  1. You're listening to a message to go from as church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. So turned with me to Matthew chapter twenty five. So

  4. what I'm going to do is basically it's a three

  5. part series going to do They're gonna cover part one,

  6. three part series of a revival series that I'm going

  7. to be covering and is covering coming from Matthew twenty five.

  8. So Matta twenty five is I'm gonna split it up

  9. into three parts, but they are all connected and ending

  10. in the grand finale towards the last part there. Okay, uh,

  11. And I said it because I never planned it. I

  12. just was. I was actually planned to just preached the

  13. whole chapter, but then I re said, oh no, no, no,

  14. there's something. I caught something there and I got wanted

  15. me just to focus on one part because I feel

  16. that each section has so much to unpack and to

  17. learn as well. So if you look at Matti tat

  18. twenty five, I just have a quick overview, then you

  19. will see in that the title first of all, it

  20. reads the parable of the wise and Foolish Virgins. Then

  21. the second parable you see is the parable of the

  22. talents and then the last one where it coming it

  23. too is the Son of Man will judge the nations.

  24. And all of this I really believe speaks about revival. Okay, revival,

  25. revival in the hearts, and the way we revive our

  26. hearts is to understand the message of Christ, not just

  27. to know the word, but to understand the message and

  28. to have the godly wisdom in our lives to guard ourselves.

  29. It's a very very very important thing. Now, before we do,

  30. you will probably like sort of like when you're read

  31. through this right you kind of have an idea that

  32. this is toward talks a lot about end times. Okay,

  33. I'm not here to talk about end times, but I'm

  34. also to give you guys, like why did Jesus talk

  35. about it? And how can we understand the context and

  36. apply into our own day lives? You and I, all

  37. of us, we are right now in the midst and

  38. the thick of it right now. You don't realize it.

  39. We are in the midst and the thick of it

  40. right now, and the end times. It's going to be

  41. surprising to many of us. It's not gonna be yes,

  42. the world will be it south like on fire Shah

  43. you know, walls and turbulence. Oh, the Kingdom of God

  44. is coming, Yes, it will be coming. But yeah, there's

  45. also a silence and unseeming quietness that everybody and the

  46. piece that we all fall into and many who be

  47. caught off God. You get what I'm saying. Now, there

  48. is the chaos, but there is also the false piece.

  49. You know what I'm saying. There is whether there is

  50. a chaos and the false piece that will come, and

  51. we do not have the wisdom, we will miss out

  52. what it is as well. Now the parable of this, all,

  53. this entire propose is part of what we call the

  54. all of the discourse. How many of you have went

  55. from mind knowing Jesus Part two sessions before? No anyone here,

  56. see I'm promoting a radio, okay, So if I am

  57. knowing Jesus, I will talk about this is one of

  58. it is that the final week of Jesus, the final

  59. way of Jesus. One of the things that he did

  60. after he enters into Jeru to them is what he

  61. has this discourse. You know what's the discourse? Anybody knows

  62. what's the discourse? We highly use that word. You are

  63. okay this cause it's a series of talks. This course

  64. is like having a chat, not discord, okay, and the

  65. gaming thing okay. The discourse it means I have a

  66. series of teaching or the talks and stuff like that.

  67. So it called the Oliver discourse because Oliver, what's happening

  68. during in the amount of olives and the mainly happening

  69. in the amount of olives, and Jesus gives a series.

  70. But Jesus, this particular series is not the Sermon on

  71. the Mount. The Sermon on the Mound is talking about

  72. the Kingdom of God, how it looks like in heaven

  73. and how it actually applies into the earthly ministry. The

  74. Oliver Discourse it's a lot about warning, warning, especially reserved

  75. to Israel, and also to believe us a lot of

  76. times many to believe us, okay. And when you read

  77. now towards the end of Matthew and the Book of John, right,

  78. you will here like, oh what no themes like Antichrist?

  79. You think, like, oh the end times, all the signs

  80. and one of the deceptions. You're gonna know when you

  81. hear all this, right, And what's the first who's the

  82. first person that comes into your mind? In the old Testament.

  83. What's the first person that comes into your mind. Anyone

  84. who says Daniel. No, yeah, some people will say Daniel

  85. because he prophesied a lot. Okay, I will think that. Actually,

  86. you must understand that the way the Bible operates that

  87. is that it's harmonious mane. And the way that works

  88. is that the Bible interprets the Bible. So if you

  89. want to understand the Bible, and in the New Testament,

  90. you look at the Old Testament. You don't look outside,

  91. you look within, Okay, you see the sign or a

  92. saying or a symbolism. You look at the Old Testament,

  93. and the Old Testament were a firm and points towards

  94. the future as well. It points back and it points forward.

  95. You go, I'm saying that it's very powerful. One. So

  96. when you read, when we read towards that, for example

  97. the Oliver discourse, right, who do we look to? The

  98. key is Moses. Moses is the key. Okay. So when

  99. you start to understand when you read all this Antichrist,

  100. all this under the scope of Moses and especially Israel

  101. Moses when they were Egypt, then you will see to

  102. have the understanding. See what happens is that Moses is

  103. a type of Jesus, a foreshadowing of Jesus. Jesus is

  104. the greater Moses. He didn't just came to give the law.

  105. He fulfills the law. So when Moses was said to Egypt,

  106. what did God do? What did God bring with him

  107. as well? Signs and wonders? Okay, plagues In the end

  108. times of our time, it's going to be singing, its quakes,

  109. things going to be You're gonna see many signs. But

  110. what is the purpose of science? So that on, so

  111. that the Egyptians will repent as well and let go

  112. of his people. Always the same thing in the end

  113. of times, very similar as well. When Moses entered into Egypt,

  114. did he enter into a know, what they call it,

  115. empty country? No, he entered into a country that was

  116. steeped and soaked with so much gods Amon Ra, son

  117. of the God of Son. He sees the God of

  118. the underworld, now the God of the river. Now there

  119. are thousands of gods in Egypt, so many gods. In

  120. the end of times we will have false prophets Antichrist,

  121. who will prophesy and do signs and wonders as well.

  122. In a similar fashion as well, everything that was happening

  123. is well, and then when God delivers his people what

  124. he's asking to do. Sorry, yeah, yeah, sorry, I thought

  125. in the other times when when touring towards the last

  126. plague as well, Okay, what they got ask them to do.

  127. There's going to be what they call it, the Angel

  128. of death going to pass through every household, and every

  129. first one will be killed unless you apply the blood

  130. of the lamb on the door post. But this is

  131. where it gets interesting. Now does it mean that you

  132. have the blood? This enough? This is where the Christians

  133. get me. You see, every God told Moses, and Moses

  134. have to tell everyone, and everyone had seen nine of

  135. the plagues. Verad, there you have seen. Oh, you have

  136. seen all that you can see? Ready, frogs, flies, hell,

  137. you know all these things you've seen. Ready, you know

  138. you've seen it. Lord. Ready, you thought that you will

  139. believe radire. But yet God said that you apply on

  140. the door post, but you are to remain inside. If

  141. you remain outside, the blood is on your head. So

  142. there is a responsibility for the Israelites to remain inside.

  143. So for Christians is the same thing as well. God

  144. is giving us warning. These are the signs. These are

  145. the plagues, and this is what you need to do.

  146. But not everybody will hear, not everybody will listen, not

  147. everybody will remain inside. But God is provided the covering

  148. that God is given. You get what I'm saying you

  149. not like you say. It's a foreshadowing. Everything is a foreshadowing.

  150. So Jesus is spending his final week and his final

  151. few days talking to them, are telling them, you know

  152. God is going to come, you know, you see God

  153. is going to come to Just why it's a tree

  154. part series and I tell you it's all connected, one,

  155. all connected. Gonna teach them, Okay, don't deceive yourself thinking

  156. that you hear, you understand, but you don't know the difference. Now,

  157. it's more than just staying inside a house small, It's

  158. more than just an going to a church. Now, it's

  159. more than just hearing worship songs. You know what makes

  160. you remain inside Christ? Abiding in Christ? Get me right?

  161. And so God teaches how how we know? Through these parables.

  162. He gives us the wisdom and also the foolishness of

  163. the world, how the world thinks, how the world does leaves,

  164. and how scripturally we should do so you mark the difference,

  165. so that you know and all of us know that

  166. we remain inside the house. It's important. And when we do,

  167. we we stay inside and we are ready. You know

  168. the way were the way they eat that and not

  169. it's like they were belt get me and they have

  170. sandals and they have stuff, not eating as if they're

  171. having a six hour buffet. When the Japanese buffetiare not

  172. eating like that and are ready, and they eat and

  173. they move, they move, and so oh it complete all

  174. the baptism that you have. But the real baptism is

  175. when we get out of the house and we hear

  176. the voice of God and God Moses delivered them to

  177. the edge and enemy wants, but they passed through and

  178. your sins are completely wiped away, baptized into Jesus completely.

  179. So everything in the past, all that God has done

  180. in the Old Testament, is a foreshadowing for all the believers.

  181. Wright now you get me right towards the end of times,

  182. it will happen to the Christians as well the same

  183. way as well. You know what I'm saying. Now, even

  184. when we do all things, are all the ten parts

  185. of the templace and do everything the enemy was to

  186. pursue you one to know you like it or not.

  187. But at the end God makes away, and then nobody

  188. can make and God wifes wops away. And if you

  189. have a final victory where all your failures and your

  190. past and all the sins are completely washed and wipe away,

  191. and there will be a complete separation, give me it right.

  192. Death cannot pursue you anymore. And that's the final victory

  193. we have. Now. Well, I thought a lot already. Okay,

  194. are your guys ready? Just then intro? All right, let's

  195. read verse one. It says that then the kingdom of

  196. heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their

  197. lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five

  198. of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who

  199. were foolish took their lamps and took not oil with them,

  200. sorry with them. But the whites took oil in their

  201. vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed,

  202. they all slumbered and slept, and at midnight a cry

  203. was hurt. Behold the bridegroom is coming. Go out to

  204. meet him. Then all those virgins arose and trim their lamps,

  205. and the foolish said to the wise, give us some

  206. of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But

  207. the wise answered, saying, no, lest there should be not

  208. enough for us and you. But go rather to those

  209. who sell and buy for yourselves. And while they went

  210. to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready

  211. went in with him to the wedding, and the door

  212. was shut. Afterwards, the other virgins came, also, saying, Lord,

  213. Lord opened to us, and he answered and said, surely,

  214. I say to you, I do not know you watch therefore,

  215. for you know neither the day nor the album in

  216. which the sound of man is coming. No, every time

  217. I read this parabola diffused me. I fear one. And

  218. it's like, oh Lord, am I the wise one and

  219. the foolish one. You know what else drives the fear.

  220. It's not about your heart. It's whether you are wise.

  221. It really speaks it now whether you make it at

  222. the end that it's not just I mean you in

  223. my heart, but do you have wisdom? And it means

  224. that you can have so much good intention and still

  225. missed it. You know what I'm saying, No, you have

  226. so much good intent and It starts off by saying

  227. I said that ten virgins, you know, and when you

  228. say that virgins, it means to a cleaning on. They

  229. were all invited, you know. So I really do not

  230. believe that this is meant so much for non believers.

  231. It's meant for the own people. Really, the own people,

  232. you know, you and I. Every one of us there

  233. are call well many are called. Okay, and so now

  234. let's lett let let's understand this important parable. It says there,

  235. then the kingdom heavens should be likely to ten visions

  236. who do their lambs. Now these lamps are You must

  237. understand it's not the ather didn't land, you know, you

  238. put a home money and no, that lamb you won't

  239. survive you go out there. Okay, It's more like a torch. Okay,

  240. So no, it's not that tw lamb. That lam can

  241. last for a while, but it's a torch, and so

  242. it's always a torch, right, typically, give you a rough understanding.

  243. I will spend a bit less time on this, but

  244. this is important normally for US Asians. Right, our wedding

  245. we start in the morning. You have your uh, your brighter,

  246. your your groom. Was that a party, the brider party

  247. wake up morning Nbout eighty nine, arrived at the bride's place,

  248. maybe it's something nine at that and you go to

  249. the church. In the Jewish committee, different they start in

  250. the evening. The aim to have you know, their aim

  251. is to have a procession. They aim to start around

  252. nine o'clock, around nine o'clock, nine o'clock, meaning the process

  253. the actual the wedding, and then the feast, all until

  254. like maybe eleven twelve o'clock. There's their timing, okay, and

  255. so normally they will leave their house. Maybe they walkman

  256. so probably around seven o'clock seven, roughly around there, typical

  257. seven with the guys, they arrive, okay, stuff from the

  258. stuff from the groom's house. They will walk and all

  259. with a party arrived at the bride's place, take the

  260. bride and go to the back to the groom's place.

  261. Actually these are all symbolic, you know. It's basically representing Jesus.

  262. Jesus has betrothed the church, bought with a price, prepared ready,

  263. and so the job and the responsibility of the bride.

  264. Sometimes the wedding, the waiting could be one or two years.

  265. The responsibility of the bride. The church and the believers

  266. is to remain pure and ready and beautiful. You can

  267. be throw a person, but the person is not ready

  268. for the wedding. That's why we make so much preparation

  269. for the wedding. You know. So the question is asked,

  270. you know, as as a church, as a believer, yes

  271. we believe. But are you beautiful? Are you sanctified? The

  272. key word is sanctification, is that we put cosmetics and ladies,

  273. but God puts on your what sanctification, holiness, good works,

  274. no sot and light. You can mean people look at

  275. you wow, you know like Christ. You know. So this

  276. is a preparation as the church, and so the then

  277. then then then then and then then the groom will

  278. head with the party. We'll head here and saw me

  279. of the way they will meet the ten virgins, and

  280. the ten virgins will have the torches okay, around probably

  281. around eight they guide them to the bride. Those without

  282. the tortures are in my because it's at night, they

  283. cannot see faces right now. If you do not have

  284. a torch, you're considered and a Robert, a thief or

  285. an impostor. And you don't know the way they will

  286. never follow someone without a torch, because you can lead

  287. them astray. Only those with a torch they follow, and

  288. they follow a party ten or them. They all together

  289. as a group, they'll all exhibit the same thing. Go there,

  290. and then we'll bring back to the father's house. Why

  291. the father's house because most of the time at that time,

  292. people live in the same family. I don't know some

  293. of you, but back in my hometown in which you

  294. see right, my grandfather, my mom's side, they have my

  295. grandfather stay in the big house. Okay, the father, my

  296. grandfather's at the top, the first law. Then I have

  297. three to four uncles staying on the basement. So they

  298. have one big house, one big house. So that time,

  299. people stay in their own one big houseman. Now, our

  300. mentality is different. You get one condor you get one

  301. condor you get one condor everybody stays separately, you know.

  302. So that time people and if you look, you know,

  303. in the old architectures, people have this concert of big houses,

  304. you know, And so what they do is that they

  305. bring back to the father's house. And that's why Jesus said,

  306. this is what my I go and prepare a place

  307. for you in my father's house are many mentions, but

  308. the mention of the word is not mentioned. It's like, uh,

  309. it's actually a place. So the son. Typically the father

  310. will give the land and the son will extend the

  311. house the area for the bride and the groom one

  312. which is what at that time that everybody did that.

  313. So when Jesus said that, everybody knew. It's just that

  314. now while we're so used to YouTube, but mentioned Jesus,

  315. do I get a five or six bedders? You know?

  316. Do you have a basketball underneath or not? Do you

  317. have a seaming pool or not? He's not talking about that.

  318. It's not everybody's like, whoa you gonna have a private

  319. helicopter jet? You know? And it's not that. Okay, it

  320. doesn't it doesn't mean. So it's Jesus is talking about

  321. from a groom's perspective. Okay. So now he says that

  322. five of them were once five of them were foolish.

  323. So the foolish took their lamps and took no oil

  324. with them. Now, when I look at that, I was like,

  325. why there's your foolisher, So why they're so foolish? Don't

  326. need no they just have to get oil. Now, typically

  327. the torch will last about ten, fifteen, twenty minutes, okay,

  328. And most of the time people don't expect people to

  329. delay so long, like I said, they expect to start

  330. at nine like that. But it says what it say

  331. in verse five. But while the program was delayed, they

  332. all slumbered and slapt and in verse six, and at

  333. midnight a crime was hurt or delayed quite long until

  334. twelve o'clock. I'm not even started a Yeah, arrive, you

  335. know it could be delaying three four hours? Ready? And

  336. what happened? Then? They fell asleep? Now were they're foolish

  337. because they fell asleep? No, right, because all of them

  338. fell asleep. All of them fell asleep, mad, they were

  339. a foolish man with us all everybody fell asleep. His

  340. life is like there also, isn't it. You get ready,

  341. not because you know the time you get ready, because

  342. you don't know the time, not just the time you

  343. get ready, because you don't know what comes. You really

  344. don't know. Jesus is already trying to tell them something. Ready,

  345. you don't know the time. It's so it's and because

  346. you don't know the time, it doesn't matter your heart,

  347. it's what because you don't know who wisdom comes in.

  348. You don't need to apply too much wisdom where everything

  349. is certain one and all, and just let things run on.

  350. You pre you know, just use my aiag and run

  351. things on here, just run on the automatic already. But

  352. you don't know. That is when your preparation, your foresight,

  353. your your discipline and everything, all the wisdom comes in.

  354. You can I'm saying now it is when uncertainty you

  355. can tell among yourself, among those around you who are

  356. the truly wise ones. You I'm saying, you know. It

  357. is when it's when uncertain where wisdom comes in. Not

  358. your good intentions, you know, really it's your wisdom that

  359. actually makes it. Now it's easier. Then let me go

  360. in here in verse seven, Then all those virgins who

  361. arose and trim their lambs, and the foolish said to

  362. the wise, give us some of your oil for our

  363. lambs are going on now today, I got three key

  364. points I want to deliver to you about the oil. Okay,

  365. then all close. First one, you cannot borrow your oil.

  366. Cannot borrow the oil? What does it mean? What? What

  367. what does the oil represent? And why we can't borrow

  368. the oil Okay, the oil, if you've read the Bible

  369. most of the time, will represent the Holy Spirit. You said,

  370. talk about using oil for annointing the oil, but we

  371. have to go a bit deeper. You will say, hey, Papasta,

  372. you I thought every Christian when they're saying they called

  373. the mark of the Holy Spirit or She'll save Ama,

  374. are you saying the a I save idea? But no

  375. can lose my salvation. Ah going to deep theology and

  376. stuff like that. You know, I went into a long

  377. one of my on this. I tell you why I know.

  378. I don't know. Okay, I only know one thing. When

  379. Moses and the Israelis, when Egypt r they applied the

  380. blood of the Lamb, but they were asked to remain inside.

  381. When Adam and Evil in the garden of Eden, there

  382. was not only one tree, but there were two trees.

  383. One the tree of the knowledge of wo ever and

  384. the tree of life. They always had a choice, always

  385. always had a choice. And the responsibilit is for us.

  386. God can provide everything for you, the word of God,

  387. the instruction, even the blood of the Lemma. God can

  388. put you in the midst of the garden, fill with animals,

  389. all the food you can eat all the enjoyment and

  390. only one temptation and no other thing, only one. But

  391. you still need to obey. You're gonna say no both

  392. the in the area of plenty and the area of life.

  393. You always have a choice always you got to say no,

  394. not neither. You never always have a choice one, okay,

  395. but you always have a choice, and it's our responsibility

  396. to exercise that choice in wisdom, A very very very

  397. very important one. Okay. Now, when we talk about the

  398. Holy Spirit, it's not just about oh I feel the

  399. Holy Spirit. Yeah, and that was so done. Really pass

  400. the mad talking about just responding and you know, and

  401. then we play a music. No, no, no, Remember Matthew seven?

  402. What did Mathew? Chapter seven? What did Jesus say? And

  403. those in the end of the days many will call

  404. me Lord Lord. I'm periphrasing here. You can't read that,

  405. but I tell you I was. Jesus was saying that begone.

  406. I do not know you, you who are workers of

  407. iniquity or lawlessness. You know what I'm saying. No people

  408. will say, but Lord, we cast out demons in your name,

  409. We prophesied in your name, all these things. That's why

  410. this is a d half. But it's true, we have

  411. we can do all these things. But yeah, Jesus causes

  412. workers of iniquity and lawlessness. I'm not saying that you

  413. all are here, but there is a way too, truly,

  414. very fine, Okay, So, but Jesus says that it is

  415. those not those who what what is the requirement? Those

  416. who do the will of my Father, Those I know

  417. I'm perfecting here, those who do the will of the Father.

  418. So if you add the formula together, if you have

  419. the Holy Spirit, you are intended to do the will

  420. of the Father. And what does the will of the

  421. Father do for you? Jesus says another one, My food

  422. is to do the will of the Father. If you

  423. have the Holy Spirit, you will do the will of

  424. the Father. And by doing the will of the Father,

  425. you will have food, you will have feel in your life.

  426. You know, I'm saying, no, it's not it's just having

  427. you know, it's not just that all I claim the

  428. word of God, I have Holy Spirit. That's one thing.

  429. By that many people will claim and don't do the

  430. will of the Father. It just proves you claim, but

  431. the Holy Spirit does not recite in you, and you

  432. do not respond to it and you do not, do

  433. you know what I'm saying? So not so that is

  434. what you means that God is going to provide everything.

  435. But yet daily Christians are not choosing to recide under

  436. the covering of God. They go outside the house. Ah,

  437. it makes sense or not. Moses told them you are

  438. God's chosen people, a pride of blood. Stay inside. God

  439. has done everything for you. Some said that I don't

  440. want to, I want to see fire works. I don't

  441. want to. Don't know how you want to do for

  442. the world.

  443. You know.

  444. It is your responsibility. You cannot blame God and not

  445. you can. Mean it's a very very important distinction. So

  446. now we understand that the oil is not just the

  447. presence but to that, but it's the active working of

  448. the Holy Spirit. And if you want to summarize that,

  449. if I have the Holy Spirit, how do I know

  450. it's not instead just don't It's not just having the form.

  451. But daily am my asking God? What is your will?

  452. And am I doing it? Do I do respond? I

  453. not play any worships. So you don't have to let

  454. Oh prove to me you're speaking tongues. I just need

  455. to know one thing, are you doing the wills of father.

  456. Are you hearing and doing the will to fath? You

  457. know what I'm saying? No, you said you didn't say, Hey,

  458. do you speaking tongues or no? My food is to

  459. do the will of the father, of my father. That's

  460. my food. You know what I'm saying now, And so

  461. whether you have that is no, where are you doing it?

  462. That's the feeld you see towards the end, and I

  463. have actually I was on PJ. I have a stage

  464. I there's a very good illustration. But imagine me. No,

  465. you see, when you start up off right, all of

  466. them were virgins, and all of them will have the torchlight.

  467. At seven o'clock, all of them look wise. You must

  468. understand now, all of them look wise. It was only

  469. until twelve o'clock you can tell who look foolish. That's

  470. the thing, isn't it. It's only at twelve o'clock you

  471. start to realize who look really foolish. At seven o'clock

  472. everybody look wise. Everybody looks mad. It's like it's like

  473. a well, you know, we all started with the whale.

  474. Every you know, all saying pad you also look full.

  475. It all look full. You look full everybody always starts

  476. up a Christian okay, But yet when times are hot,

  477. you dig, you scoop, and that's where you realize that, hey,

  478. I scooped one a two hour nothing left radio. You're

  479. nothing left ready, you know? But yet I just look

  480. the same. And when times you school, and you school,

  481. and you school more, even until you cannot see the

  482. whal already you cannot see the water. And times a

  483. day Christian life, I don't know, sometimes challenging, and you

  484. don't know where your faith will come from, and you

  485. just just go dig a bit deeper. You drop down

  486. the well. You cannot see a radio and what the

  487. word finish already? Then you pull Oh god, wait, you know, hey,

  488. you think it's dirt or stinky water or not, oh,

  489. fresh living water her because underneath it's the Springer. It's

  490. not your doing, but because of your experience, because you

  491. were walking with the lot and you were hearing his

  492. way and doing his will. Even sometimes you don't understand,

  493. you keep digging and you dig, and when time comes

  494. when you scoop it up, you find water to do

  495. it all. You see, the working of the Lord cannot

  496. be borrowed because it is the personal work of the

  497. Holy Spirit in your life. If you're a doctorate, cannot

  498. borrow your doctorate to enter into another university to claim

  499. that name. I cannot You know you, I'm saying, no,

  500. it is God's working in your life. Is God digging

  501. that well for you, not for them? You have to

  502. dig your own. That's why you can't borrow from it

  503. en all. You know what I'm saying. No, you cannot borrow.

  504. You cannot borrow from someone on earth. You cannot just

  505. say I'm a Christian because my parents are a Christian. Hey,

  506. you cannot say that I'm a Christian because my spouse

  507. is a Christian. I am a Christian because I can't

  508. and then just drop my kids in X kids that

  509. makes me a good Christian. Your children were their own,

  510. but you You cannot rely on their digg Neither can

  511. they rely on you. You have to rely on your

  512. own spiritual walk to feel that oil reserve and all.

  513. You cannot borrow one and all because when they walk back, okay,

  514. when they walk back to the group, they need that

  515. torch as well. They cannot give what God has given me.

  516. Our challenges all are different. I go to better or

  517. worse my challenges is the faith that God keeps me

  518. sustaining until I come and meet my father face to face.

  519. You all he come saying no, it's my faith. You

  520. no my oil or I can't borrow it cannot. And

  521. so a lot of people say this is the thing,

  522. you know, when you realize you cannot write, You cannot

  523. rely on my preaching. They cannot rely on YouTube because

  524. YouTube will not really really will not. We not minister

  525. to you. You know, you know I'm saying no, it

  526. doesn't get you to minister or to sir, to be challenged.

  527. What is the will of the father?

  528. You know.

  529. This is very rare. You cannot borrow. The second point

  530. that I want to tell you is that you cannot

  531. rely on oil. Oil. You cannot rely on oil. Everybody

  532. start off as as as virgins with lamb. The reason

  533. some of them they were foolish because they dip their

  534. torch once their first dipping or are their first baptism

  535. or their first experience. And counter we got oh everybody

  536. seven o'clock. Everybody looks like they're on fire all about it.

  537. We can't look at singles place different. We cannot look

  538. a big difference. Oh, start off as parenting, I said parents,

  539. because I also preach the same thing with them, aselves

  540. our parents. Oh I'm a Christian parent. Or when my

  541. baby come out, I play worship some twenty four hours

  542. on it, or until my baby's face grow in the

  543. hale and Moses like the beautiful baby. Ever know, ah,

  544. you know this is a Christian baby ready? You know

  545. immediately I make sure I bought my time with passed Stephen,

  546. you know, to make sure baby dedication. I'm the first

  547. I ask you. I have everything you do. But then

  548. seven o'clock becomes twelve o'clock and you realize that, hey,

  549. you only had one dping. And my question is that

  550. when was your last testimony? People? You think we asked

  551. testimony not because hey we need pr you know, to

  552. run out of people. Testimony is because when was the

  553. last time God spoke to you? God challenged you, and

  554. God asked you to do his will. And a lot

  555. of us are relying on something that's so all the gold.

  556. It's like frying your fried chicken now with like oil

  557. like six months ago. I mean, we want to go

  558. to the fed KFC to eat fried chicken. They used

  559. all oil to fry. It cannot e won't be a fright.

  560. You will be bought chicken, BFC and KBC. Okay, I

  561. don't know what Kentucky brought chicken.

  562. You know.

  563. Oh it cannot relate. And it's because not just that

  564. it's finished, it's already. You cannot some of you, some

  565. of some of you that some of us. We all

  566. go through it. We rely on our testimony and our encounter.

  567. We serve God. Or I used to be president Evangelism,

  568. I used to lead wash your ministry, Oh do do?

  569. And then oh my time has come? Oh and maybe

  570. you know ourself when I'm after this period. You know,

  571. that's one of the things that I sometimes I don't like.

  572. You know that I hear when I when I heard it,

  573. I used to hear when I started working on I

  574. hear this from a well intended Christian. Well intended Christian say,

  575. it's okay. You earn all the results already, and when

  576. you can serve God later, you do it for him.

  577. When you have gained all the experience, you have all

  578. the money, you don't have to worry already sounds wise, last,

  579. but I will tell you what you do not know

  580. the time, which is our shortly letter I'll give you

  581. another reason why. The third point why this is where

  582. this is so not true. Okay, The second reason is

  583. that you cannot rely on all oil. You cannot. My

  584. question is that when was the last time God spoke

  585. to you and asked you to minister, to give to

  586. go out in faith? Really, when was the last time

  587. and you caught something? Not because of the pastor everybody's like,

  588. oh you caught from r because yourself, your own life,

  589. you have not been experiencing much. You rely on somebody

  590. to to motivate you to bring closer the reality of God.

  591. You cannot at all you see him. I worry, you know,

  592. because the oil is so important on your own life.

  593. But like I said, I use the analogy of the

  594. of the well, where they will become a time when

  595. you need to go from point A to point b.

  596. But because in your life you never die the well.

  597. It looks like you have oil. You look like you

  598. have oil. Maybe you needed ten scoops or twenty scoops,

  599. you know, to get there to under enough world to

  600. get to a bit. Maybe you have a financial difficulty,

  601. Maybe you need healing. Maybe God is asking you to

  602. go into ministry, or maybe it could be anything challenged.

  603. It could be requiring a lot of faith. You know

  604. it's right, you know it's right, you know you want

  605. to do it, but yet you go in like the

  606. rich young, like the rich young ruler. You know, you

  607. open up your heart and you check your bank deposit

  608. and you realiss than zero money left because your heart

  609. has been stolen. And you dig into your flask and

  610. you realize that your flash is empty or just a

  611. little left. A to B requires five. You got zero

  612. point five, and you want to exercise face passer. You

  613. pressure me. I thank you for your message, your minister

  614. to me, I got reviewed to me in the world

  615. twenty one day, or fust I heard this radio. This

  616. is the step. You want to do it, but you

  617. couldn't do it. Out of the goodness of your heart.

  618. You couldn't do it. And then you start to bargain

  619. with God because you don't have the all you bargain

  620. you come. I'm saying, you bargain, and because of that

  621. you fall short. Not because it was hard, but because

  622. all the years of God asking you, you keep delaying,

  623. you keep denying, you keep procrastinating. Then you don't have

  624. the depth. You really don't have the depth. I mean

  625. professionally with norma. If you're the first few years of

  626. your life, you're supposed to get experienced. Man. Then after

  627. twenty fifteen years at you don't have the depth. You

  628. cannot lead a team one and all. You cannot at all.

  629. You read what you saw professionally, it's like that one.

  630. You read what you saw, but it's spiritually the same

  631. way as well. And so because when you come to

  632. that point of your life you get so lost and

  633. so confused. But actually, because you don't have that depth,

  634. you can borrow and you look at your oil and you're, oh,

  635. I used to it doesn't apply anymore. You go into missions,

  636. like twenty thirty years ago, you go for missions. Oh

  637. I cannot I got too many keys, and go blah,

  638. I go to my I got my business. You don't

  639. have that faith anymore. When God said, when you start

  640. off your business, you should have gone for missions, because

  641. I need to make sure that you are ready when

  642. the time comes. Go ask you to give now on

  643. a give and I have plenty only. But then when

  644. you make your million, when you make your ten million,

  645. when you make a hundred million, I tell you a

  646. thousand will struggle to give. It feels like you don't

  647. have enough because you'll never die. You don't understand. This

  648. principle is that faith begets faith in all. Faith begets

  649. faith one and all. And this certainly that, Oh God,

  650. I want to do the right thing. If not, I

  651. feel so lost. And then you go twenty one days

  652. and fast and pray, you cannot You just couldn't master

  653. it because you never die. Enough. You cannot rely on

  654. the old ones. Okay. And the third one, you know,

  655. the third one that I want to mention is that

  656. what did I want to say? I think my mind does.

  657. I'm trying to remember. Wow, what's the third point? Wow?

  658. What's the third point? Let me check my notes? Uh Suddenly,

  659. then my mind got plain, what's the third one? Had

  660. remember it's a very very very important one. Can I

  661. be replaced my mind? My mind's bank? Okay? Ah, okay,

  662. I know already, I know already. No, I got it, Okay.

  663. I always look at the scripture, okay, always, And he

  664. says there verse nine, But the wise answered saying no,

  665. lest there should not be enough for us and you,

  666. but go rather to those who sell and buy for yourselves,

  667. go to the seller and buy for yourself. Third most

  668. important point. There is a time to buy, and there

  669. is not a time to buy. There's a right time

  670. to buy, there's a there's a wrong time to buy.

  671. You cannot The oil is a gift, you know. You

  672. exchange by faith and you get it. You serve by

  673. faith and you receive an inheritance. You don't realize it.

  674. Every time that you overcome something challenging by really the

  675. obedience of God, you receive an inheritance. Like I said,

  676. you dig a bit deeper. But this is very important

  677. principle here when you go out at night to buy

  678. the oil, no one is there for you. There is

  679. a time, warner. There is a time to sow, and

  680. there's a time to reap. There is a time to fast,

  681. and there's a time to pray. There's Jesus says no

  682. during the time when the when the it's a very

  683. broad principle, but it's a very important principle. When the

  684. bright room he is here, you don't weep and you cry,

  685. you don't fast, want enough, you celebrate. And when the

  686. braagroom is away, then you begin to whip and you fast.

  687. It came snaw when the sun is out. You go

  688. out to work. When the sun is down, you go

  689. and rest. The question is are we aware what time

  690. is it? So this is where the wisdom is, the

  691. wisdom see yah when times are late, really the wisdom

  692. make exposed. No, oil is not expensive together at that time,

  693. it is very clear, because they say they we're not

  694. in bich. It's not expensive at all. But the foolish

  695. nurse is that the body at night, when there was

  696. no one around the buy from. You could have done

  697. all this within your power to do it, but yet

  698. when the time arrived, you didn't do it. So the

  699. foolishness of time also permeated into the lives of the believer,

  700. the fulliness foolishness of time. That's why it's that I

  701. told you here might some people tell me, oh, you

  702. earn your money first, get it all this is this

  703. is though time of the warman, do all this money.

  704. Then when i'm later, when I have the money, when

  705. I have the convenience, then I serve, then I give,

  706. then I respond to God. Up by the way, I'm

  707. not here to manipulate anyone to do anything. I'm preaching

  708. to you myself because your ministry, you're responding to do

  709. God's will. That could be many many things, okay many many,

  710. many many things. Make God mayor asks you to do

  711. start a business by faith. But if you're delayed, you're

  712. procrastinating all these things. When the time when the sun

  713. is up and you are sleeping, and a lot of

  714. times we don't know the time. You know why, because

  715. we're inside the house. You're in your own cocoon, in

  716. your own little world. You don't even open the window

  717. to see what is happening. And you're too lazy. Your

  718. wisdom is lost. And when you want and when the

  719. time comes, you know, when the time comes, and I

  720. said saying, ah this immediately, you know I really need

  721. right now, or I realize that I don't have the

  722. depth or how come I I have this challenges? You know,

  723. people can just believe God so easily. You people, Oh,

  724. why why he is a pastor, That's why he can

  725. believe God so easily. That he's got annoying thing. It's

  726. not then annoying thing, it's the is the well is deep.

  727. The will was deep during the daytime, and all you know,

  728. I'm saying, no, the wall was deep during the daytime.

  729. You know, they're not during the daytime and all they

  730. feel it up in all fielding not but yet uh

  731. wh believe in God in the provision, believe in God

  732. for all this like that, Go out and surf you know?

  733. Do you know? Missions? God, studying business, Go and minister,

  734. go and visit someone in the in the hospital. I

  735. can't I do it because everything is no. No no

  736. no no no no no no. You think you say

  737. no now will help you to say years later, I

  738. can tell you you will have a thousand and one picture.

  739. You can't do something when you're all, ah, my bad, hurtsler.

  740. I can't say that every day. Oh no, no, I

  741. got to see doctor right then. Tell you new things

  742. will happen and it will begin to rob you and

  743. you realize you got don't have the capacity anymore because

  744. you bought you didn't buy the oil during the daytime. Yeah,

  745. I'm saying, you know. But the opposite is that the

  746. world will try to make you feel like you're a loser.

  747. I really say this, make you feel like a loser.

  748. See not right now? If you're not in church, what

  749. are you doing? We could I drive five minutes and

  750. go play golf on We could go pick a ball

  751. and you know, probably a few more sessions ready, brother right,

  752. well this one BIXB you'll start at ten o'clock and

  753. got the hour because you know, because I could have

  754. have Brown Branch breakfast and teams number one twelve thirty brothers,

  755. I have to go and rush my kids to going.

  756. My cant ready. You know why you spend all these

  757. hours for the church and still that they're being in

  758. God's house and do ministry like that? Why you spend

  759. ten thirty at not even people? You know, when you

  760. spend the time to go and call them, hey, your kids?

  761. You are oh when you go on campus, you could

  762. have got home and play you know, legal legends. I

  763. don't know why you are all this thing you could

  764. have done and all hey, you could have done all

  765. these things. Are you know you fore you're going to

  766. do your master's degree? I tell you know why, because

  767. all this I gotten, I got so many ideas how

  768. to improve myself on and know I got so many

  769. times personally, I caught so many but God had to

  770. minister to me mad. You're so flesh, so flesh, But

  771. when you're going to be wise and look at the time,

  772. you cannot see it, But I see it. Now is

  773. the time you go out and sew. Now's the time

  774. you go out and plant, so in due time you

  775. can reap your harvest. You know, at the closest part, right,

  776. I don't want to recap.

  777. You know.

  778. What's the first one? You cannot borrow another person's oil.

  779. You cannot the second one, you cannot rely on oil oil.

  780. What's the third one? There's a time to buy oil?

  781. Can you remember this? Er? Huh? This is practical. It's

  782. most like. It's almost like a household principle. It's very principal,

  783. very very basic, isn't it. But you know it's a

  784. country that there's one song that comes into my mind.

  785. You know, how do we continue? Like the Bible say,

  786. you know, have the holy spirit, make sure that our

  787. oil is full. You know, yes, these are things we know,

  788. But how do we You know, there's a song that

  789. comes in my mind, you know that song.

  790. Puify my heart, let me be yes, go and precious silver,

  791. and then to refine as far my heart's wan.

  792. This is a is to be holy said a part

  793. for you, my master, not my man. The last part,

  794. Ready to do your will, it ends, Ready to do

  795. your will, Ready to do your will. So a lot

  796. of us are. Our hearts are not one thing, but

  797. not able to do the will of God. It's true,

  798. isn't it. We want to, but we're not doing it.

  799. We're not doing it because our hearts, they say, is

  800. a clinging to so many debris and dirts and foreign materials,

  801. you know, contaminating it. And we find our hearts not soft,

  802. not pure, not pliable in the hands of God. In

  803. the hands of God, you know we we we we

  804. we we solid different we we've molded everything before God. Ready,

  805. this is the temper temper, this is template.

  806. You know.

  807. When I started out having kids, right, one of the

  808. challenges are what's having gone on? Really? And I tell

  809. you the truth, Okay, I tell you even sometimes people

  810. close to me okay, I won't say we're close to

  811. me will say things are like that are I think

  812. your children are will struggle. They used to people You

  813. start to use the children to to make you feel

  814. like you're I'm a horrible parent. That's the most powerful thing.

  815. You know. Parents are just hate being feel like you're

  816. a horrible parent. Oh you know, maybe they won't study, well,

  817. maybe the one grow told. Maybe they will be like

  818. you know, some people used to have with this thing

  819. or become like a pastor's kid, you know, you know,

  820. you know, they grow up and then want to be

  821. like total rebel, you know, one hundred percent and fifty

  822. you know, a round a percent rebel. But then I

  823. was like it cannot be. Sometimes, I when I when

  824. I started opening the house for people to come in,

  825. messed up my house like crazy, you know, really amazy,

  826. you know, sometimes because it's stop like oneot my kids

  827. to not sleeping, you know, then the next day they'll

  828. tie you and people are looking like, oh your kids

  829. like that. Aha. I really can know, really, Ganna and all.

  830. It's so many days I want to few example, and

  831. sometimes I really don't know. I just say God, everything

  832. I do is really just out of faith. I can

  833. tell you my heart was not there, but I was

  834. just doing it automatically. Only I was really really struggling.

  835. It's not easy. But I tell you right now, I

  836. look at my kids are not perfect, but I wouldn't

  837. trade them for Mini one now. Really, by the grace

  838. of God. No, it's not just that. And I can

  839. tell you I am nothing zero, but yet God did

  840. everything to raise my kids. I'm just so glad for it.

  841. I don't know what we're coming in the future, because

  842. I told them you cannot borrow my oil. You gotter

  843. have your own oil, you mean, But my oil has

  844. produced a legacy and a testimony for you guys, and

  845. it's sustained me through that. I have to do it,

  846. you get, I mean, right? And because I can now

  847. I get to encourage others, Hey can't. I know, sometimes

  848. just coming from BU to BJ can be a real

  849. challenge because of the traffic. But I tell you that

  850. actually homes and worship is not coming to homes now

  851. your travel. That's the portion that God has given to

  852. you to worship him. You don't realize it. You don't

  853. realize it. That is the most spiritual thing you can do.

  854. That is the most so your life is not filled

  855. with hearing and understanding. Your life as a parent, I

  856. feel is doing ninety percent doing than just hearing. You

  857. don't realize it all when you finally arrive or we

  858. can minister to you because you've done so much. You

  859. have come the mountain to bring Isaac. You know, you

  860. know what I'm saying. You know, so I hope parents

  861. will do the same, that each and all you are

  862. like everyone climb climbing the mountain to bring your isaacs.

  863. You know that's the key. You know, you know and

  864. say you know every one of you. When times come,

  865. when when things are tough, better it is for your

  866. children or for your own family. You have so much

  867. fresh new testimonies. God. Wow, another challenge again, Ah, another

  868. sickness or another thing. Just trust color and you realize

  869. that because you invested so much, the peace of God

  870. will guide you. It's not by coincidence. Right now, because

  871. all the testimonies have built up this piece to guard you.

  872. You are no longer sleeping because you have not oil.

  873. You are sleeping knowing you have all the oil. And

  874. when you say, hey, oh oil, I got oil, but

  875. you don't want to feel like you are sleeping you

  876. got all the on your world, I say, I'm reallying,

  877. I got no oil. L Amen.
