  1. You're listening to a message to go from Acts Church.

  2. We hope this message will light up your team.

  3. Today's topic we're gonna talk about faith evident faith evidence.

  4. And I told you know my my chesch plan just

  5. now in the Xperia. I really like this topic. Okay,

  6. I really like this topic, and mainly because I've lived

  7. it right and I'm like, oh, this topic no very

  8. hard to share, of course, hah, you're so confide. Let

  9. me share you why I say that. Okay, if you

  10. got your Bible, so if you please starn to Hebrews

  11. chapter eleven. We're gonna read a bit of scripture and

  12. then we go into it. Uh, and I've got some

  13. stories to share you guys. Okay. So Hebrews chapter eleven,

  14. it says, now, faith is a substance of things hoped

  15. for the evidence of things not seen. For by it,

  16. the elders obtain a good testimony. Amen. By faith, we

  17. understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,

  18. so that the things which are seen were not made

  19. of things which are visible. Amen. So faith this talks

  20. about faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for

  21. and the evidence of things not seen. So let's learn

  22. a little bit about faith. Uh here do you know that?

  23. So just just use you guys as an example. You

  24. don't know what faith is? Right? Do you know that

  25. you have faith? You know? I believe that you have

  26. faith because you're here. Let me ask you a question

  27. here you're answer here. Anybody here saw Jesus die in

  28. a cross for you? Anybody here you saw Jesus like

  29. you explicitly saw Jesus die on the cross for you?

  30. God not. Don't have right? Everybody? How how are you believe?

  31. Why do you believe? It was the word of God's return? Here?

  32. You see right? By faith, we understand that the worlds

  33. were not framed by the worlds were framed by the

  34. word of God. So we understand the word of God.

  35. Therefore we believe. Therefore we have faith that Jesus died

  36. on the cross for us. Amen. So you guys have faith.

  37. Everybody here have faith? Look at neyhbody say you faith? Okay?

  38. By being here and by believing, you know, you might

  39. have different More specific stories are like, oh why do

  40. you believe? Of course my friend is or I experience

  41. goose bumbs. I hear Christians say that a lot. So

  42. then every time they feel goose bumbs, they say it's

  43. a holy spirit. Sometimes we skettle so we feel goosebumps.

  44. Not so I get very like, oh okay, you're sure. No,

  45. it's it's just because that can be different reasons. Why

  46. you know all my my auntie reach out to me. No, no,

  47. by But you have faith, amen. So it is by

  48. faith that you're here. Okay. So I would say you

  49. understand what faith is because you believe in something that

  50. you didn't see. Right. It's the substance of things. Hope

  51. for you? What do you hope for you? Hope that

  52. Jesus will save you? Love? Correct? Not right? And it's

  53. the evidence of things not seeing. What's the evidence? This

  54. is the evidence. So when we say faith evidence, we're

  55. talking about not just a faith like oh I have faith,

  56. But no, it is in action, it says here. Faith

  57. is active obedience. Right, faith is active obedience. We also

  58. know that in faith he rules eleven six says, but

  59. without faith, it is impossible to please him. For he

  60. who comes to God must believe that he is and

  61. that He is a reward for those who diligently seek him.

  62. So we also know that if you've got no faith.

  63. You can't please God. Okay, and we all want to

  64. please God. You got no faith, you can't please God.

  65. If you read Hebrews chapter eleven, you also read that

  66. different ones did different things because of their faith in God. Right,

  67. right able provided a better sacrifice. Abraham believed, you know,

  68. different different people in the Bible. It also tells me

  69. that faith is something that is not Yes, faith is personal,

  70. you believe in it. But faith is also something depending

  71. on our people, your your cash. That not right because

  72. it says in the Bible that we are so surrounded

  73. by a cloud or winnesses. Know how are we here today?

  74. It was someone else's faith that caused me to be

  75. here today. I remember my parents sharing me a story

  76. about how they receive Christ. And you know our parents

  77. might have this story if you are a second third

  78. generation Christian, that a missionary came all the way from

  79. don't nowhere, Scotland.

  80. Lie.

  81. I heard you know us. I think my parents are us,

  82. came here, reached out to them, planted church with the past.

  83. No came out. My dad got saved, my mom got

  84. saved to the ministry, and then they joined another person

  85. and planted the church. See it's why that man's fave

  86. that I am here now a believer. It is by

  87. my father's faith that I believe in. Why I believe

  88. because I see my father pray believe right, So it

  89. is also reliant on another person's fath That also means that.

  90. But of course it's not fully realized influenced by pure's faith.

  91. So I'm just trying to tell you that it is

  92. your faith, yes, but it is also whether people encourage

  93. you to believe more. That's why it is active, friends, right,

  94. Romans ten seventeen says, So then faith comes by hearing,

  95. and hearing by the word of God. So where does

  96. faith come? It comes from God's word. It cannot come

  97. from anywhere else. I can share a very powerful testimony

  98. here about my story. But if it's if it's just

  99. me and my story and there's no God's word, there

  100. is It's not. There's no power in it, friends, there's

  101. no it's just a good story. It's just Oh, I

  102. feel no. But when you hear the word of God,

  103. there is power. Do you know that everything I'm reading

  104. right now to you is the word of God? Right?

  105. It is the word of God that brings our faith.

  106. It is the call what we do. Amen. Faith is

  107. also r I s K is risk. Okay, because let's

  108. let's let's let's let's do a bit of a let's

  109. not be a reflection today. Okay, let's still be a

  110. reflection because without risk, I'm not sure whether it's really

  111. faith or not. Okay, let me ask you a question here. Okay,

  112. think of a time in your Lifelah, go think of

  113. a time in your life where you were encouraged or

  114. you had to step up in faith. It's a step up,

  115. min it's a step up. Right, think of that time.

  116. Let me ask you a question. Was there was everything

  117. sorted when you had to make the decisions? Was it

  118. all laid out for you that you actually had to

  119. step by in faith you know? Or was there uncertainty?

  120. Maybe out of ten things, two things you're not sure

  121. they were quite good at yeah? Right. For a lot

  122. of us who step by in faith, sometimes only two

  123. things you're shirt, eight things you're not sure, or sometimes

  124. even worth one thing you're sure. We just trust God

  125. or God said right everything asked, you're like, I don't know, man,

  126. I know what's gonna happen? Right? Then? On need you

  127. have to stay up in faith? So isn't it risk?

  128. Isn't it risk? Let me ask you another question. Can

  129. we as believers be doctrinally correct? Can we be doctrinally

  130. correct but have an inactive or hidden faith? Don't answer me,

  131. just think about it. Can or not treat question now?

  132. Because God's works got to say something about it? Right,

  133. Because it says in James chapter two, well I would

  134. read second Timothy first having a form of godliness, but

  135. denying it is power. The Bible says in the latter

  136. days there will be those people like that you, So

  137. we can actually be doctrinally correct. Everything correct, everything correct,

  138. everything correct? I follow everything. But faith is hidden. No

  139. one knows, right, James two seventeen eighteen says does also,

  140. But faith by itself, if it does not have works,

  141. it's dead. But someone will say you have faith and

  142. I works. Show me your faith without your works, and

  143. I will show you my faith by my works. Friends,

  144. faith in your life must be alive. So you have

  145. faith by believing in Christ. You do have faith. But

  146. that's not the end goal. Friends, Because faith is alive

  147. every day. We have to make decisions every day. It's

  148. one thing to say I believe in Jesus is another

  149. thing to act like. You don't believe in Jesus, so

  150. you understand what that means or have a separation? Oh,

  151. in church can hallelujah? A man prays, the Lord pray.

  152. All the moment reached outside is all different. You don't

  153. understand the world operates differently. I cannot survive if I

  154. don't operate how the world? Friends? Can you read the Bible?

  155. The Bible constantly talks about don't follow the world constantly

  156. talks about that. Okay, so we know that faith and

  157. works go hand in hand. Faith and works, Okay, it

  158. does well. The sad thing is a lot of people

  159. have faith. You have faith, but we don't have work

  160. to prove it. That is why one of our values

  161. is faith evident. Your catch that faith evident because faith

  162. needs to be evident. There needs to be an expression

  163. of faith. Right going back to Second Timothy, it shows

  164. that we can actually do everything right in our Christian life.

  165. Can can We can get everything right, say the right things,

  166. do everything right, but not experience the power of God.

  167. When we think about faith, we need to connect back.

  168. We believe correct because faith have faith when we have

  169. a be of faith, have a little faith right, got

  170. people have this other line that they say, so by

  171. not in the Bible, Oh take a leap of faith.

  172. For some of us who are super reserves, that one

  173. step is like a leap, right, Okay, but actually by

  174. by then say take a lot of faith. By ways,

  175. say walk in the spirit walk by what? No not jump? No,

  176. don't so fast jump walk. See, God is so good

  177. to us us just to take one step first, then

  178. take the other step. Then take the other step, then

  179. take the other step. What do you know the full

  180. end results? You will know a lot of you here.

  181. I know for those who are close enough to know

  182. your story. I know during the time of struggle, during

  183. the dram a challenge, it was a walk, some even

  184. a crawl. You couldn't even see the end, but you

  185. still walked by faith. That is power in that amen

  186. faith connectpect to believe, obedience, walking with the Holy Spirit.

  187. It's opening up ourselves to God's radma word, you know,

  188. Ramma log us ramdma right. The ability to hear God speak.

  189. Hear Lots of Christians say things like, oh God spoke right,

  190. the ability to take God's spoken work and obeyed right.

  191. Can I can I clarify something to you? God spoken

  192. and ramdma world does not contradict his logos word you

  193. know it doesn't. That's that's how we know whether or

  194. not it is God speaking or something else wiking okay,

  195. or someone else wigaking. That's how we know. And can

  196. I give you another secret, that's how church leaders know

  197. whether God is speaking to you or not. But because

  198. you say godspeak, you can't say anything you know, So

  199. be very careful when we say God spoke to me

  200. that I will do this, we really do you really

  201. read the scripture to fully understand that is this something

  202. that God asks you to do? Be very careful when

  203. we say that. At the same time, not everything. Need

  204. to pray on because I believe if God really wrote

  205. it here, you should do it. Corona honor your father

  206. and mother should do it right, be generous, should do it,

  207. be kind, should do it, love one another to do it. Okay,

  208. let me go for the hard ones. Serf your serve

  209. your unbelieverab boss as though you're serving God. Need to prayer.

  210. Should do it because when you serve them as yourself

  211. like because God honor you, MA see a lot more

  212. harder things are there. They were like I think I

  213. better pray for us. What's difficult? No, we should follow. See.

  214. So this is my my argument. You are if we

  215. cannot follow the written word, right, what if God gives

  216. you a specific word, how do you how are we

  217. going to follow it? If we cannot even follow the

  218. written word that sometimes it's difficult, how are we going

  219. to follow a customized specific word that God is speaking

  220. to you? Half? No, half to you will be tough,

  221. But we step by in faith, right and we open

  222. up to God's red our word. Really, the ability to

  223. hear him speak, the ability to take his word and obey. Okay,

  224. real talk. Is it going to be easy?

  225. No?

  226. But it starts small. Can I show this to you?

  227. It starts small. That's how I say. When I saw

  228. this stopping, I'm going to do I quite well. I've

  229. lived it, friends. Let me give you a bit of

  230. a Let me give you some perspective of why I

  231. say that, Not to say that I'm boasting. That are

  232. a very big time No, no, no, no, no, I've

  233. lived it. I've lived a life of faith. That's why

  234. when I talk to people, I encourage people to live

  235. a life of faith because I see that it works,

  236. and not just that I not just how to say.

  237. It's not just I live it because I know it,

  238. but because I've heard other people go through it. You know,

  239. the wonderful thing about being in our church is that

  240. there's so many stories of faith. A lot of you

  241. here have stories of faith about how you obey God

  242. and then things happen. How you obeyed God and trusted him,

  243. how you stepped out in faith, how you don't have

  244. all the answers but you still went anyway and God

  245. moved right, And then we encourage one another. Can I

  246. share your story? I was reminded of this story about

  247. how I came into full time ministry. You know, I'm

  248. not sure that I've shared this with everybody, but how

  249. I came into full time ministry was so I graduated

  250. as a film and animation student. I say, oh, so,

  251. I can I imagine? I'm here now film and animation

  252. student from Multimedia University, and my goal that time was

  253. to join Pixar and work there. Right. Thank god I

  254. didn't fulfill that goal, because if you know an animator's life,

  255. thank god I didn't. Right. And the first job I

  256. told was animation company called Persists of Vision, and they

  257. do a lot of exciting work for Disney and all friends.

  258. Can I be honest with you, if you are doing

  259. animation here today and you're doing very well, please are

  260. this not for you? Okay? Or if you're thinking about

  261. doing animation, this not for you. So don't be discouraged

  262. by this. But from what I know, doing animation in

  263. nature is factory work because you're not going to get

  264. the big projects. But you're the factory la. Your name

  265. might not even come out in in the credit is

  266. now okay, it's just the way it is. But fun

  267. market to do the work. So during that six months

  268. of job, I had an epiphany from the Lord. Okay,

  269. I say from locks every humla, because I was still

  270. you know, young, aspiring, going to be the next film director,

  271. stuff like that. But then as I was doing my

  272. work in the factory, I had a pyphony, like I

  273. work so hard, I do so much, and all I

  274. do is make people laugh. All I do is entertain people.

  275. All I do is Again now I say, if you're

  276. doing animation and you're passionate about it, it's not for you, Okay.

  277. I had a papny know you know, you know you.

  278. I had a ephony, like I work so hard, just

  279. to make people laugh, just to entertain people. There has

  280. to be something more in life than this. And I

  281. quit my job and that was jobless for six months.

  282. See God knows how to set you up one, you know,

  283. because I was job that was six months. I was

  284. so desperate to find a job. And then lo and

  285. behol I had a job opportunity for ay a right.

  286. A close friend say hey, come, you know, we're looking

  287. for a part time part timer to do video. No

  288. I win my call do video, right, And I'm like, okay, La,

  289. I okay, I say yes Lah, actually desperate And it

  290. was part time. It was not even full time right

  291. at that time. It was under a flat Fish Communications.

  292. That was the first company and we close that and

  293. then now we got at the flat Fisher, but that

  294. was the company I joined and we did an online magazine.

  295. I was doing video for them, right, and it was good,

  296. it was fun, it was meaningful, it was purposeful. But

  297. it was part time. I was surviving on a loalvekeif

  298. I'll tell you how much seven hundred a month?

  299. La?

  300. Did you go? Seriously? And I was saying, clang driving right,

  301. of course, do you have to pay ran? Right? But

  302. the agreement that I had with then my then employer

  303. was you know, my predicament, So I will do part time,

  304. but I will go and look for a job. I

  305. will go and search, I'll go and do interviews. So, friends,

  306. let me tell you how many interviews I did. I

  307. sent up at that time. I got no job. Street

  308. got no indeed, got nothing, you know, got no like

  309. it was. It was like you had to send out

  310. emails and write letters. I sent out to one hundred

  311. and twenty companies to find the job. I went for

  312. seventeen interviews. I was so good at going for interviews

  313. that I asked them questions. That's how good I was.

  314. But I was e sperate. I remember some of the

  315. jobs I applied for while I was working in Aya.

  316. Some of the jobs I applied for, I applied for, uh,

  317. you know, you just not will be closer to your

  318. you know one ONEMA have these screens the screen that

  319. not a lot of happening. Right at that time, they

  320. were just starting up the department. So I met the

  321. manager and they were looking for an animator person. I

  322. went for the interview. I thought I did well. I

  323. didn't the job. Then I went for another interview with

  324. ATV a system producer. They wanted me to work twenty

  325. four to seven, twenty four hours, seven days a week, right,

  326. And I say, yes, I will do it. But why

  327. I hope you younger, and I hope you catch this.

  328. But that extra just one service one on Sunday ten

  329. o'clock to the clock. Can don't touch her? Of course

  330. I need to go to church, I asked in the interview.

  331. I didn't get the job, I said, I worked my

  332. ass off for you. I worked later, so I need

  333. to But the one can don't touch on it? How

  334. a system producer? How cannot lae? Right? I spoke to

  335. the producer it was gonna hire me, she said, I

  336. mean I didn't get a call back. So I was desperate.

  337. I got desperate and after three months of working, and

  338. of course during this time prayer, I prayer asked a

  339. lot for direction. After three months of working, I'm like

  340. still way like restless where wrestlers still trusting Lord? Why

  341. I like the job but they cannot hire me? But

  342. what is the plan that you have for me? All

  343. these questions? Right? Because you believe that a lot will

  344. provide for you and you give you a good job

  345. and stuff like that. I went through that struggle, and

  346. I remember my haarder leader then got me a job

  347. interview with a startup skincare company. I won't use the

  348. name NA right to be a designer, right, proper paying job. Okay.

  349. They were offering one point eight. So I went for

  350. the interview right like say, in between jobs. In between.

  351. I mean it was good. I know, go halfway, go

  352. and find job, then still do whatever I need to

  353. do part time. Went for the interview action war asked

  354. for two thousand war Okay, I know now one point

  355. eight now is like low income, low low wage. No, no, no,

  356. last time it was not low, which was quite high.

  357. So one point that's what two K. On the way

  358. back to the office to a YA and SC, I

  359. call my mom and I was telling her. I was

  360. so excited. Oh Mom, this good job. You know they're

  361. gonna hire me full time. They got plans. You know,

  362. it's a startup. After junior designer, I'm gonna be senior

  363. designer and I'm going to do all these things. You know,

  364. my mom is a wise woman. All the moms are

  365. a wife. She asked me this one question, you really

  366. like what you're doing now right, yes, but they're don't

  367. bring me full story. So how you know I need money?

  368. You know? Okay, okay. Then she asked me this other question.

  369. Do you see yourself as a senior designer for a

  370. skincare company in five years? Hm? Hmm, I said, thanks, Mom,

  371. put on the phone. These treat months of learning lower

  372. than MINIMUMA. You know, God, where are you?

  373. You know?

  374. So I pard, Lord, Lord how I was struggling, and

  375. then God gave me this verse, don't be loot warm

  376. you are a heart or your call? And I said, God,

  377. I know what to do. I went back to my

  378. then manager's office. I went met him. I said, hey,

  379. this is what's going to happen. I was ready three

  380. months in and I was waiting monthly. Are you gonna

  381. hire me? Are you gonna hiar me? And I said,

  382. you know what I'm going to do this. I'm not

  383. going to look for jobs outside. I'm going to commit

  384. until the end of the year, which is the next

  385. three months until the end of the year. And if

  386. at the end of the year beginning of that you

  387. hire me, great. If you don't hire me, I will

  388. move on, so I won't be in between. But ya know,

  389. I was asking for right. I was saying, I'm going

  390. to commit to not do any other thing and to

  391. survive on seal hiring it for the next three months, right,

  392. and to fully commit. So I said okay, and then

  393. she like, of course, sha sure or not? I like, yes, sure,

  394. God said, don't be loot warm. Then after that I

  395. got a phone call miscalled from the lady, the hiring manager.

  396. There was a Friday miscalled me right before, but I

  397. was so busy what I didn't see then because I

  398. decided I didn't answer. Then came the weekend. Then on

  399. Monday morning I got a phone call again. She called me,

  400. and I picked up Elvin. I've got good news. Yes,

  401. we're gonna hire you and we will match your asking salary. Well,

  402. how many of you go Praise the Lord? You've answered

  403. the prayer you've been praying for three months. You know

  404. that you're gonna get a job and you're gonna How

  405. many of you will go there? I said, oh, thank you,

  406. by I think I'll stay here. Are you sure? Because

  407. the hiring manager was a good friend of my heart

  408. leader then and she knew where I was. And I said, yeah,

  409. I'm sure, and I put on the phone, and I'm like,

  410. what the heck did I just do? I turned a

  411. two thousand dollars paying job that I wanted for seven

  412. hundred bucks. Lord, you've got to come true for me. Friends,

  413. I survived the other three months. Come January, a y

  414. I gave me a job and I've been working there

  415. until today. Okay, you can see the Lord has blessed me. Okay,

  416. look like I have all money, no money? Look like okay,

  417. looks can be the same anyway. I can also tell

  418. you that that's six months working in a y A.

  419. I will never trade it for anything because I learned

  420. about faith in the six months. There was once where

  421. I ran out of money. Okay, see I still work

  422. in Clang. I still work in sorry away in Subang,

  423. I saying Clang, I said take the part. The time

  424. on Federal Highway got to now no, already the time

  425. got to have to pay patrol. So no, thank god,

  426. that time patrol still got sla. Okay, I only take

  427. money to last a week to pay patrol and toe right. Oh,

  428. but before that, let me let me rewind a little bit.

  429. Why was I so confident taking the job. Well, maybe

  430. because the time my pasta Passa Kenna share a lot

  431. of story about how God moved in his life through faith.

  432. Share about how and saw you might have heard his

  433. story before God challenged him to give and when he

  434. looked in his wallet only got wondering git or hundering git.

  435. And he prayed, I's God, God, which color you want

  436. me to put? And I got say, Papa color God,

  437. is that really you? And then he gave the huntering git.

  438. And then he was hungry. And then after church someone

  439. saw him and said, I've been looking for you, took

  440. him out to it and he still had his wondering git.

  441. How Passa Canna shared when he was driving his car

  442. and he had no cash, he only could script whatever

  443. cash he had, and he had enough money to go.

  444. And God has never, never, never put him in a

  445. place where he has zero in his bank account close

  446. to zero? Gola, Can I tell you that I've experienced

  447. those things so so But as I hear my pastor's share,

  448. I was so encouraged. I say, if God can do

  449. it for him, God can do for me. It's just

  450. fafe stories. And I experienced my fave stories in the

  451. six months as a young adult, and God moved there

  452. was once I okay, go back to the story. I

  453. had no cash, only had cash, and then god aya

  454. got free my low. So I read plenty, I'm gonna

  455. survive my low and magi me and like, God, you

  456. still provide. I went to office a bit discouraged. Went

  457. to office in the morning, unlock everything, went to my

  458. table and I saw nicely my keyboard, the old school keyboard.

  459. Last time, Okay, now it's happening, but last time he was,

  460. you know, not so happening. One hundred dollar bill just

  461. propped out on my keyboard. I was staring at it

  462. for a while that I was like looking around. No

  463. one else is in office. And then I'm like, in

  464. my mind because somebody actually dropped, it cannot be what

  465. it's propped up nicely on my keyboard. And then I

  466. knew it is for me. Until today, I don't know

  467. who gave me the hunting kit. It's probably what my

  468. colleagues are. Definitely like, I cannot be anyone else that right,

  469. But I never tell my colicue. I never tell anyone

  470. my predical and I don't like, oh you know, I

  471. got no. I never never do that. Just trust God

  472. and Keller just a Wifler right, Malusola, Right, Maluso. I

  473. have so much more testimonies in the six months. And

  474. the cool thing is, let me read the next point.

  475. Faith as a legacy for the future generations. It is

  476. not just the testimonies of the past, but the testimonies

  477. of our future as well. Not just past the Kennef

  478. and extra testimonies, but our children and our next in

  479. line experiencing God in their lives. So, friends, I recognize faith.

  480. That's why I'm so big on it. That's why when

  481. I talk to people, I encourage them to act in faith,

  482. not because I, oh, you just know. I know it works,

  483. and I've heard other people having stories of how faith works.

  484. It just works when you're trust in God. I've heard

  485. so many buss here they got amazing faith testimonies about

  486. how God provided for them. Don't talk about so far.

  487. Even Xbu Xbu would not have started without faith if

  488. Steven didn't obey God, because honestly, he was not in

  489. the radar at all, zero in the radar. Right. I

  490. thought he just like this young chap, you know, trying

  491. to be funny, right, Sorry, Initia, Initia thoughts that Inia

  492. thoughts like Okay, I really sad before that I'm a skeptic. Okay,

  493. that's why when got work in my lamb. Like, okay, Lord,

  494. you know this funny, right, faith it was by faith

  495. that this is just one started. And look at how

  496. beautiful it's become. Right, you can you can go and

  497. find out from Sharon steven story. So also a faith

  498. field story. Right, A lot of you don't know now open, really,

  499. I can share more. Okay, So let me share Sharon's side, okay,

  500. because she's from XBJA and she's one of my my

  501. camera students, right, I quite protective now, okay, but this

  502. boy is in my handle.

  503. So so like, oh Lord, give me grades now you

  504. have to be you have to be neutral.

  505. So of course I try my best to support her

  506. in the difficult times, but I ken you not friends.

  507. Sharon really has a lot of faith because she was

  508. part of the original group that wanted to plan x

  509. Kota Damansara. And then when we change the name, of

  510. course I can understand why because she was in Katie

  511. and all. And I remember I said, you have a

  512. choice because we're changing the name, and I know you

  513. want to plan there, I mean, not just me, but

  514. we had a conversation and pastor and all. But for

  515. Steven it was good. I think I've said before that

  516. I never really understood why it was Stephen until we

  517. had to change the name to be and they're like, okay, lord,

  518. it's your plan from day one, because it was any

  519. other person that wanted to blant XKD. When we change

  520. the name, it will not have happened. Yeah, I mean

  521. only got knows, but Steven don't really care that. I

  522. mean whatever name, I can't know, right, So so that

  523. was that was a good thing. That was a good

  524. thing for me. It's like, yeah, it's fine. You know,

  525. as soon as your bland church. That was the that

  526. was the word I got. It was not exec it

  527. was planted church. That was that was it. So that

  528. was very clear. So when we clear that, we move forward, right.

  529. Sharon Coury just said, no, I'm not gonna do it.

  530. It's okay, you know, come at PJ. Right, but she said,

  531. I hurt God and I will continue. And then after that,

  532. unfortunately it didn't really work out relationally between them. Lah,

  533. I won't go too much to do detailer and of course,

  534. to be really honest, A this is why I said

  535. come back to PJ. I know your hurt thing is okay, one,

  536. the cool thing about X Church and I will tell

  537. you honestly, the cool thing about X church is sah,

  538. you don't have to leave X chess one, just go

  539. to na chich plan. No, really, there is the benefit.

  540. And I've seen how people get healed. And then the

  541. media life partnering a notch plan. Okay. So so if

  542. any of you here hurting friends, you'll know where to go. Okay,

  543. just check with your s CBC. Just tell you because

  544. I've seen it happen before. You know, two people in

  545. my chest plan got heartbreak. Now like, okay, then you

  546. go here, you go here then don't know why, different

  547. church planner, but somehow the law can connect them and

  548. all then now they're married doctor Jason and mean anyway

  549. you go ask them a story. Okay. So so I

  550. did that. I said, come come come, you know, I know,

  551. come come, just come. It's okay, it's okay. One, I

  552. hope you're okay. I'm me showing this too late. No,

  553. it's a testimony, friends, it's a testament because this young

  554. girl then I know when when she's she just said

  555. passel and then she said ah, let me pray about it,

  556. these kind things, and you pray pray about it, and

  557. I remember clearly after one week it's okay, past I

  558. will stay because God asked me to stay for the people.

  559. I was like, oh, okay, it is a tough thing

  560. to do, you know. And when she did, I knew

  561. it was out of faith. Did she know that? One

  562. day she and him She don't know. She's been faithful.

  563. And of course after that I got here her complain

  564. about a lot of things are but it's okay, you know,

  565. we'll live you at dead, we'll leave you at that. Okay,

  566. we'll go to watch you do that, and then the

  567. church is blessed. Right, friends, There are so many stories

  568. of faith and people acting in faith, and people taking

  569. the steps of faith even though they don't know everything.

  570. It's a race. It's hard, it's not easy. But when

  571. you obey the word of the Lord, and when you

  572. follow the word of the Lord, testimonies after testimonies of

  573. God moving in your life, what happened. This is why

  574. faith evident. It's a value in our church. Not because

  575. it sounds good, not because he's faith every diener, No,

  576. because it works. Because we see people doing it because

  577. when so I shared about my job, let me share

  578. you a few more testimonies, right, I guess, okay, okay,

  579. I go another five minutes, so I will maximize the

  580. five minutes I remember. So you see, you must understand

  581. how I function after that, and how pass it cannot

  582. function as well, because he's experienced so much of God

  583. that you cannot deny that God can do things right.

  584. And it's from that itself. It's not just from all

  585. understanding the world. Yes, all these God will so la.

  586. But the confidence come from the experience. You know. You know,

  587. when you expe see, you're more confident. You know, it's

  588. one thing to not hate knowledge and to be confident.

  589. It's another thing to experience it and be confident. Right

  590. I I I got married without money? Man, Right, I

  591. didn't I tell you? I tell you this is an

  592. interesting conversation. And so confident now you know my thing

  593. young and THEMB but so confident, you know, did the

  594. girl then gonna get married? I remember clearly when I

  595. was gonna propose, I had a chat with baske Enow.

  596. Then I said, yeah, Pasa, I think in another manla

  597. by the time to throw just so, I said for

  598. five years. Okay. She was very disappointed when I told

  599. her that, you know it was intentional. Okay, I said,

  600. four five years. But it was like, okay, another month

  601. somewhere in like November December. Around that time, I roughly

  602. know I had no money for ring our friends, but

  603. I was so full of favor because maybe fresh experience

  604. God in that time, God will provide you one. Right,

  605. I went and look for ring first. This is why

  606. I help people find ring, because I got experience it, right. Help.

  607. It's a privilege to help my other guys gore look

  608. for ring. They know all the tips. You go ask

  609. themay all the correct tips. So when and look for ring?

  610. No so one I really like. I still remember the

  611. price so funny two thousand eight ring git? Why God

  612. ring get? As we don't know? It was a shopping clang,

  613. and I said, this is the one, This is the one.

  614. And then I prayed and then got provided. You know

  615. how I provided. He gave me a freelance job, right,

  616. a freelance job that I could complain in two weeks,

  617. and you know how much was to pay? Funnily enough,

  618. two thousand ring git. He then the ring get how

  619. when they no no, no, sorry, not too darringit ah, okay,

  620. I remember it was not too daring gad. I don't

  621. remember how much was the pay the exact amount because

  622. it was in single dollar, but when they transferred the

  623. money to me, it was two thousand and eight ring git.

  624. Can you tell me it's not the lord providing? Yes,

  625. I said to work for but it was money that

  626. I didn't have. So we did two thousand and eight

  627. ringgit convert to Malaysia rink from Singapore dollar. I think

  628. it was like five hundred bucks around there, okay, about

  629. six hundred, so it converted nicely, you know. Two thousand eight.

  630. I draw out the money and I bought the ring

  631. friends still know, money for a wedding, and then I

  632. confident legal and proposed to her. Long story shot right

  633. before the wedding. One week before the wedding. Of course,

  634. I budgeted about twenty kayla at the time at that

  635. time now maybe more expensive, okay, the time we budgeted,

  636. and I didn't count the dinner and all that kind

  637. of stuff. And even with that, right, I was shot

  638. by five thousand ringgit. Okay, I was shot by five

  639. down ring git one week before the wedding so can

  640. you imagine how stressed I am? Now? Right, God, you

  641. say you provide, right, and then shot five dollar in

  642. kit okay, and then I'm like killer, just trust scholar.

  643. And I was stressed out. You know, Jess was enjoying herself,

  644. but I was stressed out. I'm like, I don't know

  645. How'm gonna pay for days and stuff like that. But

  646. I was and said, God, you've done it before, you'll

  647. do it again, right, But coming on five thousand, suddenly

  648. it's a bit too like suddenly, so I said, just

  649. don't worry. We will trust God to move. And of

  650. course people keep encouraging you, like, oh, you know, the

  651. dinner will help. But I'm like, I don't know. Okay,

  652. I don't know. I am not I'm not important. I

  653. didn't if I need that. Know that tal came to

  654. my wedding. I think if that comes, the better. I

  655. see a lot of people got that. I don't have that.

  656. I only got God, you know, I got past. Okay,

  657. maybe he's a I don't know, ah, And and I'm like, Kayla,

  658. lot and I tell you my resolve. I was like, Lord,

  659. you were just probably I was stressed out. I was

  660. stressed out. And I was like, but okay, I will

  661. work hard. So my solution to things work hard, I

  662. will sell my car if I need to after we

  663. get married, so that we will not start with that.

  664. Right went through the wedding. I also had story of

  665. wedding didn't go properly. You know my team that I

  666. was reading ext me. My team wanted to do a

  667. video for us, did a church vide announcement for us.

  668. Couldn't play on that day, so they didn't play it. Yeah,

  669. it was so funny because they were like, oh, let's

  670. play a video. Cannot play then okay, Uh, you feel

  671. like you're to go behind. Okas is fine. So we

  672. went through, had a good wedding and my only main

  673. concern was to pay off the dinner okay, because I

  674. didn't really care about extra or whatever, like not happy,

  675. you know, I don't worry about that. So five k

  676. less pay off the dinner, finished the dinner, your your catches,

  677. and went to the room chill. And then my my

  678. my best friend Sunny caught me. Then my main my

  679. first question cover say, don't worry, bro, don't worry. Cover.

  680. Cover You're like okay, okay, okay, Cover, Oh thank god,

  681. cover right, And then I had to ask that. I said,

  682. go extra, and you're like, go go, go extra, go extra.

  683. Oh how much I beg in to you, like I

  684. beging to you to find out? Okay, okka, So he

  685. beging to me there was an additional in two thousand

  686. two weeks after my wedding. My mother will come up

  687. to me. Hel mean this Auntie giving you don't know

  688. from where, don't know from where? Give you unpower? I'm

  689. getting unpower after my wedding. No, the lot provided, the

  690. lot provided, and of course after that, so there was there.

  691. Now this all old story, right. This is why when

  692. I talk to couples, are very confident because I've experienced it.

  693. This is why when you when I talk to young waders,

  694. I wear confident because I experienced it. You gave. I

  695. mean it's come from somewhere. No, because I know God

  696. works right and God can move and of course it

  697. might not be the same predicament. But faith works right.

  698. And I said, faith not just in the past, but

  699. faith in the future. That's why when it comes to

  700. different things like planting church and the ministries and all,

  701. I recognize faith, I recognize God's hand in it, right,

  702. and not just me, A lot of leaders and passers

  703. who understand this. In our church, we recognize and we

  704. can see it, and we encourage people to always act

  705. in faith. When you say cannot, God says can. But

  706. start smaller. Don't expect you to do big things yet, right,

  707. Start small, because if you don't tackle the small, it's

  708. very hard to tackle the big. I could only tackle

  709. big things right now because the small things got culty. Really,

  710. don't fret about the small things sorted? Ready? Right? Learn ready? Oh,

  711. come ready, don't keep going back to it. Now you're

  712. a bigger fish for fry. Now their important things to do? Amen? Right?

  713. I wrote here how we started the timmy ministry. Did

  714. I know? No? I not know. I recently heard a

  715. very sad story about how a pastor also had a

  716. child with special needs, and unfortunately he left the faith.

  717. He was very angry with God. But I can relate

  718. to him because I was very angry at God at

  719. that time. I was very angry. I wanted to quit

  720. full time ministry. I wanted to do a lot of things.

  721. But I think the one thing that saved me was

  722. that I prayed laughter that now ah and pray yeah Okay, lot,

  723. let's see where this goes. Right. But now the ministry,

  724. the expressionist ministry, my goodness, not me, our friends, because

  725. I am none, I am not. I'm not trained, right

  726. I I I didn't get us. I'm a creative person,

  727. not psychology degree. Right. The Lord has given us access

  728. to a lot of people, like even see bells, with

  729. us doing so many great things for families. They're coming

  730. up to say and say thank you so much. There

  731. was no solution until I met your We are nobody,

  732. you know, we are not expert. Now where I'm not expert,

  733. maybe you see we're expert, right. But God knows that

  734. when we act in faith and we move forward, he

  735. will make things happen. That's why faith is evident. I

  736. can tell you the ministry now that's happening. It's not

  737. just the past stories, but the ministry. And I am

  738. so amazed at what God is doing. Not me, you know,

  739. I just fay phony kill, I call this person, do this,

  740. God say talk to this he mean, but God is

  741. the wonder that He's doing all these things. When we

  742. continue to end in faith and when we continue to

  743. move forward, God will move in our lives. Amen. That

  744. is my encouragement. Imagine, everywhere we go in our church,

  745. faith is expressed. Faith is being lived out. No, not

  746. just talk and then no lived out. No, it's real, friends,

  747. Faith is real and the constant obedience to the leading

  748. of the Holy Spirit and the voice of God in

  749. our lives. That is important. Amen, That is what faith

  750. evidence is all about. And I really pray that xb

  751. you will experience it. Maybe you've not then, not dared,

  752. or or not sure or not you know, maybe you've

  753. not been challenged to step by in faith. Why don't

  754. you ask God to put you in a place where

  755. you need to? Right? I share this with the experier

  756. crowd if if you don't start acting up in face,

  757. because see, we're all about getting people to believe, getting

  758. well to do, getting people to mature. You know, when

  759. you're mature as a believer, our friends, when you understand

  760. your faith really deeply, right, do you know that when

  761. tough times come, you will not be shaken because you understand? Right,

  762. I cannot deny that God has worked in my life.

  763. So when tough times come out, I'm like, Okay, tough

  764. times are, but God is too good. But do you

  765. know that when you don't have the experience when it's

  766. just a piece of paper or some words on the

  767. oh favor, it's just it's just that. Do you know

  768. when tough times come you will follow away?

  769. This?

  770. Why has a church? You want? You want to mature

  771. in your faith? When will go deeper? I want to

  772. challenge people to really believe because when you do that, Wow,

  773. you experienced what wonderful thing God can do for you.

  774. And then you will overcome as well, because God saying

  775. his word that he'll make us overcome us. I tell

  776. you so many testimonies, I know Passal said and Pastor

  777. Tajin got so many. And remember one of it was

  778. that when they planted a church and they had no

  779. ex kids, no excites, no about their young family and all,

  780. and Belle and Isaac was there and they're like, oh,

  781. our kids, how are we work so hard? By've met Bell,

  782. She's an awesome person. You know, the law has provided

  783. the load has taken care of them. Right, what is

  784. the thing that God is asking you to do? What

  785. is the thing that we've been challenged? Because see, if

  786. we've been Christian for a long time, I really do

  787. believe that the Holy Spirit will be speaking to you one,

  788. and that's the one thing in your life, or that

  789. you need to address one, or you need to step

  790. up and faith one. What is that one thing? Maybe

  791. today's the day to say, Lord strender it to you.

  792. What should I do? Where should I go? How should

  793. I move forward? Amen? Let's pratt.

  794. We hope you've been blessed by this message. For more

  795. information on our church, please visit axchurch do org. We

  797. this week is going to be a good week.

  798. I hit for you.
