And so Genesis one, verse one, okay, and all you

are like, hey, it's only preating from one verse, not

the whole chapter. This should be quick and done with

by Genesis chapter one, verse.

One just reads like this.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth,

and here maybe it's a paraphrase version that I'll give

to y'all. A long time ago, when nothing else existed,

the God who had always been there, brought into being

the entire universe, everything in outer space and planet a paraphrase, okay,

So that we maybe just grasp it a little bit better,

you know, I think it's important that I try to

also explain it in the language of today's world. But

the early chapters of Genesis have been for many people

of argument. Then is the source of answers and truth,

you know, questions like who made God? Questions like did

Adam have a nagbel? I don't know, actually don't. Sometimes

we asked me that this that Adam have a nabel?

Maybe maybe not. Maybe if God wanted him to look uniform,

then yeah, he just put a whole there for the

sake of putting a whole there, even though technically Adam

didn't He wasn't connected to anything. It was made from

the girlund Yeah, I think some things we reach heaven,

we go and check Adam out.

Okay.

So I don't know whether it's a neighbor or does

Adam maybe he has a huge gash along his rip

because that's where Eve came from. I don't know. But

you know, all these questions, know who made God? Sometimes

it's actually an oxymoronic question who made God? Uh? It

is like you're asking who made the maker? Is like

putting it is like trying to fit the square in

the box and a circle together.

It doesn't make sense.

But yet Genesis has thought of, created and contrive all

these different kinds of questions that people want to know,

all sorts of answers to, and instead of giving us answers,

is actually created more arguments. And it's such a controversial battlefield.

A lot of conflicts have a reason just out of

the few verses in Genesis. But as believers, we need

to realize this. If the first sentence of the Bible

is a lie, I assure you the entire Bible is

a lie. If the first chapter of the Bible is

a lie, everything else is a lie. And that is

something that we need to really go all the way

and trust and believe in it. And that's one of

the reasons why I'm bringing us back to Genesis. That's

why I answered it in that way. And you know,

some people will be like, did you really need to

go all the way back to Genesis Chapter one, verse one?

How is that even relevant to me in twenty twenty six. No,

in the phase of unemployment, nuclear warfare that is happening, recession, inflation,

I don't know what possible connection could there be between

the beginning of our universe and where I am now. Well,

let me highlight how important it is for us to

have our beginning established. I think it's really important. Number

one is this, The past is always key to the present.

What you will will determine what you will or what

you are right now.

That's the truth.

That is why if you apply for a job, they

will ask you for a reference. They will want to

know where you are coming from and what you are

like there, and then they will know what you will

likely be here. So the past is not something that's irrelevant.

That's the reason why we study history. I know a

lot of you like history is complete rubbish. No it's not. Actually,

there's a lot that we can learn from history. But

the second thing we need to realize is this, the

past is also a key to the future because where

you come from usually also indicates where you will be

going to, and so an.

All full lot of things hangs on this.

The present and the future are both tied back to

the beginning. If you don't have the beginning right, you'll

probably misinterpret the present and the future, and you will

get those wrong as well. And that's why does that

not cover everything past, present, and future. And there is

a vital, important reason why we go back to the

very beginning, because it is this not what revival is

all about. We are in the team of Revival this year,

and I think we need to be revived back to

God's origional plan and intention for us and his creation.

I think it's so important for us to know what

it all is from the beginning, and so as of

it all, when a person asks me a question like

how do I.

Know God is real?

It's almost like an existential question. It's the same question

as who am I how did I get here? How

did all this come about? Is this even real? Is

this a figment of my imagination?

Is dueal? Like?

No, actually not really there? But he's there. And I think,

you know, we have all these kinds of questions. I

think it's important because you see, there's always going to

be a constant battle for the mind. And the people

who believe in the first sentence in the Bible are

actually in a very small minority in today's world, in

to this day nh. And that's the reality of it,

because there are many other answers to these live questions.

And of course we will ask how come why there's

too many other answers, because the truth is we are

constantly bombarded through the mass media, in every school, all

over the internet. This is a battle. There's a battle

for people's minds that is actually ongoing. Why should a

battle be so important? Well, the answer is this, the

mind is the key to the man. And if you

can capture a man's mind, you have got him. Because

in Proverbs chapter twenty three, verse seven, it says, as

a man thinks in his heart, so is he So

the kind of thing you are constantly thinking about will

determine the kind of person you are. The Bible also

tells us that you are not to be chamelions, but

to be caterpillars. Do you realize that when you read

Romans Chapter twelve. The first part, verse one tells you

that we are to present our bodies as a living sacrifice.

The second part, verse two tells you that we are

to not conform ourselves to the world, but we are

to allow God to transform our minds. Basically, this is

what it's telling us. Don't be a chameleon, be a caterpillar.

You know what a chameleon is. A chameleon is a

kind of lizard that wherever you put the lizard on,

it will take on the colors of its surrounding. Put

it on a black chair, it turns black. Put it

on something maroon, it turns maroon. Put it on Joel's

butty in my explode. I don't know. It's like just

so many colors boom. But we are asked to be caterpillars.

Why because the word actually in the scriptures, the exact

word that you translate that transform is actually to matter

more for size. Is that a correct word? You're the

bad basically is to transform from the inside.

Oh, that is what it means.

And that's why it's so important that we don't conform

to the world around us. Don't allow our minds to

be filled with the bombardment of other views that we

are constantly getting.

Don't be a chameleon.

Be a caterpillar that goes through a process of metamorphosis

and it changes from the inside and outcomes a beautiful butterfly.

And so Paul says, don't let your mind be conformed

to the world around you, to the thinking outside you,

but let it be transformed. Let it be changed from

the inside. That's very, very important, and that is really

what we are going to try and do in these

chapters from Genesis, because it is so easy to pick

up the world's thinking and not let our minds be

independent inside. The battle for the mind is real, and

the battle for the mind is essentially the battle for men,

and this world is trying to get men's attention and

trying to lure men into believing that this is what

the truth is. This is the business sometimes between science

and scripture. But it must be explained because the truth is.

I'm not saying science is completely a fallacy, is not

relieve in a scientific world. That's the truth. That's the

reason why we are studying all the sciences. Know it's

got to do with life. Both are looking at now

we are looking back to the same event, which is

the beginning of the world. But science is looking at

the visible part of what is happening. It is looking

at every part of the event that can be seen,

and it is describing how they interact, how they affect

each other, whereas scripture is looking at the part that

cannot be seen.

It's a little bit different.

The premise and the platform is slightly different because science

usually will tell you how and when certain things happen,

and also what happens because it's describing well. Scripture will

be telling you who is behind it and why it

all needs to happen. And therefore there essentially different commentaries.

Albeit they're trying to provide answers to lives questions. So

if a scientist is going to analyze a kike, that's

the key. For example, they can tell you the exact

temperature a rich the chemical reaction of the baking powder,

and the calorie count, but no amount of lab testing

will tell you that the cake was big because it's

your grandmother's birthday and she loves you. That's the truth.

Right to know the why, you have to ask the baker.

It seems complimentary rather than contradictory, two halves of a

whole story. And you would expect, therefore, that scripture and

science would always agree, But that's not the case. They

are both talking about the same thing and the same

God we believe made the world, and his words, and

therefore they ought to agree because God is a god,

God is a god of truth. Then why should science

and scripture ever disagree? Why should there be so much

controversy about Genesis? Well, because they are actually battling over facts.

Signs seems to say that this earth is billions of

years or more, whereas Genesis seems to say it was

less than a week until human history began. It does

not seem to tie up, right. It is a difference

of facts because they both can be right. And whenever

you come up against that difference, both sides have to ask,

did signs really prove then? And the other has to

ask the scripture really say that? We have to ask

these kind of questions, And ultimately, to sum up this

entire battle, is this simple question, did something produce someone?

Or did someone produce something? Best thinger, did something produce

someone or did someone produce something?

Because you can't really sit on the fence on this.

You can, of course choose, do not care, which a

lot of us couldn't be borded whatever. Okay, but that

will affect how you live now and in the future.

Either we believe that something that means a matter, energy,

or whatever you like, was always there and produce someone

and the personality was produced by things, or we believe

that someone was there, always there who produce something. And

this is the simplest way to explain the difference between

science and scripture. Another perspective is to see the dichotomy

of choice and chance. Okay, when we read the scriptures,

we do not believe it is by change that the

beginning happened. We believe it was choice that got it

all started. So you will find that those who believe

that something was always here and produce someone will live

by luck. They will appeal to change, They will say

the best of luck to you, because that's what chance is.

And those who believe that someone produced something will say,

this universe is my home, because this is my other

father's work, and that is just how they will be

different in their outlook, different in their perspective. So it

does have a bearing on your daily life. Do you

understand me now why science and scripture we need to

understand it because you will either get up and believe

that you are in God's world and He's in charge

of it and He's in control of your life, or

you will get up and you will say, well, I

hope I have better luck today. It will tell you

whether you will get on your knees to create an

unseeing God or you will leave it to chance, because

science tells you that, well, at least one of the

hypotheses of science tells us that we came from nothing.

Boom and voila, we are here again. It is only

a hypothesis because no one can fully prove that, But

yet we have taken that as the truth that we

all came from nothing. So let's now go to the

first verse of Genesis chapter one and see what it's

telling us, because this is the sentence that convinces me

that God is real. You know that you will not

find this sentence in any other religion in this world,

not written in the way that it has been written

not carrying the same meaning as it carries in this

very first sentence in the Bible. So let us look

at it in the beginning. It's a pretty radical statement.

Actually.

Sometimes we like to read it like once upon a time,

like as do it's a fairy tale, like Genesis.

Is all who snow white? And the Seven Duars.

But no, in the beginning tells us that our universe

has not always been around forever. But a lot of

people actually believe the opposite. A lot of people think

the universe has been eternal. So right with the first verse,

you are actually faced with faith. That's the truth. God

was a ready and always is it, even before there

was any beginning. God is the originator. And I remember

this if you remember reading the Book of Job. And

the Book of Job is probably, if not the oldest

book in the entire Bible in terms of its age. Okay,

it's an ancient, ancient, ancient book. And you remember God

saying to Job, this were you there? Where were you?

And I laid the foundations of the earth. This was

of course after Job. God allowed him to go through

hell and back. He allowed the devil to tell him

by Job was a man who lived right, even though

there were so many voices, voices of his buddies were

telling him otherwise. But this was the same person that

can actually say naked, I came into the world naked.

I will leave this world. The Lord gives and the

Lord takes away. But blessed be his name. He said

it right from the very start. Actually, I think it's

in the early chapters of Job. But yet he went

through all the trials and all the challenges, and he

managed to come out at the other end.

But what did he have?

Some doves I reckon he did, And in those doves

this is God's respond to him.

Were you there? Where will you?

When I laid the foundations of the earth, Where will

you when I brought the snow in?

Where will you when I set the limits to the oceans?

And Job was humble enough to say this, I wasn't there,

Because that's the truth, right, We weren't there. And I

think that kind of humility is actually called for when

you approach Genesis chapter one.

We had to come humbly.

And say, God, you were there and I wasn't there,

And that means I should come humbly and listen and study.

But a lot of times we are like God, I

don't know you're real. Prove to me you're real. No,

until I see the proof, I cannot believe in you.

You see in the beginning.

God, nothing else, No, just a person called God. And

the Bible does not try to even prove his existence.

It says you will have to begin by believing in God.

Definitely not. You have to be argued into you have

to be persuaded into believing that God is in existence. No,

the Bible just takes it boom. And the very first

step in understanding reality and understanding the truth about our

universe is to start with the hypothesis that God is real.

You have to You know that this is actually a

very scientific approach because every scientific discovery is dependent on

someone who had faith that it was there. That's what

the hypothesis is. You hypothesize that something is going to

be like this, and so I'm going to research to

prove whether my hypothesis is right or wrong.

That's what research is all about. You start off, Nila.

I mean, I remember I started all my hypothesis when

I did my research, my master's research about the effectiveness

of community based educations for refugees that was the research

that I was doing, and I believe that it worked,

and I set out therefore to prove that it works. Uh.

That's the reason why until today we are still involved

in helping migrant children and refugee children with education, because

I think if we take a step back, it will

be more to their disadvantage that it will ever be

to ours. And that's why we got to be there

helping people. But it always starts off with I believe

this is right. It's faith right. And so you believe

that something is there, you go searching for it until

you find it, and only your hypothesis becomes fact. See,

the Bible does not try and argue the existence of God.

It just says in the beginning God, you do not

have to explain God. You have to explain everything else.

The existence of God is not a problem. It is

the existence of this world that is the problem. It

is the existence of me and my sin that is

the problem. And this is why the Bible starts with

the originator always being there, and he goes on to

describe this God in the following verses of the scriptures.

So if you read on, and I'm going to highlight

some of the things that we will read on. As

we read on in Genesis, you will find that this

is the God in whom you are dealing with. This

is the God who is the God who made all things,

and it is for you to discover God. I think

it's really really important. But this is what I have

gathered from the scriptures. The first one is this he

is a personal God because we never refer to him

as it. But he he has a mind that thinks,

and what a thought it wants to produce this universe? Right,

He taught it out and it came to pass. He

has got a will that decides to do something and

then acts on it, and he does it, and he

looks at what he does and he says, oh boy,

this is great, this is good. That's how God created

all things that we see around us. And if there

is a mind, there is a heart, there is a will.

Means that he is a person. We're not dealing with

a force. We're not dealing with who. We are dealing

with a person who thinks, who feels, who acts someone

I can understand because I am a person too. People

sometimes ask me how to pray to God, and I understand.

It's a valid question, and I tell them you have

to pray to God, talk to him like you are

talking to a person. You need to understand what that means,

because for a lot of us, our relationship with God

is not personal. Our relationship with God is. We are

trying to make it as scientific as possible. You try

to make it as scientific as possible. It's going to

be hard talking to someone you cannot see. And so

they ask me by I don't know how they're saying,

how do you talk to your girlfriend like talk? You

can talk to your girlfriend when when? When when she's

not physically present?

I can.

So you need to find a way to personalize God

because he is a person. He's not a thing. He's

not he's not an inanimate object.

You know.

The funny thing is humans we have made. We have

allowed ourselves to talk to many inanimate objects. We have

worshiped all these things. Though we can worship anything from

an idol to a speaker, to our guitar to our

God given talents.

That's the truth.

But yet it becomes so hard to talk to a

personal God. So the first thing I realize is this,

he's a personal God. Second thing is this, he's powerful

God just has to say it, and it is that.

That is power.

And God is a powerful person. Let there be light,

and there it is. He is personal, he's powerful. What

else the scripture tells me? It tells me that he

is actually a very orderly person. Because when I look

at the order in the universe, the way in which

things are so beautifully arranged, the way the insects fit

the flowers, the way everything is in place. My God

is an orderly god. You know, you think of your body.

The human body is a remarkable work of creation. Everything

works in order when you don't go mess it up

with cholesterol or.

Not that kidding.

But most of the problems we are the ones that

it's whether ours our original sin or is the original fat?

I don't know, but everything is supposed to work in order.

Uh it may not be you know, symmetrical or all,

but it's beautiful, so organic.

But when everything works in order.

Actually, scientists don't know why the human body stops. I mean,

if you think about it, it was actually made. The heart

is made to beat forever. There's no reason because technically

we are always generating. Our every organ is generating. It regrows,

it reproduces, but yet, and of course we know the

answer is sin, and sin has caused this body to

deteriorate eventually and to diminish. But year, we still believe

that God is orderly, and that's why he has still

come back to put all things in order eventually a man,

but accept this because when we look around us, you're

really God is orderly. How all things coexist, it's amazing.

How your body functions is nothing short of a miracle.

The next thing I notice is this God must be

very creative. He produces different snowflake. Every snowflake is different,

every blade of grass is different. Every one of us

have got a different tumpret. Every one of us looks

uniquely different. How is he anything less than creative? All colors,

shapes and sizes. Who could actually think these kind of things?

Up here?

We have a creative God, and that's why each and

every one of us is made creatively in his image.

Amen.

The next thing you realize is this he is a

singular person. There is only one God. And what a

relief it is to know that there is only one God,

because if you believe in millions of gods that some

people do, you'll be worried all day, which God you offended?

In fact, maybe even worse, you'll be worried all day

which of.

The gods offended you.

That's the truth, right, And that is why it is

known as a you Ni verse because it is a

uni God who made the universe and there is only

one God that we have to deal with.

Everyone say amen.

But Genesis one also tells us he is actually a

plural god. What does that mean? What you mean, smoking elder,

is there something not right?

Well?

In Genesis Chapter one, verse one God, the word God

in the scripture is the Hebrew word ellaw him. It

actually should be read God's in the beginning, God's created

in Hebrew elohim is plural, but the verb that is

used is singular created. And I want you to realize

this also, for that's a Hebrew word that is confined

to to duel, and that is the word elo him.

But the scripture never uses the word elo him because

we know God is not just dual, He is trinitarian.

So right from the very beginning in your ancient holy scriptures,

it's actually the word God's and low him. That is

a mystery that doesn't have to remain mysterious in all honesty,

God has a plural name, and year a singular verb

is used. Then later on, especially you see that the

creation of men, Suddenly God had a conference, let us

make man in our.

Image to be like us.

Then you'll probably be wondering, God, what have you been smoking?

Wit sudenly.

Singular plural. But in the rest of the Bible we

will find out what the mystery is. It's actually the

lovely mystery that God is a family, father, son, and spirit.

And he gets me excited because it means that God

had a wonderful family right from the very start, and

he wanted to share this loving bond, so he created humans.

A lot of people ask me, God nothing else better

to do, why did he create humans? Well, the only

answer that I can conjure up, honestly is this he

had a family, and because what he had was so good,

he did not want to keep it to himself, and

so he created us to share what this love is.

Isn't that exciting when you realize that this must mean

that love existed before the universe, because if God was

only one person all alone, he not be love. Because

love is something that you can only have with someone else.

It doesn't make sense. To be a stand alone and

try to understand love, it doesn't make sense. It means

that love was always there. That is why in one

John chapter four it says God is love. God is

love makes sense only because it's alone Him and not

just one God. In that sense, hence, before any matter

was created, Love was there. God is both plural and singular.

Makes sense.

All this is in your holy scriptures right from the

very beginning, does it? Does it not? Does it not

blow your mind? It blows my mind sometimes when we

realize that it's there, and when we think, oh, it's

so hard to understand the Trinity. But yet, right from

the very stunt, God the Father was there at the

beginning of all creation. God the Son was there, Jesus

was there, and the Holy Spirit was there. They were

all there together.

Amen.

The next thing you realize is this, He is distinct

from creation. He was there before he created the universe,

and he wrested from it afterwards and had nothing to.

Do with it for a day. He had a day off.

And that is something very important because you must never

get nature and God confused.

God is quite separate from nature.

He can control it, but he is not identified with it,

and that is why we don't worship nature. But yet,

at the same time, there's a lot of people that

worship nature, even though we can be in all of it.

It's normal to be in awe of nature, but never

mistake nature for God. He is distinct from nature, Okay.

He is the one that's in control of nature. Genesis

one also tells me that God, who made all this,

is good, and I love that phrase good God. This

one puts those two words together. That means that everything

he touches is good, everything he makes is good, and

everything that is good brings him pleasure and pleases him.

That's why at every point of creation he says it

is good. He likes to see good things because He

is a good God. The next thing you realize is this,

he is like us. And isn't that an amazing thought.

I would have thought that God would be so unlike me,

I would never be able to fully understand.

But He is like me.

I've got two hands, and God understands that because the

Bible talks about the hand of God. I've got two eyes.

The Bible talks about the eye of God. I've got nostrils.

The Bible says that God can actually smell nice things,

nice aroma, and he can also pick up stench. I've

got ears and we know he hears us. I've got

a mouth that I can talk, and you know he talks.

I can go on and on, you can talk about

every sense, every different, the real census, right, Yeah, that

you have in your body, and you can identify with God.

We are told that, I know. We are told that

he is spirit. He doesn't have a body. Yes, we

all know that to a certain extent. But it means

that every physical function is like him because he can

do it without a body.

The same thing. But that means that he is like me.

And that is why when we read the New Testament,

we are told he has a body here on earth,

and this body is the Church and the ecclesia. The

Church are people who are called out to live for God.

And so why is it that we can identify with him?

Because we are part of his body. We are not

so different from God. Yes, there are definitely some differences.

I'm not going to go into that because there will

take another ten sermons to talk about it, but I

understand this.

We are not.

Far away from each other. Sometimes we think of God

as someone who is aloof, someone who is a part,

someone who we can never reach because he's just too

superficial to be true.

But that's not true.

Or sometimes we think he's too supernatural to be true,

but that's not true.

Also remember that.

Okay, the next one is this, he wants to reproduce himself.

I think the desire in all of us is to

have children, especially if you're married. Okay, if you're not married,

then don't desire that. Yet that's his desire as well.

And I mean as a parent, I'll never forget the

day that my children were born, because it's quite an

incredible moment.

Actually, when you look at.

Your wife and you're like, boy, look at what we did,

look at what we created, and know we have in

a way reproduce ourselves. God is like that. He wants

to reproduce himself in us. So remember that he wants

to reproduce himself. The next thing is this, he is alive,

which means that he is active, which means that he's

doing things. Science we think God did everything, really and

he's taking a back seat, chilling and relaxing.

He's not.

He's at work and he's continued. He continues to be

at work, he's busy, and finally he is a communicator.

He learns to talk to others. He's always talking. Genesis

one is full of him saying things. Do you realize

that if God was not a communicator, then we would

not know much about him. But he literally spokes us

into being, and therefore today we still have his word.

Thank God, Thank you that you are a God who talks.

You are a God who speaks, and your God who

puts your thoughts into words, and you communicate it to

your people.

In the beginning, God who is God, he is all

those things and more. I'm not going to cover any

more than the time that I have, but that is

the truth. In the beginning, God created. And there are

two words used in Genesis of what God did at

the beginning. Created and may is two different words. And

I want to tell you the difference between those two words.

It is actually quite an important difference. The biggest is

that after Genesis, in the rest of the Bible, the

Word made his use of men. Okay, in the start

you will see God doing two things. He's creating, he's making,

But the Word made thereafter in the scriptures is only

use of men.

Noah made and uh the.

Hebrews trays slaves in Egypt, they made breaks. Bazillel made

the tabernacle. But never, never, once does the rest of

the Bible say a man created anything. And that is

I like our more than English understanding, because when we

talk about such a great piece of music, we're like, oh,

that's a wonderful creation, is a marvelous creation.

But the Bible never talks like that.

It keeps these two words very separate, one for God

and the other for God and men. So the word

made can be for God and men. And take note

of this very important distinction. The word make is the

Hebrew word assa a sa. The word means very simply

to manufacture. It is a craft word. It means to

take a piece of wood and make a chair out

of it. And if you take some material and you

change its form, and you have therefore made something that

is something that you can do and something that.

God does as well, and a lot of things.

In Genesis one he made He took the material that

was there and he made something else, and he changed

his form.

A ship he made it, God made it.

But there is another word that is usually used a

little bit more sparingly. It's only used three times. And

this is the word created. The Hebrew word is barah,

which no man can ever do. And why do I

say that, Well, to create is something we can't understand,

because we can't do it. I have never created anything

in my life, nor will I ever, because to create

means to make something so new that it was not

there before, not in any shape, not in any form.

It was not there. That is what created means.

The three times that Genesis one talks about creation are

in relation to matter, life, and men. At those three

points God was not making, He was creating. All the

other points, he was refashioning what was already there. But

for matter, life, and men. God was putting something so

new that only he can produce out of nothing. Certain

things he created that were not there before. So matter

was not there, God created it. Life was not there.

God created it, and man.

Was not there.

And therefore we are His wonderful creation Amen. In the beginning,

God created the heavens and the earth. In the beginning,

God created brought into being what was not there before,

the heavens and the earth. Both heaven and Earth have

sort of like a double meaning because you will find

that heaven refers to the sky, it refers to our atmosphere,

and then heavens refers to what we call outer space.

Okay.

Earth also has double meaning, so we use the word

earth for the land, but we also use the word

earth for the whole planet.

Okay, So have this in mind.

Heavens and Earth means everything in outer space and everything

on planet Earth makes sense. And that is what God

brought into being, and he was not there before. Does

this not just make us want to worship at this

point when I think and think about it, you think

about the size of the universe, and you know what,

I'm almost done. Hallelujah, Praised the Lord. Did I lose

any of youall? I hope I didn't. But whenever the

worship team feels ready, you can flow in. But think

about this, sir. You think about the size of the universe,

which we are now beginning to only realize. Our little

Earth is maybe around eight thousand miles across. If you

went on the journey through our galaxy at the speed

of light, it would take you one hundred thousand years

just to get through our galaxy. And that galaxy is

one of many other galaxies. I may be wrong it,

maybe I'm don't. Don't take me for it, but it's

just big la.

Okay.

If you think our Earth is big, outer space is huge. Okay,

just think, just thinker that God made planet Earth and

from that word onward Genesis one is entirely concerned about

this little spec in the entire universe. The rest of

the Bible is concerned with this little planet.

Don't you find that amazing?

And God says that it is the most important place

in the universe to him. It is no because a

lot of astronauts have gone around and they have never

seen any other planet with any green things on it.

There's no life. Think about it.

God felt that this was the most important place in

the universe to him, so important that he actually said

to his son, this is where I want you to go.

And it was where they were going to work out

the whole future of the universe. That's where I'm going

to put people. If it was just in the beginning

God created the heavens, I think we would all have

understood if it stopped right there, because we can make

sense of it. The heavens, God's dwelling place. Okay, like

we understand, But he didn't stop there. In the beginning,

God created the heavens.

And the earth.

How on earth did we come about to have that

kind of significance in his holy scriptures? And that's where

we all come into the picture. Do you know how

significant we are in god creation and in his grand plan?

All of us have value, not because we are an

after taught or we are an accident, or we came

into existence because of chance.

No, don't live like that.

Don't live like as though you're an accident, or you

are a product of chance, or you are a product

of a big bang that you came from nothing. No,

none of us came from nothing. All of us were taught.

We were taught, true, we were not an after taught.

And therefore this is how it all begins. And that

is why I believe in God, our creator, because the

Bible tells me so right from the beginning. That was

how I answered the students in ten thousand less words.

But I told them the answer to your question why

I believe that God is real. It's because the first

verse of the first chapter of the first book in

the Bible establishes the reality of God. And it's not

just a reality that is make believe it is a

reality that is the truth, because you will realize the

words reality and truth are actually one and the same

word in scriptures as well. And I pray this that

the truth becomes our reality and that the reality becomes

our truth, because if we are shaken to think that

Genesis and the Word of God is a fairy tale,

it's a mythology, then we will be very very misinformed

and we will definitely live our lives very very differently.

But I pray this is wherey revival happens when you

know how important you are to God's plan and purpose

for his entire creation. Because none of us exist for

no rhyme and reason. I really believe God has a

perfect plan and a perfect purpose.

For each and every one of us.

It is therefore our responsibility to live out that plan

and that purpose in accordance to His will.
