  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So this morning, the title of the message is what's

  4. my Agreement? And I'm going to be sharing with you

  5. the parable of the vineyard. Okay, the Lord calling workers

  6. into the vineyard. Okay, let's go, Matthew chapter twenty, reading

  7. from verse one. For the Kingdom of Heaven is like

  8. a landowner who went out early, that's about six am

  9. in the morning, okay, to hire laborers for his vineyard. Now,

  10. when he had agreed with the laborers for denarius a day,

  11. he sent them into his vineyard. Now, if you remember

  12. the last time, I shared with you that when Jesus

  13. spoke to the Jews, he did not refer to God

  14. as God. And that's why they used the term the

  15. Kingdom of Heaven. When they used the Kingdom of Heaven,

  16. it is because they held the reverence to the word God.

  17. So God is like or God is a man that

  18. went out into They would not do such a thing,

  19. all right, So what did he do? He spoke to

  20. them in a language they understood. Remember I covered this

  21. the last time. And also you got to know something.

  22. This was because the Jewish people revered the name of God.

  23. They held the name of God in such high esteem.

  24. So Jesus was not going to stop that. They were

  25. doing that one right. So because they did that one right,

  26. why would he want to change it? So he spoke

  27. to them in the language they understood, the Kingdom of God,

  28. Kingdom of Heaven. Sorry, so Jesus is speaking in the

  29. way people understood. He was not going to undermine one

  30. of the only things that were getting They were getting right.

  31. God's name is paramount number one. Jesus was giving an

  32. insight into who God was. And God is all right now,

  33. the owner went out early in the morning. I want

  34. you to know God is active, all right. God is active?

  35. And who here says that God is slow to act?

  36. You there not say, eh, okay, how many of you

  37. believe sometimes that God is slow to act? Sure, hence

  38. I believe sometimes God is slow to hegt. But I

  39. want you to know. Scriptures telling me you know what

  40. God is working? God is working early suggests that what

  41. we deem as slow is lacking and understanding of what

  42. God is. And God is already moving. Do you realize

  43. that when God gives an answer, there's only three answers,

  44. he gives okay. You know what are the three answers? Yes, no, no,

  45. Wait he doesn't say yes no, maybe okay, yes no

  46. and wait now praise the Lord I He has not

  47. said no, even though yes not said yes. Do you

  48. realize that that He's already given you an answer? See?

  49. We fail to understand this. If we praise it God,

  50. I want a Lamborghinea. God said no, I give you

  51. a protraon saka. God said no. Or God can say yes,

  52. go and get it tomorrow. He can say yes. But

  53. if he doesn't answer, wait, no, isn't that an answer?

  54. See you and I miss it? So this is what

  55. I get now. When it says God early in the morning,

  56. it means God is always working. God is taking care

  57. of issues even when we don't see it. Morning suggests

  58. this the first thing on God's mind. Wow, the first

  59. thing on God's mind the morning. What's the first thing

  60. on God's mind? God was looking for workers for his vineyard.

  61. The landover was looking for workers, and I'm saying the

  62. land owners God, in case you don't know, right. So

  63. God is looking for workers for his vineyard, all right,

  64. So God wants people involved in his work. You know

  65. that God wants you involved in his work. If God wanted,

  66. he could just say, field of vineyards, have grapes, and

  67. you would already see grapes on the vineyard, on the vines.

  68. Have you seen grapes on the vines I have on

  69. the slopes of Germany? Oh? Very nice. They won't let

  70. you pluck, no matter how nice it is. They won't

  71. let you pluck. But it looks pretty, looks good. But

  72. is that the way God works? You may say God

  73. cannot do, but you want to know something God can do,

  74. but he wants you involved. God can do, but he

  75. wants you involved. That's such a wonderful thing that God

  76. wants simple all ears to be involved in his plan.

  77. So remember this statement. God's plan is our purpose. God's

  78. plan is our purpose. So now you know it's not

  79. just halves. We always think that God is only interested

  80. in the house. Do you know that? Wow? The hovest

  81. pray for the to the Lord of the house that

  82. he sends laborers into the field. Wow, hows on it.

  83. But let me tell you, before the house, there's a vineyard.

  84. You know, before there's a house, what is it? There

  85. is the preparation of the ground, guys, you came for service.

  86. Everything was here. You didn't have to set this up. No,

  87. you came magically, just here. Does the mics already ready?

  88. The projector was in place, the notes were already up

  89. on the screen. Did it walk that way? No? Somebody

  90. had to come in prepare the ground. Somebody had to

  91. prepare the ground. Or service has been prepared today? Okay,

  92. that's one number two. Then there's the planting. What is

  93. the I'm planting now, I'm planting seeds in your heart.

  94. I'm sharing the word of God. I hope to get

  95. it into your spirit. What am I doing? I'm planting

  96. the word. After the planting comes out of the watering. Hey,

  97. what is the watering? The watering is the care all right?

  98. The care for saying, not the gathering of scens. You're

  99. watered all right. What is fertilizing? Oh, fertilizing You mean

  100. to say the plant just grows? Can What is the

  101. difference between good plants and bad plants? Fertilizer? I mean

  102. if you eat rice every day and only rice, no vegetables,

  103. No mean, you only eat rice, you will look like

  104. one big rice, That's all you will look at. Probably

  105. the heir would have fallen out because no nutrients, skin

  106. will be bloochy. You know you be fat, but you

  107. won't you'll be weak. Why no muscle, no protein to add.

  108. There has to be some fertilizing, all right, we come together,

  109. we fertilize. Then there is the pruning. What is the pruning? Well,

  110. you know, fertilizing and pruning his disciple shape. Guys, You

  111. and I think we can just do it, Alona. That

  112. means God doesn't know what he's talking about. So are

  113. we calling God a liar? And he says, go ahead,

  114. make disciples of all nations. Did you say, God make believers? Hey,

  115. God is in the business of making believers. You and

  116. I we have to concentrate on making disciples. So either

  117. you're right or God is right. Who is it? God

  118. is right? Nah? If God is right, we are not.

  119. What is God right about making disciples? All right? So

  120. we don't want to be disciples. We don't want pruning

  121. in our lives. We don't want fertilizing to take place.

  122. Then we're telling God a Lielah, we say, God, you

  123. don't know what you're talking about. I know my own way.

  124. Oh that's not it. Okay, Then there's the protecting, there's

  125. the harvesting. What is but you just leave a plant there,

  126. you just throw the seat. What does the Bible say

  127. the birds will come and eat it? You protected recovery?

  128. How do you protect it? Worship? You protect worship till

  129. all these things then comes the harvest. So you got

  130. to understand that God is not just interested in the harvest,

  131. which is the fruit of all the work that is done.

  132. God is interested in working the land. Okay, so now

  133. they agreed, or he agreed? What was the pay? One denarious?

  134. You know what it is? A denarious? Denarious today's equivalent

  135. to fifteen loaves of bread. How many loaves of bread

  136. you can eat one day? Maybe one? Law la? Huh,

  137. So you've got a family of four four loaves love.

  138. You were given enough. You were given a little bit

  139. more than enough. You were not given exact amount, is it?

  140. There's exact a little bit more, there's extravagant. The pay

  141. was enough? One denarious was a day's which which could

  142. feed a family, could give them some wine for the day,

  143. you know, some of the basic needs. That was what

  144. So they won't pull Okay, God never takes advantage, So

  145. now he agreed. What does scriptures say? I want you

  146. to draw close attention to this word now when he

  147. had agreed with the laborers, So who made the requests

  148. for one in areas? Did you ever realize you think

  149. God offered one d in areas? If we understand what

  150. God is all about, God wants to give us everything,

  151. But our minds are small, our vision is small. They

  152. asked him for wan denarreas and he said yes. So

  153. who agreed? God agreed? So he agreed. It was a

  154. negotiated sum to bike agreement means you have to ask

  155. because I'm gonna work for you. You go for a job.

  156. You just whatever they give you. You take a okayeay?

  157. I want you to work twelve hours a day. I'll

  158. pay you five ring it a day. You'll work for

  159. that kind of job? One man, how much will you

  160. get five times to have sixty ring it? But you

  161. work twelve hours a day, you'll you'll work better? You won't?

  162. Is you say? Are you crazy? I got transport, I

  163. got toll I got petrol, I got food to eat,

  164. I gotta put house over my head. I got it.

  165. Then you will work out something I want so much

  166. per man you give it to me. I'll work for you. You negotiate.

  167. That's the way where it was. So you get sent

  168. after an agreement and not before. You know why a

  169. lot of people are not sent because they haven't agreed.

  170. They haven't agreed in the terms. You only get centered here.

  171. M I send me, but you have to agree to

  172. the terms first. There has to be an agreement between

  173. God and you on the terms. So this is why

  174. you may be called but not sent. Many of us

  175. are called, but we are not sent because we do

  176. not agree with the terms. I do not agree with

  177. waking up every morning on a Sunday, coming putting all

  178. these instruments down here to worship the Lord, and then

  179. after they've got to take it all down and send

  180. it back. That's why I don't want to join the

  181. music ministry. You didn't agree to the terms. Man, those

  182. are the terms. That's the job. What is the reward

  183. you bless the Lord? He gets happy and pleased with you.

  184. And what does the Bible say about God blessing you?

  185. He just wants to bless you and bless you and

  186. bless you with his grace his power. Okay, got that part. Okay,

  187. let's move on verse three. To verse five. Okay, and

  188. he went out about the third hour. Third what is

  189. the third? Third hour? Is now nine am, So you're

  190. not six am. Now it's nine am. I'm gonna tell

  191. you something you will not like to hear. What is

  192. one work day in the Lord? Twelve hours? You read

  193. from the start of the day six am to the

  194. end of the day, twelve hours. So how many of

  195. you work twelve hours a day? Don't put up your hands?

  196. How many of you like to work twelve hours a day?

  197. Who likes to work? Now? Work nine hours a day?

  198. Must have Saturday off? Don't have Saturday off? Don't want

  199. to work nine now, cracknaut truth be told. That's what

  200. it is. So we say we have no time for

  201. the Lord. No, no, no, no, no. You have at

  202. least three hours a day. Think about it, because in

  203. God's eyes, one work hour is what one work day is?

  204. What twelve hours? But there's a tough one. Now work

  205. it out, man, they said. So now at ninety am

  206. he goes and now he's seen some other people standing idle,

  207. standing idle, and he says, you also go in through

  208. the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.

  209. So now they were a group of people that negotiated

  210. with him. Now you look at what he's calling people.

  211. He's calling people and say, you come and work for me.

  212. I'll just give you what I want. But there was

  213. an agreement. Because they agreed to it, they went to work.

  214. So who says God doesn't care? Wow? After three hours

  215. he goes looking for workers, he goes looking for you.

  216. He's interested in you. Doing nothing is not acceptable. By

  217. the way, he that does not work, let him not eat.

  218. So oh, it's not God's will for me to take

  219. this job? Why because they're not paying me enough? Really? Hey,

  220. when I had no job for six months, I was

  221. willing to go and deliver bread. Okay, when you got

  222. a family to feed, here you go mouths to feed.

  223. Work is work. You'll do whatever you need to do

  224. in order to get work done. That's the reality. But

  225. now I know somebody who once told me, no, no, no, no,

  226. I've been offered five figure pay for this job, but

  227. I don't want to take it. It's not God's will.

  228. Why because my pay that I want is this much.

  229. I was counseling him, you know, as my counsel Are

  230. you crazy, wrong persona to tell me that so I

  231. just are you crazy. You shouldn't be eating. I said,

  232. if you have no worker, you should not be eating.

  233. You have no right to eat because you have got

  234. no work here. You got somebody willing to pay you

  235. so much. And you think it's not God's will because

  236. it is not the figure which you feel God has

  237. given you. Let me tell you something. If the job

  238. is not telling you to go and do anything illegal,

  239. if the job is not taking away your devotion to

  240. the Lord, it is the will of God as as

  241. simple as that. So guess what. The guy took the job,

  242. and after a few months he said it was the

  243. best thing that ever happened to him because all his

  244. desires start coming to pass. See you and I we

  245. blame God for a lot of things, but the answer

  246. is in the word. So doing nothing is not acceptable.

  247. So you say, ah, you know, I want to come.

  248. I just want to praise the Lord hallelujah, and then

  249. go out the door and wait another week. That's acceptable.

  250. It is not acceptable because remember what I said in

  251. the last message. God is not your cook. You do

  252. not come to be served. You come to serve. And

  253. this is what it is. You see. It is not acceptable.

  254. God comes looking for people, and he asks for anybody.

  255. He will use anybody. Do you realize that God did

  256. not ask for criteria from the workers. You know, there

  257. was no interview. Hey, you can do the job. You

  258. got this degree, you got that degree. Ah, you are

  259. You're qualified or not? You know what is the qualification?

  260. The qualification was do you want to work for me? Yes,

  261. you got the job. That's Gord. That is God with you.

  262. He's interested in you. So he offers them work. He

  263. cares for the people. He cares for his field. What

  264. is the field? The field is the world? Now in

  265. verse five, it says again he went out at the

  266. six hour. What is the six hours noon? What twelve

  267. o'clock in the afternoon? He goes again? So he goes

  268. at at six, he goes out at nine. Now he

  269. goes out at twelve. And guess what he went out

  270. at the ninth hour. What is the ninth hour? He

  271. went out at three pm? While he kept going and going,

  272. and what was he doing? He did? Likewise, he was

  273. looking for people. Do you know any time of the

  274. day he is still searching for people to work for him,

  275. to work with him, to do what he loves. Remember,

  276. God's plan is our purpose. God never stops. He's always

  277. looking for workers in the field, and he cares for

  278. his field. Do you know that he cares for us?

  279. What about the eleventh hour? Now was five pm, one

  280. hour before end of before close of business. You know

  281. you know what COB is, those of you who are

  282. in business are I won the report by COB today.

  283. So do you do you know why we all work

  284. under five o'clock? Because EH close a business eleventh hour?

  285. So five pm? Okay, five pm? We went out and

  286. found others standing idle, and he said to them, why

  287. have you been standing idle all day? God is not

  288. interested to see us not doing anything. Will he bless

  289. you when you serve him? You better believe it. The

  290. last time I was here, did I share with them

  291. the testimony on my heel knee? I don't think so. Okay,

  292. the last time I was here, my knee was giving

  293. me a lot of trouble. I was hobbling. You know,

  294. I was really having a difficulty. I'm used to walking

  295. ten kilometers a day, but I had to stop for

  296. a long time. Why was that? Well? My knee was hurting.

  297. On the eighteenth of December twenty twenty five. I was

  298. doing some work going up and down the ladder and

  299. I injured my knee and I couldn't do it. So

  300. I thought I strained some muscle and the pain would

  301. go away. And i've two months the pain had not

  302. gone away. Then I thought, okay, no, no, no, you gotta

  303. be manly, you gotta take it. So I took the

  304. pain for another month. So at the Monda at the

  305. third month, I thought to myself, something is not right.

  306. Let me go in x ray. So I went to

  307. x ray. I went to the hospital. They x ray.

  308. Then they tell me how everything's wrong with and there's

  309. nothing wrong with your knee bones are all okay, it's

  310. an age thing. That's not nice to hear. It's an

  311. age thing. Sixty five years of age already they're telling

  312. me you've got muscle problem because of age. You gotta

  313. go for physiotherapy. You gotta train your muscle again, train

  314. my muscle. Okay. So anyway, I had to open up

  315. the school at seven on Wednesday morning. Every Wednesday morning

  316. I opened up the school. So it comes to sit.

  317. Came to such a stage if I bend down to

  318. open the glass door, why on earth they put the

  319. lock on the floor. Can't they be like China glass doors?

  320. All the low is here, not here. You gotta get down.

  321. I get down. I cannot get up. Serious, it was

  322. that bad. And then I pulled that glass handle to

  323. pull myself. I was scared of I was gonna break

  324. the door. So you know what I did. I bought

  325. a staff, like the last abender. I got the staff,

  326. you know, I brought it that day. You know what

  327. God wanted me. Wanted wanted to see of me. He

  328. wanted to see whether I would still do the work.

  329. So I brought my staff. I got down on the knees,

  330. I unlocked the door, and I used that staff to

  331. pull myself up. That very day, a man walked by

  332. one of the parents of the children. He says, this says,

  333. something wrong with your knee. Say yeah, I'm having a

  334. little bit of difficulty. He says, come and see me.

  335. He is the professor of physiotherapy at the University of

  336. sorry by Jaia. So I went to see him. So

  337. he examined me. Then he said you went for next year.

  338. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. They said nothing was wrong. Yeah,

  339. they said nothing was wrong. He says, well, I want

  340. you to know you've got a dislocated me. For four months,

  341. I've been suffering with a dislocated me. And then he said,

  342. don't worry. You didn't give me a chance. He never

  343. prepared me for what was happening. Suddenly you felt that

  344. I wasn't quite sure. He put it back in place,

  345. and immediately my knee could move. I'm back to walking

  346. ten fifteen kilometers a day. God took care of my issue.

  347. And then I remember that morning as I was praying

  348. for the service, praying to preach, I was saying, God,

  349. you have to have is the first time after four months,

  350. the first time I'm asking Lord, Lord, will you help

  351. my knee because I can't imagine at the age of

  352. sixty five I already cannot walk. I got so many

  353. more years to go. And the next day, the very

  354. next day, I was here. That is God, That is God.

  355. God will look after you. I also had a heart issue. Oh,

  356. they told me I have high calcium calcium score. So

  357. I went for checkups and stuff like that. Finally, after

  358. one and a half years, I get my appointment to

  359. go and see the doctor in the government hospital. All right,

  360. so I go and take all the tests. Every test

  361. I took everything right. The results came back and this

  362. is this is the Lord. When I took my test

  363. two years ago, I had a sugar or seven. You

  364. know what is seven? Seven is diabetech diabetic? Okay, high cholesterol,

  365. all the kind of things are not nice. Now the

  366. results came back at the beginning of April, after my

  367. knee got healed. The doctor looked at me and said, oh,

  368. you're he is normal. Your sugar is normal, your calcium

  369. your your your liver is normal, your cholesterol is normal,

  370. your kidney is normal. You're fine. I'm discharging you. God's

  371. taking care of my help. Why is that when you

  372. are interested in God's business? Like I showed him that

  373. day that even though I was having discomfort, I was

  374. going to do his will. He came through and he

  375. started taking care of all my issues. God is still

  376. looking for whom the ones that no one else wants.

  377. Do you know that at five at five pm, He's

  378. looking for those that are left behind? Are you left behind?

  379. Nobody wants you? Well, I know somebody who does. God

  380. Jesus wants you. And yet every time we give the

  381. altar call those who want to know Jesus put up

  382. your hands. Nobody wants to put up their hands. If

  383. you are unsaved and you don't want to put your hand,

  384. is put up your hand. It's okay because none of

  385. us here loses any sleep, to be honest, because we

  386. know who Jesus is, and he loves us. He cares

  387. for us, He saved us, and he's offering that to you.

  388. Will you receive it or not? So God is still caring.

  389. He trusts you that no. Wow, wow, this is fantastic. Hmm. Okay,

  390. So God is still caring, he trusts you. Not there

  391. was no interview okay for you and I. It seems

  392. as if the criteria was I do not want to

  393. see people aimless. I do not want to see people

  394. unwanted or unproductive. I do not want people to be barren, idle,

  395. or slow. So, guys, God wants you working with him.

  396. He doesn't want you to be idle. Okay. He doesn't

  397. want you to be doing nothing. He wants to be

  398. doing something. Okay, Matthew seven, they said, so, they said

  399. to him, because no one is. He said to them,

  400. you also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right

  401. you will receive. You. Notice that the only ones who

  402. negotiated with him. I'll repeat it. Were the first group

  403. of people, the ones who started the job early. Hey,

  404. I mean, well, I loaned the lorder for forty forty

  405. five years or so. So when I meet the lawyer, said, Lord,

  406. it's so unfair. I had to get up at six

  407. in the morning. Go put instruments, Go, put it in

  408. the van, going loadie, go and put it back. Go

  409. home at twelve o'clock, attend every service, call to this,

  410. go to do this for you, do that for you.

  411. And I'm getting the same reward as the guy who says, Lord,

  412. coming to my hand, be my Lord's here and knockoff.

  413. We're getting the same reward. He's so unfair. Is that

  414. the way I'm supposed to look at it? Guys, you

  415. gotta understand the grace of God is a rejoicing Okay.

  416. So when evening had come, the owner of the now

  417. he calls all the stewards, call the laborers come. I

  418. want to give them their wages, beginning with the first, last,

  419. and last verse. What is the last? First, it's for

  420. all to witness the grace of God. That's what this

  421. is all about. It's about the grace of God. Hey,

  422. Salvation is not something earned, It's grace. That's why you

  423. can rejoice for all to witness grace. Can we rejoice

  424. that others receive salvation or just make it as opposed

  425. to us who have known for years and have to

  426. work out our salvation. You, I gotta work, I gotta come.

  427. How many Sundays have come? How many messages I preached?

  428. You think it's easier to preach a message. I gotta prepare,

  429. I gotta pray. Then I got rush, get caught in

  430. every traffic light and strug and then off that, oh

  431. you know, I'm the people are waiting for me, and

  432. you know, you know, and then come here, and then

  433. the first do one and let me park. Then I said, no, no, no,

  434. I'm supposed to park here. Okay, okay, you know what

  435. I mean? To go through all that stress? Okay, Matthew

  436. twenty nine to ten, It says, and when they who

  437. came were hired about the eleven hour, they each received

  438. the denarious. That means are those that started at five

  439. o'clock got one denarious. Wow. So now those of us

  440. who were a long time getting go wow, if they

  441. only work one hour, they get one denarious. What about me.

  442. I'm gonna expect something good. But when I first came,

  443. they supposed that they would receive more, and likewise they

  444. also received the denarius. Can the element of grace we

  445. received from God be earned? That's what this is talking about.

  446. Can we earn his grace? Can he be battered and negotiated?

  447. The natural? The way of the world is to want

  448. more because we feel entitled. Oh. The only way I

  449. would say, God, God, you gotta bless me more then

  450. that guy is because I'm entitled. Why am I entitled?

  451. I work for you more than this guy. I've been

  452. doing this and doing that. And the guy who he

  453. said yes, and he died, and then he's in heaven

  454. and while he's getting the same reward as mere, remember

  455. the message. The guy who earned five said, well done,

  456. come in. The guy who earned two, also, well done,

  457. come in. Did Jesus say, oh, the guy who earned

  458. well well done, you got five, come in, you got

  459. You're better than no one who got to. But now

  460. mine a tua not too bad or so well done?

  461. Coming Did he say that? No, they got the same acknowledgment.

  462. It didn't matter. Okay, we feel it's our rights. Verse

  463. twelve and when they had received it, they complained against

  464. land owner. Say the last man have worked only one hour,

  465. and you have made them equal to us, who have

  466. borne the burden of the heat of the day. I'm

  467. gonna make it clear. This scripture is talking about grace

  468. and how we received grace. And I thought I put

  469. my phone on silent. So it says here Romans six

  470. twenty three. For the wages of sin is death, but

  471. the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus

  472. our Lord. Are we working for a wage or are

  473. we receiving a gift? Why do we work for the Lord?

  474. Are we working for his grace? Are we working for

  475. a wage? The grace of God is not earned enough.

  476. God decided to give it to us just because he

  477. is God. It is received, it is accepted. You did

  478. not receive more of it because you got it early. Ah,

  479. but we should rejoice that we have had longer to

  480. live in it. You want to feel something good, Praise

  481. the Lord that I have lived forty five years of

  482. the grace of God. You only saw God for one day,

  483. But look at me. I've seen God work in my

  484. life for forty five years. Isn't it wonderful. So I

  485. can rejoice for you because I know you're going to

  486. be in the presence of the Lord. And I can

  487. rejoice for myself because not only will I be in

  488. the presence of the Lord, I've seen him work in

  489. my life all these years. Ah. Maybe this is why

  490. we working for Jesus, because we feel he is an

  491. unfair paymaster. This message came about and there's another part

  492. of this where youngsters asked this question, is it fair

  493. some people are born with disabilities and some people are

  494. born Okay? I address that question with the Lord this

  495. morning in my walk even as I praying for this message,

  496. and the Lord said this, He said, it's not a

  497. question about whether you know, how can he be good

  498. that these people are born with disabilities and some are not.

  499. They are questioning my fairness. They are saying in that question,

  500. I'm not a fair God because some are born this

  501. way and some are not. But I am not a

  502. fair God. I am a just God. Do you know

  503. that fairness was what got us into this mess in

  504. the first place? Because Adam, when you're saying to him,

  505. so the fruit looks pretty good, Wah, God is not fair.

  506. He knows that this food is gonna make this fruit

  507. is gonna make me like him, and he doesn't want

  508. me to eat not fair Then food looks the fruit

  509. looks so good. So what did he do? He ate it,

  510. fairness Goddess into a lot of trouble. But if he

  511. had recognized God is a just god. I don't know

  512. what this is about, but I know my God, and

  513. he tells me something. It's for my own good. I

  514. will throw in with God. That is what a just

  515. God is doing, what is right for us. So now

  516. he says to them friend verse thirteen fourteen, I'm doing

  517. you any wrong. I'm doing you no wrong. Did you

  518. not agree with me? For Denarius your agreement? One? And

  519. this is what he said. Take what is yours and

  520. go your way. Take what is yours and go your way.

  521. I wish to give to the last man the same

  522. as you. You know that's horrible. You think you've earned it.

  523. Take your wages and go. Take what you think you've

  524. earned and go. But you realize it. The landowner did

  525. not tell that to any others who came in at

  526. nine twelve, three or five. He only said it to

  527. the ones who questioned his fairness. Guys, God is not fair.

  528. It's just let's get over ourselves, because fairness is a

  529. concept of our mentality and understanding. If we understand God

  530. in terms of fairness, we are saying we are God,

  531. because fairness is very very human, very very man like,

  532. not god like. I'm not doing you wrong just because

  533. you think it's not fair. I'm just this is what

  534. God said to me. If you are working just for

  535. the pay or you give it, give of yourself according

  536. to what you perceive. Your reward is be satisfied with

  537. your lot in life. Okay, if that's what God is

  538. to you, just pay, be satisfied love, because that's all

  539. you're going to get. That's what it means. By take

  540. what is yours and go your way, that's what you're

  541. going to get. But if you work for grace in

  542. your life, the grace of God, you will stay. Remember

  543. he just told those who were not satisfied to go.

  544. If they were not satisfied, the only ones who made

  545. a fast were the first. Be careful if you are

  546. the first, not to let greed, dissent, resemve desire capture

  547. your heart. Likewise, you young people, submit yourselves to your elders.

  548. Oh yes, guys, you gotta know this, sir. There's a

  549. lesson of humility here, because grace requires us to be humble. Likewise,

  550. you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all

  551. of you be submissive to one another and be clothed

  552. with humility. For God resists the proud, but gives grace

  553. to the humble. This is First Peter five to five.

  554. He gives more grace therefore, he says, this is verse six.

  555. This is James four six. But he gives more grace. Therefore,

  556. he says, God resists the proud but gives grace to

  557. the humble. So you want to talk terms with God

  558. and say this is my right. That's pride. That's what

  559. got us into this mess in the first place. The

  560. longer we have served the Lord can be rejoiced that

  561. we have led had more time to live and experience God.

  562. That's what it's all about. Experience God's grace as opposed

  563. to those who receive it at the last minute. Then

  564. Jesus replied, is it not lawful for me to do

  565. what I wish with my own things? Or is your

  566. eye evil? Because I am good? Ah? Just because in

  567. other words, God, what is God saying. God is saying

  568. anything I do is good. You disagree with it, that's

  569. your evil eye. Get with the program. Understand God is

  570. God and we are not. Get with the program. You

  571. know what is being right? Being right is throwing in

  572. with God even if we don't agree. So the last

  573. be first and the first last. For many were called

  574. and a few are chosen. God is good. Is our

  575. eye evil? Be careful when we pronounce judgment on God.

  576. You know what is pronouncing judgment on God? God? You

  577. are so unfair to those who had this question of

  578. why some people are born like this and born like

  579. that and some people. You know what God said when

  580. he was asked, was this man? Why was this man

  581. born blind? He said, for the grace of God, for

  582. the glory of God to be revealed. You know who

  583. is Stevie Wonder? You know what he said about being blind.

  584. I'm blessed of God because I get to see people

  585. not with the color of their skid, but with the

  586. intention of their hearts. Have you heard a goden Motete

  587. is probably one of the best Christian gospel is around.

  588. No one can touch him, listen to him play. He

  589. is in a class of his own. What did he say,

  590. I am blessed even though I've been born blind because wow,

  591. very active or today. You know that he said this

  592. because although I can't see, God has given me the

  593. ability to play such wondrous music. What about that guy

  594. who was born without hands and legs, Nick whatever his name,

  595. because I can't pronounce it. What did he say? He said,

  596. having limbs not a problem for me, because I'm blessed

  597. to the Lord. The Lord has given me so many exacts.

  598. What about that guy, Darius Simmons who has one finger

  599. on his left and three fingers on his right hand,

  600. but he has played with the New York Symfon Orchestra

  601. the piano. He plays the piano better than some of

  602. these people I've seen with ten fingers, and even if

  603. they could play with ten toes, not as good. This

  604. guy is really, really good. What does he say? Praise

  605. the Lord? And he's a composer. Hey, let me ask

  606. you this, sir. So you're so concerned about whether God

  607. is fair about some people being born with disabilities or not,

  608. My question is, so you have no disabilities, what is

  609. your problem? You got two hands and two legs, and

  610. ten fingers and two eyes, two years all working. What's

  611. your problem? There's not a question about God. It was

  612. a question. It was not a question about whether why

  613. is it? You know? It was a question about whether

  614. God is fair. Always remember this, sir, if you forget everything.

  615. God is sovereign. He's answered. He answers to no one

  616. but himself. Many are called, we are all called. But

  617. the chosen are those that receive his rewards with humility,

  618. alignment to his will, and without murmuring. You want to

  619. be chosen? Those are the qualifications. We lose the chosen

  620. status to pride, greed, and envy, even though the Master

  621. is generous, So how do we protect against it? The

  622. reward is not for the length of time worked. In

  623. this whole parable, I'm coming to it, and I will

  624. end with this. The reward is not the length of

  625. time worked. What was the reward for It was for

  626. saying yes to Jesus. That's why it doesn't matter whether

  627. I said yes to Jesus forty five years ago, and

  628. it doesn't matter whether you said yes to Jesus one

  629. year ago. We get the same reward. You know why,

  630. because we said yes. The reward was for saying yes.

  631. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
