You're listening to a passage to go from ex church.
-
We hope this message will light up your teeth.
-
Okay, now I'm going to go into the world. We
-
are doing the sixth core value, which is prayer powered. Okay,
-
uh no slider, okay, Okay. The last time I was here,
-
the last time I was here, the last time I
-
was here, I spoke about heart postures. As Christians, there
-
are certain postures that we take, you know, to show
-
the Lord. Lord, I'm serious in my walk with you.
-
And the two posture that I spoke about was prayer
-
and integrity. But I didn't go really deep into prayer
-
and integrity. I touched on different heart postures, and today
-
I was very surprised as I was preparing it. Two
-
of the hard posture that I spoke about the last
-
time I was here at XBU cropped up again. It's
-
sprayed integrity. Remember I told you about integrity and how
-
God said integrity. He spoke to me and he said integrity.
-
I heard his voice and I said, Oh, Lord, where
-
am I going wrong? Why is God telling me integrity?
-
So I took Lord, I checked myself, make sure I'm
-
you know, on the right track, and then a few
-
days passed and he said integrity again. I heard his voice.
-
He said nothing, He just said integrity. And some of
-
you heard it, except for Passus Steven. He was sharing
-
an XPG. He wasn't here, So for his sake, I'll
-
tell it again. And then the third time, integrity again.
-
And I showed you the picture. It came where my daughter,
-
she's working in Kazakhstan. She sent me a picture and
-
she is in education and she was she was atturning
-
to this child and she had a white board behind her,
-
and on the whiteboard was a big word integrity. So
-
that was the content nation. God wants a church that
-
has integrity. You and me, okay, so we'll talk a
-
little bit more about integrity. So the gift of prayer,
-
A lot of people run from prayer, right, I'm one
-
of them. You're not the only one. Every time I
-
hear the last time, when we were in DVCC at
-
level two, there was a few people that used to
-
pray before the service. All the older ones. I don't
-
know why the younger ones never joined. It was all
-
the older ones. And they always say all the people
-
will come and join. I say, yeah, yeah, I'm coming.
-
But I'm running here, I'm doing this, I'm doing that.
-
So I would always you know, once in a while ago,
-
but I was never there all the time. Guess what
-
I'm doing now. I am leading intercessory prayer at ten
-
am every Sunday, at nine am. I'm the one leading it,
-
so I know that the Lord. You know, you may
-
not be ready, but if the Lord is telling you,
-
because I know at that time, God was always telling
-
me maybe I need you to go and pray. I
-
need you to go and pray, and I will always
-
run away. So today we're talking about pray. So if
-
you have your books, you can take it out. And
-
I'm coming from a very different expect on prayer. This
-
morning I heard my husband preach on prayer at ex
-
PJ and I was swallowing so hot, Oh my goodness.
-
He was so good, and I was saying, Lord, mine
-
is so different from what she shed. And he shared
-
from cover to cover, he completed everything was racing through
-
because he had to bring me here on time. We
-
didn't want to be lady was racing through, but every
-
word was a jewel. It was so good, and I
-
was just learning from him, and I was asking the
-
Lord it's so different. That's when he said, remember when
-
I told you take up your five fence when you
-
didn't want to preach. God told me to take up
-
your five hands, I mean your five fence, your hand,
-
and look at your five fingers. And then every finger
-
is different. And I was thinking, Lord, what are you
-
trying to teach me? Is it? Every finger is different?
-
If one doesn't work, you won't be able to hold
-
a cup. If one finger doesn't work, Say you hurt
-
your little finger, you won't be able to write properly.
-
You won't be able to For Indians, we eat with
-
our hands, you won't be able to eat properly. So
-
all of us have a function, the five fingers. All
-
of us have a function. So in the Kingdom of God,
-
maybe I'm the little finger and I have a little function.
-
So I'm gonna deliver the message to you the way
-
the Lord the Holy Spirit ministered to me. Okay, the
-
gift of prayer live it tickers twenty six to twelve.
-
I will walk among you and be your God, and
-
you will be my people. And how the Holy Spirit
-
minister to me was very very strange where prayer is concerned.
-
He actually took me back to Genesis, and in Genesis
-
chapter twelve, Chapter one, verse two, I want to read
-
this to you. The earth was without form and void,
-
and darkness was on the face of the deep, and
-
the spirit of God was hovering over the face of
-
the waters. Then God said, let there be light. And
-
there was light. When he had completed, when he had
-
completed creating the world a beautiful home the garden. At
-
that time he created men. On the sixth day, you know,
-
when Adam fell from you know, into sin people. You know,
-
if you don't dig into the world, you will think that, oh,
-
the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit
-
must have gone into a panic. Oh dear, what happens now?
-
You know, even I I was like you know, as
-
I I think one of the reasons why God asked
-
me to come here and share the word is he
-
wanted to take me deeper. He wanted to take me
-
deeper into the world to find out his heart. He's
-
hard for you and me, and why he wanted us
-
so badly, I would say, so badly in the garden.
-
When he had completed everything, he created men, and he
-
was looking forward to the fellowship with men. Okay, he
-
was looking forward to being there talking to them, taking
-
care of them. But do you know he completed The
-
earth was so ugly, no form, darkness. Can you imagine,
-
can't see anything? There was no form, There was nothing
-
but the spirit of God. You know he was there
-
from the very beginning. Hear some no oh, ex kids,
-
Okay he You know God, when he puts us in
-
a place, he doesn't just throw us in any place.
-
He made it so beautiful before he created men, he
-
was looking forward to fellowship with Adam, and then Adam sinned.
-
So the Trinity didn't go into a panic and say, okay,
-
now we got to you know, what do we do?
-
What do we do? We wanted that fellowship with men,
-
but now men has fallen, So how do we do this?
-
But when I was reading the Word, it says God's
-
plan of redemption was already established before creation. I was like, yes, O, Lord,
-
I didn't know that. I thought y'all planned when Adam fell?
-
He said, no, it was in three different areas in
-
the Bible. He says that God had already planned. So
-
God already knew that Adam is going to disobey and fall.
-
Can you imagine? But yet he created us. Yet he
-
knew until today we will hurt him. He still wanted
-
that relationship with us. Why I will tie everything together. Okay.
-
The cross was never his backup plan. We always thought that,
-
oh Jesus has to die, it was a last minute plan. No,
-
it was never a backup plan. It was never a
-
last minute plan. It was always his eternal plan revealed
-
in his perfect timing, perfect timing. So when Jesus was
-
that perfect sacrifice, right, because Adam fell and God and
-
sin just cannot He cannot have sinned. God is so holy,
-
so mighty, so beautiful, so awesome. Sin is not something
-
that he can you know, he cannot. So a price
-
has to be paid. He they have already discussed. Jesus
-
will come. He will be that perfect land. He will
-
die on the cross for us. He will be that
-
perfect sacrifice. You know, I want to share with you something.
-
When Jesus was hanging on the wall, ah sorry, on
-
the cross and the curtain, you know, when he said
-
it is finished, the curtain tore from the top to
-
the bottom. So people don't you know, people don't have
-
to you know, now people look at the Bible, the
-
Word and say, hey, this is not right, this is manrituren.
-
This is but this curtain is sixty feet high. Sixty
-
feet imagine sixty feet is how many blocks you think
-
in a building? Sixty feet may five to six stories high.
-
The temple had this whale. Right, no one can go
-
into the Holy of Holies. You can't go in because
-
I seen the priests have to prepare himself before he
-
goes into the Holy of Holies. Behind the curtain where
-
the ark of the Lord is, that is where the
-
Holy of Holies is. No one can enter into the
-
Holy of Holies. So the curtain was made sixty feet high.
-
My husband tells me five to six, five to six
-
some stories high, sixty feet high, thirty feet with the
-
width is thirty feet from this side to this side
-
is thirty feet with. You know how thick is the
-
is that curtain? Look at your coat and touch your coat,
-
your clothes, touch your clothes. It's so thin, right, how
-
many cm? Maybe two three am? The curtain was three
-
to four inches stick. That was how thick the curtain was.
-
From sixty feet thirty feet across and about four inches stick,
-
the curtain tore from the top. Do you know God
-
was waiting to tear the curtain so he can have
-
fellowship with us, tore it from top to bottom. Okay,
-
today we walk boldly into the throne of God. What
-
a privilege. You and I have a privilege to walk
-
into the presence of God and speak boldly. Okay, let's
-
not take that for granted. It did not come lightly.
-
It came with a cause, with God giving his life
-
for you and me. Jesus gave his life, and he
-
didn't go to the cross just you know, hanging there
-
pretty but he suffered, you know the tor men. Sometimes
-
people tell me, you know, the stripes that Jesus took,
-
the thirty ninth strike that he took on his body
-
was the healers from then to now to tomorrow. That mess,
-
it's everlasting. Jesus is not going to come again because
-
you are sick. So when someone says I'm waiting for
-
my healing, that's not right. Actually, when I tell the Lord, Lord,
-
heal me, there's total silence. He never says anything. I've
-
been a Christian for a long time and I recognize
-
his voice. Total silence. He never says anything. I say, Lord,
-
I really need this healing. I really need you to
-
heal me, I'm really not well. Total silence, And then
-
the Holy Spirit whispered to me, you already healed two
-
thousand years ago. More than two thousand years ago. Jesus
-
healed you when he took that whipping. And the Book
-
of Isaiah says Jesus didn't look like a man anymore
-
when they were finished with him. He didn't look like
-
a man anymore. His flesh probably was hanging, you know,
-
his his skin was hanging, his nose probably tall. Because
-
it was a whip. It's not a tiny, pretty whip
-
with one you know, it had They say, it's a
-
it's a whip cat with nine or seven uh, you know,
-
different things that come up from that whip. And each
-
whip had nails on it, maybe blades on it, and
-
glass on it. Who knows what this fellers put on
-
that whip. And when it went around the Lord, and
-
when they pulled it, all these seven things went tightly
-
wrapped around his body. And when they pulled it. Can
-
you imagine this is just flash guys. I mean, we
-
get a paper cut. The other day. My husband took
-
out a bag and he had a paper cut. He went, oh,
-
that's the worst. That's the worst. He was jumping. You know,
-
that's the worst. I was like, Ah, be a man,
-
be a man, It's only a paper cut. The Lord
-
Jesus took that whipping thirty nine times. Today, let's not
-
say Lord heal me, just say received. I've received my healing.
-
I'm healed. You know. Yes, your body will tell you no,
-
you're still sick. The flesh will tell you no, you're
-
still aching, they're still pain, still there. But as far
-
as your concern, I'm healed. And I remember my my
-
sister in law, she had cancer until her dying day.
-
She stood firm. She never she never cursed God. And
-
she told my husband Terrence, I don't know what to do.
-
I've done everything I need to do, you know. And
-
my husband said to her, you have done everything you
-
need you needed to do. You didn't curse God. You're
-
still believing. And she's with a lot today, you know.
-
So don't be afraid of what your body is going
-
to tell you, because Jesus paid the price and you
-
are healed. Okay, hallelujah. So why did why did God
-
send Jesus to do that, to to have that fellowship
-
with us? Why did the curtain break to have that
-
fellowship with us. Why did he tear from the top
-
to the bottom. God probably ripped it and say, now
-
I have access to my children. So that's why we
-
cannot take prayer so so lightly. We cannot take prayer
-
and say everything I have prayed for. Okay, let's say
-
you're not like that. I'm like that. Okay. Most of
-
the time we pray when everything is exhausted. You know,
-
we've tried everything. We've done this, we've done that, We've
-
done everything to try and work it out. It didn't work.
-
Then I say, okay, it looks like I have to
-
go and disturb the Lord and pray. But don't be
-
like me. Pray in everything. The Bible says, rejoice forever more.
-
This is the will of God. Pray without ceasing, don't
-
stop praying. Never stop praying without ceasing, he said, without stopping.
-
And in everything give thanks. So this is the three
-
things concerning you in Christ Jesus. Okay, So don't go
-
to the Lord when everything doesn't work. And then you say, okay,
-
I will go to the Lord like me. Okay, don't
-
do that. See, I'm very very open to you. I
-
tell you, even though I'm a leader. I make mistakes,
-
too many mistakes. We all learn from one another. Okay,
-
you learn from me. I learned from you. I know
-
Pastor came and when Pastor shares, he always says, let's
-
keep this real. We are real people living in a
-
real world. We will fall, we will make mistakes, but
-
we will learn from one another. I learn a lot
-
from Pasta Steven. It's my favorite. Right every time I
-
go everywhere, I say they are my favorite, but they
-
are all my favorite. They're all my favorite. Always be
-
in prayer mode. My husband was telling he conversed with
-
God in everything he does, all the ideas that God
-
gives him, because he continuously conversed, continuously converse. If you're
-
in school, continuously talk to the Lord. Lord. I can't
-
understand the subject. What are you doing? Because he wants
-
do you know that the extent he went reading the
-
world and then creating men, and then Adam falls, and
-
then since a prayer and God goes, oh no, back again,
-
and then Jesus came. He suffered a terrible death in
-
or to say, so that we can we can have
-
the righteousness. We stand the righteousness. We take the righteousness
-
of God, and we stand straight, we go boldly. All
-
that was done so that God can have fellowship, because
-
what is fellowship, It's that prayer when we talk to him,
-
converse with him on anything subject bgr boy, girl, relationship, school, work, parents,
-
how to bring up my children? No parents go to
-
parents school. There is no parent school. There is no marriage.
-
You know when you get married. Now our pastor is
-
going to get married, Sharon. You know it's going to
-
be a white You know. There is no school, you know,
-
no school. Worse at least now they have pre marriage
-
counseling and posts. When my husband and I got married,
-
there was none. We just got married and we just lived.
-
Let's se But today there's teaching. Appreciate everything that the
-
church is doing for you because it's for you, Okay. Integrity,
-
integrity or integrity very very important. Do you know you
-
and I are laborers and then the Bible says that
-
the laborers are few, right, the harvest is plenty, but
-
the laborers, you and I are laborers. If we don't
-
have integrity, God cannot use this. If we are one
-
thing in church and something else outside, God cannot use
-
us because God cannot trust us. So have integrity in prayer.
-
Don't say loosely. I have prayed to justify our actions
-
most of the time. He said, if we want to
-
do something, the password is Christian always says, is I
-
have prayed to leave me alone. But there is three
-
things then the Holy Spirit in mind. Actually there's one more. Okay,
-
there is praying. Yes, you're seeking the Lord. Okay, Lord,
-
shall I marry this man? We do pre marriage counseling
-
and we asked one couple, did you pray? And then
-
they looked at each other and said no, we didn't pray.
-
House Like, I almost fell off my chair, almost fell
-
off my chair. I was like thinking, oh, dear, okay,
-
never mind, it's not too late. Pray. It's not too
-
late to go and seek the Lord and ask. Because
-
marriage it's not easy. It's not a walk in the park.
-
It's not those of you are married. You know, it's
-
not a walk in the park. You really need the Lord.
-
And without a shadow of doubt, I know this is
-
my husband. Elder Terance is man for me. You know,
-
I didn't want to marry him. I fought God for
-
three and a half years. I didn't want him. I
-
ran away, I prayed, I tried and I begged the Lord.
-
I say, God, you know, can you change your mind?
-
You know, I will marry anybody on him. I don't want,
-
you know, why not not because he wasn't handsome. He
-
was very handsome, but Alertenans was always from young until now.
-
He's very serious. And I am the naughty one. I'm
-
you know, always mischief, always cannot call into the pastor's
-
office to be ticked off, always because I'm always doing something,
-
some nonsense somewhere, you know, doing this and doing that.
-
And he is by the book, he's very If I
-
marry this guy, I'm gone because there will be no
-
more fun. He will just want to do everything by
-
the book. And where is that fun when you do
-
everything by the book. So I always no, I say no,
-
God cannot discern this guy cannot. So after three and
-
a half years, when God said, okay, actually, I asked God, actually,
-
I told God, God, can you find me a man?
-
Because my dad and mom was bad, bad, bad bad.
-
I didn't want to be in a place where I
-
didn't want to see. I didn't want my life to
-
be what I saw in my parents. Oh boy, it
-
was so bad. My mom's crying all the time, and
-
I didn't wonder that. I say, God, you pick a
-
guy for me. Be careful what you pray, because God
-
listens to you. I was, you know, because I always
-
converse with the Lord, right. I just came to the
-
Lord at iime, you know, maybe a few years in
-
the Lord I was always called. I was in a
-
crowded bus. You know when I prayed that prayer, Lord,
-
you pick a guy for me, I was praying for
-
nothing else to do, so crowded. I was holding on
-
to my life because he's a minibus. Now minibusses are
-
My daughter went to museum. The minibusses are put into
-
the museum and put the minibusses. Do you know I
-
used to take that minibusses. It's so funny when I
-
saw when she showed me the picture and I saw
-
the minibus in the museum, Oh my goodness. I was
-
in the minibus when I prayed. I say, God, you choose,
-
you choose for me? And God heard it, and God answered,
-
and he chose the guy for me. And when he
-
chose the guy for me, I didn't want it. So
-
God said, it's okay, you don't have to marry him.
-
You can any Christian it's okay, but I said no,
-
I will marry him, and this gift feelings no feelings
-
as well. There was no feelings. First day, no feelings,
-
second day, no feeling. I have to marry this guy.
-
You tell me how God has a sense of humor. Right,
-
God has a sense of humor. So praying there's also listening.
-
That's just not praying. There's also listening. There's also obeying.
-
God will tell you something. You want to pick somebody,
-
you want somebody, you want to marry, something, you want
-
to change your job, you want to go to another church.
-
There's always praying, seeking the Lord, tearing before the Lord.
-
Nobody likes waiting on the Lord. But you wait on
-
the lot until it gives you an answer. You wait
-
on the Lord, and then you listen. What is the
-
Lord telling? Sometimes he doesn't tell you, like he didn't
-
tell me a lot. When I said heal me, he
-
was very quiet. That means something there is not right.
-
And then the Holy Spirit told me, you are already healed.
-
You don't have to wait, you don't have to decide.
-
You don't have to say, heal me, heal me, heal me,
-
heal me. You don't have to. You're already done. So
-
done this Jesus not gonna come back again. Go to
-
the cross. He can die again, suffer again so you
-
can be healed. No, it's done, it's completed. The work
-
is finished. So receive your healing. And then obeying. The
-
third thing is obeying. You know, you the Lord tells
-
you something. Will you obey? The Lord tells you, no,
-
don't move, don't get out of that job. Now, don't
-
do this cost now, don't marry that girl, don't marry
-
that boy. Will you obey? God told me marry Terrence.
-
I tried. I tried, and I tried, but I was
-
always with the Lord. I didn't run away. I was
-
always with the Lord, praying and seeking the Lord. You
-
know how, Lord, I got no feelings for this guy.
-
How is it going to be? You know, just waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting,
-
and then in the end I just obeyed. I said, no,
-
I'm just going to go and marry this guy. It'll
-
be like this, you know, this mixed marry. You know
-
sometimes the Indians allay. What they do is they have
-
these fixed marriages. You know, suddenly you see this guy
-
and you got to marry this guy and you, oh,
-
my goodness, is very frightening. Anyway, pray is always powered
-
when we have the knowledge of His will and his word.
-
It's very important that you know God's will and God's word.
-
If you do not know his will, and if you
-
do not know his word, the enemy will play with you.
-
He will tell you things, he will make you go
-
in circles, and you will not know what happened. So
-
you must you must read the word. It's the manual.
-
I hate reading manuals. I hate reading manuals. And you
-
can ask my husband. Every time he buys electronic, something electronic,
-
he will tell me, you have to read. And the
-
books are not thin, they are so fat. Who's going
-
to read it? But this is the book of life.
-
If you don't read your Bible, you don't know what
-
is written about you. Because everything here is concerning you.
-
It's concerning you. And the devil knows the word, and
-
he can twist and turn the word. He twists and
-
turned the word where Adam and Eve was concerned. Do
-
you want to fall into that pray again? Spend time
-
with the word, Spend time with the Lord. He went
-
through all this to have fellowship with you is prayer.
-
Prayer is very in another To describe prayer in another
-
word is intimacy. It is intimate. You know. Sometimes there
-
are things you know passes. Even and Sharon are going
-
to get married soon. There are things that they cannot
-
share with one another, but they can go to the
-
father we call In the Book of Romans, he says
-
Abave Father. We call him Abah Father, Abbah. Such loving,
-
such closeness. When I wake up in the morning and
-
God wakes me up in the morning to pray, there's
-
this closeness that's this tight. You know, I don't things
-
that I cannot share with my husband, but I can
-
share with my father. He knows me. He knows me.
-
And sometimes I just don't even have to open my
-
mouth and he knows me. Have that kind of a
-
prayer life. I remember when I first became a Christian,
-
just coming to know the Lord. God would wake me
-
up every morning, you know how he wakes me up
-
on the door at four a m. In the morning.
-
He will knock on the door. Then I will wake up. Oh,
-
then I look at the time, it's full Oh, time
-
to preak. He'll knock. Sometimes you call my name, Mabel.
-
You only calls my name once. I'll wake up. Oh
-
I look at the time. I know it's time with
-
the Lord. One day I had him standing in front
-
of my bed and he was telling me abide in me,
-
and I will abide with you, for there's nothing you
-
can do on your own if you don't abide in me.
-
Stay with me, stay close to me, says comes with prayer.
-
He paid a lot to have fellowship with us. Okay,
-
prayer is powered when we had the knowledge of his
-
will and his word. So you have to know the will.
-
What is God's will? You know? Jesus said to his
-
disciples after the Last Supper, there's three Okay, you can
-
go to the next slide. Okay, Jesus said, these are
-
the three things. Do you know that? This is just
-
after he had suffered with his disciples and he was
-
talking to them in the Book of John. This is
-
each chapter, you know. This is chapter fourteen, chapter fifteen,
-
chapter sixteen, all the same things. Do you see what's
-
common there? I have put it in red whatever whatever
-
anything whatever again up there, I didn't put it in red,
-
whatever whatever, whatever in Jesus name. So let's read and
-
I will do whatever you ask in my name, so
-
that the Father may be glorified in the son. You
-
may ask me anything in my name, and I will
-
do it. Anything, whatever, anything, And then he pauses for
-
a while, and then he says it again in John fifteen.
-
It's all in the same time before they caught him
-
and took him to be crucified. This is all just
-
after Judas has left to go and betray Jesus, and
-
this God was talking to his eleven disciples, and he
-
says it again, if you remain in me, just Jesus
-
told me that once. You know, if you abide in me,
-
if you remain in me and my words, what is
-
his words, his will, His words is the Bible. If
-
you remain in my words and my words, remain in you,
-
ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for
-
you John fifteen seven. And then he goes on again
-
in chapter sixteen and he you know, and he says
-
it again, My Father will give you whatever you ask
-
in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your
-
joy will be complete. John sixteen, twenty three, twenty four.
-
There's so many things going on, you know, at the
-
wedding plans will this happened, will that happened. Just ask
-
whatever you want, but enjoy yourself even if he doesn't
-
go according to plan. Enjoy yourself because it's the greatest day.
-
The greatest joy for me is accepting the Lord Jesus
-
Christ in my life. I'm sixty five years old. The
-
greatest joy, if you say, what is the greatest joy?
-
Number one is saying, yes, Lord Jesus, I accept you
-
come into my life. The second greatest joy is saying
-
I do to my husband. That is my second So
-
never never, you know, look and this is not happening.
-
That is not happening. I don't. Just enjoy yourself and
-
have a great time everything. Jellah, never mind, You've already
-
done what you can and after that just leave it
-
to the Lord and God will give you a beautiful wedding.
-
So it's very very important we remember that Jesus wants
-
us to ask everything in his name, and you must
-
know the words so you can ask correctly. We need
-
the knowledge of His world will and his word. I
-
think the next slide, the prayer of a righteous person
-
is powerful and effective James five sixteen. Righteousness is given
-
through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe right,
-
we stand right before the Lord. So don't hesitate. Oh Lord,
-
I have sinned. Quickly go and say Lord, I'm sorry,
-
I have sin. Thank you for cleansing me. That's why
-
he went to the cross. He went to the cross
-
in his they nailed into the cross, and that blood
-
washes us clean as snow. Okay, white as snow. Righteousness
-
is given through faith. So remember, if you don't know
-
the word, and if you had fallen, say you did
-
something wrong, you won't be so bold to go to
-
the Lord. Right you will say, oh I have seen
-
No matter how big that sinness, go to the Lord,
-
because the devil will tell you. The enemy will tell
-
you no, no, no, no, you better go away. God
-
is angry with you. God is not angry with us.
-
Don't run away from God. Run to God. Pray in faith,
-
Mark eleven twenty. Well, this is one of my favorite
-
favorite verse. Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer,
-
believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
-
This is another prayer that you can pray before the Lord.
-
If you know the word, you can tell the Lord.
-
Praying and aligning you know, you remind God, God your word,
-
says sir. Whatever I ask in prayer, if I believe,
-
then I receive it. So believe, believe the Lord to
-
receive what you want. But do you know to come
-
to a place to believe like that? Also, you need
-
to grow. You need to grow, You need to spend
-
time with the Lord. You need to You cannot be
-
a baby. See he shared this morning, and I agree
-
with him. When we come to the Lord. When we
-
just came to the Lord, we were babies, and everything
-
that we ask, the Lord will give it to us
-
very quickly. Everything that you ask, he will give you
-
very quickly. But as you grow and you become slightly
-
older and you know better, there are things that He
-
will check you. As parents, we do that to our
-
children too. We just don't give them ice cream, day night,
-
anytime can eat ice cream. No, we have to check.
-
We have to make sure they have the right vitamins,
-
they have the right proteins. We have to make sure
-
that they grow well. So we don't just give them
-
all the good stuff all the time. So God is
-
the same. He's always checking us you, always telling us okay,
-
this you can do, this you cannot do. And sometimes
-
we don't like to hear it, So you need to mature, Okay,
-
pray according to God's will. First John five, fourteen fifteen.
-
This is the confidence. This is another favorite scripture. So
-
all I got all my favorite scriptures here. This is
-
the confidence we have in approaching God that if we
-
ask everything anything, sorry, according to his will, he hears us.
-
So you need to know what is his will. Only
-
then can you pray in accordance to his word, to
-
his will. This is the confidence I am in approaching
-
God that if I ask anything according to his will,
-
what is it I wanted to tell you on this
-
according to his will? According to his will is also
-
about God. Is everything about people. Love God love people.
-
Love God love people. He's everything about people. He loves
-
these people. It also says, seeky first the Kingdom of God,
-
and all these things will be added to you. So
-
if you're praying according to his will, you're praying for
-
your parents. Don't give up on your parents or your
-
relatives or your friends who are who are not safe
-
yet pray because this is God's will for them to
-
come to know Him, to come into knowledge of the
-
Lord Jesus Christ. So when you are praying according to
-
God's will. Praying for people, helping someone who is in difficulty.
-
This is praying according whenever there is other people involved.
-
You know, God loves it when you're praying for someone else,
-
because this is actually God's will. His heart is for
-
his people. So don't be afraid to pray for others,
-
because the Word says, as you seek his kingdom, all
-
these things will be added to you. His word is
-
his will. Come only to God. I think we shared
-
a little bit on that. Why won't we come boldly?
-
I also shared that sometimes we don't come bodly because
-
the devil has said you have sinned, and God is
-
angry with you. God is never angry with us. Let
-
us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so
-
that we may receive mercy and find grace to help
-
us in our time of need. Okay, that is Hebrew
-
four sixteen ask seek knock Matthew seven seven to eight. Persistence.
-
It's very very important not to say once God, you
-
hurt me. God, you know my heart work. Why do
-
I need to pray? I already told you yesterday? You
-
know you remember. No, The word says pray without ceasing.
-
Somebody told me if you told God wants I don't
-
bother him again, no need to repeat your prayer. But
-
the Bible says differently. It says persistent, it says ceasingly.
-
That means that without stopping is asking the Lord Lord,
-
my husband Lord, he needs to come to know the
-
Lord Lord. I'm standing on the word Lord. I'm standing
-
that if I am safe, my family is safe, You're
-
gonna save my family. You're gonna save my husband. So
-
that is praying again and again. Okay, So don't get
-
tired of praying. Pray continually. See first their Salonians five
-
sixteen to eight, Rejoice always pray, continually give thanks in
-
all circumstances, no matter how difficult it is. Gif thanks,
-
Give thanks, no matter how difficult it is. Do not
-
be anxious. Philippines four six seven. Passa said this. Passa said,
-
you know, we have a word of fifteen church plants
-
today Passes seven fifteen, the latest being ex Surrikam balan Bahasa.
-
It's the fifteen church plant. They did not just one
-
day they were there one day. They know. It wasn't
-
like that. It was through prayer that each church was raised,
-
Each church was reist through prayer. Through believing the Lord
-
through waiting. So if you have something, if you need something,
-
be persistent, believing and make that happen because God wants
-
that for you. Do not be anxious about anything, but
-
in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present
-
your requests to God. We are children of the most
-
High God. There's nothing that God doesn't want us to have.
-
God wants you to have your heart's desires. That's why
-
in bird days we always say, right, this is the
-
famous thing that we all made. The Lord, you know,
-
answer all the desires of your heart. God wants to
-
give you. But sometimes God is just saying so remember, pray, listen, obey,
-
and sometimes you have to wait, you know, And there's
-
always something good in waiting upon the Lord. You know
-
you're telling God, God, I respect you. I wait on
-
you because I respect you. I don't take things on
-
my own and just go and do it because you
-
know I'm in a rush, but I'm waiting on you Lord.
-
That shows God that you're honoring him. You want his
-
answer in your life. And there's many things. You know.
-
We don't want to do it on our own because
-
we don't know our tomorrow. Who knows how tomorrow. Who's
-
the finishing of our faith? Who's the author and the
-
finishing of our faith. If it isn't the Lord, he
-
completes us, we cannot. That's why I was afraid when
-
I ran away from marrying my husband. I was afraid
-
that if I know, without a shadow of Doug, who
-
I am supposed to marry, and if I disobey, I'm
-
going to have a hard time. So whether I liked it,
-
I didn't like it. Whether I had feelings, I didn't
-
have feelings. If God told me the cup was black,
-
the cup is black. This is white. I'm seeing it white.
-
But God says it's black, I said, Lord, I agree
-
with you, it's black. If he says my mic stand
-
is white, I'll say God is white. Whatever the Lord
-
tells me, I will do whatever the Bible tells me.
-
I will do fear the Lord. One of the beautiful
-
thing is fear the Lord. Don't be so so brave,
-
so bold to do anything you want. Jesus paid the
-
price for you and I to be his own. He
-
wants to have that fellowship because he wants your life
-
not to go, you know, to do whatever you know
-
to be lost he wants to be there for you,
-
and he wants to give you a good life. And
-
the only way he's going to do that is if
-
you spend time with him and hear him, and don't
-
stop hearing from him. Talk to him. While I'm listening
-
to the message, I'm talking to the Lord. While I'm
-
listening to the word, I'm talking to the Lord. Been
-
in church for many years, heard many many sermons, many
-
many sermons, and every sermon, whether it was a child preaching,
-
whether it was an adult preaching, whether it was a
-
senior citizen preaching. I love the word why because it's
-
the word of God. It comes from the Book of Life.
-
So be interested in the word of God. Be interested
-
with the business of God church, helping your leaders, helping
-
your pastor, you know, be interested in everything. Come early,
-
arrange the chairs. You know. These are not in the notes.
-
I'm just telling you these are some things that I
-
hold very dearly to my heart. You know, honoring God
-
and fearing Him, but most importantly, always converse with the Lord. Always,
-
always talk to the Lord, whether it's buying clothes, cooking
-
a meal, sweeping the floor, doing your work in the office.
-
Always have a conversation so that you will hear the Lord,
-
you will recognize his voice. You will need something really
-
really important. If you do not know the voice, you
-
will think it's your voice, the devil talking to you.
-
You will think it's the Lord's voice. But if you
-
have that relationship with the Lord, you will recognize and
-
you'll be able to differentiate God's voice, your voice, and
-
the enemy's voice. Who is telling you what No one
-
can lie to you. So converse with the Lot in
-
everything that you do. Don't give up conversing with the Lot.
