  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. Today.

  4. I just want to remind each and every one of

  5. us that revival has a root. All right, Revival has

  6. a root, and revival is rooted in a fall letter word.

  7. Okay, Revival is rooted in rest.

  8. If you have your bible's turned with me to the

  9. Book of Isaiah chapter thirty, verse fifteen, and we're.

  10. Going to read some scripture this morning. Is that okay?

  11. Is that? Okay?

  12. Revival is rooted in rest. Isaiah chapter thirty, verse fifteen. Hallelujah,

  13. Praise to the Lord bless the reading of his word.

  14. For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel.

  15. In returning and rest, you shall be saved in quietness

  16. and confidence shall be your strength. If you you want to,

  17. we want to turn to another scripture. We turn to

  18. the Book of Sums. We love the Book of Sums. Yes,

  19. I'll get to that later. Right, we haven't revealed the

  20. title yet, but the Book of Palms chapter twenty three. Okay,

  21. how many of you are familiar with Psalms twenty three?

  22. All right?

  23. Psalm Stony three, one of the most read scriptures in

  24. the Bible. But Psalms twenty three versus to the tree,

  25. what does it say? He makes me lie down in

  26. green pastures, He leads me beside the steel waters.

  27. He restores my soul.

  28. He leads me in the path of righteousness for his namesake.

  29. Amen, Praise the Lord.

  30. In Hebrew, the word restore, the word restore, it actually

  31. means to return and to revive. In Hebrew, it's called chaff.

  32. So God wants to shaft you. Yeah, God wants to

  33. give you chaff. He wants to restore you. He wants

  34. to restore you to a state where you were once

  35. in love with him. But because of perhaps the business

  36. in your life, maybe you have forgotten what true chaff

  37. really means. But true shaft really really means. And some

  38. of the kids are already asking, what's the title. What's

  39. the title? Yes, that's the title that I have for

  40. you this morning. It is rest. It is to rest. Okay,

  41. it is to rest. And if there's a subtitle, it

  42. is to find rest in the Lord. How many of

  43. you this morning feel that twenty twenty six has just

  44. been a bullet train?

  45. Yeah, just don't stop.

  46. Just assignment of the assignment for the students, just task

  47. after task, just meetings after meetings. For the adults, can

  48. I say this just church after church? Can I say

  49. this just waking up after waking up? Is there a

  50. purpurst to your life? And some of us we go

  51. for holiday? How many you just went for holiday? Don't

  52. put our hands praise the lot. It's okay, holiday is good.

  53. But how many of you feel that sometimes you go

  54. for a holiday and you need a holiday after the holiday? Wow,

  55. praise the Lord. I went to Korea two years ago.

  56. It's been two years, my dear. We have to go.

  57. We have to go. We say we have to go

  58. every year. We didn't go last year, and this year

  59. is about to end, so we got to go. We

  60. haven't got our flight diacats yet though, so so if

  61. we don't vote, we will end up not going.

  62. So thank you, all right?

  63. So I went to Korea, and I came from Korea

  64. feeling even more diet And the one thing that I

  65. missed the most was Lasi lama. The one thing I

  66. missed the most was the mama. I can't wait to

  67. come back and eat the meggie going right. I don't

  68. know how many of you here you are you're feeling

  69. like I just can't find time to breathe.

  70. You know, we leave in the world. Let me test

  71. whether this is working.

  72. It is working when you live in a world that

  73. glorifies business.

  74. Yeah.

  75. The more you work, the more successful you are. The

  76. less you work, the more you be perceived as lazy.

  77. It's called the hustle culture. Yeah, I was just googling.

  78. What's the gen Z term for this? Is it hustle culture?

  79. Is it the gen Z? Maybe not?

  80. You know, Huszle culture tells us do more, sleep less,

  81. grind harder.

  82. How many you can relate to that? A repeaterer?

  83. Do more sleepless, grind harder. Social media celebrates the exhausted, Wow,

  84. so much accomplishments, well done. But behind the posting is

  85. a person that is devoid of ideas. Behind the posting

  86. is a person that is lacking rests. There's lacking joy,

  87. there's lacking sleep. What's the purpose of a full pocket.

  88. If you can't be happy? Amen?

  89. But God, even in the very first week of creation,

  90. check this out. He paused, he rested, and he called

  91. it holy. God called it holy. He done his work,

  92. he done his creation, And on the seventh day he

  93. took a pause not to do nothing. But if you

  94. read the scriptures, he was looking at his creation and.

  95. He called it holy. He called it holy.

  96. He rested, So, why are many believers not working? Not working?

  97. Not working? Yes, it's working. Now, why are so many believers?

  98. We're talking to the believers in this house. If you're

  99. not a if not a believer, you can relate to

  100. this as well. Why are so many of you? Do

  101. you feel that you're running on empty? I pray, I

  102. pray that there are more people running unfold and empty.

  103. But if that's you this morning, the Lord wants to

  104. minister to you. Okay, if that's you this morning, the

  105. Lord wants to minister you. Was it was in my

  106. own life as well. I just reflected on my life.

  107. Meetings after meetings, missing meetings, after meetings, after work. I

  108. met someone and someone asked me, when when there's your

  109. job end? Does it end at five point thirty? No,

  110. it doesn't end, because the text messages comes after that,

  111. the meetings comes after that, and it's just ministry after ministry,

  112. and it just gets to a point where sometimes you

  113. feel that, hey, where is this good ever going to end?

  114. Yeah?

  115. And many of us we run on empty because let

  116. me bring it to you. We find it hard to stop.

  117. We find it hard to stop. The truth is this,

  118. most of us do not know how to rest. Can

  119. I say this? Most of us do not know how

  120. to rest. You may be wondering, a I tell you

  121. what I'm sleep, king man, anyone asked me to sleep?

  122. I can sleep the whole day on no problem. What

  123. you mean? What you mean?

  124. You don't I don't know how to rest. Well, let

  125. me ask you a question. After the whole day of sleep,

  126. do you feel rested? After that whole day of sleep,

  127. do you feel rested or do you feel more retargic?

  128. We confused rest with escape. We confuse stillness with laziness.

  129. Sometimes we sleep so much we wake up we feel unproductive.

  130. Then we go like, ah, why did I just spend

  131. so much time? Because we confuse it, and in our ignorance,

  132. we reach for the wrong remedies and we end up

  133. even more drained than before. So today we're gonna look

  134. at one word. We're gonna look at the word rests,

  135. and we're gonna give you a key insight, a key thought.

  136. There's a difference between feeling tired and being at rest.

  137. You know, you can lie in bed all day and

  138. never truly rested, and you can be in the midst

  139. of the storm and be completely at rest with the Lord.

  140. Amen.

  141. You can be in the middle of the storm. Albert

  142. was just sharing while he was ministering in worship. You

  143. can be in a storm but yet be at peace.

  144. You can be in the storm but yet walk on water.

  145. You can be at a storm but yet put your

  146. head on a pillow and just sleep. So there's some

  147. circumstances and the surrounding the store dictate your rest.

  148. Amen.

  149. So we're gonna go, We're gonna we're gonna study that

  150. a little bit more. Now there's a state that we

  151. are all in, and we call this the state of restlessness.

  152. How many of you have seen a restless person before?

  153. My mom used to say your but God answer, cannot

  154. stop moving. Yeah, that's why he said the black kuk. Yeah,

  155. there's someone the black hung. I don't know what what

  156. black Kang means, but there's a state that we're all in.

  157. Sometimes we get into this state, the state of being

  158. without rest. The other word that I can use is

  159. the state of feeling anxious. Yesterday I went for a

  160. bigger ball tournament. I was so anxious that I couldn't

  161. sleep the whole night. But I woke up the next

  162. morning feeling like I don't feel like I am at

  163. nervous at all? Is there something wrong with me? So

  164. I was just restless, right, anxious, unsettled. How many of

  165. you feel have ever been in a state of being unsettled?

  166. Right?

  167. You don't know when the next job is gonna come.

  168. You don't know when your boss is gonna call in

  169. the room. You don't know when he's gonna say well done.

  170. You don't know when he's gonna scold you, anxious, out

  171. of the blues, Suddenly your manager say I wanted to

  172. see you all of the blues. Suddenly Buzzcano says he

  173. wants to see me?

  174. Like, what did I? Why is it? Why is it?

  175. Let me ask you a question.

  176. Why is it that the first thought that comes to

  177. a mind whenever your hire I wants to see you

  178. is what I do wrong? Why is it? Why is

  179. it that we think it that way? Why can't it

  180. be I just want to spend time with you, and

  181. I would just want to say well done, my good

  182. and favle seven. You can you can you just picture that,

  183. because when we see our father in heaven, that's the

  184. sentences that we want to hear.

  185. Well done, my good a fails said, So just impet

  186. you with me, God calls you. What would you feel

  187. in your heart right now?

  188. Because if your heart is in a state of anxiousness,

  189. in a state of restless, that means there is something.

  190. That needs to be fixed.

  191. Because if you are ready to face your maker, that

  192. means your job here is done. Like how when Jesus

  193. said it is done, it is finished, he is not

  194. anxious to meet the Lord.

  195. He's done. Amen. Amen.

  196. So there's a state that we're all in, and today

  197. we're going to find out a little bit of how

  198. can we turn from a state of restlessness to a

  199. state of being RESTful? Okay, RESTful? Right, that's where we

  200. want to get in. We don't want to be restless.

  201. We want to be RESTful, and that's our goal. To

  202. be full of rest, to be saturated with it, and

  203. to be all flowing with the east of God. That's

  204. the only thing that will take us from the state

  205. of restlessness to being RESTful.

  206. A man, we're getting something into a church, all right.

  207. So rest in the Bible, there's a Hebrew word for it. It's

  208. called newark. It means to settle, to be still, to

  209. be quiet, to be at peace. It is a rest

  210. thing that settles, like a bird finding its brunch. You

  211. know that I have a tree right outside my house

  212. car park, and it's spanning a span of six stories

  213. because my car parks on the fifth floor, and the

  214. tree goes all the way.

  215. And every morning, every.

  216. Evening or every morning, when I go out to world

  217. or comeback from world, I always go to that tree

  218. and I always see the same bird over there with

  219. the nests. A bird that finds a tree is at

  220. rest because he found his home.

  221. He founds his nests.

  222. But we are the one who will and take the

  223. nest and make bird's nests hallelujah. I don't know what

  224. to say about that, but it's like a bird finding

  225. its brunch. In Greek, a little bit more familiar to us,

  226. the word pause and our pauses. It's a refreshing pause.

  227. It's not the absence of activity. Catch this friends, resting.

  228. It's not the absence of activity, yeah, but the presence

  229. of a divine replenishment that means you can be in

  230. work by yet be refreshed in the name of Jesus.

  231. So don't just always sick for holiday, Yeah, but sick

  232. for the holy day in your life. Yeah, sick for

  233. the Holy One in your life. He's just saying he

  234. is holy. He is the only one that can bring

  235. us rests. This thing works intermontently. Yeah. I just pressed

  236. it twice. I don't know whether I went two slides past. Okay,

  237. no one I to point it at the point is okay?

  238. Point one?

  239. All right?

  240. So some study seven seven in the ESV version in

  241. English Standard version says be still before the Lord and

  242. wait patiently for him. Thread not yourself, over the one

  243. who prospers in his way, over the man who carries

  244. out evil devices. Now to point three, uh, statements to

  245. you before I go on. It's underlined. The first one

  246. is to be still?

  247. Can you see that?

  248. Little cute? Further says stop right, So what's the what's

  249. the methods to finding rests? This is an introduction, okay,

  250. and then went to the meetiate be still. That's the

  251. first thing that we should do when you want to

  252. acquire rest in the Lord. That's the first thing that

  253. you should do to be still. Take a pause, like,

  254. how God paused and admired his creation, and he called

  255. it holy.

  256. So if you are.

  257. Running on empty, you are running this rag race of

  258. just non stop moving. The first thing that we should

  259. do is to pause. And what pause, what pauses does

  260. is it cause you to brief. Yesterday, when I was

  261. in the middle of the tournament, right we were just

  262. playing and I was just going all out, and I

  263. just reminded myself that, hey, if I want to go further, I.

  264. Need to pause.

  265. Stop trying to go, go, go, go go. And sometimes

  266. we retreat our Christian faith that way as well. We

  267. just keep going and we do not stop to hear

  268. what God is saying to us. Right, be still before

  269. the Lord. The second thing that we should do is

  270. to wait. Sometimes we ask God today, we want to

  271. answer yesterday. And because God did not answer you in

  272. one day or two days time, you say He's not

  273. there for you and he's not hearing us. But to

  274. be at rest, it's also to know that way thing

  275. is part and parcel of the rest. To trust God's

  276. timing even when you cannot see the way. And finally,

  277. the last thing that I underline over there is the

  278. picture of someone who is anxious. I don't know whether

  279. you can feel his anxiety, but it's not to thret

  280. is to refuse anxiety, to reject the temptation to envy

  281. or fear what others are doing.

  282. Amen. So I got a slide. You can take picture

  283. because it's very long.

  284. Yeah, I don't think you can ever finish it before

  285. I move on. But what rest is? What rest is?

  286. You can't hear my voice? What rest is? Rest is

  287. let's go through a list, Okay, trusting God with the

  288. outcome of your situation.

  289. Amen. I think be quiet?

  290. Yeah, entering the presence of God and remaining there. Some

  291. of us like to enter the presence of God and

  292. when we are done, we find the exit. Res is

  293. choosing peace over panic, face over fear, stillness overstriving. Rest

  294. is a spiritual discipline, something you practice and grow in. Yeah,

  295. sometimes we want to acquire rest, but we're not willing

  296. to practice what is needed to acquire rest. But pick

  297. up all we can practice almost every day, but rest

  298. we don't want to practice. Rest is the confidence that

  299. God is working even when you cannot see it. Rest

  300. is the sabbath. What is the sabbath? Setting apart time

  301. that is wholly separated for God. Now this is the

  302. important one. What rest is not because some of us

  303. we have a very very do you have an idea

  304. of rest, But let me just debunk itto you.

  305. Rest. It's not laziness or spiritual passivity.

  306. It's not being lazier because sometimes we just today I

  307. just don't feel like doing anything badah bah. Rest is

  308. not escaping your problems through entertainment or distraction. I want

  309. to rest. Let me find something to entertain myself. Let us,

  310. let me find something to distract myself from what is

  311. happening at work, from what is happening in ministry.

  312. I need a rest.

  313. Rest is not ignoring your responsibilities or becoming irresponsible that

  314. it's not rest for some of us, like for example,

  315. myself when I went to career. Rest is not saying

  316. Rachel and the church is yours for two weeks, do

  317. whatever you want to do. Don't call me, don't text me.

  318. Whatever happened. As long as the beauty is not burned down,

  319. don't call me.

  320. That is not rest. You still have the response, how

  321. many of.

  322. You feel as a doctor during your annual life, you

  323. can say, guys, I'm doctor, but during my lever, don't

  324. call me there wasn't going through hard go and find

  325. the other doctor. No, it's your patient. You know what's

  326. happening to him. You're gonna drop everything that you have.

  327. That's why it's called an on call button.

  328. Right.

  329. I believe Andrew will have an on call button. I

  330. don't know whether you can fly all the way the

  331. Saba now, but uh yeah, but there is something called

  332. on call button, and you have to be ready.

  333. Right. It's not withdrawing from your responsibility.

  334. This one very important rest is not slipping in and

  335. calling it. But it is not slipping it and calling

  336. it the Sabbath. Oh, our God rested, so therefore I

  337. can rest as well. So on the seven day he rested.

  338. So therefore the seven day is the Sunday, and fy

  339. is not. It's actually a Saturday. But I'm gonna rest,

  340. and I'm going to call it the sabbath.

  341. Rest. I can skip church. I have I introduced my

  342. own subura.

  343. Right.

  344. Rest. It is not withdrawing from community.

  345. All the introvert people in the house say amen, because

  346. God created community. Do you know the first community that

  347. Jesus had, the twelve disciples, that was his community, And

  348. what did they do? They broke break together, they ate together,

  349. they did life together, they walked together, they learn together,

  350. they sleep together. I shall not go on, but that

  351. was the first community. That and if it's not important,

  352. why did he teach us the concept of the twelfth

  353. So introverts in the house. It is not an excuse

  354. to say that I am born and introvert because you're not.

  355. Did you know that you are never born and introvert?

  356. You actually developed into an introvert because of your choices.

  357. You choose not to talk to people from young You

  358. choose to remain comfortable. But yet God is calling each

  359. and every one of us to be brave and to

  360. be courageous. If we are introverts, how are we going

  361. to share the good news? So do not use it

  362. anything excuse I'm not putting any introverts down here because,

  363. by the way, f y.

  364. I, I myself am an introvert.

  365. Okay, I really better drain after today when I go back,

  366. which all of you can all see, trust me, I

  367. will cong on the on the sofa, trust me, and

  368. my cat will still on my face. Res is not

  369. binge watching, scrolling, social media, doom scrolling, or numbering yourself.

  370. That's not rest Okay, that is not rest.

  371. So we're gonna go into the four pillars, the four

  372. points of rest.

  373. I hope I covered that.

  374. And we're gonna go through a little exercise and I'm

  375. gonna bring this white board out because friends and family.

  376. I actually got this message in a dream, so world,

  377. wow wow, Okay, thank you Rogers and Nah Elijah, thank you.

  378. So this was a dream that I had, and I'm

  379. going to explain it a little bit further, but just

  380. have this picture.

  381. I was dreaming, obviously, and I and.

  382. I and I saw a cross, Okay, I saw a cross,

  383. and in that cross, all I could see was a

  384. picture of a serpent. Okay, it's not as cute as

  385. this snake. Thank you Elijah for for drawing this snake.

  386. If it's this cute, then I would not have been alarmed.

  387. But it was a very it's anaconda, very big snake

  388. that was circling around across.

  389. We were just circling around across.

  390. And in that in that dream, that snake can circle

  391. and not be on the ground, and it can like

  392. swove swirl around across. It was circling across and in

  393. my mind, I was just very disturbed. I was looking

  394. at it, and I woke up. That's all I had

  395. right across, a picture across and a stink that was

  396. circling around. And in that season, I was also at

  397. a state of restlessness. There was a lot going on

  398. in my life. There was a lot going on in ministry.

  399. There was a lot of decisions to make, There was

  400. a lot of responsibilities on my plade, and there was

  401. a lot of problems that were just I will not

  402. good delve to do it. But I was in a

  403. state of restlessness, okay, a very anxious state, a state

  404. of like when is this going to end? And I

  405. got that dream picture of a cross and a stink

  406. that was encircling it. Now I'm just gonna turn this.

  407. Help me turn this away so that it doesn't distract

  408. anyone here. Just turn it, yeah, facing, yeah, all right,

  409. So that's the dream, and it would make sense a

  410. little bit more lyto Okay, So I'm gonna give you

  411. the four points of rest and see how each one

  412. can be a pillar. Remember, the goal is to get

  413. in from a state of restlessness to a state of

  414. being RESTful.

  415. That's the goal.

  416. So the first point, in order to get from a

  417. state of restlessness to be RESTful is that we need

  418. to renew our mind. Amen, we need to renew our mind.

  419. We're gonna give you the points in the acronym R eest.

  420. We need to renew your mind. In other words, we

  421. have to find a place to reset our mind, to

  422. refresh our mind, and to revive our mind.

  423. Amen. Romans trail.

  424. Versus two tells us this, do not be conformed to

  425. this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

  426. The world programs us for business performances, right and anxiety,

  427. but God calls us to rest. Jeremiah six sixteen is

  428. another verse that I love is say, stand in the

  429. ways and see and us of the old paths, where

  430. the good way, and walk in it.

  431. Then you will find rest for your souls.

  432. The scripture is essentially saying to us that if you

  433. want to find rest, look in the ways of the old,

  434. the ancient ways. How it's done. What did Jesus do

  435. in the midst of the storm? How did he find rest?

  436. What did Elijah do? What did Elijah do? What did

  437. David do when he was in a state of despair?

  438. What he did he do? He sang unto the Lord?

  439. What did Moses, do look in the ways of the Old. Pause,

  440. pause for a moment. Take a look at your own life. Yeah,

  441. and pause and look what is happening.

  442. In your own life.

  443. Okay, I am struggling with my exam results, or I'm

  444. struggling with a business deal, or I'm struggling with a

  445. very bad boss. Look in the ways of the Old.

  446. So let's say you're struggling with a very bad boss.

  447. Look at the ways of the Old. Look at Moses's

  448. story and see how he struggled with Pharaoh, and what

  449. did he do with Pharaoh? What did he do? Find similarities? Right,

  450. and see and ask for the old pasts. That means,

  451. if you can't relate your current situation to what's happening

  452. in days of old, ask the Holy Spirit revealed to

  453. me and I can. I can assure you this that

  454. there is not one situation of circumstances that is not

  455. recording the Bible that you're going through right now.

  456. You are not dead special.

  457. Yeah, and let me rephrase that, your situation is not

  458. dead special.

  459. Yeah, you are special, but your situation is not that special. Right.

  460. A lot of days of Old people, they're so we

  461. are surrounded by so great a call of witnesses that

  462. are cheering us on. They are saying that, hey, I

  463. tell you what, Daniel, I have been in the lines

  464. then too literally, Daniel, come on, I've been in the lines,

  465. then should mission it go?

  466. Come on, I've been in a fire.

  467. You you think that your situation is fire. I was

  468. in the fire. I was about to be burned to

  469. crips the olden day air frier. You know nowadays we

  470. like friers. Right, they were their friar. They're being burned.

  471. What did Jesus do? He came in the midst of them.

  472. And if they can acquire the peace of God, which

  473. is Jesus, the Son of God, in their midst, then

  474. you can acquire that as well in your state of

  475. being in the fire.

  476. Amen.

  477. Because it can be done for them, it can be

  478. done for you as well. And what does it say

  479. you find out the ways you walk in it?

  480. Amen? You walk in it means what you act.

  481. On it, You believe in it, you have faith that

  482. if it can happen for shared mission when ago, it

  483. can happen for you as well.

  484. Amen. Praise the Lord.

  485. So the Lord is telling his people stalk, look back,

  486. ask for the ancient ways. Yeah, the powers of faith,

  487. surrender and have community with God. This like says how

  488. to renew your mind? So how to renew your mind?

  489. Let me give you some steps A bit small.

  490. Sorry.

  491. You renew your mind daily true reading the world of God. Children,

  492. you open scriptures daily. You read the Bible because if

  493. you don't, maybe you should.

  494. You should.

  495. Maybe parents can start to read scriptures with your children daily.

  496. They'll be nice. Open the Word of God.

  497. Parents and children alike study together one verse, two verse right,

  498. blessed ah the meek. It's like, oh, I feel so

  499. so poor today, but blessed the poor. It's okay to

  500. be poor, right, It's okay. It's okay to rely on

  501. the Lord. It's okay. Right, So renew daily to the

  502. world of God. Let scripture rewrite the narrative in your head.

  503. You think that the world is saying this about your situation. No,

  504. Let the world of God saturate your hearts, your soul,

  505. and your mind. Identify and cuts down anxiety, comparisons, and control.

  506. It is found in Second Corinthians ten to five. Have

  507. no time to turn to it, but if you want

  508. to write it down you can. But you identify them

  509. how many of you do this actively in your life?

  510. You identify the lies of the enemy, and you say,

  511. sit down and talk to my boss. Anxiety has no

  512. control over you.

  513. Darkness have no control over you. Amen.

  514. How many of you have identified situations in your life

  515. before and you go like, this does not belong to

  516. the Lord, therefore it has no hole over me. Cast

  517. it down in the name of Jesus, Amen, cast down,

  518. cast it down. Practical use gratitude. How many of you

  519. do that? How to renew your mind? You got to

  520. practicalue gratitude? How many of you do that?

  521. Right? How many of you actually practice it?

  522. Like you go like, wow, God, you are actually so

  523. good to me. Greateful mind is a rested mind, Amen.

  524. A grateful mind is a rested mind, because if you're

  525. not grateful, you're constantly thinking, why is this person saying

  526. this about me? Why this person never say thank you

  527. to me? This morning? I bought him coffee? He never

  528. bought me coffee back? Because your mind is just constantly thinking.

  529. But if you are you have a mind of gratitude,

  530. you go like, wow, this morning, I could have walked

  531. up four stories, but yet the person came and repaired

  532. the lift.

  533. In time for all of you to come out U

  534. saying the lift.

  535. But if you didn't practice that mind of gratitude, you

  536. go like, why didn't the lift get repaired in time

  537. for me? Because I had to walk out four stories

  538. or poor me? Yeah, but being being filled with gratitude

  539. is to say that, hey, at least the leaf is

  540. working for others.

  541. Amen.

  542. You see, when you start to practice having a mind

  543. of gratitude, you start to see that things are not

  544. dead after all, and that's how you renew your mind.

  545. Turn off the noise, friends, family. My wife always tell

  546. me this, but I don't really practice it. Turn off

  547. the noise. Turn off social media, right, turn it off. Literally,

  548. the news endless. Sometimes I tell you what all you

  549. have to do to find peace with what's happening in

  550. the Middle East, Just turn it off.

  551. To turn it off.

  552. Because the more you watch, the more you start to reason,

  553. the more you start to add your morality into the story,

  554. the more you start to add your understanding the story

  555. and go like, ah, how come you feel like that?

  556. Wanna the more you try to understand, But it's the

  557. peace of the Lord, that's the purses all understanding there

  558. will God your heart and mind true Christ Jesus, so

  559. turn it off and finally my wife as good as this,

  560. Maybe not so much me. Recently, I've been trying, but

  561. sometimes I kind of read my whole handwriting. So I

  562. thought that in another life I'll be a doctor. Okay

  563. I'm not, but J down, journal, down what God has

  564. spoken to you? How do you think I get my messages?

  565. Do you think that I get scheduled?

  566. And I go like what to do to preasure?

  567. I used to do that loud when I was when

  568. when I just started preaching. But recently, whenever the Lord

  569. speaks to me, like, for example, this dream, his dream

  570. was not recent now, by the way, this dream was

  571. in January. Okay, I didn't know what it means. The

  572. sting was just circling the cross for five months. And

  573. finally I now know what it means. Jo, No, now

  574. what God has spoken, what he has done. This is important.

  575. If you don't do this, I encourage you to practice it.

  576. Whenever God blesses you, write it down, whenever God bless

  577. you with thing right down, and you can call it

  578. the book of blessing.

  579. You open it and you go like, actually, God blessed

  580. me so much.

  581. House car, money, clothes, children, health, Japan, Chorea?

  582. Sorry, did I step on anyone? Japan? Corea? Let me

  583. your end to Japan, Corriola.

  584. Who Sally, you realize that I actually have so much

  585. that God has given to me. Children, You have so

  586. much right that God has given to you. Your good

  587. parents agree you man pras alive Isaiah, Isaiah.

  588. I don't know where? Okay, real Oh your mother? Let

  589. you go to camp? Oh you're right there.

  590. Sorry, Sometimes I be blind, and uh, the ballers are

  591. gonna see.

  592. Thet you go to cam.

  593. Do you think do you think? Do you think that

  594. they are not anxious? I think they Yeah, it's gonna

  595. be okay, it's gonna be okay. Mommy with daddy, it's

  596. gonna be okay, Daddy and it's gonna be okay. Right,

  597. it's gonna be okay. Michelle is very thinking. Oh but

  598. one day Norah, okay and five more years las a

  599. long way to go?

  600. Wait? How old is Laura? Oh?

  601. My?

  602. Seven five more years four? Okay? Uh? So journal, now

  603. what God has We're done for you?

  604. Right?

  605. Amen?

  606. That's how we renew our mind. Isaiah twenty six to three.

  607. Isaiah is a wonderful name. You know Isaiah great prophet

  608. as well. Twenty six three says you keep him in

  609. perfect peace. Whose mind is stayed on you? Remember this verse,

  610. but I kind of preach it a while ago. Right,

  611. His mind is stayed on you because he trust in you.

  612. The perfect piece, the Shalom Shalom, the double piece is

  613. a promise of the Lord for a mind that is

  614. fixed on God. We'll give you some warning signs. Thank

  615. you XTV for helping me. I forgot the press.

  616. Willing to give you some more signs that your mind

  617. needs to be renewed.

  618. Okay, this is some warning signs, so you say, actually,

  619. this will not epigirl to me. So look at the

  620. birth and see if any of this applies to you.

  621. Okay.

  622. You cannot sit in silence without reaching for your phone.

  623. Some of you now are fighting the urge to reach

  624. are your phone to do what I don't know, to

  625. scroll and to refresh some Facebook social media for what.

  626. By the way, when I appreciate you, I appreciate myself

  627. as yah.

  628. Yeah, because sometimes I refresh your feeder I don't know

  629. for what, and I just found out yesterday when I

  630. refresh the feed that honest thought will sacked my little bool. Yeah,

  631. and that was my reaction to yes, but you should

  632. shall We should never wish a downfall on anyone. He

  633. lost a job, Okay, just think about it. He's a

  634. human too, he lost a job. Yeah, but he will

  635. find on. But you cannot see it in silence without

  636. reaching for your phone. Your thoughts are dominated by worst

  637. cases theres dominator in everything you look at, I your

  638. sure die on dominator. You are comparing yourself to artists constantly. Hah,

  639. this is some warning signs. I'm not saying that you're

  640. there there or doom date. No, no, no warning sign.

  641. It's like syndom, syndom right about to get sick. Okay,

  642. you comparing yourself to artists constantly? You feel anxious even

  643. though nothing is wrong.

  644. Are you today? Why the bird you're bringing me today?

  645. I got rainbow. Some people look at rainbow and they say,

  646. what's the president of God? But in the promises of God?

  647. Right? But some people look at rainbow. You work rainbow.

  648. You cannot sleep because your mind will stop.

  649. That was me like yesterday. You cannot sleep because your

  650. mind cannot stop. It's just constantly processing information. Right, So

  651. this is some warning signs that you're You're mind needs

  652. a refreshing, needs to be renewed. Second pillar that I

  653. have for you is the point Emmanuel r e Emmanuel.

  654. What does Emanuel mean God with us? Emmanuel means God

  655. with us anyone named Emanuel. Here the good Namer Rachel.

  656. By the way, don't read too much into that. And

  657. here's the truth. There is no true rest without the

  658. presence of God. There is no true rest without the

  659. presserence of God.

  660. You can lie on the beach in Bali.

  661. But I put Bali because I'd never been to Bully

  662. and I really loved the beaches, and I really loved

  663. the oceans, and it's my dream the one day just

  664. lie down flat on the sand. And I then realize

  665. that actually it's not that comfortable, like now saying, but

  666. you can. You can lie down, you can sit down

  667. in the silent room. You can take a week off work.

  668. But if God is not in it, it's not a rest.

  669. It's just a pause. Sometimes now you wonder how come

  670. you can take a long break, but yet do not

  671. find rests because in your break you forgot Jesus.

  672. In your break, you.

  673. Forgot to say grace before males in your break, you

  674. forget wish Jesus good morning. In your break, you forget

  675. to do your devotion. How many of you do devotion

  676. in Korea? Because I'm really inspired by bassa kind of

  677. whoever he is at even he went to Santnila wherever

  678. wherever I went recently for a youth old night. Please

  679. don't kill me Pasta for revealing this. But I went

  680. out early to find a bathroom to bath to do

  681. my business. I went down, and I tell you what,

  682. I got scared out my wits and I went down.

  683. I saw this figure just like sitting down there brace

  684. in the Lord, this fourth the tham in the morning.

  685. But way I saw it live in action. Yeah, he

  686. was just and I was just I don't know what

  687. out Hello.

  688. You?

  689. No, I didn't know because he was just so he.

  690. I think he didn't realize I was there because he

  691. was just so fixated on the lot. There was in

  692. his rest, by the way, just there was a meeting,

  693. but he was in the rest.

  694. Right.

  695. If God is not in it, it's not rest, It's

  696. just a pause. Moses understood this too in exerta study

  697. tree for things. God said to him, my presence will

  698. go with you, and I will give you rest. My

  699. presence will go with you, and I will give you rests.

  700. In another scripture, he actually said to the Lord Lord,

  701. do not allow your presence to pass me by. I

  702. want it, I desire it, desire God's presence. The rest

  703. was attached to the presence the friends and family where

  704. God goes rest ghost. So you want rest, follow God.

  705. That's how you find rests. Amen, that's how you find rest.

  706. Come to me, all who you, all who labor and

  707. a heavy laden, and I will give you rests. Does

  708. he say, depart from me? M Does he say depart

  709. from me? Jesus only said depart from me to Satan.

  710. But to us he says. Come to Peter he said,

  711. come to the disciples, he said, come follow me. He says,

  712. come all, all friends, all who labor and a heavy laden,

  713. and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon

  714. you and learn from me. And for I am gentle

  715. and lowly in heart. For you will find rest in

  716. your souls. Rest is relational, friends, It's coming to a person.

  717. It's coming to a person, not a method. Yeah, some

  718. of us like to say, if you want to find

  719. rest at this, this is this this, This is what

  720. you should do. It's not a method. It's not a method,

  721. it is not a formula. It is found in the

  722. presence of Jesus Christ. Amen.

  723. That picture there is the picture of a yok.

  724. When I was growing up, whenever they say take my yoke,

  725. I'm thinking, like, why why take the yo? It's not yeah,

  726. f yi, children, it's not ig yoga. Yok is actually

  727. something that they put on the goats, yeah, on the

  728. on the sheep, yeah, the bulls. Yeah, so that they

  729. are tied together, not tied together, are bound together.

  730. They have to go straight.

  731. If one one bull, they don't do on the move

  732. they are the bull move what they would do go

  733. in circle? Yeah, So in order to move they have

  734. to move together. That's what a yog is, okay, not egyo.

  735. If I you're doing not ig yo, okay, don't think

  736. God's egyo.

  737. Okay.

  738. It is a partnership Jesus saying. Jesus is saying, let

  739. us carry this together. So imagine with me being yoke

  740. to Jesus means to carry something together of Jesus. Let's

  741. carry this together. Because he's young is easy, He's burden

  742. is light. Amen, he's young is easy, It's.

  743. Burden is light.

  744. We're gonna go into a little bit of how okay,

  745. so we find out that yes, we're gonna find rest,

  746. and in order to find rest, we must be in

  747. His presence. But how can we cultivate the presence of God?

  748. How can we cultivate the President of God? The first

  749. thing that we can do is to worship. Worship is

  750. not just men on Sundays. Okay, worship extreme extreme, any

  751. extremests in the house. It's not just men for Thursdays.

  752. If you know, you know, do not just cat on

  753. Thursday to worship, because worship starts long before that extreme.

  754. I'd like to remind you that.

  755. Worship starts long before the worship leader gives the song lists.

  756. Worship starts in your own room. Worship starts in your

  757. own life. What are you doing in that week, what

  758. are you doing in that month? That's how worship is.

  759. It's a lifestyle. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and

  760. into His course with praise. Amen extremists, but not just

  761. talking to extremia. Extremists. Our worship ministry band in next church.

  762. By speaking to all of us, you worship God, you

  763. cultate the presence of God. You worship him, you pray

  764. not just a two do list, friends, but a conversation.

  765. Speak to God. Listen, be still. Read the word.

  766. When you read scripture, I'm actually giving you a guide

  767. on how to actually do your quiet time.

  768. Yeah, read the word. Read scripture.

  769. You.

  770. When you are reading scripture, you are actually sitting with God.

  771. Did you know that? Did you know that?

  772. Because what is this? It's the living inspired Word of God.

  773. It is the Word, and the Word was with God?

  774. What was God?

  775. You're speaking, you're leaving, You're you're with it. You cultivate

  776. the presence of God by also honoring the Sabbath. What

  777. is honoring the Sabbath is essentially somethings aside time to

  778. look at His creation and call it holy. That means

  779. you look at what He has done for you from

  780. on Monday to Saturday, and you say that I'm coming

  781. to church. I'm coming to church, and I'm going to

  782. give God all glory for what he has done.

  783. Children.

  784. Maybe you've been to school and teachers have given you

  785. a tough week, right, but yet you are alive and

  786. you're well. You're coming to church and you're saying that, Hey,

  787. thank God. Amen, she's just trying to remember the children.

  788. Yeah.

  789. And finally, community, that's how you cultivate the presence of God.

  790. Community irons sharpens iron.

  791. Amen.

  792. Being with God's people invites his manifest presence. Some sixteen

  793. eleven says this in your presence is fullness of joy,

  794. and your right hand are pleasures forever more joyfulness, pleasure.

  795. These are the fruits of His presence, Amen, And they

  796. are environment of true rests. That is my cat right away.

  797. My cat is at true rest whenever she is with

  798. the Master. Yeah, see how whenever that's not when I'm

  799. not at Homer, me and Rochelle. When I at home,

  800. we have a c CITV in a house by the way. Yes,

  801. I bought a CITV just to want my cat, not

  802. anything else. So when I open a CCTV and I

  803. look at Snuggles, which is my cat. When I'm not

  804. at home, she's always just like sitting down one hour

  805. to our three hour for our fire hour. And me

  806. and Rachelle we occasionally check the CDV where we're about

  807. to come in. We step out on the liver, we

  808. step out the leaf. Friends literally run wait up by

  809. the way, she's a cat.

  810. She didn't do that? What did you do? What she does?

  811. It's so excited to see you know, to hear he

  812. who has a year let them hear here the footsteps

  813. of your master whatever God is in the room.

  814. You know you are excited. You go like, wow, God

  815. is here.

  816. And then when she sees me, she opens the belly

  817. and she goes like, Daddy, scratch me now, at me now,

  818. and she does that.

  819. Joy. I tell you what.

  820. If cats can speak, I can tell you that's the

  821. face of happiness.

  822. Yeah, joy, fullness, pleasure. These are the fruits of His presence.

  823. That's the same way how when we come to God,

  824. and then God is in our midst, where we invite

  825. him in worship, in word, in scripture.

  826. His presence come before us.

  827. Then we can open up ourselves to Him. That's where

  828. we truly find rest. That's where we truly find joy.

  829. Amen Elia is saying that your cat don't do that.

  830. As it right on?

  831. Are you sure? Maybe because you're not his master life? Okay,

  832. I'm sure he does it with Albert.

  833. Okay.

  834. Anyways, so I'm gonna give you some reminders over here.

  835. You cannot find rest in the absence of God. If

  836. you feel restless. The first question that you should ask

  837. is what do I need to It's not what do

  838. I need to stop doing? But where is God in

  839. my daily life? That's the first question issue us many

  840. of us he quit rest to stopping. But was it

  841. then I'm tired and you take a break. I will

  842. never say no to people asking for a break, never

  843. because I feel that it's necessary. But my follow up

  844. question to that is that what are you going to

  845. do in that break? Are you going to seek God?

  846. Are you going to keep in his presence? Or are

  847. you just going to.

  848. Take a break away from everything? Because if that is

  849. the case, then.

  850. I would like to gently warn you that you may

  851. drift further away and you may end up even worse

  852. from when you started. When it's the last time you

  853. came to God without a list? When was the last

  854. time you came to God without a list? Just simply

  855. be in his presence. You may be wondering why Sluggles

  856. so excited to see me? Maybe because I'm the one

  857. that feeds Helah. But did you notice that we found

  858. out very recently that it's not just that because she

  859. can be so full her foot plate still got a

  860. love food, But yet she still come every morning after

  861. that already fuller, still come and hit but me play Mila,

  862. scratch me La, Hello, Daddy, good morning. Can't get off me.

  863. And that's that's that's God's creation, you know. And I

  864. feel that there's so much I learned from my cat.

  865. You know.

  866. That God just wants that from us. Not always. God

  867. wears my foot, God wets my money, God wets my this,

  868. God west my healing God. Where's my this? God, where's

  869. my dad? No, he just wants you to come to

  870. him and go like.

  871. God.

  872. Uh yeah, No, shoulder to rest on our Lord and Savior.

  873. He just wanted a shoulder to rest on. You'll know

  874. the scripture, his story. All he wants with us is

  875. a relationship with each and every one of us. He

  876. wants to pour out his presence into us. So that's

  877. a question for all of us this morning. When was

  878. the last time it came to God without a list,

  879. just simply to be in his presence?

  880. Amen.

  881. The third point is to beware of the surpurn and

  882. you'll see where this is going. Okay, beware of the surpurn.

  883. The third letter S, which will translate to something later

  884. which is not certain how you smart ones will already

  885. know what it is. But you have to beware of

  886. the serpent. Friends, beware of the serpent. Satan is the

  887. father of lies, and one of his most effective lies

  888. is to offer a counterfeit rests. In other terms of

  889. fake res, okay, fake res.

  890. Consider the final two letters of the word res ends

  891. with S and T. We went through R and E right, revive,

  892. renew your mind.

  893. God is with us, Emmanuel the s Here in my context,

  894. he represents the serpent, and the T represents the cross.

  895. So here the friends.

  896. Here, this friends, if you're if you're running away, here, this,

  897. this is the enemy's strategy. Yeah, in every season of

  898. res to get to you before the cross does. If

  899. it gets to you before the cross gets to you,

  900. then you're in trouble because you find rest.

  901. You're you're trying to find rest. But he gets you.

  902. What does he does?

  903. He offers you something that feels and sounds like res.

  904. R E S t r E S sounds the same.

  905. One is the rest, one is rest. Both sounds like rest,

  906. both sounds similar, both looks like res. Both is encouraged.

  907. How many of you have ever heard arena? You have

  908. worked so hard take a holiday. I'm not saying do

  909. knack can be take holiday? I think or just went okay,

  910. no mind, there's never not enough holidays. Okay, but both

  911. sounds the same. But what the serpent does? It?

  912. Is he or it five passes Calvary altogether?

  913. It takes away the cross and he goes like, you

  914. don't need the cross because you already get rest.

  915. Why do you need the cross? And I can offer

  916. you rest rest. Don't allow rest to not end with

  917. the cross.

  918. Friends, there is a warning for all of us, because

  919. if it ends with the lines of the serpent, all

  920. you're left with is ris. And the enemy seeks to

  921. confuse us like some house you are already confused by

  922. me uh, and things that does not belong to God

  923. into our lives. That's what he does, right, something that's

  924. not of the Lord. He takes edding your life. He

  925. distracts us. He goes like, hey, have you ever conceded divos?

  926. Whoa whoa whoa wa? Where where did I just go?

  927. You just had an argument in your spouse and suddenly

  928. the enemies we spring. Have you ever considered divors just

  929. get rid of itner? Have you ever considered.

  930. Fighting back? If your daddy and your mummy.

  931. Have you ever considered being rude because politeness doesn't work?

  932. Parents?

  933. Have you ever considered using the rod on your cross

  934. on your son and your daughter? Wagg the fullorn? You know,

  935. wack cow?

  936. He is serving it all you.

  937. How any times you talim in early sudden, they ca

  938. him in the room now and whag him to kingdom.

  939. Come. But what does the lord say? Actually you discipline

  940. your child with the rod? But oh what love? But

  941. the enemy?

  942. Sometimes he whispers stuff that sounds the same as rest,

  943. but yet it is not rest. He adds things that

  944. doesn't belong to rest, and he adds it in, and

  945. you become even more and more and more and more anxious.

  946. And this is what happens, friends, This is why you

  947. end up with end up with two words us okay.

  948. Second Corinthians eleven thirteen says, but I am afraid that,

  949. as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts

  950. will be read astray from a sincere and pure devotion

  951. to Christ.

  952. It makes you a once feel.

  953. Because the serpent, as he deceived Eve, your thoughts will also.

  954. Be led astray.

  955. You know, Sapan sapan serpent the serpent is the master

  956. of confusion. But did you know who is not the

  957. author of confusion? First Corindians fourteen, the retreat. But for

  958. God is not the author of confusion, but of peace,

  959. as in all the churches of the saints.

  960. That is God.

  961. So Satan, the master, the deceit, the deceiver, the enemy.

  962. He is the master of confusion. He confuses us. He

  963. doesn't want even want you to believe that he is real.

  964. Did you know that he doesn't care you know if

  965. you think that the devil does not exist?

  966. In fact, I think that's one of his primary objectives

  967. to convince us the actual day is no hell, to

  968. convince us that actually he does not exist. It's just

  969. a figment of your imagination. But he's very real. He's

  970. very real, and as believers, we are light of the world.

  971. Do not be afraid of the duck. Children, Do not

  972. be afraid of the duck.

  973. Yeah.

  974. I was once afraid of it as well. But the

  975. next time you are afraid, look at the duck and said,

  976. I am the light. Because you are a light. You're

  977. shining in the dark. God is good, Amen, He'll be

  978. good to all of us. Do not be afraid because

  979. God is with us. If God is with us, then

  980. who can be against us?

  981. Amen?

  982. God is not the auto of confusion, but satanists. And

  983. this is what happens. He takes the rest, he takes

  984. the same. Can you look at that same alphabets? You

  985. know same, let's just rearranged, just confused. You are coming

  986. into it seeking what rest? But what you get if

  987. you do not hit the surpurn, you get stress. You

  988. get stress even sound like a sturburn. Yeah, that's what

  989. he does, do I dream? Mhm, that's all happening. You know,

  990. he was just rare surrounding the cross. I was like,

  991. look at it. I'm like, no wonder. I feel so

  992. anxious because I didn't allow my season to end with

  993. the cross. I didn't allow my season to be rooted

  994. in the cross the end, the beginning and the end.

  995. It didn't allow it to happen, but allow the enemy

  996. to come in and take over. And his voice, his

  997. noise goes like Daniel, tell you what that boy, no

  998. hope anymore. I just give up on him knowing to

  999. meet him anymore. No need, just let him go, let

1000. him do whatever you want to do. It's okay on Albert, Albert,

1001. it's okay, one, don't have to don't have to fight

  1002. that battle anymore.

1003. What's the point? What's the point forgive?

  1004. Now?

  1005. What's the point?

1006. Scriptures say forgive seventeen times seven times. You already forgiven

1007. five hundred times. So no to forgive anymore, coronel. And

1008. you get stressed, and he says, he looks at you,

1009. and he looks at you stress. And if if he's

1010. stressed too, if he's stressed.

  1011. So there's a if.

1012. Look at Adam and Adam howe if stress? You know

1013. by the way the serpent deceived. If in the midst

1014. of Adam, did you know that Adam was actually in

1015. the vicinity? He just didn't say anything. Guys, man in

1016. the house, please do not remain silent when the enemy

1017. is talking. Don't remain silent. You should be rooted in

1018. the world God. And you said, if what that down.

1019. Put it down. M hmm. Man, come on, we all

1020. have a role to play. No, I'm talking to the

1021. manor this hose. Come on, we got to rise up.

1022. We got to rise up.

1023. We've got to be soldiers ready to fight the war

1024. and not be David h when he is supposed to

1025. be in the battlefield he's nicely watching some bath. Mm hmm,

1026. ex kids stop them? Well, yeah, supposed to be in

1027. the midst of the war. But no, he's nicely having

1028. a bath. Yeah, so same same, same alphabet's different outcome.

1029. This is some of his the enemy's strategy. Next, why

1030. is my face blocking the Yeah? Okay, forms of fake rest? Yeah,

1031. just gonna run. Shoot is very quickly. Alcohol. I don't

1032. know how many of you forgot God here today this morning.

1033. Don't take alcohol. Alcohol substances. They numb you, but they

1034. do not heal you. You know they don't do that. Yeah,

1035. very quickly, Moving on binge watching endless entertainment. This is

1036. some of the rest that the enemy actually offers. You

1037. go and finished that five fifteen episodes of the Korean

1038. drama that just came out and died the next day,

1039. because you want to know what happened, ma Watchla. Then

1040. the next day your boss asks you a why lie

1041. your face like that? Why you got black eyes in

1042. your face? You just binge watched fifteen episodes of Gossip Girl.

1043. Of course, lah overwoking, over woking, over working as a

1044. coping mechanism. So you do that, right, You overwoke a

1045. lot Yeah, toxic relationships or your fantasies, your escape and

1046. this is the temporary comfort that deepens the wood.

1047. You don't address the issue, you go deeper into it.

1048. You just take a pause.

1049. Social media, Yeah, constant comparisons sleep as an avoidance a

1050. oh my goodness, friends and family. You know, sleeping does

1051. not take away the problem. You know.

  1052. It doesn't.

1053. So if you are really stressed, you know, instead of

1054. taking a long sleep twelve hours, take a short net maybe,

1055. and then spend the rest of the time talking to God.

1056. But the enemy is saying, take the rest, take the rest,

1057. take the MC. Oh, take the MC. Now it is

1058. so easy to get em C. You know, doctor.

1059. Can I get empts here and.

1060. Talking about myself, by the way, none of you are

1061. you know, I'm just saying this is the this is

  1062. the enemy.

1063. Enemy. Sometimes we said that, I know you're so tired.

1064. No get M One thing.

1065. I admire my wife Andre. She never take MC her

1066. life maybe in her working life eleven years. The she

1067. takes MC three days and very rarely should the MC.

1068. I think the I think the father and mother trainer

1069. very well to rely on Chinese medication every time, as

1070. to go and see doctor h Chinese medication. You know,

1071. root costs, Root costs, Root costs, Doctor Andrew. I'm not

1072. saying that Western medication is bad.

  1073. It's not. It's good. I love Western medication.

1074. I love my antibiotics, although I think that it's not

1075. the greatest to keep taking antibiotics. I alas always call

1076. my wifriend, Oh, I know the antibiotics. Actually, I don't

1077. know what antibiotics does though, just simply feeding your body

1078. something that you shouldn't be eating. But she always healthy,

1079. always well, right West Western medication. Okay, So sleep, sleep,

1080. don't sleep, don't sleep too much. First Peter, because First

1081. Peter five it says, be sober, v vigilant, because your adversary,

1082. the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whomever

1083. he may devour. So even in your rest, be vision

1084. and not anxious. The last point I have for you,

1085. where the clothes very quickly, is the cross. The cross,

1086. lean on Calvary, lean on Jesus. That's the final letter

1087. of the word rest. The cross is where Jesus bore

1088. every burden. You were men to carry, You are men

1089. to carry this word and.

  1090. Sin.

1091. Punishment of sin is death, separation, from God. But God

1092. love us so much that he sent Jesus to die

1093. for us. He took your sin, He took your shame,

1094. your anxiety, your striving, your exhaustion, and he nailed them

1095. to the cross, the wood of Calvary, the tree, and

1096. then he said it is finished.

1097. How many of you are happy grateful that he said that.

1098. Wouldn't this have been so much more stressful if he

  1099. said to be continued.

1100. Imagine Jesus hung on the cross and he went to

1101. be continued. Well, imagine that man to be continued. Good

  1102. season two the misician.

1103. Everyone of us have to carry across and be hung,

1104. because there's the penalty of sin. But he took it all,

1105. and he said it is finished.

  1106. It is finished.

1107. He Brews four nine to ten says, this is not going.

1108. So then there remains a sabbath rests for the people

1109. of God. For whoever that enters into God's stress has

1110. also rested from his works, as God did from his.

1111. It is about entering the rest that Christ accomplished on

  1112. the cross.

1113. This is what a cross says. The cross says it

1114. is already finished. Imen, Amen, Church, he is already finished.

1115. You do not have to complete what Christ has already

1116. completed someone us here a thing that we need to

1117. do that need to justify our works, justify our faith.

1118. Yeah, our works is the word again, the salvation. That's

  1119. what we think.

1120. So we keep working hard and hard and hodder. But

1121. God is saying, take a break, take a break, take

  1122. a pause.

  1123. Rest in me. Right.

1124. The Cross says your guilt is gone. You don't have

1125. to keep striving and keep to keep going to be good.

  1126. Enough for God.

1127. Friends and family, stop thinking that they're not good enough.

1128. He'll stop it. Not seriously, all the all the young girls.

1129. I'm speaking to the youths here. I always whenever I minister,

1130. the young people are they always tell me that I'm

1131. not great enough. Hello, you are good enough because God,

1132. the Son of God, has died.

1133. For you across you are good enough. You're good enough

1134. for him to die for you. Hello.

1135. Okay, he loves us so much. You are accepted. Some

1136. ofways need to hear that again and again. You are accepted.

1137. You do not have to perform for love. You do

1138. not have to perform for God's love for you. Stop

1139. trying to strive thinking that. You know, if I miss

1140. one day or church, I need to perform time and

1141. time again. If you miss if you miss it, you

  1142. miss it.

  1143. Just go to him.

1144. Spend time with God, and he says you do that.

1145. The more and more you want to come, the more

1146. and more you want to be in His presence. You

1147. know that in the presence of the saints, there he is.

1148. As well, when through a tree are gethered, he's there

1149. within omitst. So if you want the presence of God,

1150. come and be united, be edified together. You know the

1151. the edification of God's word doesn't just come from the

1152. pull bit. It comes from being encouraged by one another

1153. as well. It comes from the hellos. It comes from

1154. the hey, brother, can I pray for you?

  1155. Right?

1156. The cause says the enemy is defeated. You do not

1157. have to fear what the serpent may do. Some closing

1158. points before we're close. True, rest is not what you do,

1159. is about what he has already done. Amen, It's about

1160. what he has already done. Your rest thing is the

1161. lack of faith. You rest because you believe the cross

1162. was enough. So some of you here, maybe you don't

1163. believe that the cross was enough. That's why you think

1164. that you keep on have to work for the salvation. No,

1165. you have already been saved and Jesus has already done

1166. it for you. Amen, Repent, receive, remember, return, Take a

1167. picture if you want to. I'm not going to cover

1168. on this, but that's how you lean on the cross.

1169. You repent, come to the cross, you receive. Every Sunday

1170. you give you an opportunity. Right, do you remember you

1171. remember when you have anxiety, Remember that it's done.

  1172. It's done.

1173. He has already won. The Satans with spring is not done.

1174. The same satence we spring that you need to work harder,

1175. you need to do more. No, Jesus is saying it's done.

  1176. And return.

1177. Make the Cross your daily center of rest, your cominion,

1178. your prayer, Return the Calvary.

1179. Amen. Now this is how I want to close. I'm

1180. going to explain the dream very quickly. The cross. The

1181. cross represents the four points of rest.

1182. Right, I'm just going to put in the letters here,

1183. and this is how the Lord ministered to me and

1184. revealed to me what the cross is about. Okay, so

1185. let's start over here. This is the first point that

1186. the Lord ministered to me. What does stand for? He

1187. stands for e manue. That's the next light.

1188. So actually, what I didn't realize in the dream, did

  1189. I did that?

1190. I didn't reveal to you that in the background there's

1191. actually something. There was the cross, there was a stake

1192. that was circling, and they later came to a memory

1193. that there was also a burning bush. There was also

1194. a burning bush that was in the background. So the

1195. entire backdrop is actually a bill of of fire. Just

1196. remember just in visionists. So the Lord Specks spoke to me,

1197. and that means that you whenever you want acquire rest,

1198. you must remember me being my presence, that I'm always

1199. with you. Amen, I'm always with you. And then he

1200. this is the the part where it gets a little

1201. bit interesting, at least to Mela. Okay, then he revealed

1202. to me what the snake or the surpurn represents. Well,

1203. to many of us, we know that the satan, the

1204. surpurn represents Satan. It was a very very very very

1205. very very very very disturbing picture. Actually, it was one

1206. of the most ugliest snakes stags that I've seen in

1207. my life. I don't know whether he had one hit,

1208. two hit, and I don't know. Okay, this was a

1209. snakler and yeah, it was bounding around it's just riding around.

1210. And he appeared on one side off the cross, and

1211. I was asking God what it meant. He revealed this

1212. to me. Okay, so Luke, when he treated did I says,

1213. then one of the criminals who hang blesh him. Him

1214. saying if you are the Christ, save yourself and save

1215. us sounds so million. This is what we always do,

1216. you know, we always go to Christ asking him to

1217. save us, but we forget that he's already done. We

1218. forget that he's hanging there on the cross to save you. Brother,

1219. you are literally in the presence of God, you know,

1220. but yet you do not believe. And some of us

1221. the danger is that we may be in his presence

1222. by yet we may not even believe. So that is

1223. represents the other guy, the other thief that was hanging

1224. on a cross, because in Metel four five to six

1225. says this. Then the devil took him up into the

1226. Holy City and set him on the pinnacle of the

1227. temple and say to him, if he see that they're familiar,

1228. they sound the same if you are the son of God,

1229. Like how the thief said to Jesus, if you are

1230. the Christ, it's questioning his identity because he doesn't believe

1231. in who he is. If you are sort of God,

1232. throw yourself down for his written he shall give you

1233. his angels chargeable. This is what the devil does. He

1234. confuses us. He uses scripture, but he didn't quote the

1235. whole scripture. And Jesus said, depart from me, do not

1236. blash him, do not do not confuse. That's what the

1237. thief that. And I believe that this is my own

1238. interpretation that the man on the cross on the right

1239. hand side of the eleventh side. We don't always side,

1240. but I believe that he was influenced by the devil.

1241. I believe that he was confused by the devil because

1242. all he cared for was himself. And we have to

1243. be careful friends in our season of rest. We have

1244. to be careful of the devil. Amen, we have to

1245. be careful what the say. What the enemy is saying

  1246. his lies, his stories.

  1247. Will be careful.

1248. And then he revealed to me this There was another

1249. person on the cross. Remember, Harlen Luish praised the Lord

1250. for he who should not be named. I don't know

1251. what's his name. Let's just name him Bob. So praise

1252. the Lord for Bob because Bob spoke to Sob because

1253. Sab is just constantly crying and sobbing and are being

1254. all said, Bob spoke to Sob there was influenced by

1255. the serpent, and he said that, hello, wake up, I believe.

1256. I'm perfect saying yah, I believe. And what's happening over there?

1257. Because remember Bob didn't start off believing. You know, Bob

1258. actually was also questioning, remember what is happening over there?

  1259. Romans twelve, verse two.

1260. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for you

1261. will be able to prove what is that good, acceptable

1262. and perfect will of God? And what is the will

1263. of God that all should believe, that none should perish

1264. and have ever lost in life. So Bob decided to believe.

  1265. And where's Bob?

  1266. Now?

  1267. Where's Bob?

  1268. Now?

1269. Bob is with Jesus? What is if our Bob is

1270. with Jesus in paradis? Ah Leelujah, praise the Lord. So

1271. the enemy may be circling the cross, but you just

1272. got to remain in the presence of the Lord. Both

1273. were in the presence of the Lord. One chose to believe,

1274. one chose to not believe. I don't know where Stop

1275. is now, but I know where Bob is. A man, Bob,

  1276. I'll s you when I get to Bob. When I

1277. get to heaven, I asked, where are you, Bob? Everybody

1278. say hello to Bob. Brahm when you go to heaven, Yeah,

1279. says Daniel. Gave him a name called Bob, but he

1280. was He's there because he believed. And finally he revealed

1281. to me the last slide is this the other? This?

  1282. Bob?

1283. Yeah, answered rebuke him, said do you not fear God?

1284. Seeing that you are under the same condemnation. Jesus said

1285. to him, Ima, surely, I say to you today you

1286. will shall be with me in paradise. And finally, the

1287. last part that was revealed to me is that we

1288. have to be anchored in the cross. If you didn't

1289. know what this represents, it represents the roots. Roots begin

1290. to grow from the tree. In my dream, roots began

1291. to grow and he went deep. He went deep. The

1292. roots began to grow. And do you know that the

1293. cross represents a tree? Did you know that friends, the

1294. family the roots? And what is the roots? The last

1295. letter is t he represents the cross. And I pray,

1296. friends and family, that you will anchor your resting in

1297. the cross. Iman, anchor it because he is the anchor

1298. of your salvation. He is the cornerstone of what, believe

1299. it last light. John Tree sixteen says, for God so

1300. loved the world that he gave his one and only

1301. begond and son. The whosoever who believe in Him shall

1302. not perish again, ever lasting life.

  1303. Amen.

1304. So what is rest? What is press? This is my

1305. last write. I promise what is rest extremely can come up.

1306. Res is not a concept. Res is a person.

1307. Amen. Res is a person. Hallelujah, Praise the Lord. His

  1308. name is Jesus.

1309. He is your Sabbath, he is your peace, He is

1310. the steel waters, and he is your green best.

1311. Amen. So find rest, friends and family.

1312. Maybe you are maybe you are tired, and uh, I

1313. don't know if this word is for you, but I

1314. want to encourage each and everyone of us to continue

1315. to remember that, even in the scene of rest, do

1316. not allow the serpurn to deceive you. Because what you

1317. should always remember that at the end of the day,

1318. this serpurn was turned into a savior. Amen, that the

1319. serpurn will be canceled out from the cross. It's gone

1320. because Jesus hung on the cross. The two thieves, they're gone,

1321. one into Paradise, one just into the grave. But he

1322. who hung on the cross on the third day resurrected

1323. Reason from the grave, and the empty tom was found,

1324. and he is now on the right hand of our

1325. Father in Heaven, Amen seated on the throne. So, friends

1326. and family, I want to just stand your feet right now.

  1327. I'm just not a minister for a while. It's combined service,

1328. so we can take it along a bit, a little

1329. bit more. But if that's you and you're feeling tired,

1330. you're in this place where you just want a little

1331. bit of comfort from the Lord, just assuring you that

1332. everything is going to be okay.
