Rejoice Always: A Revived Life, Is A Thankful Life | Pr Julian Saw

My title for today is Rejoice Always, Rejoice always. A

revived life is a thankful life because if we are

truly living revived, full of life, our life will be

full of gratitude and joy. If you're truly living revived.

If you look at a person and look at a definition,

and you can imagine a revived person, right, you would

see that this person would be full of life.

It may not be in a physical.

What's the word expression, It could be usually is, but

you can imagine and paint the picture of a revived

person that's full of life, full of joy, full of gratitude,

full of thankfulness, rejoicing.

Regardless of the situation you.

In homes this week we also talked about rejoicing, so

it's along with.

The team.

And in homes we learned that rejoicing is not a feeling. Right,

Rejoicing is not a feeling. It is a choice and

a posture. Rejoicing is a choice and a posture. It

strengthens us. From the homes notes, we shift our focus

from our problems to God's presence, rejoicing to the problems

because we shifted from our problems to God's presence. Be

read from the book of Hypercoat, where the profits it

you know, when well, the victory doesn't have fruits, there's

no yield, there's no fruitfulness and crop. And they use

the word though, you know, dough the victory though that's

this issue, Though that's unfruitfulness.

Yet yet I will rejoice.

Right, we learn that rejoicing sustains us, it strengthens us,

and it's a cures us. Though the victory may not blossom,

no fruit beyond the vines. Though the labor of the

olive may fail, and the fields ye'll no food. Though

the flock may be cut off from the fall, and

there'll be no herd in the stalls, no provision verse eighteen.

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will joy

in the God of my salvation. So we're gonna look

into this this morning. Rejoice always, And I'll have just

very two simple points. And it comes from the words

rejoice and always point one, rejoice point two always. Okay,

very easy this morning, and my main scripture comes from

first Thessalonians five sixteen to eighteen. And I've said over

a couple of weeks. If you want to memorize one

person of Bible, pick one Tessalonians five sixteen, because it

only has two words, rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks

in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you

in Christ Jesus, and he can see tonalytics on pray

continually and give thanks in all circumstances, because you have

done that over the last couple of months already. So

today we look at the last one to complete the list,

Rejoice always. Before that, let me do a quick recap

about giving thanks in all circumstances. And remember in some

one hundred we learned that we enter into His gates

with thanksgiving and into his carts with praise, thanksful, not

to human blass his name. And we learned about how

there are three doors stoppers to thanksgiving. Right, three doors

stoppers to thanksgiving, because you want to enter God's door,

enter into escape with thanksgiving, and there are three things

that could possibly rob you your thanksgiving. Number one it's comparing,

and we counter that we slash that away with contentment.

The Bible teaches us to be content with what we

have and what God has given us. Be content with

God and in God. Number two, what can rob your

thanksgiving is complaining, And how we counter that if we

remember how good God has been to us, We give

thanks for all that God has done for us. Number

three the doorstop of circumstance. And how we counter that

is we know God. Because circumstances do not reflect God's

love for us. The circumstance we are in does not

reflect God's love for us. God is bigger than our circumstance,

and therefore we can give him thanks. Let's jump into

rejoice always. So that's the recap. Rejoice always. Have you

met a person that's always rejoicing before? Is that such?

Is it possible? Maybe Chris? Chris is constantly like happy

even though like there's a storm going on, Like she's

the most chill guy, like like it's okay, patient. Uh,

it's not easy to rejoice always, but the word of

God tells us to rejoice always. When you're in a mountain,

you're in a valley, or in the middle, rejoice and

and sometimes right is hardest. I would say, let's look

at it. You answered A just now means it's going great.

I'm excited. I'm looking forward to this week. There's there's

a postage coming into I ordered something on Shoppy and

it's coming and I'm looking forward to getting that. You know,

it brings a bit of excitement to you. Right, that's easy.

God has been good to me. He's been providing for me,

protecting me. It's grace and met is upon my life.

It's it's almost natural to rejoice. And sometimes you're in

you're in a crisis that forces us to go to God.

It forces us to like God, I don't know what's

going on. It's so difficult. I'm in the valley that's darkness,

and I need you. Yeah, And then out of that

comes this praise God. You're in control God. I'm gonna

praise You're gonna lift you up even through this crisis.

But those people in the middle, right, that a mad

that I'm mad, right, okay, right, you know, God hasn't

answered my prayer.

But still, okay, I still survive.

I think that's the hardest to rejoice, that's the hardest

to like pull up this energy of lifting of God's name,

of looking for joy in this situation. So we look

at a story of a husband and wife in the

Bible from Luke chapter one, and their names are Zachariah

and Elizabeth. Luke Chapter one has eighty verses. We're gonna

read all eighty verses this morning. Now, I'm just kidding.

Luke chapter one really long chapter. Zachariah and Elizabeth. If

you don't know who they are, they are mama and

Dada of John the Baptists.

They are the dad and mom of John the Baptists.

They are contemporaries with Joseph and Mary, who were the

parents of Jesus. They were in the same time of

when the birth of Jesus took place, right, and Zachariah

and Elizabeth were a faithful elderly couple.

Who had no children.

And we'll go to very quickly their story from Luke

chapter one, and I'll pull up a few verses from

Luke chapter one to help us understand what's happening in

this story. So remember their contemporaries with Joseph and Mary

means they were in the same period, same time, and

they were parents of John Theboutists. So I gave a

little bit away because earlier I said they were an

all elderly couple with no children. And we know that

both Zachariah and Elizabeth desired for children.

They desired and they prayed. They were asking.

They wanted this breakthrough of God's provision of a child.

And we see in verse six Luke, Chapter one, Zachariah

and Elizabeth were righteous in God's eyes, careful to obey

all of the Lord's commandments and regulations. They had no

children because Elizabeth was unable to conceive, and they were

both very old. If Zachariah and Elizabeth were in the

room today, I believe if I've asked the same question

just now right, I feel like they'll put up a

hand at bee like I'm in the middle. I'm like,

it's okay, how's life Zacharaian Elizabeth, how's life been? They'll

be like, I've been righteous in God's eyes. I've been

doing my part as a faithful Christian. It says also

Zachariah was serving in church. He was on duty in

the temple. Maybe it was like Ndy on stage, on

duty this week in the temple, righteous obeying all of

Lord's commandments. But there was something that was still not

there in their lives.

Right.

They were both very old and able to conceive, and

they wanted a child. It's like they were in the

middle of something of a journey where it has been

so long because they were of old age.

I don't know.

The Bible is not very specific with how old they were,

only mentioned that they were advancing their age eighties would

be considered all nineties, Yeah, yeah, you guy should go

all over sixties. Yeah, that was like sixties old for

me already. Yeah, advancing that age sixty seven maybe, And

they able to conceive trying to be faithful in their life,

on the process of hopefully getting the breakthrough, but not

there yet. Don't have the reason to like say, God

your provider for me, I'm not there. I'm not rejoicing,

not in the crisis. He's still serving, he's still being faithful.

So I believe they will answer be and we see

that Zachariah one day. The verse goes on to say

that one day, when he was serving in the temple,

an angel, the angel's name is Gabriel, appeared and announced

that Elizabeth would give birth to a son, and he

would need to call this baby John. So in the

middle of his journey, Zachariah was serving and an angel

appeared before him, and the word of God suddenly came

upon him. There was a prophecy. You will receive your breakthrough.

Your breakthrough is set in stone. It's coming already. You

receive a son, and you're the name this son John,

and the Angel Gabriel then says this in verse fourteen.

You will have great joy and gladness and many will

rejoice at his birth. It's almost like Angel Gabriel was

trying to keep instructions. I know what you've been praying for.

I know you've been seeking that breakthrough. You've been in

this process for so long, advancing age, and I'm telling

you you're gonna be rejoicing. You can now look forward

to that breakthrough that's coming up. It could be as

soon as nine months. But Zacharia's response was what I

want to bring up this morning. He said to the angel,

how can I be sure this will happen? I'm an

old man now, and my wife is also well along

in years.

Man.

Wrong, I'm sir, wrong, answer, Zacharai, because you know what

happened after that, right? The angel then said, because let

me just read it from the verse. The angel then

say in verse nineteen, I am Gabriel. I stand in

the very presence of God. It was he who sent

me to bring you this good news. It's like, why

do you say that, Zachari, Why do you say I'm

an old man? I My wife is also how can

this happen? Gabriel was almost shocking off. God came to

tell me. God came to send me to tell you

this good news. And the angel said in verse twenty,

but now since you didn't believe what I said, you

will be silent and unable to speak until the true

until the child is born, for my words.

Will certainly be fulfilled at the proper time. Yeah. So

we see this story happening to Zachariah.

It's so funny because it was something he's been waiting

for for so long, both him and Elizabeth. But when

when a hint of the fulfillment of his prayer was

about to come, all he could see was his current situation.

All he could see was his current posture and position

all the past, and instead of rejoicing in God's word,

holding onto God's word and lifting.

Up his faith, he fell back to his bath.

He fell back to his what I'm comfortable with, He

fell back to his reality. And they just said, you

will be silent until God's word is fulfilled and they'll

go into that why we think that happened.

So my point is.

Zachariah and Elizabeth, they were in this room, sitting over there,

Uncle and Auntie. How are you guys doing all of

advancing age? I was live being it's been He's been

in the middle. I've been waiting for God to break through,

to come to me, and and when I have a

glimpse of what God has said, his promises are yes

and amen. My passor should be rejoicing, taking God's word,

internalizing it, receiving it in faith, and stepping onto faith.

But Zachariah chose to be in the same place he

was in. So confession time, I'm feeling like that. I've

been feeling like that for a few weeks. This morning

was I was like I this morning so like I

we got to Judge open the door and Jaden just

like just open the car door.

He just puked. So, man, like, why why rejoice always

in every situation? Yeah, it's hard for me to master

up that that praise.

And to a large extent, I feel that in my

life where where God is just speaking to me about Yes,

there are unanswered prayers and uncertainty with my life. But

do I have the discipline to say God, I will

rejoice also, yet I will rejoice, And He's been speaking.

To me about that.

So I'm I'm preaching to myself this morning as we

go into God's word, how can we do this? How

can we be faithful to God's word in being joyful

in every situation, rejoicing in every situation? So I have

two points for you. And the first point, like I said,

is this point rejoice rejoice.

How we'll do.

It is we'll just study both these words rejoice and always,

and hopefully at the end we'll come to a place

where we can see to God's word how God commands

us to rejoice in every situation. So you're looking at

a slide, it's not a mistake. You can see the

word rejoice and like a mirror of the word rejoice.

And now would suggest this morning how we would approach

this word rejoice in a sense where like God, how

do I rejoice? Or why should I rejoice? If you're

asking a question why should I rejoice?

God?

Can I say that we are made in the image

of God? Genesis chapter one, When God created Adam, he

said he made us in his own image. And I

see rejoicing as a reflection of God's character. I see

rejoicing as a reflection of God's characters. So the reason

why the slightest like that is we have to rejoice

because the Word of God says he also rejoices over us.

And that's what we're going to study today. Okay, let's

look at rejoice. This word happens in the Bible or

occurs two to three hundred times. It's mentioned a lot, right,

depending on a translation. And we'll just look take a

look at two different verses we read already from one

Tessalonians chapter five. Just now rejoice always. And we see

these words also in Philippines. For for which is something

we all also remember Philippines. For for says rejoice in

the Lord always. Again, I will say rejoice. We see

this in Psalm chapter one one in the Old Testament.

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let

us rejoice and be glad in it. Come on today

today the Lord has made. Mercies are new. We are

to rejoice and be glad in it. So what is rejoice?

What is rejoice? Rejoice really just means to feel or

express great joy or happiness or delight. Rejoicing means to

feel or to express. It's an expression great joy, happiness,

and delight. If you go deeper into the word rejoice,

and I'll look at first the New Testament. From Greek translations,

we see many variations of the word rejoice. So in Greek,

a gallio literally means to rejoice greatly, to exalt, to

be exceedingly glad, happiness, joy, that's rejoicing. Uh. It also

means jump or leap, spring out, jump for joy, exalt

the exceedingly glad, rejoice greatly. So it's like, no, it's

it's a it's just very basic, right, what rejoice means.

It literally means to rejoice, to be happy.

So when God says, when God says, rejoice always. It's

easy in the in the mountain times when it's a

great week, but it may be harder.

In the valleys.

And I want to take a little side quest for

a short while, a little side quest, because remember we

said we enter his gates with thank you, we enter

his cards with praise. Giving praise is also rejoicing. Right,

we did this this morning. How so good He's been

so good to me. I'm gonna sing until help comes

or rejoicing him, I give him praise.

So let me ask you this question that we ask.

Our worship team, our worship team onboarding. So if you're

going to join extreme for the first time, we often

ask this question, is it necessary to be expressive in

our praise? Is it necessary to be expressive in our praise?

What do you think? Yes? No, yes, maybe, yeah, It defends,

It depends.

Yeah, because if you look at the Greek the Greek

definitions again, rejoice.

Has uh has.

A context of physical movement, an expression.

It says jump or leap or spring up.

There's an expression of of joy. For example, we take

we tak got out of the picture for a while, right,

And if I told, if I told Jess she won

the innovation award from his company and instead of getting

one thousand us she gets ten thousand USD. Wow, See

that's an expression, Oh will you jump? Will you jump

for joy?

Okay?

Yeah, but there will be an expression on what's on

the inside, right right, right?

So maybe maybe just very reserved. She's a reserve person.

Like then then she then the boss keeps a thou

you just want ten thousand USD for this innovation award?

Then she's like yeah, yes, it's like a heart. Then

the boss like, are you happy? Do you feel that

you want this? An appreciation? But the expression comes from

what's inside and the reason we asked the question of

is it necessary to be expressive in our praise? Because uh,

because there should be an expression. And I think it

depends on on the person. Like I'm a very reserved person.

They used to call me cayu in Malay means stick wood,

a plank, a log over the locks sounds worse, right,

and I and I've been in the worship ministry for

very long, so so sometimes I will get feedback, constructive

feedback from the from my leaders like are you happy

worship been God?

Your face looks like it's yeah, like you need to

go to the toilet or something. It's an expression.

So, especially when you're leading people, is important to be

expressive because you want to lift up the atmosphere of faith,

you know, in the room. But my point is like

when when it really God did something in your life

and we are rejoicing, then it comes up as an

expression of praise and rejoicing.

So is it necessary to be expression?

Prais answers yes, yes, right, And that's how we rejoice,

okay uh, And I'm thinking about like this morning or

this week. Sometimes the physical part of me stepping out

in faith to rejoice triggers me to then really lift

up my spirit.

Right.

For example, this morning, you know, it wasn't an easy morning,

get puked and some mass. I'm trying to like, you know,

I still smell like pube now. And then I come

here and and like I just want to sit down.

I want to sit down. I want to like just

mentally prep and like get focused for the message. But

but to start my end, you know, praising, I'll need

to just have faith in the process, right, and then

I feel the faith will come, the praising will come,

the rejoicing will come because I'm expressing in faith first

what's on the inside. So that's our part to play

in rejoicing. We are expressing how God is so good

to me. And keep be expressed in different manners. But

in the Greek it literally says to jump or to

leap or to spring up. If you look at the

Old Testament, which is different Hebrew Hebrew translations of the

word rejoice.

And we learned this in homes as well.

You'll see that that Gill which means to spin around

under the influence of any violent emotion.

Be glad, joy, be joyful, to go in circles.

So when if we say rejoice, it literally means a movement.

It literally means a physical expression. Okay ah. The other

one is zeus, which means be bright, cheerful, multiplight, or greatly,

make mirth.

Earlier.

I told you that we are meet in God's image,

and we rejoiced.

We know how to do it now. On a Bible is.

An expression of our inner faith in God, and it

naturally comes up. And sometimes it takes a bit of

like churning to start the faith, start praising. And I

want to show you how God does it to us

as well. Oh God does it to us. Zephania three seventeen.

The Word of God says the Lord your God, in

your myths, the Mighty One will save. He will rejoice

over you with gladness. He will quiet you with his love.

He will rejoice over you with singing. So the word

I've got comments is to rejoice, in praise, in dance,

in singing. Not only that, it says that God does

it over us. God does it over you. Tell a neighbor,

God rejoices over you. In Isaiah sixty two, verse five.

This is like, it's so good. As the bridegroom rejoices

over the brighte soul, shall that God rejoice over you.

Let's stop there and think about it for a short while.

As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride. That illustration of

the bridegroom rejoicing over the bride. God uses it to

say he rejoices over you. And I'm thinking about my

my wedding day, which is now twelve twelve years ago

or more. That's the reason to rejoice if you ever

been married before, or maybe maybe uh, you're dating and.

That girl finally said yes.

To go on a date with me, or that guy

finally texted me back, or the wedding day is it's

probably one of the most uh it should be the

most significant day of your life. Or maybe the birth

of your child is the other one. And I remember

my my, my wedding day and how it was, Uh,

it was awesome. L I really had a it was

one of the Yeah, I rejoiced the word that day.

I think about it now and likes small on my face.

Oh, okay, we don't go there.

I think about it now, and it puts a smile

on my face. I think about it now and like

I'm finally getting married with the person that I love

and wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Right,

it brings me great joy. I rejoice over it. And

to think that God says this.

Over me.

God looks at me in the same joy I had

rejoicing over my bride.

He rejoices over me.

He has that immense, intense love and joy when he

looks at me, even when I'm feeling like meh and

in the middle, even when I'm going to a crisis,

even when circumstances does seem like He looks at me

and says, Julian, you are You're great, You're awesome.

I love you. I rejoice over you. It's gonna be

a good day.

And I look at that and I and I look

at the mirror and I say, God, man, you do

that to me. I The least I can do is

to rejoice in you, to rejoice in you. So that

is why we we rejoice.

Amen. Coming to the end.

Second point always, second point is always and again. You

want to see how God has commanded us to do this,

and he himself does it to us. When we look

at the word always, we.

We think of always. Right.

So if you if you use it a negative sense, right,

if you're arguing your spouse, man talking about wedding, just

not I'm talking about arguing your spouse. If you argue

your spouse, someone like you always do that, you always

squeeze the toothpaste in the middle.

You always most of the time.

Is not true because because humans are not always consistent.

What's going on here? That's great?

Always just means always a right h. Then there are

some things in our lives that are always consistent. As

people like you see different patterns like uh, you know,

if if there's someone who's who's like John Johnny right

his athletes for High Rocks out Asia.

But no, no, that's not true.

So the reason why he's like that because he has

certain disciplines in his lifestyle that that he has put

in place to become that person. So so if you ask,

you asked, Elie, what's John doing on a Friday morning?

Like I know them. You wake up there, you go around,

run ten kilometers and you go to the gym that

you do another one hour work out.

Then he come, he come back to the laundry, make

breakfast for the kids. Are that of the year, consistency, lifestyle,

that's what always means right. So in a way, we

almost don't need to teach someone how to rejoice. When

the environment or circumstances are right, we naturally rejoice.

But it's most challenging, uh when when the when the

situations don't.

Help you to rejoice. Then that's where it always comes in.

Because always means always in every time, in every season,

every day, every minute, lifestyle consistency. One of the points

I want to say first is that if rejoicing or

being God's presence is not at lifestyle for us, we

need to check.

We need to check ourselves.

Because what are we then, because then there will be

another always right, There will be not always like like

for example, they always could be Oh, this morning I'm

gonna wake up, it's gonna be a bad dailor, so that

becomes always God, I'm stressed about this week, So on

Monday morning it's gonna be Monday blues.

That becomes your lifestyle.

And and we are not careful to take away this

little patterence in our life, you will then continue to

take over our life and it becomes our normal.

So that's the first thing I'll say.

And the next thing is we're gonna go back into

look chapter one and look at the different response of

Zachariah versus Mary. So Looke Chapter one also continues on

from talking about both Zacharai and Elizabeth, so then talking

about Mary. Where Angel Gabriel after visiting Zachariah, he also

went on to to talk to Mary, and in a

way he gave Mary the same prophecy where all favorite one, Mary,

you will give birth to a child of virgin birth

and he will be the savior of the world. So

let's look at their response, because sometimes when we are

stuck in the middle, especially for a very long time,

it can be difficult to rejoice and find joy or

find hope in God's words and promises.

So I'm looking at Zachariah.

I'm like many gave the wrong answer to Angel Gabriel,

but I can. I can resonate with him as well

because I know what he's going through. It's so much

harder to hang on to God's word when you've been

when you've been living in that non breakthrough for a

very long time.

And maybe maybe.

That's why Zachariah's mouth was silenced. You read earlier that

when Zacharia gave the response like, how is it possible

that God can bring.

Me this breakthrough?

And the angel said, why would you say that God

gave you this word? And therefore now you will be

silenced until the breakthrough comes. And maybe that's why, because

imagine if Zacharia kept on talking and he got out

of the temple and he went and meet his wife

Elizabeth and start to say he just now Angel Gabel

came to speak to me, give me.

The word of our breakthrough. The child is coming soon,

but cannot be like your so all, I'm so old,

like what's gonna happen? Oh?

Is it possible? Maybe that's why he was silenced because

he needed to change his faith up his faith changed

the position and pasture off his heart before that expression

could come.

So the expression got silence first. Change this.

So he won't bring negativity to his wife and the

situation right because of a son, they needed to act

out in faith. And then what if you like, if

they don't act in faith, so it's not possible the

whole John the Baptists.

Won't be here today and and that's why.

That's why I think that you know, we look at

the next slide, chapter one, verse eighteen, again that same statement,

I am all an old man.

Now and my wife is also well long years.

So the response wasn't rejoicing, It wasn't in faith, wasn't

stepping up in joy, right, But it was one of

looking at the current situation.

But we see Mary's.

Response when the Angel told her almost the same promise,

and actually it's even more impossible because she wasn't even

married yet. Mary said this too, in the Angel, may

everything you have said about me come true? And then

the angel after so she had a response of holding

on to God's word despite of the situation, despite of

the possibility.

She shout on to God's word.

And we know after that if you read on Mary

and Elizabeth met and in fact, Elizabeth said this to Mary,

you are blessed because you believe that the Lord will

do what he said. How do we rejoice always? How

do we rejoice always? Always in every situation we need

to do what Mary did. You are blessed because you

believe that the Lord would.

Do what he said.

So we don't rejoice in the promise coming true. We

rejoice then, But when it's not here yet, we don't

rejoice in the problem is coming true. We don't rejoice

living on a mountain. We don't rejoice in the gift.

But we rejoice and hang on to the Lord, the

Word of God. And that's how we rejoice always. We

see that if you read further down in Luke chapter one,

it's called the magnificat Mary's song of praise. Breakthrough hasn't come,

promise not fulfilled yet, And she says this. Mary said,

my soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God,

my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble

state of his servant.

For now on, all generations will call me blessed. I

love this.

Mary said this, My soul glorifies the lot, and my

spirit rejoices in God, my Savior. That is how we

rejoice always. We can rejoice over temporary things. Wait for

a holiday, this evening, going camping, lamping, I'm gonna rejoice

over it. I'm looking forward to spending time with my family.

We rejoice over that. But the only way we can

rejoice always is when we say, my spirit rejoices in God,

my Savior, He is the reason we rejoice. He is

the foundation of us jumping up, enjoy and rejoicing always.

So don't let your mind and heart look back or

be trapped in the current situation.

Rejoicing in the Lord meaning surround your heart and soul

with God's words and promises, just like Mary did.

Amen, That's how we do it.

And this final part, I'm not gonna need help from

two volunteers, which I forgot to. I forgot to preemp

but I want to show you how when God asks

us to always rejoice is because that's his character, because

it's always rejoicing over us as well, and especially if

you're going through a valley or going through difficult times,

or it just made. Let me show you some to

any tree it says they do. I walk through the

value of the shadow of that. I will fear no evil,

for you are with me. Your rod and your staff

they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in

the presence.

Of my enemies. You anoint my head with all my

cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days

of my life. What the problem is, Surely goodness and

mercy shall follow me all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

This always, this consistent consistency comes from God itself, he said,

I will dwell in the house of the Lot forever

you can't pop, forever you can't talk. Shall follow me

all the days of my life. So this is how

I see it. I think I did this before. I

want to do it again, just to wake you guys.

Stop before I'm gonna get like two strong men here.

I think I look at Mark and oh do okay,

Nate is goodness, goodness, he looks good. And we've got

Sawyer who is mercy.

So the word I've got to say is early goodness

and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.

Right. So I'm just like I'm just going around life, guys,

fool just following me.

Man, I'm going to back up the room. What if

you're here, Oh goodness and mercy and some days are

like just chill men, You're still here. God is just

a normal day. I'm just sitting down. Nothing's happening. Break

tree isn't here yet. Goodness and mercy, I'm running out

of breaks. They're still here, And like God, some days

I'm just Oh, it's still following me. Oh man, it's

a mountain walking around. Why are you always following me? Guys,

come on, Goodness and mercy will follow me all the

days of my life. Thank you, Goodness and mercy. And

let's remember that. Thank you so much, guys, Nate and

saw Yer. Wherever we go, the front of the hall,

the back of the hall. If you try to outrun

God's goodness and mercy, we cannot because God's words says

that it follows us.

It's there. We are covered by his goodness.

On days that are bad, goodness is still there through God.

On days where sin and fallen short, mercy is there.

It follows me all the days with my life. Let

me read some one three nine. David says this, Where

can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee

from your presence? If I go up to the heavens,

you are there. If I make my bit in the depths,

you are there. If I rise on the wings of

the dawn. If I settle on the fastide of the sea,

even there, your hand will guide me. Your right hand

will follow, will hold me fast. I say, surely the

darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me.

Even the darkness will not be dark to you. The

night will shine like the day. For darkness, it's light

to you.

So we can be consistent and always rejoicing because God

did it for us first. His promise us is yes.

In every situation. My mercy, my goodness is there for you.
