blend in, but you're sticking out like a sault time

  968. like that it's hard. This is some of you understand that. Okay,

  969. if those are your young ones, when you reach our

  970. age a look back. I got the close friends, I

  971. got the close believer. It is very powerful. But you

  972. know what, the enemy also knows that. So being discouragement,

  973. disagreement with one another, delay in your brick, though of

  974. course you stop believing, delay your brick to with us,

  975. remember and that it stops you. So what's really stopping

  976. us is like closing my extra amount of stage. You know,

  977. when we talk about the rich young ruler of friends,

  978. I'm not applying. I'm not targeting rich people in expot

  979. the company. No, you know what else can we be reaching?

  980. We also can be reached in reasons why we cannot

  981. always say cannot want You're so reaching that you know cannot, cannot, cannot,

  982. cannot would you no, no, no, no no, we are

  983. very rich in those reasons cannot. And because of that, friend,

  984. you know what happens the door or put you off

  985. for us to grow mature. Closes thoses are because it's norma.

  986. Whereas God has a plan for you, has a plan

  987. for you. That's why I say, if you want to

  988. be perfect, if you want to be mature. Come follow me.

  989. If I'm mature, come follow me. That's why the people

  990. say yes to the Lord. Friends say yes to the Lord.

  991. It's it's not as a smooth fery, but God breaches

  992. you to a journey. It's not forever. Come on, it's

  993. not forever.

  994. I say it.

  995. For my first or second mission trip, I got closed

  996. with this story. Sorry, a lot of stories. When mission

  997. trip to part one Philippines, so I let the team.

  998. There got two campus students with me. Supposed to four

  999. of us, but one person, a guy, got I think

1000. a dangye or something there, so you couldn't come. So

1001. I'm stuck with two campus girls. I'm the only a

1002. doubt there. I went like, God, can we just can

  1003. ser this.

  1004. Just go on? Right?

1005. So back then by jet we flew air Asia Asia,

1006. So back then, friends, we did. We couldn't fly to

1007. Manila because at the Asia they have fled Manila yet.

1008. So we flew into this town call Clark City is

1009. a US Navy base, and we have to take a

1010. text sea at two to th in the morning to

1011. Manila because our flight was first in the morning to Palawan.

1012. I tell you why, but I think all the research

1013. I thought it was okay by whatever. We got there.

1014. It was one of those like you know wild Town,

1015. really wild Town's okay. Got into the hotel room, I thought, okay,

1016. like this hotel looks decent, but though and behold friends,

1017. it was one of those most dodgers hotel I ever booked.

1018. It is the most dodgeous hotel. The weabsite looks okay

  1019. and no friends.

1020. It looks like I was sweitch lodged like that, friends,

1021. But the rooms are different story altogether.

1022. There was a huge mirror next to the bait. Yeah

  1023. leave it that.

1024. So one of the kempers to the well, come next

1025. to do they have such a big mirror next to

1026. the bit on that? So I say, but you make

1027. can see your face. I was there, friends, I'm like,

1028. back of my mind, back of my mind, seriously better

1029. my mind thinking that, God, I don't want to do this.

1030. If you go, if you if you fly solo f

1031. it's so much easier, quicker you can can. But if

1032. anything happens girls under my watch, the hotel was so dodgy.

1033. I we checked out at two thirteen in the morning.

1034. Incomes the incomes a party. One guy with fogus. That's

1035. how dodgy it is while we're on, while we're on,

1036. or the TEXTI to Manila.

  1037. I didn't, I couldn't.

1038. I didn't want to fall asleep because I do not

1039. know where you might wear my Lena.

  1040. In the end.

1041. Got to Pala on friends, got the flu to Pala

1042. one min the street time and the passer over there, Yeah,

1043. would you preach? Were about a thousand youths? Would you preach?

1044. I stood there, friends, I went like, I call past

1045. the pass to preach. Guys say no, okay, your myself preacher.

1046. Because standing in front of a crowd like this is

1047. easy because family, you know each other, familiar face. But

1048. standing in front of a thousand youth she got out

1049. there gangsters if she got there again. Some of them

1050. actually a school drivers at the back of their pocket

  1051. to step people on.

  1052. Friends.

1053. One of them used to be a major distributor of

  1054. drugs in Palawancing itself.

1055. Was so afraid. But we say yes to go now

1056. because of vulnerability as like close.

1057. We don't say yes to God because I got all

1058. the potential, but we just say yes to God because

1059. we've got all things are possible. Come on, we've got

1060. all things are possible. When you go to disagreement, We've

1061. got all things are possible. Discouragement, We've got all things

1062. are possible. Come, don't say no, and and and we

1063. hold back, only discover that this holding back is the

1064. rich possession that we have.

1065. Allow God to speak to you. Friends.

1066. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

1067. information on our church, please visit asks Church do RG.

1068. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing

1069. that this week is going to be a good week.

1070. I hit for you. God bless
