Today's key text.

Before I talk about the book and all that, can

you just flash up The next slide comes from X

to forty six to forty seven, So let's just read

this together. So continuing daily with one accord in the

temple and breaking bread from house to house, they ate

their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God

and having favor with all the people. And the Lord

added to the church daily those who were saved. And

if you know that passage, this is the first and

early church where revival happened. But X two forty six

and of course forty seven as well, but more forty six,

Uh talks about kingdom minded.

Now why kingdom minded?

If you look at that, the early Church lift out

these values, you know, the radical unity. They're united as one,

a lot of generosity the worses before they talk about

generosity as well. They prioritize community and also Commedian believers

to be more specific, so they have a unified purpose.

I always used to joke that one accord. Uh, they

continued daily in one accord. Honder a chord right, if

there're anything smaller like a civic it's probably not gonna fit.

But anyway, bad joke.

One accord in the temple, which means they are unified

for one purpose.

And what's that purpose?

It's a kingdom mindset, ultimately putting God's mission and community

a both individual or self. I guess self, what's the

word self? Selfish desires is probably the word to use. Okay,

and you can see the next thing they talk abo

house to house breaking bread. Now, house to house right

simply means that they move back. Then they don't have

like a church where we meet together in a space

like this. They move from house to house. Now, what

does actually mean? It reminds us that church is not

a building, just not the venue, but it's every day relational, relational,

family focused activities right to mutually support one another, and

not just that. They also break all the social barriers right,

because if anybody understands this right, moving house to house right,

it's not houses that you already know.

You know, you're moving from strangers house.

To strangers house to strangers house to strangers house every

single day. Anybody uncomfortable with that, I am right? If

you know me, I'm an introvert. But anyway, yeah, why

because they put themselves sorry, they put God first above

themselves even their own comfort zone. So it's shared lives

and that's what the church is for. And the most

important thing gladness and simplicity of heart and some some

transition talk about just the genuineness, right, and this is

the joy, joy that can only be found when you

walk in alignment with God's plan and will. So this

is really a kingdom minded supernatural joy freeing, you know,

moving away from even the things our own problems because

all the time you're thinking, oh, well my problem tomorrow,

the next week, the day before, et cetera. This is

really pure joy and how is it done? This radical

kingdom mindset? Okay, So that's just the overarching versus that

it's going to be covering what we're going to cover today.

to some of these versus later on. Is Matthew six'

ten just in case you do not know what matters

six tends. About that's the part where it's talking about

your kingdom come or will be done as it is in,

heaven sorry on, earth as this is In, heaven and

of Course i'm going to also talk About matthew four

we're covering today is That God's. Kingdom it's not just

merely a. Destination because sometimes we talk about, Kingdom God's,

kingdom we think about heaven a, location like a geographical.

Location but it's beyond.

That if you want to just write a summary of

what we're sharing, today you can just, write it's not a,

location and what it is is about how we live our. Lives,

okay that's a, nutshell that's a big. Idea now let

me just quickly use an. Introduction, oh by the, way

Now when you get a, property, right, then what do you?

Right you want to make it your, own, right nice kitchen,

plants nice.

Uh you know sometimes you might do like, oh go

to extra, ma do the smart home. Thing you, know

you aultimate certain. SWITCHES i mean you can go bunkers and, crazy,

uh solar, panels et, cetera et, cetera because why you

want to make it your your your your what's the

word the user your permanent forever. Home that's the word they,

use the forever. Home right, now what if you've done all,

that you. Build oh, sorry we we we were based In,

Australia so In australia at one, point there's also a

lot of popularity of buying a land and then building

it because then they got a bit more. Land here

it's a little bit uh maybe out of reach for most,

people but it can also. Happen, okay now imagine. This

what if you've done all, That you purchase a, property

you've done your, furnishings and you're even building it from ground,

up and then what if somebody comes to you and

suddenly tells you this land actually belongs to somebody?

Else what?

Happens you'll be, like oh my, gosh actually just everything

right because you were building, right but you're building on

the wrong. Land and this is what that next slight

is supposed to show. You and it has happened, before

by the, way sometimes they are not clearly labeled this

is your or they got the numbers, wrong and then

they continue to just do the groundwork and all.

That and Sometimes christianity is.

A bit like.

That you think you're, building you think you're, living and

your whole lives are spent. Building but perhaps we're building

towards maybe not so much Of god's. Kingdom it maybe,

so but maybe perhaps you're building towards your own or

our own, kingdom and that's the, danger, Right so that

again this is just A i guess a way to

begin this so that you understand Where i'm coming, from

because sometimes we can spend so much of our time

and effort to do something that we think it's, worthwhile

but it's not in accordance To god's. Will or let

me just bring another, example maybe a really little bit

more retailis, ah, okay ever here use ways right, right

or Any google maps people.

HERE i don't know relations we use ways more right.

Now imagine king in a location to pin nine for,

example AND i don't know about. You for, ME i

always just trust the thing, RIGHT i don't even border

processing and. Thinking, now you can have the best, vehicle most,

comfortable best, engine full, tank et, cetera best, company even best,

playlists et, cetera smooth, roads good, tires et.

Cetera but if you actually end up going Towards, jojo

then what Happens?

Salah you're correct, Wrong your destination is totally, wrong and

then everything becomes. Meaningless and that could happen as, well

because sometimes we think whatever technologies and directions and all.

That it's very, clear or it's very clear to us

at that point in. Time but if you're not, careful

we could be building something. Else it's another way to put. It,

we're all. Builders we all build, something, right but are

we building.

Towards the right? Direction or whose are we building? Towards?

Building a kingdom for. Sure now WHAT i mean by?

That you, know you might be building a profile your.

Career some of the things canna see WHEN i it's, okay,

uh you, know running towards you, know or the desires

of uh you, know maybe typically the flesh of where

you're told key by this, time you need to earn

your first, whatever build your first.

House those kind of.

Things, again don't get me, wrong those are good. Things

but maybe perhaps you know it's not What god has

intended it. For and that's why Even jesus in his

very first, sermon it wasn't even saying believe me or

believe in, Me. Jesus it wasn't Even jesus was even,

saying you, know try. Harder you know the exact words

That jesus actually. Used, right and this is the next

verse is gonna flash up that It's matthew four. Seventeen

his first recorded sermon or his preaching would be repent

for The kingdom Of heaven is at. Hand in some,

translation the handman has come. Right So kingdom Of heaven

has come. Right? Interesting right that his first focus or

emphasis is he started off by, saying it's all about the.

Kingdom the kingdom is here, already so maybe that's how

so we should be, aligned, right be focusing on what

This kingdom Of, heaven, uh you, know is at hand

and it should be like all, Right so REMEMBER i

kingdom mind, minded or rather being kingdom minded is making

sure we're heading Towards god's destination and not our own

destination slash, ambition slash, desires et. Cetera, okay simplest way

Problem Many, christians even myself included in the in the early,

days think that being kingdom minded means For, christians, right

as long as you're, safe you're already.

There you're.

Done and the other thing we always or most most

time we think is that once A christian is, safe

you're going to heaven and then that's. It it's LIKE i,

said it's a destination kind of a. Thing but a

lot Of christians do not focus on living for the.

Kingdom that, Means, OKAY i got my ticket, In i'm

waiting for the day THAT i go to The kingdom Or.

Heaven that's. It in between that just waiting. Koyangkaki but

that's a huge. Difference, okay there's a huge difference. Obviously

so point number, one it's gonna be a very short message, today,

Right kingdom minded. People, yeah my wife always, Says i'm

very long with. It, ANYWAY i, TRY i, TRY i. Try,

Okay kingdom minded people understand that salvation is just the beginning,

jahataya not the, destination not a.

Destination.

Okay, now some of the scriptures That i've already shared

Of heaven is at hand right or has come near right.

and sit be fruitful and increase in number field the

earth and subdue it rule over the fish in the

sea and the birds in the, sky and over every

us being the having the right to become children Of

LIKE i, said WHEN i first began or first became A,

christian ALTHOUGH i was born into A christian. FAMILY i

always thought That christianity is very, simple get, safe go to,

church try not to sit too, much and then go

To heaven. Done everybody as simplistic as. Me, again engineer, process,

process process, driven, Right and and because of, that sometimes

we think that getting salvation or bringing somebody to the

salvation point is all we have to, do because that

is a finish line, already, RIGHT i mean perception, no,

of us think that it's his. Destination we think we're,

done we enters right. Now uh go to THE us

This we went to travel To, california and imagine.

This we bought tickets To. Disneyland, okay you travel all the.

WAY i think more than twenty hours of like maybe

twenty four hours plus trans and all. That you stand

before the entrance Of, disneyland the gates, open you step,

inside turn, around and go. HOME i, mean people will

come to you and, say, bro or, yo what are you?

Doing?

Right then YOU i might SAY i got in with,

RIGHT i stepped. In then they would say you. Met

that's not the, point, Right that's not What but that's

exactly what Many christians. Think they stop at the entrance

of heaven thinking that salvation is the interest to heaven

and that's.

It they turn around and then they just do the

only thing waiting for you know. Whatever. Right so What

i'm trying to.

Say is that our reminders to, Say god didn't just

say if you just to, enter, Right god saved us

because you have a purpose for us beyond just. Entering,

actually a restoration. Process it restores what was broken when

sin came in to allow us to come back To god's.

become sons and daughters Of christ after, salvation uh is?

There we need to carry on the farthest, business. Right

you inherit the business because just because you are a

you carry on the legacy of the. Business and if

you are sons and daughters Of, christ you do the

and then you have dominion over the. Earth, Okay now

although that's. Nice he was born to represent their. Kingdom

but of course this is the man's, kingdom the kingdom

of The United. Kingdom, YEAH i don't know where that came,

from but you get you got you get it. Right

he is he was born to represent The United. Kingdom

that's one. Kingdom so the prince doesn't exist to enjoy the.

Palace it's not just ah, yeah not just for him to,

use you, know just to. Enjoy he is born to

represent the. Kingdom so, likewise when we are born, again,

right we are born Into god's. Kingdom you're not just

here to enjoy, heaven, right but we represent. Heaven, now

what does it mean for? Application what does it mean to?

Us christianity is not just something you, Receive it's What

i'm trying to. Say or is it something that you

receive and that's? It, no, RIGHT i don't think this.

Thing it's more than. That it's also not something that

you just, become but it is the beginning of what

you are to. Do. Right so this transitions to the

minded people become, mature mature sons and. Daughters and here's

the kicker who bring heaven to. Earth what's this bring

heaven to?

Earth? Now versus that is tied to.

This let's just turn To matthew six's ten or come

to that and. Involved But matthew six right talks about

The lord's. Prayer, right remember that you know a father in. Heaven,

hello BIT i name your kingdom, Come you will be

done on earth as it is in. Heaven the, part

the last part there is verse, ten Your kingdom, come

your will be done on earth as it is in.

Heaven and Then matthew twenty eight talks about you, know

therefore make disciples of all.

Nations that's the great commission for you to make. Disciples.

Right so these two are going to be the things

that going to be focused. On but here's the. Thing

When jesus.

Taught us to pray using The lord's, prayer we it

is he didn't teach us to, SAY i don't know

to rephrase, this take us to your kingdom or take

us to? Heaven, Right but it says your kingdom. Come all,

right there's a directional. Thing, okay you look at the kingdom.

Coming it is kingdom coming here on, earth Not father why,

heaven you, know bring us to your. Kingdom have you

realized that it's one? Direction is that is that man? Anyway,

yeah not going?

There, Okay so his kingdom coming here is what we

are called to. Do heaven On earth and initial. Days.

Right WHEN i talk About heaven On, earth, RIGHT i

always think about it's like, transporting like Moving heaven To.

Earth but what, engineer wouldn't that be Displacing earth because

a matter or a geographical location coming to another geographical.

Location how does that work?

Out, yeah there's the side process things, Anyway it's, yeah

wouldn't it Displace?

Earth? Normal So heaven isn't just.

A destination or a, location OR i would wouldn't say

it's not just merely a future. Destination heaven or kingdom

is Actually god's, rule, Right AND i think you've covered

this in several years ago we talked About god's. Kingdom

it's Actually god's rule on. Earth what Is god's? Rule

god's love is, Righteous so his kingdom represent all this, love, righteousness, holiness.

JUSTICE i Mean i've got something the next light as.

WELL i mean this additional, stuff but you get the.

Idea so this is what it. Means by Bringing heaven

or The kingdom here on, earth you Bring god's, love, justice, mercy,

holiness et, cetera et, cetera et.

Cetera here on. Earth, now before you think it's all,

crazy this How jesus did it.

Right Remember jesus everywhere he, went kingdom went with, him,

right the sick word, healed, right broken people were, restored,

Right forgiveness was, released and hope has also returned wherever he.

Went so that is the kingdom Or god's rule coming

to earth through the proxies The.

Christians.

Right so this is where discipleship fits in if you

don't really catch, that, right and and and. Past The

kennist when he was putting this together as, well he

also said. This another word for sons and, daughters he,

said is. Disciples and if you go back to the

next the previous LIGHT i had. This, right when you're,

safe you become, children and you mature to become mature

sons and, daughters and then you represent the. Father right

when your mature sons and, daughters you're actually. Disciples, Right

so again a parallel will be. Salvation there's discipleship as you're,

mature then you earn or you become sonship doctorship up to, you,

okay and then there's impact because you start representing The.

Father so there are parallels to what this. Is so,

again just in case you are not, aware with covered

entire year of. Discipleship discipleship, again it's not just A bible.

Study it's not even becoming a kind. Person some people

think that you, know, kindness, goodness all those are expressions of,

it but it's not just. That, essentially what it is

is that you're Representing heaven wherever you. Go you're bringing

all those things That i've mentioned here and again it's

not just also just leading people To.

Christ that is, salvation but there's more than. Salvation so

you have to.

Mature you also have to make, disciples or make sons

and daughters who will then Represent god and then you, know,

uh you, Know kingdom impact happens here on.

Earth are, okay so, FAR i promise. You i'm nearly

a day and. Already. Okay, now have anybody been overseas?

Before you lost a pastors? Before?

Right, okay what happens when you lose your passport? Overseas? Embassy? Right,

huh you're? Panic, yes your, panic call your.

Husband but, anyway you, know in the embassy usually sometimes

they have this ambassador's, right what does ambassador do they?

Represent? Oh, wow represent do they?

Do?

They are They?

MALAYSIA i mean are they whatever their names? Are, no

they represent the. Nation they speak on behalf of. Nations

so sometimes as some you, know some crisis or, whatever

and if there's any, uh you, KNOW i guess, disagreements

they will look at the, ambassy, ambassador and ambassadors speaks

for the. Nation so ambassadors have been very careful what

they say because it can be representation because you speak

on behalf of the. Nation so when people see, him

whoever that person is or, her, uh they see the

value of the country that he.

Or she the ambassador.

Represents, likewise right at, work and people find out you

are a, believer A, christian a, son a daughter Of,

christ a, disciple what do they? See what do you

represent at, school in your, businesses in your. Neighborhood because

we are meant to be. Ambassadors so we are meant

to actually be Representing, heaven The kingdom up there here

wherever we. Go why, again not for our own selfish,

desires not for us to show or you know. Whatever

it's really so that people will Experience God's kingdom true

us here on. Earth and this is what, ambassadors Right

they want them to experience where they're from in the

foreign land that they're. In and earth is a foreign,

land temporary, land, Right so how does it apply to us?

Application ask yourself tomorrow when you go back to your,

schools your, colleges your, universities your.

Offices Does heaven walk in with you to the places

that you go? To are you really bringing the kingdom with?

You what does it look?

Like and that's what we need to we ought to, remember,

right final POINT i told you it is very short.

Message kingdom minded people don't just carry the kingdom, mindset

but they build the. Kingdom and the more specific they

Built god's kingdom and not their own. Kingdom and this

is WHERE i began earlier to remind. Us, uh you

know how we're supposed to be. Aligned Now i'll pick

Thoughts, hey it's meant to be, abstract by the, Way,

yeah but one of the, things, right most people would

try to align with that because it looks like modern

and futuristic and advancements and all that kind of. Thing

unless you are the type THAT i want to live

in a farm growing up and all, that, Right but

you know a lot of things that are maybe not

where man brings you or leads you towards might be

something like that and next. Life one of the things

that we have to understand is that when we build our,

kingdom our own, kingdom my, kingdom we often focus on these,

things our, success our, comforts, Right and it's WHY i

sometimes Say i'm going to do this, uncomfortable you, know

beyond my, scope beyond my. Expertise sometimes it might be

also to do with what people perceive of, yourself you,

know by. Recognition even though church right can be great

to say the term that uses my church acts or

one point thirty or whatever it, is you are the

call my. Church but when you Build god's, kingdom, right

it is a different. Perspective, right it's for his, Glory god's,

glory his, mission the bigger, mission his, kingdom his, church

even which means, right even if you are will always

belong to local, church, right it is not just our,

church it Is his church at.

Large.

Right sometimes we often, say, oh that church is, whatever, whatever, Whatever,

no let's build that church because that's his kingdom kingdom.

Mindset.

Right so the difference that's just from a church, perspective

if it's church, minded how CAN i grow our, church our,

service our. People we often do, that, right how CAN

i focus on things of interest of this service or this?

Church but a kingdom minded person would, say how can

we Grow god's kingdom now at? Large how can this

church be a part of the bigger?

Picture right church?

Minded, again local church minded protects our. Resources don't send out?

Lie and why why why Send joel? Out you, know

as though we do not need you, know why Send

julian's you, know struggling AND i mean physically now because

you can talk to her, later but we still want

to send her? Out, right send? Now because we're thinking

about the kingdom shared, resources not our own. Resources right

church minded people will build their, brand but kingdom minded

people will build people at. Large so that's why it's

very important for us to. Align make sure even when

we're doing good things within the local, church you need

to understand that it's not just about my, kingdom my,

church my, workplace but what is it like Under god's

perspective and his Kingdom.

Matt two, ten five to.

Eight this Is jesus sending out his Twelve okay that

the twelve, disciples, right and he says it as you,

go as you get sent, out proclaim this. Message The

kingdom Of heaven again has come. Near. Right he'll the,

sake raise the, dead, clemings those who have, leprosy drive

the drive out, demons and then, says, here freely you have,

received freely you. Give so every time we think about

protecting our own resources and all, that let's come.

Church why because we recognize that we're not just building

a locaty Building god's bigger. Church so, so and that's

WHY i always going, strong because we want to ensure,

that you, know we do our. Part we were kingdom

minded and and, yeah SO i encourage. You sometimes it's

very hard to align ourselves outside of what we. SEE

i said this is so you're you, Know, postle you know.
