  1. You're listening to a message to go from axt church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your tea.

  3. I just want to share with us and just encourage

  4. us again. If you've been walking with the Lord, this

  5. would be a simple reminder again to us.

  6. And yeah, we whether. I don't want to ask a question.

  7. I want to put it as a statement ready for

  8. God's or our master's use.

  9. All right, Jesus is our master, and we're ready for

  10. the Lord to use us. Amen.

  11. All right, We're gonna look at two contrasting people, one.

  12. Young and the other one older.

  13. Two contrasting people, and how did they respond when the

  14. Lord spoke to them?

  15. All right?

  16. So the first person we're gonna look at is Mary,

  17. all right, the mother of Jesus. Okay, before she became

  18. the mother of Jesus.

  19. In Luke.

  20. We're gonna look at Luke chapter one. And if you

  21. have your bibles, you know, when you come to church

  22. you can bring your bibles.

  23. You can bring your bible to your office as well.

  24. Print bibles are hard to come by these days, so

  25. if you haven't got one, let us know.

  26. We'll help you.

  27. Because I found that it was some bibles are like

  28. getting harder to buy.

  29. I don't know why.

  30. So the new King James version and a particular tie

  31. brand we cannot buy anymore. It's like out of like

  32. do you know why they don't grin or something. So

  33. make sure you get a copy of Keep your Bibles

  34. and bring bring your Bibles to church.

  35. Have so you do quiet time at home as well.

  36. So we turn to Luke chapter one, and we're gonna

  37. I'm gonna ask STV.

  38. To help me with the versus.

  39. So this is my key verse, but we'll go through

  40. so that everyone can read together. Okay, I'm looking at

  41. my time, and I must end by nine to thirty, right, okay,

  42. so I got twenty minutes ago, all right, all right?

  43. So look chapter one. Okay, look chapter one.

  44. Thank you.

  45. Look chapter one, and this is the Angel coming to

  46. visit Mary.

  47. Hey man, how many have you read this portion of scripture? Yeah,

  48. I'm sure you have ya. Okay, So so here is

  49. the Angel coming.

  50. So looking at verse twenty six onwards, and I'm gonna

  51. read there. Would you follow me either if they managed to?

  52. If not, you have your bibles?

  53. So Luke chapter one and verse twenty six.

  54. Now in the six month, in the six month the

  55. angel Gabril was sent by God to a city of

  56. Galilee named Nazareth, to.

  57. A virgin.

  58. Be trotted to a man whose name was Joseph.

  59. Any.

  60. Joseph said, Mary's here, Gose's suddenly my SAYI is God's will?

  61. No, no, I'm not saying you all right, okay, to

  62. the virgin name.

  63. Mary's been throtted to a man named Joseph of the

  64. House of David. All right, verse twenty eight. And having

  65. come in, come in, you know. The angel came in

  66. and said to Mary, rejoice, highly favorite one. The Lord

  67. is with you. Blessed are you among women? And then

  68. verse twenty nine. But when she saw him, she was

  69. a bit troubled by his saying and considered what manner

  70. of greeting was this? Because he say, hey, you are

  71. highly favored by women. Whenever someone says you are highly

  72. favored of the Lord, you must say amen, right, because

  73. you're highly favored of the Lord.

  74. Amen, all right.

  75. And then after that he says, the angel said to her,

  76. do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor

  77. with God. And behold, well, you found favor with God.

  78. And then here's the great news. Behold, you will conceive

  79. in your womb and bring forth a son, and you

  80. shall call him Jesus. And he will be great and

  81. will be will be the Lord God, and will be

  82. called the Son of the Highest. And the Lord God

  83. will give him the throne of his father David. And

  84. he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and

  85. of his kingdom there will be no end. And then

  86. Mary said to the Angel, how can this be, since

  87. I do not know a man. I'm a virgin. Okay

  88. verse thirty five. The Angel answered and said, the Holy

  89. Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the

  90. Highest will overshadow you. Therefore also that the Holy One

  91. who is to be born will be called the Son

  92. of God. And now indeed, Elizabeth, your relative, also conceived

  93. a son in her old age, and this is now

  94. the six months for her, who is called Baron. And

  95. then verse thirty seven, the Angel says, for we've got

  96. nothing will be. And then Mary said, behold the maid's servant. Behold,

  97. she says, behold, the maid servant of the Lord. Let

  98. it be to me according to your word. And the

  99. Angel departed from her.

  100. Amen, hallelujah. Wow.

  101. The Angel says, highly beloved, a highly favored one, you

  102. are beloved of the Lord, and guess what.

  103. You're going to have a baby. And then you are virgin?

  104. And then how prayer?

  105. And then it's like, oh, I'm so highly favored by

  106. the lawd And then but now I'm going to have

  107. a baby.

  108. What good news is this? But it was good.

  109. News, and she was a virgin, and something took place

  110. supernaturally for Mary. But look at her answer the first one.

  111. She's been confused, why are you talking to me?

  112. Who are you?

  113. And then suddenly you say, hey, I'm going to bear

  114. the son of God. This is even possible. But she

  115. was about about how many years old?

  116. What do you think? He was about fifteen? Maybe fifteen

  117. now young? Maybe some say twelve even.

  118. No, I don't know, Wow, maybe fifteen maybe fourteen young?

  119. She was just a teenager. All right, imagine you're teenager

  120. suddenly pregnant.

  121. What will you say, father's in the house. What did

  122. you do? Oh, we don't know what our father's will know?

  123. Right? I remember my dad when when you know they

  124. always say if you get pregnant before you marry, you did, right,

  125. And I really saw it. My dog got pregnant impregnated

  126. by a outside the dog.

  127. You know. He climbed the hedge of my house, you know,

  128. and he's so yan na Charry the girl.

  129. Right. He came into my house under the high fence

  130. with the tea leaves those days. He I don't know

  131. how he came into the house and he impregnated my dog.

  132. And then my father that morning he took a stick

  133. and he hit the dog. And even if the dog

  134. couldn't climb a wall, he climbed the wall. He was

  135. such an ugly dog. Now, I always seem okay, I said,

  136. what an ugly dog. He was so ugly, and he

  137. came to my pretty girl and he made her pregnant,

  138. you know, my daughter. My dad I took the figure

  139. and beat him now, and beat him and yet to

  140. climb back the edge to go out on the road,

  141. you know. And then I looked at and said, girl,

  142. don't you get pregnant.

  143. Before you're married.

  144. I had to like, oh my gosh, Dad be kind.

  145. But my dad was so passionate about his pet, you know,

  146. our pet dog right see you, How can you dare

  147. come and be pregnant my daughter?

  148. You know, And there's a dog, so I said, the daughter.

  149. It happens to the doctor gone, both the daughter and

  150. the guy will both die. Yeah, so be beaten, you know.

  151. So bad news or good news, we don't know. Imagine

  152. the time that they were living in. To find Mary,

  153. a young virgin pregnant, and Joseph had the thought, if

  154. you read on that, maybe I should just quietly put

  155. her away because she's already engaged, considered wife.

  156. Already, but then impregnated.

  157. And then the Holy Switch spoke to Joseph and said, no,

  158. this is a thing of the Lord.

  159. So it was supernatural. Imagine the time they were living in.

  160. It was bad news in the sense culturally, how can

  161. a young girl be pregnant?

  162. Right? But here it is.

  163. She responded with saying, okay, Lord, I am your handmaiden.

  164. Here I am whatever it is, O, Lord, do according

  165. to your word.

  166. There was this such a I don't know, call her brave,

  167. call her courageous.

  168. At fifteen or twelve, or thirteen or sixteen, she was

  169. so brave, so courageous to trust that it was.

  170. Of the Lord.

  171. Someone who heard the Lord, heard what the angel had

  172. to say to her, and received that command of the

  173. Lord that she would carry the son of God.

  174. And yet she had no clue all this time, what

  175. is this? Who is this?

  176. And even as she watched Jesus, you know, as he

  177. grew up, she kept a lot of things in her heart,

  178. just pondering what was God doing?

  179. Amen?

  180. But this is a respond confused what is happening? And

  181. then I'm gonna get pregnant. Never slept with a man before,

  182. and you know months later, three months later, you're usually

  183. three months it takes it find out.

  184. Oh, I'm pregnant, all right. So that was Mary, and.

  185. Then the key verse for us, because firstly she says

  186. in verse thirty four, hey, how can this be? Since

  187. I do not know a man. I'm engaged, but I

  188. have not engaged him yet. And then in verse thirty eight,

  189. Mary says, behold the maid seven of the Lord. I

  190. am the maid seven of the Lord. Lord, according to

  191. your word, let it be such a surrender. This is

  192. not for everyone every day in terms of getting pregnant.

  193. No, it never happened.

  194. Again, immaculate pregnancy does not happen anymore. Jesus came one time.

  195. Done really, So for the rest of us, follow the way.

  196. Get married first and then have the child, all right,

  197. No pre marital sex and allever, just get married.

  198. And then do all you want because you have license,

  199. license to do.

  200. Okay, before that, No, remember I what we young people are,

  201. so you can ask me what I say to them.

  202. They are very well educated. No, I don't tell him

  203. how to do as he stopped doing. Get married first.

  204. You want to get mad tomorrow, so can I'm pastor

  205. I can marry you better to marry and just than

  206. freely do not before because there would be just out

  207. of the question.

  208. All right, Now, that was Mary.

  209. The other person I would like to speak to about

  210. is Moses. Another m Okay, Moses. As you know, Moses

  211. was really raised as a prince of Egypt. He was

  212. a prince.

  213. He was raised by Pharaoh's daughter, all right. He was

  214. a Hebrew.

  215. But as you know, in the Book of Exodus, chapter one,

  216. two three, you can read how his mother wanted to

  217. save him because she looked at this baby. Moses said,

  218. what a good looking child. I cannot bear to kill him.

  219. So I'm going to just, you know, put him through

  220. the river and see where he leads him. And he

  221. led him to the princess the pharaoh's daughters bathing quarters

  222. and bathing quarters, and then she raised him. So he

  223. was raised as a prince in Egypt, all right, very

  224. well trained, very well equipped.

  225. He knew, he spoke well, he.

  226. Had a lot of cultural training, very well equipped. You

  227. can read that in a book of Acts where they

  228. say Moses was very well trained in all of the

  229. ways of royalty knowledge. And you know, he was just

  230. a clever man. But when you come to the book

  231. of Exodus, you remember what happened to Moses. He knew

  232. from a child that he is a Hebrew, and then

  233. he will one day.

  234. Deliver his people.

  235. And so as he walked out walking one day, he

  236. saw he saw an Egyptian army guy or the you know,

  237. the master, beating the one of the Hebrew servants, and

  238. he thought he was helping.

  239. He took his authority.

  240. He killed the Egyptian master or the man that was

  241. beating the Hebrew guy, and then he buried him somewhere,

  242. thinking nobody saw, thinking that he had saved and helped

  243. his own people.

  244. But the next day, when he.

  245. Saw two of the Hebrews fighting against each other, he

  246. said to them, hey, hey, whoa who, brothers, don't fight

  247. l You're all brothers, right, Just cool it. Lets let's

  248. let's work it out better. And then they turned around

  249. and said, who made you a judge?

  250. You want to kill me?

  251. Or so?

  252. Then he panicked.

  253. So without knowing whatever he panicked, he said, oh no,

  254. and found out the Pharaoh is going to come and

  255. kill me, gonna catch me and kill me, and.

  256. So he ran away.

  257. He was forty years old when he tried to help

  258. his own Hebrew people persons.

  259. And at forty he ran for his life. He ran

  260. and ran and ran and ran to.

  261. The desert Egypt. It is a desert, so what's the difference.

  262. It's a desert, right. If anyone's been to Egypt, it's

  263. a desert, right. And so he runs and runs. He

  264. meets his future father in law, and then he marries

  265. I think her name is zip O Rah zip Hey,

  266. zip zip it okay zip And then they have children

  267. and he lives far far away from where Pharaoh is.

  268. And then one day he has a burning bush experience.

  269. So I'm giving you a summary on leah. Okay, he

  270. has a burning bush experience. And this is where we

  271. go to Exodus chapter three. Thank you so much XCV

  272. for helping me. As I said, I won't remember by

  273. they're helping me.

  274. Okay.

  275. Exodus chapter three. So the story goes that he has

  276. already run away, and where do you find And you've

  277. heard me say this, where do you find Moses? After

  278. all the years he's running, he ran away. He goes

  279. into the desert. Where do we find Moses? Well, Exodus

  280. chapter three, verse two, Verse one says he was at

  281. the back side of the desert. Not only was he

  282. in the desert, he was at the backside of the desert.

  283. He went to the depth of the desert to hide.

  284. He lived for the next forty years of his life

  285. in fear, in regret.

  286. I'm imagining all.

  287. The emotions that he was living through, nobody knowing, not

  288. his father in law knowing nothing. He didn't you know, ruel.

  289. His father in law didn't know what was it. He

  290. carried the guilt, he carried things that was in his

  291. past all these years that he just took all the gold.

  292. He became a.

  293. Farmer, a shepherd, and he shepherded all the goats and

  294. the sheep at the backside of the desert, not just

  295. in the desert, but in a far away part of

  296. the desert.

  297. I can't imagine you get lost in the desert.

  298. I've never been in a desert if you have, if

  299. you ever have been, what does he feel like? Instand? Yeah,

  300. so Moses was eating sands and then he lost his

  301. ability to speak. He lost he suddenly like gave up

  302. all his you know, all his princely abilities.

  303. That he started to speak like the sheep and the goats.

  304. Hello, Moses, hella low ah bah, I am yeah.

  305. I don't know.

  306. He started the stammer because forty years keeping quiet made

  307. some babies keeping quiet go to the side, backside of

  308. the desert, jagga, all the sheep and the goats.

  309. He became a goad himself. Okay, how do we know that?

  310. Because when the Lord came in a burning bush, the

  311. Lord found the right time.

  312. Forty years later, he's eighty years.

  313. Old now and at the backside when nobody knows the

  314. Lord met him with at a burning bush experience.

  315. How many you want? How many? If you want a

  316. burning bush experience? I don't know it. Will it be

  317. exciting or would it be scary? All right?

  318. And thank god it says yeah in Exodus chapter three

  319. in verse two, and the Angel of the Lord Exodus

  320. chapter three and verse two, and the Angel of the

  321. Lord appeared to him in the flame of fire from

  322. the midst of a bush. And then he looked and behold,

  323. the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was

  324. not consumed.

  325. Amen, that's another miracle.

  326. So here's a young girl who is a virgin and

  327. she gets pregnant by how?

  328. By how? No man, I'm know, no man, virgin. Yeah,

  329. it's a bush. It is just a bush.

  330. It's burning, but the leaves don't get consumed. So Moses said,

  331. I will now turn aside verse two and see this

  332. great sight.

  333. Why the bush does not burn. Hallelujah.

  334. Somebody say, amen, Amen that Moses turned aside. See, you

  335. could have a miracle about to happen, but you could

  336. pass it by. Moses could have been so down in

  337. the backside of the fire, fire, in the backside of

  338. the of the desert, and forty years of regret, forty

  339. years of guilt, forty years of nobody knows what I'm

  340. gone through. He probably stopped talking to God and as

  341. he walked and he saw this, he turned aside. Thank

  342. God for some curiosity, all right, thank God for some interest,

  343. because he could have been so down it's just desert land.

  344. He could have fallen himself.

  345. I'm seeing things, but it was a sight to behold,

  346. and he turned aside. Well, thank God for a turn aside,

  347. because if there was no turn aside, there won't be

  348. a story for us to read about Moses. Harlelujah. So

  349. he turned aside and he looked at this burning bush.

  350. And then from the midst of the burning bush, the

  351. Lord saw.

  352. Wow. The Lord saw that. He turned aside.

  353. Wow. He turned aside, and the Lord saw and then

  354. God called to him, Moses, Moses, and he said, here

  355. I am. He jow up, you know, so to somebody

  356. who is like a goad, but he actually jow up.

  357. Here I am.

  358. He.

  359. He was so shocked that the bush was talking to him. Yes.

  360. And then the Lord said, don't draw near, because this

  361. is holy ground. Take off your sandals. He took off

  362. his sandals. And then the Lord says, I am the

  363. Lord God. You're of the Father, the God of your father,

  364. the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the

  365. God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he

  366. was afraid to look upon God. Why do you think

  367. he hid his face? Suddenly the man of the God

  368. of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

  369. A memory, a reminder that there is a God, and

  370. this God has come to visit him, that he had

  371. to hide his face.

  372. He cannot be happening. Why is this God?

  373. Maybe afraid, maybe a shame, maybe just you let me down.

  374. I don't know why, what emotions?

  375. His emotions were, all right, And the Lord said, And

  376. then the Lord told him I need your help.

  377. I'm gonna use you to deliver my people.

  378. Go to Egypt again and go and deliver the whole

  379. Hebrew nation. All right, And of course we have all

  380. kinds of unswers excuses from Moses as you would have read.

  381. So I've taken verse six here.

  382. Oh sorry, Exodus chapter three, and verse six is what

  383. I have on my slide. Yeah, Mob, he said, I

  384. am the God of your father. So he reminds him

  385. who's who he is, Hey, Moses, I am the God

  386. of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac,

  387. the God of Jacob.

  388. And then Moses hides his face.

  389. And then it's not my next light, which is Exodus

  390. chapter three, and it is verse elevens I wrote the

  391. wrong verse there. Verse eleven says after God says in

  392. verse tem come now, come, I will send you.

  393. But Moses answer is, who am I?

  394. That I should go to Pharaoh and that I should

  395. bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. Suddenly it's

  396. who am I? So this is the other encounter Mary

  397. hadn't encounter. Moses is not encountering the Angel of the

  398. Lord to the burning bush.

  399. And so God calls him.

  400. And now God says, come, and then he says, he

  401. asks all the questions. If you've read the book of

  402. chapter three, he says, who am I?

  403. Now?

  404. Suddenly who am I? Who am I? Because he's lost already?

  405. Now who am I? Because what am I gonna tell Pharaoh?

  406. I'm the one who killed the Egyptian master?

  407. Right? Who am I? And what shall I say? Why? Why?

  408. Why would the children of Israel even believe me? Not

  409. only did he ask who am I? Later the next

  410. verse he goes, who are you? What?

  411. Later he says that what will I say? Who? Who

  412. sent me? Who sent me? Who? Who? Who am I? Who?

  413. Who are you?

  414. And then God has to say, tell them, I am

  415. I am send you. Wow, He's telling God is saying.

  416. God said to Moses, I am who I am? And

  417. you shall say to the children of Israel, I am

  418. has sent you. Now, God is thinking this should be

  419. good enough for Moses. But as you know, he had

  420. a lot of other excuses. To the point of the

  421. excuses like I cannot speak. Well, that's why I thought,

  422. he said, speak like a good la. But suddenly he

  423. started two stammer right, and then from who are you?

  424. Who am I? To who are you? And finally he

  425. just God was still very patient. If you read it,

  426. answer him, got answer him. And finally he really made

  427. God angry. Has anyone you made got angry?

  428. He made God angry by saying, God, just send someone else. Love.

  429. I think if he was a word, just go up, please, God,

  430. just go youse someone else. Can you imagine the king

  431. of kings, a lot of lords. He couldn't bring himself.

  432. He just felt I can't anymore because of either his guilt,

  433. his shame. Maybe it was like, ha, yo, you see

  434. you never helped me. God, you know these people. Then

  435. he said, just send someone else. And yet God said, okay,

  436. you are gonna go with your brother. Lah okay, I

  437. will give you the word side and then you will

  438. tell your brother and your brother will speak for you.

  439. Because God had an appointment with him, Amen had a choice.

  440. So my title says, ready for our Master's use. I

  441. want to encourage us this morning, as long as we're

  442. walking on planet Earth, brother and sisters, as long as

  443. we're called to him, be his child. Amen, we want

  444. to be ready for our Master's use. Amen, for God's use,

  445. for God to use us, for us to serve. It's

  446. a privilege to serve the lot in what area, whatever

  447. way that that He will call you to.

  448. Amen.

  449. I mean we have We've got a lot that actually

  450. in our church here next Okay, I hope everyone is serving.

  451. I hope everyone has a chance to serve something, do something.

  452. And then there are also ministries that maybe you you

  453. you will have that that is that that we might

  454. have that we didn't you didn't Nolah, Like we have

  455. chaplaincy ministry where some of I don't know why, but

  456. the elderly be my aunties and uncles in our church

  457. who are about my age sixty, they go on a

  458. weekly basis to minister to the to the homes for

  459. the agypt for the people become patients palliative care, and

  460. once I don't know how many times in a month

  461. they actually visit and our led by our uncle Ben,

  462. and they go and all our ladies, and he's the

  463. only man, and they go ad minister to all these

  464. patients and the home of the agent. So that's a

  465. ministry that they're doing. They're very happy to do it,

  466. and the other ministries as well.

  467. But something that we can do. Ready to just.

  468. Say, Lord, here, I am use me. And there are

  469. many ways, of course, to serve the Lord. So I

  470. want to encourage us this morning, as a child of

  471. God and saved of the Lord washing the blood of

  472. Jesus called by the name, can I encourage us? Can

  473. I encourage us all to have to take part in

  474. ministrying to before the Lord, and also as the Lord

  475. will call you to serve in some way, some way,

  476. so that we spread out our duties.

  477. Spread out. We'll call it duties, call it the privileged itself.

  478. So Sony doesn't have to be an XTIV every Sunday,

  479. all right, all right, So that Roy doesn't have to hold.

  480. The camera every Sunday, all right.

  481. But if we take turns, then everybody has a whole

  482. part to play. So I want to sort you, my

  483. brother and sisters, for someone who's been serving since I

  484. became a a child of God, a believer.

  485. At the age of sixteen.

  486. I've been serving the lot, and I had the privilege

  487. to serve in small, small ways and continue to serve.

  488. I tried not to serve for one season of my life.

  489. I tried.

  490. I just said, Lord, I'm a young adult. Now I

  491. have to work and I'm busy. And so I didn't.

  492. I was serving in youth ministry. I was in my twenties,

  493. and I said, no, it's too much, right, And so

  494. I decided to work over time on Saturday and not

  495. go for youth fellowship.

  496. Oh my word, I like I wasted my whole Saturday.

  497. I don't know.

  498. I was doing eating Roadija and document my Maley friends,

  499. doing being.

  500. And talk again like I added no value.

  501. I mean I wish I had added value to my

  502. colleagues law, but I was just lost in my working mode.

  503. And then the Lord said, are you ready now? Okay.

  504. I went back to youth ministry and haven't come out

  505. of youth ministry since. Ooh, all right, you are my

  506. energy work with young people.

  507. Okay Alla. Yeah. I was at CAM and it's forty

  508. old woman. Forty You old woman said Pusser, what tablet

  509. are you taking? I I'm forty. She has three children.

  510. She said, I'm so tired, you know, you know, after everything,

  511. I'm just so tired.

  512. What's wrong with you? But what tablet? Yeah?

  513. Tell tell me that me give me the supplement. Now

  514. I take Jesus, amway, Jesus. I'm the way, the truth

  515. and the life.

  516. Okay. Uh.

  517. The and really it's we work with young people so

  518. many years now never stop.

  519. Uh, it's just God right, the joy of serving.

  520. I want to implore your friends, there might be many

  521. things behind us, behind us.

  522. I two went through different things. You know. Gonnamara Gonna

  523. was holding off for my leaders. I was like, I

  524. want to help me know.

  525. I volunteer myself, you know in church, you know, when

  526. I was a campus student, I went there. My pastor

  527. you passed go in photocopy. So I went to the photocopy,

  528. which she's so happy, not against spur.

  529. You know. During my holidays, I went in the photocopy

  530. and Dinna.

  531. The which I come from a very big church, had

  532. an administrator and he was a retired colonel. Colonel all right,

  533. he was a retired colonel. And he's call your uncle uncle,

  534. go and sugget you know which one?

  535. What were captain?

  536. I don't know that I was just going to photo

  537. copy that what are you doing here?

  538. I became most.

  539. Foot poll copying wyma me lefre center. I was, well,

  540. I don't ask to anyone. Course, I'm not playing with

  541. the machine, you know, I'm just doing the job. But

  542. I maybe thought, but I can understand. It's the office equipment.

  543. You should have the office stuff. Do that, not like

  544. who are you don't even have a tag? You know, No,

  545. didn't have my tech didn't have the tag, you know,

  546. and doing that. So I could have been offended and

  547. say so done with you? Yeah, the latest words now

  548. young people are not older.

  549. I'm so done. I could have said that, and I'm

  550. so done.

  551. If I had said I'm so done and got offended

  552. by this uncle, I don't think I would have been

  553. serving and gone full time.

  554. Now I'm full time because I'm so done.

  555. So the person could have been weird and naughty at whatever.

  556. But God, I'm still answerable to the Lord.

  557. You know. I'm still answer about the Lord because the Lord.

  558. I cannot blame uncle, Uncle sargean uncle Captain's colded me

  559. because I was just trying to help the photocopy, help

  560. my youth pastor. I could have blamed him and just

  561. walk away and say I'm so done and walk away

  562. and walk away for a long long time. But I didn't,

  563. I thank God because I was young. I was just naive, right,

  564. Oh can I I? Okay, go back to youth past.

  565. The past cannot lie. Someone's colded me. You know, sometimes

  566. we have we carry that past a certain hour dayscolded

  567. me or that elder or that parcel or whatever.

  568. And we can carry these things.

  569. And so as we grow older, we we we find

  570. it's very hard to serve. The lot are hard. We

  571. want to serve the loan, so we serve other ways.

  572. But I have to say God teaches us through the house. Okay,

  573. ex Quota Community is a very new church, and I

  574. want to share with you that maybe we care like

  575. Moses forty years eighty years of backlock. Let's take the

  576. backlock and just say, you know what, these backlocks don't

  577. count for eternity.

  578. Church.

  579. I have to tell your backlock doesn't come for eternity.

  580. Does God care for your feelings? Well, depends how your

  581. feelings are. If you're gonna be about cursing other people,

  582. then you better start repenting. Yeah, hey, one young person,

  583. tell me I love cursing people. You love cussing people, yes,

  584. So what do you want to change? I want to

  585. stop cussing people? Very good? All right, don't gus curse people.

  586. Don't go bad for you, bad for your health. You're

  587. all young girls.

  588. I love to cuss people. What you do, good, younger.

  589. So what do you are you gonna change? Yes? I

  590. want to change.

  591. Okay, let's pray together that you will get to stop

  592. cussing people.

  593. All right, So we need to move forward.

  594. I want to say to us, are you a marry

  595. Why are you a Moses? Both ended up serving the Lord.

  596. Amen. But sometimes when we were younger, we might be

  597. a little bit more.

  598. Naive, like, okay, but I understand, Lord, you're my master,

  599. bid according to your word. And then you have a

  600. Moses who carries a backlock, who carries some paths, who

  601. carries maybe some guilt, carries some herds, and the Lord

  602. had to corner him and speak to him to a

  603. burning bush and call him back and say, come, Moses,

  604. I do have a purpose and a plan. God didn't

  605. let him go and moved him into serving no matter

  606. how old we are. Church is not for just young people.

  607. It's funny right. First of all, you find children so busying?

  608. Are you so noisy?

  609. Lat children?

  610. And yet you want the young people to serve Hello,

  611. adults in the house. Noisy kids will become young adults

  612. like you. But we have to nurture them. We have

  613. to nurture them. That's why we have children in the house.

  614. I even had people complain, you know, in when we

  615. were in Subangjana or church, that are your pustle, saying nois.

  616. He a lot of the children? Is it? Thank God?

  617. Is it? My church has a future? If I got

  618. no children in the house, we don't have a future.

  619. I need a future, and I thank God for the

  620. children in the house. So we raise children did become

  621. responsible young adults into young parents.

  622. Amen.

  623. So time is running out, and I want to say,

  624. I think God loves us so much that he calls

  625. us out of a burning bush experience. We might want

  626. to run away, we might want to hide at the

  627. backside of the of the desert, the desert of our lives.

  628. Or we might be saying, but I'm too young, how

  629. can this happen? Yet there's a willingness to say, here

  630. am my Lord.

  631. I pay Holy Spirit.

  632. We just speak to your heart's church for us that

  633. really need to just break through at least have a

  634. breakthrough in our mindset and how we want to be

  635. able to answer to the Lord. Because the church needs

  636. your help. We all need each other.

  637. Amen.

  638. So the first thought for us when I'm looking at

  639. how God spoke to Moses number one Exodus three and

  640. verse ten is come now what an invitation? An invitation

  641. to come? God always invites us to come. Even in

  642. Matthew twenty eight and verse twenty the last commandment of Jesus,

  643. which is our first priority, he says, you know, go

  644. ye into all the world and make disciples right, teach

  645. them all that to do, observe, and then finally ends

  646. up by saying, and I will be with you. God

  647. is with us to go and make disciples. Hallelujah. So

  648. the first thing is he's saying come. God is calling

  649. us to it says come come, Jane, No, Jane here right, come, Matthew,

  650. come Lauren, Come come. Because the second point in Exodus

  651. chapter three and verse twelve says, and I will be

  652. with you as you say, I will be with you.

  653. I will equip you, I will be with you. Come,

  654. and I will be with you, Amen. So the first

  655. one is an invitation, amen. And then up with the invitation,

  656. the next eye is eye, sorry the.

  657. Eyes God himself will be with you. That I am

  658. will be with you. Hallelujah. Friends.

  659. I don't know how to excite you to live by faith,

  660. but we have to live by faith and not by sight.

  661. That I am, God, Lord Almighty's with us. I just

  662. I love our express So I would say that I

  663. am is with them because their food is so colorful.

  664. It's like, whoa, you know, all the food every week?

  665. You know, they show me picture. You're like, whoa. And

  666. I'm never around terrible all mix my nice food. I

  667. know around Okay, they got colorful.

  668. Food, right. Oh, that I am. It's with you. God

  669. never leaves us alone. I want to invite you. This

  670. is God.

  671. Say come, I invite you to come with me, walk

  672. with me. Because God is still working. He is still

  673. working even when you can't see him working. He's still working.

  674. Right we sing that song.

  675. Uh, he's still working, just that we can't see him

  676. because we're seeing by sight. But if you see him

  677. right by faith, God is still working. And that's Exodus Street.

  678. And then the last the point from the invitation. Then

  679. to the I am with you that the third one

  680. is the way. The Angel answered Mary and said, nothing

  681. is impossible with God. Impossible, not impossible. Nothing is impossible

  682. with God. Wow, it might be impossible for us to

  683. do something due to our frustration, our guilt, our shame

  684. through our heart, or to our the offenses. But God says,

  685. nothing is impossible. If I am the way, then there

  686. is a way. So I want to live. I want

  687. us to live our lives in Jesus is the way way,

  688. so that I walk in the Jesus m way.

  689. Okay, not the way, but Jesus am the way.

  690. Jesus says, I am the way, and you and and

  691. you say nothing's impossible, then let's walk that way.

  692. Friends. I've traveled for the last five weeks.

  693. Okay, everyone who is of my age will tell me,

  694. are you sure you're okay?

  695. All right?

  696. Every day waking up, every week waking up a different bit.

  697. This has been week after week, week after week. Then

  698. I hit my toe and I hit my toe and

  699. that cannot walk right. So I have to wear sleeper

  700. are yo? But I'm going to Japan. Not nice were

  701. sleeper las? I went buy a shoe. Oh, the shoe

  702. killed me. Right, So I told my husband I cannot,

  703. I cannot. Can you buy a slipper, a proper sleiput

  704. the kind of thing, right, sandal? So I bought a sandal,

  705. and in one week my my toe finally finally breathe,

  706. not pain. But I have to wear sendal. Still this

  707. type of this is a different center. There are the

  708. center's the opener. I can see all my toes so shy.

  709. So I shy today, so I didn't wear the open

  710. toes and read this shoe. Finally it shialed, but still

  711. needs a bit more here, just a bit on me

  712. with a toe see, and I'm walking like that like

  713. a deer anti but I was talking like that. And

  714. then to opin and you know, waking up early every morning,

  715. going for camp, talking to young people, working among them. Oh,

  716. watching them cook my little lunch and dinner. Okay, eating

  717. all kinds of food. Wak a diet? Can you be

  718. on nothing? You just put on weight right, all guys

  719. of food right food non fright food?

  720. Don't know?

  721. All my my colleagues are my office colleagues are younger

  722. than me. Taking the region diet, you know, the region diet.

  723. You know, don't eat carps, don't eat sugar. I said,

  724. I cannot do this later because look at me going

  725. in and out, like how to eat today, YAKITORI, you

  726. know tomorrow Nasi lama, Sundha food food la all the bakassi,

  727. and then Japanese food, then camp food and more cam

  728. food and then another cam food while a lot of

  729. camp food. Yeah, not becon beacon head a beacon chicken

  730. la okay alma okay. So I mean I'm just saying

  731. I could tell God. No, I think I'm off age ready,

  732. Lord of age. Please don't retire yourself, amen, there's no retirement.

  733. Jesus still calls you to come.

  734. You believe it.

  735. Jesus calls you to come. Are your mom or dad?

  736. You know you have little children. Oh my pastor Benji Mischa,

  737. I saw themselving. I cried because there's not help. There's

  738. no help there. They are really planting. Intercultural language is different,

  739. people are different, international faces. Carrying the child who is

  740. so active, right, carrying the child and sharing leading worship,

  741. trying to teach them to do this and go like wow,

  742. I'm so good. I'm so proud of them for just

  743. taking a step of faith, right, And they could also say, hey, no,

  744. pastor maybe maybe we should just come back because it's

  745. a lot to deal with, But they don't.

  746. They in fact, they saying what more can we do?

  747. No? Wow, we got open don kyoto, we're gonna do that.

  748. Oh we're gonna do do that and different things. I

  749. hope to share with you more. But sometimes we forget

  750. that God gives us an invitation to come. This invitation

  751. was given to me when I was fifteen years old,

  752. or when I was sixteen years old. The Lord said,

  753. come and serve me. Sixteen years old, I just became

  754. a Christian. And he didn't say to me, come and

  755. serve me like hello Rogers coming. No, it came by

  756. my leader, my CF Christian Fellowship leader said, Santa, would

  757. you like to serve on the.

  758. Now?

  759. Now? The word because social media? But last time social

  760. media is the bulletin board. Remember and I remember Sony

  761. not so old as Mila, but remember not your school

  762. go on bulletin board, right, and then they put encouragement

  763. knows what's happening this week? I was that person. I

  764. was that person, so I like I say, I shall

  765. pray about it. Christian world, pray about it. I didn't

  766. pray about it and play a fool. And finally, okay,

  767. pray about this a lot, should I, sir? Because my

  768. mother said I cannot. Of course, I'm not a very

  769. good student. So if you serve me so you'll feel

  770. your exam So how lot as you're not. And I

  771. spoke to my heart sixteen years old, just a new believer,

  772. he says, if you don't serve me now, when will you?

  773. When?

  774. Now?

  775. But I just became a believer. I'm not a believer

  776. before Buddhies background. Oh oh, okay, And again, if you

  777. don't serve me now, when will you? I say, okay, Lord,

  778. I'll serve you sixteen sixteen like a Mary beat unto

  779. me according to your word. I'm still here, guys, I'm

  780. still here serving.

  781. Amen.

  782. I'm still here serving because you're uncertain when the Lord says, come,

  783. I am with you, and nothing is impossible. So I'm

  784. still packing bags every week, I'm going for cams and

  785. doing young people cam and older people came, and all

  786. kinds of people came and pecking and flying and coming

  787. back and all kinds of things going on. I just

  788. want to say not because I'm proud I'm saying that.

  789. I'm just saying I'm just like any one of us here.

  790. I just answered that I come at sixteen and continue

  791. to say Yes Lord.

  792. Over every season of my life. Yes Lord. Sometimes I

  793. do wish I.

  794. Could be home and enjoy my You know, I ran

  795. awayd my house about fifteen years ago.

  796. I don't how man years fifteen years ago. Guess who

  797. enjoyed it.

  798. My parents, me and my husband were out of the

  799. house for seven good years to eight years, planting London

  800. and Melbourne. We were hardly at home. My parents got

  801. to enjoy it. So you know, God blesses you to

  802. bless others and uses you for other ways. I want

  803. to say, come is the word for us. You know

  804. I can share this word, but only a holy spirit

  805. can place a word a conviction in your heart, a

  806. conviction that is sweet and that is so tasty that

  807. he says come, Come, Come now, son, daughter, come, and

  808. I will be with you. Because Moses said how and

  809. he said I will be with you. I will surely

  810. be with you. God will always be with us.

  811. Amen.

  812. And when you feel like it's impossible at my age

  813. and stage in life, I'm a CEO. Now I have

  814. no time, but he.

  815. Says, nothing is impossible with the Lord. Amen.

  816. You could be see or you could be a business entrepreneur,

  817. you could be a retired banker. But the Lord says,

  818. come because he has something for us. Don't just end

  819. up doing gardening unless your recycling plans. Okay, come, because

  820. nothing is impossible with God. I leave this with you

  821. this morning. Now it's the Holy Spirit to really touch

  822. your heart with his word. God's word is living and

  823. I'm a living example of what God can do with

  824. a broken life, with that life that didn't have a

  825. lot that not so very clever couldn't do, didn't think

  826. she would amount to anything from my young life. And

  827. over time, as the Lord saved me, he'd saved me

  828. for one purpose and one purpose alone, to be his worshiper.

  829. And I just worship him. To serve is to worship him.

  830. Amen. How many are worshippers in the house? Come on, yeah,

  831. we worship, we serve the Lord. Amen. When we worship,

  832. we serve, we serve. We worship the Lord. The Lord

  833. has called us.

  834. Don't retire, don't put your hands down, put your hands

  835. up to worship him and just say yes Lord. The

  836. more we say yes to the Lord, the more you

  837. know his favor, his strength, his grace until he takes

  838. us home.

  839. Amen.

  840. As I shared with you, my dad was eighty three

  841. when he went home to Jesus three years ago, still

  842. serving the Lord, playing the guitar in the prison to

  843. lead the prisoners to worship, to lead the prisoners to Christ.

  844. At eighty three, he was very sad that he couldn't

  845. because he was a COVID. He and because of that,

  846. I think he lost that like, I can't go to

  847. prison anymore. And the church would say, althose are eighty

  848. and above? Cannot come to church because you might get

  849. COVID that said I want to be in church. So

  850. he ended up being one of the octogenarians that were

  851. serving as a host, shaking people's hands on the last

  852. day that he could serve in January twenty twenty three,

  853. and he passed away in March, one month of his cancer.

  854. And then he passed on, but he served the Lord

  855. until he went home to Jesus.

  856. Is that awesome? Come on, give God praise.

  857. Come on, don't put your hands in your pocket and

  858. just say, oh, it's just a story. You and I

  859. have the opportunity to serve the Lord to come. He says,

  860. Come on, guys, come to whatever it is that God's

  861. speaking to your heart. But don't take too long to

  862. have that privilege to do something, and that will add

  863. to the value of the kingdom.

  864. Maybe it's and again, as.

  865. I said, maybe it's not things that you do on Sunday,

  866. but things that you think you can do on other days. Again,

  867. what is God speaking? What is he saying to you

  868. to come? Don't ever say it? These people are too yeah,

  869. or that is don't there's no excuses. Wherever we are,

  870. the Lord is saying come now. Now will be with you.

  871. But if you think it's difficult, nothing is impossible with you.

  872. The team here will also have to work through different things. Oh,

  873. if this is what you can do, let's see what

  874. we can do or not. Now, how about working it

  875. over time, not immediately, but over time, let's see what

  876. we can do. So that's a part of the leadership.

  877. But when the law cause you will make away for us. Amen, hallelujah.

  878. But what is beautiful is I want to say to you,

  879. don't think that any door is closed for your life.

  880. God opens doors for you. He does whether it's something

  881. you had a bad experience before. I'm sorry for those

  882. bad experience I could be I could have been part

  883. of that problem, or I represent the people who have

  884. been that problem. And I want to say, forgive us.

  885. Maybe we're not thinking clearly at times. Forgive us who

  886. have you know made life difficult for you or people

  887. I represent people would have made life difficult for you.

  888. But I just want to say, hold, spirit is always

  889. working in us. The Church of Christ is active, it's

  890. living because Jesus is alife.

  891. Amen.

  892. And when he is alive, he wants you to live

  893. your destiny, and your destiny that counts for eternity, Amen,

  894. for eternity. What is it that's in your hands?

  895. What is it that you know?

  896. Perhaps you've laid it down, But maybe God is saying,

  897. come alive again, and he's speaking to you, maybe through

  898. a burning bush. Maybe he's speaking to you, you know,

  899. through your circumstance.

  900. Maybe he's using me to speak to you.

  901. But all I can see when God calls you to come,

  902. he doesn't do it because he has a whip in

  903. his hand, but he comes with such love. Even when

  904. he told Mary you're going to be pregnant, Oh my goodness.

  905. Those of us were on look us going, God, you

  906. can't do that. She's just a young girl. But God

  907. had a plan for this young Mary to carry the

  908. Son of God that one day would save us.

  909. All Amen. And she said, be it unto me.

  910. And so this is the prayer I pray, you know,

  911. quite quite often, Lord, be it unto me according to

  912. your word. Lord, whatever it is, Lord, be it unto me,

  913. according to your word, because you have amazing plans for me.

  914. Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus.
