  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. So let's start with the first thing. What is the

  4. importance of values? Think about it a little bit, are

  5. you Guysually we do a b a training, Bible study,

  6. you know, let's do it be all that. Okay, what's

  7. saying about our values to lead and guide the church?

  8. Why do we need values? Okay? So can we go

  9. back to the actually, oh yeah, you can go to

  10. ka ne nay mine.

  11. So if you go to the website, the top part

  12. you see vision, the vision of the church.

  13. Okay.

  14. The vision of the church basically tells you where you

  15. want to go, where we want to go. This is

  16. the vision. You go and join the company. The company say,

  17. oh our vision is this, you know? And that is

  18. the vision is where you want to go? You know,

  19. I have a vision to go to Pinang to have

  20. check it out. That's your vision, right, that's the vision right?

  21. And and if you scroll down you see the mission.

  22. Why are you going there? I want to inject your cuadella.

  23. That's why I want to go to Penine.

  24. Right, there's a vision, right, lovely couple, vision I want

  25. to get married.

  26. Why, of course we love each other.

  27. Okay, mission right, So the vision and the mission right,

  28. So vision and mission tells us where we are going

  29. and why we are going there.

  30. So as a church, she's saying, we have a vision

  31. in the church. Right, we are church prunning church. Right.

  32. We want to help people believe this aur is our vision. Why, Well,

  33. we want to be obedient to what God has asked

  34. us to do. You know, we'll believer us. Right, that's

  35. the mission. But the values, and we're talking about values

  36. in thirteen weeks, is the fuel that drives the car there.

  37. The values is the thing that will help us move forward.

  38. It's good to have a vision, it's good to have

  39. a mission purpose, but if you got no values, you

  40. won't be able to reach there. If there's no values

  41. driving you, you're.

  42. Not going to be able to move forward.

  43. Right, Okay, how many of you know life is hard,

  44. not hard, but hard. Life is hard. Also, life is hard. Okay,

  45. Me and my wife have this joke every time we argue.

  46. After you argue, we look at you, I love is hard,

  47. you know, and then we will Yeah, we'll make up

  48. and then we'll move forward.

  49. Okay.

  50. That's why passes and always remember she said, Oh, I

  51. know marriage is for the brief, so you want to

  52. get married brief people love battle scarcity, so life is hard.

  53. That means that your face challenge is correct. How many

  54. of you here never face challenges before? No challenge in

  55. your life? Go on, anybody, I want to meet you.

  56. What's a secret? No challenge at all?

  57. You know, never suffer, never, never worry nothing, all right,

  58. God challenge right?

  59. Okay?

  60. When a challenge happens, What happens when there's a challenge,

  61. what happens?

  62. Face it?

  63. Run away, fight or flight? Okay, when you have a challenge,

  64. only two things would happen. You either give up or

  65. you overcome Corona. When the challenge happens, you either give

  66. up or you overcome. You either are defeated, right or

  67. you you know, become stronger correct when the challenge comes.

  68. Just these are the two things. When a challenge comes,

  69. you either okay, I give up, don't do anything. Even

  70. staying there is giving up now, or you become stronger

  71. by overcoming it. Right.

  72. And in life, in a church and de tig you'll.

  73. Probably know there are there will be challenges that will

  74. come to defeat the vision admission Let's not even talk

  75. about church. Let's talk about your company. Let's talk about

  76. your family. Your family. Do you know that all of

  77. you here has a vision, have a mission, a mission

  78. for your family? Do you know that some you not know.

  79. You probably think about it for all time, You have

  80. no idea what're talking about. But I will argue that

  81. you do have a vision admission for your family because

  82. it motivates what you decide every single day. It motivates

  83. what you decide to do for your life and your family.

  84. You have a vision admission. Maybe you haven't write it

  85. down yet, but you do have. You know in the church,

  86. we do have. And the thing is, there will be

  87. challenges that come in our life. Will be one that's

  88. the surety of life. Okay, There'll be I'm and down right.

  89. There will be winding roads, you know, crossroads young okay, doubts.

  90. Everything goes well and then suddenly someone made the change

  91. and then you're like, oh, you know, I'm back to

  92. square one, or now I'm at a crossroad deciding what

  93. to do right right, there could be heels while I'm

  94. going up the hill. There could be values as well.

  95. And we know that challenges can either come to defeat

  96. the vision, admission, or to make it stronger. Right, but friends,

  97. values are the field that helps us get through those challenges,

  98. or it helps us to overcome. If you've got no values,

  99. it's very difficult to overcome challenges, want to know, very difficult.

  100. But if you've got strong values, if you're very clear

  101. with yourself, then it will help you. It doesn't say

  102. the challenge don't be there, but it will help you

  103. to overcome whatever challenge you face. Values causes us to

  104. stand firm and strong and faithful despite opposition. It will come.

  105. That's the surety of life I've learned. And do you

  106. know that God is big on values? Win Bible got

  107. say it no, read the Bible. Everything is value, God value,

  108. Kingdom minded. You know everything is values?

  109. Right?

  110. Values also character, Friends, show me a person who has

  111. a lot of values, and you will see a person

  112. who has character.

  113. A person who got no value, got no character.

  114. And you know, like the Bible says a suit, we're

  115. doing left and right. When the wind blows values, anything goes.

  116. Whatever can how do you reach that? I cannot?

  117. Right? Values?

  118. Also character and character is this one right is now?

  119. Character is what we are in the dark when no

  120. one is looking. How many of us here have eaten

  121. that cookie even though you know you shouldn't. How many

  122. if you had in doubts a little bit in you

  123. know something that you shouldn't indust when no one's the king, right,

  124. I mean we all have. But if you've got strong values,

  125. you will have self control. This is why values are important.

  126. I guys, okay, okay, let's talk a little bit more

  127. about values. Do you know that values are also non compromisable?

  128. Do you understand what that means? Values are noncompromisable?

  129. Right?

  130. And friends, I'm talking to believers here, so I will

  131. be upfront with you guys. As believers, right, we need

  132. to understand that in this life there are things that

  133. are compromisable in our life, and there are things that

  134. are non compromisable. Right, and see, when you know that

  135. there are things compromisable non compromisable, then what you do, right, Well,

  136. you need to decide really early and maybe for some

  137. of us we need to learn learn about it. Learn

  138. what are the things that are compromisable and not compromisable?

  139. As believers, right, we need to decide early and learn, right,

  140. what are the things that we cannot compromise in our lives.

  141. Why if we want to live the abundant life, then

  142. we have to decide early. If you want to live

  143. the life that God has intended for you, then you

  144. decide early. What are the things you don't compromise?

  145. Isn't it a challenge? Young? We get asked?

  146. I know you, you know, like when you're in campus

  147. to learn everything's like perfect, you go the moment you

  148. go on working, well, you see a lot of things.

  149. When then you will also learned that a lot of

  150. things are gray gray one God, I pray so hard,

  151. but this person took the person out for macan and

  152. then they got the promotion. Right, things are great. In

  153. the Bible, it says I will cause it to rain

  154. on the weakened and the righteous. How are you gonna

  155. argue your God could not go so?

  156. Now?

  157. No?

  158. How were not good?

  159. Lie?

  160. Easy? Right? Do you have values? Do you trust in

  161. a lot?

  162. If we want the abandoned life that Got wants for us,

  163. if we want to see ourselves succeed, then we need

  164. to know what other uncompromisable values in our lives. Let

  165. me give you some examples, because I know sometimes this

  166. is small, like decision making. We think about it in

  167. the area of church, and sometimes we say certain things.

  168. Let me talk about dressing a little bit. Okay, so

  169. uncompromisable dressing. Okay, So today I decided to wear a

  170. flower blue tie I like.

  171. I like flabberties.

  172. Okay, if tomorrow I decided to wear a great tie,

  173. is it compromisable? It's sort of unless pastor Steven come

  174. and say I win tomorrow, I'll dress Coda. It's all

  175. going to be orange tie. Like the hosts them, I'm like,

  176. okay to a Strengthsay, it's going to be uncompromisable because

  177. I will have to decide whether I want to follow

  178. he say, or not career or not.

  179. Right.

  180. But if I start, you see, if I'm a team player,

  181. they'll say, sure, I'll wear orange tie or go buy one.

  182. But if I want to, you know, do my own

  183. thing or figure my own way down and start giving

  184. no why.

  185. I must have tie? What is the doctrinal reason why

  186. we need to wear orange? Why do we? It shows

  187. my value? I'm not a team player? Your your cash

  188. there not?

  189. Okay again, it's a big gray Okay, let me give

  190. you another another value that I practice that I confident

  191. can say that it's uncompromisable to me and my family.

  192. I don't miss Sunday church even if I'm on holiday,

  193. even if there's no take costal Holy Swity church there,

  194. I will look for a church even if the church

  195. just boring and day.

  196. You know why, because my value is not about church,

  197. not about Sunday. My value is I must worship God

  198. on Sunday because it's my sylver. This is me. No,

  199. it's me. You got your catch that. I got another value.

  200. I show you my family value for me and my

  201. house long time ready it may and my wife decided.

  202. We will serve the lot.

  203. Because of that, we make decisions on a daily basis

  204. to serve God with our kids.

  205. Does my kid enjoy it? No?

  206. Right, I have one child that made a bit more compliant.

  207. Praise the Lord right every day? He stressed, I you

  208. read my Bible. I'm like, okay, great, I don't have

  209. the pressure you.

  210. You go to yourself.

  211. Right when we go and do stuff and are too busy,

  212. he gets restressed.

  213. I got no time read my brother.

  214. I're like, okay, okay, chill, chill, God's not gonna judge you.

  215. Be fine.

  216. I got another one after thirty opposite, right, hah church

  217. again right, the moment finishes, where can we go home?

  218. See? All these things.

  219. Does not detect my value because we will still be

  220. in church so much so that my kids are all

  221. a little bit more now it's a normal thing on Sunday.

  222. They will ask me, so we shuch sh are we

  223. going this week? Because sometimes I will go different places,

  224. and so we shish are we going this week?

  225. Ha? No xpja.

  226. I like all the friends there, right, But that's the value,

  227. and it takes time to build.

  228. Right. There are certain values that we need to know.

  229. It's important. I guess.

  230. Okay, this is why we're talking about values as a church.

  231. And I hope I hope that as we go through

  232. the values as a church that you will recognize and

  233. at least see even if you don't fully get it

  234. yetna or practice yet. It's okay, let's get there. Okay,

  235. sh there not let's get there. Is it a value

  236. in my kids life to make church a priority? Of course?

  237. Not lot they don't understand, right, but to bad lah,

  238. I'm the father. You have to follow up, you join

  239. another family, you go another family.

  240. Value. They don't.

  241. They don't honor God on Sunday. That's your problem. You

  242. join them, Go and join them, join your family. But

  243. my family, I do this. Don't catch that. Don't catch

  244. that right, because I want to honor the lot. So

  245. they are non compromisable. Let me give you another morning. Friends,

  246. Once we start compromising on some things, we start going

  247. down a very slippery road. You agree, Let me give

  248. you an example, a funny example. I've been on this

  249. health Jennifer already okay, and last week.

  250. Let's just say I compromise. I supposed to exercise, I reals.

  251. Keep exercising two and a half one and a half

  252. week city and I'm feeling it. I'm feeling bad, right,

  253. I'm feeling not just bad in my conviction, but also

  254. feeling bad. And said, oh no, I'm feeling like something

  255. is wrong inside ready because go holiday over it yesterday?

  256. And I'm like no.

  257. So now I'm trying to crow in push ups here

  258. and there, no right before I sleepy, push ups in

  259. the morning, wake up kro just trying to make myself

  260. feel better.

  261. But they compromise.

  262. It took one time, I busy, another time or nobody

  263. there at the gym in compromise.

  264. Then it's hard.

  265. The thing is the moment we start compromising our values,

  266. you will you will start finding yourself in another place.

  267. That's why we got to come to this space where

  268. I said, no, I cannot compromise. No matter what happens, right,

  269. I will not allow it to move.

  270. Guys. Okay, okay, not a long time. Let's go. Okay,

  271. let me share you where is these child call values

  272. come from? Okay?

  273. So when when Pascana started the church, and when he

  274. was praying, asking the Lord what is the name of church?

  275. And all he God led him to call our church

  276. ex church as I mentioned just now, because we want

  277. to go back to the church that had no fingerprint

  278. of man, right, the church that the lot intended.

  279. Right. So when he was looking.

  280. For the core values that will guide our church in

  281. the things we do, it is definitely from the Bible,

  282. and not just from his own life case. Definitely from

  283. a Bible right and X. Chapter two was a key

  284. chapter where we drew out the child court values Chold

  285. plus one sorry, because it starts with the visitation of

  286. the Holy Spirit and it ends with the church triving

  287. grew and we are church right, So it makes sense

  288. to you know, see what the Bible say about that.

  289. The first church and follow up right, and he wanted

  290. to find out what are the ingredients of a driving

  291. church and how we can try beyond him because the

  292. founders can one day not be around.

  293. Do you know that?

  294. Do you know if everything is resting on the founder,

  295. when the founder's not here, it won't survived?

  296. You want? Right? For example, if the values that.

  297. I mentioned to you just now, we will serve the

  298. lot and I don't miss Sunday church. Do you know

  299. that those two values, it's not even an Elvin Kak value.

  300. It's from the Bible that we honor the Sabbath and

  301. that we for me and my house, yourself, the lot.

  302. It's not even my value. No, it's a Bible value.

  303. You know. Do you know that if it's my value,

  304. it will die? Oh? My value is I will be

  305. a go there? Why my friend son dont be a goku?

  306. Or in my very if I create values so that

  307. it might not last, it will die with me those

  308. values because it doesn't. It won't last. It's a human value,

  309. but God's value will last.

  310. One.

  311. God said in his word right that his word will

  312. never fait. Do you say his words will never fait?

  313. So if we practice the values that the Bible has,

  314. don't you you know and you if you, if you,

  315. if you follow what the Bible says. Sorry, I think

  316. that In Joshua chaptob one, it says, meditate on my

  317. word day and night, and you shall be prosperosed you

  318. not just you, but you and your generations. That's the

  319. promise of the Word of God. Because when we follow

  320. God's values and Bible, we will succeed, we will prosper,

  321. we will experience the abundant life that He intended for us.

  322. Right.

  323. And the wonderful thing is that it can be passed

  324. on to the next generation because God will be there

  325. with them.

  326. Amen.

  327. So he wanted to find out what are the ingredients

  328. of a driving church and how it can try because

  329. once he's gone, that's it. It is just based on him, right,

  330. you know, you know how easy it can be. Let's

  331. just use this experien example. If passus Stephen is very

  332. particular about I don't know, maybe uh or every chair

  333. must be aligned straighten on. Okay, let's say that's his value.

  334. And in Bua all the chess must be straight, run straight.

  335. I see second, really all this second really right? Not

  336. as straightly?

  337. Do you know?

  338. That when passes Steven is not here, the chess won't

  339. be straight. It's also funny, but it's true. We set

  340. sound the live and you're like, why are you following it?

  341. But if it's God's values, there's a reason why. There's

  342. so why if it's God's values, it it's beyond us,

  343. It's beyond the physical. So I will argue that best

  344. value is in the Bible. Right what will hold it

  345. is not the word of men, but the word of God,

  346. because the word of God will last forever.

  347. And pass.

  348. It came out with this is so because he wanted

  349. people to stand on the word of God.

  350. Because the word of God is.

  351. The rock of our salvation, and we will send of

  352. the word of God, we won't be shaken.

  353. That's why we have the chop coverlage.

  354. This is why the chop Collveralene chop plus one coveralue

  355. is important for our church. Okay, Okay, I hope I

  356. give her a good introduction. Okay, let's talk about grave

  357. Field okay X Chapter two, US two. If you got Bibles,

  358. please turn to it. It says here and suddenly there

  359. came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,

  360. and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

  361. Of course, we talk about the Pentecosts, you know, the

  362. coming of the Holy Spirit. That's what happened then, right,

  363. And we read in X chapter T very then Peter

  364. say to them, repent, and let everyone of you be

  365. baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission

  366. of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the

  367. Holy Spirit. Actually happen, And none of MYSI about the

  368. Holy Spirit. I don't think I preached before because I

  369. think we're pretending you'll be easier to explain to you all.

  370. But you know, when you become a believer and you

  371. receive Christ into your heart. Now, do you not Jesus

  372. not here anymore? Do you know that Jesus is not

  373. here on earth anymore?

  374. Right? Who is here with us? Holy Spirit? Right? Do

  375. you know why the Holy Spirit is here? Not Jesus here?

  376. Because the Bible says, oh, okay, let me give you

  377. some other practical reasons why the Holy Spirit is here.

  378. Jesus is a physical person. Yeah, yeah, he's Christ are okay,

  379. He's God and all. But he's physical. No, means that

  380. he can only be at one place at one time.

  381. But do you know the Holy Spirit can be with

  382. everyone at every time. This is why is beneficial for

  383. him to be with us.

  384. One of the.

  385. Reasons why because God the Holy Spirit, he's omnipresent. He

  386. is also all knowing and he has intellect. That means

  387. when you are doing your business in the toilet this

  388. morning and scrolling to your phone, the spray was there,

  389. will you will think about it differently from noun words.

  390. This is why it's beneficial for us as believe us

  391. to have the Holy Spirit us because imagine this rather

  392. than just having one person that starts somewhere and every

  393. time we want to go and see passes Steven and

  394. we come to church and you see him right nowhere

  395. else and then you have to probably call and then

  396. is limited limited by time and space. But Holy Spirit

  397. is not limited. Holy spirits with everyone. When you pray,

  398. God hears you because the Holy Spirit is with you.

  399. This is why the first value is spirit failed because

  400. when we receive Christ into our hearts, that's what we said,

  401. we receive the salvation you know of God and you

  402. receive the gift of Christ, the grace of the Lord

  403. Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit comes into our life and

  404. communes with us. That is what the Bible says. That

  405. is why Benediction, I think it's in numbers right or

  406. Corinthians right. When we send people off, we say, may

  407. the grace of the Lord just Christ. Grace, not grace

  408. of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God. Why

  409. for God's love the world he gave his only begoden Son. Also,

  410. the cool thing about love, God's love is that there's

  411. nothing can separate us from the love of God. Your

  412. sin cannot separate you from God's love. Okay, your catch,

  413. how important that is not No matter how messed up

  414. you are, friends, God's love can still reach you.

  415. No matter how messed up people out there are.

  416. Is you have, you should have the confidence that God's

  417. love can reach them. But of course it is the

  418. communion and the conviction of the Holy Spirit that gets

  419. them transformed. It is the communion and the conviction of

  420. the Holy Spirit that touches our hearts.

  421. You get the process.

  422. Not right does why spirit feels the value that we

  423. need to remember because if you read in the Bible,

  424. it all starts in the Holy Spirit.

  425. Before that it was Jesus. This is good.

  426. I'm not saying just one of our values is Christ centered. Yes, you,

  427. Jesus is still there. But I'm not talking about getting

  428. into becoming a believer. No, I'm not talking about receiving

  429. salvation because yes, Jesus firsta okay, but after that then

  430. Holy Spirit, after the Holy Spirit. Really and okay, I'm

  431. not theologian. I don't want to get discussions with any

  432. cessations here, but I believe that's Holy Spirit. What is

  433. my proof my own life. Okay, you don't believe me

  434. up to you, but I.

  435. Know he's here.

  436. Because I've experienced him. I understand what is it like

  437. to be spirit filled, not just bringing towns friends, but

  438. living life with the Holy Spirit, walking in the spirit.

  439. It is a very exciting one. Right, there's a spirit field.

  440. It's important for us as X because it all starts

  441. with the Holy Spirit.

  442. If you read the Book of X, and people argue

  443. that the Book.

  444. Of X is the book of the Apostles, but actually

  445. the Book of X is the Book of the Holy Spirit,

  446. because it's all the ex of the Holy Spirit, the

  447. Spirit of God in men. That is causing the miracles

  448. to happen, that's causing people to be convicted of their

  449. sin because the Holy spirits dont want to convict right,

  450. not us, We just we just Peter, just push the word.

  451. But the spirit of God is when to convict the

  452. heart of men? Right X, when it says you shall

  453. receive power, when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,

  454. and you shall be witnesses to me in Jerusalem and

  455. in all Judea and Sema, and to the end and

  456. to the ends of the earth. Okay, let me make

  457. this argument here that scripture right, I believe all but

  458. passe Alvin. I you know, I yes, I'm a believer,

  459. I many years believer. They say I will receive power,

  460. but I go to power one I cannot shoot web

  461. out my hand.

  462. I'm gonnat fly. I pray for word.

  463. Don't know we are healed? Right, friends, you need to

  464. go deeper in it. When you receive Christ in your

  465. life and the Holy Spirit resides in you.

  466. The Scripture is in the fact ready.

  467. Right, meaning the power is deady, you have the power

  468. to be witness Ready. The question is are you doing

  469. anything about it? The question is are you reading the

  470. world and learning and growing and applying and operating it?

  471. Because it takes training. You know you mean the moment

  472. I say, he passes. Even you play guitar, right, Nah,

  473. here's the guitar.

  474. I give you a guitar.

  475. Can he play the guitar? I ha, play, just talk,

  476. but just giveing the guitar first day today, of course,

  477. not long. He has to do what he has to learn.

  478. He has to practice, He has to learn from other people.

  479. It's the same thing. It doesn't mean that he doesn't

  480. have the guitar. No, you have the guitar, can play it?

  481. E Can he learn without the guitar? He can't. Can

  482. we with witnesses were without Holy Spirit? Do we have power?

  483. Without whose spirit we don't have? But with the Holy

  484. Spirit we do have power. But they have to practice that,

  485. have to pray Allah, have to grow, have to trust

  486. la right Zacharia for six says. So he answered and

  487. said to me, this is the word of the Lord

  488. to zerah Babel, not by mine, not by power, but

  489. by my spirit, says a lot of hosts. So when

  490. we have the Holy Spirit friends with us. Being spirit failed,

  491. this is the first, very inexprestional. When we have the

  492. Holy Spirit, we have the helper. And because we have

  493. the helper, then we can follow the teachings of Christ

  494. only through the help of the Holy Spirit. Huh, you

  495. mean if I got no Holy Spirit?

  496. Very hard? Let me read more.

  497. And then I explained, okay, because and why is the

  498. Holy Spirit important to us? Because if we are filled

  499. with the spirit, Actually, all the other values were just following.

  500. Do you know when you are fully influenced by the

  501. Spirit of God, right, that all the other values after

  502. that you learn, you can go and read what the

  503. other values. Right, It won't be very difficult for you.

  504. Do you know that because you're influenced by the Spirit

  505. of God. You're not influenced by your flesh. You're not

  506. influenced by your background, You're not influenced by something you

  507. read online, you're not influenced by another speaker. You're influenced

  508. by the Spirit of God living in you. That's why

  509. it's a big deal. And where the Spirit of God is,

  510. Christ will be exalted in the present physical absence from

  511. Earth of Christ himself, who is We've got the Father.

  512. That's where Christ Jesus is right now, Okay, that's why

  513. we say this is going to come back soon. Right.

  514. The Holy Spirit.

  515. Is available for every believer to make Christ's presence accessible

  516. to them. That's the power. No, it's not by association. No,

  517. it is by relationship. You'll get there, not you're not

  518. so association means associations is Oh, my name is.

  519. Elvin, I got Christian name, DeFore i'm Christian. That's by association.

  520. How do you know that I'm a follower of Christ

  521. through my life? Not my name, through my life, not

  522. my job title, through my life, not my hey, my

  523. membership in next church Exergus got no membership or partnership

  524. or leadership. No, it's not true that. That's not how

  525. you see that I'm a disciple of Christ. You only

  526. see I'm a disabled of Christ through the values I practice,

  527. through the things I do, not by association. That's why

  528. we have to be very careful to not believe in

  529. the lie of the devil that we can be saved

  530. by association.

  531. Oh, that's this is why you're not what my association means.

  532. It's like, that's why we have people who say, oh,

  533. I'm born in a Christian family, so therefore i'm Christian.

  534. I don't believe. Sorry, everybody need to accept this on

  535. your own. My kids as well.

  536. Right, So his presence is accessible to as friends are

  537. we tapping into it, the Holy spirits, there are we

  538. tapping into it. Galatians five twenty five says, if we

  539. live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit.

  540. What does that mean?

  541. Work in the spirit. I'll give you some practical tips

  542. to think about.

  543. Okay, you know, God.

  544. Wants us to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit,

  545. and you know, hopefully also make him my best friend,

  546. law right, because when we do have a deeper relationship

  547. or the relationship the Holy Spirit, he will lead us.

  548. He will guide us. He will also teach us the

  549. teachings of Christ. Whereas that now John chapter fourteen, verse

  550. twenty six. But the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the

  551. Father will send in my name, he will teach you

  552. all things and bring to your membrans things that I

  553. said to you. This is why, as believers we have

  554. nudgings and hunters and leadings, because it's the spirit of God.

  555. But the dangerous thing that I that I I will

  556. that I'm also learning.

  557. Is that sometimes it can be used an excuse.

  558. La you know, because even though we have nudgings and

  559. leadings and all, I also believe that God is a

  560. God of structure and right that means there is you know,

  561. in the Bible it says respect your leaders. You know,

  562. even your boss is not a believer, work unto him

  563. as though we're working on the God. See, God recognizes

  564. that one. Sometimes we go with the nudgings and feelings

  565. according to our flesh and don't realize it. Then we

  566. are deceived by the evil one.

  567. That's the danger. So it's not just a nudging and feeling.

  568. I'm saying that when you have the Holy Spain in

  569. you and you really submitted to him, he will get

  570. you in your faith and you don't have to rely

  571. anyone else on You can rely on God. That is

  572. the truth. But at the same time, right at the

  573. same time, yeah, the focus is the Holy Spirit. Sorry,

  574. so let's go. Let's let me go back to my

  575. my message.

  576. Gait the line.

  577. I have a line here that says, so what does

  578. spirit field means? Spirit Field means to be constantly filled

  579. with the spirit, because if we are not filled with

  580. the spirit, we will be filled with other things. Okay,

  581. So if you read Galatians five, I'm not going to

  582. go through it. You read the Galatians five, you will

  583. know that the spirit wrestles to the flesh. Right, So

  584. if we're not filled with the spirit, then we will

  585. be filled with the desires, the last the motivations of

  586. the flesh. If the spirit fills us, then the flesh

  587. will not have power and it will not have a

  588. say in our lives in our future. So we got

  589. to be filled with the spirit, trends, not the flesh.

  590. We got to be feeled the spirit. And if you

  591. want to be really clear, I will also say that

  592. only God knows.

  593. That in a way.

  594. I mean, you can kind of gage what is a

  595. person motivated by?

  596. One?

  597. Most of the time because the BIBLESO teaches us that

  598. you know a prophet by its fruits. So sometimes people

  599. will ask me like, oh, you know, why do you

  600. still do the so I still do that? Or why

  601. do you still I would say, well, for me, it's

  602. quite simple. I might not be able to gauge the

  603. motivation of people, get what they say, gage everything, but

  604. I can always gauge the fruit that comes out of

  605. the person, and the fruit will only come out when

  606. in due time on That's how you see. You know that,

  607. That's what I've learned, That's how you see. So how

  608. do I know my own life let's just my own

  609. How do I know in my own life when I'm

  610. doing the right thing? Be honest, and I heard don't know.

  611. The only way I know is the fruit.

  612. Right.

  613. And of course there are other things that you can

  614. do now, like for example, uh, desciper ship, accountability, talk

  615. to your leaders, stuff like that. Right, this is all

  616. standard stuff, right, I say standard, But I know some

  617. people probably won't do it because no, I don't want

  618. to be let by men, because men can men can

  619. make mistake.

  620. But you're also men. You also can make mistake.

  621. Ma. Right, Better trust someone who also speak to God

  622. and pray? You know and you know again? Mean, okay,

  623. just give you some practicality to it, la or maybe

  624. we are afraid to tell because we know we are

  625. led by the spirit, by the flesh and not the spirit.

  626. Something for you to think about. Okay, let me give

  627. you some like key practical points as I close. So

  628. if you're like, oh, pass away, you say what in

  629. the spirit? Right?

  630. Ware? Cryptic?

  631. What does what in the spirit mean? Well, I give

  632. you four points. As a believer, we want to what

  633. in the spirit. You want to be spirit filled, we

  634. gotta constantly walk in the intimate personal presence and companionship

  635. of the Holy Spirit.

  636. Walk.

  637. I want to do a demonstration. Maybe I get someone else.

  638. I'll get really to come up, life, come, come come home.

  639. Sorry?

  640. Are you very comfortable that you walk a little bit?

  641. Do you know that he's like an avid golfer and

  642. you're like golf?

  643. Just okay?

  644. So I'm gonna pretend to be the Holy Spirit? Okay,

  645. and really is gonna work with me?

  646. Okay? So you walk first, and then I follower. Okay.

  647. So he's walking, right, So who's walking?

  648. Who?

  649. He's walking me? I'm walking him.

  650. I'm walking with him, and a lot of that just

  651. keep walking and a lot of times people do that. Okay,

  652. let's let's go back. Okay, Now we're gonna change a

  653. little bit. Now we're gonna change a little bit. I'm

  654. gonna walk and you know, follow me, okay, okay, so

  655. I Holy Spirit, I'm okay, see okay in me? No.

  656. So if he wants to want me, what must he do?

  657. He has to follow? Right? What with right?

  658. You don't see the walking? Does he know where I'm going?

  659. He doesn't know who I'm going?

  660. Yeah? Yeah, yeah, you're supposed to follow me? Yeah?

  661. Kick kick He doesn't know why I'm going right, he

  662. doesn't know where I'm going.

  663. He's walking me. Do you see?

  664. Thanks, you can go and sit down. Thanks, everybody give

  665. him my hand? Do you see the walking with?

  666. What?

  667. In?

  668. What? With?

  669. To be really honest, a lot of us right, we

  670. want with no Holy Spirit? I will say myself as

  671. because when you walk with the spirit, you have to like,

  672. where is it going on?

  673. What's happening here? You can see that you follow right?

  674. Where is the spirit leading? We want in the spirit.

  675. Does it take practice, yes? Does it take time to understand?

  676. Yes, but start kenna, start right, constantly want in the intimate,

  677. personal presence.

  678. And companionship of the Holy Spirit.

  679. We also need to continuously learn. Learn now how to

  680. appropriate Okay, you'll don't appropriate things this generation. This is

  681. the only time you can appropriate stuff. Okay, appropriate the

  682. many benefits of the presence of the Holy Spirit, cultivating

  683. a deeper inner awareness of its intimate presence.

  684. Friends, talk to.

  685. Anybody here who is mature in the lot.

  686. When you hear them talk about their.

  687. Experiensive we've got now, you will know that they have

  688. a deep relationship with that one you know one, you

  689. know one and some you hear, you understand what that means.

  690. And if you don't understand what that means, maybe you

  691. haven't gone deep enough yet. Right, And we've got to

  692. learn how to converse with him as our closest, most

  693. cherished friend. Yes, we talked to our you know better

  694. half second half half right, our loved ones, we talk

  695. to our leaders.

  696. Yes, good.

  697. I remember one advice at passa Canav always tells us

  698. before we bring up to men the issue, bringing to

  699. God first.

  700. That's what he always does.

  701. And that's something I'm trying to learn at least right

  702. before bring to men, bring to God first, God, make

  703. minse with God first, you know.

  704. Learn how to converse and go make away.

  705. The last part I'll give you is we got to

  706. value the voice of the spirit in our inner spiritual

  707. men to constantly lead us, guide us and teach us

  708. and informing us of all the things that we need

  709. to hear from the Father. You might be sitting here thinking, oh,

  710. but how do.

  711. You listen God? How do you do well?

  712. My argument is Lah, if you ask God, he will

  713. talk to you la. He said, simply as that some complicated.

  714. If you really seek him, he will find him. That's

  715. why there's a scripture in the Word that I used

  716. to not understand, but now I fully understand. Seek and

  717. you will fine. Knock and the door be open to you.

  718. Ask and you receive. Because when we have the Holy

  719. Spirit in us, when we have said, Lord, I have

  720. followed you already I follow Jesus Readia made the decision. Ready,

  721. have Holy Spirit me already walking right. When you ask

  722. God to speak, he will speak. The only question is

  723. whether we want to hear, whether we like while we.

  724. Hear or not. That's the date. Just one no, oh, Lord,

  725. I need then give something else.

  726. You're like, uh, maybe get behind me. Say that right,

  727. because not what you want to hear. But if we

  728. can only come to say, okay, go on, I don't

  729. know what this is you from or not. It's kind

  730. of not what I'm expecting. But let me see what happens.

  731. Right.

  732. And the thing about following Christ, and the thing about

  733. walking in the spirit is the more you do it,

  734. the easy it gets.

  735. The more you do it, the easier it gets, the

  736. more you do it, the.

  737. More Okay, this sounds to be funny. I don't think

  738. I should go here. And do you know that God

  739. will always bring you to another level of challenge. He's

  740. not gonna get easier. Our friends, I'm not some.

  741. You know.

  742. Recently I was talking to a leader, actually I was

  743. talking at Bucella and gave me a very good give

  744. me an encouragement person I didn't expect he said.

  745. He said this line like, uh, you seem to know

  746. how you seem to.

  747. Know how to hear the voice of God? Like, wh

  748. so such a big thing, you know, Like really so,

  749. I'm like, I was really like taking a back when

  750. he said that. He didn't say it exactly that. He

  751. said it in another way, which was like it's either

  752. a voice of God. You seem to know what to what,

  753. you seem to know what to do, or like you

  754. seem to know when God needs you to do something

  755. that you do it. Something to the effect. Okay, I

  756. cannot remember exactly I should.

  757. Write it now.

  758. God wants you to mature. God wants each and everyone

  759. always here to mature.

  760. Yes, you're here.

  761. I like what Josephine said just now, because at the

  762. end of the day, whether or not you go into

  763. the room and get yourself ready for worship, or whether

  764. or not you're like whar my PGS and the hair,

  765. ruffle and come up for warship. Do you know that

  766. God will accept you however you are? That is the

  767. love of God. But do you know that God also

  768. wants you to grow from the wear my pgs and

  769. rough head to the I'm really for worship? Do you

  770. know God also wants that? Which parent doesn't want yet?

  771. Kids to progress in life?

  772. One? No parent? Right? If God means probably devil readly,

  773. you know something wrong?

  774. Ready? Every parent want their kid to grow. Our father

  775. in Heaven wants you to progress in your faith. He

  776. doesn't want you to get stuck there. He doesn't want

  777. to experience that on me. He doesn't want you to

  778. be enticed by the world and follow what the world

  779. says and get disappointed. And he wants you to experience

  780. the fullness of what He has for you.

  781. Amen. And that's what we want to do in church.

  782. That's why we are teaching people about the values that

  783. we believe in the church, because we believe that when

  784. you can.

  785. Follow the values, you can try that. Let's try try it.

  786. When you can adopt the values where you can say, yep,

  787. this is my value that I want to follow, you

  788. will be in a much better place in your own life.

  789. You will be able to overcome a lot of things,

  790. and not just overcome, you'll be able to also help others.

  791. You know, one of the you know, I used to

  792. think like, Okay, God, why why descipership? Why set the

  793. goal of discipership as what we need to do as believers?

  794. Have you thought about it before?

  795. Okay? Don't think about deep stuff like this. Ah, Okay,

  796. I got a lot of time in my hands. Maybe

  797. I waste my time thinking about things. I think I've

  798. come to a conclusion. Why decipership? Because the way to

  799. maturity is to help another person. Do you know that

  800. in the Bible that's a promise of the Word of

  801. God that says you are blessed to be a blessing,

  802. your one blessing here right? Do you know that when

  803. you get blessing and it's just for yourself, you become

  804. a spot brad? But do you know that when when

  805. God blesses you and you understand the reason why the

  806. blessing is there, and you bless.

  807. Someone else, you are mature. It's a different one. No.

  808. Do you know that the blessing is the same, The

  809. blessing part is the same, the purpose is different. The

  810. outcome is different. That's something we need catch. No, So

  811. the goal is not the blessing. Actually, the blessing is

  812. by the way thing. The goal is not to make

  813. you a leader or no no, no, no, there is

  814. by the way thing. Friends, don't don't so focus on that.

  815. The focus is the maturity in your life. The focus

  816. is that when you're blessed, you can be a blessing

  817. we all enjoy. This is why I'm very convinced that

  818. when we when we grow in Christ, to overcome our

  819. own challenges and to be able to say it, you know,

  820. it's like to experience the fullness of God in my life.

  821. Right, I need to have others?

  822. Sounds so funny, right, because when God knows that I

  823. need to be okay to help someone else, he will

  824. make me okay. Because do you know that if you're

  825. not okay, you can't have other people. If I still

  826. have anger issue, I cannot have another person I can

  827. advise another person. If I still got a lot of

  828. emotional problems in my heart, I cannot have other people.

  829. Cannot I'm not really I'm not mature enough. I cannot

  830. help people because I'm not fit. The only way I

  831. can be fit. Is that I need to be the

  832. only way I can help you? But is that I

  833. need to be fit? And you know who can maybe

  834. fit God? That is the power of what God has

  835. in solved for us.

  836. Amen.

  837. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
