  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your.

  3. Day and turn with me into Matthew chapter twenty five.

  4. This is basically a three part series that I just

  5. started beginning in some of the plants. I don't know

  6. how many times I'll be still inclinected that I will

  7. try to continue at leasta or at least I give

  8. you guys some guide and handles if you don't manage

  9. to hear it or next on your own. When you

  10. read it, you kind of have a guide on how

  11. to also read the rest of the passage as well.

  12. So if you turn to Matthew chapter twenty five, you

  13. just have a We'll start off by just having an overview. Okay,

  14. you can see there are three subtitles there. Okay, what's

  15. the first title in chapter twenty five? It's called the

  16. Parable of the ten Versins, isn't it? And the next

  17. what do you see? The Parable of the Talents? And

  18. then the third one what is it called the Final Judgment?

  19. So all these three actually is part of my three

  20. part series, each what they call it studying and also

  21. putting on these three sections. And you know why the

  22. series because I believe that all of them are actually connected,

  23. and actually each of them have their keys to unlocking

  24. one another.

  25. And all these three.

  26. Keys, when you interpret it properly and you understand the

  27. meaning and how it applies to us today, you will

  28. be able to understand this whole chapter and the entire message. Well,

  29. three keys, but connected to one big door, one big

  30. door as well. So how many of you are familiar

  31. with the parable of the ten versions?

  32. Yeah? How many? If you like the parable, if you

  33. go out of the parable.

  34. When I was young, when I read this parable, it

  35. scared me, even he really scared me, you know, I

  36. was like, oh no, you know, basically the gist of

  37. the story before we literally is basically there were ten virgins,

  38. five or foolish five were vis and then the five, uh,

  39. the foolish ones didn't make it basically okay. So when

  40. I read it, I was like, man, am I the

  41. wise one? Am I the foolish one? And sometimes you

  42. don't know until you get to the end, isn't it?

  43. You know, it's so scary. So I started so like,

  44. man am I am I doing the right thing? Does

  45. it mean that you know? Being safe is not enough?

  46. You know? How do I.

  47. Gather enough faith and wisdom so that I make it

  48. to the you know, to the end, to the end

  49. of the race as well. So I had a lot

  50. of fear when I was, you know, earlier in my stage,

  51. not understanding what it all means.

  52. Not just not understanding, but what should I do? Now?

  53. You know what I'm saying.

  54. Now, that's the thing, knowingly something, But is there something

  55. I can respond to? How can I do as you know,

  56. as a believer, as a as a husband, as a father,

  57. as a churchgoer, as a minister, in every aspect?

  58. What must I do as well? Now?

  59. The first thing that I maybe, okay, let's what we

  60. do is that let's read the verses first. Then I

  61. will expand a bit more. Matthew, Chapter twenty five, Verse one.

  62. Now it says here this is my I think it's

  63. ESV version. He says, here, then the kingdom of Heaven

  64. will be like ten virgins who took their lambs and

  65. went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish

  66. and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lambs,

  67. they took no oil with them, but the wines took

  68. flasks of oil with their lamps, as the bridegroom must delay.

  69. They all became drowsy and slept. But at midnight there

  70. was a cry, here is the bridegroom, come out to

  71. meet him. Then all those virgins rose and trim their lambs.

  72. And the foolish said to the wise, give us some

  73. of your oil, for our lamps are going out. But

  74. the wise answered, saying, since there will not be enough

  75. for us and for you, go rather to the dealers

  76. and buy for yourselves, or to the markets.

  77. Okay.

  78. And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came,

  79. and those who already went in with him to the

  80. marriage fast, and the door was shut. Afterwards, the other

  81. virgins came, also, saying, Lord, Lord opened to us. But

  82. he answered, truly, I say to you, I do not

  83. know you watch therefore, for you know neither the day

  84. nor the our Wow. Like I said, very sobering, I

  85. read this one. It's like how to preach this so

  86. like that thing coming dorown. Okay, Now, first thing, first,

  87. I think we need to estab in some context, because

  88. if we don't, a lot of times we can take

  89. this out of context. It can it can be, it

  90. can be applied to anything in our lives. We so

  91. oh am I wife and foolish. A bit of context

  92. as well. First of all, we understand like where and

  93. no when Jesus was giving this message, and also the

  94. context of why he was giving this message as well

  95. why it's very very important now we know from.

  96. The chronicles here.

  97. Basically Jesus was giving this final teaching as part of

  98. his what we call the Oliver discourse. Why it's called

  99. Oliver because he was preaching on the Mount of Olives,

  100. a very famous mountain hill, okay mountain called Amount of Olives,

  101. and he was preaching it during the final week before

  102. he was about to be crucified, he final way, And

  103. because it was his final way, Jesus had a sort

  104. of different tone and message to his preaching.

  105. He wasn't just telling.

  106. People a very introductory Hey, you know, I am the

  107. bread of life, you know?

  108. No, no, no.

  109. He was gathered with some of his most consistent follow us,

  110. those who will with him for some while, and the

  111. tone and the message and the objective of his message

  112. at that time was to prepare them towards the last preparation.

  113. It's like your final exam, before your final exam. I'm

  114. going to tell you where to study. You focus on

  115. this chapter. You look at this chapter, you cannot cover everything.

  116. You've got to focus on this chapter. You've gotta do

  117. this and do that. This is going to come out

  118. in the final exam. How many of you need it? Yeah,

  119. some of you survive on that. You know, you didn't

  120. study the whole year. You survive on teachers tips when

  121. some of you go to tuition class just to find

  122. that teacher who knows all the tips. Ah, you know,

  123. got all the SPM I, G C s E tips

  124. on this one show come out an exam. You pay

  125. good money for it as well. Okay, I'm not saying

  126. Jesus is giving you A G, S E. Tips, but

  127. he is preparing them.

  128. Okay.

  129. And so if you look at some of the chapters

  130. before that, at twenty four and then twenty three, you

  131. will see a pattern. Okay, twenty three it talks about

  132. what Jesus and not talking about the seven Woes or

  133. basically basically he is like judging them and not proclaiming

  134. a judgment against them is not just suddenly out of

  135. nowhere now, but after so many incidents, and they are

  136. consistent response Jesus pronounces a war against them.

  137. Getmen right.

  138. They are constant denial, constant and objection and heart hardenedness.

  139. Jesus pronounces a war of them.

  140. After so long and so many things you have seen,

  141. and you still harden your hearts, and you still want

  142. to kill me, and my word has nothing in your place,

  143. and not so after so many things, and Jesus proclaims

  144. also a judgment lamentation over Israel. And then in verse

  145. chapter twenty four, Jesus talks about the destruction of the

  146. temple and the sign of age and of ages and

  147. the abominal abomination of desolation, the coming of the Son

  148. of Man, and on not knowing the hour. It's all

  149. about the end times. Okay, So when you read this

  150. and then Jesus after at the end of it, he

  151. talks about the ten foolish visions. He talks about the

  152. pable of the talents. You know said why this sequence?

  153. You know?

  154. You not because Jesus is preparing his disciples. Okay, So

  155. when you think about Jesus, he reminds us of one

  156. very important Old Testament character. When we go through this

  157. season talking about the end times and preparation, who's the

  158. first Old Testament profit that comes into Armaia.

  159. Who's Isaiah? Okay? Who else? Jeremiah? Who else? Right? Elijah?

  160. Can I propose someone?

  161. I believe my personally believe that the person that very

  162. closely mimixed to this is actually Moses.

  163. Moses.

  164. Okay, it's actually very much like Moses. Okay, What was

  165. Moses going through at that time? While in Egypt? What

  166. is similar to uds the end Times signed pain? You

  167. know all the templates, isn't it? And then not only there,

  168. Jesus talks about what they'll be false Christ and false

  169. prophets in Egypt?

  170. How many?

  171. How many were their false prophets? There are false gods everywhere.

  172. The gods are like thousands of gods, you know, thousands,

  173. you know, God of easies, God of you know. Another

  174. is that the cow, the fly everyone? Actually, do you

  175. know that the templates was systematically taking down every Egyptian

  176. major Egyptian gods got the flies, God or the plantation,

  177. got the river, or the frogs, and every one of them.

  178. If you go study actually what every one of them

  179. was taking down every major god in Egypt that they

  180. were worshiping, including Pharaoh himself, which is the son of

  181. God and then the sun is well a mona as well.

  182. And then lastly the firstborn, which is the most important one,

  183. isn't it Pharaoh himself?

  184. So the last one was the first one, the.

  185. Death of the firstborn systematically, one by one, one by one,

  186. and Jesus talks about in this current day it will

  187. be similar to Egypt, but in a different form as well.

  188. There will be many people who will claim many versions

  189. of God. I am the Christ. Follow me, I am

  190. the Christ. I know the prophecy. Know with all this,

  191. we've got going to go anywhere you got online? Now,

  192. how many people have profits? You know, so called profits?

  193. You know some people were prophesying some day. You know,

  194. Jesus is gonna compack everybody had they had to watch time,

  195. you know, a watch hour on YouTube. Even happened, they're not,

  196. oh okay, we changed it again. So I was like, ooh, interesting.

  197. You know, there are so many of them, okay. And

  198. so if you look at it, it's very similar to

  199. what Moses is saying as well. And I tell you

  200. a bit more as well. Okay, as Moses was after

  201. the final just at the final plague, right, what was

  202. the instruction that Moses was received from God to protect

  203. the Israelites from the death of the first point, What

  204. was the instruction to take a young goat to kill,

  205. to take the blood and apply on the door post

  206. as well. Now it's just when you apply, everything's okay.

  207. What were the specific instruction You must stay inside the house.

  208. But if you do not stay inside the house, and

  209. if anything happens to you, even though you are at Israelite,

  210. even though after you have seen the nine miraculous who

  211. wonders of God? If you stay outside the door, whatever

  212. happens to you is on your own head. You come saying,

  213. you know, Jesus can provide everything. God can provide the covering,

  214. But it's your job and our responsibility to stay inside

  215. the covering. You I'm saying, no, there's nothing wrong with

  216. the covering. The covering is effective, it's completely effective. But

  217. it's our response to stay inside the covering. You I'm

  218. saying no. But not only is to stay inside the covering,

  219. but to eat it. What what do they do? They

  220. eat a day and then they chill have red one.

  221. What were they supposed to do? They were supposed to

  222. wear their cloak and the tunic girded with first stuff

  223. on your hand, sandals on your feet, ready to go.

  224. You must eat with readiness.

  225. You know what I'm saying now, So when you think

  226. about all this, right, what is Jesus telling them? Applying

  227. to here, he said all these things is gonna happen.

  228. I'm going to provide with the covering as well. But

  229. I'm going to tell you there's going a time of

  230. time that the believers need to eat, not just resting.

  231. They need to be ready. And if you are not ready,

  232. you are becoming foolish. That is why Jesus is talking

  233. about ten foolish versus you.

  234. Co'm saying you, no, he's not.

  235. He's telling you all these things are gonna happen. But

  236. for believe this what has happening on the world. But

  237. for believers, those chosen by God. You've been saying, by God,

  238. you cannot be foolish. You co'm saying or not, you

  239. cannot be foolish. The Israelites cannot be foolish. You cannot

  240. step outside the house. You must be inside the house.

  241. But while you're inside, you must be ready. So there

  242. are many kinds of foolishness that will happen in the

  243. end and the end times.

  244. For believers, not for numberly for believers and all.

  245. There are many foolishness that will take place, people who

  246. will step outside their covering, people who are not ready

  247. in the covering. You, I'm saying you not. That is

  248. why he's talking about. He talks about the ten. Then,

  249. then Jesus talks about the ten foolish virgins, talk about terrible,

  250. the talents, good enough, whether you're good, and evil servants.

  251. Then Jesus talks about the final judgment after you pass

  252. all through through this. Then Jesus said that where are

  253. the ships and where are the cootes as well?

  254. There will be a final separation. So there is why.

  255. This is the context of what why why this parable

  256. is inserted here?

  257. You know what I'm saying.

  258. No, So if you understand this in this when you

  259. read it again, why is this message? Why is this

  260. message being pretched? Jesus is preparing them to be wise

  261. in the end times for us, you know, and we

  262. need to be very very wise everybody.

  263. Okay, so far does it make a lot of sense? Okay,

  264. So now.

  265. Let's talk about the wedding, okay, uh, And then after

  266. that I'm gonna talk just very briefly about the wedding,

  267. and then I'm gonna, uh what they call it, give

  268. you guys three key important points, three very very important

  269. points they want you guys to remember from this whole

  270. entire message as well. Okay, so we know that there

  271. was a wedding, Okay, but this is not actual wedding.

  272. This is a parable. Why it is a parable? Why

  273. did Jesus teach in parables? Why it's parables? Terribles? Are

  274. kingdom principles for earthly use heavenly principles or Kingdom heavenly

  275. principles for earthly use. I'm saying, now, where did Jesus

  276. come from?

  277. Heaven?

  278. Came from heaven, but he is ministering to earth to

  279. ask as well. It is a kingdom principle. You cannot see.

  280. If I tell you you've never been to France, and I say, ah,

  281. I've been to France, I may cross on or I

  282. may as cargo.

  283. I don't know how to spell proper cago, and I

  284. have to show you a version.

  285. Maybe I show you a fusion of things like that.

  286. Some of the materials you don't even happen as well,

  287. So to translate what you cannot see. But it's heavenly true,

  288. I give you a parable. Yeah, I'm saying no, it's

  289. a heavenly principle for earthly use. Okay, that's what we say.

  290. So that's why Jesus uses a terrible So the parable

  291. is always something to do with what we daily leave in.

  292. So this is the parable of the wedding. You know,

  293. you're not using a wedding to understand. No, most of

  294. the time when we have weddings in Malaysia, what time

  295. do we do?

  296. Mean?

  297. Start during the daytime? Okay, send me the morning could

  298. be afternoon. People some people to after the afternoon money,

  299. but most of the time it's in the daytime, crying

  300. up morning after the then some people will have you know,

  301. the groomsman, the party, drive the car, drive it to

  302. the the bride's place, you know, and then they have

  303. their ceremony. But for the Jews, what time do they start?

  304. Anybody have any idea? They start at seven o'clock and

  305. pm at night. They start at night when that's why

  306. they have purchases because when the sun sets down, they

  307. start by having the brides and our partier. The brides

  308. will be in the house, but there will be a

  309. bride reception okay. What they call it a brides maid reception,

  310. which is the ten burgeons are okay and they will

  311. received because they said nine to shoot and must understanding

  312. the time I got no l ed that okay?

  313. If that one on.

  314. So if it's dark, what does it mean when it's dark?

  315. It means that when I'm walking night and there's no like,

  316. I cannot see who you are. Literally, you know you

  317. put a you put a jump point. I really cannot

  318. see who you are. It's that dark one. You know,

  319. you must understand. Hey, I know because when I went

  320. to missions and went to uh Indonesia before and when

  321. I woke up, I really need to catch and you

  322. really to bring out a light. My handphone cannot cannot

  323. show up. If I was in the middle of the aplantation,

  324. I cannot see, you know. So I was like, good,

  325. who chance is that you? Someone here is dark color?

  326. Someone can see him?

  327. Like is that you? No?

  328. No, I really cannot see you know, I joke, You're

  329. like you see you really cannot see you really you

  330. cannot see.

  331. It's so dark. And sometimes because it's so pre you're scared.

  332. You know that who is that? You know? You don't know?

  333. So you really need a torch one, and no, you

  334. really need a talk okay. And there's some of the guns.

  335. They have weapons as well. And because you cannot see

  336. sometimes when things happen, there are no witnesses one and all,

  337. you don't say what I'm saying, not really no idea

  338. what so really need a torch so they will have

  339. a brighter party. There will actually stand outside ten or

  340. ten or them, and then they will pay their lamps. No,

  341. it's not a lamba, not the Aladdin lamber, not the

  342. one at night you celebrate Harry Raya and then you

  343. light up this one can know work one. It's basically

  344. it's more likened like a torch, like a stick.

  345. Okay.

  346. At the end they're wrapped like a cloth. Then they

  347. dip it, okay, and then they light it up. Now

  348. one dieping can last how long roughly, you guys know,

  349. around fifteen to twenty minutes like that plus minors like

  350. that you give me, depending how big it is, around

  351. fifteen to twenty minutes. So because normally around seven o'clock

  352. is you know, it's quite dark ready they did. They

  353. don't expect to wait very long. One from seven o'clock.

  354. Their way until seven thirteen max. Because nobody in their

  355. minds eat dinner after nine, ten, eleven, twelve o'clock one,

  356. you know what I'm saying. No, nobody in the right

  357. man will do that one, okay. But it says, yeah,

  358. what time did the bridgroom came? No? Verse six, it says,

  359. but at midnight there was a cry, not seven, not eight,

  360. not nine, but twelve o'clock, so late, you know, so late,

  361. you know, so nobody in their mind because they didn't

  362. bring because they think that, oh, well, celebrate waiting. Something

  363. must have happened, now, you know what I mean? Right,

  364. this is just normal. They're probably I will think we're

  365. cancel ready that twelve o'clock, you know, so late. But

  366. this is what actually happened, okay. And so it says that,

  367. and then when but one thing we noticed is that

  368. they all fell asleep? So is it wrong to fall asleep?

  369. It didn't say five for them, man, He said all

  370. of them fell asleep? Is it wrong to fall asleep?

  371. The truth is all of us fall asleep, all of us.

  372. Of course, we are all human beings. There's the truth.

  373. God knows as well we are all human beings. But

  374. there's a difference in how you fall sleep. You know,

  375. you know what I'm saying now? How many of you

  376. like to pee? We like to go to sleep before

  377. you still knowing that you still got something to left

  378. in your pe one P tank wed It's like the

  379. most It's the worst feeling ever want you know, It's

  380. like you lie down on your bed ready, Oh, I'm

  381. so tired, ready, but something is missing. There's still something

  382. in the tank there. You know it's not just as

  383. the tank you not at the exhaust ready? You know

  384. you're like, oh, is that feeling like?

  385. You know?

  386. You cannot have a proper ten ou or ten sleep?

  387. You know you get what I'm saying, No matter how

  388. tired and how cozy, how nice that ekonna, I don't

  389. know how some of you you just sleep through one?

  390. Is it?

  391. You don't care? I don't care. I'm going to sleep

  392. even though I'm like, you know, got ready? You know

  393. you know I'm tired, Ready, I still step? How many

  394. of you are like that?

  395. Or you will go to a toilet? You would? Oh?

  396. I learned from you and how to do with the

  397. mental tough. I don't know how to do it. I

  398. try before, but I cannot. You know at the quality

  399. or there so you're like, oh, I'm so tired. But

  400. then you're like, okay, I'm gonna go and pee.

  401. Ready.

  402. There after I come, ah, finally I can let go

  403. and finally sleep ready.

  404. So what does it mean? There is a kind of sleep, okay,

  405. that you sleep with.

  406. Perfect peace because you because you have studied, you have prepared,

  407. You are ready. Your bag is ready, your shirt, everything

  408. is ready, eye and ready. You are ready to go

  409. to work in five ten minutes, ready to go. But

  410. there's another kind of sleep. You sleep with a false

  411. sense of security. You think you studied, but you are

  412. not studied. You think you are ready, but you are

  413. not ready. You know how I'm saying no, and you

  414. only discover that you are not ready the next morning.

  415. Oh no, how come? Where's my shirt? Where is my water?

  416. Where is my phone? I'm of you, like you know

  417. what I'm talking about? Too close for comfort me some

  418. of your experience this morning, darling wets my water. You

  419. know that's why I used to I don't know. I

  420. always put at the same place. You never do it,

  421. Oh you know, I never I am my shirt. I

  422. told my wife I am my shirt. Nowadays I know

  423. I tell my wife, can you please I am my

  424. shirt for the next day? Now, can you say there's

  425. the one thing I like from her line? No extra

  426. service lineer, I'm my extra service guy one. I don't

  427. answer the iron all but when I ap preach, can

  428. you help me?

  429. Iron? Oh, they're very nice. I know, I like you

  430. very much, you know.

  431. So Oh then I before I stay, Oh, I saw

  432. my shirt hanging on you know, I feel very happy on.

  433. So it's it's like that, you you some of us

  434. we sleep with a full sense of security, thinking we

  435. are prepared, but we are not. And in the end

  436. of the days we'll be like that as well. Many

  437. of us will sleep. Okay, what does sleep actually mean?

  438. Sleep means that we just go to the routine we

  439. go with the world in the world with the floor,

  440. thinking we are safe, thinking we are okay, thinking we

  441. are you know, our lives, you know, issuring to what

  442. cod intentder for us to leave? But we are not.

  443. You know what I'm saying. No, there is that very

  444. high possibility that it happens. Now on to the three

  445. points that I want to talk about as well. So

  446. when it started out at seven o'clock the wedding all

  447. of them had their lamps burning, isn't it all of anyone?

  448. Then look foolish.

  449. No, At seven o'clock, everybody looks beautiful, everybody looks wise.

  450. Everybody looks like they are the best version of anything

  451. can be. It's I don't want to seven o'clock good.

  452. But after falls day, when they wake up, then you

  453. can tell who are the ones that you can't even

  454. see them. They are not ready or you don't even

  455. know who they are. You can't recognize them, you don't

  456. even ready, and they're not even there because they ran

  457. away to buy things as well.

  458. You get I'm saying.

  459. Now, at seven o'clock, everybody looks fine, everybody looks wise.

  460. Sometimes when we start off, everybody comes to church, it

  461. looks perfect, looks like everybody's listening to my message. You know,

  462. everybody's on fire. That looks like everybody is doing the things.

  463. But it's always until who sustains, until the very end

  464. of the day that you see they begin to see

  465. the separation. Now, what is the first point? What is

  466. the first thing that we can learn? Okay, we learned here,

  467. it says uh in verse eight, he says here, and

  468. the foolish said to the wise, give us some of

  469. your oil for our lambs are going out. But the

  470. Wise answered saying, since there will not be enough for

  471. us and for you, go rather to the dealers and

  472. buy for yourselves. Now, the first thing is this, okay,

  473. very very important. You cannot borrow another oil. You cannot

  474. borrow oil. Okay, you cannot borrow another other people's oil.

  475. It's a very very important thing.

  476. You cannot. There's a few reasons for it. Okay.

  477. First of all, you must understand what is that oil?

  478. What does the oil represent? Before I talk about anything else.

  479. Why that's the oil represent? Is it just because I

  480. said I'm a Christian? Is it because I just say

  481. I'm I come to church?

  482. What is that oil?

  483. Is it just because saying yes, I see you got

  484. I'm saying no, that's why I go back to Moses.

  485. Just because you have Moses. Just because the Israelites have

  486. Moses doesn't mean they're enough. Just because Moses gave the instruction,

  487. was it enough?

  488. You know what I'm saying.

  489. Now, you must stay inside the house to be safe.

  490. Your wisdom saves you. God provides the covering, but your

  491. wisdom and your heart will keep you inside that house.

  492. You keep God's work in your heart, you never part

  493. from it.

  494. That's how you get me, and that's how you keep

  495. yourself under the covering of the blood. You know, you

  496. mean you want to be washed up, but you don't

  497. stay inside. You are staying inside the blood of Christ.

  498. You can't saying no. The blood is fully effective, Okay,

  499. fully effect, perfectly effective.

  500. Okay, this is very important. But we cannot borrow what what?

  501. So?

  502. What does what does they all represent?

  503. But Jesus says in Matthew seventeen, Hey, let me say

  504. in Matthew, I think it's Matthew seventh, Matthew, Matthew seven, Sorry,

  505. Matthew seven twenty one. He says, not everyone who says

  506. to me, Lord Lord, shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

  507. We all heard this before.

  508. Doesn't mean you call me. It means that you will

  509. enter the Kingdom of heaven. But what is the requirement?

  510. If it's not the name, what is the requirement? But

  511. he who does the will of my Father you can

  512. I'm saying no, So what keeps you inside?

  513. The covering? Is it? I know, Moses? Is it?

  514. Because I know Jesus? But Jesus says, not everyone who

  515. calls will be inside. So what do you do to

  516. stay inside the covering? He who does.

  517. The will of my father. It's not what you say,

  518. but what you do.

  519. It's not just the I'm not talking about just squeezing

  520. out the works and not but the natural fruit that

  521. is producing you. I don't need to force a Durian

  522. to squeez out Durian. No, no, no, The Durian will always

  523. produce a Durian. An orange tree will always produce an

  524. orange tree. If you are a Duran tree, produce a Durian.

  525. Don't be anything else. Ready, I'm saying, not just produce

  526. your fruit, but he who does the will of my father.

  527. I don't care you tell me you are a Duran tree,

  528. show me you're Durian. I might not recognize. If I

  529. show you Durrant, you will you recognize. Some of you

  530. you might not know right, but if you see the hey,

  531. there's a Duran tree, you know by its fruits makes

  532. sense or not, it completely makes sense to it. So

  533. sometimes we might not have the best geology understanding. But no,

  534. we just continue leaving by the power of the Holy Spirit,

  535. living in the calling, and we naturally by the nature

  536. that God has changed.

  537. We produce that.

  538. Fruit that God is intended for us. It's not you

  539. telling me not. I don't read the label that says Dudentry.

  540. I read the tree by the fruit that it produced.

  541. He who does the will of my Father. Now, if

  542. you understand that doing the will of the Father is

  543. what keeps us okay, is what demonstrates is the evidence

  544. that we are, that we belong to him. They were

  545. in the covering. No, that means it is the oil.

  546. The oil is not just about the anointing of the

  547. Holy Spirit. The oil is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

  548. You know what I'm saying. Not not the oil.

  549. It's it's not just the present, is the resence and

  550. the fruit.

  551. Of the Holy Spirit.

  552. That is why when you understand when that the oil

  553. represents the fruit, you cannot borrow another person's fruit.

  554. It's like you did your PhD. Read.

  555. Can I borrow your PhD to go and teach in

  556. another college? I cannot. You come saying now, maybe you

  557. earn your your qualification to become a director somewhere. Can

  558. I borrow it and you use it another company?

  559. I cannot. It's distinctly and uniquely yours.

  560. It has your mark that will that plan of God,

  561. that journey belongs to you and you alone. You come

  562. saying no, you cannot borrow. What does it mean? Let's

  563. go a bit deeper there, what it means? What does

  564. it mean? It means that my children cannot borrow my faith?

  565. You know what I'm saying. No, I mean teens we

  566. have here, we always keep playing. That doesn't mean your

  567. your mom and dad are Christian. Means you're a Christian.

  568. Now you need your own personal faith. Doesn't mean I

  569. preach and I tell a great testimony or anyone here

  570. means that my testimony is your testimony.

  571. No, No, it encourages you.

  572. It encourages it empowered to find your own testimony. My

  573. good works is to encourage you to do greater good works.

  574. You co'm saying, no, it's like that. That's why you

  575. cannot borrow. Doesn't mean you can't mix. You a better

  576. Christian than anything else? Right, No, nothing, you cannot borrow

  577. my worship. You cannot borrow the teaching of another person,

  578. of a YouTuber or a facebooker, You cannot borrow. It

  579. doesn't mean listening a lot makes you more Christian and all.

  580. It's what you do, what you want what the faith

  581. that you do leaving out And this is very very important,

  582. you know, I know I keep saying that this is

  583. very very important, but it's true. Okay, which leads me

  584. to the second point. Okay, listening to a second point.

  585. The first one is the cannot borrow oil. The second

  586. one is that you cannot use all oil because they

  587. were supported. I told you they were waiting at seven o'clock, right,

  588. isn't there? But then the groom came back twelve o'clock?

  589. How long did the torch burn? Fifteen twenty minutes? It's

  590. only for that time. Your oil is for that season.

  591. It is not for the twelve o'clock. It's for the

  592. seven o'clock. I'm saying, you know, it is very very important, Princess.

  593. Now, how does it?

  594. What does it mean? But what do I mean by that?

  595. I will the way I present it is? When was

  596. the last time you experience a work and a testimony

  597. from God?

  598. Was it this year? Is this month?

  599. Or your last testimony was ten, twelve, fifteen, twenty years ago?

  600. The last time that God spoke to you? The last

  601. time you did something out of faith?

  602. You know what I mean? Right?

  603. When was the last time I know people and I've

  604. actually I used that, but teacher back back home, Oh,

  605. I was very blessed by him tell me about his

  606. conversion life and one of the people who contributed to

  607. my conversion as well. After twenty five thirty years, is

  608. still the same testimony. I'm not saying that you cannot use. Yes,

  609. there is a there is a shine to it, but

  610. then after that nothing more. You know, it's possible to

  611. live a life that you used to trust God, that

  612. you stop trusting God.

  613. Ready it used.

  614. It's very possible to used to have a feeling for

  615. your wife or your spouse, and then after that you

  616. just go through the routine.

  617. Ready, how many of you that you know?

  618. Yeah, I definitely know how it feels fast.

  619. I definitely not you know what I'm saying. No, it's

  620. very rare. When was the last time you guys, you know,

  621. when for a movie or is she not movie? Okay?

  622. Better not go movie?

  623. Okay, wait for a date that you know, I don't know,

  624. after I have kids at that se REDI I know

  625. everything went down here already, you know, you know, and

  626. then you hope that something, hopefully after their children something.

  627. Then it didn't came back. Also, Oh, you know what

  628. I'm saying. You cannot use all oil. Your testimony for

  629. the past is the past. That means you must have

  630. new oil.

  631. You see.

  632. And there's this thing about you must have new testimonies,

  633. new challenge, new adventure.

  634. I call it. I want a challenge, new adventure.

  635. You and your wife, your spouse and all your husband,

  636. your children must always have new chapters. Why now you

  637. cannot keep living in the past. Oh, I wish there

  638. were six and they will stop rebeling, you know, or

  639. maybe like maybe less. I wish there were one year

  640. old to your old. They started walking and running and

  641. not control them. Ready after that, when your children is

  642. seventy eighteen, I wish. No, it's past ready. That time

  643. is time ready. What you have is what you have.

  644. We learn that the hard way a lot of times,

  645. isn't it. It's true one and all, it's very very

  646. very rich in life. You need new chapters. You must

  647. embrace the new chapter.

  648. Okay. The past is past ready? Okay?

  649. And so when I mean, my dad, is that your

  650. testimony with God? You used to obey, you, to serve,

  651. you used to give, you, used to minister. And you know, really,

  652. I'm not just talking about church. I'm talking about your life.

  653. You walk as a man, as a woman outside with

  654. the wonder and the reality of God guiding you into everything.

  655. It's really just everywhere you see God, it's like you.

  656. But now it's like you walk around the world with

  657. such a skepticism, with a filter, with such a dread

  658. and such. You know, I don't know cynicism. You know,

  659. He's like, oh, Hi, why this further? You judge more

  660. than you tried to ask from God. You you know,

  661. you're dismissed and you're procrastinate more than you are responsive

  662. towards God. You get me a right to the hard harden. Really,

  663. when was the last time you know you you are

  664. so open to it? When was the last time you

  665. did something out of faith?

  666. Okay?

  667. When one like no, I was changing my homieh when

  668. I start thing we're informations, I was like, oh before

  669. college or during college? It is like twenty five years ago. Hey,

  670. I know you got kids lab but they go together.

  671. I know that's that's a partner. Ah, you're not the

  672. toilet okay? And all you know about how about food?

  673. Hey?

  674. Did you ask that when you were college students? Didn't

  675. know someone he went to China, some more in the

  676. interior parts, some more or not open toilets and not

  677. those on the toilets, and you can see all the

  678. ice cream making one okay, actually seen before, it's like.

  679. Oh really, it's really really gross. Man anyway, but.

  680. Now not already now God already and goodness, you know,

  681. but he can do it. But now change then, but

  682. it then after I encourage them, and then okay, then

  683. started going for where they could local missions. Then after

  684. that he started going every year, every year, started going.

  685. He said, every time I go, I realized that my

  686. work problem not so bigger, not so bigger in this

  687. The guy is really high ranking private equity dude, very high,

  688. one of the biggest in Southeast Asia. I want to

  689. be very high. But he was willing to at least. Hey,

  690. you know, I cannot rely on my old China missionary story. Really,

  691. you know, I've been there and done there. No, I

  692. want to go on a new one. I want to

  693. see God doing new, fresh work. And there's something very

  694. important about new new oil and not relying on all oil.

  695. And you see, there's this principle, there's this unique feature

  696. about faith that we miss, you know, do you feel

  697. this thing called faith begets faith. Yeah, faith begets faith

  698. beget meaning it gives birth to new faith.

  699. Faith is like a seller.

  700. Now when he has the right environment, it multiplies one

  701. anot our whole entire being as a human being, biology

  702. and life is come from multiplication.

  703. When an not it gives itself.

  704. It wants to grow into a tissue, into a muscle

  705. and everything it grows. So it begins with a simple yes.

  706. Because you're able to say yes, you are ready for

  707. the next challenge. Starts with level one, then level two,

  708. then level.

  709. Three, you know.

  710. Recently, I was watching this Korean show called Army Chef.

  711. If your watch with her. I love that show man.

  712. You can change to take it out. It's a clean show.

  713. It's about this boy who you know, basically started cooking

  714. for the army, and his whole world is like a

  715. video game.

  716. He cooked one dish, he will level up. Cook one dish,

  717. he will level and have a question.

  718. And he was looking at Also, I was watching my

  719. son and we're like wow. It starts with saying the

  720. small yes, you know, and you start ranking up, you know,

  721. and you realize that faith of this principle when you

  722. start with one and you say yes, you can go

  723. to the next one, and you go to the next one,

  724. and you go to the next one. And by the

  725. time you reach there, when you say all the small

  726. yes is you have a depth to your faith. It's

  727. not like a shallow well. You know, once you scoop, hey,

  728. how come God mud and dirt ready? Because it's shallow,

  729. you cannot use much. You know, you can use the

  730. scoop a bit. But there comes a time in your

  731. life when it's dry season. You need to survive not

  732. just for one hour, you need to survive for days,

  733. weeks and for months no rain, and you need to

  734. dig into that well again and again. If you've never

  735. done that well in your life, you won't be able

  736. to survive that dry season. That is why we have Christians. No,

  737. I know, friends and myself is good as well. That

  738. if you're not careful, that if you stop saying yes

  739. to a lot of things that God wants you to

  740. go in life, when you arrive in a juncture that

  741. you really need God's help. So God, I need your wisdom.

  742. This is such a big deal in my life. I

  743. don't know where this family is hell for anything as well?

  744. You really need you, and God speaks to you. It

  745. gives a certain direction. Okay, and you know it's the

  746. right thing, it is the godly thing to do. But

  747. yet with all these things you cannot make the right decision.

  748. You are not able to make the right decision because

  749. your will is not deep enough. I really really want to,

  750. but because the world and the flesh is too strong,

  751. you cannot see it. You can hear that maybe, But

  752. then because the world is so strong, your faith those

  753. and you start to dismiss, you start to delay, and

  754. you start to deny.

  755. The voice of God.

  756. It was there before, but all these layers stopped you

  757. because your faith wasn't there.

  758. You can mean right you, I'm saying no.

  759. That's why people who if you stop giving one ring

  760. gid or ten ring gid when you have nothing much,

  761. you think you would give one thousand, ten thousand, one

  762. hundred thousand, one million when you are a multi millionaire,

  763. you won't because you never done that.

  764. Well, you never. You don't have the fundamentals.

  765. And now in sports are we call you don't have

  766. the fundamental You cannot get to that stage. Some people

  767. say that, oh I don't want to give, sir, I'm not.

  768. I'm really and not't do anything for God right now

  769. because I want to focus on my career and stuff

  770. like that. And after my career, after my retirement everything settled,

  771. then I would have got what happened on what happened

  772. on You give when you have now. And this is

  773. what I lead to my third important point. If you

  774. don't believe me what I'm saying. The third important point.

  775. The first one is what you cannot borrow the oil,

  776. second one is you cannot use all oil.

  777. The third one is this.

  778. Okay, when they discovered they did not have oil, what

  779. did they do?

  780. They went to buy oil.

  781. It's foolish enough to look like you don't have oil,

  782. But it's also more foolish to look like you're scrabbing

  783. around the world, the whole entire town at midnight when

  784. no one is open. What does it mean You look

  785. foolish when it's nighttime, You look foolish when you don't

  786. buy oil when it's daytime. You know what I'm saying now, Actually,

  787. you don't look foolish like you look fully. You think

  788. that you look smart, you got everything ready, but you

  789. didn't do what you're supposed to do during the dead time,

  790. but at night time comes you look foolish. So the

  791. third one is you must discern the time. During the

  792. day time buy the oil at the nighttime. There is

  793. a time and all you're not saying what I'm saying. No,

  794. So you see all these three aspects he identifies the

  795. wisdom and all that all of us are very capable,

  796. but we don't do We think we can borrow. Okay,

  797. we think we can use oil, and we think we

  798. can buy any time. Anyone who exhibits this, you know,

  799. the human the present time, you will think it is foolish.

  800. Because you could have avoided all this.

  801. Does it make sense we could have avoided all these things.

  802. So from all this understanding, Jesus is trying to tell

  803. us something here. Okay, just say, cannot you cannot borrow,

  804. you cannot use all oil and now, but there is

  805. a time that you do, and there's a time even

  806. when you want to you come buy. Yeah, I'm right,

  807. even when you want to. Jesus understand the time of

  808. the season as well. He says, when the sun when

  809. it is day time, you can walk and nothing will

  810. harm you. The decisskat people will kill them, you know.

  811. He said, no, no, when it's light time, the light is

  812. with you. But there's a time when it's night time,

  813. when Jesus leaves and they are exposed, you can't do

  814. some of the works they really you know, I'm saying, no,

  815. there's a time we must discern it. So how we

  816. discerning when is the daytime and when it's the nighttime?

  817. When is the daytime with the daytime, when it's light,

  818. when it's clearly shining, when it's clearly that you should

  819. be outside and not inside, when it's clear that you

  820. must be taking out your money to go trading.

  821. You must be going out to look for value.

  822. We know because at nighttime, even if you want to buy,

  823. there is nothing for value for you to exchange. So

  824. right now in this world, when we are out there

  825. right now, is there something that we are constantly right

  826. now looking out to exchange for value for eternal value.

  827. Then it makes sense or not makes sense or not

  828. because there's a time of time you can't exchange and

  829. if you want to do, you can't do anymore.

  830. I don't know what there is.

  831. It could be It could be time, could your hell,

  832. could be anything, could be your finance.

  833. Something will come and take.

  834. But while you still can to exchange for whatever you

  835. have for eternal that is of value to buy from God,

  836. that is, for eternal value that they cannot well not rush,

  837. they will not be stolen by people.

  838. Are you exchanging it from now? You know? I'm saying no.

  839. Can you repeat his three again? What's the first one?

  840. Cannot borrow?

  841. Cannot borrow, the second one you cannot use or oil,

  842. and the third one is what you can only buy

  843. oil in the daytime. Okay, how are you phrasey? I

  844. should phrased it better. You can only buy all during

  845. the daytime. Does it make sense or not? And so

  846. when we Christians believe us we do all these things.

  847. We are the ones that are like what Moses call

  848. us to be, the ones that are in the covering,

  849. not just eating the lamb, but standing step fast clothes,

  850. ready girded staff, ready ready to go when Jesus comes, Well,

  851. like Moses calls, we leave the house immediately and we

  852. go to the river and we get baptized by by

  853. the You know what I'm saying that he said, it's

  854. like want this Why you see you see the similarity

  855. in a then you start to actually, this is the

  856. first part I don't have time. You start to realize that, Hey,

  857. but are you sure you teach the writing? Like I said,

  858. you go to the next parable. Why it is you

  859. just talking about the ten parables in it? That's right,

  860. the parable a ten talents. Right, it's not talking about uh,

  861. the foishes. You're talking about what you're talking about. At

  862. the end of the days, people will be evil. It's

  863. not just whether a white servant or is a good

  864. and faithful servant. You are evil and unfaithful, you know

  865. what I'm saying. Not so wisdom is one thing, but

  866. the next level, are you good in your heart? Means

  867. that the person with the one talent, that all of

  868. us are one telen They could do something in all

  869. but they choose to hide it. All of us we

  870. have something there, but they choose to hide it. And

  871. that is why the third series, the third part was saying,

  872. you know will be what we're the separation, and Jesus

  873. will tell you what is that talent that we have.

  874. The talent is not ah, I can worship, I don't know,

  875. I means great. But the true talent Jesus reveals is

  876. what what can we do during the daytime? Jesus says,

  877. when I was naked, did you clothe me? When I

  878. was hungry? Did you feed me? When you did for

  879. the least of them? You did it onto there's a time.

  880. So when you read this, I was like, Oh, I

  881. see now.

  882. This is what it means to have that awe in

  883. our lives.

  884. This is what it means to be good and faithful

  885. with our talents because Jesus is all around us. But

  886. if we do not do we do not recognize him,

  887. we will be both foolish and evil what I'm saying,

  888. and we will have no excuse Jesus's judgment to separate

  889. the ship that God will be fully just and holy.

  890. I'm saying no, and so we cannot lose that.

  891. You know, you know what I'm saying now, Christian, you

  892. must continue to bear that Durian thru we bear that

  893. Durian fruit. Do that God workspeople Go and visit people

  894. they're sick.

  895. I love that, you know that. Just many go ahead

  896. and pray for people.

  897. You know, you know it's some of us are sometimes

  898. that you'll be just our household or our parents, our dads,

  899. and God our children.

  900. Can we be a be kinder? And your colleagues every

  901. single day. Can we make it count?

  902. Did you give? Did you did you cover? Did you

  903. visit all with all that you have? Like Jesus is

  904. when here in all thirty three years on it. Did

  905. he use every part to show the world this is

  906. what the Kingdom of Heaven is like.

  907. Give them hope as well. Amen.
