Let's talk about revival fire.

I'll try to go treat real quick X chapter four

of US twenty nine thirty one.

Are you guys okay? Cool?

So first point for revival to happen, we need the

Holy Spirit. And again, I don't want to get into

any theological debate, you know, because I know that there's

top process about the cessation. If you don't know what

that means, great research yourself. I'm not gonna explain it here.

Or there are different different idea you know that, oh

you know, the miracles or Holy Spirit will happen then

on me and not now, and a lot a lot

of different things. I don't want to get into that discussion, right.

I want to share with you what the Bible says,

and I will to share you my own experience because

the only thing that I can understand is really my experience, right,

my testimony, my experience of how God moved right. So

we want a revival right in our lives. You know,

aren't you tired?

Right?

If you are in a place where you're just drudging

your feet along and you're not excited, and you're not

looking forward to the weak. No, that's quite sad, actually,

you know, and and and we should be looking forward

to the We should be looking forward despite the challenges

we might face, to what the Lord is going to

do in our lives, not what our uncle is going

to say, is going to say A what's going to say? No,

what God is going to do, despite what we're gonna face, correct,

despite the challenge you're going to face.

One of the things about the.

Bible that is quite powerful is the power to overcome.

You'll catch that, not not that power to succumb, nor

the power to overcome the challenge, No, meaning are the

challenge is still still there. By overcoming, that's powerful. Friends,

don't you want that power? Don't you want to experience that?

But you've got to make her decisions right, because overcoming

is all about making our decisions right and doing what's right.

that I go away. For if I do not go away,

the helper will not come to you. But if I depart,

I will send him to you. And when he has come,

he will convict the world of sin and of righteousness,

and of judgment, of sin because they do not believe

in me. Of righteous because I go to my Father

and you see me no more of judgment, because the

ruler of this world is judged. So who is the

one that convicts hearts? Is it Jesus? No, it's the

Holy Spirit. It's the Holy Spirit that convicts heart of sin.

That's why when we in Christ, you are to go

and preach the world, and go and share the godspel

and got.

Invite your friends to church.

See, it's not your responsibility that they get safe in

our friends.

So can you please don't be so extional?

Right? We sometimes stick up the rest? Why why are

you thinking of the responsibility? Your job is just to

go and share The word is bonus because the Holy

Spirit's power on you is to make your witness.

It's not make you to convert anything, because it's not

in your power to convert. It is only true the

Holy Spirit power that people will receive Christ as their

personal law and savior. Right, so the Holy Spirit will

convict hearts, and only through him people are safe. And

through him we have boness to be witnesses. Through him

we also display the fruit of the spirit. How many

of you dealing with anger here? How many of you

don't have enough patience? How many of you have I

would dare say, I used to have an anger problem.

Used to I declare that right now. Okay, I thought

I dealt with it before I got married. Oh wow,

when you had kids, it comes back and it comes

that worse. And I tell you that God had to

deal with me. God had to when I was forty

years old, forty old man, I had to go to

my six year old son and apologize to him for

something I did wrong.

Because the Holy.

Spirit convicted me, not because my wife screed me, not

because I saw my son cry in the room because

he was very happy eitty by the time, because I

woke up at six a m. And I couldn't sleep,

because the Holy Spirit convicted me. Friends, he was very

humbling because I had all right, right now, you thought

about right, all right as a father to address him.

But there was one thing I did wrong that I

had to aprogust my son for I became unnecessarily angry,

and I recognized where the anger came from.

Unfortunately. Right.

If you go and see a psychologist, you go and

see a you know, therapist, they'll tell you, Oh, you know,

is there anything that happen in your childhood?

Yeah?

Many things happen in my childhood. I mean I grew

up in the childhood dead. You know, God bless my mom.

But you don't use kne one. She use whatever she

can find, and she tried.

It at you. You know.

I go back, Homer, now I realize some of the

things that I am very big on, right, it is

a byproduct of my childhood. I go back home, right,

being very afraid. No one known to make my parents angry. Right,

and now I'm seeing that happen with my kids. I'm like, wait,

something's wrong man. A few years back, right, and I

had to ask God, can you please let me let

it stop here, Let the generational curse stop here, that

I don't.

Have to deal with it anymore. So it was true,

the Holy spray. It's not true. Me not true.

It's aking, psychiatry, not true. Any of this thing, it's

not even though speaking of a bustard it was true. Sorry,

it was true. The Holy Street convicting my heart and me.

One thing to say, okay, I will do the hard thing.

So I woke up.

I went to his room and he forgot everything aday

because he was the night before. Don't forgot everything. I

don't know how I sard.

This year before.

Maybe I've shared this year before. I've shed it a

few times before. And I went to him and I said, son,

you know I was getting faid for a groga in

the morning, you know, getting ready for school as his

son remain last night. I said, yeah that right, And

again he don't want to make me angry again, right,

yeah that uh. And I said, I'm sorry, okay, nothing

andy like that, right. And I had to make sure

that I was very clear. I said, no, no, no, come

sit down. Let me look at you. I am sorry

for shouting you yesterday. Even if you did do something wrong,

it was wrong of me to throw my anger at you.

And then he looked at me. He caught it, and

then he did say I did my thing, okay. He

was very humbling, number one. He was also very releasing.

And I tell you, the interesting thing for me as

a father is that what kind of role model do

I want to be for my kids? That's a very

good thought process. Right, and the revelation I had for

doing that. I was struggling, you know, I'm like, oh God,

you know, say sorry. He mis six years. You don't

get it, you know, I was just struggling. I'm like, oh, Kaela,

do it. And after I did that, let me give

you the revelation. Because I did that, my son now

has a reference point. As a man, if he does

anything wrong, he will say sorry. Imagine if I didn't

do that, then he will know have no reference point

and he will learn that no matter what happens, Daddy

is king.

Daddy can do no wrong.

We all know that's not true, right, and as a man,

he will hold onto that.

That's very dangerous. No, that's very dangerous.

So because of that, he has a reference point. And

I'm like, thank God, thank God, my son has such

a reference point that he's dead can say sorry and

that he's okay for him to say sorry, especially when

he did something wrong.

Right.

So the Holy Spirit really will convict our hearts. So

if you want true changed friends, that's why I can

enchouriage you. You're struggling with stuff in your life, Come on,

the Holy Spirit. Oh Jesus, Yes, Jesus is important. But

Jesus is sitting up in heaven with his Father. No,

and who do he send to us? Let's read on,

who do you send to us?

Right?

And of course continuously through him the Holy Spirit? We

are given spiritual gives for the work of the ministry.

So the Holy Spirit is a rather big deal as

he is sent by God the Father. After Jesus left,

He left ready? Right? And this is.

The age of the Holy Spirit. We've gotta understand that

this is the age. But the question is, friends, do

we recognize him? Do we recognize the Holy Spirit? Do

we acknowledge the Holy Spirit? Do we have a relationship

I got relationship with the church leaders good but not going.

I got relationship good but not going.

Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ? Okay, let

with the Holy Spirit? Do you have communion with the

Holy Spirit? Do you have fellowship with him? Let me

teach you something. You know, we read this benediction scripture

every week and sometimes we do it. But do you

know there's so much significance in the benediction. You know

what benediction means, right, the parting words. Okay, if I

were to go a little bit like the old school,

I said, oh, brethren of you know, brethren that believes

in the Lord Jesus Christ, before you part here and

go into the world, let me give you a benediction scripture, okay.

From Second Corinthians thirteen fourteen. It says, the grace of

the Lord Jesus Christ. Catch the words are the grace

of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Love of God, and

the communion of the Holy Spirit.

Be with you all immen.

TZA one liner. It is the Trinity working in unity.

We know in the Bible it says, there is nothing

that can separate you from the love of God. Love

of God. That's why we're all safe. Because true, only

true God's love for God. So love the work he

gave his only begotten son. We all get saved, right,

That's how we got saved. Friends, But we got saved.

How true the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, true the

grace that Jesus Christ died on across. That's why we

are redeemed. And then now when just up in heaven ready,

who's around? Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, the presence

of God right, the death? We you know, so many

different the wind, the fire, whatever you wanna call it,

the Holy Spirit. So he is a big deal, friends,

but we recognize him. My encouragement today is I hope

we will start recognizing him. We will start acknowledging him,

will start standing.

Who is this person? Is here a person? Yes? He is?

So who is the spirit? Holy Spirit? Well?

First point, Holy Spirit is God?

Right?

With this exception of the second and third episode of

John over the book of the New Testament, if you

look at the whole New Testimony New Testament, right, it

contains constantly the references to the person and the work

of the Holy Spirit. Jesus reference to the Holy Spirit. I

will send my helper, and it is good that I

go away, that I sent him to come to you.

And later we'll untack. Why why is it significant?

Right?

The Holy Spirit is essential to God's plan for redemption?

Why is it exxemption? Let's read John chapter sixteen, verse eight. Okay,

what does it say? He says, here and when he

has come, he will convict the world of sin and

of righteousness and of judgment. John chapter three, What does

it say? John Chapter three? John chapter three, Verse five

to six says, most assuredly, I say to you, unless

one is born of water and of the spirit, he

cannot enter the Kingdom of God. That which is born

of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born

of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I

say to you, you must be born again. The wind

blows where he wishes, and you hear the son of it,

but cannot tell where it comes from where it goes.

So is everyone who is born of the spirit. So

we talk about being born again. How are you born again?

When you accept Christ as your personal law and savior,

and even it's in our salvation prayer we ask that

the Holy Spirit wire coming to our life and residing us.

Then you're born again. Then the Spirit is working ready,

you know. Se Yeah, Whether or not we work together

with the Holy Spirit is a separate method. That's why

we still have people who are in the flesh.

Right.

That's why Paul talks about you know, you know, I

do things I don't want to do the things I

want to do.

I don't do the things I don't want to do.

I do because we're still here on earth.

We're still here on earth, right, we still deal with

the temptations of the world. We still deal with all

these different things, and it's tough, friends. But the more

we align ourselves, it's it's all alignment. The more we

align ourselves to God, the more we align ourselves to

the Spirit, the more we commit ourselves.

To the physical events.

Am to this physical event, coming to church on a Sunday,

physical an event. I know some of us we'd rather

sleep at home or do other things, or some of

our friends with ha you first half of the day,

and some of you leaders whole day. No, no free timer,

no family timer. Isn't it important?

No? This is important to us. Do we recognize it's important?

Because by coming together intentionally to commune together as Christians,

we are allowing the world the Spirit to continue in

our lives. Because the reality is, when you go out

there after this very difficult and I'm not even going

to ask how many people did their quiet time last week.

That's the truth.

So we need these friends, we need this You have

to see it that way. We need the Holy Spirit,

we need the Church, we need prayer, we need all

these things for us to grow. We need to serve

for us to grow. Right, So this is the age

of the Holy Spirit. Jesus gone back to the Father.

He'll come back, but he has left us a helper,

which is Holy Spirit in the spray of God. So

we got to recognize that second point. The Holy Spirit

is a person. I know some people say, oh, he

say elect I remember this one example, preacher.

Are saying, if oh, you know, if God.

Is the hand that fixs the switch, Jesus is the

switch and the Holy Spirit's electricity. Eh, not very good

explanation now, right, But the Holy Spirit is actually a person.

Why because the Bible And we go back to the Bible,

John chapter sixteen. That's read John chapter sixteen, verse thirteen

to fourteen. Sorry, guys, I know I'm not doing a

John chapter sixteen, verse thirteen to fourteen.

What does he say?

He says, However, when he the spirit of truth has come,

he will guide you into all truth. For he will

not speak on his own authority. But whatever he learns,

he will speak, and he will tell you.

Things to come.

Does he sound like a wind, No, sounds like a person.

Fourteen says, he will glorify me, for he will take

of what is mine and declare it to you. How

do you know the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit?

Because everything that the Holy Spirit says, not out of

his own authority, will glorify Jesus and God.

So if you ever thought or have an idea.

And you think it's from the Lord, let me give

you a very good yard sick compared to the Word

of God. And if it is in contrary, it is

not from the Holy Spirit. It's a very simple testing ground.

God doesn't go by feeling or no, I know we

go by feelings, but go don't go by feeling. When

He actually got certain rules that we follow on right,

And that's the way to check. That's the way to

check the validity of what we believe we are hearing

from God. Check the word again, search the words, seek

the word, and you will find the answer.

Right.

Yes, ask the leaders. Leaders are learned, you know, and

hopefully not a selfish and y.

Leaders are learn it and they will learn, you know.

But will you get disappointed?

Yeah?

You might, right, But if there is a community of

faith that we trust each other, a community of believers

and witnesses that want to encourage each other to grow,

then we will get better.

Right. So he's a person.

He possess us the basic characteristics of a personality. And

I think I've got a little graph here, right, he

possess us intellect, right, the ability to think into reason.

That's why he can.

He doesn't say what he says, right, He says on

the authority of someone else.

He also has sensitivity. Have you heard of this chuicture before?

Do not grieve the Holy Spirit? Ha? You mean I

can grieve him? Can? Can? You can give them this? Great?

If you continue in doing what the things you're doing.

We profess that we are believers of Christ, but we're

still the devil in all the other stuff, then.

You're gonna grieve God. Let me give you this example.

If I have a family member there is a drug addict, right,

and I work my life and spend the money and

do everything I can up to, almost sacrificing my own

life to get the person out of drug addiction. And

a person gets clean and then two months later that

decide to go back into it again. Don't you think

I'll be grief? Isn't that what like Jesus has done first,

and God has done first Because for God soul loved

the world, he gave his only Begod, the Son. And

yet we can grieve him because we continue in our

lives daily. Right, we got to check that. Ephesians for

the Tea says, do not grief the wholy spirit. Right,

He also possesses will, the capacity of choice and decision.

That's what we know, right, Can we line through the

whole strait?

Can? Right? You read Extraptter five.

I won't go to deep into it, but I can

go read Exceptter five versus treet of fall. Right where

there was a couple called anoneys and sapphirepphire fire.

And the funny thing was, you know in those days,

you know, we read the scripture about the church and

everybody who had things in common and they sold everything

give to the church or the church to grow.

That's awesome. Right.

Our reflection of that and I can give you some revelation.

This revealed to me is generosity.

Right.

Uh, we're not saying okay, everybody pleas uh from Tom's

go and sell your house. Uh maybe Jason, sell your

house and then give to the church. No, we're not

asking you do that, right, But it's generosity. But the

people then they did that. So this couple had land,

they sold it. See, and when they want to give.

This is the funny thing about human beings, are right.

I'm not gonn talk about it, but I'm gona talk

about a bit.

So what they did was they saw the land, they

kept fifty percent of the profit and they gave the

other fifty percent to the church. And this is where

it was funny. They told the church that this was

one hundred percent of the profits. So funny, right, why yeah?

Do you want to know the funny thing? If they

were taught the church or told the process that it

was fifty percent of profit, they were acceptably anyway. No,

do you know that they would not have been looked

down or.

Because you did something big?

Fifty percent of it is big because whatever you give

it doesn't matter. That's why we also, you don't share

here that it's not about the amount, it is about

the heart, right.

And the funny thing is, I don't know why they

did that.

Then you can argue that evil or whatever, you know,

what happened to them quite scary.

I hope that happened anything.

third and final point the Holy Spirit is that we

need to understand the deity of the Holy Spirit. So

we talk about the Holy Spirit God. I think he's

talking about the power of the Holy Spirit. So the

Associated with the Father and the Son and has equal rights.

him in the car, if you are alone in the

room going through stress, one thing to give out everything,

and you're praying, he's there with you.

The Holy spray is omnipresent. How wonderful is that?

Friends, You are never alone when you are believer of

Christ and the Holy Spirit reside in your heart, you

are never alone.

Even if you feel alone, you are never alone. So

don't reject God. Don't reject him.

He is omniscient. He knows all things. That's why you know.

The Bible says you know he will pray for us

in things that we don't know. Right, have you experienced before,

my fellow, believe us that you didn't pray for it,

but it happened to you.

You didn't pray for it, but something Yeah, Holy spiritla

Holy Spirit? Right? Because he watch out for us.

And the wonderful thing is that he has the power

to do anything. Do we understand the characteristics of the

Lord we serve? Of the Holy Spirit in its human form?

Jesus was limited by time and space. That's a reality.

He could only be at one place at any particular time,

but the promised companion and comforter, the Holy Spirit, would

be able to be with all believers all the time,

in every place, even to the end of the ages.

If you don't remember anything today, I pray you remember this.

No matter where you are in your life, no matter

what you're feeling, even if everybody has left you, however

horrible you feel.

God is there, The Holy Spirit is there. Let's go

deeper into the Holy Spirit. Are you guys? Okay?

John fourteen sixteen says, and our prayer the Father, he

will give you another helper that he may abide with

you forever. And when we derive the word the Greek word,

the Greek word is paraclastos.

Right, and who is he?

He's someone summoned, called to your side, called to your side,

called to your aid.

He's someone that pleads our.

Case before judge, right, counsel for the events, defense, legal assistant,

and advocate. He's the one who pleads another course with

one an intercessor. He is our helper, our assistant, our aid.

He is our comforter. I realized that word last time

when I was younger. I don't really understand that word comforter.

Why you have comfort. Okay, what right?

Not the you know big comforter right when you're cold and.

You I tell you friends the older I grow right, wah,

you we need a comforter because sometimes our love one

can comfort us.

Right.

Uh, I mean I'll give you a I'll get an example.

So in twenty two three, I don't know what I

share this before. By twenty three, uh, twenty two entry November,

I had to go for Angel plus E to hand.

That's why I'm so honest with exercising now, okay, And

I thought it was a simple procedure. Did it eleven

o'clock in the morning, got done within an hour, and

then after that they said, oh, after six six hours,

I can.

Go back really like, oh I know, and I'm fine.

I'm fine.

There was no complications. I thought it'd be fine to thirty.

While I was waiting in the ICU, right, just observation,

let's just say simple stories, I passed out, lah, okay, yeah,

I passed out right. And again I wasn't like, we know,

I was like sitting out you know where and see

you on the toilet, you know, stuff like that.

But then I felt hungry, very weird.

And then the next few teen miniestra I'm like, oh, no,

I think I better pressed a button.

Then I pressed about that. I told the.

Nurse, and then I passed out, and then they rushed.

They came, and then they were like trying to find

out what's wrong, and we didn't have an hour. I

came back, lah, and I'm like, whoa, what happened? You know,

I've never passed out, and they were all way worried.

And I mean, if you're a doctor here, you understand this,

but you may not get it. Basically, what I experienced

was a vest of good reaction where the body shuts

down after the procedure. I mean, it's rare likely, it's

not life threatening. It just happens. Okay, it's some neural thing, okay.

But after that, right, I took it a bit serious theory.

I'm like, oh, this is not so easy as I thought.

And because of that, I was put under observation until

next day.

I'm like, I'm stuck for another hours and it's not

fun enough being stuck in ic you not fun at all? Right?

Really, I tell you I needed my comforter, not the

big comforter. I needed God. After that, my prayers were different.

Now after that I started, it's I think, you know,

some swunning tree. I started, you know, just just just

in case, just in case.

You know, Lord, I forgive everyone, just in case, just

in case I don't make it right. You know, I said,

Oh I didn't write my wheel year. You know, should

I call my wife? No?

Sisy, all these thoughts. Nine o'clock next day. I mean,

as you can see, I'm still here. You're not talking

to those goes. Nine o'clock next day, doctor came, Carlio

just came from me.

Good clear me. I was out within the hour. But

at that moment.

Friends, I know some of you will will have no

idea what that feels yet.

But if you can.

Remember anything, remember this that no matter what you go

through in life, God is there with you. That's important.

That's important. You can call upon him. It doesn't matter

whether you got yourself in trouble.

It doesn't matter. Friends. Oh, no, you know I'm so horrible.

Yeah you are. You are horrible. All of us are horrible.

Does we need Jesus?

Friends, So stop being pity party and start calling on help.

Stop being so action think that you can manage everything yourself,

and start asking God for help.

Start asking God to lead you, sarsking God to help you.

Barbara has a scripture that says us and you will

receive sick and you're fine knocking the door be open

to you. Have you even knocked? That's why we are

big on prayer. Prayer as la don't care small or big.

Pray and ask have an active faith. Friends, That's a

wonderful thing about our faith. He's called the outside to help.

It also implies to greatly strengthen encourage in spirit and living.

That's why I say you want to experience revival, You

got to recognize the Holy Spray in your life. In

the life of every believer, it is the gracious presence

of the Spirit to constantly assure us of our saviors

love and presence.

It all works and in hand.

It is true the Holy Spray in our lives, that

we are sured of God's love for us and his presence.

So what do we do, friends, what do we do? Well?

I love it that Jason mentioned it just now We've

got to walk in the spirit.

What does it mean?

John fourteen twenty six is but the helper, the Holy Spirit,

whom the Father will send in my name soon He

will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance

all things that I said to you. Okay, let me

tell you something that I've learned about God in my

years of experience being a Christian. God is very practical.

Tell me, but God is repractical. As much as we

want to hide him up and say, oh he is

you know a goal of all the miracle.

Yea, yea, yeah, yeh yeah, But he's repractical.

So right and the practicality right of how a life

of faith is. I can read in this scripture the

helper the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send him

my name, So that's very clear. Holy Spirit come to us.

He will teach us all things. Oh great, the Holy

Spirit will teach us all things. Great means things that

I don't know. I'll learn, yes, and bring to your

remembrance all things that I have said to you. How

do you know what Jesus said to you, our friends?

When I read this and I learned this, I'm like, wow,

truth that you are there, and by you being there,

Let me give you a personal testimony. So my wife's family,

she's a first gen, first gen Christian, and let's just

say that, you know, she got safe and uh overseas

she studied. She came back and she the parents only

told her one thing, don't become Christian. She kind of like,

and now my wife is the top person. She very

she listens to parents and she's like the you know,

But that's just the one thing she did.

And when she came back, she was zealous, la zealous, young,

not much guidance.

So you can just email you what happened.

So all, I mean, not all her bigs, but let's

just say that it was tough in the family and

because of that, the parents suddenly got more religious. Know

you know, it's very interesting. I mean, I don't know

all these becaus that I don't know her. So by

the time we were dating and I was gonna marry her,

she shared me all these things. And she was very

worried because she's like, oh, no, you know, I do

deal being persecuted in the family and all. And you know,

and and now I'm bringing you and you're a full

time worker, right, uh you know. And I always joke

kids go to little legends and then typically before they eat,

laws help wash the kids. So naturally the wonderful thing

about kids is the monkey se monkey.

They don't care about all these other things. So they

started doing that. They started saying grace. Can I tell

you that saying grace is a thing now in my

in laws family. Let me tell you the breakthrough. This

of stuff, and we don't protect in the food of

fast vegetarian. We eat meat right this year when we

And the next day I thought, okay, one off.

say grace again.

Every single family gathering with my in laws, they will

ask us to say grace.

But can I tell you not all of them cross

I don't just bless the food our friends.

I asked for God's love to be in their life.

I asked for God's peace to be your life.

I asked that the Lord will reveal himself to them,

My wife has a dream that my father in law

will come to worship with us. I'm believing for their friends.

But if you know my family, my family, my in laws,

and you'll be like can or not? I just also

especially now in this season, when I recognize this, I'm

being more active in praying. Recently, my dad I had

to go to the hospital. We went to the hospital

you value family, you will work hard for your family.

If you value your career, you work hard for your career.

If you value your business, your work hard. You value

your your ego, you work hard for your ego. What

do you value friends? It's very easy to say, oh,

we should all value God and your faith and all

because it's so precious.

It's very easy to say that, right, It's very easy

to teach that here, But do you really value it? Not?

Because when you really value it right, you will sacrifice

and actually the problem is the management problem. But because
