What was on your mind this morning when you woke up? Oh,

I need to get ready for church? Oh I need

to wake up. Or you're worried about a deadline that's

due tomorrow, right for real?

Yeah, we're worried.

About that sickness that's been annoying you for months. Thought

about it, sugar, something right, you must have thought or

something when.

You woke up.

What was on your mind last night before you fell asleep?

The scsteachers had amazing uh what's it called?

I got ex kids and.

Teachers training yesterday full day, most of us from ESKK.

We were there from.

Seven thirty, yeah, thirty seven. Some were there from seven

all the way till five thirty, or actually closer to

six because we had clear up as well.

Yes I know.

The wife was waiting for Jack Wood, John who was

our chairperson, John and Justin one lovely chairpersons all s

KK represent and then Joan and myself. One of the

trainers was also a lot represented representations from SKK.

That's good.

Our teachers are fired up, excited, some already practicing.

I mean our customed.

He's tremated yesterday because I what did you say? I

was so impacted or revived today or you know, had

an amazing time. I volunteered to lead devotion this morning,

so with the teachers, he led devotion epic encounter.

what we learned in X kids training.

Know the word kingdom right, Kingdom God's kingdom or kingdom

of heaven can sound quite abstract, right, I know as

a younger believer actually for many years though, it's like kingdom,

what is that?

Kingdom? Heaven like heaven? I know, kingdom? What does it mean? So?

Have you ever wondered what it means to be kingdom minded?

Have all of you if you've heard the term before

being kingdom minded or the concept, just raise your hand,

give me a wave some of you some of you

sort of heard the concept, kind of know or heard it,

don't really know what it is. So we're gonna dive

de point it together. Okay, you can go to my

next slide. So, I know kingdom sounds a bit abstract,

can be a bit conceptual rather than a tangible thing that.

You feel you see.

Okay, So let's talk about kingdom or what is a

kingdom made of? Yes, there's a king, very good? What

else does it need to have? You're looking in subjects?

Yeah, subjects, subjects right? Citizens? Right yet in Malaysia? Is

a kingdom? Kingdom of Malaysia? Because you're artging you have your.

Right yet right and you need one king in he right?

Not many kings.

There are a few kings in any country, any kingdom,

one one king, subjects, many many subjects.

The more subjects, the bigger the kingdom.

Right, the more power you have. Have you anyone played

I used to play this as a kid.

Is the world met there and you just got to

conquer as much many countries as you cannot. And that's

how you've been, you know, conquer the whole world. But yeah,

the modern subjects, the larger the kingdom, the realm, the dominion.

Okay, So.

Go back to this, right, we see that verse in

my Fu chapter four or seventeen. You know, this time

we don't turn to much scripture because a lot of

it is in your book and on the slights, okay,

but Jesus was preaching saying this a lot of times. Right.

Try the Gospel. You'll read it.

Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. What

does that mean? I know for many years when I

read that, I had no idea, no clue. What does

that mean? What is just talking about the Kingdom of

Heaven is at hand. Okay, I see the Greek word

it's pronounced bessilia basilia, kingdom, and it just means a

king's reign, okay, sovereign, sovereign rule or realm or dominion.

And so the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven

is interchangeable. You can call the Kingdom of God Kingdom

of heaven. It's simply this. It's the active sovereign reign

or supreme power. Okay, sovereign, big word, supreme power. Okay,

God's reign over creation, over creation can go the two

slights later after the risk picture. It is a future

hope of what's to come, right, That's why you're saying,

you know of heaven is at hand. It is a

future hope of what's to come, a restored world, arrestored

universe where God permanently defeats defeats sin, defeats sickness, defeats death.

But at hand at hand actually means it's about to

happen or is readily available, meaning it's already there.

It is there.

Okay, So it's it is a future hope when the

world ends, you know, that's the final our reality, but

it is also a very present reality to live by

every day. Okay, it is already here, Jesus saying it's

already here. We can we take hold of it. And

when people submit to God's rule, God's rule got rain,

then we experience He's redeeming grace, He's redeeming love, his peace,

his justice, his holiness, his goodness. Basically, we experienced the

true purpose of life. Right, this, This is what it means.

Why the Kingdom of Heaven is here? It's already here.

God has has already made it available to us. Is

we need to take hold of it? Okay, it still

sound a little bit as strang and mint's let's go

deeper into that.

Now. Why does it matter?

Right?

How you got down your notes? What is kingdom?

Right? You took that down as the actives of our

reign of God. Ah, and it's it's both to come

and also already here. But why does it matter? What

is the kingdom matter? I think you've heard these a

few times. Why didn't God just take us back to

heaven the moment we got saved? Right, If the goal

is to get to heaven, then a woman who say

yes Jesus say the salvation prayer, I'm going to follow you.

Then we end up in heaven with him. But God

is not only about our salvation. That is not the

most you know, the only thing. He is about our sonship.

Take that down. Okay, He's not about just our salvation.

He's about sonship. And salvation is just the beginning towards sonship.

It is the start, okay, the beginning of salvation. And

if you think about it, you think about, right, the

beginning of Edam. And if when God first created man,

what salvation and necessity?

No?

Right, what is that? Don't need such a thing because

man was with God. God was with men. Everything was perfect,

and man was walking with God.

But what happened?

We lost it in the garden of Eden. My kids

were just asking asking me, So, if if Edam and

if didn't seen, then is it there won't be any

scein or what do you ask you? Didn't you asking

about the animals? Also, the animals won't be eating each other.

The new we talk about the new, the new Earth, right,

the lion and the lamb together. Yeah.

I don't know how we got into that conversation in

the car, but yeah, these are.

Conversations you have with your kids in the car. So

it's very deep.

But that was the original design of God for men, right,

for men to work with God got to work with

men and to be sons and daughters of God. But

because of that separation, now we need salvation. That's why

salvation now is in the picture, and we need that first. Right,

But that wasn't the main main thing. Okay, only take

this down. Our only sons and daughters can be fruitful

and multiply.

Can you read it?

Verse their Genesis one, verse twenty eight, be fruitful and multiply,

fill the earth and subdue it. That was God's commandment

to Adam and Eve when he first created them.

Right, be fruitful, multiply, I feel the earth subdue it.

And and Eve were the first son and daughter of God,

and that was the command. So God wants his sons

and daughters to bring his kingdom to earth.

It's not just.

Hirlings, not just volunteers, not just servants.

He wants sons and daughters.

Okay, don't you think the earth will benefit if the

Kingdom of God spirits and takes dominion over everything?

Right?

Don't you agree?

Imagine with me at a world where God is sovereign. Okay,

his holiness is justice. There will be no hate, right,

no hate, no war, no murder, no killings. There will

be no greed. There will be no selfishness, hence no poverty. Right,

there will be no lack because everyone gives, everyone sharing.

There will be no crime, no need for crime because

everyone there's no leg right, Why is there crimes because

there's leg Why is there crime?

Because there's hate?

No drugs, no addictions, no self centeredness, which then means

there will be no divorce, there will be no dysfunctional families.

I can go on and on. There are a lot

of examples we can think of. If God's reign was

really here and the whole world was filled with it.

So God wants his sons and daughters to bring that,

to bring that.

That environment, the atmosphere to earth. Okay, there's there's.

So much that the world will benefit if God's kingdom

is here and it's brought to earth by his sons

and daughters.

You and me, all right, who's the son and daughters

for God? Give it a wave. You you're not sure?

You will be assured today this morning that you are

And if it think about it, another word for sons

and daughters is disciples because disciples take on the image

and character of Jesus. Right, we follow him, we obey him,

we try to be more and more like him, you know.

And that's why his commandment and his commission to us

is to make disciples.

Right.

He really passed it on to his apostles and he said,

go ahead, make disciples. Why that's the only way he's

going to gain more and more sons and daughters. Restoration

basically restore us to the original what will be supposed

to be at the beginning.

We were just supposed to be sons and daughters of God. Amen.

So we want to help more and more people be

sons and daughters of the Kingdom.

Okay. So that is why it matters.

And we're going to talk about what is right after

having said all that, what is kingdom minded?

What is it? Okay?

So remember again we talked about salvation. It is just

the entry point, starting point now because we need it.

We need a starting point. We must be born against

all of us. I think we say that prayer we

invited Jesus into our hearts. We're born again first into

the Kingdom of God.

Okay.

So yeay, now we're a baby baby in the Kingdom

of God. There we grow up become children of God.

He gives us the right to become children of God

the moment we say yes, Jesus, I want to follow you. Right,

But we don't remain as children. So what is kingdom

minded us? We don't just remain as children. We then mature.

We mature to become sons and daughters, heirs of the kingdom. Right.

It means if you think about children, you think about

kids are babies like Elle, has Amadeus ever woken up? Mommy?

Can I help you with this?

No?

Right, Children usual just receive and take.

But as we mature, as we grow up, then we

start to give, We start to help, we start to contribute. Okay,

So the first point about kingdom mindedness that want to

bring to us firstly is that our minds are constantly filled.

Our minds are consumed by the things of God and

things on his heart.

Okay.

It means we're committed to seeing what God intended in

the beginning to also be the end.

So in the beginning we talked about it in.

The Garden of Eden, perfect, perfect relationship between God and men.

That's what God wants to see at the end. And

if our minds are constantly feel and consumed with God,

how do I, I myselflessly get to that place where

my relationship with God is good? But I also want

to bring many more because the modern subjects the larger

the kingdom, right, we want the kingdom to be bigger.

Of course, we want the kingo of God and you

know Heaven to be bigger and not the kingdom of

of Satan. Why we letting why we letting their kingdom

grow growing very rapidly?

You know that.

One also, so much evil in the world, so much

I mean, after you read the news, you're like, what

is going on? How do people even do these things?

Just recently, I mean one of the working adults or

sharing about what happeneding on the campuses recently some of

you may have read the news murder on campus.

You know, all these things going on. But we want

to turn that around, right, we want to.

Change change the course, you know, come on, we want

to make God's kingdom larger and not the kingdom of

the enemy.

Okay, So it means we are no longer thinking just

about what we want to.

Receive as babies is always receiving for us, we can't

do much and help. We're still growing, right, still taking

milk as we grow up, as we mature.

Now, what can I give back? It's not just what

what church can give me?

What can I give to the church? Right, mature sons

and daughters, Princes and princesses. That's what you all are, right,

Prince of the Kingdom, Princess of the Kingdom, of the

king of kings and a lot of lords, the most

high King. What can I do, King, Kings, my king

to advance your kingdom?

You know?

What can I do to bless the church? What can

I do to reach the loss? What can I do

to impact my community? So, if we're committed to seeing

the end, you know my names is that. You know

I want the end at the very end. I'm a

gadon or what people call it, the end of the world.

I want the end to be exactly how it was

in the beginning. Then, and we picture what that looks

like right at the beginning, right man walking with God.

Then we everything that we do, every decision we make,

how we respond to things, all that will be based

off that because we are constantly thinking about that. How

do I return then to how God intended things to

be in the beginning to also be the end and

part of that making that happen. Hey, that's why it's

not just about leading people to Christ. It's about how

we help them to mature and have a close relationship

with God. If not every time we just run a camp,

run a rally, everyone dive out their hands salvation yeay,

quota mad okay done? Lots of salvations, no any pasco

share so many times. That's why God, when God called

him to start a church, is like, oh my goodness,

that's tough, because that's the journey of helping people mature,

challenging people to grow to become sons and daughters, not

just you know, yeah I'm saved, that's it, saved by

a threat. But we want to mature, we want to

keep growing. Amen, we want we want, I mean our hearts,

all of us. The leadership our hearts is for you

to have the closest relationship that you can with your

creator and to leave your full potential in him. Okay,

So we want to help and we want you to

learn how to hear God's voice right and obey comments commandments.

And that's why the whole of last year. We keep

talking about discipleship. Why is this is literally this?

Okay?

This is one of the core values in ex Church.

And that's why we are so big on discipleship. We

want to make disciples. We want to make sons and

daughters who love the Lord and represent God in every

sphere of your influence.

All of you have a sphere of influence.

Right.

Where is in your workplace, in your family, in your

college and your schools. You have a sphere of influence.

What are you influencing?

Are you Kingdom of God, his love, his grace, his peace,

he's joy, his holiness, he's justice.

Are you spreading that in your sphere of influence?

Okay? So that's number one? Just being keep their mind,

being constantly consumed. You know what it means to be

when something is constantly on your mind?

Yeah? I pretty this year?

Right, it will become the kingdom, not my problems, not

my sickness, not my business.

The Kingdom.

How do I see my family saved? How do I

see my friends saved? How do I reach those that

I don't even know? You know, of the shops that

we go to, the restaurants, How do I how do

I make sure that they also experience the fullness of

the kingdom and they also become a son and daughter

of God. Recently, my cousin was was down from overseas.

And these are the cousins that I grew up with,

Like you know, we're basically like siblings.

The whole of our childhood.

We were always at each other's house after school, We

at each other's house, we spend and those days we

can just go out without any Uh, I don't know where.

All the parents weren't around, and we were.

I think we're just with the helper, domestic helper, and

it will go out ourselves to Gianna walk through swimming

pools and Klana jayat a public.

Pool walk there by ourself.

Were schooling age, like primary. Maybe the olders would have

been seeing second really maybe I was the second older.

We just go out, we walk through the park, you know,

everything by ourselves. So anyway, yeah, so these cousins are

very close to me, but there none of them are

believers yet yet, and my heart is always you know,

the burden and eyes for them to come to know

the lot. And so this time when they were back,

we met up for four meals and We're like, God,

give me the opportunity or just give me the bonus

to just share. It's hard, that's right sometimes with family

because you grew up with this, this all your nonsense,

all the all the ugliest or everything you've seen, you know,

all your secrets. But I thank god, you know, we

went for lunchway for crap because my cousin wanted to

eat crap.

for dinners a family and and my aunt was talking

about getting old and we're all talking about everyone's slowly

this cousin for lunch again, asks you know now that

our we were getting older, friends getting older, did you

ever think about life after death? You're like, nah, I

think I just see how it see how it goes.

I said, you know, bye, by the time he's too late.

Because I said I'm very sure what's going to happen

and where I'm going to be.

He got the gist of it. He's like, yeah, I'm sure.

got time on their hands. I'm like, just just go

pray to always be like that.

Everyone we meet. Now we're thinking, Okay, this.

Person doesn't know God. How do I bring the Kingdom

of Heaven to him? How do I get this person

into the Kingdom of Heaven? I pray this you know,

our minds, you know, start thinking like that, like it's

just constantly there consuming us.

Here us the first point consumed filled.

Secondly kingdom mindedness, so apart from advancing and that kingdom mindedness, right,

I believe, is just being so aware of God's kingdom,

of the heavenly realm, of the spiritual.

Realm, that we're not just living in a physical world.

Right, there's the spiritual realm, there's the physical realm. Being

kingdom minamis. You're so aware of the spiritual realm. We're

so aware of God's authority.

We're so aware and convinced that we are the citizens

of that kingdom.

We're not just right yet, Malaysia. We are not just

citizens of the world of earth, but we are citizens

of Heaven. How often do you wake in the morning

and like, I am a son of the most high King,

I am a daughter of the creator of the universe.

I can't do anything. I can do all things through Christ.

But many times you don't recare it.

We recop me like you're thinking all our datelines and

our problems and our sickness. Right, But how often we

wake up and I pray tomorrow and you wake up

my first thing on your mind, which is was kingdom?

Kingdom?

Kingdom minded us? We are citizens of heaven. We have

his power. First week we talk about being spirit filled.

Really right, we have his power, we have his authority,

but we are not exercising it. It takes practice.

One you know, doesn't come overnight, and I'm learning to

practice it. Recently, I've been really my mind has been

consumed with the thought of the same power is that

Why can't I do more?

I want to lay hands on people in their healed,

you know, I want to speak a word and they're

I took hold of that thought. I'm like, body, you

better listen to me now. I've askis training tomorrow and

This has got to go, man.

So I just days myself and I'm like, cough, you

to take hold of this power that the Holy Spirit

I mean the rest of the day. Yeah, I feel

the most High King. This is my kingdom. How much

They were rules right for the game. I don't need

I'm no special kid in the world. And I thought

of that because right, what does God's would say?

We are in the world, but not off the world.

So right if we are like her, Okay, I mean,

of course, not not going against rules, but we don't

need to play by the rules of this world. We

don't need to live by the laws of this world.

What I mean by that not not police laws and

laws of the country and all that, But I mean

is we don't need to do as the world does.

Right, we don't need to.

Accept sickness and addictions and oppression. Also, we're like, I'm special,

I'm daughter of the king. I don't need to I

need to accept this cough like get out right and

my thing. She believed she was the most specially ky

in the world. Right, if you believe it, the most

special of the most highed. We're not bound by the

powers of this world. We live under different law. We

live under God's laws. God's rule.

Right, everyone in your class can be cheating, but you

don't need to. Every one of your friends are swearing

and cursing. You don't need to. Right, Your friends all

have boyfriend's girlfriends.

You don't have to yet yet yet, Right, don't have

to just follow the rest of the world. Your colleagues

are running on the red race, trying to climb the

corporate letter, putting others down.

You don't need to do. You don't have to. You're special.

Oh God, we'll just promote you. Don't worry about it.

People around you are paranoid about sickness, about health. You

don't have to. People are afraid of death. You don't

have to. So you remember my find the next time

Church of Christ, everything they are blessed with as a person,

we don't want to.

Just build our own kingdom and our own brand. This

is not how Extra does things. This is not our value.

It's not just about a brand. We want to be

a blessing to other churches. We want to be generous

because real prosperity is when we are able to share

what God has given us.

like when we have loved subang rallies. Right, So all

say this humbly, but also probably the Extra usually sends

the largest representation. Why because we believe in the larger church.

think they had the doctors really and all that, but

they didn't have the space right or the equipment. And

when Pasta heard about it, found out out about it,

God convicted.

It's hard to just give it. Give our clinic instead

of selling it. Could have sold the clinic.

Right, but he gave it to this other church, not

stop them barrel everything, all equipment there, space given, and

that's it.

That is what it means to be kingdom minded.

If you're not just about ourselves, another church needs it,

we just yeah, that is that's our family leader, that's

our king that is the kingdom we share.

So it's just give.

So now they're running cleaning. If you go to summit

I have so many other things on my mind. Yeah,

I know, I know. Our lives have so much going on.

God's word, take it and meditate on it and internalize it,

and let him transform us, transform our minds, right, renew

our minds, so that our minds slowly shift to really

be thinking about the kingdom, God's reign, God's goodness, his people,

reminder to us.

Seek first?

The kingdom of God and his righteousness. This is what

it means. Right, seek first His Kingdom.

Everything we do, everything we think about, is the kingdom God.

How do you reign in my life? God?

How do you reign in my friend's life, my family life?

And his righteousness? And all these things should be added

to you. So all your worries or your work, businesses,

your studies, all that, don't worry about it, go edit

But I pray that today just our minds of every

person here, our minds would have been expended, expanded to comprehend,

aware of You and our lives, of Your power in

our lives.

And we don't need to struggle on our own.

We don't need to accept this oppression, we don't need

to accept this pain, we don't need to accept this sickness.

All this has to go in the name of Jesus.

Because we are citizens of Heaven.

We have sons and daughters, we have prince and princesses

of the Most High God, the most High King.

So God, I pray to all of us tomorrow and

we wake up, we wake up with that fresh mind.

We see clearly there be such clarity. Lord, I pray

clarity upon our minds. We will not no longer be like,

oh what am I going through? And all these troubles

and worries.

But Lord, we'll have a clear mind. It's able to

just see as you see, and know what you are thinking,

what you think of us. It's all here in your

love letter to us. Let us take it literally believe

it and exercise it. Pray everyone here'll better exercise and muscles,

to just have faith, to just believe, to just speak

to that mountain, to just speak to that sickness, to

speak life and salvation to those we love.
