  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. As the church is twenty six years old.

  4. Some you may know about it through the earliest earlier

  5. days when you were with us. Some of you are

  6. so new to us that you may have not known

  7. about this value. So we just thought that maybe once

  8. in the while we will bring some of these things

  9. out and equip the church. Really, so the challenging part

  10. for every preacher is going to go into a teaching mode.

  11. And I'm not a fantastic person that goes and read

  12. the script. My wife knows this and some of my

  13. colleagues knows this that for every script that was given

  14. to me, I only read two lines. The rest I

  15. will just go along as and it goes. But it's

  16. going to be good.

  17. Amen.

  18. So but I think before I begin, just want to

  19. share with you that we had a really an amazing

  20. time with ex Singapore and they had the camp last week.

  21. When Singapore is have cam On is a different budget altogether.

  22. It's a different budget altogether, really really different budget.

  23. I think, uh.

  24. It's I think overall it's for these three nights for

  25. three hundred dollars that's about there.

  26. Love.

  27. I saw another Singapore church camp was held at Marriott

  28. for traje I year. I went like, okay, I don't

  29. think I would change ever been to the camp camp before,

  30. but I don't think we want to go there.

  31. Yeah.

  32. So so we headed there at this place in its

  33. couple of life breaks.

  34. Uh, it was really good. Uh.

  35. The camp committee it was about thirty people. Thirty people

  36. in the camp committee. The church is about sixty, so

  37. half the church is going for cam ready. So actually

  38. that's a very good strategy Beto Gabriel. Hey, just just

  39. make your camp committee about forty plus. It's excut commaning

  40. is about the one hundred, so forty percent is really

  41. great for camera ready by default.

  42. Amen. So we were there with minister.

  43. To them, you know, uh and preach and shed. But

  44. the amazing testimony was this was that there was a

  45. child that have never been to ex kids, never been

  46. to ex kids, never been the ex kids for the

  47. longest time.

  48. Uh, fell in love with ex kids.

  49. After that, we pray that she'll go after the kevra

  50. to ex kids, you know, not just during kemp you

  51. go for ex kids.

  52. Uh.

  53. So we had three ex kits teachers following us. It's

  54. funny because when we went there, we really went there, right,

  55. we asked them, I just started to share this story

  56. with your we went there. We asked them this, so

  57. where is the ex kids, uh room they always prepare

  58. room for us.

  59. He said, yeah, yeah, it's this prayer room. Right.

  60. It was a mix shift throughout, mix shifts roun. We

  61. had they level throughout there. But sometimes they have another place,

  62. you know, because so it was a mixtures rubb but

  63. it's actually a meeting room. So whenever then there's a

  64. need for a meeting room day there was just sort

  65. of common otherwise, Uh it is it is dead right,

  66. and uh I just realized this is live stript anyway.

  67. Uh so what happened was this is was was this

  68. was that we went there, we do what we needed

  69. to do, and uh it was reported that, you know,

  70. the EXEUES teacher began to experience different things. First of all,

  71. study from the accommodation, the TV. Who turned on that

  72. in the middle of the night at twelve in the

  73. morning by itself turned on by itself at two am

  74. in the morning, My mom in law woke up, She

  75. who turned on the TV?

  76. Who watched the TV?

  77. Right.

  78. Then after that they.

  79. Just told maybe it's just one of those things that

  80. just turned on the right. Then the second night, the

  81. TV turned on the gate right, and my mom in

  82. law saw some words on the TV and the stuff

  83. like that.

  84. Uh.

  85. At one time, I think the excess teacher went into

  86. the room, but she was pre perished. She felt the

  87. presence over there in the room. But you know, those

  88. of us who believe in Christ, right, we've got not

  89. do fear. You just prayed, worship the Lord h and

  90. cast the ill spirit out and they had amazing time

  91. over there. I won't let you know, really, if God

  92. is for you, who can be against you? Right today,

  93. we're gonna study about the.

  94. Spirit being spirit field.

  95. I think before I'm going to study, it's very ponder

  96. for us to understand really that if you look through

  97. the Bible, right, Uh, there's the reason why God gave.

  98. Us the Holy Spirit.

  99. Right.

  100. It's not for our entertainment. You heard that before.

  101. It's not for the words enjoyment in the sense, it

  102. just it's all about me. God gave us the Holy

  103. Spirit for a specific reason, for specific purpose. Right, So

  104. we actually atually go through uh with the values. If

  105. you have your booklet with you. Let's let's let's let's

  106. let me try to do some reading the heart behind

  107. the values. All right, let's let's let's go to that

  108. pitch tree, vision and mission. Tell us where we are

  109. hating towards and why behind them? Where we are hating

  110. towards and why behind them?

  111. Right?

  112. Values are like the few, the weaker that gives us our,

  113. that gives us It gets us to our destination, especially

  114. in the face of opposition, testing and trials. I pause

  115. that for a moment. I just want us to just

  116. reflect on this. Right, have you ever been in the

  117. place of testing before? I think all of us have. Right,

  118. You and I have been been tested before?

  119. You have I been? The word is a challenged before.

  120. But I think.

  121. It's very important for us to understand what is values

  122. all about. Values is the few that carries us to

  123. the destination. You know it in the life of the church.

  124. In the life of the church, there are many challenges.

  125. If you've been in church long enough, challenges, they said,

  126. sometimes you felt that you're the only one.

  127. So yesterday we had.

  128. Uh a day out, a day out with our Chistpunk

  129. coordinators and assistant Chispunk coordinators Incline from Klang Valley. As

  130. we're talking about different challenges. One of the things we

  131. sallow of ask ourselves who is the oldest person serving

  132. in our church? We will goring to some names, you know,

  133. and doctor James name came up, all right, came up,

  134. John name came up. After that, old des name came up.

  135. That's always say yeah, bather Sandra, we can attach all

  136. right as the name we go we want and this

  137. is the thing we will say we want to celebrate. Really,

  138. it's not about ready how old something that once celebrate,

  139. you know, it's really the spirit behind it. At the

  140. end of the day. You know, we we're young. So

  141. when we're younger, we do younger stuff. But as we

  142. begin to age, as we begin to you know, go

  143. to life and stuff that we may not be able

  144. to jump as much as we were we were younger.

  145. But the spirit is alive. The spirit is alive, the

  146. spirit is on fire. So we're going to it's time

  147. to really celebrate. Because we have leaders from other church

  148. plants who was part of leadership and sometimes you know

  149. that we have combined services.

  150. Uh sometimes it's towards the evening.

  151. They told our leaders that we want to come for

  152. a meeting, but we are free to drive at night

  153. because you couldn't see very well. And as we're going

  154. to some of these normal challenges, we will just try

  155. to say that, hey, it's okay, we understand these normal challenges,

  156. but let's see how it came overcome them. Can be

  157. ordered a gap for you to fare you here and

  158. faure you back and stuff like that. We don't make

  159. some of this naturality as a reason why they cannot

  160. be involved in our church. So we want to celebrate

  161. some of these people. And it's really important for us

  162. to understand that the few right when we go to

  163. opposition normal and I came back from the teens can

  164. with a very bad back. My wife keep telling me,

  165. do not sit on the floor. Do not sit on

  166. the floor and work on your notebook with your computer.

  167. I sat on the floor work on my computer for

  168. at least three hours, right, just reply emails and stuff

  169. like that. I thought I could, you know, I thought

  170. I was still young, and just like that, then two

  171. days later I really could. I read the fresh my dad.

  172. My dad had a four uh crack tree of the

  173. crack tree of his ribs and had to take him

  174. to see doctor and get foot for him.

  175. He saw me, I said, I think you're more worshiped

  176. than me.

  177. I think that you're more worship because he saw me

  178. bending that couldn't sand straight and stuff like that. I

  179. think you're in worse condition than I am. I say

  180. that it's okay. I would still take you to go

  181. to power food, you go see doctor, but I won't

  182. let you know firends. It's because the spirits reallyn't within us.

  183. We don't give up so easily. I understand we go

  184. to different pain and this stuff like that, but because

  185. sometimes in life the few is very important, isn't it.

  186. So without the few friends, we will give.

  187. Up your halfway and we get the word is the

  188. new term. If you drive EV is range anxiety. Right,

  189. you get ranged anxiety. Oh no, do enough for you

  190. to finish. I was talking to a new EV owner

  191. yesterday in the meeting, in the leadership meeting. He's just

  192. got his new car. Oh I brought it down to

  193. fifteen percent. I felt so scared. I say, brother, you

  194. can take it out of the five percent. You can

  195. get home. I don't worry. Yes, Oh you're a claim.

  196. Really there a lot of charges around you, so you

  197. will not die. So Fred's one. What is what is

  198. it all about? Can I have the slights? It's really

  199. about the fuel to get the relutions of the feel okay.

  200. Values carry us true opposition, challenges, seasons of difficulties. Values,

  201. Values carry you true friends, no matter what comes your way,

  202. values carry you true. If you look at our wall

  203. right now, we get some new notes, some old notes

  204. correct not some older notes are crumpered so badly, staying

  205. so badly. Right. We don't throw away because it's stayed

  206. or crumpered. We don't show away because it is bad looking,

  207. because the value is still the same, It's still fifty

  208. ring it. So I won't let you know. Friends, no

  209. matter what we go to it life, the challenges, friends,

  210. the value will carry you too. At the end of

  211. the day, we want to get to heaven and hear

  212. Jesus say my good and fitful seven. We want to

  213. celebrate really. One part of ex Church Direction mission is

  214. to be part of Dream Malaysia to celebrate pastors around

  215. clang Rally who sometimes they are the only person that's

  216. serving in their local church for the past twenty or

  217. thirty years, encouraging people right praying for people and they're

  218. the only ones sometimes and sometimes we want to Our

  219. plan is to really to interview that what what, why

  220. do you do what you do? Other people can give up,

  221. other people can just let go. Yeah, because God caught me.

  222. This is who I am right. Value is a character

  223. that that that is what we are where no one

  224. sees it's really who you are where no one sees value,

  225. it's who you are when no one sees rests. Sometimes

  226. in church we can perform you or we can tell

  227. people that this is how to overcome, this is how

  228. you you put have a smile on your face, But

  229. when no one's looking, do you see a smile on

  230. your face and not?

  231. You know, it's easy.

  232. Sometimes it's preaching to say, oh, treat your wife well,

  233. but you go back home abase I'll gie with your

  234. wife and stuff like that. And sometimes it's easy to

  235. preach on stage, but when you have to walk the talk,

  236. when you when the rubber meets the road, are you

  237. still the same person?

  238. Are you consistent or not?

  239. When I was in you fellowship from five that was

  240. an age of seventeen. Among us we have this saying

  241. that we will not miss church, We will not miss

  242. even though SPM could be just the next day the

  243. stuff exam the next day, we will tell ourselves not

  244. to miss church because there was a trend after a

  245. while after our generation that it's SPM year. That year,

  246. everybody stepped up from leadership. Everybody, don't do anything for

  247. the Lord, right, just focus on your exam. A few

  248. generations before me even say that, serve all the way

  249. able to SPM right and get a test somebody from it.

  250. So in our church, really, I mean Ourburt was there

  251. when there was a campusador we used to tell our campuses.

  252. We still tell our campusallor do not just get a degree.

  253. Don't just get a degree, but also get a testimony

  254. out from the degree. See, everyone gets a degree, friends,

  255. but not everyone gets a testimony through the degree. Friends,

  256. everyonet to encourage our church. Really that at the end

  257. of the day, but no one's looking, will you still

  258. have your testimony or not?

  259. We tell.

  260. We tell campus students before they go overseas, please do

  261. not cohabitate to save money. Please do not share the

  262. same place with another with the opening sect to save

  263. money out there. We are saving money, my girlfriend, We

  264. are saving money.

  265. Right.

  266. We have that we have the challenge that we have

  267. to say that we have to tell that friends they're

  268. a purpose in this heart first before anything else. Right,

  269. you have to have these values first, we have to

  270. tell inform and a majority of the actually rendered try

  271. to hold to the values.

  272. First.

  273. The temptation is really strong overseas when no one's looking,

  274. will you still come to church?

  275. When your parents will bring you to church. So we

  276. have a lot of.

  277. Campus students from outstation, a lot right, and some of

  278. they have not experienced God for themselves even though they're Christian.

  279. Reason because is that when they were back home at

  280. the hometown, parents who bring them to church. Good parents

  281. bring them to church. You need the Bible, parents who

  282. buy them a Bible. Right, you need to go for

  283. per service, parents who fashion per service, youth service. Everything

  284. related to just parents who do. But the moment they

  285. come to clang value to study first. There is something

  286. called subway pyramids. I want to go to church, but

  287. suway pyramids join me in right, and different things that

  288. joy tempting me away from church. So the values where

  289. no one's looking when used to do this value or not?

  290. And after a while, friends, after while, some of them

  291. drift away because they say it cannot relate, cannot relate,

  292. and this is the different things. Right now, where does

  293. it come from? Where that this value comes from? Next life?

  294. Right?

  295. The tralve plus one is rooted from the Book of

  296. X X chapter two. X chapter two is based from

  297. X chapter two. It's not just based on personal experience,

  298. but based on X chapter two. And confirm to scripture.

  299. Matthew twenty four thirty five says heaven and earth shall

  300. pass away by my words, by don't mean pass away.

  301. It's very important for us to draw our values from

  302. the word of God. Subs one three eight words two

  303. says you have magnified your word above your name. So

  304. our values t this CHRLP plus what ue is drawn

  305. out from X chapter two? Why accept do? You may

  306. ask him? Why not Genesis? Because when God give us

  307. the name of X, when passive pray except two came

  308. out accepal to friends, was the time when by the

  309. apostle was was being empowered by the Holy Spirit to

  310. preach fan You know, the first message by Peter was

  311. three thousand people got safe. There was no power point,

  312. there was no illustration, there was no man's fingerprint on

  313. the message. It was God himself, empowering the people. So

  314. we want really want to go back to the source

  315. of it. We want to go back to the root

  316. why we're called X. And that's the reason why that

  317. this twelve values came out the next night.

  318. Now, what's twelve values?

  319. For? The goal is to build something that outlasts the founders.

  320. It's true, founders.

  321. Will go.

  322. In fact, right now, even say that EXCO took money

  323. founded by by passing right now?

  324. Is past now you got I was about to.

  325. Say past the rature uh fast, ratire in.

  326. The future right then after who knows?

  327. You know, we really want to pass it down, friends,

  328. because sometimes friends, a lot of people if you the

  329. vision is not the issue, friends, it's an interpretation. At

  330. the end of the day. A lot of people interpretings

  331. very differently. I think the way cleanliness. Everybody interpret cleanness

  332. very differently, very differently. Right, beating one in once in

  333. two days is considered clean to some people. Right, some

  334. people shower three times a day, right, so very different.

  335. We want to make sure that every interpretation is aligned.

  336. It's the same. So that's why the values is there, friends,

  337. realues there so that our future generation and partners will

  338. be better than we were before. It's true we want

  339. the next generation, the allies and the stuff like, to

  340. be better than us. When we started the church, friends,

  341. all we had was just pure gum owners uh, zero money,

  342. one hundred percent passion, zero money, and maybe fifty percent

  343. wisdom fifty percent. We sia just do first that worry

  344. about it later. Right, But through the years we learned

  345. what to do and what not to do.

  346. Right.

  347. Through the years we've learned. One time, I think we

  348. had Christmas production in another church. I think was it

  349. a Baptist church? Right, they had a building, we had

  350. a right, We thought it was cool. We want to

  351. interpret life element, so we wanted to put a gangster

  352. right against the role right with so back then we

  353. had money to buy soundtrack we want, so we we

  354. got someone's come we want we want the sound of

  355. people raving the engine really live out, okay, really loud,

  356. all right, to show that this person rather from church

  357. and got into a car and sped off.

  358. So we got a car right in front of church.

  359. Understand by, So this character right got angry, chow things

  360. on the floor, woke up from church, slammed the door, right,

  361. got in the cart of refice. So it was all practice.

  362. I think we've got neighbors complaining. The neighbors complain, can

  363. you tron down? Not it's lately ready. But we thought

  364. we had such really good script right and back then

  365. when we use other peoplesh Well, the moment we enter

  366. the church, really we say this, let's move things around

  367. because we need the space. Only to find that, you know,

  368. you have to ask permission first. So we want the

  369. next generation really to learn some of some of our mistakes,

  370. this type of values right, so that people could grow

  371. and be better right now, not just the next not

  372. just a future generation. What's what is this value for?

  373. It's also for yourself? Can I just see this? It's

  374. also for yourself to fulfill the assignment that God has

  375. given you here on earth. Likes say it always have

  376. been given talents. I'm gonna share from scripture later. And

  377. we want everyone here in this troop, no matter young

  378. or oh. We want everyone here to go all the

  379. way for Jesus. We want everyone here to go all

  380. the way for Christ. At the end of the day,

  381. it's him who reserve right. So, uh, what should we

  382. watch out for? Very important? What should we watch out for?

  383. Wow? I hope you can read.

  384. Yes, sorry that alignment Larry's sekid right, Okay, these are

  385. not negotiables must not be compromised, can we agree with it?

  386. No, negotiables must not be compromised.

  387. In the coming days, everything you'll be tested, this liples

  388. like everything, you'll be tested, meaning to say that there

  389. will be you'll be tempted to it patting very differently,

  390. So it's not the gootiable.

  391. Right.

  392. We all have different experience in life, you and me,

  393. We all go to very different experience. However, we must

  394. be careful not to let experience become where the value.

  395. Okay to say this because of our experience, for example,

  396. we when we started the churches, how we have what

  397. we went through. We have to be very careful, not

  398. not just because we went through this.

  399. Therefore the next generation have to go through this. First.

  400. Our keyboard, our keyboard. Three of the keyboard that was

  401. we used was working and one quarter could have work.

  402. We're not going to pass a keyboard now, although I

  403. think the keyboard is still in the storage, right, We're

  404. not going to pass a keyboard down to this. The

  405. new keyboard is you are treating. Because we went through this,

  406. you must go through this I know it's very tempting

  407. that it sounds really good, but sometimes the spirit is

  408. not supposed to pass on that way, right, So therefore

  409. not the let experience become our values. The experience in

  410. from the values basically experienced. Why will we ship our values?

  411. But our values have to be tested to the word.

  412. The Word is our ultimate value save God at day

  413. of the day. Putting God first is the value, right,

  414. and it's from scripture. Our God has to be first.

  415. So I want to encourage you friends, these are down negotiable. Finally,

  416. values is determined how we make decision in life, how

  417. we make decisions in life. You know, something that's very

  418. tempting to make this vision in life based or just

  419. what other people say.

  420. It's very tempting.

  421. I just say this, very tempting to make this vision

  422. by comparison the turn of Visio wanted the king. God says, why,

  423. I'm your king, I'm your God. I will lead you.

  424. No other kingdom have kings. It's really good to have

  425. a king. So we also want to be like other

  426. people to have a king. You know, the temptation is

  427. very strong in the Christian world. The temptation is very strong,

  428. very strong to be like someone else. But friends, the

  429. Bible says you and I are made in the image

  430. of God. Right, come on, You're made in the image

  431. of God. So sometimes the temptation is to get off

  432. God's image to be like someone else, To get off

  433. God's image to be like someone else, right, and become

  434. like someone else. Friends, Even though well meaning as we

  435. are as Christian, we are not leaving what God wants

  436. us to leave. And that's the challenge we are facing

  437. as leaders right now and Carrier. Everybody has very different interpretation, right,

  438. and that's the reason why sometimes things split somebody things

  439. goes very differently. Doesn't look the same anymore, right, be

  440. very careful with this is not negotiable, imen, right, next

  441. text page points all right, it slide up. The key

  442. point in the Holy Spirit is the promise of God.

  443. All right, just keep the sight there. I just have

  444. to go through this. Just the only reason why I'm

  445. doing this with you, because I realized that, remember I

  446. think we did the one on the what was it

  447. the other book clet we had that. Yeah, I'm backing serious, right,

  448. I'm backing serious. We had fee in the blanks, correct,

  449. Not as I was going to disappreachate, prepare my own

  450. notes that after the message. But just when they came

  451. up to me, I'm the sorry, your notes is enrich

  452. uh black which blank? I said, Why, Yeah, because there's

  453. a temptation to fee up the blank. I said, okay,

  454. So so I've learned for my mistake. So I'm just

  455. giving you the answers right now. Right, So I'm giving

  456. you answers right now.

  457. Okay. Number one? All right?

  458. Uh, the only spaces are problems again scriptures except that

  459. one was it even the disciples had who had what

  460. with Jesus for treeers had were told to Terry X

  461. Chapter one word said, but you shall wait, you shall

  462. wait in Jerusalem for the promise.

  463. First, the Holy Spirit is the promise of God. Come on.

  464. But with every problem is come on comes a waiting.

  465. And we don't like to wait. We want it now,

  466. We want it instant. We check our delivery, whatever we ordered,

  467. we check. We are tracking the past. God, thank you

  468. so much, because we love to confirm things in our hearts.

  469. Right to wait for the Holy Spirit is very abstract,

  470. which be to say that where Lord, all right, I

  471. wish there's a Holy Spirit tracker. Sometimes right you turned

  472. on the Holy Spirit is coming away. All right, just

  473. a few more, just a few more weeks to get

  474. holy spirit. And you know what's uptimes. You know what happens.

  475. We move from faith to sight. If we can check

  476. the holy we think about it for a moment, right,

  477. we move from faith to sight. How many how many

  478. of us order something that we never checked where our

  479. pastor is went very seldom something we check on the

  480. way is it in the custle? Maybe because it didn't

  481. pay something, and we check also because it's it's valuable.

  482. But if the Holy Spirit is the promise of God,

  483. this is the This is God himself promised the Holy

  484. Spirit to you waiting friends. It's part of the pastor

  485. of being spirit filled. When we go to challenges. The

  486. Bible says that this two will pass. There's a time period.

  487. But we don't like. We don't like to wait, I

  488. mean if we don't like to go. In fact, we

  489. do not like to go through any problems at all.

  490. If can't avoid the problems, if can avoided. So the

  491. only spirit is the promise. Next scripture is this? Hey, sorry,

  492. the s like before this Jesus is yeah, Jesus is

  493. to your one ditch that he goes the whole so

  494. that the helper can come. Come on, so that the

  495. helper can come John chapter sixteen, verse seven.

  496. You know in life.

  497. That if you're not careful, friends, we can go through

  498. our daily lives, daily lives without the word is having

  499. a having understand what the helper really does. So last

  500. Saturday it was a full day for the leaders. We

  501. have meetings and stuff that. No, but when your body

  502. is tired, when your body is tired, is it true?

  503. Let's be honestly with our own hearts, naturally right that

  504. we will choose the pathway of pathway of life. Okay,

  505. like this I can do to Ball, Let's do tomorrow.

  506. Right now, this is what I can do to Ball.

  507. Let's do tomorrow. That's the very natural way. So last Saturday,

  508. our last meeting finish about six pm. We were highed.

  509. We had things in our car that I was right

  510. to tell my wife.

  511. Maybe maybe maybe just.

  512. You know, put it the way that tomorrow coming to

  513. change about the autload tomorrow that my wife said, no,

  514. that since you're on the way passing by something, really unload,

  515. All right, unload. We went up to our office. The

  516. office was flooded. Okay, I'll tell you how bad it was.

  517. The flood happened at three pm. It was a four

  518. inch pipe, four inch pipe that bursts from the outs,

  519. not even our prem not even in our unit, was

  520. outside outside. Basically the landing up outside of our unit

  521. burst and.

  522. The water just gush in.

  523. I think this dropped the water about three thirty three

  524. forty five four pm by the time they realize it.

  525. By the time by the time they realized it its

  526. our the water it was the waterfall experience from level

  527. five to level four to level tree.

  528. Was that bad. The question was asked to.

  529. Us, how come you'all decide to come back at seven

  530. pm to unload? At seven pm? Said I said, I

  531. wanted to tell that, you know, I have sense from.

  532. The Lord, the Lord, there will be a leak. It's raight.

  533. As you say, the testa me that God let me hear,

  534. and stuff like that, but we let you know phrase

  535. it was not all of them. Sometimes you just you

  536. just felt like, Okay, I gotta unload. Yeah, unload, it's work,

  537. Come on, unloading its work. But when you're led by God,

  538. but the Holy Spirit is a helper. Friends, could you

  539. imagine you come back to a place to a place

  540. the next day with the mouth of water. I just

  541. described what happened to all your office furniture, our accounts

  542. stuff was wet. Part few of our documents, burs far

  543. was drenched in uh if this, thank God, really, thank

  544. God clean water. We have experienced before, waste water before

  545. in our union, the burst. But anyway, I want to

  546. share this you. The Holy Spirit is the one that led.

  547. It's not that we wanted to just say, okayler God,

  548. if you I mean you need to say God, we say,

  549. since we're passing by, because you have been empowered.

  550. Really right, And this is what happens.

  551. When I was runovating my house and I was doing

  552. one particular part, and what happened was this is that

  553. I didn't like the towels. I choose you though something

  554. because I just sald my wife a killer, let's choose

  555. the cheap perss and stuff like that. I put it

  556. onto the floor, really all right, and I just stare

  557. the stare it did feel at peace.

  558. If you have peace.

  559. The thing is almost done out, done out radio and

  560. it's a small area done not really, I just kept

  561. staring it. I did feel at peace. And I just

  562. say this. I say, yeah, I tell you what, Let's

  563. spend a bit more. Just just make sure that everything

  564. is because if we have to look at this tolous

  565. for the rest of our life, we have a look

  566. at this color and this thing for the rest of

  567. our life. I say that, uh that she she didn't

  568. have this statement to taste to me. If you're saying this, really,

  569. please go and change, because I don't hear you nagging

  570. me every day when you come back from world. I

  571. should have done it, I should have done it, right,

  572. I say, if you felt like it, let's I want

  573. to keep the piece of the family. Let's take out

  574. a bit of more money. Let's let's just break these towels.

  575. And we did, and lo and behold right, even our

  576. main core was so short to discover the subcord didn't

  577. do certain things right. There was no seamen below the

  578. towels because it was small.

  579. Rage. It's just thought. He just compressed the whole thing, right.

  580. The thing is locker ready right, and as long as

  581. nobody knows the readilation, your tous will come up. I

  582. understand the logic. But yeah, the same that I felt

  583. short change and my contractor just asked me this, how

  584. do you know that you wanted to do this? What

  585. from you that you wanted to change towels and discover this?

  586. My wife has the best answer. I want to let

  587. you know. First of all, we are Christian. First of all,

  588. we're a Christian. We have the Holy Spirit within Earth

  589. leading earth. Sometimes it she said, we don't know. My

  590. husband was said, ready, we bought it. That's why we

  591. brought the town set away. But sometimes God speak to earth,

  592. speak to earth. And did we discover this? Discovered this?

  593. And then please tell your subc because this house belongs

  594. to God, the sense of that God is provided for funding.

  595. And you know that's all she told the courtract. This

  596. house right belongs to a Christian who serves God. She said,

  597. God is gleeding and guiding us. True, that's why the Bible,

  598. the Holy Spirit, I will help you. The first thing

  599. you did, like what purpose?

  600. Right?

  601. And because if if, because the Holy Spirit is a helper.

  602. Don't you think that we can ask the Holy Spirit

  603. for help? I want your post one more thing. The

  604. Holy Spirit is the power. Right, but many times you

  605. go through our daily life, daily life without asking the

  606. Holy Spirit actually how to overcome it? If you sit

  607. down with Elder Terrens, you need about one month. He'll

  608. tell you all the stories how the Holy Spirit help

  609. him to defer different renovation plays. Find five ways to

  610. repair stuff. Repair his l l D T Okay, because

  611. it's l D TV. He's TV blue one day and no,

  612. just didn't have this burnt patch. It's just such a

  613. waste to treat. Then just for Holy Spirit, open open

  614. the open the cover, look at this thing. Then look

  615. at shape. You can fight the paths for hrey like

  616. fifty or something. He repairs, I repair my TV. He

  617. comes everything. He has a testament. He shares with me.

  618. Right and there's about thirty minutes. I got the terrorists,

  619. I got.

  620. A counse to do. I'm sharing this. We are just

  621. to encourage you. The venues.

  622. We are behind this because the Holy Spirit is a helper.

  623. But many times in our life we seller usk for

  624. us the Holy Spirit to help us.

  625. He is our power. Friends, we are housing.

  626. We look to every other sauce for inspiration for guidance,

  627. But the Holy Spirit is the one that really is

  628. the one that helps you. Okay, next ight Ah. The

  629. Holy Spirit is the power of God. We cannot do

  630. God's work in human strength. Come on, we cannot do

  631. God's work with human strength. Pause for a moment. Is

  632. it true or not? Is it true or our church?

  633. Do you think you can just host with their own strength?

  634. Hard? Even whose sting.

  635. Friends without the power of God is very hard because

  636. one thing, you'd be so angry greeting the same person

  637. who never say hello back to you when we were

  638. maybe we had some time with the whole team before, right,

  639. eld you know what some of them are every time

  640. we say good morning or the top that we're like,

  641. go say what passes or what passes or how not

  642. to get angry? Once I understand that twice I understand.

  643. And it's not that they cannot hear.

  644. They're not. Oh they're young. Just walk past us.

  645. Now, if you if passing, walk past you, if you

  646. never said good morning, the Lord blessed you'll be with you,

  647. make his face to shine upon you. She would make

  648. sure that she knows that she's walking past me. She

  649. said hello, good morning. It's good to say good morning

  650. to your elders. Okay, like that and I and I

  651. and I will know she's part of our VIP program.

  652. And you understand, friends, we cannot do God. So without

  653. the power of God, it would sip as hosting Express,

  654. So power Expresso you one of the greatest chips.

  655. I was part.

  656. I was one of the first few Expresso members. My

  657. job was just to buy food of friends. After week

  658. tree friends, we read out of things to buy already

  659. or options, so we ran with the stapers Coco Cola

  660. and yem cake Coco.

  661. Cola every weekend.

  662. That's why. That's what got past and myself the this

  663. size and we get this comments after a while, yem

  664. kick again. So we're a bit Expresso. You understand sandwich

  665. again no other cannot do something else on that something

  666. more can relaxa cannot do something now.

  667. If if you you were at the.

  668. Receiving end, come on, if you are at the receiving end,

  669. you want to take up the clean already.

  670. True or not? Come on? You want to you want

  671. to take out somebody? You want to.

  672. You're you're you're you're you're in churche of purchasing for

  673. your office, right holant, no more toilet roll and the

  674. toilet supply is there. Instead of taking the toilet supplies

  675. to refuel the toiler road, they come and tell you

  676. albut no more toilet roll. Once you understand, then you

  677. may be the person did know where to puttma right,

  678. the wether was kept the you tell all you say

  679. it's kept here second time the time half with the

  680. mind of you want to say, hey there's a bid.

  681. They just used to be there, right. I want to

  682. show you you cannot do the things. So even as

  683. simple as wholest thing buying food right, something, we think

  684. that we can do things with our own strength very hard,

  685. very hard. And that's the reason why sometimes people do

  686. want to serve because even with the serve with their

  687. own strength, this is what this is what causes to

  688. give up our ministry.

  689. It's a hot ground. People are very challenging.

  690. We have a lot of consumer Christians, consumer need, but

  691. very productive Christians that really be part of the solution.

  692. One just plan the leaders meeting was I don't want

  693. let you know eighty percent or just part is serving

  694. praise lor hallelujah. Then the next us are they productive?

  695. None? Right now? The next next part that's like up again.

  696. We cannot obey christ commandment or what in the ways

  697. in world without the Holy Spirit. We cannot obey Christ's

  698. commandment work in it is real and the world without

  699. the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Christ

  700. teaching reminds us of Christ teaching reminds us of Christ teaching.

  701. This is how our mother just to just to share

  702. a personal story with you all. In my more wilder days, right,

  703. I have always have one, especially when we're young. I

  704. always have all have our rebellious wilder days and stuff

  705. like that. And I remember one time, I remember one

  706. time that you know that I was you know, I

  707. wasn't very very interested in church, was growing pup of

  708. your fellowship was disillusion Jada, which I will termlog just

  709. I think everything. I just want to say, I was

  710. just being rebellious of our friends. I don't try try

  711. try not justify yourself. The leaders disappointment. No, no, no,

  712. I would just want to be rebretless. They want to conform.

  713. But will know me from youth back then said at

  714. this the youth they did not want to conform. She

  715. was a youth leader. She told the youth do certain things.

  716. I refuse to do it because I just thought I

  717. was so boring and just dum And this is for kids.

  718. I'm not a kid anymore. And stuff like that So

  719. anyway one time you though I was. I remember I

  720. was in college and just somebod they want anything, you know,

  721. about to do some something really bad and stuff like that.

  722. Next thing, I know friends, you know, I call a

  723. phone call for Pazza Cendra, phone call for Possendra.

  724. I said, yeah, where are you? Where are you? You

  725. know that the one phone called friends?

  726. I think, what but breaks your top process of like

  727. you know, like you want to do you want you

  728. want to go like a particular direction, and the fun

  729. phone call comes and just bring a top process.

  730. Where are you? I say, who are you with? I

  731. want to see God, Holy.

  732. Spirit, righth no out with people.

  733. Oh she knew.

  734. I was like tried to come up because the way

  735. I speak ready, because I.

  736. Know she knows, uh knows me for a very long time.

  737. She knows. But when I was trying to cover up,

  738. that's why you spent a long time.

  739. We've got friends for whatever reason you tried to cover

  740. up as a reason, that's an excuse. Whyever, we are

  741. putting God see through the heart first. So she said,

  742. I know what you're going to do, okay, but please

  743. don't do it all right, Please come back to the

  744. lot all right, stuff like that, and and after I

  745. decided to carry out with my plans and just went

  746. back after that and the things that I'm just can't

  747. taking it short because I was a lively We can

  748. say so mutch and stuff like that. But I want

  749. you know that's the Holy Spirit does. She reminds you

  750. of friends. I was really the only thing used people

  751. like you know, I had the problem. I've talked to

  752. myself that of all times, why now let me do

  753. what I want to do? They call me later like

  754. that more sober or something like that, like you know what,

  755. the Holy Spirit must have let her to court that

  756. particular time. We can't we can't govern everybody in church

  757. like we don't have a TV everybody's life.

  758. That's that's ridiculous. That's not how God wants it.

  759. Sometime when God puts a name on your heart to

  760. call you call that what that particular moment, it ministers.

  761. It brings healing, It helps the individual. One that I

  762. sat next to a person and uh, this person wanted

  763. to tell me something, but they know just started that.

  764. I just look at this person. Why you want to

  765. tell me you got a boyfriend?

  766. Right?

  767. The person just got shot yeah, oh, I wanted to

  768. tell you that, old but do you know how to

  769. start the conversation?

  770. I say, how do you know? I said? God told me?

  771. Seriously, I say, I don't go where the city next

  772. to someone else in frodire. You you got a boyfriend, right,

  773. I don't go. You know, we don't go a wrong

  774. like that, Albert, you know this, this, this do we

  775. don't go wrong with that. But sometimes God prompts you

  776. want that. You know, friends, you can't do God's work

  777. without the Holy Spirit, really can't community work and stuff

  778. like that, because something you get so angry, something you

  779. go like hide the words. You get hijacked by your

  780. emotions and your abandoned God's work, and you've got your

  781. personal vendetta right next night. The Holy Spirit is the

  782. power of God. Oh, looks I did not I did

  783. not end up put my slice in the order. All right, cool,

  784. I'm so sorry as you could see, right, huh yeah,

  785. walking the spirit?

  786. Okay? Cool? Don't you give this? Yeah?

  787. Yes, same, okay, next y, next day, the next dame?

  788. All right after this give you everything story?

  789. Okay? That please gives me? All right.

  790. I had a really bad back side to concentrate I

  791. tell why my wife put.

  792. Tiger Obama me.

  793. Okay, ah, she didn't how much you put it, or

  794. she put it so much until friends, I can last

  795. the the thing I was, it was so sticky. I

  796. think my T shirt was sticky on my back the

  797. whole time I entered the office. Everybody get says my presence.

  798. So last night when I slept, the time she put

  799. and it was really before I stood the Holy I

  800. say I was. I was in pain the whole time.

  801. I'm just sorry with the slices. Apologies again. Okay, walk

  802. in the spirit. Okay, that's correct. Next light the missaw anyone, no, no,

  803. that I did everything video, okay, this were okay, let's

  804. go walk in the spirit.

  805. Please forgive me. Okay, walking in the spirit. Okay. We

  806. can't do God say the human stream. I said there

  807. earlier on.

  808. We can all make Christ's commandsmen in this reel without

  809. the Holy Spirit. Finally, it's the son of Sam. I

  810. can be forgiven by against the Holy Spirit, not.

  811. You know when when we when we do church, do church.

  812. The Holy Spirit is given by by God to us,

  813. and sometimes we ignore the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we say

  814. things against the Holy Spirit. We have Christians, who does

  815. that before? The key thing about these words is that

  816. do not ignore the Holy Spirit that was given to us.

  817. That's why you may ask why not Christ said that

  818. as the first value. But if you look at except

  819. to the Spirit came first. Yes, Christ is still there,

  820. but the second duous Christ centered. But this cuture aims

  821. to remind us how precious the Holy Spirit is. One

  822. mighty healing evangelist Katrinekumman was her name. She just said

  823. this in one of the meetings. The Holy Spirit is

  824. all that I have. Without Holy Spirit, I'm nothing. Please,

  825. don't grieve the Holy Spirit. And sometimes in life, how

  826. do we give you ignore? We just ignore the voice.

  827. We just ignore.

  828. And that's why it's heart.

  829. I want to encourage you believers here in this shrew

  830. really to acknowledge the Holy Spirit in your daily life.

  831. You may ask the elder how I want to show

  832. you the next light? The next sight is. This is

  833. not in your notes, but I want to give you

  834. as I'm going to close next, I want let you first,

  835. there's an appointment. It's not your notes. This is my

  836. personal notes for your There's an appointment in your life. Friends,

  837. It's not it's not it's not your point. I want

  838. to let you know why it's sill important for us

  839. screen because there's an appointment, friends, says Actually, I'm gonna

  840. take all this from extcep to what was it? You

  841. shall receive power from the Holy Spirit. It comes upon you,

  842. and you shall be witnessed to be in Jerusalem. Do

  843. there and to answer. Just keep on to that sight

  844. before that. You don't need to change us first, all

  845. of us your God assignment. Come on, look at nighbor

  846. now right now, it's the assignment. You have an assignment. Assignment.

  847. That's the reason why you're still alive. Your assignment is

  848. not done yet. Your assignment is not done yet. No

  849. matter how young, how old you're your assignment is not

  850. done yet. Friends, all of us here half an assignment

  851. by God. We have at our workplace. God put us

  852. there to be liked in our workplace. At your office

  853. and your shop, assignment is there and your home to

  854. be the best parent you could be in God, to

  855. your children, to your campus. The assignment. So I always

  856. your God assignment Firs. But this assignment could be very difficult.

  857. Like I say again earlier on, it's very difficult because

  858. you're dealing with people. This assignment is very challenging because

  859. you're dealing with different people, different interpretation, different understanding, different mindsets,

  860. half people, I'm pleasant people makes you feel like giving

  861. up before before you want to start right. So with

  862. every appointment next night, with every appointment comes sorry, sorry

  863. I think I made me say. We ever become an assignment.

  864. So your appointment not comings side. You shall be a witness,

  865. witness in your place next Like with every assignment comes anointing.

  866. This I'm going to end. With every appointment comes anointing.

  867. A lot of us try to be witnessed without the

  868. power of God. Try to do things without the involvement

  869. of God, even though it's a Christian thing. Oh, let's

  870. show an event why to reach out to people? But

  871. there is no prayer And that's what happens.

  872. Frans.

  873. Sometimes we get we get let's do this. I say, great,

  874. it's a good school suggestion. But where did they come from?

  875. Did you label it in prayer?

  876. Not?

  877. Did you pray about it? Did you think the lot

  878. about it? We get young people something that come to us, Hey,

  879. maybe we should do this, you know, to reach out

  880. to this good suggestion? But was that?

  881. Was it? Labor in prayer. Come on?

  882. Or was it because you watch something you felt inspired

  883. and that's what you want to repeat it?

  884. We get, we get.

  885. All these things come come away, but friends with the appointment.

  886. With the appointment, friends comes as simon. Then after the

  887. cyber comes anointing. You need the anointing of God to do.

  888. What you need to do.

  889. That's why the Bible says that He give us the

  890. Holy Spirit to be witness for Christ. The word witness

  891. is the word martyr to die for Christ. You would

  892. hear the word death really right first? Isn't it true?

  893. It is not something you rush into it, It is

  894. not something you embrace. It is that something like heah,

  895. thank you Jesus, I can die for you. If you

  896. were to have a mission conference and the team for

  897. the mission conference is to die for Jesus on the

  898. mission's feel I can get you the sam Maybe it's

  899. only about one percent of the whole church. Because dying

  900. to self is hard. Come on, isn't it true? Dying

  901. to self?

  902. Come on?

  903. You know, dying to self is hard. Dying to self

  904. is hard. But what enables you to die to yourself

  905. is through the help of the Holy Spirit. As I

  906. close friends. I do not want you to miss out

  907. on your assignment. I don't want you to miss out

  908. on your assignment. That's one of the key values. The

  909. moan is spirit filled. The Holy Spirit, the Bible says,

  910. is given you as a helper. There is a reason

  911. why God give us the Holy Spirit. The helper of

  912. friends doesn't mean to help you with your cleanness of

  913. your house. Oh my garden is in the mess. Holy Spirit,

  914. take you so much right. The dish in the thing,

  915. they're not Holy Spirit, take you right. It's not that

  916. it's pree sure it is spiriture.

  917. There was.

  918. There was a famous preacher by name of Leicester Summraw,

  919. and he operates a lot in the gift.

  920. And once I enter back to his room, his room

  921. was just so messy.

  922. If our evil presence there. He commanded evil presence to

  923. leave his room. The presence left ready, messed up his

  924. rooms left ready. They look at his room. I'm so

  925. tired from ministry, say God, I'm just going to do this.

  926. He called the evil presence back to his room before

  927. you leave, clean it up.

  928. Now.

  929. There was there was in his autobiography book. Okay, autobiography book,

  930. I understand something you read it like trure or not right,

  931. true or not. Then after that you can see the

  932. evil presence came my room. Okay, come on, my baby

  933. will not be clean. Then before you leave, all right,

  934. this is account his story. But I will let you know, friends,

  935. as a close God, just give me this extra one

  936. will say for excot to community this morning and today

  937. for next service. Because everyone here there's an appointment. You're

  938. all appointed by God. Even though I year it's about

  939. whether you're serving or not. You're appointed by God right

  940. your you're appointed by God. God has caught you. I

  941. wonder all you, God has caught you. It comes with

  942. the calling comes assignment. All you have an assignment? You

  943. have You can't say assignment because you know I didn't

  944. get any very very famous. I didn'tet any email, No

  945. notification came in, no reminder us, nothing at all. You'll

  946. have an assignment. The reason why I believe it is

  947. because you're still here. You're still alive. You have an assignment.

  948. Now we'll say I retire from my cyber you know,

  949. until your last refuser an assignment. Okay, friends, can we

  950. agree with that? Now let's get the job done. You

  951. need the Holy Spirit empowerment, the anointing that was a scripture.

  952. I got what I was praying for today. I want

  953. to guess I close on and encourage you. Happen too,

  954. God's annoying thing. Ask the Holy Spirit for help.

  955. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more
