  1. You're listening to a message to go from acts church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your day.

  3. But today we're gonna talk about prayer. Howard right, we

  4. always assume that people know how to pray. Think about it.

  5. We always assume that people know how the worship just

  6. because the lyrics is up there. We know, we know

  7. what it means. We know what it means the worship.

  8. We know what it means to be a believer.

  9. We know what it.

  10. Means with the word tighter and maybe the label excuse me,

  11. or use the word labor the tighter Christian. Right, this

  12. this assumption and just because it's coffee beans, I'm sorry

  13. applying this to my coffee message. Just because it's coffee beans, right,

  14. people assume they know how to make it, or presume.

  15. So I asked a question, what you do?

  16. Why? Why you have this trick?

  17. Grind is, Oh, this is how people sell it here

  18. and check my Oh by I met some amazing people, right,

  19. I don't know. Everyone seems to have a coffee farm

  20. up there. I met Seriously, everyone seems I have a

  21. coffee fup.

  22. I met a brother or my mom has a coffee farm.

  23. I said, oh, fantastic. No, it's not here, it's the chang.

  24. Okay cool. My sister also have coffee farm. How many

  25. sisters do you have?

  26. Two?

  27. Do you mean you got three individuals in your family

  28. have coffee firm?

  29. Oh yeah, oh there we three of us.

  30. Three of us have three separate coffee farm.

  31. Wow.

  32. Then my two sisters run the own cafes. Oh one cafe,

  33. no age. Sister got about four cafes under her name.

  34. I went like so, and then I met another brother.

  35. I also got a coffee farm up there. All these

  36. people are very good, I say, examine. We also have

  37. plantations outside the church.

  38. All right, we have come, go right.

  39. We have different days we have I think dragon fruit

  40. right now with ex money, cow reason our famire. But

  41. I share this to you because sometimes sometimes in our life, friends,

  42. we know, we think that we know what prayers are about,

  43. all right, when we put up things like prayer power.

  44. Oh I know what it is, okay, I know what

  45. is a prayer.

  46. It's like our mind gets turned off after that, but

  47. we won't receive the full message.

  48. Next, like says in XT.

  49. Chapter two, words for the two, they continue stepfastly in

  50. the Postle's doctrine fellowship, breaking up brea and in prayer.

  51. Come on, they continue, step fastly. You can only make

  52. things to become part of your lifestyle when you believe.

  53. It's just see this. You can only make things part

  54. of your life when you believe. For example, it takes

  55. an encouragement from someone you love, someone you trust, to

  56. tell you that waking up early in the morning is

  57. good about the instruction or the messaging could be good. Auntie,

  58. you believe it, You're going to try once, twice, maybe

  59. three times. Then you fall back to your previous lifestyle

  60. of I don't believe in waking up. I was talking

  61. to someone the other day that you know, we uh

  62. had we had the morning meetings. Yeah, I say, I

  63. woke at fought the tea. I slept about what I

  64. woke up for. Oh did you use to alarm body?

  65. Just wakes up?

  66. Decided to just say, hey, wake up, the wake up

  67. for the tea. The morning I don't have I don't

  68. have a charge out of baby by'm doing morning. She's

  69. really uh my morning. She vis this wake up in

  70. the morning. I have to make about one litter of

  71. coffee for myself and for my wife. So that's that's

  72. my that's my routine in the morning, right every morning, grying,

  73. grying about hunger, hunger, grammar beans and make coffee. Then

  74. I what time do you wake up? How do you

  75. look at fought the tea. I woke at six. It'snother

  76. snoozing from six a m. Until six forty five, from

  77. six and six forty five, Suthers snoozing. You will only

  78. make tastes to be part of your lifestyle when you

  79. believe the early the early disciples, the early Disciples come on.

  80. Believe in Jesus, believe in the message, believe in the Word,

  81. believe in the structure. That's why they country is stepped

  82. fastly many times in our Christian word. No matter how

  83. much we can say that worship is good, I think

  84. you understand what worship really does to the spiritual atmosphere.

  85. We will now truly worship.

  86. They say reading the Bible is good, and in fact

  87. it is good. But many times, friends, we open the

  88. Word to the how say to the part and the

  89. portion we like to read? Part said, we don't like

  90. to read. We skip it, chapters we don't like to read.

  91. That we hurry too, We read but don't really read.

  92. And they see this, we read, but do not really

  93. read what happens tress, we will not get the fullness

  94. of the message. You may like church, but when it

  95. comes to the message, you don't really like. So you're

  96. you're hearing but not really hearing. Right, and that's what happens.

  97. You know what? What out of me? What is the

  98. end result?

  99. Nobody means we ourselves. We can invest our two hours

  100. in church for example, right can go away from church,

  101. no transformation, no change.

  102. No the word is that knowing more? Who crisis?

  103. So the apostles really friends, the disciples really held on

  104. to the doctrine. The next like, we don't just believe

  105. in the power of prayer? Come on, and what do

  106. you mean you don't just believe in the power. A

  107. lot of people believe in the power of prayer. I

  108. can guarantee you you're believe in prayer and friends, we

  109. all do believe in prayer.

  110. Prayer is what powers us. But there's the difference.

  111. One is from a doc trying to position what does

  112. it mean by dad? Friends, there's a concept we just believe,

  113. but there's an other part to make it haby true.

  114. Come on, there's a part that just believe then the

  115. other part is to make it a living reality. God

  116. wants us to have both to understand the power of prayer,

  117. to know prayer works, and the other part to actually pray. Really,

  118. the other part is to actually pray many times. Friends,

  119. we advise people when someone shared with us the problem,

  120. pray to God.

  121. Why not?

  122. Majority of course you say you prayer, you had the life,

  123. you prayer right, you pray, all right, But but have

  124. you ever caught yourself? Sometimes even we ourselves don't even

  125. have a lifestyle of that.

  126. Now, I'm not asking us to be intercess.

  127. Okay, lock yourself in the room for a one hour

  128. wake up early in the morning. No, I'm not asking

  129. you the habit first. Okay, ten minutes the habit. Habit first.

  130. We're not the habit. Friends, We will never start. We

  131. won't even believe. We won't want one more.

  132. But God wants to speak to us today to remind us. Church.

  133. You understand prayer works, you understand worship works, You understand the.

  134. Bible is real.

  135. But to believe, to make it a lifestyle is what

  136. God is after Amen, a right. So prayer is not

  137. an event. That's why prayer service is not just an event. Friends,

  138. it's not an event. And if you just put it

  139. as an event, for example, what happened is that we'll

  140. come for a prayer service and you will leave after

  141. that believing we have done our duties, really believing we

  142. have done our duties. Just like diet is not a

  143. one time event. My wife always likes to remind me. Yeah,

  144. it's not about the one occasion you eat fried chicken.

  145. It's not the one occasion that you eat fried chicken.

  146. You must have a lifestyle of less oil, less oils,

  147. let's salt less, sugar less everything.

  148. Then let's food. I really wanted to do it experience

  149. my wife.

  150. You know, she was just telling me, you can live

  151. healthy and stuff like, okay for next two months. Okay,

  152. let's team everything. Let's team the chicken breast. Let's team

  153. or the reggie. Okay, without putting any salt, any pepper.

  154. Let's see who can last. I really wanted to test

  155. my wife, okay, because at the end of the day,

  156. all nice.

  157. So you need to lecture.

  158. You know what I mean, you lecture people. Wait, easy, way,

  159. easy lecture. Let's do it together there. But see, friends,

  160. it's not just an event. It's not just the one

  161. time event. Right now, when I have to tell my wife,

  162. you know about something, you have to correct her in

  163. certain things. I didn't do it today with it's not today.

  164. Your behavior is very consistent. We'll be married for twenty

  165. two years, really, and I know this is your pattern

  166. of life. So I've been tracking you since the day

  167. we got married. Oh, I've been keep picking scores since

  168. the day we got married. Right, she's thinking event based.

  169. I say, no, it's a lifestyle, right yo, this man, I.

  170. Don't have enough. I say, it's not your purchase last month. Okay,

  171. it's not.

  172. Okay, all your all your consistent, consistent purchasers throughout the years.

  173. Let me go to your wardrobe, make a hungry ring

  174. git huh. Every time you go to Unico you go

  175. into the buggins. Actually, oh, this is used to be

  176. having twenty begin No, it's only thirty ring kid, She yes,

  177. thirty ring gate times twelve. It's child sixty. See never

  178. married never never never marry of finance guy. All right,

  179. your counting in your counting? Oh everything, so first praise

  180. even come on of the melody or centers. We say,

  181. we put the text on our decision. What it means

  182. by that. Every time there's a major decision, and most

  183. time I pray about it. Have you ever used before

  184. that I pray about it. I pray about it. So

  185. many people come out there. I pray about it. Right

  186. the moment we use, I pray about it.

  187. What happens?

  188. No more conversation. Really, it's like one of those who

  189. no reverse carts. Draw four right, your play just in

  190. case I have to ask this. So maybe different generation,

  191. maybe the older one is or the sorry sorry okay,

  192. can talk about those cal cuts all right?

  193. Anyway, draw four right.

  194. Let's way, No more conversation because I pray to God.

  195. Who are we to say that you really pray?

  196. Me? Think about that?

  197. We know one first, we know we know when the

  198. person say they really pray, we do. We don't know

  199. what because a person who really prais exhibit a different lifestyle.

  200. And really sometimes you just make a statement. I pray, yes,

  201. maybe they did. I would you imagine right now, right Monday,

  202. you share with us. I got this major cross road,

  203. life changing and either hear or taking a posting overseas.

  204. It's but I want I want God's best for my life.

  205. Everybody wants to gods best for your life right Monday,

  206. right Thursday.

  207. These shoes made really.

  208. I say that from Monday to Thursday, when we could

  209. your prayer get answer the Monday and that they request

  210. or rather that that that that fortunately did not just

  211. come on Monday. Some people just say Monday came Monday,

  212. prayer about it Thursday. This should made you really answer

  213. given you readly. The question here is is that did

  214. we really labor.

  215. In prayer or was it just over a meal? God?

  216. This decision guide me.

  217. Ten seconds full star threads is not because a longer

  218. prayer your your think will be hurt and answered. But

  219. I want you to understand the weight of some of

  220. the decas should we make. It is very weighty, huge responsibility,

  221. the bigger the responses.

  222. It shouldn't be labored just slightly longer in prayer. Right,

  223. isn't it true?

  224. If you're if if something will have my age, I'm

  225. fifty one this year, I will ask a question really

  226. in recently you're fifty one? Now, what do you do

  227. to keep young? Pilati? First first time someone asked mer

  228. that did pilatis is not to keep young?

  229. Okay?

  230. Is you could see my body ship and my side

  231. to do Pilatis threads it is crazy, no yoga.

  232. So what do you do? Keep young?

  233. I say, you eat, you eat, you eat well, you

  234. have a wife. The next you you show young and

  235. it's kidding, all right. She doesn't make me.

  236. She just gently want me to eat properly.

  237. You need right now first, it's you must understand the

  238. wit of the decision. The wit of the decision, really

  239. the demands of me to take a longer time and

  240. to label in prayer, not just I'll pray about it.

  241. Especially Live Partner, what do you want to pursue? Your

  242. other leaders don't believe on this day. Oh, shy, shy, shy, right,

  243. I said, because of the h ide said, I said, Lord,

  244. anyone that comes my way, Lord from some money, I'm

  245. sious even one won't disagree.

  246. Hellelujah amen ah.

  247. Life Partner, Ah, I just want to share this use

  248. true story that people come up to us. Elder tells,

  249. tells me on Tuesday, confirmed by Friday tells me on Tuesday,

  250. or that I'm contruting this girl. Then Friday confirmed.

  251. I were like, Okay, it's your choice, no problem.

  252. I mean that you will disagree on but we can

  253. we know what journey it would be in front of them.

  254. You Tuesday, you tell Friday confirmed?

  255. So in between is what come on?

  256. I want you to in between it's it's it's it's.

  257. A lot of phone calls with each other.

  258. Now we've got a lot of phone calls each other,

  259. a lot of exchanging of notes to each other. First

  260. your heart really sold out to each other already, friends,

  261. just buying type of tree day to the after letting

  262. you know that it is confirmed. So we need to

  263. understand that, friends, that prayer, friends, is not just a

  264. one time statement. Why whatever we just say just two

  265. how what's the right way? They say, just to uh

  266. get the leaders of our bag, just to feel good

  267. about ourselfs. But really sometimes we can come to a

  268. place whereby prayer is just a statement.

  269. Amen. Now next night, play scepter four wards sixty seven.

  270. We all know this scripture.

  271. All right, be anxious for nothing, but in everything by

  272. prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. Let your request be mid

  273. non to God. Come on there, you could request be

  274. mid now to God and God let me see.

  275. Just let me just and the peace of God. The

  276. supposes understand him.

  277. We've got your heart and mind through Christ Jesus all right,

  278. So number one in your in your book, the gift

  279. of prayer, right, friends, prayer is in the greatest how

  280. to pronounce it, I'm not very good for a shoe cool.

  281. I think ifeverell. I think you can you can go

  282. get it all right. But anyway, it's a genuine kind

  283. of prayer whereby you worship lot, friends, you worship Lot,

  284. you praise Him for who he is. Even before we

  285. start praying, we need to know that God is sovereign,

  286. almighty that nothing is possible with him. First, even before

  287. you start praying, bringing up your need, we need to

  288. reframe how we see things. Because some place we can

  289. come to pray whereby the problem is bigger than God.

  290. Come on that the situation is bigger than who who is?

  291. You know?

  292. In our church, earladies of church, I think from our

  293. wrong year. The fourth year of the fifth year, a

  294. parent came in, a missionary parent came in.

  295. His son was caught. Uh. I was caught by the police.

  296. He mixed with the wrong crowd and uh and because

  297. it's American, they wanted really to make an example of him,

  298. especially with our local enforcement. He went to prison detention

  299. in Puchong. That came up to us distort missionary for

  300. the longest time doing Biber translation. And it says that

  301. I got to pray for my son. I got to

  302. pray for my son. He didn't, he did not meet

  303. the grammich for death penalty. But he had some or

  304. his friend had some. But he was he was in

  305. a place whereby he was in despair, didn't know what

  306. to do. Came to church we had back then we

  307. had forty days forty days of prayer. So we had

  308. forty days every night the church was open for prayer.

  309. He came every night, every night, he came every night,

  310. he came every night.

  311. He came, open the world and begin to prayer.

  312. Ask God, God, please have mercy on my son, Have

  313. mercy on my son. The church prayer along with him.

  314. You know, sometimes really said, you know, parents give a

  315. lot to serve the Lord. Parents give up, really sacrifice

  316. a lot to serve God. Yet sometimes and then.

  317. We go after the children, really go after the children,

  318. mess mess them up.

  319. So by the end of the forty days friends, the

  320. police had to let him go based on technicality, technicality, technicality,

  321. there was a technicality.

  322. There in the evidence. He was released from prison.

  323. They did some stuff at the prison because again they

  324. want to make an example from him. The moment he

  325. got released, friends parents' book of flight, all of them

  326. just left the country the moment.

  327. The next day, next day.

  328. The police was asking that, or rather the they were

  329. asking that how come he was let go? They really

  330. like you understand or in Malaysia, if you want to

  331. do something, they could how come he was let go

  332. and they really wanted to make an example out from him.

  333. I want you to know this that three of friends,

  334. it's not just praying this rewards. But if you understand

  335. this scripture Philipishupter four, the word prayer that by bye,

  336. by prayer is really first worship Him because our hearts

  337. could be so filled with worthy without with just being

  338. over with situation.

  339. When you are in the position of being overwhelmed, what.

  340. Happens when you're in the position of hopelessness whip first, friends,

  341. It fills your heart with fear that become pray. It

  342. feels your heart in a place whereby we can't even

  343. know that God will come true for us, and we

  344. pray things from a position whereby surrounding to the problem

  345. first then exalting God.

  346. So bye, by prayer, friends, is putting God. God, you

  347. are the more, you're bigger.

  348. And that's why in Hebrews chapter eleven, verse six, without faith,

  349. it's impossible to please. But he who comes to God

  350. must believe. Friends, right, prayer is coming before God. We

  351. must believe who it is. God will always bring you

  352. to a place whereby to cause you to believe in him.

  353. He would.

  354. For me was my operation when I had to put

  355. my stent on my heart, lying down there, I was

  356. looking at the bright lights, taking to myself at for

  357. the five I could have died at for the five.

  358. You know I could have You know, I would say

  359. I crat out very differently. I could have a strong

  360. for the five.

  361. But for the five.

  362. I was lying down there just all in my mind

  363. was just this reciting some strainy tree and the operation table.

  364. They're just reciting some sprainy tree. The lost my shepherd,

  365. I shall not have been in one. Though I walked

  366. through the radio show with death, I shall not fear.

  367. And God just reminded me and I felt got peace.

  368. And sure enough when when I was when I when

  369. he was doing the stand on me, he said, so

  370. someone needs to know that, uh, there are some other

  371. things we discovered insight near to your heart are trees

  372. there that requires some attached. Since we cut you open

  373. and ready, we must see what we can do. And

  374. went like wow, just like fixing your card. Yeah, I

  375. fixing your CARDO. After you open up things, you want

  376. to fix something or the other things you discover along

  377. the way, they they fixing the Since we cut you

  378. open the radio with my as well. Right, I went

  379. like silver, I think last year I had after five years,

  380. I did my stand five I did my city scan.

  381. Last year I had to go and they have to

  382. put a scope in uh to check on my stead

  383. the time. It was funny because there was a possibility

  384. there was another narrowing, so check it there.

  385. You see.

  386. It's very funny because I just have there with this

  387. very funny say this one. We won't do anything. We

  388. won't do anything. But if you few chest pain, I

  389. come and see us. I want to tell you by time,

  390. a few chest pain like that, but that really though,

  391. you know that if you feel discomfort, chests been around you.

  392. Hear right, come and see us.

  393. Okay to myself, like my few chest beIN it really

  394. really feel like the chest pain you could have diet

  395. really were like, oh, that's that's so real, assuring.

  396. The same time because I was cut open and saying

  397. it's certain. Radio.

  398. So we also discovered this, like fixing cup number two.

  399. We also discover other things there that you know, it

  400. looks that you have some things.

  401. Along the walls of your archery.

  402. I'm like, you must not just cot me open someone

  403. and just check whatever. So but it's there's nothing to

  404. worry about. I think should be okay on. But since

  405. you are there, we see what how hell can clean

  406. up a bit?

  407. Friends?

  408. Here comes to God must believe lying at the table there, friends,

  409. I want to let you know, one of the things

  410. that's really discouraging is not that you're being operated on,

  411. is to hear that you're just one of the patient.

  412. And so I was lying down there, Oh I just

  413. heard was the nurses asking each other, Hey, ninety, who's

  414. going top our lunch? Yeah? Who's going to pack lunch afterwards?

  415. If you are on the table there, friends at the table,

  416. they're just lying out. They're looking at the lights there,

  417. And I mean, I understand our friends, this is part

  418. of their job.

  419. Okay, they see it a thousand times. Radio. I'm just anyway,

  420. and you're just lying out there.

  421. Yeah, after who's going Who's goed to the I'm not

  422. lying down there, hey, guys, please be competsion.

  423. I'm lying out here. I can hear you guys talking.

  424. Like if let's say something happened to me on the

  425. table on the table right of sounama Ti, I just

  426. want to I'm like just lying down there like then

  427. when when when when the when the surgeon came. The

  428. doctor came and was started operating me. Yeah, first says

  429. it put all this equipment mon not very good, the

  430. way the place where he put his hand to stable

  431. and this this then then all this is on sample.

  432. Samp I went like, friends, don't you think at the

  433. very moment, once you hear all these friends, it works

  434. on you. Come on, it works on you. You you

  435. at the very moment, you feel a bit like ah, right,

  436. feel scared, tumor you know the slight we got up

  437. perature all the time. Right there after you hear some

  438. of these things, you wish you could just fix on

  439. your own.

  440. Right, it's one of those things that things are spoiling

  441. the house. You fix it on your own.

  442. You can't your you are you basically put your life

  443. with someone else's hand, who may or may not have

  444. the best interests. I say, the best interest. You'll try

  445. the best. But you understand what I'm trying to say.

  446. The only person save yourself is you, right lye down there.

  447. All you have in the right that very moment is God, God, Oh,

  448. come true for you. That's why it starts to be

  449. prayer first before supplication, and prayer, prayer first, because at

  450. that very moment, friends, all we can think of is

  451. just wishing how big God is really?

  452. How big God is? That God is in control.

  453. If it cause your home, costs your home, but you're

  454. going to go out in a good way. But yet

  455. if it sustain you, there must be a reason. There

  456. must be a reason. Friends, I want to encourage your friends.

  457. The moment whereby you felt distressed, Oh well, worship, pray,

  458. communicate with God God, I mean distressed right now. But

  459. I want just want to focus my attention on you.

  460. I want to focus my heart on you. I want

  461. to focus my soul towards you. Then after you bring

  462. your supplication that this this is the other word. You

  463. bring your supplication, friends, specific prayer, because after you actually

  464. worship God, you have the right perspective. What happened is

  465. that you pray spirit. Let prayers your prayer stoop from

  466. the be a position, from the position of fear of doubt,

  467. but from a position of belief. Friends, So if you

  468. enter the realm of spirit, will be led to praise

  469. Spirit that prayers. Having confidence, friends, come on, having confidence

  470. in God very important for us.

  471. Having this confidence in God. Our trip to chain myn

  472. was supposed to be.

  473. We're supposed to fly for on Thursday, that flag or

  474. cancer floor on Friday.

  475. I remember pass just saying this.

  476. There must be a reason, you know why, God has

  477. just cut one day shot for this trip.

  478. Land down there. We didn't three always have to be

  479. in church the rerival meeting the next day.

  480. Passa just came up to me, okay, since you are here,

  481. since you are here, and changed my with me and said,

  482. could you take twenty minutes to share about discipleship, no

  483. preparation beforehand over the breakfast, since you're here for the

  484. seauin right after, say you get to church.

  485. Okay, share from.

  486. Your position, from your discipleship is all about now if

  487. it's very different, friends, when we share your family here,

  488. you know me, I know you right, it's very different.

  489. But when you share in front of someone else you

  490. have not met, sometimes you get worried. It works on

  491. your heart. Remember, say God, if you want me to share,

  492. just share right. I want to encourage you friends, when

  493. you have confidences, to go God. If you can use anyone,

  494. just use use me. We print those prayers before when

  495. we were young. Did we God put you in the

  496. place like that. You're gonna say that, Oh I can't, No,

  497. I won't.

  498. So worship we frame our thoughts.

  499. Supplication reminds us what we need to pray for, not

  500. from a position of fear, from a position of faith.

  501. Next light, we can be a church and still go

  502. to the motion of prayer. Come on, this is the

  503. point that we do. Can be in church, we still

  504. go to the motion of prayer. You can be in church,

  505. we say, go through and this is what happens. Okay,

  506. we see to each other. I'll pray about it. Let's

  507. pray about it. I'll pray for you next night. By

  508. adding the statement I'll pray about it, I major decision

  509. of our lives. We something can justify the decision we

  510. are making by adding the statement I'll pray about it,

  511. or something if we can just say I'll pray for you,

  512. we can justify our action. And that's why sometimes we

  513. go through the motion of what prayer is, we cheapen

  514. the words of what prayer is.

  515. Right. I have a friend not in some money.

  516. Who say he loves his wife a lot. I say, great,

  517. it's good to love your wife. Every husband say amen,

  518. good time.

  519. Me say ah, I say it's good for a husband

  520. to love wife. Right. Amen.

  521. So this guy say he loves his wife a lot,

  522. loves his lot. I say, oh great, great, I say,

  523. any will see what's your plan? Oh, plan to go

  524. for dinner? Go for dinner for anyone here?

  525. Oh, I say, go? Where do you better? Take her?

  526. Foot court? He's from down south? Okay, that smalling the island.

  527. Foot court, I say, brother, is your annual sire, it's

  528. not your normal dinner?

  529. Okay, okay, what you mean?

  530. Take her to a proper place, Okay, I would Okay,

  531. maybe a proper place, all right, Italian? Maybe Italian proper place.

  532. Book a restaurant, okay, the white board resturant. They all went, Okay,

  533. I saw the picture that after that, I have to

  534. call him after that, whether I swore your wife really

  535. dressed up for the dinner, but you went with T shirt,

  536. baseball cap and jeans. I see if you see you

  537. love your wife's so much dress upla, it's only once

  538. a year away. I'm not asking, I'm not I'm not

  539. asking to fancy bow tie, cold jack.

  540. Just dress up a bit because.

  541. Your this is not your average dinner once a year

  542. and it was you just dressed up with your wife

  543. dressed up.

  544. I saw the picture, said, whether were you doing.

  545. With the baseball care with the talent restaurant? But do

  546. you this is not your meeting of your friends. See

  547. a lot of times we see that we we love,

  548. but we're not willing to pay the price. Come on,

  549. we love, but I'm not feeling the so we praise. There,

  550. I'll pray for you.

  551. Come on, she did? He may always really period? How

  552. may I always remember? Right?

  553. If Derek, she would be a problem or there. I'm

  554. singer for so long already. Hey, this is a real issues.

  555. Okay. I don't know why.

  556. Maybe one people come up to me and just and

  557. change my I'm thirty one, I'm singer. No guy in church,

  558. very direct, I'm like, don't let me take a picture

  559. for exce money.

  560. Let me show you.

  561. But anyway, come up there after I look at that,

  562. oh therey way, I'll pray for you, right, come on,

  563. have you done that before that?

  564. I'm just sorry.

  565. I'm thinking, yeah, because I scared your falling asleep. You

  566. all love ba exe and okay, so there she changed

  567. me a problem and I'm singer and started. I said,

  568. I'll pray for you later election there you and you

  569. get you get your car, You get your car, You

  570. get your car, You get your car, right, you get

  571. your car, you.

  572. Go for lunch.

  573. You actually forgot what you see to Derek, come on

  574. throughout the whole week, there is no even pray for

  575. hipts Oh no, first, n't you you scheduled to speak by.

  576. S money, Derek? How are you just singer? Right? Then?

  577. You know what happens? Don't we pray for you? We

  578. never pray. We can go to the motions Anders if

  579. you see, we pray about it and do what happens. Right.

  580. I sit there there, I pray for you. He feels

  581. good because someone is actually praying. But on the other

  582. flip side, I'm on this side. I don't forgot why

  583. I say to him, really, and there is no integrity

  584. in our prayer, you know statement, Come on next, like,

  585. if you truly pray about it, it can be seen

  586. in the way we carry our daily life if.

  587. We truly pray about it.

  588. Because if you truly pray about it, the next I

  589. see there, I would just say, you know, I'll be

  590. praying for you, because you can fold up by changing

  591. the way you say. I have been praying for you.

  592. It's not all pray for you again and many times

  593. as a believer, as a Christian, came wan and carriages you.

  594. When we see the summer, I'll pray for you. Be committed. Otherwise,

  595. don't say.

  596. It's just very easy.

  597. I'll pray for you there after it sounds really good.

  598. Come on, who doesn't want prayer?

  599. Right? Whoever? Reject our people? No, please don't pray for me.

  600. Please please don't pray for me.

  601. Okay, everything you'll prove for me, something happens, okay, no, no, no, right,

  602. good or bad. I'll pray for you, regent, ten more minutes,

  603. I'll pray for you, all right, right, don't do that, friends,

  604. don't do that.

  605. Don't if you want to commit, commit to pray all right. Next.

  606. Some people say they have prayer about it, yet give

  607. glory to themselves. All right, I really a prayer. Some

  608. people say, I pray about it. So by the time

  609. you overcome all the obstacles, you o come all the challenges.

  610. You say, you know what, I felt that I was

  611. led to do this.

  612. There is no.

  613. Giving glory to God. There is no lea say that

  614. God give me the wisdom. There is nothing and oh

  615. they just say at the other day, Wow, I survive.

  616. Look at me, I'm champion. Because if you truly have

  617. prayed about it, friends can just say this, it will

  618. really change your life. You will rush into decision when

  619. friends you won't. You won't because sometimes God takes over

  620. things happen right, you will not rush into decision.

  621. Number one.

  622. Number two is this that when you really pray about it,

  623. you be at peace to matter what the outcome is

  624. because you know what it's not the outcome.

  625. You know that God is still in control. God is

  626. still in control.

  627. And many times now in our lives strengths, we want

  628. to push things and get this our own way. We

  629. want our way because if God answers the way we want,

  630. we know that God's real. But if God give us

  631. a different answer, different answer.

  632. That what we want. It's still an answer by him,

  633. so we should.

  634. Surrender really the results to him and we pray God,

  635. you will be done right next night. So being prayer power, friends,

  636. prayers not event. We don't just see it event because

  637. some people will prayer service just an event, hence choosing

  638. come or not to come. Now, friends understand, logistically understand, Okay,

  639. I have to say this just before answers are we

  640. will stay nearby here you stay having an hour for

  641. five minutes, okay, the seventh say this was okay, But

  642. can you just say this when we can come for

  643. prayer service on when we can? For example, like let's

  644. say this commit Tuesday is peer service, and so happened

  645. that this Tuesday is also a public holiday, for example,

  646. something like.

  647. A public holiday. We don't you want to come far

  648. traffic jam?

  649. I understand traffic jam during the normal days, but when

  650. we can come on when you can?

  651. Would you come when you can? Would you come along?

  652. Because a lot of times we say that we won't

  653. come because of every other reason.

  654. I understand.

  655. Now a problem happens naturally, work and everything like that,

  656. But when that so happened, if the prayers service falls

  657. on the day it's a public holiday. For example, would

  658. you remove the reason and just say about our shock,

  659. because if it's just even friends, you can always up

  660. to miss We missed birthdays even before some man we

  661. forget our nursery before we forget our child's birthday before

  662. right happen to friends, because it's event basement. So therefore, friends,

  663. if we truly believe, we want to come together with

  664. other people that believe as well to seek the Lord.

  665. Our early days of the church, friends, early days of

  666. the church, we came together to pray, ask God for guidance,

  667. especially say I give you six months you have to

  668. look for a new place. Six months you have looked

  669. for a new place. Friends, we were majority campracility, don't

  670. know what to do and stuff like. We just pray

  671. God to leaders to guide us. So from a shop

  672. lot we went to summit. I was thinking, oh, finally

  673. we went to a shopping mall. Fantastic, okay, expecting a

  674. place whereby his descern, you know, the only place they

  675. could offer us was is that nobody wanted whereby swish

  676. water was looking from the ceiling right dripping down couples.

  677. Really dir tea, that is it the space on one

  678. entrance only right, and they say that this day we

  679. went to you chip one ring it for scrafit. Then

  680. I was just scraf still ten thousand ring. It was

  681. so explensive. First we didn't what to do. But you know,

  682. how do you make decisions like that? Friends, because whatever

  683. decision you commit to affects the whole church. You know

  684. how weighted those decisions are. Not I want you to

  685. understand that reading the decision the lumber.

  686. We need to pray. So if we treat the leadership,

  687. just treat this as if my persent.

  688. Hey, guys, let's just pray right, thinking that they know

  689. how to push people for financing. No, so we need

  690. to land on the place. By God, you are in control.

  691. We believe this is your church. You'll come to first.

  692. Amen.

  693. Next, like if we really extra power forward to see

  694. all hope that vision come to true, we need to pray.

  695. We need to pray ex money. How how would you

  696. grow pray? I shared this to be we are my wife.

  697. List the men in group and for the longest time,

  698. they have not seen newcomers for the past six months.

  699. I think last year's September they moved a new place

  700. even then people say excited, Hey, but no no one

  701. from Taylor's college because they meet in Taylor's. So they

  702. decided during the yeous U turn dus un say enough

  703. is enough. We will pray, pray for every seat to

  704. be filled, pray for people who come down right almost

  705. every week or newcomers now one one newcomers and everything.

  706. I think last week, last week, last week, last weeks

  707. or two weeks ago, someone's mom gave their life to Jesus.

  708. So they say that we want one, we.

  709. Want we want every every week to see salvation in

  710. church that after they took it to that, not see that.

  711. Why do we only pray for new souls in church?

  712. Let's pray for new visitors, for homes, for homes. So

  713. I think two weeks ago, if the last month there

  714. was a home they had regarded about three new visitors,

  715. for new visitors, pre believers and stuff like just coming

  716. for homes and to.

  717. What you know that prayer does work.

  718. If we see all the homes that do come to

  719. past rest, we need to pray all right, next night

  720. I got to close ready, all right, prayer.

  721. Reviewers are dependency whether we pray or not.

  722. Reviews who are depending on, come on, whether we pray

  723. or not, reviews who we are depending on.

  724. I was so one time out there.

  725. Because we have new sound system, new sound system. Because

  726. we knew sound system, people will want to come to church, Liza,

  727. we new sound system, people want.

  728. To come to church.

  729. I'm not sure whether you keep the church this morning

  730. because of this amazing facility that we have here.

  731. First of all, it's up at the roof so hot.

  732. Second thing is that only one entrance to me, even

  733. if one live early everybody, everybody's been looking at me.

  734. I'm not sure, friends, because if it was just that first,

  735. if reveals who you're depending on.

  736. So, therefore, friends, every single person who says that I'm

  737. really everyone, every single person who say who prays, is

  738. saying I really need you God.

  739. The moment we stop praying, we stop depending on God.

  740. Come on, leaders, always speak to you right now that

  741. the moment we stop praying, we are saying that I'm

  742. depending on your God. And the dangers sometime or having

  743. our own place is just this. I'm going to close

  744. to you. I think that's only to most lies the

  745. dangers of having our own places. This, this is this

  746. that you went to so much of making this place

  747. your home. You gave you came, you painted, set up

  748. the facility here can already done. The dangerous this is

  749. that sometimes we forget to grow. Now you prepare the bardinary,

  750. right you need to bring in the house. But suddenly

  751. we celebrate. But you know, become the extra minium.

  752. Friends.

  753. The facility is amazing. They have their own garden. How

  754. many chess plank got their own garden? Come on you

  755. you want fresh sellar, just go outside?

  756. Only right? How many chips plug can boast about that? Uh?

  757. The next day?

  758. I know you're fresh ulam. Give me hints fresh ulam

  759. out there? You know hospitalities of la money after that?

  760. Right? Yours is the seller you buy outside? Ours is

  761. just house. The house. We can celebrate the facility more.

  762. Come on than God forgetting that God gives us this

  763. place for a reason, to have more people come to

  764. church to experience His love is forgiveness, to know who

  765. Christ is. We can come to a place with celebrate

  766. everything else. I told pass save on this. Are you

  767. sure I told you I wanted for four times? Are

  768. you sure you want to have your own place? Are

  769. you sure you want to have your own place? The

  770. greatest challenge is not this facility is the greatest challenge.

  771. Is the toilets. The toilets.

  772. I can guarantee you because nobody's different. If this is

  773. the office daily for people here right, this is the

  774. office is a weekend place.

  775. Who's going to clean the toilets?

  776. I ask him, although we will mobilized people took clean,

  777. see you sure or not? I can guarantee you after

  778. the second week. People who just complain really forget it.

  779. I'm not gonna use it.

  780. I told him that.

  781. As a close friends. This how I'm gonna let you

  782. when we pray. When we pray, God's gonna give you

  783. the grace and the strength providing this place for your friends.

  784. Every place got challenges. One he may provide you with

  785. the job. The job is not gonna go come in

  786. and they say, this is a land flow with milk

  787. and honey. Although the land can be flowing with milk

  788. and honey, you still have to carry the provision to

  789. your house. When we pray, friends, we're just saying God,

  790. I need you. When we pray, friends, we are saying God,

  791. I surrender. When we pray church, we're just saying that God,

  792. you're in control. That's like close friends. I'm not sure

  793. where you are with your walk with Christ this morning.

  794. I'm not sure where you are this morning with your

  795. walk with Him. We just have to make sure, friends,

  796. and nothing gets our future. Letting gets our future except

  797. for a relationship with a lot. It's my prayer, friends,

  798. one joint five verse for this is that now these

  799. confidence that we have in Him that if we ask

  800. anything according to his real he will hear us. This

  801. is the confidence that we have that we've asked anything

  802. according to his will, that he will hear us.

  803. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  804. information on our church, please visit as church do Org.

  805. We are also active on Facebook and Instagram. We're believing

  806. that this week is going to be a good week,

  807. a hit for you.

  808. God bless
